- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:10defending biblical Christianity.
- 0:13No topic off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Fierazzo.
- 0:20Friends, family and Christ, thank you a lot to get to today with John Haller.

- 1:43Thank you for being monthly donors that keeps us going.
- 1:46We really appreciate it.
- 1:47All right, John Haller, our guest today.
- 1:49Let's jump right into this, John, but I want to get your take.
- 1:52I haven't talked to you since the results and the outcome of the presidential election.
- 1:57But before we do that, John, you sent me a text last night.
- 2:01We were talking about, you know, what we're going to discuss today.
- 2:04And you said, let's get it done before the nuke's fly.
- 2:11People get an insight into our text back and forth.
- 2:13I thought that was interesting.
- 2:14I know you're referring to Russia.
- 2:16Speak to that before we talk about the election outcome.
- 2:19So with the war in Ukraine, Russia's been pretty specific.
- 2:24I mean, if I wanted to describe it in a pejorative term, and since I don't have to go see Putin
- 2:29any time, I guess I can do that.
- 2:32But, you know, Russia's always whining about the fact that, well, we invaded a country.
- 2:36We've been decimating a country.
- 2:39And we're getting help from North Korea.
- 2:41We're getting help from Iran.
- 2:43But don't you, Ukrainians, don't you dare get help from anybody else?
- 2:47So a number of countries, the United States, I believe France and the UK have given missile
- 2:56systems, missiles to the Ukrainians.
- 3:01For a long time, they've not been allowed to use those in attacks on Russian territory.
- 3:07They're a little bit longer-range.
- 3:08For example, we gave them some missiles that have a range of about 190 miles.
- 3:15In Russia is the biggest country on the planet.
- 3:17So it's not very far into Russia, but Russia does have some sensitive installations there.
- 3:22So Russia has said, listen, you know, they've always said we have this nuclear doctrine and
- 3:27we won't use nuclear weapons first.
- 3:30That nuclear weapon, that their nuclear doctrine has been changing over time.
- 3:37And two days ago, well, whenever I don't know where this is playing, on November 19th, they
- 3:43changed that doctrine to say, if we feel threatened with attacks on our territory, we will make
- 3:49first use of nuclear weapons.
- 3:52So they've been rolling out some nuclear missiles, other types of things.
- 4:00They've also heard through intelligence sources that some of their leadership has been
- 4:06taken to underground bunkers, and people are convinced that they're going to nuke the
- 4:10United States any minute because they're upset and they're ticked off.
- 4:15Other, some of us don't, I'm just not sure.
- 4:18I don't know they may or may not do that, but the world is probably at a very tense stage
- 4:26right now.
- 4:27I think, you know, the atomic scientists, they're always saying that it's five minutes to midnight.
- 4:34I think they're up to 90 seconds to midnight for doomsday.
- 4:39They might have upped that another 30 seconds over the last, you know, in the last couple
- 4:44of weeks.
- 4:46So it's a very delicate situation.
- 4:48Ukraine did use US missiles and they did use probably a little bit of missiles called
- 4:54the shadows, shadows, missiles from the UK and attacks in the last 24 hours.
- 5:00And it was interesting, Biden said, yeah, go ahead, you can use our missiles.
- 5:05And they used them and I think at like 45 minutes, they made attacks on Russian territory.
- 5:11So things are, and you know, President-elect Trump is out there saying, hey, you know,
- 5:18wait till I get in office, we'll get this thing resolved.
- 5:22But it almost seems like the outgoing administration is trying to bake in a cake of world war before
- 5:30Trump takes off a step.
- 5:31Yes.
- 5:32That's what it seems like.
- 5:33Yes.
- 5:34January 20 seems like a long ways off right now with the people in power now.
- 5:39And it's not Biden, the people behind Biden.
- 5:43But we've had Mondo Gonzales on Brandon Holthausen and others that have talked about Benjamin
- 5:48Netanyahu's reaction to Donald Trump winning the election.
- 5:52What we haven't talked about, John, is Russia and China.
- 5:54Let's start with Russia since you mentioned.
- 5:56We're talking about nukes and how they're reacting to Ukraine.
- 6:00What do you think, just what can you tell us about how Putin might be understanding the
- 6:08election results in America, how that affects him?
- 6:10I think that the thing is sort of a general world reaction to the election of Trump is that
- 6:17Trump is viewed across the world as kind of volatile, unpredictable, and you know, changing
- 6:25for a moment to moment in what he's thinking, which I think is probably an accurate assessment.
- 6:32And in certain parts of the world, like the era of world, that really gives him the impression,
- 6:37gives them the impression that the United States may be the strong horse again.
- 6:40Now, I don't know how capable our military is, and I think we're going to talk about an
- 6:45article from Foreign Affairs here in a little bit.
- 6:49But this, so I think Putin and Xi, it's going to be one of two things.
- 6:54They're either going to hold off because they don't know how Trump would react when he
- 6:59comes into office on January 20th, but then again, they may say, we better do what we want
- 7:06to do to bake our own cake on how the world is organized before Trump comes into office.
- 7:13So it's going to be a very volatile couple of months here before Trump takes office.
- 7:20Agreed.
- 7:21Agreed.
- 7:22Just be ready, Christians.
- 7:23Right.
- 7:24Yeah.
- 7:25So, John, you sent me another article about from the International Criminal Court that arrest
- 7:30warrants have been issued for Prime Minister Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Gallant.
- 7:38That was breaking as of a couple days ago, but tell us about that and how that relates
- 7:44to what we're discussing today.
- 7:46Now, look, I think that it's clear that what we're seeing in the world is a epidemic of
- 7:53anti-Semitism.
- 7:55And by the way, it's very distressing to see this coming from people that a lot of people
- 8:02on the conservative right wing political spectrum, you know, that Christians listen to have
- 8:10become these rabbit anti-Semites.
- 8:14It's very, very troubling to me.
- 8:17But what you're seeing in it on the world scale, so recently the UN Security Council had
- 8:26a resolution presented to it that would say that you need to do a ceasefire in Gaza and
- 8:35then, you know, then talk about the hostages.
- 8:38The United States was the only member of the UN Security Council, there are 15, five
- 8:44permanent and then 10 rotating members.
- 8:47The 15 members of the Security Council, the United States was the only one to vote now.
- 8:51Now, because the United States voted now, the Security Council resolution can't go any
- 8:57further.
- 8:59But if you remember back during the Obama administration, there was a resolution that
- 9:04said Israel essentially needed to abandon all lands from the 1949 armistice lines, like
- 9:13and and give them to the Palestinian people for a country, a state, the strategically
- 9:20important high ground, give back the goal on heights, give back everything, and then give
- 9:27back at least half of the old city of Jerusalem to the Palestinians, and they would be able
- 9:33to establish their capital there.
- 9:35So the capital of Palestinians would be included in the area of the Mount of Olives and two quarters,
- 9:42two or three quarters of the old city of Jerusalem.
- 9:45Maybe the whole, I'm just telling you, the world is against Israel.
- 9:50That from a Bible prophecy standpoint, we read about this in Zachariah 12, we read about
- 9:56Zachariah 14, and we know that when Jesus returns, he sort of settles up all the accounts.
- 10:03But until then, there's a lot of turmoil, but I'm telling you, so I'm afraid that what
- 10:09I think the, what I call the Obama administration may try to not veto a resolution.
- 10:18Now this one was pretty easy to get them to veto this resolution because it didn't
- 10:25really make the ceasefire contingent on releasing the hostages.
- 10:31And seven of the hostages, you know, as of, you know, the third week in November are still
- 10:37our American citizens, assuming, and they may not even be alive.
- 10:41They're holding about 101 hostages or bodies of hostages.
- 10:48So it's going to be, so they back in, you know, at the end of the Obama administration,
- 10:56they did not veto a resolution.
- 10:58I suspect that they may do something like that.
- 11:01Now they're pushing to get a ceasefire and loving in, in part, and Iran seems to have
- 11:06backed off.
- 11:07And I think Iran's kind of backed off because they're like, well, we don't know what Trump's
- 11:13going to do.
- 11:14You know, they've been saying that they're going to respond to the latest Israeli attack
- 11:18at the end of October, but, you know, we're sitting here a month or so later and they
- 11:23have not responded yet.
- 11:25Interesting.
- 11:26Do you think they're prepping?
- 11:27They could be prepping, but it's also that the Israeli attack at the end of October was
- 11:33a stunning military operation in terms of its tactics, its success, and that type of thing.
- 11:41So what they were able to do was essentially destroy the air defense systems of Syria,
- 11:49Iraq, and Iran, and also cause massive damage to a secret Iranian nuclear facility at
- 11:58Part 10.
- 11:59Yes.
- 12:00And the facility at Part 10, by the way, it was interesting because the Biden administration
- 12:06said, don't you dare attack any of their nuclear installations.
- 12:10But then they went after one that everybody agreed was a secret installation.
- 12:18And so the Iranians can't come out and say, hey, they attacked our nuclear installation
- 12:23because they're confirming that it was a nuclear installation when they denied it.
- 12:27And the Biden administration can't do anything because they can't come out and say, wait a minute,
- 12:32you did get a secret nuclear installation.
- 12:34So I will say that the attacks that Israel has done since September, remember they talked
- 12:42with the, excuse me, the Operation Beeper.
- 12:48And then they got the beepers to explode, and the next day when they were having funerals
- 12:55and everything, then the pages, no, I'm sorry, the pages exploded, so they went to
- 13:00the walkie talkies and the walkie talkies exploded.
- 13:04So that's brilliant.
- 13:07So John, in just two minutes now before we take just a very brief pause, what do you think
- 13:14the left is learning or do you think they're in denial regarding the overwhelming positive
- 13:21response to the electing, re-electing President Trump?
- 13:25Listen to the view and the typical outlets of the leftists, Marxists, socialists, they're
- 13:33not getting it.
- 13:34They refuse to, in fact, they want to double down.
- 13:36What is your take on overall the left and how they are seeing?
- 13:41There's very few voices it seems that are speaking in a way like, okay, well, they did
- 13:46win fair and square, and this is the majority want.
- 13:50Those policies, very few are saying that.
- 13:52Go ahead.
- 13:53You know, it was a pretty stunning and broad victory that President Trump and the Republicans
- 13:58had.
- 13:59Congress is still very closely divided, both the House and the Senate, you know, a lot
- 14:08of work was done by Republicans in advance of the election to take care of potential
- 14:13areas of fraud.
- 14:14And even when it happened, they got a Supreme Court decision in Pennsylvania and a couple
- 14:19of the election boards came out, so we don't care what the Supreme Court says.
- 14:22And the Pennsylvania Supreme Court came out and in all caps, bold italics said, you will
- 14:29obey our prior order and not count those ballots because they're not valid.
- 14:36And so, and so there's a new Republican senator from the state of Pennsylvania.
- 14:42So listen, a lot of people are melting down.
- 14:45A lot of people are changing even morning Joe, which some people rule from MSNBC.
- 14:52Which is now calling morning Joe, MOUR and IMG, morning Joe, but even Joe and Mika went
- 15:00down and had a meeting with Trump and now everybody on the left's upset with them.
- 15:04And of course, we know there's these women that are, I don't know, they're dying
- 15:08they're here, they're shaving their heads and they're saying, you know, we're not, we
- 15:12won't marry you or we won't have your baby or anything like that.
- 15:16And my reaction is thanks for identifying yourself.
- 15:20So nobody waste time with you.
- 15:23I don't think we're interested in you anyway because it's, they're, the melting down
- 15:31and the crying and all of this stuff is pretty apparent, but you're, you're seeing a lot
- 15:36of people in Washington, DC, given what they did with law fair and everything that are
- 15:43a little bit nervous.
- 15:44Now, a lot of Republicans say we don't want to do anything with vengeance, but I don't
- 15:49think you act with vengeance, you act to train people not to do this if you ever get
- 15:54power again.
- 15:56And I think you're going to see, I think you're going to see a lot of prosecutions, whether
- 16:00the attorney general is back gates or somebody else.
- 16:04I'm just telling you, I think the advice in Washington, DC is lawyer up.
- 16:10Now that doesn't mean, by the way, you lawyer up whether you're guilty or innocent,
- 16:13because the going through the criminal process is a minefield, and you do need a lawyer
- 16:18to help guide you, but there's, there's going to be some prosecutions come out of this.
- 16:24I mean, in like the cases against Trump, even his conviction where he was convicted in
- 16:29New York State, they're talking about, well, let's put that on hold for four years.
- 16:34They actually said that the other day, because they're on the verge of the court of appeals,
- 16:39they're dismissing that case and sanctioning the prosecutors for bringing such a ridiculous
- 16:44case in the first instance.
- 16:46It was a legally, it was a legal joke.
- 16:50What they tried to do.
- 16:51And the court of appeals judges at the hearing, they said that, and by the end of the hearing,
- 16:56the prosecutors were not defending what they did, they were asking the court of appeals,
- 17:01please don't sanction us when you dismiss this case.
- 17:05So we got to take a brief pause, when we come back, we're, I'm going to just give people
- 17:08the subtitle of this article we're going to go to at Foreign Affairs, and it is technology
- 17:14is remaking war and America must adapt more with John Haller coming up on World View Matters.

- 18:42So go to worldviewmatters.tv and make your tax deductible gift during this time when we're
- 18:49doing our fundraiser back to John Hall or okay, John, the battle of precise mass.
- 18:55What does that mean and why is technology so important now?
- 18:59Is it just the fact that there's not as many deaths of human beings?
- 19:05Their limiting collateral damage of strikes is technology that important.
- 19:11Just walk us through this briefly.
- 19:12Well, you know, there's a there's a there's a series of articles in the most recent issue
- 19:17of foreign affairs called World of War.
- 19:21And I talked about something in my update on Sunday, November 17th and I will be in
- 19:26the future because I think they're very well thought out.
- 19:28And these are coming from the technocrats.
- 19:30So what's happening in battles of precise mass is the war in Ukraine between Russian
- 19:35Ukraine is become almost a laboratory for future warfare.
- 19:41And what's happening is that they're finding that a lot of systems that have been relied
- 19:47on before.
- 19:48So you know, the Pentagon, it's a big building.
- 19:50So they think we need to build big expensive systems to do things.
- 19:56And what they're finding is that with drones and other technology, they can bypass a lot
- 20:02of these big expensive systems.
- 20:05So Russia and China and a lot of other countries are developing.
- 20:10I think India just came out and announced something the other day are developing hypersonic
- 20:16missiles.
- 20:18These are missiles that fly at a speed of Mach 5 or about five times the speed of sound
- 20:24anywhere up to 10 or 11 times the speed of sound.
- 20:27They can also change direction.
- 20:30They can fly a long distance.
- 20:33And it's very difficult for missile systems to shut this down.
- 20:36Now, some people think that the technology is overhyped at present, but certainly Russia's
- 20:41been talking about this for six or seven years that they have hypersonic missiles.
- 20:46The problem with that is that one precision directed hypersonic missile could take out
- 20:54a multi-billion dollar aircraft carrier.
- 20:57So you might spend three, four, five million dollars on a hypersonic missile.
- 21:03It can destroy whatever our aircraft carriers were cost 50 billion dollars or whatever.
- 21:09And they can be gone.
- 21:11And so that makes it difficult.
- 21:13The other advantage is that they're unmanned systems in a lot of cases so you can fly at
- 21:19faster speeds.
- 21:20So for example, we've all seen the top gun movies, you know, the human body can only stand
- 21:25so many G-forcer turns and you pass out.
- 21:30But if you can make that a pilot, an aircraft without a pilot, you can do things.
- 21:37So what they're finding though is that these drones can be mass produced, even Ukraine
- 21:44announced last year in the midst of a war, the country has devastated.
- 21:51They were going to be able to produce.
- 21:53They thought a million drones in Ukraine in one year.
- 22:00So now we've seen these things and you see the drone arrays, like it New Year's Eve
- 22:08celebrations and that type of thing, China just did.
- 22:11I think they set a record where they simultaneously launched and controlled 8,500 drones.
- 22:19Multiply that by a thousand because of the way computing power is increasing.
- 22:25You might soon be able to control 1 to 8 million to 8 million drones at one time.
- 22:34That makes it difficult to defend against and so that's why they're talking about battles
- 22:39of precise mass.
- 22:41Okay.
- 22:42Drones are small, fast, can be piloted from afar.
- 22:46Some of them have their own built-in artificial intelligence systems to do the programming
- 22:51of how they're going to go.
- 22:53They don't even really need to be in communication with a base station.
- 22:58And so these drones are able to go in and take out people and installations.
- 23:06And so now, you know, Ukraine was putting up videos of drones that they had that were
- 23:12able to essentially drop molten metal on tanks and destroy tanks.
- 23:18But you can get a $2,000, $5,000, $10,000 drone can take out a $30 million battle tank.
- 23:27Wow.
- 23:28This is changing.
- 23:29But the other problem is that it makes this type of warfare accessible to more countries
- 23:37because of the cost that's dealing up.
- 23:39So the United States has a thing, I think, my friend Britschalette, who I've been
- 23:44on some roundtables with, has talked about molecular manufacturing where they manufacture
- 23:52these things at a molecular level very quickly.
- 23:56They can be controlled.
- 23:57You know, there's the kind of famous video movie that had, you know, the drones, a small
- 24:04swarm of drones, like a swarm of bees circling a guy.
- 24:09And they all had a bullet or some kind of package that could explode and take a guy out.
- 24:16And right now, there's really not a lot of defense.
- 24:19So that's why a country like when Israel gets in a battle with Hezbollah and Lebanon,
- 24:27they have a lot of missiles and rockets and Israel has ironed down.
- 24:32They have arrow three missiles, they have, you know, aircraft that can take out things.
- 24:36But sometimes these drones get through and they fly around the country for like two or
- 24:40three hours because they fly low to the ground.
- 24:44They're hard to find.
- 24:47And it's, and I have friends in Ukraine and they tell me that, you know, these shahed drones
- 24:51that they get from, from Iran, they come in with, they, they sound like lawn mowers.
- 24:56They have very simple gas engine on.
- 25:01It's the sound of a swarm of us.
- 25:03They might take out 90% of them, but 10% get through and they don't cost that much.
- 25:09They cost like, I don't know, five or 10 grand at most to build and put together.
- 25:14So Iran can scale up very quickly.
- 25:17Other countries can scale up.
- 25:19And then when you add into computing power and artificial intelligence and all of this.
- 25:24So what this article on foreign affairs is saying, battles of precise masses that listen.
- 25:30This is changing warfare in the United States needs to adapt.
- 25:34So you may not need a huge air force or a huge naval fleet or anything like that.
- 25:42But the problem is everybody else is going to be able to do that too.
- 25:45So the world of work is changing very quickly.
- 25:50And I mean, it's also dealing with it with Iran.
- 25:54And because Iran is in one of the other articles in the foreign affairs was about,
- 25:59it's called the age of depopulation that Iran is in demographic collapse,
- 26:04as are most of the countries in the West.
- 26:07Japan will lose two million people in population this year.
- 26:12Hmm.
- 26:13Last year, they lost a million.
- 26:14China will probably lose six million in population this year.
- 26:19That's one and a half times the city of Los Angeles is just gone from your population.
- 26:24And so Iran has been told and has said in their own newspapers,
- 26:29they've had the fastest collapse and female fertility of any country in human history.
- 26:35So that makes them more likely to try to go to these technologies,
- 26:40to try to use these technologies and maybe to use them now.
- 26:43That's why I kind of think a lot of these things are converging to see
- 26:47a wrap up of these things and Bible prophecy in the very near future.
