- 0:01Speaker 1: Mark Simo.
- 0:04Speaker 2: R Well, Jimmy Fayla, the great TV star, great comedian.
- 0:11Speaker 2: You can hear him every night now on w R
- 0:14Speaker 2: from nine to midnight. It's an excellent show. It's interesting,
- 0:17Speaker 2: it's funny, nine to midnight every weeknight. W R also
- 0:22Speaker 2: does the best late night show Saturday nights at ten
- 0:24Speaker 2: Fox News Channel, with the finest funniest monologue in television.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Every Saturday at ten Fox News Channel. Jimmy Fayla, how
- 0:31Speaker 2: you doing.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I'm doing? Man, What a great week to be a comedian.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Huh yeah, except them all set to watch you Saturday
- 0:39Speaker 2: night like I always do. And then it's preempted by
- 0:42Speaker 2: Maduro getting arrested.
- 0:45Speaker 1: You know, the nerves, and we were, we were ready
- 0:50Speaker 1: to go. I was, actually I was excited to make
- 0:52Speaker 1: that one happen. I think the Maduro thing, since you
- 0:55Speaker 1: mentioned it, is like it's it's a reason like as American,
- 1:00Speaker 1: like we should all be happy. Like America now offers
- 1:03Speaker 1: same day shipping on dictators. Think about that. They got
- 1:07Speaker 1: him in Venezuela Saturday morning. He was in New York
- 1:10Speaker 1: City jail by Saturday at dinner time. Like that's pretty impressive.
- 1:14Speaker 1: If you bought sneakers on Amazon Saturday morning. There's no
- 1:17Speaker 1: chance you had them before Sunday. Trump is bringing in
- 1:20Speaker 1: dictators in eight our This is progress America. I don't
- 1:23Speaker 1: care how you vote.
- 1:24Speaker 2: So what about these Democrats. They're all yelling, we don't
- 1:27Speaker 2: need to be in another endless war. It was twelve
- 1:29Speaker 2: minutes the whole thing, endless war.
- 1:31Speaker 1: I'm seriously like the soldiers, if you don't have to
- 1:36Speaker 1: bring a cell phone charger, it's not a long war
- 1:40Speaker 1: like this war was the equivalent of do you remember
- 1:43Speaker 1: the space flight with those female astronauts who pretended it
- 1:46Speaker 1: was like an Apollo mission, but they went out in
- 1:48Speaker 1: that Amazon thing. Yeah, you know they're drinking chardonay with
- 1:51Speaker 1: Jeff Bezos's wife. That was an eleven minute flight, Like Mark,
- 1:55Speaker 1: you know that that's not pioneering space travel. That's an
- 1:58Speaker 1: expensive six flags row.
- 2:00Speaker 2: That's all it was. You know, our old buddy Pete Hegseeth.
- 2:05Speaker 2: They keeps saying he's not qualified, he's the most unqualified. Meantime,
- 2:09Speaker 2: he's pulled off like twelve of the most unbelievable military
- 2:12Speaker 2: operations ever, from taking out a RAN's nuclear erect to
- 2:15Speaker 2: this pretty impressive, isn't it.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It's actually amazing considering sometimes the plans league on Signal.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I mean, give the guy, crist give the guy. They're
- 2:24Speaker 1: getting it done. Man, and everyone who yells about this,
- 2:27Speaker 1: it's like, think about we wanted to get Saddam Hussein?
- 2:30Speaker 1: How much? How many years, how many hundreds of billions
- 2:33Speaker 1: of dollars did we spend in a rack to get
- 2:35Speaker 1: rid of Saddam Hussein? You know what I mean? We
- 2:38Speaker 1: got this guy out. I mean literally in less time
- 2:41Speaker 1: than a Yankee game. Like a Yankey game is about
- 2:43Speaker 1: two hours and five minutes, this was eighty eight minutes.
- 2:46Speaker 1: It's an hour and twenty eight minutes. Any Hole is
- 2:48Speaker 1: an hour and thirty one minutes the iconic film in
- 2:51Speaker 1: the time it took any of you to go home
- 2:53Speaker 1: and watch Andy Hall tonight, we had Midduro out of
- 2:56Speaker 1: a military base Stafeley. I mean, come on, well, you
- 3:00Speaker 1: look back on it.
- 3:01Speaker 2: The Trump method seems the Bush method of let's invade
- 3:04Speaker 2: the country fight for You're right, why didn't they just
- 3:07Speaker 2: go in and capture Husaying before even starting a war?
- 3:10Speaker 2: Just do that first.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Where That's where honestly you got to give Trump credit
- 3:14Speaker 1: for this one thing. A guy who comes from the
- 3:17Speaker 1: business world. In the business world, you have to be efficient.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Business rewards efficiency because if you're efficient, you have less overhead.
- 3:26Speaker 1: You know, you're not wasting as much money. You get
- 3:27Speaker 1: a quick return on your investment. The government does the opposite.
- 3:30Speaker 1: The government rewards inefficiency because when something doesn't work, they go,
- 3:34Speaker 1: oh great, we'll conduct a billion dollar study wondering why
- 3:38Speaker 1: it didn't work, and the study will conclude we need
- 3:41Speaker 1: another billion to try it again. And that's what they're doing.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I mean, we're like a day away from Minnesota saying
- 3:47Speaker 1: we need to study, we need to study, to study
- 3:51Speaker 1: why the daycares didn't have kids of them. Give us
- 3:54Speaker 1: another billion.
- 3:55Speaker 2: That's all it is. H Hey, speaking of all this,
- 3:57Speaker 2: Maduro is sitting in a jail note with this Minnesota stuff,
- 4:01Speaker 2: this is all we're going to talk about now for
- 4:02Speaker 2: a month. He must be furious. He's not on TV anymore.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Maduro will get no coverage, She'll be forgotten.
- 4:06Speaker 1: About, no more memes. He doesn't get any of the
- 4:09Speaker 1: fun videos. You know, you know, it's really stressed out
- 4:13Speaker 1: about all this. And you know this, it's whoever the
- 4:15Speaker 1: printer is for all of these paid protests, because like
- 4:19Speaker 1: the guy like two weeks ago he was making Palestidian flags,
- 4:22Speaker 1: then they became Ukrainian flags. Now they're doing anti ice stuff.
- 4:26Speaker 1: They had a Madurero bump over the weekend. It's like,
- 4:29Speaker 1: I want to know who that printer is that is
- 4:32Speaker 1: turning around, because when Mduk got captured again Saturday morning,
- 4:36Speaker 1: those organized protests were all over the country by Saturday
- 4:39Speaker 1: afternoon and it's probably Soros for somebody else. But whoever
- 4:42Speaker 1: they are, they got a lot of printer act because
- 4:44Speaker 1: I've seen five different flags outside the Fox News building
- 4:47Speaker 1: in the last two weeks, because the protest changes every day.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Well, and you can see you can see Jimmy Fayla
- 4:54Speaker 2: on Fox on the Fox News Channel, and make sure
- 4:56Speaker 2: watch his Saturday night show at ten o'clock. It's excellent,
- 5:00Speaker 2: and of course listen to him every weeknight nine to
- 5:02Speaker 2: midnight here on WR. What's the difference to you between
- 5:06Speaker 2: radio and TV? Which is easier?
- 5:09Speaker 1: Ooh? I mean I like radio because we just have
- 5:12Speaker 1: a little more womb to have a conversation and no
- 5:16Speaker 1: one is chasing me around the studio with a mozobic needle. Okay, TV,
- 5:22Speaker 1: I walk in the door here and it's just like
- 5:24Speaker 1: they're shooting darts at me, just trying to slim me out,
- 5:27Speaker 1: because like I've always dressed like fat Elvis, but in
- 5:30Speaker 1: the last two weeks, I'm telling you go because the holidays,
- 5:33Speaker 1: Like you know you're fat when you're out of breath
- 5:36Speaker 1: reading Okay, I'm reading, by the way, I'm not even kidding,
- 5:41Speaker 1: you're gonna die. I meant to bring this up. I'm
- 5:43Speaker 1: reading this Johnny Carson book that you're quoted in like
- 5:46Speaker 1: several times.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Oh, it's an excellent book, Mark Melcoff. It's the best book,
- 5:49Speaker 2: yes ever on Johnny Carson. It's called Love Johnny Carson.
- 5:54Speaker 2: It's phenomenal.
- 5:55Speaker 1: It is phenomenal. And I'm just randomly banging to the
- 6:00Speaker 1: book and they're like Mark Simon, and They'm like, well,
- 6:02Speaker 1: what what's going on? Was amazing? I meant to tell
- 6:05Speaker 1: you that. And they're great quotes and you have a
- 6:08Speaker 1: great take, and it's so like, I really truly appreciate
- 6:11Speaker 1: your understanding and your connection to Late Night because you're
- 6:15Speaker 1: uniquely qualified to explain to your listeners how modern late
- 6:19Speaker 1: night is failing America. Like it is, like you watch
- 6:22Speaker 1: my show, you can see what I'm trying to do.
- 6:23Speaker 1: It's put people to bed with a smile on their
- 6:25Speaker 1: face and not try to be in charge of the country.
- 6:28Speaker 1: You know, the Kimmels of the world, the Cold Bears
- 6:30Speaker 1: of the world, are actually doing the opposite of our job,
- 6:33Speaker 1: and it really hurts the country because that used to
- 6:36Speaker 1: be this one hour a night that was like a
- 6:38Speaker 1: neutral zone. You now they have like that five miles
- 6:40Speaker 1: between North Korea and South Korea where they don't shoot
- 6:42Speaker 1: at each other. Okay, that's what late night used to be.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Now it's you know, they've taken those five miles and
- 6:48Speaker 1: just turned it into a war zone, so we don't
- 6:50Speaker 1: have the off ramp. So I'm trying. And it's like,
- 6:53Speaker 1: I really do appreciate you getting it. When I read
- 6:55Speaker 1: your quotes in that book, it all made sense.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Yeah, because you are you know, people say, well, why
- 6:58Speaker 2: can't you get well, what why can't get it? Like
- 7:00Speaker 2: a real late night show like we used to have.
- 7:02Speaker 2: It's Jimmy Fayala every Saturday at ten. If Johnny Carson
- 7:06Speaker 2: were alive today, this is what he would be doing
- 7:08Speaker 2: or watching. It's just you just try to be funny.
- 7:10Speaker 2: You're not trying to preach or or persuade or no,
- 7:14Speaker 2: and it's not angry.
- 7:14Speaker 1: No. I don't want to be in charge. Mark Mark.
- 7:16Speaker 1: My identity got stolen last year and my credit score
- 7:19Speaker 1: went up thirty six points. Okay, I shouldn't be in
- 7:24Speaker 1: charge of anything. Those Albanians actually boosted my credit score.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I don't want to steer the economy. I just want
- 7:31Speaker 1: to laugh about it.
- 7:32Speaker 2: You know, hey, you mentioned Elvis. I'm just saying, you know,
- 7:35Speaker 2: today's birthday. He would have been like one hundred and
- 7:38Speaker 2: nineteen or something today. It's his birthday today, So.
- 7:43Speaker 1: What do you mean would have been? I believe he's
- 7:45Speaker 1: still I'm kidding. It is funny. When you go to Graceland,
- 7:49Speaker 1: they kick you out by five. So I have this
- 7:53Speaker 1: belief that he's just alive. He's just making money off
- 7:57Speaker 1: the tours. He probably plays the stock market. He's a
- 7:59Speaker 1: day trader. We go home at five, he comes down
- 8:02Speaker 1: and eat a sandwich in the jungle room. That's my guess.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Well, he was a very talented guy, but day trader.
- 8:08Speaker 2: He wasn't the smartest guy.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Yes, you got me there, all right, you definitely got
- 8:13Speaker 1: me there. I'll trade you this peanut butter and banana
- 8:16Speaker 1: sandwich for a pound of bacons.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what that is. Yeah. Even his menu wasn't
- 8:20Speaker 2: that bright the thing you said. You see the things
- 8:21Speaker 2: he would eat peanut butter and bananas and bacon and yeah.
- 8:25Speaker 2: And so wait, what do you got on Tonight's on
- 8:28Speaker 2: the radio tonight nine to midnight.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Oh, it's a crazy one. Jillian Michaels is on from
- 8:33Speaker 1: The Biggest Loser because she's talking about this RFK food
- 8:37Speaker 1: pyramid thing. Yeah. And then we'll have reporters out on
- 8:41Speaker 1: the scene in Minneapolis, just in case there's any chaos
- 8:44Speaker 1: or whatever. Hopefully it's cold enough that everybody stays home
- 8:47Speaker 1: and behaves. I mean, that's the only thing like is
- 8:49Speaker 1: a comic. In times like this, it is actually a
- 8:52Speaker 1: good time to be doing comedy because you can take
- 8:54Speaker 1: the edge off. Yeah, you don't want to be the
- 8:56Speaker 1: guy on the other side of this, and I don't listen.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I don't have the energy for that, you know. I'm
- 9:01Speaker 1: just trying to tell my dirty jokes and not get
- 9:03Speaker 1: stabbed by that ozambic needle. You know how this works.
- 9:07Speaker 2: But as a guy who wants to be a comedian
- 9:10Speaker 2: making people laugh, this is all perfect. Tim Waltz, Mom Donnie.
- 9:13Speaker 2: This is great for business, isn't it.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Well, that's the one thing I laughed about with Tim Waltz.
- 9:19Speaker 1: It's like as bad as this Minnesota story is. They
- 9:22Speaker 1: said all the public schools were closed today, So I'm like, well,
- 9:25Speaker 1: on on the bright side, this will be the first
- 9:27Speaker 1: time that daycares have kids in them if you close
- 9:30Speaker 1: all the public so you might actually have a kid
- 9:32Speaker 1: in one of those daycares, So that'd be good for them.
- 9:34Speaker 2: I guess he's not kidding. They had to close. They've
- 9:36Speaker 2: closed all the schools in Minnesota today and tomorrow just
- 9:39Speaker 2: to be safe.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Ye's so think when I was growing up, we had
- 9:43Speaker 1: snow days. Now we have riot days. Like there's something
- 9:47Speaker 1: wrong with liberal cities when you're getting a riot day,
- 9:51Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying.
- 9:53Speaker 2: So and Mom, Donnie's going to be perfect for the
- 9:55Speaker 2: next four years. I mean for us to make fun
- 9:58Speaker 2: of it might ruin the city, but perfect for our business,
- 10:01Speaker 2: isn't it.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I love I love his You know I'm gonna work
- 10:06Speaker 1: on free World Cup tickets or affordable World Cup tickets. Yes,
- 10:10Speaker 1: And for everyone who listens to Mark Simona, I'm gonna
- 10:13Speaker 1: work on getting you all a date with Cindy Crawford
- 10:15Speaker 1: Saturday night. You'll get the tube tickets from Mom Tonnie
- 10:19Speaker 1: that aren't coming, and then you'll have a dinner date
- 10:22Speaker 1: with Sidney kra It's like, come on, he just gets on.
- 10:25Speaker 1: He just gets on in front of a camera and
- 10:27Speaker 1: just promises anything. It's it's gonna get tired fast, even
- 10:30Speaker 1: for his supporters, but like you said, it's gonna be
- 10:32Speaker 1: fun for us.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely. Well, Jimmy fail a great talk, and everybody
- 10:36Speaker 2: get that Johnny Carson book. It's called Love Johnny Carson
- 10:40Speaker 2: by Mark Malcolm.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Best, and it is great. I've read a lot of
- 10:46Speaker 1: Carson books. That is the best one I've read by far.
- 10:49Speaker 1: And it's just like you're just a part of the
- 10:52Speaker 1: production of the show. It's so it's, I guess the
- 10:54Speaker 1: best way I could explain it to you, it's like
- 10:56Speaker 1: you're just sitting in on his life. It's it's a
- 10:58Speaker 1: great book and getting past the fact that he quotes
- 11:01Speaker 1: bark Simon.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know, the guy that did it has
- 11:04Speaker 2: been for the last five years doing the Carson Podcast.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Have you ever heard that, Yes, where he interviews everybody
- 11:10Speaker 2: had anything to do with Johnny Carson's fascinating stuff.
- 11:13Speaker 1: So I would love to meet him. I mean it's
- 11:15Speaker 1: really fast. Really, I was blown I was blown away,
- 11:17Speaker 1: and I didn't I didn't know you were in it,
- 11:19Speaker 1: which is even fun, which is even funnier. So there,
- 11:21Speaker 1: it was like a night surprise party for me.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Well, everybody listened tonight. If you haven't heard Jimmy Faylo's
- 11:26Speaker 2: radio show, it is excellent. It's nine to midnight every weeknight,
- 11:30Speaker 2: nine to midnight w R and don't miss his Saturday
- 11:33Speaker 2: night show. It's the closest thing you get to Johnny
- 11:36Speaker 2: Carson Today, best late night show in television, Saturday nights
- 11:39Speaker 2: at ten Fox News Channel. Jimmy Fayla, thanks for being
- 11:42Speaker 2: with us.
- 11:43Speaker 1: You're the best.
- 11:45Speaker 2: All right, take care and don't forget coming up at noon,
- 11:51Speaker 2: Buck Sexton, Klay Travis, that's a real good show every
- 11:54Speaker 2: day at noon. And Sean Hannity. I think it would
- 11:57Speaker 2: be live from Washington, d C. Today at three o'clock
- 12:01Speaker 2: right here on seven ten wo
