- 0:00Speaker 1: You just heard the news.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Now you'll find out what it all means. It's Mark
- 0:06Speaker 2: Simone on.
- 0:08Speaker 1: 710WOR.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Well, hey, it's Friday. That's the good news. Everything's going
- 0:16Speaker 2: to change next week. It's going to be a different
- 0:18Speaker 2: New York next week. Two reasons. One, autumn begins on Tuesday,
- 0:23Speaker 2: but today's going to be warm. It'll be a nice
- 0:26Speaker 2: 80-degree day today, and then starting tomorrow... It's going to
- 0:30Speaker 2: be fall-like. It's going to drop into the... The high
- 0:33Speaker 2: will be like 70 over the weekend. But next week,
- 0:36Speaker 2: next week it'll be in the 60s. That'll be the
- 0:39Speaker 2: high in the 60s next week. And the other thing
- 0:42Speaker 2: that'll make it different, it'll be UN week. The UN
- 0:45Speaker 2: General Assembly is already on, but next week is the
- 0:48Speaker 2: week where all the world leaders show up and cause
- 0:51Speaker 2: absolute chaos in New York. Gridlock everywhere. First Avenue will
- 0:56Speaker 2: be closed. All the side streets will be closed. obviously
- 0:59Speaker 2: around the UN, it'll be a traffic nightmare. Well, there'll
- 1:02Speaker 2: be no traffic. All the streets will be closed. But
- 1:05Speaker 2: you remember these world leaders stay at all the different
- 1:07Speaker 2: hotels around New York. So that creates chaos around those hotels.
- 1:12Speaker 2: You're going to have President Trump coming in. I have
- 1:15Speaker 2: a feeling he'll just come in and leave. I don't
- 1:17Speaker 2: think he'll stay. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. All right,
- 1:21Speaker 2: that's not going to involve much there. Zelensky will be here. Well,
- 1:26Speaker 2: that could be... That's a lot of security, a lot
- 1:28Speaker 2: of security risks there. Netanyahu will be here. Well, obviously,
- 1:32Speaker 2: that's going to involve protesting and all that. But again,
- 1:35Speaker 2: these leaders stay at all the hotels, the Waldorf, the Pierre,
- 1:40Speaker 2: the St. Regis, the Plaza. So don't think just because
- 1:44Speaker 2: you're nowhere near the UN, you're not going to encounter
- 1:46Speaker 2: all these street closures. The Regency, which is 61st and Park.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Street closures all around there. It's going to be.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Absolute chaos next week. Don't even think of driving into Manhattan.
- 2:02Speaker 2: And as they say, it'll be cool. It'll be in
- 2:04Speaker 2: the 60s. Autumn officially begins Tuesday. Actually, very late Monday night,
- 2:09Speaker 2: but Tuesday will be the first day of fall. The
- 2:12Speaker 2: city is ready. It's not just the U.N. mess, but
- 2:15Speaker 2: it's the protesters. Police Commissioner Tisch.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Obviously, every year around the U.N. General Assembly time, we
- 2:23Speaker 3: do see an uptick in the And this year, I
- 2:29Speaker 3: do not expect to be any different. So the NYPD
- 2:34Speaker 3: is prepared to work with organizers of protests and facilitate
- 2:40Speaker 3: First Amendment activity.
- 2:42Speaker 2: All right. That's OK. Now, but the big question mark
- 2:46Speaker 2: here is Mamdani. Mamdani in the U.N., you know, he's
- 2:50Speaker 2: the crazy lunatic threatening to arrest Netanyahu. until everybody explained
- 2:55Speaker 2: to him, you have absolutely no authority to do that.
- 2:57Speaker 2: He's not charged with anything in any legitimate court anywhere.
- 3:02Speaker 2: In fact, the Israeli ambassador saying that we should arrest Mamdani. Well,
- 3:11Speaker 2: that's actually pretty good. Yeah, I mean, you can't do that,
- 3:12Speaker 2: but it's a pretty good comeback. Israeli's ambassador to the
- 3:16Speaker 2: UN calls for Mamdani's arrest days before Netanyahu's visit. I
- 3:21Speaker 2: have a feeling if we needed to arrest one of
- 3:23Speaker 2: these two, it's Mamdani you could find a reason to
- 3:27Speaker 2: arrest him. Maybe just some substance that was being consumed
- 3:32Speaker 2: by him or something like that. You could always find
- 3:35Speaker 2: something to get him on. Mamdani on UN Week.
- 3:37Speaker 4: New Yorkers can expect to see a visible increase in
- 3:40Speaker 4: officers deployed across our city, as well as a heightened
- 3:43Speaker 4: police presence surrounding the United Nations building.
- 3:47Speaker 2: You know, he never sounds like a mayor. He doesn't sound...
- 3:50Speaker 2: Firm authority. It doesn't sound powerful. It's not. The U.S.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Secret Service and the State Department's Diplomatic Security Service will
- 3:59Speaker 4: work with the NYPD to protect foreign dignitaries. They will
- 4:02Speaker 4: remain in communication with the NYPD throughout the General Assembly.
- 4:06Speaker 4: I want to be clear. There are no known specific
- 4:09Speaker 4: or credible threats against the United Nations General Assembly or
- 4:13Speaker 4: our city at this time.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, most people would say, let's just throw the
- 4:17Speaker 2: UN the hell out of New York. Why are they
- 4:19Speaker 2: even here? Just get rid of them. Let them go
- 4:21Speaker 2: upstate and clog up some place upstate. Put them somewhere else.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Put them on an island. It really is the right
- 4:28Speaker 2: thing to do. But there are some advantages. These UN people,
- 4:34Speaker 2: even these world leaders, it's not just the world leaders,
- 4:36Speaker 2: but thousands of UN people. The world leaders have huge
- 4:42Speaker 2: delegations they bring with them. And these people, one of
- 4:45Speaker 2: the reasons they come to New York, supposedly they have
- 4:49Speaker 2: high-level meetings at the UN. And the real reason they
- 4:51Speaker 2: come to New York is to spend a fortune shopping,
- 4:54Speaker 2: Broadway shows, restaurants. I don't care who they are, where
- 4:58Speaker 2: they're from. They become tourists here. If you go into
- 5:02Speaker 2: the fanciest, finest stores, if you go into Wempe or
- 5:06Speaker 2: Cartier or Bulgari, you'll notice... Behind the counter, there's this big, ugly,
- 5:13Speaker 2: huge industrial machine. It's a cash counter. It counts bills.
- 5:18Speaker 2: You know, like they have in a Las Vegas casino?
- 5:20Speaker 2: Because a lot of these people, especially the Middle Eastern ones,
- 5:24Speaker 2: they show up. The entourage comes into Bergdorf or wherever,
- 5:28Speaker 2: spends $ 400, 000 or $ 500, 000, one visit, and pays in cash.
- 5:32Speaker 2: So they have those cash counting machines. They rent for this.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Or some of them own them and they just put
- 5:39Speaker 2: them away for the year, but they bring them out
- 5:41Speaker 2: UN week so they can quickly count the cash in
- 5:44Speaker 2: these transactions. So they do spend a lot of money
- 5:47Speaker 2: and all these stores put on, uh, extra salespeople to
- 5:52Speaker 2: handle all of this and all the top restaurants get
- 5:54Speaker 2: these idiots all spending a fortune. So they do help
- 5:59Speaker 2: and they spend a fortune in our hotel. So there
- 6:02Speaker 2: is some benefit to, uh, What do they actually do
- 6:05Speaker 2: at the U.N.? Well, they have high-level talks, very high-level
- 6:09Speaker 2: talks about what nobody knows. Most of these talks will
- 6:12Speaker 2: be about how to screw up Donald Trump and how
- 6:15Speaker 2: to help Iran. That's the other problem at the U.N.
- 6:21Speaker 2: There's a great love of brutal dictators at the U.N.
- 6:25Speaker 2: There's a great love of Hamas, of Iran, whatever is
- 6:28Speaker 2: a terrorist organization, the U.N. loves it. In fact, the U.N.,
- 6:34Speaker 2: It says explosive report. It's not. It's just UN craziness.
- 6:39Speaker 2: They put out a terrible report claiming the UN committed
- 6:44Speaker 2: war crimes, war crimes in Iran. Their fact-finding mission is
- 6:51Speaker 2: done by the UN's Human Rights Council. Now, this Human
- 6:55Speaker 2: Rights Council has on it. The worst dictators, the Human
- 7:01Speaker 2: Rights Council is Cuba, Ethiopia, China. It's not to be
- 7:06Speaker 2: taken seriously at all. But they've declared that we have
- 7:10Speaker 2: committed atrocities, war crimes. You know, Iran has deliberately executed
- 7:15Speaker 2: 75,000 of their citizens. If they even dared to protest,
- 7:20Speaker 2: they were shot in the street. Many of them taken
- 7:23Speaker 2: to Iranian prisons and raped and beaten and tortured. But
- 7:26Speaker 2: we Are the war criminals, according to the United Nations,
- 7:30Speaker 2: absolutely ridiculous. Hey, one thing they're going to do at
- 7:35Speaker 2: the UN this week, you know, this AI scam is
- 7:38Speaker 2: going on. This is all a plot, and it's a clever,
- 7:41Speaker 2: brilliant plot. This AI is going to kill us all.
- 7:45Speaker 2: We all have to be in fear. The Democrats, it
- 7:47Speaker 2: was actually, give Obama a lot of credit. He's been
- 7:50Speaker 2: behind the scenes orchestrating this in all sorts of meetings.
- 7:54Speaker 2: He's been flying all over the place to work on this.
- 7:57Speaker 2: They've come up with this. Climate change is not working anymore.
- 8:01Speaker 2: It doesn't work as an election issue. Nobody's afraid of
- 8:03Speaker 2: it anymore. Because if you remember, 30 years ago, they
- 8:08Speaker 2: told us we're all going to be wiped out by
- 8:09Speaker 2: climate change. We're all going to be dead because of
- 8:12Speaker 2: climate change. We're all going to be underwater. Drought will
- 8:16Speaker 2: kill all of us. None of this ever happened. Now,
- 8:19Speaker 2: six years ago, there was the presidential debate. Six years ago,
- 8:24Speaker 2: Bernie Sanders... In that debate, he's the one leading these
- 8:29Speaker 2: climate change charts. He said, we only have six years left.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Let me see if I can find it. Let me
- 8:35Speaker 2: see here. Listen to this. Six years ago.
- 8:39Speaker 1: That if we don't act incredibly boldly within the next six,
- 8:44Speaker 1: seven years, there will be irreparable damage done, not just
- 8:48Speaker 1: to Nevada, not just to Vermont or Massachusetts, but to
- 8:52Speaker 1: the entire world.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Joe said it right.
- 8:55Speaker 1: This is an existential threat.
- 8:57Speaker 2: You know, so that's Bernie Sanders back then. If we
- 9:01Speaker 2: don't do it in six years. Not only a threat
- 9:04Speaker 2: to Nevada, but to the entire world. Six years, that's
- 9:07Speaker 2: all we got. That was six years ago. Everything is fine.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Nothing has happened. And people have started to notice. If
- 9:14Speaker 2: it doesn't rain, they go, that's climate change. But then
- 9:19Speaker 2: if it rains a lot, aha, that's climate change. If
- 9:22Speaker 2: it's hot, climate change. If it's not hot, that's climate change.
- 9:26Speaker 2: So nobody's falling for this anymore. So they've decided to
- 9:30Speaker 2: use AI. This is going to be the new scheme now.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Is there danger to AI? Yeah, probably. There's a little danger.
- 9:37Speaker 2: It can get a little out of control, but I
- 9:38Speaker 2: would think there's ways to fix that. There's some people
- 9:42Speaker 2: that think AI is just Google on steroids, like it's
- 9:46Speaker 2: just Google times a million. No, it's more than that. Yeah,
- 9:49Speaker 2: but most people use it as high-speed Google. It'll look
- 9:52Speaker 2: up things faster than you can, but AI can do
- 9:55Speaker 2: other things. You could have AI alter a picture. You
- 9:57Speaker 2: could have AI go into a website and redo it.
- 10:00Speaker 2: It's not just Google. It can do things. It can
- 10:03Speaker 2: go in there. In fact, the only dangerous things they've
- 10:06Speaker 2: seen from AI is they put it into a system
- 10:10Speaker 2: and notice that the AI figured a way to break
- 10:13Speaker 2: out of the system, to jailbreak the system and get out.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Things like that. But you can put in controls that
- 10:19Speaker 2: would probably stop that. So, again, Obama and others have
- 10:24Speaker 2: come up with this. Just like climate change. The whole
- 10:27Speaker 2: thing was to convince... It's a technique that's been used
- 10:29Speaker 2: for a million years by the left. It started in
- 10:32Speaker 2: the French Revolution. They create this monster boogeyman that you
- 10:36Speaker 2: have to be terrified of. And only they can protect you.
- 10:39Speaker 2: The Republicans won't protect you. Only we'll protect you from
- 10:42Speaker 2: climate change. From AI. So... It's all been coordinated very carefully.
- 10:48Speaker 2: The media is jumping on board. Everybody's listening. They have
- 10:52Speaker 2: to explain it slowly to the real dumb guys, like
- 10:55Speaker 2: Hakeem Jeffries, not the brightest guy in the world, but
- 10:58Speaker 2: he stands there and recites it like a robot.
- 11:00Speaker 5: It's so irresponsible that Mike Johnson and House Republicans have
- 11:05Speaker 5: got out of town before sundown, as opposed to working
- 11:10Speaker 5: in the Congress in a bipartisan way, in a comprehensive way,
- 11:14Speaker 5: to address the urgent issue of AI safety.
- 11:19Speaker 2: It's so urgent that Hakeem Jeffries left town, too. Now,
- 11:23Speaker 2: they timed this perfectly. They're going to use it as
- 11:25Speaker 2: an election issue. So it's right before the election. But,
- 11:28Speaker 2: you know, Congress takes a six-week break right now. Yeah, wait,
- 11:32Speaker 2: don't faint. Yeah. I know, they just took August off. Well,
- 11:36Speaker 2: they come back for a week. They now take a
- 11:39Speaker 2: six-week vacation. It's in the schedule. Six weeks off. So
- 11:43Speaker 2: they timed it. to fall just before the six-week vacation
- 11:46Speaker 2: so they can claim that they all left town and
- 11:49Speaker 2: not do anything about this. Well, four companies basically control AI.
- 11:54Speaker 2: It's a cartel. And the cartel is in on this.
- 11:57Speaker 2: First of all, the cartel, the heads of these four
- 11:59Speaker 2: companies are all very, very left-wing Democrats. They're all very
- 12:03Speaker 2: close to Obama. And the four would love to now,
- 12:10Speaker 2: because they control it all, this cartel owns AI. They
- 12:13Speaker 2: would love to have government regulation all over the place.
- 12:16Speaker 2: They would love a ton of red tape because it'll
- 12:18Speaker 2: keep everybody else out. The big fear these four have
- 12:22Speaker 2: are new companies are coming in and rising up, and
- 12:25Speaker 2: it's very easy to rise up fast and become the
- 12:27Speaker 2: big A. So they want red tape and regulation to
- 12:31Speaker 2: keep the other companies out so the cartel will remain
- 12:34Speaker 2: in control. This happens a lot in hedge funds, other places.
- 12:37Speaker 2: They make a fortune in And then they want the
- 12:40Speaker 2: law change to keep everybody else from doing it. Once
- 12:43Speaker 2: you get everything you want, then you want to lock
- 12:46Speaker 2: the gate and don't let anybody else in. Democrats also
- 12:51Speaker 2: are looking for something else in this. When the internet
- 12:54Speaker 2: search engines first started, Google and all of that, they
- 12:57Speaker 2: were very, they still are, they're very biased, very slanted,
- 13:00Speaker 2: very left-wing. So if you do a Google search, something
- 13:04Speaker 2: in the news or whatever, only the left-wing sites will
- 13:06Speaker 2: come up. The Washington Post will come up first, the
- 13:08Speaker 2: New York Times. The New York Post will come out
- 13:11Speaker 2: on page 27. They're very slanted that way. And they're
- 13:15Speaker 2: very worried in the Democratic Party about an Elon Musk
- 13:17Speaker 2: or somebody. You remember Twitter was very biased. Why? If
- 13:21Speaker 2: you even said the Hunter, the laptop belonged to Hunter,
- 13:23Speaker 2: you were banned forever from Twitter. Even the New York Post,
- 13:26Speaker 2: nation's biggest newspaper, oldest newspaper, lost their account. You could
- 13:30Speaker 2: get banned for saying anything against the left orthodoxy. But
- 13:35Speaker 2: Elon Musk came in and bought it. turned it around,
- 13:38Speaker 2: opened it up, no more censorship. So they don't want
- 13:41Speaker 2: to see that happen with AI. So the Democrats would
- 13:44Speaker 2: love to have control so they can keep it biased
- 13:47Speaker 2: and keep it very biased. AI is pretty biased right now,
- 13:49Speaker 2: if you look at it. On political things, it'll get
- 13:52Speaker 2: you the Democratic stuff, not the Republican stuff. So that's
- 13:57Speaker 2: the reason for it. Jimmy Kimmel, he's a guy who
- 14:01Speaker 2: falls for every Democratic hoax, falls for every fake news story.
- 14:05Speaker 2: He just joins in on it. So, and his audience too,
- 14:09Speaker 2: they just, they have no access to actual information. So
- 14:13Speaker 2: Kimmel last night in the monologue, he said, how do
- 14:17Speaker 2: we get Donald Trump to take AI danger seriously? How
- 14:21Speaker 2: do we get him to do something about AI? And
- 14:23Speaker 2: then Kimmel said, I know how we can do it.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Tell him chat GPT has the Epstein files. And the
- 14:31Speaker 2: audience laughs and applauds. This is going to be the
- 14:35Speaker 2: dumbest position in the world. First of all, Go read
- 14:38Speaker 2: the Epstein files. They're up online right now. There's not
- 14:42Speaker 2: only nothing bad about Trump in the Epstein files, nothing.
- 14:46Speaker 2: But if you read the Epstein files, and you should,
- 14:50Speaker 2: you'll see that not only were they not friends, but
- 14:53Speaker 2: Epstein hated Donald Trump. And there's a million pages of
- 14:57Speaker 2: those files where he's plotting to bring down Donald Trump.
- 15:01Speaker 2: He and that little wormy guy, Michael Wolff, they're plotting
- 15:05Speaker 2: on how to destroy Donald Trump. The only relationship they
- 15:08Speaker 2: had is when he first made a ton of money,
- 15:11Speaker 2: Epstein bought a place in Palm Beach and he was
- 15:14Speaker 2: suddenly a multimillionaire. So he got himself a membership at
- 15:18Speaker 2: Mar-a-Lago and he started spending a fortune there. And Trump,
- 15:22Speaker 2: private citizen at the time, when he owned hotels and
- 15:26Speaker 2: resorts and clubs, if you started a new member, he
- 15:29Speaker 2: would always come over and say hello. And if you
- 15:32Speaker 2: were a new member spending a ton of money, if
- 15:33Speaker 2: you had a party or an event, he'd always stop by.
- 15:36Speaker 2: He does that all the time. You know, if you
- 15:38Speaker 2: rent Mar-a-Lago when Trump is there, if you rent Mar-a-Lago's
- 15:43Speaker 2: ballroom for your wedding and spend enough money, he'll come.
- 15:45Speaker 2: He'll pop into the wedding, go around and take pictures
- 15:48Speaker 2: of everybody. He does that all the time for everybody.
- 15:50Speaker 2: I've seen him do it a million times. There's a
- 15:53Speaker 2: guy I know years ago spent a fortune, like $ 10
- 15:57Speaker 2: million on his wedding. I know, it sounds crazy. Trump
- 16:00Speaker 2: owned the plaza at the time. He threw this wedding
- 16:02Speaker 2: where he booked like 10 major groups, One after the
- 16:08Speaker 2: other to perform. It was like the village people, then
- 16:10Speaker 2: the OJs, and then the spinners. I mean, one after
- 16:14Speaker 2: the other. He spent a fortune. A fortune. And I
- 16:21Speaker 2: was there. I didn't know the guy that well, but
- 16:23Speaker 2: he invited me. It was like midnight. I'm in the
- 16:25Speaker 2: very back of the ballroom just looking. And in comes
- 16:28Speaker 2: Donald Trump at midnight. And so, what are you doing here?
- 16:31Speaker 2: He said, I said, you don't know this guy, do you? No,
- 16:33Speaker 2: I don't know the guy, but I heard what he did,
- 16:35Speaker 2: and I heard what he spent, and I'll say hello
- 16:37Speaker 2: to him. So he popped in. He was there a
- 16:40Speaker 2: total of a minute and a half and said hello,
- 16:42Speaker 2: took a picture with the guy and left. So for
- 16:45Speaker 2: the rest of this guy's life, he said, Donald Trump
- 16:47Speaker 2: and I are so close. We're very close friends. Yeah,
- 16:50Speaker 2: he was at my wedding and he had the picture
- 16:53Speaker 2: and all his friends, you know, he's very close to
- 16:55Speaker 2: Donald Trump. Trump was at his wedding. So that was
- 16:57Speaker 2: the relationship between Trump and Epstein. And if you read
- 17:01Speaker 2: the files, you can see they then became huge enemies
- 17:04Speaker 2: after that little 10-minute friendship. Actually, what broke up Trump
- 17:08Speaker 2: and Epstein, Epstein started stealing employees from Mar-a-Lago. That created
- 17:13Speaker 2: a lot of friction. And then they caught him trying
- 17:16Speaker 2: to pick up a young girl in the locker room
- 17:19Speaker 2: who worked there, a teenager. Turned out it was the
- 17:22Speaker 2: daughter of a member. So Trump had him thrown out
- 17:25Speaker 2: of the club, banned, even called the Palm Beach police
- 17:27Speaker 2: on him. So, hey, we've got a lot more to
- 17:29Speaker 2: get to. We'll get to more on Crazy Mom Donnie
- 17:33Speaker 2: and his latest schemes. We'll get to Lindsay Clancy. We'll
- 17:36Speaker 2: get to Apple and more coming up. Mark Simone here.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Three hours every day, 9 a.m. to noon every day
- 17:43Speaker 2: on 710WOR.
