Israeli artist explores American dream in "Road Trip"
US-based Israeli artist Yigal Ozeri turns the American landscape into a stage for exploring the mythology of the American Dream in his new solo exhibition, "Road Trip," which opened October 22 at the Zemack Contemporary Art Gallery in Tel Aviv and runs through November 28. In his photorealistic language, Ozeri presents recognizable American symbols – diners, gas stations, motels – in a journey across America, which also reflects his own journey from the familiar to the new.
