- 1:28Speaker 5: Five hit it?
- 1:31Speaker 6: Eddie?
- 1:33Speaker 1: I do want to start this with a clip that
- 1:35Speaker 1: Eddie has presented to the show about the Dallas Cowboys,
- 1:38Speaker 1: usually on Mondays when we do.
- 1:40Speaker 5: Our favorite team talk.
- 1:41Speaker 4: I know, but this is a big deal, all right.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Steven A.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Smith's talking about the Cowboys, and he's talking about them
- 1:45Speaker 1: in a good way, and he hates the Cowboys, hates
- 1:48Speaker 1: the Cowboys.
- 1:48Speaker 5: Here we go, Dallas Cowboy's going to the playoffs. There
- 1:51Speaker 5: you go, Dallas Cowboy's going to the playoffs.
- 1:54Speaker 7: Dak Prescott MVP will be a top two candidate for
- 1:57Speaker 7: MVP on us.
- 2:00Speaker 4: I mean, what does this mean?
- 2:03Speaker 5: Why does he got to do that?
- 2:04Speaker 4: Is he jinxing us? Is he being more of a
- 2:07Speaker 4: jerk by saying this or does he really mean it?
- 2:09Speaker 1: Your offense is really fun and your defense is terrible, No,
- 2:16Speaker 1: terrible there's some I'm not even gonna say. They're pretty bad.
- 2:20Speaker 1: That's what I'm gonna say. Yeah, they're pretty bad. Defense
- 2:22Speaker 1: is pretty bad.
- 2:22Speaker 4: Ye, we've got some good plays. The secondary is decent,
- 2:25Speaker 4: but man, it's just the run game. We can't stop
- 2:27Speaker 4: that run game.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I would say the Bengals defense was worse whenever Joe
- 2:32Speaker 1: Burrow was in. They were having to score forty fifty
- 2:33Speaker 1: points but just barely. Yeah, but I think, yeah, I
- 2:35Speaker 1: think you guys are fun to watch. I don't know
- 2:37Speaker 1: how many games. I don't know if I can make the playoffs.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I mean now, but look at your division. So the
- 2:41Speaker 1: Giants are not good, No, they're exciting. The Giants are
- 2:44Speaker 1: exciting to watch because of Jackson, Dart and Scatterboy. So
- 2:47Speaker 1: that's they're a fun team to watch. They're gonna win
- 2:48Speaker 1: some games. Jane Daniels out this Monday. I think I
- 2:52Speaker 1: saw that for sure. And they've been losing a bit.
- 2:56Speaker 1: The Eagles are really good.
- 2:57Speaker 4: They're really good. But you know, we almost beat No
- 3:00Speaker 4: but weeks you're getting close with them.
- 3:03Speaker 1: You're not gonna win the division, is my point.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Probably not gonna win the division, so.
- 3:06Speaker 1: It doesn't matter you versus the Eagles because I don't
- 3:10Speaker 1: think you're winning that division, so you're gonna.
- 3:12Speaker 5: Need to win.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Ten games. Yeah, I mean ten probably. I mean you
- 3:18Speaker 1: could luck in and go nine and eight.
- 3:21Speaker 4: That could be tough. I mean we have the Broncos
- 3:24Speaker 4: coming up.
- 3:25Speaker 5: I think you can win that.
- 3:27Speaker 4: I think so too. And then I think we have
- 3:29Speaker 4: the Jets, which you should win that Cardinals that's after that.
- 3:34Speaker 6: Mic Raiders and.
- 3:36Speaker 4: I just make up the Jets the Chiefs.
- 3:38Speaker 1: I think you just want the Jets so much you
- 3:40Speaker 1: want to yet same thing. Okay, Yeah, Broncos are three
- 3:44Speaker 1: and a half point favorite. You are playing in Denver.
- 3:46Speaker 1: If you can just win a game like that, that
- 3:49Speaker 1: stupid Panthers game is gonna bite you in the butt.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Yep, dumb Panthers game.
- 3:53Speaker 7: Man.
- 3:54Speaker 5: But I would go down.
- 3:57Speaker 1: So if they trade for Max Crosby, you've heard that, right.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Yes, But I didn't put anything behind that.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I just I don't think that there's smoke billowing out.
- 4:08Speaker 1: But I do think that if you look close enough,
- 4:10Speaker 1: there are traces of smoke.
- 4:14Speaker 5: Dude, he is crazy, he still hurt.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Or I don't know, Okay, I don't know the answer
- 4:20Speaker 1: to that, right, isn't he always kind of hurt.
- 4:23Speaker 5: Yeah, he hurts people.
- 4:26Speaker 4: He does hurt people. We saw him at the NFL Honors.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Do you remember see them?
- 4:30Speaker 1: No, you can look it up and help me. I
- 4:31Speaker 1: didn't even know Jay Daniels was for shot for Monday Night,
- 4:33Speaker 1: but he is.
- 4:34Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah he is.
- 4:35Speaker 4: I know that because of fantasy how to make a
- 4:38Speaker 4: power move. Well, I have Max Crosby on my fantasy team.
- 4:40Speaker 4: He never scores me any points, which is what sucks. No,
- 4:43Speaker 4: you have the kicker Crosby, like I have both Mason
- 4:46Speaker 4: and Max and we don't even kickers in our league.
- 4:48Speaker 5: Uh I what about that?
- 4:52Speaker 4: What about the dat?
- 4:52Speaker 1: But he's just not gonna win. Max Crosby is just
- 4:55Speaker 1: not gonna win with the Raiders. He's not gonna win
- 4:57Speaker 1: this year, He's not gonna win next year. He can
- 5:00Speaker 1: just be a Raider like he fits with what we've
- 5:03Speaker 1: been told as Raiders culture, because we haven't really seen
- 5:06Speaker 1: true Raiders culture except for Vegas or even in California
- 5:11Speaker 1: because they kind of sucked there too for a while
- 5:12Speaker 1: since like the nineties when they won the Super Bowl.
- 5:21Speaker 9: Yeah, the Tuck rule, but just basically put them out
- 5:24Speaker 9: twenty five years ago.
- 5:24Speaker 5: And it's not.
- 5:25Speaker 1: It's even like the Raiders got crazy fans with masks
- 5:28Speaker 1: and stuff.
- 5:28Speaker 5: Now it's just like a parody of what I know.
- 5:31Speaker 4: There's an identity crisis though when they moved to Vegas,
- 5:33Speaker 4: because like that there were you know, and when they
- 5:35Speaker 4: were in California they did have the guys with the
- 5:37Speaker 4: shoulder pads and the face masks they tried. Now and
- 5:40Speaker 4: now it's just like you guess, you guys are different.
- 5:44Speaker 1: It's somebody who want to set a shoulder pads of
- 5:46Speaker 1: the win, right right? U again, Max Crosby.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Would be really cool, that would be awesome.
- 5:52Speaker 1: He tried all your picture you just got from Michael
- 5:54Speaker 1: Parsons for Max Crosby.
- 5:58Speaker 4: I don't know. I mean, I like, you do know
- 6:00Speaker 4: you want Max Crosby. We do want Max Crosby. But
- 6:03Speaker 4: those picks, man, like, that's future Max Crosby. Can he
- 6:06Speaker 4: stay healthy? Who knows? Right?
- 6:08Speaker 5: How can it pick? Well? The picks pan out? Who knows?
- 6:10Speaker 4: Yeah, you don't know anything.
- 6:11Speaker 5: I know what's the deal with Max Crosby? All right,
- 6:13Speaker 5: So Raiders have a bye week and he will play
- 6:16Speaker 5: next week against the Jags. He will play nobody this week?
- 6:20Speaker 4: Yeah, right off? Fill on the couch.
- 6:23Speaker 5: Yeah, and the Raiders say they're not interested in trading it.
- 6:26Speaker 5: Of course you say that, you try to say that
- 6:28Speaker 5: you gotta get, you gotta grease the wheels.
- 6:30Speaker 4: I did think that. So there's Eddie's cowboy minute to
- 6:33Speaker 4: start this pretty good. But are you going on we
- 6:35Speaker 4: got to hear more of this now or no? No,
- 6:36Speaker 4: I just want to talk about Raiders a little bit.
- 6:38Speaker 4: I did think that Pete Carroll would probably would do
- 6:40Speaker 4: a little better with the Raiders than what he's doing.
- 6:43Speaker 1: If I may go ahead, I think you it's hard
- 6:46Speaker 1: to polish a turd. I mean, I think when your
- 6:50Speaker 1: quarterback is Geno Smith and I think his ceiling has
- 7:00Speaker 1: been achieved, I think he hit it, he's been.
- 7:03Speaker 9: There, he lived it, and it's come back down.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Yeah, and then Brock Bowers gets injured like your best
- 7:08Speaker 1: players hurt. I think he's doing with what he has
- 7:12Speaker 1: kind of what would be done by pretty much anybody.
- 7:14Speaker 9: You think they're regretting drafting Gentina so high just because
- 7:18Speaker 9: they were like, oh, this could be a game changer,
- 7:20Speaker 9: make the Raiders.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I think it's too early to regret. I think if
- 7:22Speaker 1: you asked that not even next season.
- 7:24Speaker 5: But you're three. You could probably just needs so much.
- 7:28Speaker 5: That's exactly.
- 7:29Speaker 7: So.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I don't think there's a single person they could have
- 7:30Speaker 1: drafted that would have changed it for them. But genty,
- 7:36Speaker 1: he's awesome, but sometimes he's not. But it's not his fault.
- 7:39Speaker 1: And awesome because on them they freaking hand on the ball.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Yeah he's got nowhere to go.
- 7:43Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, I can't blame him for that.
- 7:45Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 7:45Speaker 1: So all right, that's another Raiders tongue. We have too
- 7:47Speaker 1: much Raiders. Just enough Cowboys and too much Raiders. So
- 7:53Speaker 1: I guessed it on a podcast yesterday and it's a
- 7:57Speaker 1: new podcast.
- 7:57Speaker 4: You cheated on us.
- 7:58Speaker 5: I did not.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I guessed promoted this podcast on it. It's called Zeke
- 8:03Speaker 1: and Zoon And so Zeke is Greg Swindell. He used
- 8:06Speaker 1: to pitch in the major leagues for a long time.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I pitched a Texas is now ESPN played by play
- 8:11Speaker 1: guy and Keith Mortland, who played in Major League Baseball forever
- 8:14Speaker 1: and is the Texas Longhorn. He did all the broadcast
- 8:16Speaker 1: stuff there. And so they started a podcast and I
- 8:19Speaker 1: went on first, and I'm like, I'm not.
- 8:20Speaker 5: A long horn fan. I need everybody to know that.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Like that's the first part like, I'm not coming on
- 8:24Speaker 1: to your little Longhorn podcast. But so I was talking
- 8:30Speaker 1: with them, and Greg played with Grace when they Mark
- 8:35Speaker 1: Grace when they won the World Series in Arizona, and
- 8:40Speaker 1: so he was going to Baseball fantasy camp this weekend.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Greg was and Grace is going to be there, and
- 8:45Speaker 1: I was like, dude, I've been trying to get Grace
- 8:47Speaker 1: on forever, like what up, like tell him and now?
- 8:50Speaker 1: And I'm like, he probably knows because I've tried like
- 8:52Speaker 1: seventy two different avenues and I keep getting nothing back.
- 8:55Speaker 1: So I'm probably like the little psychostalker.
- 8:58Speaker 4: I'm not doing it. Okay.
- 9:00Speaker 5: It's like everybody's come to me in every way.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I'm not talking to this guy, and I don't even
- 9:04Speaker 1: know what I would talk about at this point. It's
- 9:06Speaker 1: just been something I haven't been able to do, like
- 9:08Speaker 1: my white Well and he's your he's your favorite. Yeah,
- 9:10Speaker 1: there's three people that are on my white Well list
- 9:12Speaker 1: that I haven't got. It's Mark Grace, David Letterman, and
- 9:15Speaker 1: Sting the wrestler.
- 9:16Speaker 4: Yeah not the singer.
- 9:18Speaker 5: The singer.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Yes, in case you're one, Bok Sam.
- 9:23Speaker 1: So I was thinking though after we had this conversation
- 9:26Speaker 1: about going to a fantasy baseball camp.
- 9:28Speaker 5: That sounds awesome.
- 9:30Speaker 9: Now what does that mean? Exactly? Like he did he
- 9:33Speaker 9: tell you.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Well, we didn't talk about the camp like at linked
- 9:37Speaker 1: or anything. But what I think you do is I
- 9:38Speaker 1: think you go on you like catch balls, Okay, because
- 9:42Speaker 1: I did a basketball camp for coach cal and it
- 9:45Speaker 1: was two days. And so what you do is they
- 9:48Speaker 1: put you through drills at first, you like learn, they
- 9:52Speaker 1: teach you some stuff, and then they draft teams and
- 9:54Speaker 1: you play a tournament and you got real coaches and
- 9:56Speaker 1: it's that kind of thing that's pretty cool. I think
- 9:58Speaker 1: for baseball that'd be way at my alley more than basketball.
- 10:02Speaker 1: That sounds What I took away from is I got
- 10:04Speaker 1: to find a baseball fantasy camp to go to.
- 10:06Speaker 5: Yeah, wouldn't that be so cool?
- 10:07Speaker 4: Is it too late to join this one?
- 10:09Speaker 1: Probably because I don't think I had the time to
- 10:10Speaker 1: get over there right now. But exciting and it's it's
- 10:14Speaker 1: in Arizona.
- 10:15Speaker 5: That one is.
- 10:15Speaker 1: I think it's a diamondback fantasy cool.
- 10:18Speaker 9: Plains the Mark Grace thing right, because he said.
- 10:19Speaker 1: He's a heat our Grace is also like the color
- 10:22Speaker 1: Yeah he's not not. I want to be understand I'm
- 10:25Speaker 1: talking about race here.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Oh boy, it's broadcast terms.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Yes. Once I said Frank Thomas is my favorite color guy,
- 10:31Speaker 1: and holy crap, yeah I didn't say.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Because he was a color.
- 10:35Speaker 9: Color Yes, Brandon, you ever heard that story.
- 10:39Speaker 5: That's so that's hilarious. I said, I love Frank Thomas.
- 10:44Speaker 5: I said, I love Frank Thomas as a color guy.
- 10:47Speaker 1: And what yeah, yeah, yo, dude, I never thought about it.
- 10:52Speaker 1: And so I want everybody to know when I say
- 10:55Speaker 1: color guy, there is the play by play, there's a
- 10:57Speaker 1: person who adds what they call color, which is everything
- 11:00Speaker 1: around it, prospective, understand teaching. And it just so happened
- 11:07Speaker 1: that Frank Thomas is a black guy. And so I said,
- 11:09Speaker 1: Frank Thomas.
- 11:10Speaker 5: I think good. I think I said he's he was,
- 11:13Speaker 5: He's a great color guy. And then everything and.
- 11:16Speaker 9: Then just moved on into the show, and well everybody
- 11:19Speaker 9: was like, yep, we agree, and all.
- 11:20Speaker 5: The articles come out.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Bobby Bones he's my favorite too.
- 11:25Speaker 1: So I think Mark Grace is the Arizona diabat.
- 11:35Speaker 5: Oh that was the time.
- 11:38Speaker 4: But at the time, you know, like you worry about
- 11:41Speaker 4: it because now we can laugh about that, but at
- 11:43Speaker 4: the time you're like what. I don't want any want
- 11:45Speaker 4: to think the wrong thing. I didn't think anything. I
- 11:49Speaker 4: thought nothing, so dumb.
- 11:52Speaker 9: And if you watch sports long enough, you wouldn't know,
- 11:55Speaker 9: you know.
- 11:55Speaker 5: But if you don't, then I.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Would never say I'm not even gonna say back what
- 11:59Speaker 1: I would ever say.
- 12:00Speaker 9: Yeah, So we get it.
- 12:02Speaker 1: There's that.
- 12:02Speaker 5: By the way, we are ruining. We're rooting big time
- 12:04Speaker 5: for Kansas over Kansas State this weekend.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Big time.
- 12:08Speaker 8: Oh we are, we are?
- 12:11Speaker 4: Why are we doing that again?
- 12:12Speaker 5: What do you mean?
- 12:13Speaker 4: Why?
- 12:13Speaker 5: Why would you? Why would you not?
- 12:15Speaker 4: Dude, We've been to both schools and well we haven't
- 12:17Speaker 4: been to.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Kansas football, but we had coach like pult been on
- 12:20Speaker 1: the show.
- 12:20Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, but we've been to Kansas State.
- 12:22Speaker 8: We have.
- 12:23Speaker 4: They hosted us very kindly there.
- 12:25Speaker 9: Yeah, they were very kind still one of the best.
- 12:27Speaker 4: Cooper Bebe was cool with us.
- 12:29Speaker 1: There was okay, well then you guys go to Kansas
- 12:31Speaker 1: State do whatever you want.
- 12:32Speaker 9: Well, we don't have you don't have a helmet though
- 12:34Speaker 9: we do have a Kansas helmet.
- 12:35Speaker 1: That don't have a Kansas State helmet. And I'm friends
- 12:39Speaker 1: with coach Kansas and I think they've lost, like because
- 12:43Speaker 1: I think he's been there a few years now and
- 12:45Speaker 1: has taken that program to be like a respectable program,
- 12:48Speaker 1: which Kansas football.
- 12:49Speaker 5: It's not that it wasn't respective.
- 12:50Speaker 1: It wasn't even thought of because that's a basketball school
- 12:54Speaker 1: and I think they have lost like so many in
- 12:57Speaker 1: a road to Kansas State in that because.
- 12:58Speaker 5: Kansas State's a football school.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and so we're rooting for Kansas because I haven't
- 13:02Speaker 1: won it in like six years. I don't know if
- 13:03Speaker 1: somebody may look that.
- 13:04Speaker 4: Up, I can jump on that.
- 13:06Speaker 5: I'll jump on it the way.
- 13:09Speaker 4: You're not alone. I don't want to feel on that.
- 13:11Speaker 9: Are you jumping on?
- 13:12Speaker 4: Like, let's go Kansas.
- 13:14Speaker 9: We're rooting foko about the streak because if they win.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Here's the thing, if they win or if they you know,
- 13:22Speaker 1: they got some games cup, we may go up there.
- 13:24Speaker 4: Oh that'd be cool.
- 13:25Speaker 7: Cool.
- 13:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean we.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Can go through whenever we want. But I'm saying we
- 13:28Speaker 1: can probably even go for like a.
- 13:29Speaker 5: Game down, you know what I mean?
- 13:31Speaker 8: Yes, exactly.
- 13:32Speaker 5: We want our friends to win.
- 13:34Speaker 4: Well they dress us up, though, can we.
- 13:36Speaker 5: During the game?
- 13:37Speaker 4: That freaking we dress during the game? We sneak in
- 13:43Speaker 4: a game again on the sideline, No, no, we go
- 13:45Speaker 4: in sit down again, trouble get up twelve men.
- 13:51Speaker 5: On the field or the twelfth man. Accidentally, anyway, I'm
- 13:55Speaker 5: rooting for Kansas.
- 13:56Speaker 1: I think they're a two point favorite, but they haven't
- 13:58Speaker 1: won in a while.
- 13:59Speaker 5: So it's been two hundred and three days since what
- 14:03Speaker 5: Kansas has beat Kansas State?
- 14:05Speaker 1: Now, that can't be true in football, that can't be true.
- 14:07Speaker 6: I'm seeing since two thousand and eight.
- 14:08Speaker 5: Yeah, that's more two hundred. Oh that's what I meant. Yeah,
- 14:11Speaker 5: two thousand days.
- 14:12Speaker 9: They haven't played in three hundred and sixty, but it's
- 14:14Speaker 9: been over two hundred.
- 14:15Speaker 1: So you guys have told the confused what I think?
- 14:17Speaker 5: Mike? What do you say?
- 14:18Speaker 6: I see two thousand and eight it was the last
- 14:20Speaker 6: time they beat him.
- 14:21Speaker 1: So Kansas has not bea Kansas standing football since two
- 14:23Speaker 1: thousand and eight. Wow, we're a pro Kansas show this week,
- 14:26Speaker 1: and you're right, Kansas is favored by three points.
- 14:28Speaker 5: Okay, we're a Sunflower showdown.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, man, don't get enough for that. It used
- 14:33Speaker 1: to be called the Sunflower shootout Till Woke gon Right.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Every time till.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Woke got it and killed the Sunflower shootout?
- 14:40Speaker 5: How we remember it?
- 14:42Speaker 4: It was so cool to you shot all the sunflower.
- 14:44Speaker 1: It used to be called the Sunflower gang bang before that, man,
- 14:48Speaker 1: why would you change that?
- 14:49Speaker 5: And then all of a sudden, it's like, you can't
- 14:50Speaker 5: call that woke wins again. You guys down for the
- 14:56Speaker 5: Sunflower gang bab We can't. We're going this for twenty years.
- 15:00Speaker 5: We haven't money.
- 15:00Speaker 1: We got our tickets, tradition, we got our seats, some
- 15:03Speaker 1: flour gang bang.
- 15:06Speaker 9: All the friends are going, dang, I got a worse one.
- 15:10Speaker 5: Ain't gonna do it.
- 15:14Speaker 4: We're gonna gang bang.
- 15:16Speaker 1: He Let me let me text you what the worst
- 15:17Speaker 1: one would have been, and you tell me. Bye, Okay,
- 15:25Speaker 1: here we go. Let's just say I would have said this.
- 15:31Speaker 4: Oh I can't say that. You can't.
- 15:35Speaker 5: It's just worse, way worse. It's worse.
- 15:39Speaker 4: That's funny, Kevin. You want to see it.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just worse. It's some flower shootout something our
- 15:46Speaker 1: gang bang.
- 15:47Speaker 9: A picture of you and Bobby, are you?
- 15:49Speaker 4: Oh?
- 15:51Speaker 9: Oh yeah, I.
- 15:54Speaker 5: Can't call it that. Yeah, that's one joke. That's too far,
- 16:00Speaker 5: too far, too far. Don't do that. We didn't go there,
- 16:02Speaker 5: we didn't come back there. That's right, that's too far.
- 16:06Speaker 4: What's this other thing that? Oh, you send me that
- 16:09Speaker 4: TikTok of the colonel popping?
- 16:11Speaker 5: So have you guys seen it?
- 16:12Speaker 4: Dude?
- 16:13Speaker 5: Let them see it.
- 16:13Speaker 1: This colonel, how colonel pops its popcorn? Watch it.
- 16:16Speaker 4: It's really cool.
- 16:17Speaker 5: It's really cool.
- 16:18Speaker 1: How like it's slow motion of a colonel, I said,
- 16:25Speaker 1: Eddie is and we can put it up in a
- 16:27Speaker 1: video with it because it's like it's like watch the
- 16:29Speaker 1: growth of a klonel of popcorn as it comes up
- 16:33Speaker 1: fully fruit fruit, and then as it's popping, all of
- 16:35Speaker 1: a sudden, the colonel lists his middle finger right at you.
- 16:37Speaker 4: You know what's funny is when I open that up,
- 16:39Speaker 4: it said that your wife had sent that to me
- 16:41Speaker 4: already like on the bottom and said, your wife, like
- 16:44Speaker 4: Caitlyn sent that to you.
- 16:45Speaker 1: She sent it to me, and I said it to you,
- 16:47Speaker 1: but she also said it to you. My wife doesn't
- 16:50Speaker 1: said it a lot, but when she does, she doesn't
- 16:52Speaker 1: miss Yeah, she doesn't miss Hey Mike, yep, Well we've
- 16:57Speaker 1: been we've done this like four episodes in a row.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Can you know where the weather and fateball Arkansas for
- 17:02Speaker 1: Saturday rain?
- 17:05Speaker 5: Yeah, pulled the official forecast.
- 17:06Speaker 1: I'd like to hear the official forecast, debating going.
- 17:12Speaker 5: Auburn.
- 17:13Speaker 4: What's the percentage at right now of you going.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Uh solid fifty to fifty right just right down the middle,
- 17:20Speaker 1: right down the middle.
- 17:21Speaker 5: Dude, it's going to be hugh freezing out there, right yeah.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Fifty nine degrees, eighty chance of rain eighty nine. But
- 17:28Speaker 1: thunderstorms are just rained.
- 17:29Speaker 6: That's just rained. A quarter of an inch?
- 17:30Speaker 8: No, did you? Oh?
- 17:31Speaker 4: A quarter of an inch?
- 17:33Speaker 5: Of course, as we call it an eddie.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Oh, it's not funny. It's not accurate. There's not funny.
- 17:40Speaker 5: How much what's the rain chance?
- 17:42Speaker 1: You und?
- 17:42Speaker 5: Sixty percent? How much? Well about an nettie? What Mike?
- 17:47Speaker 7: No?
- 17:47Speaker 6: Yeah, and then raining at night all day?
- 17:49Speaker 4: But a quarter inch, let's be serious. For a second
- 17:52Speaker 4: quarter inch is means it's probably gonna just drizzle all day?
- 17:56Speaker 5: Is that what it means?
- 17:57Speaker 4: Yea, because the quartering is not that much, you would
- 18:01Speaker 4: It also says local heavy rainfall possible. Well, there you go.
- 18:04Speaker 4: You could have one of those moments where it gets heavy.
- 18:07Speaker 4: I'll ask my wife if she wants to go, I'll go,
- 18:11Speaker 4: you're gonna pauncho it up?
- 18:12Speaker 5: Oh dude, do we have to do this? Do we
- 18:15Speaker 5: have to do this?
- 18:15Speaker 4: What are you gonna do?
- 18:16Speaker 1: Oh?
- 18:16Speaker 4: Umbrella?
- 18:17Speaker 5: Do we have to do this?
- 18:18Speaker 4: Umbrella with Arkansas logo on it?
- 18:20Speaker 5: Do we need to do this?
- 18:21Speaker 8: You know?
- 18:21Speaker 9: What are we doing?
- 18:23Speaker 4: Kevin?
- 18:24Speaker 1: I'll be in a luxury sweet Oh god, a roof
- 18:27Speaker 1: over his head, dude. Food on the table, Oh good food,
- 18:31Speaker 1: except it' usually nachos and a really good nachos.
- 18:33Speaker 5: But I can't eat cheese, just chips.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Can you have popcorn? Not because it has butter all
- 18:40Speaker 4: over it?
- 18:40Speaker 1: But even if it's even if it's not butter that
- 18:42Speaker 1: you pour on it, it's usually made and popped with
- 18:44Speaker 1: a butter, and they'll have metal fingers on them.
- 18:47Speaker 9: Good point.
- 18:48Speaker 4: I'm being honest with you, dude. I don't know how
- 18:49Speaker 4: you live that life like I know you have to,
- 18:52Speaker 4: but that's all. That's tough, dude, that's how like that?
- 18:55Speaker 4: You know everything you can't eat like that's my diet.
- 18:59Speaker 5: It was my diet.
- 18:59Speaker 4: I scream cereal popcorn.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Do you just find ways?
- 19:04Speaker 4: Jeezburgers?
- 19:05Speaker 5: S man.
- 19:05Speaker 1: People, some people have had some hard times and I could,
- 19:07Speaker 1: I could, we could start Nelson Mandela.
- 19:10Speaker 4: Oh he Hunger Striker.
- 19:12Speaker 5: No that Nelson Mandela went to Prinson.
- 19:16Speaker 4: It's tough time too.
- 19:18Speaker 1: In comparison wise, mine's are not hard, and there's they
- 19:20Speaker 1: lived it really hard. But then you totally confused Gandhi
- 19:22Speaker 1: and Nelson Mandela.
- 19:23Speaker 4: I'm an idiot.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Yeah, you did win two hundred and twenty dollars in bonus, Betsy.
- 19:29Speaker 4: Draft Kings, King of the End Zone?
- 19:30Speaker 5: Baby, who's your guy?
- 19:32Speaker 4: Jami or Gibbs?
- 19:33Speaker 5: Come on?
- 19:34Speaker 4: And so you split like I don't know, a couple
- 19:36Speaker 4: of million dollars or something with everyone that picks a
- 19:38Speaker 4: winning someone that square a touchdown and my cut was
- 19:40Speaker 4: two hundred and twenty bucks. And dude, I feel bad
- 19:43Speaker 4: for DraftKings because I've already made I've turned half of
- 19:46Speaker 4: that into real money already.
- 19:47Speaker 1: So answer me this. I never played that in time.
- 19:50Speaker 1: I'm not even sure what that is. You guys always
- 19:52Speaker 1: talk about it because Brandon's also won that we want it.
- 19:55Speaker 5: The same week, uh, like three weeks ago, I think, okay,
- 19:58Speaker 5: So what is there?
- 20:00Speaker 4: So you pick a player to score a touchdown and
- 20:02Speaker 4: you bet on like five dollars? What I did? Jamier
- 20:05Speaker 4: Gibb Gibbs the longest, No, mine was any touchdown, No,
- 20:09Speaker 4: but King of the Touchdown I think the longest King.
- 20:11Speaker 5: Of the inZone is the longest run.
- 20:13Speaker 1: You don't even know how you won. Somebody plays poker
- 20:16Speaker 1: and wins and you're like, what's the crad.
- 20:18Speaker 4: So you're telling me Jamier Gibbs was because he did
- 20:20Speaker 4: have that long touchdown. How you want, dude? I just thought,
- 20:24Speaker 4: I picked Jamier Gibbs, and I want that's amazing, that's
- 20:27Speaker 4: even cooler.
- 20:28Speaker 5: And you click the tab of the King of the
- 20:29Speaker 5: ind I did.
- 20:30Speaker 4: I did so the fact that Jamier Gibbs had the
- 20:33Speaker 4: longest touchdown, I get a split of the big pot.
- 20:36Speaker 5: Is it free?
- 20:37Speaker 4: No? You well, it's just a bet.
- 20:39Speaker 5: Minimum five dollars, minimum five dollars bet.
- 20:41Speaker 4: You can do one hundred dollars on Jamire Gibbs.
- 20:44Speaker 5: But how do you win?
- 20:45Speaker 1: If you bet one hundred on Jamire Gibbs for King
- 20:48Speaker 1: of the Ring or whatever.
- 20:49Speaker 5: Whatever your bet is the bet, will you win the bet?
- 20:53Speaker 5: Whatever you bet? And then if your guy ends up
- 20:56Speaker 5: being the longest touchdown run, you then get a split.
- 21:00Speaker 1: So is the Jamier Gibson any time touchdown bet? Yes,
- 21:03Speaker 1: and then you're automatically into the King of the Ring.
- 21:05Speaker 5: Yes, But you have to click the King of the
- 21:06Speaker 5: ends the King of.
- 21:08Speaker 4: The Ring opt in, which, dude, you should opt into
- 21:11Speaker 4: everything that's on top.
- 21:12Speaker 5: I ought to try. I don't even have any more
- 21:14Speaker 5: ghost tokens.
- 21:14Speaker 9: I do all that stuff.
- 21:15Speaker 5: I haven't had a ghost token in Have you had.
- 21:17Speaker 1: A ghost token once?
- 21:18Speaker 5: Oh?
- 21:18Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I haven't had a ghost token since. Dude,
- 21:21Speaker 1: how do I get more ghost tokens?
- 21:22Speaker 5: Mike? What do we have to do?
- 21:24Speaker 1: A good question, because I too, and you guys are
- 21:26Speaker 1: surprised because that too in a riot two weeks in
- 21:28Speaker 1: a row.
- 21:29Speaker 5: And you guys are like, you got a second ghost
- 21:30Speaker 5: token w a season.
- 21:32Speaker 4: It could be did you win with your ghost token?
- 21:34Speaker 5: Both?
- 21:35Speaker 4: Yeah, that's probably why they stopped giving it to you.
- 21:36Speaker 5: I both cut them off. I wont King of the tokens.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, well they have King of the Court now too.
- 21:42Speaker 1: For basketball, Yes, longest three pointer?
- 21:44Speaker 4: No? This is uh?
- 21:45Speaker 8: What is it?
- 21:47Speaker 9: Rebounds and assists combined? Like you pick one player that
- 21:50Speaker 9: night on Tuesday.
- 21:52Speaker 4: It's a windy every night if he plays on Tuesday night.
- 21:55Speaker 4: For sure, this week it was Luca.
- 21:57Speaker 5: Mmm, hey he's looking in shape, slimmer.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I've watched a little We told you, we watched the
- 22:03Speaker 1: entire well most of the Thunder and Rockets game. It
- 22:06Speaker 1: was interesting to c kt you play. I was watching
- 22:10Speaker 1: Dancing with the Stars on my phone. My wife was
- 22:11Speaker 1: watching the basketball game.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Did you hear about no?
- 22:14Speaker 1: Yeah, well it was they were about to do the
- 22:17Speaker 1: elimination of My wife a Thunder fan. Her dad watches
- 22:21Speaker 1: every Thunder game, and so she's like, hey, it's the
- 22:23Speaker 1: first game they're dropping the banner in the rings all that,
- 22:28Speaker 1: and so she's like, want to watch, and I'm like cool.
- 22:30Speaker 1: So so she's watching the game while I'm watching the dancing.
- 22:34Speaker 5: Interesting, So I would assume another households.
- 22:37Speaker 9: I was going to say, that sounds.
- 22:38Speaker 4: Interesting as in what.
- 22:43Speaker 9: I mean, I guess I get the Dancing with the
- 22:45Speaker 9: Stars ties, but that's uh yeah, that would be totally
- 22:49Speaker 9: flipped in my place.
- 22:49Speaker 1: I literally was only watching to see if I don't
- 22:52Speaker 1: need to justify it.
- 22:53Speaker 5: I don't need to justify it. I am who I am.
- 22:55Speaker 4: You're good, but we know who you are.
- 22:57Speaker 1: I wouldn't have cared to watch it live, but I
- 23:00Speaker 1: I'm rooting for Emma Slater, who is just the best person.
- 23:03Speaker 1: And Andy Richter, who I don't know but I've always
- 23:05Speaker 1: watched on Conan and I just really like Emma and
- 23:10Speaker 1: Andy is not the best dancer. It's probably the worst dancer,
- 23:14Speaker 1: but that doesn't matter. If you try hard and the
- 23:18Speaker 1: people like you, that's actually valued more than the dancing,
- 23:21Speaker 1: if you do the math on it, and I could
- 23:22Speaker 1: do that whole thing. But I'm rooting for them, and
- 23:24Speaker 1: they last in another week, so it's pretty happy.
- 23:26Speaker 9: They're still in it.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:29Speaker 9: I did watch week one and I was like, oh man,
- 23:31Speaker 9: it might be tough, but to your point, everyone must
- 23:33Speaker 9: like him. Yeah, I don't mean that in like a
- 23:34Speaker 9: diminishing way, Like.
- 23:36Speaker 1: He's very likable and it's getting better, which is really
- 23:38Speaker 1: what that show should be. And it is to a point, really,
- 23:41Speaker 1: that show is life.
- 23:44Speaker 5: Do people like you?
- 23:45Speaker 1: Yep, that's the biggest part of anything. Do you also
- 23:48Speaker 1: have some skills, sure, but if people don't like you,
- 23:51Speaker 1: you have no chance, right, just in general. So that's
- 23:55Speaker 1: what's up. So I'm rooting for them. I hope they win.
- 23:56Speaker 1: And so I was watching that She's watching the game,
- 23:58Speaker 1: and then I just stayed on and watched for double
- 24:00Speaker 1: we went and kept going to it went to overtime.
- 24:03Speaker 4: Double overtime, then they only won by one.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Things well, Durant ended up falling Shay and Shay made
- 24:09Speaker 1: two free throws and then was on fire. I'm torn
- 24:13Speaker 1: on the NBA timeout advanced the ball because there's two
- 24:16Speaker 1: seconds left timeout.
- 24:17Speaker 5: They advanced the ball.
- 24:17Speaker 4: Yeah, put it on their side of the court.
- 24:19Speaker 1: I only like it when it affects me positively.
- 24:21Speaker 5: I hate it. I hate it when the other team has.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Did a double take. What's it doing over there?
- 24:25Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 24:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I hate it when it works for somebody else.

- 25:54Speaker 4: like Mike, I have your cousins ron?
- 25:58Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 25:58Speaker 4: Okay, well Ken Ken, Ken, who's married to my cousin?
- 26:03Speaker 4: He was roommates with Andy Richter in college?
- 26:06Speaker 5: No way?
- 26:06Speaker 4: Yeah? Not crazy?
- 26:08Speaker 3: Wow?
- 26:08Speaker 4: Which is crazy? You talked about Andy Richter a few
- 26:10Speaker 4: times and I never even put that together. And then
- 26:11Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, you know what, I should still bother that?
- 26:13Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 26:13Speaker 1: I had Ken, I had messed, I had tweeted out.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Now I post on Instagram story, Hey rootin Frandy and Emma,
- 26:20Speaker 1: and Andy was sick for like four days of a week.
- 26:22Speaker 1: It's impossible to train for that show if you don't
- 26:23Speaker 1: know how to dance and you miss a single day,
- 26:26Speaker 1: almost impossible. And he missed so many days from being
- 26:29Speaker 1: really sick. And I was like, hey, rooting for him
- 26:31Speaker 1: because I know how hard it is to be sick.
- 26:32Speaker 1: And Andy and his wife both messaged me and they
- 26:33Speaker 1: were like, hey, thanks so much for doing that, because
- 26:35Speaker 1: that's cool brutal, and so I was like, yeah, let's
- 26:38Speaker 1: go awesome. Anyway, Emma was my favorite non partner because
- 26:44Speaker 1: you always got to go with your o G even
- 26:45Speaker 1: though could you just on that show. Whoever your partner is,
- 26:48Speaker 1: you're gonna get in a fist fight with because it's
- 26:50Speaker 1: like a wife or a best friend, or i'd say
- 26:52Speaker 1: a roommate. More than a best friend, it's like a
- 26:54Speaker 1: wife or a roommate. You're just gonna fight with them
- 26:56Speaker 1: at some point because you're you're with them all the time. Yeah,
- 26:59Speaker 1: and there are gonna be days where you're tired or
- 27:01Speaker 1: they're tired, or god forbid.
- 27:02Speaker 5: It mix and you're both tired.
- 27:04Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 27:05Speaker 1: But Sharna is the OG and the favorite because we
- 27:07Speaker 1: just spent so much time together, but am a number
- 27:09Speaker 1: one draft pick off the board after her, so rooting
- 27:12Speaker 1: for them.
- 27:12Speaker 4: And Emma's so pretty.
- 27:14Speaker 1: You've always said that, Yeah, yeah, so pretty. I'm now
- 27:20Speaker 1: getting messages from people because I've been doing a series.
- 27:22Speaker 1: The only reason I'm doing the series is because I
- 27:24Speaker 1: did one video about it and We've got a million
- 27:26Speaker 1: frigging views, and I'm like, oh, the show's kind of
- 27:29Speaker 1: popping again ratings wise, like it's having a really successful season,
- 27:32Speaker 1: So I might as well take advantage of this and
- 27:33Speaker 1: just do some content about it. And so when shooting
- 27:35Speaker 1: these videos, just reliving all the dances one by one,
- 27:37Speaker 1: which I haven't watched back fully since I actually did
- 27:40Speaker 1: the show. And so I'm getting comments now on my
- 27:44Speaker 1: YouTube page, which you can go to it's at Bobby
- 27:47Speaker 1: Bone's channel on YouTube to watch all these It's why
- 27:50Speaker 1: I do the Bobby Casts. And they're like, oh, for sure,
- 27:52Speaker 1: you're on love with your partner and you forget you
- 27:55Speaker 1: do if from outside, there is no way that you
- 27:58Speaker 1: can watch it and go, oh, they're not being But
- 28:02Speaker 1: when you do it and you're just grinding away at it,
- 28:05Speaker 1: there is. It's the opposite of what you're thinking.
- 28:08Speaker 9: Interesting. I know because I thought the same thing the
- 28:10Speaker 9: other night. I was watching a little bit with the
- 28:13Speaker 9: Something za eron.
- 28:14Speaker 1: There are a couple of them that do bang like
- 28:16Speaker 1: once a season it does happen. Well, they do put
- 28:19Speaker 1: they strategically in my opinion, my opinion, only they do cast.
- 28:22Speaker 1: They try to cast like a couple where the people
- 28:25Speaker 1: are single and they could be possibly a storyline, but
- 28:27Speaker 1: for the most part, due there's no time for that.
- 28:29Speaker 1: There's no it's not even the environment for that, because
- 28:32Speaker 1: you're just like training right, like you're too tired to
- 28:38Speaker 1: get a boner.
- 28:40Speaker 4: Well that sounds impossible and sound.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Like whiskey, but I'm telling you it's just not. That
- 28:45Speaker 1: environment is not for that. And Zach Effron's brother is
- 28:50Speaker 1: a Dylan enough Ron I think so, yeah, he's his
- 28:53Speaker 1: partner is married to one of the other dancers.
- 28:55Speaker 9: Okay, see, I would have never I didn't know where
- 28:58Speaker 9: because she wasn't.
- 28:58Speaker 5: There when I was there.
- 28:59Speaker 1: But that culture is so much I would compare it
- 29:02Speaker 1: to guys slapping butts in football or baseball is like, oh,
- 29:04Speaker 1: they must be gay, because if you didn't know the culture,
- 29:06Speaker 1: you just see two guys grabbing each other's butts.
- 29:08Speaker 5: You're like, oh he likes butts.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, and you're like, no, no, no, it's just part
- 29:11Speaker 1: of the athletic culture.
- 29:11Speaker 5: Doesn't matter.
- 29:12Speaker 1: You're you're naking the shower together, you're touching butts. Dances
- 29:16Speaker 1: kind of like that.
- 29:17Speaker 4: You make it, that's why.
- 29:23Speaker 9: Your butt but you guys.
- 29:28Speaker 6: You don't do that.
- 29:28Speaker 5: There's still lines.
- 29:30Speaker 1: This never was any but dances kind of like that.
- 29:36Speaker 1: The comparison I would make is like slapping butts or
- 29:39Speaker 1: like a bunch of dudes after they practice taking a
- 29:41Speaker 1: shower at the same time. You're just touching and pushing
- 29:46Speaker 1: and pulling. It's just that's just never a thing.
- 29:49Speaker 4: And bop it yeah, twisting.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm strying to see those comments again, like you
- 29:55Speaker 1: can tell you were in love and I'm like, dude,
- 29:57Speaker 1: she wanted to wring my neck for four days.
- 30:00Speaker 9: With what happened off camera?
- 30:02Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, I got a couple other things. Why
- 30:08Speaker 1: don't I go to Brandon Marcelo first? Oh, I got
- 30:11Speaker 1: and I gotta do it. What's up price for me?
- 30:14Speaker 9: No?
- 30:15Speaker 5: No?
- 30:15Speaker 4: Oh dang, I holping like they whispering.
- 30:18Speaker 5: I was like bringing there, like bringing bringing the cake
- 30:21Speaker 5: in fantasy baseball camp.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Let's do our let's do our parlay here, Eddie pick one,
- 30:27Speaker 1: Brandon pick one. Excuse me, I, Kevin, we should kick
- 30:30Speaker 1: Eddie out this week?
- 30:31Speaker 4: Okay, go ahead. I mean I was feeling good about
- 30:33Speaker 4: this one.
- 30:35Speaker 5: Then well, if whoever fails, I was gonna say, do
- 30:37Speaker 5: we have that?
- 30:38Speaker 9: Well I guess no.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Let's just okay, Eddie, You're in Brandon next week? Can
- 30:42Speaker 1: come in the triangle of death?
- 30:43Speaker 4: All right? If I if I hit mine, though, can
- 30:45Speaker 4: I stay in ed debatable? Okay, you've missed, so all right,
- 30:48Speaker 4: but okay, but you know I'll tell you what.
- 30:50Speaker 5: If you do, you can.
- 30:51Speaker 4: But if I miss it, for sure, Brandon's up.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Yeah, because I think that's like seventeen in a row.
- 30:54Speaker 4: Yeah, Man, college football is tough for me.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Okay, so we're gonna build our twenty five whistles college
- 30:59Speaker 1: football parlay.
- 31:00Speaker 5: I will go to you, Kevin.
- 31:02Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm gonna go with Texas A and M minus
- 31:06Speaker 9: two and a half at LSU at defense LS good.
- 31:10Speaker 9: LC's offense is bad, so I'm hoping that they cover.
- 31:15Speaker 5: You.
- 31:16Speaker 4: Sound confident. I would hope that Eddie Man every week,
- 31:21Speaker 4: I'm like Beelochick's got to get better, like this team's
- 31:23Speaker 4: got this.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Is where you're going what you keep touching the Stoway.
- 31:26Speaker 9: You're going to North Carolina.
- 31:28Speaker 4: And I'm like, I'm not falling for it anymore. Okay,
- 31:31Speaker 4: we're going Virginia minus ten and a half against North
- 31:35Speaker 4: Carolina against North Carolina so far, two favorites. I'm gonna
- 31:39Speaker 4: I'll take it.
- 31:40Speaker 1: I'll take a rough rough and so I will go
- 31:45Speaker 1: Ole Miss plus five and a half at.
- 31:46Speaker 5: Oklahoma like it.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Plus they may not win the game, but I'm gonna
- 31:53Speaker 1: go Ole Miss and you're getting five and a half
- 31:56Speaker 1: points at Oklahoma.
- 31:58Speaker 5: Triangle of Death.
- 32:00Speaker 9: Nine change minders are too late, late, too late.

- 33:33Speaker 1: First things first, Just because it's on top of mind,
- 33:36Speaker 1: you think Jimbo Fisher is coming back to coaching If it's.
- 33:39Speaker 3: Not this year, I don't know when, because there's gonna
- 33:41Speaker 3: be a lot of jobs open. We're gonna see thirty
- 33:44Speaker 3: plus jobs come open in the FBS this year.
- 33:47Speaker 8: I think a lot of it's.
- 33:47Speaker 3: Gonna be dependent really on whether he wants to coach
- 33:52Speaker 3: a mid tier to lower tier power program or a
- 33:57Speaker 3: high group.
- 33:58Speaker 8: Of six school like a UA be maybe.
- 34:02Speaker 3: And I talked to him a year ago actually about
- 34:06Speaker 3: getting back into coaching and how he wanted to do it,
- 34:08Speaker 3: But he kept saying he's gotta be the right situation.
- 34:12Speaker 3: And I just don't think he'd be all that interested
- 34:15Speaker 3: in a job where he can't go, like win a championship.
- 34:19Speaker 3: I think he's still got quite a bit of pride
- 34:23Speaker 3: from that standpoint. So it'll be fascinating to see if
- 34:26Speaker 3: he's changed his thinking.
- 34:28Speaker 8: At all going into this year.
- 34:30Speaker 3: But I mean, he's certainly gonna have a lot of
- 34:33Speaker 3: job openings and opportunities to look at.
- 34:35Speaker 8: I think like a.
- 34:37Speaker 3: Job that he could best fit into that would be
- 34:40Speaker 3: quote unquote mid tier too, you know in the power conferences,
- 34:44Speaker 3: would be like a Virginia tech you know, he's a
- 34:46Speaker 3: West Virginia guy. Maybe there's something to work out there
- 34:49Speaker 3: or or maybe even like a like an Arkansas or
- 34:52Speaker 3: something like that.
- 34:53Speaker 5: Oh don't whisper that. Stop it.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Well, I mean, listen, you never know how far down
- 34:59Speaker 3: some of the school are going to get down their lists,
- 35:01Speaker 3: because there's there's gonna be a lot of openings and
- 35:03Speaker 3: a lot of candidates that a lot of these schools
- 35:05Speaker 3: are going to share.
- 35:06Speaker 1: I think it's interesting with him, especially for two reasons.
- 35:09Speaker 1: One obviously, Florida State, he was the guy that it
- 35:14Speaker 1: was so surprising that he went to Texas A and M.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Because he was the guy at Florida State, and Florida
- 35:18Speaker 1: State's of the guy school, Like if you're there, that's
- 35:21Speaker 1: not a job you go to to go to another school.
- 35:24Speaker 1: So it was surprising that he left Florida State to
- 35:27Speaker 1: go to Texas A and M. Until you hear the
- 35:28Speaker 1: money that he made, right, and Texas A and M
- 35:30Speaker 1: was really invested. They started spending a lot of money
- 35:32Speaker 1: around that time, obviously because they got to pay him
- 35:34Speaker 1: out like crazy. So it would be kind of an
- 35:37Speaker 1: ego hit to have to go to a lower school.
- 35:39Speaker 1: But I could understand going to a lower school if
- 35:41Speaker 1: you were a younger guy, and you could spend four
- 35:44Speaker 1: or five years building that and then getting back to
- 35:46Speaker 1: a higher school. But Jimbo Fisher is no spring chicken.
- 35:50Speaker 1: And I think that also has to be thought that
- 35:52Speaker 1: if you go to a UAB, you're kind of doing
- 35:54Speaker 1: it to retire there.
- 35:55Speaker 8: Right, Yeah, probably. I mean he's sixty years old.
- 35:59Speaker 5: He's only sixty.
- 36:00Speaker 8: Yeah, he's only sixty. He's not too old.
- 36:03Speaker 5: I thought he was like eighty five. Holy cow.
- 36:07Speaker 8: You know, it's funny.
- 36:08Speaker 3: I was doing an interview on Sillite Radio earlier this
- 36:12Speaker 3: week and they said, he's like seventy, right, I said,
- 36:16Speaker 3: I said, no, he's sixty.
- 36:17Speaker 8: They went, oh, he was born in sixty. I know.
- 36:19Speaker 3: No, he's sixty. He's sixty years old. No, I you know,
- 36:24Speaker 3: it's funny. He was up for the UAB job years
- 36:28Speaker 3: ago and UAB.
- 36:29Speaker 8: Passed him up.
- 36:31Speaker 3: Oh, And I think that kind of always stuck under
- 36:33Speaker 3: his skin a little bit.
- 36:36Speaker 8: Yeah, I don't know.
- 36:36Speaker 3: I think, you know, Jimbo Fisher probably thinks, like a
- 36:41Speaker 3: lot of us, thinks much more highly of himself than
- 36:44Speaker 3: a lot of people do out there in the industry.
- 36:48Speaker 3: And I again, I wonder over the last year since
- 36:51Speaker 3: I've talked to him, if he's checked himself and looked
- 36:54Speaker 3: himself in the mirror, because if he really wants to coach,
- 36:56Speaker 3: he keep He kept telling me when I sat down
- 36:59Speaker 3: with him, you know, I just missed teaching the kids
- 37:01Speaker 3: and everything. It's like, well, if you're really miss coaching,
- 37:04Speaker 3: go coach high school ball. But you know that's not
- 37:08Speaker 3: what the ego tells him.
- 37:10Speaker 1: I think Jimbo Fisher and he's definitely asking my advice
- 37:14Speaker 1: on this one. You got to get a skincare routine
- 37:17Speaker 1: because I thought you were like one hundred. You know,
- 37:18Speaker 1: you gotta get a better skincare routine.
- 37:20Speaker 5: Kase.
- 37:21Speaker 1: You definitely got to put out more of a I'm
- 37:23Speaker 1: only sixty years old, because that's really not that old.
- 37:26Speaker 4: He just turned sixty, dude, that's crazy to me.
- 37:29Speaker 5: Wow.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Okay, so that's number one and then too any chance
- 37:33Speaker 1: like Florida State would even want him.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Back, Ah, I don't know's that's a long road to go,
- 37:39Speaker 3: but you know, Florida State. Not to say Florida State's
- 37:43Speaker 3: facing financial problems, but man, they have spent a lot
- 37:46Speaker 3: of money over the last several years. And if they
- 37:51Speaker 3: fire Mike Norveldy end of this year, it's going to
- 37:53Speaker 3: cost them about fifty eight million dollars to buy him
- 37:55Speaker 3: out in addition to all the other assistants. So you're
- 37:58Speaker 3: talking about probably like seventy eighty million dollars at the
- 38:02Speaker 3: very least, then hire another coach, like maybe if they
- 38:05Speaker 3: can get him at a discount, say hey, welcome back, buddy.
- 38:08Speaker 3: But even so, like when he left Florida State, it
- 38:11Speaker 3: wasn't necessarily even on the best of terms, not only
- 38:13Speaker 3: because he spurred them, but because the offensive line there
- 38:17Speaker 3: was really diminished and really falling apart. And that's why
- 38:20Speaker 3: a big reason why, you know, his replacement Willy Taggart
- 38:24Speaker 3: and even Mike Norville in his early ten years struggled
- 38:27Speaker 3: so much because they just didn't had emmy offensive linemen
- 38:29Speaker 3: and they had to take a while to fix that.
- 38:31Speaker 8: So I don't know, I just don't think.
- 38:35Speaker 3: I don't think he's in a fantastic position to get
- 38:39Speaker 3: a job that he kind.
- 38:39Speaker 8: Of dreams of.
- 38:41Speaker 3: But I did throw out there a possibility like he's
- 38:45Speaker 3: getting paid seven point one million dollars a year by
- 38:47Speaker 3: Texas A and M still for a buyout, and he
- 38:50Speaker 3: gets paid that yearly for the next five years. So
- 38:53Speaker 3: why not get your new school. Go pitch yourself, like, hey,
- 38:57Speaker 3: you know Virginia Tech or Arkansas. I'm sorry to say this, Bobby,
- 39:02Speaker 3: but like, hey, give me a five year contract, but
- 39:05Speaker 3: don't start paying me till year three, and then my
- 39:07Speaker 3: first two years invest heavily in nil and resources and
- 39:12Speaker 3: paying my assistant coaches. And I'll prove it to y'all.
- 39:16Speaker 3: We'll go and compete for a championship in the first
- 39:19Speaker 3: two years, and then you can start paying me in
- 39:20Speaker 3: year three. And then you know, after three years or whatever,
- 39:23Speaker 3: you don't think it's great, then just fire me and
- 39:25Speaker 3: all you're really out of is one year of salary
- 39:28Speaker 3: because he's already getting that big payday from Texas A
- 39:31Speaker 3: and M.
- 39:31Speaker 1: And I think the precedent there because in college there
- 39:34Speaker 1: isn't but Russ Wilson, for example, when he left Denver
- 39:37Speaker 1: and they had him all that money, Like when he
- 39:38Speaker 1: went to Pittsburgh, he took like one hundred bucks, like
- 39:41Speaker 1: that was his salary because he knew anything you took
- 39:43Speaker 1: was going to eat out of, so Pittsburgh got him
- 39:45Speaker 1: super cheap. It's basically that same theory of I'm getting
- 39:49Speaker 1: paid by this team because they owe me this money,
- 39:52Speaker 1: so I'm gonna pick where I go next and take
- 39:54Speaker 1: very little to hurt the cap. Now there's not a
- 39:56Speaker 1: cap in college, but there is. You want to spend
- 39:58Speaker 1: as little as possible because you only have so much
- 40:00Speaker 1: to invest.
- 40:01Speaker 5: And I'll play quarterback for you.
- 40:02Speaker 1: I could be a coach for you for a million
- 40:04Speaker 1: a year and you could take all. Because he's again
- 40:07Speaker 1: because he's only got a then he gets six million
- 40:09Speaker 1: from A and M according to you know, just.
- 40:11Speaker 3: The well, there's no mitigation in the contract. He doesn't
- 40:14Speaker 3: have to mitigate.
- 40:15Speaker 5: He gets it all.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Then, Yeah, he gets it all no matter what, so
- 40:18Speaker 3: it even better spot for him.
- 40:20Speaker 1: Yeah, then I would do it for a nickel and
- 40:22Speaker 1: just try to get to one of the big schools. Yeah, man, okay,
- 40:25Speaker 1: Jimbo skincare routine and go coach somewhere for a nickel.
- 40:29Speaker 1: That's what I would tell him if I were advising
- 40:30Speaker 1: Jimbo Fisher dang okay, other jobs? Uh, Florida, is it
- 40:36Speaker 1: lane or than everybody else's second tier?
- 40:39Speaker 8: I think so.
- 40:41Speaker 3: I mean, he's the one that just makes the most sense.
- 40:44Speaker 3: You know another guy that I think would do very
- 40:47Speaker 3: very well. There would be Eli Drinklewitz at Miszoo. I
- 40:50Speaker 3: also think his personality, how he just kind of gets
- 40:54Speaker 3: under people's skin, is something that would fit in very
- 40:57Speaker 3: well there at Florida, much like we saw previously with
- 41:00Speaker 3: Steve Spurrier and even in Danvill into a certain extent,
- 41:05Speaker 3: you know, and don't and don't discount the idea of
- 41:07Speaker 3: maybe James Franklin going down there.
- 41:09Speaker 8: Franklin was.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Considered for that job, and there was some rumors around him,
- 41:16Speaker 3: you know a few years back about maybe leaving Penn
- 41:19Speaker 3: State for there. Let's remember, I mean James Franklin, yes, fired,
- 41:22Speaker 3: but he was just at the national champion, our national
- 41:26Speaker 3: semi finals this past year in the college football playoffs.
- 41:29Speaker 3: So I think that would be something that can be considered.
- 41:32Speaker 3: But the thing is is like trying to predict this
- 41:35Speaker 3: coaching carousel and who's going to get hired where, I
- 41:37Speaker 3: think it's as hard and as difficult as it's ever
- 41:39Speaker 3: been because a lot.
- 41:40Speaker 8: More of these schools are so willing to.
- 41:42Speaker 3: Just go tell us what you want to be paid,
- 41:45Speaker 3: tell us what you want so you can stick around.
- 41:47Speaker 3: They you know, Indiana's already done with Kurt Signetti, giving
- 41:49Speaker 3: him a new deal already. Ole Miss is currently trying
- 41:52Speaker 3: to work with Lane Kiffin and his agent Jimmy Sexton
- 41:55Speaker 3: to give him a bigger deal. In fact, I was
- 41:57Speaker 3: texting with the athletics director there Keith on Tuesday about
- 42:01Speaker 3: where that was at, and he says they're still they're
- 42:03Speaker 3: still talking, trying to make progress on it. But I
- 42:07Speaker 3: would be shocked if Lane Kiffen gets a new deal
- 42:11Speaker 3: together here within the next two or three weeks.
- 42:13Speaker 8: I think he's gonna.
- 42:15Speaker 3: Smartly let this play out and see how he can
- 42:19Speaker 3: maybe get a better paid eight ole miss or you know,
- 42:21Speaker 3: potentially get the job at Florida if that's what he wants.
- 42:23Speaker 1: I think one of the more interesting and odd things
- 42:26Speaker 1: about this cycle one there's so many but too so
- 42:28Speaker 1: many coaches are getting fired early in mid which means
- 42:32Speaker 1: there's a whole lot of talking and nobody can commit
- 42:34Speaker 1: to anything like Lane Eli any of these coaches that
- 42:38Speaker 1: have teams that are still in the mix because they
- 42:40Speaker 1: they literally can't go yeah, they can't take a job
- 42:43Speaker 1: whether team's still in the hunt to make the playoff.
- 42:46Speaker 1: So it just gives us a whole lot of time
- 42:48Speaker 1: to talk about something that really there can be nothing
- 42:51Speaker 1: definitive happen exactly.
- 42:53Speaker 3: And it's again that's going to be part of the
- 42:55Speaker 3: reason why this cycle is going to be so crazy,
- 42:57Speaker 3: because you're to hear a bunch of weird stuff, I believe.
- 43:01Speaker 8: I mean, we're already I'm already hearing.
- 43:02Speaker 3: Weird stuff in the background about you know, the process
- 43:06Speaker 3: of a lot of these schools as far as just
- 43:08Speaker 3: reaching out to people through intermediaries and then also even
- 43:11Speaker 3: talking to some potential candidates that are assistant coaches and
- 43:15Speaker 3: coordinators just to kind of do like here's our sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth,
- 43:19Speaker 3: tenth option. But again, there's gonna be so many jobs open.
- 43:23Speaker 3: You know, half these schools are probably gonna be disappointed,
- 43:26Speaker 3: their fan bases are going to be kind of disappointed
- 43:29Speaker 3: just go meh with their higher because there's just gonna
- 43:32Speaker 3: be way too many jobs open, and the big schools
- 43:33Speaker 3: are going to get to who they want, and everybody
- 43:36Speaker 3: below them.
- 43:36Speaker 8: Is gonna have to maybe take some chances.
- 43:40Speaker 1: I have a theory, and I want to ask you
- 43:43Speaker 1: first what you hear what you say you can well,
- 43:46Speaker 1: you can say you're hearing about the Arkansas job.
- 43:49Speaker 8: It's still very early.
- 43:51Speaker 3: I do think that some of the names you know,
- 43:54Speaker 3: the high tier names so to speak, that you've heard
- 43:56Speaker 3: out there are probably not going to be realistic options
- 44:03Speaker 3: at this point because the other jobs that are opening.
- 44:06Speaker 3: And then also you have to consider how these coaches
- 44:08Speaker 3: are performing currently, and there's gonna be some other jobs
- 44:12Speaker 3: that come open that we're not quite expecting or didn't
- 44:15Speaker 3: expect in the preseason that we're gonna have to weigh here.
- 44:19Speaker 3: You know, Auburn is one that could very possibly come open.
- 44:23Speaker 3: In fact, my opinion is is that probably does come open.
- 44:28Speaker 3: If Arkansas beats Auburn this weekend, I think that'll kind
- 44:32Speaker 3: of put a nail in the in the coffin there.
- 44:35Speaker 3: Got to look at LSU for example. I mean, if
- 44:37Speaker 3: Brian Kelly and them kind of goes south even further
- 44:40Speaker 3: this season, that's a possibility. They got a big one
- 44:43Speaker 3: in the Bayou this weekend against Texas A and M.
- 44:46Speaker 3: If they win that game, I think that changes the
- 44:48Speaker 3: tenor completely and even out Brent Vinnables. Look at the
- 44:52Speaker 3: remaining schedule for them, I think or four of their
- 44:55Speaker 3: five final opponents all rank in the top twenty, and
- 44:58Speaker 3: they get Old Miss this week and that's a big
- 45:01Speaker 3: game in Norman. So I think this week is really
- 45:04Speaker 3: kind of a potentially kind of the folkrum for jobs
- 45:08Speaker 3: like those those three that I just mentioned in the
- 45:10Speaker 3: SEC where if they win those games, everything's fine and
- 45:14Speaker 3: those jobs probably won't open, But if they lose them,
- 45:16Speaker 3: then maybe the floodgates open up quite a bit.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Do you think that Arkansas will hire Bobby Petrino?
- 45:25Speaker 3: I think a lot more's got to happen for that
- 45:28Speaker 3: to happen. One, he needs to start winning games, you know.
- 45:31Speaker 3: I find it interesting that so many people are just like, man,
- 45:34Speaker 3: this team's playing so hard, and you can tell they
- 45:37Speaker 3: care for him. It's just like, yeah, but they're still
- 45:40Speaker 3: zering two I mean under him. I mean, and the
- 45:44Speaker 3: scores are very similar to what they were beforehand. I
- 45:47Speaker 3: think everybody's focused so much on just that final score
- 45:50Speaker 3: for the Notre Dame game and they almost assume like, well,
- 45:53Speaker 3: that's how every game would have been after that. Well,
- 45:56Speaker 3: look at the games before that. Everything was like a
- 45:58Speaker 3: one possession loss against the top five, top ten Ole
- 46:03Speaker 3: Miss team, for example, on the road. So what's different
- 46:06Speaker 3: about losing at home by one possession against Texas A
- 46:11Speaker 3: and M or losing on the road at Tech Tennessee
- 46:14Speaker 3: by one possession. It's the same stuff that's been plaguing them.
- 46:18Speaker 3: They can't close. They got a lot of talent offensively
- 46:20Speaker 3: in their defense, just struggles. I think that's been the
- 46:23Speaker 3: case all year. Nothing's different.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I think if he beats Auburn that gives him
- 46:28Speaker 1: a shot. I think if he loses to Auburn that
- 46:30Speaker 1: is probably over. Let me roll a scenario out and
- 46:33Speaker 1: you can you tell me how you would interpret it.
- 46:35Speaker 1: So I was, you know, I write a decent amount
- 46:38Speaker 1: of checks to the Arkansas program, and I usually send
- 46:41Speaker 1: them a substantial amount of money, and no, I'll send
- 46:43Speaker 1: him my substantial amount of money yesterday and I said,
- 46:45Speaker 1: you know what, I'm actually going to send a I'm
- 46:49Speaker 1: going to add to it. I'm gonna supplement this substantial
- 46:51Speaker 1: amount of money with another bit of money. But let's
- 46:53Speaker 1: go ahead and put it toward basketball, is what I said.
- 46:56Speaker 1: And it was met with, Hey, look, you got a
- 47:00Speaker 1: coaching thing going on. Is there any way we can
- 47:02Speaker 1: like maybe put it toward football as well. I interpret
- 47:06Speaker 1: that as they're looking for a new coach to hire,
- 47:09Speaker 1: not that they're going to hire Patrino, because they could
- 47:11Speaker 1: probably get Patrino at a discount and rate.
- 47:13Speaker 3: Don't you think uh that, or they're they're putting all
- 47:16Speaker 3: their uh they're moving their money around so they could
- 47:19Speaker 3: help them attract a coach.
- 47:22Speaker 1: That's well, that's what I yes, yes, somebody that's not Patrino,
- 47:25Speaker 1: because I don't think they're going, hey, we're really trying
- 47:28Speaker 1: to double up our raising money for the coach to
- 47:30Speaker 1: hire Patrino full time.
- 47:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I still think I mean, unless they just go
- 47:36Speaker 3: on a tear here, and even if he wins like
- 47:39Speaker 3: two more games, like, I just don't see them making
- 47:42Speaker 3: that movement because if they made that movie, if he
- 47:45Speaker 3: like won a couple of games, I think it just
- 47:47Speaker 3: shows you that they they whiffed on some of the
- 47:49Speaker 3: guys they wanted, and they see Patrino as like a
- 47:52Speaker 3: kind of a trial run again, like you know, he's
- 47:55Speaker 3: he's the stop gap potentially, but I don't think he
- 47:59Speaker 3: can run a pro like that of going, well, let's
- 48:01Speaker 3: just give him a couple of years.
- 48:02Speaker 8: You can't do that.
- 48:04Speaker 3: And I've argued this, Bobby, and I've said this over
- 48:07Speaker 3: and over again that the program really is kind of
- 48:10Speaker 3: an inflection point in a lot of reasons, and not
- 48:13Speaker 3: to get too long winded. But you know, college football
- 48:16Speaker 3: is probably going to look the same in five years.
- 48:18Speaker 3: I know everybody says that seems like every five years
- 48:20Speaker 3: since the pandemic, but it won't because there's a possibility
- 48:23Speaker 3: that we end up seeing a super league get formed
- 48:25Speaker 3: or some type of breakaway with football where it's just
- 48:28Speaker 3: a football only league. And the reason why I say
- 48:30Speaker 3: that is because everybody else has been preparing for that.
- 48:33Speaker 3: I mean, the ACC's new grant of rights or contract
- 48:35Speaker 3: or whatever they put together with in the last year
- 48:38Speaker 3: allows teams to leave the conference at a lesser financial
- 48:42Speaker 3: penalty if they go join a football only conference, which
- 48:47Speaker 3: kind of fits into the will ouse of what Clemson
- 48:49Speaker 3: and Florida State, North Carolina, even Virginia Tech and Miami
- 48:53Speaker 3: may potentially do at some point if something like that
- 48:56Speaker 3: were to arise. And then you have the Big Ten
- 48:58Speaker 3: trying to protect itself by infusing private equity into their
- 49:02Speaker 3: conference and making their sixteen teams sign a grant of
- 49:06Speaker 3: rights through twenty forty six, and you've got you know, Michigan,
- 49:10Speaker 3: Ohio State and everybody rebuffing that said, we don't want that.
- 49:13Speaker 8: So the doors are open.
- 49:15Speaker 3: There's like a pathway open here for a super league
- 49:18Speaker 3: to be created. So why does that matter to someone
- 49:20Speaker 3: like Arkansas. Well, Arkansas right now wouldn't be including that
- 49:23Speaker 3: super league. I mean, Arkansas would end up being just
- 49:26Speaker 3: a pretty much what a group of six school is
- 49:29Speaker 3: right now, the new group of six type school, where
- 49:32Speaker 3: if you're not part of that football only league, then
- 49:35Speaker 3: what are you really? You're just a team in the
- 49:37Speaker 3: American Conference pretty much. And you've got to start winning
- 49:41Speaker 3: now and spending money now to potentially.
- 49:44Speaker 8: Get back up there.
- 49:45Speaker 3: That's why you see programs like Texas Tech spending so
- 49:48Speaker 3: much money to win big and win big now so
- 49:52Speaker 3: they can try and position themselves to be a little
- 49:54Speaker 3: bit more appetizing to the possibility, even if it is
- 49:59Speaker 3: far flowing out there, to be able to be part
- 50:01Speaker 3: of this thirty two team or whatever super league if
- 50:04Speaker 3: it were to ever come to be. And you know,
- 50:06Speaker 3: you got to make a decision if your Arkansas, if
- 50:08Speaker 3: you want to be part of that, then you need
- 50:10Speaker 3: to spend the money now and neck like it. And
- 50:11Speaker 3: if you don't, then you're sending the message out there
- 50:13Speaker 3: that you don't take it seriously.
- 50:14Speaker 1: What about a couple of these big twelve guys who
- 50:17Speaker 1: are playing at schools that aren't particularly football schools but
- 50:21Speaker 1: have won, like a Sadderfield's got Cincinnati a pretty strong place,
- 50:26Speaker 1: and Leipold in Kansas that's a basketball school. Like you know,
- 50:29Speaker 1: he probably what about hiring one of those guys? Do
- 50:32Speaker 1: you think those guys could be on the.
- 50:34Speaker 3: Move if Wisconsin comes up? I think Lionce Leipold would
- 50:37Speaker 3: be a heavy target there. He's got background there. He
- 50:40Speaker 3: coached at Wisconsin Whitewater coming up through the ranks. Saderfield
- 50:45Speaker 3: is an interesting discussion point there, just because he was
- 50:49Speaker 3: on the hot seat entering this year. He hadn't done
- 50:51Speaker 3: too well there, but he's obviously struck it a little
- 50:54Speaker 3: bit big here, especially through the transfer portal and some
- 50:57Speaker 3: of the support they've had there. I'm not sure his
- 51:00Speaker 3: would get a lot of connection to a lot of
- 51:02Speaker 3: these jobs. You know, Matt Campbell at Iowa State, which
- 51:06Speaker 3: he's always been successful and consistent there, but he's done
- 51:09Speaker 3: so in a program that just doesn't spend a lot
- 51:11Speaker 3: of money on football.
- 51:12Speaker 8: In fact, I remember talking to him in July.
- 51:15Speaker 3: And he like was hesitant to even when I asked
- 51:18Speaker 3: him about like are they supporting you fully through the
- 51:22Speaker 3: revenue sharing and he said, oh, we're getting there, So
- 51:25Speaker 3: maybe someone like him, maybe he would finally be willing
- 51:28Speaker 3: to move, because he's turned down opportunities in the past
- 51:30Speaker 3: to stay there.
- 51:31Speaker 8: He's been very loyal.
- 51:34Speaker 3: But yeah, you know, there's a lot of great coaches,
- 51:36Speaker 3: especially in the Big Twelve, that don't get mentioned for
- 51:38Speaker 3: other jobs just because I think partly because that league
- 51:42Speaker 3: beats up on themselves so much. So like a great
- 51:44Speaker 3: coach might still end up with three or four losses
- 51:48Speaker 3: just because that league gets so crazy. The other issue, though,
- 51:52Speaker 3: like with a lot of those great Big Twelve coaches,
- 51:54Speaker 3: is a lot of them are coaching at their alma mater,
- 51:57Speaker 3: right Yeah, Kenny Dillingham at Arizona State doing very well,
- 52:01Speaker 3: Kalani Sataki at BYU, So it's kind of difficult to
- 52:06Speaker 3: consider them as maybe some big time prospects of some
- 52:08Speaker 3: of these other schools.
- 52:09Speaker 1: Well, the final question I'll ask in is based off
- 52:12Speaker 1: that is that Clark Lee obviously went to Vanderbilt, came back,
- 52:15Speaker 1: and Vanderbilt's a real player. It's weird to say Vanderbilt
- 52:18Speaker 1: they're for real and clarkly is for real. He was
- 52:21Speaker 1: awesome as a coordinator Notre Dame. He's flipped the program
- 52:25Speaker 1: around so much so that and we know Clark a
- 52:27Speaker 1: little bit. When he said they were a few years
- 52:29Speaker 1: ago at the press conference like here to win a
- 52:31Speaker 1: national championship, we thought it was kind of funny. We
- 52:33Speaker 1: were like, oh, that's good to get for him to
- 52:35Speaker 1: say something funny like that. But like it looks like
- 52:38Speaker 1: now I really believed it and like they have a
- 52:41Speaker 1: great shot to make the playoff. My question, do you
- 52:43Speaker 1: think Clarklee would leave a Vanderbilt which isn't really a
- 52:47Speaker 1: football school except he made it that and that's his school.
- 52:51Speaker 3: That's a very difficult decision he'd have to make. I
- 52:54Speaker 3: think that if a Penn State were to come calling,
- 52:56Speaker 3: it's very difficult to turn that down because you're built
- 53:00Speaker 3: to where every year you know you're gonna have a
- 53:02Speaker 3: chance to contend in your conference at Vanderbilt, and your
- 53:06Speaker 3: best years you're hoping to be in the conversation among
- 53:10Speaker 3: the top four, top five, like they are this year.
- 53:13Speaker 3: You also have to consider, you know, I hate to
- 53:16Speaker 3: say this, but like Vanderbilt's winning a lot for a
- 53:19Speaker 3: lot of reasons, but their big reason is they've got
- 53:22Speaker 3: quarterback Diego Pavier and the other teams don't. He's not
- 53:25Speaker 3: going to have that next year. Now they've built great
- 53:28Speaker 3: pieces around him. I think their offensive line is phenomenal
- 53:31Speaker 3: this year. But at some point you have to decide,
- 53:35Speaker 3: like is this as good as it's going to get here?
- 53:38Speaker 3: That's the big question he's got to ask himself. But
- 53:40Speaker 3: also he's in a great support structure there. I mean,
- 53:43Speaker 3: you've seen what they've done with the stadium, the facilities there.
- 53:47Speaker 3: They've really invested heavily in that that I think would
- 53:50Speaker 3: be a very difficult decision for him to make to make.
- 53:52Speaker 3: But man if like Penn State or a Florida or
- 53:56Speaker 3: something like that, we're to come calling like how do
- 53:58Speaker 3: you tell them no? And if you do tell them no,
- 54:00Speaker 3: I think that's kind of sets the presidence. Again, as
- 54:03Speaker 3: I say this, as we see with Kurt Signetti at
- 54:05Speaker 3: Indiana signing a new big contract saying I'm gonna stay here,
- 54:10Speaker 3: I think it really takes someone that just goes I'm
- 54:12Speaker 3: gonna be loyal and I'm gonna stick here to do that,
- 54:16Speaker 3: even when these other programs that are set up to
- 54:18Speaker 3: win every single year come calling, what.
- 54:20Speaker 5: Are you doing this weekend?
- 54:21Speaker 8: I'm gonna go to Auburn, Arkansas.
- 54:25Speaker 3: I've been traveling every week, so these next two weeks,
- 54:28Speaker 3: I'm staying back. I thought I was gonna sit on
- 54:29Speaker 3: the couch and watch games and write and talk to
- 54:31Speaker 3: people on the phone.
- 54:33Speaker 8: But I'm gonna go.
- 54:33Speaker 3: There just because I think pat I think Arkansas is
- 54:36Speaker 3: gonna win. I think it'll be Petrino's first big win.
- 54:39Speaker 3: So that's a storyline, but even more so in the
- 54:42Speaker 3: national perspective, if Hugh Freeze loses that game at Auburn,
- 54:46Speaker 3: I think that's probably the potentially the end there, and
- 54:49Speaker 3: so I'm interested to see how Freeze reacts after the
- 54:53Speaker 3: game if you lose, and of course talk to people
- 54:56Speaker 3: around the program about what the future might hold there
- 54:59Speaker 3: for the But again, you go to a lot of
- 55:01Speaker 3: these games just going here are the possible storylines, which
- 55:04Speaker 3: ones are possible that might hit. So you go there
- 55:07Speaker 3: just in case, and I might go there, and I'll probably,
- 55:10Speaker 3: you know, maybe not even write anything, but you go
- 55:13Speaker 3: there just in case.
- 55:15Speaker 1: I think I may go too. But what kept me
- 55:17Speaker 1: out was the weather last week. And it's still like
- 55:19Speaker 1: chance rain, right, are you trying to find in chance rain?
- 55:22Speaker 3: Yeah, it's supposed to rain Friday and then all day Saturday.
- 55:25Speaker 3: It looks like, yeah, I've got I've got tickets of
- 55:28Speaker 3: the game every you know, every week. I'm a season
- 55:30Speaker 3: ticket holder. I've yet obviously I don't go to the games.
- 55:33Speaker 3: I usually just give him to friends. And I gave
- 55:35Speaker 3: him to a friend actually this morning, and my wife
- 55:40Speaker 3: and my kid that you know, they've been to one
- 55:42Speaker 3: game this year. But like the weather and then also
- 55:44Speaker 3: are he plays basketball and soccer on Saturdays makes it difficult.
- 55:47Speaker 3: But yeah, it's been string of bad lucky the last
- 55:50Speaker 3: two weeks, just bad bad weather.
- 55:52Speaker 1: If I look and it's done to like twenty percent,
- 55:54Speaker 1: I'll be there. I just you know, I'm getting older.
- 55:57Speaker 1: I don't need to deal with that crap.
- 55:58Speaker 5: I don't need.
- 55:59Speaker 1: I don't need to get time trying to go to
- 56:00Speaker 1: a game and get wet.
- 56:01Speaker 5: Like who am I?
- 56:03Speaker 1: All right, Brandon, good to talk to you, buddy, And man,
- 56:07Speaker 1: it's exciting. I just wish there could be like some
- 56:10Speaker 1: like conclusions to these coaching the cycle, but there just
- 56:14Speaker 1: can't because most of the coaches in the mix are
- 56:15Speaker 1: still playing for things.
- 56:17Speaker 3: Yeah, and I think it'll be fast and furious. That
- 56:20Speaker 3: last week of November in early December, there's gonna be
- 56:23Speaker 3: a lot of just movement as far as hirings and stuff,
- 56:26Speaker 3: and like all the dominoes will start falling quickly in succession.
- 56:29Speaker 8: It's really gonna be wild.
- 56:31Speaker 3: As much as like fans really look at like signing day,
- 56:34Speaker 3: these two that would be the big thing.
- 56:35Speaker 8: There's gonna be about a.
- 56:36Speaker 3: Two week period where it's gonna be pretty well in
- 56:38Speaker 3: the carousel. Hey, if you come to Faye, they'll look
- 56:42Speaker 3: me up.
- 56:42Speaker 8: I like to see it Saturday. If I'm in the
- 56:44Speaker 8: press box.
- 56:45Speaker 5: Look me up.
- 56:45Speaker 1: I'll call you before I even get there, before we
- 56:47Speaker 1: even get to the stadium. He's like, hey, man, if
- 56:49Speaker 1: you see me now, I'll just text you and be like, hey, dude,
- 56:51Speaker 1: you round find a phone booth. He's like, hey, if.
- 56:53Speaker 4: You see a guy that looks like me, yell from
- 56:56Speaker 4: across the hall now, Brandon, good to see you, buddy,
- 56:58Speaker 4: and I'll talk.
- 56:59Speaker 8: To you week all right, see me.
- 57:07Speaker 1: I did want to talk about the Randy Johnson thing,
- 57:09Speaker 1: which I thought was really cool. And you're seeing these
- 57:11Speaker 1: adult men, which.
- 57:11Speaker 5: Is weird they show up.
- 57:13Speaker 1: I don't have a problem with adult men in jerseys.
- 57:16Speaker 1: My rule, if you wear a jersey. It needs to
- 57:19Speaker 1: be somebody older than you. So if you're a fifty
- 57:22Speaker 1: year old man, you kind of need to wear a
- 57:23Speaker 1: baby jersey or like or like somebody from the Seven
- 57:26Speaker 1: Willie Stargeel.
- 57:28Speaker 5: It's weird.
- 57:28Speaker 1: If I wear a jersey from Jackson.
- 57:31Speaker 4: Dark, that's weird. Yeah, he's a kid in my forties.
- 57:34Speaker 1: So you need to have a jersey on somebody older
- 57:37Speaker 1: than you, not the same age.
- 57:40Speaker 5: So these dudes.
- 57:40Speaker 1: The weird thing about these dudes is they're wearing like
- 57:43Speaker 1: Randy Johnson jerseys as he's signing stuff, and they're adults
- 57:46Speaker 1: the same age a Randy Johnson. And also they're with
- 57:48Speaker 1: them like it give we signed. It's just I like
- 57:50Speaker 1: Alex's passion. But to me, I probably would not wear
- 57:52Speaker 1: that to go to a Randy Johnson signing, you know.
- 57:56Speaker 4: Would you just carry it were getting him to sign it,
- 58:01Speaker 4: wearing it right stuff because Randy Johnson was there, gotcha.
- 58:04Speaker 5: One guy did have a Griffy jersey.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Younger that uh, you know what debate, but they were
- 58:10Speaker 1: about the same age, so Griffy now he's a kid,
- 58:12Speaker 1: so I still seems yelling. Yeah, yeah, but he was
- 58:15Speaker 1: an older man. I just think if you wear a jersey,
- 58:17Speaker 1: it needs to be somebody older.
- 58:19Speaker 4: Than you wear it where, Like, can I wear it
- 58:21Speaker 4: at my house? Sure, you can wear whatever you want.
- 58:24Speaker 4: I know this is America, But according to that logic, So,
- 58:29Speaker 4: like the Cowboys are playing my Ceddie Lamb jersey, I
- 58:31Speaker 4: can wear that home.
- 58:31Speaker 5: Like wearing that at home, you can wear at home.
- 58:32Speaker 1: I wouldn't wear a Ceedee Lamb jersey to a Dallas
- 58:34Speaker 1: Cowboys game.
- 58:36Speaker 9: Well, you think wearing it at home is better than
- 58:37Speaker 9: wearing it to a game.
- 58:38Speaker 1: I think we're at home. Nobody sees you can wear panties. Dude,
- 58:40Speaker 1: do wear thong your wife's throng at home? I don't
- 58:42Speaker 1: see it.
- 58:42Speaker 5: I don't care.
- 58:43Speaker 4: I'm not wearing a jersey to a game.
- 58:45Speaker 1: You can, but I would make sure if you're wearing
- 58:47Speaker 1: a jersey to a game, it's a Roger Stobeg jersey
- 58:49Speaker 1: for it.
- 58:49Speaker 4: If you're a Dallas I'm at Smith all those guys.
- 58:53Speaker 5: That works.
- 58:54Speaker 1: So they were getting these autographs from Randy Johnson and
- 58:58Speaker 1: he was signing in. One of the guys is like, hey,
- 59:00Speaker 1: why don't you sign jerseys because Randy Johnson doesn't sign jerseys. Well,
- 59:03Speaker 1: and I thought this answer was awesome. Here's the clip.
- 59:05Speaker 7: It's the one thing that I don't sign because it's
- 59:08Speaker 7: the one thing that can raise money for charities, my
- 59:12Speaker 7: charity to other people's charity, because there's not a lot
- 59:15Speaker 7: of them floating out there.
- 59:16Speaker 5: I was doing this way back and there's a long
- 59:18Speaker 5: time ago.
- 59:19Speaker 8: Yeah, that's why you can't.
- 59:22Speaker 7: Figure out why. Yeah, smart, because it's the one thing.
- 59:26Speaker 7: I mean, everything else there's time, but the one thing
- 59:29Speaker 7: that might raise a little bit more money.
- 59:30Speaker 1: For a charity keeps the value up of signed jerseys
- 59:33Speaker 1: yause he doesn't do a lot of them.
- 59:34Speaker 5: It's really cool.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought that was super cool.
- 59:36Speaker 4: I do the son. Excuse me, just I don't sign
- 59:39Speaker 4: things unless it's for my charity or any kind of
- 59:42Speaker 4: charity work that I do that.
- 59:43Speaker 1: First of all, that's a lie because listen to the
- 59:45Speaker 1: pictures up and you'll sign them. We'll all do it,
- 59:48Speaker 1: and there's like three lies there.
- 59:50Speaker 4: But you care all lies. Yeah, but it sounds so
- 59:52Speaker 4: cool to say that though.
- 59:54Speaker 1: Let's look at the quick preview football games.
- 59:57Speaker 5: College football games. First, U C.
- 59:59Speaker 1: L A at Indie and A minus twenty five and
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: a half. Hey, Brandon, if you were to have picked
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: one for the Triangle of Death? What would you have picked?
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: So I got the New York Rangers over I'm just
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: kidding over Ottawa. He's like, you know what I looking at.
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: I'm really in the NHL. Now, what would you have picked? See?
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: Do you have it set up? Did you have it picked?
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: I haven't picked college yet. Brandan has a car too.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: It is like his cars outside, and it's in the
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: garage and it's loaded with like one hundred thousand dollars
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: of audio equipment.
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: And he's like, what do I do? Do I park
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: in the garage? Do I just not?
- 1:00:33Speaker 8: Calm? Do I?
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: I'm like, dah, just park in the garage? So like
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: his butts pucker at all show long thing. He's gonna
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: walk out there. I'm like, all of our stuff's gonna
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: be gone.
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: I'm gonna pick Vandy over Missouri negative two and a half.
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: So let's let's sad.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: It's a learning lesson, okay, learning lesson Brandon here because
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Brandon doesn't claim to be like the who do you
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: think is more sports Brandon.
- 1:00:56Speaker 9: And Reid Brandon?
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: Brandon?
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: WHOA, yeah, I can't that's even a question.
- 1:01:01Speaker 9: Definitely more NFL for sure in college.
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: Right, Yeah, I mean anything reads like what sport do
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: we playing?
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: Again?
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: I think that's unfair to read he and I will
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: defend him because Reid was very proficient at golf and
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: a good golfer. And when we shoot golf stuff, Brandon's like, so,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: which of those teas do you hit with your club?
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: Like he's graded golf, and I would say, like when
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: Brandon says Vanderbilt negative negative.
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: I heard, it's just galing lingo.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: This is a teaching moment. That's why I wondered, because
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: Reid can now bet with the best of them. Let
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: me tell about Reid. D got into it. He did.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Reid got himself out of it because he felt like
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: he was gonna he was winning too much and that
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: was gonna flip. So how would you say it now?
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: Vanderbilt over Missouri minus two and a half? Close?
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: And this is also good because we all had to
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: learn how to say. I would say, oh, oh, Vanderbilt
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: minus two and a half over Missouri.
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: Yeah, like that because the money line would be over Missouri.
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: Vanderbilt over Missouri.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Yeah, Vanderbilt money line, money line.
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: I can see how it's very intimidating, like everything.
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: Sure, it's almost like the freaking crash table.
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: Yes, like my kids on Sundays, I get my kids
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: to like passing the phone while I'm driving a church
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: and like, you guys pick.
- 1:02:25Speaker 5: On the way to church. He's like, hey, what lines
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: do you guys?
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: And they passed it around the backseat and they get
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: to they're like, Dad, do we do money line? Or
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: do we do the spread? And then we're like, let's
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: try spread and they're like, well what does this mean?
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: So it's very complicated and.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: You guys are read Second Corinthians right before we got me. Yeah,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: that's good.
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: So so so your pick though, is Vanderbilt minus two
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: and a half?
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: Yes? And really, I I I need to practice the
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: lingo with you guys, because I just talked to myself
- 1:02:55Speaker 5: when I bet, so I don't you know.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: You're not wrong, right, But I think a lot of
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: our listeners too. They didn't know to parlay was neither
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: did we until someone told us. So all this stuff
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: is new until someone teaches you.
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: You know, I still don't know what a round robin is, Like,
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: I see that as an option, so I can tell
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: you tell me.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: So let's say you parlor. Let's see have a three
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: game parlay. Okay, and I'll just make up three bets here.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: Here's three games happening this weekend, u CLA at Indiana,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: Syracuse at Georgia Tech, Ole, miss at Oklahoma. Let's say
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: you bet a parlay and you bet all the home teams.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: So you do the parlay it's Indiana, Georgia, Tech, and Oklahoma,
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: and so you get better odds because you're doing all
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: three and if any one of the three loses, you
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: lose that parlay. The round robin is also you're betting
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: on all the games individually as well.
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: Oh so to place in the bet, it's gonna be
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: way more expensive because it's going.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: To cost more, got it, So you're gonna bet the
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: part Let's say about five bucks in the parlay, because
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: let's say the odds are plus three and ok nothing,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: we do sometimes plus and minus yeah, but let's say
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: it's like plus three thirty.
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: So that's for the parlay.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: But if you're going to round robin it they're all
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: three individual bets. So if you're gonna put five bucks
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: there and then five bucks in the parlay, it's gonna
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: be twenty bucks total. It five bucks for the parlay
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: and then each of those individuals are five bucks each.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: Kind of like that. I might try that this weekend
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: on the way to church. No, on Saturdays. Home home
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: from church, that's stressful, dude. Home from church is stressful
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: because it's because the games are about to start. Usually
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: get out about eleven, and I'm like, oh my gosh,
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: oh my gosh, you driving. I make my wife drive
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: while I make all the bets.
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: Nothing like a good Sunday. Worse than the Lord.
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: Sometimes I feel like the Lord gives me picks. Really yeah,
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: like yeah.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Vikings at Chargers tonight, quick games, Browns of Patriots. We're
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: really pulling for those Patriots.
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: And our Monday League.
- 1:04:36Speaker 9: Hey we're in the positive.
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: We are four hundred bucks. Thank god, four hundred bucks.
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: It just looks better on Yeah, we were down a
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: thous yeah, eleven hundred. Yeah, I think who was down
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: the most in our he's down twenty six hundred.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, oh my god.
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: I mean the one that got him with the Ravens,
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: he got the It was that guy and the Colt.
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: He got the Ravens to win and the Colts to lose.
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: So read his team, so and what they do all right,
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: so he has Ravens to win. So every time the
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: Ravens win, he wins money. If they lose, no money,
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: but he's got to pay out everybody else. Okay, go ahead,
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: and the Ravens have won one.
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: Yeah, so big bad one.
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: The Jets to lose, he's won six.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: That's it's his only money maker.
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: And he also has the Broncos to win. They've won five.
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: Yeah, that's good.
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: One pretty good. That's where it gets bad. Colts to lose,
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: oh man, they've lost one one. Yeah.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: They're the best team in the NFL right now.
- 1:05:32Speaker 9: Yeah, and they have seed it in them one seed,
- 1:05:34Speaker 9: so yeah, probably overall.
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: And then for some reason, he thought the Cardinals were
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: gonna win a lot of games. They've won two. And
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: then the Bears to win. They've won four in a row.
- 1:05:45Speaker 9: That's saved him a little bit.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: But he's minus he's minus twenty six hundred.
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: Brutal, dude. It's crazy how this shifts like just one
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: week at a time. It's you know, like I can't
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: believe that we're above water.
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: Yep.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: And so we have, okay, just to roll through the games,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: Browns and Patriots. We're pulling for the Patriots, dolphinsive Falcons,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Jets at Bengals were big Bengals guys, because we have
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: the time.
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: Angles and we like that one.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: Giants and Eagles little division. You probably want the Giants
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: to win that game, though, huh over the Eagles just division. Absolutely,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: so it gives Cowboys chance if they want to pull up.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: Bills at Panthers, Bears at Ravens. Ravens big favorite because
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Lamar's back. They took out all the video games though
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: in the locker room, did they did they have video games?
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: Took it all the bat the basketball to distract.
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: You gotta be serious everything.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Forty nine Ers at Texans, Bucks at Saints, Cowboys at Broncos,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Titans at colts Man.
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: The Bucks are like, it's just bad over there.
- 1:06:51Speaker 9: Injury now.
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: Now Evans is out for the season.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: It was in for like a play, yeah right. Good
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: thing is though they've they've won without them. Yeah, and
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: they didn't know that Abuka was going to be as
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: good as he is, So boy.
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: T is time for tz to shine.
- 1:07:07Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Do that hurdle and everybody hurdles all the time. That
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: hurdle is it just makes it look so easy.
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: He's just so small.
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: Oh, you guys can't do that.
- 1:07:15Speaker 9: Uh no, no you can.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: The Commander's Chiefs think about this though, So our league,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: I almost don't want to do this, but I'm just
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: going to do it for the sake.
- 1:07:23Speaker 5: This is content. This is not in real life.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: In our league, we have the Patriots, the Bucks, the Chiefs,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: and the Bengals. Yep, one, two, three. We have four favorites. Guys.
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: Yeah, how does that make you feel?
- 1:07:42Speaker 8: You know what?
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: Great?
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: I'd rather than that day other way.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Yeah, if we can win another, if we can have
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: another yeah, or nice, we take our family on vacation.
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: Yeah, welled a well deserved vacation.
- 1:07:56Speaker 5: Let's go.
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: But but I'm gonna hey, we're probably not though, guys.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Nope, there's no positivity in the chat till after the game.
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: Probably not. I learned that.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, that's what's up.
- 1:08:07Speaker 5: The Oklahoma all missed games? Pretty cool?
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I think we're getting one of those teams gets
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: kind of gets eliminated from the are you a top
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: tier team? What's interesting about Oklahoma is they have a
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: lot of hard games. They lost the game to Texas,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: it's their only loss, and you know they're ranked thirteen.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: They have a lot of hard games coming up. If
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: they lose this one, it could end up five hundred
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Oklahoma squad. If they win this game, I think it
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: leads them to actually want a couple more games that
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: have a good season. Oh dang, yeah, read their schedule.
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: They get Tennessee after this, Alabama in Alabama, and then
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: they have Missouri and then lsu.
- 1:08:43Speaker 9: Geez, it's stef.
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: All right, we're done. You guess have anything I don't.
- 1:08:51Speaker 5: You're whispering about ever that they have a surprise for
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: me or or cake or something. I was just going
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: to talk about Chauncey Billups. Oh yeah, the gambling stuff.
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: What do you want to say?
- 1:08:58Speaker 7: Wild?
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: So?
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: I mean, he's I just want to know if you
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: guys heard about it.
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: What do you got?
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: Johnston Billup? Chohnston Billups is down negative.
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: Picked the Ravens to win.
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: Man, yeah, man. The card the poker stuff's crazy.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: The X ray machines under the table, the glasses and
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: contact lenses. They could see the cards unmarked, but they
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: had like special be awesome illegal.
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: Oh yeah, how much fun would that be to go
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: into casino like that?
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: I don't know much fun it would be to be
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: my age to play against five year old.
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: In football, just dominate.
- 1:09:32Speaker 5: Yeah, that's like if we think about where we're going. Yeah,
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: that's how much fun.
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: Would I'd be?
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Like, man, if I could just take a bunch of
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: six year old just like but but everybody thought I
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: was also six.
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: Do you ever see those videos of like the parents
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: the kids going against the parents in Oklahoma.
- 1:09:47Speaker 9: And the parents kill one of the mascots, like.
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: The mom's mom. Man, all right, you guys have a
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: great rest of the day.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: Thank you for listening, and Eddie blow the whistle. We
