- 0:01If you're tired of hiding your brilliance behind
- 0:04stage fright, scripts, or playing it safe, then
- 0:08you are in the perfect place.
- 0:10This is the Inspired Speaker Podcast, and I'm
- 0:13your host, Danielle Benzin, professional rebel, voice coach,
- 0:17and your guide to speaking with confidence, charisma,
- 0:21and zero BS.
- 0:23Around here, we don't chase perfection.
- 0:25We choose connection.
- 0:28So grab a hot beverage, warm up those
- 0:30vocal cords, and get ready to fall wildly
- 0:34in love with the sound of your voice.
- 0:36Let's get inspired.
- 0:39Well, it has been a minute, ladies and
- 0:42gentlemen, since season one, and a lot has
- 0:46happened in that small space.
- 0:48It actually hasn't been that long.
- 0:49It feels like it's been years, but I
- 0:52think it's only been a few months since
- 0:53I ended my very first podcast season.
- 0:57And since then, I decided I love this
- 0:59so much, and I'm so excited about it,
- 1:01and I want to share it so much
- 1:03with everybody that I decided instead of continuing
- 1:06all on my lonesome, I would start a
- 1:09network.
- 1:09And that's exactly what I've done.
- 1:12I got the courage.
- 1:14I stuck my courage to the sticking place.
- 1:18I can't remember the exact quote.
- 1:20I screwed my courage to the sticking place,
- 1:22and I partnered with the beautiful Michelle Abraham
- 1:26of Amplify You, and we put together a
- 1:30podcast network in approximately a month.
- 1:33It was a little bit more than a
- 1:35month between her and I, and approximately a
- 1:38month for all of the other podcasters who
- 1:40joined us.
- 1:41So we now have a network.
- 1:43We have a place.
- 1:44We have a community.
- 1:45We have somewhere for people who want to
- 1:49make the world a better place and use
- 1:51their voice for good, for inspiring change.
- 1:55We have a place for that to happen
- 1:56and for our audiences to interact with us
- 2:00so that it's not just a one-way
- 2:01conversation.
- 2:02And we have a gift vault, and we
- 2:04have lots of exciting things coming.
- 2:06It only just launched, so, you know, it's
- 2:09being built.
- 2:09But who knows when you're listening to this,
- 2:11and I have big dreams and big ambitions
- 2:14that we are going to grow into.
- 2:17We're definitely not there yet, but we're going
- 2:18to grow into them.
- 2:20And so to start this off, to start
- 2:22off Season 2, Episode 1, I thought the
- 2:26best thing to do would be to bring
- 2:28on these podcasters that I have partnered with
- 2:31so that you can hear from them what's
- 2:34been going on, why we've decided to do
- 2:37it this way, and what's going on on
- 2:39the network, because I'm going to be featuring
- 2:41them quite in Season 2.
- 2:44They're not going to be the only people
- 2:45in Season 2, but moving forward, I am
- 2:49going to be talking about them quite a
- 2:52bit for the first little while as we
- 2:54support them in getting their podcast out and
- 2:56getting their voices out there.
- 2:58So I wanted to just introduce them to
- 2:59you, my fabulous listeners, and we're going to
- 3:03do that by sharing a live stream that
- 3:05we recorded the day after our network launch.
- 3:08And it's not actually hosted by me, it's
- 3:10hosted by the fabulous Christine Goad, because I
- 3:13am just exhausted at this point.
- 3:15I want someone else to do some work
- 3:17for me.
- 3:18So here we go.
- 3:20This is the live stream that we recorded
- 3:21together, and I hope you enjoy it, and
- 3:24I hope you fall in love with these
- 3:27podcasters as much as I have over the
- 3:29last few weeks of working with them.
- 3:35Hello everybody!
- 3:36This is Danielle's channel, but our fabulous Christine
- 3:40Goad is going to be emceeing today.
- 3:42Take it away, Christine!
- 3:44Well, hello!
- 3:45I'm Christine Goad, and I am so glad
- 3:47to be here with you all today.
- 3:48We are here talking about the launch of
- 3:52the brand new Inspired Speaker Network and all
- 3:56of the beautiful podcasts that are debuting this
- 3:59week on that network.
- 4:01So thank you for being here.
- 4:03I hope you will stick around, listen.
- 4:05It's going to be a pretty quick conversation,
- 4:07but I just wanted you all to meet
- 4:09all of these amazing women, find out what
- 4:12they're doing in the world, why they're doing
- 4:14what they're doing in the world, and why
- 4:16you should come along for the ride.
- 4:18So having said all of that, why don't
- 4:21we just go around real quick and say
- 4:24who you are, what the name of your
- 4:26podcast is, and who it's for, and why
- 4:30you create...
- 4:31well shoot, that's an awful lot.
- 4:33Who you are, the name of your podcast,
- 4:37and who it's for.
- 4:38Let's start there.
- 4:41And Tiff, I see you in the top
- 4:43of my screen, so can we start with
- 4:45you?
- 4:48I'm honored!
- 4:49Hi everybody, I'm Tiff Loeffler.
- 4:52My podcast is positively yours, and I love
- 4:57supporting women in business.
- 4:59So thanks.
- 5:01Wonderful.
- 5:02What about you, LJ?
- 5:05Hi, thank you, Christine and Danielle for this
- 5:09space.
- 5:10So I am LJ, and I am hosting...
- 5:16elevating...
- 5:17or sorry, what is it?
- 5:18Is it elevating?
- 5:19I have so many E's!
- 5:21It is a brand new coat.
- 5:25Yeah, it is evolving with L, when capable
- 5:29women carry too much.
- 5:32So we are all professional, capable women, having
- 5:36lots of different roles or hats that we
- 5:39wear, and that is what we get to
- 5:42discuss on my podcast, how to harmonize all
- 5:45of that.
- 5:46Thank you.
- 5:46Wonderful, thank you.
- 5:49All right, I'm gonna jump to the bottom
- 5:52of my screen and introduce or have Shannon
- 5:56introduce herself.
- 5:57She's new to our group, so she's been
- 6:00here working alongside of all of us, but
- 6:02this is the first time most of us
- 6:04are actually meeting her in, you know, real
- 6:07life on Zoom.
- 6:12Thanks for the introduction.
- 6:14I'm Shannon Achilles.
- 6:15I am the co-host of the Guiding
- 6:17Parent Podcast, which is coincidentally for parents, and
- 6:22so it probably lends us nicely into going
- 6:24to my mom, Tammy, to introduce herself.
- 6:28Hi there, I'm Tammy Ulrich, and as Shannon
- 6:31said, our podcast is the Guiding Parent Podcast,
- 6:35and it is obviously for parents with the
- 6:38idea of being a parent, and the idea
- 6:38of helping them to nurture and raise their
- 6:41children with a little bit more understanding to
- 6:43kind of know what they do, why they
- 6:46do what they do, and why they don't
- 6:49do what they should do, so that we
- 6:51can more confidently deal with those everyday challenges.
- 6:54Sounds very useful.
- 6:55Thank you, Tammy.
- 6:57It's good to meet you, Shannon, as well,
- 6:59so thank you for being here today.
- 7:00And Wendy, how about you?
- 7:03Of course.
- 7:04Thanks, Christine.
- 7:06Thanks, Danielle.
- 7:07So my name is Wendy Ekboski, and the
- 7:10name of my podcast is The Awakening Woman
- 7:12on the Rise, conversations to awaken soul and
- 7:16spirit.
- 7:17It's for women who are tired of living
- 7:21society's life, anyone's life within their life, because
- 7:26they're looking for their authentic self.
- 7:28That's what they want to express.
- 7:30Wonderful.
- 7:31I'm going to go ahead and jump to
- 7:33me, and then I will save Danielle, our
- 7:35fearless leader, for the next little bit.
- 7:40So I'm Christine Goad, I'm the Surfing Your
- 7:42Edge coach, and my podcast is called Surfing
- 7:45Your Edge.
- 7:45It's for people who are ready to live
- 7:51the bigger, bolder, badass life they came to
- 7:53this planet for, and make decisions that help
- 7:57them be more themselves, especially in this complex
- 8:00and changing world.
- 8:02So now for Danielle, who is the leader
- 8:06of this Inspired Speaker Network.
- 8:10So, Danielle, can you tell us about your
- 8:12podcast?
- 8:12And then I've got another question for you.
- 8:16Oh, you're such a darling, Christine.
- 8:18So my podcast is called the Inspired Speaker
- 8:21Podcast, same name as the network, the Inspired
- 8:23Speaker Network, Inspired Speaker Podcast.
- 8:25So my podcast is for speakers, people who
- 8:28want to use their voice to make a
- 8:30difference in the world.
- 8:31So they're not necessarily career speakers, we're not
- 8:34necessarily talking about doing TED Talks or keynotes,
- 8:38which you absolutely could be, but it's also
- 8:41for anyone who wants to use their voice
- 8:43to make change.
- 8:44So if that's in the boardroom, if that's
- 8:47on a podcast, wherever that is in the
- 8:50networking space, if it's with your family, I
- 8:53have learned a lot about leadership from the
- 8:54Guiding Parent Podcast.
- 8:55May I say, I don't have kids, but
- 8:57I've learned a lot.
- 8:58So it's about making change with your voice.
- 9:01It's about standing up for what's important to
- 9:02you and influencing the world in a positive
- 9:06way while honoring your self-expression.
- 9:09Thanks so much, Christine.
- 9:10Thank you.
- 9:11And all of us just launched podcasts this
- 9:15week, so it's all brand new for all
- 9:16of us.
- 9:17And just launching a podcast is an effort
- 9:21enough.
- 9:22So Danielle, I'm wondering why, when you have
- 9:27a podcast to launch, why would you also
- 9:30launch a network and why did you bring
- 9:32together...
- 9:33What is the goal for the Inspired Speaker
- 9:35Network and why did you bring...
- 9:37What do you hope to accomplish by bringing
- 9:38these voices together?
- 9:42I hate doing things alone.
- 9:45That's a big part of it.
- 9:47No, seriously though, it just made so much
- 9:49sense.
- 9:49I started my podcast by myself in February...
- 9:52Well, not by myself.
- 9:53I started my podcast in February on another
- 9:55network, fantastic network, the Visionary Leaders Network with
- 10:00Mark Porteous.
- 10:01But I realized very quickly that this was
- 10:05part of a movement that I wanted to
- 10:06start and it fit so beautifully with my
- 10:09business because I work with speakers, I work
- 10:11with podcasters, I work with people who are
- 10:13on podcasts as guests and hosts and who
- 10:16speak all the time.
- 10:17And so many of my clients were looking
- 10:19to start their own podcasts.
- 10:21And by going through the experience myself, it
- 10:23just was such a no-brainer.
- 10:25And I felt really stupid for not thinking
- 10:27of it earlier, actually, because it was such
- 10:29a no-brainer to go, oh, why am
- 10:31I doing this on somebody else's platform and
- 10:34trying to get other people to join me?
- 10:36Why don't I create my own space?
- 10:37Because I am a speaker trainer.
- 10:39Why am I not doing this?
- 10:41And so immediately I kind of paused my
- 10:42podcast.
- 10:43I was like, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 10:44we don't want to do it this way.
- 10:45And obviously I'm still allying with other people
- 10:49and I still love to support them, but
- 10:50I wanted to create a space for my
- 10:52clients and for people who I believe in
- 10:54and for voices that I want to amplify,
- 10:56because that's a big part of what I
- 10:57do.
- 10:57So I partnered with Amplify You and they
- 11:00help where together we're creating this network.
- 11:03They take care of a lot of the
- 11:05technical, more technical stuff.
- 11:06And I take care of a lot of
- 11:08the more expressive stuff, but also video editing
- 11:10and all that thing, all those things.
- 11:12And I was saying to someone a little
- 11:14bit earlier in a meeting, I feel like
- 11:15I'm a professional hand holder, but in the
- 11:17best way.
- 11:19It's so much fun.
- 11:20And watching you all grow and not having
- 11:23to do it alone as well has been
- 11:25big, but I want to create a space
- 11:27for positive change.
- 11:27I want to create a community.
- 11:29I want to help in any way to
- 11:32make the world a better place.
- 11:33And I think every single one of these
- 11:34podcasts and any podcast that joins our network
- 11:37in the future is going to be about
- 11:39that, in some way, shape or form, the
- 11:41curious, excited, compassionate, honest nature of the world.
- 11:47Yeah.
- 11:48Thank you.
- 11:50We're all very honored to be part of
- 11:53this initial group and it has been quite
- 11:56a whirlwind.
- 11:57I was the last person to join and
- 12:00it was a matter of getting things out
- 12:02in just a few weeks.
- 12:04And as Danielle said, it can be really
- 12:06lonely doing this by yourself.
- 12:08So I am super grateful.
- 12:11Not only I'm grateful to have you all
- 12:16on this journey, but I'm also really grateful
- 12:19because having the group also meant that things
- 12:22had to be done and you couldn't push
- 12:25the, there was no deadline that could be
- 12:27pushed.
- 12:28It was all, we've got a launch date
- 12:30ladies and we're going.
- 12:32So that has been really lovely.
- 12:33And Danielle has been an amazing support.
- 12:36So I'd like to open the conversation up
- 12:39a little more widely now and have us,
- 12:43this is just kind of like a group
- 12:45conversation.
- 12:46I'm not going to pick on anybody, but
- 12:48just, I'm wondering what the launch has already
- 12:51taught you, what surprised you and maybe what
- 12:57edge are you surfing as you get this
- 13:01off the ground?
- 13:02Wendy.
- 13:06Well, interestingly enough, apart from the courage of
- 13:10saying yes to the podcast idea, what I've
- 13:14learned is what Danielle was actually talking about
- 13:17is about not doing it alone.
- 13:21I have had a history of thinking I
- 13:24needed to do it all alone to get
- 13:26any credit whatsoever.
- 13:28And who doesn't want credit, but I really
- 13:32was a loner that way.
- 13:33And I didn't realize I was so much
- 13:36and working with this amazing, amazing group, I
- 13:40thought, Oh my God, I don't have to
- 13:44do it alone.
- 13:45I'm with great people.
- 13:46And it was so up building, up building.
- 13:52This is a huge life lesson for me.
- 13:54I would have never expected in a podcast.
- 13:57I thought, yes, I'll get my word out.
- 13:59I'll get my thoughts out, which are important
- 14:00to me, but it was a much deeper
- 14:03win.
- 14:04So I'm so grateful.
- 14:06I love that.
- 14:07Yay.
- 14:08Thank you.
- 14:09And I Christine, fantastic question.
- 14:17So the edge that I was surfing is
- 14:21not hiding because I'm like, I believe we're
- 14:29all like these best kept secrets, right?
- 14:31Where we have what we want to share
- 14:36with the world because of what we've experienced,
- 14:39what we've learned professionally, we are unsure of
- 14:43really and truly how to get it out
- 14:44there.
- 14:45And by Danielle saying, Hey, I believe in
- 14:51what you are doing.
- 14:53Come join me.
- 14:54It was a stretch for me because I
- 14:59am, you know, almost like the, the tin
- 15:03man in front of the wizard.
- 15:06My knees were knocking and I'm just like,
- 15:10I'm going to do this.
- 15:11And then almost like the cowardly lion, let
- 15:13me just get out of here.
- 15:15But, um, Dorothy, you know, like there's no
- 15:20place like home.
- 15:21Right.
- 15:22And Danielle has made this place like beautiful.
- 15:26So I am super grateful.
- 15:29We're super grateful that you're here because your
- 15:31voice, when you start talking, you're mesmerizing.
- 15:36And when I'm just, I can't wait to
- 15:38hear where your conversations lead.
- 15:41So thank you so much for, uh, for
- 15:44sharing that and, um, and for coming along
- 15:47for the ride and doing it scared.
- 15:49Right.
- 15:50I think we're all doing it scared.
- 15:55I know it's a major stretch, but you're
- 15:58doing it.
- 15:59Tammy.
- 16:03I, uh, I go along right with LJ.
- 16:06You know, it was what I think surprised
- 16:08me the most was that this opportunity all
- 16:11of a sudden came about.
- 16:12I mean, just kind of out of the
- 16:13blue and that I did say yes, terrifyingly.
- 16:17So, you know, it really did cause me
- 16:19to step outside my comfort zone.
- 16:21And did you just jump in and do
- 16:23it and jump in and do it without
- 16:25practice or being perfect?
- 16:27It was, um, I was laughing at myself
- 16:30somewhat doing our, our third episode, because it's
- 16:33about being the perfect parent.
- 16:35And, uh, here I am, you know, needing
- 16:37to, uh, take some of my own advice
- 16:40and, uh, you know, don't have to be
- 16:42perfect.
- 16:42Just need to be real.
- 16:44So, you know, the episodes aren't perfect and
- 16:47that's okay.
- 16:47And so that was my edge.
- 16:49So it's definitely surfing my edge to, uh,
- 16:52you know, to step out and do this
- 16:54and we're doing it.
- 16:55Yeah.
- 16:55I noticed, I mean, we recorded so quickly
- 16:58and it was just like a, you know,
- 17:01just sort of scatter shot at the camera.
- 17:04And then when it's all done, you're like,
- 17:06what did I say?
- 17:08And there was this fear of, oh my
- 17:11God, did any of that make sense?
- 17:12And will anybody want to listen?
- 17:14And so it's been kind of like this
- 17:16trust, this game of trust, right?
- 17:19Where you have to assume that you had
- 17:20something valuable to share and that the team
- 17:23on the other side is going to find
- 17:24it and share it in its best light,
- 17:27but just trusting.
- 17:30I'm just so grateful to Danielle because she
- 17:34makes, and all of you, because this community
- 17:36just makes that trust so much easier.
- 17:42Shannon, how did you feel coming into all
- 17:44of this?
- 17:45I can jump in.
- 17:47Um, I mean, it was kind of amazing.
- 17:50Like my mom was talking about, you know,
- 17:51it kind of was this opportunity that came
- 17:53out of nowhere.
- 17:54And she asked me if, you know, I
- 17:56was interested in co-hosting with her, which
- 17:58we had, you know, kind of tossed around
- 18:00as an idea at one point, but had
- 18:02never, you know, really spoken about it with
- 18:04any sort of seriousness.
- 18:07And so, yeah, absolutely.
- 18:08The vulnerability of, you know, jumping into something
- 18:10that I don't have experience doing.
- 18:13And then also, you know, the vulnerability and
- 18:15our podcast is about parenting.
- 18:17And, you know, my role in our podcast
- 18:19is to be kind of the parent in
- 18:21the trenches.
- 18:21And so there is a definite, you know,
- 18:24requirement of being really open about my own
- 18:26experience in parenting, my own, you know, challenges
- 18:28and days that I don't do my best
- 18:31parenting.
- 18:32And so, you know, that was definitely one
- 18:33of the things that I took from, you
- 18:35know, our meetings with Danielle is, you know,
- 18:37the goal is not to have a perfect
- 18:39podcast, just like it's not to be a
- 18:40perfect parent that, you know, that there is,
- 18:43you know, a really important element of, you
- 18:45know, being your full human self in both.
- 18:49And I really love how, you know, you
- 18:50get that, you know, one of my favorite
- 18:52analogies about parenting is that it's like yoga,
- 18:55it's a practice, you're never going to have
- 18:57like a perfect parent, you're never going to
- 18:59have a perfect yoga pose, you just have
- 19:02to breathe through it all.
- 19:03So that has definitely been and, you know,
- 19:08a big part of this experience is just
- 19:09breathing through it.
- 19:10And, you know, hoping that we end up
- 19:13with something really beautiful at the end of
- 19:14it, which I think so far we have,
- 19:16and it's definitely been, you know, a delight
- 19:19to get to do it with my mom.
- 19:21And, you know, to share that experience.
- 19:23It takes a lot of courage to do
- 19:24that in front of the public, right?
- 19:27To be like, oh, I've got an imperfect
- 19:29yoga pose, and I'm doing it for all
- 19:32the world to see.
- 19:35For everyone.
- 19:37Yeah.
- 19:38Well, congratulations.
- 19:40I'm so glad you took the leap and
- 19:41that both of you are doing this together.
- 19:44It's gonna be fun.
- 19:46What about you, Tiff?
- 19:47What's going on with you?
- 19:51Oh, well, I think the surprise for me
- 19:57has been how in flow it is.
- 20:04I just, it's almost dreamlike.
- 20:06It's a bit dreamlike because I trust Danielle
- 20:11for days, you know, miles and miles.
- 20:14And so I knew when she gave me
- 20:18this opportunity that I would say yes, I
- 20:21think I was nervous because it wasn't just
- 20:23me, there were other incredible women.
- 20:25And then comes the, am I gonna be
- 20:28able to not just keep up, but can
- 20:32I bring what needs to be brought to
- 20:35the group?
- 20:36Because that's the part that's surprising me.
- 20:39That's the edge that I'm surfing.
- 20:43I'm so grateful because this group is awesome.
- 20:48And it's not just when you are in
- 20:51the same room together, we're all off doing
- 20:53our own things, but we're holding each other
- 20:56in just this most beautiful container always.
- 21:00And, and now it's happened.
- 21:03And another edge to surf is I have
- 21:07to, I have to trust that it can
- 21:10continue because now the podcast is out there
- 21:12and I'm excited for the next season already.
- 21:15And how is that going to happen?
- 21:16But it's okay because I'm in this group
- 21:19and my podcast is about having a great
- 21:23day and, and all the different ways to
- 21:25have a great day, even if you're not
- 21:27having such a great day.
- 21:28And today was an example.
- 21:29Today was a little intense and, and the
- 21:32cool part was I was reminding myself, Hey,
- 21:36it's okay.
- 21:36You can take a moment and, and there
- 21:38are parts of this day that are great.
- 21:40And then also there's the looking forward to
- 21:42this call today.
- 21:42So that was making it extra great.
- 21:44So that's why I was so happy.
- 21:46We're all together sharing how we're in this
- 21:49experience together.
- 21:50And that's just been awesome.
- 21:51It has been, it has been.
- 21:54I love all of that.
- 21:58I'm looking at the time.
- 22:01Let's jump a year ahead.
- 22:04Okay.
- 22:04So we just did this really fast.
- 22:06I did.
- 22:07I think mine was like, I don't know
- 22:08who the first person to say yes was
- 22:10and how long you've been on this journey.
- 22:13But I think mine has been for about
- 22:15three weeks, Danielle.
- 22:20I just like to say that I only
- 22:22decided to do this five weeks ago.
- 22:25No, no, no.
- 22:26I just, I'm just to clarify.
- 22:27Cause you keep saying I'm the last person
- 22:29to join.
- 22:29Yeah.
- 22:32Everybody joined within a week.
- 22:34There was, there was a week of enrollment,
- 22:37maybe, maybe nine days.
- 22:39No one has done this in more than
- 22:42five weeks, I think.
- 22:43And we didn't start away.
- 22:45We only started the training after Christine joined.
- 22:48We only started when the last person was
- 22:49in place.
- 22:50So there was about nine days of recruitment
- 22:52and then we all did this in four
- 22:54weeks.
- 22:55That's insane.
- 22:56I just want to, I just want to,
- 22:58this was not a six month process.
- 23:00This was short for everyone.
- 23:02And that was intentional.
- 23:03And it was brilliant.
- 23:04It was brilliantly devised.
- 23:06And I don't think it was like, I
- 23:08heard several of you say it wasn't necessarily
- 23:10the right time, but the right offer at
- 23:14the right, you know, and you made it,
- 23:15we made it the right time.
- 23:18So Danielle and her brilliance figured out that
- 23:20we were the right people and brought us
- 23:23together.
- 23:24So I'm excited about that.
- 23:26But I'd like to look forward a year,
- 23:28right.
- 23:28And see, and I'd love us to be
- 23:30back here again together as in a year.
- 23:34And I'm wondering what your vision, what would
- 23:37you like to have happened in the world
- 23:39as a result of having your podcast out
- 23:42there when we come back together in a
- 23:44year?
- 23:48That's a fantastic question.
- 23:51Yes, that's a fantastic question.
- 23:55Good for you, LJ.
- 23:57You know, what would be the best thing
- 24:00since sliced bread?
- 24:01Yes, I am that old.
- 24:03It would be people getting in touch with
- 24:06me and saying, you know, Wendy, with your
- 24:11podcast, and with the community you created, I
- 24:16could not have imagined that I would have
- 24:22paid the attention to myself that I needed
- 24:25to, to know that I had something to
- 24:27offer, and that my, my security actually comes
- 24:33from within me.
- 24:35I would love to see women who have
- 24:38a dream, have a goal, have a desire,
- 24:41someone like Danielle, but a dream, a goal,
- 24:44a desire, and say to me, I thought
- 24:48it wasn't possible.
- 24:50But I was willing to question that.
- 24:53And I was willing to change my mind.
- 24:56Thank you for your support.
- 24:58That would be like wonderful.
- 25:01And if one person shows up and says
- 25:02that there are probably lots more people out
- 25:04there experiencing it, who may not raise their
- 25:07hand and let you know.
- 25:10Lovely.
- 25:13Yeah.
- 25:14And thank you, Wendy.
- 25:16So my, what I would love to see
- 25:22a year from now is women coming saying
- 25:26that they have been edified, encouraged to be
- 25:32more in alignment with who they are, rather
- 25:37than living by the expectations of the various
- 25:41roles that they carry.
- 25:44And by doing that, they get to evolve
- 25:51and elevate in a community, not alone, kind
- 25:57of like what we've been doing.
- 25:58We've been elevating each other.
- 26:00We've been evolving, stretching to new levels that
- 26:04we maybe never thought possible.
- 26:07And that is what I would love to
- 26:12see in a year from now because of
- 26:15the community that women choose to join me
- 26:20in.
- 26:21It's a partnership.
- 26:22It's a collaboration.
- 26:24It's, there's no forcing.
- 26:25It's, hey, you see yourself in what we
- 26:29are saying as I bring the mirror, the
- 26:31map, and the method.
- 26:33And you're like, oh yeah, I want to
- 26:35join with Elle.
- 26:36And I'm like, yay, she wants to join
- 26:39with me because it would be such an
- 26:42honor.
- 26:43And these women get to impact the world,
- 26:48namely their children, because once this space has
- 26:52been created for them to be authentically who
- 26:55they are and they get to own their
- 26:57roles, they open the door for their children
- 27:01to know who they are and align with
- 27:04themselves at a much earlier age.
- 27:07And that is really what I envision happening
- 27:11for the women.
- 27:14And your podcast, I think, is in some
- 27:16ways inspired by your mother, right?
- 27:18When you were watching your mother as a
- 27:20young girl.
- 27:25Yes.
- 27:26So my mother...
- 27:28Oh, sorry.
- 27:30You put me on the spot.
- 27:31Hot dog.
- 27:32All right.
- 27:34So yes, my mother was a stay-at
- 27:37-home mom after being a nurse, having a
- 27:40career.
- 27:41And by seeing her operate in her various
- 27:46roles, I saw that that's how she was
- 27:51kind of defined.
- 27:53And what I saw her do in order
- 27:57to continue to evolve and elevate was she
- 28:01had conversations with friends and family members where
- 28:05it was a mutual giving and receiving to
- 28:09where they could elevate each other.
- 28:12And since she has now passed away and
- 28:19I had the time to reflect on what
- 28:22she taught me, what she gave me, how
- 28:26she actually helped me elevate and evolve with
- 28:29all of her encouragement, that is what I
- 28:32want to be able to...
- 28:34That's what I want to share with other
- 28:36women because there's strength in that.
- 28:42And for the longest time, I thought she
- 28:46was missing a lot, but that was my
- 28:49perspective.
- 28:51But when you reflect and you dig in,
- 28:53you're like, oh, she was strong and everything
- 28:56else.
- 28:56And she had more than what I even
- 28:58knew.
- 28:59Yes.
- 28:59So you're carrying on a legacy and I
- 29:03love that.
- 29:06All right.
- 29:08Anyone else have a vision for the coming
- 29:10year?
- 29:15Tammy?
- 29:18I feel like we've talked about how we
- 29:20don't want to be doing this alone.
- 29:22And this community brings us together to support
- 29:24each other.
- 29:25I feel like it's not...
- 29:26The parents shouldn't need to be doing it
- 29:28alone either.
- 29:29And I love the saying, it takes a
- 29:31village.
- 29:32And so I really hope that we can
- 29:35be a little bit of a village for
- 29:36families and that parents can get little tidbits
- 29:39that help them feel supported, that help them
- 29:42feel more confident in their parenting and some
- 29:45ease with the challenges that we all...
- 29:49Everybody faces going through parenting.
- 29:50And then ultimately, then our kids will grow
- 29:53up being understood and just growing into the
- 29:59best versions of themselves.
- 30:00And then they can...
- 30:01Our world is changing and kids need that
- 30:05support as they go into this world that
- 30:08we have.
- 30:08And they can grow up full of who
- 30:11they are and their full potential and make
- 30:13the world a better place.
- 30:15To piggyback off of what my mom said,
- 30:17we absolutely want to have a village for
- 30:21our listeners.
- 30:22And my mom's also writing a book that
- 30:24should be out within a year from now.
- 30:26And so we have the perfect synergy of
- 30:30having a podcast that helps draw people to
- 30:33the book and the book helps draw people
- 30:35to the podcast and really create this whole
- 30:38guiding mindset, little village or community to just
- 30:42really support families specifically that want to have
- 30:48definitely more confidence.
- 30:49Because I know for me, feeling confident in
- 30:51how I parent really seems to be what
- 30:54makes or breaks how you feel about doing
- 30:56the hard stuff.
- 30:57And so I think that that will, hopefully,
- 31:00we'll see a year from now, this lovely
- 31:01little village of listeners and readers all together.
- 31:10Anyone else?
- 31:15I'll jump in and say I was hearing
- 31:19everyone and it finally, I'll say hit me
- 31:25that, oh yeah, we're going to meet in
- 31:27a year from now.
- 31:28This thing is still going.
- 31:29That just in itself sounds amazing.
- 31:34And I so look forward to that because
- 31:39what an accomplishment.
- 31:41And if I were to be so dreamy,
- 31:46thinking about people saying, oh, I got some
- 31:51help on how to, like, I had a
- 31:53great day.
- 31:54It felt so cool.
- 31:56Like that just sounds, that just sounds great.
- 31:59And I had this dream of having a
- 32:03podcast a few years ago.
- 32:05And then so many things happened in life.
- 32:07And that would be the other thing I,
- 32:11my hope to help people know that, that
- 32:16your dreams can change, but it doesn't mean
- 32:21you have to give up on your dreams,
- 32:22even if they don't quite look like what
- 32:24you thought.
- 32:25Because this is more than I ever could
- 32:27have, could have imagined being in a creation
- 32:33podcast group.
- 32:34And now it's here and it's just been,
- 32:36it's just been everything.
- 32:37So thank you, Danielle and everybody here.
- 32:43Danielle, do you want to contribute to the
- 32:45vision?
- 32:48I was going to ask you, I just
- 32:51want to say reality often surpasses fantasy.
- 32:53So I just wanted to say that.
- 32:55You, you question that.
- 32:56I would like to see people changing their
- 33:00relationship with fear and starting to realize that
- 33:03fear isn't a stop sign, right?
- 33:07Sometimes it's a sign along the route that
- 33:09says, hey, you're going the right way.
- 33:11If there's some fear here, there's probably a
- 33:13reason.
- 33:14You know, this is probably a good thing
- 33:16for you to be stretching.
- 33:17And I'd also like people to start to
- 33:21recognize their own agency in a deeper way,
- 33:25not only to have their best lives, but
- 33:27to also contribute to betterment of the world.
- 33:31We need each other right now.
- 33:33We can't rely on the powers that be
- 33:39to have our backs right now.
- 33:41So we need each other and we need
- 33:43to be our best selves now.
- 33:45So I'm really looking forward to a year
- 33:48of people really starting to see themselves more
- 33:52clearly and step into the power that has
- 33:55always been theirs, that they might now have
- 33:58the courage to start using for the betterment
- 34:02of everyone.
- 34:05Just a little thing.
- 34:11No pressure.
- 34:12This is it.
- 34:13This is it.
- 34:13And this is why I've brought these, these
- 34:15people together.
- 34:16And this is why I will continue to
- 34:17curate this network very consciously, because this is
- 34:21what it's about.
- 34:22I want to live in a world where
- 34:25people are emotionally aware, emotionally conscious, emotionally mature,
- 34:31but also deeply emotional, emotionally alive.
- 34:35I want to live in a world where
- 34:37people are honest and about who they are,
- 34:40not just technically, but embody a self-expression
- 34:44and an honesty and a self-love and
- 34:46a self-acceptance.
- 34:48And of course, that extends as soon as
- 34:50one has for oneself, it extends to others.
- 34:52I want to live in a world where
- 34:54people are accepting of differences and not just
- 34:58tolerant, but celebrate diversity and bringing us all
- 35:04together in this beautiful, compassionate, passionate, compassionate,
- 35:08passionate, raw, real, messy, human, vulnerable, fragile world.
- 35:12And I want to celebrate that.
- 35:14And that is why I've brought you together.
- 35:16And that is why I will hopefully continue
- 35:17to bring people together.
- 35:18In a year, I want this community to
- 35:20at least have doubled.
- 35:22And I want to be part of a
- 35:25movement.
- 35:26I want us to be actively making the
- 35:28world a better place with our voices in
- 35:31whatever that means.
- 35:32If that's on a very small, I'm just
- 35:34emotionally regulating today and that's all I can
- 35:36do, but I'm doing it in a way
- 35:38that feels good and I'm not feeling reactive,
- 35:40or I'm parenting a child, or I'm running
- 35:43a team, or I'm running an event or
- 35:46a movement.
- 35:47Whatever works for you, if we all do
- 35:50our part, I think we can make the
- 35:53world a better place.
- 35:53And I think it's totally within our grasp.
- 35:57And that's why I'm here.
- 35:58Yay, yay, yay.
- 36:03It is why we're here.
- 36:04And it's why, yes, it's why everyone is
- 36:06here.
- 36:07So Danielle, I don't know the best way
- 36:10to share links or to tell people how
- 36:13to find the network.
- 36:18That is an excellent thing.
- 36:20And I got so excited about making the
- 36:22world a better place, I forgot to say,
- 36:24because you kind of started mentioning it.
- 36:27All of these beautiful hosts have gifts in
- 36:30our gift vault on the network.
- 36:32So not only can you go and look
- 36:34at all the different podcasts and read about
- 36:37them and interact with them on the network,
- 36:39but you can also download gifts or tickets
- 36:42or events.
- 36:43There's all sorts of different types of gifts.
- 36:44We're constantly adding to the gift vault.
- 36:47So keep checking it out.
- 36:48We only launched yesterday, so it's still building.
- 36:52But there's a few things there.
- 36:54And the network is inspiredspeakernetwork.com.
- 37:01I will put a link everywhere that this
- 37:03is.
- 37:04It's just, there's no the.
- 37:06It's inspiredspeakernetwork.com.
- 37:10And you can also find us, all of
- 37:13us, everywhere that there are podcasts.
- 37:15So I think everyone should just say their
- 37:16podcast name one last time.
- 37:19I am the Inspired Speaker Podcast.
- 37:21Christine?
- 37:24Surfing Your Edge.
- 37:27Great.
- 37:28Shannon?
- 37:30Oh, you're on mute, Shannon.
- 37:32I'll get Tammy to say it because you're
- 37:34both together.
- 37:34Anyway, say it at the same time.
- 37:36The Guiding Parrot Podcast.
- 37:40Excellent.
- 37:41Elle?
- 37:43Evolving With Elle.
- 37:45When Capable Women Carry Too Much.
- 37:49Wendy?
- 37:51The Awakening Woman On The Rise.
- 37:54Conversations to Awaken Soul and Spirit.
- 37:57And Tiff?
- 38:00Positively Yours.
- 38:02There's more to it, but I just remember
- 38:04the Positively Yours.
- 38:06That's the important part.
- 38:08And you've got all of our names too.
- 38:09So you can find us everywhere that you
- 38:10find podcasts.
- 38:11I'm going to hand it back over to
- 38:13Christine, but I just wanted to put that
- 38:14in everybody's minds.
- 38:16Well, I just want to say that I
- 38:17am grateful for all of you for being
- 38:19here today, for all of our viewers and
- 38:22our listeners.
- 38:23And I can't wait to see where this
- 38:26journey takes us.
- 38:27And I have a feeling we'll be doing
- 38:29more of these as we go along because
- 38:32we need each other and we need you.
- 38:35So I hope you'll come along for the
- 38:37ride.
- 38:37Thank you, everybody.
- 38:39And oh, my signature sign off is wishing
- 38:42you wonder.
- 38:43So I am wishing you wonder.
- 38:45I think we all are.
- 38:48Wonder is the best thing to have.
- 38:50Let's all, let's all on three.
- 38:52One, two, three.
- 38:54Wishing you wonder.
- 38:55Wishing you wonder.
- 38:58Thank you.
- 39:00Yay!
- 39:01I hope you have fallen in love with
- 39:04these podcasters as much as I have.
- 39:06I am so honored.
- 39:07I am so honored that they have chosen
- 39:10to take this crazy journey with me.
- 39:13It was so intense, but I feel like
- 39:15we've all grown so much.
- 39:17We have all really grown in the last
- 39:21month in a way that I don't think
- 39:22we would have if we'd taken the time
- 39:24to do this more slowly.
- 39:26We've really come together.
- 39:27They've supported each other so beautifully.
- 39:29And I can't wait to see where this
- 39:32network goes.
- 39:33I'm excited to grow it.
- 39:35I am going to be curating it.
- 39:37There's going to be an application process because
- 39:38the values of this network are very important
- 39:41to me.
- 39:42The production values as well as the, you
- 39:46know, value values, the internal ethical values of
- 39:50the world that we want to create.
- 39:51We want to create something positive.
- 39:53We want to inspire change for the better
- 39:56and tolerance and celebration in diversity and all
- 40:01of those wonderful gooey things that I think
- 40:03are so important to the world.
- 40:05So that's what we're endeavoring to do.
- 40:08This is just the beginning of something truly
- 40:11marvelous.
- 40:12I am so excited that you are here.
- 40:14Thank you for joining me.
- 40:16Thank you for sticking around.
- 40:17Thank you for giving me another chance.
- 40:19I'm going to be doing some solo shows,
- 40:21some episodes with interviews, all sorts of things
- 40:25in between.
- 40:26I'm excited to see where this goes.
- 40:28I will do my best to build some
- 40:31sort of consistency around it because I know
- 40:32that's important.
- 40:33But also diversity is important to me and
- 40:36being able to follow curiosity and keep things
- 40:42interesting and on their toes.
- 40:44So it's not going to be a completely
- 40:45predictable kind of show, but I do hope
- 40:48that the through line, the through line should
- 40:50be predictable.
- 40:51This emphasis on truth and honesty and embracing
- 40:55vulnerability and messiness and loving the human experience
- 41:00and living it as loudly and lively as
- 41:03we can.
- 41:04Thank you so much for being on this
- 41:06really exciting journey.
- 41:08And I can't wait to introduce you to
- 41:10some more of my friends.
