- 0:00Speaker 1: Now is your time. Now is the time where the
- 0:06Speaker 1: talking is done. Now is the moment where you got
- 0:10Speaker 1: to make a decision. And the decision is simply this.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Are you ready to take the next step? Listen, no
- 0:18Speaker 1: more stressing. That's it. I'm not about to let.
- 0:20Speaker 2: You stress anymore.
- 0:21Speaker 1: The stress about graduating is over. The stress about that
- 0:27Speaker 1: paper you got to write. The stress about the new
- 0:30Speaker 1: coming year. The stress about going to school. The stress
- 0:35Speaker 1: about those grades. I'm not about to let you stress.
- 0:38Speaker 1: That stress is over. Now is the time for you
- 0:41Speaker 1: to stand up. You can travel the world.
- 0:45Speaker 2: And study students and their behaviors and their mindsets.
- 0:50Speaker 3: There is a science behind achievement.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Now it's time for you to get fueled up. Yeah,
- 0:56Speaker 1: I want you to get mad. I want you to
- 0:58Speaker 1: get sick and tired of being sick and tired. I
- 1:01Speaker 1: want you to get sick and tired of being average.
- 1:07Speaker 3: When you want to let go, when you want to surrender,
- 1:10Speaker 3: when you want to stop, when you're ready to quit,
- 1:15Speaker 3: when you have.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Failed and failed again, let me remind you what got
- 1:21Speaker 2: you here. Remember how you felt when you started. You
- 1:27Speaker 2: were hungry. Hunger got you here. A strong desire got
- 1:34Speaker 2: you here. You were desperate to break curses in your family.
- 1:39Speaker 2: You were desperate to break the cycle of poverty and depression.
- 1:43Speaker 4: You were desperate.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Hunger got you here.
- 1:48Speaker 5: Remember this.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Every dream requires discipline. Every dream requires discipline.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I want you to get sick and tired of failing
- 1:59Speaker 1: over and over again. I want you to get mad. Yeah,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I want you to get so mad that you start
- 2:04Speaker 1: studying like you've never studied before. I want you to
- 2:07Speaker 1: get so mad that you go ahead and buy some books.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I want you to get so mad that you grab
- 2:13Speaker 1: a tutor. I want you to get so mad like
- 2:16Speaker 1: you've never done your homework before. I need you to
- 2:19Speaker 1: get fired up.
- 2:20Speaker 6: Are you ready?
- 2:22Speaker 2: Are you ready?
- 2:23Speaker 3: Because now is your time. Life is a test. And
- 2:34Speaker 3: in life, there are ups and there are downs. And
- 2:38Speaker 3: so accept the responsibility. See yourself as primarily responsible for
- 2:42Speaker 3: your outcomes and your experiences. You are going to need discipline.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Motivation will help you get started. But discipline is going
- 2:52Speaker 3: to keep you on the road to your destiny. You
- 2:55Speaker 3: got to be self-motivated. You got to find purpose in
- 2:59Speaker 3: what you do by discovering personally meaningful goals and dreams.
- 3:05Speaker 3: If you're going to be a successful student, if you're
- 3:07Speaker 3: going to come out on top, you've got to start.
- 3:10Speaker 7: Managing your time. The rigors of academic life can be brutal.
- 3:17Speaker 7: Long days of classes. Long nights of studying. And low
- 3:23Speaker 7: cash flow requires you to be frugal. Projects, case studies,
- 3:29Speaker 7: pop quizzes, and final exams will test your morals and
- 3:34Speaker 7: your scruples. But you keep pushing and pushing because you
- 3:40Speaker 7: know one day all of that hard work and studying
- 3:44Speaker 7: will pay off and be fruitful.
- 3:51Speaker 8: They didn't know that you had that hustle in you.
- 3:55Speaker 8: They didn't know that the beast that you were becoming,
- 3:57Speaker 8: they wasn't doing anything but add more fuel to the fire.
- 4:02Speaker 8: They didn't understand what it felt like to struggle. They
- 4:07Speaker 8: didn't understand that the competition was you. All the haters
- 4:12Speaker 8: that went against you, all the people that doubted you.
- 4:18Speaker 8: They didn't know who you was becoming.
- 4:21Speaker 7: You've seen many others succumb to academic demise. And wind
- 4:26Speaker 7: up with the wrong letter on their transcript. The dreaded W.
- 4:33Speaker 7: Which painfully stands for withdrawal. But that's where you draw
- 4:36Speaker 7: the line. Because you made a vow to choose incline
- 4:39Speaker 7: over decline. Fast forward over rewind. Redesign over recline. And
- 4:46Speaker 7: hard grind over pout and whine. You made the choice
- 4:52Speaker 7: to dig deep within. And thus the only W you
- 4:56Speaker 7: will ever get will be the W that stands for win.
- 5:01Speaker 7: Because winners like you pick themselves up when they stumble
- 5:03Speaker 7: and slip. Winners like you understand that it's impossible to
- 5:06Speaker 7: never trip. Winners like you are strong enough to say
- 5:09Speaker 7: no when their friends want them to take a sip.
- 5:14Speaker 7: Winners like you trust the process so steps they never
- 5:17Speaker 7: ever try and skip. And that chip on your shoulder,
- 5:21Speaker 7: it remains to remind you of all the doubters, naysayers,
- 5:24Speaker 7: and haters That said you would never walk across that
- 5:27Speaker 7: stage and receive that paper. But more fuel for your fire.
- 5:35Speaker 7: Just make success. So much greater. Because you're overcoming the
- 5:43Speaker 7: sour taste of now. To get to the sweet taste
- 5:47Speaker 7: of later. You adjust to all the different personalities of
- 5:51Speaker 7: your teachers and professors. And enjoy those that are super cool.
- 5:55Speaker 7: but stay mentally prepared for those that are stressors. Blessings
- 5:59Speaker 7: seem to find you because the universe conspires to make
- 6:03Speaker 7: sure everything falls into place because you've got so much heart, passion,
- 6:08Speaker 7: and desire. Your fire keeps burning.
- 6:13Speaker 8: Turn your haters into your motivators. And never let anybody
- 6:19Speaker 8: else's opinion.
- 6:22Speaker 9: Be bigger than your own. Understand the struggles that you
- 6:27Speaker 9: go through are helping you to get to your destiny.
- 6:34Speaker 9: The adversity and hills that you have to run, the
- 6:38Speaker 9: mountains that you have to climb, it's taking you to greatness.
- 6:46Speaker 8: So I'm telling you, don't run from the adversity. Don't
- 6:50Speaker 8: run from the problem. Because if you don't face it,
- 6:54Speaker 8: you can become it. It's going to make you stronger.
- 7:04Speaker 8: It's going to make you better. You want to leave
- 7:12Speaker 8: a legacy and contribute to the greater good. So for now,
- 7:18Speaker 8: it's the uncomfortable discipline and sacrifice. Because to cash out
- 7:25Speaker 8: in the future means today you gotta pay the price.
- 7:29Speaker 8: So that means when your friends ask, can you go?
- 7:33Speaker 8: Your heart wants to say yes, but your willpower says no.
- 7:38Speaker 7: Because Mr. Jones Thermochemistry 3202 ain't no joke. And so
- 7:44Speaker 7: you gotta be locked in and stay woke. Because he's
- 7:49Speaker 7: all about business and doesn't give any rope. So if
- 7:55Speaker 7: you miss any assignments or fail any test, you have
- 7:59Speaker 7: very little hope of passing his class. But you will
- 8:04Speaker 7: pass his class and you will pass it with flying colors.
- 8:10Speaker 7: Because you, my friend, are an academic hustler. And thus
- 8:15Speaker 7: you put in the time, the effort, and ask all
- 8:17Speaker 7: the right questions to make sure all of your bases
- 8:20Speaker 7: are covered. The vultures will hate you. You tried to
- 8:25Speaker 7: give them vision, but they never put on the right frames.
- 8:29Speaker 7: And thus their sight was blurry and that gray reflected it.
- 8:34Speaker 7: And now they want to throw shade at you, but
- 8:36Speaker 7: your shield deflected it. You tell them winning in progress
- 8:41Speaker 7: over here. So please eliminate the negative vibe. It's time
- 8:45Speaker 7: to remove them from your circle. So when that person
- 8:50Speaker 7: comes up to you and says, do you know what
- 8:52Speaker 7: time it is? You look them dead in the eye
- 8:57Speaker 7: and say, it's winning time. Because that's where your mind
- 9:02Speaker 7: is at. See, losers focus on winners. But winners focus
- 9:09Speaker 7: on winning. Winners wake up every day with this mindset
- 9:13Speaker 7: that no matter how successful they are, no matter how
- 9:16Speaker 7: great they are, they always act like they're losing. They
- 9:21Speaker 7: always act like they're the underdog. That way they keep
- 9:27Speaker 7: the edge. What's your mindset? Are you thinking that you're
- 9:34Speaker 7: gonna win no matter what? Now I'm not saying that
- 9:37Speaker 7: winning is everything. What I am saying is, wanting to
- 9:43Speaker 7: win is. If you think like a loser, losing will
- 9:47Speaker 7: find you. Henry Ford said, whether you think you can
- 9:52Speaker 7: or whether you think you cannot, You're probably right. If
- 9:57Speaker 7: you can find a way to positive in the middle
- 10:03Speaker 7: of a negative situation, then you, my friend, ultimately win.
- 10:12Speaker 7: Don't think for one second that you were put on
- 10:15Speaker 7: this earth to lose. You were born to win.
- 10:23Speaker 4: Because there's a success formula, head, heart, hands. You could
- 10:27Speaker 4: think about things in your mind, set goals in your
- 10:30Speaker 4: head and affirmations, KPIs, objectives. But if you're not acting
- 10:33Speaker 4: with your hands and you're procrastinating, raise your hand if
- 10:36Speaker 4: you ever procrastinated before.
- 10:38Speaker 5: Right?
- 10:39Speaker 4: All of us. If there's a gap between your head
- 10:41Speaker 4: and your hands, check in with the second H, which
- 10:44Speaker 4: is your heart.
- 10:45Speaker 5: Right?
- 10:45Speaker 4: The emotion. We do things emotionally. We are emotional creatures.
- 10:49Speaker 4: We're not logical. We're biological. Dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, endorphins. We're
- 10:54Speaker 4: this chemical soup. And so we want to be able
- 10:56Speaker 4: to activate that. So head, heart, hands. Another way of
- 11:00Speaker 4: putting it are our eyes.
- 11:02Speaker 7: Information.
- 11:03Speaker 4: That's good.
- 11:04Speaker 5: Great.
- 11:05Speaker 4: But sometimes you can listen to a podcast. It's a
- 11:06Speaker 4: lot of information, but there's no inspiration to use it. Fair?
- 11:11Speaker 4: But sometimes you can listen to a speaker or learn
- 11:13Speaker 4: something and it's inspiring and but you don't know what
- 11:16Speaker 4: to do. So you have information, you have inspiration, and
- 11:19Speaker 4: then you have implementation where you're doing it. And I
- 11:22Speaker 4: feel like when you get all three eyes together, you
- 11:25Speaker 4: have the most powerful eye, which is integration. That's my
- 11:28Speaker 4: goal for all of you is that when you read something,
- 11:31Speaker 4: you listen to something, you learn something, it becomes part
- 11:34Speaker 4: of who you are. It's integrated. here, here, and here.
- 11:39Speaker 4: And then you have an alignment and what you, what,
- 11:41Speaker 4: how it performs is it looks like magic to people. When,
- 11:46Speaker 4: you know, when somebody is aligned and they're in their element,
- 11:48Speaker 4: it looks like it's effortless. You know, these flow states,
- 11:52Speaker 4: it's powerful. It's three parts to it that I focus on.
- 11:55Speaker 4: You know, when, how many of you have ever been
- 11:56Speaker 4: in a zone? And that's how it is when I'm reading.
- 12:01Speaker 4: It's just, there's a piece to it. It's like somebody
- 12:04Speaker 4: who's fit and has strategies. If they have to climb
- 12:07Speaker 4: a mountain, it looks like it's effortless because they've just
- 12:10Speaker 4: done the work and they have strategy and they have
- 12:12Speaker 4: tools to be able to do so. And somebody who
- 12:14Speaker 4: maybe doesn't have those resources, it's more effort. Is that fair?
- 12:19Speaker 4: So actually learning how to do these things, it's easier.
- 12:22Speaker 4: Like when I read a book, I still read a
- 12:24Speaker 4: book a day. It's just part of my practice. It's
- 12:27Speaker 4: part of my mental hygiene. And I feel like it's
- 12:29Speaker 4: the number one exercise because reading is to your mind
- 12:32Speaker 4: like exercise is to your body. And some of you
- 12:34Speaker 4: are already doing this. So I'm preaching to you. So
- 12:36Speaker 4: I'm going to show you how to do it better.
- 12:38Speaker 4: But those of you who aren't on the other spectrum
- 12:40Speaker 4: reading at all, the average person reads like two books
- 12:43Speaker 4: a year. Now, if you're reading like more than that,
- 12:46Speaker 4: that means somebody is reading a lot less, right? On
- 12:48Speaker 4: the other side. But it's the best exercise for your brain.
- 12:52Speaker 4: People ask me all the time, how do I keep
- 12:53Speaker 4: my brain young and how do I keep it energetic?
- 12:55Speaker 4: And as I grow older, reading, reading. But the problem
- 12:59Speaker 4: is a lot of people don't indulge in it because
- 13:01Speaker 4: they're not good at it. And I wouldn't be playing
- 13:04Speaker 4: a lot of golf if I was horrible at it
- 13:05Speaker 4: all the time. But in psychology, they have something called
- 13:08Speaker 4: the confidence-competence loop. That the more competent you get at something,
- 13:11Speaker 4: the more confident you get at it. And then the
- 13:14Speaker 4: confidence will make you do it more and you get
- 13:16Speaker 4: more competence and then it cycles through in the positive momentum, right?
- 13:20Speaker 4: And you have examples of that in your own life.
- 13:23Speaker 4: So what I'm asking about here, the second part is
- 13:26Speaker 4: the inspiration is why must I use this? who's counting
- 13:30Speaker 4: on me to win today? You know what I mean?
- 13:34Speaker 4: Because some of you, and I bring this up, because
- 13:36Speaker 4: some of you really will do more for other people
- 13:38Speaker 4: than you will for yourself. So knowing that about yourself,
- 13:42Speaker 4: self-awareness is a superpower, then tap into that. You don't
- 13:45Speaker 4: have to change it, tap into it. Who's counting on
- 13:47Speaker 4: me to be at my best? And then you're more
- 13:51Speaker 4: likely to do it. And the reason I know this
- 13:53Speaker 4: is because when I was driven so much, it was
- 13:55Speaker 4: really my family that who I want to make proud.
- 13:58Speaker 4: Like we all have our reasons, right? And one of
- 14:01Speaker 4: my favorite books is Start With Why. It's a must-read
- 14:04Speaker 4: book by Simon Sinek. And you want to start with
- 14:07Speaker 4: your why because reasons reap results. Reasons reap results.
- 14:15Speaker 6: And I want you to use that same analogy in
- 14:18Speaker 6: your head. When you sit down at the desk, when
- 14:21Speaker 6: you get to school, when you get on the bus,
- 14:24Speaker 6: you get on the train, you start walking, you... Get
- 14:27Speaker 6: to the library. Five, four, three, two, one, go. When
- 14:34Speaker 6: you get to the next lesson, five, four, three, two, one, go.
- 14:39Speaker 6: When you're looking for the inspiration, you're looking for the
- 14:42Speaker 6: feeling and feelings are temporary. Feelings come and go. You
- 14:45Speaker 6: can't control how you feel. You know that already. But
- 14:50Speaker 6: what you can control is your level of discipline. The
- 14:53Speaker 6: level of discipline that you have to get started and
- 14:57Speaker 6: that's what you can do to help you get there.
- 15:01Speaker 6: It's not fun to wake up early and read and
- 15:04Speaker 6: read and read and it might be boring to sit
- 15:08Speaker 6: alone in your room or alone in the library studying.
- 15:12Speaker 6: It might not be fun, it might not be easy,
- 15:14Speaker 6: but it is profitable. It does give you results. Think
- 15:18Speaker 6: about all of the great people that we admire in
- 15:21Speaker 6: our society and the things that they must have had
- 15:23Speaker 6: to go through in order to make it look effortless.
- 15:30Speaker 6: motivation is not just going to find you by chance.
- 15:33Speaker 6: It's going to find you warming up in the gym.
- 15:36Speaker 6: It's going to find you with that pen in your
- 15:38Speaker 6: hand 10 minutes into that study session in the library
- 15:41Speaker 6: on a Sunday when there's no one else around. None
- 15:44Speaker 6: of your friends joined you. Motivation might even find you
- 15:48Speaker 6: like me when you get rejected by every single university
- 15:52Speaker 6: you apply for. Sweating, working hard, straining yourself, pushing yourself,
- 15:57Speaker 6: To get things done. And there's only one person in
- 16:02Speaker 6: this world who can make it happen. And that person,
- 16:05Speaker 6: my friend, that person is you. That person is the
- 16:10Speaker 6: one that looks right back at you in the mirror.
- 16:12Speaker 6: And you need to stop looking for guarantees from your
- 16:15Speaker 6: teachers or from the curriculum. And don't get me wrong,
- 16:19Speaker 6: you know, there's plenty of holes in education. There's plenty
- 16:21Speaker 6: of things that I don't agree with. But you have
- 16:25Speaker 6: to learn to play the game. And these are the
- 16:28Speaker 6: words that I wish I had heard when I was younger.
- 16:33Speaker 6: Push yourself, get it done, make it happen. Stop looking
- 16:36Speaker 6: for external motivation and start building that fire inside of you.
- 16:43Speaker 6: Start adding more logs, more petrol to those flames every
- 16:47Speaker 6: single day. And when you're waiting where it's safe, not
- 16:51Speaker 6: only are you wasting time, But you are murdering. Yes,
- 16:56Speaker 6: I use that word intentionally. You're murdering that success that
- 17:00Speaker 6: you crave. Because potential doesn't activate itself on the sidelines.
- 17:05Speaker 6: It activates itself when you're taking action. When you're in
- 17:08Speaker 6: the arena. When you see the people who had less
- 17:12Speaker 6: potential than you achieve more. Because they did what? They
- 17:17Speaker 6: got it done. They made it happen. So the only
- 17:20Speaker 6: thing that I want you to take away from this
- 17:22Speaker 6: video is what... You're either growing, you're either on the
- 17:27Speaker 6: attack or you're on the defense and that means you're decaying.
- 17:30Speaker 6: There is no room for an in-between. So push yourself,
- 17:35Speaker 6: stop waiting and commit today. The only thing that you
- 17:40Speaker 6: need to do is to take action and motivation is
- 17:44Speaker 6: what's created as a by-product. And we have so many things,
- 17:47Speaker 6: the entire culture that revolves around creating the feeling instead
- 17:53Speaker 6: of doing the action. And that's the single thing that
- 17:56Speaker 6: you need to know is if you're looking for the
- 17:58Speaker 6: motivation to study, if you're looking for the motivation to
- 18:01Speaker 6: work hard, if you're looking for the motivation to get started,
- 18:05Speaker 6: you're looking in.
- 18:05Speaker 1: The wrong place.
- 18:06Speaker 6: The only place that you need to look is at
- 18:09Speaker 6: the book, is at the pen. The only thing that
- 18:13Speaker 6: you need to do is to get started. Sit down
- 18:17Speaker 6: at your desk, turn your phone off, close all of
- 18:20Speaker 6: the extra tabs in your window that you don't need
- 18:23Speaker 6: and get going.
- 18:25Speaker 7: Your ultimate goal should be to make each and every
- 18:32Speaker 7: day of your life a Wednesday. And I'm not talking
- 18:37Speaker 7: about the day of the week Wednesday. I'm talking about
- 18:41Speaker 7: W-I-N-S Wednesday. See, winners are willing to go longer, work harder,
- 18:51Speaker 7: and give more than anyone else does. When two winners collide,
- 18:58Speaker 7: I love those epic battles because you hate to see
- 19:01Speaker 7: somebody lose. And in that instance, no one really loses.
- 19:08Speaker 7: One team got the victory. The other team learned. See,
- 19:13Speaker 7: winners are not.
- 19:14Speaker 1: People who never fail.
- 19:16Speaker 7: Winners are people who never quit. Winners are people who
- 19:19Speaker 7: never give in. Their mindset is I'm in it to
- 19:22Speaker 7: win it. And they always feel like it's winning time.
- 19:28Speaker 7: If right now you feel like you're a loser, I
- 19:31Speaker 7: need you to do me a favor. Find yourself a
- 19:34Speaker 7: mirror and repeat after me. I came to win.
- 19:38Speaker 2: I came to fight.
- 19:40Speaker 7: I came to conquer.
- 19:42Speaker 4: I came to thrive.
- 19:44Speaker 2: I came to win.
- 19:46Speaker 7: I came to survive.
- 19:48Speaker 2: I came to prosper.
- 19:50Speaker 4: I came to rise.
- 19:51Speaker 7: I came to fly.
- 19:53Speaker 6: I believe in me.
- 19:56Speaker 7: Right now I subscribe to the thought process that it's
- 19:58Speaker 7: winning time.
- 19:59Speaker 6: Victory lives in me.
- 20:01Speaker 7: And although I may not win every battle, you got
- 20:05Speaker 7: to say to yourself, I will rise. Every time I.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Fall, I will win.
- 20:12Speaker 7: And it may not be immediately, but I definitely will win.
- 20:19Speaker 7: Because champions don't show up to give everything they want.
- 20:23Speaker 7: They show up to give everything they have. For far
- 20:33Speaker 7: too long, you've allowed the volume of your past misfortunes
- 20:38Speaker 7: your past setbacks, and your past failures to play way
- 20:43Speaker 7: too loudly in your speaker of life. I need you
- 20:48Speaker 7: to turn down your past failures and make room to
- 20:54Speaker 7: turn up your future successes. So your problem is you
- 21:00Speaker 7: keep waking up each and every day from a great
- 21:02Speaker 7: night's sleep.
- 21:02Speaker 10: 12 o'clock, 1 o'clock, 2 o'clock, Whenever you want to
- 21:09Speaker 10: wake up.
- 21:11Speaker 7: My problem is you're not even tossing and turning in
- 21:15Speaker 7: your sleep. Just 1000% comfortable. But then you wake up
- 21:20Speaker 7: every day complaining about you not being where you want
- 21:24Speaker 7: to be at in your life. At least if you're
- 21:26Speaker 7: going to sleep, do some tossing and turning. So I
- 21:28Speaker 7: know something is uncomfortable because all the growth happens in
- 21:32Speaker 7: the uncomfort zone. When you're comfortable, you can't grow. You
- 21:38Speaker 7: refuse to To raise your standards. You refuse to push yourself.
- 21:45Speaker 7: You refuse to give a little bit more.
- 21:49Speaker 4: Give a little bit extra.
- 21:50Speaker 7: The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little bit
- 21:58Speaker 7: of extra.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Maybe there was a particular class that you felt like
- 22:04Speaker 1: you couldn't make it past. Yeah, maybe the beginning of
- 22:07Speaker 1: your story comes hardship. Maybe the beginning of your story
- 22:11Speaker 1: was rough, but I got good news for you. There's
- 22:15Speaker 1: another chapter. And the next chapter is going to be
- 22:19Speaker 1: your best chapter. I said the next chapter is going
- 22:24Speaker 1: to be your best chapter. Because the next chapter, you're
- 22:28Speaker 1: getting ready to write something new. The next chapter, it
- 22:32Speaker 1: will say happily ever after. Your next chapter is going
- 22:36Speaker 1: to be better than your last chapter. Because it's not
- 22:39Speaker 1: about how you start. It's about how you finish. Are
- 22:45Speaker 1: you waiting for somebody to tell you to go?
- 22:48Speaker 5: All right, here I go. Go!
- 22:49Speaker 6: What are you waiting for?
- 22:52Speaker 1: Are you waiting for a bell to ring? Okay, here
- 22:53Speaker 1: it is. Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding.
- 22:55Speaker 5: What are you waiting for?
- 22:57Speaker 6: What are you waiting for?
- 22:58Speaker 5: I'm ready.
- 22:58Speaker 1: I dare you to write that. Put it somewhere in
- 23:01Speaker 1: some comment. Put it somewhere. Say, I'm ready. I'm ready
- 23:06Speaker 1: to build a legacy. I'm ready to make my mark.
- 23:10Speaker 1: I'm ready to do this for my family. I'm ready
- 23:12Speaker 1: to do this for my mother. I'm ready to win
- 23:15Speaker 1: for my father. I'm ready to make my last name
- 23:18Speaker 1: bigger than my first name. I'm ready to make history.
- 23:22Speaker 1: I'm ready to do something nobody's ever done before. I'm
- 23:25Speaker 1: ready to speak to every mountain in my way and
- 23:28Speaker 1: tell that mountain to get out my way. I'm ready
- 23:31Speaker 1: to make a difference. I'm ready to do something in
- 23:33Speaker 1: my community. I'm ready to be the leader in my neighborhood.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I'm ready to study. I'm ready to finish these papers.
- 23:42Speaker 1: I'm ready to get this diploma. I'm ready to be educated.
- 23:47Speaker 8: I'm ready.
- 23:48Speaker 1: I dare you right now just to say I'm ready.
- 23:51Speaker 5: It's my moment.
- 23:52Speaker 1: It's my time.
- 23:53Speaker 3: I'm not just hyped up.
- 23:55Speaker 1: I'm informed and transformed and ready to do something that
- 23:59Speaker 1: nobody ever thought I could do.
- 24:04Speaker 5: How are you going to finish? What are you waiting for?
- 24:06Speaker 5: What are you waiting for? It's going to get hard sometimes.
- 24:13Speaker 5: I'm telling you right now. It's not going to be easy,
- 24:19Speaker 5: but it's worth it. Maybe you're listening to me right
- 24:23Speaker 5: now and you want to lose weight or you're.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Trying to pass the final exam or maybe there's just
- 24:28Speaker 3: this feat that seems as though It is impossible.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Turn your pain into progress.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Turn your pain into progress.
- 24:36Speaker 2: I need you to be uncomfortable with average. I need
- 24:40Speaker 2: you to be allergic to average. I need you to
- 24:44Speaker 2: come to the end of yourself. So many people are
- 24:48Speaker 2: depending on you.
- 24:50Speaker 1: A student is hardworking.
- 24:52Speaker 2: A student is mentally tough.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Have the ability to adapt.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Have a character.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Consistency. Demonstrate courage on the daily.
- 25:01Speaker 5: Stay motivated.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Stay positive.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Earn your respect.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Have a winning attitude.
- 25:08Speaker 4: Breathe.
- 25:09Speaker 8: Compete.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Make no excuses.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Set goals.
- 25:12Speaker 5: Practice great habits.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Stay focused.
- 25:16Speaker 5: Want your future?
- 25:17Speaker 10: You got to outwork everybody on that field. You got
- 25:22Speaker 10: to outwork everybody in the room. You got to learn
- 25:25Speaker 10: how to perform under pressure. You got to leave it
- 25:28Speaker 10: all out on the field. Everybody want the future, but
- 25:36Speaker 10: everybody wants to be average.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Thank you.
