- 0:29Speaker 1: launching three two one and away we go.

- 0:38Speaker 2: See you see.
- 0:44Speaker 1: You see.
- 0:55Speaker 4: Ladies and gentlemen. It's the Ron Edwards American Experience talk
- 1:00Speaker 4: show where our unalienable rights are celebrated. And now your
- 1:05Speaker 4: radio refreshment Ron Edwards.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Today Today, Hello, and how are you. I'm Ron Edwards
- 1:32Speaker 2: and welcome to this the Run Edwards American Experience Faith
- 1:35Speaker 2: Day edition as we celebrate the Christmas and Honiga season.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Happy Honugah and Merry Christmas to everyone. And we've got
- 1:44Speaker 2: a great guest today. We're going to be joining our
- 1:46Speaker 2: guests after the first break. His name is Pastor Earl Wallace.
- 1:51Speaker 2: He wrote the pamphlet it's called the Bible is the
- 1:54Speaker 2: Source of America's inalienable rights, and it sure is, and
- 1:59Speaker 2: we'll be talking a little bit about that, but we're
- 2:01Speaker 2: going to also discuss some of the issues of the
- 2:03Speaker 2: day and the issues of this wonderful time of the year,
- 2:08Speaker 2: the most wonderful time of the year, this Christmas season,
- 2:11Speaker 2: and boy, but I tell you there are places around
- 2:15Speaker 2: the world where other folks are trying to make it
- 2:17Speaker 2: not the most wonderful place in the world. One of
- 2:19Speaker 2: them is in Germany. Islamist migrants and asylum seekers vandalizing
- 2:26Speaker 2: and disrupting Christmas celebrations and destroying markets, and yet they
- 2:30Speaker 2: are stupid. Governments still run around saying that diversity is
- 2:34Speaker 2: our strength. Well, you know what, a nation that exemplifies
- 2:39Speaker 2: or promotes diversity without common unity is destined to destruction.
- 2:47Speaker 2: And that may be the plan of those governments. That
- 2:49Speaker 2: may be why they continue to allow in all of
- 2:51Speaker 2: these uncivilized so called migrants from around the world, most
- 2:56Speaker 2: of them Islamists, who have vowed to destroy any society
- 3:01Speaker 2: that they move into that is not already Islamic. And
- 3:06Speaker 2: looking at a picture here, it's kind of sad, beautiful
- 3:09Speaker 2: Christmas market and it's destroyed because the Islamis say, hey,
- 3:14Speaker 2: you're not like us, and we're coming to destroy you.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Terrorist attacks and attempted attacks by Islamist extremists. Christmas celebrations
- 3:22Speaker 2: in Europe have been affected by disruptions at Christmas markets
- 3:26Speaker 2: and vandalism of churches and Nativity scenes. Kind of reminds
- 3:30Speaker 2: me of a Nativity scene that they have annually in
- 3:33Speaker 2: public square in Cleveland this year, and I saw the
- 3:36Speaker 2: picture of it. These little children, they took the baby
- 3:41Speaker 2: Jesus out of the they moved it. I guess they
- 3:44Speaker 2: tossed it to the ground, and they're sitting and where
- 3:47Speaker 2: Jesus is supposed to be sitting, or they pretend Jesus,
- 3:53Speaker 2: and no ones do anything. They took pictures of it,
- 3:55Speaker 2: and I guess people were afraid to say anything because
- 3:58Speaker 2: you know, if you say anything to black folks when
- 4:01Speaker 2: they're doing stupid stuff, you'll be accused of racism. Or
- 4:05Speaker 2: if you're a black that says something, you'll be called
- 4:08Speaker 2: horrible names that are worse than racism, racist, And so
- 4:12Speaker 2: it goes on, and people are divided over stupidity like that,
- 4:17Speaker 2: rather than unified on common principles. How often do you
- 4:23Speaker 2: hear certain people run around talking about and complaining about
- 4:27Speaker 2: conditions that are no longer prevalent in this republic. They
- 4:32Speaker 2: talk about extreme racism and white supremacy and all of
- 4:36Speaker 2: that kind of garbage, and yet they don't seek out
- 4:42Speaker 2: good things that are happening in our country. They don't
- 4:45Speaker 2: seek out the good opportunities or appreciate them. Proof of
- 4:49Speaker 2: that is elon Omar, representative in the United States Congress,
- 4:53Speaker 2: supposedly the most powerful government body on earth. She came
- 4:57Speaker 2: to this country at the age of thirteen and now
- 5:01Speaker 2: is in the government of this country, part of the
- 5:05Speaker 2: effort to destroy this country from within. In Germany, several
- 5:10Speaker 2: incidents drew attention in late twenty twenty four. Video filmed
- 5:15Speaker 2: in Hamburg in October showed pro Palestinian demonstrations using loudspeakers
- 5:20Speaker 2: near Christmas market areas an insign. Between December eighth and
- 5:25Speaker 2: December tenth, thousands of Syrians marched through a Christmas market
- 5:30Speaker 2: after the fall of Asa, chanting and waving Syrian flags
- 5:33Speaker 2: as they passed through the city center. Confirmed incidents of
- 5:37Speaker 2: vandalism targeting churches and nativity scenes were reported across Europe
- 5:44Speaker 2: in twenty four and so far this year as well.
- 5:48Speaker 2: In Erbach, Germany, on November thirtieth of this year, a
- 5:52Speaker 2: living nativity was vandalized. Perpetrators assaulted two donkeys used in
- 5:57Speaker 2: the display, damaged decorations and electrical equipment, vandalized church property,
- 6:03Speaker 2: and defecated inside the church. A witness intervene and the
- 6:08Speaker 2: animals were relocated. The same individuals were suspected of damaging
- 6:14Speaker 2: the town's Christmas market earlier that day and a local
- 6:17Speaker 2: Protestant church earlier in the week. Now, my question is,
- 6:23Speaker 2: how is it that year after year after year after year,
- 6:27Speaker 2: these same situations are allowed to happen in these same market,
- 6:31Speaker 2: same churches. It's like, okay, here they come, get out
- 6:34Speaker 2: of the way. Let them damage our situation, our churches,
- 6:38Speaker 2: our nativity scenes, our gatherings. In Armins, France, a nativity
- 6:44Speaker 2: scene that had been displayed for approximately thirty years was
- 6:48Speaker 2: vandalized overnight between November twenty fifth and twenty six this year.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Protective plexiglass was smashed to smithereens, Several wooden figures were
- 7:00Speaker 2: overturned and shattered, and the baby Jesus figure was damaged,
- 7:04Speaker 2: with its head reported to have been detached. In Brussels, Belgium,
- 7:11Speaker 2: the cloth head of a baby Jesus figure was stolen
- 7:13Speaker 2: from a nativity scene in the Grand Place of the
- 7:17Speaker 2: city's Christmas Market. The display, which featured faceless figures, had
- 7:22Speaker 2: drawn controversies prior to the theft. Mayor Philippe Close said
- 7:26Speaker 2: that the figures were designed without faces to honor the
- 7:30Speaker 2: city's multicultural heritage and to be inclusive for everyone. Well,
- 7:36Speaker 2: you know what, even Yashua admitted that not everyone would
- 7:40Speaker 2: be accepting him. So I think that to making a
- 7:44Speaker 2: Nativity scene with a faithless Jesus is kind of an
- 7:47Speaker 2: insult to Jesus himself, who had a face. And not
- 7:54Speaker 2: everyone will accept Jesus, and they are those who will
- 7:56Speaker 2: try to destroy the image of Jesus, even as a
- 8:00Speaker 2: little baby. Therefore, it is high time for Christians everywhere
- 8:07Speaker 2: to grow a pair and start defending your churches, your
- 8:11Speaker 2: nativity scenes, your markets, your homes, your families, yourselves, and
- 8:18Speaker 2: stop being the world's whipping post. As far as I know.
- 8:25Speaker 2: As far as I know, we are not supposed to
- 8:29Speaker 2: be the world's whipping post. The Lord did not tell us.
- 8:32Speaker 2: He told us to turn the other cheek, But he
- 8:34Speaker 2: didn't tell us to turn everything over to the enemy
- 8:37Speaker 2: in order to be an appeasing group of ne'er do wells.
- 8:43Speaker 2: He didn't tell us to do that. It was the
- 8:47Speaker 2: right of self defense that is recognized in our constitution,
- 8:52Speaker 2: that came out of the Word of God. And so
- 8:57Speaker 2: it is imperative that we in the body of Christ
- 9:03Speaker 2: grow up in that area and stop being the weak
- 9:07Speaker 2: punks of the world. That's not our role, that is
- 9:10Speaker 2: not our place. I don't see anywhere in the Bible.
- 9:16Speaker 2: And we have a minister as a guest on today,
- 9:17Speaker 2: and if I'm wrong, in fact, I will ask him
- 9:21Speaker 2: point blank because I've looked. You know, I hear these
- 9:27Speaker 2: people say that, oh, we're supposed to have open borders.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Jesus didn't turn anyone away, YadA YadA yah. Therefore you're
- 9:34Speaker 2: wrong to have a wall. Okay, I don't believe that.
- 9:40Speaker 2: I don't see that in the Bible, but I don't
- 9:42Speaker 2: pretend to see everything. But maybe our guest today, Pastor
- 9:46Speaker 2: ol Wallace, will correct me on that, or he will say, hey, Ron,
- 9:49Speaker 2: you're right, we do need to tighten up our act.
- 9:55Speaker 2: It's one or the other. I don't think there's any
- 9:59Speaker 2: in between on this particular issue. And the fact of
- 10:04Speaker 2: the matter that we went to war over liberty and
- 10:08Speaker 2: it extracted this nation from the British Empire, and how
- 10:15Speaker 2: God blessed this nation unlike any other major nation in
- 10:19Speaker 2: the history of the world. But have you noticed how
- 10:24Speaker 2: when supposedly the people of God become more weak in
- 10:30Speaker 2: their morality, weak in their ability or willingness to stand
- 10:33Speaker 2: up against evil. You notice how conditions also deteriorate behind
- 10:38Speaker 2: that just saying, which leads me to think, Yes, we
- 10:46Speaker 2: need to appreciate the gift of freedom. We need to
- 10:51Speaker 2: appreciate show appreciation by standing up for our liberties, which
- 10:57Speaker 2: is a gift which comes from God. And I think
- 11:00Speaker 2: as we stand up and be strong, God will back
- 11:04Speaker 2: us up as he did King David.
- 11:17Speaker 5: Hi, I'm pastor Carl Noble, good Shepherd Luk in church

- 14:22Speaker 9: Is your portfolio up over one thousand percent since the
- 14:25Speaker 9: year two thousand? Let me ask you that again, because
- 14:28Speaker 9: it sounds a little shocking. Is your investment portfolio up
- 14:32Speaker 9: one thousand percent in the last twenty five years? If
- 14:35Speaker 9: you would have bought ten thousand dollars in physical gold
- 14:38Speaker 9: in the year two thousand and left it in your

- 14:44Speaker 9: worth one hundred twenty five thousand dollars. Gold is more

- 15:09Speaker 3: Eight hundred four oh one eight one eight oh eight
- 15:12Speaker 3: hundred four oh one eight one eight oh that's eight
- 15:16Speaker 3: hundred four oh one eighty one eighty.
- 15:31Speaker 1: There's a past Durnston christ That eighteen k the number
- 15:35Speaker 1: four MI dot org. And you're listening to Bron Edward
- 15:41Speaker 1: American Experience.
- 15:48Speaker 2: And we're back. This is a round overs American Experience
- 15:51Speaker 2: and we are doesn't sound like it, but we are
- 15:53Speaker 2: celebrating the Christmas season and Honiga as well. And you know,
- 16:00Speaker 2: you know the Word of God says blessed other peacemakers,
- 16:04Speaker 2: and you know they are two different things. They're peacemakers
- 16:10Speaker 2: and they're peacekeepers. And I was doing a little thinking
- 16:14Speaker 2: about that, and I'm going to bring forth our guests,
- 16:18Speaker 2: pastor Earl Wallace in just a second. But I was
- 16:20Speaker 2: thinking about peace makers, and we talk about you know,
- 16:26Speaker 2: I was talking about before the break about how Islamist
- 16:30Speaker 2: are destroying nativity scenes throughout Europe and bullying their way
- 16:36Speaker 2: into markets and being destructive and defecating in churches just
- 16:40Speaker 2: because they're nasty people. Anyway, that's why you can't even
- 16:44Speaker 2: shake their left hand. But anyway, it is what it is.
- 16:48Speaker 2: But peacemakers represent strength and power. That's why President Trump
- 16:56Speaker 2: was able to travel around the world and positively affect
- 17:01Speaker 2: eight major conflicts around the planet. I think six of
- 17:05Speaker 2: them are still maintaining a peaceful posture. And then you
- 17:12Speaker 2: have peace keepers that come in and maintain the peace
- 17:17Speaker 2: that is first established by the stronger peace makers. Kind
- 17:23Speaker 2: of reminds me of growing up. Our dads in the
- 17:26Speaker 2: neighborhood were peace makers. For instance, if my older sisters
- 17:31Speaker 2: and I got into a scuffle, an argument or whatever,
- 17:35Speaker 2: and Mom would say, wait till your father comes Until
- 17:38Speaker 2: your father comes home, and then you knew that whoever
- 17:42Speaker 2: did started it or did something bad. You know, lightning
- 17:45Speaker 2: would bump the stump when Dad got home, and there
- 17:49Speaker 2: wasn't any big arguments. He didn't worry about our little
- 17:51Speaker 2: feelings or anything like that. He came home, enlightening bumped
- 17:54Speaker 2: the stump, and then there was peace throughout the land.
- 17:58Speaker 2: And Mom was peace keeper because Dad laid down the law.
- 18:04Speaker 2: And the same thing goes on a bigger scale when
- 18:07Speaker 2: it comes to peace keeping and peace making throughout the world.
- 18:11Speaker 2: And that is one of the reasons why the United States,
- 18:13Speaker 2: and my humble opinion, needs to maintain a high moral
- 18:17Speaker 2: character so she can be in a position to be
- 18:22Speaker 2: even listened to by other nations and also have the
- 18:26Speaker 2: strength that everyone knows you have in order to back
- 18:28Speaker 2: it up. And then they are required to maintain that
- 18:31Speaker 2: peace or try to. Let's bring forth our guest. His
- 18:36Speaker 2: name is Pastor Earl Wallace. He wrote the wonderful pamphlet
- 18:40Speaker 2: it's called the Bible is a source of America's inalienable rights,
- 18:45Speaker 2: and it's something I refer to almost every day as
- 18:48Speaker 2: a reminder of how great our nation is because of
- 18:52Speaker 2: our God. Welcome Pastor, and welcome back. It's great to
- 18:57Speaker 2: have you again.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Thank you, Ron, thanks for having me. Your voice is
- 19:02Speaker 1: a little low in my system and Erica can turn
- 19:05Speaker 1: you up. On my side, I can hear you, but
- 19:08Speaker 1: like I said, your voice is subdued and load.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Well, yeah, ironically your voice is very low on my
- 19:14Speaker 2: end as well. I'm trying to make an adjustment here
- 19:18Speaker 2: where I'm at, and hopefully you could hear me a
- 19:21Speaker 2: little bit better as it goes forth. Is that better?
- 19:26Speaker 1: I can, It's not the same, but I can hear you,
- 19:29Speaker 1: and I can speak a little louder. I don't know
- 19:30Speaker 1: if that helps it.
- 19:31Speaker 2: All, Okay, anyway, Yeah, I was.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I was.
- 19:37Speaker 2: I hope you were able to hear the opening monologue
- 19:40Speaker 2: and some of the things that I was saying after
- 19:41Speaker 2: the break, I certainly, Yeah, I like to get your
- 19:45Speaker 2: take on that. You know, they talk about Blessed as
- 19:48Speaker 2: the peace maker and the important and a lot of
- 19:53Speaker 2: people don't know the difference. They don't recognize the difference
- 19:55Speaker 2: between peace maker and peace keeper. And wonder what you
- 20:00Speaker 2: think about how that works in the grand scheme of things,
- 20:03Speaker 2: whether it's in the family or between nations.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Well, I believe that God gives us ten commandments rights.
- 20:11Speaker 1: For when God says in the Bible thou shall not murder,
- 20:14Speaker 1: ten commandment number six, he's saying everybody has the right
- 20:19Speaker 1: not to be murdered. Now, in the New Testament we
- 20:21Speaker 1: read also that in the Sermon on the Mount, God
- 20:25Speaker 1: tells us that when my Holy Spirit is within you,
- 20:28Speaker 1: he says, you've heard it say, do not murder. But
- 20:30Speaker 1: when my Holy Spirit is within you, he will convict
- 20:33Speaker 1: you of being angry at another person, so you can
- 20:36Speaker 1: avoid the situation, the discussion, probably the assault, the throw
- 20:40Speaker 1: of the punch, that could possibly lead to murder. So
- 20:43Speaker 1: I believe we have ten Commandments rights, and I believe
- 20:45Speaker 1: that Jesus gives us a society, a civil society. God
- 20:50Speaker 1: gives us a civil society through the Ten Commandments. Moses
- 20:53Speaker 1: is on top of the Supreme Court building holding the
- 20:56Speaker 1: Ten Commandments, the two tablets. So those are our societal rules.
- 21:00Speaker 1: I've started some initiatives up in my neck of the
- 21:03Speaker 1: woods trying to get municipalities to repost ten Commandments in
- 21:08Speaker 1: public spaces so that people know two things. Number one,
- 21:11Speaker 1: what are God's rules which he divined, which he you know,
- 21:15Speaker 1: defines a sin. He's going to judge us according to
- 21:18Speaker 1: his rules, not according to ours nor our interpretation of
- 21:20Speaker 1: his rules. Very clear, what he says, and we also
- 21:24Speaker 1: should order our society. We have the right to have
- 21:28Speaker 1: a civic society that's going to reflect Heaven and it's
- 21:32Speaker 1: going to be free from these uh, these these these
- 21:35Speaker 1: the violations of the Ten Commandments against us. Want I
- 21:40Speaker 1: got some more to say, but I don't want to
- 21:41Speaker 1: dye dominate the whole conversation.
- 21:44Speaker 2: I appreciate that now when it talks about violating these
- 21:48Speaker 2: Ten Commandments and our inaliable rights which come from God,
- 21:52Speaker 2: I think, do you see these violations in Europe and
- 21:56Speaker 2: throughout the United States? Increasingly because the other side it
- 22:00Speaker 2: wants to violate our rights, they see weakness and they
- 22:04Speaker 2: continue to get away with it because maybe there is weakness.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Now I say that we need to figure out how
- 22:13Speaker 2: to man up. There's you man up both spiritually and physically,
- 22:19Speaker 2: and we have to because if we don't, we're going
- 22:22Speaker 2: to continue to notice that our churches, our synagogues, our
- 22:29Speaker 2: Nativity scenes, our women, if they happen to walk into
- 22:33Speaker 2: a Muslim area, will be spat upon like they are
- 22:36Speaker 2: in Dearborn Michigan. If an American woman walks into Dearborn
- 22:42Speaker 2: Michigan today and she doesn't have the big tent on
- 22:45Speaker 2: and her eyes almost covered. She could get spat upon
- 22:49Speaker 2: by the other women who are all burke it up.
- 22:52Speaker 2: And that's because we in this country have allowed ourselves
- 22:57Speaker 2: to be invaded. It's no different than if if you
- 23:00Speaker 2: don't take care of your body and you allow your
- 23:02Speaker 2: body to be invaded by a disease or by malaria
- 23:05Speaker 2: or whatever, because you have allowed your your your system
- 23:10Speaker 2: to be so weak that it cannot repel or extinguish
- 23:16Speaker 2: an outer attacking situation. And it's the same way in
- 23:21Speaker 2: society is in general. How you know, it's kind of
- 23:25Speaker 2: scary when you think of the concept we are a
- 23:28Speaker 2: constitutionally limited republic, but yet in certain pockets we are
- 23:32Speaker 2: allowing Sharia law. And these are people who have said, hey,
- 23:36Speaker 2: we're not here to adhere to your constitution, We're here
- 23:40Speaker 2: to destroy you. I mean, in Sirah four and in
- 23:44Speaker 2: in the in the Qur'an, it tells them how they
- 23:48Speaker 2: can beat the hell out of their women and Sarah
- 23:51Speaker 2: and I and I believe that's the where talks about
- 23:53Speaker 2: how they can come in and and and will take
- 23:56Speaker 2: over another land. And it's because they're being allowed to
- 23:59Speaker 2: do so, what say you.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Well, I believe America struggle and the world struggle is
- 24:06Speaker 1: between people who have a Ten Commandments value system and
- 24:09Speaker 1: those who don't. There are some people who believe that
- 24:12Speaker 1: murder is wrong, lying is wrong, stealing is wrong, that
- 24:17Speaker 1: assaulting people, which I said to lead the murder is wrong.
- 24:20Speaker 1: There are those of us who believe that those things
- 24:23Speaker 1: are okay. There are a lot of people who believe
- 24:25Speaker 1: if I can get away with it, if I can
- 24:27Speaker 1: violate the Ten Commandments against you, suck a same shame
- 24:31Speaker 1: on you. Now, our challenges as a Christian society is
- 24:36Speaker 1: for the basic Christians and the basic Church. We have
- 24:39Speaker 1: to ask ourselves this question which I struggled with for
- 24:42Speaker 1: a number of years before I arrived at this concept
- 24:45Speaker 1: which I call the Biblical basis of the Bill of Rights.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Here's the question, how far reaching are the precepts of
- 24:51Speaker 1: Scripture and what area of life does not the Bible
- 24:56Speaker 1: apply to? When the Irs deceived us, When the Satan
- 25:00Speaker 1: worshippers within Irs deceived us through in nineteen fifty four,
- 25:05Speaker 1: through the concept of separation of church and state, which
- 25:08Speaker 1: they formulated and foisted upon the American public in the
- 25:12Speaker 1: form of the tax exemption, which we did.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Not need a pastor, Earl, can you hold it right there?
- 25:17Speaker 2: We're coming upon a break. This is the run Over American.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Experience where our unalienable rights are celebrated.
- 25:27Speaker 11: This pastor junior from Hawaii and you're listening to the
- 25:30Speaker 11: round Edward American Experience.
- 25:33Speaker 3: Seasons come, seasons gone.
- 25:43Speaker 4: How would you like to help this program reach more people?
- 25:45Speaker 2: And durn silver at the same time.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Color text eight oh one sixty six nine twenty two
- 25:49Speaker 3: eleven for complete details.
- 25:55Speaker 2: It was December twenty fifth, nineteen fourteen, only five months
- 25:59Speaker 2: into World War One. German, British and French soldiers, already
- 26:03Speaker 2: weary of senseless killing, disobeyed their superiors and fraternized with
- 26:07Speaker 2: enemy combatants along the Western Front. Yellowime ron Edwards on
- 26:11Speaker 2: today's page from the Edward's Notebook. Despite the threat of
- 26:14Speaker 2: severe punishment from their superiors, German soldiers held up Christmas
- 26:17Speaker 2: trees out of the trenches with Merry Christmas signs. Thousands
- 26:21Speaker 2: of troops streamed across a no man's land strewn with
- 26:24Speaker 2: rotting corpses. They sang Christmas carols and because of the
- 26:27Speaker 2: impact of Christ's loved Christmas, soldiers embraced one another who
- 26:31Speaker 2: just hours before were trying to kill each other. They
- 26:34Speaker 2: even agreed to warn each other if the top brass
- 26:37Speaker 2: forced them to fire their weapons again. Generals on all
- 26:40Speaker 2: sides declared that spontaneous Christmas inspired peacemaking was treasonous and
- 26:44Speaker 2: subject to a court martial. By March nineteen fifteen, the
- 26:48Speaker 2: Fatternization movement had been eradicated and the killing was back
- 26:52Speaker 2: in full operation. By the time of armistice in nineteen eighteen,
- 26:57Speaker 2: fifteen million would be slaughtered as we set a right
- 27:00Speaker 2: Christmas once again. I look forward to the day when
- 27:03Speaker 2: the peace and goodwill inspired by the birth of Jesus
- 27:07Speaker 2: will be a prominent gift we give to one another.

- 29:02Speaker 4: My family.
- 29:03Speaker 2: This this is ron Edwards and you're listening to the
- 29:07Speaker 2: ronder Edberts, American experienced talk show, and glad to be
- 29:11Speaker 2: with you this day. You know, we heard the wonderful
- 29:15Speaker 2: message of President Trump the other night, and I thought
- 29:18Speaker 2: it was very good, very very good, very short, especially
- 29:22Speaker 2: by his standards. And the reason why here's the reason why.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Most of the nation, in fact, all of the nation
- 29:31Speaker 2: got the chance to actually hear his broadcast. Turns out
- 29:36Speaker 2: that it had. President Trump said had let the networks
- 29:39Speaker 2: know that, well, you know, I'm going to talk about
- 29:41Speaker 2: all the good things that we've been doing about the
- 29:44Speaker 2: concerning the economy, YadA, YadA, YadA, and look what to
- 29:47Speaker 2: look forward to in twenty twenty six. Well, if he
- 29:51Speaker 2: found out that most of the networks would not have
- 29:53Speaker 2: aired his broadcast, and so what he did he did
- 29:57Speaker 2: a bit of a head fake, and so he told
- 30:00Speaker 2: them that there's going to be some sort of an
- 30:03Speaker 2: intermission ventialist war in Venezuela. And so, of course that
- 30:08Speaker 2: piqued their interest. And you know, the national media knows
- 30:11Speaker 2: that most of us are not in favor of any
- 30:15Speaker 2: kind of actual intervening or invasion of Venezuela, though we
- 30:20Speaker 2: are in support of what he's doing so far taking
- 30:22Speaker 2: out the drug dealers and in the high season all
- 30:25Speaker 2: of that, and blockading their ability to bring in oil
- 30:29Speaker 2: or take out oil to sell around the world. And
- 30:34Speaker 2: you know, that's a perfect example of being wise as
- 30:40Speaker 2: a serpent, yet harmless as a dove. He didn't have
- 30:44Speaker 2: to attack anyone, he didn't have He just used his
- 30:46Speaker 2: his intelligence and outwitted the dragon media and the country
- 30:51Speaker 2: got the message. And because of that positive message, the
- 30:55Speaker 2: outlook for the future has improved dramatically in just the
- 31:02Speaker 2: hours since that message, and people are more able to
- 31:05Speaker 2: see clearly as to how things are improving in real
- 31:10Speaker 2: time and how they will as a result of what
- 31:13Speaker 2: has been done by the Trump administration, and they're not
- 31:17Speaker 2: just listening to the negativity of the other side. Pastor
- 31:23Speaker 2: Earl Wallace is our guest today and Pastor Earl that's
- 31:27Speaker 2: a perfect example of being wise as a serpent and
- 31:30Speaker 2: harmless as a dove.
- 31:31Speaker 1: What say you, well, I agree with you one hundred percent.
- 31:35Speaker 1: What Donald Trump is doing is he is protecting America
- 31:39Speaker 1: through our Ten Commandments rights not to be murdered, which
- 31:42Speaker 1: is you're going to be selling drugs. You don't know
- 31:44Speaker 1: where that's going to end up, especially with sat law,
- 31:46Speaker 1: which is such a dangerous drug. Another really cool thing
- 31:49Speaker 1: President Trump is doing, he's reversing the government's programs and
- 31:53Speaker 1: initiatives that violates the Ten Commandments contend Commandment number eight
- 31:57Speaker 1: against us styles shall not feel. How he is doing
- 32:01Speaker 1: that is he's taking these government subsidies that we're going
- 32:04Speaker 1: to the insurance companies. What Trump is doing is he's
- 32:08Speaker 1: working on the supply side, I'm sorry, the demand side
- 32:11Speaker 1: of the FRAN and free enterprise equation. The customer demands
- 32:15Speaker 1: the services. What the government has been doing is they've
- 32:18Speaker 1: been giving money to insurance companies, the supposed suppliers of healthcare,
- 32:22Speaker 1: who can get that money without providing an adequate service.
- 32:26Speaker 1: So Obamacare was a fraud. It violated the basic concepts
- 32:30Speaker 1: of the free enterprise system, which should be demand driven.
- 32:33Speaker 1: You give the money to the consumers. To empower the consumers,
- 32:36Speaker 1: they will pick the healthcare of their choice. The healthcare
- 32:39Speaker 1: companies will then compete to provide better services, more timely services,
- 32:44Speaker 1: in ways that consumers demand those services, in the places
- 32:47Speaker 1: where consumers demand those services. So Donald Trump to me,
- 32:50Speaker 1: is he's actually advocating and implementing the Ten Commandments within
- 32:54Speaker 1: our society. People wish more people could understand these things,
- 32:57Speaker 1: because our challenge is if we all our politicians are
- 33:01Speaker 1: supposed to administer the Ten Commandments rights.
- 33:04Speaker 2: We the people have.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Let me try to say it this way. There are
- 33:07Speaker 1: ten commandments, and there are ten bill of rights. Each
- 33:11Speaker 1: of the bill of rights are designed to or is
- 33:14Speaker 1: designed to compel people in government to treat we the
- 33:17Speaker 1: people according to the Ten Commandments. For instance, ten Commandment
- 33:21Speaker 1: number six says thou shalt not murder. America's founding fathers
- 33:25Speaker 1: realize that in ten Commandment number six, God is giving
- 33:29Speaker 1: us the right to not be murdered, so they gave
- 33:31Speaker 1: us the Second Amendment to defend ourselves. Any politician trying
- 33:35Speaker 1: to take guns away from we the people is trying
- 33:38Speaker 1: to preposition us so we can be taken advantage of
- 33:42Speaker 1: and murdered by people who don't have a ten Commandment's
- 33:44Speaker 1: value system, who believe it's okay to break into our
- 33:47Speaker 1: homes and steal from us. I believe I'm trying to
- 33:49Speaker 1: have them. I'm praying my friends and I are praying
- 33:51Speaker 1: that could meet sit down with Donald Trump and give
- 33:53Speaker 1: our government clarity We're what's working for us is when
- 33:59Speaker 1: we are comp selling government to treat we the people
- 34:01Speaker 1: according to the Ten Commandments. To me, that's very cut
- 34:04Speaker 1: and dry. When we say one more thing before I stop.
- 34:06Speaker 1: In the section in nations founded by the God of
- 34:09Speaker 1: the Bible, as is America and biblical Israel, citizens are
- 34:14Speaker 1: supposed to apply the Bible to every aspect of life,
- 34:17Speaker 1: including civics. If you have a ten commandments value system,
- 34:21Speaker 1: then it's easier for you to figure out which are
- 34:23Speaker 1: your politicians have a ten commandments value system. Our challenge
- 34:26Speaker 1: in America is we've got religion. A lot of people
- 34:29Speaker 1: have so called Christian religions that actually violate ten Commandments
- 34:33Speaker 1: number one and two. The Bible tells us that God
- 34:36Speaker 1: doesn't separate himself from the nations, as the five oh
- 34:39Speaker 1: one Irs nineteen fifty four five oh one c. Three
- 34:41Speaker 1: policy compels us to try the voice this fraught upon
- 34:45Speaker 1: us to believe God. The Bible teaches that God either
- 34:48Speaker 1: blesses or he judges nations. If you violate ten Commandments
- 34:53Speaker 1: number one and two, have no other God before me.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Don't go praying to statues and whatnot. Inn icons think
- 34:58Speaker 1: and you're reaching God. There's one media between God, man,
- 35:00Speaker 1: the man, Jesus Christ Second Timothy three sixteen. If you
- 35:05Speaker 1: ascribe the characteristics of the Trinity the inanimate objects, that's
- 35:08Speaker 1: a violation of ten Commandments one and two. God, by
- 35:11Speaker 1: the honor of his character, ensures that we get the punishment,
- 35:15Speaker 1: which is the other eight of the ten commandments get
- 35:18Speaker 1: violated against us. We have more vulgarity in our society.
- 35:22Speaker 1: People taking the Lord's name in vain. We have our administrative,
- 35:25Speaker 1: our schools, and judiciary, and people are making laws to
- 35:30Speaker 1: violate our family rights. We have laws that you can
- 35:33Speaker 1: murder babies. We have laws of these solk I'm black,
- 35:36Speaker 1: you're black. I don't need a law that says you
- 35:38Speaker 1: can't hit me because I'm black. I got a law
- 35:40Speaker 1: of rat that says you can't hit me because I'm
- 35:42Speaker 1: a human being. All lives matter, and Bible believing Christians
- 35:46Speaker 1: understand these things. But Christians who are who read the
- 35:49Speaker 1: Bible through the paradigm of societal lives and confusion, they
- 35:54Speaker 1: get confused by these things. I wanted to give the
- 35:58Speaker 1: government the Ten Commandments clarity. Yeah, whether or not.
- 36:05Speaker 2: You know what you talked about also reminds me of
- 36:10Speaker 2: the income tax, another form of stealing through legal edict.
- 36:16Speaker 2: And it was very refreshing to hear President Trump recently
- 36:20Speaker 2: talk about getting rid of the income tax, because before
- 36:23Speaker 2: the income tax, guess how the taxes were paid through tariffs.
- 36:28Speaker 2: If you remember the Monroe Doctrine and all of that,
- 36:30Speaker 2: and how that ushered in the Gilded Age of wealth
- 36:34Speaker 2: in America, which by the way, funded America through many decades.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Many people don't understand how that old money sustained this
- 36:45Speaker 2: country and to this day still sustains it to a
- 36:48Speaker 2: certain degree. And we can get back to I believe,
- 36:52Speaker 2: not the golden age, but a gilded age of unprecedented
- 36:56Speaker 2: wealth if we do get rid of the income tax,
- 36:58Speaker 2: which is another form of thievery which we're taken away by.
- 37:02Speaker 2: And I'll join you in saying by Satanists because they
- 37:06Speaker 2: wanted to be able to legally steal from the people.
- 37:09Speaker 1: What say you, Uh, you're absolutely right. Ron the income
- 37:14Speaker 1: the founding fathers, if you read the Federalist papers, they
- 37:16Speaker 1: called would be income tax servitude. You would become an
- 37:21Speaker 1: indentured servant.
- 37:23Speaker 8: Uh.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Tariffs are a payment to the American taxpayer that a
- 37:28Speaker 1: company provides to have the opportunity to sell products and
- 37:34Speaker 1: goods and services to us here in America. The income
- 37:38Speaker 1: tax is the opposite of that. The income tax. It
- 37:40Speaker 1: takes money away from the from the the person who
- 37:45Speaker 1: demands the service, so that you you do so you
- 37:49Speaker 1: have less to work with. I also believe the income
- 37:51Speaker 1: tax is a way to hamper the most I would
- 37:55Speaker 1: say aggressive and up and coming people in our society,
- 37:59Speaker 1: the middle class business owner, because if you take money
- 38:02Speaker 1: away from them, they have less money to fight the
- 38:04Speaker 1: government to keep our rights. And there's a whole bunch
- 38:07Speaker 1: of evil things. I believe that a go along with
- 38:09Speaker 1: the incompacts. People think that, oh, if we take away
- 38:12Speaker 1: the income taxt, how will our government be funded. Look
- 38:14Speaker 1: at your money. On the top of your dollar bills,
- 38:16Speaker 1: it says Federal Reserve note. The Federal Reserve Bank is
- 38:20Speaker 1: not federal and there's no reserve. Every dollar they print
- 38:24Speaker 1: for me, the people, we owe them that dollar backplus interest.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Those tops of our bills should say Treasury notes or
- 38:30Speaker 1: Department of the Treasury certificate, which should stand for that
- 38:34Speaker 1: silver is backing our money. As it says in the
- 38:37Speaker 1: US Constitution. The dollar is supposed to be pointing three
- 38:39Speaker 1: to three three whatever ounces of silver or something like that.
- 38:42Speaker 1: It says in the US Constitution. So we can get
- 38:45Speaker 1: back to the Constitution very simply if we stop looking
- 38:49Speaker 1: at life through the paradigm of the lies that we
- 38:51Speaker 1: have been told for the past hundred years or so,
- 38:55Speaker 1: and especially since nineteen fifty four.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Absolutely, but you can actually take them. We go all
- 39:00Speaker 2: the way back to nineteen thirteen when the door was
- 39:02Speaker 2: opened to all of this this madness and even tech.
- 39:07Speaker 1: You a little bit of study on the Titanic, you
- 39:09Speaker 1: can see.
- 39:09Speaker 2: What hold on. We're heading into another break man. We

- 43:14Speaker 2: She's in jail for nine years for no good reason
- 43:18Speaker 2: at all, because she found things going wrong in the
- 43:22Speaker 2: election process in the beautiful state of Colorado. They did
- 43:26Speaker 2: in jail her for anything wrong or immoral. She is
- 43:29Speaker 2: jailed for actually doing the right thing, and so she
- 43:33Speaker 2: must be released from jail as soon as possible. She's
- 43:38Speaker 2: been beaten, she's been given bad water, bad food, forced
- 43:43Speaker 2: to sleep on cement slabs, forced to stay in darkness,
- 43:48Speaker 2: utter darkness for many days at a time, and some
- 43:52Speaker 2: have said that her cancer has returned and she's not
- 43:54Speaker 2: allowed proper treatment, etc. Etc. Etc. This is what happens
- 43:59Speaker 2: when those who hate God take over. They will come
- 44:05Speaker 2: after you and talk about calling what's good bad and
- 44:09Speaker 2: what's bad good? What a case? What do you think
- 44:12Speaker 2: about that, Pastor Earl?
- 44:15Speaker 1: Once again, ron I agree with you one hundred percent.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Tina Peters was the Commissioner of Records and she has
- 44:26Speaker 1: the constitutional duty to secure the chain of custody, and
- 44:30Speaker 1: that means if you're making electronic transfers of information, we
- 44:33Speaker 1: should know who's on the either side of that equation.
- 44:37Speaker 1: So she made images of the transfers of the computer system,
- 44:44Speaker 1: the vote count before the transfer, which probably did not
- 44:48Speaker 1: match what they said the vote count was after the transfer.
- 44:53Speaker 1: So those liars, those people who are violating ten Commandments
- 44:55Speaker 1: number nine, came after her. They have stolen her rights
- 44:59Speaker 1: to to be a free citizen. I read the trial.
- 45:03Speaker 1: They railroaded her to jail. They would not allow certain
- 45:06Speaker 1: information to which was which would have been exculpatory, to
- 45:10Speaker 1: be entered into the court record. So therefore, if you
- 45:13Speaker 1: tell me a half truth, are lying to me. And
- 45:15Speaker 1: that's what they did with that court case. They didn't
- 45:17Speaker 1: even have half truth against her, and they couldn't even
- 45:20Speaker 1: go that far because it was because it was such
- 45:21Speaker 1: a cut and dry case that she was she was
- 45:24Speaker 1: correct and in the in the in the right that
- 45:26Speaker 1: they just just suppressed the information. I was speaking to
- 45:29Speaker 1: a school board about a week ago, and uh, I said, no,
- 45:33Speaker 1: this time of year, we celebrate peace on earth and
- 45:35Speaker 1: goodwill to mend the birth of Christ. Why would you
- 45:37Speaker 1: want to suppress that? And and the other side of
- 45:40Speaker 1: that is what is the outcome if you keep suppressing it?
- 45:44Speaker 1: I put this on Facebook yesterday, Lord God in Jesus name,
- 45:47Speaker 1: We pray to you had confound the plans of the wicked,
- 45:50Speaker 1: and that you would go to bat for this woman,
- 45:53Speaker 1: Miss Peters, and that you would release her. You released
- 45:55Speaker 1: Paul from jail, You release Peter from jail. I pray
- 45:59Speaker 1: for a supernatural miracle of God, that you would release
- 46:01Speaker 1: her from jail. I pray to your holy spirits, fear
- 46:04Speaker 1: would fall upon her guards, and that every evil that
- 46:07Speaker 1: they have planned for her, Lord, you would turn it
- 46:09Speaker 1: back and repulse and repulse it against them away from her.
- 46:12Speaker 1: I asked these things in Jesus' name. Lord. We're at
- 46:15Speaker 1: the end of our rope with this situation. We confess
- 46:17Speaker 1: we have done everything. President Trump has even pardoned her.
- 46:21Speaker 1: But the evil people within that state system, the judiciary,
- 46:24Speaker 1: and the penal system, they're holding on to this woman improperly.
- 46:28Speaker 1: We pray they would release her in Jesus.
- 46:30Speaker 2: Name, Amen, pastor Earl. And now I'm of the opinion
- 46:35Speaker 2: that this is one of those cases where the President
- 46:38Speaker 2: should say, you know what, forget it and sin in
- 46:42Speaker 2: some very strong individuals from the military and just march
- 46:45Speaker 2: in and just get her out. Because this is a
- 46:48Speaker 2: totally unjust situation. It goes against Colorado law, and so
- 46:54Speaker 2: because it is a double double wrong, I think it's
- 46:59Speaker 2: super seed the right of the state because they're not
- 47:02Speaker 2: actually following the actual laws of the state. They're going
- 47:06Speaker 2: according to their political they're leftist political ideology, which has
- 47:10Speaker 2: nothing to do with the written law of the State
- 47:14Speaker 2: of Colorado, its constitution, or in regards to the Constitution
- 47:19Speaker 2: of the United States and our laws of election.
- 47:22Speaker 1: What say you, Well, you're right ron By the US Constitution,
- 47:29Speaker 1: each state is supposed to guarantee its citizens a republican
- 47:33Speaker 1: form of government. We're a constitutional republic that democratically elects
- 47:38Speaker 1: its leaders. I don't know why so many politicians on
- 47:41Speaker 1: both supposedly both sides of the sense always say where
- 47:44Speaker 1: they're protecting democracy, democracy is rob rule. If you read
- 47:47Speaker 1: the Founding Fathers. We we have the right to see
- 47:56Speaker 1: justice done for Tina Peters. I will come short of
- 48:00Speaker 1: saying what you just said, but I do know people
- 48:02Speaker 1: who would sign would sign up to do that, and
- 48:06Speaker 1: I'm praying that God moves it. See, the evil people
- 48:09Speaker 1: want to break up the United States of America, so
- 48:11Speaker 1: they do a grecious things like this to people like
- 48:13Speaker 1: Tina Peters to kind of incite people like us to
- 48:16Speaker 1: take up arms, and there are other legal ways for
- 48:19Speaker 1: this to happen. But Colorado, You're right, they're violating the law.
- 48:23Speaker 1: And our federal government has the obligation by the Constitution
- 48:27Speaker 1: to secure that each state is securing for its citizens
- 48:31Speaker 1: a republican form of government, which means government is supposed
- 48:34Speaker 1: to be administering itself in ways that protects the people's
- 48:38Speaker 1: Ten Commandment's rights. I'm with you on this. I'm praying
- 48:41Speaker 1: some very very strong prayers, God, prayers. God confound the
- 48:45Speaker 1: plans of the wicked, the evil. If they want to
- 48:47Speaker 1: bring upon her, I pray that you are turned upon them. Lord,
- 48:50Speaker 1: you broke Peter out of jail, You broke Paul out
- 48:52Speaker 1: of jail. And sometimes during these jail breaks, which by
- 48:55Speaker 1: the way, if God separated himself from the states, he
- 48:57Speaker 1: wouldn't be breaking his people out of jail some of
- 49:00Speaker 1: these jail bricks, if some of the guards got killed
- 49:02Speaker 1: behind that. So I'm really I want to see God move.
- 49:06Speaker 1: This is his country. He started this country through Bible
- 49:09Speaker 1: believing people we have Ten Commandments rights. Donald Trump is
- 49:12Speaker 1: dumbedy kenn at the federal level. It is now time
- 49:15Speaker 1: for the federal government to secure the people of Colorado
- 49:19Speaker 1: State their right to have a republican form of government
- 49:22Speaker 1: that administers the Ten Commandments rights which enumerate our inaible
- 49:27Speaker 1: rights reference in the Declaration of Independence. Monuscule and other people.
- 49:30Speaker 1: Hobbes called them our natural rights, and though they the
- 49:34Speaker 1: rights come from God. I had a city council never,
- 49:37Speaker 1: not too terribly long ago, called me back to the
- 49:39Speaker 1: microphone and said, I take issue with that. Letitia James
- 49:42Speaker 1: in our state had written a skating report against the
- 49:46Speaker 1: city of Saratoga Springs and said that she sided with BLM.
- 49:51Speaker 1: I told this city councilman, well, she's not my queen.
- 49:54Speaker 1: My rights don't come from her. And I resent you
- 49:56Speaker 1: people trying to use the color of my skin to
- 50:00Speaker 1: there's people to violate the Ten Commandments against anybody, whether
- 50:03Speaker 1: they're black, white, brown, ve Jesus loves the little children,
- 50:06Speaker 1: all the children of the world, right and yellow, black
- 50:09Speaker 1: and white. They are precious in It's like Jesus loves
- 50:11Speaker 1: the little children of the world. Stop trying to use
- 50:14Speaker 1: the color of my skin to do these things. If
- 50:17Speaker 1: you stop that, you might not see me at your
- 50:19Speaker 1: city council meetings.
- 50:23Speaker 2: Word, how not only that city Council has done that,
- 50:28Speaker 2: but many groups come along, have come along since the
- 50:30Speaker 2: Bastardized rights movement in the nineteen sixties to use blacks
- 50:36Speaker 2: as a methodology to further their group, or their ideology
- 50:42Speaker 2: or their lifestyle. It began with the feminist movement after
- 50:47Speaker 2: the Civil Rights movement or a bastardized rights movement. Then
- 50:50Speaker 2: the homosexuals, now the trainees, and it goes on and
- 50:53Speaker 2: on and on. I won't say what's I believe is
- 50:57Speaker 2: going to come next, because I it's something that I
- 50:59Speaker 2: prayed ever happens. But what now, I.
- 51:07Speaker 1: Said, don't give them any ideas, don't say.
- 51:09Speaker 2: Oh I'm not I'm not. Yeah, wisdom here. But you know,
- 51:14Speaker 2: we've only got about a minute or so. But we'd
- 51:17Speaker 2: love for you to close us out in a prayer
- 51:19Speaker 2: for the Christmas season, that God protects us at this
- 51:23Speaker 2: time and just how God leads you. We have about
- 51:26Speaker 2: a minute.
- 51:26Speaker 1: I believe, Lord Jesus, I know that I'm getting text
- 51:31Speaker 1: messages from Christian leaders and lo, we are all praying people.
- 51:34Speaker 1: I pray to you, unite our hearts together in Christ.
- 51:37Speaker 1: Give us your heart for each other, especially the heart
- 51:40Speaker 1: that Jesus Christ passed for us. Lord, we want to
- 51:42Speaker 1: walk in the spirit that wrote your Bible. We want
- 51:45Speaker 1: to comply with it. Father, I believe that if you
- 51:47Speaker 1: work in our hearts and minds so we think your
- 51:49Speaker 1: biblical thoughts, we will get emotional responses that are consistent
- 51:53Speaker 1: with the fruits of the spirit, love, joy, peace, patients, etc. Father,
- 51:57Speaker 1: I thank you for Brother Ron for all these years
- 51:59Speaker 1: that he is it up, and he is he has
- 52:01Speaker 1: proclaimed your message and how the Bible applies to every
- 52:05Speaker 1: aspect of life, including civics. I pray Lord it you
- 52:07Speaker 1: would grace us through this Christmas season and into the
- 52:10Speaker 1: new year. Give us renewed vision, give us renewed hope,
- 52:14Speaker 1: strengthen us. God, speak to our hearts with clarity, so
- 52:18Speaker 1: that we can march forward and proclaim that Jesus Christ
- 52:22Speaker 1: died for our sins, for our violations of your ten commandments,
- 52:26Speaker 1: and that those same commandments are the rights that you
- 52:29Speaker 1: give me the people here in our beloved USA. And
- 52:31Speaker 1: I pray for grace and mercy for our country. Give
- 52:33Speaker 1: us one more chance. We pray, Lord, work in the
- 52:36Speaker 1: hearts and minds as the people of America, so that
- 52:39Speaker 1: they honor your commandments. We ask these things in Jesus' name,
- 52:42Speaker 1: elevate Christ through us so that more can come to Him.
- 52:44Speaker 1: In Jesus name, we pray, and all God's people say amen.
- 52:49Speaker 2: Well, now that I see that, my time is a
- 52:51Speaker 2: thank you so much for your time, And as I
- 52:52Speaker 2: always urge you, my friends, to pray for your nation,
- 52:55Speaker 2: your friends, your family, and even your enemies, that they
- 52:58Speaker 2: get it right before it's too late. All shall be
- 53:00Speaker 2: judged treats the same way you want to be treated.
- 53:03Speaker 2: Until next time. I'm Ron Edwards, excelsior, you would.
- 53:25Speaker 1: Be the US all folk tags at stage rights.
- 53:39Speaker 11: There was just one problem with swan Quarter, North Carolina.
- 53:44Speaker 11: It was a lowland town. Naturally, the choicest real estate
- 53:49Speaker 11: was on the highest ground. In the event of a
- 53:51Speaker 11: heavy rain, closer you were to sea level, the harder
- 53:54Speaker 11: you got hit. But more than one hundred years ago,
- 53:56Speaker 11: the Methodists of swan Quarter had no church. Only lot
- 54:00Speaker 11: available on which to build one was a plot of
- 54:03Speaker 11: low lying property on Oyster Creek Road. It was far
- 54:07Speaker 11: from an ideal location, but they had acquired the land
- 54:13Speaker 11: and construction began. The church was to be white frame, small,
- 54:17Speaker 11: but sturdy propped up on brick pilings. In eighteen seventy six,
- 54:22Speaker 11: the building was completed and on Sunday, September sixteen, a
- 54:28Speaker 11: joyous dedication ceremony was celebrated. Now that was Sunday, September sixteen.
- 54:36Speaker 11: Three days later, this was on a Wednesday. A terrible
- 54:40Speaker 11: storm lashed swan Quarter all day. The wind howled and
- 54:45Speaker 11: the rain came down, and it was a gray wall
- 54:50Speaker 11: of water by nightfall devastation. Much of the town was flooded.
- 54:54Speaker 11: Many roofs were ripped from homes by cyclonic turbulence. The
- 54:58Speaker 11: storm raged on all through the night and into the
- 55:00Speaker 11: bleak morning. By Thursday afternoon, the wind subsided, the rain
- 55:05Speaker 11: had all but stopped for the first time in more
- 55:08Speaker 11: than a day. There was an almost eerie calm, and
- 55:11Speaker 11: one by one the citizens of swan Quarter threw back
- 55:14Speaker 11: the shutters and peered out from what was left of
- 55:18Speaker 11: their homes, and most saw only a desolate waterscape, a
- 55:23Speaker 11: community ravaged by nature. But those within sight of Oyster
- 55:27Speaker 11: Creek Road beheld the most incredible sight that they had
- 55:31Speaker 11: ever seen. The church, the swan Quarter Methodist Church, the
- 55:36Speaker 11: whole building intact, was floating down the street. I mean
- 55:42Speaker 11: the floodwaters had gently lifted the entire structure from its
- 55:45Speaker 11: brick pilings on which it had rested, and had sent
- 55:49Speaker 11: it off slowly, silently down Oyster Creek Road. Well within minutes,
- 55:57Speaker 11: several concerned townspeople were slashing about in the street, waste
- 56:02Speaker 11: deep fighting the rushing current, trying desperately to reach the
- 56:06Speaker 11: still moving church so that they could moor it with
- 56:09Speaker 11: lengths of rope, and the ropes were fastened, but the
- 56:12Speaker 11: effort was in vain.
- 56:14Speaker 2: There was no.
- 56:15Speaker 11: Stable structure secure enough to restrain the floating chapel, and
- 56:20Speaker 11: as the building passed by, more attention was attracted, so
- 56:25Speaker 11: more aid was enlisted, but again to no avail. The
- 56:28Speaker 11: church moved on. By now the building had made it
- 56:33Speaker 11: to the center of town. It's still on Oyster Creek Road. Then,
- 56:37Speaker 11: as dozens of amazed and helpless people watched the Swan
- 56:43Speaker 11: Quarter Methodist Church, It's still floating, made a sharp, inexplicable
- 56:48Speaker 11: right turn. Continued down that road as though the chapel
- 56:52Speaker 11: were alive, as though it had a mind of its own.
- 56:55Speaker 11: For two more blocks the townspeople fought the ropes to
- 56:59Speaker 11: hold it back, but unsuccessfully, and then in the same
- 57:03Speaker 11: decisive manner with which it had moved in the first place.
- 57:05Speaker 11: The church veered off the road and headed for the
- 57:09Speaker 11: center of a vacant lot, and there it stopped. While
- 57:15Speaker 11: the floodwaters receded, the church remained, and it is there
- 57:20Speaker 11: to this day. Well over one hundred septembers have passed
- 57:27Speaker 11: since the little white frame Methodist Church removed itself to
- 57:30Speaker 11: the most desirable property in Swan Quarter. And in the
- 57:36Speaker 11: process of making up your own mind as to why
- 57:40Speaker 11: and how what happened happened, you need to know this
- 57:44Speaker 11: much more. The choice highland lot where the chapel finally settled,
- 57:50Speaker 11: that had been the first choice of the town Methodists.
- 57:53Speaker 11: They had wanted that as the site for their church,
- 57:56Speaker 11: but the shrewd prosperous land owner whose property it was
- 58:03Speaker 11: had turned them down. And yet the next morning after
- 58:08Speaker 11: the flood, after discovering the church in the middle of
- 58:11Speaker 11: his lot, that same landowner went to the Methodist minister
- 58:15Speaker 11: and with trembling hands, presented him with the deed.
- 58:21Speaker 2: And now you know the rest of the story.
