- 0:15SPEAKER_02: It is going so well.
- 0:16SPEAKER_02: But I I understand that you've had a you had a little setback this week, Jeff, didn't you?
- 0:21SPEAKER_03: I did.
- 0:22SPEAKER_03: I had COVID.
- 0:23SPEAKER_03: I don't know if you've heard of COVID.
- 0:25SPEAKER_03: COVID is I've heard of that.
- 0:26SPEAKER_03: I read I read about that somewhere.
- 0:28SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 0:29SPEAKER_03: It's it's you know, I mean it's theoretical, but it's I think it's you know it's not necessarily it's like a scalp condition, isn't it?
- 0:36SPEAKER_02: It it starts on your scalp and then can spread.
- 0:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's yeah, that's what I'd heard.
- 0:41SPEAKER_03: I also heard that it causes uh male pattern baldness, which was the first sign that maybe I had it.
- 0:48SPEAKER_02: Oh, you've had this for a long time then, Jeff.
- 0:50SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 0:50SPEAKER_03: Uh long form COVID I have had yeah from birth.
- 0:55SPEAKER_03: I think you, yeah, I think you caught this when you were about 14 teenaging, didn't you?
- 0:59SPEAKER_03: Something like that.
- 1:00SPEAKER_03: But yes, I had COVID.
- 1:02SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 1:02SPEAKER_03: I still have you could probably hear it in my voice.
- 1:04SPEAKER_03: Um, I still have some phlegm, but overall, that's over in that's over in uh Belgium, right?
- 1:10SPEAKER_02: Isn't that yeah?
- 1:11SPEAKER_02: No, but I but I digress, but I digress.
- 1:13SPEAKER_02: But but but go ahead.
- 1:14SPEAKER_02: But you're feeling better now, though, right?
- 1:15SPEAKER_03: I think it's also, isn't it an Indian bread?
- 1:19SPEAKER_02: I think it is.
- 1:19SPEAKER_02: I think it's phlegm.
- 1:20SPEAKER_02: It's the one with garlic on it that uh you know it's really, really good with the tandoori.
- 1:25SPEAKER_02: Oh gosh, it's so good.
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: Yes, really good.
- 1:28SPEAKER_02: My my version of it is gelatinous, but it's okay, you know, it's really good.
- 1:32SPEAKER_03: Uh my version of it is is green.
- 1:34SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, green.
- 1:35SPEAKER_02: Well, it's important to be green these days because what you know, with this weather we're having, you gotta be green, right?
- 1:41SPEAKER_02: Because it's things are going uh down in the handbasket here, you know what I mean?
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: So absolutely it's important to be, anyways.
- 1:48SPEAKER_03: Uh I am feeling better, and uh, you know, for a second there I thought that that, you know, you remember that you uh reserved the Steve Show.com.
- 1:57SPEAKER_03: And um, you know, I thought for a second there that you might have to pull that out, but it looks like I'm gonna live a little longer.
- 2:03SPEAKER_03: But you knew that, didn't you, Steve?
- 2:05SPEAKER_02: I I did, you know, because uh being I am from the future, and so I knew that.
- 2:09SPEAKER_02: But I I did reserve the Steve show because I am from the future.
- 2:12SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, I don't want to say too much, but you think it's I'm completely over it, or you don't want to say we'll just have to see, Jeff.
- 2:20SPEAKER_02: I I I don't know.
- 2:21SPEAKER_03: I I'll take that as a positive.
- 2:23SPEAKER_02: Yes, oh yes, oh yes, it's all it's all good, it's all good.
- 2:26SPEAKER_02: Okay, good.
- 2:27SPEAKER_02: But I did a little one of us.
- 2:28SPEAKER_02: Good aggressive.
- 2:29SPEAKER_02: But but you know, funny thing, funny thing, you know, the funniest thing about you having COVID.
- 2:34SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's hilarious, right?
- 2:35SPEAKER_02: But there's the the funniest thing about you having COVID is you know, you know who our guest tonight is?
- 2:42SPEAKER_03: No, does he have COVID?
- 2:43SPEAKER_02: No, he he's a doctor, and he wrote a book about how to not get COVID and how to cure COVID.
- 2:49SPEAKER_02: He's got all these great ideas.
- 2:51SPEAKER_03: Wow, and and he's i had read that before, then maybe I would have gotten COVID.
- 2:56SPEAKER_02: Yes, he had pays to read, you know, and and I they have an audio version that I I listened to, you know, some of it, but but but I digress.
- 3:04SPEAKER_02: But we have him in our studio tonight, all the way from Australia.
- 3:08SPEAKER_02: Wow, he came, he flew from Australia for this show.
- 3:12SPEAKER_02: That's how big we are, Jeff.
- 3:13SPEAKER_02: That's how big this podcast has gotten.
- 3:15SPEAKER_02: Did he flew all the time?
- 3:16SPEAKER_03: Did they have COVID in Australia?
- 3:18SPEAKER_03: That I guess I'll ask him.
- 3:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah, well done.
- 3:20SPEAKER_02: But we let's bring him on.
- 3:21SPEAKER_02: Doctor, doctor, welcome.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: Hello, boys.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: G'day.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: How are you all doing?
- 3:25SPEAKER_02: Doing well, doing well, doc.
- 3:27SPEAKER_02: Introduce yourself.
- 3:28SPEAKER_02: I I oh you know, I hit your name here somewhere, but I forgot.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: It's it's fine.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: It's fine.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Uh, the name is uh Ethan Michelson.
- 3:36SPEAKER_02: Ah, very good.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: You can call me Dr.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: A.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: It's fine.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Dr.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: E.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: I like wait, Dr.
- 3:41SPEAKER_03: E or Dr.
- 3:42SPEAKER_03: A?
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: A.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: A.
- 3:44unknown: A.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: Is that A is an A.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: A E o C A is an A.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: This is gonna be important long session if this is what's gonna be solving you.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:55SPEAKER_03: Well, I have COVID.
- 3:56SPEAKER_03: So Dr.
- 3:57SPEAKER_03: A.
- 3:57SPEAKER_03: The the the letters uh they're not as clear to me because I have COVID.
- 4:01SPEAKER_03: So you'll have to forgive me.
- 4:03SPEAKER_03: It's a it's a disability.
- 4:04SPEAKER_02: I don't have COVID, but I I still I'm thinking eh.
- 4:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but anyway, but I digress.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: But so this is so this is Jeff.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: Jay, Jeff Jeff.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, this is Jeff.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, this is Jeff and your staff.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: He look when when uh Steve asked me to be on here, he wanted to make it absolutely clear it was the Steve and Jeff experience that he was absolutely gonna be first.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: So thank you, Steve.
- 4:26SPEAKER_02: Well, you know, I it's just it's the official name, it's just the only reason.
- 4:30SPEAKER_02: It's just you know, it's not an ego thing, but certainly not.
- 4:33SPEAKER_02: No, it's just that's a just me, you know.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: Absolutely, absolutely.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: So uh I hear I hear Jeff got the uh the big uh C19, eh?
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, that's the COVID-19.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: So there are 18 other covids out there.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: Wow, yeah, yeah.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: We we've kind of kept them all in uh in a we got those more contained.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Uh this one was this one was a quick one.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: This one kind of got out now.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: Uh of course, uh, I heard you uh you all both uh talking about it.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Uh Australia did get a little bit of this, and now some folks would say it went away because we were able to lock down a lot quicker, we took it more seriously, we didn't have a leader that kind of wanted to pass this off.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: Uh I also think it's a little bit of fruit and veg, uh to be fair.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: But uh, and again, we got great doctors.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: Uh, went to the uh University of Sydney myself, uh, and got a delightful education uh for a good time there, and uh wrote down my experiences dealing with it.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: And uh I think I've uh kind of cut this off at the past and uh let a lot of folks know uh how to avoid it, and if you do have it, how to deal with it.
- 5:44SPEAKER_02: That's great.
- 5:44SPEAKER_02: Now you you wrote a book about this, yeah.
- 5:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, what what's the name of your book?
- 5:49SPEAKER_02: Go ahead and promote your book because millions of people listen to this podcast and they will buy that book.
- 5:55SPEAKER_02: And all of them have COVID, and they all have COVID, and and most of them can read, so you know you you should be the rest can read it.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Fantastic, fantastic.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Well, uh, well, I do have that audio book that I self-narrate.
- 6:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, uh, so if you know I only listen to part of it because I you know the whole air thing got got to be historical.
- 6:12SPEAKER_02: Okay, but I digress.
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: But but what's the name?
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: What's the name of your book?
- 6:15SPEAKER_01: Oh, uh it's called The Sea and Me.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: Um yeah, I almost called it the old man and the sea, but apparently that one was already taken.
- 6:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they don't like that copyright infringement, not one bit.
- 6:28SPEAKER_02: No, no, no.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: Uh the Hemingway estate is something that I do not want to mess with.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: No, no, you sure don't.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: But yeah, uh again, uh great, great forward uh from folks.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: You're able to get a lot of information out.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: Now, I don't want to give the entire cow you know for free.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: Oh no, no, don't give it all away.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: No, but uh, you know, we have the 19 steps, but I tend to just show everybody the first half, uh and then after you know, and then after that they uh can make their decision of whether or not you know they want to be like, yeah, I'm forward, or just oh no, I don't want any of that, you know.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: Well that's that makes sense.
- 7:06SPEAKER_03: Do you think that I yeah, do you think that I could benefit even though I've already gotten COVID?
- 7:10SPEAKER_03: Like I because I know COVID is repeating itself, or at least people who get it repeat themselves.
- 7:17SPEAKER_03: So is it would I benefit from the list?
- 7:20SPEAKER_03: In other words, would I benefit?
- 7:22SPEAKER_03: Oh, here I am repeating myself.
- 7:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah, say that again.
- 7:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, there you go.
- 7:25SPEAKER_03: Exactly what I meant.
- 7:25SPEAKER_03: See, that's what happens.
- 7:26SPEAKER_03: I think it's a COVID thing.
- 7:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, this is I think it's a COVID thing.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, this is absolute Omicron behavior.
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: Absolutely, it's a thing.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: I knew it.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: And you know, Delta rising as well.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: Uh, I'd have to check with your birth diet later.
- 7:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, well, he was he was born under Pluto, I think.
- 7:42SPEAKER_02: So or it was a goofy, I don't remember.
- 7:44SPEAKER_02: Where's one of those two?
- 7:45SPEAKER_02: But anyway, but but I digress, but would would this now be COVID-20?
- 7:49SPEAKER_02: Or is this still COVID-19 just changing its dressing?
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: Uh COVID has to become of an age, you know, where it's able to kind of get its proper distinctions.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: Uh, right now you're just a variant, you get another variant, and when two variants uh love each other very much, they then become a new virus.
- 8:08SPEAKER_02: And they have then they have a little baby, right?
- 8:10SPEAKER_02: They have a little baby.
- 8:11SPEAKER_02: That's uh you know, my dad told me the same thing, and I just I didn't believe him, but here it is, a doctor.
- 8:16SPEAKER_02: It must be true, right?
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: Well, yeah.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: I mean, I am I I did go four years to Sydney for nothing, yeah.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: Uh but anyway, Sydney's a great guy, too.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: Yes, Sydney is a fantastic guy, tremendous and a great woman's name, too.
- 8:31SPEAKER_03: I love it.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: She's a good shield, yeah.
- 8:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: But but I digress, but but no sense of humor.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: Uh we every time we want him to pose in front of the city science, he just yeah says, Oh no, not again.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: Uh but anyway, uh getting back to the C.
- 8:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah, getting back to the C the C word.
- 8:51SPEAKER_00: The C A.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: Uh, I tend to call it the C word, uh, but then I also usually uh then that got a little weird, uh, because there's another kind of medical thing that's got the big C.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: So then I kind of add on the 19 just to make them feel as at ease as they can.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: C19 makes it legal, yeah.
- 9:08SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 9:08SPEAKER_02: Anything under 18, you know, and C19 I think is legal in every state, but C20 would actually be a controlled substance, I think is how that works, right?
- 9:19SPEAKER_02: That's that's correct, right?
- 9:21SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: I I would not know, uh Steve.
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: Uh you might have a little more knowledge in drugs than I do.
- 9:28SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 9:29SPEAKER_02: Well, but I I I digress.
- 9:31SPEAKER_02: But but but doc, what's your top 10?
- 9:33SPEAKER_02: What are what's Oh, okay.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: We're gonna go we're we're going straight off with the full list.
- 9:38SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 9:38SPEAKER_02: Well, before you before you get into number one, how how long did it take you to develop this?
- 9:43SPEAKER_02: Did you do clinical trials?
- 9:45SPEAKER_02: Did you try it out on patients?
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: It sounds weird when you say try it out on patients.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: I I intended to look more into the uh trying to think uh the word for for storytelling, uh the uh anecdotal.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: There we go.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: Uh the anecdotal way of doing it.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: So I I tend to ask, you know, I asked others of uh what they thought and uh they gave me their answers.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: It's yeah, we can make it that easy.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: Uh so uh getting into the top 10 here.
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: Uh number one, so this is the easy one when you get COVID, infect as many people as possible.
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: The COVID virus only has enough strength to infect one person at a time.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: So if you spread it to multiple people, it dilutes it, you know.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 10:37SPEAKER_03: Now that's I've I've suspected that and I've done my best.
- 10:40SPEAKER_03: I gave it to all, you know, only my family, you know, as many of them as possible.
- 10:45SPEAKER_02: And I also care about them the most, so of course you want to start with them, right?
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: And say that in some ways, you know, it's like when you when you have a group party and you got a cop breaking in, everybody runs in a different direction because they can't erase you all, right?
- 11:01SPEAKER_03: That's right.
- 11:01SPEAKER_03: And and not only that, but as I gave it to other people, I felt better.
- 11:07SPEAKER_03: So I get it, right?
- 11:08SPEAKER_03: You know, it made me feel better.
- 11:10SPEAKER_03: I still had the same cough and stuff, but there was something about giving it to people I care about that just made me feel better.
- 11:17SPEAKER_03: So it makes sense.
- 11:19SPEAKER_02: That's sharing impulse.
- 11:20SPEAKER_02: It must be, yeah, just you know, it could be.
- 11:23SPEAKER_02: I mean, why be alone when you can share?
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: You know, diseases love company.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there you go.
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: Yes, right, it's exactly right.
- 11:30SPEAKER_01: I've heard that.
- 11:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: So, what would number two on your list be, Doctor?
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: Number two, uh, this is this is definitely one that would might work for you.
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: It doesn't necessarily work for me, so I really had to go anecdotal with this one.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: Uh, move to Florida.
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: Uh oh, why would that be what you call because there's two things.
- 11:49SPEAKER_00: Florida doesn't have COVID.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: Uh Florida has freedom, and no one gets sick from too much freedom.
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: Well, there you go.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: So true.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: My goodness.
- 11:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so true.
- 12:01SPEAKER_03: This is that there's wisdom in that.
- 12:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 12:04SPEAKER_02: You're on top of an alligator, you ride it into a Denny's, and yeah, you know, the other week I was I wanted to move to Florida, but I I wound up in in Martha's Vineyard.
- 12:12SPEAKER_02: I don't know how that happened, but uh I just you know, I tried to move there because I heard about this this Florida COVID thing, you know.
- 12:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's because you're Martha's Vineyard.
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: Wow, you're relying on the kindness of strangers, yeah.
- 12:24SPEAKER_02: There you go.
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: That's why here you go.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: Birdie Lady told you you're going somewhere, and then they shipped you into a truck.
- 12:29SPEAKER_03: Now, now, quick we have seats in here.
- 12:32SPEAKER_03: I have I have heard this may not be true, so maybe you could clarify that freedom also exists in Texas and most of the southern part of the country.
- 12:43SPEAKER_03: So is it just Florida that you'd have to move to, or are are you open to you know, is it is it safe to move to some other state?
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: Mississippi is an example.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: Listen there is a specific kind of freedom that is in Florida.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: Oh because Florida wants to be free but doesn't want to leave.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: Ah yes, here you go wants to leave.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: Mississippi wants to leave.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: Florida just is just there.
- 13:11SPEAKER_02: So well, if it leaves, then all those people would need passports to go to Disney World.
- 13:16SPEAKER_02: That would be horrible.
- 13:17SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh, we couldn't have that.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: Not at all.
- 13:21SPEAKER_02: No, no.
- 13:22SPEAKER_02: Well, I'm glad there's one place in the country that you can go and not have to worry about COVID.
- 13:28SPEAKER_02: Just me too.
- 13:29SPEAKER_02: It just doesn't exist.
- 13:31SPEAKER_02: That's beautiful.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: That's and you just you just have to dodge a couple of methodic alligators.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: That's all.
- 13:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah, well, yeah.
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: Well, it's Florida, so of course you get bang on the button.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: Bang on the button, you're there.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: Uh so uh number three.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: Uh this is kind of uh goes in conjunction with number one.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: Use uh try to get the strongest case of COVID you can, okay.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: Since those who get COVID develop what?
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: Immunity.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: Immunity.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so the stronger the case, the better the immunity.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: Again, it's common sense, it's it's yeah, it's prison logic.
- 14:10SPEAKER_03: You walk up to the but you don't you don't hear that from uh not at all, you know, blame blame street media, whatever they're called.
- 14:21SPEAKER_03: You don't hear that.
- 14:22SPEAKER_03: They're like, you know, that whatever that Dr.
- 14:24SPEAKER_03: Fauci is like, don't get COVID.
- 14:26SPEAKER_03: Oh no, I'll I'll get I'll get the Fauci.
- 14:28SPEAKER_02: Fauci's coming.
- 14:29SPEAKER_02: But you know, I actually I actually had heard about that, and that's I think that's why since I heard about it, I think that's why they call that herd immunity, don't they?
- 14:37SPEAKER_02: Because we've all heard about it, yes, yeah.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: You hear you you hear that it's fine, and you're like, this is the head.
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: I'm here, I'm not getting sick.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, all things a lot of time out with chaos.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: That's exactly how that works.
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 14:53SPEAKER_01: Well, we don't care about your private life, really.
- 14:56SPEAKER_02: But that's okay with us.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: What a gentleman does on his own flat is his own business.
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, all right.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: Uh so number four as Salem witch test.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: Okay, if you survive something that seems like COVID, you never had it, and so you shouldn't get vaccinated.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: But if you die and you did have COVID, you should get vaccinated at the funeral hub.
- 15:20SPEAKER_03: Ah, that makes perfect sense.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: And this is you know, this is an example of logic that stands to the test of time.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: Oh, absolutely.
- 15:28SPEAKER_03: If we just went back to the 1700s or whenever that was, that would be where the wisdom we would find would tell us that basically, yeah, if you if you die of it, you had then you had it, and if you don't die of it, you didn't have it.
- 15:43SPEAKER_03: You didn't have it.
- 15:44SPEAKER_03: That's great.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: When men were men and women were witches, yeah.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: It's just that exactly.
- 15:48SPEAKER_02: And it it's kind of the modern equivalent of that dunking thing where you put them underwater, and then if you know, hey, if they drown, well, hey, guess they were a witch, right?
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: You know, yeah, that's a big one goal.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: Uh all right, number five.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: Uh if someone you if someone you know gets COVID, explain to them that it's just like a cold.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: So if they get pretty sick, it was their fault and it was their time to die.
- 16:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I've used that one already.
- 16:15SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 16:15SPEAKER_03: You know, I I use that quite a bit with people uh because I'm kind of recovering pretty easily.
- 16:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so uh I just say it's a cold, and I have a couple relatives that you know unfortunately have gotten very sick, and I just say, you know what?
- 16:30SPEAKER_03: That's your fault.
- 16:31SPEAKER_03: Right, it's not COVID's fault.
- 16:33SPEAKER_03: And poor living, poor choices, you know.
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: This is what you ask for on Sundays.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: This is what you ask for on Sundays, and when you know, if you football games, exact exactly when you eat that that grand slam breakfast at Denny's.
- 16:48SPEAKER_02: That's where that's where that's where it comes in.
- 16:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 16:50SPEAKER_02: I don't I don't get I don't get that reference it's oh they don't have Denny's down in Australia.
- 16:56SPEAKER_02: Wow, yeah well, where do you guys go at four in the morning to annoy people?
- 17:01SPEAKER_02: The ocean.
- 17:02SPEAKER_02: I mean, we we just don't have a Denny's.
- 17:04SPEAKER_02: Oh, that would work.
- 17:05SPEAKER_02: Ocean would be fun down there.
- 17:07SPEAKER_02: You know, now Doc, I know if you just if that was number five, I know you got five more, but we gotta take a quick break here because Jeff, Jeff, you're not gonna believe this.
- 17:16SPEAKER_02: We got a great new sponsor.
- 17:19SPEAKER_02: Wonder and you're gonna you know, you're gonna you'll be so surprised, you're gonna love this.
- 17:23SPEAKER_02: This is a store that uh actually has just opened up here in the in the metro.
- 17:27SPEAKER_02: And so I think they were a little motivated when they heard we had a couple of different dating services that advertised, and they figured, hey, if people that want dating services are listening to this podcast, maybe this business could listen to it as well.
- 17:40SPEAKER_02: And we also had that church commercial, and so they said, Well, dating and church, I think we're on to something here.
- 17:47SPEAKER_02: So, so anyway, so but I digress, but but but let's let's go to commercial.
- 17:51SPEAKER_02: Friend, as a person of faith, are you tired of being told that your natural impulse to touch yourself is a sin?
- 17:58SPEAKER_02: Well, you can turn that sin into a blessing, brother.
- 18:02SPEAKER_02: That is our mission at the Metro's premier faith-based adult novelty and massage emporium, Touched by an Angel.
- 18:10SPEAKER_02: At Touch by an Angel, we give the faithful a heavenly experience.
- 18:14SPEAKER_02: Our trained professionals can find you just the items you need for your home church.
- 18:19SPEAKER_02: And if you want on-site personal attention, you'll find that our staff puts no stops on your pipe organ.
- 18:26SPEAKER_02: And for the more spiritual, we have our full service seraphic package, which we guarantee will leave you screaming, Hosanna! So come on down and revive that passionate feeling at the Metro's Premier Faith-based adult novelty and massage emporium touched by an angel, where you will get off while you are lifted up.
- 18:51SPEAKER_02: Wow, Jeff, you know, I think I gotta stop by that store.
- 18:55SPEAKER_02: That's uh that's an exciting place.
- 18:57SPEAKER_02: I uh I can't wait to see some of the stuff they've got there.
- 18:59SPEAKER_02: I bet uh most of it's under the counter, if you know what I mean.
- 19:02SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I do.
- 19:03SPEAKER_03: And you know what, Steve?
- 19:04SPEAKER_03: I just need to mention something to the audience.
- 19:07SPEAKER_03: Every advertiser that we bring on board totally convinces me to buy their products.
- 19:13SPEAKER_03: Oh, it's I am just like everybody else, except for the ones who didn't get COVID.
- 19:18SPEAKER_03: Because uh, you know, and it's just amazing.
- 19:21SPEAKER_03: The one you did about the church, you know, going to church.
- 19:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I I converted immediately.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: You went, you went to church.
- 19:28SPEAKER_03: It just happens.
- 19:28SPEAKER_03: I went to church and and it works.
- 19:30SPEAKER_03: So the power of advertising, Steve, is can never be underestimated.
- 19:35SPEAKER_02: Well, and and I'm the same way, Jeff, too.
- 19:37SPEAKER_02: You know, when we ran that placebox ad, I I've been taking placebox twice a day ever since then, and it's done absolutely nothing for me.
- 19:44SPEAKER_02: I it's fantastic, it works exactly like they said.
- 19:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's it's it's beautiful, it's a beautiful thing.
- 19:49SPEAKER_02: It's like you know, they said it would do nothing, and it does.
- 19:52SPEAKER_02: It does nothing, it does absolutely nothing.
- 19:54SPEAKER_03: It's about time we had a product that that doesn't do what it says it won't do.
- 19:58SPEAKER_02: Right, yeah, exactly.
- 19:59SPEAKER_03: We're sick of those other ones, exactly.
- 20:01SPEAKER_01: But but we digress, doctor.
- 20:03SPEAKER_01: I give I give prescriptions of CBX all the time.
- 20:06SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, I bet.
- 20:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's it's it's good stuff, it tastes good too.
- 20:10SPEAKER_01: It's got wild, kind of a wild cherry taste, it's a little bit and and muscle memory.
- 20:15SPEAKER_02: So yeah, you you want to keep them.
- 20:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah, oh absolutely.
- 20:19SPEAKER_02: So so but doc, but doc we digress.
- 20:21SPEAKER_01: Doctor, uh, what's uh what's number six?
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: It's uh let's see here.
- 20:25SPEAKER_01: Ah had to find the list again.
- 20:27SPEAKER_01: Sorry, yeah.
- 20:29SPEAKER_01: Uh that commercial was pretty exciting.
- 20:31SPEAKER_01: I it was an amazing I got a little confused there too.
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: It was pretty good.
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: When contracting something that could be COVID, go online and ask the advice of multiple sources, some of which aren't even doctors.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: Remember, Fauci was wrong about the effectiveness of the vaccine.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: So take your advice from people who know nothing about medicine.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: Well, I think if we're the ones that know, yeah.
- 20:58SPEAKER_02: If we've learned anything in this whole experience, it's that people that know nothing have the best ideas.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: I mean, I went to med I went to med school half in a can.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: So yeah, you know, I'm surprised we didn't meet.
- 21:11SPEAKER_02: Oh, wait, you were in Australia.
- 21:12SPEAKER_02: That's why I went to I went to school half in the can myself.
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: So I'm surprised we didn't meet.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: Uh per that's great advice, yeah.
- 21:20SPEAKER_02: Doc.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: I mean, really, uh you get the degree more for patience than actual knowledge.
- 21:26SPEAKER_00: So sit around, be fine.
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: Uh so again, uh, speaking of uh half in the can, uh drinking bleach to disinfect your body of COVID doesn't work.
- 21:38SPEAKER_03: Now that's I'm shocked about.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: I thought it did.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: Do not drink bleach.
- 21:43SPEAKER_02: I have heard so many people, so many lot of people have been saying that works.
- 21:47SPEAKER_02: I don't know where they heard that from.
- 21:49SPEAKER_02: I've heard a lot of people say that that works.
- 21:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so so what you actually drink is uh Formula 409.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: Uh it's always more effective.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Flavor tastes like lemonade.
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: I love lemonade.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: I love the taste of lemonade.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: I will offer I will offer simple green as an alternative.
- 22:10unknown: Yeah.
- 22:13SPEAKER_03: Writing that down.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: It's it's lemon lime.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: It's it's kind of you get to that, it's like you have the lemon, but you don't want that, so you get the the simple green, which is more uh mint.
- 22:24SPEAKER_03: Steve, I Steve, I think you would agree with me that if Formula 409 wants to advertise with us, we are endorsing that product.
- 22:31SPEAKER_02: Oh, I I totally endorse it.
- 22:33SPEAKER_02: In fact, in fact, Jeff, you know, you remember my Uncle Josh, right?
- 22:36SPEAKER_02: Uncle Josh, that's crazy.
- 22:38SPEAKER_02: Uncle Josh used to drink 409 as a laxative, and it worked, it did wonders for him.
- 22:43SPEAKER_02: He lived to be 109, you know, just and drank it right up the day you died.
- 22:48SPEAKER_02: In fact, well, in fact, he drank too much of it one day, and that that's actually why he died at 109.
- 22:53SPEAKER_02: But but but I digress, but he lived to 109, drinking that every day.
- 22:57SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 22:58SPEAKER_03: I feel like I just had some because I'm gonna have to go to the bathroom pretty soon here.
- 23:02SPEAKER_02: But uh, I think that's it's the influence of the podcast.
- 23:05SPEAKER_02: See the plumbing just produces healthy reactions in the body, and it's trying to get rid of that covet.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's better out than in, it's it's stored in somewhere.
- 23:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so number eight, uh, remember that the COVID doesn't kill people, the vaccines didn't oh yeah, it's like it's like when you jump off a building, the fall doesn't kill you, the landing is what's that sudden stop at the end.
- 23:30SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 23:30SPEAKER_02: If you can just not land, then you're fine.
- 23:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, now I I have to admit, doc, I've heard this before, so that's uh that may not be as unique to you, but it's uh again, more common sense, right?
- 23:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah, vaccines are the virus, yeah.
- 23:46SPEAKER_03: And putting that in your body is just a bad idea, right?
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: It's it's again when when two strains meet each other, we're just putting in that little baby in the middle.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: Uh but you know, and I will be honest, uh, I kind of did crib this one from a other organization, so uh it's on me, it's more of an association, really.
- 24:05SPEAKER_00: Uh, so number nine.
- 24:08SPEAKER_00: Above all, you should investigate thoroughly anything you put into your body, except of course that tattoo needle that that stranger put in your back.
- 24:16SPEAKER_00: Again, just common sense.
- 24:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, that makes sense.
- 24:19SPEAKER_02: That makes sense.
- 24:20SPEAKER_02: I know that I know that most of the people I know really thoroughly investigate anything that they're going to insert.
- 24:25SPEAKER_02: And I kind of like our sponsor as was encouraging people to be very in inspective of their insertions or insertion of their inspections.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: Inspect twice, insert once.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 24:37SPEAKER_03: That's what my good advice no idea what he just said, but I I love listening to you talk.
- 24:43SPEAKER_03: Oh, that's delightful.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: Uh so anyway, uh the last thing if you do get COVID, there is a delightful person in town, and again, this one specifically, uh, a Dr.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: Rhino Stein.
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: Okay, Dr.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: Rhine calls him.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you get plastic surgery on your nose job, okay?
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: It's like it's like it's a tire, okay?
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: It'll replace the overused, overblown nose, and he'll put in a new one.
- 25:09SPEAKER_03: He he he actually gave me a new nose, which I now have used up.
- 25:13SPEAKER_03: But you know what?
- 25:14SPEAKER_03: I think doctor warrantied it for was it six months, and I think I'm still under warranty.
- 25:22SPEAKER_03: I'd have to check that, but I may be able, I mean Jennifer Aniston's nose was great, but I think I've used it up.
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: So I think that's to be fair.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: Jennifer Anison's nose is really kind of on the smaller side.
- 25:35SPEAKER_02: You might want to you might want to do like a Matthew Perry's nose, although that's probably pretty heavily used, I would think.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: You know, that's I mean, you can always go to old school and go Jimmy Duranty.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, ooh, yeah.
- 25:46SPEAKER_00: That's a lot of miles on that one.
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be hard to rub that one down.
- 25:49SPEAKER_02: And if that goes for the same price as Jennifer's nose, you're getting a deal because you're getting a lot more material for the same dollars.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'm sure the good doctor could hook you up.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's not like he's got uh full schedule himself.
- 26:02SPEAKER_02: Oh well, I'm sorry to hear that.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: Old Doc uh Doc has been an advertiser on our show too, and I I thought he was doing quite well, but well, I mean, yeah, he's a little behind on his dues, uh and he's claiming it's due to bad business.
- 26:14SPEAKER_00: So again, you know, all the medical people in the world are combined.
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: We kind of just all have meetings.
- 26:19SPEAKER_00: It's it's again if I've not pushed anything further on this outside of buying my book to get the remaining the remaining 10 steps.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: Uh just go ahead and uh sit in a room long enough and tell people you're a doctor, and they'll just give you the lab coat and paperwork.
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 26:38SPEAKER_03: Wow, you know now doc uh those are our wonderful that's wonderful advice.
- 26:44SPEAKER_03: Um, I did reach out to somebody at uh at work and they gave me an additional piece of advice.
- 26:51SPEAKER_03: I can I run it by you and see what you think because you know I'm I'm not a doctor, I'm just a COVID patient.
- 26:56SPEAKER_02: Well, but but you have but you have a lab coat though.
- 26:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you could be a doctor.
- 27:00SPEAKER_02: Yes, with I saw your lab coat.
- 27:02SPEAKER_02: You're a quarter of the way there from from back when you were cooking, but but I digress.
- 27:07SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: But you can't we'll we'll throw it on you.
- 27:10SPEAKER_00: Let's see how it sits in the show.
- 27:11SPEAKER_03: Okay, so this person, I'm not gonna say uh Mark's name, but Mark told me that uh key when you get COVID is to never admit that you have it.
- 27:24SPEAKER_03: And when you start displaying symptoms, say you have allergies and that you've always had a persistent cough.
- 27:32SPEAKER_03: The idea here is don't scare anybody because you know it's not a big deal anyway.
- 27:38SPEAKER_03: And if you go off and you tell people you got COVID, then they'll start thinking poorly about you, they'll be scared.
- 27:45SPEAKER_03: And I don't know, do you feel like there's some value to that, Doc?
- 27:48SPEAKER_00: I mean, there's a little bit of it.
- 27:50SPEAKER_00: You can kind of sit there and shake for a bit before they start kind of looking at you odd, but uh again, it's that thing of it's all a mental game.
- 28:00SPEAKER_00: Half of health is really how you feel, it's it's 90% of it, so it's what you think.
- 28:06SPEAKER_00: And you're going, well, I certainly don't have COVID, it's just a little bit of allergies, a little bit of a sniffle.
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: I'm just gonna go to the store now and I'm gonna buy a bunch of allergy medication, and there's nothing wrong with that.
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: And me personally, I'm the guy who sort of the cooking the chicken in Nyquil trend.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: So if you put enough medicine in food, yeah, exactly.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: And I slept like a baby all exactly beautiful ideas, and see that's why you went full NyQuil on it, and so see what I do to kind of counteract that is I go half Nyquil, half Dayquil.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: So you get enough of the stimulants at the same time, as well as all the narcotics.
- 28:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's thinking smart and not hard.
- 28:46SPEAKER_02: Wow, so that's being like narked up but fully awake.
- 28:50SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 28:51SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 28:52SPEAKER_02: Ooh, you know, you know, you know, you know, Jeff, funny you you should talk about the allergies there because I, you know, I've I've had persistent allergies for a while.
- 29:01SPEAKER_02: They started about oh, I don't know, March of two years ago, somewhere in there.
- 29:06SPEAKER_02: I've really had persistent allergies quite a bit since then.
- 29:09SPEAKER_03: So many people have.
- 29:11SPEAKER_02: And I, you know, it's just I'm lucky I knock wood, knock the knock the window there that I'm not supposed to touch that glass, but knock that window that I didn't have COVID, but I have had this really bad allergy and just been coughing and blowing my nose constantly for about you know two and a half years now.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: Steve, uh not a doc uh well, your doctor.
- 29:35SPEAKER_00: Is it two years?
- 29:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but well, two and a half, yeah.
- 29:39SPEAKER_00: And uh how long have you been around, Jeff?
- 29:42SPEAKER_02: Uh about uh oh gosh.
- 29:44SPEAKER_02: Well, off and on, originally 50 years or so, but uh recently about uh about two and a half years, yeah.
- 29:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Jeff, uh how long have you been uh with Steve?
- 29:55SPEAKER_03: You know, since I got this COVID thing, my memory isn't really that good.
- 29:59SPEAKER_03: So could you uh could you repeat the question?
- 30:02SPEAKER_00: Uh how long have uh you know what?
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: Let me just rephrase it this way.
- 30:07SPEAKER_03: Uh six inches.
- 30:08SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 30:08SPEAKER_03: Oh, sorry.
- 30:09SPEAKER_03: Uh different question.
- 30:11SPEAKER_01: Different questions.
- 30:14SPEAKER_01: Well done.
- 30:14SPEAKER_01: Well done.
- 30:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 30:16SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 30:17SPEAKER_03: Obviously, COVID hasn't affected me.
- 30:19SPEAKER_02: And that's how you know it is Age might have worn that down a little.
- 30:22SPEAKER_02: What do you think?
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 30:25SPEAKER_00: Um, anyway, uh Jeff, were you around, Steve, when you got COVID?
- 30:32SPEAKER_03: Well, I don't know what how you define around.
- 30:36SPEAKER_00: Was he able to sneeze on you?
- 30:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, among other things.
- 30:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you two might need to have a conversation over a nice uh frothy bottle of 409.
- 30:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, wow.
- 30:49SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 30:50SPEAKER_02: Well, now with the 409, can does that mix well with like vodka or rum or something?
- 30:55SPEAKER_02: You want to clear it.
- 30:58SPEAKER_02: Everything mixes well.
- 30:59SPEAKER_02: I always found that to be true, too.
- 31:00SPEAKER_02: There's really not a bad mix for vodka.
- 31:02SPEAKER_00: I mean, you could also can just you know cut out the middle man and just use rubbing alcohol.
- 31:06SPEAKER_00: That's what I do.
- 31:07SPEAKER_00: Oh, wow.
- 31:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I do that.
- 31:09SPEAKER_02: You know, it's I I cut it a little bit with vodka though, just because I the flavor of vodka is a little better than the rubbing alcohol.
- 31:15SPEAKER_02: So that, you know, but that but that sounds that makes sense, Jeff.
- 31:19SPEAKER_02: We should pour a glass and just have a toast here, you know.
- 31:23SPEAKER_02: Gotta go get some first, but but when we get some share, we can share a glass.
- 31:27SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, I think we should share.
- 31:29SPEAKER_03: I don't have COVID and I have allergies.
- 31:32SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 31:32SPEAKER_02: I have fall allergies.
- 31:34SPEAKER_02: Now I've had fall allergies like every season for two and a half years, but but it's not COVID.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, no, no.
- 31:40SPEAKER_00: No.
- 31:41SPEAKER_00: Uh and uh uh gentlemen, uh I I think I uh need to go to the bathroom now.
