[SPEAKER_00]: One, two, one, two, it's Donny Wittkins on the mic.
0:04
[SPEAKER_00]: What do you do with it, dude?
0:05
[SPEAKER_00]: Yo, Dave, did you see that video with T.I.N.
0:07
[SPEAKER_00]: and a son?
0:08
[SPEAKER_00]: They bought to take the crown.
0:09
[SPEAKER_00]: They already won.
0:10
[SPEAKER_00]: They're going freestyle.
0:12
[SPEAKER_00]: Bar for bar.
0:13
[SPEAKER_00]: They had killer Mike and T.I.
0:15
[SPEAKER_00]: going bar for bar.
0:16
[SPEAKER_00]: The money's jargon is out of this world.
0:19
[SPEAKER_00]: He about to take everybody little girl.
0:21
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
0:25
[SPEAKER_00]: They're on a run right now, that's so... Yeah, that's cool.
0:28
[SPEAKER_01]: That's beautiful too.
0:29
[SPEAKER_01]: It's the money is like a really cool kid.
0:32
[SPEAKER_01]: You feel me.
0:33
[SPEAKER_01]: He's not a kid anymore, but he's like, he's cool.
0:35
[SPEAKER_01]: Not the other one.
0:36
[SPEAKER_01]: He'd be doing a lot.
0:37
[SPEAKER_01]: He'd be doing a lot.
0:38
[SPEAKER_01]: He'd be doing a lot.
0:39
[SPEAKER_01]: But the money, I like him as a person.
0:42
[SPEAKER_01]: He just super cool.
0:43
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know him, but yeah, he's dope.
0:45
[SPEAKER_01]: He's dope.
0:45
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
0:47
[SPEAKER_00]: I like him a lot.
0:48
[SPEAKER_00]: I saw a video this morning.
0:50
[SPEAKER_00]: I think I sent it to you on Instagram, where TI, Demoni and Killer Mike are in a freestyle, like battle.
0:59
[SPEAKER_00]: Demoni held his own.
1:01
[SPEAKER_00]: And when TI, I came after him.
1:04
[SPEAKER_00]: And when TI came, like you could just see how proud of his son,
1:08
[SPEAKER_00]: He was, I think he even said something like, come on, sign, go sign.
1:12
[SPEAKER_00]: And just imagine having those kind of moments, your son, not just following in your footsteps.
1:17
[SPEAKER_00]: Because you know, your kids will follow in your footsteps or try to, and they're not as good, right?
1:22
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, these music industry kids sometimes, like, be like, let your mom have that, let your dad have that.
1:29
[SPEAKER_00]: But T.I.'
1:29
[SPEAKER_00]: 's whole family is just T.I.
1:31
[SPEAKER_00]: and T.I.
1:32
[SPEAKER_00]: and T.I.
1:32
[SPEAKER_00]: And T.I.
1:32
[SPEAKER_00]: and T.I.
1:33
[SPEAKER_00]: and T.I.
1:33
[SPEAKER_00]: and T.I.
1:33
[SPEAKER_00]: Family is just so incredibly talented
1:37
[SPEAKER_00]: These young men have bars for bars for bars.
1:40
[SPEAKER_00]: They're on instruments.
1:41
[SPEAKER_00]: They're on songs.
1:42
[SPEAKER_00]: They're doing all the things.
1:43
[SPEAKER_00]: And I just shout out the TI.
1:45
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, shout out the TI for sure.
1:47
[SPEAKER_01]: I love what they're doing.
1:50
[SPEAKER_01]: TI is incredibly talented.
1:53
[SPEAKER_01]: I love this mute.
1:54
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, like, sometimes you're great in the 90s, in early 2000s, and then you come out with some music, and like, you lost it.
2:02
[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
2:03
[SPEAKER_01]: But TI has been consistently great.
2:06
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
2:06
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, this year, this past two years, he's completely reinvented himself when he cut his hair and put the hat back on.
2:15
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
2:16
[SPEAKER_01]: That's your hat, too.
2:17
[SPEAKER_00]: He did that's your hat, so it like things that like I would argue that he is like he didn't skip a beat.
2:24
[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's he put out music that we didn't have to adjust to like when he put out his newest music,
2:33
[SPEAKER_00]: It's shut every song in the industry that like his song is the song.
2:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Brother, yeah, over and over is being played and everything.
2:40
[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody's reals to play in that song.
2:43
[SPEAKER_01]: Now yeah, congratulations to them.
2:45
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
2:45
[SPEAKER_01]: One thing I want to talk about, especially since it's happening this week in best best.
2:53
[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know that
2:57
[SPEAKER_01]: I heard a perspective on the whole thing, the breakfast club, so on the breakfast club, they ask a question and they're like, Atlanta doesn't give a support.
3:10
[SPEAKER_01]: From a governmental or city perspective, right?
3:17
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think people took that as,
3:21
[SPEAKER_01]: like the whole thing, they went up, it feels like you went up to New York and talk about Atlanta, and it was just a question in a game to answer, right?
3:29
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, what I'm seeing now though is,
3:36
[SPEAKER_01]: The mayor is on a tear right now.
3:39
[SPEAKER_01]: Like he is, he just went on a podcast, like get his podcast.
3:43
[SPEAKER_01]: And he started, he was talking about on the podcast.
3:45
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my, that was interesting to me.
3:48
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
3:48
[SPEAKER_01]: That was interesting.
3:49
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
3:51
[SPEAKER_00]: The whole situation has been interesting to me.
3:53
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
3:55
[SPEAKER_00]: I, for ever I love Atlanta, you know, I'm originally born in New Orleans, but I grew up in most of my development was here in New Orleans in Atlanta.
4:02
[SPEAKER_00]: So I actually claim them both.
4:04
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care if y'all mad about that.
4:05
[SPEAKER_00]: I claim them both.
4:06
[SPEAKER_00]: All right, Falcons and Saints.
4:09
[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, um, I thought it was interesting.
4:14
[SPEAKER_00]: I would like what I have not heard is what the original question was when the response was Atlanta hasn't shown any love or given any support.
4:25
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what the original question was.
4:27
[SPEAKER_00]: So was that response in context to the original question or was it like a let me get this off my chest?
4:33
[SPEAKER_01]: Give me a scenario.
4:35
[SPEAKER_01]: Give me a question that was, I'm not afraid of that, but.
4:41
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, they're just saying that they don't support, right, first of Atlanta don't support podcast of it, okay?
4:47
[SPEAKER_01]: The people do, but what they don't know is though, you know, these little 2000 people, they don't really care about that.
4:53
[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, if that's the fact, and because of, if you bring that many people to a city in the city benefits, I think it deserves a conversation,
5:11
[SPEAKER_01]: that has people talking the most.
5:15
[SPEAKER_01]: People that aren't even from Atlanta that are talking about that specific clip.
5:20
[SPEAKER_01]: And then a couple of days ago, they made a post that says that this is the highest attendees that they've had so far.
5:30
[SPEAKER_00]: I saw that.
5:31
[SPEAKER_01]: So the reason I'm bringing this up isn't about like who's right, it was wrong.
5:36
[SPEAKER_01]: But first, I'm like, because it's starting to take steam, I'm like, dang, I feel going to support David.
5:43
[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going to take that, it's working.
5:48
[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that people, the people who were going to support the event are going to support the event.
5:54
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think what's happened in that exchange is going to make people who had already planned to support the event, not support the event.
6:16
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll just say I wish that that conversation would have happened privately from what I saw with what the mayor said was that there was never even a conversation and he said I welcome the conversation.
6:31
[SPEAKER_00]: I have great conversations with organizers who bring things to the city all the time.
6:36
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what's fact and what's not.
6:38
[SPEAKER_00]: I just know that I wish that conversation were private because it's a shame to put
6:46
[SPEAKER_00]: negative attention on something that's intended to do well.
6:51
[SPEAKER_01]: It's both things.
6:52
[SPEAKER_01]: Two years ago, I remember it being an exchange.
6:56
[SPEAKER_01]: It was the two or three or probably two years ago.
6:58
[SPEAKER_01]: There was a back and forth about investments in the mayor.
7:05
[SPEAKER_01]: I remember it.
7:06
[SPEAKER_01]: I remember it.
7:09
[SPEAKER_01]: they said something a little more direct.
7:12
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think they replied, and I thought they had a conversation, because I remember talking about it.
7:17
[SPEAKER_01]: But the point in this conversation is, I think what happened is, because of that interview, and that response, there are people up in arms.
7:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Every podcast is talking about it, every radio station for sure is talking about it, because that's to do with the radios and things that I nature.
7:35
[SPEAKER_01]: Every radio station I land has talking
7:38
[SPEAKER_01]: I think what happened was, I'm for sure there are some people that maybe we're going to go, but then they took the narrative of someone saying, oh, they're saying the people in it on support.
7:51
[SPEAKER_01]: And they said, you know what?
7:52
[SPEAKER_01]: If they're saying that, I'm not going.
7:55
[SPEAKER_01]: But I think because of how big the conversation was, there was so many people as I'm watching on threats, I said, what's in that's fast?
8:03
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I haven't.
8:04
[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't.
8:05
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry.
8:06
[SPEAKER_01]: And then when you go to the website, you see, Serena Williams is gonna be there.
8:11
[SPEAKER_01]: You see Nick Cannon.
8:12
[SPEAKER_01]: You see Donnie Wiggins is gonna be there.
8:14
[SPEAKER_01]: You see David Chan is gonna be there.
8:15
[SPEAKER_01]: You know?
8:18
[SPEAKER_01]: I got exposed to it through this seemingly messy situation.
8:23
[SPEAKER_01]: But then when you go see what it is, you have to look at that and be like, whoa, they're gonna be bad.
8:31
[SPEAKER_01]: So that's double.
8:32
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, I would love if they released like the data the actual data that said since that comment was made
8:40
[SPEAKER_00]: and all of this started here's how many more ticket sales because they're down to the wire now.
8:45
[SPEAKER_00]: When this comment was made, they were also down to the wire.
8:47
[SPEAKER_00]: So I would love if they released that data.
8:49
[SPEAKER_00]: I did see that they said, we've so more tickets this year than any other year, but was that before, was that what happened?
8:57
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, I heard somewhere that's like 30 something or 40 something thousand people does expect it to attend the event.
9:06
[SPEAKER_00]: Did you guys know that?
9:07
[SPEAKER_00]: No, no.
9:08
[SPEAKER_00]: I saw on the poll.
9:08
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
9:09
[SPEAKER_00]: I just saw, I saw it on Instagram.
9:12
[SPEAKER_00]: I saw it on Instagram.
9:13
[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think they said that number.
9:15
[SPEAKER_00]: They just said we have so more tickets than we've sold before.
9:20
[SPEAKER_00]: I would love for them to show the data since they said that part.
9:25
[SPEAKER_00]: For them to show the data of, hey, listen, we said this may have been right, may have been wrong.
9:29
[SPEAKER_00]: But as a result, here's a teaching moment.
9:32
[SPEAKER_00]: This is how many more tickets we sold after this event started.
9:36
[SPEAKER_01]: Here's my question to you.
9:39
[SPEAKER_01]: Is all publicity good publicity?
9:41
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not positive.
9:43
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we have seen people take hits for years, right?
9:49
[SPEAKER_00]: If you had the, but then they come back, like nothing happened.
9:52
[SPEAKER_00]: If you have the ability to sustain a hit and you come back like nothing happened or come back even more on top, sure.
10:01
[SPEAKER_00]: But if you don't have the ability to sustain a hit, some publicity might not be great for you.
10:06
[SPEAKER_01]: And what is the ability to sustain?
10:09
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it depends on what negative publicity can do for you.
10:12
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it does do for you.
10:14
[SPEAKER_00]: So if it tarnishes your, um, if it tarnishes your,
10:19
[SPEAKER_00]: image in your industry and your image is important to your industry, like that's really hard to rebuild, right?
10:26
[SPEAKER_00]: Can you do you have enough trust equity built up to still sustain if it Tarnishes your finances?
10:36
[SPEAKER_00]: Do you have enough money to stack up to be able to sustain so I think
10:41
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's different.
10:42
[SPEAKER_00]: I have heard the saying for years that all publicity is good publicity, in the day and age of social media where we've seen people literally lose their jobs and things over some public moments that have been viral, I don't know that that's true anymore.
10:59
[SPEAKER_00]: But I do believe that if you are intelligent and you have a brand and if you are actually doing the thing that you were doing That you have an ability to bounce back.
11:09
[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like I think even a little bit what you said is going to be based on your historical track record or the things that you put out
11:19
[SPEAKER_01]: If you've been doing major, like Keith Lee has been doing some amazing things for restaurants and like changing their laws and packing them out the next day after after he posted post.
11:32
[SPEAKER_01]: And he got some backlight.
11:33
[SPEAKER_01]: I forgot what it was for, but there are people that are attacking Keith Lee for something that happened.
11:39
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's really hard to take down Keith Lee based on the track record of people that he had.
11:44
[SPEAKER_01]: If he did something that this audience of people don't like, and you know, there's always, it's always popular to join, to throw, throw stones at whoever's throwing stones.
11:56
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure, bro, that was no, there are people who didn't know who Jesus was.
12:02
[SPEAKER_01]: but they see all these people saying, yo, that guy's blasphemy, he do see, think he is talking like he's got it, and they're like, I mean, is that what he did?
12:13
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's popular at throw stones, even even for someone that maybe came across Jesus, right?
12:20
[SPEAKER_01]: And he healed them, we're getting some motivational words.
12:23
[SPEAKER_01]: It's really hard when the whole Coliseum or you're like, or it's even a dinner party with six or seven people that are throwing stones.
12:33
[SPEAKER_01]: It's hard to be like, I mean, well, you did, I mean, it'll make me feel great.
12:36
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't know about it.
12:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's just hard to say, you tell me, but I think your track record, the bigger your track record is.
12:45
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a rational social media, the easier it is to get over these periods of backlash, and then we got to understand that typically backlash is a period of time that people forget about it and make it all up with their lives.
12:59
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and in addition to your track record, historically, is your present moment response to these situations.
13:05
[SPEAKER_00]: I think that the way that people respond to certain situations or don't respond to certain situations also sustains them.
13:14
[SPEAKER_00]: I immediately like Tyler Perry came up.
13:18
[SPEAKER_00]: He's got backlash after backlash after backlash.
13:21
[SPEAKER_00]: lawsuit after lawsuit, a legend, all kinds of crazy things.
13:26
[SPEAKER_00]: Monique told her story and people took their size.
13:32
[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't, I don't recall him ever having a direct response to this, right?
13:38
[SPEAKER_00]: And so then it leaves this thought of, well, is it like he didn't even respond?
13:43
[SPEAKER_00]: If he thought that this were, you know, if he responded recklessly, it probably would have done more damage.
13:49
[SPEAKER_00]: Then whatever fallout he's had, but he still put now new show after new show.
13:54
[SPEAKER_00]: He's still making investment after investment.
13:56
[SPEAKER_00]: He's still announcing business after business and partnership after partnership.
14:02
[SPEAKER_00]: didn't respond.
14:04
[SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
14:05
[SPEAKER_00]: Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce, Beyonce is not responding.
14:09
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
14:09
[SPEAKER_00]: All kinds of accusations about her and her family.
14:12
[SPEAKER_00]: Jay-Ze, not responding, right?
14:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Jay-Ze, Jay-Ze, Jay-Ze.
14:17
[SPEAKER_00]: He's been a little responsive lately, right?
14:20
[SPEAKER_00]: But historically, no response.
14:23
[SPEAKER_00]: You're not getting Beyonce responds in her song.
14:25
[SPEAKER_00]: like she'll say something in her song, but not direct enough, and then it's like fly.
14:30
[SPEAKER_00]: Oprah Winfrey doesn't really respond.
14:33
[SPEAKER_00]: There are so many other people who just don't say anything, and it is, it kind of blows over.
14:43
[SPEAKER_01]: It will always blow over, unless you're unless this is a revealing of your character, based on things you keep doing moving forward.
14:56
[SPEAKER_01]: That's when it doesn't blow over.
14:57
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, some of them that I named have had repeat accusations over and over that could definitely ink their character.
15:03
[SPEAKER_00]: For example, um, like Tyler Perry is consistently being sued by cast members.
15:10
[SPEAKER_01]: But that's right.
15:12
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no, it's not.
15:13
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, but it's is a repeat occurrence.
15:15
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
15:16
[SPEAKER_00]: but it hasn't stopped him.
15:18
[SPEAKER_00]: They have consistently said that Beyonce and Jay-Z are in the illuminati.
15:24
[SPEAKER_00]: She has consistently denied that, you know, in her music.
15:29
[SPEAKER_00]: it hasn't stopped to be.
15:30
[SPEAKER_00]: She's still selling out shows, selling out songs, people are still anticipating this that any other.
15:38
[SPEAKER_00]: Chris Brown has been known to be very, you know, a great piece about that life.
15:43
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know what I mean?
15:45
[SPEAKER_00]: Like Chris is not to be played with.
15:48
[SPEAKER_01]: Did he just, did he just go to jail again?
15:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Did he?
15:52
[SPEAKER_01]: Was it somebody that just went to jail?
16:00
[SPEAKER_01]: So, no, I think I can't come for the Atlanta show.
16:03
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm back to jail, so the Chris Brown facing years in prison after pleading guilty in night club brawl.
16:15
[SPEAKER_01]: You get that, you get that brand and brawl.
16:17
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying, and you can, you can start playing up if you're a character, and again, I don't know what, I don't know what that was Chris, but if, if you're being attacked for something,
16:29
[SPEAKER_01]: and either your historical records start being revealed to realize, oh, gosh, I know you did these great things for this period of time, or starting to see that this is who you really are.
16:40
[SPEAKER_01]: And then moving forward, like we're seeing more stuff, more issues, that's when it's hard to fight.
16:48
[SPEAKER_01]: But what I'm saying is, if you have a track record of good,
16:54
[SPEAKER_01]: and that you do something weird.
16:56
[SPEAKER_01]: One, there's a bunch of fans that don't even believe that you are who they are accusing you of.
17:01
[SPEAKER_01]: But the name and a game is to keep producing, moving forward.
17:07
[SPEAKER_01]: based on what people love you for.
17:09
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it's difficult, man.
17:11
[SPEAKER_01]: It's difficult.
17:12
[SPEAKER_00]: This is, okay, so Chris, please guilty over a bottle attack at London, Nikla, where he allegedly hit a music producer over the hit with a bottle.
17:23
[SPEAKER_00]: He initially
17:25
[SPEAKER_00]: Said that he was innocent of this and then he ultimately just this was this was post it last week So he just Went ahead and said that he was found guilty and you know there's all kind of strategy as to why they do what they do And it could be because he is on this tour and let's go ahead and get this over with like okay guilty He's been he's being sentenced on October 26
17:46
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, if he already knows what the judgment will be for pleading guilty, it may just be easier for him to do that than to continue to show up for court appearance.
17:58
[SPEAKER_00]: After court appearance, I don't know.
18:00
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't really know how that part works.
18:02
[SPEAKER_00]: There's I or he's guilty.
18:04
[SPEAKER_00]: He's or there's enough evidence and and he's guilty.
18:07
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, says that he's been in repeated legal troubles since his felony conviction in 2009, a salt of his then girlfriend Rihanna.
18:15
[SPEAKER_00]: This is a great example because we all know what happened with the Rihanna situation.
18:19
[SPEAKER_00]: He admitted that he was highly remorseful for that and went through his rehabilitation and all the things, right?
18:27
[SPEAKER_00]: That was a very public ordeal.
18:29
[SPEAKER_00]: But it doesn't stop women all over the world from battling for that on the stage spot, where they get their 30 seconds with him.
18:38
[SPEAKER_00]: It does not stop them from selling out, show after show and loving his music and fainting when
18:44
[SPEAKER_00]: It's still happening, so how bad does it get for people?
18:49
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I think all you got to think that was what?
18:53
[SPEAKER_01]: Two thousand years ago, 17 years ago.
18:56
[SPEAKER_01]: So I think people have short attention spans, but even to the point that I was just saying, you do something, but he's consistently produced
19:06
[SPEAKER_01]: Good music and good content if you keep producing people start to get amnesia about the bad thing that you did until you do something else that reminds them So we don't we don't maybe in here's the thing.
19:22
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think this situation of admitting a producer will affect them in a negative way one.
19:27
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a woman too We don't know him.
19:31
[SPEAKER_01]: We don't know the producer.
19:32
[SPEAKER_00]: I was speaks more to
19:34
[SPEAKER_00]: who the world thinks Chris Brown is.
19:36
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's a character.
19:38
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm that guy.
19:38
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, don't play with me.
19:41
[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's just one.
19:43
[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to give a warning to anybody that wants to be that girl or be that guy that people come to and be popular.
19:51
[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to be attacked.
19:53
[SPEAKER_01]: Be careful what you do on the way up because that stuff will be uncovered if Danny wasn't doing all the stuff he was doing for years.
20:04
[SPEAKER_01]: And you couldn't pull up a bunch of stuff.
20:06
[SPEAKER_01]: You might be okay today, but on the way up, we do these things that we think nobody cares about.
20:13
[SPEAKER_00]: And your circle of trust at that, our Kelly, Diddy, many of them were probably doing things in their circle of trust.
20:24
[SPEAKER_00]: This will never get out, we're involved.
20:27
[SPEAKER_01]: it's very helpful.
20:29
[SPEAKER_01]: It will always get a lot of different humans being involved.
20:35
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just any who.
20:37
[SPEAKER_01]: But I think it's I think it's
20:40
[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's interesting that, you know, all of this publicity are getting people to know what invests is and some people are going to get a ticket just to be in the building just to see what all the hype is about, just to see, right?
20:54
[SPEAKER_00]: So the truth of the matter is we're here to shoot an ad and we can talk all about how we've made multiple seven figures.
21:00
[SPEAKER_00]: We can talk all about how we've helped other people make multiple so we're sure.
21:04
[SPEAKER_00]: We can talk about how we can give thousands of people in a room to talk about entrepreneurs.
21:10
[SPEAKER_00]: We can talk about how we create viral moments all the time.
21:12
[SPEAKER_00]: We could do all those things if we were sitting here to create an ad in the regular format.
21:17
[SPEAKER_00]: But the truth of the matter is, we just wanted to invite you into our circle.
21:21
[SPEAKER_01]: While when do you want to be in a circle of people with provenance success and other people that are in this circle that can really help elevate your game?
21:28
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not always about the coaches, it's about the community, but we have them both.
21:33
[SPEAKER_00]: next level.
21:34
[SPEAKER_00]: So here's the thing.
21:34
[SPEAKER_00]: We have an opportunity that we're extending to you right now.
21:37
[SPEAKER_00]: We're inviting you into our circle because I know you're tired of complaining that you don't have anybody to talk to.
21:43
[SPEAKER_00]: I know you were tired of complaining about being the smartest person in your room.
21:47
[SPEAKER_00]: And I know you're really sick of not having anybody to bounce ideas off of.
21:51
[SPEAKER_00]: We can fix that.
21:53
[SPEAKER_01]: We can fix it.
21:54
[SPEAKER_01]: You can't fix it on your own, stop coaching, you need a coach, second coach, you to see how you're playing on the field.
22:00
[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to invite you to stop delaying, stop procrastinating, and be a part of a community that cares about you and can get you to that next level, okay?
22:10
[SPEAKER_01]: You delay long enough, and make a comment below, if you are a procrastinator, historically, but today you're about to take action, click the link right now, join Donnie and I.
22:20
[SPEAKER_01]: That's okay.
22:21
[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
22:27
[SPEAKER_00]: So, I said to our community, I think I also said this on a recent episode of Full Transparency that I just recorded, I see so many attacks against the invest fest, and I don't have any equity in the program, so there's that.
22:46
[SPEAKER_00]: I just want to put that out there, but I see so many people who say, they
22:52
[SPEAKER_00]: have attended and they didn't learn anything.
22:55
[SPEAKER_00]: They've attended and it was just a hoose who event.
22:59
[SPEAKER_00]: And I pulled up the website and I said, you know, whether you like what they said on the internet or not is one thing, right?
23:10
[SPEAKER_00]: But years past, they've always had outstanding speakers,
23:22
[SPEAKER_00]: You mean to tell me that this year alone, right?
23:28
[SPEAKER_00]: Because what they say is, oh, it's the celebrity fanfare.
23:31
[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, you don't learn anything.
23:34
[SPEAKER_00]: You mean to tell me that in a lineup of Serena Williams, who's a 23-time Grand Slam tennis champ and investor, Steve Harvey, Nick Cannon.
23:45
[SPEAKER_00]: who dominates on TV, who overcomes all of the same scrutiny that we just talked about.
23:50
[SPEAKER_00]: You mean to tell me you can't learn a single thing, but let's take celebrity off the table.
23:55
[SPEAKER_00]: You mean to tell me that Jelisa Seymour, who's the founder of SaltXO, who looks just like you and me, who post on every single day.
24:03
[SPEAKER_00]: that she built her business on her living room floor.
24:06
[SPEAKER_00]: She shows you her humble beginnings, packaging things on her living room floor.
24:10
[SPEAKER_00]: You can't learn anything from her.
24:12
[SPEAKER_00]: You can't learn anything from Milan Harris, who shows you that she started Molano de Rouge out of the back seat, out of the trunk of her Nissan Altima.
24:20
[SPEAKER_00]: No.
24:21
[SPEAKER_00]: From Salt Exo, Jelisa Seymour, from Milan Harris, founder of
24:25
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's say you don't like on your leisure.
24:28
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's say you don't like Troy or Rashad or Ian.
24:30
[SPEAKER_00]: Cool.
24:31
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's take them off the table.
24:32
[SPEAKER_00]: You mean to tell me that you can't learn anything from Keith Lee who is an influencer and food critic who built a brand from the front scene of his vehicle.
24:42
[SPEAKER_00]: going from restaurant to restaurant, just taste and food, making money off of activity that he would have done anyway.
24:49
[SPEAKER_00]: You mean to tell me that John Morgan, who's the founder of Morgan and Morgan, and this is not publicity for them in any way.
24:56
[SPEAKER_00]: I have no equity in this, but what I'm saying is John Morgan just talked about how he made over eight.
25:02
[SPEAKER_00]: hundred million dollars.
25:03
[SPEAKER_00]: He's building a family business.
25:05
[SPEAKER_00]: He talked about the principle of becoming wealthy and how he manages pre-nups and how his children date and all the things.
25:11
[SPEAKER_00]: I learned so much from the free podcast that he put out.
25:14
[SPEAKER_00]: You mean to tell me that in an intentional conversations with prepared questions?
25:18
[SPEAKER_00]: you can't pick anything up from John Morgan.
25:22
[SPEAKER_00]: You need to tell me, hold on one second.
25:24
[SPEAKER_00]: You mean to tell me out of all these people that are going to be on this.
25:29
[SPEAKER_00]: There's not one nugget that you're going to get from somebody that can change your business or change your
25:35
[SPEAKER_00]: life.
25:36
[SPEAKER_00]: Then the next argument is, yeah, we'll don't need the tickets are $300.
25:39
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, pay it.
25:40
[SPEAKER_00]: You mean to tell me that you can't learn something that will make you another $300, but what they're doing is they're saying, oh, the tickets to invest faster $5,000.
25:50
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, there's a ticket available for $5,000.
25:52
[SPEAKER_00]: And if you don't like that price, don't pay that price.
25:55
[SPEAKER_00]: Get the $300 ticket and be in the room and take notes.
25:58
[SPEAKER_00]: Let me tell you what I think the problem is, not just with invest fast, but so many
26:06
[SPEAKER_00]: And if every single speaker doesn't suit their need or suit their desire, then the whole thing was a waste.
26:12
[SPEAKER_00]: But guys, you got to learn how to do events.
26:15
[SPEAKER_00]: You have to learn how to do events.
26:16
[SPEAKER_00]: Before I go to invest fast, right?
26:20
[SPEAKER_00]: I am looking for who I need right now in this season in my life, who I need right now in this season of my business, who do I directly relate to that can potentially give me something that moves the needle forward for me.
26:32
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm identifying that, okay, I need to hear from this person and this person, this person, Alicia, little like, what's up with this A.I.
26:38
[SPEAKER_00]: crashing on me, girl, help me out, like I'm in your session, Alicia, and then I'm going to the schedule, and I'm seeing when they're speaking, and I'm pinning that out.
26:46
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not in the marketplace trying to take all the pictures.
26:49
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not outside in the lobby trying to catch these celebrities and influencers as they're walking in and out to get my picture and maybe you're not getting what you need from these investments that you're making because the focus is wrong.
27:02
[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't believe you don't have to like those guys.
27:05
[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't believe that with over 40 people that are going to be in one room at
27:16
[SPEAKER_01]: you not gonna get something yeah it's it's absolutely ridiculous I don't don't get it I just don't it I made a post on threes like I'm trying to figure out why a human
27:27
[SPEAKER_01]: be mad at investors, you've got 20, 25,000 people that are all like this thing to go to a concert.
27:36
[SPEAKER_01]: So you don't know what the concert goes life's life, but you know, if someone bought a ticket to this, they have a particular mindset that they want to learn and they want to grow and you don't want to be in that environment.
27:47
[SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, oh well, it's gonna be a room full of scammers.
27:51
[SPEAKER_01]: Are you saying there's gonna be 25?
27:56
[SPEAKER_01]: Like they put together a room of 25,000 people who are trying to scam you.
28:02
[SPEAKER_01]: What's wrong with that?
28:03
[SPEAKER_01]: If you're an entrepreneur, if nothing else, if nothing else, there should be a networking element.
28:11
[SPEAKER_01]: Have your pitch together, create your content, bring your camera, every content creator in the world should be there.
28:18
[SPEAKER_01]: You have an audience of people that you can have interesting conversations with, it's, I don't, I don't get it.
28:24
[SPEAKER_01]: There's bill on there.
28:25
[SPEAKER_00]: And there's billionaires.
28:26
[SPEAKER_00]: There are millionaires.
28:27
[SPEAKER_00]: There are five figure earners.
28:28
[SPEAKER_00]: There are people who are just getting started.
28:30
[SPEAKER_00]: They're like, find, find your group.
28:32
[SPEAKER_00]: Find your people and actually learn something.
28:34
[SPEAKER_00]: And let's talk about it because that is a highly spread thought that it's going to be a room full of scammers.
28:42
[SPEAKER_00]: And they're talking both about speakers and people in the audience, right?
28:49
[SPEAKER_00]: On one hand, like I get people who have been wronged by people in business and I always get that on on two hands I get people who have been wronged by people, but when we call people scammers is based on what right based on what what do we know that they have done.
29:06
[SPEAKER_00]: And if there is a scammer that you know of, just say, hey, this person, y'all might want to look into this person.
29:13
[SPEAKER_00]: If you're concerned about the people who are going to be in the room when you feel like their scammers, what guy scammers are everywhere?
29:17
[SPEAKER_00]: They're at the grocery store that you shop at.
29:19
[SPEAKER_00]: They hit the gym that you work out at, they're the bank that you go to.
29:22
[SPEAKER_00]: They're at the concerts that you keep paying to attend.
29:25
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, if you're in Atlanta, they're at the club, you go to, you just got their number.
29:30
[SPEAKER_00]: You just got their number.
29:32
[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
29:32
[SPEAKER_00]: He just took you on a date.
29:34
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
29:34
[SPEAKER_00]: She just she just she just came and played her position.
29:38
[SPEAKER_00]: They're everywhere.
29:40
[SPEAKER_00]: That that part can't be stopped.
29:42
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm I'm not defending one way or the other.
29:45
[SPEAKER_00]: This for me has nothing to do with invest fest.
29:48
[SPEAKER_00]: It has everything to do with how we'll stop ourselves.
29:52
[SPEAKER_00]: from taking the meat and leaving the bone.
29:55
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just, I don't understand that, but again, that's one of those things where it's super popular to throw stones when everyone's throwing stones.
30:05
[SPEAKER_01]: And a lot of the people that are throwing the stones have never even been there.
30:10
[SPEAKER_01]: There's an electric energy that is in that room of entrepreneurship, the vendor marketplace,
30:18
[SPEAKER_01]: I think they just said that was sold out to, I think it was like 400 vendors, but it's something about the vendor marketplace where you get to see a bunch of people who invested in themselves and is building a business.
30:30
[SPEAKER_01]: Talk to them, give me a good amount of workshops.
30:33
[SPEAKER_01]: If you want to start a business, go to one of those vendors and say, oh my gosh, you got the big booth.
30:40
[SPEAKER_01]: which means they spent some money on the boot.
30:42
[SPEAKER_01]: Investors and money.
30:44
[SPEAKER_01]: This is a person you can have a conversation with that is a couple steps above you that you can have a conversation with.
30:50
[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I get so frustrated, man.
30:52
[SPEAKER_01]: Not just
31:02
[SPEAKER_01]: and like there was a lot of like backlash from AfroTek.
31:06
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is my first year there.
31:07
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just trying to see what's going on in tech.
31:09
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to be in the tech world.
31:11
[SPEAKER_01]: And on thread, it's so much like backlash for AfroTek.
31:17
[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, bro,
31:19
[SPEAKER_01]: I went in some workshops of people who built apps, who sold apps, who like think in a different way in terms of like technology and I'm like so inspired.
31:29
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I went to like two workshops, but even out, I was live streaming and met so many people and created some content.
31:36
[SPEAKER_01]: That was the price of admission for me.
31:38
[SPEAKER_01]: So I think people like their mindset is so...
31:42
[SPEAKER_01]: like social media, sweys, people's perspective and gives them, gives them a negative perspective on something that can really help you and it's so sad.
31:52
[SPEAKER_00]: I also think there is an element where people have truly been hurt by, like, some events, or not, or disappointed by some events.
32:03
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, they talk about the empowerment branches and the motivational rooms and all the things.
32:11
[SPEAKER_00]: But my question there becomes, well, if you were attending an empowerment branch, what more did you want than empowerment?
32:22
[SPEAKER_00]: What else were you looking for like I went to this empowerment I see this all the time I went to this empowerment branch and there was nothing there but a bunch of motivation Google the word empowerment Let's look at the definition of the word like she or he sold you the dot dot dot Empowerment branch they didn't sell you the five ways to make $10,000 a month
32:51
[SPEAKER_00]: And so you're signing up for these things.
32:53
[SPEAKER_00]: And my question is like, what are you expecting?
32:55
[SPEAKER_00]: I want to know this because we produce events.
32:57
[SPEAKER_00]: We do things.
32:58
[SPEAKER_00]: What are you expecting when you go into these rooms and get like if it says that is they how to learn, I'm expecting a how to learn and very little motivation.
33:08
[SPEAKER_00]: Like if I bought a ticket to the five ways to increase your bottom line by $10,000 a month, I want 80% of that in 20% empowerment.
33:20
[SPEAKER_00]: But if I bought the ticket for, I want to empower you to dream bigger.
33:25
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm expecting all motivation, like that's just what I'm expecting.
33:30
[SPEAKER_00]: And there's responsibility on both parts.
33:35
[SPEAKER_00]: Event organizers, there's responsibility for you to deliver what you sold.
33:40
[SPEAKER_00]: If you told people that they were learning these things, they need to learn.
33:43
[SPEAKER_00]: They need to leave having learned.
33:49
[SPEAKER_00]: There is and we have to be honest about some of these webinars and some of these challenges and some of these events that teach nothing but sell everything I've sat on them right so I get it I understand why people are frustrated because you go but how much more right yes there have been those things but that's not everybody and you shouldn't be like
34:17
[SPEAKER_00]: I bought a packet chicken from the grocery store recently and when I opened the chicken it was clearly spoiled I checked the date and it was a future date this should be good chicken I should be able to cook my mother chicken and move on right I'm disappointed because I barely I rarely walk into a grocery store I was craving something that day I really
34:45
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going back to the store, but you know what I did?
34:49
[SPEAKER_00]: I ordered another pack of chicken to get delivered.
34:53
[SPEAKER_00]: I have to wait a little longer.
34:55
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I have to invest again.
34:56
[SPEAKER_00]: But I didn't let this one spoiled pack of chicken stop me from ordering more chicken.
35:04
[SPEAKER_01]: Make you go vegan.
35:06
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, my gosh, chicken's a scam, I'm going vegan.
35:08
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going vegan.
35:08
[SPEAKER_00]: I have purchased people's courses
35:15
[SPEAKER_00]: I got nothing from it, but I shifted my perspective and said, because I'm a business owner, I don't currently have a course, but when I was doing courses and I will have another course, I am a business owner, I believe in the education part, what I'm going to take from this course that I got no new skill based knowledge from is that this is not the experience that I want people to have with my program.
35:40
[SPEAKER_00]: So at the end of the day from this course that Phil flat for me, I still got something.
35:44
[SPEAKER_00]: I still got that this isn't the way that I want to show up.
35:47
[SPEAKER_00]: This isn't what I would want to put my name on and that made me pay attention to customer service fulfillment automation.
35:55
[SPEAKER_00]: So I got something.
35:56
[SPEAKER_00]: I get it.
35:57
[SPEAKER_00]: But I've also.
35:58
[SPEAKER_00]: invested in programs that have completely changed me, changed something about me, sharpened my skillset, made me believe in myself at a higher level.
36:06
[SPEAKER_00]: When I put my first course out, I was under the tutelage of somebody else's program.
36:13
[SPEAKER_00]: I have been building courses and webinars and small little master classes for years since 2014, putting them on YouTube, giving it out for free, putting it out for $25, I bought somebody's course, I paid $5,000 for in 2020.
36:31
[SPEAKER_00]: The course that I ended up creating is a result of that made me millions of dollars, but it wasn't because they showed me everything.
36:43
[SPEAKER_00]: how this person was able to capture and audience, teach them everything ethically like.
36:50
[SPEAKER_00]: everything about that subject matter ethically.
36:53
[SPEAKER_00]: I saw how he showed up and answered questions.
36:55
[SPEAKER_00]: And it made me say, even beyond what I'm learning here, I want to run my business like this.
37:00
[SPEAKER_00]: And then that's what I did.
37:02
[SPEAKER_00]: And that course went on to make me millions.
37:04
[SPEAKER_00]: So I've purchased the bag, but just because I purchased a couple of bags doesn't mean it ain't good.
37:08
[SPEAKER_00]: You didn't purchase an outfit off Amazon.
37:10
[SPEAKER_00]: You got it and it wasn't what you expected it to be.
37:12
[SPEAKER_00]: It was see through and short when it was supposed to be opaque and long.
37:17
[SPEAKER_00]: But you still try another vendor.
37:21
[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody, like, and you'll make a funny post about, come on Amazon, what I bought, what I thought I was getting, versus what I got, what I wanted, versus what I got.
37:30
[SPEAKER_00]: But when it comes to business owners for some reason, we start this slander campaign.
37:36
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't even try to make it right.
37:38
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not talking to those of you who do.
37:40
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking to the people who are being influenced by other people's situations that you've never even tried.
37:47
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't know if it works.
37:49
[SPEAKER_00]: I can't guarantee that every mentee in our community is going to see success for us.
37:54
[SPEAKER_00]: I just can't.
37:55
[SPEAKER_00]: You know why?
37:55
[SPEAKER_00]: I know that we deliver a mentorship call every Monday morning.
38:00
[SPEAKER_00]: I know that we deliver a mentorship call in our community social proof circle every Tuesday evening.
38:06
[SPEAKER_00]: You're on Mondays.
38:07
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm on Tuesday evenings.
38:08
[SPEAKER_00]: I know that we do a joint Q&A every Friday morning.
38:13
[SPEAKER_00]: I know that I wake up at 6.45 every single day and do a million year morning in motivation and prayer call.
38:20
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm hitting it from every angle, you're hitting it from all the angles.
38:22
[SPEAKER_00]: I know that if you can't make any of those days that every single recording is available to you, I know that we teach in themes so that if you miss last week we're still in this series and you can catch up and you can actually achieve success but what I don't know.
38:39
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how many Mondays you skipped.
38:41
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how many Tuesdays you skipped.
38:43
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how many accountability meetings that the community leaves that you skipped.
38:47
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how many Fridays you sat on that Q&A and didn't answer any questions.
38:51
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what you're doing in your life outside of what you show up as in this community.
38:56
[SPEAKER_00]: I cannot be held accountable for what you fail to execute on.
39:02
[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
39:03
[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
39:04
[SPEAKER_01]: It is what you do with it.
39:06
[SPEAKER_01]: If you buy lemons and you eliminate turns out terrible, doesn't make lemons a bad thing to buy.
39:12
[SPEAKER_01]: You just need to figure out to do it.
39:13
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm telling y'all, y'all need to go to more events.
39:16
[SPEAKER_01]: If there's someone that's accomplished some success, go listen to them, sit at their feet.
39:21
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'd say this a lot of time that man, if I could have gone live to watch Jim Rowan before he passed,
39:31
[SPEAKER_01]: It would be something I would have never forgotten.
39:34
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh, if I go to just, you'll think about the people on, let's just say in Vestfest, let's say like look at these people.
39:42
[SPEAKER_01]: Like really look at like the line up of people, Serena is a champion.
39:49
[SPEAKER_01]: And some of us have been watching Serena for a very long time.
39:53
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not like she has a podcast so you get to like really hear a whole lot of her interviews but to watch live and in person.
40:02
[SPEAKER_01]: And the reason I'm so passionate about why people talk about events because you have no idea what it takes to put on to them.
40:10
[SPEAKER_01]: You have no idea.
40:13
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just waiting for the day where we have
40:18
[SPEAKER_01]: 15,000 people at podcast summit and they're throwing the stones and out of all fight against that especially when we're we're trying to provide really good information
40:30
[SPEAKER_01]: But there are people that are designed to throw stones.
40:33
[SPEAKER_01]: That's their makeup.
40:34
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what they were created for.
40:36
[SPEAKER_01]: To be negative and hey, and that's just very rare that you can build a career off of hate.
40:41
[SPEAKER_01]: Not impossible, not impossible, but you can, it's very difficult to build a career off hate, man.
40:48
[SPEAKER_01]: So don't miss these memories, man.
40:51
[SPEAKER_01]: Shoutouts to the guys for bringing,
40:53
[SPEAKER_01]: some people together that otherwise I wouldn't be able to see them in person, you know what I mean?
40:58
[SPEAKER_01]: I wish I had a chance to meet or sit in that session with Shannon Sharber, really like Shannon Sharber.
41:09
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm waiting for the day to Joe buttons comes.
41:12
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
41:12
[SPEAKER_01]: Like that, I really, really enjoy Jill, but I never got a chance too because Steve Harvey is typically on the Saturdays and I never got a chance to like sit in the session and really taught like there's some people, even on here that I would love to meet there's one person here, you know, I gotta meet this person.
41:31
[SPEAKER_01]: Our name is Donnie Wiggins.
41:35
[SPEAKER_01]: I've been waiting my whole life.
41:37
[SPEAKER_00]: It's so interesting because I get to interview this guy, David Shans, on the main stage, I think will be, not only David Shans, but Halani Lobdale, like some of you guys may know her is Mrs. Two weeks out, I cannot wait in Jamal King.
41:52
[SPEAKER_00]: Come on.
41:53
[SPEAKER_00]: On my panel, the nine to five millionaire himself, I cannot wait to get on listen.
42:00
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what you get anywhere else, but on that panel, you're going to get what you came for.
42:05
[SPEAKER_00]: I cannot wait to sit and have this conversation with these people.
42:09
[SPEAKER_00]: And then those of you maybe you hadn't started in business yet and you just want to be there.
42:13
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm telling you, you'll get something simply from the environment growing up.
42:18
[SPEAKER_00]: There was nothing that I know of that I had access to at that time.
42:22
[SPEAKER_00]: Even like when I was younger, build in business like they're
42:29
[SPEAKER_00]: with people that you were fans of and listen to them speak and have that proximity know you don't get to shake everybody's hand and you don't get a picture for everybody but they are intentional about curating those moments too.
42:42
[SPEAKER_00]: They walk all of their who's who through the vendor markets and everything for you to be able to connect and do the things and they create VIP moments for that because there has to be some filter right if all 30,000 people you know were in line to take pictures it just couldn't happen
42:59
[SPEAKER_00]: This is really a time where let's just take the information off the table, though it's very much on the table.
43:07
[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to get it right there on the table, but let's take it off when do you get to be in an environment with so many people who look like you that's created success like that for me.
43:21
[SPEAKER_00]: I will pay $300 to sit in that audience, to absorb and soak up that energy.
43:30
[SPEAKER_00]: I have spent $300 on a bad meal one day.
43:36
[SPEAKER_00]: I will easily make the investment to pay $300 to be in a room like that.
43:41
[SPEAKER_00]: And in all the rooms, invest fast podcast summit, all the events, like I go to all of them, webinar con,
43:50
[SPEAKER_00]: I see people complaining, web in our cons, tickets are $5,000, $2,500.
43:57
[SPEAKER_00]: The man who has made a hundred million dollars doing webinars is going to hit that stage and teach us something about webinars, many of his students who have gone through his mentorship and his program are coming up and they're going to tell you how they have a million dollar result every single time.
44:14
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to put that 5,000 dollars on the table.
44:16
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm putting that 5,000 dollars on the table.
44:19
[SPEAKER_00]: Start where you can.
44:20
[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
44:21
[SPEAKER_01]: So Sunday will be their Sunday.
44:24
[SPEAKER_01]: Sunday, I'll be at 1050, facilitating a panel.
44:27
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm, yeah, I'm facilitating a panel with a keep lead ace metaphor and curse saying, and then Donnie and I get the be on the stage together.
44:37
[SPEAKER_01]: A Sunday at 12, 50 p.m. with Jamal King, how I loved El, and myself facilitated by none other than the illustrious Miss Donnie Wiggins.
44:49
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm excited.
44:51
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm excited.
44:52
[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, Jamal, the 95 millionaires is texting me right now.
44:56
[SPEAKER_00]: He said, Donnie, hey, I want to make sure that we give the people what they need.
45:00
[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the question I need to make sure you ask me.
45:03
[SPEAKER_00]: He wants to make sure that I extract the information out of him that he wants to leave that audience with shoutout to Jamal King.
45:11
[SPEAKER_00]: Halani actually texted me this morning.
45:13
[SPEAKER_00]: And look like no lie, you see it.
45:14
[SPEAKER_00]: 10, 10, 38 this morning.
45:16
[SPEAKER_00]: Hi, Lonnie.
45:17
[SPEAKER_00]: Just now, Jamal, right there.
45:20
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
45:21
[SPEAKER_00]: Text me, they tell me, Donnie, I want to make sure you extract.
45:25
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to extract the information.
45:26
[SPEAKER_00]: If there's anything, I'm surgical with this stuff.
45:29
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
45:29
[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
45:30
[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
45:31
[SPEAKER_00]: As we wrap up this episode before we do that, I need you guys to tell me real quick.
45:35
[SPEAKER_00]: You may have seen you start the podcast like this, right, because this is the sofa.
45:39
[SPEAKER_00]: But when I get the clips back, I feel like I look like this.
45:43
[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I look like a bit girl and I always look at a shape.
45:46
[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all my stomach is flat, but when I'm...
45:49
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, first, don't ever try me, all right?
45:53
[SPEAKER_00]: Stomach is flat, but when I'm seated like this, this is usually how I'm seated in the clips, and I look at a shape and all the things.
46:03
[SPEAKER_00]: So then I adjust it myself, and I said, well, let me just sit straight up and be uncomfortable, because my back's not touching anything.
46:10
[SPEAKER_00]: There's no pillow, I can bring a smaller pillow next time when we can grab a smaller pillow in here.
46:15
[SPEAKER_00]: Is this the look?
46:17
[SPEAKER_00]: Right, can you tell that I'm in shape or is this the look?
46:23
[SPEAKER_00]: Cause this is how normally sit and then I look that a clip that I wanted to share on my page so bad, but I just looked, yeah, anyway, they, I don't know what you're talking about.
46:34
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, I got some questions for you.
46:36
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll start.
46:37
[SPEAKER_00]: Before we close this out.
46:39
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, huh.
46:43
[SPEAKER_00]: Huh huh huh huh.
46:49
[SPEAKER_00]: Would you rather know the opportunity that you talk to yourself out of or the person who talked to you out of it?
46:56
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if I understand that.
47:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, would I rather know?
47:02
[SPEAKER_00]: Would you rather know what opportunity you missed out on or the person who talked you out of an opportunity?
47:10
[SPEAKER_00]: Like you know how you can have these conversations, you'll be excited about something and somebody's like, ah, I don't know.
47:17
[SPEAKER_00]: With sometimes it happens, sometimes people are so good that they can talk you out of stuff without you even being aware that they talked you out of something.
47:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Give me the next question because it's confusing a little bit to you.
47:30
[SPEAKER_01]: Your attention skill to lecture.
47:32
[SPEAKER_01]: You answer it.
47:33
[SPEAKER_01]: Because if why wouldn't I know the person that's on the matter with it?
47:37
[SPEAKER_00]: So there's a skill set that people can learn.
47:40
[SPEAKER_00]: Where you're not directly talking to us.
47:44
[SPEAKER_00]: Give me a scenario.
47:46
[SPEAKER_00]: Give me any scenario.
47:52
[SPEAKER_01]: give you a scenario.
47:52
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, give me a, okay, let's just pretend that your name is Joe.
47:58
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
47:59
[SPEAKER_00]: And you are struggling in marriage.
48:02
[SPEAKER_00]: That's not David scenario.
48:03
[SPEAKER_00]: But let's just pretend and you come and you're just having a conversation like, yo, it's just getting harder and harder to stay married.
48:10
[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't say, I think you should get a divorce.
48:13
[SPEAKER_00]: I say something like, you know, sometimes you got to put the work in to stay married.
48:18
[SPEAKER_00]: The thing is, though, you just got to decide that that work is worth it for you, you know?
48:21
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I've seen so many people who thrive in marriage, but I've also seen so many people that men specifically when they get divorced, they be lit out here in the street.
48:29
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that's open for sure.
48:31
[SPEAKER_01]: Sure, I'm not talking so much.
48:32
[SPEAKER_00]: That's not direct.
48:34
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm playing both sides.
48:35
[SPEAKER_00]: You're not playing both sides.
48:36
[SPEAKER_00]: I am.
48:37
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying.
48:38
[SPEAKER_00]: I see marriages of benefit, but I also see what happens to men when they get divorced.
48:43
[SPEAKER_00]: I see that, man, you should keep your family, but don't take it for me because I'm not married, so I don't know, but I think you should keep your family.
48:50
[SPEAKER_00]: And now all night long, I've planted this seed and you go home and you're like, yeah, I'm out of this.
48:57
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm out of this.
48:58
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I, I would know that that.
49:00
[SPEAKER_01]: See you in now.
49:01
[SPEAKER_01]: Give me another one.
49:01
[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
49:02
[SPEAKER_00]: You give me one.
49:03
[SPEAKER_00]: Give me one.
49:03
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have one.
49:04
[SPEAKER_00]: You didn't come out with one.
49:05
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I do.
49:05
[SPEAKER_01]: That's all.
49:06
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
49:06
[SPEAKER_01]: You go.
49:07
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
49:07
[SPEAKER_00]: Would you rather know who secretly celebrates your success or who secretly resents it?
49:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Mm.
49:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Secretly celebrates my success or who secretly resents it.
49:18
[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.
49:19
[SPEAKER_01]: For some reason, I, my curiosity won't let me.
49:24
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to, I want to know who's like,
49:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, and on the low, I really want to know.
49:29
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you want to know who's hating on the low.
49:31
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
49:33
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe me too.
49:35
[SPEAKER_00]: I was going to say, first of all, why are you secretly celebrating me?
49:39
[SPEAKER_00]: Celebrate me out loud.
49:41
[SPEAKER_00]: But I understand what the question means.
49:42
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like there's some people that don't get to communicate with you every single day.
49:45
[SPEAKER_00]: And they're really cheering for you.
49:47
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
49:48
[SPEAKER_00]: Ah, that's a tough one.
49:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, those people are going to love you anyway, but it's, it's, you become a fool when you're around people who secretly resent you.
49:57
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't even know that people are secretly celebrating me because I already know that they're in my corner, right?
50:02
[SPEAKER_01]: There's some people that I secretly celebrate and not that I'm trying to keep it on the low is just, I don't see you or it's all to you, but when I see them like, yes, I love that.
50:11
[SPEAKER_01]: But I need to know to people who secretly resent me so that when I see them, I'm not putting faith or trust or putting them in a scenario to have my back and they won't.
50:22
[SPEAKER_00]: So that's good.
50:23
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
50:24
[SPEAKER_00]: What do you, would you rather hear every compliment you've never heard, or every criticism people were afraid to tell you?
50:35
[SPEAKER_01]: every criticism people are afraid to treat itself.
50:38
[SPEAKER_00]: Every criticism.
50:39
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I don't know.
50:40
[SPEAKER_01]: Negeart reaction every criticism because I want to know in what ways I can improve.
50:47
[SPEAKER_01]: Like I want to know if there's a book you and my nose that everybody can see.
50:52
[SPEAKER_01]: You may want to know when there's lipstick on your teeth, but nobody does, nobody says it.
50:57
[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, that'll probably be.
50:59
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
51:00
[SPEAKER_01]: I think that turns you into a negative person,
51:02
[SPEAKER_01]: You get to see all the flaws about yourself and it kind of affects yourself, where?
51:08
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, last one I have before you give me a question.
51:11
[SPEAKER_00]: Would you rather lose your public reputation or your private piece?
51:17
[SPEAKER_01]: My public reputation, on my private piece, I would weigh, oh, easy one, I would weigh rather lose my public reputation.
51:28
[SPEAKER_00]: After everybody's gone, it's just me.
51:31
[SPEAKER_00]: When you lose or if you lost your public reputation, would you still fill that piece?
51:41
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, if it's a disadvantage, that means I'm selecting one public piece, but if I, I don't want to lose both.
51:48
[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't, you know, really, I don't necessarily, I'm, I'm getting up in age and 41, I'll be 42 this year.
51:58
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't need public reputation.
52:01
[SPEAKER_01]: I need the money to live a peaceful life.
52:05
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't need all that.
52:08
[SPEAKER_01]: When I go out and people show love, I love that.
52:11
[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't need it.
52:12
[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feed me.
52:14
[SPEAKER_00]: I have a good one.
52:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Talk to me.
52:16
[SPEAKER_00]: Would you rather never be betrayed again, or never disappoint anyone again?
52:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Never be betrayed.
52:25
[SPEAKER_00]: because I'm a disappointment, and I'm okay with that.
52:28
[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no.
52:29
[SPEAKER_01]: No, yeah, because people get disappointed by their own interpretation of what you did.
52:36
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
52:36
[SPEAKER_01]: There's not necessarily you did anything mean.
52:38
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just that somebody perceived it.
52:40
[SPEAKER_00]: I have experienced my share of betrayal.
52:44
[SPEAKER_00]: And it hurts.
52:45
[SPEAKER_00]: It cuts deeply.
52:47
[SPEAKER_00]: I would pick never be betrayed again, because
52:50
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah, you're going to disappoint people because you're human.
52:52
[SPEAKER_00]: They're human.
52:53
[SPEAKER_00]: But I do a good job of trying to make sure I soften any blows.
53:00
[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, sure.
53:00
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
53:02
[SPEAKER_00]: I got one.
53:03
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, um, uh, would you rather be loved by everyone or deeply understood by a few?
53:09
[SPEAKER_00]: for short, deeply understood by a few.
53:12
[SPEAKER_00]: That's easy.
53:12
[SPEAKER_00]: Deeply understood by a few.
53:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Easy?
53:15
[SPEAKER_01]: Easy for me.
53:16
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't need to be loved by everybody, but the people who I love, I would rather they deeply understand me.
53:24
[SPEAKER_01]: I love that.
53:26
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
53:28
[SPEAKER_01]: Would you rather lead from the front or behind the scenes?
53:33
[SPEAKER_01]: Your preference.
53:34
[SPEAKER_00]: I go back and forth on this one.
53:39
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I go back and forth on this one because I do both depending on where I'm showing up at, uh, but what do I like?
53:47
[SPEAKER_00]: I'd rather lead from the front.
53:53
[SPEAKER_00]: And the reason that I would rather if is this or that, the reason I'd rather lead from the front is because my style of leadership
54:09
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm me, right?
54:10
[SPEAKER_00]: I am who I am and it like the leadership is natural for me and it's been natural for me like my whole life.
54:16
[SPEAKER_00]: When you are behind the scenes, you're responsible for every little detail that highlights or puts a shadow on that leader who's leading from the front.
54:27
[SPEAKER_00]: You're responsible for the responses.
54:29
[SPEAKER_00]: You're responsible for making things look great.
54:31
[SPEAKER_00]: You're responsible for people in the room.
54:33
[SPEAKER_00]: You're responsible for the aesthetic of it all.
54:35
[SPEAKER_00]: You're responsible for the data collection.
54:38
[SPEAKER_00]: you're responsible for choosing where that leader leads, like it's a lot of responsibility both ways, but it's more natural for me to lead from the front.
54:46
[SPEAKER_01]: 11.
54:47
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
54:48
[SPEAKER_01]: Was your rather all things being equal be the founder or the investor?
54:55
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm what I'd rather be the founder or at this stage of my life.
54:58
[SPEAKER_01]: There's something big.
55:00
[SPEAKER_01]: There's something big.
55:02
[SPEAKER_01]: All things are same in terms of income.
55:05
[SPEAKER_00]: would rather be the same in terms of income being vester all day yeah well yeah also at this age of my life right I would rather be the investor but earlier I'd rather be the founder if I'm building something big that I can will right that out lives me
55:26
[SPEAKER_00]: And I believe that, like at this stage, I've put those pieces in place where we're building stuff that I can pass on and things that will, so at this stage of my life, I like to invest in some stuff.
55:38
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, all right, I got a couple more or two more.
55:41
[SPEAKER_01]: Would you rather create the trends or capitalize on them?
55:46
[SPEAKER_00]: That's a good one.
55:49
[SPEAKER_00]: Would I rather create the trends or capitalize on them?
55:53
[SPEAKER_00]: Are the results the same?
55:56
[SPEAKER_01]: Would you rather create the trends or capitalize on them?
56:01
[SPEAKER_00]: What's our life in it over there?
56:03
[SPEAKER_00]: I am.
56:11
[SPEAKER_00]: I would rather create the trend.
56:13
[SPEAKER_00]: I would rather create the trend.
56:15
[SPEAKER_00]: It's easier to capitalize on an existing trend.
56:18
[SPEAKER_00]: But if you are a person who determines the flow of the water,
56:25
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, I see a lot of stuff online where people say, you know, I started doing this thing and everybody stole that from me or it was starting to stuff the way that I did it.
56:42
[SPEAKER_01]: I think those are the type of people who create the trend, but somewhat get jealous based on someone else's ability to capitalize even more off the thing that you created.
56:58
[SPEAKER_01]: And I understand it, but
57:01
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, how do you stop somebody from being inspired?
57:03
[SPEAKER_01]: Especially, believe in that, there's a lot of coaches that want to inspire people to do stuff, but if you inspire them too much and they do it at a higher level, then they're mad.
57:15
[SPEAKER_00]: For sure.
57:15
[SPEAKER_01]: That's crazy.
57:16
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
57:16
[SPEAKER_00]: For sure.
57:17
[SPEAKER_00]: I always, when I had my course, my course came with coaching, like, once a week or Q&A.
57:23
[SPEAKER_00]: And I,
57:26
[SPEAKER_00]: I challenge them like y'all, I want y'all, I'm waiting for the person who surpasses me.
57:33
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm waiting for that person who surpasses me and there have been plenty of my students and clients.
57:38
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I've got clients who have surpassed me, right?
57:40
[SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about the course.
57:42
[SPEAKER_00]: They've been plenty of students that have gotten close or equal and I'm proud of that.
57:47
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm actually proud of that, but I also understand the person, the creator, the trendsetter who has everybody copying them.
57:54
[SPEAKER_00]: But then I wonder, are you the creator of it and then somebody else made it the trend?
58:00
[SPEAKER_00]: So you can create a bunch of stuff, but if it just sits on a shelf or if it's only exposed one time and you didn't know what to do with it It's not a trend yet until the trends that are gets the whole division creates the trend for sure.
58:13
[SPEAKER_01]: All right last one Would you rather have one life long best friend or dozens of really close friends?
58:25
[SPEAKER_01]: One lifelong best friend
58:27
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, one lifelong best friend or dozen of dozens a dozen a dozen a dozen a dozen of really close friends um I'm going to assume that friendship means the same here.
58:42
[SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about friends.
58:43
[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't say you have to worry about these people or anything.
58:45
[SPEAKER_00]: So really close friends the reason that I'm going to choose the dozen really close friends is because
58:53
[SPEAKER_00]: If you only have one friend, and they die, what do you left with, you know what I mean, like you, you have to start over like that.
59:04
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's a real thing, people leave you.
59:07
[SPEAKER_01]: And they say life long, though.
59:10
[SPEAKER_00]: Life long like I have my best.
59:14
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, we died the same time only me.
59:16
[SPEAKER_00]: I only need my best friend Only me one if we if we die at the same time, but if if if I have to choose between one friend my whole life
59:24
[SPEAKER_00]: or 12 close friends, like, you know how lucky you have to be to have 12 close friends.
59:30
[SPEAKER_00]: If I get to have 12 close friends, like just thinking about the vision for my life and all these different ideas and how we can help and support each other and I can trust you, I'm going to take the 12 and that best friend is going to be one of those 12.
59:41
[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
59:42
[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
59:43
[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
59:45
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, there we have it, man.
59:47
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's it.
59:49
[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, um, we said a lot about a lot of things.
59:55
[SPEAKER_00]: opinions.
59:55
[SPEAKER_00]: Some of you are going to like it.
