- 0:00Speaker 1: I Put with Alexia Napola and Marissa Patton, an iHeartRadio podcast.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Hi guys, it's been a while. Maricel and I are
- 0:09Speaker 1: back in I Put Favored.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Hi, welcome back, Thanks for listening.
- 0:15Speaker 1: We've really missed you, guys. I hope you've missed us
- 0:17Speaker 1: as much.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Of course they did, of course getting dms that people
- 0:21Speaker 2: miss us.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Of course, been busy filming, yes, and there's so much
- 0:26Speaker 1: to catch up on.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Oh my god, we always have a lot to talk about.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I feel like so much has happened
- 0:32Speaker 1: in our lives since our last episode of ipor Forward.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Yeah, stuff happens on the daily.
- 0:39Speaker 1: It's true. We would have to actually be getting on
- 0:41Speaker 1: our podcast every day to updates.
- 0:44Speaker 3: And you you might need to be institutionalized if you
- 0:48Speaker 3: listen to us daily because there's too much going on.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Let's talk about some of the things that have been
- 0:53Speaker 1: going on in our lives, because, as you all are aware,
- 0:55Speaker 1: we are filming our season seven of Real Housewives and
- 0:59Speaker 1: that keeps us pretty busy. And most recently we've gone
- 1:03Speaker 1: on cast trips and we also did the Bravo fan Fest,
- 1:08Speaker 1: which was a lot of fun because it was finally
- 1:10Speaker 1: here in our city, finally getting some much time and respect,
- 1:14Speaker 1: and it was really cool to have Bravo fan. I mean,
- 1:17Speaker 1: it was a small version of the big Brabo fan
- 1:19Speaker 1: that we've gone to in Vegas and New York.
- 1:22Speaker 3: But hopefully it was a lot easier though when it's
- 1:25Speaker 3: in your own backyard and it.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Was different, well that is that is a big bark
- 1:29Speaker 1: and a big plus, but it was a very small
- 1:32Speaker 1: dimension of what really Bravo cons about. But the fact
- 1:35Speaker 1: that we got to host it here in our city
- 1:37Speaker 1: and we're filming was really really cool. We love that
- 1:40Speaker 1: Auntie loves Miami. Well, Miami.
- 1:42Speaker 2: It's like the hottest city in the country.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Right. Who doesn't love Miami? Right? Everybody wants to be here.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Actually everything traffic is horrible.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Traffic's horrible, but everyone's moved here and it were just
- 1:52Speaker 3: like the hottest thing in the country.
- 1:55Speaker 1: We are, you know, and with that comes a lot
- 1:57Speaker 1: of good and a lot of bad. We have so
- 1:59Speaker 1: many new restaurants that I've opened up this year, I know,
- 2:02Speaker 1: like two hundred restaurants. It's crazy. I can't I feel
- 2:05Speaker 1: like that's the thing that everybody does nowadays, you know,
- 2:07Speaker 1: I don't know so much about the clubs, but I
- 2:09Speaker 1: feel like everybody loves to go to like a good restaurant,
- 2:12Speaker 1: have a nice meal, and then it's like the ambiance,
- 2:15Speaker 1: and then you stay and you hang out, maybe there's
- 2:17Speaker 1: a DJ. So we're really enjoying that a lot, and
- 2:20Speaker 1: so is everybody else that wants to live here.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Or entertain at home.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Well, you're really good at throwing parties, and I know
- 2:26Speaker 1: you love that. You recently had one that I couldn't
- 2:31Speaker 1: attend unfortunately.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I was very made, very sad. But all your
- 2:35Speaker 2: gifts are over there by the door, taking from my party.
- 2:38Speaker 3: I had a Christmas gifting luncheon and it was so
- 2:41Speaker 3: much fun, and yeah, some of the girls could come.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Only a few girls could come, and you weren't there,
- 2:48Speaker 3: which made me super sad.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I know. So don't think it's weird guys when you
- 2:52Speaker 1: don't see that I'm in Marysol's Christmas party when you're watching.
- 2:56Speaker 1: And because I was actually hosting something at the at
- 3:00Speaker 1: the Beauty Bar at Alexei and Frankie's, Frankie decided to
- 3:03Speaker 1: have a happy hour last minute at the Beauty Bar,
- 3:06Speaker 1: and Marisa had been planning this party for months now
- 3:12Speaker 1: because she plans with time and on very last minute.
- 3:14Speaker 2: And then my date switched and then my date became
- 3:17Speaker 2: your date, and then we couldn't go.
- 3:18Speaker 1: To each other's right, So then the girls had to
- 3:19Speaker 1: kind of like split up. But you guys will see that.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I don't know that we can talk so much about
- 3:23Speaker 1: the show whatever, but you know, for whatever reason, you
- 3:25Speaker 1: guys love that honestly, like you guys just want to
- 3:29Speaker 1: know everything about it. You know, It's so funny.
- 3:31Speaker 3: I was just talking about this with Alexia. Everyone keeps
- 3:34Speaker 3: trying to make us fight and we don't. We're not
- 3:36Speaker 3: going to do it. Like they're always trying to separate us,
- 3:39Speaker 3: you and me, and divide us and not have this
- 3:42Speaker 3: film together and push us with other people and try
- 3:46Speaker 3: and create a division between us.
- 3:47Speaker 1: But it ain't happening. It's not gonna happen. Not going
- 3:50Speaker 1: to happen. And you were speaking about that, you know,
- 3:55Speaker 1: we you know that we have like, well, a new
- 3:57Speaker 1: girl in the group and she's in your Housewives definitely show.
- 4:01Speaker 1: J and Andy actually finally announced her at the Bravo
- 4:06Speaker 1: FanFest and people like are asking us like around town,
- 4:10Speaker 1: like do you have any connection to her? Like before
- 4:13Speaker 1: the Housewives, and I mean me in particular. I when
- 4:18Speaker 1: when they started recasting the show for season four, I
- 4:22Speaker 1: had heard about her and her husband, and I didn't
- 4:25Speaker 1: know her personally, but I knew about her and I
- 4:28Speaker 1: always thought she would be a great addition, you know,
- 4:31Speaker 1: to the show. I felt like she had so much
- 4:34Speaker 1: to offer, you know, besides her lifestyle. You know, I
- 4:37Speaker 1: think that she's a very you know, smart girl. She's empowering,
- 4:41Speaker 1: and you know, I thought she was good. She's opinionated,
- 4:43Speaker 1: she's strong, she's a Latina. So I always like wanted
- 4:47Speaker 1: her to try her for season four. But we are
- 4:50Speaker 1: like three seasons later, season seven, she tried out and
- 4:54Speaker 1: she was selected, and we're very happy with that.
- 4:56Speaker 2: We are very happy with that selection.
- 4:58Speaker 1: But with that happening, you know, so well there's a
- 5:00Speaker 1: new girl in the group, right, so what happens, so
- 5:04Speaker 1: it shifts the whole dynamic of the group. But again,
- 5:08Speaker 1: I think that we kind of needed that shakeup.
- 5:10Speaker 2: We did, but it wasn't that bad of a It
- 5:12Speaker 2: wasn't too bad of a shakeup.
- 5:14Speaker 3: She kind of fitted, we can't, we can't, you guys,
- 5:19Speaker 3: we're not talking about it anymore, right, No, I mean.
- 5:22Speaker 1: We don't want to give too much away, nor can we, right,
- 5:25Speaker 1: But I'm just saying, like it's the reason why we're
- 5:28Speaker 1: sharing this is because it's public information already. When Andy
- 5:31Speaker 1: announced her, and we do get off that, well, what
- 5:33Speaker 1: was your connection? Well, you guys were going to have
- 5:35Speaker 1: to see you know, I always knew about her Miami.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Even though it's such a big city and it's going
- 5:39Speaker 1: into such a big city, it's still like a tiny
- 5:41Speaker 1: circle of people, you know. And I love that she's
- 5:46Speaker 1: Latina and she's you know, she runs her company with
- 5:50Speaker 1: her husband, and I think like she has a lot
- 5:54Speaker 1: of things to share and good things, you know, to say,
- 5:57Speaker 1: she's been a good addition, and yeah, excited about that.
- 6:00Speaker 1: But you have to watch, yeah, and you guys don't
- 6:02Speaker 1: have to watch.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Oh yeah, did you like it?
- 6:06Speaker 1: Okay, guys, So it's no secretcy. That's the thing. Like
- 6:09Speaker 1: these shows are so different because when we started doing
- 6:11Speaker 1: the show in twenty ten, there was no Instagram, there's
- 6:13Speaker 1: no social media. We would actually get in trouble for
- 6:16Speaker 1: sharing what we were filming. But nowadays they can't control that,
- 6:21Speaker 1: right because we live in this world that everything's on
- 6:24Speaker 1: like our phone and social media and even if we're
- 6:27Speaker 1: not there and we don't post something, somebody else will
- 6:29Speaker 1: do it. So it's no secret that we went to
- 6:32Speaker 1: save Yes Pain for one of our cast trips.
- 6:35Speaker 2: We had to sell cast trips.
- 6:36Speaker 1: We have, but I feel like that was the best one.
- 6:39Speaker 1: It was and by the way, where we're not going
- 6:41Speaker 1: to I was gonna say more. You see, that's why
- 6:43Speaker 1: I can't talk about the housewives, because you know, I
- 6:45Speaker 1: have like we can get a diary of the mouth,
- 6:47Speaker 1: and I talk too much and I just want to
- 6:51Speaker 1: share everything with you guys, and I can't because I
- 6:52Speaker 1: want to get in trouble. But anyways, I just thought
- 6:54Speaker 1: it was the most beautiful trip.
- 6:56Speaker 2: It was a good trip.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Thank you Marathon, don't think me. And anyways, it was
- 7:01Speaker 1: really beautiful. Thank you a breaker and one car Philippe.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Thank you King.
- 7:09Speaker 1: So it was really beautiful. You guys are gonna love
- 7:12Speaker 1: it because Sevilla is a very, very beautiful city in
- 7:15Speaker 1: the south of Spain, and that Lucilla.
- 7:17Speaker 3: We did spend a day wearing Flamenco outfits and it
- 7:20Speaker 3: was gorgeous.
- 7:21Speaker 1: It's very picture incredible. Was that.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like you feel it's it's.
- 7:26Speaker 1: First of all, it's a look that I've always looked on.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I lived in Spain. I actually got to go. It's
- 7:30Speaker 1: quite cool. So I had me with Seviano and I
- 7:35Speaker 1: don't know, I just think it's so beautiful and it's
- 7:37Speaker 1: so part of their culture and the dance. The dance
- 7:40Speaker 1: is so sexy. And we got to dance Seviana Flamenco
- 7:45Speaker 1: and and just hit the town and go to all
- 7:48Speaker 1: the good restaurants in in Sevilla, which they will always
- 7:53Speaker 1: remember us never.
- 7:55Speaker 3: They're never going to forget us in Sevilla, and the
- 7:57Speaker 3: audience isn't going to forget us once they watch that.
- 8:00Speaker 1: They were probably saying, these crazy Americans are coming to
- 8:03Speaker 1: our country and to our city. Well they didn't say that.
- 8:07Speaker 2: I didn't call the Cuban, that's for sure.
- 8:10Speaker 1: So I mean, I really feel like the audience is
- 8:12Speaker 1: going to be so pleased when they see that we
- 8:15Speaker 1: finally got like an incredible trip to Europe, which was
- 8:18Speaker 1: way over dubile that took forever. Yeah, and I love
- 8:22Speaker 1: that it was Spain because Spain is like for us Latinos,
- 8:25Speaker 1: like our mother country. And I lived in Madrid for
- 8:29Speaker 1: many years. My mother lived there for thirty years I
- 8:31Speaker 1: still visited frequently. My sister was born in Salamanca, Spain.
- 8:36Speaker 1: So I have such a dear place in my heart
- 8:39Speaker 1: that I was so happy that I got to share
- 8:41Speaker 1: it with you girls, because it was really incredible.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Yeah, it was really awesome. Thanks bro, Thanks for sharing
- 8:46Speaker 2: your country with us.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Yeah, because it's my country.
- 8:49Speaker 3: You know, my step son's going to go to college
- 8:51Speaker 3: in Spain now too, and I em for me too.
- 8:55Speaker 1: I'm so excited for him because he's gonna have such
- 8:58Speaker 1: a great time.
- 8:58Speaker 3: He's worked really hard to get good grades and he
- 9:01Speaker 3: made it into the school he wanted to.
- 9:03Speaker 2: So next year he's gonna be living in Spain. I'm
- 9:04Speaker 2: gonna miss out.
- 9:05Speaker 1: We know, we need to go visit him.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Yeah, you and I will go.
- 9:09Speaker 1: We has to work, you know, I feel like everybody's
- 9:11Speaker 1: figuring it out and everybody wants to move to Spain.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I should have listened to my mom.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, we never listened to our mother. You know,
- 9:19Speaker 3: we'd been in a lot of different places, I mean,
- 9:22Speaker 3: a much different place. We'd listen to our mothers. But
- 9:24Speaker 3: I'm okay with where I am right now.
- 9:26Speaker 1: So yeah, so guys, so right after our trip, just
- 9:30Speaker 1: to Sevilla. Like if that wasn't enough, my friend over
- 9:35Speaker 1: here thought it was a great idea to go on
- 9:38Speaker 1: a cruise with the girls.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Yeah, listen, we got, you know, a personal invite from
- 9:43Speaker 3: Richard Branson. I'm like, who am I to say no
- 9:45Speaker 3: to Dick?
- 9:46Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Exactly? Well, thank you, thank
- 9:48Speaker 1: you for your connection.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Thanks Dick.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Actually, I feel like that was our best trip ever
- 9:54Speaker 1: because for me it wasn't like the whole experience. It's
- 9:56Speaker 1: for me. It was also like we had such a
- 9:58Speaker 1: good time and we did a great you know, the
- 10:00Speaker 1: girls just needed like we we had so much fun.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I feel like a cruise always brings like happy and joy.
- 10:06Speaker 1: It's like you you think of a cruise and you think,
- 10:09Speaker 1: like some were fun. You want to get wasted, you
- 10:10Speaker 1: want to drink, you want to dance, and there's so
- 10:12Speaker 1: much food. It's just like a whole party first thing,
- 10:16Speaker 1: right y, Like you go with that mentality like you're
- 10:18Speaker 1: gonna have fun. Like I don't know, maybe I'm wrong.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Has anybody had like a bad time at a cruise?
- 10:23Speaker 1: I feel like everybody unless you get sick, Well you
- 10:26Speaker 1: gotta go with fun people, right, Well actually did and
- 10:29Speaker 1: we did you know. I feel like all the girls
- 10:31Speaker 1: were ready for some fun. Yeah, and you guys will
- 10:33Speaker 1: get to see it. That was a good one.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Alexia.
- 10:36Speaker 3: So last week was our puzzle and I didn't go
- 10:39Speaker 3: because I have PADTSD from when I used to throw
- 10:41Speaker 3: all those art bozzel events.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Like I can't even think about driving into that ship hole.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Sorry, oh my god, that disaster. Right, but you went,
- 10:49Speaker 1: how was it? No? I actually didn't. You didn't know. Well,
- 10:52Speaker 1: I was in the middle of it because before I'm
- 10:54Speaker 1: living right now. Yeah, so it was traffic insane. So
- 10:59Speaker 1: you know, we did go to one art party that
- 11:01Speaker 1: we all went to in the friend group, and then
- 11:04Speaker 1: after that, I just went to the girls for dinner
- 11:06Speaker 1: and we had to go like somewhere by there because
- 11:09Speaker 1: the traffic was so terrible. It takes you in two hours.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Miami traffic's bad enough you throwing our buzzle or a
- 11:17Speaker 2: concert at the arena, or a basketball game or a
- 11:19Speaker 2: football game, and you cannot move. We need those flying cars.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Well, that would be scary, especially here in Miami. People
- 11:26Speaker 1: can't drive in a car flying card. I want one,
- 11:30Speaker 1: like all these accidents got forbidding in the air.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Do you know what I saw today. I saw drones
- 11:36Speaker 2: dropping food off in people's yards. Have you seen the
- 11:39Speaker 2: drones that do food delivery? It's so cool, so cool.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I can imagine it could be really cool. Yeah.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, wow, fascinating. We're really jumping into the future.
- 11:51Speaker 1: That's so scary. I'm not ready for that.
- 11:53Speaker 2: I am.
- 11:54Speaker 3: I'm ready for it, and I want to sit on
- 11:56Speaker 3: a drone and just be driven over the traffic in
- 11:59Speaker 3: the sky.
- 12:00Speaker 1: That's possible because it's ninety pounds, but like for other people,
- 12:03Speaker 1: I don't know that. Don't worry.
- 12:07Speaker 3: If it's gonna make money, they'll make it happen. That's
- 12:10Speaker 3: you're own for heavy people to take them across town
- 12:14Speaker 3: and don't.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Just so so. But you also, aside from art Buzzle
- 12:19Speaker 2: and getting stuck in the traffic, you were recognized by
- 12:22Speaker 2: the Miami Herald as one of the six Miami based
- 12:25Speaker 2: taste makers.
- 12:26Speaker 1: How is that? Oh? That was fun.
- 12:29Speaker 2: I'm so proud of you. Very well deserved.
- 12:32Speaker 1: So yeah, I was in the art Bozzel special edition
- 12:35Speaker 1: that they put in the Herald.
- 12:36Speaker 3: The Herald insert that's like, if let me tell you
- 12:40Speaker 3: guys something. I used to have a pr firm and
- 12:42Speaker 3: if I could get a client of mine in the
- 12:44Speaker 3: Miami Herald Art Bozzele insert was like the biggest coup
- 12:49Speaker 3: so for you to get in.
- 12:50Speaker 1: There, thank you, it was huge. Right. I guess my
- 12:53Speaker 1: hair is a piece of art because it was kind
- 12:55Speaker 1: of like my thing like this like my sexy thing,
- 12:57Speaker 1: like my beauty thing, and it's really my hair, you know.
- 13:00Speaker 1: I feel like my hair identifies me. Well if everybody
- 13:05Speaker 1: like the segment that I was in, it was like
- 13:07Speaker 1: what I was recognized for. And I feel like people
- 13:09Speaker 1: recognize me for like for many things, but in this case,
- 13:15Speaker 1: it was about my blonde hair. Like I feel like
- 13:17Speaker 1: a lot of people don't want like my blonde color.
- 13:20Speaker 1: They want like my curls, they want like whatever they
- 13:22Speaker 1: want my hair.
- 13:23Speaker 2: I want your eyes. Your eyes are awesome.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Oh thank you.
- 13:26Speaker 2: I'm so proud of you. Once that come out, it
- 13:28Speaker 2: already came out. Oh I tried it to come out.
- 13:31Speaker 2: That was last week.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Weeks the week right, and so it comes out right
- 13:34Speaker 1: before our boso because it's like the answert like what
- 13:38Speaker 1: to watch out for and like different things like that.
- 13:40Speaker 1: So yeah, I was sorry.
- 13:42Speaker 2: I was all busy and we don't get the hair
- 13:44Speaker 2: out here.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Neither do I, but my friends did. Julia brought me
- 13:46Speaker 1: the even and Aina also saw it and she texted me.
- 13:52Speaker 1: So a lot of people, which, by the way, I
- 13:54Speaker 1: love the people still get a newspaper even though I
- 13:56Speaker 1: don't receive it. I still love for people to receive
- 14:00Speaker 1: I didn't go on my fingers and all over my shad.
- 14:02Speaker 1: You feel like that doesn't happen anymore because everything's so advanced.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I know back in the day I didn't like to
- 14:05Speaker 1: read the paper because of that, and then right after
- 14:08Speaker 1: I read it or touched it, I would make everybody
- 14:10Speaker 1: go and wash their hands who had touched it. But
- 14:13Speaker 1: with that being said, I still like appreciate that people
- 14:17Speaker 1: still get, you know, the paper at home and they
- 14:21Speaker 1: read it and and that's how I found out about it.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Actually, I can't remember the last time I saw a
- 14:26Speaker 3: paper in anyone's yard on this.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Street and does everything online. But again I still think
- 14:34Speaker 1: that I love the idea of receiving the paper be able.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Maybe I'll subscribe to it again because I used to
- 14:39Speaker 1: receive the newspaper too.
- 14:49Speaker 2: What did you do with Thanksgiving?
- 14:50Speaker 1: So that was before Boso. So I am doing things
- 14:53Speaker 1: for Thanksgiving because I actually loved that holiday. I never
- 14:57Speaker 1: actually cooked myself because I think that in my house
- 15:00Speaker 1: because we weren't American that way. You gotta let young no, no, no,
- 15:05Speaker 1: you loved an American Thanksgiving. But what I'm saying is
- 15:08Speaker 1: like my mother, like my grandmother, my family wasn't like
- 15:11Speaker 1: they didn't know how to do the turkey, you know,
- 15:12Speaker 1: like they wanted it, like it's hard to do good turkey, right,
- 15:15Speaker 1: So we never we always celebrated Thanksgiving. And by the way,
- 15:19Speaker 1: I love the American traditional Thanksgiving like I'm in a
- 15:22Speaker 1: mota like that day for me is American turkey. You know,
- 15:26Speaker 1: the corn bread, the stuffing, the cranberry, the mashed potatoes,
- 15:29Speaker 1: the green beans, the sweet potato with a marshmallow. You
- 15:33Speaker 1: love food. I love food, but I love good food,
- 15:35Speaker 1: and I love Thanksgiving and American Thanksgiving like I have
- 15:38Speaker 1: no patience for the people that is Thanksgiving and I
- 15:41Speaker 1: want to eat like boyd, I'm like, can't you wait
- 15:43Speaker 1: till like the twenty fourth or they want to eat
- 15:46Speaker 1: like hip but not on Thanksgiving.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Do you remember that time when we were in your
- 15:51Speaker 3: house we were filming Season one and made the pig,
- 15:56Speaker 3: and I love it. When I was eating all the
- 15:58Speaker 3: crunchy skin, and they were they were like room tone,
- 16:02Speaker 3: which means you're supposed to be silent. You can't make
- 16:04Speaker 3: any noise when production tells your room tone. That means
- 16:07Speaker 3: microphones are getting like.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Thank god, they don't die anymore, by the way, I know.
- 16:10Speaker 2: And all you can hear is me crunching.
- 16:14Speaker 1: And then we saw a bo and then we saw
- 16:16Speaker 1: like a hair because you know, the pig has like
- 16:18Speaker 1: those hairs, hair vibers, and you're stop chewing. I just
- 16:23Speaker 1: wanted you to stop because there was like a hair,
- 16:25Speaker 1: and it's like the pig's hair, you know. There It
- 16:27Speaker 1: was delicious though, I hair, But you know, I still
- 16:31Speaker 1: after all these years, I loved the American Thanksgiving, and
- 16:36Speaker 1: that's how I celebrated the American way. Like I don't
- 16:40Speaker 1: want to have white rice that day or pork or
- 16:43Speaker 1: black things. I'm more into that. What about you, I
- 16:48Speaker 1: did you cook anything? No? I didn't.
- 16:50Speaker 3: We went to the yacht club with Hunter and his
- 16:52Speaker 3: girlfriend and my other step son, Garrett was home sick,
- 16:57Speaker 3: and then we went Then they went to see her parents,
- 17:01Speaker 3: and then Steve and I went to see his parents
- 17:03Speaker 3: and his sisters, and she.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Did more like.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Turkey sandwich bar, but had all the sides. But then
- 17:12Speaker 3: it was like build your own sandwich type of it.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Yeah, it was all sides and then build your own.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Yeah it was.
- 17:20Speaker 2: It was quite clever and it was a smart.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Way to do it. I like that. I've never heard
- 17:23Speaker 1: of that.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Yeah, it was good. I didn't have any of it, though.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Would it look good? How you can every there and
- 17:31Speaker 1: not eat anything? Because I wasn't.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Hungry and I can hear him go, So I'm like,
- 17:37Speaker 2: you I.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Do that, guys when I love the food, I'm like,
- 17:42Speaker 1: it's just just like you hear it and taste it.
- 17:44Speaker 3: But when you take a sip of champagne or drink
- 17:47Speaker 3: and you're like, like.
- 17:49Speaker 1: It tastes so good. So, speaking of that, I went
- 17:53Speaker 1: for Thanksgiving dinner because I wasn't doing it this year,
- 17:57Speaker 1: like you know, as a family, just like with Peter
- 17:59Speaker 1: obviously with Peter and his girlfriend and Frankie. So just
- 18:02Speaker 1: as four and we went to Prime one twelve and
- 18:07Speaker 1: it was spectacular. I mean, I feel like the steakhouses
- 18:11Speaker 1: that day we want to go out to dinner. That's
- 18:13Speaker 1: another thing, you know, I've been seeing that. I don't
- 18:14Speaker 1: know if it's trending or not, because I don't really
- 18:16Speaker 1: look at TikTok, but I can tell you Alexia is
- 18:19Speaker 1: saying that I feel like a lot of people are
- 18:21Speaker 1: going out to dinner for Thanksgiving and you know, just
- 18:24Speaker 1: not like cooking at home because there's so much work,
- 18:27Speaker 1: you know, and then all your guests just get there,
- 18:29Speaker 1: eat and they get up and they go, and it's
- 18:30Speaker 1: really hard to find help that day. Also, right, oh,
- 18:32Speaker 1: nobody wants to work. So maybe since like or I'm
- 18:35Speaker 1: living and stuff, it's very like touristy, so a lot
- 18:37Speaker 1: of people, you know, from out of town. So all
- 18:40Speaker 1: the restaurants were super full, Prime one twelve. The food
- 18:44Speaker 1: was incredible, the best sides, and then you could choose
- 18:47Speaker 1: whether like the turkey or like steak, but you know,
- 18:50Speaker 1: we all chose turkey. It's funny by all of us
- 18:53Speaker 1: chose turkey. We like love the American turkey traditional Thanksgiving.
- 18:57Speaker 1: And then I run a tape and Jodie Lee's way
- 19:01Speaker 1: with el and like our tables were write next to
- 19:03Speaker 1: each other. So that was that was fun, and that
- 19:06Speaker 1: was like really sweet because you know that Lisa is
- 19:08Speaker 1: always so nice and sweet, and when she sees us,
- 19:10Speaker 1: you know, we're like so happy to see each other. Yeah,
- 19:13Speaker 1: and then we blew some candles for ell and our birthday.
- 19:19Speaker 1: She had just celebrated her birthday like a few weeks before,
- 19:22Speaker 1: but not like with the cake and stuff like that.
- 19:24Speaker 1: So it was actually a really nice evening. And you know,
- 19:29Speaker 1: because it's like you say, you know, sometimes it's like
- 19:31Speaker 1: your friends or like your family. Oh my god. Yeah,
- 19:34Speaker 1: so it was really nice. And she insisted for us
- 19:36Speaker 1: to your and you know, Peter and Frankie love you know,
- 19:40Speaker 1: we all like love each other and our kids. So
- 19:42Speaker 1: you Logan was in New York, so she was missing Logan, so,
- 19:46Speaker 1: you know, without even planning it, it turned out to
- 19:48Speaker 1: be like a really nice, you know, Thanksgiving. So what
- 19:52Speaker 1: are you going to do for Christmas? Uh, I'm not
- 19:56Speaker 1: there yet. No, I'm not there yet. Christmas is a
- 19:59Speaker 1: little bit more complicated for me. I feel like Christmas
- 20:05Speaker 1: has always been like really I love Christmas. It's like
- 20:08Speaker 1: my favorite holiday. But it's like bittersweet because it reminds
- 20:12Speaker 1: me like when I was growing up, like when my
- 20:14Speaker 1: parents were divorced. So it was like am I going
- 20:16Speaker 1: with my dad? Am I going to stay with my mom.
- 20:19Speaker 2: So hard when your parents I'm any more.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Terrible, Like I would leave my mom, but I'll be
- 20:23Speaker 1: with my dad. It was always like I was never happy.
- 20:26Speaker 1: You didn't get up.
- 20:27Speaker 2: I don't yes the twenty fourth and.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Mode, but it doesn't matter, Like even if I okay,
- 20:32Speaker 1: so if we celebrated the twenty fourth and I would
- 20:34Speaker 1: be with my mom, but then that would hurt my
- 20:36Speaker 1: dad's feelings. So then on the twenty fifth, I would
- 20:37Speaker 1: be with my dad. So I feel like since I
- 20:40Speaker 1: grew up with that, like from a divorce, you know,
- 20:42Speaker 1: with divorce parents, and with that struggle, like I never
- 20:48Speaker 1: allowed myself to be happy. Like to me, it was
- 20:50Speaker 1: like I wanted it to get over it. I was
- 20:52Speaker 1: like I didn't even want to the holidays because I
- 20:54Speaker 1: knew it was always going to be a problem. And
- 20:56Speaker 1: when they were going to be fighting for us, they
- 20:58Speaker 1: both wanted to be with us. You're still carrying that
- 21:01Speaker 1: with you. Childhood trauma. That's a real thing, baby, And
- 21:06Speaker 1: you have your childhood traumas too. I do. I'm just
- 21:09Speaker 1: very open and I talk about them. Some people don't,
- 21:12Speaker 1: but for sure, that's a childhood trauma that has a
- 21:15Speaker 1: lot to do with why I don't like certain holidays.
- 21:19Speaker 1: And yeah, so for me, it's like I get excited
- 21:22Speaker 1: because I love Christmas because it's so beautiful, like the
- 21:25Speaker 1: meaning of.
- 21:25Speaker 3: It, significant presents and buying presents and giving presents and
- 21:30Speaker 3: getting presents.
- 21:31Speaker 1: It's beautiful. And it's also like and New Year's don't
- 21:33Speaker 1: even get me started. I hate that day, like the
- 21:36Speaker 1: last day of the year.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Really, since when I always just about it.
- 21:41Speaker 1: I never saw what You've never asked me because you
- 21:43Speaker 1: don't like to talk about those things. Like, no, I know,
- 21:48Speaker 1: Thanksgiving doesn't bother me. Thanksgiving is a different thing, but Christmas,
- 21:52Speaker 1: I do feel like that. And and you know, and
- 21:55Speaker 1: then New Year's for me, it's kind of like it's
- 21:59Speaker 1: a last day of the year. And then you start
- 22:02Speaker 1: reflecting about all the year, you know, everything that you
- 22:06Speaker 1: you know, lived that year. It's like bittersweet. You're kind
- 22:09Speaker 1: of excited what's to come. You know. I'm always welcoming
- 22:12Speaker 1: and looking forward to the new year, and I'm always like,
- 22:15Speaker 1: it's going to be a great year, right.
- 22:17Speaker 3: Yeah, everybody goes into it that way. Yeah, turning the page,
- 22:20Speaker 3: starting fresh.
- 22:21Speaker 1: So but I to me, it's still it's like I
- 22:23Speaker 1: think it's a day that's like overrated. Everybody wants it
- 22:25Speaker 1: to be something that's true. It's always overrated. Yeah, and
- 22:30Speaker 1: so I really don't look forward to it. Rather like
- 22:32Speaker 1: last year we went on a trip. We actually were Madrid,
- 22:36Speaker 1: trying to know our Madrid, and we had a great time.
- 22:39Speaker 1: We had a great time. Johnny was there, and I
- 22:41Speaker 1: feel like because I was on a trip from you,
- 22:43Speaker 1: it was more like a trip. It wasn't like it's
- 22:46Speaker 1: the last day of the year and you're in your house.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Like I really didn't have to make acai, you know,
- 22:51Speaker 1: I didn't have to think about it.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Well, these are quite interesting and new and peculiar things
- 22:56Speaker 2: that happen.
- 22:56Speaker 1: You know, you're deep, my friend, You're very deep and
- 22:59Speaker 1: quite to kill you. Well, no, I feel like a
- 23:02Speaker 1: lot of people feel exactly like me, and you know no,
- 23:05Speaker 1: and even like kids they came from divorce parents and
- 23:10Speaker 1: lived in you know, they they've they've gone through that.
- 23:13Speaker 1: So it's like you don't want to hurt your mom
- 23:14Speaker 1: or your dad. If you go with your dad, then
- 23:17Speaker 1: oh my god, I feel bad for my mom. But
- 23:18Speaker 1: it's my mom gonna feel So I always felt I
- 23:20Speaker 1: was always like in the struggle. And again, I had
- 23:23Speaker 1: two very loving parents that adored us and they both
- 23:26Speaker 1: wanted to be with us. And then you know, that's
- 23:29Speaker 1: that's the story. And I feel like a lot of
- 23:31Speaker 1: parents and children, you know, go through those things. So
- 23:34Speaker 1: you know, just just be careful, you know, because again
- 23:37Speaker 1: you didn't know I had that childhood trauma. Yeah, and
- 23:40Speaker 1: you know, and I never really disgusted with my parents,
- 23:43Speaker 1: but I kind of like don't like Christmas because of that.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Oh my god, we need to like change this shit around.
- 23:50Speaker 3: You need to enjoy Christmas. Christmas is such a lovely holiday.
- 23:53Speaker 1: No, I love it, Like I said, it's like bittersweet,
- 23:55Speaker 1: Like I love it to me, like the significance, the
- 23:58Speaker 1: time of year, everything like you said, the presence, like
- 24:01Speaker 1: the decoration, the energy, like I love it. But if
- 24:05Speaker 1: you even read about it, there's a lot of depression
- 24:08Speaker 1: in this time of year. So it's a lot you
- 24:12Speaker 1: just want to be like, you go, hey, it's fun,
- 24:14Speaker 1: it's so beautiful. You got to like it. Oh yeah,
- 24:15Speaker 1: that's all great, but you can't, you know.
- 24:18Speaker 3: And I miss my parents at Christmas and spending with
- 24:21Speaker 3: my brothers. They do their own thing because now my
- 24:23Speaker 3: parents aren't around. They always make sure we were always
- 24:26Speaker 3: together for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter.
- 24:28Speaker 2: But now my parents are gone and not forcing everyone together.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Everyone does their own thing.
- 24:32Speaker 2: So I just spend an hour with Steve and his family,
- 24:35Speaker 2: and it's you know, there's always that boy, like, where's
- 24:38Speaker 2: my family?
- 24:38Speaker 1: Oh yeah, of course, so absolutely so same. And you know,
- 24:42Speaker 1: this year for me too, is going to be kind
- 24:45Speaker 1: of strange as well, peculiar, like you like to call it, right,
- 24:50Speaker 1: But I mean, anything can happen. I mean I'm always
- 24:52Speaker 1: like open and happy and you know and whatever and
- 24:55Speaker 1: accepting of everything. But I just feel like Christmas is
- 25:00Speaker 1: a tough holiday, especially when you don't have your loved
- 25:03Speaker 1: ones here like her parents. Yeah, and you know, and yeah,
- 25:08Speaker 1: it's it's just hard. So what's your favorite part about
- 25:11Speaker 1: celebrating Christmas?
- 25:12Speaker 2: Getting presents?
- 25:14Speaker 1: I love getting I like that part. And Steve's a.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Really good gift giver. He puts so much start into
- 25:21Speaker 2: every gift. Every even if it's a little thing.
- 25:23Speaker 3: He'll have like twenty eight little presents and you know,
- 25:27Speaker 3: maybe one or two are like really big, and then
- 25:30Speaker 3: everything else is super meaningful. He remembers all these things
- 25:33Speaker 3: throughout the year. That all will have said or just
- 25:37Speaker 3: said that I like.
- 25:38Speaker 2: And then he remembers and he has it and I'm like.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Oh my god, you remember that.
- 25:42Speaker 2: He's like, yeah, I listen to you. He's a good
- 25:45Speaker 2: listener and he's a very good gift giver.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I love that.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Apart from receiving presents, we also love to give gifts.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Yes we do. And we do an annual toy drive.
- 25:57Speaker 1: And I know this year in your Christmas party you
- 25:59Speaker 1: collected to so you were collected toys here. I was
- 26:02Speaker 1: collecting toys at the Beauty Bar and we're donating them
- 26:06Speaker 1: to Voices for Children, which is an incredible organization here
- 26:10Speaker 1: in Miami.
- 26:11Speaker 2: For foster children, for foster care foster children.
- 26:14Speaker 1: And yes, we we love to give back, you know
- 26:17Speaker 1: as well always what Well, you definitely went all out
- 26:21Speaker 1: for your decorations. Yeah, because why she has like two
- 26:26Speaker 1: Christmas trees. Well, I think you should even see one
- 26:28Speaker 1: back here right now, as soon as you walk into
- 26:30Speaker 1: her house, there's two beautiful Christmas trees.
- 26:33Speaker 2: I had fifteen Christmas trees on my property.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Like a winter wonderland.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Was it was beautiful for my I had a Christmas
- 26:44Speaker 3: reset recharge after our puzzle, so reset and recharge for
- 26:47Speaker 3: Christmas luncheon. So there was you know, ivs and facials
- 26:53Speaker 3: and treatments and gifts.
- 26:54Speaker 1: And any way we do Christmas parties in Miami. IVS.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Listen, after our basle, everyone's like dead, You're like flattened out.
- 27:03Speaker 3: You don't want to do anything. You can't go anywhere,
- 27:05Speaker 3: and then you got to get your energy back for
- 27:07Speaker 3: Christmas and you don't want to get sick. So it
- 27:09Speaker 3: was like a like a recharge on health. It was
- 27:12Speaker 3: a health and wellness lunch and it was quite fun and.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Everyone wored pjs.
- 27:16Speaker 3: And we had a beautiful lunch and you know, it
- 27:18Speaker 3: was good, and we collected toys.
- 27:21Speaker 2: It's a lot of fun.
- 27:21Speaker 3: And I always go over the top and I like,
- 27:24Speaker 3: I love a decor and themes and tabletop, Like I
- 27:28Speaker 3: just go bonkers with that stuff.
- 27:30Speaker 1: You're so good with that. I mean, I like it
- 27:32Speaker 1: and I appreciate it, and I love that you love
- 27:34Speaker 1: to do that. I used to be better. But you
- 27:37Speaker 1: have to have a lot of time, you know, I
- 27:39Speaker 1: have like a guta have the liking for it, but
- 27:43Speaker 1: I just don't have the time.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Yeah, you have to have the time to sit and
- 27:47Speaker 3: imagine and come up with the diis and the creativity.
- 27:51Speaker 3: You definitely need some time. I make time because I
- 27:54Speaker 3: love doing it. You know, you make time for the
- 27:55Speaker 3: things you love. You go on your walks. I don't
- 27:58Speaker 3: go on walks because I don't make time.
- 28:00Speaker 1: But you make time for Yeah, I guess we do.
- 28:02Speaker 1: And that's really like what you story for. You need
- 28:04Speaker 1: to do the things that make you happy and bring
- 28:06Speaker 1: you joy and bring you peace and comfort. And you know,
- 28:11Speaker 1: but I just don't like to walk anywhere. Let's make
- 28:13Speaker 1: that clearer. I like to walk where I can see
- 28:15Speaker 1: the ocean, walking with purpose, talking with the purpose. It's
- 28:19Speaker 1: not so much like where I'm walking to. I like
- 28:22Speaker 1: to disconnect, but it needs to be like a pretty
- 28:24Speaker 1: walk like I love the ocean. You know, I feel
- 28:27Speaker 1: like it gives me a lot of energy. And you know,
- 28:30Speaker 1: while I'm walking, you know, I'm praying and I'm envisioning
- 28:34Speaker 1: things and you know, so it's like therapeutic for me. Absolutely.
- 28:37Speaker 1: So you know, I like it because it makes me
- 28:39Speaker 1: feel good. That's how I like to do it too.
- 28:41Speaker 1: I got to see something beautiful if I go on
- 28:43Speaker 1: a walk.
- 28:45Speaker 3: If you see me on a walk, which you might
- 28:47Speaker 3: not ever, but if you do, know that I'm taking
- 28:50Speaker 3: in the nature and I'm manifesting. So at the end
- 29:02Speaker 3: of the year coming up, do you reflect on how
- 29:06Speaker 3: the year went?
- 29:07Speaker 1: Well. I feel like I'm reflecting constantly to right and
- 29:14Speaker 1: thank you because my friends also make me reflect and
- 29:16Speaker 1: I'm part of this friend group that I feel like
- 29:18Speaker 1: they're always making you self reflect and you know, I
- 29:22Speaker 1: feel like self reflection is a big part of growing
- 29:25Speaker 1: and growth, and I've had a lot of growth this
- 29:28Speaker 1: year personally in my own journey. Not because I wanted it,
- 29:32Speaker 1: but it was necessary and it's what like I had
- 29:35Speaker 1: to do, and I just think it's been really good
- 29:38Speaker 1: for me. You know, I think it's really good. Sometimes
- 29:42Speaker 1: you're the only person that can figure it out.
- 29:44Speaker 3: You're always and the universe just hands your things whether
- 29:49Speaker 3: you want them or not.
- 29:50Speaker 2: Because they want you to learn and figure things out,
- 29:53Speaker 2: and only you can figure to one.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Me like I learned my lesson. Please, I know I
- 29:58Speaker 1: talked to the universe.
- 29:59Speaker 2: I was like, yes, they have the universe has a
- 30:04Speaker 2: mind of tone.
- 30:05Speaker 1: It's not up to me, right, no, But you know,
- 30:08Speaker 1: I feel like it's it's an important process. You know
- 30:13Speaker 1: that we all have to go through you know, sometimes
- 30:16Speaker 1: you have to go through pain, you know, to appreciate
- 30:18Speaker 1: pleasure and enjoy. And you know, I think that all
- 30:23Speaker 1: these life lessons just you know, make you stronger. So
- 30:26Speaker 1: I'm always self reflecting because I want to be better.
- 30:29Speaker 1: I want to be a better person. I'm always trying
- 30:31Speaker 1: to learn more about myself and learn about those that
- 30:35Speaker 1: I love. So and I love a lot of people,
- 30:38Speaker 1: so I'm always.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Trying to so many there's only a handful.
- 30:43Speaker 1: But I mean it's like lettle money die. Like humans are,
- 30:46Speaker 1: they're difficult. You know, it's hard to you know, to
- 30:49Speaker 1: kind of like people understand everyone and a lot of times,
- 30:52Speaker 1: you know, we love people and we love difficult people,
- 30:55Speaker 1: so we want to like understand them better because you
- 30:59Speaker 1: don't want them in their life. You know. Fixing is
- 31:02Speaker 1: a big job and it's a big word. I don't
- 31:04Speaker 1: think anybody fixes anybody. But I feel that you you know,
- 31:09Speaker 1: you could get better. You know you could get better,
- 31:12Speaker 1: and you can. Like I said, this entire year for
- 31:14Speaker 1: me has been about self reflection, about self awareness, about
- 31:21Speaker 1: just just thinking for everybody, what about for you? Like,
- 31:24Speaker 1: don't you think it's been a year about like relationships,
- 31:26Speaker 1: or maybe that's just my phone that listens to everything
- 31:28Speaker 1: I talk about I think, and everything I get is
- 31:32Speaker 1: like about you know, self care, self love, relationships, and
- 31:38Speaker 1: and my awareness.
- 31:39Speaker 3: That's what you're looking at. And when I was looking
- 31:43Speaker 3: for help in that genre and that moment in my life,
- 31:46Speaker 3: that's what was coming up on my phone.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Now I'm just.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Okay, how do we turn it off? Okay, I already got.
- 31:51Speaker 2: On, honey, I don't know.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Yeah, phone, yeah, I done.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Mine shows me like cooking recipes and people was extreme
- 32:00Speaker 3: plastic surgery.
- 32:02Speaker 2: That's what I'm getting on my phone. People are doing
- 32:05Speaker 2: some weird shit to themselves. That's what I'm looking at.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Oh my god. Well, we don't have time to talk
- 32:11Speaker 1: about Lindsay Lohan's transformation, because it's pretty good. I think
- 32:15Speaker 1: I'm going to book her doctor. She looks good. Well
- 32:17Speaker 1: it's the same doctor. But she's very young. She's thirty eight. Well,
- 32:20Speaker 1: I mean she has just super young. She shouldn't have
- 32:22Speaker 1: had any such jobay, but she in her case, she
- 32:25Speaker 1: started doing a lot of these people start doing a
- 32:27Speaker 1: lot of things at a very young age, which we
- 32:29Speaker 1: didn't do. So of course she's thirty eight, but she
- 32:32Speaker 1: looked like she was fifty.
- 32:34Speaker 2: How about Donna Tella Johnna?
- 32:36Speaker 1: That's photoshop, isn't it? Because that I don't know, No
- 32:40Speaker 1: that I don't think that that's I think it's just photoshop.
- 32:42Speaker 1: In Lindsay's case, I think it's real. Just like Demi
- 32:45Speaker 1: Moore and Broad Pitt. I believe they all went to
- 32:47Speaker 1: the same doctor. And we need to book them before
- 32:51Speaker 1: all like booked for the.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Last ten years before his hands break.
- 32:56Speaker 1: And what about you? Have you done any reflection this year?
- 32:59Speaker 2: Not really, I'm feeling pretty good.
- 33:03Speaker 1: I hate you how hard it is to talk to her.
- 33:06Speaker 2: But I've reflected in the past on many things. It's
- 33:09Speaker 2: not a reflection here for me. It's like savoring living
- 33:13Speaker 2: in the moment. And I'm loving where I am right now.
- 33:15Speaker 2: You know, I'm not in a reflecting moment. I'm going
- 33:18Speaker 2: to enjoying the moment.
- 33:22Speaker 3: Cheers to that, and God bless hope I stay in
- 33:24Speaker 3: this moment because I don't want to go back to
- 33:26Speaker 3: those reflecting moments.
- 33:28Speaker 1: They're hard. I mean, they don't have to be painful
- 33:30Speaker 1: like moments. You know, they could be a little bit
- 33:34Speaker 1: of everything. But I just feel like, unless we take
- 33:37Speaker 1: that time and we self reflect, there's no growth, and
- 33:40Speaker 1: we want to continue to grow in every aspect of
- 33:44Speaker 1: our life, you know, not only in our personal relationships,
- 33:47Speaker 1: but you know, in our professional as a mother, as
- 33:50Speaker 1: a daughter, you know, like just like in general, as
- 33:52Speaker 1: a friend, you know, as a humanitarian, always so many things.
- 33:56Speaker 3: You know, I always want to be better and better
- 33:58Speaker 3: than I was. Yes, always, So yeah, you know that.
- 34:03Speaker 3: I guess that's a form of self reflection.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Yeah, but you know, I feel like the good thing
- 34:08Speaker 1: about both of us is that we stay positive. So
- 34:10Speaker 1: for the new year, for twenty twenty five, my mindset
- 34:14Speaker 1: is always positive, optimistic. Yep. I know God has a
- 34:18Speaker 1: planned and I've always known that, and you know, whatever
- 34:21Speaker 1: it is, I'm ready for it. I'm accepting it, and
- 34:25Speaker 1: I'm embracing it. And I'm just grateful because you know, we.
- 34:30Speaker 2: Got to be grateful every day every day we wake up, all.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Is good health. All we need is good health so
- 34:38Speaker 1: that I can be here around because I need to
- 34:40Speaker 1: take care of a lot of people. But yeah, you know,
- 34:44Speaker 1: I'm I'm I'm happy, you know, I'm happy where I
- 34:47Speaker 1: am today. Good, And it was like until I want
- 34:50Speaker 1: to be herry, Yeah, and I'm looking forward to twenty
- 34:53Speaker 1: twenty five too.
- 34:55Speaker 2: I'm very excited about twenty twenty five. I feel like
- 34:57Speaker 2: some good shit's gonna happen.
- 34:58Speaker 1: I feel like we say that every year, you know, I'm.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Really like feeling like good vibes for twenty twenty five.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Good because you know what, it's been a hard year,
- 35:07Speaker 1: not only for me, but for so many people. Yeah,
- 35:10Speaker 1: for so many people. And I'm grateful. I'm not even
- 35:12Speaker 1: complaining or like acting as a victim at all, because
- 35:15Speaker 1: I have a great life and I'm grateful as long
- 35:17Speaker 1: as I have good health. Everything else is secondary and
- 35:21Speaker 1: I know that. But you know, I'm always gonna I'm
- 35:24Speaker 1: always going to stay optimistic and positive. Like that's just hard.
- 35:28Speaker 1: That's something about you.
- 35:29Speaker 3: I actually learned to be more positive and optimistic through you.
- 35:32Speaker 3: You're always positive, You're always optimistic.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Yay, bro. No, I mean it's the only way to live.
- 35:37Speaker 1: I mean, like, life is hard. You know, life is hard,
- 35:41Speaker 1: and it's harder for some more than for others. Yeah,
- 35:45Speaker 1: so the only thing you got is your spirit and
- 35:48Speaker 1: you cannot let anybody break your spirit.
- 35:51Speaker 2: And hell no, don't let anyone break your spirit.
- 35:54Speaker 1: People, you know, we're gonna have bad days and that's okay.
- 35:57Speaker 1: And we're gonna go through shit and that's okay too,
- 36:00Speaker 1: as long as we learn from it and not make
- 36:01Speaker 1: the same mistakes. But you know, we need to stay strong,
- 36:05Speaker 1: and we need to stay grateful, and we need to
- 36:07Speaker 1: stay positive.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Did you do you make Do you ever make resolutions
- 36:11Speaker 2: for New Years? Or do you just skip that whole thing?
- 36:13Speaker 1: No, what I'm making resolutions are your long Like for me,
- 36:17Speaker 1: it's not just like, oh, the end of the year,
- 36:18Speaker 1: because I feel like a lot of people it's like
- 36:20Speaker 1: the end of the year and it's like, okay, let's
- 36:22Speaker 1: write our goals. Let's write the resolutions. I want to
- 36:25Speaker 1: work on this, that and the other. I feel like
- 36:28Speaker 1: I have I do this like month to month or
- 36:31Speaker 1: even weekly, you know, like I'll be driving I'll be like, Okay,
- 36:34Speaker 1: I need to work on this this and not this week.
- 36:36Speaker 1: You know, it's good to be prepared mentally and kind
- 36:39Speaker 1: of have like a mental list saying, well, these were
- 36:41Speaker 1: things that I did in twenty twenty four that I
- 36:43Speaker 1: really want to work on for me personally. But you know,
- 36:47Speaker 1: I feel like that resolutions too is like overrated. It's like, okay,
- 36:51Speaker 1: it's like a way to like I'm going to write
- 36:52Speaker 1: this that you want to keep something, and it's the
- 36:54Speaker 1: same stupidity like oh, I want to lose weight, I
- 36:56Speaker 1: want to work out, you know, you know, blah blah blah. Right, yeah,
- 37:04Speaker 1: well now with those impic I'm sure people don't even
- 37:06Speaker 1: put that anymore. For me. Instead of resolutions, I like
- 37:10Speaker 1: to use the word goals, like I like to like
- 37:12Speaker 1: set goals for myself, and then what I do is
- 37:16Speaker 1: and actually I owe a lot of that to Todd
- 37:18Speaker 1: because Todd loves to do that as well, and so
- 37:21Speaker 1: we would do it sometimes as a family. We did
- 37:23Speaker 1: it a few times as a couple. And so what
- 37:26Speaker 1: I like to do is do like general broad goals.
- 37:29Speaker 1: It's so funny because I would do them for like
- 37:31Speaker 1: Alexi and Frankie's beauty bar. Then I would do them
- 37:33Speaker 1: for Alexia personally. Then I would do them like it's
- 37:36Speaker 1: my relationship, and then I would do them with my kids.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Like what I want to call it a work. It's
- 37:41Speaker 1: a lot of work, baby, And think what it brings you,
- 37:43Speaker 1: like self awareness, like it kind of like you connect
- 37:46Speaker 1: and say, wow, these are like a lot of things,
- 37:49Speaker 1: but you know how gratifying it is to like sit
- 37:51Speaker 1: there after and check everything off and say I did this,
- 37:54Speaker 1: I accomplish this. So this year, because I have a
- 37:57Speaker 1: lot of things that I want to do with the
- 37:59Speaker 1: beauty bar, I'm going to make those goals again.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Of course you are.
- 38:02Speaker 1: I'm going to make those goals again, especially a lot
- 38:04Speaker 1: of marketing things I want to do. So for the beauty.
- 38:07Speaker 1: It's so funny because for me, for the business, it's
- 38:09Speaker 1: always easier to check it off, and the personal it's harder.
- 38:13Speaker 3: It's harder well because sometimes personal depends on other people
- 38:16Speaker 3: and then you can't control that.
- 38:18Speaker 1: And because I'm so exherented, like what's axpherenting, demanding, demanding. Yeah,
- 38:25Speaker 1: like you know, with myself, I feel like I'm hard
- 38:26Speaker 1: on myself. So I'm like, okay, whatever, me too. Yeah.
- 38:30Speaker 1: So I'm like, it's just easier just to like hire
- 38:33Speaker 1: a social media manager, hire three more girls, you know,
- 38:36Speaker 1: send us one to training for lashes, like for that,
- 38:38Speaker 1: Like I could get all that done like in a week.
- 38:41Speaker 1: But then the other stuff that's kind of like ongoing,
- 38:44Speaker 1: like about yourself and your life, that's that's a little
- 38:48Speaker 1: bit more work. Listen, We're working progress.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Every damn day is a work in progress.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Yeah, well I think we're going to wrap it up,
- 38:57Speaker 3: and you know, we really want to wish everyone a
- 39:02Speaker 3: my Christmas, happy happy Holidays, Happy Holidays exactly, Happy New Year.
