- 0:11Speaker 1: Welcome to Girls Gone Hallmark, a Homewark review podcast talking
- 0:14Speaker 1: PBS today. I'm Megan, I'm a longtime Hallmark fan. I'm Wendy,
- 0:17Speaker 1: I'm a former Hallmark hater. On today's episode, we are
- 0:21Speaker 1: discussing the Foresight season one, episode five, which originally aired
- 0:26Speaker 1: on PBS on Sunday, April nineteenth. But good news, you
- 0:29Speaker 1: can watch it for free on PBS dot org and
- 0:31Speaker 1: you can watch all past episodes if you become a
- 0:34Speaker 1: PBS Passport subscriber. Just five dollars a month gets you
- 0:38Speaker 1: access to so much good stuff. Are you a subscriber?
- 0:43Speaker 1: I am? Now are you? Yeah? How did you watch
- 0:46Speaker 1: Dalton Abbey originally on PBS on your like kbr? Oh? Okay? Well,
- 0:54Speaker 1: I started watching Dalton Abbey I think in either season
- 0:57Speaker 1: two or season three, and I remember I had to
- 0:59Speaker 1: get the d from the library because it wasn't streaming anywhere,
- 1:04Speaker 1: and so this was years ago, and so I watched
- 1:06Speaker 1: the first couple on DVD and then I believe I
- 1:10Speaker 1: recorded it, just dvr'd it, and I think now it's
- 1:14Speaker 1: all on Netflix as well, Oh is it? I think
- 1:17Speaker 1: Downtown Abvius on Netflix. And someone recommended another show recently
- 1:22Speaker 1: to us another PBS show. We've gotten quite a few
- 1:24Speaker 1: PBS recommendations. Actually, it's All Creatures, Great and Small, which
- 1:28Speaker 1: is based on the books of James Harriet, which is
- 1:31Speaker 1: are books that I read as a child a children.
- 1:35Speaker 1: He has a children's book, but they're not children's books.
- 1:37Speaker 1: He's a country vet in the English countryside, and I
- 1:41Speaker 1: loved his books. This is a PBS show. It's a
- 1:44Speaker 1: PBS show about a vet in the English country side.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I've known about the series. I haven't watched it, but
- 1:51Speaker 1: now that I'm a PBS dot org subscriber, I might. Yeah. Really,
- 1:56Speaker 1: I'm not sure that you would like the story about
- 1:58Speaker 1: like a country vet in the English countryside. It might
- 2:01Speaker 1: be a little too slow for you. But I'm telling
- 2:05Speaker 1: you I loved those books. I still have copies of them. Really,
- 2:10Speaker 1: I loved them. Why don't we get into it? The
- 2:13Speaker 1: Four Sights Episode five, Let's do It, Let's Hear a synopsis?
- 2:16Speaker 1: Disaster strikes at Four Sights and co s Solmes puts
- 2:20Speaker 1: an end to Irene's Parisian dreams. Louisa faces a shock eviction.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Can Joe save to day? Question mark? Question mark? Question mark? Hey, Yo,
- 2:31Speaker 1: what's your first impression of this episode of the foresights
- 2:34Speaker 1: Irene you and danger Girl Red Flag? Do you know
- 2:40Speaker 1: the red flag guy on TikTok? No? I don't. He
- 2:43Speaker 1: has a literal giant red flag and like you'll see
- 2:47Speaker 1: a video of some man behaving horribly and like it
- 2:50Speaker 1: all a little be a clip of him like running
- 2:53Speaker 1: through the vell really and he makes like you're in
- 2:56Speaker 1: more danger than a I wish I could remember one
- 2:58Speaker 1: of the analogies he makes, but he started making green
- 3:00Speaker 1: flag video. Oh that's nice anyway, Dustin, Dustin Pointer, I
- 3:04Speaker 1: will leave it's his name on techtoks. My first impression
- 3:08Speaker 1: is the one where all of our chickens come home
- 3:10Speaker 1: to roost. Can I tell you? It was this episode
- 3:13Speaker 1: that I it finally dawned on me that this show
- 3:18Speaker 1: is like a soap opera for sure, And when I
- 3:22Speaker 1: watch it with that point of view, I kind of
- 3:24Speaker 1: love that for me because like before going into it,
- 3:29Speaker 1: like I'm thinking this is like a super prestigious like
- 3:32Speaker 1: because of the time frame or language they use and
- 3:35Speaker 1: all like whatever, No, it's just messy and dramatic. If
- 3:38Speaker 1: I just think of it like soapy, like it's a
- 3:40Speaker 1: great watch They're just dressed nicely. They're just dressed nicely. Yes,
- 3:45Speaker 1: And in this particular episode, there was some snark that
- 3:50Speaker 1: UH clocked for maybe the first time. Yes, And I
- 3:54Speaker 1: don't know, was I just missing it in the first
- 3:57Speaker 1: four episode. I think it's stronger in this episode because
- 4:01Speaker 1: it was several times. Oh, there's some great lines. I
- 4:04Speaker 1: just laughed. The end line between Solm's and Joe. Oh
- 4:09Speaker 1: my god, get out Somelm says, booted you out? Has she?
- 4:14Speaker 1: And Joe says marriage going? Well? Is it? It's my favorite.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I rewounded to watch it again. It's so good, like
- 4:20Speaker 1: Joe doesn't miss a beat. Oh, I love it was great.
- 4:25Speaker 1: It was great. So now I'm just like, oh, this
- 4:27Speaker 1: is just like a fun, delicious, soapy melrose Place. I
- 4:31Speaker 1: thought this episode was so good great. So look, after
- 4:35Speaker 1: last week we talked about Anne's voiceovers, and I've noticed
- 4:38Speaker 1: them every time, but last week was the first time
- 4:41Speaker 1: I was paying close attention at the theme she was
- 4:44Speaker 1: weaving for the episode and her voiceover. Did you catch
- 4:47Speaker 1: it this episode? Yeah? I did not. So she talked
- 4:49Speaker 1: about the overall She talks about love being both a
- 4:53Speaker 1: blessing and a curse and that carries through the entire
- 4:57Speaker 1: episode mostly a curse for these people. I think there's
- 5:04Speaker 1: it's there's some question about who it's a blessing for.
- 5:07Speaker 1: I have a lot of likes. Can we start with
- 5:08Speaker 1: one of them? Yeah? Look, I hate the way Solmes
- 5:11Speaker 1: is being deceitful, but it is so juicy to watch
- 5:14Speaker 1: Irene start to turn on him the second she clocks
- 5:18Speaker 1: his BS and her entire attitude changes, and the way
- 5:22Speaker 1: she treats him throughout the rest of this episode. I
- 5:25Speaker 1: was like, oh, love to see it, me too. I
- 5:28Speaker 1: will tell you. As I'm watching this, I was like,
- 5:30Speaker 1: the uman danger girl, like I had to be. Course.
- 5:33Speaker 1: I was like, but maybe Solmes is in danger because
- 5:36Speaker 1: I'm a little afraid of Irene and what she might do.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I know, as she's realizing all this stuff. I mean,
- 5:44Speaker 1: it's as soon as she realizes he's been lying, she
- 5:48Speaker 1: knows exactly why, shaushing his head and she's like, so
- 5:51Speaker 1: when did you know? I'm like, it's like a horror movie. Yeah,
- 5:56Speaker 1: a moment so good, so good, And you know, early
- 6:00Speaker 1: on I was like, sosive, right, Like, the man is
- 6:03Speaker 1: still very nice to look up, but this character is
- 6:06Speaker 1: so scary. He lies so easily, and he just builds
- 6:10Speaker 1: lie upon lie upon lie. And I'm so sad because
- 6:14Speaker 1: at one point I thought, no, I think he's a
- 6:15Speaker 1: good guy. He's not right when he kind of saves
- 6:19Speaker 1: Irene and he seems to love her. I actually don't
- 6:24Speaker 1: think that he doesn't love her. I think that he
- 6:27Speaker 1: thinks he loves her. Oh, I think he's possessed with her.
- 6:30Speaker 1: I think so too, obsessed, obsessed. I think he is
- 6:34Speaker 1: obsessed with her too. He's suppossessed to Irene. Come in,
- 6:38Speaker 1: it's not far off. Look, he says to her, like
- 6:41Speaker 1: I saved you, you owe me. Oh it's dark, really dark,
- 6:48Speaker 1: really dark. Maybe we'll go back to Paris. I was like,
- 6:53Speaker 1: you made him and you never go on, bad girl never.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I love that she makes friends with all the staff.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Yeah this is before she knows, but I was like,
- 7:03Speaker 1: it's so lovely. And then just to see the way
- 7:05Speaker 1: they react to her, and she's so thrown by it,
- 7:08Speaker 1: and Connie's like they're not used to it. She goes
- 7:12Speaker 1: what being treated like real humans? Yeah? I love it. Yeah, great, great,
- 7:16Speaker 1: great great Joe once again the most decent man in
- 7:20Speaker 1: this terrible family. I love how he's standing on business
- 7:24Speaker 1: in this episode, and he's so they so make him
- 7:26Speaker 1: to be the villain, like he's he's the god. He's
- 7:30Speaker 1: such a shame on the family because he had these children,
- 7:33Speaker 1: you know what I mean, where like all these other
- 7:35Speaker 1: people are doing such terrible, terrible things, and he's like, look,
- 7:40Speaker 1: I just want to be a father too much. Kids.
- 7:42Speaker 1: My stepdaughter was raised in this lavish lifestyle and here
- 7:46Speaker 1: my children are. Yes. I think it's really interesting. I'm
- 7:51Speaker 1: a huge fan of Joe in this current moment, and
- 7:55Speaker 1: I think it's really easy to be on his side
- 7:57Speaker 1: because you can see the sparks between Luisa and Joe,
- 8:01Speaker 1: especially when she is talking to him about him, but
- 8:05Speaker 1: the children know who she's talking about. It's important to
- 8:08Speaker 1: pursue your passions. They're not behaving inappropriately. He's not actively
- 8:13Speaker 1: pursuing Louisa. He's doing this all under the guise of
- 8:17Speaker 1: supporting his children, making sure that they're educated and making
- 8:20Speaker 1: sure that all of their needs are met. And of
- 8:22Speaker 1: course that does benefit Luisa, and spending time with the
- 8:26Speaker 1: children does mean spending time with Louisa. But you want
- 8:30Speaker 1: to believe that had France has not given him that ultimatum,
- 8:34Speaker 1: he would have at least attempted to continue to be
- 8:37Speaker 1: a good husband while being present in his other children's lives.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Like he wanted to be above board about it. He
- 8:45Speaker 1: goes to June about it, right, He's like, I'm going
- 8:47Speaker 1: to talk to your mom and Frances cannot hand. And
- 8:50Speaker 1: I don't blame her. I don't blame her for feeling threatened.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I do blame her for saying, get the kids out
- 8:55Speaker 1: of the country. You don't get to be with them. Terrible,
- 8:58Speaker 1: But I don't blame her for feeling threatened by his relationship.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Do you blame him for leaving at the end. No,
- 9:05Speaker 1: I think he's absolutely right. I think these are his children.
- 9:09Speaker 1: It's right for him to want to know them. I agree,
- 9:13Speaker 1: And I think Francis is in a terrible position. She'd
- 9:17Speaker 1: behaves terribly. I have no empathy for Francis. I don't
- 9:22Speaker 1: know that I do either. When she sends wiggans, and
- 9:26Speaker 1: then when you know on his second task that she
- 9:29Speaker 1: sent him to do something bad. You don't know what
- 9:32Speaker 1: it is yet, but you know she sent him to
- 9:34Speaker 1: ruin her in some way. I don't condone any of
- 9:37Speaker 1: her further actions. Yeah, but she saw the way he
- 9:41Speaker 1: looked at her. That's all she needs to know, and
- 9:44Speaker 1: I'm like, what happens from here? He leaves? Then how
- 9:47Speaker 1: does Francis she's going to go to Joe Senior next?
- 9:52Speaker 1: I mean she did? Should they show them to speaking
- 9:54Speaker 1: at the end of the episode, because her lot in
- 9:58Speaker 1: life is going to change if Joe Junior business? Yeah? Yes,
- 10:03Speaker 1: how does that work? I don't know. Do we have
- 10:05Speaker 1: community property in the nineteenth century? She's so wrapped up
- 10:11Speaker 1: in like optics too, you know. So that's why this
- 10:16Speaker 1: is just juicy. I love it. I'm so glad it's
- 10:18Speaker 1: going to have three seasons. Can't wait. This episode was
- 10:22Speaker 1: heavy on, like the financial stuff. I don't care about
- 10:26Speaker 1: any of that stuff. I don't either, except that I
- 10:29Speaker 1: do love the FAFO of it all, with the disaster
- 10:33Speaker 1: behind the salean mind and it, you know, pits the
- 10:35Speaker 1: risk taking men against those who were like I told
- 10:37Speaker 1: you so, man, Yeah, no, I and I get why
- 10:40Speaker 1: they're doing it, and I loved that. Then it goes
- 10:43Speaker 1: even further where Anne is like, oh, somebody who we
- 10:48Speaker 1: owe something too has been affected by this, and you
- 10:51Speaker 1: guys need to make it, make it right. Yeah, there's
- 10:55Speaker 1: all that kind of underbelly storyline that's happening, like the
- 11:00Speaker 1: James and Joe Senior and whoever that's Alexandra, both we're
- 11:05Speaker 1: in love with at some point. Yeah, we're still picking
- 11:07Speaker 1: at that. That's in my wishes, just understanding more about
- 11:10Speaker 1: where that's okay, good, good good, But yeah, overall, a
- 11:15Speaker 1: good juicy episode, A good juicy episode. And I continue
- 11:19Speaker 1: to love June so much. O me too. You know,
- 11:23Speaker 1: June is just so idealistic and she wants to be
- 11:25Speaker 1: with Philip, but she also is like understanding. She's like, oh,
- 11:29Speaker 1: we can't get together until he commissions something, so hey,
- 11:32Speaker 1: do you want to help us up? You know, I'm
- 11:34Speaker 1: just so cute And I wonder like, oh, is June
- 11:38Speaker 1: and Philip and Irene kind of all cut from the
- 11:41Speaker 1: same cloth a little like rebel? Are they rebels? Are
- 11:44Speaker 1: they going to be the ones that take this family,
- 11:47Speaker 1: you know, away from what a Foresight is supposed to be.
- 11:54Speaker 1: I also really enjoyed a couple of scenes with Montague
- 11:58Speaker 1: Monty and this sister he's two. There is a lot
- 12:03Speaker 1: of little comedic things between them. I just enjoyed it.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I just love Monty, like running in the background that
- 12:09Speaker 1: would be a fun character to play. I just feel
- 12:11Speaker 1: like he's like, I'm just a nobody likes me. I
- 12:14Speaker 1: do not even really my wife. My wife seems a
- 12:16Speaker 1: little bit or annoyed by me half the time. I
- 12:19Speaker 1: don't even know if the family likes the wife though,
- 12:21Speaker 1: either the daughter. She's the daughter. I agree, she's not
- 12:24Speaker 1: seen as like Solmes, you know, olden child. No, you're right, Oh,
- 12:28Speaker 1: you're right. Let's take a quick break and we'll come
- 12:30Speaker 1: right back to talk about our wishes. All right, let
- 12:41Speaker 1: me hear some of your wishes, Wendy, I really only
- 12:44Speaker 1: have one, and it's probably just a Wendy situation is
- 12:50Speaker 1: I don't have a ton of understanding still about the
- 12:54Speaker 1: business side of things, and I keep getting I keep
- 12:57Speaker 1: getting the two shows mixed up in my head, the
- 13:00Speaker 1: Foresights and the Count of Chrys. So because like if
- 13:02Speaker 1: you listen to our episode yesterday, there was a little
- 13:04Speaker 1: bit of mirroring happening, like manipulation of markets, crashing of markets,
- 13:09Speaker 1: and things happening, and so I just need a better
- 13:16Speaker 1: understanding of like how much money are we talking being lost?
- 13:24Speaker 1: But overall it doesn't have anything to do with like
- 13:28Speaker 1: the family. Well, I guess It does have to do
- 13:30Speaker 1: with the family dynamics of it all. I mean, prior
- 13:34Speaker 1: episodes we were really hammering in on who's going to
- 13:38Speaker 1: lead it. Solmes are Joe, Zmes are Joe, Which one
- 13:41Speaker 1: is the better leader? They are two different dudes totally. Well,
- 13:49Speaker 1: what's interesting to me here is we have this. Somes
- 13:52Speaker 1: was all in on the potential benefits of the Ceylon
- 13:56Speaker 1: mind as gold mine, and when they were seeing benefits,
- 13:59Speaker 1: he and je the legacy, look at all this, look
- 14:01Speaker 1: at all this money are making and then it crashes
- 14:03Speaker 1: and some kind of crashes out on his own and
- 14:05Speaker 1: then he storms out into Foresight and go and he's like, look,
- 14:09Speaker 1: he shakes it off, gives this big monologue speech. Yeah yes,
- 14:13Speaker 1: but he's like, these people knew what they were doing.
- 14:15Speaker 1: The blame is on them, not on us. And I
- 14:17Speaker 1: was like, look at that, look at you just coming
- 14:20Speaker 1: in here being like, I wash my hands any responsibility
- 14:26Speaker 1: for this. I would take all the credit if we
- 14:28Speaker 1: were making money. But now that we've lost money, Hey,
- 14:30Speaker 1: that was your choice, your choice to stick with that investment.
- 14:33Speaker 1: All we can do is advise you. So is that
- 14:36Speaker 1: how these people operate? Like in twenty twenty six. Probably
- 14:40Speaker 1: come to me when you're making money. Yeah, not my
- 14:42Speaker 1: fault when you lose it. Just a couple of little things.
- 14:45Speaker 1: We talked about it a little bit, but I'm very
- 14:47Speaker 1: curious for more backstory on James and Joe's relationship with
- 14:50Speaker 1: Alexandra and how Henry Falconer comes into play with that. Yeah,
- 14:54Speaker 1: why do they owe him? What were the circumstances behind
- 14:57Speaker 1: his bailout? Seemed precipitated by their relationship with Alexandra. There
- 15:02Speaker 1: is some hinting at that earlier in the episode, where
- 15:06Speaker 1: June is talking about her life with Philip and her
- 15:09Speaker 1: grandfather says something. Joe Senior says something, and she's like,
- 15:13Speaker 1: I'm so sorry that you've never known passion And he's like,
- 15:15Speaker 1: what makes you think I haven't? Yeah, And I thought briefecond,
- 15:18Speaker 1: I'm like, is it talking about Francis. I'm like, no,
- 15:19Speaker 1: obviously he's talking about Alexandra, but we don't know anything
- 15:22Speaker 1: about her. He talked about Irene and June. I really
- 15:26Speaker 1: like that friendship. However, at the end of the episode,
- 15:30Speaker 1: we see Irene meet Philip. June so excited for them
- 15:34Speaker 1: to meet, and she's like, we're all going to be
- 15:36Speaker 1: the best of friends. There's a look exchanged between Irene
- 15:39Speaker 1: and Philip that I don't fully understand. And this might
- 15:41Speaker 1: be me trying to read way too much, but Irene
- 15:45Speaker 1: and Philip are much more similar than June. June and Philip.
- 15:51Speaker 1: We see Irene's relationship falling apart. We don't know what
- 15:54Speaker 1: that means for her marriage, but that scene felt heavier
- 16:00Speaker 1: then it should have, that casual meeting in the park.
- 16:02Speaker 1: And I don't know if it was just because Irene
- 16:04Speaker 1: was forced to put on a happy face in that
- 16:06Speaker 1: moment because she's feeling betrayed, or if there's more there.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I don't know. Interesting. Also, Francis and Josie, you have
- 16:14Speaker 1: a little bit of a moment. I'm not gonna go somewhere.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I don't love it. My suspicions are raised. Mmm. My
- 16:25Speaker 1: final wish is I do wish that Joe would put
- 16:29Speaker 1: a stop to Francis, like he's so polite with her,
- 16:33Speaker 1: like I need him to be like stop your bullshit,
- 16:34Speaker 1: like stop Meddeline and this this is not going to
- 16:38Speaker 1: affect you in any way, Like stop it, stop it.
- 16:43Speaker 1: She's mean, this is not going to affect you in
- 16:46Speaker 1: any way. If he should spending time with his children.
- 16:50Speaker 1: But in her mind, I know, spending time with the
- 16:52Speaker 1: children means he's gonna be boundchik obaa with Louisa, especially
- 16:58Speaker 1: now that he's baught her a little little butter A
- 17:02Speaker 1: big country spread. Yeah, place to bang. The children are there,
- 17:07Speaker 1: There are children in every house. How did the children
- 17:10Speaker 1: get there? Are they going to bang out on this show?
- 17:12Speaker 1: I think so? You think so? Well, I'm okay, Well wait,
- 17:15Speaker 1: I think back SOMs and Iron did. Yeah, that was
- 17:18Speaker 1: pretty steamy about show. I think we're going to know
- 17:22Speaker 1: that these things are happening. I don't think, well, now
- 17:25Speaker 1: that Joe and Francis are technically he got kicked out.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Maybe he walks into Isaac's house and he knows his
- 17:33Speaker 1: life having dinner and he's like, well, last he didn't
- 17:36Speaker 1: go to I know, he says, right, of course, of course.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Can you imagine He's like, oh, by the way, he
- 17:42Speaker 1: takes the tiniest little suitcase with him. Did you see
- 17:44Speaker 1: it's like a briefcase. Yes, like you wear a lot
- 17:47Speaker 1: of clothes. What's in there? His hair products? It's got
- 17:52Speaker 1: great hair. He does great hair. A couple of questions, Solmes,
- 17:57Speaker 1: when does he officially cross a line with you. Is
- 18:01Speaker 1: it like when he tells the big lie about his
- 18:03Speaker 1: dad's health or were you already like he already lied
- 18:07Speaker 1: about his reasons for coming back. Yeah, because he was
- 18:11Speaker 1: not going to come back simply based on his father's letter.
- 18:15Speaker 1: He came back after seeing what it would mean for
- 18:18Speaker 1: Irene being in Paris, and then he made up the lie,
- 18:23Speaker 1: I have to get back. I owe them that. And
- 18:25Speaker 1: then he immediately starts lying and he says, I'm gonna
- 18:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna go tell my father our plans. That's never
- 18:31Speaker 1: his plan to go tell his father. I'm going to
- 18:33Speaker 1: GTF HO to Paris. I just want to let you know.
- 18:36Speaker 1: And then it just it's snowballs. He makes the lie
- 18:38Speaker 1: about his father's health and don't tell anybody, and and
- 18:42Speaker 1: everything about this just solidifies who he is. His proclamation
- 18:45Speaker 1: about not our fault, that we lost your money and
- 18:49Speaker 1: you owe me because I saved you from nothing, he
- 18:53Speaker 1: just gets worse and worse. Is he worse than his dad? Yes?
- 18:57Speaker 1: You think so, I do, because I think James is
- 19:00Speaker 1: a social climber, and I don't think James is a
- 19:03Speaker 1: good guy. He's not the kind of guy i'd want
- 19:05Speaker 1: to be married to. But I think he's just I
- 19:08Speaker 1: don't know that he's as deceitful and as dangerous. Yeah,
- 19:12Speaker 1: Somelme seems to be. And the way Solmes turns off
- 19:15Speaker 1: the anger, yes, frightens me. I know, yeah, me too.
- 19:21Speaker 1: It's just simmering under the surface. Yes, I agree. Do
- 19:25Speaker 1: you think Solmes is worse than Joe James? I wish
- 19:27Speaker 1: we could get like a flashback to James and Joe
- 19:30Speaker 1: Senior as younger and if they were, if they if
- 19:34Speaker 1: James had moved as like icky as SLMs did. What
- 19:39Speaker 1: could you compare the Foresights to like modern day? At
- 19:42Speaker 1: the modern day equivalent to the Foresights? Any think I'm
- 19:46Speaker 1: to mine for you? I don't know. I'm like, it's
- 19:48Speaker 1: not like a daily It's not like all my children
- 19:50Speaker 1: or like the days of our lives, like like that
- 19:53Speaker 1: was down Abby. This was down Abbey soapy? Or was
- 19:56Speaker 1: it just historically down Abbey was soapy? But not quite
- 20:02Speaker 1: like this. No, the drama's real mild. I mean there
- 20:05Speaker 1: is some high drama, but nothing. I wonder if this
- 20:08Speaker 1: like is more you know, when we were children and
- 20:11Speaker 1: it was like the Friday Night Dynasty or Dallas or
- 20:15Speaker 1: like along those lines. Maybe, I don't know. I like it.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I think it's a highly entertaining I think a lot
- 20:25Speaker 1: of people are trapped in this episode in one way
- 20:29Speaker 1: or another, not in this episode, in this world. Yeah,
- 20:34Speaker 1: who do you think is the most trapped? Hm, that's
- 20:38Speaker 1: a good question because if I you know, francis trapped,
- 20:42Speaker 1: but by her own choice, because she wants she wants life. Yeah,
- 20:48Speaker 1: she wants this life, Irene. I mean I don't think
- 20:52Speaker 1: she's I think she can get out of it. But
- 20:56Speaker 1: because even if you remember, Solmes was like, you can leave,
- 21:01Speaker 1: I won't you know, if you're not happy, you can leave.
- 21:05Speaker 1: This was like before they got married, there was a promise.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I don't think that's going to happen either. June might
- 21:11Speaker 1: be the most trapped. Yeah, is it June? Is it Joe? No,
- 21:15Speaker 1: maybe it's the boy, Maybe it's Joe is trapped in
- 21:18Speaker 1: this life, they're all trapped. Who's trapped the most? Because
- 21:22Speaker 1: June has I don't see success with her relationship with Philip,
- 21:26Speaker 1: but at this current place, she does have the clearest
- 21:32Speaker 1: path to what she wants, is at least a path
- 21:35Speaker 1: to what she thinks she wants. Yeah, it might be Joe.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I don't know either, but a lot of people are
- 21:42Speaker 1: trapped in this. I don't know why Joe couldn't just
- 21:45Speaker 1: be to his family like, yeah, I'm not doing any
- 21:47Speaker 1: of this anymore. Bye. I just don't think it's that
- 21:50Speaker 1: easy to just walk away from your family and your
- 21:53Speaker 1: Exit's why he came home when he was with Louisa.
- 21:57Speaker 1: These expectations are too much, and it wouldn't be as
- 22:00Speaker 1: simple as I'm gonna go do my own thing and
- 22:02Speaker 1: I'll see you on the holidays. I mean, they would
- 22:04Speaker 1: be done with him. I don't think he'd be welcome back.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Joe doesn't strike me as a guy who's going to
- 22:10Speaker 1: be like, well, I need their money and I need
- 22:12Speaker 1: their right. So but he's made his own money. I know.
- 22:16Speaker 1: That's why I'm saying, like, why doesn't he just leave
- 22:19Speaker 1: to go be an artiste? Yes? All right, Well, thanks
