- Micaiah: Hello everybody, welcome back. It's your favorite host that you just find so irritating at some points in time. It is your host Captain Boring. It's your favorite podcast that's really just frustrating to listen to. It's as frustrating to listen to us, the 4th and 1 podcast as 4th and 1 from your own 40 yard line. I'm your host, Captain Boring. I am flying solo this week. The other two men are off doing men things, paying bills and taking care of kids. So I'm just going to talk at you for the next little bit. I really didn't have much planned for today. Not a lot is happening in the college football world right now. It is NFL draft season. But I just wanted to come on and talk a little bit about things. I don't even know if I'll post this. Maybe I will. Maybe I won't. A couple things to get you caught up on. The targeting penalties have declined in the NCAA. And they are actually looking to redo how the targeting penalties are. So right now, if you are targeting, which is forcible contact to the head or neck area, of a defenses player or if you lead to the crown of your hand or I guess I should say if you lead with the crown of your helmet you are ejected from the game they are looking to kind of overhaul that and make it to where you're only ejected if it's like an egregious penalty sort of deal. Or maybe you get two and then you're injected and it's just a 15 yard penalty. I have been in favor that there should be two. If you lead with the crown of your helmet, I think you should be thrown out. Because the targeting rule was implemented, number one for player safety, but two to protect the defenseless player as well and try to... prolong football players careers and prevent head injuries for both parties. Not only the, in most cases, offensive party, but also defensive party. So ⁓ I think if you lead with the crown on your helmet, you are not form tackling. You're kind of just launching yourself up in there. I think you should be ejected. If it's just forceable contact to the head or neck area and it's not egregious, I think that's just 15 yard penalty. But if you do it again, It's kind of like in soccer. That would be the yellow card in this situation and leading with the crown of your helmet. That would be the red card. do. I would like the refs to start calling offensive players. Oftentimes you will see a running back kind of break away. Someone coming up from, you know, has an angle coming up to get a stop on him. And you see the running back dip the head and it it to make contact. And it sure does look like he's leading with the crown of the helmet. I think that player should also be ejected. if you're going to call it and make changes, let's just call it both ways. Now that will never happen. It's like holding, right? There was holding on every play. They don't call it every play. But I do think that overall, this is a good thing for the NCAA to do. So kudos to them is make this rule change if they decide to go that way, where maybe not every targeting call is an automatic ejection. they just go the way of the NFL. Everything's just 15 yard penalty and it's on sportsmen or maybe it's an unsportsman like and in football you get two of those before you are ejected. So that is just something to keep an eye on. Also Warren Sapp assistant, he was the D line coach at Buffalo. He resigned to quote, pursue other opportunities. Dion's got to be on the hot seat, a hundred percent. I don't know how you look at the Colorado program and think, ⁓ dude's not going to be on the hot seat next year. They came in, yes, they won a Heisman. Chaudhary Sanders had okay time there, right? I think he was a little too big for his britches there, you know, better than any other Colorado quarterback there ever. Travis Hunter won the Heisman. But ever since then, it wasn't good the first year. It was OK the second year, really bad last year. So we're going to have to see how that goes. I think things are just falling apart. And then there was, for Michigan, there was a coach who was in the NFL and now has been fired because someone came out and accused him while he was at Michigan that Sharon Moore knew about some inappropriate behavior. ⁓ I wanna say ⁓ it was sexual in nature. I'm not sure, I don't remember whether it was rape or just like sexual assault. Either way, not good. And he has been dismissed. And I sent them group chat with no reply that Sharon Moore had the wool pulled over almost every single Michigan fan's Jim Hart, was the... Successor to Jim Harbaugh. Jim Harbaugh wanted him to be the successor. I'm sure Ward Manuel kind of did. Hopefully Ward Manuel did, you know, still, still interviewed him and made sure this was the way to go. But Sharone Moore operated this program. didn't have a, he didn't have a, if you take, if you get rid of all the stuff off the field, which you shouldn't, but let's just put that aside. Let's just put it to the side. Let's not get rid of it. Let's just put it to the side and focus on another bug. He didn't have a quarterback coach. Are you kidding me? For. for Bryce Underwood. He basically bought a Lamborghini and then started putting regular gasoline in it. So no quarterback coach for Bryce Underwood. Apparently he was yelling at the defensive coordinator. Then you look at the bucket and all the other off the field issues. So Kyle Winningham recently cleared house and just got kind of rid of everyone. They got rid of the GM as well. And so no one left is associated with the Harbar era at all. Left at Michigan and it's a fresh start. I think it is needed. There's clearly, there was clearly rule bending at least at worst there was rule breaking way. And then you can, you can get into the semantics on just how much it impacted on field, but that's fine. And that's for another episode. What I want to get into today though, is I want to get into the NFL draft. As I said, the NFL draft is coming up. This is kind of a For college football fan, this is a, you know, sending your quote unquote kid off into the real world. I have watched most of these players for the better part of their entire college career, some more than others. And I basically just want to give my honest opinion. Maybe where they should go, what I think of them as NFL prospects. So this is a, you watch the NFL draft. I do like the NFL draft process. I think it's very bogus, the entire NFL draft process. There are surefire prospects. Or more surefire prospects, but everyone is just guessing, right? Jamarcus Russell was supposed to be the next big thing. We see how he turned out. Tom Brady was the sixth round pick. Jason Kelsey was the sixth round pick. Right. Jaylen Hertz was the second round pick. Patrick Mahomes was like pick 12, I think. Right. He wasn't even first overall. And then sometimes you get surefire locks, know, the Joe Burrows, Josh Allen was picked pretty high. So I just want to again, this is based off of nothing. This is just based off of me watching them in college off of the tape that I saw in college. Now, I will give kind of my honest opinion about them. These are just the top 100 players on ESPN. I'm just going to kind of go down the list, tell you what I think about them, tell you if I think that they should kind of be drafted where where they are. where they're projected to be drafted. And then we'll just, you know, go from there. Again, I'm an armchair quarterback. I'm an armchair GM at best. So you can hate me on the internet, that's fine, but this is just what I've seen over the last couple of years watching most of these kids college career. We'll start with Fernando Mendoza. He is the projected number one overall pick. I would be weary to take him first overall. Cal, yes, it is not the same. level of talent he played with at Indiana or at least a level of grown-up. Maybe the level of talent is, but the roster was significantly older. Everyone knew their role. The coaching definitely was better at Indiana. Fernando Mendoza likes to throw off his back foot. He doesn't play off schedule real well. There was a lot of RPOs. And as we're seeing now with JJ McCarthy in the NFL, win the running game. When you are a running team in college, run the football, play great defense, your quarterback hasn't learned to be in panic mode. Now, Fernando did have to kind of learn that at Cal, so he does have that, but... I saw a lot of quote, well, what I would, what they are now calling in the business from the podcast I listened to is turnover worthy plays. There's a lot of back foot throws. He is a, he is a big kind of, he's six five, two 25. He, I do think he is the best quarterback in this draft. I would not take him first over. Who I would take first overall is David Bailey. He is the fourth overall prospect. He is the defensive edge out of Texas Tech. is 6'3, 250. I saw two plays in the orange bowl that kind that I said, wow, he's just different. Texas Tech lost, got blanked by Oregon, was not the defense's fault. David Bailey jumped maybe 35 inches in the air on two separate occasions to bat the ball down. One time it hit his face mask and the other time it hit the top of his helmet. So it wasn't like even he was hitting it with his hand, arms full extended. He it was he got high enough to where the ball was hitting in his face back and he had a good opportunity to intercept both. place. I'm the Vegas Raiders, you need, first of all, your best trade asset is Max Crosby, who's 29. He could get you multiple first round picks and maybe later round picks or a supplemental player. If you're the Vegas Raiders, you need to... Draft the line of scrimmage. Offensive line, yes. However, there is no top offensive lineman. There's Fano from Utah. He's a tackle. Maybe 6'6", 302. But it's not like if you're going to take someone for an offensive lineman first overall, they better be sure fire number one material. And he's not Spencer's not. There are downsides. There's downsides to every prospect. But Utah, with the two best offensive tackles in college football last year, still lost three games and got dominated by Texas Tech. I'm taking David Bailey. You can either then trade mass Crosby for some first to jump back into the first round. You can either get some players, keep Matt Crosby and then have two edge rushers and start building this defense line of scrimmage. If you put Fernando Mendoza behind the offensive line that you have as Las Vegas Raiders right now, you're doing the kid a disservice. He's gonna have to throw off his back foot more. He's going to have to play more off schedule. He does not, because the Raiders didn't last year. have a running game to support a play action pass deep downfield. Mendoza can make all the throws, but I'm going to go defensive line edge rusher, pair him with Max Crosby or trade Max Crosby and get more first round picks or more draft capital in this upcoming draft so you can build quicker. Arvel Reiss number two, he was outside linebacker. I think he's going to move to edge. He worked out as the calm mining edge. I will say this, the three Defensive players from Ohio State are Val Rees Caleb down Sonny Styles first round picks End point our Val Rees is very good I think Caleb downs though is the best of those three but taking a safety if you're the New York Jets at two That's a hard look for your fan base when your offense. Well your defense was atrocious last year You didn't have any interceptions first time in NFL history that's happened But your offense isn't good either. You're a defensive minded coach. You don't really have a good, Caleb Downs might be the better option. R. Valriese is gonna be more impactful immediately because he's gonna be coming off the edge. However, he played off ball, which means like he didn't rush the quarterback. He kind of rushed and then played pass coverage sometimes. He's going to have to be moved to edge, which is exclusively rushing the passer. Can he do that? I don't know. And that's the downside to Arval Rees. But Arval Rees, Caleb Down, Sonny Stiles, they are all great doubles, as I would say. And if you're the New York Jets, if you're the Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns, New York Giants. Like, don't try to hit a home run. Even the Raiders, don't try to hit a home run in the first round. Just hit a double. Start collecting talent. Hit a double. Because then maybe your third round pick is another double. Well, now guess what? You just scored a run, you know, a baseball analogy. Draft really good players, yes, they might not win right away, but in two years, okay, maybe now you're winning. Unfortunately, the NFL is a short game, at the same time, it's a long game, but at the same time, it's a short game because people want to win now. Fans, owners, investors all want to win now. I think the three defensive players from Ohio State, David Bailey, they should somehow, someway be worked into the top five. Jeremiah Love is very interesting because he, if it wasn't for the Raiders needing a quarterback and probably taking Mendoza, he is a... Sure fire. He's like Saquon Barkley coming out. Saquon Barkley was this highly touted. He was picked, think, fifth overall, maybe even third overall. Great rookie season, popped the second year, then kind of dealt with injuries until he got to Philly. Jeremiah Love can do it all. He can catch, he can block, he's got the speed to pull away from you. He's got the shiftiness in the hole to make you miss. He is the best running back in this class by far. I think he would make a team like the Tennessee Titans very happy because now you have Jeremiah Love and now you have Ken Ward and now you have your two offensive staples at least for the next four to five years. To play with on offense, you got Brian Dable. Who likes a running back quarterback tandem. You gotta fix the defense, but that'll come. I do feel. Like it's easier to have a to build a quote. Well, it's not yet a Makai quote, but kind of like a ⁓ strengthened numbers type defense. If you have depth, you can kind of just keep rolling players out. Yes, you need some playmakers and I'm not saying the Titans can't get that, but I just think that Jeremiah Love with Cam Ward would be an excellent fit. Just because you then you locked down running back quarterback. Love will take some pressure off Cam Ward. He'll be able to do some play action. You got to get him some outside help. You got to work on that defense, but Jeremiah Love to the Tennessee Titans, think would be a steal with their new, with new Brian Dable. So if I was the Raiders, I would take David Bailey. If I was the Jets, I would take Caleb Downs. Again, you didn't have an interception last year. It's hard. And these are asinine picks because obviously the Raiders need a quarterback. And obviously if the Raiders don't take a quarterback, the Jets are going to take Mendoza, right? Like I get the need, but. I have concern over Mendoza. The Arizona Cardinals... They are going to release Kyler Murray as of today ⁓ when the new year starts here in a few weeks in March. It is March 3rd right now. I think it starts like in two weeks or so. So today then is my pick for the Cardinals, Mendoza. They do have a better offensive line and receiving weapons. I think it makes more sense for Mendoza to go to the Arizona Cardinals at three. straight up. I know people hate that, but I just think that I believe that would be the better fit. And that's kind of what I'm doing. I'm kind of playing this game. So the Titans are taking Jeremiah Love. So right now off the board, we have David Bailey. Then we have Caleb Downs. Then we have Fernando Mendoza. Then we have Jeremiah Love at four. The Giants at five. They have Jackson Dart. They have Kam Scataboo. Plus some other what? do the Giants need right now? Well, I think they could use offensive line help. You're in the division with the Cowboys who have half decent ⁓ pass rush. think they could just got Quinton Williams. Philadelphia, absolutely. And then the defensive minded commanders will see what they have to do. So I'm then then taking the tackle Spencer Fanu here at five Cleveland. You got to get something. Are you going to roll with Deshaun Watson? I don't know. I don't know what you're doing at quarterback. Running back is not an option. Could you go wide receiver and Cardinal Tate here? Jordan Thompson, could you go offensive tackle again? Francis Maui Noah from Miami. Hit a double. You could get Ruben Bain. You could go Arval Reiss. Someone they've got, they kind of went Mason Graham last year. They had Miles Garrett. So you're kind of building that defensive line. Why don't you start on the offensive line a little bit? Francis Maui Noah from Miami to Cleveland. Washington, you gotta get defensive help. Your defense was just atrocious, especially against running defense. So I'm taking Ruben Bane. Kind of shorter arms, but good against the great pass rusher in college, good against the run. So if I'm Washington, I'm gonna go ahead and take Ruben Bane. The Saints are very interesting. The Saints offensive minded coach. Now. This is where one of the wide receivers in my mind come off the board and that's either Jordan Tyson or Cardinal Tate. I think you take Cardinal Tate because Ohio State produces NFL ready wide receivers minute one. You can try to argue with me. You will not win the argument. It's minute one. Ohio State has NFL wide receivers, produces NFL ready wide receivers. That's what New Orleans need. They have Tyler Shuck. They have Kellen Moore calling the plays. They have Chris Alave when he's not getting concussed. Let's go with Carnell Tate. At number nine, the Kansas City Chiefs. Lot of needs. Patrick Mahomes. He's locked down, but whether or not he'll be back in time. Travis Kelsey. Rashid Rice may or may not be on the team. Like you just need help on defense. You need help on offense. So where are you going to go at nine? You can go to Jordan Tyson injury history. Arvel Reese would in my draft. Arvel Reese would still be on the board at this point. So you could go with an edge off. The defense does have more pieces. Yeah, Chris Jones is a little old, but they do have other pieces on that defense to make it work. I think you do then take the best available player and that would be Arvel Reiss. And in free agency, you try to get some offensive talent. The Bengals, like, protect Joe Burrow. If in real life, if any of the offensive tackles are on the board, the Bengals need to take them. The sad part is, where they pick a 10, Caleb Lamu from Utah, he's the 16th best overall prospect. So if you're the Bengals, right, you got Jordan Tyson still on the board. You got Falk from Auburn, Denzel Boston. Do you go Kenyon Siddique at tight end? Aki Mesador at edge? I think you take the best, because your defense is atrocious. You take the best available defensive player. In my draft at this time, would be ⁓ Keldrick Falk from Auburn. He's 6'6", 285. He's long, he's strong, he sheds blocks. ⁓ He's got the speed to chase down backs when they run away from him. Again, if he's a double, that's great, but he's gonna have to pan out for this defense and in a hurry. Miami, you're kinda rebuilding. You're probably gonna let two a go, or you did let two a go. You take the tight end Kenyon Sadiq. They're at 11. The Cowboys then Akeem Mezador falls right into the Cowboys lap there at 15. Or he's the 15th overall at 12. Akeem Mezador and Ruben Bane single-handedly ruined of the six Miami games I've watched ⁓ last year, four of them single-handedly. They single-handedly ruined the Notre Dame game on a three man rush. The Ohio State game, the SMU game, which they didn't actually win, but they were game wreckers. And I think that they will be game, both of them have a great chance. The thing with Mezador is he is 25, so he's on the older side. So you're thinking about that second contract, but guess what? If you need a pass rusher now for Dallas, get the pass rusher now for Dallas. LA sitting at 13 is very interesting. think this is where Jordan Tyson could fall off the board. You need that big X wide receiver and Jordan Tyson is that 6'2", 200 pounds. Injury scare is a little bit, but if you have Matthew Stafford, you have Matthew Stafford at least for one more year, the MVP. Give him the best shot to go get you a Super Bowl. That means he needs weapons and he needs protection. And the best weapon at Jordan Tyson is on the, what in my situation would be on the board currently. And so that's what the Rams would take. And he would be a great fit in that offense. Either him or Denzel Boston. Denzel Boston also, he's 64209, a little bigger receiver. Scouts are liking him a little more of recent from what I'm hearing. So give Matthew Stafford another. option on offense to create havoc a new day in Baltimore I Don't know what you do if you're Baltimore. Do you take Denzel Boston? Do you take Caleb Lamu? Do you take Makai Lemon? Do you go defense with either? Mezador Delaney or Jermon McCoy who hasn't played in a year and a half Right? He tours ACL while training in January last year. Or this year, I'm sorry. will he be able to play? I don't know. So if you are Baltimore, I don't know where you go here. Why did you lose? Kind of what happened last year? Well, the defense wasn't really nasty last year. So if you go corner, do you go Dillene? Do you go Peter Woods the defensive tackle? I still think one of the premier problems is the wide receiver position. So let's give them Denzel Boston. Big wide receiver. Lamar Jackson can throw 50-50 balls too. Opposite is Ze Flowers who has had his drop problems. You then get people out of the box for Derrick Henry. And as Lamar Jackson ages, he's probably gonna wanna run a little bit less. So he's gonna need weapons on the outside if you wanna keep this thing going. The New York Jets again at 16. So in my scenario, the Jets took Caleb Downs at 16. Now if you're here, go Caleb Lamo. Okay, so now you have an offensive tackle. You got an offensive tackle for the next couple of years. You got the quarterback. of the defense for the next five years or so. But you got to figure out the offense. So this is assuming you're going to bring in a veteran presence at quarterback. But now you have an offensive tackle. Now you have a safety. The Detroit Lions. They just lost David Montgomery traded them. I still think you got to go defense. If you're Detroit, your defense was, wasn't great last year. The year before it was hurt. know that, but he, it still gave up a ton of yards. So Peter Woods is right here at the defensive tackle. He's a big boy. He's six, three, three, 15 can kind of plug gaps. Maybe eat some double teams for Aiden Hutchinson or get free when Aiden Hutchinson. has is being double teamed. And when I watched at Clemson and I know Clemson kind of fell off, like Peter Woods is one dude, but he's a dude. He would make some plays. You would turn on the Clemson football and he would be in the backfield a handful of times watching it. So if I'm the Lions, I'm going to defense someone like Peter Woods. The Vikings are very interesting because the Vikings need a quarterback. I don't think JJ is going to do it for them. You have the wide receivers. You just released a defensive player, you're running back, and I believe your defensive tackle. They did. Hargraves. So you don't need a receiver. Do you take a corner, one of the corners? Do you take the hunter out of Texas Tech? He would be a defensive tackle. And I think that's where you do go. You replace one for one replacement there. In Minnesota, you bring in ⁓ a veteran presence at quarterback with the wide receivers you already have. Get a running back. in free agency and you go from there. The Carolina Panthers, they are just a young team that just needs to keep growing together. And I think you take Ioni, the guard, so that, because Bryce Young is small, you don't want pressure in his face. Ioni from Penn State had a great workout, 6'4", 330. He can keep kind of interior pressure away from Bryce Young to allow Bryce Young to do what he does best, which is stand in that pocket, even though he's 5'11", and spin that bean, the proverbial bean, all the way around the yard. The Cowboys are again at 20. The Cowboys, I had... Taking a I had them taking mezzadore at 15 now at 20 again. Do you? Do you go Katie McDonald again? Do you go defense? Do you go offense? Do you go corner? I think they go corner and in at this point in time They would go corner best player on the board Mezzanine or Delaney out of LSU Not a shutdown, but you do need defensive help if you're the Cowboys and Dan Oloski seems to think that they are an edge and a secondary player away from making a legitimate run because the offense is going to be good. Well, there is both for you. The Steelers at 21. Boy, do they just need offensive help. If you're at 21, do you roll the dice and take Ty Simpson and the quarterback of the future? And I think the answer is yes. You're the most expensive defense. Your defense isn't is aging though. You don't have a quarterback. You're in. Mike McCarthy will tolerate younger quarterbacks, but he will work a system that brings a long quarterback. So I think if you're the Steelers, you need a quarterback. I don't love Tybe Simpson only having one year, but he was in college one year starting, but he was in college multiple years. Alabama was just atrocious running the ball. So his second half tape last year was on good. This is a perfect spot for the Steelers to take someone like Ty Simpson because when else are you like maybe next year, but even next year, if Ty Simpson doesn't work out with the eight, nine quarterbacks in next year's draft, you can almost have a redo. Take a flyer on Ty Simpson, see what he can do in his rookie year, and see if you can kind of roll that over. So I have the Steelers taking Ty Simpson here. Now, we go to the Chargers. They got to protect Justin Herbert. I don't care what they do here. You could go defense, and that's fine. But I think you go one of the tackles out of Arizona State at a... Monroe ⁓ free-lean max. I'm not even gonna try that last name out of Arizona State or Kaden Proctor You have got to keep Justin Herbert upright He was the most sack quarterback last year I Would probably lean towards the Georgia tackle Because when I watched Georgia games from this last year not a lot of people were getting to Gunner Stockton The Georgia offensive line was fairly good, so I would take the Georgia tackle here. If you're Philadelphia, you might be in the same way. ⁓ You may have one more year. of your right tackle, your center isn't kind of in trouble, your defense is young but kind of set yet. So if you wanted to go another corner because you could move Cooper Dejean to the slot and then take one of these corners, you don't need another defensive tackle. I would go offensive line and again, choose. I would probably take the Arizona State tackle. For how good or how highly touted Caden Proctor was at Alabama, the running game was terrible. And the running game was especially bad when they ran over his side. which was the left side of the line. It just scares me. If you're an elite offensive lineman in college, even if your running schemes are bad, which at Alabama, was it the running scheme? Was it? the ⁓ or was it the players? We'll find out. Time will tell. But let's just say the runnings, the players are okay, the players are bad, but you got Caden Proctor. You can run over, like, you can run over his side more, but the entire offensive line, you could not run, any running play did not work all year long in Tuscaloosa. And I was there for a game and it still didn't work. So I'm gonna stay away from Katie and Proctor. ⁓ If you're Philadelphia, you gotta take Arizona. Again, you can take more with... It's a bigger sign to me if you're kind of at a quote unquote smaller school. Now I know Arizona State's still power four, but if you're a top prospect and you're at Arizona State, that says a lot. That means that you got some talent and your tape is pretty good. So if I'm Philadelphia, I'm helping out the offensive line. Cleveland again. Cleveland again at 24. Where do you go from here? Do you go safety in Dylan Thee- Dylan Thee-man? I said his name wrong. Theen-a-man? From Oregon? I think you just take another corner, one of these other corners. Jerrod McCoy, Colton Hood from Tennessee. You could take Dylan Theen-a-man. ⁓ Chicago. Very interesting. Do you take Emmanuel McNeil Warren out of Toledo? So the Eagles got Quinian Mitchell out of Toledo very recently. You take McMeat near Warren out of Toledo. It's a young team. Defense is kind of the way to go. The last two Super Bowl champions have been that. Buffalo you buffalo needs all sorts of help, but I think you got to go I mean, you could go like, I think if you're Buffalo, you go defense. So Chicago, I'm gonna, they're gonna take Dylan Theenerman. I think if you're Buffalo, maybe you go Kate Impractor here to try to protect Josh Allen. And you got Deion Dawkins yet there, so maybe he can bring along Cain and Proctor. So I think that's where Kay and Proctor goes. San Francisco, just need, actually what San Francisco needs to draft is they need to draft new medical staff because they're always just hurt. The Texans somehow need to keep, they would go offensive line. And I don't really watch a lot of offensive line play, you know, just by the team. So. But all of them are off the board. Their defense is really good, but you got to go offensive side of the ball. So at this point, I would take any offensive lineman that is qualified for them. Los Angeles, the Rams, again, something on offense. Maybe if you get a high level defensive player that falls to you like a Derek Moore from Michigan, like a a Terrell from Clemson. CJ Allen, the linebacker from Georgia. Denver, the Patriots and the Seahawks. If I'm the Seahawks, there's no running back within sight, but that's what you sort of need to replace. Your defense is very, very good and your head coach was at Michigan, understands. What is needed on defense and what his defensive needs you could go Derek Moore there the Patriots I truly believe you got to go offense So you got to go like a wide receiver you need more help For drake may because you were exposed With the limited help you had on offense in the Super Bowl So you go get a wide receiver that is still on the board. I don't even know I don't even know who i've taken off the board anymore So the NFL draft is fun because also when they get to like the sixth and seventh round, I'm just like, I have no idea who these people are, right? Or you're like, wow, he was really good in college, right? So if you're like all the way down to like, know, Jayshon Barnum is 146th ranked prospect, but I watched him all year, I'm like, how is he 146th? He was outstanding this year for Michigan. you can do that with a ⁓ of people. Right? Like Drew Aller, he was supposed to be a top, he was supposed to be a first overall pick. He's 147th ranked prospect. Le'Veon Moss out of Texas A &M, 149. These were all studs in college. But now you let the evaluators get a hold of them, they poke holes in their game. And I'm not saying that it is a science, but what I am saying, is maybe don't hit home runs all the time if you're NFL GMs. K-Tron Allen, 115th ranked prospect. Boy, would I take a flyer on him. I think I thought he was the better of the two backs of Penn State all along. He kind of proved it. I think he's the all time leading rusher. Judarian Price. Like there's some good there's some good talent coming out. There might not be any high level talent, but there are some good, good talent. That'll do it for me today. Thank you for listening if you made it this far. Go ahead, drop in a comment below, you know, who you think. What would you do if you were an NFL GM? Would you kind of, how would you build your team? Quarterback, offensive line, defensive line, like what position group would you take first? I'm gonna take my lines, I'm gonna take a veteran quarterback, and I'm just gonna go from there. Wash your hands you filthy animals. I have been your host, CaptainBoring. Thank you for listening. Till next time. Bye bye.
