A heartbreaking Fourth of July tragedy unfolded in McPherson County when 43-year-old Julie Goucher died in a two-vehicle crash on 14th Avenue around 6:28 PM. The collision involved a silver car turning left into a private drive and a gray SUV approaching from the opposite direction. Julie, a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the silver car was hospitalized. The gray SUV’s driver was also taken to the hospital.
