- 0:20Everyone. Welcome to Bless, Dismiss and the True Grum Podcast. I don't
- 0:23care, here's do says. Hey, all right, we're back with the
- 0:26new episode this week. We're going to Kentucky and I don't remember the last
- 0:32time we were in Kentucky. I know we did Barnstown, which there was
- 0:35a breakthrough in that case. Share it. Did you read the updates?
- 0:40I did read the update upstate? What is the update? Somebody has been
- 0:44arrested. It was an ex boyfriend, wouldn't it, baby daddy, ex
- 0:50husband, ex boyfriend, something like that? Something this the man in her
- 0:55life. I would have came prepared. Well, you know, maybe you
- 0:59should always be prepared. Anyways, it was we had the murder of Crystal
- 1:03Rogers, so we did cover that way way back, if you want to
- 1:06go back in. That was more of our creative days. I did like
- 1:07a whole little intro with their town's YouTube page and all this stuff. But
- 1:14anyways, so all right, so it's all like that. Yeah, so
- 1:23we're going to try to make through this episode. We do have two sick
- 1:26children, so hopefully we make it through this. If not, it'll be
- 1:30delayed till next week. But we should we're trying, and then we had
- 1:36a lot of questions about us moving on Facebook because do try to cut me
- 1:41off. Last time said nobody care, but then apparently some people care.
- 1:45So we are a moved. We're moving out not the most beautiful part of
- 1:49Texas, but we're moving to West Texas due to my job, and we
- 1:56put an offer on a house that got accepted. So we're very excited about
- 2:00the house. And I am familiar with the area. I've traveled out there
- 2:04for work for like a lot over the last couple of years, so it's
- 2:07not gonna be completely shocking to me, but it's gonna be completely shocking to
- 2:12me. It's gonna be it is very flat and dry and everything like that.
- 2:17But I will you know what I do like about out there is there's
- 2:20no humidity, which I'll I'm telling you down here, it almost you can't
- 2:23go outside starting in mid May until now until now. I mean, it's
- 2:31just it's gotten to the point where I'm actually just like I got to get
- 2:35away from this humidity. So anyways, it'll probably be a short move in
- 2:38terms of the grand scheme of things. I'm sure it'll probably be a couple
- 2:43of years. Will be out there and then I'm sure they'll move me someplace
- 2:46else. But until that time, we will be moving out to West Texas.
- 2:51So that's all coming up in the next like month or so. So
- 2:55it's gonna be chaotic. So we're gonna try to keep episodes every week.
- 2:59But it's a lot going on, all right. Find us on Patreon,
- 3:06Patreon dot com, slash Bless This Mess podcast for early access in ad free
- 3:09buy me at coffee dot com. We've had quite a few people do that.
- 3:13We appreciate it. I appreciate the coffees. Three or four new Patreons
- 3:16in the last couple of weeks. Yep, we appreciate you guys. And
- 3:22then Instagram and Facebook follow us on there. I've been so behind on book
- 3:25Club, but I'm gonna post one this month. I'll get it in there
- 3:29for sure for October. So all right, well, I guess let's go
- 3:31ahead and get into this week's episode. Out of Kentucky. Vincent Edward Goslin,
- 3:38Junior was born September twenty third, nineteen eighty three, to Vincent Goslin.
- 3:42I was surprised and Rhonda Rippen Kroger. I'm probably pronouncing that wrong,
- 3:47but it's quite the name. And he was born in Louisiana. Not sure
- 3:51what part they just did in Louisiana. Now, just eight months old,
- 3:53his mother abandoned the family, leaving Vince to be raised by his father.
- 3:58That's terrible. Well, you know, I think about this, but I
- 4:01don't know what was happened in nineteen eighty three. I don't think they're up
- 4:03on the postpartum depression and things like that, so we don't know. I
- 4:08don't want to judge the mother straight off the bat, but there was a
- 4:11lot of you know, they didn't know about those things, and eight months
- 4:15in they she could have been suffering from postparum depression, or maybe she was
- 4:19just a shitty person. I don't know. I'm just I'm playing devil's advocate.
- 4:25I'm just saying, yes, you are. Now. His father wasn't
- 4:29the most stable in relationships. He was married six times throughout Vince's childhood.
- 4:32Could have been another reason the mother left. She's like, I don't know
- 4:36what Vince's dad was up to. Try to get up six times in his
- 4:43child that's sketchy right there. We don't know. It's either way. Poor
- 4:46Vince was the one that suffered in all this because he his mother left and
- 4:50his dad was basically just unstable. So during that time, Vince found a
- 4:56mother figure in his best friend's mom, and her name was Janet. Now,
- 5:00she was very supportive of him and was the stability that he needed.
- 5:03Now, Vince was into tattoos and baggy clothing, and he kind of looked
- 5:06like one of those grunge teenagers in the nineties. Whenever I saw pictures of
- 5:11him, you know, I'm sure he was looking like dirty and stuff,
- 5:15and he probably was. Now he was again, he had this unstable childhood,
- 5:21so he did get himself in a couple binds growing up, and by
- 5:26the time he was eighteen, he had two children with two different women.
- 5:30Now, despite his young age, he was a good dad and was in
- 5:32both of his children's lives now. Shortly after high school, Vince met Jesse
- 5:38Hall. Jesse and Vince soon were married and started a family of their own.
- 5:42In two thousand and five, at the age of twenty one, Vince
- 5:44decided it was time to get his life together and join the army. Now,
- 5:47he was deployed multiple times, but in his spare time, Vince and
- 5:50Jesse continued to grow their family. They would end up with three children,
- 5:55two girls and a boy. So all in all, Vince had five children
- 5:59before he even tried thirty. So he's busy. Him and Jesse. A're
- 6:02busy because we're busy with two and we're old. You're old, Yeah,
- 6:09but that means we're more tired. You're old two Steward Now, he loved
- 6:13his life though, he loved even though it was chaotic. He's in the
- 6:15military, all this stuff, he loved it. He loves spending time with
- 6:18his children. He loved playing disc golf, ice, fishing, and working
- 6:21on his cars. Now Vince and his family eventually ended up stationed at Fort
- 6:26Campbell in Kentucky. On February third, twenty twelve, Vince had just returned
- 6:30home from a deployment to Afghanistan. Him and Jesse decided that they were going
- 6:34to go out to dinner and celebrate his return. Now. They went to
- 6:40dinner at Old Charlie's. We haven't Charlie's here, don't we. Yeah,
- 6:44since a chin restaurant, I would suggest going to a better restaurant to celebrate
- 6:48coming back alive. At least bonefish. I mean bonefish gross really nice A
- 6:55salt Grass always comes through with the steaks. Ever been to Charlie's. I've
- 7:00never been. Yeah, I've been there once. It's okay, what did
- 7:04they serve? It's better than Applebee's. But oh well that's in TGI Friday.
- 7:10Well, Stuart, those are just microwave restaurants at this point. Well
- 7:14what did they serve at Old Charlie's. I don't even remember. It was
- 7:16just regular, like regular fair. I guess I don't know. Okay,
- 7:20it made zero impression on me. Well, maybe they were probably on a
- 7:25budget. They had five kids, and I don't know what Jesse was doing
- 7:27with her time besides taking care of children. Why are we gonna find out
- 7:31not to be well? Now I sound like critical staying up mother. I'm
- 7:36saying I don't know if she took care of the children. I don't know
- 7:39what she's in middaycare. We don't know what she did with her time.
- 7:43Okay. Anyway, so they got done eating Old Charlie's and they having poor
- 7:46taste. I will say on the I watched an episode of a date Line
- 7:53with these people. I feel like I know they're all on a military base,
- 7:58so the inbreeding was less likely. But I felt like it was just
- 8:01a large group of people in Kentucky, like everybody from I don't know about
- 8:05Vincent. We're not gonna talk bad about the victim of definitely his wife,
- 8:13the eyewitness, the friend of Vince, like they just looked like a rough
- 8:18crowd s. Dude looked like a lot of like cousin. Fucking aren't we
- 8:24all cousins at some point up the family tree? I guess. So.
- 8:28Anyway, they're heading home at about eight pm and they ended up off the
- 8:33main road on Fidelio Road, and as they traveled, they saw a vehicle
- 8:37that was broke down with the hood up. Vince decided that he was gonna
- 8:41pull over to offer some help to the stranded motorist. Soon after Vince exit
- 8:46the exits the vehicle to help the driver, shots were fired. Jesse is
- 8:52still in their car and she calls nine to one one. Now she's frantically
- 8:56telling the operator that she can't find her husband, and the eye prayed er
- 9:00asked what happened, to which Jesse said she heard gunshots and Vince tried to
- 9:05come back to the vehicle and get in. As he is trying to get
- 9:09back in the car, a man drags him away from the car, and
- 9:11Vince told Jesse to get out of here so she didn't get hurt. Basically,
- 9:16so according to Jesse, she drove off. Now she can't find Vince
- 9:22anywhere, and as this is happening, another man calls in a nine to
- 9:26one one. He said he heard gunshots from his house, so he decided
- 9:30he was going to go check out the situation. That's the last thing I
- 9:33would do if you're not going to jump in your car and go see what's
- 9:35going on. So he also look like he had been it had kept it
- 9:39all in the family. You know, his parents said, hell, he
- 9:43ain't get enough for your own family, Who are you good for? Then?
- 9:46You know what they say, incest is best keeping the family. Now
- 9:50he does see a man lying, come and kill us. I hope he
- 9:52doesn't listen his podcast. I don't think he does. Now he sees a
- 9:56man lying on the side of the road, so he pulls over to check
- 10:00out. As he approaches, he can tell the man has been shot multiple
- 10:03times and is deceased. This is when he calls nine one one to report
- 10:09the shooting, so detectives they arrive on scene to find twenty eight year old
- 10:13Vincent Goslin lifeless. He had a large amount of blood around his body and
- 10:18they could see he had been shot in the head and in the face.
- 10:22Now, the autopsy would later reveal that he had been shot nine times in
- 10:24total. Now, about a quarter mile away is where they find Jesse on
- 10:28the side of the road with her car that she had drippn off, and
- 10:33she's completely hysterical. She's on the ground crying everything. So they brought her
- 10:37in and tried to get her story while it was still fresh in her mind.
- 10:41Because again, this is they stop to help somebody and they he person
- 10:46shoots him and even goes to the so farest from what Jesse's saying is to
- 10:50drag him as he's trying to get in the car. It's just a yeah,
- 10:54that happened out in California. It did. What's California. Brother,
- 11:00There's some people that are like living out in the woods in a national park
- 11:03or something, and they flagged some people down and then they got them by
- 11:07the car where they had the hood up. Yeah, and then they went
- 11:09to rob them and they ended up killing the boyfriend. I think they shot
- 11:13the girl. Yeah, but they were robbing them. We don't even know
- 11:16what this person didn't have any type of I'm just saying it happened. It's
- 11:18weird. Well, I mean robbing them, yeah, I could see.
- 11:22But just suddenly killing somebody for no reason. Well, the boyfriend, he
- 11:26didn't want to get robbed. So I'm saying Vince or Vince could have not
- 11:31wanted to get robbed either. Yeah, that's probably what happens to I think.
- 11:35So. So, she tells police that she believed that the man that
- 11:39shot her husband was black and he was driving a reddish brown car. Now,
- 11:45she's not real confident in what she saw. She was very distraught during
- 11:48the interview, crying the whole time. And they also so after they talked
- 11:52to her, they also speak to the other guy that called in that found
- 11:58Vince, and he had a very different description of the vehicle that he saw
- 12:03in the area when he drove up then Jesse, he said he saw a
- 12:07white truck that was driving away. Now, with conflicting eyewitnesses account, eyewitnesses
- 12:13accounts, eyewitness account, police just don't have much to go on. We
- 12:18got the wife who was right there saying it's a reddish brown car, and
- 12:24then the other guy who found the body saying he saw a white truck.
- 12:26The white truck could have been just a car that happened to be in the
- 12:30area, but he seemed to be pretty confident that that was the person.
- 12:33That there was no vehicle with the hood up. No, there was no
- 12:39view, just like the toddler. Well, there might have been a vehicle
- 12:41with the Oh yeah, that bitch. God, everybody worried about her.
- 12:48There was no toddler anyways. If you know what I'm talking about, that
- 12:50story about the back out in Georgia. I thought it was Georgia a couple
- 12:54of months ago, and that girl that was like a nursing student or something
- 13:01said she saw a toddler and they had the video and then come to find
- 13:03out there wasn't a toddler. And then she showed up at her house a
- 13:07couple of days later, and we kind of never I think they did file
- 13:09charges against her. Yeah, it's all been real quiet. Yes, it's
- 13:13all been hush hushed, but well known national headlines. Yeah, not like
- 13:18for her. Oh there's people following, and it's just not it's they.
- 13:22It's like it seems like after one of these hopes, they just kind of
- 13:26like die down. And it's like, no, we want to know what,
- 13:26we want to follow up. I guess they don't want to give it
- 13:30more attention because that's what she was looking for, was attention. So the
- 13:33police continue to talk to Jesse to see if they could get any more details
- 13:37drink, but she was too upset and she was not much help, so
- 13:43they let her go home and they set out to talk to friends and family
- 13:46of Vincent Jesse's. They spoke to the neighbors and they were also friends of
- 13:52the couple. Yeah, they weren't just nosy neighbors. They were they hung
- 13:54out frequently. Now, the couple had an interesting story, and this was
- 14:00just a few weeks before the murder. Jesse had told them that Vince had
- 14:03gotten tied up with a drug deal, which is strange because this is the
- 14:09first we're hearing of it. Yeah, she said that he owed someone a
- 14:13lot of money and that she was afraid. The couple said that Jesse was
- 14:16on pins and needles in the weeks leading up to the murder and she was
- 14:22afraid that the drug dealer would show up at their house and hurt the family.
- 14:26The neighbors convinced Jesse to go talk to the military police about the drug
- 14:30dealer as it might have been the motive for the murder. Yeah, so
- 14:33this is after she's talked to the county police. They say, hey,
- 14:37you need to go tell and so she goes and talks to the military police.
- 14:41Now she tells detectives that Vince told her that he had bought a large
- 14:46quantity of meta amphetamines and that they were in a lot of debt to some
- 14:50really bad people. All in all, he told Jesse that he owed them
- 14:54about twenty thousand dollars. That doesn't seem like, I mean what I mean,
- 15:01you just get back from Afghanistan, you go out and make a billet
- 15:03of drug deal Well, I know, but even like twenty thousand, I
- 15:07mean, I feel like if you choose, I would think if I was
- 15:09in a lot of debt to really bad people, I'd be like, I'm
- 15:13like one hundred and fifty thousand dollars in you know, Well, some people
- 15:16don't play around with twenty I'm just saying like, it just seems like if
- 15:20they're this big of drug dealers, they would be operating on a larger situation.
- 15:26You can't let somebody skim twenty off you You can't let somebody skim got
- 15:31by mean streets you now. Jesse said she didn't know who the drug dealers
- 15:35were, but they had started contacting her the day of the murder. She
- 15:41said the dealer texted her and told her they would kill her and her children
- 15:46if she did not do what they said. That's odd that part of the
- 15:50part of the deal was he had to give like a credit report or credit
- 15:56application. He had to give the phone number of his spouse or something.
- 16:00I'm sure he got. They were able to get stuff. Stewart, that
- 16:02was the dumb statement you just made. So if I'm dealing with the drug
- 16:07dealer, They're just gonna automatically get your phone number, the spouse's phone number.
- 16:11Yeah, maybe something smells anyway, she said. This is when she
- 16:18admits that they ended up on Fidelio Road because of the threats to her.
- 16:26She said she knew something was most likely going to happen if she went down
- 16:30the road, but she felt she had no choice. Now, that's when
- 16:33they came across the car broke down and stopped to help, and that's when
- 16:37Vince was murdered. Yes, because apparently she told police that the reason they
- 16:41ended up on Fidelio Road is because she told Vince that she was feeling nauseous
- 16:47and he was gonna throw it because she had that Charlie's you know, don't
- 16:49go eat there, So I guess so Charlie is kind of like a Chili's.
- 16:55Maybe I don't know. I've never been there, and I'm not gonna
- 16:57go now because this this this person went, so I'm definitely not going.
- 17:04I don't know what o Charlie's is, but somebody who's been to an o'
- 17:07charlie's, Okay, well, maybe I'll look it up next time we have
- 17:11a break. Anyways, she said she didn't feel good and that's when she
- 17:18was the one driving, and she said that Vince had to pull on this
- 17:21road off to the side or whatever since she wasn't feeling well she was gonna
- 17:23throw up. But we're not real sure if that's what happened, but that's
- 17:27what she says. How they originally ended up on that road. So,
- 17:33now, feeling they are finally getting somewhere and may have a motive, they
- 17:37start looking into Vince's path to see if he had any run ins with any
- 17:41type of drug activity, and they found they didn't find anything in his past
- 17:45showing that he'd ever even been slightly involved with drugs. With this new information,
- 17:52they decided to bring in their other eyewitness, and that's the man that
- 17:56found Vince, to see if he remembers anything else he's been thinking about it
- 17:59for let's just see now. Knowing that Jesse had lied the first interview,
- 18:03they believe they believe that the description that the the guy that found Theness eyewitness,
- 18:11they believe he was probably telling the truth about this truck and she was
- 18:14making up because she made up the whole story originally. So they have him
- 18:18go into as much a detail about the truck. Wow, you're really slow
- 18:23on the uptake over there's Jesus, you sound like you're from Kentucky and part
- 18:29of this ing. So from what they gather, it was a white truck
- 18:33that was lifted and very loud. Now with this new information, they checked
- 18:37with people in the area where the crime was committed to see if anyone recognized
- 18:41this truck, because, like I said, it's he said, it would
- 18:42be a noticeable truck. This is a truck people would notice around town because
- 18:47it's lifted, it's making London noise. I would hate the motherfuckers. I
- 18:51can guarantee you that driving through the neighborhood with their loud ass truck thinking that
- 18:55they're coffee can felter. Yeah, compensating for something anyway, So a few
- 19:02neighbors they mentioned they had seen it and bleed it belonged to a man named
- 19:04Jared Long. Police they run the name and see that a truck matching the
- 19:10description is registered to the twenty four year old who used to live on the
- 19:14Fort Campbell base. Now they begin searching for Jared and he's no longer living
- 19:18on the base, and so they sent out a BOLO for him. That's
- 19:21a be on the lookouts dude. Really, and they do it, you
- 19:25know, in the surrounding states, like they can get this word out and
- 19:27everything to other precincts jurisdiction. So the local police. Oh so anyways,
- 19:37he was stopped on his way to Colorado, where he was from. They
- 19:41actually found out that's where he was from and he was headed back there.
- 19:44So he got on the road pretty soon after this whole incident. Now,
- 19:48the local police, they held Jared for as long as they could, but
- 19:51police in Kentucky could not get an a rest warrant based on him just having
- 19:53a similar truck seen that night because again they had no yeah, they had
- 19:59no the eyeways and see him shoot from that truck or something like that.
- 20:03So they eventually let him go and the Kentucky police they began looking into Jared
- 20:07and how he could be connected to Vince. So police began speaking to the
- 20:11neighbors and friends all over again, and they go to the neighbor's house who
- 20:17had told them about the drug dealer that Jesse told them, Well they had
- 20:22been. They had, yeah, they had told police and they had convinced
- 20:25Jesse to go and talk about it. So those are the neighbors were.
- 20:26Yes, they also look like they were in brit Now were they trails or
- 20:33where they were? No? These are actual the actual people, is it?
- 20:37I know, it's a rough bunch. So anyway, the neighbors do
- 20:40remember seeing old truck similar to Jared's parked at the Goslin house while Vince was
- 20:47deployed. So Jared also known as Jody if you were in the military,
- 20:53Old Jody and Susie Rotten Crotch. Now he was there about two to three
- 20:59times a week, and Jesse and the kids were seen riding in the truck
- 21:04with Jared. That's a weird relationship. Happens more often than you would care
- 21:12to know. Well, I know, I knew a guy when I was
- 21:15growing up. He married, he would joined the Marine Corps, and it
- 21:18was right at like nine to eleven times, similar to probably when Vince,
- 21:22you know, joined, and that girl screwed him. Well, somebody else,
- 21:29somebody else took all of his money because he'd been sending all his money
- 21:32back to the joint bank account. She cleared off the bank account and then
- 21:36ran off with some other guy and he came back and I don't even know
- 21:38he might be I'm not really sure what happened to him. A little upset
- 21:42about things. Yes, yeah, we used to call them over there.
- 21:47Westpac was whenever you're going to West Pacific when all the ships leave. So
- 21:52that day there was Westpac widows at the e Club. Oh okay, women
- 21:59are terrible, as they called him the west Peck widows. Okay. So
- 22:03anyway, it was clear that something was going on between Jesse and Jared.
- 22:07Now police bring Jesse in and they confront her about what they found out about
- 22:11Jared. So they were saying, hey, we got this evidence that you've
- 22:17been hanging out with Jared. Will Jared was at the scene. Jared's been
- 22:19at your house when Vince was gone. Now you got alone on a car,
- 22:26taken out with old Jared. Yeah, that's pretty serious. So she's
- 22:30like, well, yeah, I know the dude, but there's nothing romantic
- 22:33and he only sleeps on the couch when he stayed over. Now, she
- 22:37even said that Bence knew Jared was over at their house when he was deployed
- 22:41or he was gone for training. Bullshit. Now, she did admit that
- 22:45Vince and her were having marital problems, but we're working on it. So
- 22:48that's probably why Vince was fine with Jared being at the house as a buffer,
- 22:52I'm guessing. Now, after denying her relationship with Jared for over three
- 22:57hours, she finally admitted that she maybe could have had sex with Jared when
- 23:03she had been drinking. Jesse also admitted to seeing Jared the day before and
- 23:08having had sex with him. She also told police that Jared had spoken to
- 23:14the drug dealers, and the drug dealers agreed that if Jared beat up thence
- 23:18they would be happy. And now they brought Jared into this situation. Yes,
- 23:23now, this is when he began working on a plan with Jesse to
- 23:27take Vince to Fidelio Road so he could just beat him up. She shouldn't
- 23:32be called Infidelio Road. Quite possibly thought that was super clever. Stewart infidel
- 23:41because they're infidelity. You get it, I get it. Okay, now,
- 23:47police, now see the motive. Jared and Jesse were having an affair,
- 23:51and Jesse would have been set to receive quite a bit of money from
- 23:55the military, and Vince died while enlisted. I mean, it's like two
- 24:00hundred thousand dollars an SGLI, but I think you can bump it up to
- 24:03them. Well, plus he had all those kids. I'm sure there was
- 24:06like some sort of well you can also support pay for more, but they
- 24:11give you like two hundred you know what I'm saying. Even so, I'm
- 24:12sure there was some I think there's probably some sort of support for children until
- 24:17they're eighteen or whatever too from the military. I don't know if anyway,
- 24:25So, yeah, so she might have this SGLI as much as a million
- 24:27dollars coming in if he if he uped the money. They don't seem like
- 24:32people that up the money to she was probably she was probably happy with just
- 24:37the one hundred thousand dollars or whatever that was. That to her was like
- 24:41winning the lottery right there. So anyway, police do not believe the drug
- 24:45dealer angle, and they believe that this story is concocted wholly just to cover
- 24:51up the murder of Vents. So they bring their information to the prosecutor,
- 24:56who decided to move forward with the charges Jesse. He was arrested and an
- 25:00arrest warrant was issued for Jared. He was picked up in Colorado and his
- 25:04truck was taken into evidence. Now, in the truck they found shell casings
- 25:08from the gun used to kill Vince, as well as a gunshot as well
- 25:12as gunshot residue inside and on the truck. Idiot, I know. They
- 25:18also found they really thought this drug dealer story was gonna like I'm telling you,
- 25:22these are not. I mean, when you see this Jesse girl too,
- 25:26she is not worth killing over Jesus Christ. I mean, I can't
- 25:30believe two men found her attractive at all. Stuart. I'm just saying she
- 25:36might have had that voodoo as No, she did not. I think there
- 25:41was a lot of alcohol involved with all of this. So anyway, so
- 25:45they also found a stain of blood on a backpack that was in the truck,
- 25:48and the test would eventually come back as belonging to Vince. They bring
- 25:52Jared in. He didn't even get rid of his backpack back with the blake.
- 25:55He didn't even get the shells out of his truck. They bring Jared
- 25:57in for questioning, and he had me straight away that him and Jesse had
- 26:00been having an affairs since back in September of twenty eleven. They even began
- 26:06living together since Vince was deployed. He told police that the day of the
- 26:10murder, he left town around five thirty PM, had left Jesse's who hadn't
- 26:15seen her since. However, police already had Jesse's statement that they had a
- 26:19plan to be to at least beat up Vince. So this is already she's
- 26:22already contradicting what Jared is saying about the five thirty. They've probably had a
- 26:27story to say that he left at five thirty if they did find out about
- 26:30the fair and Jesse already fucked it out. Yeah, So they told him
- 26:34that Jesse had already told them of their plan. And so this is when
- 26:38Jared asked for a lawyer because he's like, oh, he didn't know.
- 26:41He didn't know that the plan they were talking or they didn't say, like
- 26:45Jesse told us the plan of you to beat up Vince. They just said,
- 26:48she already told us of your plan and he didn't know. He was
- 26:52like, maybe it's the plan how we planned a murder, I don't know.
- 26:55So he asked for a lawyer and he stops talking. Jesse and Jared
- 27:00are set to go on trial, and police had strong evidence against Jared.
- 27:04However, the stuff against Jesse was mostly circumstantial. They also had another ding
- 27:11in the case, and that is Jesse's lawyer was able to get her statement
- 27:15to the Military police thrown out due to a technicality where during her interview with
- 27:22the local county or the sheriff's county, Yeah, it's the sheriff's department.
- 27:27The sheriff's department, she asked for a lawyer, so they its nonchalantly during
- 27:33the interview, She's like, I want an attorney or riding an attorney or
- 27:37something, So then they stopped the interview. But then she goes to talk
- 27:41to the Military police. Remember, because her friend talked her into going to
- 27:45talk to the police. As she's got yes, So she goes to the
- 27:48military police on base and talks to them about it. But she didn't tell
- 27:51them she wants an attorney. No, she didn't. So she's sitting there,
- 27:55she's telling the military police about all this crap, and they didn't stop
- 28:00her from talking, even though she didn't have a lawyer, even though she
- 28:03had requested one from the sheriff's department. But I'm guessing that the military polace
- 28:07didn't know that she It was like it was it was a technicality that she
- 28:14got that they argued because I guess she mentioned to her lawyer that she asked
- 28:18for an attorney there, and then he's like, well, then you should
- 28:19have been I mean, I don't know how they're supposed to know to communicate
- 28:22this stuff, Like, how would they know they were supposed to give her
- 28:26one? Yeah, I mean, well why didn't you go get one?
- 28:30Anyway, I don't know. It was so she didn't get one because they
- 28:32were like, oh, well, they should have sent her one up up
- 28:33peace. But they wouldn't even I don't even think they knew that that she
- 28:37asked her for an attorney at this didn't know and how would they know.
- 28:41They wouldn't unless she said, oh, by the way, I want an
- 28:45attorney. Now. Yeah, after she dug herself off, the lawyer was
- 28:48able to get this thrown out. A judge was like, okay, then
- 28:51it agreed with him and it was a technicality, but it worked. Yes,
- 28:56So the couple is let out on bell and they are monitor via an
- 29:00ankle monitor. Vince's family and friends are obviously livid. Now it would take
- 29:06there's two killers out there on the loose just living their lives with an ankle
- 29:10monitor, and it would take four years of arguments and appeals to get that
- 29:15decision of Jesse's statement where it was thrown out. They got that overturned,
- 29:21so now it's a back four years. Yeah, so now it's back where
- 29:23they can use it in her trial. Her trial. So when they're finally
- 29:29headed to trial, they did offer Jesse. The current prosecutor offered or the
- 29:33prosecutor at the time that had originally started the case offered Jesse a deal for
- 29:38twenty two and a half years in prison for her testimony against Jared. Now
- 29:42she agreed and they were able to go after Jared fully. Now, the
- 29:48prosecutor that worked that case, she said that she thought that Jesse should be
- 29:55offered the deal because she didn't actually kill Vince, that it was Jared who's
- 30:00shot him nine times, and she felt that he was more of the perpetrator.
- 30:03However, after Jesse did her plea deal, she's gonna, you know,
- 30:08go to trial and have a testimony against Jared. A new prosecutor comes
- 30:14into the position and he says it the other way. He feels like Jesse
- 30:18was the Jared. Yeah, it was the mastermind and Jared was just the
- 30:22trigger guy, you know, And so he felt that it wasn't fair for
- 30:26Jesse to get a plea deal and Jared not to get one. So in
- 30:30his position, he decides to offer Jared thirty years for a confession, and
- 30:33Jared agrees. So Jared is currently serving his time at the Eastern Kentucky Correction
- 30:38Complex and he'll be eligible for Pearl in twenty thirty two. Hopefully he never
- 30:44listens to this point, I know. And Jesse is in the Women's correctional
- 30:49facility in Kentucky and she will be eligible for Pearl in twenty thirty one.
- 30:55So they're going to be looking for us. So they're going to be looking
- 30:56for each other, looking for Yeah, so it all came down. The
- 31:03family was very upset with how this all turned out. For them to say
- 31:07that the one prosecutor to say that he felt Jared deserved didn't have to go
- 31:11to trial, he deserved to have the same opportunity as Jesse. It was
- 31:15kind of like, what are you doing? Like one of them's got to
- 31:21turn on the other to get the they had the stronger case against Jared's.
- 31:23They might she knew that maybe Jesse they could argue out and she might have
- 31:27got off during a trial. Jared definitely probably could have got life in prison.
- 31:32He probably he wouldn't even have been I guarantee he would kind of got
- 31:34death penalty, right, Oh yeah, the the shell casings in his truck,
- 31:40the blood, they could have easily got him convicted. So they're pretty
- 31:42pissed off about that new prosecutor just going and say, well, he deserves
- 31:47to have the same opportunity as Jesse, because he wasn't really the mastermind.
- 31:49He was just the guy who shot him. But they were saying, it's
- 31:52pretty sick to be the person who can shoot somebody nine times in cold blood
- 31:57like that. It kind of is yeah, over the girl. Whenever they
- 32:00got three kids. Yeah, I mean they plus now where they left all
- 32:05these kids, I mean the Jesse girls. Stupid. I can't believe she
- 32:07didn't think about her children. She just left them just yeah, raised by
- 32:14the family. Yeah, hopefully, I mean they could be in the system.
- 32:16We don't know. We you didn't follow up on it. Nobody should
- 32:20have researched that. Anyways, shut up, Stewart. Anyways, we gotta
- 32:25go check on the If you heard some a child in the background, occasionally
- 32:30there was one. She's still alive. She's still alive. She's up.
- 32:35She's been sick and so she hasn't been exerting a lot of energy the last
- 32:40couple of days. But she's starting to come out on the you know,
- 32:44the other end of being sick. So now she's just energized at this point.
- 32:47So because she hasn't been burning any energy. So anyways, we'll come
- 32:52back, and I guess does of course we'll be right back with our y'all
- 32:55need Jesus. All I can say is, for ever unclean, that was
- 33:01a much longer break than we anticipated. But we are back. We will
- 33:07finish this up. Oh children, there are so much fun. Yes,
- 33:15anyway, all right, there's no way around this. Florida or not Florida.
- 33:21You'll just have to guess right off the bat with no hints. Wait
- 33:27a minute. Pilot snorted coke off topless woman's chest for trying to fly,
- 33:35texted stewardess, I've been a very naughty boy Florida, not Florida. Well
- 33:39that's obviously not Florida, because he's been a naughty boy and that's not what
- 33:45no married. British Airways. I'm pretty sure snorting coke off or whatever the
- 33:52topless woman's chest, it's probably just a typical day in Florida. Quite possible.
- 33:58Now, if you haven't heard this story for some reason, somehow,
- 34:01it is from this one is from the New York Post on September twenty sixth,
- 34:07twenty twenty three. So this just happened, and this will make you
- 34:12feel real good about flying. Somebody got jokes in the story because they said
- 34:16he was going to wing it. British Airways pilot snorted coke off a topless
- 34:22woman's chest while partying hard in South Africa before he attempted to groggily fly a
- 34:29jam packed flight to London. According to our report, Mike beaton a married
- 34:35father of one, had a night off for downtime in Johannesburg before he was
- 34:39scheduled to co pilot a return flight to London four weeks ago. He spent
- 34:45the night indulging in booze, drugs, and women, and he boasted in
- 34:50text messages that he sent to a flight attendant pal. The Sun reported,
- 34:54I've been a very naughty boy, he told her. When he tried to
- 34:59fly following day, the crew member reported the pilot's alarming night to superiors,
- 35:04who canceled the twelve hour flight to he Throw Airport, costing British Airways roughly
- 35:09one hundred and twenty thousand dollars. According to the outlet, sometimes it's a
- 35:14good thing to be a snitch, Okay, Yes, especially if I'm gonna
- 35:16be on a flight with this summer, because then the the person that they're
- 35:21texting is going to be liable if something were to happen, if they found
- 35:25out, you know, because they're gonna if the plane were be the stewardess
- 35:30on that flight, nobody's gonna know because the plane's gonna go. Well,
- 35:31I know that, but I know what I'm saying. When they start looking,
- 35:35I don't know if that's it was the person on the flight with them.
- 35:37Yeah, oh well definitely to be like no, but I'm saying I
- 35:40thought that was somebody who wasn't on the flight. If you weren't on the
- 35:44flight and something happened that flight, they're going to pull that guy's entire life
- 35:47and try to figure out what happened. And they're going to find out you
- 35:51knew he'd been on a bender the night before and didn't tell anybody. Well,
- 35:53according based on the way they tell the story, I think it was
- 35:57a stewardess that was going to be on the flight. Oh definitely said something.
- 36:00I'm like, I'm not flying with this drunk motherfucker. No, So
- 36:04he was suspended. He was flown home as a passenger. The following day,
- 36:09he was drug tested at the airport and he throw, which he failed
- 36:13and was subsequently fired. What an idiot. He made it all the way
- 36:16up to, like, you know, that's the big time when you can
- 36:19fly those big planes. Oh yeah, that's where they work your whole life
- 36:22to get up there. You know, you start with these regional planes and
- 36:24I'm always on you're making making two three hundred thousand a ear flying those things,
- 36:30yeah, plus the perks and all that other crow Yeah anyway. In
- 36:34his tech text messages to the flight attendant, Beaton said that he had met
- 36:38two local men, a Welsh woman on vacation and a young Spanish bird at
- 36:45a Johannesburg nightclub. Is this Austin Powers anyway? I assume everybody in England
- 36:52is Austin Powers. So yeah, calling the ladies birds. Yeah. After
- 36:55hours of drinking, the group staggered to a hotel bar for a nightcap,
- 37:00before they ended up at one of the local men's apartments. The Welsh Welsh
- 37:06I'm guessing they call her, she's a Welsh woman, has decided that I
- 37:12should actually be her boyfriend. Spanish has hooked up with one of the two
- 37:16local lads and is having her t blank s sucked on their sofa. I'm
- 37:23gonna guess that's boobies. Yes, the girls were dancing topless when the cocaine
- 37:29arrived. Beating bragged I lost my shirt somewhere and one of the local lads
- 37:32produces a plate with a few lines of coke, he wrote. So then
- 37:37there's the debate about whose chest is the best to do a bump off of.
- 37:44That's the story of how I ended up snorting coke off of girls Tits
- 37:49and Joe Berg, he gleefully gloated, staying the night with the Welsh.
- 37:55Stayed the night with the Welsh. I don't even know why they bleeped this
- 38:00line in the story s h Dash shagged shagged her for ages. Well,
- 38:06I guess because it's the equivalent of like the F word for us. Well,
- 38:08yeah, but they they say shagged like all the time, like it's
- 38:13it never gets bleeped out. We don't know, we don't live there anyway.
- 38:17I guess the cop played a part, he continued, and then I
- 38:22was so fucked up I couldn't even lift my head until gone to. A
- 38:27source with British Airways told the son, the incident has left the airline and
- 38:30shot all of the bad behavior that goes on down route between flights. This
- 38:37instance the incident is hard to believe, the source said. A first officers
- 38:42trained rigorously and knows the law inside and out. Their remit is protecting the
- 38:47safety of passengers. The idea of sending details of his drinking drug sessions to
- 38:52a stewardess between flights is extraordinarily dumb, they added. When he was tested
- 38:59for drugs that he throw. The alcohol would no longer have been found in
- 39:04his system, but the class A drug was. He will never fly again,
- 39:08not anywhere where they check on records anyway. No, he'll end up
- 39:13flying in like South America some on your vacationloes. Yeah. British Airway sources
- 39:23told the son that the passengers on the flight were not at risk after beaten
- 39:28drug bench, while they would have been had the steward. It's not said
- 39:30something. The airline confirmed the pilot no longer works there that although I think
- 39:35he would have been caught by his co pilot. He would have seen something
- 39:37the pilot because he was the first officer. He was the co pilot on
- 39:42the flight. So yes, the first would have been. Yeah, they
- 39:45make too much money to be put screwed around like that, and they've worked
- 39:47too hard to get up to that level. No one's going to let some
- 39:50idiot, even the flight, even the flight attendants on those flights have worked
- 39:55really hard to get up to that point. Like getting those big inner national
- 40:00flights like that is a big deal, Like to work your way up from
- 40:04you know, flying from Lafayette to Houston. Then they've worked their way up,
- 40:07and you don't just get those types of jobs to be able to do
- 40:12that. Sure, some people fall onto it occasionally, but it's like a
- 40:15prestigious thing to be able to work on these huge international flights. So they're
- 40:19not going to screw their their career up either over some idiot or die in
- 40:22the pro Yeah. I feel sorry for his wife and his child. What
- 40:27a terrible human. His name was Mike Beaton, I think. Yeah,
- 40:30yeah, anyways, I would kill Stewart if he got me all in the
- 40:38public with his with some sort of stupidity and almost an international scene. Yeah,
- 40:46and there's a wife's at home like supporting her husband who's traveling all the
- 40:50time doing all this stuff. You know, he's living kind of a glamorous
- 40:52lifestyle in terms of getting to go because I know the flight attendants like whenever,
- 40:58like they get to go at lea spend the one night they get to
- 41:00go, spend the one night to wherever they land. So as long as
- 41:05they're responsible, they can see a lot of the world and everything like that.
- 41:07I mean, not like this guy, but no not, but like
- 41:10a normal like go to a restaurant, have a have a glass of wine,
- 41:14or two and see see things that you would never seen before. And
- 41:20he did this, but what an asshole? Anyways, all right, well
