Speaker 1: What if the real agenda behind flock cameras and data centers was something so dark and so frightening and diabolical that most Americans would just write it off as tinfoil conspiracy or a story out of a 1980s sci fi novel. Seemingly overnight, these two issues have become hotly debated topics in America flooding social media feeds and making headline news, even transcending party lines with left, right, middle, all up in arms about these cameras and data centers. Now has this happened because the general public is suddenly aware of the technocracy behind it or the threat that it poses to their freedom? No, unfortunately not. I think the reason's much simpler.
• 0:55
I think it's because these things started affecting average, everyday Americans. The middle class family living in the suburbs of Columbus, Ohio that suddenly realized that their electric bill was going up month after month. 15% more, 50% more, 140% more. Why is this happening? Oh, it's those new giant data centers.
• 1:15
The grandparents living in a small rural town in Texas that started noticing that the noise at night, that quiet evening that was once filled with the chorus frogs and crickets was now filled with something else. This mechanical unsettling of the new data center that was built half a mile away. Sure, were happy for their farming neighbors that sold 200 acres for 7 figures. What they didn't realize though was that that multi million dollar sale wasn't just for that Smith's family's land. The sale was also for the nighttime peace of the entire community.
• 1:47
And so once this started happening to enough people across nation, people started speaking out. So seemingly out of nowhere crowds were showing up at city council planning meetings to oppose new data center construction. But then you have the flock cameras. So the Jacksons noticed the black Poland camera that appeared overnight at their local playground had some strange things about it. The license plate reader wasn't pointed or near even a busy road.
• 2:12
It was looking right at the playground, at the kids playing, and that got them asking questions. Sam was pulled over at gunpoint by a squad of seven officers because he'd supposedly stolen the car that he was driving. Never mind that he'd bought it two years ago and that he had a copy of the title with his name on it in the glove box. The department later apologized and said that a flock camera had incorrectly identified his vehicle as stolen so that got him asking questions. And now Tiffany thought she'd finally rid herself of this abusive relationship with her ex husband, but then she noticed him appearing in the public places that she visited watching her at the local park, walking in the same bar where she was having drinks with a friend.
• 2:51
She started freaking out she couldn't make sense of it until one morning she saw a local news headline on Her ex husband was a police officer and he'd just been caught using flock cameras to track the locations of people that he was stalking. It made her sick to her stomach and then she started asking questions. So the names in these stories are just placeholders, but these stories are real and there's a lot of them. Data centers and flock cameras have made national headlines because enough Americans started speaking out about how this technology was negatively affecting their lives. They started asking questions.
• 3:24
But there's one question that very few have thought to ask: why the sudden, almost frantic push for data centers and flock cameras in the first place? Why the executive orders designed to make data centers as untouchable as possible by the will of the people? The massive taxpayer funded contracts with a multi billion dollar surveillance company whose entire business model was built on surveilling every single American in the country? Well, getting the correct answers starts with asking the correct questions. But the answer to this question is extremely complex and spans nearly one hundred years and involves some of the most wealthy and powerful people in the world.
• 4:04
So in this show, I'm going to do my best to explain that why in the simplest and most honest way that I can. Now you might disagree with my answer and that's fine, but you might be frightened by it and I'd say that's actually a pretty healthy first step. Just let your next step be learning to channel that fear or that anger into something that can stop this plan and into making yourself and your family more resilient and better protected from it. Okay. Buckle up.
• 4:29
Welcome to Man in America, a voice of reason in a world gone mad. I'm your host, Seth Hullhouse. So this is kind of a special episode where I'm gonna attempt to tackle this incredibly complex issue and hopefully make it easier for you to understand because it's very, very important. The answer to our question of why this sudden acceleration starts with one word, technocracy. What's that?
• 5:03
Well, let's try to make it simple. Technocracy is a system of governance where society is run by engineers, scientists, and tech experts, not by the people or the representatives. Its original form, it proposed getting rid of our price based economy and replacing it with one where unelected experts control the production and distribution of all resources, and where every citizen's consumption is measured, allocated, and monitored. So think about this. Imagine one brand of car owned by the government with a price that's set by the government.
• 5:37
No other brands of cars. Right? But you couldn't buy this car. You could only exchange your energy credits or your tokens for access to use it. Now imagine that same scenario for homes, tools, food, clothes, medicine.
• 5:52
Do you really own that movie you bought on Apple TV? No. You own a license to access it, and they can revoke that license at will. So, in this system there's no voting, there's no property rights, there's no ownership. It's just a terms of service agreement all managed and controlled top to bottom by people who believe that they know how to run your life better than you.
• 6:16
And here's the fatal flaw at the heart of it. It's a question that no algorithm can answer, no AI can answer. Who decides what is fair, what's just or what's legal or moral? Because technology doesn't create values, people do. An algorithm can optimize traffic or track energy token allocation, but someone upstream already decided what counts as success and which trade offs are acceptable.
• 6:43
So do you think it's an accident that your AI chatbot won't answer certain questions? Those decisions aren't technical. They're moral, which means that technocracy doesn't eliminate rulers. It hides them behind a machine. It allows them to decide what is moral for the entire nation.
• 7:01
I recently interviewed Patrick Wood, an author who's studied technocracy for decades and runs the website Technocracy News. It's actually a really good resource I've used for years on my own research. So this interview is one of those genuinely conversations for me where a dozen topics I knew were related all clicked together at once. And what follows is my takeaway. This ideology of technocracy isn't even close to new.
• 7:25
It's nearly a century old. Technocracy was born at Columbia University in 1932 when a group of scientists and engineers decided that they could run society better than markets or property or elected government officials ever could. And that decision was almost certainly funded and directed by a small group of very powerful people. So as Wood put it, it is the, quote, only economic system in the world that's been created from scratch, and they nearly pulled it off. One prominent technocrat wrote a book arguing in Wood's words that, quote, FDR should declare himself dictator, dismiss congress, and appoint technocrats top to bottom to run the country.
• 8:03
So they even drafted an org chart for governing North America with a continental director at the top, not a president, a director. Now I have to ask, and just being honest, like, could this be a role that they'd want Trump or Vance to fill? I'm not sure. I'm not accusing anyone. I'm just asking a sober question.
• 8:21
They also drew a map. The 1934 Technocracy study course shows what they called the North American Technate. It's a single managed territory combining The United States, Canada, Greenland, Mexico, Central America, and the Northern Tip of South America including Venezuela. Now, think about which territories have suddenly been in the headlines since January 2025: Greenland, Canada, Panama, Venezuela. And one footnote that might be worth bookmarking: Elon Musk's grandfather was a leader of the technocracy movement in Canada.
• 8:53
Now, FDR declined the dictatorship, so Americans got wind of the plan and as Wood put it, they basically ran them out of town. But the idea didn't die. In 1973, Zbigniew Brzezinski and David Rockefeller founded the Trilateral Commission to create a new international economic order. There is only ever one new economic system on the shelf. Brzezinski even named the destination coming calling it a Technotronic Era arriving roughly fifty years out.
• 9:21
So, fifty years out from 1973. Do the math on that one. Now, what's that destination look like? So, here is a direct quote from Buzinski in his book Between America's Role in the Technotronic Era which he wrote in 1970. The Technotronic Era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society.
• 9:43
Such a society would be dominated by an elite unrestrained by traditional values. Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up to date complete files containing even the most personal information about the citizen. These files will be subject to the instantaneous retrieval by the authorities. He wrote that around fifty six years ago. So, is that plan still active?
• 10:09
How has it evolved if it is? Well, here's where we enter Silicon Valley. Here's the uncomfortable truth. A very large portion of the modern technology in our society was not created by private companies led by these genius billionaire entrepreneurs. It was created by private companies acting as fronts for the DoD, the military, and the intelligence agencies.
• 10:34
So in various ways these private companies were created, funded, and run by our own government that controlled them tightly. The Internet itself was invented by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, which is DARPA. Right? So, DARPA basically created the Internet. The first version was called ARPANET.
• 10:54
Google's search engine was funded by DARPA and NASA while it was still a Stanford research project. Larry Ellison built the database technology that became Oracle for the CIA. The project's code name under the CIA was literally Oracle. Palantir, which is now basically the technological backbone of our government, was seeded by In Q Tel, the CIA's own venture capital arm. And in February 2004, DARPA shut down a project called LifeLog.
• 11:23
Now LifeLog's goal was to build a digital record of everything a person does, everywhere they go, and everyone they know. So they shut it down and Facebook was launched the very same day. The iPhone, literally the most popular phone in the world, is basically a bundle of government funded technology. For goodness sakes, Siri started out as a DARPA AI project. Now think of how significant these companies and this technology is globally.
• 11:53
The Internet, Facebook, Google, Oracle, Palantir. Isn't it strange that all these companies at the very beginning were funded by either the CIA, DARPA, or NASA? Yet, we're all made to believe that they were this magical creation of some college aged tech genius in his dorm room that's now turned into a billionaire. Now why does this government and private company arrangement matter to us? Because the government is bound by the constitution.
• 12:21
The it it cannot legally build a dossier on every American, track their records, read their communications, or map their relationship. Like, Congress would never approve it. The courts would strike it down. But a private company can do all of that. Not just that, we hand over the data voluntarily, one terms of service agreement at a time, Because the controllers knew that the constitution would get in the way of them building a digital control grid for American citizens, so they did it through private companies and universities instead.
• 12:52
It's like a wolf slipping on the sheep's clothing and turning back to the flock and saying, don't worry, I won't harm you. I'm a sheep. Now, want be careful because I'm recording this show on that very technology and you're probably watching it on a phone or a laptop. So if the technology, though, if it wasn't beneficial, it would never be adopted. So it had to be beneficial and help us.
• 13:14
So with it, we can video call our family across the globe. I can write an article or publish a show that reaches, you know, thousands and thousands of people within a few days. So, of course, the technology has added real benefits to our lives. I'm not here to argue that, but the benefits don't change something's fundamental nature. And that is this, that much of this infrastructure was built from the very beginning for one central purpose, to push technology into every corner of American life that could one day be used to monitor, predict, and control an entire population, to build a digital prison for a nation's own citizens.
• 13:55
And for decades, that's all it was. It's just infrastructure quietly accumulating, and not just in America, around the world. So what changed recently? Well, Wood used an analogy in our conversation that really stuck with me. Let's say you're driving down a street that you've driven a 100 times, and one day, there's this multistory building that's suddenly shooting up out of the ground.
• 14:17
Well, where'd it come from? But you know how construction works. That building represents years of invisible work, permits, engineering, architecture, investors. But by the time you see the steel going up, the plan for that building is already potentially many years old. So Patrick said, quote, there's been a slow building of all the necessary elements, and all of a sudden, technocracy is being erected on us.
• 14:41
Patrick would watch what happened around Trump's second term through that lens. The same Silicon Valley billionaires who spent years censoring and attacking conservatives, attacking you and I, they suddenly pivoted hard. Secret fundraising dinners, hundreds of millions in donations, front row seats at the inauguration. And on literally the first full day of the new administration, there was president Trump on stage with Sam Altman from OpenAI and Larry Ellison from Oracle announcing project Stargate, a $500,000,000,000 data center build out. Now Wood doesn't see these men as individuals who just happened to change their minds.
• 15:18
He said they operated as a pack, a pack of wolves perhaps. They were predatory. So it wasn't just Musk and Doge. It was David Sachs as AI czar, Howard Lutnick at Commerce, and a bench of PayPal mafia alumni threaded throughout the entire administration. So these men have no political home.
• 15:36
They attach themselves to whoever will let them build. And in Wood's blunt assessment, Trump has, quote, emerged now as the technocrat in chief. Now I wanna give you a concrete example of how this pack operates. Let's look at what happened with digital currency. So Trump signed an executive order banning the Federal Reserve from pursuing a central bank digital currency, and everyone cheered, finally, someone stopped the CBC.
• 16:00
Except that's not what really happened. What actually happened is that the Fed was just shoved aside and a privatized digital currency system was erected in its place, controlled not by a public institution with at least some nominal accountability, but by a handful of private hands. Whose private hands? Well, let's follow the names. Tether, the largest stablecoin on the planet, keeps its billions in the treasury reserves at Cantor Fitzgerald, the firm that Howard Lutnick ran until he became Trump's commerce secretary.
• 16:30
His sons now run it. Circle, the second largest, has its reserves managed by BlackRock, you know, run by Larry Fink, the guy who promises that everything will be tokenized. And then World Liberty Financial, which is the Trump's own crypto venture, now issues its own stablecoin under this very law that the administration signed. So the digital dollar wasn't stopped. It was privatized, and the men who privatized it kept the keys.
• 16:55
And this new financial plumbing exists to enable the real prize, tokenization. So Larry Fink, the head of BlackRock said it openly. He said, anything that can be tokenized will be tokenized. But what's that mean though? What's tokenization?
• 17:10
Here's a simple version. During the interview with Wood, I held up this 10 ounce bar of silver. Right? So right now, this bar is mine in the oldest sense of the word. I'm holding it in my hand.
• 17:21
I can take it and give it to a local farmer in exchange for 10 pounds of ground beef. And no government, no bank, or no algorithm has any say in the matter or even any record of it. Tokenization replaces that kind of ownership with the digital representation of the asset aka a token that lives in software. And tokens are programmable, which means that an algorithm or some tech guy can program how you're allowed to use your tokens. So the tokens that represent your money can be blocked from buying a plane ticket or some extra steak at the grocery store.
• 17:54
The token that represents your house can be revoked based on your behavior, your carbon footprint, or even your politics. BlackRock has already tokenized huge portfolios of the American homes it bought up after 2008. You don't own things in that system. You hold a revocable license to use them. The World Economic Forum told us this plainly.
• 18:14
They said, you will own nothing and you will be happy. And that wasn't just a slogan. Wood said, that wasn't just rhetoric. They meant it. His word for where it all leads is the right one.
• 18:26
It's a digital gulag, not built by seizing your property at gunpoint, but by quietly removing your options until the tokenized version is the only version left. Brzezinski summed it up really nicely in his 1970 book. He said, it involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled and directed society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite whose claim to political power would rest allegedly on superior scientific know how. Unhindered by the restraints of traditional liberal values, this elite would not hesitate to achieve its political ends by using the latest modern techniques for influencing public behavior and keeping society under close surveillance and control.
• 19:08
That was 1970. So, do the flock cameras make sense? The data centers? Now, at this point, maybe you're asking, Okay, so where is this now heading? Like, what's the end state?
• 19:21
So for that, you need to meet the philosophy that these men actually follow because they've told us this answer in writing. Do you remember when Elon Musk walked on stage in his black hat and declared himself of not just MAGA, but dark MAGA? Now almost nobody knew exactly who's referencing. He was referencing the dark enlightenment, a philosophy developed by a blogger and software engineer named Curtis Yarvin and supported from the beginning by Peter Thiel who's literally called Yarvin his house philosopher. What about Musk?
• 19:49
Musk consulted with Yarvin on the creation of a third political party they wanted to call the America party. Yarvin even gave Elon the blueprint for Doge. So Yarvin is central to the technocratic agenda, and here's what his dark enlightenment actually proposes. First, dissolve the constitutional republic. Democracy in this view is a failed experiment.
• 20:13
Second, replace it with a monarchy, not a metaphorical one, an actual sovereign executive unbound by Congress, courts, or elections, running the country like a Silicon Valley startup. Third, transfer the nation's property into a sovereign corporation also known as a Sov Corp, managed by technocrats on behalf of the public good as they define it. If that sounds like a fever dream, notice something. It's almost word for word in the 1933 plan. The Monarch is the Continental Director.
• 20:43
The Sovereign Corporation is the Technate. The org chart already exists. It's 90 years old. Look at this. As Wood said, this is the same exact playbook that they're putting on us today.
• 20:53
Now, what becomes of ordinary people in this system once AI has taken most of our jobs as they're telling us will happen? So Yarvin addressed that question directly in a 2008 essay in a passage that he framed as a thought experiment. Now I'm gonna quote it because you wouldn't believe me otherwise. He says, quote, our goal in short is a humane alternative to genocide. The ideal solution achieves the same result as mass murder, which is the removal of undesirable elements from society but without any of the moral stigma.
• 21:25
His solution is to virtualize the useless to seal them in cells wired into what he calls an immense virtual reality interface where they can experience what he says, a rich fulfilling life in a completely imaginary world. And this is the matrix offered as a policy proposal by the house philosopher of the men now basically running our government's entire technological infrastructure. Now Wood's response to this was unsparing. He said, these people are gonna end up being the killers of the century. Now there's one more concept that you need to understand and explains this dizzying speed of all this.
• 22:05
It's called accelerationism. You'll find it in Marc Andreessen's Techno Optimist Manifesto. The idea is to build and advance so fast that no Congress, no court, no regulator, no town hall meeting can possibly keep up. Accelerate until the old system breaks. That's what it is.
• 22:24
So now we can answer the question we started with about data centers and flock cameras. The data centers are the brain. You can't run a society by algorithm without somewhere to run all the algorithms. And managing the tokenized behavior of 340,000,000 people requires computing infrastructure on a scale that's never been built before. That's why the executive orders.
• 22:46
That's why the $500,000,000,000 investment. That's why all the money into the AI bubble. That's why the jump in your electric bill. The flock cameras are the eyes. And it's not just flock, it's multiple companies racing to get their cameras up.
• 22:59
A programmable society requires knowing where every person and every vehicle is at all times. That's why the license plate reader is pointing at the playground. The tokenized dollar is the bloodstream, control what people can buy and access, and you control what people can do what they're not allowed to do. None of these things is an isolated annoyance, they are organs of a single body. The building that Wood described is going up right now in real time on your street and the permits were filed before most of us were even born.
• 23:28
We're not drifting toward technocracy. I honestly believe that we're undergoing a technocratic coup that began in 1932. And trust me, I pray to God that I'm wrong. Now, if you've made it this far, you might be feeling that fear I mentioned at the beginning. Good.
• 23:46
It's not a bad thing. Channel it. Because here's the thing that technocrats can't engineer around is that this plan only works on a population that doesn't see it before it's too late. So think local, not federal. The fight is at your city council, your city commission, your state house, even your own neighborhood, not in Washington DC.
• 24:05
The large crowds showing up at planning meetings to stop data centers, like that's the model and it's working. Wood even drafted a digital bill of rights, is available on his website, I'll link it in the show description, that's designed for state legislators. It's a legal safety net to insulate individuals from this system even where you can't tear the cameras down. Print it, bring it to the elected people that you elected. Get loud while it's cheap.
• 24:27
Data centers and flock cameras are mainstream conversations right now. Lean into that momentum. The goal is for the word technocracy to be discussed at the average American dinner table because these plans have a very difficult time surviving daylight. And honestly, that's precisely why I'm doing this show. It's also why I hope that you can share it.
• 24:45
Also, starve the system wherever you can. Use cash. Tell people why. You know, Wood was saying that he hands cash to servers every time he eats out as their tip, and he says you'd be surprised at how quickly people get the idea. Drive the old car that you can fix with your own two hands instead of the new one that records your conversations.
• 25:02
Buy the silver bar. Buy from the farmer. Ditch your smart tech. Now I'm not saying get rid of all your technology and move to some cabin in the woods, though the idea is kind of attractive. Start with the tech that's the most infected with this system.
• 25:15
New smart cars that monitor the driver and can be remotely shut off, wearable devices that always track your location, your heart rate, and a lot more, ring cameras that feed directly into this beast system. And if you're really brave, ditch your smartphone for an old school flip phone, build resilience, Build community. Grow food. Learn the skills that your grandparents had. Know your neighbors and know where your dinner comes from.
• 25:38
Now if you're smack dab in the middle of a big city with 600 cameras all around you, your options are more thin. If you're out in a rural area or some far suburb with a real local community around you, every one of those relationships is a layer of protection this system can't easily penetrate. But if you're in that big city, make some friends in the country, honestly, and map out a quick way to get out of the city if you need to. And here's another key, refuse the black pill. The technocrats want you to believe that this is all inevitable, but it isn't.
• 26:07
Their AI investments are losing money. Younger generations, are historically the first adopters of any new technology, are actively resisting this one. They hate AI, and they even sabotage it in their workplaces. Wood pointed to industry estimates that as much as 40% of the current data center capacity may ultimately fail. They have weaknesses, he said.
• 26:28
They're just men after all. And one last thing, this is the rare issue that can genuinely unite our divided country. Walk up to your average person with blue hair and a Natifa shirt on and ask if they're worried about Peter Thiel and government surveillance. They'll probably buy you a coffee. The libertarians are already in.
• 26:45
The left is coming around a lot of this stuff. The right's coming around the truth about these billionaires that they trusted. Nobody anywhere on the spectrum voted for a monarch. We didn't sign a consent form for any of this. And as Wood said in the final minutes of our conversation, we're the only ones who can be in charge of our own future.
• 27:02
He said, quote, resist however you can. Resist the system and don't let it consume you. Now there's one last thing, it's personal. So everything that you just read is exactly why I'm building The For those of you who don't know what it is, The Arc is a private online community. I wanted to create something extremely private, a place where people could unite around these beliefs and genuinely support each other outside the reach of the algorithms and data brokers.
• 27:27
But my honest biggest goal is this, to use an online platform to build the strongest local networks of freedom loving people possible as quickly as possible. Because I believe that there may come a time, and I hope it's many years away, when we completely lose our privacy and lose the ability to find each other through the Internet at all. So if the Ark is ever taken down and we're doing everything possible to prevent that from happening, I want the networks and the communities that it helped build around the world to be so strong that they withstand it and go on to build even stronger local communities without us. And these communities are not about fighting or resisting, they're about preserving. Because when communities splinter, critical things are lost, shared culture, relationships, dependability.
• 28:15
So we see it as our mission to build an arc that can carry the best of human culture into the future no matter how intense the storms get. Integrity, self reliance, freedom, virtue, faith, the appreciation of beauty. And you can't forget knowledge, the knowledge of how to live off your land, how to preserve food, how to build strong local networks, how to protect yourself and your family. The more people in these communities that have this kind of knowledge, the stronger they're gonna be. So that's why the ARC also has an online academy for preparedness, survival guides for every disaster imaginable, and live q and a's and roundtables with leading experts from health to permaculture.
• 28:51
It has food and gardening tools. It has a planting almanac calendar, local foraging guides, water and food storage calculators, and a whole lot more. So the ARC is launching very soon, and nearly 15,000 people are already on that wait list. Now the list is still open. So if you wanna join that wait list, just go to buildthearc.com and be among the builders, the core members who are at the very beginning.
• 29:12
Now despite everything I've said so far, I want you to know that I'm honestly optimistic, not because the threat is small, but because there are a lot of really good people in America. Regardless of what this system wants you to think, there are a lot of Americans with strong faith in God and the heart to truly help out a neighbor in need. They didn't vote for this. They weren't ignoring this in the past because they were apathetic, it's because they didn't know about it. It's because the system went through great lengths to hide itself.
• 29:40
But now the masses are starting to see it and they are full of righteous indignation. And fundamentally, they know that God's on their side. In the end, civilizations aren't remembered for the technologies that they invented. They're remembered for the values they chose to preserve. So please share this with anybody you think would benefit from seeing this information.
• 30:02
It's really important that we get more Americans aware of this agenda. And if you wanna go sign up again on the to join the wait list for the ARC, just go to buildthearc.com I'll make sure that link is in the description below There we go, thank you and God bless
