- 6:51[SPEAKER_13]: This is the hotline the show of shows.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_13]: on a kind of a little bit of a snowy Tuesday and it is veterans day that's right veterans day the 11th hour 11th day yeah and president Trump at this hour is speaking at Arlington two died for us
- 7:08[SPEAKER_03]: So bravely in battle today, we remember with overwhelming gratitude the more than one million American service members who have made the supreme sacrifice and laid down their lives for the good old USA generation after generation America's warriors have left behind the comforts of home and family to face violence, evil, and death so that our families could
- 7:36[SPEAKER_03]: We honor them so strongly.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_03]: Our heroes have lived through one thinkable night bears, so we could live dream, and the American dream is coming back again.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_03]: Stronger than ever before, and you'll see.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, that's President Trump speaking.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_13]: Ed Arlington National Cemetery right now.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_13]: In that interesting, I kind of dipped right into it because it's breaking, wow, what a concept, what a concept.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_13]: Anyway, I was listening to CBS News a moment ago, and they said that a group of people from Hollywood Spike Lee and some others have been invited to meet with the Pope this weekend.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_13]: Well, that's nice.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_13]: And among the names that the CBS News anchor Red Off was Vigol Mortensen, who went to Watertown High School as a strong ties to this area.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_13]: So I said to myself, ah, local guy to meet the Pope, been invited to meet the Pope this weekend.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know too many local guys who were invited to meet Pope Leo this weekend.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_13]: So I texted John Moore, of course.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_13]: But yeah, that's interesting.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_13]: I've never met Vigal Mortensen.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_13]: My loss.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_13]: And Hopey and Joyce is tripped to the Vatican, to the Holy See, if you will.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_13]: Tell the Pope Lee or said hello from the hotline.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, a reverent.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_13]: Hello a very reverent.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_13]: Hello.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_13]: What else is going on?
- 9:12[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, if you see a vet, say thank you.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_13]: You know who I got to get a hold of today is that.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_13]: Remember the shank lad having son Mike.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I think he's working for Walls X office.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_13]: Now I got to get a
- 9:29[SPEAKER_13]: problem.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_13]: I'm having with a state agency that's out of their minds.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_13]: And so we'll see if I can get a hold of him this afternoon.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_13]: Well, Scott Grease, nuclear thing, is tomorrow night at KCC.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_13]: That's a great topic.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_13]: I think he's on the right track there in the end.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know if
- 9:54[SPEAKER_13]: What, Hockel, Governor Hockel's going to do with nuclear power?
- 9:58[SPEAKER_13]: I think, at least to find a guest to take a more, instead of talking about, once she's talking about, she's got to take a stronger stand on energy.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_13]: This natural gas, it's too cold.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_13]: There's the trillion dollars in natural gas we're sitting on that we can't get through because of the ban on fracking.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_13]: And then the other side of it, I talked to people every day, but what is this ban on,
- 10:19[SPEAKER_13]: I'm using natural gas and propane at home and new homes and all of that in my furnace breaks next year.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_13]: Can I get a new natural gas furnace and what if I put up a little hunting camp somewhere in the middle of nowhere and I want to put a propane heater in there.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_13]: Can I get it?
- 10:35[SPEAKER_13]: Can I even get the propane delivered?
- 10:37[SPEAKER_13]: Nobody seems to know they passed these laws but nobody seems to know.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, if you're building over seven stores, you can use natural gas.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_13]: Well, that's all we know.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I assume on January 2nd, if you call National Grid and say I'd like a gas ladder, I'll put into this lot, they're going to say no, it's nuts, absolutely nuts, and that's the kind of nonsense out of Albany that we need to be pointing out.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_13]: Now, I'm not saying they're going to do a couple.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_13]: I supported their school cell phone ban.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_13]: I think that was fine.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_13]: your recruiters on it, but there's other stuff it is just mind-boggling all these agencies and what they do to small business and you know some of them it's like a scam.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah you can work these agencies and they just do whatever you want to give you a finding a probable cause when there's no investigation or anything.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_13]: It's amazing what goes on in state government when it comes to being anti-business.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_13]: And I think we've got to have more people.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_13]: I know I'm going to speak out about it more in the weeks and months to come.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_13]: Uh, let's see.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_13]: I want one of these new robots.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_13]: Just see those things that musk is coming out with.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_13]: Ah, they would need.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_13]: Uh, and they're going to be affordable.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_13]: And it looks like they do a lot of things.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know whether the videos they show whether it's really a person in that suit or not.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_13]: It seems like they're too nimble.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_13]: But, boy, they need absolute Tesla, Tesla robots, yeah.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_13]: I think everybody's gonna want one.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_13]: You know, this is one of those instances where you say, Jesus, I wish I was 30 years younger, so I could be in an age where you could go out and buy one of those.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_13]: Because most of us, you know, who are old and miserable, lonely, and all of that, just having something around the house that moves.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_13]: You know, I'm a cat or a dog, that's one thing.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_13]: a robot that the uh... you're going to see them in a lot of adult care facilities because we don't have people you know to keep people company anymore and uh... you're going to see a lot of those in there people can talk to do whatever uh... so that's something i'd like with the golf court what was discussed at city council they were discussing
- 13:16[SPEAKER_13]: when property taxes are overdue just going to go right to a foreclosure thing or something.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_13]: I didn't they were they had two lawyers there on the clock.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_13]: Yacken with the only asking ninety seven questions per hour and it was just like most of the stuff they should have known as members of council what happens when you don't pay your taxes.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_13]: I mean I knew that I guess it's going to change.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_13]: Only had to do was go down the second floor and say what's this proposed change.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_13]: And city's getting a new phone system.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_13]: Council found out last night for the first time.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_13]: New phones.
- 13:54[UNKNOWN]: Mm-hmm.
- 13:54[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_13]: What's wrong with the old phones?
- 13:57[SPEAKER_13]: What's wrong with it?
- 13:59[SPEAKER_13]: And they're getting new data processing software.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_13]: Huh, get rid of that old Univac computer on the second floor.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_13]: What else have we got going on?
- 14:09[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, the golf course was discussed last night.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_13]: much discussion, no decision.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_13]: The council was offered three alternatives for how to run it.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_13]: One, basically, with a manager all the way, it was one sort of just to get by and one just sort of a self-serve course.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know what they're going to do.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, obviously, the profit loss from the season just completed was better, but I just tuned on the new news.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_13]: And the first headline is,
- 14:40[SPEAKER_13]: uh... well counsel finds out how much the golf course will lose that's kind of phrase the allergy that they gotta get away from we have a lot of facilities that you quote lose money on that's why they're government entities uh... there were a lot of ideas on how to uh...
- 15:03[SPEAKER_13]: Run it better, but I, you know, they got to get some new carts, they got to do a lot of things, and it's just a service, it's something that's provided, like a pool, like a tennis court.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_13]: How much does the tennis courts in Thompson Park lose every year?
- 15:18[SPEAKER_13]: Well, let's die and rebad headline on here.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_13]: You know, it's part of the overall panoply of services.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_13]: If we can run it better, we should try to find ways to run it better.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_13]: someone who lives in the house up there.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_13]: Take the zoo back from that conservancy.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_13]: I don't even know who they are.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_13]: Take it back.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_13]: Take it back.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_13]: Run.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_13]: We can figure the zoo out of the mayor's plans.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_13]: Promote the park.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_13]: The zoo, the golf course, year round.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_13]: You could have a little January potting contest or something to keep it in the public eye.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_13]: Early bird specials.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_13]: There's a lot of things you could do if you were marketing it.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_13]: I suggested that young lady used to be a seven that Emily Griffa thought was very smart.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know her.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_13]: I only met her once, but her work on the air was great.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know why they got rid of her.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_13]: Big loss.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I know why they got rid of her, but no, that was a loss.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_13]: She's very talented.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_13]: And to make sure the parks are, I think would be a great idea.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_13]: And you get the house thrown in.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_13]: You get the live up there too.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_13]: 755.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_13]: Well, 40 the phone number.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_13]: If you'd like to give us a call, those are some ideas, some observations and everything else.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_13]: Why don't we take time out on this veterans day?
- 16:40[SPEAKER_13]: And remember veterans say hi to a veteran and say thank you to a veteran on this 11th day of the 11th month.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_13]: Be back with more in a moment.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_17]: Around the corner, around the continent, around
- 16:59[SPEAKER_23]: Hey, I'm Ken Corona and this winter, I'm ready because I just found my new home right here at FX Capra Honda.

- 17:11[SPEAKER_23]: One minute, it's clear skies.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_23]: The next, you're buried in a white-out.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_23]: Snow piled high in the driveway, tire spinning.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_23]: Can't even see the end of your hood.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_23]: That's when you realize you need something dependable.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_23]: Something that starts every morning, Clostro the drips, and gets you where you're going.

- 20:21[SPEAKER_13]: Maybe he'll call back.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_13]: I got caught up in the phone call during the break and I, well, he was going to call.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_13]: Maybe he wasn't listening at the moment.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_13]: I can get his number here.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_13]: Well, he works.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_13]: So we're unlike the rest of us.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_13]: So,
- 20:38[SPEAKER_13]: Um, there's this number.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_13]: Well, let me try him here.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_13]: We'll try him.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_13]: I won't say his number over the air.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_13]: No.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_13]: Well, you must have got all the way from the phone.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_13]: Well, we'll try to catch up with Russ later.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_13]: He had some observations, you know, the whole thing yesterday, and I know some of you say, well, you have no business being a political savourant or being a Fred Dicker of Watertown.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_13]: In the absence of anyone else, I do, but you know, we really thought that Scott Gray was going to run for Congress.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_13]: All the indications, the T-Leaves, if you will, of politics, the fundraisers, the trips, the coin, that's all of that.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_13]: And then all of a sudden, but he comes on the hotlines and I'm not running, now, me
- 21:36[SPEAKER_13]: But Rust thinks he and others are being pushed out of the race because they've decided, I guess, they're paving away for this Josh Parker from Canton.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_13]: He had a business that something to do with maple syrup.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_13]: They had maple syrup popcorn, maple syrup, cotton candy, all of a sudden.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_13]: He got on Shark Tank.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_13]: the nationals, you know what shark tank it with the uh... mr. wonderful and all that yeah and the uh... so got on that and then he ended up selling his business but he got very involved he met in the course of things he met Charlie Kirk I had a uh... turning point us a they became good friends he became very involved in that organization got to know uh... mr. Kirk as well as his uh... life erica and uh... in fact mr. Kirk I think was best man at mr. Parker's wedding
- 22:35[SPEAKER_13]: Yes, and after the assassination, Mr. Parker went out to Arizona for the funeral.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_13]: So pretty tight, and I'm hearing he was, I listen to an interview he did with our friends at talk 100.7 in Utica, and he sounded like a candidate.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_13]: making the rounds i understand from talking other people he's uh... talking to people about running he's young at twenty eight but so was to find it for that matter so and there's talk that like even to find it is reposting some of his facebook stuff so it sounds like they might be clearing the way for them now he still would have to overcome the sticker bill but i think it won't want to one prime area the establishment could win that so i don't know
- 23:21[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, the media is kind of not interested over here.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_13]: I've read some stories from out east and Albany, that area.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know what to say.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_13]: I think the guy is sounds like he's running.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_13]: And if he brought, he got the blend, Jen to be in Guy, the Democrat.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_13]: He's running against some left-wing loon out of Gwen's falls for a primary.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_13]: Assuming he can win that, would you don't know in the Moundami era, whether he can win.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_13]: But,
- 23:52[SPEAKER_13]: If this parker ends up being the favorite of the Republican establishment, that means what's he get with it, he gets the whole turning point, organization, their access to money, which is significant, and he gets Fox News, his Fox News is falling coverage of turning point and Mr. Kirk.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, it's beyond just a tragedy and violence of the killing.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_13]: It's just constant every day.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_13]: So if the turning point had a congressional candidate running somewhere, it would be get heavy play on Fox.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_13]: It wouldn't not be other than that, but whatever.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know if the guy could win.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_13]: I don't even know him.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_13]: You know, Russia's in a big fan of his, but who knows?
- 24:42[SPEAKER_13]: Well, we'll no more when they tell us.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_13]: But it sounds to me like there's something going on there.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_13]: I tried to get a hold of, was it Ken Rosen?
- 24:52[SPEAKER_13]: Rosen?
- 24:52[SPEAKER_13]: Who was the host down there on the talk show in Unica?
- 24:56[SPEAKER_13]: He did the interview.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_13]: We're trying to get a hold of him.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_13]: I haven't heard back yet.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_13]: He's a nice guy.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, not a county GOP chair.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_13]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_10]: Good afternoon, Jeff.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_10]: It's the tough.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_10]: The politics thing is is because it's not until next year, so a lot of people who really earned all that interest rate this minute.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_13]: Now you're job to be interested in this mind.
- 25:22[UNKNOWN]: Well, yeah, I guess.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I mean, were you interested in the staphonic announcement?
- 25:29[SPEAKER_13]: Or do you want to be told about it next year?
- 25:31[SPEAKER_10]: No, I was glad to hear this year.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, well, we all knew she was going to, so that sent a big surprise.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_13]: Well, you know, since they move the the whole selection process and petition process up, where you're starting at the end of February, the old bromides about all that's next year don't worry about it or out the window.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_13]: You got to get organized and ready to go now.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_10]: Plus, they had to pick a lot of people don't get that, that the dust start that early.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_10]: And it's a shame that it does, but that's you know, they hold deal and that's a Schumer deal right there.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_10]: You know, and boy, how he looks bad, you know, I think of the real thing as this.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_10]: I don't see him last thing.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_13]: Well, he'll head last through this term through the end of next year.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_13]: Then the new Senate will not appoint him.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_13]: Major minority leader or majority, whatever they are.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know who would get that, but probably somebody we don't like.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_10]: You know what I've seen, I kind of feel I'm going to get a riddle of a lot of the old guards, you know, because they're in the right, whether they're electable or not, I don't know, but I just, I can see the writing on the wall for a lot of, even with the, uh, you think, Stony Hoyer might be out.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, yeah, I think a lot of those are going to be out because the new people taking over their radical and their, their, their, their vicious, the, the AOC, I mean, she's more of the responsible for the, um, shut down because Schumer was so afraid of her.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_13]: We love AOC here though.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_10]: I know you do.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_10]: I, you know, I, I looked, because I just got back yesterday and I, I looked at the, uh,
- 27:20[SPEAKER_10]: new shocky and I see in the background behind grace picture you got a picture a O.C.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_10]: in there.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I know it's subliminal.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, subliminal message ring.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_10]: There you go.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, but yeah, that's that whole deal there.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know, but you know, there's still people out there that think there are a few people in life that I think that the evener people that think that the whole shutdown was the Republicans when we all know was the
- 27:51[SPEAKER_10]: Senate finally came to their senses and a few of those people cross the lines.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I read about subliminal messaging.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_13]: There was a book out way, way, many years ago.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_13]: And on the cover it had an ice cube.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_13]: And
- 28:07[SPEAKER_13]: the supposition was that the words letters s c x were in the you know pattern in the ice and so on and it was a subliminal way of selling something and that goes on all the time with products so it really is true so placing a o c's picture right behind Scott Grease had and then having a news drunk he yeah I think it kind of is a subliminal thing yeah whether it's I mean a pair it's there's nothing well if you run for
- 28:37[SPEAKER_13]: Show get 40% in this county.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_10]: Somebody put that out there.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_10]: Just to get dealers on it.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_10]: And obviously, the core group, the people that vote in the primers, and you and I both know how important primers are, but a lot of people don't.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_10]: They don't vote.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_10]: But primers are probably more important in this general election.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_10]: But you've seen that in New York City because my name is the new guy now.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_13]: The new guy.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_10]: Read an article this morning where this race at one columnist feels the race is not between hokeland staphonic but it really comes down to a context between mom dominion trump and i i suppose you could make that analogy well they tried to make that in virginia uh... the thing is that uh... uh... when some seeers didn't have the money that uh... uh... no predecessor uh... as she she kept paying but
- 29:32[SPEAKER_13]: uh... you know are you it's hard to convince the people in rich men and no other virginia yeah republican you know and he was able to accomplish that but it was not it was not it was not it's not easy no it's not easy those those people are all yet that those are the places where all those high schools are they have trans people in you know guys in the girls locker rooms and all that stuff yeah yeah that's a different world hey listen you know if you go martinson don't you
- 30:01[SPEAKER_13]: Now he got invited now he not just showing up in Rome he was invited to meet with the Pope this weekend with a bunch of other Hollywood people um that's kind of an honor isn't it?
- 30:14[SPEAKER_13]: Oh sure that's yeah yeah he better be up on your white socks statistics and all that stuff but uh yeah that's kind of neat that that'd be an interesting news story if somebody could get a picture of Vigo Mortensen meeting with the Pope kind of I'd put that on the front page
- 30:32[SPEAKER_10]: Well, they get those, they have a, my sister met the Pope, the former Pope, and they take a photograph.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, yeah.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_10]: The Vatican saw, I mean, there's all kinds of documentation.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_10]: It'll be interesting.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_10]: It's out there, yeah.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_10]: It's easy enough to get it.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_10]: Especially if you're a newsperson, but Jeff, come on.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_10]: Now, you know what's going on here.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_10]: And what are the second people out there with that?
- 31:00[SPEAKER_13]: might have to get on the Vatican website and look at the picture already there something like that.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_13]: Um, but I would think you'd want to do that.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_13]: Um, I remember when at least the final got married.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_13]: And I thought that was a big deal, congressional wedding.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_13]: And I was there.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_13]: I'm not sure who to brag, but I was in Saratoga Springs.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_13]: And, you know, I took a couple of nice pictures, sent them to the Times and news junkie and got them printed and everything.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_13]: But there was no effort on their part.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_13]: If they hadn't been supplied by somebody, you
- 31:30[SPEAKER_13]: That's the way news is now.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_13]: If it knocks on our door, but we don't go out and get it.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_09]: Well, I think they do.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_09]: I think they use the internet a lot.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_13]: Well, that's where you would get the picture of Vigo Mortensen and the Holy Father, Pope Leo.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_10]: In seven does a lot with the national, so they'll leave with a national story, you know, and a half hour you're going to see it on there.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I don't know who watches CBS News anymore, but I see it.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_13]: Well, you've seen those stories, yeah, I mean, a bill passed to end the shutdown.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_13]: That happened last night.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_13]: Why is it the lead at noon?
- 32:04[SPEAKER_13]: You know, tell us about the council meeting last night.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_13]: Tell us about something that happened up here.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, it is.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_13]: Whatever happened to the local news is what?
- 32:15[SPEAKER_10]: I remember it.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_10]: It's done for minutes now.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_13]: I don't have to be.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_13]: they should get old skyd-edkins and dust them off take them off the shelf and tell me go do some political stories uh... but you would never much of a political guy either no no i mean he was fair but he was a lefty there's no doubt about it uh... no i mean he just said that was the thing i don't think i mean you you uh... you were a public television and that's happened you were into the politics of yeah
- 32:51[SPEAKER_13]: Well, you just don't see it now.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_13]: There isn't much interest in it.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_13]: I would say a majority of people in the newsroom on our kids who don't vote.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_10]: Well, they don't care about politics.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_10]: I don't think that much either.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_10]: You know, it comes really up and offers itself to them.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_10]: Or you call and say, hey, so it's all in town.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_10]: I can make arrangements to get them off of your place.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, or...
- 33:14[SPEAKER_10]: It's more or less how it works, right?
- 33:16[SPEAKER_13]: You know, I could call them and say,
- 33:22[SPEAKER_13]: And I don't think it'd get covered because it's on competing media.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_13]: That's kind of the way that everybody is in this town.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_13]: I think if it's, hey, listen, if Channel 7 has a scoop, I, you know, attribute it and run it and all that stuff.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_13]: I'm not a newsman, per se, but I, you know, certainly give people a credit or if there's something in the times, or on news junkie or anywhere else.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_10]: But you haven't had any, but I don't read the times, but you don't, I don't think they have a political person anymore in the one
- 33:51[SPEAKER_10]: was, you know, one sided anyway.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_10]: That's why I stopped getting the paper.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_13]: I remember the old days of, I remember the days of Alan Emory in the Washington Bureau.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_13]: By God, that was, because when I went to the 92 DNC at the garden, and that was one Bill Clinton was nominated at, I remember Alan Emory was there, and he did a little piece on me being there as Mayor
- 34:21[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, the war's on daily times had a lot of influence Mm-hmm.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_10]: We'll back in the day and it's unfortunate.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_10]: They don't know.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_13]: Well, nobody does anything.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_10]: It's brothers and all that kind of stuff.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, yeah.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_10]: You know, they're all tightest texts, you know.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_13]: Exactly.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I've re-subscribed it with the other day.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_13]: I'm not a bitter person, uh, but bitter.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_10]: I'm not going to get, I'm not going to read something.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_10]: It just gives me upset because I know there's another side to it.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_10]: I want to hear both sides or I want to hear a fair side.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_10]: And you know I hate it when somebody takes a side.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, and that's all they give you.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_10]: You know, it'd be like watching MSNBC or something.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, so the headline is Pope invites local man to Vatican.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I think there's a headline there don't you.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, or Gido goes to Rome.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_13]: Well, yeah, it's not like you, you just went to the Vatican Square to see what's going on.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_13]: And the Pope will be able to drove by and you got to, you know, maybe a high five from because you had a white socks hat on or something.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, no, that's not it.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_13]: No, this is an invitation from the Holy Father to Mr. Mortonson.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, because I am, that's connected as I am and it's wonderful as I am.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_13]: There's been no pope in my lifetime.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_13]: We invited me to the Vatican.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_13]: I did see a pope.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_13]: I was at the first John Paul was up and out of one.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_13]: I remember covering it.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, you could see him from a distance in the pope but we didn't talk or anything.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_13]: But my Latin was a little off.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_13]: Well, this new pope you can talk because he's a Chicago white socks fan.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_13]: So you know, he can talk like the rest of us.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, it's not that that halting English that previous Pope had, which was, you know, I understand.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_13]: And when you're speaking 20 languages, you can't do them all perfectly.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_13]: But uh, uh, something you aren't flying anywhere, are you?
- 36:23[SPEAKER_13]: Duff.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_10]: I did.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_10]: I had to take the long way back, supposedly there was a launch in the golf.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_10]: So I did.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_10]: We had to kind of bypass that and go around.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_13]: So you're back in water town right now, or are you down there?
- 36:35[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_10]: We flew from where we went to the Dominican for a week.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_10]: Oh my god, it's probably all the way around.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_13]: It's going over to Haiti too?
- 36:45[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, but it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, it's, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 37:03[SPEAKER_17]: just don't say it off and enough.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_17]: Thank you for listening to the station that listens to you.

- 42:34[SPEAKER_11]: You're going to have to do in Japan to comment on an article in the local media here recently that said that less than 25% of the registered voters in Jefferson County actually voted in the last election.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_11]: And less than 25% of the registered voters within the municipality of Watertown voted in the last election.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_11]: And I find that to be a really sad statement and so many people complain about this and
- 43:04[SPEAKER_11]: But if they don't vote, I don't think they have any right to, to, to complain.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_11]: And then voting has never been easier than it is now.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_11]: We have all this early voting and absentee ballots and, mm-hmm, very easy.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_11]: You know, you, you and I are of the age where we had one day to vote that was it.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_11]: And that now you've got the, all this ability to vote.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_11]: It doesn't, you know.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_13]: I don't want to hear it if we had a listener who said, well, why don't they have drive-through voting?
- 43:35[SPEAKER_13]: I said no, it's easy enough now.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_13]: You don't need that.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_13]: You know, you want coffee drive-through.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_11]: I just wanted to express my dismay, it does, those figures, I think it's really, it's disgusting, yeah.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_13]: And you get a voter of turn like that, it's pretty, pretty poor, but keep up the good work there at one in the night.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_13]: Thank you.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I might say that, um,
- 43:56[SPEAKER_13]: most of the people who run around talking about our democracy they don't vote they're too lazy their bombs they are bombs uh... anyways this week a little more on the pope here uh... the pope is revealed his four favorite movies you know what they are i like network i was thought that was a great but not the pope liked the nineteen forty six frank capra classic it's a wonderful life i'm sure you'll be watching at this holiday season
- 44:27[SPEAKER_13]: He liked Julie Andrews and the sound of music in 1965.

- 44:43[SPEAKER_13]: 1997, Italian actor Robert Benini stars as a Jewish father who used humor and imagination to protect his son from the worst of the Holocaust.

- 44:56[SPEAKER_13]: of, um, hopefully, oh, okay.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_13]: Just thought you'd be interested, you know, the things you learn here on the hotline, just by tuning in every day.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_13]: We have a, we caught a wide swath.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_13]: When it comes to information here.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_13]: Mega millions, big jackpot there, you know, I always ask this question, so I'll ask it again.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_13]: It's like 800, 900 million, million a claim.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_13]: But after you get the cash value, which is the real prize minus taxes, in New York, you'd get 216 million.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_13]: Now, that's still a healthy hunk of change.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_13]: Don't get me wrong.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_13]: And I, you know, what if I had that check for 216 million, and I drove up to the drive-in, drive-up window on dividend drive, and handed that, I don't think they would flinch it all.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_13]: They'd just say, morning, Mr. Graham, and just deposit it.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_13]: sure they'd love to have a 216 million dollar deposit in one day.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_13]: Can they do that?
- 46:05[SPEAKER_13]: I know they have to have a certain amount of reserve.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_13]: There's also it's at rules of the Treasury Department stuff, but if you just need to, I know it's not FDIC and sure, but you need a place to park that money until you decide what to do with it.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_13]: uh... one thing i do with two hundred sixteen million is i would pay for everything at times in park and run it the way i want to run it okay yeah no more arguing no more arguing all righty seven five five twelve forty are from number if you'd like to give us a a hoot and a holler to be on the air the show of shows and uh... what else have we got here uh... but let's about it

- 49:43[SPEAKER_13]: when Mr. Lavain Ray brought him over, he would change your flight.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_13]: Um, if I had that much money in the bank, but other, I don't expect that to have one plate is fine, really.

- 50:07[SPEAKER_13]: We haven't gotten any reports from the hinterlands, out in Barnes corners, but as of yesterday,
- 50:14[SPEAKER_13]: Nothing too big.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_13]: Um...
- 50:19[SPEAKER_13]: I got my picture on news junkie.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_13]: Isn't that nice?
- 50:23[SPEAKER_13]: Well, who's gonna be the next CBS News anchor?
- 50:26[SPEAKER_13]: Hmm.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_13]: John Moore, maybe?
- 50:32[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, let's see.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_13]: This new CBS News President Barry Weiss has taken over.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_13]: They're talking about a Mac, Matt, gutman over at ABC.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know him.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_13]: They talked about the guy from Fox, Brett Bear, but I guess they probably couldn't land him.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_13]: So, I don't know.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know who they're gonna put on the air.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_13]: But, nobody watches that.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_13]: Does anybody watch the network news anymore?
- 51:13[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, I genuinely don't.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_13]: I remember as a kid, you'd watch Cronkide or Huntley and Brinkley, Frank Riddles.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_13]: Remember, were there any assassination of Reagan thing there, or attempted to set in Frank Riddles?
- 51:28[SPEAKER_13]: Get both of them around, because they didn't know whether the press secretary was dead or dead.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_13]: They announced it as being dead, but he wasn't Brady.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, Mr. Brady.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_13]: So anyway, but now they got a new person in charge, Barry Weiss.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_13]: And she said, you know, I'll go get her, I guess, good for her.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_13]: making some changes.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_13]: Making some changes.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know, does it matter who the anchor is anymore?
- 51:54[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, I think John Moore, you know, John Moore could do the CBS evening news and do a good job.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_13]: Because he knows how to pronounce all the names and he knows who the people in the news are.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, if the teleprompter says President G and after a fanatic sprawling, he would know who President G is.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_13]: A lot of people read the news don't know what to hack the reading, they really don't.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_13]: So, it's a truth, it's a truth and you know, that's been going on for years.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_13]: Bubbleheaded bleach blonde comes on at five, sheltered out of plain crests with a gleam in her eye, and that was uh, downhandly back in the 70s, you know, in the good old days.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_13]: Alrighty.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_13]: Well, we've done our, all of our commercials, so we get some time leading up, we can talk
- 52:45[SPEAKER_13]: the weather if you prefer.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_13]: Um, show what it's going to be.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_13]: I'll look on my phone.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_13]: It's easier and trying to get this internet stuff up.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, let's see, weather.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_13]: Today it's 29 outside.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_13]: It feels like 13.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_13]: No, it feels like it's 29.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_13]: I today have a 33 pair of three.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_13]: It's going to be chilly.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_13]: Tomorrow, I have 40 in some rain.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_13]: So what's on the ground now?
- 53:10[SPEAKER_13]: Won't last.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_13]: Tonight's low will be 31.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_13]: 30 is the 41 and a 39 37 46 on Sunday and ain't picked in weather and a 37 43 and then in the 40s next week.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_13]: So yeah, I don't see anything dire coming our way in the next week or so.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_13]: Just a little be careful out there.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_13]: No doubt about it could be some ice could be a slippery spot.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_13]: Whatever.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_13]: Don't take it for granted.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_13]: But it's nice to be eased into
- 53:41[SPEAKER_13]: winter here, uh-huh.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_13]: Well, let's see what else is going on for this mom down.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_13]: Everything's catching on.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_13]: If they got, it's elected a self described 20 year old communist to their common council, the city council.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_13]: Well, that town is whacked.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_13]: I'll tell you.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_13]: right in the middle of the southern tier, but they are whacked down there, but pretty city that we call.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_13]: I went there for a wedding once, years and years and years ago.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_13]: Who is this communist Hannah?
- 54:21[SPEAKER_13]: Sure.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_13]: She events.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_13]: She says she's a communist.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_13]: Who's the say she is?
- 54:28[SPEAKER_13]: She's a student organizer.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, member of the communist party USA.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_13]: From the
- 54:37[SPEAKER_13]: cover is a western half of Cornell University's campus and I'll let figures.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_13]: She's a sophomore.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_13]: Wow, I can't believe it.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_13]: I'm like in communists now in upstate New York.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_13]: Well, we know she'll be voting for Hockel, right?
- 54:57[SPEAKER_13]: You bet you.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_13]: That's fascinating.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_13]: That'd be an interesting story to find out more about.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_13]: He's participated in numerous anti-Israel protests.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, well, she's an anti-Semite, too.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_13]: What are coincidence?
- 55:15[SPEAKER_13]: What are you?
- 55:17[SPEAKER_13]: Four of ten I think a common council sees were occupied by students, ahead of the election.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_13]: Man, can you imagine that?
- 55:24[SPEAKER_13]: They'll be spendin' there.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_13]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, man, how are you today?
- 55:29[SPEAKER_13]: Good!
- 55:31[SPEAKER_08]: give a shout-out to all the veterans out there so proud everyone that served wish I had why not wouldn't the accomplishment hmmm uh... i agree um... you're just speaking about communists hmmm speaking of like local communists isn't it nice that we're going into thanksgiving here and the city was never sued over a dog park isn't that nice
- 55:53[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, they've spent enough on lawyers last night trying to explain how tax sales certificates work to the council.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_13]: So I don't know.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_13]: I listen, I let's just leave that let that it let that sleeping dog lie.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, just let it go.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, because that all that does is it prompts him to call and then we're down that road.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_13]: I don't want to hear it.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_08]: I agree as long as never brought up by anyone ever again.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_13]: That's how much a fair bargain won't be brought up by me.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, fair, fair bargain.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_13]: So I'm not like when you were in school it was the draft still around or you just get out of the end of it before it happened or how that all worked out was the watch still around the draft it ended about a year or two before I got out I remember they had that lottery thing but it didn't affect me but it was right in that era but yeah what year did they end the draft it was like 70 years
- 56:52[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, somewhere in there, 72-34 somewhere in there, yeah.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I remember being a very young child and just like hearing the people that just just been listed because they're going to get drafted anyway, and then the draft weren't away, and they were sorry they'd done it.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_08]: But I tell you, we've had such a great military in this country, and we've had such a great military inflection in this area.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know how many come in Pearl Street or
- 57:18[SPEAKER_08]: would actually go around but we've got a good show of military here that have settled here but we had quite a few uh... we had a good night last night it was nice lot of people out i assume they were on i and i can i see you have uh... sue over bartending that's nice you get some new new blood in there that's always good yeah she does a good job nice that nice to keep things local but yeah just nice that we've had uh... absolutely uh... that's a substantial amount of military like settlement this area and i
- 57:50[SPEAKER_08]: and up settling here.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_08]: Maybe this is a better place than we think it is.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, apart.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_13]: Well, thank you.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_13]: You have a fantastic day.
- 57:59[UNKNOWN]: Bye-bye.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_13]: Bye now.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, and our staff treats people well.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_13]: So what else we got going on here?
- 58:06[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, it's a... Well, not too much else going on, really.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_13]: We're headed towards the middle of the week tomorrow.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_13]: Pretty soon thanksgiving will be uponish you know that's a incidentally that is a three-day week on the hotline We are off Thanksgiving day and Friday counselors are available and You know that type of thing, but to Spend some time with you and yours and all of that or do whatever you want to do Nobody does that black Friday and you know that's all done.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_13]: Do they still do the stupid news stories?
- 58:40[SPEAKER_13]: Black Friday
- 58:42[SPEAKER_13]: I don't even think they do those anymore.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_13]: The ones where you could repeat last year's story and just slap a new stand-up close on the new anchor.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_13]: Now, I don't even think those stories have done anymore because nobody does, nobody stands in line for a teeth, a discount TV set or beats anybody up at the front door of Walmart or any of that stuff anymore.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_13]: And it's too damn bad because we like those kind of new stories.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_13]: That's America.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_13]: They haven't, that's America right there.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_13]: So anyway,
- 59:10[SPEAKER_13]: Thanksgiving here sooner than you expect.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, and then Christmas, New Year, and another year.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_13]: All righty, well that's it for today's show.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_13]: It's been a pleasure.
- 59:22[SPEAKER_13]: We've had a great time.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_13]: And if Mr. Mortonson wants to call in tomorrow, he can tell us about how excited he is to go see the Pope on Saturday.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_13]: I know I'd be excited.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_13]: I won't be flipping about it.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I'd be excited.
- 59:41[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 59:41[SPEAKER_13]: Well, that's our show for today.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_13]: Glenn Curry will of course be in at five o'clock today on AM 1240 and you don't want to miss that.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_13]: You're listening to the hotline on the community broadcast through station.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_13]: We are AM 1240 or WATN.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_13]: We're in Watertown, New York.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_13]: And guess what?
- 59:57[SPEAKER_13]: The time is one o'clock and CBS news is coming up next.
