- 0:00Trending. Now here's what you need to know. Well, did you see
- 0:05this Michigan teacher who ended up losing her position because she was moonlighting as a
- 0:10rapper. The moonlighting is really what what hit? But her name miss living
- 0:15a Secret Life. Well, her name is Dominique Brown, and she's been
- 0:18an educator for seven years and it all came to an abrupt end when there
- 0:22was one parent who came across her music videos. Gosh, you know what,
- 0:25I need to look them up just to see I guess she said,
- 0:28nobody even knew I was a rapper until this one parent just kept continuously complaining.
- 0:33So she ended up losing her job. Her rap name, by the
- 0:36way, Drippin' honey, Oh yum. She does acknowledge there is profanity in
- 0:42her lyrics, but she says this has nothing to do with the positive impact
- 0:45that I have on my students in the community. Despite the controversy, she
- 0:48did win Teacher of the Month back in December. Okay, I mean she's
- 0:52a great teacher. I don't know, mind your business teach unless the rap
- 0:56is like obviously racist, you know, something crazy, just mindy business?
- 1:02You know. For example, Amanda, I am recording rap artists myself,
- 1:07and there's stuff out there that, you know, if this company heard,
- 1:08they'd probably want to fire me too. But you you're a part of a
- 1:11band called Vowel, right, vow is that the name of it. It's
- 1:15called low Standards. What even doing? I'm just kidding you teasing its logo.
- 1:21I'm teasing because somebody said that they were going to the vow concert because
- 1:25they saw your logo, and that had me rolling the other day. Yeah,
- 1:27the l sort of looks like a v ha ha ha. I hope
- 1:32she gets her job back, or or if somebody else hires them, or
- 1:34if a record label comes in said, you know what, if you want
- 1:38to be a rapper, we'll make you a rapper. Yeah, all right,
- 1:41So how much are you paying with your video streaming services every single month
- 1:45video streaming? Well, like you're uh, you know what, like the
- 1:49apps you're paying for you're a sucker. You know, average American is paying
- 1:55about sixty one bucks. That's probably about right. I think we got four.
- 1:57I think we got Hulu and Netflick, which are you know, the
- 2:00primaries right, just switch mostly because Hulu has Family Guy and Netflix's Seinfeld,
- 2:06and then we have HBO Max or just Max and then we which actually is
- 2:09free with AT and T. A lot of people don't know. Yeah,
- 2:13so yeah, you like, they won't advertise it, they won't tell you.
- 2:15You kind of got a bit you gotta say. It's weird. You
- 2:16gotta like the secret code. But yeah, I called and oh, yeah,
- 2:20you get a free I'm like, well, thanks for telling me.
- 2:22Two years later, I remember when Verizon, when Disney Plus I think started,
- 2:25that was like a free bundle. So I think we're still at a
- 2:29discounted ish bundle with ESPN plus Disney and Hulu. Yeah, Disney, you
- 2:34can still jack from relatives, so that's not oh really, yeah, that's
- 2:38when you can still get away with the little password sharing. Don't tell anyone.
- 2:40I think uh, pretty much all of NOE all of them now have
- 2:43cracked down a little bit here and there, only not Disney. I know
- 2:47Nick's but cousin from Iowa got the boot off of our Netflix. I'm like,
- 2:52yeah, about time. I know, right, I've never jumped on
- 2:55anybody else's. I'm just I'm always the s same, I'm the one paying
- 3:00the others, no kidding, all right, And there's a Brazilian couple that
- 3:04is going viral because they are now paying money to work out naked at their
- 3:08gym, and the pictures are surfacing. You can't see. It's not like
- 3:13super super graphic, but they're why they're They're saying they're doing it because it'll
- 3:16help them become more fit. And I guess I could see that, because
- 3:20if you could see every inch of your body while you're working out, I'm
- 3:23gonna probably work out a little harder, you think, So I think what
- 3:28about the other people? And I think I would assume that it's just for
- 3:31so they're paying to rent the gym out. Basically, that's so dumb it
- 3:36is, it's gross. And also just what if something were to happen whoops.
- 3:39I mean there's things like but yeah, but what is a T shirt
- 3:43doing to protect you? You know? I guess that's true. It's some
- 3:49of those contraptions. So like the uh, the leg press snagged in there,
- 3:57you're at least being covered a little bit. All right, Gonna be
- 4:00cloudy today. We do have that winter weather advisory this evening through. It
- 4:03looks like tomorrow morning only about an inch or two of snow expected through the
- 4:08overnight high thirty three. Then there's another system rolling in and there's a there's
- 4:12a bunch of snow with that, but nobody's really set to tell us exactly
- 4:15how much. But also don't forget what they're not like. Some people are
- 4:17saying like twelve inches. Some people are saying a man is screaming at the
- 4:21TV. Makeup prediction. Yeah, they won't want to shared. But it
- 4:26is also a big happy hour tonight. I'll be hanging out over at the
- 4:29local seven oh one in West Fargo. Oh, we've got free beer for
- 4:31you for the first ninety eight people, delicious food, half price appetizers,
- 4:35and of course that meat raffle from five until seven. Bike at Amanda in
- 4:39the morning, Big nainety eight points seven. You want suspect a thing when
- 4:44you hear that telephone room by spread, what's like number this lesson by spread
- 4:53in the sun. You want to rest by true great a man. We're
- 4:57about to do what no man has done before. I Am about to prank
- 5:00call my own wife Lauren on her birthday. So are you going to try
- 5:03to sound different or is it going to be you? No? So here's
- 5:05what's happening, so all morning long for her birthday, I went really above
- 5:09and beyond as I do. Yeah, because you say you don't even do
- 5:12gifts, little sweetheart this morning, so I left a series of like sort
- 5:15of riddles and clues clever around her home, from gift to gift, and
- 5:19I mean, they're not big gifts, but they're little trinkets here and there.
- 5:23And so for the final riddle, I told her that I would call
- 5:26her with the final riddle. Okay, what a guy. Here we go.
- 5:30She thinks we're going to eat somewhere real nice tonight, by the way,
- 5:31but you see what we can do. Fancy pants. You'll be quiet,
- 5:34by the way. You're not in here, of course, not if
- 5:35he gets nervous around you. Hello. Well, good morning, birthday girl.
- 5:48Are you awake fairly well? Thank you for waking up a little early
- 5:53on your birthday to entertain my little scavenger hunt. Have you been enjoying the
- 5:56little surprises? Yeah, it's been fun. How's the show going? Oh
- 6:00it's okay. Amanda's not in here, she's taking it. Oh okay.
- 6:03So for the final birthday surprise, I wanted to give it to you over
- 6:06the phone. Are you ready? Yes. So it's a riddle that you
- 6:10got to solve. Okay, oh my god. What Okay, it's not
- 6:15one of those. It's not like the riddles we give Amanda. Okay,
- 6:19there's more of a poem. Okay, reminder, I never give you an
- 6:23actual riddle. It's been a morning of surprises, but we're not done yet.
- 6:29Hold on to your hat for this one, because it's as good as
- 6:31it'll get. Up to North Fargo. We go across the Fargo Dome.
- 6:35They say, is where you'll find our dinner reservation for your micbirthday. Well
- 6:48that's too Really, what do you think? What do you think it means
- 6:54going to McDonald Well, you don't want to go to McDonald's. Not really.
- 6:59Were you expecting something else? I thought we discussed this. Oh you
- 7:02wanted to go to like Spitfire or something right, something like that. I
- 7:08was on board of that until I opened my McDonald's app this morning and I
- 7:11saw a buy one quarter bounder get one for a dollar, and I just
- 7:15couldn't resist. So I thought we could celebrate your birthday at the McDonald's.
- 7:19No good or what you out of all people should know those deals last a
- 7:25few days. You got to use them to Okay, all right, this
- 7:28is stupid. Lauren. You obviously know I'm being a big, big silly
- 7:30goose here. You've been a victim of Pike's prank for the first time.
- 7:34Wow, how's it feel? You are such a lucky girl, Amanda's Oh
- 7:41she's back. Yes, no you. Happy birthday, Lauren, Thank you,
- 7:47love you, Happy birthday, love you, thank you. You're welcome,
- 7:53and we'll go to We'll go to a real restaurant. Don't worry,
- 7:55we'll save the We'll save that coupon for this weekend. Thanks. I've been
- 8:01Amanda in the morning. The list is out, Amana. You know I
- 8:07always I always talk about it, the list of the happiest countries in the
- 8:11world. I can't wait every year this comes. Maybe so America, where
- 8:16would you guess, having not seen this list? In the happiest countries of
- 8:20the world, And of course there's all sorts of factors, economical, societal,
- 8:24you know, weather, just overall happiness, where would you say America?
- 8:30The good old United States? I think we're probably right in the media,
- 8:33like right in the middle, really, because there's like two hundred some
- 8:35countries. You think there's like one hundred countries happier than us. I don't.
- 8:41Okay, you're way off. Okay, top twenty. Okay, that's
- 8:43a little more interesting because last year, Amanda, we ranked fifteenth. We've
- 8:48been slowly on a sort of a skid of late this year, pathetically,
- 8:54we've dropped out of the top twenty for the first time ever. Really,
- 8:58America currently the twenty second happiest country in the nation, and particularly because of
- 9:03the younger generation. They do it they break it down by age group,
- 9:07and older Americans tend to be happy. It's a younger generation that sort of
- 9:11bringing us down the list really just uh, they're not happy with what's going
- 9:16on. They're just not happy in general. I mean it's so secret financially,
- 9:20a little tougher sledding for the younger generation. Yeah. Absolutely, I
- 9:24can see that. You don't have the Maleman, you know, providing for
- 9:28an entire family while his wife stays at home and they got a five bedroom
- 9:31house, you know, not going in the cards for the kiddos, but
- 9:39a lot of time. Yeah, and I don't even know what a Maleman
- 9:41makes. That wasn't meant to be a no, it was just like more
- 9:45of like that was just the blue collar that was like on one salary.
- 9:50Yes, so the number one country for the seventh year in a row.
- 9:52They're doing something right over in Finland. Finland, where's my Finlanders at?
- 9:58You know, they got all those saunas. That's probably doing it. Oh
- 10:01is he? That's that'd be a nice relaxing situation. I was told I
- 10:07have a Finnish friend and he always corrects me it's not sauna, it's sauna.
- 10:11Yeah. So if you ever want to sound cool, say suna and
- 10:13then somebody would be like, don't know, you say it and you go,
- 10:16yeah it is. I'm a real dumb dumb over here. What's up?
- 10:18Sure, Finland? Where's that? That's a bit like yeah, I
- 10:22got it up in the Northern Europe. And then you got Denmark coming into
- 10:26number two, which is I believe, and I don't have a map in
- 10:28front of me, but it's like right there, it's got to be right
- 10:31by it in that area, okay, this happy area. And then number
- 10:35three I didn't even know people lived there, but Iceland is the third halfiest
- 10:39country. Maybe because there's only a couple of people there, that's why they're
- 10:43so happy. They were like, how are things going good? Nobody to
- 10:48bother me? Around here as long as he got one really happy guy,
- 10:50and if the other guy as long as he's just okay, really helps balance
- 10:54it out a little bit. Number four sweet and same area. And then
- 10:58number five is where it gets interesting. Man. That the fifth, the
- 11:01fift the fifth happiest. Yeah, the fifth happiest country is Israel. Now
- 11:09they do point out in the survey that it was conducted after the hostage situation,
- 11:16but before the subsequent warfare between Israel and Hamas, so it's sort of
- 11:20in that sweet spot. Okay. Now you want to go down to like
- 11:24the unhappiest countries, if you have to guess the least, I got the
- 11:28bottom ten. I mean, I hate to even say this, but I
- 11:30probably don't even know what they are. Like, I probably don't even know
- 11:33those countries exist. Household countries like Zimbabwe, Oh, okay, Afghanistan in
- 11:39the last but not least, Zambia. Yeah, I don't know a lot
- 11:43of third world countries, got it. I'm not going great necessarily. Well,
- 11:46we got to make America at least in the top twenty. We need
- 11:48to do better, We need to be happier. What can we do?
- 11:52What can we sounds like we all need a few more saunas well. We
- 11:56got a lot to be happy about it, a lot to be proud of
- 11:58here in the US of a absolutely respective. I mean, look at this
- 12:01anthem. This is jam. This is not the anthem I'm well, no,
- 12:05I meant like as a you mean like, I'm not like an American
- 12:07anthem, like a single long anthem, not the end, right, I'm
- 12:11not. Is that big of a dumb dumb let it rip? Then?
- 12:15Then I'm proud to be America, Queen Amanda in the morning on Big seven.
- 12:24So these are probably the two biggest idiots you've ever heard of. I'm
- 12:26not kidding, Okay, And you almost got to feel bad for him,
- 12:30do you? Two college students to Taiwanese college students? Just curious, man,
- 12:35if somebody was Taiwanese, where would they be from Taiwan? I know,
- 12:39just smarter than the average Joe over here. So okay, these two
- 12:43guys, now, one of them had lost quite a lot of money in
- 12:46cryptocurrency playing that game. You know, I don't even so, I mean,
- 12:52maybe not as smart as I alluded to earlier with the taiwan coma lady,
- 12:58you just struck oil, Quit drilling I don't get the whole cryptocurrency situation.
- 13:03Like I hear that, I'm like, oh, I don't know what.
- 13:05Well, he obviously didn't know what he was doing either, because he's
- 13:09in quite the hole. So he's trying to, you know, brainstorm ways
- 13:11as college kids do. He might remember trying to come up with some get
- 13:15rich quick schemes. Well one of them, he got it. He's like,
- 13:20I know, how about a little insurance fraud never hurt anybody. But
- 13:26his idea of committing insurance fraud included immersing his legs in dry ice for ten
- 13:35hours, so that just like a minute, doesn't that just destroy you?
- 13:41Yeah, it's very cold, So for ten hours he submerged his legs in
- 13:46dry ice, leading to them needing to be amputated. So then he claimed
- 13:52to the insurance company that he had suffered extreme cold from riding on a scooter
- 13:58at night, like hypothermia on his legs. No, Mandy, you remember
- 14:03from the beginning of this conversation, they're from where, Taiwan? Yes,
- 14:07it's correct. I don't know the whether they're Oh, well, it happens
- 14:11to be a subtropical climate in Taiwan. Me not that cases of severe frostbite
- 14:16due to natural climate factors in the area are entirely unheard of. By the
- 14:22way, can I tell you the visual I have him a head right now,
- 14:24and you're gonna love this guy with no legs, no freezing cold on
- 14:28a motorcycle. Hit me with it. There's a reference I can get down.
- 14:35That is the visual I have right now while they're just going through to
- 14:39get to Aspen. Yeah, but no, they skip that part. They
- 14:41just went right to the tub of dry ice. Now, my guys in
- 14:45a severe hole due to cryptocurrency poor investments. He's got no legs and it
- 14:50sounds like they're not going to be getting the insurance pace. Yeah. I
- 14:52can imagine at this point if you're a Taiwanese official, are you going to
- 14:56even give this guy a sentence? Or do you just I think you I
- 15:01think you did your own punishment, like happy life. Here you go figure
- 15:05it out. Yes, you got no legs. Oh man, they really
- 15:11weren't thinking this one through. I thought he did. Poor guy in the
- 15:16morning, Amanda fills the sea looks well. I do love the Travis Kelsey
- 15:24has his podcast with his brother every single week because you get a little bit
- 15:28of a little tea about him and Taylor Swift. And I don't think she's
- 15:31used to this. I mean she's been when her relationship was with a Joe
- 15:35Olwen, we didn't even know we existed. She's never seen media coverage like
- 15:39this. I mean maybe when her relationships have always been like a hot topic.
- 15:45But to have somebody talk about it, I think it's pretty awesome.
- 15:48But yesterday on the podcast, they were talking about an NBA player who is
- 15:54really, really tall and talking about how he's like a lab grown man.
- 15:58Yeah, and then they were alluding to the fact of like lab grown diamonds,
- 16:00and he made this comment, lab grown diamonds. That's lab grown NBA
- 16:06player. Listen, it's not far off. Let's be honest. I can't
- 16:08wait till I've make one. What do not give any of these other conspiracy
- 16:15theories anything else? Hard to understand? What that potty mouth? You know,
- 16:18I was told at a young age people who swear only swear because they
- 16:22don't know any other words to use. Oh well, basically, what are
- 16:26you saying there? If you couldn't get past it was can't wait to make
- 16:29one of those lab grown rings. Well, he's not going to get her
- 16:32a lab grown ring? What I don't know? Who are they good?
- 16:34Are they bad? What are we? What are our thoughts? I mean,
- 16:38if you want a big ring at a lower cost, you're going lab
- 16:41grown baby. I mean, who cares? As long as it shiny,
- 16:45sparkly, and really it's the love behind it that matters. But I just
- 16:48love that he kind of just joked about it a little bit because now people
- 16:51are losing their minds. He also was talking about the reality show Love Is
- 16:56Blind, alluding to the fact that him and Taylor Swift are just watching seasons
- 17:00every night like every normal American. Are they on season six? I think
- 17:03so? Yeah, you can watch TV by himself. But he was also
- 17:07mocking Chelsea Blackwell, listen, Jason, you got to watch Love is Blind.
- 17:11Man. It is the worst trash ever. It's worse than Catching Kelsey.
- 17:15But it is so good. Honestly, I just want you to watch
- 17:18the one girl and to just hear her not watching clingy O clingy. Really
- 17:26that made me laugh every time. I'm like, gosh, you're you're I
- 17:30don't know, kind of a bozo. Then he's there's just so many layers
- 17:34of Travis Kelcey. I want to like him. He's just kind of clean
- 17:37up that body mouth. I wonder if Taylor actually sits down and has conversations
- 17:41with him or sure. I'm sure they have a whole team coaching him,
- 17:45but he's not changing. And there's also something to be said about that,
- 17:48like, Hey, this is who I am. I'm not gonna change just
- 17:51because I'm with Taylor Swept. Or maybe they've done the research and people like
- 17:53the swearing. I don't know, who knows. Johnny Depp haven't heard this
- 17:57name in the headlines for a while. He is denying allegations of vicious,
- 18:02out of control behavior. So he was on the set of blow Back in
- 18:04two thousand and one and his co star Lola Gladini, she is saying that
- 18:10he was verbally abusive to her. His reps are saying his recollection differs.
- 18:15I feel like that's always his statement, but then you also know his past
- 18:18where his recollection is a lot different than a lot of people's. But blow
- 18:22what was that about. I don't know, never watched it. Huh,
- 18:27sounds like a good film. And Megan Fox is she with MGK or not?
- 18:33There was so many rumors that he was cheating on her, and then
- 18:37they were engaged and then they broke up. Well, yesterday she finally sat
- 18:41down for an interview and said that they did call off their engagement sometime last
- 18:44year. And then she said, but he is still my twin soul.
- 18:48Okay, they're so weird. You can just tell they were loving the attention
- 18:52they were feeding into so much, wearing each other's blood around each other's neck,
- 18:56I mean, and then you could just tell we'd stop caring. It's
- 19:00been so long since I cared about this too, So they just thought,
- 19:02well, well that's it. That's it's just a classic Hollywood couple. So
- 19:06when they say twin soul, does it mean they're still together or their souls
- 19:08are together? But they're not. All that's just some garbage about how they
- 19:11still care for each other even though they're moving on to other people. Thanks
- 19:15for breaking that down for me. I am a Hollywood insider. Appreciate Yoh
- 19:18like it a Manda in the morning. Come on, get up on Big
- 19:22twenty seven. Well, is this tacky or is this clever? Because you
- 19:26know, if you've gone through a wedding, you know that the RSVP process
- 19:30can be frustrating. Yeah, because it's your whole life is revolved around planning
- 19:36this wedding and making sure everybody's going to be there. And then you got
- 19:38people like me who have a hard time getting the RSVPs in on time.
- 19:44Why is that? It's amazing to me? And I feel bad. Sometimes
- 19:48we've been invited to since we've been married, a couple of Nick's like friends
- 19:52weddings, and I just I see it and I kind of like, I
- 19:55don't know, these people didn't think about it, Like that's so disrespectful and
- 19:59not even sending it back saying like, hey, we're not going right,
- 20:00and even if you're not going because that they sit there in wonder. I
- 20:03kind of feel like we just got the invite because you know, it's like
- 20:07if you weren't expecting us to show up to this, were you? I
- 20:11don't know. Well, there's this woman who has found a solution. She's
- 20:14gone fire roll because she had started sending out missed RSVP cards. So the
- 20:18deadline came and went and a bunch of people had an RSVP obviously that's how
- 20:22it goes. So she sent a card saying we're sorry you can't make it
- 20:26to our wedding. Our RSVP deadline has passed and unfortunately you did not respond.
- 20:30We would have loved to have you attend, but oh but final numbers
- 20:34have now been turned in in our and your presence will be missed. Signed
- 20:40the bride and groom. So she put on there like dot dot dot.
- 20:42We're still registered at Amazon dot com. No. I think it was passive
- 20:48aggressive enough, don't you. A lot of people saying it was tracky,
- 20:51unnecessary, harsh. Also, you're paying for postage to send them, not
- 20:55the one. That's crazy to me. I've seen so many people just get
- 20:59away from invitations in general and just kind of putting it out there through social
- 21:03media or SVP that way. I were invited to my cousin's wedding and it's
- 21:08all we get text messages, text club, yeah, every every month,
- 21:15and it's like, hey, you still haven't responded. That's what I need.
- 21:18That's great because when I get an RSVP, just the thought of putting
- 21:22something in the mail with postage like just stresses me out and it just makes
- 21:26me want to not do it. So I have because we're not going to
- 21:29this wedding. It says Hi Amanda, Jenna and Ryan are getting married using
- 21:33solo to join the celebration. Give us your contact information with the link below.
- 21:37So if I just say to stop receiving texts from this couple, do
- 21:41you just opt out? Because does that mean you're not going? Well,
- 21:45that means you're not going and you hate them. No, that's how I

- 21:52for the timeome, I'm always the guy that the groom has to text me
- 21:56like, hey, dude, are you VP? So I know you're coming,
- 22:00You're in the wedding, So do you want beef or chicken? What's
- 22:03it gonna be? If there's food involved in this and they give you the
- 22:07option and you know it's gonna be a fancy wedding, you automatically have to
- 22:11respond right away. That's a big decision. Oh, being surprised is always
- 22:14kind of fun too. Or if they're like, oh my gosh, what
- 22:18is he doing here? Why are you were? They've filled your role as
- 22:22greenspan somebody else standing up
