Vučić concedes defeat as student-backed list leads in Serbia election
Serbian leader Aleksandar Vučić conceded defeat in the parliamentary election, while emphasizing that the results were not final. He said preliminary figures showed the student-backed list winning between 135 and 140 of the 250 seats, while his Serbian Progressive Party would take 105. Pollsters CESID-IPSOS estimated the Students’ List at 138 seats and Vučić’s party at 104. They said ethnic minority parties were likely to share the remaining seats.
