- 0:22Speaker 1: it's a terrible fit. We'll tell you why. It look
- 0:24Speaker 1: perfect choice sports and gambling scandal just rock in the
- 0:28Speaker 1: NBA and these people morons. They're saying it's bad for
- 0:31Speaker 1: the sports.
- 0:32Speaker 2: They don't know anything exactly. We'll tell you why. It's
- 0:34Speaker 2: clearly good for the sport.
- 0:36Speaker 1: And uh An NFL Kilb did something that's just so troubling.
- 0:40Speaker 1: If you're not troubled by it, well then you're an idiot.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Sat on you Yeah, on the subject to idiots, look
- 0:45Speaker 1: over that, Tony, because we got a situation we got
- 0:48Speaker 1: to address with our producer over there. First of all,
- 0:50Speaker 1: you know you were just that Fanatics festival New York,
- 0:53Speaker 1: right thanks to the massive appearance fee that you were given.
- 0:56Speaker 1: You know, people were wondering why I wasn't there. Well,
- 0:59Speaker 1: you know they thought five million was for the both
- 1:01Speaker 1: of us. Now that was five million each. That was clear. Well, Tony,
- 1:06Speaker 1: tell everyone how your time went there.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Well, you know, I'd like to show you how it
- 1:11Speaker 3: went there, but unfortunately our idiot producer over there lost
- 1:17Speaker 3: all the footage. Yeah dummy, good job, I didn't. I
- 1:21Speaker 3: didn't lose the footage. I just haven't had time to
- 1:24Speaker 3: offload it yet.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Oh oh, I see he's got to offload it. Yeah, well,
- 1:29Speaker 2: why you do that. I'm going to offload into your mom. Yeah.
- 1:34Speaker 2: There you go. Yeah, backfired on you. Anyway.
- 1:36Speaker 1: We'll get all that footage when our producer gets around
- 1:39Speaker 1: through it. But in the meantime, if you don't want
- 1:41Speaker 1: to miss it, make sure you subscribe. You like this video,
- 1:45Speaker 1: also follow the pod your rate and review the pod
- 1:48Speaker 1: on Apple Podcasts. And you know, we see the numbers
- 1:50Speaker 1: out that people millions of downloads per episode. Meal, you
- 1:54Speaker 1: only got like two hundred reviews out there.
- 1:56Speaker 2: What do you do?
- 1:56Speaker 1: People have the same work ethic as our producer over there.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 2:01Speaker 4: I have other things to do.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Oh, other things to do?
- 2:04Speaker 1: Yeah, like dying.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Yeah, here's something for you to do. Shut up, yeah exactly.
- 2:08Speaker 1: All right, Look, we got a lot to do on
- 2:10Speaker 1: this show, so let's get right into our top story story.
- 2:16Speaker 2: All right.
- 2:16Speaker 1: First, out the gate a gambling scandal just rocking the
- 2:19Speaker 1: NBA Diston's player Malik Beasley under investigation in a gambling probe,
- 2:25Speaker 1: accused of betting on games that he played in affecting
- 2:28Speaker 1: the outcome of those bets.
- 2:29Speaker 2: YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 2:30Speaker 1: You know, Frankly, I don't see what the outrage is
- 2:33Speaker 1: all about here, right, don'ty.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Yeah, me neither.
- 2:36Speaker 3: You know, what do we always say the best players
- 2:38Speaker 3: in any sport do control the game exactly. Nobody controlled
- 2:45Speaker 3: the game better than Malik Beasley, especially late in the
- 2:49Speaker 3: fourth quarter clutch time, you know, when he would either
- 2:52Speaker 3: force a turnover or more usually deliberately turn the ball
- 2:57Speaker 3: over himself. You know, just total control of both sides
- 3:01Speaker 3: of the game.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Terrific analysis that doty. And you know, with all these
- 3:05Speaker 1: gambling companies you know now working with the leagues, I
- 3:08Speaker 1: don't see why they're prosecuting players for gambling on these games.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I mean, they should be encouraging it, don't you'll think
- 3:15Speaker 1: so dumb?
- 3:15Speaker 2: Of course?
- 3:16Speaker 3: You know, imagine if you could get betting advice from
- 3:20Speaker 3: the actual players, Like what if you know Lebron James
- 3:24Speaker 3: came out before the game and said, bet on me
- 3:27Speaker 3: to miss more than twenty shots. Everybody would be taking
- 3:31Speaker 3: that bet. These companies would be swimming in cash.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Such smart advice, Dony, and that's why we're going to
- 3:37Speaker 1: take it ourselves. In fact, we have an exciting announcement
- 3:41Speaker 1: for all of you out there about our betting app,
- 3:43Speaker 1: full scope Bet, America's number one fastest growing betting app.
- 3:48Speaker 1: We are adding an exciting feature for all premium subscribers,

- 3:56Speaker 1: to directly message an active NBA player and ask them
- 4:00Speaker 1: how many points they're going to score in that night's game.
- 4:04Speaker 1: You know, it's not just limited to the NBA, right,
- 4:06Speaker 1: You'll be able to contact players across several sports including NFL,
- 4:11Speaker 1: European soccer, and Russian men's tennis. Just please note fullsco
- 4:16Speaker 1: Bet is not liable if you happen to be murdered.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Go ahead download the fullsco Bet app.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Naw.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Yeah, very exciting development there for everybody.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Absolutely, and talking about exciting developments here, Tony. The Knicks
- 4:30Speaker 1: just announced they've hired four mccalvs and Lakers coach Mike
- 4:34Speaker 1: Brown to be their new head coach, and Tony, this
- 4:38Speaker 1: was just the perfect choice wasn't it.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Oh, totally.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Nobody understands Knicks culture better than Mike Brown.
- 4:45Speaker 2: He can get them back to their roots. Sucking.
- 4:48Speaker 3: You know, the Knicks will becoming too good and that's
- 4:52Speaker 3: not what Knicks basketball is all about. This guarantees them
- 4:56Speaker 3: a first round playoff exit and at the very worst,
- 5:01Speaker 3: a second round loss. You know, whatever the case, the
- 5:04Speaker 3: Knicks are solidly back on track.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Just terrific basketball analysis, Tony. And you know another reason
- 5:11Speaker 1: why this is an upgrade, Donny. My sources tell me
- 5:14Speaker 1: that so many people inside the Knicks organization we're getting
- 5:17Speaker 1: tired of having to remember how to spell Tom Thibodeau totally.
- 5:21Speaker 1: You know, like emails were getting kicked back. It was
- 5:23Speaker 1: just like total chaos. But now they won't have that
- 5:25Speaker 1: problem anymore, you know, No.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Mike Brown, very easy to spell problem. Sore problem solved.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Done.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Well.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Now let's move to the NFL, where, in a stunning move,
- 5:37Speaker 1: the Dolphins announce that they will be trading with the
- 5:40Speaker 1: Giants for Tight and Darren Waller, even though Waller retired
- 5:44Speaker 1: after the twenty twenty three season. Now many people will
- 5:47Speaker 1: questioning this move, saying it's stupid, not us, right, Donny, No.
- 5:51Speaker 3: I mean, I've never understood why the Dolphins don't go
- 5:54Speaker 3: after more retired players. You know, nobody knows the culture
- 5:59Speaker 3: in Miami better than retired people. You know, there's tons
- 6:03Speaker 3: of retirees in the area, and what do we always
- 6:06Speaker 3: say matters most with the player experience exactly. Sure, you
- 6:11Speaker 3: know they may be slow and out of shape and frail,
- 6:15Speaker 3: sickly and have early on set dementia, but hey, you
- 6:20Speaker 3: never have to worry about them breaking curfew because they're
- 6:23Speaker 3: in bed by seven pm.
- 6:25Speaker 2: I'm surprised more teams don't do this, Nay to donni.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I mean, when you think about it, if you only
- 6:31Speaker 1: try to sign active players, well there's only a handful
- 6:34Speaker 1: you could choose from totally. If you look at retired players,
- 6:38Speaker 1: well then there's tens of thousands out there actually, and
- 6:41Speaker 1: you know so many of those players are not potential
- 6:45Speaker 1: Hall of famers but actual Hall of famers.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Yep.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Frankly, I don't see why the Dolphins even went for
- 6:51Speaker 3: Darren Waller.
- 6:52Speaker 2: When Tony Gonzalez was sitting there.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Available, great boy, Tony, I was thinking the exact same,
- 6:58Speaker 1: thank you guy.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, Well to move on here.
- 7:00Speaker 1: We turned our attention to one of the big QLB
- 7:03Speaker 1: battles broughing in the league, this one on the Cleveland Browns.
- 7:07Speaker 1: We have several klbams Batlan for the startup position. Now,
- 7:10Speaker 1: many peopball idiots, you think Shadia Sanders should get the
- 7:14Speaker 1: starting job, don't.
- 7:16Speaker 2: That's clearly the wrong move here is one hundred.
- 7:19Speaker 3: There's no better quarterback to lead the Browns than Joe Flacco.
- 7:22Speaker 3: You know, people forget that Joe Flacco once beat DeMar
- 7:27Speaker 3: Hamlin for Comeback Player of the Year. You know, think
- 7:30Speaker 3: about that Damar Hamlin died and came back to life.
- 7:34Speaker 2: That's the ultimate comeback.
- 7:37Speaker 3: And still everyone agreed Joe Flacco's comeback was even better.
- 7:42Speaker 4: You know.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Right now, there's no DEBTA franchise than the Browns, so
- 7:46Speaker 3: Flacco's clearly their best option, you know, unless Nick Foleson retires.
- 7:51Speaker 3: But our sources tell us that's not happening, you know,
- 7:54Speaker 3: of course, our source being Nick Foles himself.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Exactly. You got great inside reporting there by us. But hey,
- 8:00Speaker 1: why we're talking nfl qbindos. We do have to mention
- 8:03Speaker 1: this Patriots quarterback Drake May just got married to his
- 8:07Speaker 1: girlfriend and Michael Hudson who he's known since middle school.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Now payball, they're saying this is sweet, wonderful, YadA YadA,
- 8:15Speaker 1: dony If you're a Patriots fan, you've got to find
- 8:19Speaker 1: the scrubling, don't you.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Oh totally.
- 8:21Speaker 3: This really just makes me question Drake May's decision making.
- 8:25Speaker 3: You want a quarterback who looks at different options at receiver,
- 8:30Speaker 3: Drake May clearly just went with his first option. He
- 8:33Speaker 3: didn't even bother looking at any of the others. I mean,
- 8:36Speaker 3: where do you think the term playing the field comes from?
- 8:40Speaker 2: Exactly?
- 8:41Speaker 1: I mean, you know, you look at Patrick Mahomes, married
- 8:44Speaker 1: his high school golfriend. He never even bothered looking at
- 8:47Speaker 1: all the options, exactly.
- 8:49Speaker 3: And that's why he had to become a running quarterback,
- 8:52Speaker 3: because he was just so bad at looking around.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Yep.
- 8:55Speaker 1: And you know you look at the other side of this,
- 8:57Speaker 1: don'ty Aaron Rodgers never met dating different actresses, bouncing around,
- 9:02Speaker 1: you know, exploring too many options, paralysis by analysis, just
- 9:06Speaker 1: whole decision making, could never seem to find the right fit.
- 9:10Speaker 1: And now look, just bouncing from theme to theme, you
- 9:13Speaker 1: know exactly.
- 9:14Speaker 2: You know that's why Jalen Hurts did it right.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Sure, Yep, he met his girlfriend in college, which is
- 9:21Speaker 3: a little too early, little early, yeah, but you know
- 9:24Speaker 3: he waited to propose, He explored all the options, read
- 9:28Speaker 3: through all the progressions, and before settling back on his
- 9:32Speaker 3: college sweetheart.
- 9:33Speaker 2: You know, just great field awareness.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Exactly, absolutely Tony, and we're talking, you know, around this subject.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Let's turn our attention to the WNBA the women, you know,
- 9:44Speaker 1: which again is something we never thought we'd actually say
- 9:47Speaker 1: that we must turn our attention from him. But anyway,
- 9:49Speaker 1: several controversies brewing there. First, in a recent players only vote,
- 9:54Speaker 1: the players ranked Caitlin Clark ninth among all guards in
- 9:59Speaker 1: the league. Some people that's saying, God, that's jealousy. This
- 10:03Speaker 1: is stupid, Donnie. They don't get it, do they? No,
- 10:06Speaker 1: not at all. You know, by definition, what does a
- 10:09Speaker 1: god do keep people out? That doesn't just apply to players,
- 10:15Speaker 1: but fans in the arena too. There's so many other
- 10:18Speaker 1: WNBA players who are so good at guarding and keeping
- 10:23Speaker 1: fans out of the arenas. You know, when you think
- 10:26Speaker 1: about it, the less fans you have in the stands,
- 10:29Speaker 1: the less distractions, the more you can focus on basketball.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Caitlin Clark is terrible at keeping fans out of the Arenas,
- 10:39Speaker 3: so in my opinion, she should actually be ranked way lower.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Just undebatable points all around that, Donny. And you know,
- 10:47Speaker 1: a lot of players in the WNBA they're still chirping
- 10:51Speaker 1: about their salaries because that they had, you know, forty
- 10:53Speaker 1: times less than the average NBA player. But they're not
- 10:56Speaker 1: seeing the big picture, are they at dony No.
- 10:58Speaker 2: They don't get it.
- 10:59Speaker 3: You know, I know this might sound somewhat controversial, but
- 11:03Speaker 3: I think it's great that WNBA players are so underpaid.
- 11:08Speaker 3: You know, they play hungry because they're actually hungry, you know,
- 11:13Speaker 3: since they're all underpaid and can't afford to live. You know,
- 11:16Speaker 3: you could see their hunger to win and also to eat.
- 11:21Speaker 3: You know, NBA players are so spoiled and lazy with
- 11:25Speaker 3: their huge salaries in their full stomachs, it takes away
- 11:29Speaker 3: their hunger and also slows them down because you know,
- 11:34Speaker 3: all the food in the stomach. You know, personally, I
- 11:37Speaker 3: think the WNBA players should be paid even less.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Controversial, Danke, Dunny, but must be said, you know, and
- 11:45Speaker 1: you know, when you think about it, what's the most
- 11:48Speaker 1: successful movie franchise of the century, The Hunger Games exactly?
- 11:53Speaker 1: You know, if they called it the full stomach Games.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Nobody would see the movie.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, the WNB is basically just the Hunger
- 12:02Speaker 3: Games in real life, just with more lesbians.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Great point that, Tony, All right, well look, you know
- 12:09Speaker 1: we got some dime left in the show is so
- 12:12Speaker 1: you know, it's July. So we're gonna do it because
- 12:14Speaker 1: we understand the sports doc business better than anybody else, Tony.
- 12:17Speaker 1: And what you do in July, you don't sit and
- 12:19Speaker 1: come up with a bunch of days a waste to die.
- 12:23Speaker 1: What you do is you just open the phone lines
- 12:25Speaker 1: and you let other people come up with the tanks
- 12:27Speaker 1: and you just sit back and you go out that relax.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Good. That was bad, usually bad.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Anyway, We're gonna do that coming up after the break.
- 12:36Speaker 2: We'll be right back. We all know.
- 12:37Speaker 1: The worst part about having clothing, lawn, chaundry. There you go, Well,
- 12:41Speaker 1: what if you never had to do laundry again? Well,
- 12:44Speaker 1: there's one simple way by there you go. That's why
- 12:49Speaker 1: you gotta hit up our sponsor, Fresh Clean Threads.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Isn't that right, Tony?
- 12:54Speaker 3: I haven't done my laundry in two years, and that's
- 12:58Speaker 3: all because I bought eight one hundred shirts from Fresh
- 13:02Speaker 3: Clean threads. This shirt is comfortable, looks great, feels soft,
- 13:08Speaker 3: and best of all, I'm saving money by not having
- 13:12Speaker 3: to buy laundry detergent. I don't even know how to
- 13:16Speaker 3: use a laundry machine. Yep, thank you, Fresh Clean Threads.
- 13:20Speaker 1: All you gotta do is go online right now to

- 13:45Speaker 1: That is, all right, anyway, go to Fresh Cleanthreads dot

- 13:59Speaker 1: We're back from bray Tony. As we said, it's July,
- 14:02Speaker 1: and you know, when you're in July, it's hot. You know,
- 14:06Speaker 1: July is all about you just fill in space. You're
- 14:08Speaker 1: fill in the ad time, you know, and we're great
- 14:09Speaker 1: at that. But even we have our limits, you know,
- 14:12Speaker 1: So what we're gonna do is we're gonna open up
- 14:14Speaker 1: the phone lines, get some takes from you out there.
- 14:17Speaker 1: See what you got to say? Yeah, you know, probably
- 14:19Speaker 1: wind up regretting this, but let's go ahead and open
- 14:23Speaker 1: up the hot take hotline. Okay, producer, people they've been
- 14:31Speaker 1: sending in their videos with their takes. Hopefully it didn't
- 14:34Speaker 1: lose the ball like it did with the fanatics for actually,
- 14:37Speaker 1: you know, hopefully you can offload these, can you. Yeah
- 14:42Speaker 1: he's just staring at you. Okay, Yeah, he's angry. Okay,
- 14:45Speaker 1: look well here do your job. Tell us who's the
- 14:47Speaker 1: first first video you got back?
- 14:49Speaker 4: Yeah? First got this one's from Caid in Los Angeles.
- 14:53Speaker 1: All right, Caid in Los Angeles, all right, play the clip,
- 14:56Speaker 1: go hot take.
- 14:58Speaker 5: Jalen Hurd says not a top ten quarterback. Top ten
- 15:03Speaker 5: Josh Allen, Mahomes, Burrow, Herbert Lamar, Stafford, Jaden Daniels, C. J. Stroud, Baker, Mayfield,
- 15:11Speaker 5: Jordan Love.
- 15:13Speaker 1: All Right, First of all, that deake was terrible from
- 15:17Speaker 1: the get go. You know, first of all, you went
- 15:19Speaker 1: too fast. You gotta slow that exactly. I thought your
- 15:22Speaker 1: people in La moved slow. You know, they were laid back,
- 15:25Speaker 1: you know exactly, and they just going through fast. And
- 15:28Speaker 1: number two is that take was so backwards. Did you
- 15:31Speaker 1: see his shirt.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Downy, Yeah, it was backwards. The shirt was backwards, and
- 15:35Speaker 2: then the Laker's logo on it.
- 15:37Speaker 3: The logo was back He doesn't even know what the
- 15:39Speaker 3: lake is logo supposed to look.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Doesn't exactly, doesn't know what the logo looks like.
- 15:43Speaker 3: None.
- 15:43Speaker 2: That went back to typical la what.
- 15:46Speaker 4: He was shooting in selfie mode, so it reverses everything.
- 15:50Speaker 4: That's why it was backwards.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Well, you should shoot your selfie if you catch my drift.
- 15:57Speaker 2: You know what else I do backwards? Your mom?
- 16:01Speaker 1: There you go, shut up, shut up to tell us
- 16:04Speaker 1: who's next with the next video?
- 16:07Speaker 4: Liam from Canada?
- 16:08Speaker 2: All right, Liam from Canada, I play it go.
- 16:12Speaker 6: Barkley is the greatest basketball player of all time. Yeah
- 16:16Speaker 6: you heard me, Basketball not football. People say, Liam, that's insane.
- 16:21Speaker 6: Sac one plays in the NFL. To that, I say,
- 16:24Speaker 6: position irrelevant?
- 16:26Speaker 2: What is this? You know? This is why we can't
- 16:31Speaker 2: like Canadians on the show. They don't know anything anything
- 16:34Speaker 2: about sports. I don't even think he knows what a
- 16:36Speaker 2: sport is.
- 16:37Speaker 3: No exactly, you know, it's probably because it's freezing cold
- 16:41Speaker 3: up there that his brain cells froze over.
- 16:43Speaker 1: His brain cells. Yeah, they froze over.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Short.
- 16:50Speaker 4: What it's summer in Canada now, it's it's like seventy
- 16:55Speaker 4: five degrees in Toronto right now?
- 16:57Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well it's going to be seventy. I have
- 17:00Speaker 1: one hundred degrees and you're a pot that when I
- 17:02Speaker 1: light it on fire.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Yeah, just shut up already, you know, just just play
- 17:07Speaker 3: the next one.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Can you just play the next one? And stop interrupted? Stop?
- 17:10Speaker 2: All right?
- 17:11Speaker 1: Although I gotta say, Tony, I actually guided the interruptions.
- 17:14Speaker 1: You know, these takes are so terrible. I can't decide
- 17:16Speaker 1: which is worse. Yeah, I have to agree with you,
- 17:19Speaker 1: all right?
- 17:19Speaker 2: Anyway, all right? Who's this next one? From?
- 17:21Speaker 4: This one is from Kyle in Canada?
- 17:25Speaker 1: Oh so after all that, you pick a Canadian?
- 17:27Speaker 2: Are you even one? Are you even watching the show?
- 17:30Speaker 2: Are you?
- 17:31Speaker 1: I don't think Maybe your brain froze over if there's
