  at lunch and we're all just going to like work from home

  be pretty crazy. Pray for the dog owners.

  The first story that I have for you guys is that Kath Ebbs and

  Avery Cyrus have collaborated on some content and this actually

  has some fans turning on them. Amid the JoJo Siwa split drama,

  influencers Kath Ebbs and Avery Cyrus have shocked fans by
• 1:32
  teaming up in content after they seemed to be hanging out
• 1:35
  together. This is big news for the
• 1:37
  unemployed joking. This is big news for JoJo Siwa
• 1:42
  fans who have followed her relationship with Kath.

  Because if you guys remember, obviously Kath and JoJo had a
• 1:50
  very tumultuous split post Big Brother.

  I don't need to get into it. We've talked about it like 100
• 1:55
  times over the past couple of months.

  But for those of you that might have not been around in the

  viral news days of Infinite Scroll, Avery, Cyrus and JoJo

  dated in 2022 and their whole relationship and split was like

  very dramatic. Avery seemingly broke up with

  her girlfriend Sophia, possibly to date JoJo.

  Or at least like she moved on really quickly from Sophia to

  JoJo. And JoJo did the same with Kylie

  Prue to date Avery. And then JoJo ended up breaking

  up with Avery and then JoJo started accusing Avery of using

  her for clout and fame. We all know now JoJo is

  currently dating Chris Hughes. OK, So Kath and Avery being

  together is obviously kind of a fuck you to JoJo.

  It's made some fans feel like Kath and Avery maybe were only

  in it for the clout as they're still kind of like riding this

  JoJo Siwa wave. And, you know, it's obviously

  getting them a lot of views, a lot of attention.

  And that was, like I said, the criticism around Avery and

  Jojo's relationship. And also, it was a little bit of

  the criticism around Kath and Jojo's relationship, especially

  after they broke up and Kath was doing like interviews about it

  and all of this stuff. I don't necessarily think that

  Kath and Avery were dating JoJo for clout.

  I think obviously in the world of fame and celebrities and

  influencers, obviously getting the opportunity to date someone

  as famous as JoJo Siwa, you're going to think about it from a

  business perspective as well. Do I think that they both love

  JoJo and we're also in it for the right reasons?

  Yes. However, of course, there's

  always going to be a bit of that element, which I think is fine

  because that is going to help build their careers.

  And do I think that they met up to share stories about JoJo and

  maybe commiserate together? Yes, probably.

  And do I think that they're using this as an opportunity to

  get some views and some attention?

  Like yes, probably too. I don't think it necessarily

  means that they are like cloud chasing JoJo.

  I think that they know that like people on TikTok are going to

  love to see this collab. They're going to be, Oh my God,

  that's tea. And they're going to a lot of

  views and then they're going to get paid.

  You would do it too for a check, especially if you felt wronged

  by JoJo. They both feel very wronged by

  JoJo. And yeah, so I think whatever,

  all is fair in this case. OK, the next story that I have

  for you guys is that Charlie Xex has clapped back at the

  criticism that she's been facing for using auto tune during her

  Glastonbury set. Users have been posting all over

  X and TikTok criticizing Charlie for quote, barely singing during
• 4:17
  her Glastonbury performance and over using auto tune.

  Some of the biggest tweets about this.

  So Charlie Xex might as well well just be an AI bot.

  Basic lyrics and a ton of auto tune.

  If we're classing this as talent then we might as well just

  succumb to the bots doing all the music someone else wrote.

  This Glastonbury set by Charli XCX is one of the worst things

  I've ever seen in my life. Barely singing auto tune in the

  rare moments she does sing a bit and horrendous dancing.

  Be fuming if you spent ages getting into that crowd only to

  see that OK Savage Charlie clapped back at these criticisms

  in her own ex posts she said. Really enjoying these boomer

  vibe comments on my Glastonbury performance.

  It's super fascinating to me. Like the idea that singing with

  deliberate auto tune makes you a fraud or that not having a

  traditional band suddenly means you must not be a real artist is

  like the most boring take ever yon.

  Sorry just fell asleep. But to be honest I enjoy the

  discourse. In my opinion the best art is

  divisive and confrontational and often evolves into truly

  I don't really understand why people are criticizing Charlie

  for using auto tune like that is part of her her whole thing.

  an in between of like a singer performer and almost like DJ is

  like, hyping up the crowd and like, you're there to listen to

  her song. You're not there to be like, Oh

  my God, her vocals are slang. Like, I'm blown away by this

  performance. It's all about the party vibe

  that she brings. Yeah, I guess it is kind of like

  a DJ. She's like a cross between those

  two things for me. I am sure that true Charli XCX,

  like Brat fans were thrilled to see her perform at Glastonbury.

  And yeah, I feel like these criticisms are kind of wild

  considering like this is her whole thing.

  OK. And the last story that I have

  for you guys is there is some like Mr. Beast thumbnail drama.

  Most of this went down last week, but there has been another

  development, so thought I would cover it now.

  Last week, Mr. Beast found himself in the center of
• 6:35
  controversy related to an AI tool that generates thumbnails.
• 6:39
  The tool was through view Stats, which is a platform that
• 6:42
  creators can use to track their growth.
• 6:44
  And it was also Co founded by Mr. Beast.
• 6:46
  He released View Stats AI, saying that he hoped it would
• 6:49
  quote help smaller creators make better thumbnails in a video.
• 6:53
  He also explained that the tool could take inspiration from
• 6:56
  existing thumbnails when generating an image, or just
• 6:59
  make it from scratch after writing out a prompt.

  While this clearly was an attempt to streamline workflow,
• 7:04
  it was not well received. Many creators are fighting what
• 7:07
  seems like a multi front war against AI, especially when it
• 7:12
  comes to plagiarism and the theft of intellectual property.

  And obviously there are times when AI is useful.

  I think it's like the generative AI where it's like creating,

  creating content and art like that is where it's like really
• 7:23
  damaging obviously for the environment and also for the
• 7:27
  entire like industry of creatives, creators, all that
• 7:31
  space. So, you know, seeing all of this

  backed by Mr. Beast, like the biggest creator basically in the
• 7:37
  world feels a bit ominous. And it is just another example
• 7:42
  in my opinion that proves that Mister Beast is in it solely for
• 7:47
  like money, fame, validation. He is not in this space of
• 7:52
  creating content for anything beyond that like he is.

  He's not creatively inspired by content.

  He's not doing this for the love of it.

  He is like a true businessman because this is essentially

  taking away jobs, you know, from graphic designers and other

  similar roles of people that are creating thumbnails for a

  living. Not just thumbnails, but you

  know what I mean. OK, so Mr. Beast went on to

  issue a follow up, admitting that he missed the mark in the

  next post he wrote. Hey, thanks for all your

  feedback on the View Stats AI thumbnail tool.

  We pulled it and added a funnel for creators to find real

  thumbnail artists to Commission. I actually like that that is a

  good response. Since all of this went down, Mr.

  Beast has since called out an AI company who used the whole

  situation to promote their product.

  As reported by Dexterdo Quote, AI Company 1 of 10 has offered a

  discount to users who still want an AI thumbnail generator using

  Mr. Beast's name as a promo code.

  Yet he isn't too pleased about that.

  Using his name as a promo code is kind of wild.

  That is audacity. Mr. Beast addressed the company

  himself, responding to the company's post about the
• 8:56
  discount code he wrote. That's rude.

  So I'll reply to boost this Dick head to my audience.

  Everyone who got mad at me for having an AI thumbnail tool, why

  don't you go after one of 10 for stealing jobs.

  It's giving capitalism, it's giving Mr. Beast trying to take
