- 0:00Speaker 1: Here's more. Mark Simone on seven to ten, wor hey
- 0:08Speaker 1: it's our number three. Oh good, Yeah, it's a three
- 0:11Speaker 1: hour show. Now this today. A little later, Scott Bessett
- 0:16Speaker 1: will announce steps being taken against Iran to once and
- 0:20Speaker 1: for all put them out of business. The economy in
- 0:23Speaker 1: a shambles over there. We have completely shut down all
- 0:27Speaker 1: revenue coming into Iran and final step will be well,
- 0:34Speaker 1: the next step. It might not be the final step,
- 0:36Speaker 1: but hopefully this will be all that's necessary. Bessett will
- 0:41Speaker 1: announce in toughest economic sanctions ever on a country. He's
- 0:45Speaker 1: calling it the Economic Offensive, and he'll announce that later today.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Things are looking really bad in Tehran. Even the New
- 0:54Speaker 1: York Post, which is often very critical of Donald Trump,
- 0:57Speaker 1: said clearly he's winning this. They are completely crippled economically.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I know you watch TV and there's the Supreme Commander
- 1:05Speaker 1: Iranian this and that, and he's got metals and epaulets
- 1:08Speaker 1: and a hat. But he's working out of a cave
- 1:12Speaker 1: and they're completely broke, completely cut off. Their economies in
- 1:16Speaker 1: total collapse. There is absolutely no oil flowing for them.
- 1:20Speaker 1: We're using the straight of horn moose. We've got oil
- 1:23Speaker 1: flowing on the southern corridor, but their northern corridor ran
- 1:27Speaker 1: unable to use it at all. Its largest trading partner,
- 1:30Speaker 1: the UAE, has cut them off from all transactions. Dubai,
- 1:36Speaker 1: which was a key to helping Tehran evade sanctions through
- 1:39Speaker 1: the years, has now cut them off. Iranian inflations at
- 1:44Speaker 1: ninety percent. So it's pretty bad. It's looking pretty grim.
- 1:49Speaker 1: So well, hear what these sanctions are a little later today,
- 1:52Speaker 1: and then some think Iran can't last another couple of
- 1:55Speaker 1: weeks with this economic damage. Prince Harry will get the
- 2:02Speaker 1: Prince Harry and the Megan Markele coming up. They're leaving,
- 2:05Speaker 1: thank god. Hear the story on the news of pot
- 2:09Speaker 1: seventeen percent smoking weed, smoking pot seventeen percent of America. Now,
- 2:15Speaker 1: from what I hear, Mom, Donnie has gone over the
- 2:20Speaker 1: top with the pot use. Apparently this is like his
- 2:23Speaker 1: main activity. Now, remember that happened with Deblasio, where it
- 2:28Speaker 1: didn't seem much at the Blasio and at night, you ever,
- 2:30Speaker 1: some you know, normally when you're the mayor of New York,
- 2:33Speaker 1: when you're Giuliani, when you're at Kach, when you're Bloomberg.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Every night you're out as mayor. You're running around to
- 2:39Speaker 1: every event. You're at the charity galla to shake hands,
- 2:43Speaker 1: You're at this other event, you're at a ribbon. You're
- 2:46Speaker 1: just running around doing events. Every night, you're at Yankee Stadium.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You're here, you're there. You're just a big part of
- 2:53Speaker 1: New York and every night there's a bunch of very
- 2:56Speaker 1: important events, and you're there. Nobody, nobody ever saw had
- 3:01Speaker 1: the Blaseo at anything. Nothing ever. Ever, he was behind
- 3:05Speaker 1: the walls the Gracie Mansion. Remember he had the walls
- 3:07Speaker 1: made higher. You know, the eight foot wall became a
- 3:10Speaker 1: sixteen foot wall because you didn't want you to see
- 3:13Speaker 1: what was going on in there. But you could see
- 3:15Speaker 1: the smoke, and you could you could smell that pot
- 3:21Speaker 1: in the air coming there. And then a lot of
- 3:24Speaker 1: people are on his police detail started to complain that
- 3:27Speaker 1: when they left him, their clothes smelled like pot. So
- 3:30Speaker 1: we're getting the same reports now about Mom Donnie. Apparently
- 3:34Speaker 1: that's going on. But that's good. Let the guy gets
- 3:36Speaker 1: nothing done now. Let him just get stoned into absolutely nothing.
- 3:41Speaker 1: The BQE the part that the city owns or runs,
- 3:46Speaker 1: the bque The Brooklyn Queen's expressly looks like it's in
- 3:49Speaker 1: total disrepair. They showed video where you could see it's
- 3:52Speaker 1: coming apart, it's cracking the concrete. The whole gotta be fixed.
- 3:56Speaker 1: So Mom Donnie announced it'll be fixed. He's good. They're
- 3:59Speaker 1: gonna fix it. He's had a plan to fix it.
- 4:02Speaker 1: They're going to start in twenty thirty. That's four years
- 4:06Speaker 1: for now. They're going to start in four years. He
- 4:10Speaker 1: predicts the construction will take ten years, so that's twenty forty. Now. Again,
- 4:17Speaker 1: this is Mom Donnie. The guy's just a kid. He's
- 4:21Speaker 1: thirty two years old. He's never had a job in
- 4:24Speaker 1: his life, never had a job, never worked. So they'll
- 4:30Speaker 1: start in twenty thirty. You know, it's like, you know,
- 4:34Speaker 1: if the road at Trump's golf course in Bedminster had problems,
- 4:38Speaker 1: if it was all cracked, that would be fixed by
- 4:41Speaker 1: five o'clock today, by five o'clock they'd have it all fixed.
- 4:44Speaker 1: But this is construction on This will start in twenty thirty.
- 4:47Speaker 1: In four years, they'll start. You see the Grand Prix
- 4:51Speaker 1: yesterday in Washington, DC. The President was there. It was
- 4:58Speaker 1: it's not Formula one. This is actually Indy Car. You
- 5:00Speaker 1: got NASCAR, which is like stock cars, and then real
- 5:04Speaker 1: racing cars. It's like Indy Car, which is like in
- 5:07Speaker 1: the middle, like the Indianapolis five hundred, and then you
- 5:11Speaker 1: got the Formula one that's like the highest and the
- 5:14Speaker 1: fancy race cars. But this was Indy Car. It was
- 5:19Speaker 1: all around the streets of Washington, d C. President Trump
- 5:24Speaker 1: waved the green flag. Apparently it drove the left nuts,
- 5:30Speaker 1: the left wing cooks, the climate change people, they went
- 5:33Speaker 1: nuts because remember these are indie racing cars. They burned
- 5:38Speaker 1: more fuel in two seconds than most cars burn in
- 5:40Speaker 1: a year. I mean they go through twenty tanks of
- 5:43Speaker 1: gas in a race. And President Trump's waving a green flag.
- 5:46Speaker 1: It drove them nuts. This guy was he the winner?
- 5:49Speaker 1: A Kirkwood.
- 5:50Speaker 2: That will only be one winner of the Freedom to fifty?
- 5:53Speaker 1: And how fits a.
- 5:55Speaker 2: That's Kyle as a sectary of transportation waves a check
- 6:00Speaker 2: at flag Kyle kirk With wins an American on the
- 6:05Speaker 2: top step of the podium at the Freedom to fifty.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Yes, see that gets liberals very upset. The real left wing,
- 6:13Speaker 1: the climate change. They like the way the electric car sounds.
- 6:16Speaker 1: It sounds like this. That's the that makes they don't like.
- 6:22Speaker 2: The man of the freedom to fifty.
- 6:28Speaker 1: That sound that is Kyle. That sound upsets them. So
- 6:34Speaker 1: is this President Trump? I mean this is this is Kirkwood,
- 6:37Speaker 1: This is Kirkwood himself.
- 6:38Speaker 3: I mean it hasn't really settled in yet. Right, Like
- 6:41Speaker 3: I won the race, I get out of the car,
- 6:43Speaker 3: I see President Trump sitting there cheering me on as
- 6:47Speaker 3: a proud American. That's a that's a that's a pretty
- 6:50Speaker 3: big deal to have the president cheering you on. Nothing
- 6:53Speaker 3: else like it, right.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Yeah, it's pretty amazing. But these climate change lefties. You
- 6:58Speaker 1: know the other thing in California, they're trying to ban tires. Now,
- 7:03Speaker 1: that's the way. They don't want anybody driving a car anymore.
- 7:06Speaker 1: So they they're trying to pass some crazy law that'll
- 7:09Speaker 1: outlaw like seventy five percent of the tires sold, which
- 7:13Speaker 1: means you won't be able to get tires for your car.
- 7:15Speaker 1: So when they see a Formula one or when they
- 7:18Speaker 1: see IndyCar, drive them crazy. You know, these guys in
- 7:23Speaker 1: one race, they'll use like twenty sets of tires. You know,
- 7:26Speaker 1: they pull into the pit stop every twenty minutes, have
- 7:29Speaker 1: the tires changed. And those are big, enormous tires, and
- 7:32Speaker 1: they just wear them down. To nothing, so they have
- 7:34Speaker 1: to change the tires and the old tires are thrown out.
- 7:37Speaker 1: So you never see this at you know, when you're
- 7:39Speaker 1: watching IndyCar and NASCAR. But at the end of the day,
- 7:43Speaker 1: massive trucks have to come and pick up three hundred
- 7:46Speaker 1: used tires or more than that, seven hundred used tires
- 7:49Speaker 1: and throw them out. This drives the left crazy, not
- 7:52Speaker 1: to mention all that gas they keep keep burning. But
- 7:56Speaker 1: it was beautiful to watch, very picturesque Long Island. You
- 8:00Speaker 1: good news. You got Bruce Blakeman as your county executive
- 8:03Speaker 1: in Nassau County, and there was a terrible damage from
- 8:06Speaker 1: that storm, the tornado that hit the Atlantic Beach Club there.
- 8:11Speaker 1: You know, he lives there, He lives right near there,
- 8:13Speaker 1: so he's on top of it. They're getting that fixed
- 8:15Speaker 1: luckily nobody hurt and taking care of that, putting everything
- 8:20Speaker 1: back together. That's good news. Hey. The other mom Donnie
- 8:24Speaker 1: crazy thing is this crazy mom Donnie is teaming up
- 8:29Speaker 1: with the DSA, these Democratic Socialists and the Teamsters and
- 8:34Speaker 1: they're trying to keep Amazon out of New York. You know,
- 8:37Speaker 1: Amazon wanted to build some facilities here. Well, why would
- 8:41Speaker 1: you do that? Well, because they use, They hire local
- 8:44Speaker 1: delivery firms. They don't bring in their own guys. So
- 8:49Speaker 1: Amazon uses about forty small businesses to do the delivery
- 8:54Speaker 1: on the ground. Well, what is wrong with this? This
- 8:56Speaker 1: sounds great. They come in, they hire forty local delivery companies,
- 9:01Speaker 1: they build big warehouses here. The warehouse is not like
- 9:05Speaker 1: a data center. Warehouses quiet nice. So why would you
- 9:09Speaker 1: be against this? You know this Amazon stuff is like
- 9:13Speaker 1: ten thousand jobs in New York. Well it's Mamdani, the DSA,
- 9:17Speaker 1: Democratic Socialists and the Teamsters. Well, apparently the problem is
- 9:20Speaker 1: these are small businesses, these delivery companies, and they're not union.
- 9:25Speaker 1: So just because they're not union, but these small businesses,
- 9:29Speaker 1: delivery businesses, they seem fine with it. But because of that,
- 9:33Speaker 1: they're going to give Amazon a hard time and basically
- 9:36Speaker 1: chase them out of the city. So Amazon is already
- 9:40Speaker 1: talking about moving all operations to New Jersey. That would
- 9:44Speaker 1: cost New York about ten thousand jobs. And by the way,
- 9:49Speaker 1: those jobs impact minorities the most. You'd think that's something
- 9:54Speaker 1: that I'm Donnie and the DSA would care about, but
- 9:56Speaker 1: they're being led around by these unions. In fact, they're
- 10:00Speaker 1: talking about they're trying to get the city council to
- 10:02Speaker 1: pass a law that Amazon can't use subcontractors in the
- 10:07Speaker 1: city for delivery. Again. That would cause them to move
- 10:10Speaker 1: to New Jersey. You know the great thing if you're
- 10:12Speaker 1: in New York City, if you're in the middle of Manhattan,
- 10:14Speaker 1: you order some on Amazon, you get it the next day.
- 10:17Speaker 1: If you're in the suburbs, you know, you're lucky. If
- 10:18Speaker 1: you know it might be two days, three days from
- 10:21Speaker 1: city always next day. That could change if Mom Donnie
- 10:25Speaker 1: gets away with this crap. You know, the city council.
- 10:28Speaker 1: You got Julie men in the City council speaker. She's
- 10:30Speaker 1: a pretty common sense, middle of the road type, but
- 10:34Speaker 1: you got crazies on the city council, so she's got
- 10:37Speaker 1: to stop this. They're proposing all kinds of stupid things.
- 10:40Speaker 1: They're backing dozens of ridiculous bills. There's one that would
- 10:46Speaker 1: abolish the NYPD gang database, which you really need. You know,
- 10:51Speaker 1: if they arrest somebody, they got a database of the gangs.
- 10:54Speaker 1: They can check right away see if this is a
- 10:56Speaker 1: gang member. City council proposing to get rid of that
- 11:00Speaker 1: so they can't fight the gangs and the gang members
- 11:03Speaker 1: as much. There's also one bill, a set of thirty
- 11:06Speaker 1: dollars minimum wage that would put a lot of businesses
- 11:10Speaker 1: out of business. You can't pay thirty dollars minimum wage.
- 11:13Speaker 1: There's another one would give pet owners sick leave if
- 11:17Speaker 1: their dogs are ill. I don't know. I mean, that
- 11:23Speaker 1: sounds pretty stupid. But if you got a dog and
- 11:25Speaker 1: you'll love your dog, and your dog is sick and
- 11:28Speaker 1: you want to be home with it, but it's still
- 11:30Speaker 1: it's it's ridiculous. So hopefully got to stop all these
- 11:36Speaker 1: crazy bills. Hey, Jared Kushner the President's chief negotiator. I
- 11:42Speaker 1: don't know what this Jared Kushner does. He look like
- 11:44Speaker 1: a chief negotiator. Do you ever hear him talk? I mean,
- 11:51Speaker 1: I can't picture him talking to terrorist Iranians, but listen
- 11:56Speaker 1: to President knows more about that stuff than I do.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Negotiating got Jared doing it. He met with Hakim Jeffries
- 12:04Speaker 1: late last week. Jared Kushner met with Hakim Jeffries to negotiate.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I guess they're thinking, what happens if the Democrats win,
- 12:13Speaker 1: Jeffries will become the Speaker of the House. That's a
- 12:16Speaker 1: frightening thought. A mutual friend that both of them arranged
- 12:21Speaker 1: a private space in New York City. That means they
- 12:24Speaker 1: did it in somebody's apartment. They got together, the two
- 12:28Speaker 1: of them, and talked. They were trying to find common ground,
- 12:32Speaker 1: and they discussed certain things that the Trump Republicans and
- 12:37Speaker 1: the Hakim Jeffrey left wing could agree on. One was housing,
- 12:42Speaker 1: one was immigration and high cost of the living. Now
- 12:45Speaker 1: why would they do this, Well, it could be that
- 12:51Speaker 1: they're just being cautious. You know, Trump realizing he could
- 12:54Speaker 1: lose the midterms. It doesn't look bad for him in
- 12:56Speaker 1: the polling right now, but who knows what polling they got.
- 13:00Speaker 1: So in case the Democrats take office, they want to
- 13:05Speaker 1: get along better with Jefferies because he would be in
- 13:07Speaker 1: you know, it could be impeachment every week. Every week
- 13:12Speaker 1: they'd be trying to impeach the president over something or
- 13:13Speaker 1: cut him off from all funding. So that's why they're
- 13:17Speaker 1: reaching out to Hakeem Jeffries. Makes sense for the Trump people,
- 13:21Speaker 1: But Jeffery's getting a lot of flack from the crazy left.
- 13:24Speaker 1: They're all upset now. They're mad at Hakim Jeffries for
- 13:29Speaker 1: taking the meeting. He will not say that he met
- 13:31Speaker 1: with him, but it is confirmed by multiple sources. Also
- 13:35Speaker 1: says the two men have stayed in touch through the years.
- 13:39Speaker 1: He got to remember, Jared Kushner was in the Trump
- 13:42Speaker 1: White House in the first term, way back when he
- 13:46Speaker 1: was in the first term, and Jeffries was in Congress then.
- 13:49Speaker 1: So apparently they've had a relationship for a long time.
- 13:53Speaker 1: This is not sounding good for Jeffries. You know, the
- 13:55Speaker 1: crazy left hates him. Hey, So this couple is in
- 14:01Speaker 1: the Met, the Metropolitan Museum, the Great Museum on Fifth
- 14:04Speaker 1: Avenue up in the eighties, the Met and the guy
- 14:08Speaker 1: is going to propose to his girlfriend and in the
- 14:13Speaker 1: museum there's a certain spot. Now the reason they were
- 14:15Speaker 1: doing this apparently that's where they met. They met in
- 14:18Speaker 1: the Metropolitan Museum. It's quite a wonderful touching story, isn't it.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Not really, who's this guy going around picking up women
- 14:26Speaker 1: in the Met But that's how they met. So they're
- 14:29Speaker 1: getting engaged, very touching. They go over to the spot
- 14:35Speaker 1: and he gets down on one knee to propose, and
- 14:40Speaker 1: before he consaying, the security guard comes over yelling at him,
- 14:43Speaker 1: get up. You can't be on your knees. There's a
- 14:45Speaker 1: role against that. You're not allowed to do that stand
- 14:47Speaker 1: up and he's like screaming at the guy. Well, when
- 14:50Speaker 1: they were getting engaged where he was going to propose,
- 14:53Speaker 1: he had his friend with the camera doing video, so
- 14:56Speaker 1: they caught the security guard on video doing that. It's
- 14:59Speaker 1: gone viral now people have checked. The museum won't say much,
- 15:04Speaker 1: they will not comment, but people are saying there's no
- 15:09Speaker 1: rule that you can't get down on your knee and
- 15:11Speaker 1: that the guard was being overzealous. The self appointed Romance
- 15:15Speaker 1: police cited a non existent rule that says here about
- 15:20Speaker 1: engagements being forbidden at this venerable house of art. He
- 15:24Speaker 1: started off by saying proposals aren't allowed. Well, of course
- 15:27Speaker 1: they are, and he ordered the person to stop filming. Well,
- 15:31Speaker 1: of course you're allowed to film there. So but I'm
- 15:35Speaker 1: just one thing because every day you go on Instagram,
- 15:39Speaker 1: every day you see somebody proposing. They're in Central Park
- 15:42Speaker 1: at the bridge, they're on top of the Empire State Building.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Stop please with the engagement videos. Just stop take a picture.
- 15:50Speaker 1: We don't need the whole video. It's always in the
- 15:52Speaker 1: middle of the park. It's like top of the Empire
- 15:56Speaker 1: State Building, it's up on some rooftup. I don't know,
- 16:00Speaker 1: I guess it's okay. You know it's very touching. Let's
- 16:05Speaker 1: come back fifteen years later, see if this couple is
- 16:07Speaker 1: still married. Let's come back five years later, see if
- 16:10Speaker 1: they're still smiling so much. Anyway, we'll take some calls next.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one Hey, we always like to
- 16:21Speaker 1: get some new calls. If you had never called before,
- 16:23Speaker 1: we're looking for new callers. Eight hundred three two one
- 16:27Speaker 1: zero seven ten. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 16:31Speaker 1: ten
