- 0:00SPEAKER_03: We now join the Doc and Carolyn podcast already in progress.
- 0:03SPEAKER_01: The Doc and Carolyn podcast!
- 0:05SPEAKER_03: And Texas is so cool.
- 0:07SPEAKER_03: I'm into it.
- 0:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it is.
- 0:08SPEAKER_03: Well listen, I know you you you're ridiculous with it, really.
- 0:14SPEAKER_03: You were born here and you just like all Texas, people that I know that come from here, they they just they're that it's a whole different country.
- 0:23SPEAKER_03: In fact, you've mentioned secession from the United States about 15 times.
- 0:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah this week.
- 0:29SPEAKER_06: I keep praying.
- 0:30SPEAKER_03: You want you want this to be your own land in your own country.
- 0:33SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 0:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah, a lot of that going around.
- 0:36SPEAKER_06: And and I got a list of people to deport.
- 0:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 0:41SPEAKER_03: We'll we'll get we'll get to some of that.
- 0:42SPEAKER_03: This this we're just living in bizarro land.
- 0:45SPEAKER_06: The good thing is, nothing takes God by surprise.
- 0:49SPEAKER_06: So he's got it all.
- 0:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah, oh, that's for sure.
- 0:53SPEAKER_03: And and I don't I don't mention this stuff in order to worry about it or have anxiety or stress about it.
- 0:59SPEAKER_03: I I just I wonder how how how much everybody sees because we are at a place where some of this, some of this is so obvious.
- 1:09SPEAKER_03: Check this out from Joe Rogan.
- 1:10SPEAKER_04: Listen to this.
- 1:11SPEAKER_04: You're not seeing any coverage of it on mainstream media, except I saw one of those stupid panel shows on CNN where they were saying, no one cares about this.
- 1:20SPEAKER_04: We should care about what's happening right now.
- 1:22SPEAKER_04: America doesn't care about what happened five years ago.
- 1:24SPEAKER_04: Hey, there's a congressional hearing going on where a guy's testifying in front of Congress who got a 10-year, complete 10-year immunity for all the crimes that he possibly could have committed when he wasn't convicted of any crimes, which is an incredible precedent that's never happened before.
- 1:42SPEAKER_04: You've never had a guy get pardoned for something that he was never convicted of for 10 years, anything he did in 10 years.
- 1:49SPEAKER_04: And then you have that same guy testifying in front of Congress, pleading the fifth of what color is Ty is?
- 1:55SPEAKER_04: If you don't think that's news, you're out of your mind and you shouldn't be calling yourself the news.
- 1:59SPEAKER_04: Because you're just a propaganda arm for whatever pharmaceutical company is paying for your advertisements.
- 2:05SPEAKER_04: This is you're what you're doing is nonsense.
- 2:07SPEAKER_04: This is definitely not news.
- 2:08SPEAKER_04: That's a big issue for most Americans who went through that, people who lost their jobs, people who had to take a vaccine in order to go to work and got sick from it, people who they couldn't fly, they couldn't travel, they were vilified, they were called plague rats because they were questioning these things.
- 2:24SPEAKER_04: And here we are.
- 2:25SPEAKER_04: Here we are with CNN saying, this is not a big deal.
- 2:28SPEAKER_04: Why are we concentrating on this?
- 2:30SPEAKER_04: We have so many issues right now plaguing this country.
- 2:32SPEAKER_04: Yeah, guess what?
- 2:33SPEAKER_04: We can concentrate on those too.
- 2:35SPEAKER_04: We can look at everything.
- 2:36SPEAKER_04: That's what you're supposed to do.
- 2:37SPEAKER_04: That's what the news is supposed to be.
- 2:39SPEAKER_04: You're supposed to be telling us, you're not supposed to be the arbiters of w what we can and can't concentrate on.
- 2:44SPEAKER_04: That's ridiculous.
- 2:45SPEAKER_03: It's it's so it's so out in the open.
- 2:48SPEAKER_03: It it's you know, there was always a little cadre of conspiracy theorists that would talk about things that were out of the ordinary, but and and I don't consider myself a conspiracy theorist, although I I studied the JFK assassination.
- 3:04SPEAKER_03: I've read probably a half dozen books on it.
- 3:07SPEAKER_03: And finally, what a couple three years ago, we went to uh Dallas and went to the uh to the spot where where John F.
- 3:15SPEAKER_03: Kennedy was actually assassinated.
- 3:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah and went up to the sixth floor of the school book depository and just that good that part of history is is so close to us.
- 3:24SPEAKER_03: I'm glad I finally got a chance to put my feet on the spot.
- 3:28SPEAKER_06: Well, I don't I I think the word conspira or the words conspiracy theorist have a negative connotation, but I think it's healthy to question things.
- 3:40SPEAKER_03: Oh, of course it is.
- 3:41SPEAKER_03: And I've embraced it.
- 3:42SPEAKER_03: I've decided because the conspiracy theorists have been proven right so much at this point.
- 3:48SPEAKER_03: At this point, so yeah, I I I am a conspiracy theorist.
- 3:51SPEAKER_06: Yeah, me too.
- 3:52SPEAKER_03: And and if, you know, I mentioned the JFK thing.
- 3:54SPEAKER_03: If you are too young to remember or even really to have much interest in it, an easy way to get a quick history lesson on that whole thing and the involvement of nefarious characters and all that, just get Oliver Stone's JFK revisited.
- 4:11SPEAKER_03: You can watch the original movie JFK, and then the revisited is a 30-year uh kind of recap and what's been discovered since then.
- 4:18SPEAKER_03: Things now have gotten to the point where they're not even trying to hide it anymore.
- 4:23SPEAKER_06: I mean, everything that they've denied, denied, denied for the past few years, now they're like, yep, we did it.
- 4:29SPEAKER_06: What are you gonna do about it?
- 4:31SPEAKER_03: When the, for example, when the fraud was discovered, all this, you know, all these hundreds of billions of dollars in Minnesota now, LA, now New York, New York, all these hundreds of billions of dollars.
- 4:42SPEAKER_03: I don't remember one uh one.
- 4:47SPEAKER_03: I love that name.
- 4:48SPEAKER_03: Uh I I don't remember one one demo one Democrat standing up and saying, uh what six hundred billion dollars in in stolen money?
- 4:56SPEAKER_03: Of course.
- 4:56SPEAKER_03: You know, tell us more.
- 4:58SPEAKER_06: We want to get into if you're not mad about it, you don't pay enough taxes.
- 5:02SPEAKER_03: Well, yeah, it's astonishing.
- 5:04SPEAKER_03: It it really is astonishing.
- 5:05SPEAKER_03: Nobody stood up and said, Yeah, we want to know where this fraud is is happening.
- 5:10SPEAKER_03: We want people held to account.
- 5:12SPEAKER_06: They were mad that we found it.
- 5:14SPEAKER_06: They attacked Elon Musk for finding it.
- 5:16SPEAKER_06: And Nick Shirley and all of them.
- 5:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they still are.
- 5:20SPEAKER_06: Well, supposedly they didn't like Elon because he was a billionaire, now trillionaire.
- 5:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 5:25SPEAKER_06: So why did they not like Nick Shirley?
- 5:28SPEAKER_06: He's not.
- 5:28SPEAKER_03: And he's nowhere near that, right?
- 5:30SPEAKER_06: No.
- 5:30SPEAKER_06: I'm Carolyn Kilgore, founder and provider at TrueHealing Healthcare.net.
- 5:34SPEAKER_03: Why functional medicine?
- 5:36SPEAKER_06: Because you're more than just a list of symptoms.
- 5:39SPEAKER_06: Traditional care often masks the problem, but functional medicine digs deeper to find the root cause.
- 5:44SPEAKER_02: What makes True Healing Healthcare different?
- 5:47SPEAKER_06: We move away from the one size fits all approach.
- 5:50SPEAKER_06: We look at your environment and your lifestyle to create a roadmap tailored specifically for you.
- 5:56SPEAKER_03: What if someone really wants to make a change?
- 5:58SPEAKER_06: If you're tired of feeling fine and want to start feeling great, it's about proactive wellness, not just reactive treatment.
- 6:06SPEAKER_03: What's the deal with telemedicine?
- 6:08SPEAKER_06: As long as you're 18 and have an internet connection, you can have a visit in the privacy of your own home or anywhere else in Texas.
- 6:15SPEAKER_06: We're able to order labs or prescribe or whatever else you need.
- 6:18SPEAKER_03: True Healing Healthcare dot net for the great state of Texas.
- 6:22SPEAKER_03: So we took a road trip.
- 6:24SPEAKER_03: Uh what is that part of Texas called?
- 6:26SPEAKER_03: That's it's near Klein because I passed uh Spring.
- 6:30SPEAKER_03: That's Spring, Texas.
- 6:31SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 6:32SPEAKER_03: And you go to a holistic dentist and you are so you are so enthusiastic about I am because I don't well what is what is a whole holistic dentist?
- 6:42SPEAKER_06: They just try to do some alternative things, like they don't push fluoride on you and all of that kind of thing.
- 6:50SPEAKER_06: And my last dentist, I loved her, I really did, but we kept butting heads about my wisdom teeth.
- 6:58SPEAKER_06: Because my wisdom teeth, I've had them forever, they don't give me any issues, but she kept wanting to pull them, and I didn't want them pulled because that's a major surgery.
- 7:08SPEAKER_06: I don't want a major surgery for no reason.
- 7:11SPEAKER_03: Is there is there a um like a correlation between like medical procedures being suggested and kind of pushed on people, and the same shows up maybe in the in the dental industry as well?
- 7:25SPEAKER_03: Is that did you feel like that?
- 7:27SPEAKER_03: Like, okay, I don't want my wisdom teeth thing.
- 7:29SPEAKER_03: Of course you do.
- 7:30SPEAKER_03: Come on.
- 7:31SPEAKER_06: Well, every single dentist that I've been to has wanted to pull them.
- 7:35SPEAKER_06: All of them before this one wanted me to pull my wisdom teeth and get braces.
- 7:40SPEAKER_06: And so I just assumed that it was they thought my teeth were too crowded and they needed to pull them out to do my braces.
- 7:49SPEAKER_06: But I've already had braces, yeah, and my teeth are straight and my wisdom teeth are fine.
- 7:55SPEAKER_06: The only issue with them is they are really far back, and so I was having a hard time brushing uh behind them, but now I have my water pick and I'm they get really clean.
- 8:08SPEAKER_06: I'm not having issues with them.
- 8:11SPEAKER_03: And so how'd you find the holistic and what uh did you say what a holistic dentist is?
- 8:16SPEAKER_03: You said they just it what's different than the traditional.
- 8:21SPEAKER_06: One thing is um they swabbed my cheek and looked to see what kind of bacteria I have in my mouth because specific types are cause cavities.
- 8:35SPEAKER_06: And I'm not a dentist, so I don't know for sure which is the same.
- 8:39SPEAKER_03: So where does the holistic part come in?
- 8:42SPEAKER_06: So I've never had that done.
- 8:44SPEAKER_03: So they swab you for bacteria in your mouth to find out what kind you have.
- 8:49SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 8:49SPEAKER_06: And then they will tailor your toothpaste to fight that that well, no, but what they will do is use um ozone.
- 8:57SPEAKER_06: They'll use ozone to kill the bad bacteria.
- 9:00SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 9:01SPEAKER_03: And then I so is that unique?
- 9:03SPEAKER_03: So the traditional dentists won't do it.
- 9:07SPEAKER_03: And well, how does that benefit you?
- 9:08SPEAKER_03: Now you know what kind of bacteria you have and you do what?
- 9:11SPEAKER_06: And they kill it with the ozone.
- 9:13SPEAKER_06: Kill it with the ozone.
- 9:15SPEAKER_03: How's bioidentical hormone replacement therapy?
- 9:20SPEAKER_03: Did I say that right?
- 9:22SPEAKER_06: You did B H R T.
- 9:24SPEAKER_03: You you you're yeah, you're taking the classes.
- 9:27SPEAKER_03: How's that going?
- 9:28SPEAKER_03: I mean, it sounds complicated, is it?
- 9:31SPEAKER_06: Um, yeah, it can get pretty complicated because you're talking about hormones and you have quite a few of them and they all work together and so back in school.
- 9:42SPEAKER_03: Back in school for this.
- 9:43SPEAKER_06: Yes.
- 9:44SPEAKER_03: And you you I had a conversation with you the other day.
- 9:48SPEAKER_03: You you seemed pretty pretty enthusiastic about this.
- 9:51SPEAKER_03: What I I I I don't know how much we've talked about on the podcast, but you you're why are you so uh so excited about this?
- 10:00SPEAKER_06: I think because I'm learning so much that I didn't learn in my NP program or anything else that I've done.
- 10:08SPEAKER_03: So if you want to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger, you have to get the hormones from you.
- 10:15SPEAKER_06: No, no.
- 10:16SPEAKER_03: What is it?
- 10:17SPEAKER_03: I mean, how do you what what why are you adding this service to your practice?
- 10:23SPEAKER_06: Because so many women have problems with perimenopause and menopause, and you just feel miserable with the hot flashes and you can't sleep and brain fog and all of those things.
- 10:38SPEAKER_06: I know you know how my hot flashes are.
- 10:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 10:42SPEAKER_06: And it's just can't be like a lot of people.
- 10:44SPEAKER_03: I don't I don't play with you when you you know I I I kind of tease you.
- 10:48SPEAKER_03: I don't play with you, but I do I will tease you a little bit.
- 10:51SPEAKER_03: But we'll be riding down the street and you'll stick your arm out.
- 10:55SPEAKER_03: This is mostly in the winter, but you'll stick your arm out and say, Okay, well grab just grab the jacket so I can pull my arm out.
- 11:02SPEAKER_03: I I feel like I'm on the surface of the sun.
- 11:05SPEAKER_03: I don't joke about it, I don't smile.
- 11:07SPEAKER_03: I'm like, I just get you off the get your coat off and take things.
- 11:12SPEAKER_06: Remember how uh you were sick that time and you started telling me you were having hot flashes?
- 11:17SPEAKER_03: No, yeah.
- 11:18SPEAKER_03: I don't think that happened.
- 11:19SPEAKER_06: Yeah, it did happen.
- 11:21SPEAKER_03: Was it a was it the man cold?
- 11:23SPEAKER_03: Because that bad boy would get off.
- 11:24SPEAKER_06: I'm sure it was the man cold.
- 11:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'll take you out, man.
- 11:28SPEAKER_06: Um, I am, I was excited too on a different note, sort of.
- 11:34SPEAKER_06: Um I have a newer patient who let me know the other day that she's lost a chunk of weight.
- 11:42SPEAKER_03: And you said your patients are asking about the bioidentical hormone therapy replacement.
- 11:48SPEAKER_06: Yes.
- 11:49SPEAKER_06: Um who's eligible?
- 11:51SPEAKER_03: Who who asks?
- 11:52SPEAKER_03: Who who do men do men also?
- 11:55SPEAKER_03: Yes, men too.
- 11:56SPEAKER_03: Ask ask, and is there uh benefit for for the fellows as well?
- 12:01SPEAKER_06: Yeah, there's uh always a benefit for the men um because your testosterone lowers as you age.
- 12:09SPEAKER_03: And um why why do why in my mind it it feels or sounds like it's controversial?
- 12:16SPEAKER_06: Was it was it at one time a controversial kind of thing in the uh there was a study done by the Women's Health Initiative.
- 12:24SPEAKER_06: I can't I can't remember the date.
- 12:26SPEAKER_06: We just talked about it in class, but um, it put a lot of fear in women about hormones because the way that they read the data, they were saying that it caused cancer.
- 12:41SPEAKER_06: But they've done a meta-analysis and reviewed the data again, and that's not what it says.
- 12:48SPEAKER_03: So this is more recent study?
- 12:52SPEAKER_06: Yes, in 2020.
- 12:54SPEAKER_06: And um the studies that they've done have been with synthetic hormones that have a different risk profile than the bioidentical hormones.
- 13:04SPEAKER_03: And the and and I think from uh the last time we talked about about this, the bioidentical are kind of to the individual.
- 13:10SPEAKER_03: It's not a generic answer, it's something that's kind of tailored to the person.
- 13:15SPEAKER_03: Is that is that am I explaining that right?
- 13:17SPEAKER_06: Well, based on what they need, but the um the bioidentic are molecularly identical to your own hormones.
- 13:26SPEAKER_03: Oh, I got you.
- 13:27SPEAKER_03: So you're not putting anything foreign in your putting what's already there.
- 13:31SPEAKER_06: Not synthetic.
- 13:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and you're excited about this.
- 13:34SPEAKER_03: I'm happy for you.
- 13:35SPEAKER_06: Yeah, because I I mean I was in that camp that was kind of fearful.
- 13:40SPEAKER_06: You know, I went well, that was really fearful because I went to get them, and then after my visit, I just talked myself out of it because uh it scared me.
- 13:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 13:51SPEAKER_06: But you know, I don't I I wish I would have gotten them then.
- 13:55SPEAKER_03: Okay, how how much longer do you have in class and um taking classes?
- 13:59SPEAKER_06: I'm trying my best to be finished by the 20th.
- 14:01SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
- 14:02SPEAKER_03: Okay, but but soon, 20th of this month.
- 14:04SPEAKER_03: So so real soon.
- 14:06SPEAKER_06: Yes, real soon.
- 14:07SPEAKER_01: Welcome to this Kingdom Minute with your host, Kimberly Blakes on the Doc and Carolyn podcast.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: Some of you all have come from this to this thing of where Christians say negative things about themselves to seem more humble.
- 14:19SPEAKER_01: That's false humility.
- 14:21SPEAKER_01: It is real humility when you come into agreement with what God has said about you.
- 14:25SPEAKER_01: If he's calling you a victor, it is wrong for you to say that you're not.
- 14:29SPEAKER_01: When you say nasty things about yourself, a great creation, something that God made, you are calling him a liar and you are creating new neuropathways.
- 14:39SPEAKER_01: And so what is happening now is that we are seeing some totals of our thoughts and our speech in our lives today.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: And people don't understand why they are seeing the more of more of the same, it's because of what you're saying.
- 14:51SPEAKER_01: If you don't believe that you will ever make it, you won't.
- 14:55SPEAKER_01: If you don't believe you will ever find the love of your life, you will not.
- 14:59SPEAKER_01: If you don't believe you will ever buy a house, you won't.
- 15:01SPEAKER_01: If you think that everything that you do fails, it will.
- 15:05SPEAKER_01: And it's not because God is doing it, it's because you have said it yourself.
- 15:09SPEAKER_01: It is by your words you are justified or condemned.
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: This is why the Bible tells us, be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.
- 15:17SPEAKER_01: You have to renew your mind.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: You have to agree with God.
- 15:20SPEAKER_01: Thank you for tuning in to this Kingdom Minute with your host, Kimberly Blakes on the Doc and Carolyn podcast.
- 15:26SPEAKER_01: You can find me on Facebook at Kimberly Blakes, and I also have a podcast called The Faith Frame Perspective.
- 15:32SPEAKER_01: I'll see you guys there.
- 15:34SPEAKER_03: We work out together every day you're off.
- 15:36SPEAKER_03: Every day you're not in the uh clinic treating patients.
- 15:39SPEAKER_03: You uh we we work out together.
- 15:42SPEAKER_03: And so we took off uh a couple days ago and we're doing a regular trek, and we hit there's a there's a long first hill.
- 15:50SPEAKER_03: It's a it's a steep, you know, kind of demanding.
- 15:54SPEAKER_03: It's it's a it's a demanding hill.
- 15:56SPEAKER_03: And uh we you know, we typically walk, but every once in a while uh we run them.
- 16:00SPEAKER_06: And uh I usually do half that hill.
- 16:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 16:04SPEAKER_06: Just half of it.
- 16:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 16:06SPEAKER_03: So so we come up on this hill, and you know, I always announce ahead of time so you can get some mental preparation.
- 16:11SPEAKER_03: We're gonna hit this hill, we can run it, whatever.
- 16:13SPEAKER_03: And you ran that whole hill without complaining, number one.
- 16:18SPEAKER_03: And I could kind of tell that maybe half up, halfway up, three quarters of the way, you you kind of were were, you know, being challenged.
- 16:28SPEAKER_06: Oh, I was challenged.
- 16:29SPEAKER_03: But you didn't stop.
- 16:30SPEAKER_03: You just kept you just kept going.
- 16:32SPEAKER_06: I kept saying to myself what I heard something that you played the other day.
- 16:36SPEAKER_06: Are you a loser?
- 16:37SPEAKER_06: Are you gonna quit?
- 16:39SPEAKER_03: What what now?
- 16:41SPEAKER_06: You were showing me something the other day, and the guy kept saying, When I need to be motivated, I just asked myself That motivated you.
- 16:48SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 16:48SPEAKER_03: So there's another hill we- said no, I'm not.
- 16:51SPEAKER_03: So so uh well, it obviously worked.
- 16:53SPEAKER_03: You went all the way to the top.
- 16:54SPEAKER_03: Then we went to the this other part of of our walk and then we ran back up this hill.
- 16:59SPEAKER_03: You hit that.
- 17:00SPEAKER_03: Now the old you back in the day would have just I mean, you you wouldn't have done it, you would have complained about me mentioning it and wanted to fight me.
- 17:10SPEAKER_03: But but you um but but you did it and um I don't know, you've just come so far.
- 17:16SPEAKER_03: I mean, did do you can you do you feel different beyond like a yeah, I try not to be such a weenie.
- 17:22SPEAKER_03: The thing that is um I don't I'm that I think I'm most proud of, one of the things I'm most proud of you about is that you are an official Trekie as of today.
- 17:31SPEAKER_03: I got in touch with Starfleet and you're and and you're accepted.
- 17:35SPEAKER_03: You're accepted into this into the academy and part of the uh you know the celebration of what Star Trek is.
- 17:42SPEAKER_03: So what what did you know about Star Trek before you you started watching?
- 17:47SPEAKER_06: I saw some of the originals.
- 17:49SPEAKER_03: So you know who Spock is, you knew you knew Cam Kirk and all that, right?
- 17:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah so I knew those guys.
- 17:55SPEAKER_03: And with the with the next gen, because you're you're getting started, you know, you watched a little bit of the original and now you're watching next gen.
- 18:01SPEAKER_06: Yes.
- 18:02SPEAKER_03: And you are into it.
- 18:06SPEAKER_03: You but you here's something funny.
- 18:08SPEAKER_06: I found myself thinking about it today at work.
- 18:11SPEAKER_03: Really?
- 18:12SPEAKER_03: So so tell tell me about that.
- 18:14SPEAKER_03: What is that thinking about what?
- 18:17SPEAKER_06: Well, remember I sent you that thing about LaForge?
- 18:21SPEAKER_06: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 18:22SPEAKER_06: With the uh Elon Musk thing, but anyway.
- 18:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah, with the transplant, it it'll help uh with this neural link, it'll help uh blind people see, and they can probably see that they're alleging it'll be better than than human eyes, you know, they can see other parts of the spectrum and on and on.
- 18:37SPEAKER_06: Do you ever think, like when you're just looking at things, do you ever think that things must be more vivid and brighter, but our eyes just can't see it?
- 18:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we were talking we talked about it during during our walk.
- 18:51SPEAKER_03: I was talking about how it looks like like the matrix, maybe.
- 18:54SPEAKER_06: Right.
- 18:55SPEAKER_06: You know, the I mean I've I've thought that all my whole life, I would think that.
- 19:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 19:01SPEAKER_06: But so that's kind of cool that they're gonna do that.
- 19:03SPEAKER_06: But anyway, so that's what I was thinking about.
- 19:06SPEAKER_06: And yeah, so now I'm apparently I'm a Trekkie.
- 19:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah, well, it's Star Trek means a lot to me personally because it was one of the things that me and my father could share.
- 19:15SPEAKER_03: He he was all he always liked Star Trek, the original, when it was on.
- 19:19SPEAKER_03: I liked it too.
- 19:20SPEAKER_03: And you know, that was something that we shared.
- 19:22SPEAKER_03: In fact, one of my favorite, you know, sometimes you have days in life that just stick with you, the really, really great days.
- 19:27SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 19:28SPEAKER_03: Uh I I invited my father when uh The Wrath of Khan, when Star Trek The Wrath of Khan uh from the original series came out.
- 19:36SPEAKER_03: Uh, I called my dad, I think I got my sisters and uh in-laws, and about you know, six or eight of us ended up going to the theater together.
- 19:43SPEAKER_03: And I sat sat next to my father, and it ended up being a great movie, right?
- 19:47SPEAKER_03: And you know, he he laughed at all the right spots and was, you know, um, it just ended up being a great day.
- 19:53SPEAKER_03: You know, and and to have you now part of the part of the family is Doc and Carolyn Podcast.

- 20:52SPEAKER_03: We put a date together that uh that is a little bit unusual.
- 20:57SPEAKER_03: The plan is this is a three-hour movie.
- 21:00SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 21:00SPEAKER_03: And we don't want to burn three hours in the middle of the day.
- 21:03SPEAKER_03: So they have a a morning matinee at 8 15 tomorrow at the IMAX theater.
- 21:09SPEAKER_03: So the plan is to get up at 5 a.m.
- 21:11SPEAKER_06: And it's what, 11 right now?
- 21:14SPEAKER_03: At night?
- 21:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 21:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's yeah, it's coming up on 11 uh Central Time in Texas.
- 21:19SPEAKER_03: So we're gonna get up at 5 a.m.
- 21:21SPEAKER_03: and we're going to uh go get breakfast.
- 21:25SPEAKER_03: And then you're fighting sleep right now, I see.
- 21:29SPEAKER_06: Yeah, we're gonna go to Eggs Up Grill.
- 21:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah, get a light breakfast, and then watch this.
- 21:34SPEAKER_03: And I I presume that it'll be an intermission, but Kimberly Blakes gave this movie a crazy good review.
- 21:40SPEAKER_03: She just said it's the best movie I've ever seen.
- 21:43SPEAKER_03: I'll watch it over and over again.
- 21:45SPEAKER_03: And so, you know, we're gonna go Yeah, I'm excited.
- 21:48SPEAKER_03: And then after that, we're gonna go to we we can never remember the name of this place, but they have I keep wanting to say Flemings, but that's not it.
- 21:58SPEAKER_06: No like Flemings.
- 22:00SPEAKER_03: And the point is we have to search so diligently.
- 22:03SPEAKER_03: And pr pretty much everybody that wants to eat clean, you know what I'm talking about.
- 22:07SPEAKER_03: You have to uh kind of search around to find restaurants that are going to use better ingredients and whole foods.
- 22:14SPEAKER_03: And uh the thing about this restaurant is they have gluten-free buns, which you need to make in-house.
- 22:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 22:20SPEAKER_06: So that's really delicious.
- 22:23SPEAKER_03: So in the morning we have a uh a date more a date day, a date morning, yep.
- 22:28SPEAKER_03: And uh breakfast, and then this three-hour Odyssey movie, and we'll give you full report on that next week.
- 22:34SPEAKER_06: And then lunch, and then I'm gonna come home and crash.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: The Revelation to John.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: Chapter six.
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, Come.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: And I looked and behold, a white horse, and its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering and to conquer.
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, Come, and out came another horse, bright red.
- 23:12SPEAKER_00: Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, Come, and I looked, and behold, a black horse, and its rider had a pair of scales in his hand, and I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, Come, and I looked and behold a pale horse, and its rider's name was Death, and Hades followed him, and they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence, and by wild beasts of the earth.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne.
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: They cried out with a loud voice, O sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before ye will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: Then they were each given a white robe, and told to rest a little longer until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale.
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: Then the kings of the earth, and the great ones, and the generals, and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, calling to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand to you in part by Alex Solutions.
