- 0:00They're going to have a ton of money to spend.
- 0:01Why not put it in one of the top three offensive players in the
- 0:05league? We're going to be looking at
- 0:14Aaron Judge and saying that he can't win the big game, Michael
- 0:17Jordan said. I played 82 games.
- 0:20You don't see the one doing that a game.
- 0:22Where you got to go? Before I told you giant feet
- 0:26Saquon Barkley, this The Jabba and the Mouth Mouth
- 1:30631-672-3108 is the number to call.
- 1:38You're listening to the one, the only, Jabba and the Mouth.
- 1:45I am the mouth, the one and only arrow marks my Co host, Mr.
- 1:48Flame Thrower himself, Jabba Chamberlain, the speedster
- 1:53himself, hanging from his underwears as he always does.
- 1:56Speedy PD executive producer Mr. Aaron Fish Fishman, you just
- 2:00heard him and the one and only Tommy Poops in the studios
- 2:03working the sound and hopefully not doing anything else,
- 2:06watching this horrible Yankee game.
- 2:08Hopefully the Yankees pull it out.
- 2:10Go to our website at www.worldwidesportsradio.com.
- 2:15Check out all our shows throughout the week, including
- 2:18Jabba and the Mouth every single Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:30

- 2:28website at www.worldwidesportsradio.com.
- 2:35And yeah, everybody's wondering probably why I'm wearing a short
- 2:38sleeve shirt. I, I promised myself, I promised
- 2:40my partner here, I would not do this on the show anymore.
- 2:44But we've been dealing with some heat in the studio and we just
- 2:48got a new air conditioning. It needed to kind of flex
- 2:52itself. So it's been very, very humid
- 2:55down here in the studio probably for the last four or five hours.
- 3:00So I'm trying to air out this place.
- 3:02We're starting to get some cooler air.
- 3:05And once we do, I'll probably throw on a jersey.
- 3:07But for right now, I do not want to sweat in this studio.
- 3:11I want to be very comfortable, as we all know we have to be.
- 3:15Jabbar, are you comfortable in Nebraska right now?
- 3:18Is the corn fields about to crash?
- 3:20Is it not blooming anymore? No, harvest is about over, so
- 3:27everything's kind of ending. Harvest is where you like
- 3:30harvest stuff if you don't know that, because I don't think
- 3:33there's much harvesting going in Long Island, so.
- 3:35But no, yeah, it's just been a day over here.
- 3:37We just signed some papers for a new house, so I get all that
- 3:42done. So yeah, we'll be flying by the
- 3:45seat of her pants. Picked up some boxes.
- 3:49Now, I literally going back and forth with Carter like, hey,
- 3:52what do you want for your room, blah, blah, blah.
- 3:55So other than that, then we got some, we got some good baseball.
- 3:58We got two game threes going in the wild card and we'll touch on
- 4:01that, man. It's been a it's been a day.
- 4:04I literally got half of my dinner right here, so I'll
- 4:08probably be taking bites here and there so well other than
- 4:11that. I'm not taking.
- 4:12Man, I'm just hanging out. The only bites I'll be taking is
- 4:15the sandwich, but Brittany's going to bring it home from me
- 4:18because she went to Ford's. I don't know if anybody's heard
- 4:20of this restaurant. It's here in Long Island.
- 4:23It's in a couple of places around the country, but it's in
- 4:25Smith Haven Mall and it's called Ford's.
- 4:28I wanted to go and check out the place.
- 4:30Haven't really had a chance. We've gone everywhere but Ford.
- 4:33Brittany loves to go to different restaurants.
- 4:36Every single restaurant that pop a steak restaurant.
- 4:40Do you guys call it sandwiches or grinders or Subs or hoagies?
- 4:44She likes it all. I mean, I don't think she
- 4:46complaints. No, no, don't you call it
- 4:48something like in different spots?
- 4:49No, we call it. Heroes.
- 4:51That's a heroes. We call it heroes.
- 4:54You know what I like and I'll, I'll say this and Speedy, you
- 4:57know what I'm talking about Philly cheese steak.
- 4:59I always say about Jersey Mike's you, you did you ever have a
- 5:02chance to eat Jersey Mike's Philly cheese steak?
- 5:05Did I ever introduce introduced? I've had it before I met you
- 5:08too. And I I do like it.
- 5:10I like the I tend to like the Chipotle one Jersey, Mike.
- 5:13'S I, I like Jersey Mike's every time.
- 5:15And it doesn't matter if it's in Florida.
- 5:17Here in New York, I've been all over the place.
- 5:20There's a bunch of them all over the country.
- 5:22And I love the Philly cheese steaks.
- 5:24And everybody says, well, it's a, it's a replica of
- 5:27Philadelphia cheese steaks. No, it's not.
- 5:30I've been to Philadelphia. What were you going to say,
- 5:32Jabba? Homer, sorry.
- 5:35Who hit Homer? Trevor Story.
- 5:38Oh, he hit a Homer again. Oh my God.
- 5:41Oh, he's he just got a single that gave him a run or two runs.
- 5:45And now he's now he's hot. This is making me sick to my
- 5:48stomach. The Yankees are going to lose
- 5:49this game. I've said this already.
- 5:51The Yankees are going to lose this game tonight again.
- 5:54So Red Sox team that shouldn't even be in a wild card game.
- 5:57But they got hot really in a second-half of the season.
- 5:59But I don't want to get into that.
- 6:01We'll get into that in just a few moments.
- 6:02My thought here right now is is trying to figure out where I
- 6:07wanted to go and eat tonight. She winded up going out and
- 6:10eating with her girlfriend. And so she went to Ford's and
- 6:14she asked me what kind of sandwich do I want?
- 6:16She took pictures of the the menu.
- 6:18I picked one out and she actually picked it out for me.
- 6:21So I'm excited, but I'm not going to be able to enjoy it
- 6:25where all these gadgets and gizmos are all over this
- 6:28restaurant. So I'm not going to get a chance
- 6:30to enjoy. Yeah, that's gone long gone for
- 6:32the old store star. And look at him wave.
- 6:35You know, I this is this is the problem, This is why I can't
- 6:38stand the Boston Red Sox because whenever they do something,
- 6:41whenever their players do something, they mock the Yankee
- 6:44fans. Now I, I mock the Yankee fans
- 6:47too, and I'm a Yankee fan, but it's just the the arrogance on
- 6:51the way they do it. It it really does bother me.
- 6:53Anyways, a lot of baseball to get into.
- 6:56We do Jabba will be on for most of the show.
- 6:58He might be tailing a little bit at the tail end of the show.
- 7:02He's got family coming out so Jabba will be dealing and and
- 7:07being the host when it comes to his family.
- 7:09And then Mr. Mr. Poops as a what?
- 7:13Is it your nephews birthday? Is it something like that?
- 7:15Yeah, it was. It's his nephews birthday.
- 7:17How old is he? He's turning 3 years old.
- 7:20Three years old so. And what's your nephews name
- 7:23again? Name is Elijah.
- 7:25Elijah. That's right.
- 7:26Elijah. Happy birthday to three-year old
- 7:30Elijah. Do you No speed.
- 7:32I do not want you to sing happy birthday.
- 7:33I don't want you to scare anybody off any earlier than we.
- 7:36Need what are like 3 year olds into these days I wonder?
- 7:39Trucks, I think. They're like a bluey.
- 7:42You know Bluey you ever heard of?
- 7:42Bluey, bluey, good call. Bluey is just a new cartoon.
- 7:46It's, yeah, Bluey fish. It's a new cartoon.
- 7:49He also likes his Miss Rachel. She's making her rounds recently
- 7:52on social media. It looks like it looks like, I'm
- 7:56sorry. It looks like Boone's.
- 7:57Boone's taken out Rd. Don.
- 7:59But go ahead. I'm sorry, what were you saying,
- 8:00Blue? Yeah, Bluey and Miss Rachel.
- 8:02She's making her rounds recently.
- 8:04Miss Rachel? Yeah.
- 8:05I don't know if you've heard her.
- 8:06I've heard of her. No.
- 8:07Well. Sounds like a sex toy to me.
- 8:09Miss Rachel. I mean, who's ever heard of Miss
- 8:13Rachel? I mean the first thing that pops
- 8:15into my. Rachel.
- 8:16Rachel, come on, please. Yeah, see, Fish has heard of
- 8:19Miss Rachel. I mean.
- 8:20Give me a break. She has been everywhere.
- 8:22She's been very. Mean I'm sure she has the.
- 8:24Last couple of years, honestly. She's been all over the place.
- 8:28She's been to California, New York, Texas, Miami, everywhere.
- 8:32Missed. That's like that garbage we
- 8:34talked about the other what was a couple weeks ago 670 my just
- 8:39absolutely just. Punched me in the fish
- 8:40mentioning that is the first all on my feet now fish mentioning
- 8:43that the other day is the first time.
- 8:45I've heard of. It all I see is 66767, this six.
- 8:49It's like a part of the brain, as they like to say.
- 8:52How about this? I was wearing, I was wearing a
- 8:54baseballism shirt and it was the L7 weenie from The Sandlot.
- 8:59Like obviously very like self-explanatory, but I was in
- 9:03and it was a bunch of like high schoolers and literally it just
- 9:08said L7 and it was hot dogs, right?
- 9:10Like does your shirt say 6-7? I was like, are you you've got
- 9:14to be shitting me right now? I was like, are you kidding?
- 9:17Like and I knew nothing about it until it was brought up.
- 9:20And then I was like, what are we taught?
- 9:22Like what? What is going on doing?
- 9:25I thought I was. Still, I'm not a hot dog fan, so
- 9:28I I know me and Speedy have gone back and forth.
- 9:31I've had a lot of BBQ parties. I am not a hot dog fan.
- 9:35The only time I eat a hot dog is when I go to Manhattan and I
- 9:38have one of those dirty dogs for for some reason the taste in
- 9:41that water gives it this like salty taste that I have to enjoy
- 9:46my dog. Are you talking to like a street
- 9:48dog or a? Street Dog Yeah, yeah, that's
- 9:50what I'm talking about. You know, you pick it up,
- 9:51you're, you're at the, I don't know, a 34th and 36th or
- 9:56something like that. But I know that hot dog truck
- 10:00because I'm always there and I always grab myself a dog or two.
- 10:03I I can't have a hot dog with either ketchup or a BBQ sauce.
- 10:08I don't like mustard. I'm not a mustard fan.
- 10:10I can't. I like honey mustard and I know
- 10:12people go back and forth about this, but honey mustard is way
- 10:16different than mustard. Will you put honey mustard on a
- 10:18hot? Dog, did you just say hot dog
- 10:19with BBQ sauce? Yeah, it's actually kind of
- 10:22good. It's good.
- 10:22That's pretty good. It's good.
- 10:23I've tried that. It's really good.
- 10:24I mean like I've like when it's got in like my BBQ, but I
- 10:28haven't like played like put barbecue on.
- 10:30Like it's good as a topping. It's good, I'm telling you.
- 10:34Try it, it actually really is good and it depends because I
- 10:38don't eat a lot of hot dogs, but here it is.
- 10:40Is it a double play? Double play.
- 10:43Two. Yeah, he's out of there.
- 10:46Hopefully. You guys are way way.
- 10:48Behind No, because we we use, we stream, we're in the studio, we
- 10:52use the stream. We don't use a regular box here
- 10:54in the studio. So we're about.
- 10:55I don't either I, I. We're sitting, yeah, but I use a
- 10:58different stream. This is about 8 seconds behind
- 11:01usually everybody, but nevertheless are you?
- 11:02Probably use that pirated like. No, no, no, no, no.
- 11:05It's not pirated. No, I have 25,000.
- 11:07What are you trying to get me arrested?
- 11:09This guy, this guy's going to get me.
- 11:11Arrested. This ain't Napster dog like.
- 11:13Times have changed. You see this guy, you see what's
- 11:15going to happen? I'm going to have, I'm going to
- 11:17have a knock on the door. I'm going to the FBI here and
- 11:19I'm going to put my hands on, I mean, this, this SOP.
- 11:23Anyways, in Game One of the American League Wild Card
- 11:27Series, the Red Sox beat the Yankees 3 to one in a great
- 11:31pitching dual between Garrett Crochet and Max Free.
- 11:36In seven and two third innings pitched by Crochet, he struck
- 11:41out 11 and allowed only one run on Anthony Volpe's home run,
- 11:46tying a Red Sox playoff record. Freed, while battling control at
- 11:51times, shut out the Red Sox through 6 1/3 innings, striking
- 11:58out only 6. Freed, however, was pulled in
- 12:01the 7th inning for Luke Weaver, who then immediately gave up the
- 12:05lead before being pulled without retiring a single batter.
- 12:11Many Yankee fans have questioned the decision making on the bench
- 12:16and the hot bats and key players like Jazz Chisholm and Ben Rice
- 12:23against Lefty Crochet for the cold bats of backups Ahmed
- 12:28Rosario and Austin Wells, who lost a lot of playing time to
- 12:33Rice in the second-half of the season.
- 12:37The Tigers won game one versus the Guardians 2 to 1, led by
- 12:41likely back-to-back American League Cy Young winner Tyreke.
- 12:47I mean Tariq school balls, 14 strikeouts.
- 12:50But the Guardians won Game 2, by the way, that was that was a
- 12:54joke 6 to 1 after scoring five runs in the eighth inning trying
- 12:59this series, tying the series. The Cubs won game one versus the
- 13:03Padres 3 to one with back-to-back home runs by Suzuki
- 13:08Suzuki and Kelly in the 5th inning but were shut out in the
- 13:13game. In game 2-3 to nothing to even
- 13:16the series. Manny Machado had two run home
- 13:20A2 run home run in the fifth after a sacrifice sacrifice fly
- 13:25in the first game gave the the Padres the lead for good.
- 13:30The Dodgers dominated dominated the Reds in game one of of the
- 13:33Wild Card Series, powered by two home runs from both Hernandez
- 13:39and Shay Ohtani. Ohtani, the likely back-to-back
- 13:42National League MVP, had a 282 batting average with 55 home
- 13:47runs, 102 RB is and 20 stolen bases during the regular season.
- 13:52I want to get into the Yankees first.
- 13:53The Yankees game is going on right now.
- 13:55It could be the demise of the New York Yankees as the Red Sox
- 14:00are young and have nothing really to play for.
- 14:03I'm, I'm just being honest, the only thing they have to play for
- 14:06is the next round. If they can get out of this
- 14:08round, it's all money for them because they're ahead of
- 14:11schedule. This team is way ahead of
- 14:14schedule with the injuries that they had at the tail end of the
- 14:17season. And they don't really have any
- 14:19pitching besides Crochet. They really don't.
- 14:23They're rebuilding their pitching staff.
- 14:26They're rebuilding, which by the way, their bullpen has been
- 14:29rebuilt this past year. I mean, Andy Chapman and some of
- 14:33the players that they added, this is still a very good, very
- 14:36dominant bullpen. But as far as their rotation,
- 14:39this is not a good rotation. But the Yankees in game number
- 14:44one had to do a lot of things right if they were going to win
- 14:47this game. They had to put points on the
- 14:49board and they couldn't. They couldn't.
- 14:53Max Free did exactly what the Yankees paid him to do, and
- 14:58that's go out and pitch. Shut out after shut out after
- 15:02shut out after shut out innings. He did what he was supposed to
- 15:06do. And everybody wants to blame
- 15:08Aaron Boone. And I'm going to get to the
- 15:09Aaron Boone take because I don't sit here and listen to sports
- 15:13radio shows to try to copycat their thoughts.
- 15:15I'm going to give you mine. I'm going to give you my way of
- 15:20putting it on a silver platter or a gold platter or a platinum
- 15:24platter. Whatever platter you like, I'm
- 15:26going to put it on. For all you fans out there, the
- 15:30Yankees right now going into this series, we're the best team
- 15:35in the American League. They were tied for the best
- 15:37record. Only the Blue Jays beat them out
- 15:40because the Blue Jays had that face to face record of the the
- 15:44record that the Yankees should have had all season long.
- 15:47But of course, at the tail end of the season, made a lot of
- 15:49mistakes and went on these skids, which hurt the Yankees.
- 15:55The Yankees going into the season, we're expected to go
- 15:58back to the World Series and so are the Dodgers.
- 16:02I don't know if the Dodgers are going to make it on damn well
- 16:04believe that the Yankees aren't going to make it.
- 16:07And there's a lot of reasons why.
- 16:10Aaron Judge did have two hits in game #1 and he did get an RBI
- 16:17tonight, which could be very, very important if the Yankees
- 16:19actually win the game. But you expect your superstar
- 16:25players to show up. If Aaron Judge wants to move on
- 16:29in this series, he's going to have to do something special in
- 16:32this game. Because to me, there's all the
- 16:36confidence in the world going into game #2 which is going on
- 16:39right now because of the fact that you got guys like Bregman,
- 16:44guys like Chapman. And it is so very fitting when
- 16:48you look at it. The guy at the tail end of the
- 16:51game that shut down the Yankees and their lineup was a roll
- 16:54dish. Chapman, who the Yankees
- 16:56overpaid year after year after year, which by the way, never
- 17:00won with a roll dish. Chapman And then Bregman, Alex
- 17:07Pain in the ass, flee Nutso Bregman.
- 17:11And I call him nutso because the guy, every time he's around,
- 17:15he's running around the bases. When he hits all run he goes
- 17:18crazy. Alex Bregman hit that key hit in
- 17:24the later innings that gave them A31 lead and as soon as that
- 17:29happened the game was over. And the reason why is the
- 17:33Yankees have no offense. And for years, the Yankees have
- 17:38tried to figure out who do we put in this line up to tell to
- 17:42help and Aaron Judge or a Gleiber Torres or a John Carlos
- 17:45Stan, who, by the way, absolutely looked horrible last
- 17:48night as well. The Yankees have all the
- 17:54pressure on them. There's all the pressure.
- 17:57You play the three home games. You play in the smallest stadium
- 18:01or one of the smallest stadiums in all of baseball.
- 18:03This is a home run park and all it takes is 1 bat, 1-2 run, home
- 18:09run, and the series is going to be over tonight.
- 18:12You know why? Because the Yankees can't hit.
- 18:15Are you going to blame Aaron Boone for that?
- 18:16And that goes to the Arab Boone situation.
- 18:21Now I have to attack Yankee fans on this one.
- 18:25You're going to blame Aaron Boone for taking out Max Freed
- 18:29when he thought that Max Freed was done.
- 18:33Max Freed had to tell Aaron Boone.
- 18:35You saw him when he gave the ball.
- 18:37If he didn't think he was done, he would have probably said when
- 18:41Aaron Boone went up to him, do you think he could pitch to
- 18:44another? You saw him do it and he said he
- 18:47didn't say anything, which tells him maybe they have some kind of
- 18:50sign with one another that he was done.
- 18:53There's no way Aaron Boone takes him out unless he asks Max Freed
- 18:58that he if he doesn't have one left in him.
- 19:01He doesn't. I've seen managers do this in
- 19:04the playoffs and Aaron Boone is one of those guys that is
- 19:06faithful to his players. He doesn't just all right, I'm
- 19:10going to take him out. Matchups do make sense.
- 19:12Athletics make sense. I'm sure upstairs they reached
- 19:16out to him and said maybe this is it.
- 19:18This is it for him. I don't know, but it didn't look
- 19:21like Max Freed was upset that he was getting pulled out of the
- 19:25game. He didn't look upset.
- 19:28Now you want to blame Aaron Booth for that.
- 19:31How about blaming the players when they need to take hit and
- 19:34they needed to get up there and get base runners.
- 19:37They couldn't do that against Crochet.
- 19:39Crochet absolutely dominated them after Volpe's hit.
- 19:43I think there's there was only three hits against Crochet and
- 19:46two of them were Volpe. Yes, Anthony Volpe, the all the
- 19:51guys, including yours truly and all the Yankee fans wanted him
- 19:54out of here. And this is the guy that only
- 19:57got most of the hits against one of the more dominant pitchers
- 20:01and Garrett Crochet in all of baseball.
- 20:05I'm not going to sit here and make excuses for this team and
- 20:08no Yankee fan shouldn't they shouldn't.
- 20:13This is not a team that I believe is capable.
- 20:18Of winning these close games. That's why I said going into
- 20:22tonight's game, the Yankees are going to have to put up at least
- 20:25three or four runs and make sure that Rodon has the confidence
- 20:28that it can ride that out all the way to the 7th or 8th
- 20:32inning. That's the only way the Yankees
- 20:34have a chance against this gritty Red Sox young team.
- 20:40And Aaron Boone is not the smartest and the perfect
- 20:43manager, I will admit that. But I've always stuck up for
- 20:47Aaron Boone, and I didn't think he was going to last.
- 20:51I didn't. I said it on this show.
- 20:53I'm not going to back out of what I said.
- 20:55As Keith always says, oh, you say what?
- 20:58Dang, and you don't stick to the other.
- 21:00That's a lie. Because I said that Aaron Boone
- 21:04was done 70 games left of the season.
- 21:08I said it was over for the Yankees and Aaron Boone's going
- 21:11to be looking for a new job. I was wrong.
- 21:16Aaron Boone went on this run with the last 5055 games of the
- 21:20season where the Yankees were the best team in baseball.
- 21:23You could argue they were them. The Guardians were pretty damn
- 21:28good. They were a good teams.
- 21:31The Mariners were pretty good. The fact here is this is a team
- 21:36that should absolutely pulverize this Red Sox team.
- 21:41They're much better than this Boston Red Sox team.
- 21:44But again, year in and year out since 2009, and Jabba knows all
- 21:49about this. They can't find a guy that can
- 21:54do what Derek Jeter does. They couldn't find a guy that
- 21:58did what Johnny Damon did against the Yankees when the Red
- 22:01Sox played the Yankees. They didn't have and they don't
- 22:06have those guys. They're not existing on this
- 22:09roster. There is nobody Giancarlo here.
- 22:13Here's home runs. John Carlo is hot or he's cold.
- 22:17I don't know what he is yet because we don't, we only seen
- 22:20him in one game and he hasn't hit yet in this series.
- 22:23I mean, he really hasn't. I, I'm, I'm worried because even
- 22:29if the Yankees win tonight and the Yankees beat the Red Sox,
- 22:34are they better than the Guardians or the Tigers or the
- 22:39Mariners or any of those teams that I just mentioned?
- 22:44The answer would be no, because to me, this team does not have
- 22:49enough depth. And I don't want to hear Jazz
- 22:51Chisholm, who, by the way, looked horrible when he came
- 22:55into the game. And by the way, for all the fans
- 22:58out there taking shots at Aaron Boone that Jazz Chisholm didn't
- 23:01start. Why don't you go and talk to
- 23:03Brian Cashman? Why don't you go and talk to the
- 23:06executives, the analytics? Because that's the only reason
- 23:11why Jazz Chisholm did not start the game.
- 23:15It wasn't Aaron Boone. And I, I'm tired of people
- 23:18blaming this guy that he is the familiar face, the familiar guy
- 23:23to pick on every single time something happens in a
- 23:27professional New York Yankee game.
- 23:30And I say professional because I watch Trenton and I watch all
- 23:33that garbage too. No, that's that's one thing.
- 23:36And, and I had to jump in when you were saying that because
- 23:39it's I understand the frustration from a fan's
- 23:43perspective of like, what the Hell's Cashman?
- 23:46And like, but also too, and, and we've, we've kind of beat a dead
- 23:50horse when this happens when it comes to this.
- 23:52It's like, when are we going to stop complaining about those
- 23:56guys that aren't playing? Let's do the things on the field
- 24:00that get a big two out here, Do those things.
- 24:02Like there's so many times where it's like the first thing to do
- 24:06is like. Hey.
- 24:08Let's blame cash. Let's play.
- 24:09No, like, I get it, fans. It's frustration.
- 24:13Like I understand, like I'm a baseball fan.
- 24:15I was fortunate not to play it, but I'm a fan longer than I ever
- 24:18will be on the field. You're so right.
- 24:20It's like, when are we going to start saying, like, Judge,
- 24:24you're the best player on the planet along with Otani and a
- 24:28handful of others? Because there's this.
- 24:30You're playing Major League Baseball.
- 24:31I understand that. But you can't hit 200.
- 24:34And we've said this, this hitting 200 gets you here
- 24:38winning a championship. Nobody cares what Alex did
- 24:41before O9HE won a World Series of New York Yankees Judge, you
- 24:45got to do so. And I know I'm saying it, it's
- 24:47easier said than them, but stop freaking blaming everybody else
- 24:52except the dudes that strap it on are in between the lines
- 24:55standing 60 feet 6 busting a hard night like you.
- 24:58You got to stop with the the Cashman and whatever.
- 25:03Let let's get a bunt down. Let's put it drive a guy over.
- 25:06Yeah, it's not sexy. It doesn't go in the score book,
- 25:09but you got a guy in scoring position with less than two outs
- 25:12for a guy to have a chance to score in like those this playoff
- 25:16baseball, the game is 1. You seen guys come out of the
- 25:19bullpen in the 5th and 6th innings that are closers in high
- 25:22leverage situations like this is a different game, like getting a
- 25:26guy over PFPS. We've already seen an error by
- 25:28Rodon that almost cost them and so it's just these little
- 25:32things. Stop always putting it on
- 25:33management. Put it on the players like we we
- 25:36put it on ourselves as fans, put it on them too.
- 25:39Like we're grown. Like Jazz was pissed yesterday.
- 25:42Good for him, I liked it. Some people may have not have,
- 25:45but he was pissed and you could tell.
- 25:48Good for him. He's a 3030 player.
- 25:50You may not like him, but his numbers don't lie.
- 25:52In 162 games. Look at he was a premier top ten
- 25:55player for 162 games. I would have been pissed too but
- 26:00stop blaming the damn management and blame these dudes sometimes
- 26:03when they don't get it done. And here's another thing going
- 26:06back to Aaron Judge. Aaron Judge is hitting.
- 26:08Everybody's going to say, wait a second, He's got four hits right
- 26:11now in this series. But besides the RBI he had
- 26:14tonight, which gave him a lead 3 to 2, they weren't significant
- 26:19hits. They were singles.
- 26:21You want to see home runs. This is what this guy is paid to
- 26:25do. He is a superstar.
- 26:26He's a great Samaritan. He's a great face for baseball.
- 26:29He's everything you want in a leader.
- 26:32He's everything you want in a superstar.
- 26:35He really is. You can't complain about that.
- 26:38But it's just the fact that everybody wants to point their
- 26:41fingers at management. They want to talk, want to speak
- 26:43about, hey, if the Yankees get knocked out in the first the
- 26:46first round, the Wild Card game, maybe they keep Aaron Boone and
- 26:49they get rid of all of the managers or all the guys on the
- 26:51bench. What is that going to do?
- 26:53Is that going to really fix up the problems that they can't hit
- 26:57in the big games, in the important parts of the game?
- 27:00No, and that's why they're in this predinky dink.
- 27:03I said I'll predink a mint because it's predinky dink,
- 27:06because the dink is that this team is going to lose because
- 27:11there's a lot of dink and donk on this team.
- 27:15You got Chisholm donking and then you got guys I've never
- 27:18even heard of dinking. You got a third baseman that
- 27:23hey, he he might be decent. Should he be playing just
- 27:28because of his defense? Is he that good?
- 27:30Where you going to play him? He's a better hitter than
- 27:33anybody else. I would have moved Chisholm over
- 27:35there. I would have moved Chisholm over
- 27:37there and found somebody to play second base, a better bat and
- 27:40more bats to the lineup. If you're not hitting and you
- 27:44know you're going to have problems hitting against
- 27:46Crochet, then you do whatever it takes to figure that out.
- 27:50It's all about offense in this game.
- 27:52It's not going to be about defense.
- 27:54It's going to be who's going to get that big hit?
- 27:57Who's going to hit that big home run?
- 27:58Aaron Boone knows a lot about that against the same damn team.
- 28:02Does everybody remember? I think I remember against Tim
- 28:06Wakefield May Rest in peace. Remember that that fired a
- 28:10manager, that got a manager fired after that, and I'm not
- 28:15saying Alex Korres getting fired, but Alex Bregman is a
- 28:20Yankee killer. He is a killer and he killed him
- 28:24again yesterday. And if you know he's a killer,
- 28:27why aren't you pitching around him?
- 28:30You know that your bullpen has this thought that if they're
- 28:34off, they're off. And when they're on, we hope
- 28:37they're on and every single one of them on.
- 28:39That's the problem with the New York Yankees year in and year
- 28:42out. It's their bullpens been burnt
- 28:44out. So you want to blame Aaron Boone
- 28:46for that? Blame him for that.
- 28:48Don't blame him because hey, you know what?
- 28:52He went to Max Freed. He asked Max Freed.
- 28:55It's not like Max Freed just walked off the mound.
- 28:57He didn't. He was speaking to him.
- 29:00What do you think he was speaking to him about?
- 29:03You think he was just oh, let's oh, we have some teen crumpets
- 29:06in the back. Go get yourself.
- 29:07Go grab yourself some cupcakes. You think that's what he was
- 29:10talking about? Come on, guys.
- 29:13He was talking about Where do you see?
- 29:15Do you see? You have another one?
- 29:16Do you have the rest of this inning?
- 29:18You think you have anything left?
- 29:20He probably in his own way said I, it's up to you.
- 29:23I I don't know any brother. Good, good game, man.
- 29:27Good game. We'll get you.
- 29:29We'll get you out of this. A job.
- 29:31You know all about this. This is what the manager does.
- 29:33He gives you the especially in a playoff game.
- 29:35And you know your pitcher deserves to stay in there.
- 29:38He earned the right to stay in there.
- 29:40I know Aaron Boone's not just going to take you off the
- 29:43mountain. He left Rodon in.
- 29:45He left Rodon in and look no nobody out man on 1st and 2nd.
- 29:51The Yankees are in trouble. 7th inning.
- 29:53Same inning that caused the Yankees the game yesterday.
- 29:57And your favorite player, the 8 hitter Rafaela coming up to the
- 30:00plates? Yes, when the varres.
- 30:03Oh no, Rafael at the center field.
- 30:05Yes, and Narvaez is hitting fifth and yeah, I know you were
- 30:09taking shots at him. On the whatever his name.
- 30:11Carlos Sarva is a young catcher that plays definitely
- 30:14instigating the Yankees. And you've seen this kind of
- 30:15thing we talked about it with when we were talking about
- 30:17Devers about the beginning of the season, like when Devers
- 30:21came up and he was already instigating the Yankees in that
- 30:23in that rivalry too. And obviously hitting the home
- 30:25run off Chapman that kind of started then you're kind of
- 30:27seeing even though Devers is gone, you're kind of seeing
- 30:29those other young players have the that type of mentality just
- 30:33to try to jitter to the Yankees because the Yankees are the ones
- 30:36with all the pressure. The Red Sox are the ones that
- 30:37are under the pressure. And let's looks who's getting it
- 30:39done. It's a 789 guys in the order for
- 30:40the Red Sox getting it done. I've always said the Red Sox is
- 30:43that kind of a strange pattern to the way they are as a team.
- 30:46They do well when you least expect it.
- 30:49They have a like the 2013 team at a core of like a bunch of
- 30:52like veterans that were scrap heaps. 2018 had a good team, but
- 30:54it wasn't like sort of as a powerhouse.
- 30:56And this is a young team Fish. I think it was you.
- 30:58I forget if it was you or it was Goody that brought it up with
- 31:01that, the prospect development, that unique concept.
- 31:04I forget if it was which segment it was, but they're making that
- 31:06kind of thing work and the Yankees are just caving to the
- 31:08same things they always. Do I think it was goody?
- 31:10They're caving to that same pressure they always.
- 31:12Think it was goody. I'm pretty sure it was goody.
- 31:14Was it goody? No, that was something that I
- 31:16did before the season started. Yeah, yeah.
- 31:19I was just going to say I thought it was before.
- 31:21Yeah, it was before the season started because they had the
- 31:23three big prospects, Christian Campbell, who did not pan out,
- 31:27and they actually paid, which made me kind of laugh a little
- 31:29bit. They had to send them back down
- 31:31after a hot first month. Roman Anthony is freaking for
- 31:35real. Oh my God, That guy came up and
- 31:37dominated almost from the jump. He's injured and.
- 31:41Got a lot of money too. He's.
- 31:43The best player? Well, but that guy absolutely
- 31:45deserves it. He's going to be one of the best
- 31:47players in baseball in almost no time flat.
- 31:49That guy's incredible, and they don't have him right now.
- 31:52And the Yankees need to win this game.
- 31:54They don't have G Alito either. So you they were going to throw
- 31:57another lefty at the Yankees so they can neutralize those lefty
- 31:59bats at Yankee Stadium. They don't have that.
- 32:01So that there's so many advantages for the Yankees here
- 32:05with that Red Sox depleted lineup.
- 32:07And here's the problem with Aaron Boone.
- 32:09I I'm going to take shots at Aaron Boone.
- 32:11I don't completely blame Aaron Boone.
- 32:13I do blame guys like Volpe for having some of the worst at bats
- 32:16in key situations like he just did last inning and then Max
- 32:19Freed after the game arrow. He did say that he could have
- 32:21kept going, but but that's how it is.
- 32:23That's how the Yankees are. They're conditioned not to argue
- 32:26about it because that's how it is.
- 32:28I'm not saying that he shouldn't have argued.
- 32:29I think he should have. But he had just gotten the first
- 32:33guy out in the 7th and the 8:00 and 9:00 hitters were coming up.
- 32:36What do you mean that you need to take out your ace when he's
- 32:39pitching like that? He could have gotten those two
- 32:42guys out in a handful of pitches and it would have still been
- 32:44under 110. I don't think that was a smart
- 32:47move, and I think most Yankee fans think that was a really bad
- 32:50managerial move. You should have left them in for
- 32:53the bad hitters in the lineup. What's the worst that could have
- 32:55happened? The same thing that happened
- 32:57with when they brought in Luke Weaver, who's been bad for over
- 33:00a month and a half. Why would you go to that guy?
- 33:03That's not the guy to go to. It's like when he was going to
- 33:05Devin Williams when he was terrible earlier this season.
- 33:08It's the same shit. You know, I really.
- 33:10Understand why you do that. You know, the Yankees bullpen
- 33:12really struggled where I saw a tweet yesterday.
- 33:14It's weird to think Devin Williams was the only one that
- 33:16actually produced out of the Yankees bullpen yesterday.
- 33:19Well, I mean, look, go with the hot hand.
- 33:21There's plenty of evidence saying that something's up with
- 33:23Luke Weaver. He's not pitching well.
- 33:25His his don't post Hilo is down too.
- 33:27He's, I think he's playing hurt and of course he's not going to
- 33:31argue out of it when they're in the postseason, but don't put
- 33:34them in when it's a tight spot. That's crazy and he did it and
- 33:39now we're in a tight spot again. It's 3/3 in the seventh.
- 33:43They got a couple of guys on. They bring in Cruz.
- 33:45I like Cruz a lot, but they left Rodan in after he got out of the
- 33:516th inning with that great double play to start the next
- 33:55inning and he let the first two guys on and threw wild pitches
- 33:57because he's he's done. How do you not know to take him
- 34:01out before the start of the inning?
- 34:03To me, these are kind of fireable offenses as a manager.
- 34:07If they lose, if they lose, they're going to fire.
- 34:10Out all of that, without all that, they lose both of these
- 34:13games when they were winning at home and get swept by the Red
- 34:17Sox. I think they have to fire.
- 34:20No, not a. Someone's got to be escaped.
- 34:21No, it's not going to be Cashman.
- 34:23No, first of all, nobody needs to be a scapegoat right now.
- 34:27This is a team that was fighting all year on who was going to be
- 34:30in the bullpen, who is going to be the closer, who was going to
- 34:33be the 8th or 9th in a guy. You made a move for Devin
- 34:36Williams. It felt.
- 34:37It felt you decided to go with Devin Williams and Devin
- 34:41Williams was one of the best closers.
- 34:43Ron no. Now they're loaded, loaded with
- 34:47two outs. He made a Jazz, made a diving
- 34:50play, just couldn't get enough on the throw.
- 34:53I think he was safe either way. He was probably safe either way,
- 34:56but it's still, you know, that's a run.
- 34:57If he but he saved a run. That's the other thing, like I
- 35:00understand Cashman's got the analytics.
- 35:04Jazz Chisholm's your starter. He's a top five second baseman
- 35:07in Major League Baseball. So weak position, but he's a top
- 35:10five second baseman in Major League Baseball.
- 35:12There's no doubt. You got to play that guy.
- 35:15I don't care if a moderate. I disagree.
- 35:18I disagree was great. Against.
- 35:20I disagree. 6 for. None I again, I'm looking at I'm
- 35:23looking at both players and and again they're looking at the
- 35:26defensive side of the ball. They wanted to make sure that
- 35:29they probably knew that this game was going to be close.
- 35:32This game was going to be close. Did somebody get a hit your
- 35:35body, you guys are itching and. What happened?
- 35:37No, it's it's story up with the bases.
- 35:39Loaded all right, it's story and that's.
- 35:41Not the guy. That's not the guy I want to see
- 35:42with the bases loaded. Not right now, no.
- 35:45He's freaking hot. He's had a really good.
- 35:46Year but I I understand why people are upset about obviously
- 35:50Aaron Boone and the mistakes that he's made year in and year
- 35:52out. It's still you have to look at
- 35:54him and and some of the things that he has accomplished.
- 35:57This is the same manager that managed his team to the World
- 36:00Series last year. They played a better Dodger team
- 36:03now and I want to say something. I thought he was done this this
- 36:06year, but to get this team to rally behind him the way he did
- 36:10and get him into the playoffs and almost have the best record
- 36:12in the American League, dude, there were six games out of
- 36:15first place going into the month of September.
- 36:19Everybody said they were done. There was no way they were
- 36:21coming back and they were down to the final game of the season.
- 36:24And if the Rays just didn't throw the season away, maybe the
- 36:27Yankees aren't playing in this wild Card game.
- 36:30Just saying the race. Just you're not wrong, but also
- 36:33you got to know that the last 50 games of the season, the Yankees
- 36:37had the easiest schedule in all of Major League Baseball and
- 36:39they talked about it a lot at the time that the Yankees were
- 36:41going to have a really good stretch run because of that.
- 36:43They took care of business. There's nothing that you could
- 36:45say negative about it. But now we're in these tight
- 36:48spots. The reason why the Yankees
- 36:49weren't the AL East champions because they blew games like
- 36:52this all the year mid season that they they should have had
- 36:56four or five more wins. But these dumbass moves by Boon
- 37:00with the pitching staff and some of the lineup decisions that are
- 37:04more than questionable. I mean, Errol, just think about
- 37:07it. If you're talking, think about
- 37:08when you're playing hockey, if the coach was like, you know
- 37:10what, against this team, I'm benching my 5th best player and
- 37:14I'm going to put this other guy in that you have to be on the
- 37:16line with. Are you going to be happy about
- 37:18that? That they put like some platoon
- 37:20guy in to to be on your line because of a matchup instead of
- 37:24a stud who's. Been doing this again.
- 37:26I'm not going to say. I'm not going to say he's the
- 37:28best person. Let's go.
- 37:29I'm not going to to say he's the best manager in the world.
- 37:32I'm just telling you. I'm just telling you that I
- 37:35think that Aaron Boone is a quality manager.
- 37:37And if he gets fired this offseason or next offseason,
- 37:40they're going to be 10 teams lining up from including the New
- 37:44York Mets. Because if Mendoza doesn't cut
- 37:47it next year and Aaron Boone gets waved off, who do you think
- 37:50the Mets are going to hire if he becomes available?
- 37:53You know damn well where they're going, and it's not even going
- 37:56to be an argument. They get rid of Mendoza mid
- 37:58season. This is the problem with New
- 37:59York fans. They did the same thing to Eli,
- 38:02pushing him out. They did it for many, many years
- 38:05to Tom Coughlin. They pushed him out.
- 38:07It doesn't work. It doesn't work.
- 38:10Do you guys get this? Do you understand this?
- 38:12Forget. First off, that's.
- 38:13Different. You can't, I don't think you
- 38:15just can't. Sprinkle a fairy dust on
- 38:18something and it's going to rise.
- 38:20Like Judge. OK, what do they call it?
- 38:22All rise? It's not going to rise.
- 38:25It's not going to rise. Except maybe something in
- 38:27Speedy's pants. Well, but nonetheless, that's
- 38:28Passover. That's later on on in the year.
- 38:30Right now we have Yom Kippur, so good Yontiff to everyone that's
- 38:33celebrating. Yes, absolutely good Yontiff.
- 38:36Yes, have a. Very good fast, all the, all the
- 38:40Jewish, Jewish people out there, all of you guys have a good fast
- 38:44as it started already and throughout the night and
- 38:48throughout tomorrow all the way till sunset.
- 38:50So I, I hope everybody has a very good fast.
- 38:54But, and, and by the way, if people don't know what Yom
- 38:56Kippur is, it's, it's a very simple holiday.
- 38:59It's a holiday where you beg for forgiveness.
- 39:02That's what it is. And that's what Yom Kippur is,
- 39:05is you're fasting because all the Jewish people, all the
- 39:10slaves out there that were slaves in the old, you know, in
- 39:13the Moses time and all that other stuff, they were slaves
- 39:16and they were people. They were, they were
- 39:21practically, there was no food and they were living off of
- 39:23nothing. And they want to show people or
- 39:27give people an understanding of what it was like in those days
- 39:31not having food. So yeah.
- 39:34Errol, I think you're getting your Jewish history a little
- 39:36mixed up. So Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish
- 39:38new Year. You get 12 or 10 days between
- 39:42the second day of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, which is the IT
- 39:46literally stands for Day of Atonement.
- 39:48So you're right. It's about begging for
- 39:50forgiveness for your sins. But it's more about like, it's
- 39:53similar to Catholicism where you know, like Saint Peter has the
- 39:55book, it's open, you know, and then they close the book on the
- 39:58year. If you're Jewish, you walk to a
- 40:00body of water, you take some bread, you throw, you
- 40:02symbolically throw the bread into the water to get rid of
- 40:05your sins, you know, and start the year anew.
- 40:08So again, good young to everybody.
- 40:11You're talking more Passover, but Passover is the the number
- 40:14one big time holiday. The Tigers very much related.
- 40:17We got to move on. We got to move on.
- 40:20I understand what you're saying, but we got to move on.
- 40:22The Tigers knock off the Guardians in game #1 obviously
- 40:27we expected school Bulls to do what he was supposed to do, and
- 40:30that was pretty much shut down. The Guardians.
- 40:33What was it, 8/8 and 1/2 innings?
- 40:36Just absolutely dominated and very well deserved.
- 40:39The Detroit Tigers are not. They've been up and down all
- 40:42season long and and honestly at the tail end of the season, they
- 40:45shouldn't have made the playoffs.
- 40:46They knocked off the Astros. The Astros were up and down too
- 40:50and a lot of people thought they were going to sneak into the
- 40:52playoffs, but the Tigers knocked off the Guardians.
- 40:55It's pretty simple. It was a battle of pitching.
- 40:57We expect that to be that when when guys like school bulls are
- 41:00on the mound and and the anybody right now with the guardians,
- 41:04their their their front 3 rotation is sensational.
- 41:07You can argue this is the best all around underrated rotation
- 41:11and all the baseball and and the guardians always find a way
- 41:13their scrappy team. We've I've talked to Nick about
- 41:15that. So the Tigers obviously have an
- 41:19opportunity now. Did did they play today?
- 41:21They didn't play today. They played today, Guardians won
- 41:23the second game, so they've. Got I don't know.
- 41:24I don't. I don't have it up there.
- 41:25They got five runs. I didn't get a chance by the way
- 41:27everybody, I didn't get a chance to do anything today.
- 41:30I've been running around all freaking day trying to get ready
- 41:33for this show. So I I record the shows, I
- 41:37record the games and I watch them and, and obviously
- 41:39back-to-back games, being that tonight's tonight was a game, I
- 41:42didn't even get a chance to watch the game.
- 41:43So I'll watch it after the show. But I've seen what happened last
- 41:47night and I and we're not going to get a chance to talk about it
- 41:51until next week, but and that the series will be over.
- 41:54But the Tigers right now with scuba, if Scubas can play every
- 41:59single day and and pitch every single day, the Tigers are just
- 42:02going to roll all over everybody.
- 42:03He's the best pitcher in baseball.
- 42:05You can't even argue that he's the Cy Young winner. 14
- 42:08strikeouts, That's ridonkulous. OK, It's ridiculous.
- 42:11So I expected that. As far as the Cubs are
- 42:14concerned, the Cubs I like, I think they're a good team.
- 42:20I think they have a very good roster.
- 42:22They have a tremendous amount of talent on the offensive side of
- 42:24the ball. I'm interested how this pitching
- 42:27is going to hold up all if they get out of the Padres series,
- 42:30which a lot of people think the Padres are better than the Cubs.
- 42:34If they get out of this series, how is the pitching going to
- 42:36hold up throughout the playoffs if they match up against the
- 42:39Dodgers or match up against one of these top cohesive offensive
- 42:44teams that we've seen? So I, I, the National League is
- 42:48so hard to predict because the Philadelphia, we haven't even
- 42:51seen him yet. They're they have the bye and I
- 42:53think Philadelphia's the best team.
- 42:55So could you imagine if the Cubs have to match up against this
- 42:58team and they got good pitching and they got a good ball pen?
- 43:00So I worry about the Cubs because I don't think the Cubs
- 43:02pitching is as reliant as some of the teams that we mentioned
- 43:06and the Dodgers. We, I, I know what Blakesnell
- 43:08is, Blakesnell, he is a Cy Young winner.
- 43:12This is a two time Cy Young winner.
- 43:14This guy can pitch when he's on, he's on.
- 43:17He's untouchable. And last night he was just
- 43:20absolutely dominant fashion. And I heard a lot of different
- 43:23broadcasters before the game say I would give my left leg if
- 43:26Cincinnati wins this game or wins this series, OK, I'm not
- 43:29going to mention who whoever is listening or is listening to who
- 43:34hosted that particular show knows who I'm talking about.
- 43:38I just think the Dodgers at full strength are almost impossible
- 43:42to beat, and I expect that to continue all the way through
- 43:46this playoff. The only team I think that can
- 43:48match up very well against the Dodgers at full strength is
- 43:51Philly. And even Philly doesn't have the
- 43:53pitching staff that the Dodgers have if they're 100% healthy.
- 43:57So that's what I see with this Series, A lot of Yankees,
- 44:01because I think the Yankees series is, is obviously we're
- 44:05here in New York and there's a lot of New York people watching
- 44:07this show because of Jabba and me, and we're here based out of
- 44:11New York. But all the games were fun to
- 44:13watch so far. And I expect this, this playoff
- 44:16to be a fun run. And I, I expect the two teams to
- 44:20come out of the National League in the American League to be
- 44:22surprise teams, not expected teams to make it to the World
- 44:27Series. That's my prediction.
- 44:28I agree with you on the Phillies, I think they're
- 44:29definitely the best all around when it comes to like the
- 44:32postseason identity combat with the talent.
- 44:34The Dodgers have the most talent when they are healthy and they
- 44:35definitely showed it in that game.
- 44:37Even their leader hitters are really getting it going as well
- 44:39against a good pitcher. Hunter Green Hunter Green's been
- 44:41a very good pitcher all year. He had some injury issues, but
- 44:44his strikeout pace was very good.
- 44:45But again, just the Reds. They had a nice run to get in,
- 44:48unfortunately knocking out the Mets and their historic
- 44:50collapse. But they the Dodgers just
- 44:52proving their will. The Cubs are interesting because
- 44:54obviously they have the top end pitching.
- 44:56But I do agree with you if they get out of this series with the
- 44:58Padres, I do worry about them in a longer series.
- 45:00I don't know if they have enough depth.
- 45:02That being said, it do they do have the top end pitching with a
- 45:05managa, Matthew Boyd and Kate Horton.
- 45:07You were talking about Java, young rookie that's been played
- 45:09pitching very well to make that kind of thing work.
- 45:11Tigers and Guardians is exactly what he said.
- 45:13Scrappy, scrappy baseball, really low scoring.
- 45:16I'm curious to see this this Cleveland bullpen, if they hold
- 45:19up like they did today or if they struggle like they did in
- 45:21game one, that'll define their game tomorrow.
- 45:23Yeah, it's I've, I've watched all of it.
- 45:26I playoff baseball for me is just, it's so fun.
- 45:29It's like opening day for me because you get 4 games and so
- 45:33for sure two days in a row you knew you were going to get four
- 45:35games. We're on pace hopefully as this
- 45:39keeps going and we got two game threes already and this one tied
- 45:42and then we got another one coming up.
- 45:43But yeah, the the Cubs, I mean, plenty of coming off the DL and
- 45:47coming in in the 5th and 6th inning was I mean, it just kind
- 45:51of shows you what councils doing right now.
- 45:52It's it, playoffs are different. There's no going down as a
- 45:56closer or a high leverage guy in the 4th, 5th inning.
- 45:59Like you're, you're going down before the game started and
- 46:01you're warming up. So it's, it's a little bit, I
- 46:04don't think the bullpen holds up.
- 46:07They're obviously not as deep. Obviously we got to like Cubs
- 46:11fans around here and I think I've charged my phone like 6
- 46:14times today just because everybody's like, what do you
- 46:16think, what do you think? Blah, blah, blah.
- 46:20And it's just they they feel like the I think the hitting's
- 46:22going to have to carry him a little bit.
- 46:24Philly's obviously just waiting on who they're going to get
- 46:28their their deep, their experience, they understand how
- 46:30to win and it's I think the Dodgers, the Reds made a nice
- 46:37run. I will the prediction for me and
- 46:39goody, I will I will take credit for that one on both sides of
- 46:42that. It's just, it's a little bit too
- 46:43late for those guys, you know, and then I, I can't count the
- 46:48guardians out. I just the way that they go
- 46:51about their business, It's like you just never know.
- 46:55And I, it's just, it's fun to watch a scrappy team and just
- 47:01there's no give up And it's, it's good at bats.
- 47:04It's, you know, just the little things and it's, I don't know
- 47:08how they're doing it. What I mean, they might have
- 47:10sacrificed a chicken. You never know.
- 47:12I love it And and I hope we get some surprises.
- 47:17I mean, I think we will. Just how big of a surprise will
- 47:21it be? I don't know if it's it's going
- 47:24to be what we expect. Some people are predicting
- 47:26another, you know, 09 rematch. I don't know if that's going to
- 47:31happen, but yeah. They win.
- 47:34They lose tonight. I had the Phillies and the
- 47:36Mariners at the start. I know a lot of people were
- 47:39saying Phillies, Yankees as well, or or Dodgers going back
- 47:41as well. Yeah, I just, I mean, Ohtani
- 47:47went deep on the fastest pitch over 100, like fastest status,
- 47:50like 114.9. Like, yeah, there's nothing he
- 47:53can't do. I mean, it's it's going to be
- 47:55interesting to see how they used him moving forward as far as on
- 47:57the bunk and that 117. My bad.
- 47:59And that's why, ladies and gentlemen, why I say your best
- 48:03player has to show up in the big points of a game and with one
- 48:07out man on 2nd and you have a chance to knock him in.
- 48:11You struck out. And Aaron Judge, that's all I'm
- 48:13saying ladies and gentlemen. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 48:16I hope everybody enjoyed the show.
- 48:17I hope our boy Goody is feeling better.
- 48:20Hopefully he's it takes a lot of allergy pills.
- 48:22I am going to be gone for Monday show.
- 48:25I will be back. We're moving next week's
- 48:27Wednesday show to Thursday, ladies and gentlemen.

- 48:33hosting with Jabba on on Monday. It'll be Jabba and Fish.

- 49:05Sorry, I want to tell everybody I was almost throwing up today.
- 49:09I was dizzy all day, I wasn't feeling very good.
- 49:12I was very surprised that I could even do the show because I
- 49:14was really not feeling good all single day.
- 49:16So happy to be here and I won't be here Monday, but you guys are
- 49:21in good hands with Jabba and Fish and Speed.
- 49:25So that's a good one. That is a good one.
- 49:27I've been, I actually paid for the upgrade.
- 49:30We're going to have some cool stuff from AI going forwards.
- 49:32There you go. Who's that, you know, picking
- 49:35them up? Is that me?
- 49:36You're not allowed to to put Patrick Swayze in.
- 49:40I learned over 20 times texting ChatGPT so it just said a Swayze
- 49:45like character and I thought hey you know Errol with the hair,
- 49:49kind of a poor man Swayze, you know what I mean?
- 49:52A poor man, Swayze. What the hell is that supposed?
- 49:55To mean you don't. Wear leather jackets, you got
- 49:57tank. I do what I mean.
- 49:58I do wear leather jacket. Do you have leather jackets of?
- 50:01Course I do of. Course he wears lather.
- 50:03He wears lather. I have.
- 50:05He wears lather when he competes for the Gayness Book of World
- 50:08Records. I have the gayness.
- 50:10I have some nice leather jackets with hoodies and everything.
- 50:13I I it looks good. Anyways, thank you to all the

- 50:37Nothing yet for Monday, but Nathan was able to get on
- 50:40Thursday. So the the CEO and a celebrity
- 50:43chef we have on that was going to be on Monday originally will
- 50:46be able to join on Thursday at 8:45 S CEO Jean Jean Butler is
- 50:50her name encourage kids Foundation, a non profit
- 50:52organization. And then the celebrity chef is
- 50:55Glenn Rollnick, who is a the lecturer of a culinary
- 50:58operations at a la carte restaurant group and also is
- 51:00involved with I I know one of my favorite, if not my favorite
- 51:03Italian restaurant in Java, one of your favorite Italian
- 51:05restaurants in Carmine's. He was he's involved in that as
- 51:07well. So he'll be joining us as well
- 51:09at 8:00. 45. Maybe they they owe me dinner
- 51:12when I get to New York. Oh.
- 51:13They do, yeah. Well, that's, that's what they
- 51:16said. That's what they said on the on
- 51:18the social media, so. Yeah, I was.
- 51:19I was there. I went to see, I went to see
- 51:21Hamilton back in 2023 and then we went there after.
- 51:24It was amazing. I remember Carmine's in a bunch
- 51:26of movies. I remember in it wasn't in
- 51:29Goodfellas. If I'm not not Goodfellas.
- 51:32I think that's kind of weird. No, I think Godfather, it was in
- 51:35The Godfather, it was in one of these movies.
- 51:36I don't know. Anyways, just shows you how
