- 0:28Good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30So, today, we are talking about mantras and how they can turn
- 0:36your life around, how they can truly reprogram you.
- 0:39And, and that's the big thing that's so exciting about it.
- 0:42Is that words program us as human beings words matter, and
- 0:47the meaning we give to the matters and mantras are the the
- 0:51essence of it. So, let me give you a quick
- 0:54explanation to me. A mantra is something that's
- 0:57sacred. It's something that we hold to
- 0:59be very In our hearts and our soul and we repeat it and we
- 1:05have emotion behind it and we fuel it that way as opposed to
- 1:10it like an affirmation to me. It's something affirmations
- 1:13don't hold as much power in my head because I'm just going to
- 1:16say the same thing over and over and over again, but I might not
- 1:20have that sacred part of it. So while some people say they're
- 1:23the same thing and if that's okay if you believe that for me,
- 1:26they're just not I think a mantra is more sacred in my
- 1:29brain. And that's why I want to teach
- 1:32you that language because I think it matters.
- 1:34So if in fact you need a different word, that's okay,
- 1:37figure out what your word is but for me it's Mantra and that's
- 1:40what I like to teach. So today we're going to talk
- 1:42about creating some powerful mantras for yourself.
- 1:45And everyone always asks like well where do I begin?
- 1:48And I think I think an important distinction to remember with
- 1:52this is that you can create these however you want.
- 1:56This is your perfect world, we're talking about, you can
- 1:59focus your mom. Is on your character, you can
- 2:02focus them on things that you want to create in your life.
- 2:05You can focus on pretty much anything out there that you can
- 2:10put into words. You can put it into a mantra.
- 2:15The key here is to keep it simple.
- 2:17Keep them incredibly simple, keep them focused and allow
- 2:22yourself to create ones that you can actually believe and
- 2:27quote-unquote by into. Because the biggest problem that
- 2:30people People have when they create mantras is that they will
- 2:33write them and they won't they don't believe them and they make
- 2:37them so big that they're so hard for their brain to assimilate
- 2:41because they're so far from that outcome.
- 2:43So let's use a money one for example.
- 2:45So if somebody comes and they say I want to, you know, be a
- 2:49millionaire, big goal. If they're not even close to it
- 2:52and they're focused on it and their brain immediately starts
- 2:55to argue with them. Behind the scenes you might walk
- 2:57around and say, I'm a millionaire, I'm a millionaire,
- 2:59I'm millionaire But your brain is like, yeah I just don't buy
- 3:03it and you can feel it in your bones.
- 3:05You can feel the fact that your brain is resisting.
- 3:08Like I don't know how to get there.
- 3:09I don't know how to get there because our brains, always shift
- 3:11to that, how peace and as soon as our brain shifts to the how
- 3:13piece basically you're screwed. You're not going to be able to
- 3:17figure out the the peaceful path of focusing on the Mantra
- 3:21because of course your brain keeps looping around the house.
- 3:25So the key to this is creating mantras that You, you intently,
- 3:32emotionally feel connected to and that you really want to move
- 3:37into as well as the willingness to create them with language,
- 3:42that makes them feel possible the language has to make them
- 3:46feel possible. So the way I would describe this
- 3:50is something like if you want to be a millionaire.
- 3:52Instead of saying to yourself, I'm a millionaire, I'm a
- 3:56millionaire, I'm a millionaire. You might say, the Joseph Murphy
- 4:00has Perfect. One effortless, abundance flows
- 4:02to me and health wealth and success.
- 4:05Now that phrase, which comes from the book, how to attract
- 4:09money by dr. Joseph Murphy that was written.
- 4:11Close to 100 years ago, that phrase the brain can assimilate
- 4:18to because it's not a number. But we're talking about
- 4:20effortless abundance and I love that.
- 4:23That's one of my most favorite ones.
- 4:25In fact, I highly recommend if you have not listened to that
- 4:28book or read that book at any point in time.
- 4:30I'm grab it, do it because he talks about the power of the
- 4:35exactly what we're talking about.
- 4:37And it to me mantras are something that I do personally,
- 4:42every day they are written in my journal.
- 4:46I read them, I have them actually recorded in my phone in
- 4:52voice memos and I can listen to myself.
- 4:54Now, the trick to that one is, please make sure that you record
- 4:57yourself when you're upbeat, I don't want you to sound
- 4:59depressed. And listening to your mantras
- 5:02and being depressed in that voice.
- 5:04If you're doing it all serious, is not going to help you with
- 5:06just going to perpetuate the problem that you have.
- 5:09So you you need to do it in an upbeat strong voice, and you
- 5:14need to listen to them as many times as you can today.
- 5:17You need to write them as many times as you can and day, you
- 5:19need to read them as many times as you can add a because that
- 5:22will keep you on point and there you can't overdose on them as
- 5:27the point the more you do them, the better they get.
- 5:29So Practice this and practice them in levels, you know it's
- 5:34okay to work them and change them over time.
- 5:38Sometimes people will say, oh my gosh, you know I did this and I
- 5:44I don't feel as though I can go back and change it.
- 5:46I set it in stone. No, this is all flexible.
- 5:50You can change them if they don't feel right shift it make
- 5:54it so that it's comfortable and remember, it's your little
- 5:57world. You can change this as much as
- 5:59you need to. So, So, cultivate it the best
- 6:02way you can for yourself and practice, practice, practice.
- 6:06And like I said, you know, do ones that mean something to you
- 6:11have them have a meaning, if they don't have a meaning,
- 6:15you're not going to work towards it.
- 6:16So it's got to be important to you.
- 6:18Okay, my friends, I will see you tomorrow.
- 6:20I hopefully this was helpful and get at it right away, work on it
- 6:25today. Bye-bye.
