- 1:17Speaker 2: You didn't know?
- 1:18Speaker 6: You you just skipped the preseason and watched you watch
- 1:22Speaker 6: two games back to back.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I had watched two games back to.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Back all summer.
- 1:27Speaker 2: You hadn't done any preseason.
- 1:30Speaker 4: You thought that something on sething camp had your right
- 1:34Speaker 4: gont be scrimmage?
- 1:36Speaker 1: They had I thought I was ready.
- 1:38Speaker 4: Them eight plays you played against Tampa Bay down in
- 1:41Speaker 4: the little team unit. You just knew you was in shape.
- 1:46Speaker 4: I watched that whole heart knock. So let's take a
- 1:49Speaker 4: deep breath all together. Man, I'm trying to tell you, boy,
- 1:54Speaker 4: I'm I'm, I'm whoo who I needed on a cartoon man,
- 2:01Speaker 4: put on some road runner. I mean it's I didn't
- 2:05Speaker 4: know I got that far out of shape. I thought,
- 2:08Speaker 4: you know, cause you be thinking, man, look who can't
- 2:12Speaker 4: handle three days of football all day?
- 2:16Speaker 2: I can.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I was full speed ahead.
- 2:18Speaker 7: Then yesterday I caught myself nodding at the end of
- 2:22Speaker 7: the Falcon and the Steelers waking up to the Browns
- 2:26Speaker 7: and the Cowboys, like I.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Was actually at the still little Falcon game and told
- 2:30Speaker 4: my boy, man, that was a long half, right, we
- 2:38Speaker 4: out of shape, We all out of shape. So give
- 2:40Speaker 4: yourself a break. Don't throw your team under the bus
- 2:45Speaker 4: yet like you're doing senders. Oh I mean not like
- 2:50Speaker 4: I mean like Dion, But I'm just saying hold on, hold.
- 2:56Speaker 1: On and this old classic song called hold On or
- 3:00Speaker 1: something like that. Yeah, at that Sam and Dave Dead Sam,
- 3:06Speaker 1: Dave Wilson, Philly, it was.
- 3:08Speaker 4: One of them. At some point I don't know, Wilson,
- 3:14Speaker 4: which one is that?
- 3:16Speaker 1: Hold on for one more day? Okay, give me the
- 3:19Speaker 1: what's the other one? Hold down? Hold on? Hold on?
- 3:25Speaker 1: You know? Have you wherever? Give us the R and B.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Four o'clock yesterday I got a whole bunch of texts. Man,
- 3:32Speaker 4: they was already ready to throw their team down. I'm
- 3:35Speaker 4: in there thinking it's just week one. Somebody that we
- 3:40Speaker 4: know was complaining about their team. Yes, everybody has the
- 3:46Speaker 4: gold player game. Most people. Most of the people you
- 3:49Speaker 4: saw yesterday, you was just happy to see. You hadn't
- 3:52Speaker 4: seen them since last football season because nobody played in
- 3:55Speaker 4: the preseason.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Nobody.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Kirk Cousin ran out the hold on them for the Falcons.
- 3:59Speaker 4: I was like, what is going on?
- 4:01Speaker 1: I had.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Last thing I saw Kurt was on a cart, no
- 4:04Speaker 4: matter his achilles. He went from a cart with an
- 4:07Speaker 4: achilles practiced.
- 4:09Speaker 2: I didn't know.
- 4:09Speaker 4: I'm trying to tell you I hadn't seen a news clip.
- 4:12Speaker 4: It was like a surprise appearance in the game. But
- 4:16Speaker 4: Tom Brady trying to get his footing. We got to
- 4:18Speaker 4: talk about that as well in the in the world
- 4:22Speaker 4: of sports.
- 4:23Speaker 1: But Big Kenny and his J. E. T. S Chets Jets.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Jets take on the forty nine Ers tonight.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Because important teams play on Monday night. So what are
- 4:36Speaker 4: the Vegas odds for Ann Rodgers. Let's not let's not
- 4:41Speaker 4: do that plus or are you taking the over or
- 4:44Speaker 4: under on how many snaps we've taken? This beyond Vegas, sir,
- 4:51Speaker 4: this is this is beyond Vegas now, this is a
- 4:54Speaker 4: Vatican issue.
- 4:56Speaker 1: We've taken such I was the.
- 4:59Speaker 4: Thought I was Paleo the Joshua Tree.
- 5:04Speaker 1: What's the drug?
- 5:12Speaker 7: Well, we waiting no clearance for that from the Pope.
- 5:16Speaker 1: But we're not placing no bets. We won't.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Just positive vibes only for tonight, just positive, just positive vibes.
- 5:24Speaker 7: I'm looking for just a strong three step drop. That's
- 5:29Speaker 7: all I want to see. Just him come out the
- 5:31Speaker 7: first three step drop and everything goes well, and then
- 5:34Speaker 7: we can all breathe.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Collective sigh relief. You're betting on the three step drop
- 5:39Speaker 4: going well, going well?
- 5:41Speaker 7: Yes, I'm hoping that it's not the season ending three
- 5:44Speaker 7: step drop.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Eight fifteen.
- 5:46Speaker 4: The Jets versus the forty nine Ers tonight should be
- 5:49Speaker 4: a classic two teams one who thought they were going
- 5:53Speaker 4: to do big things last year missed out with Aaron Rodgers.
- 5:56Speaker 4: And remember because how quickly in our society we do forget,
- 6:02Speaker 4: and with age comes complications of a lot of things,
- 6:07Speaker 4: good and bad. Things can get better, yes, but they
- 6:12Speaker 4: do break down. Even though they're getting better, they're breaking down.
- 6:17Speaker 4: So when you age cheese or wine, it gets better,
- 6:21Speaker 4: but it is breaking down. That's the process of it.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Aaron Rodgers is standing on the doorstep knocking hard at
- 6:30Speaker 4: forty two. Also, he missed last year, So you're taking
- 6:38Speaker 4: a forty plus quarterback that missed last year that is
- 6:42Speaker 4: about on year eighteen. And be patient, don't just because
- 6:53Speaker 4: that's how we're so impatient. We want it to look
- 6:56Speaker 4: like Green Bay two thousand in nine, like it just
- 7:02Speaker 4: was gonna show up, Like, yeah, it's just gonna look good. Now,
- 7:06Speaker 4: I just gave you a recipe that sounded like, man,
- 7:08Speaker 4: that might be.
- 7:09Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm saying, I'm tired from a summer of not
- 7:14Speaker 7: watching football, so I know from a entire season of
- 7:18Speaker 7: not playing.
- 7:19Speaker 4: He's taking on the forty nine ers, who once again
- 7:22Speaker 4: have high hopes with that staff, Brandon Iu, Deebo Samuels
- 7:28Speaker 4: and that whole defense. When you look at that team
- 7:32Speaker 4: as I said last year to me, their thing is
- 7:35Speaker 4: about health. The healthier they are, like you know, four
- 7:38Speaker 4: or five teams each year, the more you put them
- 7:41Speaker 4: towards what you think will be a Super Bowl down
- 7:44Speaker 4: in New Orands. But that is tonight the Jets versus
- 7:50Speaker 4: the forty niners. But what a weekend it was. As
- 7:54Speaker 4: I said, we were all out of shape. I've been
- 7:58Speaker 4: calling games on Friday. I had to watch Saturday, Sunday,
- 8:02Speaker 4: Thursday nights action with the Chiefs. We forget about that.
- 8:07Speaker 4: That's how far back we've been watching football. That's the
- 8:11Speaker 4: Week one And that was Week one, which was four
- 8:14Speaker 4: or five days ago. And with that game, Lamar Jackson
- 8:19Speaker 4: doing big time battle with Patrick Mahomes, Derrick Henry, a
- 8:24Speaker 4: whole bunch of stars out there.
- 8:26Speaker 1: It was a physical game. It was a lot going
- 8:28Speaker 1: on this week. It was a lot. It was. It
- 8:30Speaker 1: was tired.
- 8:31Speaker 7: I had to experience it hadn't had it all season,
- 8:35Speaker 7: all summer, trying to prepare for a comedy show and
- 8:39Speaker 7: watch the football game. Usually I'm trying to get my
- 8:41Speaker 7: mental space. But now they got the game on.
- 8:45Speaker 4: It was the with the Packers Eagles on Friday night.
- 8:49Speaker 7: On Friday Night so I'm you know, getting in my space. Okay,
- 8:53Speaker 7: let's go. What is the first down? Oh right, okay, okay,
- 8:56Speaker 7: get back in your space. Wait wait is that attack?
- 9:00Speaker 7: And like and I realized, like I hadn't had to
- 9:03Speaker 7: do that the entire summer, nothing's been that distracting. But
- 9:06Speaker 7: here we are football season, and uh, it's all back again.
- 9:10Speaker 4: It is back in full display. As I said, they
- 9:14Speaker 4: kicked it off Thursday, and that's when the whole Taylor
- 9:17Speaker 4: Swift and just a little dab of it. Don't wear
- 9:22Speaker 4: it out. That's the only thing about. We so want
- 9:27Speaker 4: to wear things out. Like it used to be. You
- 9:31Speaker 4: play a song once an hour that was regular repeat.
- 9:38Speaker 3: All hits, all the time, and now it's Prints ninety
- 9:42Speaker 3: ninety nine at the top of the hour, every hour,
- 9:47Speaker 3: and that was it you you waited for the whole hour,
- 9:50Speaker 3: And now.
- 9:51Speaker 4: It's no how many times no, no, no, no. Have
- 9:55Speaker 4: you gone to run an errand listening to a song?
- 10:03Speaker 4: Get out, run that aeron grocery store, whatever you're doing
- 10:08Speaker 4: for that fifteen twenty twenty five minutes, come back.
- 10:13Speaker 7: And that song is on. They not like us, They
- 10:16Speaker 7: not like us. They not hot hits all the time.
- 10:20Speaker 7: That'll be fifteen twenty two. Sir, oh ma'am, this is
- 10:23Speaker 7: the wrong one. Can I go back and get it? Yeah, okay,
- 10:26Speaker 7: thank you, no, just exchange your baby. We ain't got
- 10:28Speaker 7: to do all of that. Thank you so much. You
- 10:30Speaker 7: have a good day, all right, you too. They not
- 10:32Speaker 7: like us, They not like us. You're like, wait a minute,
- 10:36Speaker 7: like this, like how just the extended version?
- 10:39Speaker 4: But so I'm saying that, just give us a dab
- 10:41Speaker 4: of the Kelsey Taylor Swift show. That's not that's been
- 10:47Speaker 4: here and there now we don't need to see them everywhere.
- 10:50Speaker 4: And we appreciate it now, we like it infused into
- 10:54Speaker 4: the drink. But it's just supposed to be a splash
- 10:58Speaker 4: of watermelon.
- 10:59Speaker 7: No, no, no, not the whole rhyme. Yeah, and now
- 11:03Speaker 7: we it's watermelon festival times. You see what I'm saying.
- 11:07Speaker 7: That's the world we live in. We go from splash
- 11:10Speaker 7: watermelon to watermelon. More is better, right, more? More, more
- 11:16Speaker 7: than more is better.
- 11:18Speaker 4: No golden crabbing trying that for years more is better,
- 11:22Speaker 4: and that's not actually true.
- 11:24Speaker 1: They've just been trying it.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Less is better, maybe cooked less and make it better
- 11:30Speaker 4: than cooking so much more worse no.
- 11:33Speaker 1: You can't tell me that these six roasts ain't quality.
- 11:38Speaker 2: We'll be back more than sports shock showings.
- 11:40Speaker 4: We catch our breath still one more game in week
- 11:43Speaker 4: one tonight forty nine ers Jets right after this.
- 12:03Speaker 8: Don't Go Away or of the Sports Junt Show with
- 12:06Speaker 8: Wayne Dantidius comming.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Up next, are gonna got wet.

- 14:59Speaker 13: This year, where highlight an appolete that has taken their
- 15:02Speaker 13: game to the next level.
- 15:24Speaker 1: What makes it?
- 15:24Speaker 4: This war Shock Shop, this War Shock Wing Gain d
- 15:28Speaker 4: NFL Week one still going tonight Monday Night Football. We
- 15:33Speaker 4: talked about Thursday's action between the Chiefs and the Ravens
- 15:39Speaker 4: that went down to that last play. The Chiefs were
- 15:41Speaker 4: able to win. On Friday down in Brazil, the Packers
- 15:48Speaker 4: and Eagles did battle. The Packers lost their starting quarterback,
- 15:53Speaker 4: Jordan Love looks like a three to four week injury.
- 15:57Speaker 4: We will see as he progressed, is how fast a
- 16:01Speaker 4: quarterback can come back. One thing I want to take
- 16:06Speaker 4: time to talk about is Tarik Hill and the issue
- 16:17Speaker 4: that he had before the game yesterday that the Dolphins
- 16:23Speaker 4: won over the Jaguars twenty to seventeen. Now, help me
- 16:29Speaker 4: walk me through this. Both of you, if you've had
- 16:31Speaker 4: experience most of us, who are you know? I have
- 16:35Speaker 4: to speak for myself. We've all been pulled over for
- 16:38Speaker 4: a speeding violation, whether that's speeding, whether that's wrong turn,
- 16:46Speaker 4: you know, tag out something. Very few people, I would
- 16:51Speaker 4: imagine that's over the age of twenty one.
- 16:54Speaker 2: He's never been pulled over.
- 16:57Speaker 4: Explain to me, guys, because I've never been to the
- 17:00Speaker 4: point of in handcuffs. I've always followed a strict procedure
- 17:08Speaker 4: when it comes to law enforcement, mainly the ownership that
- 17:14Speaker 4: it is my job to protect myself as best as
- 17:19Speaker 4: I can to get through any kind of issue in
- 17:23Speaker 4: this situation, which for me is more of go along
- 17:30Speaker 4: to get along. There's no jury out here on the
- 17:33Speaker 4: side of the road. There's no need to sit here
- 17:36Speaker 4: and ask a whole bunch of questions that regardless. It's
- 17:43Speaker 4: almost like playing football. How many times they pick up
- 17:47Speaker 4: the flag? I mean, that's not really Once he calls holding,
- 17:50Speaker 4: I can go back there and yell all day. So
- 17:55Speaker 4: when I look at this with Tyreek and I'm just
- 17:57Speaker 4: taking the time because I don't Right now, all we
- 18:00Speaker 4: know is what Tyreek Hill and the law officers say.
- 18:03Speaker 4: They did take one of the law officers and they
- 18:06Speaker 4: put them on administrative leave. But from what you read,
- 18:12Speaker 4: how did Tyreek heal Because from his disposition, specially after
- 18:18Speaker 4: winning and catching a big touchdown, he gives you this
- 18:22Speaker 4: illusion that everything was on the officers.
- 18:28Speaker 2: In the wrong way.
- 18:30Speaker 4: So in a common environment, how does one nobody being biased,
- 18:38Speaker 4: no one being racist, no one being sexist. Let's just
- 18:44Speaker 4: walk through an individualist speeding. Law officer sees that person speeding,
- 18:55Speaker 4: pulls that person over. How does that person from that
- 19:02Speaker 4: point end up outside of the car in handcuffs? If
- 19:12Speaker 4: everything is above board, Um, walk up to the car, sir,
- 19:22Speaker 4: How you doing it?
- 19:23Speaker 1: Kenny?
- 19:24Speaker 7: And then all of a sudden, not the guns are
- 19:27Speaker 7: out in the handcuffs. But there had to be something
- 19:31Speaker 7: more than Now this is the thing. Two things can
- 19:37Speaker 7: be true. Tyreek Hill said that he didn't use any
- 19:40Speaker 7: profanity with the officers, but that doesn't mean that he
- 19:44Speaker 7: didn't use aggressive language. The officer said that he was
- 19:49Speaker 7: pulled over for reckless driving was ultimately what they said
- 19:54Speaker 7: the offense was, and that doesn't mean that they couldn't
- 20:00Speaker 7: have suspected that it couldn't have been more at the
- 20:03Speaker 7: end of the day. So uh, in these situations, I've
- 20:09Speaker 7: been on both sides. I've been the person that has
- 20:12Speaker 7: been what you stopping me from? Man, you know, you
- 20:15Speaker 7: know I got.
- 20:16Speaker 4: That's and that's why I'm taking the time right now,
- 20:19Speaker 4: and we're gonna because I want to really kind of
- 20:22Speaker 4: visualize like you're saying from Tyreek Heal's this position, all
- 20:31Speaker 4: of this is on the officers in an overreaction from
- 20:37Speaker 4: how he's describing it, at least for now. But in
- 20:42Speaker 4: a case where you were speeding or you were reckless driving,
- 20:46Speaker 4: I come up to the car, like you said, excuse me, sir, hey,
- 20:51Speaker 4: I pulled you ove over.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Can I have your license and registration?
- 20:54Speaker 7: You know who I am. You don't need my license?
- 20:57Speaker 7: You know what it is. I got to go win
- 20:59Speaker 7: this game. Come on, man, come on, man, let's go.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Bruh.
- 21:02Speaker 4: You out here playing, Sir, I pulled you over for
- 21:08Speaker 4: speeding and reckless driving. Could I please have your license
- 21:12Speaker 4: and registration?
- 21:14Speaker 1: Bruh?
- 21:14Speaker 7: This this car cost two fifty. Of course, I'm gonna
- 21:17Speaker 7: be going a little bit. I'm trying to get to
- 21:19Speaker 7: the game. I'm Tyreek Hill. Google me, Google me. You
- 21:22Speaker 7: know what's up with me? The Cheetah fastest animal on
- 21:25Speaker 7: the planet.
- 21:26Speaker 4: B Well, comanchie Cheetah said he didn't speak in that
- 21:32Speaker 4: kind of He didn't raise his voice, he said he didn't.
- 21:35Speaker 2: He didn't even say say he was Hill.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Okay, so it must have went like.
- 21:39Speaker 6: This, Hey, you colored boy, get out.

- 24:44Speaker 11: She thought she'd never have a permanent place to call home.
- 24:49Speaker 20: Before I was adopted, I felt like I wasn't enough.
- 24:52Speaker 20: I had this hole in my heart and I never

- 25:00Speaker 20: It feels so normal now to say that I'm a

- 26:08Speaker 4: Can walk back to the What Shock Shot? This What
- 26:12Speaker 4: Shock Wing game? A good morning to you on this
- 26:16Speaker 4: beautiful Monday morning after the first weekend of NFL Action tonight,
- 26:21Speaker 4: Uh the Jets taking on the forty nine ers out
- 26:24Speaker 4: in the bay.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Wid, I guess it's in the bay.
- 26:27Speaker 4: I have to make sure because you know they'll play
- 26:29Speaker 4: an international game week won a sure. I mean I
- 26:33Speaker 4: don't understand the NFL. I mean, I mean, I guess
- 26:35Speaker 4: they got to pay Dak Prescott, but they I'm just saying,
- 26:40Speaker 4: I mean, because who starts the season internationally? Like, we
- 26:45Speaker 4: ain't even got going yet. Everybody ain't even coordinated right
- 26:48Speaker 4: right my first day at work?
- 26:50Speaker 23: Where is it gonna be braziled? What I'm catching the bus?
- 26:56Speaker 23: They did that for the preseason. I mean they used to. Yeah,
- 26:58Speaker 23: the preseason, That's what I'm saying.
- 27:00Speaker 4: That's when rosters are But that first game, the first
- 27:03Speaker 4: game should be on a US soil and then we
- 27:07Speaker 4: go from there.
- 27:08Speaker 1: But the greed is just at his prime.
- 27:11Speaker 4: We left talking about Tyreek Hill just on a basis
- 27:14Speaker 4: of how the situation end up in handcuffs. As I
- 27:19Speaker 4: have said, I stick to her strict routine. I have
- 27:22Speaker 4: been pulled over when I was eighteen nineteen years old
- 27:25Speaker 4: and I was asked to get out of the car
- 27:30Speaker 4: when I was headed towards from Auburn to Florida. The
- 27:34Speaker 4: gentleman asked me because, as his explanation was, it was
- 27:39Speaker 4: three other people in the car, so he wanted to
- 27:42Speaker 4: just talk to me. He didn't want all the other noise.
- 27:44Speaker 4: He didn't touch me, handcuffed me. He would just rather
- 27:47Speaker 4: have the conversation outside of the car. Gently went back there,
- 27:52Speaker 4: had the conversation and went on about our business. My
- 27:56Speaker 4: question was, from what Tyreek Hill is saying, and we
- 27:59Speaker 4: don't know the all for suicide, I'm quite sure probably
- 28:01Speaker 4: is a camera or a voice box or something that
- 28:05Speaker 4: is going to clear up more of this is that
- 28:09Speaker 4: he's throwing up his hands as though nothing was wrong
- 28:13Speaker 4: on his part other than maybe the speeding that escalated
- 28:18Speaker 4: this to him being handcuffed walked behind the car. Now,
- 28:21Speaker 4: remember we just went through this three months ago with
- 28:25Speaker 4: Scottie Scheffler. He was arrested, yes, and booked and detained, yes,
- 28:32Speaker 4: all in one in the rain I think it was
- 28:34Speaker 4: raining that morning. And then they let him go, didn't it.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Yeah, because he made it in time for tea time
- 28:40Speaker 1: for tea time.
- 28:40Speaker 4: But he was because he was voiced voicing his opinion
- 28:44Speaker 4: to the officer that wouldn't let him in the gate.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Isn't that kind of how the story? He was trying
- 28:51Speaker 1: to get.
- 28:51Speaker 7: In the entrance, and you know he sort of, like
- 28:55Speaker 7: Tyreek Keel says, you know excuse.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Me, officer. I hate to disturb you while you're so
- 29:01Speaker 4: busy at your job, sir, but I'm the number one
- 29:04Speaker 4: golfer in the world. Would you please allow me to
- 29:07Speaker 4: enter so that I might compete in international competition to
- 29:10Speaker 4: win more millions of dollars?
- 29:12Speaker 1: Please?
- 29:13Speaker 4: I don't know if that's our Scottie would Hey, hey, hey,
- 29:17Speaker 4: fat man, trying to get to my job.
- 29:20Speaker 6: You don't mind, can you get out the way a officer? Look,
- 29:27Speaker 6: fat boy, you gotta donut to eat somewhere.
- 29:31Speaker 4: Tyri Hill ends up a couple of teammates, Cleios Campbell,
- 29:35Speaker 4: who was here last year with the Falcons, longtime NFL
- 29:38Speaker 4: baller d Lineman about sixteen years in the league now,
- 29:42Speaker 4: and Juno Smith, both which I don't understand YouTube, gentlemen,
- 29:49Speaker 4: because sometimes you gotta be a dope. You don't get
- 29:54Speaker 4: to go inject yourself into a police.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Situation. That's what the other Folk cops came from.
- 30:00Speaker 2: You. I had No Brown.
- 30:06Speaker 4: On the ground in his drug car with all this
- 30:09Speaker 4: drug jerry on, and then he come the rest of
- 30:11Speaker 4: the car tail jumping.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Out talking about hey hey, hey bro.
- 30:15Speaker 4: Fee free my bro and things got Because that part
- 30:19Speaker 4: sounds like they like they were at high school. Come on, man,
- 30:23Speaker 4: and these people were security guards. This is the Florida
- 30:26Speaker 4: Highway Patrol. And understanding that part I didn't get at
- 30:31Speaker 4: all where you thought you were gonna jump out of
- 30:33Speaker 4: your car and plead Like I said, what is all
- 30:36Speaker 4: this pleading about?
- 30:37Speaker 1: Listen, listen, I'll tell you this whole. What is about this?
- 30:40Speaker 4: I'm gonna talk myself out of a situation.
- 30:43Speaker 7: I'll tell you what it's about, sir. It's about the
- 30:47Speaker 7: ardent belief. And I know because in all of these situations,
- 30:52Speaker 7: it goes from simple traffic stop to escalate me in jail.
- 30:57Speaker 7: That's all of my situations escalate to me in jail.
- 31:00Speaker 7: And it's because I lose. I lose the moments. I
- 31:03Speaker 7: lose that moment I have a moment where I could
- 31:07Speaker 7: keep calm and get along, to go along as you
- 31:11Speaker 7: were saying. Or I can count on what I don't
- 31:15Speaker 7: heard countless times on TV and in conversations with my friends,
- 31:20Speaker 7: and how.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Oh man, they can't do that to you.
- 31:23Speaker 4: If you know your rights, all you got to ask
- 31:26Speaker 4: them is about heyb is delect die? And then they
- 31:30Speaker 4: gonna have to offer you your corbus deeringdom and now
- 31:34Speaker 4: that's me on the side. Hold on bro No, no,
- 31:38Speaker 4: what about my corbus deirnom Hey, sir, we'll have to
- 31:42Speaker 4: find that when we do the search of your car,
- 31:44Speaker 4: you want extra.
- 31:47Speaker 1: They don't even know what I'm talking about. And I'm
- 31:50Speaker 1: all on some No.
- 31:51Speaker 4: You know when Bell Pepper versus the State of George looks, sir,
- 31:55Speaker 4: wasch your head and hand. I'm sitting there like so,
- 32:00Speaker 4: I was jumping out because I love to try to picture.
- 32:03Speaker 4: And I'm gonna call I see one of you two.
- 32:05Speaker 4: I'm gonna call the NFL office. I'm gonna call the coach.
- 32:08Speaker 4: I'm gonna call to everybody I know just expedite this
- 32:12Speaker 4: situation to first and foremost protect you, because if you're
- 32:18Speaker 4: in the cuffs, I'm thinking you're not gonna make the game.
- 32:22Speaker 4: So I'm not even thinking about whether you make in
- 32:23Speaker 4: the game or not. So I'm gonna call head coach.
- 32:26Speaker 4: I'm gonna call the GM. I'm gonna call my agent
- 32:29Speaker 4: who might know your agent, and get everybody on board.
- 32:32Speaker 4: Now me stopping and gemming out my truck running over
- 32:36Speaker 4: like we some bangers come at your Greg command. We
- 32:42Speaker 4: got we got smoke. We got smoke. What you need,
- 32:45Speaker 4: what we need to do? Come at your greg, I
- 32:47Speaker 4: need to we need to activate now with this case.
- 32:50Speaker 4: I just and if any be out there, I don't
- 32:53Speaker 4: know how, and we'll get more information. We'll move on.
- 32:56Speaker 4: But from I'm just taking, I'm gonna take. I'm trying
- 32:59Speaker 4: to take. Tyreek he'll side and from his side, as
- 33:04Speaker 4: I tell you, my strick is I get pulled over.
- 33:07Speaker 2: I let all my windows down, I turned my music down.
- 33:12Speaker 4: I try to remove anything other than the procedure. And
- 33:16Speaker 4: Tyreek Hill says that he was I don't keep I
- 33:19Speaker 4: don't keep the rich homie kwan on now he had
- 33:22Speaker 4: turned it down. He said he was going by a procedure.
- 33:25Speaker 4: He was attending to had his license on the dashboard,
- 33:29Speaker 4: and dude came up and said, excuse me, boy, do
- 33:32Speaker 4: you know how fast you was going the minute to
- 33:35Speaker 4: go NAUSA?
- 33:37Speaker 1: I thought I was going to shut your lips.
- 33:41Speaker 4: That's how I commagine. Well, we will see as this
- 33:47Speaker 4: works out during the week, but an exciting way. Tyreek
- 33:50Speaker 4: Hill then went out called an eighty yard touchdown to
- 33:53Speaker 4: help the Dolphins beat the Jags with a field goal
- 33:57Speaker 4: in that game, but excepting way to start, because that
- 34:01Speaker 4: was the big news. Everybody was say, man, you heard
- 34:03Speaker 4: about Tyreek And when I first heard it, I thought
- 34:06Speaker 4: they were talking about last the Saturday night, not the
- 34:11Speaker 4: way onto the game, because I know he had the
- 34:13Speaker 4: car waxed, whatever outfit he had made specifically for this
- 34:18Speaker 4: home game.
- 34:20Speaker 7: Dope boy he had. He had he had to tank
- 34:22Speaker 7: top on with you and the chains on. Listen, listen,
- 34:27Speaker 7: and let me say this to Tygrek Hill and anybody
- 34:29Speaker 7: else who gets detained and let go. The let go
- 34:33Speaker 7: part is the win. That's that's take it from somebody
- 34:37Speaker 7: that know if they go, okay, you could go, sir,
- 34:41Speaker 7: all of that stuff in between incidental.
- 34:44Speaker 1: You get to go.
- 34:47Speaker 3: You get even if they say you'll have to come
- 34:49Speaker 3: to court, sure I'll be there, trust me and I'll
- 34:55Speaker 3: be there.
- 34:55Speaker 4: And all that dramatization of what if I wasn't Tyreek
- 34:59Speaker 4: Hill that you're adding at the press conference, What if
- 35:03Speaker 4: you were not Tyreek Hill, the incident might not have
- 35:09Speaker 4: happened at all.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Because you would have.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Misbeedn you wouldn't have been wherever you were.
- 35:15Speaker 4: So when people try to throw that little anecdote out
- 35:18Speaker 4: there like well what if I will, then that means
- 35:21Speaker 4: that that situation wouldn't have come upon us at that time.
- 35:26Speaker 4: So you were doing something that alluded the police over
- 35:31Speaker 4: to I was driving while I was black. That's all
- 35:37Speaker 4: I was doing. I was being myself, trying to live
- 35:42Speaker 4: my life as an American citizen, and racism rid it's
- 35:46Speaker 4: ugly head again. And we will see what the officers
- 35:50Speaker 4: tape and film and all that brings out before us
- 35:54Speaker 4: as the week goes on here in Atlanta. As I said,
- 35:59Speaker 4: went down to the Stiller Stiller Nation, terrible towels in
- 36:02Speaker 4: the building taking over the bensu command you Greg, Big Kenny.
- 36:07Speaker 1: I thought they had fans.
- 36:08Speaker 4: They don't really have fans until they really realized that
- 36:13Speaker 4: once a Stiller, always a Stiller.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Stiller Nation is up there.
- 36:18Speaker 4: With one of the four or five top always the Stellers, Stellers, Cowboys, Raiders.
- 36:27Speaker 4: There are those kind of crowds that will come to
- 36:29Speaker 4: your stadium and if you let them, they.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Take all your seats. This is not the three hundred section.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Fans.
- 36:40Speaker 4: These are the fans that you look right behind the bench,
- 36:43Speaker 4: like where these fifty thousand people just at.
- 36:48Speaker 1: The football game.
- 36:48Speaker 7: The show I did Friday night was an audience full
- 36:51Speaker 7: of people in Pittsburgh Steeler pairfet and it was.
- 36:55Speaker 3: Like, oh, okay, like y'all really did you had to
- 36:59Speaker 3: scratch that joke out the deaf to Steelers fans off
- 37:05Speaker 3: that that where's my Atlanta Falcon's faith?
- 37:08Speaker 7: Didger I crossed Falcon's greatest team in the world. We're
- 37:14Speaker 7: not gonna open with that.
- 37:16Speaker 4: We'll be back talk for football NFL action. Uh did
- 37:20Speaker 4: the Raiders do anything yesterday?
- 37:22Speaker 1: I got people speaking.
- 37:23Speaker 7: Of which the Raiders fans said, there's an app for
- 37:25Speaker 7: your phone that automatically starts recording and your camera starts
- 37:30Speaker 7: to play when you say I'm getting pulled over.
- 37:33Speaker 2: I don't want that app. I should have had it.
- 37:36Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll be back more to Sports Jock Show would
- 37:39Speaker 4: have frozen on me.
- 37:42Speaker 2: I wouldn't tell for most of your share parts.

- 39:29Speaker 26: Hi.
- 39:29Speaker 12: I'm Ryan Blaney, a third generational race car driver, and
- 39:32Speaker 12: we dedicate a lot of our time to going as
- 39:34Speaker 12: fast as possible. My Grandpa Loo is the reason why
- 39:36Speaker 12: my dad and I started racing, and I'm really proud
- 39:38Speaker 12: to follow on his tracks. But when my grandpa was
- 39:40Speaker 12: diagnosed with Alzheimer's, it was a very unexpected bump in the.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Road for us.
- 39:44Speaker 12: I've learned a lot on this journey with my Grandpa Lou,
- 39:46Speaker 12: and the memories of my grandpa will always be with me.
- 39:49Speaker 12: It's important to notice if older family members are acting differently,
- 39:52Speaker 12: experiencing problems with their memory, or having trouble with routine tasks.
- 39:56Speaker 12: Talking about Alzheimer's can be really tough, but if you
- 39:58Speaker 12: notice something, have a co versation with your loved one,
- 40:01Speaker 12: encourage them to see a doctor or offer to go
- 40:03Speaker 12: with them. Early detection of Alzheimer's can give your family
- 40:05Speaker 12: time to explore support services, make a plan for the
- 40:08Speaker 12: future and access available treatments. The Alzheimer's Association provides care
- 40:12Speaker 12: support and research to help you take control of the

- 41:02Speaker 27: Welcome back to the show. This war Shock Wing Gamey,
- 41:05Speaker 27: Good morning to you out there. Commanded Greg Big Kenny
- 41:07Speaker 27: in the studio.
- 41:08Speaker 4: Week one in the book for most teams, as we
- 41:11Speaker 4: talked about Falcons losing yesterday eighteen to ten to the Stealers,
- 41:16Speaker 4: really just all about field goals for the Stealers. Ugly
- 41:21Speaker 4: win as they call it. But that's Pittsburgh football. It
- 41:26Speaker 4: is one of the few teams that still just go
- 41:28Speaker 4: on the field to win. Style points kind of fade
- 41:32Speaker 4: when you are stiller. It's not about the style of it.
- 41:35Speaker 4: It's about at the end being victorious in a game
- 41:40Speaker 4: where Russell Wilson, who was predicted to start, was scratched
- 41:45Speaker 4: at the last minute. Interesting thing comentchie Greg saw that
- 41:50Speaker 4: I saw as well that he still put on his
- 41:52Speaker 4: uniform even being inactive. So for you that saw him,
- 41:58Speaker 4: it looked like he was still a le to go in.
- 42:01Speaker 4: But as far as I know, he was inactive, which
- 42:04Speaker 4: means that he just had the uniform on.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Now.
- 42:07Speaker 4: I don't know if that will be some violation that
- 42:10Speaker 4: you might hear about this week for a fine for
- 42:14Speaker 4: them doing that as an organization or him individually, but
- 42:17Speaker 4: typically when you're inactive, they just give you the hoodie
- 42:21Speaker 4: or shorts or whatever you want. You don't put on
- 42:23Speaker 4: the pads. That's typically something really I've never really seen
- 42:29Speaker 4: other than preseason. You put the uniform on, but you're
- 42:33Speaker 4: not inactive. You're just not gonna play. So but justin
- 42:37Speaker 4: Fields comes in, does a little running around two steps
- 42:41Speaker 4: Kirk Cousin, who as I said, surprisingly ran onto the
- 42:45Speaker 4: field through two interceptions in this game. But good and bad.
- 42:52Speaker 4: Good for the Stellers. I did see some form of
- 42:54Speaker 4: a run attack, which is great for whoever's the quarterback
- 42:59Speaker 4: for them. The defense was explosive, as it always is,
- 43:04Speaker 4: making plays twenty to seventeen, we talked about the Jags
- 43:08Speaker 4: losing to the Dolphins in all of that hoopla surrounding
- 43:13Speaker 4: Tyreek Hill. We had a great day for two attack
- 43:17Speaker 4: with the OA went out other than a couple of sacks,
- 43:21Speaker 4: but that's what two is gonna do. He doesn't seem
- 43:23Speaker 4: to have a lot of fast switch. He's learning how
- 43:25Speaker 4: to fall, but he doesn't evade a lot. You know,
- 43:30Speaker 4: he doesn't have that evading gene. So does that make
- 43:35Speaker 4: him slow?
- 43:37Speaker 1: Doesn't make him quick? I don't know. Trying to stand tall,
- 43:42Speaker 1: I don't know if we can call him slow, but
- 43:43Speaker 1: it's definitely not. Trevor Lawrens had.
- 43:50Speaker 4: Just a day. I mean most people yesterday. As I'm
- 43:53Speaker 4: trying to get you to understand, you really have to
- 43:55Speaker 4: take the week and kind of flush it. It counts, sure,
- 44:00Speaker 4: but everybody looked like they were sleepwalking. They were fatigued.
- 44:04Speaker 4: It wasn't a lot of cohesiveness in really much any
- 44:08Speaker 4: of the games other than the one or two teams
- 44:10Speaker 4: that the personnel were the same from last year. But
- 44:15Speaker 4: anyone in this game twenty to seventeen, the Dolphins getting
- 44:20Speaker 4: the victory the Battle of Florida of this year, so
- 44:24Speaker 4: far Cincinnati shocking lost yesterday to the Patriots. Jacoby Brissett.
- 44:31Speaker 4: I remember Jacobey, Yeah, yeah, I remember Jacoby Pressett.
- 44:38Speaker 1: He used to work there, and then now he's back.
- 44:40Speaker 2: He's back there.
- 44:41Speaker 4: He's been on about four teams four times. He's one
- 44:45Speaker 4: of them guys at the same team. Keep bringing him back.
- 44:50Speaker 4: But jakobyssent yesterday just not losing the game, didn't do
- 44:54Speaker 4: anything special. Joe Burrow and this Bengals team which similar
- 45:00Speaker 4: as I'm gonna talk about with the Cowboys, but the
- 45:02Speaker 4: Cowboys were victorious. Some turnover a lot of pieces. Jamar Chase.
- 45:08Speaker 4: I don't know how you complain that you're not getting
- 45:10Speaker 4: targeted enough when you just came back like three days ago.
- 45:16Speaker 4: I'm kind of lost on this new football thing that
- 45:20Speaker 4: y'all are doing.
- 45:21Speaker 23: That it was closer than that he would show up
- 45:24Speaker 23: the practice. It's news that, oh he's at practice. Oh
- 45:27Speaker 23: he's not. He's not actually practicing, he's just standing there.
- 45:31Speaker 23: And then at the game, Oh he's at the game.
- 45:33Speaker 23: He's going to play today. I think, Okay, he's put
- 45:37Speaker 23: on the uniform, he's going over the field. Okay, he's
- 45:40Speaker 23: going to play today. I think that that became a
- 45:43Speaker 23: big distraction for him. It became a distraction of.
- 45:48Speaker 4: Yeah, your employee number whatever his number is one or
- 45:52Speaker 4: six or whatever.
- 45:52Speaker 1: His number is.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Sure, but we haven't seen you.
- 45:57Speaker 1: He's working from home.
- 46:03Speaker 4: And then you get, oh, I ain't get enough targets. Hey,
- 46:06Speaker 4: we all kind of like not have seen you. We
- 46:09Speaker 4: don't have any sequence. And these first games has the
- 46:13Speaker 4: And that's the thing I'll ask you too, and we
- 46:15Speaker 4: don't have to. We'll talk about it as the season
- 46:17Speaker 4: goes on. Has the seventeen game season made it more
- 46:23Speaker 4: exciting for you? Has it done anything? Really, it hasn't
- 46:27Speaker 4: done anything for me. You really still still could have
- 46:31Speaker 4: just kept it at sixteen games. The intrigue of a
- 46:34Speaker 4: seventeenth game has done really nothing. It's almost like this
- 46:41Speaker 4: is a this is a crap game.
- 46:42Speaker 7: Anyway, it was it was something else, and I'm trying
- 46:47Speaker 7: to remember what it was that they were doing this weekend,
- 46:52Speaker 7: some sort of statistics, some sort of information gathering, and
- 46:56Speaker 7: I was asking, like, how is that helping the game?
- 47:00Speaker 7: Like how was any of this supposed to make viewing
- 47:03Speaker 7: this game any more enjoyable?
- 47:05Speaker 1: And the answer was it's not. It wasn't.
- 47:10Speaker 7: Was it one of the college games where they were
- 47:12Speaker 7: giving the you know, the fourteen point spread. You know that,
- 47:16Speaker 7: and you know and none of that was just.
- 47:22Speaker 1: It. It doesn't help.
- 47:24Speaker 7: And you keep on like giving us stuff and I
- 47:27Speaker 7: keep wondering who's asking for this stuff?
- 47:29Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't understand. Even the more and more questions
- 47:32Speaker 4: of the coaches or the players doing the game. That's
- 47:36Speaker 4: not actually making the game any better. You're you're like
- 47:39Speaker 4: getting on.
- 47:39Speaker 23: My nerves, right, But it's like what you've been saying
- 47:45Speaker 23: for the past probably the past few years. This all
- 47:48Speaker 23: comes back to gambling. It's with more games, it's more
- 47:54Speaker 23: money for people to gamble on.
- 47:56Speaker 4: Yeah, that is true, command you. We'll be back more

- 51:45Speaker 4: in just so a second. We got some college to
- 51:48Speaker 4: talk about. We got some crime to talk about, which
- 51:51Speaker 4: seems to be the new thing now in college sports. Uh.
- 51:56Speaker 4: We had Caleb Williams with us crying. We had the
- 52:02Speaker 4: head coach of Michigan last year. Suremann, what's his last name?
- 52:08Speaker 23: More and more.
- 52:13Speaker 4: And then and then say, uh, Northern Illinois head coach
- 52:18Speaker 4: Thomas Hammock, Uh, he was crying after beating Notre Dame.
- 52:24Speaker 4: I just started bawling. So actually, so I guess crying
- 52:27Speaker 4: is in style, guys. Gonna get you a good cry
- 52:30Speaker 4: next time somebody says, oh, just when good things happened,
- 52:36Speaker 4: I meant.
- 52:36Speaker 23: Well, the the with the coaches that that was when
- 52:40Speaker 23: that was after a big win, and for Northern Illinois
- 52:43Speaker 23: the first time they beat a top ten team in
- 52:45Speaker 23: school history.
- 52:47Speaker 1: It's a good thing.
- 52:49Speaker 4: Well, I didn't really to me, Crying in those situations
- 52:52Speaker 4: make you feel like you wasn't really confident.
- 52:56Speaker 1: That she was gonna win.
- 52:59Speaker 4: For me, Yeah, but Northern Illinois did pull up the upset.
- 53:10Speaker 4: Probably right now, I would say gonna be the upset
- 53:13Speaker 4: of the year, knocking out number five Notre Dame, who
- 53:16Speaker 4: seems to always find a final way each year to
- 53:20Speaker 4: lose a game in some kind of sleepwalking. They always
- 53:24Speaker 4: seem to be like none motivated, too arrogant. We know there, Dame,
- 53:29Speaker 4: you nor they're Illinois and they get beat. It's just
- 53:34Speaker 4: something about.
- 53:35Speaker 7: A lot of that's probably because they're Notre Dame. They
- 53:40Speaker 7: were playing Northern Illinois. Nobody expected this.
- 53:44Speaker 4: Nobody expect We talked earlier about how sometimes like everything
- 53:49Speaker 4: could be in place and something just happens. It seemed
- 53:52Speaker 4: like that something just happened.
- 53:55Speaker 7: I know that the interception that they got right before
- 53:58Speaker 7: the winning field goal looked a little sleep walkie, if
- 54:05Speaker 7: that's a word like.
- 54:06Speaker 4: Look like the quarterback was just you know, game will
- 54:08Speaker 4: be over a few seconds, just you know, we got it.
- 54:12Speaker 4: We gotta keep on until they blow the whistle.
- 54:14Speaker 7: So I would just fling something, We'll make it happen,
- 54:16Speaker 7: or we'll just play another down. And then dude turns
- 54:19Speaker 7: around and gets the interception. It's like, oops, now what
- 54:23Speaker 7: do we do? And they ended up losing the game.
- 54:25Speaker 4: Well for that victory, Northern Illinois got one point four
- 54:30Speaker 4: million dollars from Notre Dame, which helped their budget. Typically,
- 54:35Speaker 4: at school like a Notre Dame a big power four
- 54:39Speaker 4: plus what is it power four plus two? It's not
- 54:43Speaker 4: power five anymore. It's like just four comferences and then
- 54:46Speaker 4: the other two schools or anyone. But typically they play one, two,
- 54:51Speaker 4: even sometimes up to three games a year where they
- 54:54Speaker 4: will pay an opponent to come in. And I'm talking
- 54:59Speaker 4: about Pristine University is like a Southern miss We'll get
- 55:03Speaker 4: paid a check to come somewhere like an Auburn. But
- 55:08Speaker 4: Northern Illinois got one point four million dollars. Fam you
- 55:15Speaker 4: received around a half a million dollars seven hundred thousand. Okay, yeah,
- 55:22Speaker 4: that's good, good money then for their play against Miami.
- 55:26Speaker 9: Uh.
- 55:27Speaker 4: And this is something where our man Shannon Sharp was
- 55:29Speaker 4: saying if he was an HBCU, he wouldn't take less
- 55:32Speaker 4: than a million dollars. And I get what he's His
- 55:36Speaker 4: point is, Shannon is from an HBCU. But the thing
- 55:41Speaker 4: that you lose with that is your negotiating power. You're
- 55:47Speaker 4: not really the product. I can take this seven hundred
- 55:50Speaker 4: thousand and I can give it to Upham or I
- 55:54Speaker 4: can give it to Cookman. And now I'm saying it
- 55:58Speaker 4: sounds like it's cold, but it's really And that's you
- 56:02Speaker 4: don't have any It's not like you.
- 56:03Speaker 2: Have any power.
- 56:06Speaker 4: And tell me more when in a situation where I'm
- 56:09Speaker 4: giving and helping you out.
- 56:10Speaker 7: Well, the person who bought who shared this lead with me,
- 56:14Speaker 7: and we got into a discussion, was that a lot
- 56:17Speaker 7: of times HBCUs aren't taking into account and people aren't
- 56:21Speaker 7: taking into account how valuable it is that these HBCUs
- 56:25Speaker 7: bring their bands. And I was asking, is that something
- 56:28Speaker 7: that the competition asked you to bring? They say they
- 56:31Speaker 7: contract their bands in it, or is that something that
- 56:34Speaker 7: the HBCU just offers up as and in the contract
- 56:37Speaker 7: will throw Because coming from a school like a Southern
- 56:41Speaker 7: Miss and having seen them pay schools like a Jackson State,
- 56:47Speaker 7: I know that the Southern Miss fan base was not
- 56:50Speaker 7: concerned about the sonic boom.
- 56:52Speaker 4: They don't care. That's for the Jackson State fan base.
- 56:55Speaker 4: We don't care if y'all show up or not. And
- 56:58Speaker 4: I remember when our good Sterling Stewart was a correspondent
- 57:02Speaker 4: with the show and the athletic director at Savannah State
- 57:05Speaker 4: where Shannon went that time that they played I believe
- 57:08Speaker 4: it was Miami and Oklahoma State back to back. They
- 57:11Speaker 4: didn't receive a million dollars for either of those games,
- 57:14Speaker 4: and just those two games, he said, they generated more
- 57:18Speaker 4: money for the athletic program than they had in the
- 57:21Speaker 4: past ten years combined.
- 57:24Speaker 7: So, as you said, we can take all of that
- 57:27Speaker 7: away and give it to somebody else, or just stop
- 57:31Speaker 7: playing HBCUs altogether. We'll go and get Kennesaus States, We'll
- 57:36Speaker 7: go and get Valdosta States, those kinds of schools and
- 57:41Speaker 7: play them and give them seven hundred thousand dollars. Because
- 57:45Speaker 7: it used to be that the HBCU said play us
- 57:48Speaker 7: to give us that profile, that spotlight. We just wanted
- 57:53Speaker 7: that exposure.
- 57:54Speaker 4: It's big all about supplying demand, and it's a lot
- 57:57Speaker 4: of supply, right. So when you're saying that, I get
- 58:01Speaker 4: that's what I'm saying. I'm totally what Shannon is saying,
- 58:04Speaker 4: trying to get this team to stick with a certain value.
- 58:08Speaker 4: But it's not like you have a lot of negotiating power.
- 58:11Speaker 4: Some school I benefit from that. Move this around where
- 58:15Speaker 4: a Miami can find anyone else in the state outside
- 58:20Speaker 4: of the University of Florida in Florida state, and they
- 58:23Speaker 4: can decide to go and pay FAIU. They can you know,
- 58:28Speaker 4: they can keep it still, keep it closed. They can
- 58:29Speaker 4: Bethune Cookman, they have Central Florida, South Florida. They can
- 58:34Speaker 4: create games within their own state and those teams get
- 58:40Speaker 4: paid that money. Alabama and m received in Week one
- 58:45Speaker 4: from Auburn five hundred and twenty five thousand dollars in
- 58:49Speaker 4: Perryview will get a half a million dollars from Michigan
- 58:53Speaker 4: State at some point during the season.
- 58:56Speaker 1: Now, I.
- 58:59Speaker 7: Would igine that the reason that they are accepting these
- 59:03Speaker 7: offers is because these offers at the time are viable.
- 59:08Speaker 7: I think that unless someone was at the forefront of
- 59:11Speaker 7: screaming we need more money, just because Northern Illinois negotiated
- 59:17Speaker 7: a good deal doesn't mean everybody gets moved into that position.
- 59:21Speaker 1: Does that make sense?
- 59:22Speaker 7: Like you're looking at Northern Illinois like, oh, well, we
- 59:25Speaker 7: ought to get that.
- 59:26Speaker 4: But and we'll talking about on the other side of
- 59:29Speaker 4: the break, even the as you're saying, the competition is
- 59:32Speaker 4: a little better, it's a little stiffer, right, So we'll
- 59:35Speaker 4: be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 59:48Speaker 8: Don't go Awayne Born of the Sports John Show with
- 59:50Speaker 8: Wayne Gandy is coming up next.
- 59:55Speaker 30: Hear that that's the sound of your life, perfectly imperfect,
- 1:00:03Speaker 30: beating in rhythm to the world you've created. But every
- 1:00:08Speaker 30: time you drive after drinking, music gets drowned out. Your
- 1:00:15Speaker 30: life sounds pretty great. Don't let a buzz ruin it.
- 1:00:18Speaker 30: Buzz driving is drunk driving. Don't drive buzzed. A message
- 1:00:22Speaker 30: from nits in the ad Council.
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: life insurance.
- 1:00:34Speaker 24: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:00:36Speaker 24: just getting started with our family and thought we lived
- 1:00:38Speaker 24: forever life insurance.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: What's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:00:44Speaker 24: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:00:46Speaker 24: bills piling up, I was worried how my family was
- 1:00:47Speaker 24: survived without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 1:00:50Speaker 24: the insurance informant.
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: security no matter what stage of life you're in. Now
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I'll leave
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: my family.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: Would bills are benefits? The answer is easy, whether.
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: You're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a little
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: or a lot, All you need is the insurance informant
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: to help you build a foundation of security, because without you,
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: your family will have two options, benefits or bills.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: Log on today? Benefits or bills dot Com. That's benefits
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: or bills dot.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: Com is enough.
- 1:01:28Speaker 29: I'll have why shall share.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: Your and we hold the world bransom for.
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: Excuse me while I whip this out.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: Broadcasting live and Atlanta, Georgia.
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: This is a sports sh with Wayandy.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: You may concl just.
- 1:02:03Speaker 12: On the way.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: Walk back to this what Shock show.
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: I'm the sport Shock Wing getting good morning to you
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: out there and listening Land. How are you feeling today?
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: If you commanded, Greg, you're feeling good about yourself. You
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: got your victory up in Cleveland yesterday. If you Big Kenny,
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: you're still kind of concerned. You're not sure what's gonna
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: happen tonight. Uh between the j T s Chets Jets
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: Jet and the forty nine ers. If you are a man,
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: share it you already meiling in the Raiders. He's already
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: put a post stamp. He's done right now. I'm telling
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: you he's gonna pretend to y'all like he's not. He's
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: done with his team already. I'm sure he's counseled all
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: his trips, all that Jets fans. We just got our
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: Joshua trees crossed. You just got our Joshua trees crossed
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: for this evening. We left off talking about some payouts
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: and the HBCUs and sharing and sharp statement about they
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: should accept less than a million, and we're just saying
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: good money for these programs. It's a good thing that
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: these fcs and FBS schools pay a lot of these teams.
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: And as Big Kenny alluded to down at Savannah State,
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: I was calling some of their games when they were
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: playing some of those top tier teams to make those checks.
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: Sterling was doing a great job of planning and he
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: understood that, hey, we really are playing eight games that
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: we are on the field to compete compete the other four.
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: We have to keep the program going and we have
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: to do that by going to play Oklahoma in the
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: Oklahoma state or Florida state and whoever, and get those
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: checks because that is our money for the year. That's
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: how we're going to pay the coach, travel, the team,
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: everything else. It would be nice to be able to
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: just put your foot down, but there's so much competition,
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: and now people with the ability to with cable and
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: social media and all that, they can watch anything from
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: anywhere and they'll play anybody.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: It is no more.
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: People don't even look at these games as David versus
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: Goliath anymore. Now they used to have that kind of
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: feel like, oh man, they're wrong for you know, Miami,
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: wrong for playing fam you And now since everybody understands
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: the benefit, it's like, you know, it gives the kids.
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: And one thing, even talking to some of the coaches
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: at the HBCUs, you have to realize these kids they
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: love this. It gives them a chance to go play
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: on the road in stadiums they grew up dreaming.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: About playing, traveling.
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: A bigger step up that sometimes that the other team
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: is providing locker rooms places they would never have gone
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: to get to play. Now they are afforded that, so
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: it's bigger. Some of them will be the biggest game
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: they ever would. Hey man, that day we played Miami
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: and I called a touchdown.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: You know, it was always have the ball.
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: And now this is something Shannon Sharp understands that because
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: he's played at the hbc U level and he's a
- 1:05:29Speaker 7: Hall of NFL Hall of Famer, so he understands how
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: and he's seen those programs go from being nonexistent when
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: they're talked about in FBS conversations to now you should
- 1:05:42Speaker 7: how many of those teams legitimately could negotiate for a
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: million dollars. How many of those teams can go, hey,
- 1:05:49Speaker 7: look give us a million, know we walk away?
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: Very few, very few could do that. Jackson State might
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: have been able to do it when Dion was there.
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: Now I'm not even sure if they'll be able to
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: do it. So I think that when you're calling for that,
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: you got to be careful because some teams may want
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: to just jump on the bandwagon for pride's sake, but
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: really you don't have the negotiation power to demand that,
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: and your program's going to suffer. Last year, Tennessee State
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: received a million dollars to play Notre Dame the Florida
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: A and m or See Miami game the other day, second
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: highest payout for FCS school against the power for this year.
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: So that seven hundred grand is a pretty good amount
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: of money. And last note, as far as like Northern Illinois,
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: you have to look also through the whole schedule because
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: sometimes the ramifications of that is that maybe Northern Illinois
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: volleyball team also said they would play Notre Dame in
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: something or.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: You know what avenue.
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: Sometimes it's a little further than just football that they
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: also negotiated a little you know, tournament or something like that.
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: That so it's not always just on the field, but
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: you also to Northern Illinois get up, we're probably gonna
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: bring more fans yes to the game as well. It's
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: probably Northern Illinois from South maying, no, it's probably our
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: So we're gonna get a bigger fan base.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: And that's because of traffic, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Because of traffic on game day, it's it's less than that.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: And I'm trying to.
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: Think maybe Northern Illinois might be No, No, I think
- 1:07:44Speaker 7: it's right there on the border of Indiana.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not far.
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: But good paydays and let's keep those things around because
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: you never want those schools to consolidate and not reach
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: out to those programs and you that's the biggest danger
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: that Miami decides not and start making an annual game
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: with South Florida, right, and then my family, you don't
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: get that at all in their program. Next thing, you know, playing.
- 1:08:18Speaker 7: Beauford and asking for more money because Buford's invited fam
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: you to play.
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: Six of the top ten teams in colleges in the
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: SEC as a new pole drops. We see six SEC
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: teams in the top ten. Fellas, as I said, just
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: drop the school thing, start mind league football for the SEC.
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: Just well, I think stop the whole education thing.
- 1:08:49Speaker 23: They're gonna they're gonna have to play each other. So
- 1:08:54Speaker 23: I mean, this is but see what I'm saying, but
- 1:08:58Speaker 23: what are you using against us?
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Why?
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: John and remember.
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: They can't why we can't fight John and Dave while
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: we got to fight each other because Cad and able
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: or the schedule, schedule.
- 1:09:17Speaker 7: I'm saying John and Dave dodging us. That's what it is.
- 1:09:20Speaker 7: And listen, this is we knew. We knew a long
- 1:09:24Speaker 7: time ago that and and I said that, why don't
- 1:09:27Speaker 7: the SEC just stop playing college football and just be
- 1:09:31Speaker 7: the SEC Football league and they could control it all
- 1:09:34Speaker 7: like they do now anyway, And eventually it's going to
- 1:09:37Speaker 7: come to that. They're trying to see how much we're
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: able to digest. First they went from hey, let's take
- 1:09:43Speaker 7: it from like six conferences or the big disc to
- 1:09:47Speaker 7: let's eliminate that. Now it's only two over here, and
- 1:09:50Speaker 7: it's four now, and it used to be called this,
- 1:09:53Speaker 7: but now it'll be called that. And look, let's pay
- 1:09:55Speaker 7: these kids, and let's just yeah, let's pay them and
- 1:09:57Speaker 7: let them transfer whenever they want to, and you know,
- 1:10:01Speaker 7: let's just let's do all of this other stuff with them.
- 1:10:04Speaker 7: And then eventually, hey, man, why don't we eliminate Let's
- 1:10:07Speaker 7: let's open up the playoffs. Yeah, from eighteen, let's go
- 1:10:09Speaker 7: to twelve teams. Come on, man, and then you could
- 1:10:12Speaker 7: play for a national championship.
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: What we'll do is let a guy get home advantage,
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: but if he loses, he'll get to.
- 1:10:17Speaker 7: Have to play away. And now, hey, look and make
- 1:10:21Speaker 7: an announcement. I'm going solo.
- 1:10:24Speaker 23: Someone has the dream of the final four for the
- 1:10:27Speaker 23: Kashua Playoff is all SEC as many as in the
- 1:10:31Speaker 23: final eight or four as possible.
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: We almost had that.
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: But your whole attack command is to make us play
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: each other. I'm saying, they're on the they're on the
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: regular season schedule. You're in the same conference, you play
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: in your conference, right.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: So you want us to beat ourselves?
- 1:10:49Speaker 23: How they're going to schedule more out of conference games
- 1:10:52Speaker 23: because the other conference don't want to play a midway.
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: So we all we got is each other. Well, George
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: is at number one, Texas at number two. Alabema was
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: at four, Ole Misses at five, Missouri's at six, Tennessee's
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: at seven. So really, when you look at the top
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: ten of the ap pole, it belongs to the SCCEE.
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: But a lot of football ahead, a lot of unfocused
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: uh to me, with the n I L and the
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: transfer portal and all these things is going on. So
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: it should be an exciting season. Gambling is going to
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: be at it all time.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Trust me.
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: When we get to December, we'll be reporting about some
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: kind of record number of Vegas bets on on sports.
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: The Batri at its finance. This is what I kind
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: of label it would that would that sum it up?
- 1:11:44Speaker 7: Yeah, I suppose you know Vegas. Yeah, football, it sounds
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: the butchers. The potential is there?
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: Uh so that is big. And later in the show
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: we'll talk about the situation out in Colorado the Buffalos.
- 1:12:06Speaker 4: Is that au Is it really a situation though? It's
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: a situationship situation, That's what it is. It's you know,
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: we were still together for right now, we still we
- 1:12:18Speaker 4: still share a residence, but you know we kind of
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: shopping for other places a situationship command you Greg wanted
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: us to know that they did find a young lady
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: who had been locked in the Wells Fargo office her
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: cubicle for four days. Was she locked in or they
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: just never was locked in they never saw her? Okay, okay,
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: I haven't been to an office lately. How are the
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: cubicles are They're very private? Was it on the weekend
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: and maybe they had a Friday, Monday.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: And c sports shock?
- 1:12:51Speaker 7: I wonder about that because now mine it's been decades,
- 1:12:55Speaker 7: but my last corporate experience where they had cubicles, the
- 1:13:00Speaker 7: cubicles were taller for what they called privacy, and it
- 1:13:08Speaker 7: depending on what section of the company you worked in,
- 1:13:12Speaker 7: people might not make it back into your corner, you
- 1:13:14Speaker 7: know what I mean? And they it's not one of
- 1:13:17Speaker 7: those where we come and interact with you. Your your
- 1:13:20Speaker 7: primary focus is data and things like that.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: So you know, or something happened on a three day weekend.
- 1:13:27Speaker 7: Right and and now it's right, it's nothing for me
- 1:13:30Speaker 7: to stay late on a Friday.
- 1:13:33Speaker 4: Everybody's off on Monday and everybody's gone. They don't see
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: you the tuesday, right, right? So, or you might just
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: be that employee. Don't nobody talk to you like that?
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. Ain't nobody you'd be eating
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: people stuff out the break room, so.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: We'll be back more to sports after this.
- 1:13:52Speaker 24: Is say this.
- 1:14:07Speaker 8: Don't bowl Awayne Poor of the Sports Josh Show with
- 1:14:10Speaker 8: Wayne Gandias coming up next.

- 1:14:18Speaker 17: You know the parent or fan who constantly yells at
- 1:14:21Speaker 17: the referees and loves to let everyone know just how
- 1:14:25Speaker 17: bad you think they are. Well, if you think you
- 1:14:28Speaker 17: could do better, then get in the game and prove it.
- 1:14:30Speaker 17: It's time for you to suit up and make the
- 1:14:33Speaker 17: calls where they actually cap.

- 1:14:51Speaker 2: How is your day?
- 1:14:54Speaker 31: But the real world is different. Managing life's challenges can
- 1:14:57Speaker 31: be overwhelming, So what do we do? We get support?

- 1:18:50Speaker 4: I mean Lorenz is basically since he was eighteen, is
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: old doll. Yeah, we've seen him acting in just a
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: variety of acting. Lorenz Tate four, forty nine, Slim Thug
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: of forty four, Bernie Sanders is eighty three, Wiz Khalifa
- 1:19:08Speaker 4: is thirty seven, and Pink, who I think has a
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: concert here in at Atlanta in November. That time I
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: saw Pink a couple of years ago. Great show. One
- 1:19:18Speaker 4: of those kind of almost circus so late type show.
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: So you even if you don't know a music, you
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: will enjoy. It's a whole bunch of movement and it's
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: like two hours of just almost like a play with
- 1:19:31Speaker 4: somebody just singing in it, which is I don't know
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: if you've seen those kind of concerts, but real fun.
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: You don't necessari I have to. It's like a musical, right,
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: more than with a great singer, because she can sing
- 1:19:43Speaker 4: a great singer, great voice, great lyrics and things like that.
- 1:19:47Speaker 4: Sorry and I respect go out to young man here
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: in Atlanta. Rich Homi Kwan passing away at only thirty
- 1:19:55Speaker 4: four years old, is the young rapper suspected overdose. Thirty
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: four years old. He's behind four young sons. Is rich
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: Homie Kwan?
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: How old was pink? She is forty five? It's pink, Yes,
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: forty five.
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: Jamie Foxx says that he's gonna go to stand up
- 1:20:15Speaker 4: and let you know what happened about that drug overdose
- 1:20:18Speaker 4: that turned into a seizure, that turned into a stroke,
- 1:20:22Speaker 4: and that's kind of kind of how it gonna go.
- 1:20:23Speaker 7: Big Kenny, I'm saying you could have just said it
- 1:20:26Speaker 7: on the mic like that. You didn't have to do
- 1:20:28Speaker 7: no whole show would make me buy it, take it?
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: Tell me it was drug overdose that turned into a
- 1:20:33Speaker 4: seizon that turned into a stroke.
- 1:20:35Speaker 16: Right.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: You could have just said I got out there a
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: little too far, but you gotta make some money yet.
- 1:20:43Speaker 7: And that's the only part that I can't. I guess
- 1:20:46Speaker 7: I can't different strokes, you know what I mean? Some
- 1:20:51Speaker 7: people would take experiences like that and be so guarded
- 1:20:55Speaker 7: with them. Seeing as how he didn't say anything in
- 1:20:57Speaker 7: the initial onset of the situation and now it's like
- 1:21:02Speaker 7: he was holding it for a special or did he
- 1:21:05Speaker 7: come to a moment where he decided, you know what,
- 1:21:07Speaker 7: I need to talk about this. And is it going
- 1:21:10Speaker 7: to be cathartic for him to get it off his
- 1:21:11Speaker 7: chest out or is it just strictly a money grab.
- 1:21:14Speaker 7: I know people want to hear about it, their nosy,
- 1:21:16Speaker 7: they'll pay for it.
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: Well, it could be sometimes as humans, I guess we
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: have to adjust to coming to the reality of it.
- 1:21:26Speaker 4: We don't really know how big it is. But it
- 1:21:27Speaker 4: could have been a stressor that he finally has gotten
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: to where he can laugh about it, right, right, or
- 1:21:34Speaker 4: talk about it without feeling some kind of way, you know.
- 1:21:37Speaker 23: I think that was part of like trying to differ
- 1:21:39Speaker 23: like how to how to talk about it or like
- 1:21:42Speaker 23: kind of explain it, because I saw a video a
- 1:21:45Speaker 23: couple of months ago where he was talking to some
- 1:21:48Speaker 23: people about what happened, and from his respective it seemed like, Yeah,
- 1:21:52Speaker 23: I was hanging out with some people and then then
- 1:21:57Speaker 23: I fell asleep for three weeks. So him trying to
- 1:22:02Speaker 23: like come to maybe come to the grips of like
- 1:22:04Speaker 23: what what actually happened or how he's processed it?
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: Yeah, how how how we were hear it?
- 1:22:11Speaker 4: Because he might be going to open up something that
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: you could suspect but not no, right, and I'm going
- 1:22:18Speaker 4: to confirm, which is you know, like you know, and
- 1:22:23Speaker 4: I don't know if you've ever had the unfortunate experience
- 1:22:26Speaker 4: of passing out, but it's a lot like you're just
- 1:22:29Speaker 4: talking and then all of a sudden, people are telling
- 1:22:32Speaker 4: you things that happened that you don't remember, and time
- 1:22:37Speaker 4: has passed and you're maybe in a different location or
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: you know, it's daytime now and you're like what and
- 1:22:43Speaker 4: then yeah, man, and then everybody was asking you and
- 1:22:46Speaker 4: then you just wouldn't and we got nervous, but you
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: were still breathing. So, you know, especially at Jamie's age,
- 1:22:53Speaker 4: you know what is Jamie's like fifty seven, So it
- 1:22:58Speaker 4: could be embarrassing just.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: Of what he was doing, trying to do some young
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: thundercat move.
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: It was my birthday and she was like, you want
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: me to do the thing, and I was like yeah yeah.
- 1:23:12Speaker 3: The next thing, you know, three weeks later, you know,
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: I was sleep and waking up and they was talking
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: about charging her.
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: She was like, nah, I ain't do nothing.
- 1:23:21Speaker 4: Criminal and sad news coming out of Clemson. DeAndre Overton,
- 1:23:26Speaker 4: the star receiver back in the late twenty sixteen to
- 1:23:31Speaker 4: twenty twenty seasons of Clemson football. I was shot and
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: killed sadly up in Greensboro, North Carolina, over the last
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: couple of days. Twenty six years old. Is the young man.

- 1:26:50Speaker 2: All right, well, I mean.
- 1:27:00Speaker 5: Like.
- 1:27:02Speaker 25: I gotta chili, what I got it?
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: What aback to this? What's up?
- 1:27:10Speaker 34: Shut this?
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: Whatsh up?
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: Wing? Indeed, the Cowboys yesterday in cowboy fashion, which Jerry Jones.
- 1:27:17Speaker 4: This is why people really don't like Jerry Jones's tactics,
- 1:27:22Speaker 4: not so much to Cowboys, I think more as it
- 1:27:25Speaker 4: is Jerry Jones thirty three seventeen has decided that at
- 1:27:30Speaker 4: the last couple of days of preseason the first day
- 1:27:35Speaker 4: of the regular season to make these announcements. These are calculated,
- 1:27:40Speaker 4: of course, come on, you're just calculating pandemonium. First and foremost.
- 1:27:47Speaker 4: Whatever Dak was gonna get, that was gonna get. Okay,
- 1:27:51Speaker 4: y'all was fighting over like half million dollars, so he
- 1:27:54Speaker 4: wanted to thirty and a half. Y'all wanted to thirty
- 1:28:00Speaker 4: y'all met, I mean, But to do it on the
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: day of, that's calculating. That's Jerry Jones or distraction.
- 1:28:07Speaker 17: To me.
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: This is why the team, to me, has not arrived
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: where it should be.
- 1:28:13Speaker 4: That's really just in the thirty years since they basically
- 1:28:17Speaker 4: won a Super Bowl, they haven't arrived in those places
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: because the owner seems to be he gets caught up
- 1:28:24Speaker 4: in the entertainment of it. This should have been settled.
- 1:28:28Speaker 4: He was gonna give Dak the money you was gonna
- 1:28:30Speaker 4: give CD the money because did this two weeks ago, Comanche.
- 1:28:36Speaker 4: These aren't like some.
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: Thirty eight year old players that aren't bawling.
- 1:28:43Speaker 4: If two attack, Leoh was gonna get whatever he got,
- 1:28:46Speaker 4: Dak was gonna get he is. Money is just a
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: function of the next man in the NFL, especially at
- 1:28:52Speaker 4: the quarterback position. It's not about the production. If it
- 1:28:56Speaker 4: was about production, nobody would get paid but Patrick mahone
- 1:28:58Speaker 4: because he the only one that got to woes. Everybody
- 1:29:02Speaker 4: else just getting paid. So all all these s gripers,
- 1:29:05Speaker 4: I keep telling you, well, this guy, it's a function.
- 1:29:08Speaker 4: It's just the next man.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: How good?
- 1:29:11Speaker 4: How demanding? Are you close to the next Baker Mayfield
- 1:29:15Speaker 4: make thirty five forty million dollars. He thought he was
- 1:29:18Speaker 4: gonna be delivering pizzas two years ago.
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: So to me, I just don't know. As an owner, Jerry,
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: why why did we have to do this?
- 1:29:28Speaker 23: I think it's just to create some drama to get
- 1:29:31Speaker 23: some attention like these. He already knew or it was
- 1:29:35Speaker 23: already agreed to. However much money ceede Lamber, Dak Prescott
- 1:29:41Speaker 23: was gonna get, that was already decided. But it was
- 1:29:45Speaker 23: like as each day went on, and there's no new
- 1:29:48Speaker 23: deal and we're getting closer to the season, guys are
- 1:29:51Speaker 23: gonna hold out or something like that. Then like that
- 1:29:55Speaker 23: just that brings more attention to to me, yes, it
- 1:30:02Speaker 23: just brings bore attention.
- 1:30:04Speaker 4: And that's that little small aspect of if I feel
- 1:30:07Speaker 4: like if Dallas could erase right, because now they would
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: take that step into where you want them to go
- 1:30:13Speaker 4: to be like, no, it's not just about that. That
- 1:30:17Speaker 4: shouldn't have to answer questions about his contract on the
- 1:30:20Speaker 4: opening day after a win.
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: It should be just about whether he want or not.
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: And to me, it seemed almost.
- 1:30:31Speaker 7: To put him in the cross hairs, setting him up
- 1:30:33Speaker 7: for potential failure. It's a good thing they did win
- 1:30:36Speaker 7: the game, but even when he had some miscues in
- 1:30:39Speaker 7: the game, having it being reported that at eleven o'clock
- 1:30:43Speaker 7: this morning from the hotel, Dak finally signed his four
- 1:30:46Speaker 7: year extension with the Cowboys for two hundred and forty million,
- 1:30:49Speaker 7: then he throws an interception or he misses somebody on
- 1:30:52Speaker 7: a route and they're like, and that's.
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: What you extended.
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: Oh, you don't deserve And.
- 1:30:57Speaker 7: Now everybody's mad at the Cowboys for keeping and so
- 1:31:01Speaker 7: I think, but I'm saying the way Jerry Jones sets
- 1:31:06Speaker 7: it up seems like he's courting disaster.
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: Like I don't think in his mind.
- 1:31:14Speaker 4: I believe he believes that all publicity is good publicity,
- 1:31:18Speaker 4: and for him it may be. But he's not the
- 1:31:21Speaker 4: one on the field playing the game. He's not the
- 1:31:24Speaker 4: one taking the snaps or running the ball for him.
- 1:31:27Speaker 4: It's all theater for them.
- 1:31:30Speaker 7: This is part of the burden we have to carry
- 1:31:34Speaker 7: once we actually sign the deal and get on the field,
- 1:31:37Speaker 7: and then everybody's talking about what a bust we are
- 1:31:40Speaker 7: as a team and how we're never living up to
- 1:31:43Speaker 7: our potential.
- 1:31:43Speaker 4: And the Cowboys are the only organization that I know
- 1:31:49Speaker 4: that is holding on to Super Bowl championship love from
- 1:31:57Speaker 4: twenty seven years ago. They're the only people I know
- 1:32:03Speaker 4: that talk in that way. The Bears don't talk like that,
- 1:32:06Speaker 4: and they won one. Auburn won a national title what
- 1:32:12Speaker 4: ten twelve, fifteen years ago with cam.
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: And that has run its latitude.
- 1:32:18Speaker 4: It's time for another one, or be quiet, but keep
- 1:32:22Speaker 4: bringing up the twenty ten season.
- 1:32:24Speaker 14: Man.
- 1:32:24Speaker 4: We that's and that's how the Cowboys, that's how Jerry
- 1:32:28Speaker 4: has built this thing almost like he doesn't want a championship.
- 1:32:35Speaker 4: The people those guys are getting social Security checks. The
- 1:32:40Speaker 4: team that won a Super Bowl they're older than me.
- 1:32:47Speaker 4: Is in the old Guys Tostitos commercial, like we could
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: do that.
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: I ain't gonna do that running.
- 1:32:54Speaker 7: That's how long it's been, is that those guys are
- 1:32:58Speaker 7: now making fun of the fact that they're that all now.
- 1:33:01Speaker 4: And it just seems and I love Jerry promoting he's done.
- 1:33:05Speaker 4: Jerry has done. What Jerry has done for the Cowboys
- 1:33:09Speaker 4: has pushed sports for not just the NFL. His innovativeness
- 1:33:18Speaker 4: and his ideas has pushed the whole way of sports.
- 1:33:22Speaker 4: I just wished sometime for his team maybe to achieve
- 1:33:26Speaker 4: to go along with it, he would remove his antics
- 1:33:31Speaker 4: of always needing to announce something the day of the
- 1:33:36Speaker 4: Super Bowl, like come on, like you didn't know yesterday.
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: No, Holy We'll announce it right before the kickoff.
- 1:33:44Speaker 4: It's gonna be huge, It's gonna be strong. It's got strong.
- 1:33:48Speaker 2: Strong Draft seventeen Dak Prescott.
- 1:33:52Speaker 4: Deshaun Watson sad news coming out of his camp his
- 1:33:56Speaker 4: father passed away. I'm not sure how, but I did
- 1:34:01Speaker 4: read something says dad passed away before the game. Uh,
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: neither one of these quarterbacks. As I have said, that
- 1:34:08Speaker 4: really stopped the whole marking people based on money. Money
- 1:34:16Speaker 4: no longer is an indicator of production in the world
- 1:34:23Speaker 4: of sports, because it's now sports and entertainment. It's not sports,
- 1:34:31Speaker 4: it's sports and entertainment. Look at all the broadcasts Fox, ESPN, NBC, ABC,
- 1:34:38Speaker 4: all of them people they're they're they're pushing and and
- 1:34:42Speaker 4: formulating and massaging and as much entertainment from how they
- 1:34:46Speaker 4: deliver it, the casualness of they call each other B
- 1:34:50Speaker 4: A and T A and let's throw it over the
- 1:34:53Speaker 4: C A and all of it is gone to entertainment.
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: And I'm not knocking it.
- 1:35:00Speaker 4: It looks as we're talking to CG. It used to
- 1:35:04Speaker 4: be it was a more of an indicator of production, Yes,
- 1:35:08Speaker 4: what you were paid. Now it's more of No. The
- 1:35:11Speaker 4: big bucks are just made. The TV contracts is in.
- 1:35:13Speaker 4: You got Jeff Bezos and Amazon about to consolidate sports,
- 1:35:18Speaker 4: just like he's consolidated everything else. I was reading the
- 1:35:20Speaker 4: report he's about to take the Major League Baseball, NHL
- 1:35:24Speaker 4: and NBA and basically run cable and run cable out
- 1:35:29Speaker 4: of business some kind of way, right, But.
- 1:35:31Speaker 23: He's uh, they're working to get Bally Sports getting their
- 1:35:38Speaker 23: broadcast rights and put it on Amazon.
- 1:35:42Speaker 4: Well, so they'll be it'll be regional, but it'll still
- 1:35:45Speaker 4: be Amazon. I mean, but you talk about the the
- 1:35:53Speaker 4: litany of sports offerings. If you've ever watched.
- 1:35:57Speaker 7: ESPN, like right now there in the go siations with
- 1:36:01Speaker 7: direct TV where they're not showing any of ESPN's content,
- 1:36:05Speaker 7: so you can stream ESPN, ESPN Plus and watching a
- 1:36:11Speaker 7: White Sox Red Sox game yesterday with NBC streaming Chicago,
- 1:36:19Speaker 7: so it's just Chicago Sports and then the next city
- 1:36:22Speaker 7: over I suppose as their own streaming. And it's just
- 1:36:27Speaker 7: there is no limit to who's willing to broadcast what
- 1:36:32Speaker 7: and if you can just find somebody willing to put
- 1:36:35Speaker 7: it on, then you know you got it.
- 1:36:38Speaker 4: And then that function that's and that's what I'm trying
- 1:36:41Speaker 4: to get people to understand. And that function is pushed
- 1:36:44Speaker 4: up TV revenue. Yes, and TV revenue for most sports
- 1:36:49Speaker 4: teams is a fifty fifty one forty nine split. So
- 1:36:55Speaker 4: it demands that money can be paid. It has nothing
- 1:36:59Speaker 4: to do with production. It can do with name, it
- 1:37:03Speaker 4: can do with just really position, which is the quarterback
- 1:37:07Speaker 4: position that is just getting paid in bulks of money.
- 1:37:12Speaker 4: But it's not about win losses or production. It's about
- 1:37:16Speaker 4: being part of that supplying the man we talked about
- 1:37:18Speaker 4: early in the show. There's thirty two teams. You just
- 1:37:21Speaker 4: need to be in one of the top sixteen seventeen spots.
- 1:37:25Speaker 4: It's considered you don't have to be in the top
- 1:37:27Speaker 4: five and you make X amount of dollars. But Dallas
- 1:37:30Speaker 4: thirty three, the Brown seventeen yesterday only throwing excuse me,
- 1:37:37Speaker 4: not just throwing, but only having what one hundred yards
- 1:37:41Speaker 4: offense or something like that for Chicago they won yesterday.
- 1:37:46Speaker 4: Caleb Williams, the first pick of the draft, didn't even throw.
- 1:37:50Speaker 35: He threw for.
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: Sixty four yards in his opening or eighty four yards?
- 1:38:00Speaker 7: Now, should we have expected more of him? Usually we
- 1:38:04Speaker 7: talk about how unfair it is that these teams draft
- 1:38:07Speaker 7: these guys of them are one and then day one
- 1:38:09Speaker 7: have them on the field trying to lead NFL franchises. Yesterday,
- 1:38:13Speaker 7: Caleb Williams falls into that category and he only throws
- 1:38:17Speaker 7: for eighty four yards, and everybody's like, uh, that he
- 1:38:20Speaker 7: couldn't do any better than that? Should we have expected
- 1:38:23Speaker 7: any more?
- 1:38:23Speaker 23: From considering considering the offense that they disimproved offense that
- 1:38:30Speaker 23: they with the guys that they brought in. There's probably
- 1:38:33Speaker 23: more a little more production expected.
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: As it was fourteen for twenty nine for ninety three, y'alls.
- 1:38:40Speaker 7: And now this is the same Caleb Williams that didn't
- 1:38:43Speaker 7: play in the preseason, played one game game for like
- 1:38:47Speaker 7: three snaps or something like that. So do you think
- 1:38:50Speaker 7: that any of these teams go, man, we need to
- 1:38:52Speaker 7: start playing these dudes more. Or I'm saying all of
- 1:38:56Speaker 7: this to me seems like, man, we missed an opportunity
- 1:38:59Speaker 7: to hear him. We're not gonna do that again, or
- 1:39:02Speaker 7: will they blame it on something else? We'll be back
- 1:39:04Speaker 7: more to Sports Jock Show Red after this.

- 1:41:46Speaker 2: I'm the sports Shop, Wayne Candy.
- 1:41:47Speaker 1: Good morning to you out there.
- 1:41:49Speaker 4: Listening Land Big Kenny comanch you Gregg in the studio today,
- 1:41:53Speaker 4: Colorado losing to Nebraska. Dylan Ryola, the young freshman, young kid.
- 1:41:59Speaker 4: I got to call a couple of his games last
- 1:42:01Speaker 4: year when he was at Buford. Uh steady job down
- 1:42:04Speaker 4: there for Nebraska, Matt Rule back in the college ranks.
- 1:42:08Speaker 4: Really has that team turned around in a short period
- 1:42:11Speaker 4: of time. Taking on Colorado Shadu Sanders, our Man, Travis Hunter,
- 1:42:20Speaker 4: Shiloh Sanders, who's broke his froll warm. I don't know
- 1:42:23Speaker 4: his status for the season headed forward, but a lot
- 1:42:27Speaker 4: of the same kind of conversation by shduor Sanders at
- 1:42:31Speaker 4: the end of this game talking about his O line.
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: H mm hmm, here we go. I think they did.
- 1:42:44Speaker 35: I think they followed a great game plan and they
- 1:42:46Speaker 35: and they did what they're supposed to do. Scott, you
- 1:42:48Speaker 35: know what I'm saying.
- 1:42:50Speaker 24: Should homecourt, you think it is for this office to
- 1:42:52Speaker 24: continue to you know, develop, you know, running game and
- 1:42:54Speaker 24: continue to be downas to you know, try to do
- 1:42:56Speaker 24: more downside's if everybody help you know your game.
- 1:42:59Speaker 35: And obviously office, I mean, how many times did all
- 1:43:04Speaker 35: the good touch, how many times did a good touch
- 1:43:08Speaker 35: there was able to? Like of course, of course, whenever
- 1:43:11Speaker 35: you're able to run the ball consistently and whenever you're
- 1:43:13Speaker 35: able to then that opens up the past, you know.
- 1:43:16Speaker 35: But it's just like you got to understand, like what
- 1:43:18Speaker 35: what your team good at. So it's like, why would
- 1:43:21Speaker 35: we keep running the ball? If okay, we are we
- 1:43:24Speaker 35: out there, we get in a situation where so must
- 1:43:26Speaker 35: get and won't get it?
- 1:43:28Speaker 4: Are like fourth and one.
- 1:43:30Speaker 26: That she do?
- 1:43:31Speaker 4: Sander's talking about some of the action in the game. Now,
- 1:43:36Speaker 4: Sheder Sanders Will sacked six times against Nebraska. Uh, but
- 1:43:41Speaker 4: Nebraska the camp.
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: Be the blame that.
- 1:43:47Speaker 4: Colorado doesn't run the ball. I watched the game. You
- 1:43:52Speaker 4: don't make a concerted effort to really actually run the ball.
- 1:43:55Speaker 4: You stay in a spread offense and to keep it realized.
- 1:43:58Speaker 4: I was telling a bit friend yesterday, I wouldn't block
- 1:44:03Speaker 4: for y'all either. I would take my son and leave Colorado.
- 1:44:10Speaker 4: Y'all don't seem like y'all are trying to play football.
- 1:44:12Speaker 4: You seem like you're trying to show pro scouts that
- 1:44:16Speaker 4: y'all can play the position of quarterback and receiver. When
- 1:44:21Speaker 4: I watch you take the fields, your door and your
- 1:44:23Speaker 4: dad and I love Dion, I do agree, greatest cornerback
- 1:44:27Speaker 4: I've ever saw played in my era. But it seemed
- 1:44:32Speaker 4: like y'all invited the old line down to a seven
- 1:44:34Speaker 4: on seven drill that y'all did not come on the
- 1:44:38Speaker 4: same bus. It seemed like y'all had a seven on
- 1:44:43Speaker 4: seven drill going on down at the park, at Big
- 1:44:45Speaker 4: Kenny's Classic seven on seven drill. And then somebody said, hey,
- 1:44:52Speaker 4: how about letting the old line come stand in front.
- 1:44:55Speaker 4: Y'all don't show any passion. Your dad goes down and
- 1:44:59Speaker 4: the skulls the old line. But your defense, it's terrible.
- 1:45:09Speaker 4: You give up almost four hundred yards a game defensively.
- 1:45:12Speaker 4: I didn't see you yell at the defense. All your
- 1:45:17Speaker 4: receivers do is run those little quick routes and you
- 1:45:19Speaker 4: try to get the ball to Travis. And what I'm
- 1:45:21Speaker 4: trying to say is that what you did was that
- 1:45:23Speaker 4: you let the idea of how easy it is to
- 1:45:26Speaker 4: win and put a team together. Ellude, you, I know
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: it seems simple that, well, let's go get forty new
- 1:45:38Speaker 4: players every year and figure out. But they don't even
- 1:45:42Speaker 4: do that in the NFL. Y'all get thirty forty players
- 1:45:47Speaker 4: and think in six months you're gonna make them a team.
- 1:45:50Speaker 4: Why would I block for you? What's so special about you?
- 1:45:56Speaker 4: What's my commitment to Colorado? I'm not even really a
- 1:45:59Speaker 4: Buffalo I'm just here to block, not for the Buffalo,
- 1:46:04Speaker 4: just block for me.
- 1:46:05Speaker 7: Yeah, because they said that my nil deal here would
- 1:46:09Speaker 7: be one and a half times what it was where
- 1:46:12Speaker 7: I was before. So now I'm here, but my profile
- 1:46:16Speaker 7: hasn't gone up because all they talk about is just
- 1:46:18Speaker 7: do behind me. And I'm making money, but I ain't
- 1:46:21Speaker 7: getting mine. You know what, man, I should have just
- 1:46:23Speaker 7: stayed where I was, But that's okay. I'll be somewhere
- 1:46:26Speaker 7: else next season.
- 1:46:27Speaker 2: So you know, I can be anywhere. I could be anywhere.
- 1:46:31Speaker 4: I can watch, I can walk amongst any crowd. When
- 1:46:36Speaker 4: you go to schools, you no, you don't owe them anything,
- 1:46:40Speaker 4: but if you stay there long enough, if you commit,
- 1:46:42Speaker 4: that will be the environment in which judges you. It
- 1:46:49Speaker 4: won't be a casual thing. And it's just I watch,
- 1:46:53Speaker 4: and it's like, y'all don't take the field with no purpose.
- 1:46:57Speaker 4: You don't seem like a team. You think like it's
- 1:46:59Speaker 4: just gonna be he gonna run these routes and make
- 1:47:02Speaker 4: it real easy, and it's just a disservice.
- 1:47:05Speaker 1: And like some of the NFL scouts.
- 1:47:07Speaker 4: It seems that you're just trying to show that your
- 1:47:09Speaker 4: son can play quarterback and Travis, but I keep identifying
- 1:47:15Speaker 4: to command you Greg and Big Kenny.
- 1:47:18Speaker 1: I called Travis Hunter's games since he was a sophomore
- 1:47:21Speaker 1: in high school. You didn't make Travis Hunter.
- 1:47:26Speaker 2: He is just the dude.
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: He was the dude. He was the first dude.
- 1:47:31Speaker 2: Then he's just that guy.
- 1:47:33Speaker 7: And now he openly says when he's in press conferences
- 1:47:37Speaker 7: and like when they beat who was the first team
- 1:47:40Speaker 7: that they beat this this year coach State, and he
- 1:47:45Speaker 7: was like, oh, number one and number two Shador and
- 1:47:50Speaker 7: Travis in the NFL draft. But Shiloh got his arm
- 1:47:54Speaker 7: broken in the contest on Saturday against Nebraska, and in
- 1:48:02Speaker 7: his social media coach Prime shout it out first Shiloh Sanders,
- 1:48:07Speaker 7: then the quote each time he said, quote, my grace
- 1:48:11Speaker 7: is all you need. My power works best in weakness.
- 1:48:14Speaker 7: So now I am glad to boast about my weakness
- 1:48:18Speaker 7: so that the power of Christ can work through me.
- 1:48:21Speaker 7: That's why I take pleasure in my weaknesses and in
- 1:48:24Speaker 7: the insults, hardships, persecutions and troubles that I suffer for Christ.
- 1:48:30Speaker 4: For when I am weak, then I am strong. Second corinthing,
- 1:48:34Speaker 4: what does that have to do with this three technique?
- 1:48:36Speaker 4: I don't I detra the back there, I don't know.
- 1:48:39Speaker 7: I don't know, and then I don't I don't know
- 1:48:41Speaker 7: how Now it's persecutions and what was the other insults?
- 1:48:46Speaker 3: When before it was if you ain't got no dog,
- 1:48:49Speaker 3: you need to get up out of here. We not
- 1:48:51Speaker 3: gonna have you here. And no y'all talking about it.
- 1:48:54Speaker 3: You've seen it, you it, everybody love it. Dang baby,
- 1:49:03Speaker 3: when this this.
- 1:49:08Speaker 4: M me.
- 1:49:10Speaker 29: From this side without you.

- 1:49:54Speaker 5: And now let's talk about something exciting. Life insurance. Three
- 1:49:57Speaker 5: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents. It's a critical
- 1:50:00Speaker 5: piece of financial security, Yet only forty nine percent actually
- 1:50:04Speaker 5: have life insurance.
- 1:50:05Speaker 24: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:50:07Speaker 24: just getting started with our family and thought, we live
- 1:50:09Speaker 24: forever life insurance. What's the last thing on my mind?
- 1:50:12Speaker 2: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:50:15Speaker 24: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:50:17Speaker 24: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:50:19Speaker 24: survive without me. That's when I'm in an appointment with
- 1:50:21Speaker 24: the insurance informant.
- 1:50:22Speaker 5: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:50:25Speaker 5: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:50:27Speaker 24: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:50:30Speaker 24: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:50:32Speaker 5: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:50:34Speaker 5: whether you earn a little or a lot, all you

- 1:50:54Speaker 16: When I first had my baby, i'd get comments all
- 1:50:57Speaker 16: the time about how happy I mus be. I remember
- 1:50:59Speaker 16: thinking I want to be happy? Why don't I feel
- 1:51:02Speaker 16: that way? It was hard to admit that, even to
- 1:51:04Speaker 16: my doctor, but I'm glad I did. She told me
- 1:51:07Speaker 16: it was postpartum depression and that is very treatable. These days,
- 1:51:10Speaker 16: things are feeling good and we're both happier about that, Right,
- 1:51:13Speaker 16: little man, I'll take.

- 1:51:26Speaker 33: And now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy, it's
- 1:51:32Speaker 33: time put a school board when we put a spin
- 1:51:35Speaker 33: on life and sports and how they intermingle.
- 1:51:39Speaker 2: On the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:51:45Speaker 4: Yeah, okays, I mean my red Danish mother man.
- 1:51:54Speaker 1: Happy, feeling like the man when I'm up.
- 1:51:56Speaker 2: Through Kyne's time.
- 1:51:58Speaker 30: What you're saying when I'm walk throughout went up?
- 1:52:05Speaker 4: Mack just wore chuck shup this war shock win King
- 1:52:08Speaker 4: d Kansas City chief superfan Xavier bar Boudar aka Chief Aholic.
- 1:52:17Speaker 4: Remember him a couple of months ago he was went
- 1:52:19Speaker 4: to prison, didn't he? Yeah, he was robbing banks.
- 1:52:23Speaker 1: But I mean, we've all across the country.
- 1:52:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean most of us state local though am
- 1:52:29Speaker 4: I rights most of us ain't like God, wait, we
- 1:52:32Speaker 4: just the judge didn't really find a kind that he
- 1:52:35Speaker 4: was robbing banks about eighteen two years, eighteen months to
- 1:52:39Speaker 4: two years, didn't anybody get hurt? Gave him seventeen and
- 1:52:41Speaker 4: a half years Wait now in prison for bank?
- 1:52:44Speaker 1: No, this was for this.
- 1:52:46Speaker 4: This was for fan member billion. That's what I was
- 1:52:49Speaker 4: doing it for. To get the outfits and to be
- 1:52:52Speaker 4: the super fan. Yeah, well you're gonna have seventeen and
- 1:52:54Speaker 4: a half years to maybe make you a chief costume
- 1:52:58Speaker 4: where they let him watch Kansas City games they punish him.
- 1:53:00Speaker 1: Well, that'll be depending on who control in the rereck
- 1:53:02Speaker 1: room night.
- 1:53:03Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. I'm serious. Now, that's gonna
- 1:53:08Speaker 2: be the may got it.
- 1:53:11Speaker 1: They might be watching games from LA you see what
- 1:53:14Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 1:53:15Speaker 7: But if the Black Gorilla Family got it, it's gonna
- 1:53:17Speaker 7: be all Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson games.
- 1:53:22Speaker 1: So you know, he better hope he got a little bit.
- 1:53:26Speaker 1: He got a friend's interest.
- 1:53:27Speaker 23: That he any All the stories I saw about that,
- 1:53:31Speaker 23: it showed him in the wolf costume, Like I don't
- 1:53:35Speaker 23: know what this guy looks like.
- 1:53:37Speaker 4: Well, he's gonna get comfortable. You got seventeen years to
- 1:53:39Speaker 4: google him. Seventeen and a half years he was sentenced
- 1:53:42Speaker 4: to prison for bank robberies across for different states. He
- 1:53:49Speaker 4: went on a Brinks free modern day Bunny and Clyde or.
- 1:53:54Speaker 1: Were just Clyde? Just Clyde? Yeah, he identifies both though.
- 1:54:02Speaker 1: And Tom Brady had his debut.
- 1:54:05Speaker 4: We were talking about that Cowboy Brown's game, Tom Brady
- 1:54:10Speaker 4: a lot of people, so hater, think about the first
- 1:54:15Speaker 4: time you was on it at a job. Yeah, like
- 1:54:17Speaker 4: you did so great, Tom Brady, first time in the
- 1:54:20Speaker 4: booth after so long of life playing football. I thought
- 1:54:25Speaker 4: he did a good job as the game went on
- 1:54:28Speaker 4: of learning how to feel and be colorful and let
- 1:54:33Speaker 4: his personality out. So for you out there, like he
- 1:54:36Speaker 4: was supposed to take the mic, he was a twenty
- 1:54:40Speaker 4: year vet, right, expectations are crazy.
- 1:54:45Speaker 7: And then I noticed too that he had to work
- 1:54:47Speaker 7: on getting his thoughts completed before the play actually resumed,
- 1:54:52Speaker 7: because he would start saying his part and then the
- 1:54:55Speaker 7: play would resume and they want to go to coloring
- 1:54:57Speaker 7: the action, but he was still making the comment.
- 1:55:00Speaker 1: And as you said, it was day one.
- 1:55:02Speaker 4: It was a job that I do in color analysts
- 1:55:07Speaker 4: and it takes a second even each season to get
- 1:55:12Speaker 4: a real feel of timing of choice words, how to
- 1:55:16Speaker 4: put it in that precise You almost get a feeling
- 1:55:19Speaker 4: of timing up to the next play, how much to say?
- 1:55:23Speaker 4: And I thought he was a great job as a
- 1:55:25Speaker 4: ten year deal, So get used to it. I doubt
- 1:55:28Speaker 4: that he's going to give it up. Probably start liking it.
- 1:55:31Speaker 4: It moves him around, keeps him active, keep them away
- 1:55:34Speaker 4: from that depression that can easily set on when you've
- 1:55:38Speaker 4: done something such a long time.
- 1:55:39Speaker 1: Give him something to do.
- 1:55:42Speaker 4: They are riding by his house on surfboards and Tony Romo.
- 1:55:47Speaker 4: A lot of guys that you didn't think, we're going
- 1:55:49Speaker 4: to do good jobs. They have to learn when they
- 1:55:52Speaker 4: can let their personalities and go and really come into
- 1:55:56Speaker 4: their own. But for one day is people just out
- 1:56:00Speaker 4: there waiting to hate, and a lot of it. Like
- 1:56:03Speaker 4: I said, most hate now is generated when they see
- 1:56:06Speaker 4: how much you make doing something. They go right to
- 1:56:09Speaker 4: right right thinking that oh, okay, it wasn't worth that
- 1:56:13Speaker 4: well sorry, well, and I don't know if the Super
- 1:56:18Speaker 4: Soaper Girl wasn't worth what it made either.
- 1:56:20Speaker 1: That let them tell you.
- 1:56:24Speaker 4: But the super Soaker guy is like, no, it was
- 1:56:26Speaker 4: worth every penny, every penny of it.
- 1:56:29Speaker 2: And that's what.
- 1:56:31Speaker 7: I don't know what they were expecting from Tom, like
- 1:56:35Speaker 7: that he was going to come and like you said,
- 1:56:37Speaker 7: or that they were expecting would get him to get
- 1:56:40Speaker 7: into the booth. Surely someone who's got seven National Championship
- 1:56:45Speaker 7: Super Bowl rings would It would take a couple of
- 1:56:48Speaker 7: dollars to get him to stop living that life and
- 1:56:52Speaker 7: be accountable every weekend somewhere.
- 1:56:54Speaker 4: So Angel Reese, the star power forward for the Chicago
- 1:56:58Speaker 4: Sky is calling her her season to an end, coming
- 1:57:03Speaker 4: to an end with a risk injury. She ends the
- 1:57:07Speaker 4: season thirteen points, thirteen rebounds of angel reach. And as
- 1:57:13Speaker 4: I said, since the all start with not the All
- 1:57:15Speaker 4: Star break, since the Olympic break, Caitlin Clark really has
- 1:57:21Speaker 4: dominated pushed her team into the playoffs. And that's the
- 1:57:24Speaker 4: pivotal part right there when you think about it. At
- 1:57:29Speaker 4: the All Star break, you saw at fifty to fifty
- 1:57:33Speaker 4: and then we started playing the second half and one
- 1:57:37Speaker 4: player just started having a more successful season. But Angel
- 1:57:41Speaker 4: Reies definitely easily could be second team power forward, had
- 1:57:46Speaker 4: a good year, bounce back year.
- 1:57:49Speaker 1: I was happy for.
- 1:57:50Speaker 4: I think one thing we did in the media was
- 1:57:53Speaker 4: we made way too much between the two as rivals.
- 1:57:57Speaker 4: You don't even remember them playing really other than the
- 1:58:01Speaker 4: little ring symbol or whatever she did that one game.
- 1:58:04Speaker 4: Everything else was kind of cosmetic. We kind of just
- 1:58:07Speaker 4: made up, Yeah, the friction, what we wanted to see,
- 1:58:11Speaker 4: what we wanted it to be Like Tyrek Hill.
- 1:58:14Speaker 1: Well, I guess because I.
- 1:58:16Speaker 7: Was thinking, when you enter the league as one of
- 1:58:19Speaker 7: the highly touted rookies, you kind of see the entire
- 1:58:22Speaker 7: league as your competition, don't you like all the other
- 1:58:25Speaker 7: rookies you're competing against. So we picked those two to
- 1:58:29Speaker 7: be arch rivals, and I don't really think they're on
- 1:58:31Speaker 7: each other's radar.
- 1:58:33Speaker 4: Yeah, for one of them to come in as a
- 1:58:34Speaker 4: rookie and lead the league and assist and the other
- 1:58:36Speaker 4: one come in and lead the league as a rebounder success.
- 1:58:43Speaker 7: It could be like you compared to Tyreek Hill, it
- 1:58:45Speaker 7: could be Anders was minding her business. She wasn't saying nothing,
- 1:58:49Speaker 7: she wasn't using no profanity, and here come Caitlin Clark.
- 1:58:52Speaker 4: Hey, darky, what you doing? You see what I'm saying?
- 1:58:55Speaker 4: You call that a rebound. It could have been like that.
- 1:58:58Speaker 4: It could have been liked that sports too.
- 1:59:00Speaker 14: You know.
- 1:59:03Speaker 29: The truth is he will throw yours in the ocean.
- 1:59:06Speaker 29: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports June
- 1:59:10Speaker 29: Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:59:42Speaker 4: When here the size of the ocean gets to watch
- 1:59:44Speaker 4: out just a minute to event. First and foremost, we
- 1:59:47Speaker 4: have to congratulate Aroana Sybolenka, uh, the US women's champion.
- 1:59:52Speaker 4: Not just because she won, she's won championship before, but
- 1:59:56Speaker 4: she bought the crowd some alcohol, so you know, you know,
- 2:00:00Speaker 4: drink's on me after you win. That's that's the old, good,
- 2:00:03Speaker 4: old customer Kenny like that.
- 2:00:05Speaker 1: You know, I drink.
- 2:00:09Speaker 4: Drinks some stuff on me. Okay, Jamie Foxx, don't get
- 2:00:13Speaker 4: too far. If you missed any of the show, remember
- 2:00:17Speaker 4: you can go to Amazon podcast, Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio, Audible, Spotify,
- 2:00:24Speaker 4: or Deezer.
- 2:00:25Speaker 1: After the show is over, command you.
- 2:00:28Speaker 4: Greg promises to upload everything going in the ocean today
- 2:00:33Speaker 4: because I just can't take much more of it, and
- 2:00:36Speaker 4: I no im I have to suffer through at least
- 2:00:38Speaker 4: this season. But lord haven Mercy, we got to get
- 2:00:43Speaker 4: rid of this kickoff. I have no clue what y'all,
- 2:00:46Speaker 4: it looks like a waste of time. Some power that
- 2:00:50Speaker 4: be went out to practice for y'all to know, don't
- 2:00:53Speaker 4: know football. The position they are in is how you
- 2:00:56Speaker 4: practice the kickoff in practice, so you don't wear the
- 2:01:01Speaker 4: legs out of their return team or any of the players.
- 2:01:04Speaker 4: Actually that's kind of the position. You just line up there,
- 2:01:08Speaker 4: you go from there so nobody gets tired. It looks
- 2:01:13Speaker 4: like a misuse of about eighty five seconds that we
- 2:01:18Speaker 4: could have just went on to the game as the coaches.
- 2:01:21Speaker 1: He wanted the ball and let's go.
- 2:01:23Speaker 2: But that is terrible.
- 2:01:28Speaker 4: We got to get rid of go back to something,
- 2:01:30Speaker 4: go back to the old one. I don't know what
- 2:01:32Speaker 4: to do, but get rid of the kickoff game in
- 2:01:35Speaker 4: the NFL. So for that, NFL and your new policy.
- 2:01:40Speaker 34: Walked up plank, Big Kenny jts Chick change chick.
- 2:01:54Speaker 4: Under forty nine is Monday night football. Command you greg
- 2:01:57Speaker 4: him from the sports shop. We'll be to have a
- 2:01:59Speaker 4: good afternoon for the sports Shock show.
- 2:02:02Speaker 1: Peace
