- 0:01Speaker 1: You're listening to His Hop Radio, where faith, hope, and
- 0:05Speaker 1: hip-hop unite to glorify Jesus Christ. Broadcasting from Las Vegas
- 0:10Speaker 1: to the world, this is Verse by Verse, studying God's
- 0:13Speaker 1: Word one verse at a time. Now let's tap in
- 0:17Speaker 1: with your host, Mr.
- 0:18Speaker 2: His Hop.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Yo, yo, yo, what's up?
- 0:33Speaker 2: What's up, everybody?
- 0:58Speaker 3: Hey, I am back. It has been a long week.
- 1:04Speaker 3: We just came back from a family cruise and I
- 1:08Speaker 3: can't wait to share some highlights about that. It was
- 1:12Speaker 3: a time of refreshing, a time of getting away and
- 1:17Speaker 3: reconnecting with the family. And there are a couple of
- 1:22Speaker 3: ups and downs. So I'll share that with you guys
- 1:25Speaker 3: a little later in the podcast. Thank you for being patient.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Thank you for waiting for us to come back. If
- 1:33Speaker 3: you have been listening to the His Hot Radio station,
- 1:36Speaker 3: we have been playing some of our older episodes all week.
- 1:42Speaker 3: So hopefully you were able to listen to some of
- 1:45Speaker 3: those and revisit some of those. And it's still the word, right?
- 1:51Speaker 3: The word never gets old. Or we can never say, well,
- 1:59Speaker 3: I heard that before. We can always get something new
- 2:02Speaker 3: out of the word. And I hope that you're able
- 2:07Speaker 3: to do that if you were listening while I was gone.
- 2:11Speaker 3: But hey, I'm back now. I'm thankful because the Lord
- 2:16Speaker 3: gave us traveling mercies. We took the Royal Caribbean. The
- 2:22Speaker 3: first time we cruised on a those cruise lines, the
- 2:30Speaker 3: first cruise we ever took was on the Carnival and
- 2:32Speaker 3: that was great. So we'll talk about that too a
- 2:36Speaker 3: little later in the podcast. But right now what we
- 2:40Speaker 3: want to do, we want to get back into the Word.
- 2:43Speaker 3: We're in the book of Jeremiah. This is our verse
- 2:48Speaker 3: by verse Bible study, our online discipleship, our online community. Now,
- 2:56Speaker 3: This is episode 60, amen, in the book of Jeremiah.
- 3:03Speaker 3: And so we're going to pick up in verse 23, no,
- 3:06Speaker 3: I mean chapter 23, verse 9 through 15. That's how
- 3:11Speaker 3: we're going to go. In our last episode, we saw
- 3:15Speaker 3: God condemn the shepherds who scattered his people while promising
- 3:21Speaker 3: that the righteous branch shall be coming to save the people.
- 3:29Speaker 3: And we know the righteous branch is none other than
- 3:33Speaker 3: Jesus Christ himself. Now Jeremiah turns his attention to the prophets,
- 3:41Speaker 3: men who were supposed to speak God's word, but instead
- 3:45Speaker 3: were lying and they were living corrupted lives. They were
- 3:50Speaker 3: leading God's people astray. And these are the false prophets.
- 3:58Speaker 3: And God gives us serious warning, serious warnings in his passage.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Never use God's name to validate your own message.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Amen.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Never use God's name to corrupt. And to Man, it's
- 4:22Speaker 3: just wow. I just now, I mean, just saying that,
- 4:26Speaker 3: coming out of my mouth, people use God to do
- 4:31Speaker 3: horrible things. They use his name in vain. And so
- 4:37Speaker 3: let's pray that our hearts will never lead us into
- 4:40Speaker 3: that direction, right? Also, we want you to meet us
- 4:47Speaker 3: in the live chat every day at 11 o'clock, Monday
- 4:50Speaker 3: through Saturday.
- 4:52Speaker 2: We are in there.
- 4:53Speaker 3: I mean, you can post 24-7, but that is our
- 4:55Speaker 3: meetup time. We need people to help hold us accountable.
- 4:59Speaker 3: We need people that will help encourage us. We need
- 5:03Speaker 3: people that will pour into us with the Word of God,
- 5:07Speaker 3: and that's what we do. That's what we're about here
- 5:11Speaker 3: on this podcast. So all you have to do is

- 5:33Speaker 3: do a little more in the community. We post videos
- 5:36Speaker 3: and pics is more of a social page in there.
- 5:40Speaker 3: social atmosphere like Facebook and all those other things. You're

- 6:16Speaker 3: So let's go before Father in prayer. Heavenly Father, we ask,
- 6:19Speaker 3: oh Lord, that you will give us the reign of
- 6:22Speaker 3: word today. Father, we ask that you'll open up the scriptures,
- 6:24Speaker 3: that you will lead this podcast, that it will be
- 6:28Speaker 3: spirit led, oh God, that we will not lead it
- 6:30Speaker 3: by intellect and that we will not just be hearers
- 6:33Speaker 3: of the word, but doers only. We ask, Lord, that
- 6:36Speaker 3: this will draw us closer to you. Give us a
- 6:38Speaker 3: greater faith, a greater obedience. a greater love for you
- 6:43Speaker 3: and our relationship with you, God. We invite you. We
- 6:47Speaker 3: ask that you add a blessing to those who listen,
- 6:50Speaker 3: those who are faithful to the process, oh God, of
- 6:55Speaker 3: this podcast and this online community. We ask this in
- 6:58Speaker 3: Jesus' name. Amen. All right, well, let's dive into it, beloved.
- 7:09Speaker 3: So we're going to Start off in verse 9. I'm
- 7:14Speaker 3: coming at you from the New King James. It says,
- 7:16Speaker 3: my heart within me is broken because of the prophets.
- 7:22Speaker 3: All my bones shake. I am like a drunken man
- 7:27Speaker 3: and like a man whom wine has overcome because of
- 7:33Speaker 3: the Lord and because of his holy words.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Now, of course, it's.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Obvious that this is Jeremiah speaking here in the passage.
- 7:45Speaker 3: He says, my heart breaks within me. My heart is broken.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Have you ever had a broken heart before? I am
- 7:58Speaker 3: a poster child. I don't know why, but ever since
- 8:02Speaker 3: my youth, I've had one heartbreak after the other. But
- 8:08Speaker 3: his heart is broken because of the prophets. It looks like.
- 8:12Speaker 1: You lost another one.
- 8:13Speaker 3: Jeremiah is... deeply disturbed by what he sees among the prophets. Now,
- 8:28Speaker 3: he is not excited because he gets to expose God's people.
- 8:36Speaker 3: He knows that God loves these men, even though these
- 8:39Speaker 3: men are in error. It may be false prophets, but
- 8:43Speaker 3: our hearts need to break as well. Biblical correction should
- 8:50Speaker 3: come from our heart that desires restoration and not destruction. Now,
- 9:00Speaker 3: we need to stand firmly in God's truth without hating
- 9:04Speaker 3: the people who are wrong, right? God never told us
- 9:12Speaker 3: to hate anyone. He told us to love our enemies,
- 9:17Speaker 3: as a matter of fact. And we can get so
- 9:20Speaker 3: riled up, especially when it comes to false prophets, especially
- 9:24Speaker 3: when it comes to correcting biblically. I've had people, even
- 9:29Speaker 3: in my ministry with the club, they prophesied against it,
- 9:34Speaker 3: almost like they're smacking their lips when they wanted to
- 9:38Speaker 3: bring corrections. But I believe it was more out of
- 9:44Speaker 3: an envious heart than a loving heart to try to
- 9:48Speaker 3: restore me and keep the ministry on the right path.
- 9:53Speaker 3: It was almost like a rejoicing that we had to
- 9:57Speaker 3: shut down.
- 9:57Speaker 2: And close the doors.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Right that is not the heart of God God's heart
- 10:05Speaker 3: is the person who will come broken with the message
- 10:11Speaker 3: amen of correction verse 10 4 The land is full
- 10:19Speaker 3: of adulterers. For because of a curse, the land mourns.
- 10:29Speaker 3: The pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up. Their
- 10:39Speaker 3: courses of life is evil and their might is not right. Hallelujah.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Their land is full of adulterers. The corruption wasn't limited
- 11:00Speaker 3: just to the prophets. He said that the land was full.
- 11:06Speaker 3: The entire nation was affected by bad teaching, by false teachings.
- 11:19Speaker 3: The leaders are corrupt and their influence was spreading that
- 11:23Speaker 3: corruption throughout the people. What leaders normalize, people can eventually accept.
- 11:39Speaker 3: That's why influence carries responsibility.
- 11:45Speaker 2: I know that.
- 11:47Speaker 3: We may be at the end of the social media
- 11:51Speaker 3: influence era, but we still have celebrities. We still have leaders.
- 11:59Speaker 3: We still have people that are called to a large
- 12:08Speaker 3: group of people. And we have to be careful with
- 12:13Speaker 3: that because whatever we're dealing with, can spew on the
- 12:19Speaker 3: people that we're trying to reach. If we're trying to
- 12:23Speaker 3: minister and we are living a life of sin, of compromise,
- 12:26Speaker 3: if our godliness is just for a pretend or for show,
- 12:30Speaker 3: we're godly in church, but we're not godly in private,
- 12:35Speaker 3: in our private homes. We're beating on our wives and children.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Our wives are disrespectful. The children are rebellious. The children
- 12:44Speaker 3: can see and they know When they come against hypocrisy. Right?
- 12:53Speaker 3: We got to be careful because we can affect. It's
- 12:58Speaker 3: like we are opening a portal and we're allowing demons
- 13:02Speaker 3: to come feast. People don't understand it's spiritual warfare. Demons
- 13:06Speaker 3: feast on bad emotions. They love the contention in marriage.
- 13:11Speaker 3: They love the rebellion in our children. They love dysfunction.
- 13:17Speaker 3: They thrive in it. They love the filth. The energy
- 13:21Speaker 3: of it gives them fuel to where they get stronger.
- 13:26Speaker 3: The spirit in us, the Holy Spirit, gets weaker. We
- 13:35Speaker 3: have to be careful how we live. We have to
- 13:37Speaker 3: be careful to live in obedience. If we are in leadership,
- 13:46Speaker 3: is a stricter and a higher accountability. So because of
- 13:51Speaker 3: these false prophets, the whole nation.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Went astray.
- 13:57Speaker 3: And they have to give an account.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Amen.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Verse 11, for both prophet and priests are profane. Yes,
- 14:11Speaker 3: in my house, I have found their wickedness. Says the Lord. Wow.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Both prophet and priest. In my house, I have found
- 14:28Speaker 3: their wickedness in the house of God. Now their wickedness
- 14:36Speaker 3: was being found in the bold part about it in
- 14:42Speaker 3: his very own house. Now, this is sobering. You can
- 14:49Speaker 3: have a church building. You can have a ministry, a podcast,
- 14:53Speaker 3: a radio station, a record label or a Christian platform.
- 15:02Speaker 3: But the label doesn't automatically make everything happening in the
- 15:10Speaker 3: label holy. God examines the message, the motive and the
- 15:19Speaker 3: character of every minister, every pastor. I've heard it said
- 15:28Speaker 3: I've been around a lot of Christian ministries. Should I
- 15:34Speaker 3: say Christian hip hop ministries and artists? I've been an
- 15:37Speaker 3: artist myself and I've heard it said that at Christian. Now,
- 15:42Speaker 3: these are Christian. concerts i've been to the stellars i've
- 15:47Speaker 3: been on the red carpet when the stellars are in
- 15:52Speaker 3: vegas i've been behind the scenes i've met people like
- 15:57Speaker 3: kurt franklin and i met mary mary i've got pictures
- 16:01Speaker 3: with them and i mean you see all these things
- 16:04Speaker 3: you know i don't boast and brag about it because
- 16:06Speaker 3: it's not about where i've been and who i've met
- 16:10Speaker 3: and the celebrities i've worked with It's all about our
- 16:15Speaker 3: relationship with the Lord. And what I've heard and what
- 16:20Speaker 3: I've seen was a lot of corruption, a lot of
- 16:23Speaker 3: drug use, alcohol use, a lot of sexual immoral acts,
- 16:29Speaker 3: a lot of rampant homosexuality in these settings. And even myself,
- 16:38Speaker 3: my godliness can be a display I can sound godly
- 16:44Speaker 3: on this podcast. I can look godly online. The fact
- 16:49Speaker 3: that we opened up a Christian club and everything we
- 16:52Speaker 3: had going, but I fell into compromise as well. I
- 17:00Speaker 3: idolized the platform. I spent little time in prayer when
- 17:05Speaker 3: things were real busy. You know, prayer is still a
- 17:08Speaker 3: struggle at times, but to whom much is given, much
- 17:15Speaker 3: is required. If I chose not to apply these things
- 17:21Speaker 3: that I teach on this platform, don't seek the Lord
- 17:25Speaker 3: in private, don't love my wife or my children if
- 17:28Speaker 3: I'm a selfish person and not, and I can still
- 17:32Speaker 3: have a Christian platform, but then I will be held
- 17:35Speaker 3: accountable and hell is way too high. I ain't going
- 17:39Speaker 3: to hell for nobody.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Amen.
- 17:42Speaker 3: This is not to condemn anyone or even myself because
- 17:46Speaker 3: God's mercies are new every morning. But we just have
- 17:49Speaker 3: to make sure our hearts are not looking to the
- 17:53Speaker 3: grace of God to excuse a life of sin or disobedience.
- 17:58Speaker 3: But we tap into the grace of God so that
- 18:00Speaker 3: we could turn from a life of sin and disobedience
- 18:05Speaker 3: and draw closer to him. And today, every day that
- 18:09Speaker 3: we have is another opportunity. to be saved and to
- 18:14Speaker 3: be closer to the Lord.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Amen.
- 18:16Speaker 3: You see our salvation is a process of sanctification. It's
- 18:27Speaker 3: not say a prayer and then you live how you want. No,
- 18:31Speaker 3: we have to continuously. We got is preparing us to
- 18:35Speaker 3: enter into the kingdom of heaven. We could forfeit that.
- 18:39Speaker 3: If we choose to love this world, More than we
- 18:43Speaker 3: love God and his kingdom. And that's what's going on
- 18:48Speaker 3: with these. False prophets. Even though they had the platform.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Somehow they went astray in their hearts. In verse 12.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Therefore their way shall be to them like slippery ways.
- 19:07Speaker 3: In the darkness they shall be driven. On. and fall
- 19:14Speaker 3: in them, for I will bring disaster on them. The
- 19:18Speaker 3: year of their punishment says the Lord. Wherefore their way
- 19:28Speaker 3: shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness.
- 19:32Speaker 3: God compares their path to walking on slippery ground. In
- 19:39Speaker 3: the darkness, like walking on thin ice. I've been told
- 19:42Speaker 3: that before. I haven't been told that on my job.
- 19:46Speaker 3: I've been told that in ministry and relationships like yours.
- 19:50Speaker 3: walking on slippery ground you are about to fall and
- 19:55Speaker 3: stumble compromise makes the path increasingly dangerous Now, one compromise
- 20:07Speaker 3: can lead to another until the person no longer recognize
- 20:11Speaker 3: how far they've moved from truth.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Amen.
- 20:16Speaker 3: There's always a progression. It's one small decision here. Maybe
- 20:22Speaker 3: I'll tell a lie here or maybe I'll steal something small.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Or maybe I'll just take a quick look and I'll
- 20:29Speaker 3: just look a little bit, knowing that we should turn away.
- 20:35Speaker 3: These small things can quickly add up. Verse 13. And
- 20:44Speaker 3: I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria. They
- 20:50Speaker 3: prophesied by Baal and caused my people Israel to err.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Now this is serious.
- 21:00Speaker 3: No wonder why Jeremiah's heart was breaking so When he
- 21:05Speaker 3: was bringing his message. And I have seen. Falling in
- 21:11Speaker 3: the prophets.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Right.
- 21:13Speaker 3: God points. Back to the prophets of Samaria. Now they embrace.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Bowel worship.
- 21:21Speaker 2: And caused.
- 21:22Speaker 3: God's people. To go. Astray.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Now they.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Were not just. Simply making. Private.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Mistakes.
- 21:33Speaker 3: They're. Teaching. was influenced by other people. Now we have
- 21:43Speaker 3: to be careful because the enemy can influence us and
- 21:47Speaker 3: the enemy can empower us. The enemy loves to counterfeit
- 21:53Speaker 3: the kingdom of God. Now the Bible tells us that
- 21:58Speaker 3: our gifts are without repentance. So just because you have
- 22:03Speaker 3: a gift to prophesy. Some people may have spiritual insight
- 22:09Speaker 3: and some people can be very accurate. I mean, look
- 22:12Speaker 3: at these psychics and these fortune tellers and it's all
- 22:20Speaker 3: a part of witchcraft. You can go to a psychic
- 22:23Speaker 3: or a fortune teller, somebody who's gifted in this stuff.
- 22:28Speaker 3: And if they've given themselves over to the enemy, they
- 22:30Speaker 3: can give you accurate information. They can talk about your
- 22:34Speaker 3: Dead grandmother, they could be accurate. They could talk about
- 22:37Speaker 3: a family member, your history, things going on in your life.
- 22:41Speaker 3: But just because they're accurate doesn't mean that they are
- 22:49Speaker 3: speaking on God's behalf. Familiar spirits know your past. They
- 22:55Speaker 3: know your family line. They know your history. The enemy
- 22:59Speaker 3: studies us. And he sends monitoring spirits to monitor our lives.
- 23:07Speaker 3: And the enemy has power to influence some type of
- 23:12Speaker 3: a witch or a warlock to get your information and
- 23:16Speaker 3: to target you, to bring you down. And so that's
- 23:21Speaker 3: why through prayer and worship, we have to dismantle every
- 23:28Speaker 3: threat of the enemy. So we really need discernment, especially
- 23:36Speaker 3: in the days we're living in, because the Bible says
- 23:38Speaker 3: that evil men will wax worse and worse. There's always
- 23:41Speaker 3: a progression. It'll start out with a small compromise and
- 23:46Speaker 3: then it will lead to a place. You'll go further
- 23:50Speaker 3: than you're willing to go and you'll pay more than
- 23:53Speaker 3: what you're willing to spend and you'll stay longer than
- 23:58Speaker 3: you were willing to stay. We start off thinking that
- 24:01Speaker 3: we can control it, think we can handle it. But
- 24:05Speaker 3: when we find ourselves in trouble, in bondage, that's when
- 24:10Speaker 3: we need to cry out to the Lord.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Amen.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Hallelujah. Verse 14. Also, I've seen a horrible thing in
- 24:21Speaker 3: the prophets of Jerusalem. They commit adultery and walk in lies.
- 24:29Speaker 3: They also strengthen the hands of evildoers so that no
- 24:35Speaker 3: one turns back from his wickedness. All of them are
- 24:41Speaker 3: like Sodom to me and her inhabitants like Gomorrah. And
- 24:49Speaker 3: as we know, Sodom and Gomorrah were morally corrupted. They
- 24:55Speaker 3: were guilty of the sin of homosexuality don't let anyone
- 25:00Speaker 3: lie and try to twist the scriptures it was homosexuality
- 25:06Speaker 3: that brought destruction on that nation and Sodom and Gomorrah
- 25:13Speaker 3: has always been a standard of when our iniquity and
- 25:19Speaker 3: wickedness our full judgment shall follow See, God waits until
- 25:28Speaker 3: a certain level and then judgment is unavailable, right? Now,
- 25:39Speaker 3: I have seen also the prophets of Jerusalem, a horrible thing.
- 25:44Speaker 3: They committed adultery. Now, this can be spiritual as well
- 25:48Speaker 3: as physical. Both of them will send you to the
- 25:52Speaker 3: pits of hell. You cheat. You sleep with someone's wife.
- 25:56Speaker 3: That is idolatry and there's spiritual adultery when you worship
- 26:00Speaker 3: other gods and you have committed yourself to the true
- 26:04Speaker 3: and living God. When we walk in lies and even
- 26:08Speaker 3: strengthen the hands of evildoers, this is deep. These are
- 26:13Speaker 3: the leaders and these are the prophets that are doing
- 26:16Speaker 3: these things. Now, this is probably the most disturbing part
- 26:22Speaker 3: that the prophets were committing the adultery. The prophets were
- 26:26Speaker 3: walking in the lies and strengthening the evildoers. Instead of
- 26:29Speaker 3: calling people to repentance, they were making it easier for
- 26:34Speaker 3: people to remain in their sin. Now, beloved, false comfort
- 26:44Speaker 3: can be more dangerous than honest correction. Let me say
- 26:48Speaker 3: that again. False comfort is more dangerous than an honest correction.
- 26:58Speaker 3: I've had to have conversations with people before as brothers
- 27:05Speaker 3: and sisters, if we really love God, right? And we
- 27:08Speaker 3: really love the people, right? People want to come and
- 27:14Speaker 3: they want to bring their sin before our face, you know,
- 27:19Speaker 3: as ministers, right? And people want to bring their little
- 27:25Speaker 3: homosexuality or they want to smoke their weed. I've had
- 27:29Speaker 3: an artist that wanted to be a part of the ministry.
- 27:32Speaker 3: And she invited me out to, uh, the wetlands. If
- 27:37Speaker 3: you know where the wetlands, it's like a park, but
- 27:39Speaker 3: it's like, uh, out in the middle of the desert.
- 27:42Speaker 3: And she said she got tired of hiding her weed smoking.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Like she wanted to be up front. So she wanted
- 27:49Speaker 3: to smoke weed in front of me. So she invited
- 27:52Speaker 3: me out to the park and she, smoked her weed
- 27:55Speaker 3: or whatever and trying to at least be honest about
- 27:58Speaker 3: it and let me know. I told her, okay, I
- 28:01Speaker 3: appreciate you showing me this, but you can't be in ministry.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Like I can't put you on a platform until you
- 28:09Speaker 3: repent and get this right. And she was also dealing
- 28:13Speaker 3: with homosexuality and I was working with her, discipling her.
- 28:19Speaker 3: She was repenting. She wanted to turn from that. Because
- 28:23Speaker 3: I gave her honest correction and I've lost relationships because
- 28:29Speaker 3: people wanted to live the way they wanted to live.
- 28:32Speaker 3: But I told him, I'm like, look, that is sin.
- 28:35Speaker 3: And God will judge that lifestyle. And people walked away
- 28:39Speaker 3: from me and had attitudes. But I'd rather be honest
- 28:46Speaker 3: and correct them than give them false comfort. Let them know, oh,
- 28:51Speaker 3: it's okay. God knows your heart. It's fine. You can
- 28:56Speaker 3: do ministry.
- 28:57Speaker 2: You can do this.
- 28:58Speaker 3: You can do that or the other.
- 28:59Speaker 2: No.
- 29:01Speaker 3: We have to be bold enough, even if we might
- 29:03Speaker 3: lose a relationship, we have to be bold enough to
- 29:08Speaker 3: speak the truth. Sometimes we can say in love, you're
- 29:16Speaker 3: doing great. But sometimes, sometimes love says this isn't right.
- 29:24Speaker 3: We need to deal with this. Right. We need to
- 29:27Speaker 3: call it on the carpet. And I'm in the place
- 29:29Speaker 3: in my life where I'm tired and I'm fed up
- 29:32Speaker 3: with the enemy. I am fed up with the enemy
- 29:36Speaker 3: taking territory that does not belong to him. So I'm
- 29:40Speaker 3: going to be calling the fast in prayer. And, you know,
- 29:45Speaker 3: if we're dealing with things in our marriage, for me,
- 29:48Speaker 3: it's marriage. There are things that I am dealing with
- 29:51Speaker 3: in my marriage. And I'm going to fast and pray
- 29:56Speaker 3: that God will turn these things around because I'm getting mad.
- 30:03Speaker 3: And it's a holy anger that the enemy is still
- 30:08Speaker 3: doing things that he has no right to do. He
- 30:11Speaker 3: only has authority to do things because we allow him
- 30:17Speaker 3: that authority.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Amen.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Verse 15. Therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts concerning
- 30:26Speaker 3: the prophets. Behold, I will feed them with wormwood and
- 30:32Speaker 3: make them drink the water of Gal. For from the
- 30:36Speaker 3: prophets of Jerusalem profaneness has gone out into all the land.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Amen.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Now, let's break this verse down. Therefore, thus says the
- 30:55Speaker 3: Lord of hosts concerning the prophets, Behold, I will feed
- 30:59Speaker 3: them with wormwood, Now that sounds bitter. I don't want
- 31:06Speaker 3: to be eating no wormwood and make them drink the
- 31:09Speaker 3: water of gall. That sounds even more bitter, right? But
- 31:19Speaker 3: God here is announcing judgment against these prophets. God is
- 31:25Speaker 3: going directly to the source of the corruptions. They've been
- 31:30Speaker 3: given the people's spiritual poison instead of truth. Now they
- 31:38Speaker 3: would face the consequences of their own corruption. Now that's
- 31:45Speaker 3: sobering as well. So if we.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Allow people.
- 31:52Speaker 3: To be comfortable in their sin and we don't correct them,
- 31:56Speaker 3: we don't challenge them. We are bringing judgment on our
- 31:59Speaker 3: own selves. Now that is scary by itself. We can
- 32:07Speaker 3: get on our platforms and we can say, oh, your
- 32:11Speaker 3: sin is okay. Just live your lifestyle.
- 32:13Speaker 2: This and any other.
- 32:15Speaker 3: And we are considered worse than them because we know
- 32:20Speaker 3: the truth and we are strengthening them in their sin.
- 32:27Speaker 3: A lot of pastors are going to have a lot
- 32:29Speaker 3: of to account for just think about the United States
- 32:37Speaker 3: of America think about the darkness that is coming on
- 32:42Speaker 3: the land today think about where we've started as a
- 32:46Speaker 3: nation the Christian influence was strong but the leaders started
- 32:56Speaker 3: to corrupt And I'm talking about, I'm not talking about politicians.
- 33:01Speaker 3: I'm talking about the leaders in the church, the pastors
- 33:05Speaker 3: and the prophets, the evangelists, the five-fold ministry became corrupted.
- 33:14Speaker 3: They want it to be seeker friendly, which I don't
- 33:18Speaker 3: know where that came from. We need to be Holy
- 33:21Speaker 3: Spirit friendly. God has called us to correct our ways.
- 33:29Speaker 3: God has called us to change. That's what repentance is
- 33:35Speaker 3: all about. God, Jesus would say all the time in
- 33:40Speaker 3: the New Testament, go and sin no more. Now, he
- 33:45Speaker 3: would not give us a commandment without giving us the
- 33:48Speaker 3: power to fulfill his commandment. We just need to seek
- 33:53Speaker 3: him for the grace to get over whatever sin is
- 33:57Speaker 3: befalling us. So we have to constantly examine ourselves and
- 34:07Speaker 3: we have to constantly judge ourselves according to scripture and
- 34:15Speaker 3: according to the word. And we have to be bold
- 34:18Speaker 3: enough to confront ourselves.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Amen.
- 34:22Speaker 3: Or we could go the way of the false prophets. Now,
- 34:31Speaker 3: this passage emphasizes the serious responsibility of anyone who claims
- 34:38Speaker 3: to speak for God. Wow, could that even include me
- 34:43Speaker 3: on this podcast? I consider this a Bible study because
- 34:49Speaker 3: we need the word.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Amen.
- 34:52Speaker 3: But then I'm in the position to where I'm speaking
- 34:56Speaker 3: on God's behalf. to those who are listening to this podcast. Now,
- 35:04Speaker 3: these prophets that we're reading about were not seriously, they
- 35:08Speaker 3: were not simply mistaken, but their lives were corrupt. Their
- 35:14Speaker 3: message was deceptive and they were leading others away from God.
- 35:24Speaker 3: So instead of comforting sin and calling people to repentance,
- 35:30Speaker 3: I mean, excuse me, not comforting, but instead of confronting
- 35:36Speaker 3: their sin is what I'm trying to say in calling
- 35:38Speaker 3: people to repentance. They gave people false assurance. So the
- 35:47Speaker 3: lesson is clear here. Those who teach God's word must
- 35:54Speaker 3: take the responsibility serious, not lightly.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Amen.
- 36:04Speaker 3: Now this applies far beyond ancient Israel, right? Today we
- 36:09Speaker 3: have pastors, teachers, artists, podcasters, YouTubers, influencers, and ministry leaders
- 36:18Speaker 3: with thousands or even millions of people listening to them.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Amen.
- 36:25Speaker 3: I would love to grow this platform. I see hundreds,
- 36:29Speaker 3: of people who tune in throughout the world. I'm not at,
- 36:33Speaker 3: at least I don't think we're at thousands of listeners
- 36:36Speaker 3: or even millions. Even though that's my desire to reach
- 36:41Speaker 3: that many people, the reality is that increases the responsibility.
- 36:52Speaker 3: And so I believe it's God's grace that he doesn't
- 36:55Speaker 3: give me a larger platform until I He works out
- 36:59Speaker 3: things in my life and things in my marriage and
- 37:03Speaker 3: things that need to be worked out so that I
- 37:05Speaker 3: won't have a greater judgment or responsibility before him. I mean,
- 37:11Speaker 3: I have enough. I don't care if it's one person listening,
- 37:15Speaker 3: that is still responsibility. But my point is, God will
- 37:19Speaker 3: still work on our character before he gives us the
- 37:21Speaker 3: bigger platform. And I appreciate that. But the question is simply,
- 37:31Speaker 3: do I have a platform? The question is not, do
- 37:40Speaker 3: I have a platform? But the question is, what am
- 37:43Speaker 3: I doing with the platform God is giving me? It
- 37:47Speaker 3: could just be leading your family, right? To walk with God.
- 37:57Speaker 3: So before we say God said, we need to know
- 38:01Speaker 3: God actually said it. That's why I'm careful when I
- 38:06Speaker 3: try to prophesy. I've been told that I'm a prophet.
- 38:10Speaker 3: God revealed to me that I was a prophet in prayer.
- 38:15Speaker 3: But I take it seriously. I don't just willy nilly
- 38:19Speaker 3: just throw out prophecies out there. I try my best
- 38:23Speaker 3: to be accurate if I do give a word and
- 38:26Speaker 3: I feel the Holy Spirit put it on my heart
- 38:28Speaker 3: to say something to somebody. I take it very seriously.
- 38:34Speaker 3: Before teaching others, we need to be willing to study ourselves. Amen.
- 38:42Speaker 3: Before we correct someone, we need to examine our own
- 38:46Speaker 3: hearts and And before leading people, we need to make
- 38:52Speaker 3: sure we are following Christ.
- 38:59Speaker 2: Amen.
- 39:02Speaker 3: We need to apply it before we attempt to apply
- 39:08Speaker 3: it to others. All right. Time for a break. You
- 39:14Speaker 3: are listening to The Light of Las Vegas. This is
- 39:18Speaker 3: It's the His Hop Radio Show.
- 39:20Speaker 4: I don't even know.
- 39:23Speaker 3: How this works, God.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Do I stand? Do I kneel?
- 39:29Speaker 4: Am I supposed to do this at.
- 39:33Speaker 2: A church or a priest?
- 39:34Speaker 3: Or Father?
- 39:35Speaker 2: Or in heaven? Hallowed be thy name.
- 39:42Speaker 4: And it just feels so fake.
- 39:47Speaker 3: God, I just need you to listen to me.
- 39:59Speaker 4: To do my life is a lie yo i have
- 40:02Speaker 4: been hiding behind the disguise yo a giant facade yo
- 40:05Speaker 4: they might think i'm fine but i'm dying inside the
- 40:08Speaker 4: advice i was getting was trying to get rich and
- 40:10Speaker 4: get fly for the chicks to get high and i.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Listen but i get I am in.
- 40:20Speaker 4: Need of grace.
- 40:20Speaker 3: I'm asking in Jesus' name.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Can you save me? I don't want to be the same.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Can you lead the way?
- 40:26Speaker 4: It's your love that.
- 40:27Speaker 2: Can take this disease away. On my knees I pray.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Come on. Coming with your Holy Ghost.
- 40:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Don't know if it's the end it do. Yeah. Coming
- 40:50Speaker 2: with your Holy Ghost. Yeah.
- 41:10Speaker 4: Please do what a surgeon does with his patients. Open
- 41:14Speaker 4: me up and replace this heart because it is corrupted
- 41:16Speaker 4: so take it.
- 41:17Speaker 2: It's so full of lust that it's aching.
- 41:19Speaker 4: Do what a potter does with his clay wind. He
- 41:21Speaker 4: takes a club and creates his art with his love
- 41:24Speaker 4: and touch he gets shaping.
- 41:25Speaker 3: From nothing to something amazing.
- 41:27Speaker 4: Do what an artist does.
- 41:28Speaker 2: With his paintings.
- 41:29Speaker 4: That need a touch up and make Your brush, you
- 41:34Speaker 4: can save it My homie said you loved and embraced
- 41:37Speaker 4: him And there is nothing to chase And Lord, if
- 41:39Speaker 4: you really love me the same thing Can you help
- 41:41Speaker 4: me unplug from the matrix? Father, I'm done I don't
- 41:44Speaker 4: like what I have become I spent too much time
- 41:46Speaker 4: on the run But despite my foolery, you keep pursuing
- 41:49Speaker 4: me And I'm just tired of fighting you one I
- 41:51Speaker 4: wave the white flag Help me stay on the right
- 41:53Speaker 4: path I am ashamed of my past But my homie
- 41:56Speaker 4: told me you forgive anybody That calls on the Savior
- 41:58Speaker 4: So I ask.
- 41:59Speaker 2: My God Please tell me Don't love is the end of.
- 42:23Speaker 4: Time That's where I found everything I've ever wanted, bro. Grace, mercy, forgiveness, joy, peace, fulfillment,
- 42:39Speaker 4: and purpose.
- 42:40Speaker 2: It was all in Jesus.
- 42:42Speaker 4: The day you remember died that day, bro. He ain't
- 42:45Speaker 4: never coming back. He found an antidote in Christ.
- 42:49Speaker 3: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 42:53Speaker 3: is the His Hop Radio Show. Yo, yo, we are
- 43:14Speaker 3: back from the music break. That's our brother Dayton with
- 43:19Speaker 3: the song Antidote on our musical break on the podcast.
- 43:26Speaker 3: We appreciate y'all. A quick shout out to the live chat.
- 43:30Speaker 3: Shout out to our brother Zone 3. My brother Zone
- 43:33Speaker 3: has been waiting for us to come back for my
- 43:39Speaker 3: little trip, a little getaway we had. So appreciate you
- 43:45Speaker 3: brothers seeing you back in the live chat. Our brother
- 43:47Speaker 3: Kermit has been showing up. He's been letting us know
- 43:50Speaker 3: his work schedule. He's been popping in there.
- 43:54Speaker 2: Amen.
- 43:54Speaker 3: We have a lot of listeners out there, but we
- 43:56Speaker 3: want y'all to log into the live chat. So that
- 44:00Speaker 3: we can give you a shout out. So we can
- 44:01Speaker 3: build our community. So that we can pray for each other.
- 44:05Speaker 3: So that we can encourage each other. And. Just like
- 44:12Speaker 3: today's episode. Bring that godly correction when necessary. It's a
- 44:17Speaker 3: safeguard for us. It's safe. I want to shout out
- 44:20Speaker 3: also my brother D. I've been working with him in ministry.
- 44:24Speaker 3: And lately we've been.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Um.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Developing a brotherhood and I've been able to just openly
- 44:31Speaker 3: share a few things with him and he's been giving
- 44:34Speaker 3: some godly counsel some godly words so we all need
- 44:37Speaker 3: that we all need that father in the faith and
- 44:42Speaker 3: he was telling me that discipleship is forever like you
- 44:45Speaker 3: never get to the point even though I've been walking
- 44:47Speaker 3: this walk for a long time I still need someone
- 44:51Speaker 3: to speak into my life just as well as all
- 44:54Speaker 3: of us our wives, our brothers. We need to pray
- 45:00Speaker 3: for our wives that a godly woman can come and
- 45:04Speaker 3: speak and minister to them as well as our children,
- 45:10Speaker 3: that other children around them, godly children will be pouring
- 45:15Speaker 3: into their lives. That's discipleship.
- 45:19Speaker 2: Amen.
- 45:21Speaker 3: And even if there's not someone around, we need to
- 45:24Speaker 3: be pouring into our own lives by studying the word.
- 45:29Speaker 2: Amen.
- 45:32Speaker 3: And then go find someone else that you can pour into.
- 45:36Speaker 3: That's how the kingdom of God advances.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Amen.
- 45:42Speaker 3: So yeah, shout out to the live chat. That is
- 45:45Speaker 3: our motive. That is our desire is to pour into
- 45:48Speaker 3: others as a login, join the online community, all that
- 45:54Speaker 3: good stuff. This is a tool that, for that purpose.
- 45:58Speaker 2: Amen.
- 46:01Speaker 3: Now, with that being said, it's time for our accountability
- 46:05Speaker 3: partner segment.
- 46:08Speaker 2: Amen.
- 46:09Speaker 3: This is where we hold each other accountable. Like I
- 46:14Speaker 3: was just talking about. So call, text, or email your
- 46:20Speaker 3: accountability partner. Hopefully you do have someone that can pour
- 46:27Speaker 3: into your life that you can fight in and just
- 46:31Speaker 3: share with.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Them, you know what I mean?
- 46:33Speaker 3: Just your heart so that we can make sure God's
- 46:37Speaker 3: word is where it's supposed to be, right? And we
- 46:41Speaker 3: give out daily challenges so you can find it in
- 46:44Speaker 3: the community as well as in the live chat. So
- 46:49Speaker 3: today's challenge is ask your partner, am I telling people
- 46:53Speaker 3: what God says Or am I sometimes telling them what
- 46:57Speaker 3: I think they want to hear? That is a good
- 47:02Speaker 3: topic to talk about and to examine ourselves with, right?
- 47:08Speaker 3: Them ask, am I easy to be corrected? Or is
- 47:15Speaker 3: it difficult? Sometimes you don't want to correct a person
- 47:18Speaker 3: because the person will turn around and correct you. That's
- 47:21Speaker 3: the mark of a fool. I mean, I correct you,
- 47:24Speaker 3: but attack you. Some people will be offended because we
- 47:28Speaker 3: try to correct them. And some people is like, man,
- 47:32Speaker 3: it's like the Bible, even the read the book of Proverbs.
- 47:34Speaker 3: It tells you you can't even speak to a fool.
- 47:37Speaker 3: But it says a wise man will love you when
- 47:42Speaker 3: you bring the correction. It says, give them the permission
- 47:47Speaker 3: to answer honestly and be willing to listen. And man,
- 47:52Speaker 3: if we go through these steps, it will save our bacon.
- 47:55Speaker 3: This is very important to go through these things. And man,
- 48:00Speaker 3: this is a part of the process. Because it's easy
- 48:05Speaker 3: for us, like we can easily read something and then
- 48:08Speaker 3: try to ignore it or forget it. But we're supposed
- 48:11Speaker 3: to wrestle through it. We're supposed to, it's like a
- 48:13Speaker 3: math problem. We're supposed to apply this to our lives
- 48:17Speaker 3: and to figure these things out.
- 48:19Speaker 2: Amen. Amen.
- 48:25Speaker 3: Also, I want to let you know that His Hot
- 48:27Speaker 3: Radio is a monitored and a recording reporting radio station.
- 48:31Speaker 3: If you'd like to send us some music, go to
- 48:35Speaker 3: our website, hishotnation.com at the submissions tab. Submit your music,
- 48:40Speaker 3: go through all the information. We've had some submissions lately
- 48:46Speaker 3: over there, so we're going to go through the music.
- 48:50Speaker 3: If it passes our little review, then You will hear
- 48:57Speaker 3: new music on the radio station. Hopefully you're listening 24
- 49:00Speaker 3: seven on the station. Yes, we do have a podcast,
- 49:04Speaker 3: but we have a radio station that plays. We have
- 49:07Speaker 3: a whole media app. So we have radio. We have video.
- 49:12Speaker 3: We have everything you need to be successful in this walk.
- 49:15Speaker 3: So please download the app. and hit us up on
- 49:19Speaker 3: our website hishopnation.com if you're submitting music check out some
- 49:24Speaker 3: of our promo packages they help sustain our ministry and
- 49:28Speaker 3: they're very affordable compared to some of the other packages
- 49:33Speaker 3: out there amen Alright, well, I want to get everyone
- 49:43Speaker 3: to head on over to the community. If you're in
- 49:50Speaker 3: the live chat, head over to the community because it's
- 49:52Speaker 3: time for our trivia challenge. I want to give another
- 49:58Speaker 3: shout out to our brother Zone. He has been our
- 50:00Speaker 3: trivia champion. Today, hopefully it's a little more challenging. My
- 50:06Speaker 3: wife I said she needed harder questions. So the first
- 50:12Speaker 3: to answer the correct question is the champ for today.
- 50:16Speaker 3: The question is, according to these verses, how were the
- 50:20Speaker 3: prophets of Samaria different from the prophets of Jerusalem? And
- 50:27Speaker 3: what specific actions of the Jerusalem prophets caused God to
- 50:35Speaker 3: call their behavior A horrible thing. Now, if you have
- 50:42Speaker 3: to read passage carefully and find the answers. Like I say,
- 50:48Speaker 3: today's challenge is a little more challenging. You can find
- 50:52Speaker 3: it in the community. Answer it there. Be the first
- 50:57Speaker 3: one and you are the champ for today. All right,
- 51:02Speaker 3: time for the community shout out. This is where we
- 51:05Speaker 3: give you updates of our actions, our whereabouts in the
- 51:09Speaker 3: upcoming events. We also like to share if you have
- 51:14Speaker 3: events and things going on. We would like to announce
- 51:20Speaker 3: that as well, but you got to let us know.
- 51:23Speaker 3: So as I said earlier, we just came back from
- 51:26Speaker 3: our cruise and we had some ups and downs. We
- 51:29Speaker 3: went to the Bahamas. And actually, we had, I don't
- 51:38Speaker 3: want to say a bad experience in the Bahamas, but
- 51:41Speaker 3: we were going through the shops. You know, it was
- 51:43Speaker 3: a little hot muggy on the island and the children
- 51:45Speaker 3: were complaining a little bit about that. It was a
- 51:48Speaker 3: lot of walking as well. We didn't really make it
- 51:50Speaker 3: to the beach, but we went through their shops and
- 51:54Speaker 3: we went to get souvenirs and different things.
- 51:56Speaker 2: And then.
- 51:58Speaker 3: We went to the ATM machine. to pull out cash
- 52:03Speaker 3: and the machine took my debit card so we had
- 52:07Speaker 3: to walk like five blocks to go to the bank
- 52:11Speaker 3: because the people were not responsible for the machine the
- 52:14Speaker 3: security guard kind of told us how to get there
- 52:18Speaker 3: and then the bank told us well we cannot get
- 52:20Speaker 3: it until like three o'clock and we had to be
- 52:22Speaker 3: back on the boat by five and so that kind
- 52:26Speaker 3: of cut our time short on island And the family
- 52:33Speaker 3: and the children, they were ready just to go back
- 52:34Speaker 3: on the boat. There was a lot of activities on
- 52:36Speaker 3: the boat we could do. So that was our Bahama experience.
- 52:42Speaker 3: But we had a lot of fun on the boat.
- 52:44Speaker 3: There were a lot of things that, you know, like
- 52:48Speaker 3: I said, we could do on the boat.
- 52:50Speaker 2: We could eat.
- 52:50Speaker 3: We could go swimming and different things like that. Uh,
- 52:57Speaker 3: we went to the Bahamas and we went to Coco Cay.
- 53:00Speaker 3: Coco Cay was like a private Island. Um, we didn't, uh,
- 53:04Speaker 3: purchase any excursions or anything like that. Uh, we just went,
- 53:09Speaker 3: the water was kind of cold. So we just kind of,
- 53:12Speaker 3: I guess it's a little different when you travel with children,
- 53:15Speaker 3: you know, children are kind of picky nowadays and what
- 53:19Speaker 3: they want to do.
- 53:20Speaker 2: But overall, it.
- 53:22Speaker 3: Was a great experience. I enjoyed it. But traveling, we
- 53:26Speaker 3: have four kids, right? So traveling with four kids makes
- 53:30Speaker 3: it a little different from just traveling with your spouse.
- 53:36Speaker 3: So it was cool. Like I said, we had some
- 53:37Speaker 3: ups and downs. The cruise, the boat was great. We
- 53:43Speaker 3: took Carnival the first time we cruised. This is our
- 53:47Speaker 3: second time. And we took the Royal Caribbean. It was
- 53:51Speaker 3: a bigger boat. This boat was large. A lot to explore.
- 53:56Speaker 3: We haven't explored everything on it. But we appreciate your prayers.
- 54:02Speaker 3: God brought us back safely. And so we just want
- 54:07Speaker 3: to give you an update. That's why we were gone
- 54:09Speaker 3: for a week. We took a little family getaway.
- 54:11Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 54:13Speaker 3: Next time we'll probably just go without the children. I
- 54:18Speaker 3: don't know. I guess I have to pray about that
- 54:20Speaker 3: and talk to my wife about that. Or we'll take
- 54:23Speaker 3: the children to closer places instead of way out there.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Right.
- 54:29Speaker 3: But also we have an event actually coming up tomorrow,
- 54:33Speaker 3: October the 6th. We're going to be in town square.
- 54:37Speaker 3: We are participating with Metro their national night out. We're
- 54:42Speaker 3: going to have our, so everyone's seen a situation out there.
- 54:47Speaker 3: People are going to be available to be able to
- 54:50Speaker 3: paint and, They're going to sit down. I'm going to
- 54:52Speaker 3: be there with his table. I'm not going to be DJing,
- 54:56Speaker 3: but I'll be passing out flyers and bringing awareness about
- 55:00Speaker 3: our organization and things like that. So if you want
- 55:04Speaker 3: to come out and volunteer or just visit us and
- 55:07Speaker 3: check us out, we will be at the town square
- 55:11Speaker 3: tomorrow night. So, yeah, we came back from the cruise
- 55:13Speaker 3: and we're hitting the ground running. We do have another
- 55:17Speaker 3: event coming up this month. but I have to get
- 55:21Speaker 3: the info. Just got back from the cruise, so I
- 55:25Speaker 3: have to get all the details so I can share
- 55:27Speaker 3: that with y'all. I do have the flyer, but I
- 55:30Speaker 3: got to put it out there and update the website.
- 55:34Speaker 3: So check us out on that.
- 55:40Speaker 2: Amen.
- 55:41Speaker 3: Also, we want to let you know that His Hop
- 55:42Speaker 3: Nation is a nonprofit organization of 501c3. We are looking
- 55:47Speaker 3: for monthly donors supporters, sponsors. We're looking for grants and
- 55:55Speaker 3: grant writers. We opened up a Christian club in 2012,
- 56:00Speaker 3: the first Christian club in Las Vegas, Nevada. And so
- 56:05Speaker 3: we're looking to relaunch, reopen that club and we need
- 56:09Speaker 3: support from our community. So if you know pastors, they
- 56:13Speaker 3: have a budget for inner city ministries. That's what we
- 56:16Speaker 3: are considered an inner city mission. We target the at-risk
- 56:22Speaker 3: youth and young adults. We have some other youth programs
- 56:25Speaker 3: that we're getting up and running. But we need help.
- 56:31Speaker 3: So prayerfully think about supporting us. And also, if you
- 56:36Speaker 3: want to volunteer your time and talents, get us up
- 56:40Speaker 3: on our website, HisHotNation.com or even on our app, His
- 56:45Speaker 3: Hot Radio on all platforms. And Every donation is tax deductible.
- 56:59Speaker 3: With that said, I have a few closing remarks as
- 57:06Speaker 3: we get ready to close out the podcast for today.
- 57:09Speaker 3: So Jeremiah 23, we went from verse 9 to 15
- 57:16Speaker 3: and it warns us about The danger of spiritual leaders
- 57:20Speaker 3: who live contrary to the message they claim to represent.
- 57:29Speaker 3: So the challenge for us is simple. Know the word,
- 57:33Speaker 3: live the word, teach them the word faithfully. Be willing
- 57:39Speaker 3: to be corrected by the word. Don't blindly follow people.
- 57:48Speaker 3: Don't blindly reject people. You need to search the scriptures.
- 57:54Speaker 3: And we need to keep Jesus at the center of
- 58:02Speaker 3: our motivation. The center of our heart. So this is
- 58:09Speaker 3: episode 20 of the His Heart Radio podcast presents verse
- 58:13Speaker 3: by verse Jeremiah 23 9-15 it also reminds us that
- 58:20Speaker 3: influence comes with responsibility if God is giving you a
- 58:26Speaker 3: voice use it wisely if God is giving you a
- 58:32Speaker 3: platform use it faithfully and if you're going to speak
- 58:38Speaker 3: for God make sure you're actually listening to God Do
- 58:45Speaker 3: not ignore his voice or his correction. So once again,
- 58:50Speaker 3: I'm your brother, Mr. His Hop. This is a His
- 58:56Speaker 3: Hop radio podcast. Verse by verse. This is what we
- 59:05Speaker 3: call this thing that we do.
- 59:06Speaker 2: And I'm going.
- 59:09Speaker 3: To close out like this. I always do. It's not
- 59:11Speaker 3: about us. It's all about the Christ in us. God bless.
- 59:27Speaker 3: You are listening to The Light of Las Vegas. This
- 59:31Speaker 3: is the HizHop Radio Show.
