- 0:00Speaker 1: From it, those truths of such profundity that we are
- 0:04Speaker 1: transformed literally while the Word of God is being preached.
- 0:09Speaker 1: So as I preach to them, Holy Spirit, you echo
- 0:14Speaker 1: in them the Word that they need for the times
- 0:18Speaker 1: that they are in. I sanctify this word to everybody online,
- 0:24Speaker 1: everybody in the room, everybody in the building, everybody seeing
- 0:28Speaker 1: on Facebook, on YouTube, whatever device, through the app, however
- 0:31Speaker 1: you're looking, that you would have a God encounter, a
- 0:35Speaker 1: supernatural relevance. I believe you to do it in the
- 0:40Speaker 1: name that has been exalted above every name. In the
- 0:44Speaker 1: name of Jesus, we pray. And all the people said... Amen.
- 0:50Speaker 1: You may be seated. Yeah, let's go to work. We
- 0:56Speaker 1: are in the book of Numbers. In essence, it is
- 1:01Speaker 1: one of the books of the Pentateuch, the first five
- 1:03Speaker 1: books of the Bible. We are in the book of Numbers.
- 1:08Speaker 1: And in other words, we are in the book of
- 1:12Speaker 1: a census taken by God through Moses. to count and
- 1:20Speaker 1: categorize and regiment and organize who's with us. We want
- 1:28Speaker 1: an accurate accounting of what we have. So the book
- 1:34Speaker 1: of Numbers is preoccupied with numbers. And numbers become very important. Now,
- 1:43Speaker 1: numbers are very important to people who lack the numbers. Okay.
- 1:50Speaker 1: People who have large investments check them every day. But
- 1:55Speaker 1: numbers shrink in relevance to people who feel inadequate. But
- 2:02Speaker 1: I want to challenge those who feel like they are
- 2:06Speaker 1: not enough or they don't have enough. I want to
- 2:09Speaker 1: challenge you that until you count up what you have,
- 2:14Speaker 1: you can't get what you're about to receive. For example,
- 2:19Speaker 1: if the little boy didn't know that he had two
- 2:22Speaker 1: fish and five loaves of bread, we might not have
- 2:26Speaker 1: the miracle with the 5,000. When they said, how much
- 2:30Speaker 1: do you have? He didn't say, I don't know because
- 2:32Speaker 1: it's not enough. Knowing gives us a sense of control.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Even the woman who was about to bake a cake
- 2:43Speaker 1: and die knew she had a handful of meals. The
- 2:49Speaker 1: woman who had so much debt that she was about
- 2:52Speaker 1: to sell her sons knew that she had a pot
- 2:56Speaker 1: of oil. Do you know what you have? Paul and
- 3:04Speaker 1: Silas said, silver and gold have I, but such as
- 3:09Speaker 1: I give unto thee. See, if you don't know what
- 3:13Speaker 1: you have, you become vulnerable to deceit. If you don't
- 3:20Speaker 1: know what you have, you won't protect it. If you
- 3:23Speaker 1: don't know what you have, you won't value it. If
- 3:26Speaker 1: you don't know that your grandmama's watch has got real
- 3:29Speaker 1: diamonds around it, you won't insure it. The enemy capitalizes
- 3:34Speaker 1: off of ignorance. I don't want to look at my
- 3:39Speaker 1: credit report. Well, you can't fix it if you can't
- 3:42Speaker 1: look at it. I've got a surgeon in the room.
- 3:48Speaker 1: He can't operate if he can't see. How can you
- 3:51Speaker 1: fix what you will not look at? I don't talk
- 3:56Speaker 1: to that daughter. She crazy. If you don't talk to her,
- 4:00Speaker 1: she'll never get better. So speaking that word and speaking
- 4:05Speaker 1: that challenge and speaking that thought is very, very, very
- 4:09Speaker 1: important if you're going to be able to go any further. Moses,
- 4:13Speaker 1: you have gone as far as you can go without
- 4:16Speaker 1: a census. Numbers are important to God. When they got
- 4:22Speaker 1: the two fish and five loaves of bread from the
- 4:23Speaker 1: boy in the New Testament, then Jesus told the disciples
- 4:26Speaker 1: to set the people, the 5,000 down in groups of 50.
- 4:30Speaker 1: He said, count every last one of them and organize
- 4:34Speaker 1: what you have. So a proper accounting is important to
- 4:40Speaker 1: run anything. I talked to one of the entrepreneurs, young
- 4:44Speaker 1: entrepreneurs here at the church, and he said, I can't
- 4:47Speaker 1: seem to get up on my feet. I can't seem
- 4:48Speaker 1: to get myself together. And then when he told me
- 4:51Speaker 1: that he was taking the business money and mixing it
- 4:54Speaker 1: with the personal money in the same account, I said,
- 4:58Speaker 1: you can't go forward because you can't see. Separate your
- 5:02Speaker 1: business account from your personal account. Even if you have
- 5:07Speaker 1: to pay yourself from your business account, you can't see
- 5:11Speaker 1: what you're doing. If you mix everything together, you can't
- 5:15Speaker 1: tell what you've got and you will hamper where you're going.
- 5:20Speaker 1: So because they were about, Jesus was about to perform
- 5:23Speaker 1: a miracle, he's getting organized by numbers. Okay. And in
- 5:29Speaker 1: the text, because Moses is getting ready to take the
- 5:32Speaker 1: promised land, he's getting organized by numbers. Last year they
- 5:37Speaker 1: did a census. And it was important that you fill
- 5:42Speaker 1: out the census because it determines how the taxes are
- 5:45Speaker 1: distributed and whose roads get done and whose schools get income.
- 5:49Speaker 1: And so many things are in control by the numbers.
- 5:54Speaker 1: You go into the doctor to get a physical. And
- 5:57Speaker 1: the first thing they want to do is put you
- 5:59Speaker 1: on a scale. And I think, look, I didn't come
- 6:02Speaker 1: in here to hear how fat I am. I came
- 6:08Speaker 1: in here because my knee hurt, but you want to
- 6:10Speaker 1: put me on the scale. Because the numbers measure the
- 6:15Speaker 1: impact on the knee. So you can't just fix the
- 6:23Speaker 1: knee without assessing how much pressure is on it. And
- 6:28Speaker 1: by the way, what do you do for a living?
- 6:30Speaker 1: How long are you standing? What are you going through?
- 6:32Speaker 1: You know, they ask you all kinds of stuff. And
- 6:35Speaker 1: Moses has given them a series of questions in the
- 6:39Speaker 1: upper part of the chapter that I didn't read because
- 6:41Speaker 1: he is doing an evaluation of what will it take
- 6:46Speaker 1: to take over? What will it take to take over?
- 6:56Speaker 1: What will it take? When I counsel couples, I ask them,
- 6:59Speaker 1: and they're fighting. They don't come to me until they're mad.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I mean, they're real mad. They won't come to couples
- 7:05Speaker 1: class or anything like that. They won't come. They come
- 7:08Speaker 1: when all hell is breaking loose, and they're on their
- 7:10Speaker 1: way to the courthouse, and they stop by the church.
- 7:14Speaker 1: And they really don't want me to fix the relationship.
- 7:17Speaker 1: They want me to validate who's right. But the first
- 7:23Speaker 1: thing you begin to do is ask a series of questions.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Because those questions help us not only to evaluate, but
- 7:33Speaker 1: for you to be introspective. And hopefully in the process
- 7:37Speaker 1: of asking the questions, you cease to worship around the
- 7:40Speaker 1: throne of who's right. And begin to ask yourself, what
- 7:46Speaker 1: will it take to make this marriage work? Okay, I
- 7:52Speaker 1: understand she cheated on you and you're angry about it.
- 7:55Speaker 1: What will it take for you to forgive her? Until
- 7:59Speaker 1: you answer that question, how much does your forgiveness cost?
- 8:07Speaker 1: 150 I'm sorry's. Just give me a number. Generally, they
- 8:13Speaker 1: don't know. And as long as you don't know what
- 8:15Speaker 1: it will take to recover, you'll never get better. What
- 8:20Speaker 1: will it take to move this relationship forward? What will
- 8:24Speaker 1: it take to get us to our destiny? What will
- 8:27Speaker 1: it take for my son to graduate? What will it
- 8:29Speaker 1: take for me to be able to apply for this grant?
- 8:32Speaker 1: What will it, I'm not going to fill out a
- 8:34Speaker 1: form for a grant when I don't know what it
- 8:37Speaker 1: takes to win. Or let me say it in biblical language,
- 8:41Speaker 1: no man goeth to build without counting up the You'd
- 8:47Speaker 1: be surprised at the people who go to bill and
- 8:49Speaker 1: they have not counted up the cost. They don't read
- 8:53Speaker 1: the small print. All they want to know is how
- 8:55Speaker 1: much are the payments. See, uninformed people want to know
- 9:03Speaker 1: how much are the payments. Informed people want to know
- 9:06Speaker 1: how much is the interest. Because if I'm going to
- 9:11Speaker 1: have to make them payments the rest of my life
- 9:14Speaker 1: for the car, That means I paid for the car
- 9:17Speaker 1: 12 times. And the sticker is a lie because of
- 9:23Speaker 1: the interest. And who pays the closing costs? If you
- 9:27Speaker 1: don't know what to ask, you can never change your situation.
- 9:34Speaker 1: So Moses begins by telling them, not only do I
- 9:37Speaker 1: want you to go, because if you send people into
- 9:39Speaker 1: a room without an objective, it becomes a tour. I
- 9:47Speaker 1: trained our staff. When we have a business meeting and
- 9:50Speaker 1: we have a strategy meeting every year and all the
- 9:52Speaker 1: people I'm going to do business with from everywhere comes
- 9:54Speaker 1: in and we sit down at the table, come into
- 9:57Speaker 1: the room with an agenda. we are not really there
- 10:01Speaker 1: for lunch so don't let the dry chicken distract you
- 10:11Speaker 1: eat a cracker and close the deal you might not
- 10:15Speaker 1: even get to eat the lunch at all the lunch
- 10:18Speaker 1: is camouflaged And Moses is on the precipice of entering
- 10:28Speaker 1: into something so massive and so big and so different
- 10:34Speaker 1: and so unlike anything he has ever seen. See, Moses
- 10:38Speaker 1: has never seen the promised land. He has only heard
- 10:42Speaker 1: about it. God is about to give you something that
- 10:46Speaker 1: you have never seen. Shut up out. You've heard about it,
- 10:53Speaker 1: but you have actually never seen it. You didn't grow
- 10:56Speaker 1: up in it. You hadn't been exposed to it. You
- 10:59Speaker 1: don't understand it, but God keeps waving it before you
- 11:02Speaker 1: in dreams and visions. And this is what is called
- 11:05Speaker 1: exceedingly abundantly above all that we may ask or think.
- 11:12Speaker 1: I can only imagine. I'm saying God is about to
- 11:19Speaker 1: give you something that you can only... They have come
- 11:25Speaker 1: 40 years on imagination. And this is the turning point
- 11:31Speaker 1: where imagination becomes reality. And before they ever even send
- 11:37Speaker 1: the spies, they want to get the numbers and the
- 11:41Speaker 1: questions ready. We want to know who we are, what
- 11:47Speaker 1: we have to offer. And we want to know who
- 11:51Speaker 1: they are and what they have. He asked them questions
- 11:53Speaker 1: about the land, questions about this, questions about that, questions
- 11:56Speaker 1: about the other. Are you asking enough questions to prepare
- 12:00Speaker 1: you for what you're about to step into? Marriages survive
- 12:04Speaker 1: when you ask the right questions and not make assumptions.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Because you could be working hard to give the other
- 12:17Speaker 1: person something different. that they don't need. And the only
- 12:22Speaker 1: way you can find out what they need is to
- 12:25Speaker 1: ask questions. So the book of Numbers is a census,
- 12:31Speaker 1: and Moses is sending the spies over to do an
- 12:35Speaker 1: inventory on what's next because he is humble enough to know,
- 12:40Speaker 1: I know how to live in Egypt. I know how
- 12:42Speaker 1: to address Pharaoh. I know how to survive in that culture.
- 12:45Speaker 1: I know how to survive in the desert because I
- 12:48Speaker 1: learned how to survive in the desert by staying out
- 12:51Speaker 1: there with Jethro, but I don't know how to possess
- 12:54Speaker 1: what's next. Ah! I want to talk to somebody this
- 12:58Speaker 1: morning that you're about to possess something that you don't
- 13:01Speaker 1: even know how to do. And you've been looking at
- 13:04Speaker 1: it a long time, afraid of it, because there is
- 13:07Speaker 1: nothing in your background that has prepared you for your future.
- 13:20Speaker 1: I mean a radical change. I don't mean a continuation
- 13:24Speaker 1: of business as usual. I mean stepping into another dimension
- 13:28Speaker 1: of anything you have ever done before and you've been
- 13:31Speaker 1: afraid of it and you've been staring at it and
- 13:33Speaker 1: you've been looking at it and you've been thinking about
- 13:36Speaker 1: it and you've been dreaming about it but you haven't
- 13:38Speaker 1: been moving on it because you're afraid of it. I
- 13:41Speaker 1: rebuke the spirit of fear. Greater is he that's in
- 13:44Speaker 1: you than he that's in the world. God is going
- 13:47Speaker 1: to do what God is going to do. Oh, I
- 13:52Speaker 1: feel a shout coming in the house. I feel a
- 13:55Speaker 1: praise coming in the house. As my spirit receives this
- 13:59Speaker 1: word and ingest it and digest it and appropriate it,
- 14:03Speaker 1: it also drives out the toxicity of fear and intimidation
- 14:09Speaker 1: and procrastination. You're not procrastinating because you're lazy. You're procrastinating
- 14:15Speaker 1: because you're afraid. Ye shall know the truth and the
- 14:19Speaker 1: truth shall set you free. How big are they? What
- 14:30Speaker 1: does the land look like? What do they wear in
- 14:34Speaker 1: that setting? What is an appropriate conversation for what's next
- 14:41Speaker 1: in my life? I feel a prophetic, because I'm going
- 14:50Speaker 1: to take my time with this, because I feel like
- 14:53Speaker 1: this is prophetic in the life of somebody that you've
- 14:56Speaker 1: been knowing for the last couple of years that things
- 14:59Speaker 1: were about to shift for you. And you've been standing
- 15:02Speaker 1: there staring at it. You heard about it. You felt it.
- 15:05Speaker 1: You sensed it. But it doesn't fit where you came from.
- 15:09Speaker 1: And God is going to cause you to take a
- 15:11Speaker 1: leap of faith into a realm that you've never been
- 15:14Speaker 1: in before. And you're going to step into it. The
- 15:25Speaker 1: entrance of thy word giveth light. The entrance of thy
- 15:28Speaker 1: word giveth light. When you take in the word, it
- 15:32Speaker 1: gives light, which when you have light on the inside,
- 15:35Speaker 1: it's called enlightenment. Enlightenment. Enlightenment cannot be measured. External light
- 15:45Speaker 1: can be measured. The lumens from external light can be measured,
- 15:50Speaker 1: but the lumens on internal light, there is no mechanism
- 15:54Speaker 1: to control enlightenment. The devil doesn't mind you turning lights
- 15:58Speaker 1: on on the outside. He doesn't want you to have
- 16:00Speaker 1: lights turned on on the inside. But this word that
- 16:04Speaker 1: I'm preaching to you this morning is getting ready to
- 16:07Speaker 1: lighten you up until you are enlightened and prepared for
- 16:10Speaker 1: what God is about to do next in your life.
- 16:13Speaker 1: What the hell do you do? Don't click me off
- 16:15Speaker 1: right now. Because I'm getting ready to get you ready
- 16:18Speaker 1: for what you're about to step into. God doesn't want
- 16:24Speaker 1: you to step into it as a fool. With assumptions
- 16:30Speaker 1: and ideas that are inaccurate. Because if you step into
- 16:33Speaker 1: it as a fool, when the wind blows, the house
- 16:36Speaker 1: will come down. Because you didn't build it on a rock.
- 16:43Speaker 1: You didn't build it on a fact. you didn't build
- 16:46Speaker 1: it with a clear understanding. So Moses, in an attempt
- 16:50Speaker 1: to assess, he's already done an assessment of who he's
- 16:54Speaker 1: got with him and what he has. He is now
- 16:57Speaker 1: assessing what he's up against. He doesn't start a fight
- 17:03Speaker 1: without assessing what he's up against. He doesn't make assumptions
- 17:11Speaker 1: about what it takes To do what I see. It's
- 17:14Speaker 1: one thing to hear me preach on Sunday morning, but
- 17:17Speaker 1: you cannot assess what it costs to be me by
- 17:21Speaker 1: watching me preach on Sunday morning because that is just
- 17:25Speaker 1: the chicken wing part of what leadership takes to run this. Yes.
- 17:37Speaker 1: You don't know the multiplicity of issues and actions that
- 17:43Speaker 1: are necessary that goes into any decision that we make.
- 17:46Speaker 1: You don't know that if we're going to have a
- 17:49Speaker 1: leadership conference, we have to make sure that we put
- 17:51Speaker 1: people in the safest possible environment. So that means we
- 17:54Speaker 1: have to spray the room. We have to change the mics.
- 17:57Speaker 1: We have to make sure that we do social distancing.
- 18:00Speaker 1: We have to count all of that up because of
- 18:02Speaker 1: the times that we're moving in extra measures and precautions
- 18:07Speaker 1: have to be taken and we have to meet about
- 18:09Speaker 1: it and we have to talk about it and we
- 18:10Speaker 1: have to strategize and we have to talk to the
- 18:12Speaker 1: hotel managers and we have to manage their expectations and
- 18:16Speaker 1: their cleanliness and their methodology before we do recommendations it's
- 18:23Speaker 1: not about just can you speak to the leaders it's
- 18:28Speaker 1: about making sure that you have done due diligence to
- 18:31Speaker 1: protect what God has given you So Moses has assessed
- 18:37Speaker 1: what he has, and now he has sent the spies
- 18:40Speaker 1: to assess what he's up against. Have you had anybody
- 18:45Speaker 1: spy out what you're up against? I get calls all
- 18:51Speaker 1: the time from people who say, I want to, they say,
- 18:55Speaker 1: the interviewers ask me all the time, what's a typical
- 18:58Speaker 1: day in the life of T.D. Jakes, which I laugh
- 19:00Speaker 1: because there is no typical day. Every day is a surprise.
- 19:05Speaker 1: You know, every day is different. Every day is new.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Every day is unpredictable. And it's hard for me to
- 19:10Speaker 1: describe for them that there are a lot of things
- 19:12Speaker 1: I can't do. People who want you to have an
- 19:14Speaker 1: appointment every Monday and every Wednesday at 2 o'clock drive
- 19:17Speaker 1: me crazy because my Mondays and Wednesdays are not typical.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Suppose I have a funeral. Suppose I have a crisis.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Suppose we're shooting a movie. Suppose I have an interview
- 19:28Speaker 1: about the movie. Suppose we have a situation where we
- 19:30Speaker 1: have to negotiate to be able to provide products for
- 19:34Speaker 1: a hospital overseas. I can't be locked up to a schedule.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Other people might be able to do that. So you
- 19:45Speaker 1: have to know what your need is like and then
- 19:48Speaker 1: assess whether— you're up against. The text before us is
- 19:54Speaker 1: after the analysis behind it that has evaluated what they
- 19:58Speaker 1: have and now they're going to see what it takes
- 20:02Speaker 1: for what's next. Because never assume that what's next is
- 20:08Speaker 1: like where you've been. Never assume that you can get
- 20:16Speaker 1: married and still be single. Never think for a minute
- 20:22Speaker 1: that having a baby won't change the whole dynamics of
- 20:27Speaker 1: the marriage. Somebody ought to be shutting me down right now.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Every change in what's next affects everything that was. Yes.
- 20:43Speaker 1: So the biggest part of leadership is thinking. And you
- 20:47Speaker 1: can't do great thinking with poor information. Oh, that's a
- 20:55Speaker 1: tweetable right there. You can't do great thinking with poor information. Footnote,
- 21:00Speaker 1: be careful who feeds you information. Because somebody feeding you
- 21:07Speaker 1: bad information will cause you to make bad decisions, could
- 21:11Speaker 1: cause you to be killed. When somebody sends me an article,
- 21:16Speaker 1: the first thing I look at is who wrote it?
- 21:18Speaker 1: How reputable is the company? Is this legitimate? Where did
- 21:22Speaker 1: it come from? Then I validate it. Then I, especially now.
- 21:27Speaker 1: So Moses is doing validation. He sent 12 scouts to
- 21:31Speaker 1: assess the feasibility of taking back the land. He is
- 21:34Speaker 1: taking back what has been promised to his forefathers, not
- 21:38Speaker 1: what has been promised to him because he has never
- 21:41Speaker 1: seen it. But 430 years of being in Egypt has
- 21:45Speaker 1: not taken away the promise of God. 400 years of
- 21:49Speaker 1: being a slave has not taken away the promise of God.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Some kind of way, though the word was diluted and
- 21:55Speaker 1: polluted by the Egyptian theology and their way of life,
- 21:59Speaker 1: still the rumor persisted that where I am is not
- 22:05Speaker 1: where I'm from. That I'm an immigrant to this situation.
- 22:10Speaker 1: And some kind of way, the rumor had persisted that
- 22:13Speaker 1: there was a promised land. You can't move from a
- 22:17Speaker 1: place when you think that you belong in the place.
- 22:25Speaker 1: You can never move from poverty if poverty has become
- 22:29Speaker 1: your normal. The day you accept it is the day
- 22:33Speaker 1: you're defeated. Many of you heard me tell this. I
- 22:38Speaker 1: walked in my house one day in West Virginia years ago,
- 22:41Speaker 1: and we had first got married. We were young people,
- 22:43Speaker 1: and the house was there, and it was okay. It
- 22:45Speaker 1: was sort of okay, a little bit in a way. And,
- 22:48Speaker 1: you know, it was kind of cruddy and everything. I
- 22:53Speaker 1: walked in the house, and I started talking to the house,
- 22:54Speaker 1: and I said to the house, I said to the house,
- 22:57Speaker 1: I said to the house, I said to the house,
- 23:01Speaker 1: you're lying on me. Now, I know that sounds kind
- 23:07Speaker 1: of crazy, and there might be some therapists that want
- 23:10Speaker 1: to meet with me after service, but I talk to stuff.
- 23:14Speaker 1: I told the house, you a lie. This is not
- 23:18Speaker 1: my reality. It might be my situation, but it is
- 23:21Speaker 1: not who I am. It might be where I got
- 23:23Speaker 1: to be at this moment, but this is not me.
- 23:26Speaker 1: And you are lying on me, and I was living
- 23:29Speaker 1: in a lie. And then I told the house, I'm
- 23:37Speaker 1: better than this. I hadn't seen better, but down in
- 23:46Speaker 1: my spirit I knew that I was better than what
- 23:49Speaker 1: was around me. I was better than choosing which utility
- 23:53Speaker 1: I was going to keep on. I was better than
- 23:56Speaker 1: having to use my neighbor's phone. I was better than
- 23:59Speaker 1: dropping their cable line through my window. I'm in it,
- 24:04Speaker 1: but I'm not of it. That's why you got to
- 24:08Speaker 1: tell your children who they are and keep reminding them
- 24:11Speaker 1: who they are. Because if you don't remind them who
- 24:13Speaker 1: they are, somebody else will lay hands on them and
- 24:16Speaker 1: make them what they're not. They will molest them. That's
- 24:22Speaker 1: what molestation really is, is to make me what I
- 24:25Speaker 1: am not because you're making me what you need me
- 24:28Speaker 1: to be rather than what I am. Oh, I'm on
- 24:33Speaker 1: a roll this morning. I'm in my zone this morning.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Hell is in trouble this morning. Demons ought to tremble
- 24:38Speaker 1: this morning. I want you to get ready for me.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Get ready, get ready, get ready. Because I feel the
- 24:43Speaker 1: flow of the Holy Ghost in this place. I feel
- 24:45Speaker 1: a wind about to hit this place. I feel the
- 24:48Speaker 1: power of God about to shatter this place. I feel
- 24:50Speaker 1: a shatter. It's going to shatter every misconception that's held
- 24:54Speaker 1: you down to the same level and said you can't
- 24:57Speaker 1: be anything else is a liar. Phelan Rushe Alakajah, one
- 25:06Speaker 1: of the richest black women in the world who is
- 25:10Speaker 1: in oil and went from fashion to oil, started out
- 25:14Speaker 1: as a secretary in the bank. So she's typing around it.
- 25:23Speaker 1: She don't have it, but she's typing around it. And
- 25:27Speaker 1: the spirit of prosperity fell on her. And so she
- 25:33Speaker 1: went from being a secretary to being a seamstress to
- 25:37Speaker 1: being a stylist to being a fashion designer that hit
- 25:41Speaker 1: the Paris runway. Then she flipped the money from the
- 25:44Speaker 1: Paris runway and put it in oil and she bought
- 25:48Speaker 1: some property that they thought would never be worth anything.
- 25:51Speaker 1: In fact, she bought it in the middle of the
- 25:52Speaker 1: water and they laughed at her and thought she was
- 25:55Speaker 1: a fool until she hit oil. Somebody in this place
- 25:58Speaker 1: is about to dig your way into some The men
- 26:09Speaker 1: that Moses sent were not just 12 men he picked
- 26:13Speaker 1: at random. No, no. They were the heads of the
- 26:17Speaker 1: 12 tribes of Israel. So they had influence. And you
- 26:22Speaker 1: have to understand they had influence. They had leadership. They
- 26:26Speaker 1: had insight. They had impact. He picks these 12 men
- 26:31Speaker 1: to go. And they are going into a city knowing
- 26:36Speaker 1: that when they get there, though they are 12 and representatives,
- 26:40Speaker 1: they know that when they get in the city, they're
- 26:42Speaker 1: going to be outnumbered. It's not like it's 12 men
- 26:47Speaker 1: going to visit 12 men. The Hittites were there. The
- 26:52Speaker 1: Jebusites were there. The Canaanites were there. The sons of
- 26:57Speaker 1: Anak were there. They had all of these people. They
- 27:00Speaker 1: knew they were walking into a situation where they were outgunned.
- 27:04Speaker 1: They knew they were carrying a knife to a gunfight.
- 27:07Speaker 1: They knew they were carrying a checkerboard to a chess game.
- 27:11Speaker 1: And still they went. Can you go into a situation
- 27:18Speaker 1: where you're outnumbered? Because that determines whether you're going to
- 27:22Speaker 1: be able to go into the promised land. If you
- 27:24Speaker 1: can only work with people who look like you and
- 27:27Speaker 1: dress like you and walk like you until you're willing
- 27:30Speaker 1: to walk into a room where you're outnumbered, you'll never
- 27:33Speaker 1: receive what God has for you. They were 12 men.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Twelve leaders representing the twelve tribes of Israel, each one
- 27:43Speaker 1: having influence over different tribes. Oh, let me stop there
- 27:47Speaker 1: for a minute and say, even though Israel was moving,
- 27:50Speaker 1: they had tribes. Tribalism exists in progress. You can't wait
- 28:00Speaker 1: till everybody is one to move. If America only moved
- 28:08Speaker 1: when America agreed, we would get nothing done. Not only
- 28:12Speaker 1: do we not agree now, we have never agreed about anything.
- 28:17Speaker 1: And one time the agreement got so bad, it broke
- 28:19Speaker 1: out to a civil war and still the country survived.
- 28:24Speaker 1: And you might be having a civil war in your
- 28:26Speaker 1: house right now. But just because you're at odds doesn't
- 28:29Speaker 1: mean you can't survive. I've seen folks stay married who
- 28:33Speaker 1: fought every day. And the folks who was walking around
- 28:35Speaker 1: hugging and kissing broke up in three years. Can I
- 28:46Speaker 1: go on? They knew that they would be outnumbered. What
- 28:51Speaker 1: they didn't know... is whether they would return. Look at
- 28:57Speaker 1: the courage it took for all 12 of them to
- 29:00Speaker 1: go into a land where they're outnumbered and to not
- 29:04Speaker 1: be certain that they would ever come back. Can you
- 29:09Speaker 1: imagine being the wives or the sons or the daughters
- 29:12Speaker 1: of one of these 12 men and you're packing their
- 29:15Speaker 1: bags and you're sending them out and you're kissing them
- 29:21Speaker 1: at the door and you're watching them as they go away,
- 29:25Speaker 1: and you're wondering, is this the last look? They could
- 29:31Speaker 1: have been killed. They could have been murdered. They could
- 29:35Speaker 1: have been destroyed. When you get ready to make your
- 29:39Speaker 1: next move, you have to understand and live with the
- 29:43Speaker 1: fact I could kill might go bankrupt might not come
- 29:54Speaker 1: out of it this is progress is not for the
- 29:57Speaker 1: faint of heart Can I preach this? The part of
- 30:03Speaker 1: the text that I'm focusing on right now describes their return.
- 30:08Speaker 1: So they did come back. And they lived to tell it.
- 30:14Speaker 1: I told them when the pandemic started and all the
- 30:17Speaker 1: young people, younger than me in the church were laughing
- 30:20Speaker 1: because I put protocols in place in my house, in
- 30:22Speaker 1: my life, in my car, everything. And I told them
- 30:26Speaker 1: somebody got to be alive to tell what happened. So
- 30:32Speaker 1: I already had my speech prepared. What had happened was
- 30:36Speaker 1: they was arguing about masks and vaccines and stuff. And
- 30:40Speaker 1: that's how big it is. You got a plan on
- 30:49Speaker 1: coming back. Somebody shout, I'm coming back. Anybody getting anything
- 31:02Speaker 1: out of this or am I just, I don't know.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Now they come back with a report and they come
- 31:09Speaker 1: back to report to Moses. I don't understand this part
- 31:11Speaker 1: of the text and I think Moses is a great leader,
- 31:15Speaker 1: one of the greatest leaders in the Old Testament, amazing person,
- 31:19Speaker 1: a mentor to me in many, many ways. I don't
- 31:23Speaker 1: understand this. I don't understand why he let the 12
- 31:26Speaker 1: spies come back and make a public report. I don't
- 31:32Speaker 1: understand that. I would never do that. I would never
- 31:36Speaker 1: do that. To me, no contemporary leader would get a
- 31:41Speaker 1: report from your top men with a news station. Because
- 31:46Speaker 1: you don't know what they're going to tell you. And
- 31:49Speaker 1: I would rather hear that information, process that information, and
- 31:53Speaker 1: disseminate that information. Until you have a respect for information,
- 31:57Speaker 1: you can't be trusted with news. The moment feels like
- 32:06Speaker 1: a CSI abduction story. You know in CSI when the
- 32:11Speaker 1: police have surrounded the bank and set up boundaries and
- 32:14Speaker 1: begin to ask all kinds of questions and they call
- 32:16Speaker 1: for the architectural designs of the building and they want
- 32:18Speaker 1: to know what the ventilation system is like and how
- 32:21Speaker 1: big is it and they want to know how many
- 32:22Speaker 1: entry doors and access there is. And they want to
- 32:24Speaker 1: know what would happen if they cut off the heat
- 32:26Speaker 1: or the air or the power. And they want to
- 32:28Speaker 1: assess everything. How many hostages are in the building? Where
- 32:32Speaker 1: are they being held? And what type of weapons does
- 32:35Speaker 1: the enemy have? It's that kind of feeling. But they
- 32:39Speaker 1: don't do that with cameras. The press is put out
- 32:45Speaker 1: while the facts are coming in. Don't tell your story
- 32:49Speaker 1: too soon. Because we're still fact-finding. We're still gathering information.
- 32:57Speaker 1: And you'll hear the police make reports sometimes. No, I
- 32:59Speaker 1: can't answer that question. We can tell you this. We
- 33:01Speaker 1: can tell you that. We can't answer that question. It's
- 33:03Speaker 1: still up under investigation. When the investigation is complete, we'll
- 33:05Speaker 1: give you updated information. While you're still in a stage
- 33:08Speaker 1: of investigation, don't start bragging. If Joseph would have followed that,
- 33:14Speaker 1: he would have never ended up in the pit. Don't
- 33:18Speaker 1: tell your brothers you're going to be king before you're king,
- 33:20Speaker 1: or they'll throw you in a pit and tell your
- 33:22Speaker 1: daddy you're dead. Let's get the architect's blueprint. This kind
- 33:30Speaker 1: of fact-finding moment isn't done in front of the press
- 33:32Speaker 1: or around a whole lot of people. Yet Moses is
- 33:35Speaker 1: gathering intelligence and exposing it to the public in real-time speed.
- 33:40Speaker 1: And I'm like clipping off of this. Because the intelligence
- 33:45Speaker 1: that he's gathering is relative. And intelligence is always relative.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Intelligence is based on perspective. And so you don't want
- 33:56Speaker 1: to send out mixed messages to multitudes. Because if you
- 34:01Speaker 1: send out mixed messages to multitudes, it creates murmuring. That's
- 34:07Speaker 1: why I want you to delete some of your pictures
- 34:11Speaker 1: on your Instagram. Because one moment you're talking about how
- 34:16Speaker 1: good God is, and your name on there is Big
- 34:20Speaker 1: Breast Betty. Yeah. And you're sending mixed messages. And we
- 34:26Speaker 1: don't know which one of you... Did I say that
- 34:32Speaker 1: out loud? I didn't mean to say that. I apologize,
- 34:36Speaker 1: big breast, Betty. I didn't mean to call your name
- 34:39Speaker 1: out loud in the middle of my sermon. But there
- 34:42Speaker 1: has to be a continuity of information. I know. It's
- 34:48Speaker 1: a cultural thing. Pray for me. There... You can't create
- 34:53Speaker 1: trust with conflicting truth. And so they're having a private
- 35:01Speaker 1: debate in a public place. Ten of the spies have said,
- 35:07Speaker 1: we can't do this. There's no way in the world
- 35:10Speaker 1: we can do this. Now look at this for a minute.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Wait a minute. The option to not doing this is
- 35:15Speaker 1: living in the desert where we have been for the
- 35:19Speaker 1: last 40 years. When you look at the option of
- 35:24Speaker 1: not going forward, it will give you courage to fight
- 35:30Speaker 1: the opposition. Because I don't know about you, I'm more
- 35:34Speaker 1: afraid of stagnation than I am opposition. I would rather
- 35:38Speaker 1: fight the opposition than to succumb to the frustration of
- 35:43Speaker 1: stagnation and wasting my life being stuck in the same spot.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Do I have anybody related to me in here? Are
- 35:51Speaker 1: you from my tribe? Holler at me if you're ready
- 35:55Speaker 1: to make a move. Only Joshua and Caleb brought back
- 36:02Speaker 1: a positive report. Two men out of 12, again, outnumbered.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Their report is a true report, but they were outnumbered.
- 36:17Speaker 1: I won't focus on Joshua as he will get a
- 36:20Speaker 1: lot of face time in the scriptures. He will fight
- 36:23Speaker 1: the Amalekites. He will become Moses' successor. He will split
- 36:28Speaker 1: the Jordan River. He will march around the walls of Jericho.
- 36:31Speaker 1: He will defeat Jericho. He will successfully subdue the promised land.
- 36:35Speaker 1: I'm not going to spend a lot of time on
- 36:37Speaker 1: him because he gets a lot of face time in preaching,
- 36:39Speaker 1: a lot of face time in scriptures, a lot of
- 36:41Speaker 1: face time in history. But I am fascinated by Caleb.
- 36:47Speaker 1: And I'm shocked that Joshua, who is mighty in battle,
- 36:51Speaker 1: did not silence the crowd with his ability to fight.
- 36:57Speaker 1: And I'm fascinated that Caleb, who has less face time,
- 37:02Speaker 1: seemingly has more influence. Can I go deeper? Can I
- 37:07Speaker 1: go deeper? The Bible, so I started studying Caleb. Caleb,
- 37:11Speaker 1: the Bible says, has another spirit. He's just a different
- 37:14Speaker 1: kind of guy. But what about Caleb? What can we know?
- 37:20Speaker 1: Who is this man who silenced the entire congregation? Millions
- 37:24Speaker 1: of people shut up when he spoke up. What do
- 37:28Speaker 1: we really know about him? He is outnumbered in the text.
- 37:32Speaker 1: One man stood up and silenced the whole crowd. The
- 37:38Speaker 1: first thing he teaches me is use your voice. Even
- 37:43Speaker 1: when you're outnumbered, use your voice. Don't let anybody take
- 37:46Speaker 1: your voice. I have a right to my opinion. I
- 37:49Speaker 1: have a right to say what I think. I have
- 37:51Speaker 1: a right to speak how I saw it. Even if
- 37:54Speaker 1: everybody else sees it another way, I still have the
- 37:57Speaker 1: right to say what I saw. He's outnumbered by the 12.
- 38:04Speaker 1: He's outnumbered in the details provided in the Torah. He
- 38:08Speaker 1: is mentioned in the Koran, but not by name. Caleb
- 38:13Speaker 1: has a low profile, but a powerful voice. What gives
- 38:18Speaker 1: him the power to silence this crowd in such a
- 38:22Speaker 1: dynamic way and see what 10 others did not see?
- 38:26Speaker 1: No wonder the Bible said he had another spirit. When
- 38:29Speaker 1: you see what others cannot see, you can do what
- 38:34Speaker 1: others cannot do. Glory to God. I'm going to say
- 38:37Speaker 1: it again for the people in the back. When you
- 38:39Speaker 1: see what others cannot see, you can do what others
- 38:43Speaker 1: cannot do. Good God Almighty. Type it on the line.
- 38:46Speaker 1: When you see what others cannot see, you can do
- 38:50Speaker 1: what others cannot do. Caleb had another spirit. And the
- 38:54Speaker 1: Bible said that because Caleb had another spirit, God blessed him.
- 39:00Speaker 1: God will bless you if you're willing to be different.
- 39:03Speaker 1: If you step out from the herd, if you get
- 39:06Speaker 1: away from the pack, if you're willing to be ostracized,
- 39:09Speaker 1: if you're willing to be cussed out, if you're willing
- 39:11Speaker 1: to be cast down, God will bless you. Not somebody
- 39:19Speaker 1: tell him, I got another spirit. I got another spirit.
- 39:21Speaker 1: The devil don't know who he's fooling with. I got
- 39:24Speaker 1: another spirit. I got another spirit. I was cut off
- 39:27Speaker 1: another piece of material. I got another spirit. I'm not
- 39:30Speaker 1: trying to be like you I'm not trying to fit
- 39:33Speaker 1: in with you I'm not trying to win you I
- 39:35Speaker 1: am who I am you like me or you don't
- 39:38Speaker 1: this is it check it out it is what it
- 39:43Speaker 1: is My God, can you feel the anointing that's in
- 39:49Speaker 1: this place? Can you feel the anointing? Somebody's faith is
- 39:52Speaker 1: leaping up and down in their belly. Somebody's getting a
- 39:55Speaker 1: witness down in their soul. Somebody's getting a confirming word
- 39:59Speaker 1: on the stream. Somebody's getting the confidence to go where
- 40:02Speaker 1: they've never gone before. And everybody says you're a fool,
- 40:05Speaker 1: but you're willing to be called a fool and laugh
- 40:08Speaker 1: at because you have faith. another spirit. And God said
- 40:12Speaker 1: he's going to give you a voice that will silence
- 40:14Speaker 1: your enemy, that will silence your critics, that will silence
- 40:18Speaker 1: your opposition, that will silence your store. God said when
- 40:22Speaker 1: you open your mouth, he's going to shut them up.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Not somebody that say I'm outnumbered. but I'm all right.
- 40:44Speaker 1: And give God a praise. I'm outnumbered, but I'm all right.
- 40:51Speaker 1: I'm outnumbered, but I'm all right. I'm outnumbered, but I'm
- 40:56Speaker 1: all right. Serena, I've always been outnumbered, but I've always
- 41:01Speaker 1: been all right. I'm outnumbered, but I still believe that
- 41:06Speaker 1: God's word is true. If you got the spirit of Caleb,
- 41:11Speaker 1: give me three seconds of Holy Ghost
- 41:36Speaker 1: Can I feed you just a little bit more?
- 41:48Speaker 1: Sit down, sit down. I want to feed you just
- 41:49Speaker 1: a little bit more. I'm running out of time, but
- 41:52Speaker 1: I feel something. But I feel something. But I feel something.
- 41:55Speaker 1: And I feel something about to break. And I feel
- 41:57Speaker 1: something about to break in the spirit world. And when
- 41:59Speaker 1: it breaks in the spirit world, it's going to break
- 42:01Speaker 1: in every area of your life. When it breaks in
- 42:03Speaker 1: your belly, you're going to flood your situation. When it
- 42:07Speaker 1: breaks in your heart, it's going to renew you. Oh,
- 42:10Speaker 1: my God. Somebody's praying for me and I can feel it.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Somebody's got my back because I can feel your hand
- 42:16Speaker 1: in my back pushing me forward. I'm going to break
- 42:18Speaker 1: this yoke before I sit down. I'm going to break it.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Let me move on, I gotta hear. Traditional Jewish scholars
- 42:45Speaker 1: record a number of stories and theories about Caleb, which
- 42:48Speaker 1: expand on the biblical account. It expands on it in
- 42:51Speaker 1: many significant ways. One account records that Caleb wanted to
- 42:55Speaker 1: bring produce from the land, but the other spies discouraged
- 42:58Speaker 1: him from bringing the produce from the land to avoid
- 43:01Speaker 1: giving the Israelites a positive impression of Canaan. So the
- 43:07Speaker 1: spies were arguing, how much do we show them? If
- 43:13Speaker 1: we show them how much they can have, they're going
- 43:17Speaker 1: to get excited about possessing the land. Only Caleb wanted
- 43:23Speaker 1: to expose them to what's next. There are very few
- 43:27Speaker 1: men that are confident enough in who they are to
- 43:31Speaker 1: expose you to what's next. Caleb pulled out his sword
- 43:36Speaker 1: and got ready to fight. He said, I'm not going
- 43:38Speaker 1: back empty handed. We got to show them something. And
- 43:41Speaker 1: they argued about it and they almost went to blows
- 43:44Speaker 1: about it. And the historian said that they settled on
- 43:47Speaker 1: the fact That they would at least show them the grapes.
- 43:52Speaker 1: So they pulled, check this out, a cluster of grapes.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Now I know what a cluster of grapes is. I
- 43:59Speaker 1: have eaten a cluster of grapes. But this cluster of
- 44:02Speaker 1: grapes was so big that it took two men to
- 44:06Speaker 1: be able to carry it. And the Lord told me
- 44:09Speaker 1: to tell you that what he has for you... It's
- 44:13Speaker 1: not what you saw at the grocery store. It's not
- 44:16Speaker 1: what you saw in the magazine. But it's so big,
- 44:19Speaker 1: it's going to take two men to carry back one cluster. Now,
- 44:32Speaker 1: street people say, this is going to be big. This
- 44:33Speaker 1: is going to be big. This is going to be big.
- 44:36Speaker 1: This is going to be big. I can tell by
- 44:38Speaker 1: the giants. I can tell by the fight. I can
- 44:41Speaker 1: tell by the sickness. I can tell by the struggle.
- 44:44Speaker 1: I can tell by the demonic attack that's been launched
- 44:47Speaker 1: against me. Whatever God is about to do, it's going
- 44:50Speaker 1: to be bigger than I could imagine. It's going to
- 44:52Speaker 1: be greater than I could ever conceive. It's going to
- 44:55Speaker 1: be exceedingly abundantly above all the exceedingly abundantly above all
- 45:00Speaker 1: that I exceedingly abundantly above all that I could. I
- 45:03Speaker 1: got to get ready. I can't get ready for grocery
- 45:06Speaker 1: store grapes. If I've got grapes so big that it's
- 45:10Speaker 1: going to take two men. And Caleb wanted to bring
- 45:18Speaker 1: more produce. But because the ten spies did not want
- 45:23Speaker 1: to incite the people to possess the land, they discouraged him.
- 45:30Speaker 1: He fought them back and at least got to show
- 45:33Speaker 1: them the grapes. I want to talk to somebody. You
- 45:37Speaker 1: don't know all the details yet, but you have seen
- 45:39Speaker 1: the grapes on what's next in your life. Every person
- 45:43Speaker 1: who's dragging some grapes that are prophetic to where you're going,
- 45:48Speaker 1: give him a moment of praise in this place. Yes,
- 45:56Speaker 1: I see the grapes. I see the grapes. It's heavy,
- 46:01Speaker 1: but I'm carrying the grapes. It's bigger than I expected,
- 46:05Speaker 1: but I'm carrying the grapes. I got to go into
- 46:08Speaker 1: a partnership, but I'm carrying the grapes. I had to
- 46:12Speaker 1: open up a limited liability partnership, but I'm carrying the grapes.
- 46:16Speaker 1: What God is getting ready to do for you, you
- 46:19Speaker 1: can't do it by yourself. You've gone as far as
- 46:23Speaker 1: you can go by yourself. These grapes are big. These
- 46:28Speaker 1: grapes are big. These grapes are big. These grapes are big.
- 46:34Speaker 1: These grapes are big. These grapes are big. The devil
- 46:38Speaker 1: don't like it. Hell don't like it. The witch don't
- 46:42Speaker 1: like it. Your body is fighting you. Your health is
- 46:45Speaker 1: fighting you. But the devil is alive. If I gotta
- 46:49Speaker 1: drag it back... So I went a little deeper and
- 47:18Speaker 1: I started reading the Midrash. And the Midrash is a
- 47:22Speaker 1: commentary on Old Testament theology that includes both the written
- 47:29Speaker 1: and all interpretations of of the scriptures and it's called
- 47:34Speaker 1: the midrash and when you read the midrash it opens
- 47:36Speaker 1: up insight that Caleb is fully devoted to the Lord
- 47:41Speaker 1: and to Moses until you can be faithful to that
- 47:46Speaker 1: which pertains to another man you can never have your
- 47:49Speaker 1: home until you can work in somebody else's house as
- 47:53Speaker 1: if it were your house you can't conceive what God
- 47:57Speaker 1: can do in your life somebody give me more time
- 48:02Speaker 1: I feel the Holy Ghost about to break a yoke.
- 48:05Speaker 1: And when the yoke is broken, the blessings are going
- 48:09Speaker 1: to flood your life. Get ready to swim in it.
- 48:13Speaker 1: Get ready for it to overshadow you. Get ready for
- 48:16Speaker 1: the power of God to come down in your life.
- 48:23Speaker 1: So the midrash there said he was wholly devoted to
- 48:26Speaker 1: the Lord and to Moses. Splitting from the scouts. He
- 48:31Speaker 1: also went over into Hebron on his own and visited
- 48:35Speaker 1: the graves of the patriarchs to remind himself of what
- 48:41Speaker 1: he came from. Whenever I get in a fight, I
- 48:47Speaker 1: go back in my past and tell the devil, you're
- 48:51Speaker 1: not fighting the T.D. Jakes they know. You're fighting the
- 48:55Speaker 1: storefront T.D. Jakes. You're fighting the T.D. Jakes that was
- 48:59Speaker 1: preaching and frying chicken and selling dinners to keep the
- 49:02Speaker 1: church doors open. You're fighting the country T.D. Jakes that
- 49:06Speaker 1: preached with a towel wrapped around his neck, that left
- 49:09Speaker 1: wet spots in the floor. And not only that, you're
- 49:13Speaker 1: fighting my mother. You're fighting my grandmother. You're fighting my grandfather.
- 49:19Speaker 1: You're fighting my great-great-grandfather. All of my ancestors are standing
- 49:25Speaker 1: up here preaching with me. All of my ancestors You're
- 49:30Speaker 1: fighting all of Mississippi. All of Alabama. You're fighting Nigeria.
- 49:36Speaker 1: You're fighting Ghana. You're fighting the West Coast. All of
- 49:41Speaker 1: my ancestors are down inside of me. People who survived.
- 49:58Speaker 1: Against all adversity. People who ran away and threw balls
- 50:04Speaker 1: of cornbread at the dogs that were chasing them. And
- 50:08Speaker 1: that's why they're called hush puppies. because it would hush
- 50:12Speaker 1: the puppy long enough for them to run. You can't
- 50:16Speaker 1: handle this. I'll throw bread in your face. I'll shut
- 50:20Speaker 1: up your barking. I'll run through the woods. I'll weave
- 50:25Speaker 1: rice in my hair and live off the rice. You're
- 50:28Speaker 1: fighting everything I came from. So the Midrash said, I'm
- 50:43Speaker 1: almost there. Don't let me go. Because I'm just not
- 50:46Speaker 1: getting to the part of life. Took me a while
- 50:50Speaker 1: to get there. The Midrash said that Caleb had a
- 50:54Speaker 1: voice that was so loud that when they got ready
- 50:58Speaker 1: to get the grapes, they had to drive off the
- 51:01Speaker 1: sons of Anak. And Caleb shouted so loud that the
- 51:06Speaker 1: giants ran. And the Holy Ghost said to me, tell
- 51:10Speaker 1: my people, you can bring it down with a shout.
- 51:26Speaker 1: If you open your mouth, the giants will run. If
- 51:30Speaker 1: you open your mouth, the wall will crumble. If you shout,
- 51:36Speaker 1: God's giving you a voice. Caleb had a strong voice.
- 51:41Speaker 1: That's why he shut up the enemy. Stop being quiet.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Stop being cute. Stop being polite. Pull your earrings off.
- 51:50Speaker 1: Open up your mouth. Take off your shoes. This means war.
- 51:56Speaker 1: Never this means war. Shall ye? Shall ye? I dare
- 52:05Speaker 1: you to shall yes! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! My God,
- 52:46Speaker 1: I feel the Holy Ghost about to take over this church.
- 52:50Speaker 1: I feel the Spirit of God speaking to somebody in
- 52:53Speaker 1: this room. I feel demons running for exit doors because
- 52:58Speaker 1: somebody opened their mouth. I feel cancer fleeing the building
- 53:04Speaker 1: because somebody opened their mouth. I feel the power. Oh, yeah.
- 53:22Speaker 1: I'm getting ready to shout. I'm getting ready to scream.
- 53:27Speaker 1: I'm getting ready to holler. I'm getting ready to go
- 53:31Speaker 1: to war. You can't have my stuff. You can't have
- 53:35Speaker 1: my peace. You can't have my joy. Glory to God.
- 53:44Speaker 1: Glory to God. Glory to God. Give me 30 seconds
- 53:49Speaker 1: of Holy Ghost shout music. Sing divine deliverance. Shout of emotion. Emotion.
- 53:58Speaker 1: I got a feeling. Glory. Now. Yes, sir! How? How? Yes, Lord! Yes, Lord! Yes,
- 54:21Speaker 1: in the balcony! Yes, on the back row! Yes, on
- 54:25Speaker 1: the musicians! Yes, in the pool bed! Open your mouth
- 54:30Speaker 1: and shout! Woo! Yanko! Yanko! Yanko! Yanko! Desire! Woo! Give
- 55:12Speaker 1: him a praise in this place. Oh, glory. Oh, glory. Oh, glory. Glory, glory, glory. Glory, glory, glory. Glory, glory, glory.
- 55:32Speaker 1: I see the warriors. Glory, glory, glory. I see the warriors. Glory, glory, glory.
- 55:36Speaker 1: I see warriors all over this room. I see warriors
- 55:40Speaker 1: that ain't going to take it laying down. Hallelujah. You
- 55:43Speaker 1: will open your mouth and shout. You're outnumbered. But the
- 55:47Speaker 1: power is in your mouth. You shall have whatever you say. Yeah, Lord.
- 56:03Speaker 1: I'm going to say this and I'm going to stop.
- 56:06Speaker 1: I think. Caleb is the son of Jephthah and Jephthah
- 56:22Speaker 1: ancestors were Kenizzites and the Kenizzites dwelt in Canaan and
- 56:29Speaker 1: the reason he went to the tombs of the patriarchs
- 56:33Speaker 1: was to remind himself that this is my natural habitat.
- 56:39Speaker 1: It might feel strange, but this is the land of
- 56:43Speaker 1: my forefathers. And when he began to remind himself that
- 56:53Speaker 1: these grapes are normal, To who I am, they might
- 57:03Speaker 1: feel heavy, but the normal... Oh, I feel like preaching
- 57:08Speaker 1: so bad. To who I am, it might feel strange,
- 57:13Speaker 1: but it's normal. To where I came from, until you
- 57:18Speaker 1: think you have a right to be blessed, the devil
- 57:21Speaker 1: will talk you out of being blessed. But I came
- 57:24Speaker 1: to serve notice. Devil, you a liar. Ha, ha, ha.
- 57:28Speaker 1: This is my stuff. I ain't gonna let you have
- 57:32Speaker 1: my stuff. This is my house. You may be living
- 57:36Speaker 1: in it, but it's my house. Suddenly I understood why
- 57:46Speaker 1: Caleb had a different report. He had a different perspective.
- 57:55Speaker 1: He had a different perspective. He had a perspective of ownership,
- 58:01Speaker 1: not stewardship. The tombs reminded him of his story, of
- 58:10Speaker 1: his ancestry, that the only reason you're in this mess
- 58:15Speaker 1: is that the enemy is sitting on your land. And
- 58:20Speaker 1: we're not stealing from them. They're squatters. All of the Canaanites,
- 58:27Speaker 1: all of the Hittites, all of the Jebusites had come
- 58:31Speaker 1: in since Abram had left. They're squatters on my land.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Give me my stuff back. Give me my house back.
- 58:39Speaker 1: Give me my peace back. Give me my joy back.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Give me my family back. Give me my child back.
- 58:47Speaker 1: Are you crazy? That's my child. Everybody standing. The amazing
- 59:05Speaker 1: thing was this. You see, 10 spies brought back what
- 59:15Speaker 1: the Bible says was an evil report. But it didn't
- 59:19Speaker 1: say that they were lying. They were not lying. Evil
- 59:31Speaker 1: doesn't always lie. The ten spies were reporting the facts.
- 59:43Speaker 1: The facts were the Jebusites dwell in the land and
- 59:49Speaker 1: the Gerishites dwell in the mountains and the Canaanites are
- 59:55Speaker 1: down by the river. The facts were we also saw
