Calgary police cracked a months-long Costco scam where a duo swapped barcodes on cheap items for expensive electronics, stealing over $30K. The scheme, active from April to June, involved fake UPCs and was uncovered by staff. Authorities raided their Cornerstone home, seizing 300g of suspected meth, drug gear, forged credit cards, fake IDs, and a stolen Samsung TV. Both suspects — a 41-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man — now face 119 charges including theft, identity fraud, and drug trafficking. They’re set to appear in court soon.
