- 0:04Speaker 1: Drama, darling. Drama, darling. Drama, darling.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hey, everybody. Welcome back, darlings. It's Drama Darling with me,
- 0:24Speaker 2: Amy Phillips. Today, Emily Duresis is here to recap the tragedy.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I'm so excited. I love the traders. I love where
- 0:37Speaker 2: we are. I love these, as they call them, pedestrians.
- 0:42Speaker 2: The yous and I's of television have entered the castle.
- 0:48Speaker 2: And I'm just delighted. Now, we do have to talk
- 0:51Speaker 2: about a couple of things before we get into traders.
- 0:54Speaker 2: And that is, first of all, I'm hot off the
- 0:57Speaker 2: heels of one of the best weekends of my life, Emily,
- 1:00Speaker 2: in Detroit, Michigan. I had the opportunity to be a
- 1:06Speaker 2: part of this unbelievable charity year one that was to
- 1:12Speaker 2: raise money for the Children's Fund of Michigan, which supports
- 1:17Speaker 2: the arts, and all in Detroit. And my God, it
- 1:23Speaker 2: was the greatest experience of my life. So you guys
- 1:27Speaker 2: know that I flew over to Detroit on Friday. The...
- 1:33Speaker 2: There were events all throughout the weekend and the show
- 1:35Speaker 2: was Saturday night. Well, let me start by saying that
- 1:39Speaker 2: we raised $ 2. 7 million. Hi, welcome in.
- 1:49Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Can you believe that? I couldn't even believe it. I
- 1:53Speaker 2: was like, wow. I mean, if they had raised like,
- 1:57Speaker 2: you know, a million, I would have been, I mean,
- 1:58Speaker 2: even just a million. So anyway, I'm just so grateful.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:02Speaker 2: To all the darlings that came out to support because
- 2:04Speaker 2: I know you were there. Lots of people showed up.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I certainly didn't get a chance to talk to everybody.
- 2:10Speaker 2: You know, I was running around in a wig afterwards.
- 2:12Speaker 2: I did the best I could. But thank you for supporting.
- 2:15Speaker 2: And if you donated and didn't attend, thank you a
- 2:18Speaker 2: million times over because like, you know, Detroit has never
- 2:22Speaker 2: done anything like this before. Nothing of this kind where
- 2:25Speaker 2: it's the the Coney is what it's called. And this
- 2:30Speaker 2: is based off of the format of something that they
- 2:33Speaker 2: do in Kansas City called the Big Slick.
- 2:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:37Speaker 4: I had wondered if it was like something combined with that,
- 2:40Speaker 4: the way it was set up.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Not combined, just Mark Evan Jackson, who is a Second
- 2:44Speaker 2: City Detroit alumni, he made this all happen. It's unbelievable.
- 2:50Speaker 2: He met with Children's Fund of Michigan, and the person
- 2:56Speaker 2: who heads it up, Andrew, shout out, was like, okay,
- 2:59Speaker 2: this sounds interesting. So you want to do what now?
- 3:01Speaker 2: And he's like, a sketch variety show that's kind of
- 3:04Speaker 2: like a, you know, like a Second City Review almost,
- 3:08Speaker 2: but meets, you know, a charity fundraiser. So there was
- 3:11Speaker 2: like a live auction. There was a raffle. There was
- 3:13Speaker 2: also a silent auction. We did sketches. There were songs.
- 3:17Speaker 2: There was a house band. There were amazing, you know,
- 3:21Speaker 2: celebrities there that are all from Michigan for the most part.
- 3:24Speaker 2: If there were a couple there that maybe.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Were, you know, their spouse was from Michigan, like Tony Hawk.
- 3:32Speaker 2: He was there. He's not from Michigan, but his wife is.
- 3:36Speaker 2: So he visits there all the time. Nice guy. Nice guy.
- 3:41Speaker 2: I had one of my big scenes with Andy Richter.
- 3:44Speaker 2: It was so fun meeting him. John Glazer was there.
- 3:47Speaker 2: We did a lot of bits together. It was so phenomenal, Emily.
- 3:52Speaker 2: It was such an incredible experience. And so I played...
- 3:56Speaker 2: There's a woman whose name is Jomana K.
- 3:58Speaker 5: Roos.
- 3:59Speaker 2: She owns the law firm of Jomana K.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Roos.
- 4:02Speaker 2: It's personal injury law that she does. And she's like
- 4:05Speaker 2: known for her billboards all around Detroit. So she's like
- 4:09Speaker 2: she looks like a real housewife.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Right.
- 4:11Speaker 2: And she's on all these billboards with like her arms crossed.
- 4:15Speaker 2: And she's just like this blonde bombshell with these red lips.
- 4:18Speaker 2: And she's like, I'm always watching. She's from Beirut, Lebanon.
- 4:22Speaker 2: She moved here, moved to Detroit when she was like 22.
- 4:25Speaker 2: basically made the American dream happen. I had to do
- 4:28Speaker 2: a lot of research, you know, studying her voice and
- 4:32Speaker 2: everything like that. And after, and I've known who she
- 4:35Speaker 2: is since like 2005, because that's when the billboard started.
- 4:38Speaker 2: All of a sudden they just started popping up and
- 4:40Speaker 2: everybody knows who she is. So after I researched and
- 4:44Speaker 2: I was like, this woman is absolutely incredible. I mean,
- 4:47Speaker 2: she's amazing. And so I played her and it was
- 4:52Speaker 2: so fun. And I got to go down into the
- 4:53Speaker 2: audience and like, improvise with the audience and the VIP
- 4:56Speaker 2: section and talk to people about like personal injury and like, Oh,
- 5:01Speaker 2: your shoes look like they're hurting you. You don't call me.
- 5:04Speaker 2: So it was really, really fun. And the reveal of
- 5:07Speaker 2: when I came out was fun because once Andy Richter said, Oh,
- 5:12Speaker 2: Jamana Caruso from the law offices of Jamana Caruso, then
- 5:15Speaker 2: people were like, Oh, you know, cause they, it's just
- 5:18Speaker 2: so recognizable from the billboards. But, um, It was just
- 5:22Speaker 2: such a blast. Now, she was not there at the
- 5:26Speaker 2: charity event, but word got to me last night that
- 5:29Speaker 2: she did post, she reposted a picture of me and
- 5:33Speaker 2: something else, I guess. I haven't looked at, but where
- 5:36Speaker 2: she was like, I was not, I was unable to
- 5:38Speaker 2: make it to the Coney, but it looks like I
- 5:41Speaker 2: did make it into the standup.
- 5:44Speaker 5: It's like a picture of me.
- 5:46Speaker 2: So we were wondering like, is she going to sue
- 5:48Speaker 2: us or is she going to be laughing at it?
- 5:49Speaker 2: You know, but so it looks like she's a great sport,
- 5:52Speaker 2: which I had a feeling she would be because she
- 5:53Speaker 2: does a lot for charities. So, you know, I think
- 5:57Speaker 2: they're going to do this every year. And, and I
- 6:00Speaker 2: was like, well, I hope I come back. And they're like, yeah,
- 6:03Speaker 2: we got to bring, they're like, let's bring you back
- 6:05Speaker 2: and Jumana and see if Jumana can come back and
- 6:08Speaker 2: be like, you know, tap me on the shoulder, do
- 6:10Speaker 2: like a whole, you know, Hillary Clinton, Amy Poehler situation.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Yes.
- 6:14Speaker 5: Yes.
- 6:15Speaker 2: So it was so tremendous to be a part of
- 6:19Speaker 2: because so much of the show was a celebration of Detroit.
- 6:22Speaker 2: I mean, all Detroit jokes. We were in the Detroit
- 6:25Speaker 2: Opera House, which is a gorgeous venue there, which I've
- 6:28Speaker 2: been to many, many times. And I just want to
- 6:32Speaker 2: say briefly, and I think later on this week when
- 6:35Speaker 2: Jamie's on, when we recap Salt Lake City, she was there.
- 6:39Speaker 2: And so she and I, we stayed in the same
- 6:41Speaker 2: room together. We paled around to all the events. And-
- 6:45Speaker 2: I was like walking down the streets of Detroit. When
- 6:50Speaker 2: I used to, I went to Wayne State. I worked,
- 6:53Speaker 2: you know, in a high rise on Woodward Boulevard. I
- 6:56Speaker 2: worked in an old factory for a video production company.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I worked in advertising. When you went downtown during the
- 7:02Speaker 2: day and you left after you're done with work because
- 7:05Speaker 2: there was nothing down there. And now it is like
- 7:10Speaker 2: a burgeoning city. It is a happening city. you know,
- 7:15Speaker 2: hotspot for bars and restaurants and people are like walking.
- 7:18Speaker 2: I mean, it is teeming with people. And I got
- 7:21Speaker 2: to say, like a lot of really, you know, hipsters
- 7:24Speaker 2: and just like cool people walking around the city. My
- 7:26Speaker 2: jaw was dragging on Woodward because I couldn't believe what
- 7:30Speaker 2: I was seeing. And it was very emotional to see,
- 7:33Speaker 2: you know. And then also I got to go to
- 7:38Speaker 2: a Tigers game in a suite. It was Justin Verlander's
- 7:43Speaker 2: last game before he retired. He's the pitcher. Waterworks everywhere.
- 7:49Speaker 2: He's up on the mound. They're, you know, sweeping music.
- 7:52Speaker 2: His daughter, his little daughter came out to get him
- 7:54Speaker 2: because usually like the manager comes out to get him
- 7:56Speaker 2: on the mound and brings him back for their retirement.
- 8:00Speaker 2: The daughter came out. People were crying. Jumbotron, cheers all
- 8:05Speaker 2: over the Jumbotrons. And then the next day on Sunday,
- 8:10Speaker 2: I went to the Detroit Lions game. Got to be
- 8:14Speaker 2: in a suite. By the way, both teams won their games,
- 8:18Speaker 2: which was incredible.
- 8:18Speaker 5: Did the daughter come out for the Lions game? Yes.
- 8:21Speaker 5: Locked the team back in.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Turns out she's hired. She's just a precious Detroit child
- 8:28Speaker 2: that gets people crying everywhere. We stayed in Eminem's suite because,
- 8:34Speaker 2: you know, he wasn't there that day, I guess. They
- 8:36Speaker 2: let us have it. Walked into the suite, jerseys with
- 8:41Speaker 2: our names on the back of them.
- 8:43Speaker 5: Wow.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Like, I can't even tell you how spoiled we were.
- 8:49Speaker 2: They flew me first class. I arrived at the Shinola Hotel,
- 8:54Speaker 2: which is a watchmaker. I don't know if you are
- 8:57Speaker 2: familiar with Shinola Detroit Hotel. watches, but they're an exquisite,
- 9:01Speaker 2: a fine watch collection. And they've had a lot to
- 9:06Speaker 2: do with like, you know, their reputation and being downtown
- 9:09Speaker 2: in the city. So building up, you know, all around
- 9:11Speaker 2: them is just a wonderful thing. Well, they have a
- 9:13Speaker 2: hotel as well. They've got these swag bags. So I'm
- 9:16Speaker 2: looking at the swag bags. Eventually, I couldn't believe it.
- 9:19Speaker 2: I opened this box. It's a freaking Shinola watch, Emily.
- 9:24Speaker 5: Wow.
- 9:25Speaker 2: A Shinola watch.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Look at this.
- 9:29Speaker 5: Wow.
- 9:32Speaker 2: I mean, is this gorgeous or what?
- 9:34Speaker 5: Gorgeous Detroit.
- 9:37Speaker 2: So then, um, anyway, it just, where do I begin?
- 9:42Speaker 2: Where do I end?
- 9:42Speaker 5: You know what I mean?
- 9:44Speaker 2: The charity was a success. The fun was a success.
- 9:48Speaker 2: The swag was a success. And, um, I can talk
- 9:54Speaker 2: more about it, but I'm just so grateful. I'm on
- 9:56Speaker 2: cloud nine. My parents were there. Some of my friends
- 9:58Speaker 2: from Ellen. school and high school came to support me.
- 10:02Speaker 2: My best friend, Kelly Ford Owen from Chicago came out.
- 10:05Speaker 5: Yeah. Kelly. Kelly.
- 10:09Speaker 2: And when we were at Ford Field and in a suite,
- 10:13Speaker 2: I was so excited because my brother works for Rosetti
- 10:16Speaker 2: and Associates, architecture firm, downtown Detroit. They freaking designed. They
- 10:20Speaker 2: had everything to do with Ford Field Stadium in general.
- 10:24Speaker 2: And my brother designed the suites and the club level.
- 10:28Speaker 2: So I got to personally be in the suite and
- 10:30Speaker 2: see his workmanship.
- 10:33Speaker 5: Gorgeous Detroit.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Gorgeous Detroit indeed, my friends.
- 10:38Speaker 5: That's great. I know.
- 10:40Speaker 2: It was just it was such an incredible weekend. And
- 10:43Speaker 2: we just had a blast. Jamie and I were up
- 10:45Speaker 2: until 4 a.m. on Saturday night. Got a couple hours
- 10:49Speaker 2: of sleep, popped up, got into that Lions game, went
- 10:52Speaker 2: down through the tunnel and onto the field before the
- 10:57Speaker 2: game started. We didn't know that was going to happen.
- 10:59Speaker 2: We're like, what are we doing? What are we doing
- 11:01Speaker 2: down here?
- 11:01Speaker 5: You should have, like, had a white party down there.
- 11:03Speaker 5: Real quick. Real quick.
- 11:05Speaker 3: We're just going to do a quick white party.
- 11:07Speaker 5: Excuse me.
- 11:08Speaker 2: I have an announcement to make. Erica Jane, ladies and gentlemen. Detroit.
- 11:14Speaker 2: What's up, Detroit?
- 11:16Speaker 1: Detroit.
- 11:18Speaker 2: It's like a duet between Erika Jayne and Eminem. He comes.
- 11:24Speaker 5: In.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Beverly Hills Housewives. Beverly Hills Housewives. Ironically, they sound a
- 11:27Speaker 2: lot alike.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 11:30Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Lou.
- 11:34Speaker 2: So it was just, it was phenomenal. Mark Evan Jackson,
- 11:38Speaker 2: Sam Richardson, Eugene Cordero. They all got to do a quick, like,
- 11:45Speaker 2: hello on the Jumbotron on Ford Field. You know Eugene Cordero?
- 11:49Speaker 5: I do. I didn't know he was from Detroit, though.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Yes.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Detroit area.
- 11:54Speaker 5: I knew him from New York. Oh, you knew him
- 11:57Speaker 5: from New York.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 11:59Speaker 5: Okay. Yeah.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's cool.
- 12:02Speaker 5: I know.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I didn't know Jamie knew him. I knew him another
- 12:04Speaker 2: way because we did some sketch shows together. So anyway,
- 12:08Speaker 2: it was just such an interesting thing to get all
- 12:11Speaker 2: these people who do different things in entertainment or music
- 12:14Speaker 2: or whatever or skateboarding. Yeah. And then just be like,
- 12:19Speaker 2: have that in common. And we don't, like a lot
- 12:23Speaker 2: of us didn't know what other people did in entertainment.
- 12:26Speaker 2: You know, there was just really no time to look
- 12:27Speaker 2: anything up or, you know, celebrities don't care. Like they
- 12:30Speaker 2: don't care what people do. And so it was just
- 12:33Speaker 2: fun to have that in common. And when I say celebrities,
- 12:36Speaker 2: I mean them, I'm not talking about me. I was
- 12:38Speaker 2: looking them up, you know? So I just, it was
- 12:41Speaker 2: nice to just connect with people just based on A
- 12:45Speaker 2: great cause and Detroit and just being, it was such
- 12:49Speaker 2: an awesome bond. Tim Meadows was there. The list goes on.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Detroit, Tim Meadows, of course.
- 12:57Speaker 2: So anywho, here we are. Yesterday I tried, I was
- 13:03Speaker 2: trying my best to like, you know, get onto the recaps.
- 13:07Speaker 2: I was so tired I could barely keep my eyes
- 13:09Speaker 2: open because on the flight back, I wasn't tired. So
- 13:12Speaker 2: I watched the movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
- 13:14Speaker 2: and I didn't sleep.
- 13:18Speaker 5: So that is a commit.
- 13:20Speaker 4: I mean, I love that movie, but that is like
- 13:22Speaker 4: an early morning screening of.
- 13:25Speaker 5: No, it wasn't early.
- 13:26Speaker 2: It wasn't early morning. I left the Lions game and
- 13:28Speaker 2: my flight was at 615. OK, here we go. So, folks,
- 13:33Speaker 2: I had never seen that movie, Emily.
- 13:35Speaker 5: It's so good.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Is it good?
- 13:39Speaker 5: Yes. It's up. It's one of my favorites.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Is it really?
- 13:42Speaker 5: I understand. No, I didn't know.
- 13:45Speaker 2: I didn't know. Yeah. And it's been on my list.
- 13:48Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, I got to get to that. There's
- 13:50Speaker 2: so many that I have to get to. And then
- 13:51Speaker 2: when you get on the Delta flight, I was going
- 13:53Speaker 2: to try to watch Traders or Ultimate Girls Trip and
- 13:56Speaker 2: it wasn't available. And, you know, thankfully it wasn't because
- 13:59Speaker 2: I need to I need to live a little and
- 14:01Speaker 2: watch some films from 10 years ago.
- 14:03Speaker 5: You know. I hear you. I heard what you said.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Leo and Brad on the silver screen.
- 14:12Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Wow.
- 14:13Speaker 5: All the time. All the time.
- 14:15Speaker 4: When I screw up and I'm, like, frustrated, I'm always like, da-da-da-da-da-da.
- 14:21Speaker 4: When Leonardo DiCaprio gets mad at himself for forgetting his line.
- 14:25Speaker 5: Oh, when he's in the trailer.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Oh, I see.
- 14:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:27Speaker 2: That was so good. Oh, that was so good. It
- 14:32Speaker 2: was so good. One of the greatest movies. I want
- 14:35Speaker 2: to watch it again this weekend.
- 14:37Speaker 5: It's highly rewatchable. Yeah.
- 14:40Speaker 2: So that was great. I had to like kind of
- 14:44Speaker 2: fast forward the violence towards the end, I guess, because
- 14:48Speaker 2: I didn't know who was around me.
- 14:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:50Speaker 2: And I forgot that I'm in public.
- 14:52Speaker 5: I know. I know. I get it.
- 14:54Speaker 2: I didn't want to because I was like, yeah. Yeah.
- 14:58Speaker 2: But I was like, oh. Well, there were no children
- 15:01Speaker 2: around me. So that was a perk.
- 15:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Because you know how I feel about kids in first class.
- 15:10Speaker 5: I've heard... We've all heard.
- 15:12Speaker 4: We've all seen the videos, the very viral videos of
- 15:15Speaker 4: you losing your mind.
- 15:16Speaker 5: On children in first class.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:20Speaker 2: But Delta allowed me back on. And that is a joke.
- 15:24Speaker 2: But that's the first time I've ever flown first class.
- 15:26Speaker 2: And boy, was it great.
- 15:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Okay.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Well, I had to speak on that. And I'm just
- 15:32Speaker 2: so grateful to have been a part of it. And
- 15:33Speaker 2: it all happened because of Mark Evan Jackson, who you
- 15:37Speaker 2: know from millions of things, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Good Place,
- 15:42Speaker 2: tons of stuff. When we walked into the airport, one
- 15:44Speaker 2: last thing. When we walked into the airport on our
- 15:46Speaker 2: way back, And it was me and Mark and a
- 15:49Speaker 2: couple other people. So we walk in the airport and
- 15:51Speaker 2: I was like, I'll see you guys later. I got
- 15:52Speaker 2: to repack my bag because leaving the Lions game, I
- 15:55Speaker 2: left with like all this swags, like all these sweatshirts
- 15:58Speaker 2: and hats in this bag. And I'm like, I got
- 15:59Speaker 2: to throw this.
- 16:00Speaker 5: In my bag.
- 16:01Speaker 2: So I'm like on the ground putting this stuff in there.
- 16:04Speaker 2: And there's like a group of people next to me.
- 16:06Speaker 2: And the entire conversation that they had was talking about
- 16:09Speaker 2: Mark Evan Jackson. And this one gal was like, yeah,
- 16:14Speaker 2: you know him. And she had to tell them everything
- 16:16Speaker 2: he was in. And then like the entire time I
- 16:20Speaker 2: just heard her be like, they're just looking at his
- 16:22Speaker 2: IMDb like, oh, he was in this.
- 16:24Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, he was in this. Oh, yeah.
- 16:26Speaker 2: It was just so funny. And I'm just like on
- 16:28Speaker 2: the ground in spilled soda. And I'm like, I was there, too.
- 16:32Speaker 5: I'm I'm here. Do you know who I am?
- 16:36Speaker 2: Watch what happens live. Graciously, I asked them to donate
- 16:40Speaker 2: tickets to the live audience, two tickets.
- 16:43Speaker 5: Oh, nice.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Which ended up being it's kind of a long story.
- 16:48Speaker 2: But at the end of the day, $ 16, 000 was raised.
- 16:53Speaker 5: Wow.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Two sets of tickets.
- 16:57Speaker 5: Nice.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Isn't that unbelievable?
- 17:00Speaker 3: That is.
- 17:01Speaker 5: With airfare or no?
- 17:02Speaker 3: $ 8, 000 a piece.
- 17:03Speaker 5: No.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Just the tickets.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Wow.
- 17:05Speaker 5: Very cool. I know.
- 17:08Speaker 2: So thank you. Watch What Happens Live, Deirdre, Andy Cohen,
- 17:12Speaker 2: all the people who helped make that happen, who I'm
- 17:15Speaker 2: sure are not listening. But thank you, Deirdre. Easy match. Well,
- 17:21Speaker 2: then last night, boy, was it just a delight to
- 17:25Speaker 2: just watch two episodes of Traitors. And I'm so bummed
- 17:29Speaker 2: that now we have to wait until October 8th on
- 17:32Speaker 2: Peacock to watch the next episode.
- 17:34Speaker 5: Yeah, because of major league playoffs. Yeah. Stupid baseball.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Except for the Tigers.
- 17:43Speaker 5: The Tigers. Oh, give it a rest. Here comes a
- 17:46Speaker 5: little girl to walk you off your fucking tigers. Here
- 17:49Speaker 5: we go.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I'm just going to like double down on all my
- 17:55Speaker 2: sports teams now.
- 17:56Speaker 5: Get ready.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Yeah, because Traders is now on NBC. We've never had
- 18:04Speaker 4: to wait for sports for any of our Peacock or
- 18:09Speaker 4: Bravo programming.
- 18:10Speaker 5: And now that it's on NBC proper, we have to.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Now we have to work around it. I am glad
- 18:16Speaker 2: that they're giving us two episodes, though. They're making up
- 18:19Speaker 2: for it. And I think that's smart.
- 18:20Speaker 5: They usually do.
- 18:21Speaker 2: No, they don't, Emily. I'm just kidding.
- 18:23Speaker 3: Do they?
- 18:24Speaker 5: I don't remember.
- 18:26Speaker 3: They always give us two at the top.
- 18:28Speaker 5: And then sometimes they give us two in the middle.
- 18:31Speaker 4: They give us the first four pretty fast. And then
- 18:35Speaker 4: we have to wait per week. But I think that
- 18:40Speaker 4: because we don't know these people.
- 18:43Speaker 2: We don't know her.
- 18:44Speaker 5: We don't know her. We don't know that. But it
- 18:47Speaker 5: is good. Because we have to get to know them.
- 18:50Speaker 5: They're not celebrities.
- 18:51Speaker 4: We don't have a frame of reference for them to
- 18:53Speaker 4: immediately push us forward.
- 18:55Speaker 5: I'm glad. I'm loving this season.
- 18:57Speaker 4: I'm just saying, like, it's hard to remember who everybody
- 19:02Speaker 4: is with a break.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Do you remember?
- 19:05Speaker 3: I'm trying.
- 19:09Speaker 5: Do you remember?
- 19:11Speaker 2: I remember Kylo Ren. This is so cool, you guys.
- 19:16Speaker 2: So after the first two episodes of Traitors, over on
- 19:19Speaker 2: the Patreon.com slash drama darling, Stacey Gillespie popped up under
- 19:26Speaker 2: the recap in the comments and said, my son Wyatt
- 19:30Speaker 2: is on the cast. Keep watching. Rooting for him. Love
- 19:34Speaker 2: your podcasts so much. I was like, come again now?
- 19:41Speaker 2: So I took a screenshot of her comment, posted it
- 19:44Speaker 2: on the page.
- 19:44Speaker 3: I was like, alert, alert, darlings.
- 19:48Speaker 5: So Stacy. Wow.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Your son is amazing. He is clocking stuff. We got
- 19:55Speaker 2: that towards the end of this fourth episode. Loving what
- 19:58Speaker 2: he's bringing. And if you aren't familiar, look at the
- 20:01Speaker 2: cast list. But he is the younger gentleman with light hair.
- 20:05Speaker 2: And his name is Wyatt. So he is going to
- 20:09Speaker 2: be our... He's we're, we're, we're going to root for him.
- 20:11Speaker 2: He goes right to the top, right to the top.
- 20:14Speaker 5: We didn't say last week who are, who we thought
- 20:17Speaker 5: would win.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 20:19Speaker 5: You're right.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:21Speaker 2: So you know what? And I think that that's okay
- 20:24Speaker 2: because as you were mentioning, we have to get to
- 20:26Speaker 2: know these people and like with celebrity versions, I feel
- 20:29Speaker 2: like we already know them. So we have a little
- 20:31Speaker 2: bit of a leg up to say, you know, Dorinda
- 20:35Speaker 2: will not, we'll be leave after two episodes.
- 20:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:40Speaker 2: But we could do that. Do you want to do
- 20:43Speaker 2: it now or at the end of the episode?
- 20:45Speaker 5: Let's do it at the end.
- 20:46Speaker 4: I will just say that Wyatt has not been in
- 20:51Speaker 4: a lot, which makes me think that we're going to
- 20:55Speaker 4: see him more.
- 20:56Speaker 5: Right.
- 20:57Speaker 2: And same with Shane.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:01Speaker 2: And yeah. So, okay. This is so great. I can't wait.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Let's talk about this. Let's get into it. The Traitors.
- 21:10Speaker 4: Oh, we have to one more shout out to Heather G,
- 21:13Speaker 4: darling Heather G, who pointed out that Morgan is like
- 21:18Speaker 4: a very Instagram famous comic in Chicago, but from Detroit.
- 21:25Speaker 5: Yes.
- 21:27Speaker 4: And Heather G's like, you got to follow Morgan. I
- 21:30Speaker 4: was like, I've seen this gal's videos a bunch. So
- 21:34Speaker 4: Morgan Cook on Instagram, she has like a million followers.
- 21:37Speaker 5: Super funny. is Morgan in The Traitors.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Wow.
- 21:42Speaker 2: That is so cool.
- 21:43Speaker 4: What happened?
- 21:45Speaker 2: This is just a delight. And I love that she's
- 21:48Speaker 2: from Michigan.
- 21:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:50Speaker 3: You know?
- 21:50Speaker 2: All right.
- 21:52Speaker 5: So, guys. Wow.
- 21:54Speaker 3: This is.
- 21:56Speaker 2: It's a great cast. It's a great, great cast. The
- 22:00Speaker 2: way that these traitors met these accomplices was just fabulous.
- 22:06Speaker 2: And we left off with not knowing if both Katie
- 22:10Speaker 2: and Xavier got their death warrants. Turns out, they did.
- 22:15Speaker 2: And boy, oh boy, when they got that flashback, I
- 22:17Speaker 2: loved seeing it. I love that Xavier was in the
- 22:21Speaker 2: room when Katie grabbed hers out of the book.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 22:25Speaker 2: That was awesome. And you know, when they were deciding...
- 22:30Speaker 2: who they should keep, I thought, this is a tough one.
- 22:34Speaker 2: I understood why they chose Katie. And at the time,
- 22:37Speaker 2: and I do feel like that was the right decision.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Because even if she does, like, they also have to
- 22:44Speaker 2: have somewhat of a sacrificial lamb, where even if there
- 22:47Speaker 2: is a little bit of heat on her, which they
- 22:49Speaker 2: kind of knew, they had to go with that because
- 22:53Speaker 2: it's like, Well, we're going to take the risk because
- 22:56Speaker 2: if she gets found out, it's still OK because they're
- 22:59Speaker 2: going to get rid of her and we'll still be OK.
- 23:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:04Speaker 4: Also, Xavier kind of helped them make the decision because
- 23:09Speaker 4: his argument is there's already heat on Katie. And if
- 23:12Speaker 4: I'm a traitor, I'm like, great. She's going to be
- 23:16Speaker 4: thrown under the bus immediately.
- 23:20Speaker 2: And I think that they were smart to think, wow,
- 23:22Speaker 2: he quickly went traitor on traitor. That's to be noted.
- 23:25Speaker 2: That's to be noted.
- 23:27Speaker 5: Right.
- 23:27Speaker 2: So, yeah, I mean, you got to respect the game
- 23:31Speaker 2: that he was willing to do that because he wanted
- 23:33Speaker 2: to be a traitor so bad. But I thought that
- 23:35Speaker 2: I don't know if that was the right choice, but
- 23:38Speaker 2: I got to respect it. You know, could have gone
- 23:39Speaker 2: either way.
- 23:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:42Speaker 2: And I love that Joe is still like, yeah, you know, she's.
- 23:44Speaker 5: Got this clique. She's got all these, you know, youth clique.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Tweeters and uh you know these uh tickers and stuff
- 23:52Speaker 2: and i love katie he was like i want to
- 23:54Speaker 2: live the experience so that i can take it with
- 23:56Speaker 2: me for the rest of my life i was like
- 23:58Speaker 2: this is that's deep and i love it i like
- 24:00Speaker 2: that she just got in there and the fact that
- 24:03Speaker 2: they're like mommy daddy and baby traders.
- 24:05Speaker 5: Oh i hate that i hate it i.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Do like if they could it would have said mama
- 24:11Speaker 2: bear daddy bear and baby bear traders i would have
- 24:14Speaker 2: liked that better but i do like tiny trader i
- 24:17Speaker 2: think that's funny Yeah, I did also.
- 24:20Speaker 4: Like Joe saying, Tameka and I, we got the posters
- 24:24Speaker 4: on the wall, our beds are set up, got our
- 24:27Speaker 4: music playing on the stereo.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:29Speaker 5: I know. who are we going to bring in here?
- 24:33Speaker 5: You know, it's our place.
- 24:35Speaker 3: It's our place.
- 24:35Speaker 5: It's our place.
- 24:37Speaker 4: Tamika calling out the young kids as the Love Island
- 24:40Speaker 4: crew is.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 24:42Speaker 5: That was great. Smart. Yeah.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Katie is, Katie is nailing it with the Love Island crew.
- 24:49Speaker 4: Also like, thank you Tamika for having Love Island producers
- 24:54Speaker 4: look at us now as possible Love Island Islanders.
- 24:58Speaker 5: Like I also was like, I like that you're like us.
- 25:00Speaker 4: Well, yeah, not me and Amy.
- 25:05Speaker 5: We already have been on the island. We've been in
- 25:08Speaker 5: cast on the show. Yeah, I've been there, done that.
- 25:13Speaker 5: But like now it's like kind of a nod to
- 25:16Speaker 5: them to be like, oh, we should look at some
- 25:18Speaker 5: of these guys for Love Island. Because like Erin was
- 25:21Speaker 5: Love Island from UK Traders. Oh, right. Oh, interesting.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Wow. Cross-pollination, you know. What are they, Bravo and Peacock?
- 25:30Speaker 5: What are they?
- 25:33Speaker 2: Katie, I like that Katie was like, I did not
- 25:35Speaker 2: vote for Madeline because I thought she was a traitor
- 25:37Speaker 2: and I didn't want to take out one of our own.
- 25:40Speaker 5: I think she was serious, too.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, absolutely. And I thought it was smart to
- 25:45Speaker 2: prove yourself in that way.
- 25:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:48Speaker 2: So let's go to breakfast. OK, so they go to breakfast.
- 25:53Speaker 2: People are talking. They think the murmurs are they think
- 25:56Speaker 2: Victor turned on Madeline. And is a traitor. And they're
- 26:03Speaker 2: kind of, you know, people are spouting off their theories.
- 26:07Speaker 5: Right.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Katie's coming in good. And the actual traitors are impressed
- 26:12Speaker 2: with her game play. And now Logan.
- 26:20Speaker 5: Wow.
- 26:22Speaker 2: They are going to. He's he's got to go. He's
- 26:26Speaker 2: too smart.
- 26:27Speaker 5: I know, I know.
- 26:28Speaker 2: He's too smart. And this is what's such a bummer
- 26:31Speaker 2: about these shows is that when you get the good
- 26:34Speaker 2: ones who are, they go early because.
- 26:38Speaker 5: They have to.
- 26:40Speaker 4: I will say that Logan was a bummer because I
- 26:44Speaker 4: initially was thrown by him, which made me think he
- 26:47Speaker 4: was obviously compelling. And even though he was just like
- 26:51Speaker 4: not very vocal, but when he did talk, it was
- 26:53Speaker 4: really interesting.
- 26:55Speaker 5: So I was bummed to see him go this time.
- 26:57Speaker 5: I know. So sad.
- 26:59Speaker 2: He had to.
- 26:59Speaker 5: He had to.
- 27:00Speaker 2: He had to. But wouldn't that have been so nice
- 27:02Speaker 2: to see a whole, you know, like a whole season
- 27:07Speaker 2: with him? I mean, his voice is so great. His
- 27:11Speaker 2: points are good. Yeah.
- 27:14Speaker 5: He was too much of a liability.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Big time.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:20Speaker 5: But I mean, like, also.
- 27:22Speaker 4: to clock it right away with the Xavier gone and
- 27:26Speaker 4: being like, I'll tell you who's, who had a problem.
- 27:29Speaker 5: I mean, he right away, right at breakfast. Oh yeah. Immediately.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Well, can we just talk about Victor for a second?
- 27:36Speaker 2: Cause he is just like, he's just full of like
- 27:40Speaker 2: this very funny energy to me. He is completely unregulated.
- 27:45Speaker 2: He's just like, Oh man, what? Come on.
- 27:47Speaker 3: I am not a traitor.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Like, The way that he's acting, I honestly would be like,
- 27:52Speaker 2: he's not a traitor. Look at how he's acting. He
- 27:55Speaker 2: genuinely is like, you guys, come on.
- 27:58Speaker 5: And I love it.
- 28:00Speaker 2: It's so entertaining. And when they got to that.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Well, it was kind of the last challenge, which I
- 28:07Speaker 2: know that I'm kind of skipping around. But when Abby
- 28:10Speaker 2: was like, Victor, you know, like, we all think you're
- 28:13Speaker 2: a traitor, so you've got to be left behind. He's like,
- 28:15Speaker 2: come on, guys, guys. He's like the little brother that
- 28:20Speaker 2: just keeps trying to hang with the cool, his cool
- 28:23Speaker 2: older brother. And they're like, no, Victor, we don't. He's like, guys,
- 28:26Speaker 2: I told you.
- 28:28Speaker 5: There is a case to be made, I have to say,
- 28:30Speaker 5: after these episodes between Jay and Victor. That, like, creating chaos.
- 28:37Speaker 4: Intentionally or not at least keeps you safe from murder
- 28:40Speaker 4: because the feeding frenzy is going to be at the roundtable,
- 28:46Speaker 4: but you'll sleep well at night because the traitors are
- 28:48Speaker 4: not going to take you out if there's heat on
- 28:50Speaker 4: you by other faithfuls during the day at the roundtable.
- 28:55Speaker 5: They're not going to kill you off.
- 28:57Speaker 2: I don't know. Wasn't there in one of the other
- 28:59Speaker 2: seasons somebody was creating so many problems?
- 29:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Yeah. But that's a little different. Emily, remember there's a
- 29:07Speaker 2: T at the end of it.
- 29:08Speaker 5: I refuse.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Okay. That's okay.
- 29:09Speaker 3: It's part of your accent.
- 29:11Speaker 2: We got to embrace it. But like, you know, it's
- 29:14Speaker 2: one of those things where it's like, no, I don't
- 29:16Speaker 2: think he's going to last. Everyone hates him. He's such
- 29:19Speaker 2: a gnat. Like, what are you doing?
- 29:22Speaker 5: But they hated him before this.
- 29:25Speaker 4: He was like the controversial pick for traitors anyway. And
- 29:29Speaker 4: I feel like people gave him the benefit of the
- 29:32Speaker 4: doubt as his persona outside of there.
- 29:34Speaker 5: And then once he was there and being awful, people are.
- 29:37Speaker 4: Like you're just a bad faithful whereas like jay nobody
- 29:41Speaker 4: really knows him or his wife and they are um
- 29:47Speaker 4: like kind of confused and i think it's gonna work
- 29:50Speaker 4: for him unless it just becomes a bad faithful he's
- 29:54Speaker 4: an awful faithful they've got to get rid of him
- 29:58Speaker 4: He's driving everybody crazy.
- 30:00Speaker 2: And the fact that he was just like, I'll drop
- 30:03Speaker 2: a name. I will drop a name. I was like,
- 30:05Speaker 2: I'm going to drop you in the woods and leave
- 30:07Speaker 2: you for dead like that. I would have probably lost
- 30:09Speaker 2: my mind with him. I would have absolutely been like,
- 30:12Speaker 2: shut the fuck up. And what was interesting is that
- 30:17Speaker 2: he so the name he dropped was Christy, not even Katie,
- 30:22Speaker 2: even though he was alluding to Katie at some point
- 30:25Speaker 2: throughout the woods. Oh, just like a traitor would say.
- 30:30Speaker 2: And I was like, no, that's somebody who actually is
- 30:32Speaker 2: annoyed with your behavior.
- 30:35Speaker 4: But then he laid it out pretty well for like
- 30:38Speaker 4: he said, I think it's Christy and I think it's Katie.
- 30:41Speaker 4: And then but then he's like he said to a
- 30:45Speaker 4: couple of people, watch how they act when I go hard.
- 30:49Speaker 4: And they were like, yeah, Katie really lost it. And
- 30:51Speaker 4: Michael pulled Katie aside and was like, I've never seen
- 30:54Speaker 4: you like that. I was like, you've known her for
- 30:55Speaker 4: two days.
- 30:57Speaker 5: Right.
- 31:00Speaker 4: And you could tell, like, as whacked out as Jay
- 31:04Speaker 4: was about it, he had convinced some people.
- 31:08Speaker 5: I mean, we don't know yet.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Right. But she is acting weird. I mean, she wasn't
- 31:13Speaker 2: the first day. When she was an accomplice, she wasn't
- 31:17Speaker 2: acting weird.
- 31:17Speaker 5: She was good.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Then it started to, the water started to rise on
- 31:22Speaker 2: her and she's like not in a good place. When
- 31:25Speaker 2: she was talking to Abby, she couldn't have licked her
- 31:30Speaker 2: lips or like blinked her eyes or looked left or shrugged.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Like she did every single thing that a body language
- 31:37Speaker 2: expert would consider someone hiding a secret would do. And
- 31:42Speaker 2: Abby's just like, yeah. I mean, she's just not looking
- 31:45Speaker 2: at anything. Abby is interesting. She's been completely way off.
- 31:54Speaker 2: And yet somehow she's getting closer. And I don't know
- 31:57Speaker 2: how that's working. It's like she's fully sniffing in the
- 32:00Speaker 2: wrong direction. But somehow she's taking the long route around.
- 32:04Speaker 2: But I think she's going to get there before other people.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:08Speaker 5: Yeah, I do, too. And I also I'm not like
- 32:12Speaker 5: I know we're kind of jumping around, but.
- 32:15Speaker 4: Arisa getting voted out based on the clue that Michael
- 32:20Speaker 4: and Ben got about the traitors. Basically, someone there was
- 32:25Speaker 4: basically some kind of challenge last night that had to happen.
- 32:30Speaker 4: And you have to start looking at the weird shit
- 32:33Speaker 4: that went down. And I would have also looked at
- 32:35Speaker 4: Jay doing that weird. I'm just a hugger. I'm coming
- 32:38Speaker 4: over here to hug you. Um, so there were a
- 32:42Speaker 4: couple of weird moves that we as viewers saw, but
- 32:44Speaker 4: the weirdest was holding the hands.
- 32:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 32:46Speaker 2: And more than one person saw that weird moment and
- 32:49Speaker 2: it stood out. It's hard to like get, you know,
- 32:52Speaker 2: eyes on everything that I would have absolutely thought that
- 32:55Speaker 2: that was an initiation or, you know, a hundred percent.
- 32:59Speaker 2: So I agree with their, their choice on that.
- 33:03Speaker 5: Yeah, I do too. That was bad. Cause I liked
- 33:07Speaker 5: Arisa though. But it was weird from the jump. And
- 33:10Speaker 5: they even said it in the room. Are you doing
- 33:13Speaker 5: a recruitment right now?
- 33:14Speaker 3: What is this? That's right. They totally called it out.
- 33:17Speaker 5: You're right.
- 33:18Speaker 2: And then also, there was that argument about the shield.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Because Abby thinks that she saw Arissa get a shield.
- 33:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Which was explainable, as she said. It was like, no,
- 33:31Speaker 2: I was untying the rope. But also.
- 33:36Speaker 2: That whole shield thing with going into those crypts and
- 33:39Speaker 2: the treasure, we still don't know who has the shields. Correct?
- 33:44Speaker 2: Because I don't remember seeing... Well, Clyde.
- 33:47Speaker 4: Tamika and Clyde have... Remember, because Clyde is like, I
- 33:51Speaker 4: don't know what the hell Tamika... I don't think Tamika
- 33:54Speaker 4: understands how to play this game. And Tamika's like, buddy,
- 33:57Speaker 4: go ahead and take the shield because I'm a traitor.
- 34:01Speaker 5: He doesn't know that. But she's just like... And then
- 34:04Speaker 5: she uses that opportunity to.
- 34:05Speaker 3: Be like, I just need to be honest. I don't
- 34:07Speaker 3: want to get called out.
- 34:09Speaker 4: Clyde and I got a shield and Clyde has a shield.
- 34:12Speaker 3: I don't have the shield.
- 34:13Speaker 5: And then Clyde's like. Yeah.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Like I thought that, but I thought that she, that
- 34:18Speaker 2: was really smart of her.
- 34:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:22Speaker 5: It's smart, too, because now Clyde and then somebody maybe
- 34:25Speaker 5: it was Abby.
- 34:26Speaker 4: I think it was Abby that was like, I definitely
- 34:28Speaker 4: don't think you're a traitor now. Didn't she say that?
- 34:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:31Speaker 5: Somebody said that to her walking in. Yeah.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Which is why I'm like, she's so off on so
- 34:37Speaker 2: many things that she's she literally was like, I think
- 34:41Speaker 2: when she was talking to Katie, I'm pretty positive she
- 34:45Speaker 2: was something like, Yeah, Tamika 100% doesn't even know what
- 34:50Speaker 2: the word traitor means. Like she is not a traitor.
- 34:52Speaker 2: And Joe, like those two are, those are the two
- 34:55Speaker 2: most people that are not at all on my radar
- 34:59Speaker 2: or on my list. And you, Katie, like you couldn't
- 35:02Speaker 2: do it. So she does not have a sense. And
- 35:06Speaker 2: so at first I was like, oh my God, she's
- 35:08Speaker 2: so far off. This is amazing. But then as the
- 35:11Speaker 2: episodes went on, somehow some of the things that she
- 35:14Speaker 2: did made me think like towards the end, I was like, okay.
- 35:17Speaker 2: She's going to somehow turn this around and figure it
- 35:19Speaker 2: out maybe. But they're not going to get rid of
- 35:21Speaker 2: her because she is kind of off.
- 35:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:25Speaker 4: And it seems like Katie can get to her.
- 35:31Speaker 5: They're buddies.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Here's the other thing that where I was like, Abby,
- 35:36Speaker 2: what are you talking about? And everyone seemed to be
- 35:39Speaker 2: fine with this. I'm curious how you feel about it.
- 35:41Speaker 2: But I was like, this is nothing. So Sherry said
- 35:45Speaker 2: to Abby, we need to start looking at the men.
- 35:48Speaker 2: We know there aren't three female traitors. And Abby's like,
- 35:53Speaker 2: how does she know how many? And I'm like, because
- 35:56Speaker 2: we all just fucking agreed that they just probably recruited somebody.
- 36:02Speaker 2: And so there would be three. Also, with the rules
- 36:05Speaker 2: of traitors at this point in the game, there's usually
- 36:08Speaker 2: three traitors. So I did not think that this was
- 36:13Speaker 2: a smoking gun at all.
- 36:16Speaker 5: I did.
- 36:17Speaker 2: You did? But I don't understand.
- 36:19Speaker 5: Explain to me. Sometimes there are four traitors. Okay.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Oh, four. Okay, I guess.
- 36:26Speaker 4: And so I think like it could be, I could
- 36:30Speaker 4: see the logic. And again, when we're this early in
- 36:33Speaker 4: the game and you just need to have quote unquote evidence.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Yes.
- 36:39Speaker 4: That when you start to hear people say the wrong thing,
- 36:43Speaker 4: that's the best evidence you can possibly get, except for
- 36:47Speaker 4: like seeing them do something or seeing that, you know,
- 36:51Speaker 4: stepping out of line verbally is the best evidence, even
- 36:56Speaker 4: though it's.
- 36:57Speaker 2: But it's also often completely wrong and the thinnest.
- 37:01Speaker 5: So is everything else. Everything else is always wrong.
- 37:05Speaker 4: So But to your point, it has never been right
- 37:09Speaker 4: that when somebody has misspoke.
- 37:11Speaker 5: That's what I'm saying.
- 37:12Speaker 2: That's why I was so mad last week about Christy
- 37:18Speaker 2: doubling down on my girl Madeline. You know, I was
- 37:22Speaker 2: so pissed about that. Now, hold on, though. What she
- 37:26Speaker 2: said about Xavier at the breakfast was very impressive. She's like.
- 37:30Speaker 5: I don't know how no one else clocked that. Like,
- 37:32Speaker 5: as soon as she said it, it should have been
- 37:34Speaker 5: an immediate.
- 37:36Speaker 4: Yeah, like it kind of.
- 37:37Speaker 5: Was, but not enough.
- 37:38Speaker 2: It was, don't you think? Yeah, not enough. Or if
- 37:41Speaker 2: it was, we didn't see it because Alan came in
- 37:43Speaker 2: or whatever.
- 37:43Speaker 5: They cut it. Right, yeah.
- 37:45Speaker 2: But she did put, she connected two things, which was
- 37:49Speaker 2: very impressive, which means she is thinking ahead, you know,
- 37:54Speaker 2: which is a great way, you know, she's thinking ahead
- 37:56Speaker 2: in terms of how things work on this game.
- 37:59Speaker 5: Yeah. Or thinking back.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Or thinking sideways, yeah. but like it didn't lead us
- 38:08Speaker 2: to anyone necessarily except.
- 38:10Speaker 4: For the connection with Katie right right right and I
- 38:14Speaker 4: do think like um Joe had that conversation with Michael
- 38:20Speaker 4: which I actually thought was pretty smart earlier that day
- 38:23Speaker 4: which was uh his theory about they are taking out
- 38:28Speaker 4: all the athletic people that are good on the challenges
- 38:31Speaker 4: so that it will The traitors must be super athletic
- 38:36Speaker 4: because they haven't killed anybody like Joe, basically. Because then
- 38:44Speaker 4: it'll leave only a few people that are really good
- 38:47Speaker 4: in the challenges.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:49Speaker 5: And I thought that was a really good theory.
- 38:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:52Speaker 4: And I was like, I wish he would have talked
- 38:55Speaker 4: about that more at the roundtable, too.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it didn't come up.
- 38:59Speaker 5: But, like.
- 39:01Speaker 2: But because no one's ever really said that, I think
- 39:03Speaker 2: because it's such a afterthought that you even that would
- 39:07Speaker 2: be like the last course of action to get rid
- 39:09Speaker 2: of somebody or keep someone because of if there's heat
- 39:12Speaker 2: on you, there's heat on you and you have to
- 39:14Speaker 2: find a way around it. But I guess if you're
- 39:17Speaker 2: trying to, you know, throw eyes in a different direction,
- 39:22Speaker 2: that could be a strategy as a default of like, well,
- 39:26Speaker 2: who can we get rid of? Who could be just
- 39:28Speaker 2: a wash?
- 39:29Speaker 4: Right.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Right right right not a strong person yeah yeah oh
- 39:36Speaker 2: no I mean I'm sorry or rather a strong person right.
- 39:40Speaker 4: Yes I'm but yes but like both both things can
- 39:45Speaker 4: be true as as we say As we say.
- 39:51Speaker 2: As Alan says.
- 39:52Speaker 1: Are you a faithful or a traitor?
- 39:56Speaker 2: Jay, the traitors aren't playing a good game. I have
- 40:00Speaker 2: my sights set on someone, but I'm not sure. And
- 40:06Speaker 2: so I won't tell. And I won't tell because I
- 40:08Speaker 2: know who it is because I don't know. And I
- 40:11Speaker 2: will tell you at the round table or right now
- 40:14Speaker 2: that I won't tell you. in the challenge also because
- 40:17Speaker 2: i do know for sure that i don't this guy.
- 40:22Speaker 5: Is uh.
- 40:26Speaker 6: He is i'm sorry he's so golden until he's absolutely
- 40:32Speaker 6: like just worn silver No.
- 40:38Speaker 4: I don't ever want to hang out with a guy.
- 40:41Speaker 4: I never, ever want to be in a situation where
- 40:43Speaker 4: teamwork is involved with him.
- 40:45Speaker 5: But as a viewer, I'm like, yeah, it's entertaining.
- 40:49Speaker 2: By the way, Wyatt, thank you, Wyatt, darling. He's one
- 40:53Speaker 2: of the ones that's like, you got to shut up.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Like you really have to shut up.
- 40:59Speaker 5: I loved it.
- 41:00Speaker 4: I know. I, and I'd also am like, You know,
- 41:05Speaker 4: I know when we go, we get on our phones
- 41:07Speaker 4: and we vote for the traitor.
- 41:08Speaker 5: I'm definitely going to vote for Wyatt. Don't worry.
- 41:11Speaker 3: Right.
- 41:12Speaker 5: I wouldn't vote for Jay, but I'm just like, yeah,
- 41:17Speaker 5: he's great.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Yeah, he's extremely entertaining. I just I put myself in
- 41:22Speaker 2: that position on that challenge. And I was like, man,
- 41:25Speaker 2: you're awful. Now, this shortlist thing, I don't like. It's
- 41:30Speaker 2: not fair. Like you're it's just random people. Who are
- 41:35Speaker 2: taking one for the team. And I don't think it
- 41:37Speaker 2: should be like that. You know, a short list to
- 41:40Speaker 2: be murdered. Like, that's not cool.
- 41:43Speaker 5: I'm of two minds because I agree it's not cool.
- 41:47Speaker 4: But then at the same time, it adds a lot.
- 41:50Speaker 4: It adds so many stakes to the actual challenge. It
- 41:54Speaker 4: makes the challenges interesting to watch. Because there's friction among
- 41:59Speaker 4: the people that are staying behind. And why aren't you
- 42:02Speaker 4: staying behind? I mean, it made that challenge interesting. Yeah,
- 42:06Speaker 4: because the.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Stakes are higher.
- 42:09Speaker 4: Yeah, so it's like, yeah, you don't necessarily need to
- 42:13Speaker 4: do it every time, but when it shortlists you, then
- 42:18Speaker 4: people get pretty real quick.
- 42:21Speaker 2: Yeah, shortlisted. Morgan, Naya, Mark, Victor, Christy, Clyde, Abby, Tamika, Sherry, Joe,
- 42:28Speaker 2: and there's going to be a funeral. Boy, when they
- 42:31Speaker 2: put them in those boxes... This is one of the
- 42:34Speaker 2: reasons why I don't think I could go on traders
- 42:36Speaker 2: for those tombs, for those like caskets. I just couldn't
- 42:41Speaker 2: do it. I would get really freaked out.
- 42:44Speaker 5: Really?
- 42:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:46Speaker 5: Even with like knowing there's a hundred cameras in there?
- 42:49Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe, maybe, maybe I'd be okay.
- 42:51Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 42:52Speaker 2: If they put, I don't know if they're throwing dirt
- 42:55Speaker 2: on it. Oh God, I don't think I could do it.
- 42:58Speaker 3: You know?
- 42:58Speaker 5: I could totally do it. I would be all about it.
- 43:03Speaker 5: The bugs, all of it. I'd be fine. Yeah.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Wait, we've got Michael. Who's Michael? Let me see here.
- 43:11Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Michael confronts Katie. And he's like, yeah, so people are
- 43:16Speaker 2: basically saying it's you. And she's like, mm-hmm. She's basically
- 43:19Speaker 2: like turning into Kyle. She's like licking her lips. She's
- 43:21Speaker 2: just like, right? And now, and so we've got, and
- 43:27Speaker 2: so we're at the round table and Jay is tries
- 43:30Speaker 2: to be concise and says he's been taking notes all
- 43:33Speaker 2: week and Katie is the traitor. So like, what the fuck, Jay?
- 43:37Speaker 2: You said on, you know, in the forest that you
- 43:39Speaker 2: thought it was Arisa and you also said Katie, but
- 43:42Speaker 2: now you're saying you're just saying Katie. And that's where
- 43:46Speaker 2: we land.
- 43:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Well, he's right. But I don't like the delivery is annoying,
- 43:53Speaker 2: but he's right.
- 43:55Speaker 4: I will say this is going back to the end
- 43:57Speaker 4: of episode three. Because that ended on a round table
- 44:00Speaker 4: two with Jay. And that was him being like, the
- 44:05Speaker 4: way it was edited, I wasn't sure what it was.
- 44:08Speaker 4: But he's like, I'm a body language expert.
- 44:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:12Speaker 5: And then Joe's like, hold on.
- 44:15Speaker 3: Hold on. You're a body language expert.
- 44:20Speaker 5: Are you?
- 44:21Speaker 3: This is a stretch.
- 44:23Speaker 5: Somebody was recruited last night. Dude, anybody's body language. I
- 44:28Speaker 5: was like, Jesus. And then.
- 44:34Speaker 4: They cut away and it seemed like Jay was like,
- 44:39Speaker 4: I just wasn't paying attention last time.
- 44:42Speaker 2: I almost lost my mind. That's the type of psychological
- 44:47Speaker 2: torment that is too much to be on the traitors.
- 44:53Speaker 5: You're attacking your I don't know.
- 44:56Speaker 2: I don't like it. I, I went nuts when he
- 44:58Speaker 2: did that. I was like, then why did you bring
- 45:00Speaker 2: that up? Why did you bring it up? But he's
- 45:02Speaker 2: supposed to be a physician, right?
- 45:05Speaker 5: And he was active military. Like Jay is like, Jay,
- 45:08Speaker 5: I looked, I looked him up.
- 45:12Speaker 4: I think he's not active. I, but he saw, I
- 45:15Speaker 4: think he, he was like activated.
- 45:18Speaker 5: Like, yeah. Yeah.
- 45:21Speaker 2: Oh my God.
- 45:23Speaker 4: And when he was just sitting there alone eating at
- 45:26Speaker 4: the breakfast table, his dinner, and just like scarfing it down.
- 45:30Speaker 2: What's with these? Like him and Michael Rappaport eating the
- 45:34Speaker 2: way that they're eating, like shoveling it in. I'm just
- 45:36Speaker 2: thinking like, do you guys not have time? Like, is
- 45:39Speaker 2: it a time thing?
- 45:40Speaker 4: And then Sherry tried to talk to him and he
- 45:43Speaker 4: wouldn't even respond. She's like, where are the napkins? And
- 45:45Speaker 4: she's like, okay.
- 45:46Speaker 5: And he didn't even acknowledge her.
- 45:48Speaker 2: He was like off.
- 45:50Speaker 5: Yeah, he did. He was charging.
- 45:52Speaker 2: That guy's crazy. You know, some of these people lie
- 46:00Speaker 2: about what they do, but we know the secret about
- 46:04Speaker 2: what they do. So, right?
- 46:06Speaker 3: So far.
- 46:06Speaker 5: I guarantee there's going to be more reveals.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Okay, so Jay is lying. He's not a doctor. There's
- 46:12Speaker 2: no way.
- 46:14Speaker 3: No, he is.
- 46:14Speaker 5: Well, according to the, I looked him up. He's a physician.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 46:20Speaker 3: Of what?
- 46:20Speaker 5: But he's like a general practitioner. Okay. And his wife
- 46:27Speaker 5: is a nurse and works with him.
- 46:29Speaker 1: Sure.
- 46:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 46:30Speaker 3: Let's go with that. I had to look that up.
- 46:32Speaker 5: Let's go with that. And then I was like, when
- 46:33Speaker 5: did this site, when did they design this site? Like,
- 46:37Speaker 5: is this real?
- 46:39Speaker 2: Oh, my.
- 46:43Speaker 5: Gosh.
- 46:44Speaker 1: But.
- 46:46Speaker 5: I think, like, that's actually the only one I looked up.
- 46:49Speaker 2: He's a mustache doctor.
- 46:50Speaker 5: Come here.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Let me see that mustache. Let me just see. When
- 46:55Speaker 2: was the last time you got your mustache checked? Ooh,
- 46:58Speaker 2: I'm going to have to, we're going to have to
- 46:59Speaker 2: do an ultrasound on this mustache. Yeah, I'm seeing some,
- 47:03Speaker 2: oh God, I'm seeing some crumbs in here. This is
- 47:05Speaker 2: not looking good.
- 47:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that for anybody else, I mean, when
- 47:13Speaker 4: we were talking the last time about if there's connections
- 47:16Speaker 4: in the cast, I think that it would have been.
- 47:19Speaker 5: Called out by now.
- 47:21Speaker 2: Oh, you do.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Okay.
- 47:23Speaker 4: Because I don't know how they got away with it
- 47:26Speaker 4: in the UK, but they will have, remember like Diana
- 47:30Speaker 4: and her son? Yeah.
- 47:33Speaker 5: And they've had other, or boyfriend and girlfriend.
- 47:35Speaker 4: Eventually, like once these Traitors episodes start airing, people know
- 47:40Speaker 4: in their communities that they're together or there's some connection.
- 47:45Speaker 5: We haven't heard that. So I'm assuming that there isn't that.
- 47:50Speaker 2: I wonder if, the selection of traders is going to
- 47:55Speaker 2: have to change significantly now from in the future because
- 47:59Speaker 2: they have a pattern of choosing people who now to
- 48:03Speaker 2: me are very obvious if they continue going down this route,
- 48:07Speaker 2: like of the people that they choose, they choose very,
- 48:11Speaker 2: you know, vivacious, charismatic, strong, obvious people. Whereas like, you know,
- 48:19Speaker 2: like Joe and Tamika are, If people were to look
- 48:22Speaker 2: at the history of who they've chosen to be traitors,
- 48:25Speaker 2: they both fit the bill, in my opinion. So they're
- 48:28Speaker 2: not going to be able to use this anymore. They're
- 48:30Speaker 2: going to have to start going and putting like people
- 48:32Speaker 2: like Abby, who's like a mom, you know, in a
- 48:36Speaker 2: position or and like Wyatt, you know, who's like a
- 48:39Speaker 2: younger guy who just seems real nice. To me, I
- 48:45Speaker 2: think that this is going to be way more obvious
- 48:49Speaker 2: to people later. Um, I don't know. This format, this
- 48:54Speaker 2: format seems, because they've used the same type of format.
- 48:58Speaker 2: It's almost like the same casting. Do you know what
- 49:00Speaker 2: I'm saying?
- 49:01Speaker 4: Am I wrong about that? I, I do think maybe,
- 49:05Speaker 4: but I've watched a lot of traders and so in
- 49:08Speaker 4: different countries.
- 49:09Speaker 5: So I feel like this is not that, they do
- 49:13Speaker 5: change it up a lot.
- 49:14Speaker 4: And, especially with like we don't really know these people
- 49:17Speaker 4: because they're not celebrities and I think like we're kind
- 49:23Speaker 4: of making them who we want them to be in
- 49:25Speaker 4: a way and same within the castle because they don't
- 49:29Speaker 4: have a frame of reference for who anybody is either
- 49:32Speaker 4: and so they're assigning these traits to them like to
- 49:37Speaker 4: me if I'm in the castle Joe is not going
- 49:40Speaker 4: to be a traitor to me because he's so vocal
- 49:45Speaker 4: that I'm just going to assume he's like, like, but.
- 49:50Speaker 2: That's exactly why I think that that's why I would
- 49:53Speaker 2: think he is based on the traitors that I've seen.
- 49:57Speaker 2: So you've seen a bunch of others. And for me,
- 49:59Speaker 2: all the ones that I feel like we've seen that
- 50:01Speaker 2: are vocal, like end up being traitors. And it's like,
- 50:03Speaker 2: Oh my God. You know, I mean, uh, Rob wasn't,
- 50:07Speaker 2: you know, he wasn't that vocal. All right, so who's gone? Xavier?
- 50:11Speaker 5: Kim, Arissa, Logan, Madeline.
- 50:18Speaker 2: Wait, okay.
- 50:19Speaker 5: Madeline and Arissa were roundtable outs.
- 50:25Speaker 4: Kim, Logan, Xavier were trader outs.
- 50:30Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, that's right. Kim, Logan. Where's Logan?
- 50:35Speaker 5: Oh, my God. Well, I don't know what your grid is,
- 50:38Speaker 5: but he's between Christy and Madeline to me.
- 50:41Speaker 2: Oh, OK.
- 50:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:42Speaker 2: Logan, there he is.
- 50:43Speaker 5: And a lot.
- 50:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:44Speaker 4: Even as a person, he's between Christy and Madeline.
- 50:47Speaker 5: Yeah. Very Southern quiet.
- 50:50Speaker 2: Mm hmm. So. All right. Why don't we talk about
- 50:55Speaker 2: who we think is going to be like. All right.
- 51:00Speaker 2: Let's just talk this through. Who's going to make it
- 51:02Speaker 2: to the end? And then our final picks. Shane and Sherry,
- 51:07Speaker 2: they had a really interesting conversation towards the end there.
- 51:11Speaker 2: And I loved that. I love that Shane was like,
- 51:15Speaker 2: how do you feel about Katie? Because Logan and Xavier
- 51:17Speaker 2: mentioned her and she was like, huh. And she really
- 51:19Speaker 2: took it in. Also, I appreciated that she did acknowledge
- 51:22Speaker 2: that she was super quiet and she was like, I'm
- 51:24Speaker 2: going to stop. I need to speak up because that's
- 51:27Speaker 2: not who I am. And I don't know what came
- 51:28Speaker 2: over me. So I was I'm glad that she got
- 51:30Speaker 2: that out, you know, to people. Yeah. Shane, I think,
- 51:34Speaker 2: is going to make it to the end. He may
- 51:39Speaker 2: end up being taken out because I think he's going
- 51:40Speaker 2: to be really good. But I think he might be
- 51:44Speaker 2: recruited eventually. So I'm going to say Shane is going
- 51:47Speaker 2: to make it to the end as a trader. That's
- 51:49Speaker 2: going to be my prediction. And Michael, I think, is
- 51:54Speaker 2: going to make it to the end. And I think
- 51:57Speaker 2: Abby is going to make it to the end because
- 51:59Speaker 2: she's going to kind of go along with people. She's
- 52:01Speaker 2: going to be one of those people that's like really nice.
- 52:03Speaker 2: Which Abby? Abby B.
- 52:05Speaker 5: Abby L. Abby B.
- 52:06Speaker 2: Abby B. Who's there as a mom, like doing it
- 52:09Speaker 2: for herself. She's going to be one of those people
- 52:12Speaker 2: that is going to be carried because she's not going
- 52:15Speaker 2: to be controversial. She's not going to kick up dust.
- 52:18Speaker 2: And she'll end up towards the end because she's just
- 52:22Speaker 2: like neutral. Do you know what I'm saying?
- 52:25Speaker 4: Yeah, but she's not really in an alliance with one
- 52:28Speaker 4: of the traitors. And so because of that, I think
- 52:31Speaker 4: that I could.
- 52:33Speaker 5: See them turning on her. Unless they recruit her.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Yeah. But not now.
- 52:39Speaker 4: Usually someone like Abby has to be BFFs with one
- 52:43Speaker 4: of the traitors.
- 52:44Speaker 2: Not even realizing it.
- 52:44Speaker 5: From the jump, though?
- 52:45Speaker 2: But from the jump?
- 52:46Speaker 5: Well, we're four episodes in. Okay.
- 52:49Speaker 2: So you think like from the jump, really?
- 52:51Speaker 3: Okay.
- 52:51Speaker 2: Because I think that the traitors could use her, you know?
- 52:56Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah.
- 53:00Speaker 2: Who do I think is going to get it all?
- 53:02Speaker 4: It's not clear to me, by the way, who Tamika's
- 53:06Speaker 4: alliances are with.
- 53:07Speaker 5: Like she doesn't seem to be in a clique.
- 53:10Speaker 4: And Joe kind of is with some of the guys,
- 53:16Speaker 4: but not totally like.
- 53:17Speaker 2: Yeah, this is very different than like celebrity because. you're
- 53:22Speaker 2: coming in with friends that you already know. So it's
- 53:24Speaker 2: not as clear.
- 53:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 53:25Speaker 2: That's why, I mean, you've watched more than me, but
- 53:28Speaker 2: it seems like they need more time. Like the regular
- 53:31Speaker 2: people need more time to create their kind of alliances.
- 53:34Speaker 2: The first whiff of an alliance, or at least a
- 53:38Speaker 2: connection that seemed to run deep was like Shane and
- 53:40Speaker 2: Sherry seemed to be like, we're vibing. And then you've
- 53:43Speaker 2: got the dolls and they're falling apart. You know, they're
- 53:46Speaker 2: not going to stand the test of time. What I
- 53:48Speaker 2: think would be a really smart move is if the
- 53:50Speaker 2: traders eventually recruited Michael because no one would ever guess
- 53:56Speaker 2: that it is Michael because he's a good player, he's smart,
- 53:59Speaker 2: and people trust him.
- 54:01Speaker 4: But I think they already are looking at Michael because
- 54:03Speaker 4: that last roundtable they were saying you're way too smart.
- 54:08Speaker 4: If I was a trader, I would kill you. I
- 54:11Speaker 4: would have murdered you, Michael, because you're way too smart.
- 54:13Speaker 5: And you're a lawyer. Like, Victor saying that changed some
- 54:16Speaker 5: minds at the table.
- 54:18Speaker 2: So you're saying that they might vote him already as, like,
- 54:22Speaker 2: being a traitor?
- 54:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 54:24Speaker 5: Interesting. Yeah.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Oh.
- 54:28Speaker 5: Yeah. I mean, I don't know.
- 54:30Speaker 2: This is a really good show. Okay, what are your
- 54:32Speaker 2: thoughts on who do you think is going to go
- 54:33Speaker 2: to the end?
- 54:34Speaker 5: I think Naya. Naya, if she is a faithful....
- 54:41Speaker 4: Um and i'm i this is not just saying this
- 54:45Speaker 4: but i'm looking at wyatt too because he is not
- 54:49Speaker 4: in a lot of the edits right now which i
- 54:51Speaker 4: think that they're saving him because we don't need to
- 54:54Speaker 4: get to know him yet because he's not leaving yet
- 54:56Speaker 4: yeah oh that would be and i think yeah so
- 55:00Speaker 4: that i'm i'm thinking wyatt and naya.
- 55:03Speaker 2: Victor's going to have a really interesting time because he's
- 55:06Speaker 2: just going to be a roller coaster. Like he's going
- 55:08Speaker 2: to have ups and downs. People are going to really
- 55:10Speaker 2: trust him and really not trust him. And I think
- 55:13Speaker 2: this is going to be the most interesting arc is
- 55:15Speaker 2: his journey.
- 55:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:18Speaker 2: I wonder where he's going to land. I don't want
- 55:19Speaker 2: him to leave.
- 55:21Speaker 5: Maybe Shane too. If there are three faithfuls left, those
- 55:26Speaker 5: would be the three.
- 55:28Speaker 2: Victor, Wyatt, and Shane. Oh, you're saying Naya, Shane, and Wyatt.
- 55:31Speaker 5: Naya, Shane, and Wyatt. Yeah.
- 55:33Speaker 2: Those are good picks. As faithfuls?
- 55:36Speaker 5: If they get to the end, and if they're, you
- 55:39Speaker 5: know what I mean? I could see one of the
- 55:41Speaker 5: three or all three of them, if they remain faithfuls,
- 55:44Speaker 5: they could do it.
- 55:47Speaker 2: I would think that, like, if they have to recruit,
- 55:51Speaker 2: if they take Katie off, if they, like, clip Katie next,
- 55:55Speaker 2: which they probably... I think they will. I think she's gone.
- 55:58Speaker 5: They have to. Yeah. They need a sacrifice of traitors soon.
- 56:01Speaker 2: By the way, we haven't even mentioned Mark. He's just
- 56:03Speaker 2: like this sweetheart that's like perched up there like a
- 56:05Speaker 2: little kitten.
- 56:06Speaker 5: Hey, man. Bros can win this thing. So like I
- 56:11Speaker 5: could see him doing it too.
- 56:13Speaker 2: Everybody loves Mark.
- 56:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:16Speaker 5: They should recruit him.
- 56:18Speaker 2: If Katie, that would be interesting. If Katie goes, which
- 56:22Speaker 2: she probably will, and they're going to have to recruit
- 56:24Speaker 2: someone else. It would be tempting to recruit Jay because
- 56:31Speaker 2: he's such a chaos monster. But I don't think that
- 56:35Speaker 2: they would ever do it because he is such a
- 56:38Speaker 2: chaos monster that it would like.
- 56:40Speaker 5: Yeah, I would never want him to know I was
- 56:42Speaker 5: a traitor.
- 56:42Speaker 4: Because his kind of chaos does seem to be very managed.
- 56:52Speaker 5: And I would, as a traitor, would be so thrown...
- 56:55Speaker 5: But he would never be thrown.
- 56:57Speaker 2: I thought you were going to say manic. I was like, yeah.
- 57:01Speaker 2: I don't think it's managed. I think it's manic.
- 57:03Speaker 5: But he's managing it. He's good at knowing what he's doing.
- 57:09Speaker 5: I really do think he is a good player.
- 57:11Speaker 2: Because he throws everybody out. It's an interesting strategy that
- 57:17Speaker 2: we haven't seen anybody do deliberately.
- 57:19Speaker 5: Right.
- 57:20Speaker 2: It's incidental when people are causing chaos and then they're
- 57:24Speaker 2: not considered a traitor because of that.
- 57:26Speaker 4: Yeah, right.
- 57:27Speaker 2: And they keep them for that. So he knows the
- 57:29Speaker 2: game well enough now. We're so many, you know, seasons in.
- 57:33Speaker 2: So he knows that by doing that, that could garner
- 57:36Speaker 2: him safety. But it can also backfire.
- 57:38Speaker 5: It can backfire. Because he's doing it so hard.
- 57:42Speaker 4: But if he is driving for Katie and they get
- 57:46Speaker 4: Katie out and she.
- 57:48Speaker 5: Is a traitor.
- 57:49Speaker 4: the game will switch to, they won't give a shit
- 57:53Speaker 4: about Jay unless he, you know, is on it. You
- 57:57Speaker 4: can't even deal with them in a normal day, which
- 58:01Speaker 4: could also happen. But I think he's smart enough to
- 58:04Speaker 4: pull back from that.
- 58:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:07Speaker 5: And it would be really smart to.
- 58:08Speaker 4: Make Mark a traitor and then, and then take out
- 58:13Speaker 4: like an, you know, somebody that's, like, really good in
- 58:17Speaker 4: the challenges, like, besides Mark.
- 58:21Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 58:21Speaker 5: So then it could lean into Joe's theory about athletes
- 58:25Speaker 5: getting knocked off. Oh, right, right.
- 58:29Speaker 4: And then they could get Mark out because then it
- 58:31Speaker 4: would be like, Mark, you wanted to be the strongest
- 58:33Speaker 4: person and now you're a trainer.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Oh, interesting.
- 58:36Speaker 2: Oh, wow, you're really thinking ahead. Abby L. at times
- 58:41Speaker 2: has reminded me of, like, was it Dolores that was, like,
- 58:44Speaker 2: completely off about who she trusted, right?
- 58:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:48Speaker 5: Well, she was so annoyed by Sandoval that she just kept.
- 58:50Speaker 3: Or no, wait.
- 58:51Speaker 2: She was annoyed by Sandoval, but she kept saying that
- 58:55Speaker 2: the actual traitors, she was so off and she was
- 58:58Speaker 2: just calling them out as if they were the best
- 59:01Speaker 2: people and there was no way. And that's kind of
- 59:04Speaker 2: how I see Abby L.
- 59:05Speaker 5: I'm like, oh my God.
- 59:06Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay.
- 59:07Speaker 5: And Sandoval kept thinking it was Dolores. She was like,
- 59:12Speaker 5: they're still fighting. She's still mad about it.
- 59:16Speaker 2: She already, she even mentioned an ultimate girls trip at
- 59:18Speaker 2: that Halloween party or whatever.
- 59:20Speaker 4: Remember at the fire when Dolores was like, I will
- 59:23Speaker 4: find your families and kill them.
- 59:25Speaker 5: Basically.
- 59:26Speaker 4: You guys are traitors at the final.
- 59:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:28Speaker 2: Yes.
- 59:30Speaker 3: Oh, right.
- 59:31Speaker 5: That's how you do it in Jersey.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Well, it's such a good season already. I'm obsessed.
- 59:36Speaker 5: I love it.
- 59:37Speaker 2: It's so great to be back. Alan is firing on
- 59:40Speaker 2: all cylinders.
- 59:42Speaker 5: I love the red look.
- 59:44Speaker 2: The red look. Followed by a real nice black look, too.
- 59:48Speaker 5: That was great as well.
- 59:51Speaker 2: Well, guys, thank you so much for listening. We're having
