- 1:29Speaker 2: some of the news headlines. We've got the birthdays, the
- 1:31Speaker 2: porn of birthdays coming up today, July ninth. Today is
- 1:34Speaker 2: National don't put all your eggs in one omelet Day. Hey,
- 1:39Speaker 2: come on, guys, I love it. I've been on an
- 1:42Speaker 2: omelet kick lately. Really, if we go out somewhere and
- 1:44Speaker 2: we're doing it, whether it's like a breakfast going out
- 1:47Speaker 2: or brinner, like if the place that has twenty you know,
- 1:50Speaker 2: twenty four hour breakfast, Yeah, I've been. I've been going
- 1:52Speaker 2: with omelets are good to go, and my go to
- 1:54Speaker 2: has been the Greek. So you get like, yeah, you
- 1:56Speaker 2: get like feta Cheesepin would have never guests, I would
- 2:01Speaker 2: have thought you hated it. No, in fact, I know
- 2:04Speaker 2: all of this, but I do order extra feta. I
- 2:07Speaker 2: do love me some feta. It's one thing that I
- 2:10Speaker 2: don't like. I do feta. But you like blue cheese
- 2:14Speaker 2: in small doses. Blue cheese can't do National Sugar Cookie Day,
- 2:20Speaker 2: the world's most boring so drying sugar cookies. How about
- 2:27Speaker 2: this for a flex today in history? It was today
- 2:30Speaker 2: in seventeen ninety two, right here, James Swan personally paid
- 2:39Speaker 2: off the entire US national debt.
- 2:41Speaker 4: That was so nice about He was a nice guy.
- 2:44Speaker 2: But keep in mind, so you go, okay, well it
- 2:47Speaker 2: was only a little over two million bucks, but that
- 2:50Speaker 2: is nice. This is seventeen ninety two money. Two million
- 2:53Speaker 2: bucks is a lot of money. Today. That was awesome.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Now it seems kind of low, saying two million bucks
- 3:00Speaker 2: in today's dollars would be twenty eight million. Yeah, a
- 3:03Speaker 2: lot of money for that year. Yeah, you'd like a
- 3:06Speaker 2: billion a billion. You think it'd be like a regular
- 3:08Speaker 2: Elon musk right seven. By the way. Today, in twenty seventeen,
- 3:12Speaker 2: Elon became the first owner of Tesla's first mass market
- 3:15Speaker 2: electric car, the Model three.
- 3:17Speaker 5: Yeah dogs damn.
- 3:18Speaker 2: So today in history.
- 3:19Speaker 5: I mean, even if Elon wanted to be off the debt,
- 3:22Speaker 5: he couldn't.
- 3:22Speaker 6: Right close, he's one he has if he sold all
- 3:26Speaker 6: his value, which would then tank the value for other people.
- 3:29Speaker 6: Of course, people don't realize that. They think he just
- 3:30Speaker 6: has a trillion dollars sitting around stall it right, and
- 3:33Speaker 6: they we have like thirty five trillion.
- 3:35Speaker 2: In debts something like that. So enjoyed.
- 3:37Speaker 6: Enjoy the inflation people, that's where's coming from.
- 3:40Speaker 2: More money?
- 3:40Speaker 5: We're good.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right. Hey, you want to talk about real problems, guys,
- 3:44Speaker 2: got to talk about Sammy. Yes, Sammy has an issue.
- 3:49Speaker 2: She moved into uh steamboat Willie's place, and she's getting
- 3:53Speaker 2: used to and she's like, you know, she's acclimating given
- 3:56Speaker 2: to her new environment, cohabitating. Yeah. Yeah. And the one thing,
- 4:01Speaker 2: what is one thing that Sammy does more than anybody else,
- 4:04Speaker 2: you know, the laundry, laundry. She's addicted. She's got a
- 4:08Speaker 2: laundry beef when it comes to Steamboat Willie's places, because.
- 4:12Speaker 7: I don't know why anyone would make a place where
- 4:17Speaker 7: the laundry the washroom dryer are not on the same
- 4:20Speaker 7: floor as the bedrooms.
- 4:22Speaker 4: That's normal, No, it's not.
- 4:26Speaker 2: The stairs.
- 4:29Speaker 4: My entire life from my house.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Now, like the laundry is on the first floor, Like
- 4:33Speaker 2: when you walk in from the garage, there's the laundry
- 4:35Speaker 2: room and the bedrooms are on the second floor. I
- 4:38Speaker 2: most place is incredibly rare to have it now, I will't.
- 4:42Speaker 2: I mean, and I had.
- 4:43Speaker 7: I lived in two story houses growing up, and then
- 4:45Speaker 7: we had the laundry on them.
- 4:46Speaker 2: But the help would just go get it ned cal Yeah,
- 4:50Speaker 2: I know. Maybe the beach house was different.
- 4:52Speaker 4: Yeah, we didn't even have the washroom dryer at the
- 4:54Speaker 4: Beach House.
- 4:57Speaker 6: The laundromat's gret you know, like when we watch these
- 5:01Speaker 6: HGTV shows, that is one of the things that they
- 5:03Speaker 6: do a lot.
- 5:04Speaker 2: When they will, like a remodel on love It or
- 5:06Speaker 2: Listed or property, laundry to that level. Yeah, they'll they'll
- 5:09Speaker 2: add a laundry room to the bedroom level.
- 5:12Speaker 4: Yes, it's so necessary.
- 5:14Speaker 2: I mean I can see where it's convenient. But back
- 5:16Speaker 2: in the day.
- 5:16Speaker 8: What point, though, seriously, and Sammy, I love you, at
- 5:20Speaker 8: what point does laundry stop running your life?
- 5:23Speaker 2: Like on these shows when you watch they make such
- 5:26Speaker 2: a big deal out, I don't want to go down
- 5:28Speaker 2: there to do laundry. Come on, it's laundry.
- 5:31Speaker 8: You do it once, well, Sammy does it once a day,
- 5:33Speaker 8: most normal people once a week, even though, don't let
- 5:35Speaker 8: it rule your life.
- 5:36Speaker 2: It's a ten minute process exactly, No.
- 5:39Speaker 7: Because you have to take it out and then you
- 5:40Speaker 7: have to fold it all and you have to carry
- 5:42Speaker 7: it all upstairs.
- 5:43Speaker 2: But you're taking it to begin with.
- 5:45Speaker 8: You could say about anything you're gonna make a meal,
- 5:47Speaker 8: You've got to get your plate out.
- 5:49Speaker 7: Like three trips up and down yesterday, just bringing different.
- 5:53Speaker 5: Cools because you're fat now and you don't want to
- 5:56Speaker 5: do this step.
- 5:57Speaker 2: You know I'm saying the answer is that you're the
- 5:59Speaker 2: type of person who you should be living either in
- 6:02Speaker 2: like a like a ranch style house, you know, like
- 6:06Speaker 2: a single story. Right, you're a single story person, you know.
- 6:10Speaker 7: I didn't realize it, but now I think I am
- 6:12Speaker 7: because growing up we always had two story houses, and
- 6:15Speaker 7: then since then I've lived in one story places and
- 6:18Speaker 7: I'm back to to a three story.
- 6:20Speaker 4: Actually, I didn't think.
- 6:21Speaker 6: It was going to be a townhouse.
- 6:23Speaker 7: I didn't think it was going to be a big deal.
- 6:24Speaker 7: And I'm like, damn it, these stairs story is.
- 6:27Speaker 4: The way to go, and you're not getting younger, so
- 6:29Speaker 4: you know those news.
- 6:30Speaker 2: I lived in Chicago and I had one of those
- 6:32Speaker 2: like three story. There was three stories plus there was
- 6:35Speaker 2: like a little roof deck, so it was nothing but
- 6:38Speaker 2: stairs stairs for days. That's the way to live for
- 6:41Speaker 2: everything anywhere. Was your laundry though it was it was
- 6:44Speaker 2: on the very first floor. It was on the ground level,
- 6:48Speaker 2: so you had to go up two stories, not even
- 6:52Speaker 2: to the next story up it was you had to
- 6:53Speaker 2: go up two stories. Like That's what my townhouse was like.
- 6:57Speaker 5: And some people they actually have to go drive.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Was just crazy, you know, I thought it was weird
- 7:04Speaker 2: when and I know, Greg, you had a situation like
- 7:06Speaker 2: this where your washer and dryer were in the garage,
- 7:09Speaker 2: like in the actually in the actual garage. Yeah, I'm
- 7:12Speaker 2: currently in that situation. Or do you ever see the
- 7:13Speaker 2: ones on some of these h G t V shows
- 7:15Speaker 2: where they're outside in the backyard on the back. Yeah,
- 7:20Speaker 2: there's there's like a back No, no, it's like a
- 7:23Speaker 2: it's a little tiny house, but it's like a little
- 7:24Speaker 2: back porch, like a closet or just on a porch.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Did you get rained on there's a covering.
- 7:30Speaker 4: I've never seen that.
- 7:31Speaker 5: Yeah, it's really weird. What's my life? The Washington dryer
- 7:34Speaker 5: were in the garage.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Yeah, in the garage, because like that's so filthy, like
- 7:39Speaker 2: the laundry room off the garage. Okay, makes sense in
- 7:41Speaker 2: the garage, but it's big enough. I have like a
- 7:43Speaker 2: rug in front of What.
- 7:44Speaker 4: About those scary unfinished basements with like the pipes and
- 7:47Speaker 4: scary cement floor.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Yes, down there that's always where our washer and good
- 7:53Speaker 2: luck survive. This baby won't sit because it say and
- 8:04Speaker 2: you know.
- 8:05Speaker 5: You don't do.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Not really big on celebrities, but definitely a celebrity. I
- 8:09Speaker 2: would love to meet Tom Hanks. It's his birthday today.
- 8:13Speaker 2: He's seventy nine years old.
- 8:15Speaker 5: Today she met him.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Most people know him as Chet Hanks Dad. Yeah, that's
- 8:19Speaker 2: how you would know who he is.
- 8:21Speaker 5: He was that Coachelle I mean no, he was that
- 8:22Speaker 5: stage coach.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Did you say seventy nine? He's seventy.
- 8:26Speaker 4: Oh, okay, that makes more sense.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I say, did I say seventy nine? I thought
- 8:30Speaker 2: you did. Maybe it's early, dude. Yeah, Fred Savage, Kevin
- 8:34Speaker 2: Arnold from the Wonder Years is fifty. Damn Kevin O'Leary
- 8:37Speaker 2: and mister Wonderful Shark Tank is seventy two.
- 8:40Speaker 6: And in Marty Supreme. Oh yeah, Big Vegas is the
- 8:44Speaker 6: one of many cameos in that movie.
- 8:45Speaker 5: And he was so good.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Pamela Adlin. Yeah, the voice of Bobby Hill on King
- 8:51Speaker 2: of the Hill is sixty. Courtney Love is sixty two
- 8:55Speaker 2: years old today. Jack White from the White Stripes is
- 8:58Speaker 2: fifty one, so is Isaac who's the lead singer of
- 9:01Speaker 2: Modest Mouse. And he got Frank Bellow Ranthrex, who's sixty one.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Your pornod birthday today is Riley Reid's. I've heard. Oh, yeah,
- 9:10Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. Yeah, you know saying Brody's birthday. Girl,
- 9:13Speaker 2: she has been rammed through more than the soccer field.
- 9:16Speaker 2: She's a nice young lady. One thousand, six hundred and
- 9:20Speaker 2: fifty five adult films at her resume. She's a mom, dude,
- 9:24Speaker 2: that's one. That's one blown out lady. How dare you?
- 9:27Speaker 2: She was in a backing into Riley's back Door, also
- 9:31Speaker 2: anal Ground and Pound. Oh that sounds like something that's
- 9:34Speaker 2: more than like, yeah, look at me while you suck
- 9:37Speaker 2: at volume two. She was in the multicultural film Sinko d'bango.
- 9:44Speaker 4: I love that.
- 9:44Speaker 2: She was in kis the Anal Season, also Thrilla in
- 9:47Speaker 2: Vanilla Yes volume twelve, she was in Straight a Squorters
- 9:52Speaker 2: and then who can forget her unfrigerd role in Slurpy
- 9:55Speaker 2: Throat Sluts.
- 9:56Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I love to read Menace to your point
- 9:59Speaker 6: a recent oh from Ley reads Instagram. Okay, people will
- 10:02Speaker 6: assume I'm a terrible mother because of my line of work.
- 10:04Speaker 6: My child's not an iPad kid. She's a play with
- 10:06Speaker 6: bugs outside.
- 10:07Speaker 2: And write stories kind of kid. Good for you. She
- 10:09Speaker 2: speaks three languages. It has learning more.
- 10:11Speaker 6: She can read and fraud only pictures, but sounds. I
- 10:13Speaker 6: spent a lot of time and money on her education.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 10:17Speaker 4: She draws sounds.
- 10:18Speaker 2: I mean that was a bit of a you.
- 10:19Speaker 5: Know, what's your kid doing?
- 10:21Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you, it's a foreign a birthday and your
- 10:24Speaker 2: celebrity birthdays. Here on the Woody Show. Take a quick break.
- 10:27Speaker 2: We got some more Wooden show for you. Next tag
- 10:31Speaker 2: show and we are into another new hour. It is
- 10:37Speaker 2: The Woody Show, Woody Greg Dennis.
- 10:40Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah.
- 10:42Speaker 2: If you want to call in great, we love that
- 10:45Speaker 2: eighty seven seven Woodie. You can send us a text
- 10:50Speaker 2: if you'd like, over to two two nine eighty seven.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I don't know why people hike. I don't see what
- 10:56Speaker 2: the appeal is. I just don't we hear. This is
- 10:59Speaker 2: what we've been saying, guys. That's what we've been saying.
- 11:03Speaker 5: It can be fun walking an example of fun. I
- 11:09Speaker 5: mean just seeing the scenery and the challenge and completing
- 11:13Speaker 5: the hike. It's cool. It's great exercise too, Like it
- 11:17Speaker 5: is one of the things I love. Like I'm not saying,
- 11:21Speaker 5: not saying. It can't be pretty dangerous too, if you know,
- 11:24Speaker 5: if you just go in there willy nilly, but at
- 11:26Speaker 5: least you get a.
- 11:26Speaker 4: View and not just a gym treadmill.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Here's what you never hear about. You never hear about
- 11:31Speaker 2: something like this happened to somebody who's watching you know, Netflix,
- 11:34Speaker 2: never on their account. You never, you never hear about this.
- 11:37Speaker 2: And another example of why you just don't go hiking guys,
- 11:41Speaker 2: a couple found finally they were missing in a forest
- 11:45Speaker 2: for a week. They only had a little food on
- 11:48Speaker 2: them because they were just planning for a little hike,
- 11:50Speaker 2: short hike. Yeah, so they had to like, you know,
- 11:53Speaker 2: scour around for berries. They drank their own urine to
- 11:57Speaker 2: avoid dying of thirst. Yeah, and while they were doing
- 12:01Speaker 2: all that, a rescue team was sent out to look
- 12:03Speaker 2: for them, and it took six days before they were
- 12:06Speaker 2: finally found and they were both okay at least. Yeah,
- 12:10Speaker 2: they're safe and sound. They'll be fine in the long run,
- 12:13Speaker 2: although it might ruin you for hiking.
- 12:15Speaker 4: Yeah, there will be no long runs.
- 12:17Speaker 5: I wouldn't do anything like that unless I had some
- 12:19Speaker 5: type of device to communicate.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Yeah, you know. Well, I mean now, it's like a
- 12:23Speaker 2: lot of the phones in T mobile, I think eighteen
- 12:27Speaker 2: all of them have some kind of deal with like
- 12:30Speaker 2: so as long as you have a view of the sky,
- 12:33Speaker 2: which if you're hiking, I would imagine you would find
- 12:35Speaker 2: a clearing or something and you can Yeah, but just.
- 12:38Speaker 5: Going in there with nothing.
- 12:40Speaker 4: Well like the movie The True Story one hundred and
- 12:43Speaker 4: twenty seven hours, The Guy.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I never watched that.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Oh it's for the best.
- 12:49Speaker 2: It sounds like good guy hiking.
- 12:50Speaker 6: I don't want there's a guy, well guy bike riding.
- 12:52Speaker 2: But yeah, I think you would love that movie. Yeah. Right,
- 12:55Speaker 2: So then when it comes time to drinking your pea,
- 12:57Speaker 2: do you tell your partner like, hey, don't look, but
- 13:00Speaker 2: I gotta catch some p now.
- 13:02Speaker 4: Or or do you p in their mouth?
- 13:05Speaker 1: Right?
- 13:05Speaker 2: Well? Yeah, directly from the fountain, right from the tap.
- 13:09Speaker 2: It's a survival. It's a survival thing. Which I was
- 13:12Speaker 2: just talking to, uh, to Jeff G about this because
- 13:14Speaker 2: you know, he's new here, hasn't really heard my stories
- 13:17Speaker 2: about the survival intervention thing that I got sent to
- 13:20Speaker 2: as a teenager, which you can watch on Netflix. It's
- 13:23Speaker 2: called Hell Camp teen Nightmare and uh, even though that's
- 13:28Speaker 2: not the specific program that I went to, it is
- 13:30Speaker 2: exactly the same as the one that I went to.
- 13:32Speaker 2: The one I went to was called SEUSS s u
- 13:35Speaker 2: w S Southern Utah Wilderness School. It's three weeks you're
- 13:38Speaker 2: out in the desert hiking miles and miles a day.
- 13:41Speaker 2: The time I was there was in the middle of winter,
- 13:42Speaker 2: so it was hiking with snow shoes. You can see
- 13:45Speaker 2: why I hate hiking. Yes, you get the idea of
- 13:48Speaker 2: any of this, That's what I'm saying. So I'm sure
- 13:50Speaker 2: it's ruined for them. But I was telling Jeff, if
- 13:52Speaker 2: you want to watch something, and it's easier to watch
- 13:55Speaker 2: this thing because you can't really tell it in a
- 13:56Speaker 2: short form h story, it's it's crazy. And between that
- 14:01Speaker 2: and the boarding school, which that's the other thing. I
- 14:03Speaker 2: don't know if he saw the story. Provo Canyon is
- 14:06Speaker 2: the boarding school in Utah where Paris Hilton Yeah, says
- 14:09Speaker 2: that she was abused as a teen. She's been doing
- 14:12Speaker 2: a lot of campaigning against that stuff while they just
- 14:14Speaker 2: have their license revoked.
- 14:15Speaker 5: Oh sweet, Yeah, I see her on social media like posting.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Yeah, a big story in Congress and oh yeah, it's
- 14:21Speaker 2: a big story. I would love. I spoke to her briefly,
- 14:25Speaker 2: ran into her a restaurant of all plays. The person
- 14:28Speaker 2: I was with knows her and her husband or boyfriend, fiance,
- 14:31Speaker 2: whatever he is. I'm not sure they're married. Are they married?
- 14:34Speaker 5: Yeah, she's married.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Yeah, Anyway, he was a really cool guy, nice dude.
- 14:39Speaker 2: But you know, I'm like, hey, I went to Mount
- 14:41Speaker 2: Bachelor Academy. You did, and so like there's a big
- 14:45Speaker 2: conversation that happened there at some point, because I'd be
- 14:47Speaker 2: interested to trade stories with her.
- 14:49Speaker 5: Paris Hilton is the coolest like ever. I've probably met
- 14:53Speaker 5: her probably like seven times, and it's never had a
- 14:56Speaker 5: bad experience. And then like she I don't know. It's
- 14:59Speaker 5: like and if you talk to anybody that's ever met her,
- 15:02Speaker 5: they'll say the same thing.
- 15:03Speaker 2: She's had a as far as like an image and whatever,
- 15:06Speaker 2: she's had a glow up because she started as like
- 15:09Speaker 2: the dumb yeah you know, you know, kind of like
- 15:13Speaker 2: just that areas she's evolved into like a very upstanding,
- 15:19Speaker 2: very very cool, very cool person. You got to watch
- 15:22Speaker 2: Cooking with Paris on Netflix. But I would love to. Uh,
- 15:30Speaker 2: I'm sure I can get it set up, but I would.
- 15:32Speaker 2: I would love you whether it was like a podcast
- 15:34Speaker 2: form or just even just hanging out somewhere with her
- 15:37Speaker 2: for a little bit and just having this conversation. I'm
- 15:39Speaker 2: because I'm sure I know for a fact that she's
- 15:41Speaker 2: interested in hearing my side. I'm really interested to hear
- 15:44Speaker 2: her side because when these stories come out. So the
- 15:46Speaker 2: hell camp one is is big. That was on the
- 15:49Speaker 2: Desert Intervention Survival program thing that I got sent to
- 15:52Speaker 2: because it got said I got kicked out of that
- 15:54Speaker 2: boarding school, right, and the boarding school was also like
- 15:57Speaker 2: Provo Canyons. So while it's not owned by the same people,
- 16:00Speaker 2: it was like, you know, if you have two things
- 16:03Speaker 2: that are are pretty much the same. Yeah, you know,
- 16:06Speaker 2: like our sister stationed down the hall, different format and
- 16:08Speaker 2: different everything, but it's all under the same company. It's
- 16:11Speaker 2: all under the same umbrella of type of school, so
- 16:15Speaker 2: it's all the same. They called it an emotional growth program.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Oh that dude. Anyway, so the school got their license revoked. Provokenny,
- 16:23Speaker 2: the one I went to by the way out of
- 16:25Speaker 2: business as well, that was put out of business years ago.
- 16:27Speaker 2: They got everything pulled from them. There's all kinds of
- 16:30Speaker 2: articles and stuff. You go online, you can look up
- 16:32Speaker 2: Mount Bachelor Academy and it was in Prineville, Oregon. That's
- 16:36Speaker 2: the school that I went to. But it's very very
- 16:39Speaker 2: similar to this one because that was we always heard
- 16:41Speaker 2: about Provo Canyon. Well, you know, you can always go
- 16:43Speaker 2: to Provo Canyon. You're not gonna be here. Your parents
- 16:45Speaker 2: aren't just gonna stand your home. They're gonna send you
- 16:47Speaker 2: to another school like Provo. Yeah, that's the thing that
- 16:49Speaker 2: was always It wasn't even a threat because it's just
- 16:51Speaker 2: another school that did the same thing. It's like, you
- 16:53Speaker 2: find you it doesn't work out here, your parents can
- 16:55Speaker 2: just put you another one.
- 16:56Speaker 7: Right.
- 16:57Speaker 2: So the citations these go back to twenty twenty five,
- 16:59Speaker 2: and there's been a long history of these. But see
- 17:02Speaker 2: include engaging in unnecessary restraint. So I can tell you
- 17:05Speaker 2: what that's about, aggressive physical contact. I know what that's about.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Neglecting care, I don't. I don't know about that, not
- 17:13Speaker 2: verifying employee information or submitting background checks. I bet you
- 17:16Speaker 2: that's true because a lot of times these schools and
- 17:19Speaker 2: these programs are in these like very rural type areas. Yeah,
- 17:22Speaker 2: and there's not a lot to pull from locally, you know,
- 17:25Speaker 2: like from a talent standpoint, you would have to have
- 17:26Speaker 2: people moving there just to take this job, which some
- 17:31Speaker 2: people did. Some people did, but other times, like a
- 17:33Speaker 2: lot of these programs, they would just hire like the
- 17:36Speaker 2: local yokels who just needed a job. And you know
- 17:38Speaker 2: Billy Badass who yah, who went who went to boot
- 17:43Speaker 2: camp and then you know, couldn't cut it in the military.
- 17:45Speaker 2: So now he's working at the Desert Intervention program, you know,
- 17:48Speaker 2: handling these kids. Uh Paris spent a year there in
- 17:51Speaker 2: the late nineties. Said the staff members beat her, watched
- 17:54Speaker 2: her shower, fed her unknown pills, and locked her in
- 17:57Speaker 2: solitary confinement without clothes. Now staff members beating her. I'm
- 18:04Speaker 2: just I'm going by like stuff that maybe I see
- 18:06Speaker 2: not at Mount Batchler. I didn't see that, but I
- 18:08Speaker 2: saw I saw some pretty aggressive stuff in this other
- 18:10Speaker 2: program that I ended up at called Three Springs, which
- 18:12Speaker 2: was in Alabama. Watched her shower. Yes, they would. They
- 18:16Speaker 2: would do that if they thought you were trying to
- 18:19Speaker 2: hide something. You came back from like a home visit,
- 18:21Speaker 2: come back from visiting. There was always a strip search.
- 18:24Speaker 2: When he came back. They go through every article of clothing,
- 18:27Speaker 2: everything in your bag. You got a strip search. You
- 18:30Speaker 2: had to do the whole like you know, bend over
- 18:31Speaker 2: and cough thing, fed her unknown pills. That's the thing.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Like I know that there were kids who didn't want
- 18:39Speaker 2: to take their medication. They would cheek it. But they
- 18:41Speaker 2: would also have these systems in place to see if
- 18:43Speaker 2: making the kids just take making sure they're taking their
- 18:45Speaker 2: riddle in or you know, whatever they were prescribed. Sometimes
- 18:49Speaker 2: like the kid wasn't even aware that they were you know.
- 18:52Speaker 2: You know, it's like a doctor or their parents that
- 18:53Speaker 2: had them, you know, prescribed this thing. They didn't even
- 18:56Speaker 2: know what it was. Locked her in solitary confinement. Yeah,
- 18:58Speaker 2: it's called a solo yeah, or a self study. That
- 19:02Speaker 2: was they called it. They called it. I was, I
- 19:04Speaker 2: was on plenty of self studies.
- 19:06Speaker 5: Now, Paris says that, and I think you go through
- 19:09Speaker 5: the same thing. When she tried to bring this up
- 19:11Speaker 5: to her parents, uh like even after she left, Oh,
- 19:14Speaker 5: they don't even want to talk.
- 19:15Speaker 2: No, you kidding, if anything like this is this time
- 19:18Speaker 2: of my life, my timeline has brought me from my mom.
- 19:21Speaker 2: My mom will leave the room, she won't talk about it.
- 19:23Speaker 2: It's it's a well, it's a thing.
- 19:26Speaker 4: But then a lot of these schools, they will reach
- 19:27Speaker 4: out to the parents in advance and say, this is
- 19:29Speaker 4: what your kid is going to tell you, and it's
- 19:31Speaker 4: just because they don't want to be here. It's just
- 19:32Speaker 4: because they're spoiled brats. So they will sort of muddy
- 19:35Speaker 4: the water before the kid talks to the parent.
- 19:37Speaker 2: The school is now under new ownership, so the administration
- 19:40Speaker 2: says they can't comment on anything during their during her
- 19:42Speaker 2: time there. Now, she has been campaigning lawmakers to shut
- 19:45Speaker 2: the school down for a while. I mean she testified
- 19:47Speaker 2: before Congress's men as mentioned, and state legislatures and all
- 19:50Speaker 2: that kind of stuff to pass these lots becuse there's
- 19:53Speaker 2: a lot of these team programs out there and we
- 19:55Speaker 2: read into them. I get it parents sometimes even as
- 19:57Speaker 2: a parent's like, man, you feel like you're at the
- 19:59Speaker 2: end of your rope and you don't know what to do,
- 20:01Speaker 2: and you feel like it's gonna be critical, and you
- 20:03Speaker 2: know this is going to be you know, I got
- 20:04Speaker 2: to make a decision, a tough decision. You send you
- 20:06Speaker 2: but you got to know where you're sending these these kids.
- 20:09Speaker 2: And it's like it's like the supplement industry. It's not
- 20:12Speaker 2: really all that regulator, yeah, study, you know what I mean. Yeah,
- 20:15Speaker 2: So like people are selling you the snake oil stuff
- 20:17Speaker 2: or whatever, but you're sending your kids off to these places.
- 20:19Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 20:20Speaker 2: And now you got to keep in mind too, because
- 20:22Speaker 2: there was this other boarding school story out of New York.
- 20:26Speaker 2: There was a ten million dollar lawsuit filed by a
- 20:28Speaker 2: former student claiming that the kids were kept in closets
- 20:32Speaker 2: without food, water, or bathrooms for days. Physically abused students
- 20:36Speaker 2: were strip searched upon arrival. That stuff I've seen, and
- 20:38Speaker 2: I've seen that forced in sexualized group sessions. I've seen that.
- 20:44Speaker 2: But because that you're you're going over your past. There
- 20:46Speaker 2: were some kids, some girls that I was at this
- 20:48Speaker 2: boarding school with that were there because they were doing
- 20:50Speaker 2: all kinds of stuff, either to get drugs or just
- 20:52Speaker 2: because they decided they were going to prostitute themselves. And
- 20:55Speaker 2: so that you go into it's all this kind of
- 20:57Speaker 2: group therapy stuff and they start having these kids like
- 21:01Speaker 2: dive into you know, they're they're past their history. So
- 21:05Speaker 2: when you say sexualized group sessions, that's probably what that is.
- 21:07Speaker 2: It's not like they're they're they're forcing kids into an orgy.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Nobody's making out. No, it's not like that. But yes,
- 21:13Speaker 2: there's a lot of like very heavy sexual talk because
- 21:15Speaker 2: this chick's talking about how she used to give you know,
- 21:18Speaker 2: blowies so she could get money to go get you know,
- 21:21Speaker 2: whatever she was on heroin or or Yeah, it was
- 21:24Speaker 2: crazy heavy stuff, required to work like slaves for the
- 21:28Speaker 2: direct financial benefit of the family that owned the boarding school. Well, yeah,
- 21:32Speaker 2: there was always physical labor because we were, as the
- 21:34Speaker 2: students in charge of upkeeping the campus, cleaning dorms, washing dishes,
- 21:39Speaker 2: you know, like maintaining all the pathways throughout the campus
- 21:42Speaker 2: and stuff. Our school was in the middle of the
- 21:44Speaker 2: Ochiko National Forest, which is like like east of Prineville,
- 21:47Speaker 2: Central Oregon. And it's not like they were bringing in
- 21:51Speaker 2: cleaning crews. You had a school full of kids, yeah,
- 21:53Speaker 2: and it was teaching them responsibility. So you know, kids
- 21:55Speaker 2: bitched about it. But you know, my kids bitch about
- 21:57Speaker 2: chores too. Now, did you guys have tea time I
- 22:00Speaker 2: required the work like slaves. I wouldn't. I would, I
- 22:02Speaker 2: wouldn't classify like that. And this is what I'm talking
- 22:04Speaker 2: about with some of these kids. Some of these kids
- 22:06Speaker 2: are really messed up, you know, and nobody liked being there.
- 22:09Speaker 2: And I'll give you the perfect example, like we would,
- 22:12Speaker 2: we would dramatize some things, you know, Like you know,
- 22:15Speaker 2: the way you were describing it, like sexualized group sessions.
- 22:17Speaker 2: You throw that out there. It's very vague and you're
- 22:19Speaker 2: thinking something else. I just told you what it was.
- 22:22Speaker 2: That's exactly what it was, right, But the kids would go,
- 22:24Speaker 2: oh yeah, and people go, I can't believe that we
- 22:27Speaker 2: got it. Okay, Well, you know, maybe maybe it's out
- 22:29Speaker 2: of context. Some of the stuff is out of context.
- 22:31Speaker 2: This is my example. I was trying to convince my
- 22:34Speaker 2: parents what a terrible places was. And it's not great.
- 22:37Speaker 2: It wasn't great by any stretches. I hated being there.
- 22:39Speaker 2: I'm glad it's shut down, all of it, all of it.
- 22:43Speaker 2: They shouldn't exist. I hate it. It's a black mark
- 22:46Speaker 2: on my life. It's a time I'll never get back.
- 22:49Speaker 2: I did learn a lot from it in many ways,
- 22:51Speaker 2: not in the ways that we're intended, but got a
- 22:53Speaker 2: lot out of it for you know, unintended reasons. But
- 22:57Speaker 2: one thing that we did it was pretty fun. I
- 22:58Speaker 2: was telling Jeff there was this barbed wire fence behind
- 23:03Speaker 2: the dorms and it wasn't to keep us in. It
- 23:05Speaker 2: was to keep there was like you know, random livestock
- 23:08Speaker 2: and stuff that would like wander through because there was
- 23:10Speaker 2: like ranches and stuff nearby and every once in a while,
- 23:12Speaker 2: so it was to keep things out. But I would
- 23:15Speaker 2: I would say that they were keeping us behind barbed
- 23:17Speaker 2: wire fence. And I was telling my parents and whoever
- 23:20Speaker 2: would listen to this when I had the opportunity, And
- 23:22Speaker 2: so I had a friend of mine take a picture
- 23:25Speaker 2: where it looked like and I had my my my
- 23:27Speaker 2: top hands on top of the top link of barbed wire,
- 23:30Speaker 2: and I'm just kind of looking to the side, like, hey, look,
- 23:33Speaker 2: we're behind these barb wire fences. The fence was three
- 23:35Speaker 2: feet tall. I took the picture from my knees holding
- 23:40Speaker 2: on to the to the stuff and and frame the
- 23:42Speaker 2: picture that way. But if I stood up, it would
- 23:45Speaker 2: come up to like my belly button. About the angles, man,
- 23:50Speaker 2: it's all It's all about the angles anyway. So, I mean,
- 23:53Speaker 2: while there there is some truth in a lot of
- 23:55Speaker 2: this stuff, there's a there's a lot of there's a
- 23:57Speaker 2: lot of dramatics involved to because of like who you're
- 24:00Speaker 2: dealing with. And it doesn't take away from the fact
- 24:03Speaker 2: that these schools shouldn't exist, at least unregulated the way
- 24:06Speaker 2: that they are. And I'm glad that Paris has been
- 24:08Speaker 2: doing what she's been doing because it will do to it. Yeah,
- 24:12Speaker 2: it sucks. And and that one particular documentary that you
- 24:15Speaker 2: watch called hell camp on Netflix. That is dead to
- 24:18Speaker 2: real That's exactly what I went through. Not the same place,
- 24:23Speaker 2: but exactly what I went through. And when you watch that,
- 24:26Speaker 2: you understand. You go, dude, this should not this should
- 24:28Speaker 2: not be a thing. Yeah, so good for her. Congratulations
- 24:31Speaker 2: to uh, to Paris and to uh everybody involved. Uh,
- 24:35Speaker 2: that's great. In this other lawsuit in New York, they're
- 24:37Speaker 2: saying that, you know, these schools run this one in
- 24:39Speaker 2: New York former alcoholics, self identified sex addicts with no
- 24:43Speaker 2: professional licensing, clinical training, or educational credentials, which is true
- 24:46Speaker 2: because you know, sometimes these rehab kind of play you
- 24:49Speaker 2: have former drug addicts who are working with current drug
- 24:51Speaker 2: addicts trying to say, hey, you know, I used to
- 24:53Speaker 2: be this way too. That's how these staff members were,
- 24:56Speaker 2: like I used to be addicted to porn and I
- 24:58Speaker 2: used to blah blah blah blah blah, and I used
- 24:59Speaker 2: to get pros dudes and whatever and I and they
- 25:02Speaker 2: were maybe they were trying to help, but I that
- 25:04Speaker 2: is that part right there is true.
- 25:06Speaker 4: But they didn't have the training that goes with that.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah no, unless they did it online, which
- 25:12Speaker 2: at the time online didn't exist. They did exactly. Yeah,
- 25:15Speaker 2: all right, well uh yeah, so you know if we
- 25:19Speaker 2: can get parents. Do you have a mess you? I
- 25:21Speaker 2: thought you had a contact actually just sent a text.
- 25:23Speaker 11: Did someone I know is in direct contact with her
- 25:26Speaker 11: stuff with her, So I just shut the text out.
- 25:28Speaker 5: So it's emotions.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you won't.
- 25:31Speaker 5: Be disappointed like meeting with her and talk.
- 25:34Speaker 2: No, I don't think, like I said, my interaction with
- 25:36Speaker 2: her just in that brief time.
- 25:37Speaker 5: You know, it's not what you see on television from
- 25:39Speaker 5: like you know, the Simple Life.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, no, I don't think. I've watched a lot
- 25:42Speaker 2: of I watched a lot of her interviews with this
- 25:45Speaker 2: stuff as just popped up because you know, people know
- 25:47Speaker 2: about my you know, history or whatever, and they'll they'll
- 25:49Speaker 2: send that to me and like, wow, she's really good.
- 25:51Speaker 4: Even her voice, she's really good.
- 25:53Speaker 2: And she's got a really cool plane. You guys. Yeah,
- 25:57Speaker 2: it says Paris on the tail.
- 25:59Speaker 4: There's no way to know.
- 26:00Speaker 2: It's white and pink. Pretty, it's pretty plain, Greg, it's nice,
- 26:04Speaker 2: it's it's okay. I clicked. If she offered me a
- 26:07Speaker 2: ride on it, I would accept. Is the Wood Show
- 26:14Speaker 2: and it's uh, go right to Gina Grad who's got
- 26:17Speaker 2: the trending news headlines.
- 26:19Speaker 4: Well, yeah, President Trump has some harsh words for a round.
- 26:22Speaker 5: I think it's over. I don't want to deal with
- 26:23Speaker 5: them with this scum.
- 26:25Speaker 9: You know what scum is.
- 26:26Speaker 2: There's scum.
- 26:27Speaker 5: There's sick people.
- 26:27Speaker 2: There's something wrong with them.
- 26:29Speaker 3: They're cuckoo, they are liars, they're cheats, they're sick people.
- 26:33Speaker 2: All right, Jeff and Bort, do me a favor. I
- 26:35Speaker 2: want that for one of these Woody Show, like when
- 26:38Speaker 2: we come back from breaks and stuff. Yeah, yeah, it's
- 26:41Speaker 2: like the Woody Show.
- 26:42Speaker 5: I think it's over. I don't want to deal with
- 26:44Speaker 5: them with this scum.
- 26:45Speaker 2: You know what scum is the Woody Show. There's scum.
- 26:48Speaker 5: There's sick people.
- 26:49Speaker 2: There's something wrong with them.
- 26:50Speaker 3: They're cuckoo, they are liars, they're cheats, they're sick people.
- 26:54Speaker 2: And they are back and then we come then we
- 26:57Speaker 2: come back and all right, guys, time for guess who's
- 26:59Speaker 2: gut show. They are cuckoo. They're cuckoo, there.
- 27:02Speaker 4: Are not they're liars. Well, it's the latest round of
- 27:06Speaker 4: the retribution strikes, with the US carrying out hits on
- 27:09Speaker 4: ninety military targets to limit Iran's ability to attack those
- 27:12Speaker 4: ships in the Strait of Horror mooth or mouth for Moose.
- 27:17Speaker 4: And of course we already know that that means oil
- 27:19Speaker 4: prices are up again. The price of gas already went
- 27:22Speaker 4: up five cents a gallon overnight. I know we're all shocked.
- 27:25Speaker 4: And the twenty twenty six Emmy Emmy nominees have been announced.
- 27:29Speaker 4: And my favorite show, The Pit, which is on HBO.
- 27:33Speaker 4: They led all the shows with twenty five nomination.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I gotta get her. I got it. I just
- 27:38Speaker 2: gotta make time to check it out.
- 27:41Speaker 4: It's incredible.
- 27:42Speaker 5: Did you see who also got a nomination for comedy?
- 27:45Speaker 5: Say Tom Segura, rare bad thoughts?
- 27:50Speaker 6: She really happy?
- 27:51Speaker 2: Gene smart? Of course she did for later. Actually, I
- 27:54Speaker 2: gotta say the final season of Hacks. I agree with you,
- 27:58Speaker 2: right it was. But I saw they got a lot
- 28:01Speaker 2: of nominations.
- 28:02Speaker 4: Rights, yeah, twenty four and Greg Lisa Koudro for the Comeback.
- 28:08Speaker 2: I fell off on that too, Oh my god. But
- 28:11Speaker 2: the Pit, I thought you're gonna be supportive of your
- 28:13Speaker 2: old friend, my dear friend.
- 28:17Speaker 4: The biggest surprise was Widow's Bay from Apple TV. Anyone
- 28:21Speaker 4: YEA even heard of it?
- 28:22Speaker 2: I love that show. It's really good. What's it about there?
- 28:24Speaker 11: It's kind of a mix of horror and sci fi.
- 28:27Speaker 11: It's about an island back in the eighties that people
- 28:29Speaker 11: believe is curse, cursed, and all kinds of strange things
- 28:32Speaker 11: happen on that so it's pretty cool. And they're basically
- 28:34Speaker 11: like trapped on that island because you believe you die.
- 28:36Speaker 5: Okay, so get stuff great acting in there.
- 28:38Speaker 4: And finally Apple TV show Pluribys, which I also loved,
- 28:42Speaker 4: had eighteen nominations, So good time for TV. Except if
- 28:46Speaker 4: you're Greg and it's on his favorite shop, Well, is
- 28:49Speaker 4: just that last season I had?
- 28:50Speaker 2: I think they just ran out of stuff to do.
- 28:52Speaker 4: The show is going to air on September fourteenth on
- 28:55Speaker 4: NBC and Peacock And okay, this is insane. This time
- 29:00Speaker 4: toddler that was pronounced dead after being pulled out of
- 29:02Speaker 4: a pool in Arizona was found breathing hours later in
- 29:06Speaker 4: the hospital.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Oh so you hear about that in other countries. Yeah,
- 29:10Speaker 2: you don't hear about that kind of stuff in Arizona. Yeah,
- 29:12Speaker 2: in Arizona. It's always in like some other country, some
- 29:15Speaker 2: you know, weird thing where it's like the person that
- 29:18Speaker 2: has the toe tag on yes, all of a sudden,
- 29:20Speaker 2: it's like what am I doing?
- 29:20Speaker 4: And yeah, they wake up. Okay, so listen to this
- 29:23Speaker 4: because it just is everything is crazier by the second.
- 29:26Speaker 4: So his parents got to the hospital and police declared
- 29:29Speaker 4: him dead. But while the parents were saying they're goodbyes,
- 29:32Speaker 4: they realized he was still alive. So after the cops
- 29:35Speaker 4: told the boy's parents he had died, they were saying,
- 29:37Speaker 4: you know, goodbye, and then they realized he was still breathing.
- 29:40Speaker 4: But the nurse says, oh, that's just a goneal breathing.
- 29:43Speaker 4: That's basically just like when aaron gas just kind of
- 29:45Speaker 4: leaves your body for the last time. But according to
- 29:48Speaker 4: the police report, an officer heard a nurse say he
- 29:50Speaker 4: still has a pulse, and then cops told the doctor,
- 29:54Speaker 4: and the doctor reminded the officer that quote. He was
- 29:57Speaker 4: the doctor. He had the medical degree, he went to
- 29:59Speaker 4: medical school for a reason, and to let him do
- 30:02Speaker 4: his thing.
- 30:02Speaker 2: But check it out. You here every day, kid's still breathing.
- 30:09Speaker 2: It's whatever you said, breathing gone aloud. Okay, fine, if
- 30:12Speaker 2: that's what it is, worst case scenario, you wasted thirty
- 30:15Speaker 2: seconds of your time to go nor see there's no pulse,
- 30:18Speaker 2: he's not breathing.
- 30:19Speaker 4: Yeah, you can't just stick a mirror under his nose
- 30:21Speaker 4: real quick.
- 30:22Speaker 5: That's why female doctors exactly, digs Man.
- 30:26Speaker 4: So the little boy was rushed to Phoenix Children's Hospital.
- 30:29Speaker 4: Doctors found he had no brain damage. Back home, Yeah,
- 30:35Speaker 4: he's going through physical therapy. It's a miracle for sure.
- 30:39Speaker 4: And I am so glad this didn't happen to you,
- 30:42Speaker 4: because you, of course are the first person.
- 30:43Speaker 2: I got it in the pool. No, no, no, well
- 30:45Speaker 2: that too thanks.
- 30:48Speaker 4: This forty two year old flight instructor was in the
- 30:51Speaker 4: middle of a flight lesson when he told his student, quote,
- 30:53Speaker 4: you know what you have to do? Carry on. Then
- 30:56Speaker 4: he opened the door and jumped out of the plane.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Oh damn, twenty two year old student. Now, okay, well
- 31:02Speaker 2: it's time to solo. When you're taking flight lessons. Okay,
- 31:04Speaker 2: what they typically do, because you don't necessarily know as
- 31:06Speaker 2: a student when it's gonna happen, like when you're going
- 31:08Speaker 2: to solo, they don't tell you beforehand. They don't want
- 31:10Speaker 2: to any air well, they don't want you to trip out,
- 31:13Speaker 2: you know, like you know, getting anxious about it, right,
- 31:16Speaker 2: So typically what they'll do is like when they know
- 31:18Speaker 2: you're ready to go, you grow out and you do
- 31:20Speaker 2: like a couple laps in the pattern at the airport
- 31:23Speaker 2: just and then they say, all right, land and then
- 31:26Speaker 2: you drop. They go all right, you're gonna drop me
- 31:27Speaker 2: off over here, and then you're gonna go do your
- 31:30Speaker 2: solo and you go, oh, but you land first, and
- 31:32Speaker 2: then they get out.
- 31:33Speaker 12: Right.
- 31:33Speaker 5: Yeah, it happens. And this guy didn't want to waste
- 31:36Speaker 5: time though, And that's.
- 31:37Speaker 2: The weirdest feeling too, by the way, like the first
- 31:39Speaker 2: time that happens, because like the instructor gets out and
- 31:42Speaker 2: it's the first time you're in the plane by yourself
- 31:44Speaker 2: and you're about to go take off and you're like, ooh,
- 31:47Speaker 2: this is right, all right, let's do this.
- 31:49Speaker 4: So thank god, this twenty two year old kid was
- 31:51Speaker 4: able to maintain control. Here's the thing, and he landed safely.
- 31:56Speaker 4: The flight instructor's body was recovered.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Oh yeah, he was. Yeah.
- 32:01Speaker 4: No, they don't know why they're so nice. I mean,
- 32:04Speaker 4: I guess you really want to traumatize the kid next
- 32:06Speaker 4: to you, that's the way to do it. And finally,
- 32:09Speaker 4: a thirty six year old dude in Indiana is involved
- 32:12Speaker 4: in one of the craziest stories this year. They were
- 32:14Speaker 4: just getting crazy today.
- 32:15Speaker 13: So get this.
- 32:16Speaker 4: He cut off his own penis with a kitchen knife.
- 32:19Speaker 4: He doused it with gasoline, and then he used it
- 32:23Speaker 4: to start a garage fire. A few minutes after the fire.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Maybe could take two penises and start like a bow
- 32:33Speaker 2: drill fire like.
- 32:35Speaker 4: Yeah, they found this dude covered in blood wandering the streets,
- 32:38Speaker 4: and he told him that he was stabbed. But then
- 32:40Speaker 4: when he was taken to the hospital, I guess he
- 32:42Speaker 4: just decided to tell on himself and confess to the
- 32:44Speaker 4: cops he started the fire. So the cops went back
- 32:47Speaker 4: to the fire, and sure enough they found all, well
- 32:50Speaker 4: almost all the evidence, including the knife, but they think
- 32:53Speaker 4: that the penis was probably burned up by then. And yeah,
- 32:56Speaker 4: the man was putting cuffs and charged with arson. I
- 32:59Speaker 4: guess you don't get with like cutting off your own penis.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Wasn't there a story about a guy he was trying
- 33:03Speaker 2: to prove to his wife he was never going to
- 33:04Speaker 2: cheat on her again, so he cut off his own
- 33:06Speaker 2: penis and put it in the garbage disposal. Yeah, there
- 33:12Speaker 2: was a story. I know there was a story about it.
- 33:14Speaker 2: I might be complating. I might be complating two different stories,
- 33:17Speaker 2: but there was one. There was one where the guy
- 33:19Speaker 2: cut off his own penis to prove to his wife
- 33:21Speaker 2: he was never going to cheat on her again. I'm like,
- 33:23Speaker 2: there's other ways to do that.
- 33:24Speaker 4: Yeah, well now she doesn't want to either.
- 33:26Speaker 2: I mean, that's the ultimate way to do it.
- 33:28Speaker 4: Exactly, gross anyway, I mean it wouldn't it.
- 33:32Speaker 2: But wouldn't the mouth party also be cheating ladies, Like
- 33:34Speaker 2: if you decided to give a mouth party to another chick. Yeah,
- 33:38Speaker 2: emotional cheating. And it's just not p in the v
- 33:42Speaker 2: relations cheating.
- 33:44Speaker 4: No, you're absolutely right.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Yeah, it also could be emotional cheating. Maybe he's sending
- 33:48Speaker 2: her funny memes, so he needs back and forth with
- 33:51Speaker 2: his request.
- 33:52Speaker 4: Yeah, so now he needs a lobotomy. The list just
- 33:54Speaker 4: gets longer and longer. Yeah, exactly, that's what's going on.
- 33:56Speaker 2: We got some more woody show coming up for you
- 33:58Speaker 2: next second show, great show. A little follow up on
- 34:09Speaker 2: the news. A couple of stories we were talking about
- 34:13Speaker 2: that that story about the guy who cut off his
- 34:17Speaker 2: own penis in Indiana. He cut his own penis off
- 34:21Speaker 2: with a kitchen knife, doused it with gasoline, and then
- 34:24Speaker 2: used it to start a garage fire, and then the
- 34:28Speaker 2: cops found him wondering the streets and he told me
- 34:31Speaker 2: he was stabbed queer. It's a very very strange story.
- 34:36Speaker 2: A couple of people on the text you guys are
- 34:38Speaker 2: good man gives new meaning to Molotov cocktail good got
- 34:44Speaker 2: as Yeah, you know what. And we see that in
- 34:47Speaker 2: the comments on the on Instagram and stuff like about
- 34:51Speaker 2: Tyler's tattoos because that yeah, that's right. And then the
- 34:55Speaker 2: other story out of Arizona where that toddler was pulled
- 35:00Speaker 2: out of the pool, brought to the hospital declared dead.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Parents are saying they're goodbyes, realized the kid is still alive,
- 35:06Speaker 2: still breathing. The police go to tell the doctor like, hey, no,
- 35:10Speaker 2: come on, this kid's like no, no, no, I'm the doctor.
- 35:12Speaker 2: I went to medical school. Let me do my job.
- 35:15Speaker 2: The kids fine, Yeah, he's fine, no brain damage, none
- 35:19Speaker 2: of this. Like what an incredible story. Yeah, another incredible
- 35:23Speaker 2: baby story out of Canada. This new mom she gave
- 35:27Speaker 2: birth to her baby while sleeping through her epidural. That
- 35:32Speaker 2: sounds awesome like she had a baby in her sleep.
- 35:34Speaker 4: Oh, sign up, lucky.
- 35:36Speaker 2: The nurses found the baby minutes later under a pile
- 35:38Speaker 2: of blankets. The baby's one hundred percent fine.
- 35:41Speaker 14: Oh wait wait wait, it's.
- 35:42Speaker 4: Not like they were delivering the baby and it was
- 35:45Speaker 4: all nobody was around.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Yeah, because she they gave her the epidural, and then
- 35:50Speaker 2: they gave her the epidural. And he said, the process
- 35:52Speaker 2: when you go and you check in, you know, they
- 35:54Speaker 2: get you prepped in the whole thing and so that
- 35:57Speaker 2: you got the contractions going and things like that, to
- 35:59Speaker 2: come back and check and see where things are, how dilated.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Blah blah blah blah blah. They do the whole thing right,
- 36:03Speaker 2: and then they'll they'll give the epidural and you're just
- 36:06Speaker 2: so she passes. She fell asleep. And while she was
- 36:09Speaker 2: asleep because of the epidural, killing all the feeling from
- 36:13Speaker 2: whoever down. Uh didn't realize there's a baby. I mean,
- 36:16Speaker 2: I guess that's the way. Yeah, right, that's okay.
- 36:20Speaker 7: We just.
- 36:28Speaker 9: Didn't feel that.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't feel is it the epidural or other things.
- 36:35Speaker 2: If it's her first If it's her first child, that's
- 36:39Speaker 2: really incredible. Second child, third child. As you go on, Uh,
- 36:43Speaker 2: that process is a little bit easier. Yeah. The first
- 36:46Speaker 2: one was was was more difficult for my wife. The
- 36:51Speaker 2: second one doesn't like when I say I said, I said, babe.
- 36:53Speaker 2: The second one pretty much just shot out yeah.
- 36:56Speaker 7: But it is because the body knows what to do,
- 36:58Speaker 7: Like the female body knows how to get a baby out,
- 37:01Speaker 7: and once it's done it before, it knows how to
- 37:03Speaker 7: do it again.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Part of it got anything to do with the giant.
- 37:09Speaker 4: Keep stretching it over and over again.
- 37:11Speaker 2: It's gonna lose it. The last Disney. It's kind of
- 37:12Speaker 2: like after years of eating a lot, my stomach just
- 37:15Speaker 2: got used to larger quantities. The same thing.
- 37:21Speaker 10: This.
- 37:21Speaker 6: It's a show.
- 37:25Speaker 2: And ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, please welcome to
- 37:27Speaker 2: the program. He is a TV tech reporter for k
- 37:33Speaker 2: t l A in Los Angeles. He hosts a syndicated
- 37:36Speaker 2: radio show, Rich on Tech. He has Rich DeMuro at
- 37:40Speaker 2: rich on Tech on Instagram. Hello Rich, how are you
- 37:44Speaker 2: my friend?
- 37:45Speaker 10: Rich? I'm doing so well.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Thanks for having me back. I really appreciate it. Oh yeah,
- 37:49Speaker 2: because there was a there was a really big chance
- 37:51Speaker 2: and we were never going to have you back. It
- 37:55Speaker 2: was really kind of like, I don't know if it's
- 37:56Speaker 2: gonna happen or now, But no, Rich, we always love
- 37:58Speaker 2: having you on because Rich sides knowing so much about
- 38:01Speaker 2: the tech and gadgets and different pieces of software and
- 38:03Speaker 2: all these things out of that world that you should
- 38:05Speaker 2: know about. It's just stuff that people can actually use.
- 38:08Speaker 2: It doesn't get too into the weeds of the stuff
- 38:09Speaker 2: that's like real for the hardcore you know, tech dorks,
- 38:13Speaker 2: you know, but it's it's good what they call consumer
- 38:17Speaker 2: consumer tech, consumer tech. Yeah, yeah, anyway, the average person. Yeah.
- 38:22Speaker 2: But you can find all of his Rich on Tech
- 38:23Speaker 2: TV segments, the rich on Tech radio show, it's all
- 38:26Speaker 2: there on his website rich on tech dot TV. You
- 38:29Speaker 2: can also subscribe to his free newsletter rich on tech
- 38:32Speaker 2: dot TV and uh, everything we talk about with Rich.
- 38:35Speaker 2: He has linked up on that website again Rich rich
- 38:38Speaker 2: on tech dot TV. Rich, good to have you back.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Gangs all here, Yeah, Greg and Madus Gina.
- 38:45Speaker 15: So, Gina, you'll love this or maybe you'll hate it,
- 38:48Speaker 15: depending on how we use it. But there's a new
- 38:51Speaker 15: AI image generation tool from Meta called Muse and it
- 38:55Speaker 15: is powerful. It's really fast, it's really slick, and you know,
- 38:59Speaker 15: Meta built this themselves and they just released it. You
- 39:03Speaker 15: can find it inside your Instagram stories or if you
- 39:06Speaker 15: have the meta a app downloaded like I do. But
- 39:09Speaker 15: here is the wild part not you know, obviously you
- 39:11Speaker 15: can create AI images a million different ways. What their
- 39:14Speaker 15: little spin on it is is that you can at someone.
- 39:17Speaker 15: So basically you can tag someone in trompt I did
- 39:20Speaker 15: hear about that, Like, go ahead at Gina grad and
- 39:23Speaker 15: you can say, you know, put me and Gina in
- 39:25Speaker 15: a radio studio together or whatever, you know, on a
- 39:29Speaker 15: beach and who knows where, and it will it will
- 39:32Speaker 15: look at your profile, it will find your pictures and
- 39:35Speaker 15: it will use those as the reference to create the
- 39:37Speaker 15: AI image.
- 39:39Speaker 2: And it's really good and kind of scary at so,
- 39:42Speaker 2: I just saw a post about this yesterday and it
- 39:45Speaker 2: was a whole thing about how to disable people from
- 39:48Speaker 2: being able to use the stuff that's on your where
- 39:50Speaker 2: and be able to do it like and disable it.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Like you go into your settings and then you go
- 39:56Speaker 2: down to let me say, I know, if I.
- 39:57Speaker 15: Look at it sharing, it's I've got it on my Instagram.
- 40:00Speaker 15: At rich On Tech, it's you own your profile menu,
- 40:02Speaker 15: your settings and activity. Scroll all the way down to
- 40:05Speaker 15: where it says sharing and reuse, and there's a new
- 40:08Speaker 15: option that basically says, do you want to allow others
- 40:11Speaker 15: to use your photos and videos for AI Image Generation Nope,
- 40:14Speaker 15: and you can opt out, Andy, I think you already have.
- 40:18Speaker 15: I'm kind of on the gate, like I'm on the
- 40:20Speaker 15: fence here. I'm like, I kind of like, I kind
- 40:22Speaker 15: of like it because it's fun, but also I don't
- 40:24Speaker 15: know if I want other people using.
- 40:25Speaker 2: My picture just for whatever they want.
- 40:28Speaker 15: No, this is great.
- 40:29Speaker 4: I literally just put in make Rich DeMuro and Gina
- 40:33Speaker 4: grad ride a unicorn over a rainbow and it looks majestic. Yes,
- 40:39Speaker 4: it's I mean my hair is on point.
- 40:43Speaker 5: Can ryan people again? How to get to that?
- 40:45Speaker 2: Yeah? Disabled, that's it. The website.
- 40:54Speaker 5: You can open it on your Instagram.
- 40:56Speaker 15: You can, it'll say when you on my Instagram this morning.
- 40:58Speaker 15: When I first it was like, hey, new AI Image Generator,
- 41:03Speaker 15: and the tagging part was.
- 41:05Speaker 13: Not available just yet.
- 41:06Speaker 15: But you know, these companies, they don't they roll things out,
- 41:09Speaker 15: which means they don't give it to everyone all at
- 41:11Speaker 15: once because it might like blow up their systems or
- 41:13Speaker 15: something might go wrong, so they just they kind of
- 41:15Speaker 15: roll it out. So even if you look for the
- 41:17Speaker 15: settings and they don't say AI just yet, you know,
- 41:19Speaker 15: give it a day or so. But yes, you can
- 41:21Speaker 15: go in there and turn this off if you want.
- 41:23Speaker 15: The thing that I think people like a privacy expert
- 41:26Speaker 15: or you know, might have an issue with, is this
- 41:29Speaker 15: is something that should probably not be turned on by default.
- 41:32Speaker 15: It should be something that you opt into. And I
- 41:34Speaker 15: would argue for that, but you know, Meta wants people
- 41:37Speaker 15: to use these things, and there's a lot of people
- 41:39Speaker 15: that kind of like this stuff and think it's fun.
- 41:41Speaker 2: You know, it can take you see why they want
- 41:43Speaker 2: it could take your content so you can use it
- 41:45Speaker 2: for remixes quote unquote and all these AI generated things.
- 41:49Speaker 2: What's interesting to me though, is like you know, we
- 41:51Speaker 2: uh in this industry, We have these meetings all the time.
- 41:54Speaker 2: Medicine and I were just talking about it about like
- 41:56Speaker 2: how you need to get permission or license something like
- 41:59Speaker 2: if you want to use an image or something that
- 42:01Speaker 2: somebody has a photo that somebody took and they have
- 42:03Speaker 2: it on their Instagram, So is it basically implied consent
- 42:07Speaker 2: if you don't opt out of it? In otherwise if
- 42:09Speaker 2: you don't, because if all you have to do is
- 42:11Speaker 2: just at somebody, and it could it's taking from that account,
- 42:14Speaker 2: Like images were using stuff that doesn't necessarily belong to
- 42:17Speaker 2: this person. I'm assuming it's implied consent. If you don't
- 42:21Speaker 2: opt out of it, that somebody just has to act
- 42:23Speaker 2: you and that's it.
- 42:24Speaker 5: That's all the Yeah, because of the fine lines that
- 42:27Speaker 5: no one reads.
- 42:27Speaker 15: Yeah, yeah, and they're saying look, because it's like meta.
- 42:31Speaker 15: When you upload your stuff to them, is basically saying, hey,
- 42:33Speaker 15: we own this. Now it's ours, and you know, we
- 42:36Speaker 15: can do as we like. And one of the things
- 42:38Speaker 15: we can do is whatever we come up with in
- 42:40Speaker 15: the future, we can modify and use your stuff. So
- 42:43Speaker 15: that I think is what they're doing here, which is
- 42:45Speaker 15: you know, again, for the average person that's doing this,
- 42:48Speaker 15: I think a lot of people will leave this on
- 42:49Speaker 15: because they won't even know that there's an option to
- 42:51Speaker 15: turn it off, and some people may not care. I
- 42:54Speaker 15: think people will find it fun to do this. You know,
- 42:55Speaker 15: if you're making a birthday graphic for your friend or
- 42:58Speaker 15: you're just putting your friend, you know, you want to
- 43:00Speaker 15: send your friend a silly picture until it's.
- 43:01Speaker 10: Not so well.
- 43:02Speaker 4: And I gotta say mine was obviously a joke and
- 43:05Speaker 4: it was whimsical and hilarious. But Rich just sent me
- 43:07Speaker 4: the one he did of us, and it looks incredibly good.
- 43:12Speaker 8: Yeah, and it didn't distort your face. Sometimes these things
- 43:16Speaker 8: make you look slightly different.
- 43:17Speaker 2: We're talking to Rich on tech. There's been a lot
- 43:20Speaker 2: of big stories. I know one that you know, Video
- 43:22Speaker 2: Game Day was was just here. We were talking about
- 43:25Speaker 2: video games in general. Grand Theft Autos coming out and everything.
- 43:28Speaker 2: PlayStation going all digital has been the big headline.
- 43:32Speaker 15: Yeah, So starting in January twenty twenty eight, Sony says
- 43:35Speaker 15: all new PlayStation games will be digital only at that time,
- 43:38Speaker 15: so no more physical.
- 43:40Speaker 2: Discs for new releases.
- 43:42Speaker 15: So until then, they will still come out with discs,
- 43:44Speaker 15: and they say, look, this is the changing times. Eighty
- 43:47Speaker 15: five percent of PlayStation game sales are already digital, so
- 43:51Speaker 15: we're just kind of moving this into that direction. I
- 43:54Speaker 15: think the main downside of this, obviously is ownership. We
- 43:58Speaker 15: all grew up in a time where you perch just
- 44:00Speaker 15: physical media. You collected it, you had it, you opened it,
- 44:04Speaker 15: you put it on yourselves, you traded it, you gave
- 44:06Speaker 15: it to your friends, you resold it when you were done.
- 44:08Speaker 15: All that is going out the window moving forward, because
- 44:11Speaker 15: we all know when you get something digital it is
- 44:13Speaker 15: not truly yours.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Ever again, well, I think they need to change the
- 44:17Speaker 2: name like this said, of buy or purchase, because you're
- 44:19Speaker 2: not buying your purchasing, you're you're releasing it. There was
- 44:22Speaker 2: just that big story about I forget what company did.
- 44:25Speaker 2: The rights ran out and so all these movies and
- 44:27Speaker 2: stuff disappeared off people's what's that off PlayStation?
- 44:30Speaker 13: I think it might have been, right, Yeah, I think
- 44:33Speaker 13: it was actually Sony.
- 44:33Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean like people had movies on the bot
- 44:36Speaker 2: movies through the PlayStation. Yeah, it's gone yeah, yeah, this
- 44:40Speaker 2: with the iTunes store and yeah, but stopped calling it
- 44:43Speaker 2: by Yeah. I don't think it's really buy. What else
- 44:45Speaker 2: is happening?
- 44:46Speaker 13: I thought this was pretty cool.
- 44:47Speaker 15: If you guys seen this slate EV truck, it's like
- 44:50Speaker 15: a little EV truck under twenty five grand. They came
- 44:53Speaker 15: out with the price tag. Finally, it looks like a
- 44:55Speaker 15: matchbox car that I played with as a kid.
- 44:57Speaker 2: But the whole, the whole thing is that this is.
- 45:01Speaker 15: A startup and they're hoping to come out with these
- 45:03Speaker 15: cars by the end of the year. And twenty four
- 45:06Speaker 15: nine and fifty dollars before taxes and fees and all
- 45:09Speaker 15: that good stuff, you get about two hundred miles of range.
- 45:12Speaker 15: But when you look inside this thing, it is basically
- 45:15Speaker 15: a stripped down car. No touchscreen, no built in stereo,
- 45:20Speaker 15: manual crank windows, physical knobs for all the climate controls,
- 45:24Speaker 15: and there's a phone mount.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Kind don't hate that.
- 45:28Speaker 13: It's actually kind of cool.
- 45:30Speaker 15: And I'm considering this because I love the idea that
- 45:33Speaker 15: you know, I'm a tech person through and through. But
- 45:35Speaker 15: when I sat inside this truck, it brought back like
- 45:38Speaker 15: memories of childhood where you had that one like weird
- 45:41Speaker 15: uncle that was like so proud of their bare bones truck.
- 45:44Speaker 15: You know, like there's nothing in this truck and you
- 45:46Speaker 15: know that. To me, that's what it brought back. And
- 45:49Speaker 15: I'm like, Okay, I could see myself on the weekends
- 45:51Speaker 15: just knocking around in this thing because it's so different
- 45:54Speaker 15: than you know, anything else that we have out there.
- 45:57Speaker 2: By the way, bring it to any Yeah.
- 45:58Speaker 5: Also, what's like about this What the big thing is
- 46:02Speaker 5: that it's insanely customizable, so you can customize it any
- 46:05Speaker 5: way you want, and like byparts off Amazon, because it
- 46:08Speaker 5: is backed by Amazon.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Okay, because I'm looking at it right now, I'm watching
- 46:12Speaker 2: a video of it. I mean it does have the
- 46:14Speaker 2: crank windows. Yeah, very very mental, although it doesn't it
- 46:17Speaker 2: doesn't look bad. It's kind of got like thee at
- 46:19Speaker 2: least the one he has on this kind of like
- 46:20Speaker 2: a satin satin finished paint job on it, so it
- 46:23Speaker 2: looks cool. It's not bad looking. So they're all wrapped,
- 46:27Speaker 2: that's the thing. So you can get they don't even
- 46:29Speaker 2: they all come in gray.
- 46:31Speaker 15: And then if you want to get you know, like
- 46:32Speaker 15: you said, there's like two hundred accessories you can get
- 46:35Speaker 15: at launch. You can make this thing an suv. You
- 46:38Speaker 15: can make it save a whole bunch of colors. Yeah,
- 46:40Speaker 15: there's a whole bunch of stuff. The thing is, I
- 46:43Speaker 15: customized it on the website, which you can do, by
- 46:45Speaker 15: the way, and it was like quickly up to like
- 46:48Speaker 15: thirty five grand when you had like some basic things.
- 46:50Speaker 2: But it'd be cool, like you know, if you've got
- 46:52Speaker 2: to buy a car for your kids or something like that,
- 46:55Speaker 2: something real basic. Is it fun to drive? Does it
- 46:57Speaker 2: have power? It does have power.
- 46:59Speaker 15: I did not get to I got to take a
- 47:01Speaker 15: ride in it, and it was super powerful, you know,
- 47:04Speaker 15: like any other EV.
- 47:05Speaker 13: It's got a lot of torque.
- 47:07Speaker 15: It was much roomier than I thought inside, but it
- 47:10Speaker 15: did look very stripped down.
- 47:12Speaker 2: Now here's the deal.
- 47:13Speaker 15: How many people are gonna buy it at that base
- 47:15Speaker 15: price tag without any customizations whatsoever.
- 47:18Speaker 2: I'm not sure. I'm sure some people will, but I
- 47:20Speaker 2: think most people are.
- 47:21Speaker 15: Probably gonna add a wrap, add some things like you know,
- 47:24Speaker 15: but you do get air conditioning and heat and all
- 47:26Speaker 15: that good stuff.
- 47:26Speaker 2: So that's that's good.
- 47:27Speaker 5: Now, rich did you see kind of in the same
- 47:29Speaker 5: realm in the past forty eight hours that they came
- 47:31Speaker 5: out with that Fiat in America? That's like four ten
- 47:34Speaker 5: thousand dollars, that's all.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Yes, Yeah, we're talking to rich on Tech Rich Demiro.
- 47:39Speaker 2: You can find them on social media at rich on Tech,
- 47:41Speaker 2: rich on tech dot tv. Sign up for that newsletter.
- 47:45Speaker 2: We're gonna take a quick break and then we'll come back.
- 47:47Speaker 2: We got one more round with rich on Tech. If
- 47:49Speaker 2: you got a question they'd like us to get to
- 47:51Speaker 2: for which you can hit us up on the text
- 47:54Speaker 2: you made it And just in time, the Woody Show
- 47:57Speaker 2: is back. So we're talk with rich on Tech Rich
- 48:02Speaker 2: Demiro at rich on Tech on Instagram. He is a
- 48:06Speaker 2: TV tech reporter. He's got a nationwide radio show syndicated
- 48:11Speaker 2: all over the place. Tons of stations the rich on
- 48:13Speaker 2: Tech Radio show. You can check out the podcast for that.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Wherever you find your favorite podcast, subscribe to the free
- 48:19Speaker 2: newsletter Rich's newsletter rich on Tech dot tv, which is
- 48:23Speaker 2: also where you can find all the links to things
- 48:25Speaker 2: that we talked about here during the segment on the
- 48:28Speaker 2: Woodie Show. I keep seeing headlines. There's a lot of leaks,
- 48:33Speaker 2: I guess or rumors. There's always leaks and rumors about
- 48:35Speaker 2: like the new iPhone stuff. The foldable is a foldable phone, Rich, Yeah,
- 48:41Speaker 2: we got so.
- 48:42Speaker 15: I'm actually like three big events coming up too. Are
- 48:46Speaker 15: confirmed Apple usually happens since September. Not confirmed, although if
- 48:51Speaker 15: you ask me, I kind of I kind of figure
- 48:53Speaker 15: out what date it is based on a lot of
- 48:55Speaker 15: different factors.
- 48:56Speaker 13: But a couple of things coming up.
- 48:57Speaker 15: So first off, a couple of weeks from now, July
- 49:01Speaker 15: twenty second in London, that is when Samsung is going
- 49:05Speaker 15: to launch their new foldable phones.
- 49:07Speaker 2: And yes, and the exciting about Okay, not at all,
- 49:12Speaker 2: but you know we've been doing this well.
- 49:14Speaker 15: The foldable that's interesting this year from them is a
- 49:19Speaker 15: they're supposedly coming out a wider design. So I've tested
- 49:22Speaker 15: a bunch of the foldables, and I don't really see
- 49:24Speaker 15: the point because when you open them up and you
- 49:26Speaker 15: watch a movie on there, it's kind of like in
- 49:28Speaker 15: the middle of the screen, it's the same size as
- 49:30Speaker 15: it would be on an iPhone.
- 49:31Speaker 2: And so now it is with a stupid line design.
- 49:34Speaker 15: Yeah, yeah, all right exactly, But this wider design, you
- 49:38Speaker 15: could theoretically open this thing up. It opens up way
- 49:41Speaker 15: wider to almost like a sixteen by nine screen inside,
- 49:44Speaker 15: and to me, that would be ideal for watching a movie,
- 49:48Speaker 15: which of course is the only reason why you'd spend
- 49:50Speaker 15: twenty five hundred dollars on a phone now rich.
- 49:52Speaker 5: With all these leagues, I don't know, dude, I'm actually
- 49:56Speaker 5: contemplating leaving Apple and going all in what on nothing
- 50:01Speaker 5: the nothing phones headphones, Oh my gosh, because I speaking
- 50:05Speaker 5: of London. I was in London and they actually had
- 50:06Speaker 5: a store, and I talked to them and they said
- 50:08Speaker 5: that they're actually going to be opening US stores pretty
- 50:11Speaker 5: soon and they're available in Best Buy. So it's very
- 50:15Speaker 5: like a minimalist phone called phones. Yeah, pretty much like
- 50:20Speaker 5: dumb phone. But they have like everything like Apple has,
- 50:22Speaker 5: like the big headphones, the earbuds and everything, but it's
- 50:26Speaker 5: half the price, and dude, it is pretty clean on
- 50:29Speaker 5: the sound and the way that the phones operate.
- 50:33Speaker 2: What about apps, it's like because you need apps for everything.
- 50:36Speaker 15: Yeah, but it's all Android, so and I will tell
- 50:40Speaker 15: you menace. My absolute favorite phone of the past year
- 50:45Speaker 15: has been the Nothing Phone, and I went to London
- 50:47Speaker 15: for the launch of that last year, the Nothing Phone three.
- 50:50Speaker 15: It's eight hundred dollars. But I'll tell you why I
- 50:52Speaker 15: can't use it as my daily driver. I love the software,
- 50:55Speaker 15: I love the hardware. The camera's pretty good. The processor.
- 51:00Speaker 15: We are so used to Apple's high end processors. It
- 51:03Speaker 15: does not use the highest end processor. And I know
- 51:05Speaker 15: this is get a little nerdy, but you know, for
- 51:07Speaker 15: me it makes a difference because you notice it's a
- 51:08Speaker 15: little bit stuttery on certain things. Also, there's no satellite messaging,
- 51:12Speaker 15: which to me, I've got to have starlink on my
- 51:14Speaker 15: phone at this point, so I need that. And the
- 51:18Speaker 15: camera in low light is just okay. I mean it's good,
- 51:21Speaker 15: but that's what Nothing is because he needs it for
- 51:23Speaker 15: all the video.
- 51:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:25Speaker 13: Yes, yeah, you're doing content creation too.
- 51:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 51:29Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 51:30Speaker 5: Maybe I'll just buy one and a half two at
- 51:31Speaker 5: the same time, and then figure it out because I
- 51:34Speaker 5: have two phone lines. That's how I text him the
- 51:36Speaker 5: show and talk crapaboutsy Beth.
- 51:38Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 51:38Speaker 2: Ye, I was gonna say, speaking of Apple you were
- 51:43Speaker 2: I saw you talking about, you know, testing the new
- 51:45Speaker 2: Serie AI, which you know, I don't know many people
- 51:49Speaker 2: that are fan of Siri, like kind of garbage used,
- 51:52Speaker 2: but you like it. I heard you saying that you
- 51:53Speaker 2: like it, okay when I tell you that.
- 51:56Speaker 15: So I've been testing the new beta iOS twenty seven
- 51:58Speaker 15: on my phone with the new series AI. I don't
- 52:01Speaker 15: recommend you install the beta. It's public. Beta's coming out
- 52:04Speaker 15: any day now. It's coming out in July. I'm on
- 52:06Speaker 15: the developer beta, which is great, but there are some issues.
- 52:09Speaker 15: But anyway, I've got the new Serie AI, and I'm
- 52:11Speaker 15: not kidding it is game changing. Think about it this way.
- 52:15Speaker 15: So Siri is now finally smart. It understands every single
- 52:18Speaker 15: thing you're asking it, So even if you don't say
- 52:21Speaker 15: it in like a certain way, it will still figure
- 52:22Speaker 15: it out. Number two, It's got all the world's information,
- 52:26Speaker 15: So just like chat GBT, you can ask it anything
- 52:28Speaker 15: you want about the world, about data, about information, more
- 52:32Speaker 15: so than just sports, scores and weather, but also it
- 52:35Speaker 15: can understand what's on your screen. So the other day
- 52:38Speaker 15: I was shopping at home depot. I wanted something for
- 52:40Speaker 15: my patio, and I was like, Hey, here's the size
- 52:42Speaker 15: of my patio. How many of these do I need
- 52:44Speaker 15: to order to fit my patio? Looked at my screen,
- 52:48Speaker 15: looked at the dimensions, and it figured all of that
- 52:50Speaker 15: out and it was wrong, but hey, it was I
- 52:54Speaker 15: ended up having to order one more.
- 52:56Speaker 2: That's pretty cool though.
- 52:57Speaker 15: But it's just gotten a lot better, and I think
- 53:00Speaker 15: people are gonna I mean I I do. I'm not
- 53:02Speaker 15: going to cry for chat cybt, but I think that
- 53:04Speaker 15: a lot of people are going to replace a lot
- 53:06Speaker 15: of the searches they do on chat ebt and just
- 53:08Speaker 15: use Siri on their phone because it's gotten that much better. Man.
- 53:11Speaker 2: I've heard so many people recently and I have not
- 53:13Speaker 2: checked it out. But the one that everybody I hear
- 53:16Speaker 2: talking about is Claude.
- 53:17Speaker 5: Yeah, that's the number one. Claude is Ethropic. Yeah, I'm
- 53:22Speaker 5: not messed with any of it's the best one.
- 53:25Speaker 2: It's a it's chat cept I'll mess with them. And
- 53:27Speaker 2: then the other one is Gemini.
- 53:29Speaker 15: I think it's debatable which one's the best because they
- 53:32Speaker 15: all do different things. They all do different things well,
- 53:36Speaker 15: and I use I use a combination of chat, CYBT, Gemini,
- 53:39Speaker 15: and Siri.
- 53:40Speaker 13: I I play with Claude.
- 53:41Speaker 15: But here's the thing this and this is the problem
- 53:43Speaker 15: with like everyone is getting so deep into AI. The
- 53:46Speaker 15: more you work with this particular chatbot, the more it
- 53:50Speaker 15: gets to know you, and so it's really tough to switch.
- 53:52Speaker 13: And these companies know that I turned.
- 53:54Speaker 2: All those settings off, just like that Instagram thing you
- 53:56Speaker 2: were talking about. I turned all the like the memorization
- 53:58Speaker 2: all that. I turned all that off. Time I go
- 54:00Speaker 2: in there for a thing, it's it's all brand new.
- 54:02Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll say this with CLO it has the most
- 54:05Speaker 5: current information, Like with chatb T. Like let's say we're
- 54:09Speaker 5: looking for like news and stuff, I'll give us like
- 54:11Speaker 5: all this old crap I'm telling like, I can get
- 54:14Speaker 5: like within the past hour of the most current information
- 54:18Speaker 5: of news and things.
- 54:19Speaker 2: You know what sucks the most about chat GPT. I
- 54:20Speaker 2: don't know if you agree with this, Rich, I mean,
- 54:22Speaker 2: like I don't need Reddit to be the number one
- 54:25Speaker 2: source for when I'm looking for information. It's like when
- 54:27Speaker 2: people used to quote Wikipedia.
- 54:29Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a lot of Facebook and Reddit.
- 54:30Speaker 2: Yeah, because it'll lists source. So now I go in there,
- 54:33Speaker 2: I go, hey, uh, not using Reddit as any type
- 54:36Speaker 2: of reference. Yeah, ask you know, find like to prompt
- 54:40Speaker 2: it that way, because like Reddit's garbage, Reddit has its
- 54:43Speaker 2: own AI. You can go to reddit dot com slash answers,
- 54:46Speaker 2: they have their own AI. Some people actually like Reddit
- 54:49Speaker 2: stuff because it based on actual factors, based on just
- 54:53Speaker 2: all these people who are on there with their opinions.
- 54:55Speaker 5: Well, no, it's not just that's in the comments section,
- 55:01Speaker 5: but like in the like they're sharing other information other
- 55:05Speaker 5: like web links to stories.
- 55:07Speaker 2: And sometimes it's a lot of like echo chamber stuff.
- 55:10Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 55:10Speaker 5: I mean, oh, if you go in the in the
- 55:12Speaker 5: fan spot, but I'm talking about going into like the
- 55:15Speaker 5: news feeds and stuff like that.
- 55:16Speaker 2: Just for Reddit.
- 55:17Speaker 15: I would just say that there's so many different communities
- 55:19Speaker 15: on Reddit where experts do kind of linger in those
- 55:22Speaker 15: places and share their knowledge.
- 55:24Speaker 2: So I do think that there is a benefit to that.
- 55:26Speaker 15: I do think that it's not always and no matter
- 55:29Speaker 15: where you're getting your information online, you should double check
- 55:31Speaker 15: and one person's opinion is not the end all.
- 55:34Speaker 2: Well, let's talk one more thing here. With Rich I
- 55:37Speaker 2: keep saying dumb phones. And I saw that scrap booking
- 55:41Speaker 2: is making a comeback. Sammy, I'm not sure if you're
- 55:43Speaker 2: a scrap booker. Yeah, you know, we talk about like
- 55:47Speaker 2: how all the analog stuff has become more popular, going
- 55:50Speaker 2: back to physical photographs instead of digital photographs. Well, how
- 55:53Speaker 2: about journaling? And I know that you have this one thing,
- 55:56Speaker 2: what is it called, It's called June or something. This
- 55:59Speaker 2: sounds excepting that, like you know, Gina or Sammy might
- 56:02Speaker 2: be in, sounds pretty hokey. Okay, I don't know.
- 56:04Speaker 13: You gotta you gotta tell me what you think.
- 56:06Speaker 15: Now, I'm not like a necessarily a journal guy, but
- 56:09Speaker 15: I see the I see the allure of you know,
- 56:12Speaker 15: for mental health, for just like logging and cataloging your
- 56:15Speaker 15: life and just kind of talking things out. There's many
- 56:19Speaker 15: benefits to journaling. And I've done enough stories on these
- 56:22Speaker 15: digital journals that you know, I sort of understand the
- 56:24Speaker 15: benefits to them. But the problem is you have to
- 56:27Speaker 15: keep one and sitting there writing something down every day.
- 56:29Speaker 15: A lot of people don't have time to do that,
- 56:31Speaker 15: or they don't want to, or they don't know where
- 56:33Speaker 15: to start.
- 56:33Speaker 13: So this journal it's called June AI. The website is
- 56:37Speaker 13: talk June dot com.
- 56:39Speaker 15: It calls you every night. I have mindset for seven
- 56:42Speaker 15: pm and then it asks you questions. And it's like
- 56:45Speaker 15: the best friend you've ever had, because not only does
- 56:48Speaker 15: it ask the best follow up questions, but it can
- 56:51Speaker 15: ask you a follow up question a week later or
- 56:54Speaker 15: six months later because it remembers everything that you tell it.
- 56:57Speaker 15: So it asks you a bunch of questions, Hey, how
- 56:59Speaker 15: did your day go, how did you feel about this?
- 57:01Speaker 15: What are you looking forward to this weekend?
- 57:02Speaker 2: Whatever?
- 57:03Speaker 15: And then it creates your journal entry for you, and
- 57:06Speaker 15: then the next time it calls you, it follows up
- 57:08Speaker 15: on all of those things and you have your journal.
- 57:11Speaker 4: Okay, that's pretty interesting. But Woodie, you tell me right
- 57:14Speaker 4: away why I'm out completely on this privacy, not.
- 57:17Speaker 2: That I don't know.
- 57:18Speaker 15: I know.
- 57:19Speaker 2: It's not talk on the phone, thank you.
- 57:21Speaker 4: I do not want to be called every night.
- 57:22Speaker 2: I shouldn't want to talk on the phone.
- 57:24Speaker 8: Sounds like something you would love, Greg, No way, because
- 57:26Speaker 8: when would anybody go back and read that.
- 57:30Speaker 2: I don't get Maybe I don't get journaling to begin
- 57:32Speaker 2: with that.
- 57:32Speaker 4: It's remembering what you said. So I'm going to ask
- 57:34Speaker 4: you questions later to keep going.
- 57:36Speaker 2: I want that.
- 57:36Speaker 5: I feel like you love talking to it.
- 57:40Speaker 13: Well, that's the thing I don't really understand about journaling,
- 57:43Speaker 13: Like who is this for?
- 57:44Speaker 15: Is it for me to just get my thoughts out
- 57:46Speaker 15: of my anger and whatever, my my my wins, my losses,
- 57:49Speaker 15: or is it like something I eventually leave my kids
- 57:52Speaker 15: and they open this thing up.
- 57:53Speaker 13: And then burning with my entire life journey, which I
- 57:56Speaker 13: don't know if they want.
- 57:57Speaker 2: That, you know, because if you're like a celebrity of
- 57:59Speaker 2: some kind, you know what I mean, Like you had
- 58:01Speaker 2: like some kind of like I'm saying, like an account
- 58:03Speaker 2: like oh hey, I wonder what's up with so and
- 58:05Speaker 2: so today? And they had an account where they just
- 58:07Speaker 2: took these things of this thing generated and just posted
- 58:09Speaker 2: it up there about here, here's what went on and
- 58:11Speaker 2: so and So's life today. But for other yeah, for
- 58:15Speaker 2: like other people, for like a more of a business
- 58:17Speaker 2: purpose than you know, you going back and checking it
- 58:20Speaker 2: out anyway. We got rich to me are rich on

- 59:44Speaker 5: And finally this morning.
- 59:45Speaker 11: You know, Connor McGregor is back in Octagon this weekend
- 59:47Speaker 11: fighting Holloway, and he switched up his training and focus
- 59:51Speaker 11: for the fight.
- 59:52Speaker 5: Listen up, I've practiced.
- 59:53Speaker 11: I'm staining also in this campas the first time I
- 59:55Speaker 11: have a do from any type of physical touch, if
- 59:57Speaker 11: you will.
- 59:58Speaker 5: That's been intense.
- 59:59Speaker 2: I'm excited see what.
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: It brings on Saturday night. Have a good night Saturday.
- 1:00:03Speaker 5: All across the ball.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: That's right, dude, because he's a.
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: He's like horn dog for sure.
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: He he has anything that walks.
- 1:00:12Speaker 5: He slid into at least two of my friends dms.
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: Yeah, so good luck with that, bro.
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: And by the way, does it really make a difference
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: for the fight? I mean, I don't know, but you
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: hear about that with baseball players.
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: I mean to me, if I'm humping, I'm more relaxed,
- 1:00:24Speaker 5: you know what I mean, and ready to go.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: You don't want to be relaxed.
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: Maybe you wanted all that aggressive.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: I don't know. Man.
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: Well, anyway, happy birthday to wish on a football energy.
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: Stephanie who listens every morning.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: I'm Jeff G.
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: And that's your so Cols for Jeff.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: So Menace. Netflix is doing a documentary kind of like
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: supersized Me, but about fried chicken.
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: Yeah handle, it don't need it.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: I remember one point Menace was saying that he was
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: eating healthy. Oh remember that he was on a healthcare
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: but it was all fried chickens, fried chicken place it is,
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: which was better than what he had been doing before.
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: I don't know, four later burgers and stuff like that.
- 1:01:11Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: Yeah, so they were doing a document I always forget
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: that Morgan's Furlock guy died. Yeah, super size.
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: Yeah, kind of a scam too.
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: He got all skinny and stuff.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: Well yeah, but it was skinny already.
- 1:01:24Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: But after supercise, they realized that all of his symptoms
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: were from alcohol and not from right.
- 1:01:28Speaker 15: He was.
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: Stuck on that losers like the.
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: Doctors like, I've never seen a liver like that except
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: for alcoholics.
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: Yeah, and that now I can't supersize anything because a
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: whole yeh, I just real quick, R I p to
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: heart attack grill.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: And it's been over six months now. Yeah, that wasn't
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: It was back and people were in there. I was
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: just there in March what not at the restaurant. But
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: I was walking down Freemont walk right past it, pointed
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: out to my buddy who had never seen it before.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: In March it was still going. Yeah, sad, there were
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: a ton of people, and there was a ton of
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: people in there. I don't know why I was surprised. Yeah,
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: May eighteenth.
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: Yeah, he was citing costs and corporate greed, the honor.
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: He was a character man.
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, he was super funny.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: Yeah. Uh, we get lyrics wrong from time to time,
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: misheard lyrics. What was the one, Greg you always point
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: out to? It was your friend, that was it? There
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: was well, mine was always little red Corvette and I
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: thought it was little Babe, come on back?
- 1:02:38Speaker 13: Really yeah?
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: And then uh, there was another example, maybe somebody else
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: in there. I forget who it was.
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: What was it?
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: Anyway, you sing a song for a ton of like
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: a big, huge, popular song, and you have it wrong
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: the entire time, and you have no idea, You have
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: no idea. Apparently we have been singing a line from
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Guns and Roses Welcome to the Jungle wrong this entire time. Him,
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: really yeah, and never realized it. So here we go. Okay,
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: what's the next line?
- 1:03:10Speaker 5: Come down, down, so down.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: But the lyrics are actually suck down, suck down, suck
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: down slash. His girlfriend posted a photo of him standing,
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: you know, by the teleprompter that shows the lyrics while
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: they're on stage and stuff, and that's those are the
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: actual lyrics. And if you listen carefully, sucked down, what
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: does it mean? We've been we've been saying it wrong
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: this entire time.
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: Okay, but why yeah, sucking down?
- 1:03:50Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: They wrote the song talk to high You're a suck at?
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: Was that, mister Brownstone? That's also true?
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: Well, I know a lot of straight guys get high
- 1:04:03Speaker 5: and then start sucking down.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: He won't leave me lone. That's that's what it's, mister Brownstone. Right,
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: what could be? They could have two heroines songs? Don't anyway,
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: We've we've got it wrong. Eight seven seven forty four
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: Wooding text us over to two two nine eight seven
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: more Woody Shows next, the Woodie Shows. Right after these
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: messages I had and coach zer up before higher It's
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: like Russian roulette. Yeah, it's both with Jiz giz exactly
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: what's so sick? The Woody show Man. We get into
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: another new out. It's The Woodie Show Woodie Greg Menace Yeah,
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: we got Gina Gras. Yeah, they're sea masks and he's
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: gonna tell us what he's got for us.
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: The Weekend Audio a little round of whose side are
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: you on? This is a video going around this week
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: where a a lady and her friends they sat down
- 1:05:02Speaker 6: for emil at Texas.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: Roadhouse, the Bad my dad's favorite place.
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: Its great, and something happened to her that happened to
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: me a while back. I'll remind you guys in a
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: minute where they were having a conversation like, hey, we
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: were just out of the pool and blah blah blah
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: blah blah, and we had some drinks and that alerted
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: the server who went to go talk to a manager
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: who came to ask them about their drinks and whether
- 1:05:22Speaker 6: they should be ordering more drinks because they wanted to
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: have drinks at the Texas Roadhouse.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: Now they cut them off like they were maybe too
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: intoxicated already.
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: Potentially they were curious about that, okay, And that's what
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: these ladies did not like that question whatsoever, because she worked.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: Well, why would she be coming over grown as adults
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: about what they had a full friday thrown just because they.
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: Were not uber were not was she was the manager.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: Mom over here. Yeah, yes, anywhere you're going off with pias.
- 1:06:10Speaker 16: We got.
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: And so yes, they know anybody who's worked in a
- 1:06:21Speaker 6: restaurant they do this like serve say for whatever training
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: where you can't you know, because if if you do
- 1:06:25Speaker 6: get somebody loaded and they leave because people have turned
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: around you exactly. The restaurants don't want to do it.
- 1:06:30Speaker 6: They want to get you drunk as hell.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: They don't care.
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: But because like what he said, they get sued.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: Now this happens. So maybe if people like you guys
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: would stop trying to cause trouble with every little thing.
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: And by the way, the response to this is not oh,
- 1:06:41Speaker 6: you're going on TikTok, you're going on YouTube.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: Yeah, because you know, you threaten stuff like that. That's
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: why these policies are in place, because you're the kind
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: of person, if you did get over served, is going
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: to turn around and making an issue. You're the kind
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: of person who when they don't get there what they
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: want is going to try to burn the place down
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: through posting videos online. Right the second you're comes out
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: and okay, now this happened, got through everything against the
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: wall happened to me. Yeah, exactly. Well that too, and
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: it stopped.
- 1:07:07Speaker 6: He lose the high ground once you start throwing out
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: those two things, I'm gonna put you on YouTube, your
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: racial profile. That this happened to me, I was with
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: my then girlfriend. We were getting racial profiled, yepies. We
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: had a couple of drinks and we sat down at
- 1:07:22Speaker 6: the bar at the movie theater. And again, we both
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: adults in our thirties at the time, we weren't I
- 1:07:27Speaker 6: can promise you we weren't hammerd we weren't making noise.
- 1:07:30Speaker 6: It's just me and a lady. And the guy overheard
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: that we talked about like something we'd had earlier, and
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: he's and he would not serve us before going in
- 1:07:38Speaker 6: the movie theater because he said, it's some teenage idiot.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: Yeah, yell, yell, get lit.
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: Okay, you recall I went next door to the Buffalo
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: Wild Wings, got a yard full of beer pants like
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: in front of the.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: I guess what.
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: We sat and enjoyed the movie with the ladies. Well
- 1:07:56Speaker 6: I did, until you can you again, you lose the
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: high ground when you while talking about YouTube and.
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: Uber and yeah, there's a lot of things I wish
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: weren't the way that they are, but they are because
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: people are a holes.
- 1:08:07Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, here's a proper response. If I'm the ladies, Hey,
- 1:08:10Speaker 6: I know you're just doing your job, no problem, I
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: get it. But when you start getting offended and raising
- 1:08:15Speaker 6: your voice and causing a scene, you're in.
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: The rat does no fun.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: This week in audio, all right, who side are you on? Here?
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: To lesbians? Greg Nice, They are on their side. And
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: then I'm just.
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: Gonna say this because you brought it up. They're not
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: super hot lesbian.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: Okay, I'm keeping an open mind.
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: They're in the mall and something we don't As with
- 1:08:35Speaker 6: all these things, we never have the initial problem, we
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: have the aftermath. They were taking photos or doing something
- 1:08:40Speaker 6: where the mall security didn't like it, so he asked
- 1:08:43Speaker 6: them to leave and stop taking photos. And then he
- 1:08:45Speaker 6: notices that as they're outside, they're videoing the confrontation and
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: it goes like.
- 1:08:51Speaker 10: This, I'm telling you, I'm telling you not to do it,
- 1:09:07Speaker 10: and you guys are I'm telling you not to do it.
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: These he goes for their camera.
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: That was man, women are so emotional, you know, yeah,
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: they just.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: Handle gets a keeper clip right there. What big secrets
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: are at the mall? That you're afraid that they're going
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: to capture on film.
- 1:09:37Speaker 6: Right, and he they weren't breaking any kind And then,
- 1:09:39Speaker 6: by the way, the security guard has been fired, and
- 1:09:41Speaker 6: I don't think there's any he doesn't have a leg
- 1:09:43Speaker 6: to stand a job either.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: Like, yeah, they weren't.
- 1:09:46Speaker 6: They were making out and like putting their hands down
- 1:09:48Speaker 6: each other's pants.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: That's the first problem kids at home. That's so.
- 1:09:56Speaker 6: Yeah, I think it's pretty clear that the security guard
- 1:09:57Speaker 6: was the man that fall there.
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: On the lesbians. All right.
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: This week in audio speaking, we got good freak out
- 1:10:02Speaker 6: audio from the the A fan of the World Cup
- 1:10:06Speaker 6: is a Mexico fans. They're getting that they're about to
- 1:10:07Speaker 6: you know, they're losing to England, and a lot of.
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: These can be staged.
- 1:10:11Speaker 6: I don't think this one was because you could tell
- 1:10:14Speaker 6: this is like the uncle that's a maniac and they're
- 1:10:16Speaker 6: kind of standing to the side and behind him. So
- 1:10:18Speaker 6: Mexico is losing. He's standing on just standing there and uh,
- 1:10:22Speaker 6: I saw this video feeling the pain. Yeah, I'm with you,
- 1:10:24Speaker 6: because a lot of those, like where you see they
- 1:10:26Speaker 6: destroy the TV immedia. Yeah, someone sitting there with a
- 1:10:29Speaker 6: camera right in their face, you know, what's going on?
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: Yeah, this one was just like all right man, and.
- 1:10:34Speaker 6: No one can SPADs this well if you can on
- 1:10:37Speaker 6: cute last and Sea Bass the first one to try
- 1:10:40Speaker 6: to stiff out some kind of stage. That's what I
- 1:10:42Speaker 6: love about AI because I'll pluck every every single video
- 1:10:44Speaker 6: clip I get.
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: I say, hey, is this stager and they'll and I'll
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: say no, this was on the news and the bit right, Yeah,
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: this one. When I saw it, I didn't do what
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: he did, and you know, go through AI, but it
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: feels very real. This guy's losing it, his legs get weak,
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: they bring him down the floor. They're voting on each arm.
- 1:11:16Speaker 11: Yeah, it's like a guy at a grave side almost
- 1:11:19Speaker 11: like yes, I can save some gas.
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: In the tank for like when your wife dies.
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right, because I said so. Damn this Weekend audio.
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: Oh this is a kid.
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: I didn't know they had these and it's kind of
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: sad but kind of cool at the same time. They
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: have a sports broadcasting like summer camp. Oh oh I
- 1:11:42Speaker 6: know this kid.
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: Yes, this reminds me of Tyler. How you're Reskin Tyler
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: and he had this Rainman type memory of all these
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: different uh, you know, we asked my WrestleMania, we got
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: Undertaker to.
- 1:11:56Speaker 6: So this is, yeah, this kid's like maybe thirteen or something,
- 1:11:58Speaker 6: and he has, you know, a condition of some sort,
- 1:12:00Speaker 6: but a good condition. Phillip's remember every single team's record
- 1:12:05Speaker 6: since two thousand and nine. So you give em every
- 1:12:07Speaker 6: NFL teams, you give him like the twenty fourteen Bengals,
- 1:12:11Speaker 6: and he'll say week one did and so and so
- 1:12:15Speaker 6: in front of the whole camp. They had him turn around.
- 1:12:16Speaker 6: They just pulled up a random team, you know, shout
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: out a name, shout out of team the.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: Raiders for this one.
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: And so they just start running through weeks and the
- 1:12:23Speaker 6: kid does.
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: This Detexans.
- 1:12:28Speaker 9: Week three Okay, no, no, I'm not forget and I
- 1:12:32Speaker 9: just need to remind myself.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: And he went through the whole schedule. He got I
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: just gotta he has the perfect voice, dude, I mean like,
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: oh yeah, he sounds like sounds like a lover. Yeah.
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: The best part was when he got to week five
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: and he's like, oh, they had to.
- 1:12:53Speaker 5: Buy you here.
- 1:12:58Speaker 14: Week three, Okay, pull up, give me.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: No, No, I'm not forgetting.
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: I just need to remind myself.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: Yeah, he just keeps going.
- 1:13:27Speaker 5: That was pretty easy. It's the Raiders.
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: Of course they're losing every at menace for all your
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: Raiders fans.
- 1:13:33Speaker 6: Raiders being said, I don't know how he's gonna beat
- 1:13:36Speaker 6: off all the girls for the next for his entire life,
- 1:13:39Speaker 6: get used to be.
- 1:13:43Speaker 13: Can we have this?
- 1:13:43Speaker 6: This is can we just can we pre sign him
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: up for love on the spectrum?
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: Just him because he's not gonna get any Yeah, this kid, dude,
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: he was killing him man, And that would have been
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: a fun I thought that would have been a fun
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: camp to go to.
- 1:13:55Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: I mean my dad was in that business and if
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: there was a camp he could have gone to as
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: a child, he would have loved it.
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: Aren't you.
- 1:14:00Speaker 6: Aren't you pre selecting your kid to be a loser
- 1:14:02Speaker 6: because every other kid go into basketball camp or football
- 1:14:04Speaker 6: camp or.
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: No, that's fun sports, like other kids are gonna think
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: that's fun. And I don't think you'd get ostracized for that.
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: I don't think you get beat up for going to
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: where Jana sent her steps on last Summer Time, the
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: musical theater camp I tried the whole time.
- 1:14:21Speaker 8: When you really think about it, you have a better
- 1:14:23Speaker 8: chance of making it as a sportscaster than you do
- 1:14:25Speaker 8: as an athlete, so.
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: There's not that many sports.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: That's true the show, and we'll go right back to
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: Sea Bass, who continues on with Today.
- 1:14:35Speaker 6: In Audio with a menace submission. Here he found an
- 1:14:39Speaker 6: inside edition, which we do enjoy inside editions. I found
- 1:14:42Speaker 6: a story they did about some actual some other radio
- 1:14:45Speaker 6: people and a stunt that is getting them is some
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: national attention. Uh huh. Here they are telling you all
- 1:14:53Speaker 6: about it.
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: This woman is.
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: Wearing her wedding dress to work and she says, for
- 1:14:57Speaker 4: good reason, she wants Taylors to finally release a photo
- 1:15:02Speaker 4: of her wedding gown.
- 1:15:03Speaker 14: Do you think we're going to get a photo of it?
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: I mean yes, but what I.
- 1:15:07Speaker 17: Thought for sure it was going to be earlier this
- 1:15:09Speaker 17: week and we still haven't seen it.
- 1:15:10Speaker 14: So when is she going to drop the photo?
- 1:15:12Speaker 13: We're ready for it.
- 1:15:13Speaker 9: J Loo was there.
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: Anna Zapp post of the radio show Anna and Raven
- 1:15:16Speaker 4: and Milford, Connecticut, made a video asking other women to
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: join her in the playful protest.
- 1:15:22Speaker 7: In honor of Taylor Swift getting married and we still
- 1:15:24Speaker 7: haven't seen her dress.
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: Post a picture of your wedding dress. Here we go.
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: I don't hate it, you know, what it's getting them
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: attention exactly right, and it's not.
- 1:15:33Speaker 6: Like I know, it's not in our realm. But can
- 1:15:37Speaker 6: you imagine Number one? Okay, I get it if you're
- 1:15:39Speaker 6: a seventy five year old soccer mom station, I get it.
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: That makes sense.
- 1:15:42Speaker 6: But can you imagine if you're Inside Edition. Well let's
- 1:15:45Speaker 6: go up to Milford, Connecticut.
- 1:15:46Speaker 5: We got to show this.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: So I guess it's her wedding dress. So I guess
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: that's more of a statement on Inside Edition than it
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: is this radio show. I don't hate it. I'm for them.
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: I'm sure they're like some kind of mom you know,
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: mom station.
- 1:15:57Speaker 5: I'm sure everybody in the town is talking about it.
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:16:01Speaker 6: Yeah, you can hear them on do you hear them
- 1:16:03Speaker 6: on the ninety three to five? The bubble is what
- 1:16:06Speaker 6: it's called the bubble of the dude. Look, they are
- 1:16:08Speaker 6: on probably fifty stations. Okay, this morning show, This morning show,
- 1:16:13Speaker 6: that that where the big thing is.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: When Ravenna and what he would know? He knows all
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: these people, I don't. I don't know them.
- 1:16:20Speaker 6: I think I think all the all the people were
- 1:16:21Speaker 6: firing getting replaced by Anna and what's his face?
- 1:16:23Speaker 5: Anna? And Raven because I thought they were based out
- 1:16:26Speaker 5: of somewhere else.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: But I'm not.
- 1:16:27Speaker 6: I'm not hating on them. I'm not hating on that
- 1:16:30Speaker 6: an idea for what they what they do, yeah, makes
- 1:16:33Speaker 6: make zero sense. But anyways, Unfortunately Woody, some people were
- 1:16:36Speaker 6: hating on them. The next day, Anna and Raven went
- 1:16:39Speaker 6: to the inside Edish in Instagram post and read some
- 1:16:43Speaker 6: of the mean comments.
- 1:16:44Speaker 17: Oh no, these extremely parasocial delusions need to be studied.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm a parasocial you can't say. In my opinion,
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: she's just dragging about the fact that she could still fit.
- 1:16:56Speaker 5: In that dress. Okay, so what's the what's the problem
- 1:16:58Speaker 5: with that?
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: That's also true? Yeah, no, check it out, It's still
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: fit my wedding dress. They were very being sickly skinny. Wow, cool,
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: thank you.
- 1:17:07Speaker 6: Also, they see I'm going through and I'm seeing stuff
- 1:17:10Speaker 6: like this dried up old coups needs to hang it up.
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: Here. And much like much like politics, just saying Taylor
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: Swift or Travis Kelsey's name triggers people into anger and
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: because they're burned out on it or they hate the
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: fact that they're popular. You know what's weird. I don't
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: care about Taylor Swift or Travis Kelce really at all.
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: Travis Kelts is a great player. I do enjoy watching
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: you know, uh you know the Chiefs. I like Patrick Mahomes,
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: I like Kelsey. They're an exciting, you know, team to
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: watch or whatever I'm saying. But like Taylor Swift, I
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: hate to admit so many catchy songs like it is
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: the overexposure becomes annoying. But I think what they have
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: is real, and I think they're truly I think I
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: think they're truly happy. It's so good for them.
- 1:17:56Speaker 6: Will you wear your tug your wedding tux?
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: Since I don't, I don't care that way. But I
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: think it's weird. I think it's weird that people get
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: so upset just by the sheer mention of them.
- 1:18:06Speaker 4: Here's are obsessed on both sides.
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: To you know, be upset about you know, this show
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: doing the wedding dress thing or here, or to be
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: so triggered to leave a comment on a post about it.
- 1:18:17Speaker 6: Not triggered, but just this one says, did she knock
- 1:18:19Speaker 6: the mothballs out of that thing? I'm not talking about
- 1:18:21Speaker 6: the wedding dress. I'm talking about from between her legs.
- 1:18:25Speaker 6: I mean she has an old gross lady, but.
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: Not very feminist.
- 1:18:29Speaker 6: Why are you paying?
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: Are you picking a fight and choosing violence with the show.
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: We don't even know, We don't know them, never heard
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: of them at all. It's not a bad idea.
- 1:18:36Speaker 6: Again and again for a little behind the scenes radio,
- 1:18:39Speaker 6: Like every day after the show, these stay after these
- 1:18:42Speaker 6: people will get together and say, hey.
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: What can we do?
- 1:18:44Speaker 6: What's okay Travison biggest story in our world?
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: And what can we do?
- 1:18:48Speaker 5: How can we make it about us?
- 1:18:50Speaker 6: Well, yeah they have Well they haven't released our wedding
- 1:18:52Speaker 6: dress photo in three days yet, So these.
- 1:18:54Speaker 5: People actually had an idea that got them attention. Like
- 1:18:57Speaker 5: you said, every day people try to do that here and.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: That's literally your job, yeah, is to go out and
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: do these things. Gathering the juggalos, cart narts.
- 1:19:05Speaker 6: Right, I think those are I think those are more
- 1:19:07Speaker 6: interesting and organic because those.
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: Come from our audience for their audience. This is absolutely
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: right down.
- 1:19:13Speaker 7: You know, many women have held onto their wedding dress
- 1:19:16Speaker 7: even though that they're not ever going to wear it again,
- 1:19:18Speaker 7: but would be dying for an excuse to do it
- 1:19:20Speaker 7: and then jump on this training exactly all do it
- 1:19:23Speaker 7: because we all want to wear wedding dresses.
- 1:19:25Speaker 6: Anyway, this is a narcissism train. This is the same
- 1:19:28Speaker 6: problem I had back.
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: No, No, it's that the audience will No, that is.
- 1:19:32Speaker 6: That's just you saying that I'm providing evidence. This is
- 1:19:35Speaker 6: someone this They said, Hey, you're not a narcissist.
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: No, yeah, it's not.
- 1:19:39Speaker 6: It's not deflect No, I'm just asking the question. No,
- 1:19:41Speaker 6: go go, we've gone We've gone through this exercise before.
- 1:19:44Speaker 6: I didn't have any of the classical traits. Uh, but
- 1:19:46Speaker 6: this is But what Sammy just nailed it on the head.
- 1:19:49Speaker 6: This is big news story. How can we make it
- 1:19:51Speaker 6: about us? What Trementa said? And how can we how
- 1:19:53Speaker 6: can we help other people make it about them? So
- 1:19:56Speaker 6: that's what I'm talking about.
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: And there's the overarching point that we as American citizens
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: have the right to see this photo. That's the point.
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: She deserves to see it, We all deserve. Where is
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: the photo? We have to see it?
- 1:20:15Speaker 6: Well, even her and her like her telling of her
- 1:20:18Speaker 6: reason for it, like she didn't believe what she was saying. Yeah,
- 1:20:20Speaker 6: yeah she was just this is the excuse we made up.
- 1:20:23Speaker 6: Thanks for coming well, but again big success for them.
- 1:20:25Speaker 6: Anna and Raven check it out. I've never I've never.
- 1:20:28Speaker 6: I got to write that down, Anna, and like, that's
- 1:20:30Speaker 6: so raven kind of thing. You know, if we can
- 1:20:32Speaker 6: steal there, and we can steal one of their sentiments.
- 1:20:35Speaker 6: They have couples Court where couples send in their disagreements.
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: Let's do that, dude. I don't I don't hate that idea.
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: That sounds like a good idea. The calls are real
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: too well whatever, it sounds a good idea. Premise, it
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: sounds like a good idea. The premise of is good.
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: I don't know how they execute it. I don't know.
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: I've never heard of them until today.
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: We can't make this clearer.
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: I just don't know why you're picking a fight with
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: this soccer moms. This to me for a reason.
- 1:21:01Speaker 6: Yeah, because he wanted to cover it. He wants to
- 1:21:03Speaker 6: start the.
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: Radio war we're starting.
- 1:21:07Speaker 6: We're picking out the little kids or the old kids
- 1:21:09Speaker 6: in school.
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: I guess all right.
- 1:21:11Speaker 6: This weekend audio, uh speaking of old people, great old
- 1:21:14Speaker 6: people audio from CBS twelve South Florida.
- 1:21:18Speaker 14: Uh.
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: This this one pretty much tells itself.
- 1:21:20Speaker 16: And I'm gonna do every reason I can not do die.
- 1:21:23Speaker 14: James Grayson mcmickon says it was just a routine Friday night,
- 1:21:27Speaker 14: grabbed his fishing pole and made one cast into the
- 1:21:30Speaker 14: canal behind his North Fort Myers.
- 1:21:32Speaker 16: Home restored room, and it jumped out of the water
- 1:21:34Speaker 16: and grabbed me.
- 1:21:35Speaker 14: Grayson says. The gator clamped down on his right leg,
- 1:21:38Speaker 14: pulled him into the water.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: He rolled me down off the bank into the water.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: I shut my thumb in one eye, and I just
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: took that fishing pole and gabbed him in that other
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: eye and jabbed him and jabbed him and jabbed him.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: It am like for everbody. It wasn't that long.
- 1:21:54Speaker 16: I've always heard that if you got no other choice,
- 1:21:57Speaker 16: you get them eyes.
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: Well, we were supposed to put our thumbs in dog's butts, Yeah, finger,
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: did you try the butt? Stop fighting? Yeah, you're supposed
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: to put our thumbs into the eyes of gas sharks
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: of her You can't.
- 1:22:11Speaker 6: You can't get to a gators butt. But their eyes
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: are right there.
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: Yeah, there is the gators butt. Is it on the
- 1:22:16Speaker 4: back on the underside?
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: Imagine?
- 1:22:18Speaker 6: Probably cloaka, probably.
- 1:22:20Speaker 8: That's it's one of those cloak That's what chickens have
- 1:22:24Speaker 8: or birds heard them before. New word you've had. We've
- 1:22:28Speaker 8: talked about every.
- 1:22:31Speaker 6: You've been to middle you went to middle school biology,
- 1:22:33Speaker 6: that's he that's all. No, we don't remember learning about
- 1:22:37Speaker 6: the kloacae. That's always.
- 1:22:40Speaker 8: I'm just we're learning about Anna and Raven and Cloaca,
- 1:22:45Speaker 8: so many new things. I saw this great video the
- 1:22:48Speaker 8: other day. A guy was in Florida standing next to
- 1:22:50Speaker 8: like a pond, and he says, people often ask me,
- 1:22:52Speaker 8: how can you tell what waters have a gator in Florida?
- 1:22:56Speaker 8: What you do is you lean down and you tap
- 1:22:58Speaker 8: the top of the surface and if if it's wet.
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: It's got Yeah. No, kid, I won't step through a
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: puddle in Florida swimming. I just assume there's a gator
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: in there. Show. Yeah, let's wrap up going back to
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: sea Bass.
- 1:23:12Speaker 6: Here this week in audio, you have more old people
- 1:23:15Speaker 6: being adorable and also from Inside Edition they love visiting
- 1:23:19Speaker 6: old late old people birthday parties, Old old people birthday parties.
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: The best audio from old people birthday party exactly.
- 1:23:27Speaker 6: Miss Normous Swan, Wisconsin turning one hundred and one, so
- 1:23:31Speaker 6: of course she had one hundred and one Dalmations theme
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: party donations and I know it's greg you want to
- 1:23:37Speaker 6: know how do I get to be one hundred one?
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: What's your secret? I don't like the answer, all right,
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: So what's her secret to longevity?
- 1:23:44Speaker 4: Exercise? Don't don't sit around.
- 1:23:48Speaker 5: I never sat still never when I was I was
- 1:23:52Speaker 5: always busy doing something and a lot of work outside
- 1:23:56Speaker 5: I think fresh air.
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: Gud sean, I mean greg outside exercise, workout, exercise traditionally
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: not so much.
- 1:24:05Speaker 10: What was you?
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: Have you ever think I thought about a like a
- 1:24:07Speaker 6: mini farm, a hobby farm whatever they call it, like
- 1:24:10Speaker 6: like two acres.
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: You know, you get little corn, a little bit chicken
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: corn in her backyard that it's looking good. Yeah, it's
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: getting pretty tall corn. Yeah, in her backyard. So guess
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: up against the fence.
- 1:24:25Speaker 6: While we're talking farming this week on a whim ordered
- 1:24:29Speaker 6: a dwarf Cavendish banana plants, so like about four feet
- 1:24:34Speaker 6: tall and like pre grown. So these little banana plants
- 1:24:36Speaker 6: they only rode about six eight feet and they give
- 1:24:38Speaker 6: you real bananaes.
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: And you think we'll see best.
- 1:24:41Speaker 6: You live in an apartment, you really on the place.
- 1:24:42Speaker 6: I'm I'm gonna go find up. I've got some spots,
- 1:24:46Speaker 6: I've eyed out some spots.
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: I'm going to this thing or the project.
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, and just like put up in tend to
- 1:24:55Speaker 6: my little like fake community garden in the space that's
- 1:24:58Speaker 6: not yours. Well, trust me they no one's keept taking
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: care of this space. It's it's one of those it's
- 1:25:04Speaker 6: not it's not private property, it's city area, but it's
- 1:25:07Speaker 6: it's fully like they don't get.
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: Let me ask a question, Like somebody puts a sign
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: up for their business on a public sidewalk. Sure, yeah,
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: you will. You will cut that down and remove it.
- 1:25:17Speaker 6: And I think that's pretty equivalent to a plant.
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. But like, but you're putting
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: your own personal thing, you know, you're putting your own
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: personal things somewhere that is not This is a man
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: who's a master of analogies. I think it's a fair question. Greg,
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: would you think that's a fair question.
- 1:25:30Speaker 4: Okay, that's something in space that isn't yours.
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: I agree that he's the king of bad analogy. Yes,
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: but this I see. So this is where he's splitting hair.
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: It's not your but.
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: Here's there's nature in nature. Here's the major gigantic difference.
- 1:25:48Speaker 6: Why this is a terrible analogy. They by putting up
- 1:25:51Speaker 6: their psychic sign and chaining it to whatever a tree
- 1:25:55Speaker 6: they are de beautifying the area. Again, I'm not talking
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: about somebody in someplace that's perfectly lands. Just plant looks
- 1:26:01Speaker 6: like what's it called dwarf cavendish banana. It's a it's
- 1:26:04Speaker 6: like this big tropical looking thing I am putting again,
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: like Mena said, nature, nature, And again the places I'm
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: looking at are disgusting and unkempt.
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: To begin with, Are there any existing plum trees on
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: this lot?
- 1:26:17Speaker 15: So?
- 1:26:17Speaker 4: Yeah, so now it'll be disgusting with I am beautifying
- 1:26:20Speaker 4: and the area.
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: So I'm doing the exact opposite of what you're talking about.
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: Okay, thank you.
- 1:26:26Speaker 13: Sure?
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: Is it a nice looking tree?
- 1:26:29Speaker 4: It looks like walking around Florida basically like big banana
- 1:26:32Speaker 4: leaves bananas.
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: In the middle of like a dwarf a lot only grows,
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: like I said, six eight feet max.
- 1:26:38Speaker 5: Because on a kind of the yeah no, no, see that.
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: Yeah, Ill we'll follow along.
- 1:26:44Speaker 6: With my little horticultural experiment.
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: I kind of want one now.
- 1:26:47Speaker 6: And by the way, speaking of letting out things into
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: the wild, if there are certain neighborhoods in America that
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: I'm doing carton Arcs. I've seen it all over the
- 1:26:55Speaker 6: place where there's wild chickens. I mean, forget Hawaii, they're
- 1:26:58Speaker 6: everywhere in Hawaii. But like Austin has, I think I
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: might do that with chickens, I was like, Oh, just
- 1:27:02Speaker 6: let them go.
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: Free, let them free feed the local coyotes. Hundred one
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: year old.
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: It's kind of bad when as one hundred one, she's
- 1:27:09Speaker 6: sounded pretty decent. There when your son sounds worse than
- 1:27:12Speaker 6: you do.
- 1:27:12Speaker 14: My mother knows how to take in negative and it.
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: Comes out as positive. Wow, teeth, it's probably eighty right.
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: It sucks when she still can't get away from being
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: the tooth fairy. Right, you're one hundred years old and
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: you still got to play the tooth fairy. Her son
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: showed up to her Dalmatians. He's wearing a white wife
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: beater with black painted on spots. He looks like he's.
- 1:27:38Speaker 6: Seventy five pounds every weight. This week in audio, Well,
- 1:27:41Speaker 6: let's get some real life advice. When you do you
- 1:27:43Speaker 6: need that, you go to thirteen year old boys. Of course,
- 1:27:45Speaker 6: here is a little guessing game. If you haven't seen
- 1:27:48Speaker 6: this yet, thirteen year old boy almost lost his life
- 1:27:52Speaker 6: and this is what he.
- 1:27:52Speaker 9: Learned, anything can happen at any moment. You just gotta
- 1:27:56Speaker 9: you gotta like be ready for it. You've gotta be
- 1:27:59Speaker 9: nice to everybody. You know. It can end whenever you
- 1:28:01Speaker 9: It can end whenever you want.
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: Man, it can end whenever you want. I mean, if
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: we knew that, whenever you want to off the bridge
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: or something, you know.
- 1:28:09Speaker 6: I think what he meant was they could end at
- 1:28:10Speaker 6: any time. Yeah, be a good person. This is from
- 1:28:13Speaker 6: KPRC too.
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: So what are we guessing? What happened to him? How
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: did he almost diet? I got hit by a car
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: on his bike. That's good one.
- 1:28:19Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, let's go lightning.
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: Maybe his maybe his mom gave him money too early.
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that'll do it. Or peanuts? Yeah, animal attack?
- 1:28:28Speaker 6: Yeah, woman, Gina, Now that's here's what happened. Really, Okay, congratulations.
- 1:28:34Speaker 7: Gain, The thirteen year old says, the shock from the
- 1:28:37Speaker 7: lightning struck him in the abdomen.
- 1:28:39Speaker 9: I just like jumped out really fast, and I just like,
- 1:28:42Speaker 9: I don't know, I started screaming. I don't know.
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: It was crazy.
- 1:28:45Speaker 6: But actually he was playing he was indoors playing video games.
- 1:28:47Speaker 6: I guess you didn't have a protect Wait.
- 1:28:49Speaker 4: Wait, wait, wait, wait, that really makes the difference the
- 1:28:52Speaker 4: search protector.
- 1:28:53Speaker 6: Oh yes, yes, because it basically's exactly what it does,
- 1:28:56Speaker 6: is it. It fries the it fries at the protection point.
- 1:28:59Speaker 6: It flies that like the power strip, but it'll fry that.
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: That was just whatever, I mean, I have one. I
- 1:29:05Speaker 6: thought it was just so you could have more outlets
- 1:29:06Speaker 6: in one place. Well, there are power strips that don't
- 1:29:09Speaker 6: have the search protection like the real basic one idea
- 1:29:12Speaker 6: fries the search protector therefore stops yesterday.
- 1:29:14Speaker 5: You can actually get one on the outside of your
- 1:29:16Speaker 5: house from the electrical.
- 1:29:17Speaker 4: People on those nightmare unlocked again.
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: If you had nightmareage your house.
- 1:29:24Speaker 4: Playing video games and getting electrocuted by lightning, that's pretty.
- 1:29:27Speaker 5: Crazy, yeah, to Martha Stewart, like the sink.
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: Yeah, but you remember when you were a kid, My
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: mom would not let us go take a shower if
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: it was lightning and thunder outside. You weren't allowed to
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: be on the phone or on the phone. Yeah, that
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: was all right. Give me one more clip this week
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: in audio.
- 1:29:48Speaker 6: You're gonna love this one. This man is from Howard County, Maryland.
- 1:29:51Speaker 6: He called the cops because his car got stolen. Oh no,
- 1:29:55Speaker 6: and they noticed something strange about this man.
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: Here, Ryan. I was at McDonald's. I was when you
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: pulled up here.
- 1:30:07Speaker 16: Where all did you go?
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: I just went down here and came back.
- 1:30:10Speaker 16: Let me get your hands real quick.
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: Put James in your back for me for what were
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: you at that Verizon store?
- 1:30:16Speaker 16: So you got blood on your hands and butter wasn't
- 1:30:19Speaker 16: that Verizon store, sir?
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: I promised to God have a son. What's with the
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: blood on your hand? What happened to the Verizon store?
- 1:30:26Speaker 6: Well, they already knew they were already in the area
- 1:30:27Speaker 6: because a Verizon store had somebody like break through the
- 1:30:29Speaker 6: wall apparently cut the hell out of.
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: Blood all over his body.
- 1:30:35Speaker 6: He's like, I'll be called the cops. I hope they
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: don't know the blood all over my person. I got
- 1:30:39Speaker 6: that at McDonald's. And then the cops they pile on here.
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: That's hilarious. So he broke into the Verizon store while
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: he left his keys in his car, and while he
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: was robbing the Verizon store, his car got stolen.
- 1:30:50Speaker 6: That's awesome exactly. The cops mentioned the same right here.
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: So here's the deal.
- 1:30:55Speaker 12: Okay, okay, someone stole my top. I understand, I understand that,
- 1:31:00Speaker 12: So the gig's up. It's whether you want to be
- 1:31:01Speaker 12: honest about stuff or not. Oh my god, that's that's
- 1:31:04Speaker 12: kind of some karma right there, ain't it. Yeah, that's
- 1:31:09Speaker 12: karma right there.
- 1:31:10Speaker 10: Dude.
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: I love how the cops laughing at him.
- 1:31:13Speaker 15: MS.
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: It's called kara. Well there's this week in audio. Yeah,
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: thank you very much, Steve Bass More. Woody Show is next.
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: Hang on the Woody Show back in a minute.
- 1:31:28Speaker 6: Stick your tongue away, Woody Show.
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: And into another hour, final hour. Yep, you're on the
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: Woody Show on this throwback Thursday. It's July the ninth,
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: twenty twenty six. Woody, Greg Man, Gina grad and this
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: is the time of the week. We were welcome into
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: the studio. He is the pride of Pacoima. He's a
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: senior vice president Manji, partner of Club Turn Up. He
- 1:31:59Speaker 2: goes by many James l Presidente, DJ, Tim Martinez and
- 1:32:03Speaker 2: more recently Kiyo. Yeah, we can also call you Fiji Tim, you.
- 1:32:14Speaker 16: Can, dude.
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: Tim and his wife celebrating their twenty fifth yep, twenty
- 1:32:19Speaker 2: fifth anniversary, decided to do something really cool and they
- 1:32:23Speaker 2: went on a trip to Fiji and he was sending
- 1:32:25Speaker 2: me these pictures and everyone was better than the last. Yeah, wow,
- 1:32:30Speaker 2: it looks incredible. It's definitely I told you before. On
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: my wife's bucket list to go to Fiji, she wants
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: to stay kind of where you did, like the huts
- 1:32:37Speaker 2: over the water water?
- 1:32:38Speaker 9: Was that?
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: Was that as cool as it looks or is it
- 1:32:40Speaker 2: like is it one of the things that looks cool
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: but is not as great as you think? I will
- 1:32:43Speaker 2: say it's a little bit of both. Like love that
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: we did it. Check the box.
- 1:32:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I would have done like four days over the water,
- 1:32:52Speaker 3: and then I would then move to another private part
- 1:32:56Speaker 3: of the resort.
- 1:32:57Speaker 4: I know one thing I was going to ask, is
- 1:33:00Speaker 4: it did you get it?
- 1:33:01Speaker 2: Was like getting the to and from kind of thing
- 1:33:03Speaker 2: to get to everything else. Get it? Correct it.
- 1:33:06Speaker 3: We're literally the furthest thing from all other things. But
- 1:33:11Speaker 3: the shout out to the Marriotte in Fiji. All you
- 1:33:14Speaker 3: have to do is pick up the phone, send me
- 1:33:16Speaker 3: a golf cart.
- 1:33:17Speaker 2: Oh no, we're back four days. I would say, I
- 1:33:24Speaker 2: would stay there four years and they So the first thing.
- 1:33:27Speaker 5: I call, I'm like, oh, we could actually call for
- 1:33:30Speaker 5: a golf cart.
- 1:33:30Speaker 3: So I call them, did I get a golf cart,
- 1:33:32Speaker 3: and they're like golf cart, you mean buggy And I'm like,
- 1:33:35Speaker 3: sure it up, but I don't.
- 1:33:37Speaker 5: Care what send the buggy.
- 1:33:40Speaker 2: Awesome. So everybody's seen those huts over the water. That
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: looks cool. One thing I'd never seen before, which I
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: thought was really cool, is that one place that you
- 1:33:47Speaker 2: went to. It looked like it was kind of out
- 1:33:48Speaker 2: in the middle. I have to have like an oil
- 1:33:50Speaker 2: rig out in the middle of the ocean somewhere. Yeah,
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: seventh Heaven is heaven. It looks pretty big. Let me
- 1:33:56Speaker 2: show you a picture. Let me show you a picture. No,
- 1:33:58Speaker 2: it's a it's like a it's a thing right in
- 1:34:00Speaker 2: the middle of the water. Somebody got to get there
- 1:34:01Speaker 2: by boat. But once you're there, it's like a bar,
- 1:34:04Speaker 2: a restaurant. It's a whole thing, dude.
- 1:34:07Speaker 5: It's basically like, for lack of a better description, it's
- 1:34:13Speaker 5: like a club on water.
- 1:34:15Speaker 2: Like, look this thing.
- 1:34:17Speaker 5: Oh my god, that's.
- 1:34:21Speaker 2: I mean, you see that minute. I mean it's so cool, man. Yeah, great,
- 1:34:25Speaker 2: So you spend the whole day there. We were there
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: for about five hours, okay, it was so you can
- 1:34:31Speaker 2: come and go as you want. There's like shuttles of
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: boats or whatever. Yeah.
- 1:34:33Speaker 3: I mean, well, we hired, uh, we hired a guy
- 1:34:36Speaker 3: basically to be our personal uber on the water for
- 1:34:40Speaker 3: the day.
- 1:34:41Speaker 5: I'm bougie like.
- 1:34:42Speaker 15: That, you know.
- 1:34:43Speaker 5: So he was like, you, you just tell me when
- 1:34:46Speaker 5: you want to come and I'll come. Grab you want
- 1:34:48Speaker 5: to go to the next island, We'll go to the
- 1:34:50Speaker 5: next island.
- 1:34:51Speaker 2: So yeah, it was pretty scale. One to ten Fiji.
- 1:34:54Speaker 5: I'm gonna say nine and a half nine half.
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: My wife and I we just want to go today.
- 1:35:02Speaker 2: Every picture, I mean, you know, I'm jeweling with the
- 1:35:05Speaker 2: color of the water. She's drawing the pictures of shirt
- 1:35:08Speaker 2: shirt off Tim. Oh yeah, shirt off. Tim was like
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: in a lot of these pictures. Yeah, I know, right,
- 1:35:13Speaker 2: it is copies. I actually the.
- 1:35:15Speaker 5: Only people I spoke to the entire two weeks was
- 1:35:19Speaker 5: Woody and my kids.
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: Literally, yeah, makes sense, your boyfriend and well Tim is
- 1:35:26Speaker 2: here and uh, Jeff G's got some questions. We've got
- 1:35:30Speaker 2: the boards and I'll tell you what. Ever, since we
- 1:35:32Speaker 2: started doing this, every week we get more and more
- 1:35:34Speaker 2: questions that people are sending in. You can send us
- 1:35:37Speaker 2: your questions for to Tim if you'd like to hear
- 1:35:39Speaker 2: it in this segment in the future round of it,
- 1:35:41Speaker 2: send us an email email at the woodieshow dot com.
- 1:35:44Speaker 2: Email at the woodieshow dot com is how you do that,
- 1:35:47Speaker 2: or you can send us a text text over to
- 1:35:48Speaker 2: two two nine eight seven. Timmy ready. I'm ready always.
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: I kind of feel like Jeff's in charge of going
- 1:35:54Speaker 2: through the submissions of the questions everything. I kind of
- 1:35:56Speaker 2: feel like he chose violence today and I did kind
- 1:35:59Speaker 2: of did. So people are gonna be fighting after today.
- 1:36:02Speaker 2: A question number one. All right, we're gonna start off tough.
- 1:36:06Speaker 5: What is a toxic trait that all Latina women have.
- 1:36:09Speaker 2: I'm not answering Latina women have, man, okay, toxic tree?
- 1:36:17Speaker 3: God, I mean, first of all, all Latinos are perfect,
- 1:36:21Speaker 3: so let's start there.
- 1:36:25Speaker 5: Toxic trait?
- 1:36:27Speaker 2: Okay?
- 1:36:30Speaker 16: All right?
- 1:36:31Speaker 2: All right, Oh god, I'm just torn.
- 1:36:35Speaker 5: Yeah, me too, I'm locked in.
- 1:36:36Speaker 2: I am too, all right. I got I wrote something
- 1:36:40Speaker 2: down and please don't get mad at me, ladies. It's observation, observation,
- 1:36:46Speaker 2: observation only. Did you write it down?
- 1:36:49Speaker 4: I hope, I'm right. Yeah, I'm ready.
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: All right. I wrote down zero patients like there's just
- 1:36:56Speaker 2: no like it's just like you said it once. And
- 1:36:58Speaker 2: now now I'm saying again, now there's like yelling, or
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: there's like a I don't know, threat of violence or something. Yeah,
- 1:37:06Speaker 2: like you're gonna get something thrown or yeah something. I
- 1:37:09Speaker 2: was gonna put that short fuse, but I ended up
- 1:37:12Speaker 2: going with from experience, resting bitch face. All right, all right,
- 1:37:19Speaker 2: what you write down?
- 1:37:20Speaker 4: I hope I'm right and I like it. I wrote
- 1:37:23Speaker 4: feisty personality.
- 1:37:24Speaker 2: See I'm kind of saying somewhat.
- 1:37:27Speaker 5: Yeah, you gonna say, it's kind of the same realm
- 1:37:30Speaker 5: I put being Mouthye, you know, it's like out in public.
- 1:37:34Speaker 6: Just being like, you know, like start starting fights that
- 1:37:37Speaker 6: you're supposed to finish.
- 1:37:39Speaker 5: Yeah, all right, Sammy, Sammy, I did like gossiping gossip.
- 1:37:43Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, Jeff G. They're good at talking crap. Yeah
- 1:37:49Speaker 2: you yes, for sure. Yeah, Tim Martinez, all.
- 1:37:53Speaker 5: Right, I think I'm with Jeff G. No filter literally
- 1:38:00Speaker 5: just will come out of nowhere and just say whatever
- 1:38:03Speaker 5: is on the mind. And again I'm I I like it.
- 1:38:06Speaker 5: I'm all for it.
- 1:38:07Speaker 2: I like that. I like people. I like people with
- 1:38:09Speaker 2: no filter. Yeah, I mean think about like my aunt Chrissy,
- 1:38:12Speaker 2: you know, the first perfect example, just like yeah, yeah,
- 1:38:16Speaker 2: as long as it's not directed to you, like you
- 1:38:18Speaker 2: were saying.
- 1:38:18Speaker 11: Well, it's usually directed at me, you and your stupid
- 1:38:21Speaker 11: ass friends and stupid.
- 1:38:24Speaker 5: It's always somebody's a.
- 1:38:25Speaker 2: Stupid ass, all right you, Tim?
- 1:38:28Speaker 11: Question number two, This is actually a text in question Tim,
- 1:38:32Speaker 11: and this is a good one that says, Hi, this
- 1:38:34Speaker 11: is Alicia from Anaheim. My man has a work wife.
- 1:38:38Speaker 11: This bitch brings him leftovers. They have inside jokes and
- 1:38:42Speaker 11: they even text each other after work. I told my
- 1:38:44Speaker 11: man to chill, but he's not listening. What is my
- 1:38:47Speaker 11: next move to Tim?
- 1:38:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there's nothing to write down here.
- 1:38:52Speaker 5: This is just a I mean it's a this is
- 1:38:54Speaker 5: a discussion. Yeah, we have an hour.
- 1:38:57Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I can tell you, like my wife would
- 1:39:00Speaker 2: not like that, you know, it's it's not about like
- 1:39:03Speaker 2: she would hate the leftovers thing, hate it that that's
- 1:39:08Speaker 2: too personal. And then also the inside jokes or the texting,
- 1:39:13Speaker 2: like if it's not like a business related, if it's
- 1:39:16Speaker 2: just like, oh, here's something fun or funny or whatever,
- 1:39:18Speaker 2: she'd hate it. But like I text you all the time,
- 1:39:21Speaker 2: she knows you, Like I think it's I think it's
- 1:39:24Speaker 2: different when like I don't know, this situation feels different,
- 1:39:28Speaker 2: Like this kind of job or whatever. But I think
- 1:39:30Speaker 2: if somebody goes off to like an office job somewhere
- 1:39:32Speaker 2: and they have somebody the wife doesn't really know, just
- 1:39:34Speaker 2: knows of this person, and there's these things going on, Dang,
- 1:39:39Speaker 2: I got it.
- 1:39:40Speaker 5: I'm locked in.
- 1:39:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:39:42Speaker 5: Yeah, Uh, he better be fun out at his resume
- 1:39:45Speaker 5: because that mother effort switching.
- 1:39:46Speaker 2: Jobs real, get switching jobs out, all right?
- 1:39:55Speaker 8: Uh, greg I said, call or confront the bitch like up, yeah, yeah,
- 1:40:01Speaker 8: work drama, go straight to the source.
- 1:40:03Speaker 4: I'm with you, greg, I said, text that bitch, oh.
- 1:40:06Speaker 2: Like directly, yes, hey girl, not through his phone, text
- 1:40:10Speaker 2: that bitch.
- 1:40:11Speaker 5: Yeah same, Yeah.
- 1:40:13Speaker 2: Yeah, does uh steamboat Willie have like a work wife?
- 1:40:17Speaker 13: No?
- 1:40:18Speaker 4: No, I mean he works out of the house, so
- 1:40:21Speaker 4: like and yeah Andy's Andy's bitch is the puppy.
- 1:40:27Speaker 2: Literally yeah yeah true? Yeah, all right, Tim, what do
- 1:40:31Speaker 2: you say? Always jeff G. First, Jeff G. Show up
- 1:40:33Speaker 2: at work and check that work wife. Oh yeah, show
- 1:40:37Speaker 2: up at work and check her right in front of everybody.
- 1:40:39Speaker 10: And then.
- 1:40:42Speaker 11: That's the easiest way for it to stop, because she'll
- 1:40:44Speaker 11: be embarrassed and he'll be embarrassed.
- 1:40:45Speaker 5: Yeah, they'll both be embarrassed.
- 1:40:47Speaker 2: In front of the coworkers. So I actually have a
- 1:40:49Speaker 2: work wife, but she lives on the East Coast. I
- 1:40:51Speaker 2: work with her.
- 1:40:52Speaker 3: I talked to her twelve times a day, and it's yeah,
- 1:40:57Speaker 3: we text outside of work hours, not just about not
- 1:41:01Speaker 3: just about work, not just about work.
- 1:41:03Speaker 17: I mean again, like you like what you wearing kind
- 1:41:05Speaker 17: of stuff. I mean again, my again, my wife.
- 1:41:13Speaker 2: Is she met her?
- 1:41:14Speaker 5: Yeah, for sure, And that's where I'm at.
- 1:41:16Speaker 2: That's my answer.
- 1:41:17Speaker 3: Introduce her to the work wife. I mean, like I'm
- 1:41:21Speaker 3: telling you, it is worked. I've had two work wives.
- 1:41:25Speaker 5: I've been here for over twenty five years, so I've
- 1:41:27Speaker 5: had plenty of work wives. And it's like, yo, like
- 1:41:31Speaker 5: this is part of my life.
- 1:41:32Speaker 2: I mean, it is what it is.
- 1:41:33Speaker 5: I never turn off my cell phone.
- 1:41:35Speaker 2: And see, I don't like the term workwise because I
- 1:41:39Speaker 2: think it's just assigned incorrectly.
- 1:41:41Speaker 5: Yeah, that's just because just because you work.
- 1:41:43Speaker 2: With somebody who is like the opposite sex and you
- 1:41:46Speaker 2: have as much of a relationship quote unquote with them
- 1:41:49Speaker 2: as you would like another dude, you may be texting
- 1:41:51Speaker 2: this other dude that you work with, I think it
- 1:41:53Speaker 2: becomes more personal, like she's bringing the left or she's
- 1:41:56Speaker 2: doing that more caretaking part of it. That's where they
- 1:41:59Speaker 2: maybe drawn like she's the food. She's I know you do.
- 1:42:03Speaker 2: I'm saying, like she's bringing the leftovers. And what she's like,
- 1:42:07Speaker 2: you know, calling checking in when he's sick and thinks
- 1:42:10Speaker 2: like this stuff like that, that wife stuff.
- 1:42:12Speaker 10: I think.
- 1:42:12Speaker 3: I think what is worse is like when your quote
- 1:42:14Speaker 3: unquote work wife is like you're like if I had
- 1:42:17Speaker 3: a female assistant, like my personal assistant, that could get
- 1:42:21Speaker 3: even way more sticky. You know what I'm saying, Like
- 1:42:23Speaker 3: she's doing you know, picking up your laundry, doing whatever.
- 1:42:27Speaker 2: But I don't know. All right, Well, uh one, Tim,
- 1:42:30Speaker 2: if you've got questions for him, you can hit us
- 1:42:32Speaker 2: up on the text over to two two nine eighty seven.

- 1:42:37Speaker 2: at the woodieshow dot com. We are a heavy metal band.
- 1:42:41Speaker 7: I mean everybody knows that.
- 1:42:43Speaker 2: Wait wait, hold on, wait, wait where am I the
- 1:42:47Speaker 2: Woody Show. It's not a where am I game? But
- 1:42:50Speaker 2: I do have a game. It's a game for Sammy. Okay,
- 1:42:54Speaker 2: I'm gonna give Sammy a name of a lifetime.
- 1:42:56Speaker 5: Movie, a lifetime all right.
- 1:42:59Speaker 6: I know it's not all I'm more of a person.
- 1:43:01Speaker 2: No, No, but you are you know, Lifetime like all that. Yeah,
- 1:43:06Speaker 2: you're you're legal. You're the closest person in this room
- 1:43:09Speaker 2: who would be able to give us.
- 1:43:10Speaker 5: As say that Lifetime is more kind of hood.
- 1:43:14Speaker 2: Maybe you like it's a little bit darker.
- 1:43:16Speaker 4: Are they the ones that goo lifetime television for women?
- 1:43:18Speaker 2: Yeah? Okay, so I'm gonna give you the name of
- 1:43:21Speaker 2: a Lifetime movie. You need to tell me if it's
- 1:43:23Speaker 2: a real movie or just one that was made up. Okay,
- 1:43:27Speaker 2: all right, Identity Theft of a Cheerleader. Real, that is
- 1:43:34Speaker 2: a real Lifetime movie. I gotta see that from twenty nineteen.
- 1:43:39Speaker 2: Did that one first? Obviously? You know Sammy cheerleader figured
- 1:43:43Speaker 2: maybe she saw it.
- 1:43:45Speaker 5: I don't.
- 1:43:45Speaker 4: I don't think I did.
- 1:43:47Speaker 2: She was. Let see maybe watching this one real or
- 1:43:51Speaker 2: made up? Crowning at the prom? Look graphic, Oh my god,
- 1:43:59Speaker 2: crowning at the problem I know. Is it because she
- 1:44:01Speaker 2: was prom queen?
- 1:44:02Speaker 15: No?
- 1:44:03Speaker 2: Or is she having a baby?
- 1:44:04Speaker 14: A baby?
- 1:44:05Speaker 7: And you know what they did do a movie called
- 1:44:06Speaker 7: pregnancy Packed, so they might have done I'm gonna say real, real, Yes,
- 1:44:14Speaker 7: this is real.
- 1:44:15Speaker 4: I gotta see that.
- 1:44:15Speaker 2: Crowning at the prom? All right, real Lifetime movie or
- 1:44:19Speaker 2: just made up another woman's husband made up. That's a
- 1:44:24Speaker 2: real one.
- 1:44:24Speaker 4: It sounds like what they would do.
- 1:44:26Speaker 2: It's twenty six years old, but it's real, real Lifetime
- 1:44:30Speaker 2: or made up baby for sale? Real? You think that's real? Great?
- 1:44:36Speaker 2: I would say, real, yeah, real, it's real. These are
- 1:44:42Speaker 2: two thousand and four. All right, spoiler alert, These are
- 1:44:44Speaker 2: all real.
- 1:44:45Speaker 5: I was starting to.
- 1:44:46Speaker 6: Wonder that's not man menace, is right? They're really leaning
- 1:44:49Speaker 6: more into like the murder porn genre as opposed to
- 1:44:52Speaker 6: yeah yeah, love story. Washers is Lifetime, the same network
- 1:44:58Speaker 6: that had that show Snapped.
- 1:45:00Speaker 4: Oh no, I think that's Oh maybe I love that show.
- 1:45:03Speaker 2: Because it was all chicks like losing it and killing
- 1:45:05Speaker 2: their husband, yeah with their boyfriend.
- 1:45:07Speaker 7: But Lifetime, I mean would be right up Gena Zally
- 1:45:09Speaker 7: for sure because it is based on true story.
- 1:45:12Speaker 2: So they dramatize the stuff that was Oh.
- 1:45:16Speaker 4: Snapped is on Oxygen. That's the other one, all right?
- 1:45:20Speaker 2: Uh? Newlywed and Dead is a Lifetime movie from twenty sixteen,
- 1:45:25Speaker 2: Stalked by My Doctor And that was like a whole
- 1:45:29Speaker 2: series that ran from twenty fifteen to twenty twenty one. Yes, please,
- 1:45:34Speaker 2: actual movie on Lifetime from twenty seventeen, from Straight A's
- 1:45:40Speaker 2: to Triple x Y. I'm saying hell yeah, hell all
- 1:45:46Speaker 2: watched Tonight Noise Psycho Storm Chaser from twenty twenty one.
- 1:45:53Speaker 2: See the other good one here? Oh you could watch
- 1:45:56Speaker 2: Restless Virgins.
- 1:45:58Speaker 4: No, let me look that up.
- 1:45:59Speaker 2: A Lifetime movie from twenty thirteen. I can't calm down. Yeah,
- 1:46:03Speaker 2: this one called so this one was from nineteen ninety
- 1:46:06Speaker 2: six and then they remade it in twenty sixteen because
- 1:46:09Speaker 2: it was so good. Mother May I Sleep with Danger?
- 1:46:13Speaker 4: Oh, I've seen it.
- 1:46:13Speaker 2: I've heard him did.
- 1:46:14Speaker 4: Yeah, I've seen that one because the title was so great.
- 1:46:17Speaker 5: I watched it.
- 1:46:17Speaker 4: And there's one uh, there's a dateline called that too.
- 1:46:20Speaker 2: Well, so what was it was like? I don't remember
- 1:46:23Speaker 2: what it was about. I just know I've seen Mother
- 1:46:25Speaker 2: may I Sleep with Danger?
- 1:46:26Speaker 4: Yeah, there's there's that. There's Mother may I Sleep with Danger?
- 1:46:28Speaker 4: And I Now pronounce you dead, which is he kills
- 1:46:31Speaker 4: it right after the wedding.
- 1:46:32Speaker 2: All right, you love murder? She does. It's so weird.
- 1:46:37Speaker 2: I love murder.
- 1:46:38Speaker 4: I'm trained by this genre.
- 1:46:41Speaker 2: Cyber Seduction His Secret Life in two thousand and five. Oh,
- 1:46:45Speaker 2: I know that one.
- 1:46:46Speaker 4: Oh anyway, Sammy. This is why I knew I saw it,
- 1:46:49Speaker 4: Mother May I Sleep with Danger had was star Tory spelling.
- 1:46:52Speaker 4: That's why I knew i'd seen it.
- 1:46:53Speaker 7: The Cyber Seduction one he gets addicted to porn, I
- 1:46:56Speaker 7: think is that one?
- 1:46:57Speaker 2: Yeah, people talking the most.
- 1:47:01Speaker 16: Well.
- 1:47:02Speaker 2: Menace might have watched Lifetime at one point because he
- 1:47:05Speaker 2: likes all that. He likes all the early stuff.
- 1:47:07Speaker 5: I think Unsolved Mysteries was on Lifetime for Thank You.
- 1:47:11Speaker 6: Medas likes real life drama, not reenacted drama.
- 1:47:14Speaker 10: He likes.
- 1:47:15Speaker 4: Yeah, well, it's not really real life like they probably.
- 1:47:17Speaker 2: Did, like a Menandaz Brothers one. They did that Betty
- 1:47:20Speaker 2: Broderick one.
- 1:47:21Speaker 7: Yeah, they did one about a mom who I think
- 1:47:24Speaker 7: kills another girl who's like running for cheercas.
- 1:47:27Speaker 4: Oh that one was amazing. Yeah yeah, hold on, she
- 1:47:30Speaker 4: gets a hit man.
- 1:47:31Speaker 2: She doesn't real or life Hallmark movie. Okay, Chasing Leprechauns, No,
- 1:47:40Speaker 2: that's not real, that's real. Where to gold At though.
- 1:47:42Speaker 2: A real estate executive tries to save a company plant
- 1:47:46Speaker 2: in Ireland by providing leprechauns by proving leprechauns actually exist. Okay,
- 1:47:54Speaker 2: twenty twelve, that's more Hallmark sounding how about this one,
- 1:47:57Speaker 2: Love on a Limb? Yes, I love that one, Ashley Williams. No,
- 1:48:02Speaker 2: and she's trying to save a tree herself to it, says.
- 1:48:07Speaker 2: A woman accidentally gets stuck in an oak tree, protesting
- 1:48:10Speaker 2: its removal, only to find love in the branches.
- 1:48:13Speaker 4: That's amazing.
- 1:48:14Speaker 5: Well, I came from development. That idea came from Remember when, uh,
- 1:48:19Speaker 5: in Berkeley, California, they were living in the trees.
- 1:48:23Speaker 2: I don't know, all right, how about uh, let's see
- 1:48:29Speaker 2: my boyfriend's dogs.
- 1:48:33Speaker 7: I mean, I guess I'll say yes because they're probably
- 1:48:36Speaker 7: all real.
- 1:48:36Speaker 4: Again, but I haven't heard of that one.
- 1:48:38Speaker 2: It's a real one. A woman in a wedding dress
- 1:48:41Speaker 2: is found wondering with three straight dogs, each belonging to
- 1:48:44Speaker 2: one of her ex boyfriends.
- 1:48:48Speaker 10: Oh.
- 1:48:49Speaker 2: I guess they break up and she keeps the dog.
- 1:48:51Speaker 4: You guys, this is star studded. It's Erica Christiansen and
- 1:48:55Speaker 4: Joyce de Witt from Three's Company.
- 1:48:56Speaker 2: Oh all right, Uh, Santa tell me.
- 1:49:02Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:49:03Speaker 2: A woman receives a magical letter from Santa instructing her
- 1:49:07Speaker 2: to date three guys all named Nick. That's a Christmas and.
- 1:49:13Speaker 5: Wants yeah.
- 1:49:16Speaker 2: Thanksgiving. There's another one. The Santa Class, A stressed lawyer
- 1:49:21Speaker 2: attends a class designed to teach dult men how to
- 1:49:23Speaker 2: become real life Santas. Yeah, yeah, everyone knows that one.
- 1:49:30Speaker 2: Some of the other real Lifetime movies Drink Sleigh Love,
- 1:49:37Speaker 2: Honeymoon with Mom. I do parenthetically, but I don't. Oh no,
- 1:49:46Speaker 2: there's one called I Me Wed, I V Wed. I guess,
- 1:49:52Speaker 2: but I me themselves I Love two thousand and seven.
- 1:49:57Speaker 2: There's a Lifetime movie Killing Daddy from twenty four all right,
- 1:50:01Speaker 2: and one for you, Greg Sexting in Suburbia Entertainment Weekly
- 1:50:08Speaker 2: did like a whole rite up on you know some
- 1:50:09Speaker 2: of the more ridiculous ones.
- 1:50:10Speaker 4: You're right about imy Wed. She's exhausted looking for her soulmates,
- 1:50:14Speaker 4: so she marries herself.
- 1:50:15Speaker 2: Did you watch the one Sammy where he's a snowman
- 1:50:18Speaker 2: but he comes to life.
- 1:50:19Speaker 4: But he that's hot frosty, and that's.
- 1:50:25Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, And it's very odd because she does fall
- 1:50:29Speaker 7: in love with him.
- 1:50:30Speaker 6: But he's a snowman, right, who just turns into human form.
- 1:50:33Speaker 7: So it's almost like almost like an Edward Scissorhand type
- 1:50:37Speaker 7: of character where everything's so foreign and he's very.
- 1:50:40Speaker 6: Strange and he has as.
- 1:50:43Speaker 7: Acts, but he's very childlike and not adult at all
- 1:50:47Speaker 7: when she falls in love with him.
- 1:50:49Speaker 6: Weird special question for the ladies. Let's say hypothetically he
- 1:50:54Speaker 6: was not a real special needs adult.
- 1:50:56Speaker 15: He was.
- 1:50:57Speaker 6: He was a real like whatever snowman that became, And
- 1:50:59Speaker 6: so would you hook up with him if he were that? Sure,
- 1:51:04Speaker 6: you're not taking advantage of a special needs person.
- 1:51:06Speaker 4: By the I wouldn't want to be in a relationship
- 1:51:08Speaker 4: with him, But of course you hook up with real snowman,
- 1:51:11Speaker 4: do you. I don't know if I could do it.
- 1:51:14Speaker 7: He's pretty hot though, for anyone who doesn't know.
- 1:51:20Speaker 2: You've seen Ship's Creek.
- 1:51:23Speaker 4: He's the one who dates alexis the one who proposed.
- 1:51:28Speaker 2: Face.
- 1:51:29Speaker 4: That is, he is Glenn Powell level forgettable, pretty much long.
- 1:51:33Speaker 2: He's got long hair though.
- 1:51:35Speaker 6: In Hot Frosty spoiler alert, did Lacy shabbee Hot Frosty.
- 1:51:43Speaker 4: She kisses him? Well, no, they don't hook up with
- 1:51:47Speaker 4: Homark movies.
- 1:51:49Speaker 2: It's called an ice wine Christmas. One in Philadelphia's top
- 1:51:53Speaker 2: wine Somaliers goes home to the magical vineyards of Evergreen,
- 1:51:57Speaker 2: New York to take part in the town's annual ice
- 1:52:00Speaker 2: Swine Christmas Festival and Harvest of course.
- 1:52:04Speaker 4: Really yeah, yes, the only one I've seen full through
- 1:52:09Speaker 4: is Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater.
- 1:52:11Speaker 7: Yes, also with Ashley Williams, I love her down to
- 1:52:17Speaker 7: watch one of these.
- 1:52:18Speaker 6: Do you what do you expect to happen?
- 1:52:19Speaker 2: What do you hope is going to happen?
- 1:52:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I know what's going to happen.
- 1:52:22Speaker 2: One of those things that you put on it's kind
- 1:52:24Speaker 2: of in the background as you're scrolling, like a second
- 1:52:26Speaker 2: screen thing, like you're just kind of doing other things
- 1:52:29Speaker 2: it's on. Or do you sit down getting locked in
- 1:52:32Speaker 2: into the story and watching thing.
- 1:52:35Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm locked in on the new ones, but I
- 1:52:37Speaker 7: will turn it on with the old ones.
- 1:52:39Speaker 4: We already know what's going to happen. And Crochet and
- 1:52:42Speaker 4: exactly it's.
