Today we're going to do a little review of words we learned before, but with a fresh twist. Luna: Oh, I love reviews. Which words? Lucas: Remember when we talked about weather? We learned ዝናብ for rain and ፀሐይ for sun. Luna: Right, ዝናብ and ፀሐይ. Those are good ones. Lucas: Let's say them again slowly. ዝናብ. Luna: ዝናብ. Lucas: And ፀሐይ. Luna: ፀሐይ. That one's a bit tricky with the ሐ. Lucas: You got it. Now let's put them into simple sentences. Today we're going to say 'It's sunny today' and 'It's raining now.' Luna: Useful for small talk. Lucas: Exactly. So first, ዛሬ ፀሐይ ነው. That means 'Today is sunny.' Luna: ዛሬ ፀሐይ ነው. Lucas: Nice. Now for the rain, we say አሁን ዝናብ እየዘነበ ነው. That's 'It's raining now.' Luna: አሁን ዝናብ እየዘነበ ነው. Wow, that's long. Lucas: Yeah, it's a bit of a mouthful, but you'll get it with practice. Luna: Let me try again. አሁን ዝናብ እየዘነበ ነው. Lucas: Perfect. Let's do a quick scene. Imagine you're walking outside and it's sunny. You say to your friend... Luna: ዛሬ ፀሐይ ነው. Lucas: Then suddenly it starts raining. You say... Luna: አሁን ዝናብ እየዘነበ ነው. Lucas: Perfect.
