  I think all this, we had the podcast, I did go out once with

  a Muzzleloader. I would just want walking

  through my grass, and I think kicking them out of there.

  So technically, yes, but not really, but I do plan on going

  bowhunting, yet, I went and got some camera setup again, trying

  to get the big ones on camera. I got some Corn, / salt licks

  out, we'll see what happens. I'm showing up on camera yet,

  but I do want to get adults filter freezer that reminds me

  I did get some pictures from my uncle's just in the last 48

  hours of big bucks on camera again.

  And I'm curious is this, that is this, that sort of second rut

  second phase, where they might be up moving around again,

  chasing doze. That Have like yearlings or

  something that have gone into heat now, or is that possible?

  Or is it just a coincidence? Do you think it's not possible?

  didn't seem like it on my camera that anything's happening

  coincidence but yeah, all of a sudden I don't have any cameras

  out anymore but my uncle's do and he, they have been sending

  me a lot of pictures in the last two days of oh my God they're

  back. The Bucks are back like grab a

  boat. Out there.

  No. Actually the been at night or

  early in the morning. Yeah.

  So, last week and the buck pool, we had another atom bomb guard.

  Buck up old Buck this time. You want to tell that story.

  Yeah, I sent over. I was actually surprised because

  I didn't, you know, that this late in the season but he went
• 2:37
  out, he's been pretty persistent and it wasn't expecting too
• 2:41
  much, but he's a new bow hunter and stuff like that.

  So, he's just out there trying to get something, you know, so
• 2:47
  we get this, deer comes in and he didn't put a very good shot
• 2:49
  on him, which he had met at a kind of hit it.
• 2:50
  Far back in time getting it'll ever, I believe.
• 2:53
  But he attracted thing called a, in a lot of guys would have done
• 2:56
  that. I was pretty happy that he did
• 2:57
  that, but he was out there all day in the end up finding it.
• 2:59
  And he just said, it wasn't a good way to shoot his first
• 3:02
  book, but it all worked out. And Yeah, he was pretty proud of
• 3:05
  it, right? What do they call it?

  The you P11 pointer, which is actually a spike horn, His Kind

  of a Funny thing, you know, kind of making fun of it.

  I talked to him at the Christmas party but yeah, he was pretty

  excited about it. It's always hard to get in with

  the ball to get one that close. So that's all see you.

  last couple weeks. But we have a lot of changes in

  the standings actually, since we last recorded a podcast, at

  least the first. And most important of which is

  you got your hands on Josh Andrews.

  Buck almost immediately after we recorded our last podcast.

  Yeah. I think he was pretty excited to

  get that thing scored. What should I don't blame them?

  Yeah, you want he brought it in? He actually brought it into the

  office. And that a pretty good audience,

  that's pretty good audience. Needless to say, it was it was

  really big, it's pretty neat. Seeing these things up close

  dear of that caliber but first not what was that I9 pointer or

  whatever? The hell it was like a Mainframe

  eight or nine point but man it was just mass of the tines on

  a couple guys watching me and I'm coming up at 155 and 5/8

  Yeah, okay. My first deer couple years ago

  exactly by 2 inches. So he's the one you want to call

  When You See It Up and Up, in person, for an example, the G2

  is on one side. The one I was like 13 and 7/8

  inches long. And the other one was like,

  eleven and seven eighths. I toward a lot of deer, just
• 5:06
  kind of putts around with this. I've never had one over twelve
• 5:08
  and he almost had two of them. So, on the, on the one rack was
• 5:10
  pretty crazy. So that's obviously where a lot
• 5:13
  of his points came from pretty neat.

  And I know we talked in the last podcast about the fact that,
• 5:18
  that deer hardly has any brow tines.
• 5:20
  That really surprised that that's a 170 if it has.
• 5:23
  Yeah, yeah. Let's talk is brought times

  were, I mean, you look at the pictures of like an inch and a

  half long. I mean, normally on a buck like
• 5:29
  that 56 inches, you know. That's a lot of 12 points added

  on, so it's pretty crazy. Yeah, awesome.

  Buck Josh, congratulations. We are trying to get Josh on the

  podcast, have been able to quite meet up, but that could happen

  yet this week, our through the holidays, like this.

  Everybody's got stuff going on or just busy busy with work.

  So we're doing our best. So also had a chance to get out

  to Rapids last week and get your hands on Justin Beck's.

  Yeah, that was kind of book. That was cool that me and you

  both worked it out that you had to go there for something.

  And I have to go there for something separate and we just

  kind of worked it out that Justin was there also.

  So we brought it as Buck rack and I had some time I went back

  by the gets Brothers, in that trailer in the back by Rapids

  and put some tape to it. And that's another one that it's
• 6:17
  just so massive, like the thickness of his rack.

  If you look at all the scores, As you can stuff.

  He's, I think that's the most circumference on those aged
• 6:26
  measurements. I've ever had, almost pushing
• 6:28
  six inches on that. So that's where his points came
• 6:30
  from the mass and then Josh is what the was the length, so it's

  pretty neat. Yeah, his came in at 140 and
• 6:36
  eight and I put some inch ahead of Mike, why inverter, at that
• 6:40
  time for second place. So yeah, so Mike's good fallen

  down the chain here. Yeah, Mike unfortunately had a

  rough week last week got knocked out of actually well knocked out
• 6:52
  of the top three and also knocked out of the number one
• 6:55
  spot. But again I would say I would

  gladly be in Mike's position one at last year.

  S biggest buck ever but still a tough week.

  Yeah I know I'm Mikey doesn't give a shit about that stuff is

  I mean, I know he's after some real giants out there and that

  was a real big one too that he got.

  But yeah, there's some bigger ones out there so I don't feel

  too bad for him. There's he's got a he's got a
• 7:20
  real good property over there. He'll be back.

  Yeah, he'll be back and then you just got your hands on those

  today. Greg, where's the gun Buck?

  Yeah, this is the other one that dropped might warrant for out a

  third place. Put the tape to Greg's.

  It was 141 inch is beating Justin back.

  Switch now falls down to Third. By 7/8 of an inch.

  So, yeah, that was all the all three of these rides.

  Just so nice to get your hands on these things.

  Some Greg's had the widest track this year so far, this is almost
• 7:50
  19 inches wide. So it's kind of unique seeing
• 7:53
  all these scores like that. And you can look at all the
• 7:54
  score sheets and see where they compare to each other.

  That's not a thing. We started this year was if

  there's a link under the score, in the in the list there, click

  on the link in this course, you will be the right through those

  on there this morning. So I go back through the history

  and try to get those on there. So yeah, congrats Greg is in

  second place for now. I know there's a little bit of

  season left, but odds are you guys are going to be one, two,

  three. So now that you say it, it's

  pretty cool. We have kind of a unique Josh

  with the, with the long tines. And then we're is with with the

  wide rack and Justin with The heavy rack.

  I mean just the mass of that thing, three completely

  different racks in the top three.

  Yeah, yeah, pretty cool. So that means this year so far,

  we have 33 total bucks down. Seven of them have been scored
• 8:47
  and they've been added to that all time list on the website.

  We've got Josh Andrews in the lead at one 55 and 58.

  Where is in second at 141 and Justin in third with 140 and an

  eight, And like you just said I'd be surprised if that's not

  the final top three but there's also still what three weeks left

  in the season over no crazier. Things have happened they are

  still walking around. You never know but I don't know

  too many guys are still going out.

  I know there's a handful that I can think of, but most of us are

  pretty much closer hanging up and weapons put away cleaned up

  but we'll see. Backpacks am IA, you know, that

  kind of stuff. Yeah, right.

  So, just looking ahead. So muzzle loaders load up

  Muzzleloader season ended last week a week ago today, actually

  and archery ends. At least like the main archery
• 9:43
  season ends, January 8th. I think there's another analyst
• 9:47
  hunt coming up but that over the holidays but that really doesn't
• 9:51
  mean anything to the buck pool, right?

  The Sara Lee. You can still get out and go bow
• 9:55
  hunting during those times but Out there, and if you get those

  send us pictures to. But now they're obviously not

  going to win. I'm going to try to get want to

  Make a lot of noise. So the the other note that I

  have down here is we took a look at the all time list and I think

  it's pretty cool. Just to throw a few stats out

  there. We have in six years of the

  Earth's, this the seventh this is the seventh year of the pool,

  49 total Bucks have been measured going anywhere from.

  I think the smallest was around at 98 inches somewhere in there
• 10:39
  to the Josh Andrews hundred fifty five and five eighths,

  three of them. Three of the top ten are from
• 10:47
  this year with with Josh's, obviously, and first and then
• 10:52
  whirs is in ninth and Justins in 10th.

  But then 2 more actually to round out the top 20 Mike wine
• 10:59
  fritters is 11th and Mike Burger King says 18th, which by the
• 11:03
  way, he sent a great email to us detailing his kind of gruesome
• 11:08
  tale of the, the giant buck that he knocked down.

  Yeah. What was the story that I think,

  more importantly, the type of gone?
• 11:14
  That's, we were talking about, I want to live podcast.

  What gone it was. Yes.

  And he does stayed in there. What it was?

  It's a 270. I said that's pretty cool.

  And yeah, sounds like they got but that buck on a drive in it

  took more than one shot to bring that one down.

  And also lucky that it stayed on the property that a different
• 11:35
  story about. They had a river that was
• 11:36
  separate from the public versus private of a jump.

  That the river into the private that this deer is gone, you
• 11:43
  know, they can't go on there, so they were Assembling the troops
• 11:46
  that get this thing. And as they were doing that one
• 11:49
  of his buddies, thought they saw the one bedded down.

  So we shot it, like you normally would because you didn't know
• 11:54
  what the fun look like, ended up being the wrong one.

  Like moments later, they Mike found his deer that he shot at
• 12:01
  it. Actually died, like 30 40 yards
• 12:03
  before it crossed the creek. So so they got two bucks on that
• 12:07
  drive, on that drive. And yeah, and, and he did also
• 12:11
  say that there are people hunting that property next door,
• 12:14
  and he said, they have had, but X cross that Creek and then get
• 12:17
  shot immediately by people on the other side of the property.
• 12:20
  So good for him, like good for his crew.

  That they that they got that beautiful Buck.

  That's a great deer. Yeah, it is.

  I know that I'm going to try to get out there this week and I'm
• 12:33
  going to put try to put tape that you never know, I never
• 12:36
  know what. I just want to put my tape on

  it, just so everybody's consistent.

  Have the have the one score for all these guys to do the dear

  think it's going to finish in the top three but it's yeah, you

  it's been a good year so far, again, they're still weeks left

  and like I said, we've got nice bucks on the trail cam right

  now. But like also most guys, I think

  our have wrapped up their hunting seasons at this point.

  Yeah. So anybody that wants to get out

  there, probably have a lot of land to yourself.

  I would say there's a lot of rabbit Hunters already.

  Right now, Kyle guys are running the dogs, so even with that

  going on, it might push to your day.

  You never know. Are they running Hawks?

  I did talk to Frank and he is running as hawk or flying his
• 13:27
  Hawk quite often. It's just like I having a pet
• 13:30
  dog or whatever. You got to get these things,

  I'll get some exercise. And these, you have to get out

  of the cage, obviously, it's always out there.

  I don't know how many times a week but We got to get out

  there. We have our hunt with with

  Frank, scheduled for January and there will definitely be a

  special podcast when that happens.

  Maybe a video camera. We got to bring a video camera

  with hell yes. And and a regular camera.

  So we get our pictures taken with the hawk before.

  They presumably eat Us Alive as well.

  Yeah, it's pretty interesting. Can't wait.

  It's gonna be pretty cool. That, that January is kind of a

  I feel like a bleak month for outdoors.

  that or an ice fisherman. So I look forward to being able

  to get out and see Frank's Birds, go to work on a new

  hobby. Just to be Frank's will be
