- 0:36Speaker 1: I'll kind of just be like, good morning, sleep.
- 0:40Speaker 2: But Skeleter has like a very chill, chill vibe. Does
- 0:42Speaker 2: he even respond?
- 0:43Speaker 5: Yeah, he's like good morning.
- 0:45Speaker 3: I feel like he's not. I feel like he's like,
- 0:50Speaker 3: what is it?
- 0:51Speaker 2: Well, I'm coming to me, Ruby, you and David. First thing,
- 0:54Speaker 2: first thing, alarm goes off, you're in the bed. Who
- 0:57Speaker 2: says what?
- 0:59Speaker 6: Usually it's me And I'll just say hey, Pooky, I
- 1:04Speaker 6: call him Pooky Poky okay.
- 1:08Speaker 2: And Malia's single and ming okay, so I can.
- 1:12Speaker 6: Still say something someone in the okay.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Well, I don't know if you are listening or not,
- 1:19Speaker 2: So Malia say at your own risk.
- 1:21Speaker 5: I won't even say good morning. I'll be like, yo,
- 1:23Speaker 5: what's good?
- 1:24Speaker 3: Like that's good?
- 1:27Speaker 5: What's good?
- 1:28Speaker 2: Bear?
- 1:29Speaker 3: Can you imagine be bear.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, So can you imagine if I was, you know,
- 1:36Speaker 2: in my relationship, which could be coming, and I woke
- 1:40Speaker 2: up and I was like, yeah, that's good bear.
- 1:44Speaker 7: But it's like that, it's like a trolly, funny good morning,
- 1:48Speaker 7: Like I don't know, you're sweet in the morning. Let's
- 1:50Speaker 7: start off with like like a gag.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Oh no, see, I have to be sweet in the morning.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, I have to be yeah.
- 1:58Speaker 2: And then because then my call he kicks in, and
- 2:00Speaker 2: then it's even sweeter, is Michaile?
- 2:03Speaker 1: I am here?
- 2:04Speaker 2: Oh yes you are. What is the first thing everybody
- 2:08Speaker 2: listening right now? You know you do it? You know
- 2:10Speaker 2: you did it. What's the first thing you say if
- 2:14Speaker 2: there's somebody.
- 2:15Speaker 1: There this morning? I'm a warning person.
- 2:23Speaker 3: You are more.
- 2:24Speaker 2: We all are, yeah, exactly.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Even on the weekends.
- 2:28Speaker 8: So normally I like moan, so I do like, uh, yeah,
- 2:34Speaker 8: it does feel good to do that.
- 2:36Speaker 1: What a treat. Yeah, wake up next to you.
- 2:39Speaker 3: I say, yeah, it's great.
- 2:41Speaker 2: And then I say, let me open the blinds and
- 2:43Speaker 2: let me run down and brew the coffee and I'll
- 2:45Speaker 2: be right back with your coffee and good morning.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Mark. When you when you get up at three four
- 2:52Speaker 3: in the morning. I don't say word to anybody.
- 2:54Speaker 2: How many years with amy?
- 2:56Speaker 5: Twenty nine?
- 2:58Speaker 2: Twenty nine years of marriage and you don't say anything.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Not when it's dark.
- 3:05Speaker 2: No, I don't want to wake anybody.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Just get up and get out.
- 3:08Speaker 2: But these little things, gosh, twenty nine, we have not
- 3:11Speaker 2: gotten deep on this, twenty nine years of marriage that
- 3:15Speaker 2: we should be celebrated. I want to celebrate that by
- 3:17Speaker 2: sending you to OHI again.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Oh, oh, thank you so much.
- 3:20Speaker 9: Wow.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Twenty nine years of marriage.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Together, twenty four of marriage.
- 3:27Speaker 2: That's a long time. Yeah, let's see if I do
- 3:30Speaker 2: the math. Wow, I don't know. If you look at
- 3:37Speaker 2: longevity and twenty nine plus my age, it's a toss
- 3:40Speaker 2: up exactly. Anyway, come on, anyways.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 3:47Speaker 2: That's important though, Like what you do, how you set
- 3:49Speaker 2: the tone in the morning, it's very important.
- 3:51Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 3:52Speaker 2: So we got Sunshine High's upper eighties nineties Inland on
- 3:57Speaker 2: two point seven FM.
- 4:00Speaker 3: That ru Yeah, desperate to talk to you about this.
- 4:06Speaker 2: So you have joined good on you fitness Health Priority.
- 4:12Speaker 2: You have joined an all female gym.
- 4:15Speaker 6: Yes, I recently did about a month ago. Actually, why,
- 4:20Speaker 6: I just was tired of going to gym's where there's
- 4:23Speaker 6: like a lot of sweaty men there.
- 4:27Speaker 5: Sweaty rugs, like grunting and when they're you know, weightlifting.
- 4:32Speaker 6: So I found this gym that was literally all women,
- 4:35Speaker 6: and I initially loved it, but now I'm a little
- 4:39Speaker 6: like concerned, just a little concern.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Why what's wrong?
- 4:42Speaker 6: Uh, there's a lot of gossiping going on, which oh
- 4:45Speaker 6: really yeah, a lot of tea is being spilt. Which
- 4:48Speaker 6: don't get me wrong, I love some good cheese man, right,
- 4:51Speaker 6: but it feels a little counterproductive, especially when I'm like
- 4:54Speaker 6: mid hip thrust and I'm like paying attention to what
- 4:58Speaker 6: they're gossiping about versus like try to focus on my
- 5:00Speaker 6: breath or trying to focus on the exercise.
- 5:03Speaker 5: It just feels like a little I don't know.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Are these your friends or just like gym mates.
- 5:09Speaker 5: No gym mates, not friends, like I can.
- 5:11Speaker 2: What are some topics of cheese mate that they get
- 5:14Speaker 2: into while you are squeezing yours for.
- 5:16Speaker 11: The squeezing the Yeah, they'll talk about like people trying
- 5:22Speaker 11: to avoid certain times because they know, like someone they
- 5:24Speaker 11: don't like at the gym is going to be, you know,
- 5:27Speaker 11: at the nine thirty session, So they don't want to
- 5:29Speaker 11: come to that session, or they don't want to come
- 5:31Speaker 11: to the three thirty session because you know, they know
- 5:33Speaker 11: that that's the time they're off work.
- 5:35Speaker 5: So just like stuff like that or so and so
- 5:37Speaker 5: is like cheating on her husband.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Oh see, I don't like to know that stuff. Yeah,
- 5:41Speaker 1: I'm just like, you're involved.
- 5:43Speaker 2: So do you think should you go? Is it better
- 5:45Speaker 2: to go back to the gym with the guys who sweat?
- 5:49Speaker 5: See, that's where I'm at.
- 5:50Speaker 2: I don't.
- 5:50Speaker 6: I think that's definitely not the answer. But I'm just
- 5:54Speaker 6: I don't know if if there's a way to address
- 5:56Speaker 6: it or do I just have to wear like air.
- 5:57Speaker 5: Pods and just drown out?
- 5:59Speaker 3: Yeah, people do that.
- 6:00Speaker 2: But can I go on records saying I don't understand women?
- 6:06Speaker 2: Because still this is like it's like literally I'm getting
- 6:12Speaker 2: my PhD with all these years with this teaching here,
- 6:15Speaker 2: but I don't understand. So I go to the gym
- 6:20Speaker 2: to work out, to look good, to like a little pomp,
- 6:26Speaker 2: sweat a little bit because I want to be seen
- 6:29Speaker 2: by a girl at the gym, Like that's the whole
- 6:32Speaker 2: that's why I'm there.
- 6:34Speaker 1: You're trying to meet girls at the gym, not.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Meat, not meat. Take notice. I want them to take notice.
- 6:42Speaker 5: You want some validation, I want.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. I want somebody to look over and go
- 6:48Speaker 2: be bad, not bad, not bad, not bad. See is
- 6:53Speaker 2: that that's the difference thing?
- 6:54Speaker 3: Guys.
- 6:54Speaker 2: It goes like I I don't want to go to
- 6:56Speaker 2: a gym with all dudes because I would like to,
- 7:00Speaker 2: you know, have someone compliment me that could be a
- 7:03Speaker 2: potential future wife. You know, well there doing Yeah Ruby,
- 7:12Speaker 2: let us know what you do. But good on you
- 7:13Speaker 2: forgetting your fitness up there as a priority. Kid FM,
- 7:16Speaker 2: we have to jump into this. Don't move This is
- 7:19Speaker 2: very interesting. You should know that, like this show, we're
- 7:23Speaker 2: in a little room and sometimes you don't feel like
- 7:25Speaker 2: anybody's out there. So we talk about stuff that you
- 7:27Speaker 2: probably wouldn't talk about in front of a ten thousand
- 7:30Speaker 2: person crowd. But it makes it more comfortable and intimate
- 7:33Speaker 2: and relaxed and unvarnished and casual. And Sophia has learned
- 7:37Speaker 2: that the hard way. Our intern who leaves it tomorrow, Yeah,
- 7:41Speaker 2: tomorrow's the last day, so you told me, and I
- 7:46Speaker 2: appreciate your candor. You talked about your relationship on the air.
- 7:50Speaker 2: You talked about this guy's Skeletory you met on Halloween.
- 7:53Speaker 2: You guys have now gotten to the place of boyfriend
- 7:56Speaker 2: girlfriend And I lived all the steps.
- 7:59Speaker 3: I lived the great I lived the ups and downs.
- 8:01Speaker 2: But then you said on the air there were some
- 8:03Speaker 2: red flags about Skeletor and his sister not wrong, is
- 8:11Speaker 2: like trying to defend this and was not thrilled with
- 8:16Speaker 2: you announcing negativity or red flags about her brother on
- 8:20Speaker 2: the air, and this caused real profound tension.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Correct, yes, that is more than correct.
- 8:28Speaker 2: And have you reached out to say, look, I'm sorry
- 8:32Speaker 2: or I didn't mean insult or what's happened?
- 8:34Speaker 1: So we actually did meet a couple of nights ago.
- 8:37Speaker 12: We went out to dinner meet him and her, and
- 8:40Speaker 12: it was going really good. The show actually hadn't come
- 8:43Speaker 12: up or like red flags or anything like that. And then,
- 8:46Speaker 12: funny enough, Skeletor was the one who brought up the
- 8:49Speaker 12: red flag concept and like kind of like threw me
- 8:52Speaker 12: under the bus and away to like bring up that topic.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Or break the ice.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Break the ice.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Yeah, so I guess I just had to face it.
- 8:58Speaker 12: And then I kind of just like explained and I
- 9:01Speaker 12: told her, I was like, I'm so sorry, like I
- 9:03Speaker 12: promise it wasn't like that. And then we actually listen
- 9:07Speaker 12: to the podcast segment of Ryan when we all talked
- 9:10Speaker 12: about we kind of.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Like cleared the air or we cleared the air on air.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Wait, like a football player watches game film after the
- 9:17Speaker 2: game watch.
- 9:18Speaker 9: Yes, I'm even trying to prove herself, but like it
- 9:21Speaker 9: wasn't bad.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, I had to like prove myself.
- 9:26Speaker 12: So thankfully she listened to it and she's like, okay,
- 9:29Speaker 12: like we're all good, like don't worry, like, and we
- 9:32Speaker 12: laughed it off.
- 9:32Speaker 1: So thankfully, now there's no beef and we're all good.
- 9:35Speaker 2: You know, the best thing to do when there is
- 9:38Speaker 2: a beef for tension is just address it head on
- 9:40Speaker 2: because normally it's the narrative that others take further and
- 9:45Speaker 2: make worse when they don't have all the facts.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Yeah, gosh, I love this show.
- 9:49Speaker 3: What's Next? All right?
- 9:50Speaker 2: The worst night of the week to go out to dinner?
- 9:52Speaker 2: Chefs will tell you next. What's your point seven?
- 9:54Speaker 3: Kiss?
- 9:54Speaker 4: FM?
- 9:55Speaker 3: All right? What was your fall in that career? Mine?
- 9:57Speaker 2: I really admire chefs. I think it is it is
- 10:01Speaker 2: a very difficult job. The hours, the performance, the consistency
- 10:08Speaker 2: that you've got to maintain with every single meal and
- 10:11Speaker 2: day and night and plate. It's a really hard job.
- 10:15Speaker 2: I watched Jon Favreau in the movie. I mean, it's
- 10:17Speaker 2: a hard job. So I thought, if this didn't work out,
- 10:23Speaker 2: I would try to do that. And I you know,
- 10:25Speaker 2: I love food, love ingredients, I like all this stuff.
- 10:27Speaker 2: So a bunch of chefs were asked what night is
- 10:31Speaker 2: the worst night to eat at a restaurant.
- 10:35Speaker 3: They all said Sunday.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Yep, I could see that.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Because the best staff is off ingredients, not fresh They've
- 10:46Speaker 2: been around right for the week, because fresh stuff comes Monday.
- 10:49Speaker 2: The best night of the week is Thursday to eat out.
- 10:53Speaker 9: Yeah, could they probably stock up on Thursdays for the weekend.
- 10:56Speaker 2: US quote of the day to the young youth people
- 11:02Speaker 2: of the world and anybody in between. Maybe your garden
- 11:07Speaker 2: isn't growing because every time a flower grows, you cut
- 11:11Speaker 2: it to prove to someone that you are a gardener.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Deep, I really don't get it.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Actually, I can't the floor get it.
- 11:22Speaker 1: And why are you trying to prove your gardener?
- 11:25Speaker 2: Mark? I actually fully don't quite comprehend it.
- 11:29Speaker 1: It's about sabotaging your own progress. By seeking validation.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Okay, thank you, okay, y well, let me add one
- 11:38Speaker 2: more comparison is the Thief of.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Joy clock I Like It Period.
- 11:48Speaker 2: One A two point seven Just FM headlines with sin Well.
- 11:53Speaker 9: The twenty twenty six FIFA World Cup officially kicks off
- 11:57Speaker 9: in Mexico City today at noon with a group A
- 12:00Speaker 9: match between Mexico and South Africa. Fans who missed out
- 12:05Speaker 9: on tickets for the twenty twenty eight LA Olympics will
- 12:08Speaker 9: get another chance through a second ticket drop from August
- 12:11Speaker 9: tenth through August twenty. The state of California says it
- 12:15Speaker 9: has received tremendous interest in a proposed Disneyland themed license plate.
- 12:21Speaker 1: The project now moves to the DMV.
- 12:23Speaker 9: Approval stage, and one night after watching the Knicks come
- 12:27Speaker 9: back to beat the Spurs, Taylor Swift will be inducted
- 12:31Speaker 9: into the Songwriters Hall of Fame tonight in New York City.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Edwidge Maya on a kiss a fan. So, my brother
- 12:39Speaker 2: Chewy has been out all over southern California. He's been
- 12:42Speaker 2: buying free gas. He what he does is he rolls
- 12:45Speaker 2: up surprise station, surprise person, and just buys their tank.
- 12:49Speaker 2: I'm gonna have you call in to win free gas
- 12:51Speaker 2: in just a few minutes. But Chuey, you have met
- 12:53Speaker 2: some awesome characters and people and super good like amazing
- 12:58Speaker 2: human beings. Who do you have with you now in
- 13:00Speaker 2: Monrovia at the gas station to get free gas?
- 13:04Speaker 4: I'm with my man Jeremy, and we're here and hanging out,
- 13:07Speaker 4: and I rolled up on him and I'm hooking him
- 13:09Speaker 4: up with some free gas. He actually does security at
- 13:12Speaker 4: Rosemead High School, but they're doing the summer camp now,
- 13:15Speaker 4: so he's keeping everybody in check and in line at
- 13:17Speaker 4: summer camp at Rose meat High Here you.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Is, Hello, Hawai, It's Ryan Seacrest.
- 13:23Speaker 3: How you doing?
- 13:24Speaker 4: Hi?
- 13:24Speaker 8: Ryan?
- 13:25Speaker 13: How you doing?
- 13:26Speaker 3: Jeremy? I am solid.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Now tell me this as the security guide officer, as
- 13:31Speaker 2: law enforcement and the authority. What is the most common
- 13:35Speaker 2: violation with students?
- 13:38Speaker 10: You don't know what they're doing there?
- 13:39Speaker 14: Uh, they're right been in the bathroom, all right?
- 13:42Speaker 2: So they sneak a vape with noah roma, no smell
- 13:45Speaker 2: or do they have the smell of watermelon?
- 13:47Speaker 14: The mango is very popular from what I see.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Yeah, And when do you catch someone, what do you do? Confiscate? Uh?
- 13:57Speaker 15: Yeah, yeah, we gotta take it away and we usually
- 14:00Speaker 15: we you know, we tell the teacher and everything.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Then they deal with it. Amazing. I mean I see
- 14:07Speaker 2: people in my life that they like, you know, when
- 14:09Speaker 2: they're out and they try and like take the little thing,
- 14:11Speaker 2: cover it with their hand and then put it to
- 14:13Speaker 2: their mouth and sneak it like you can under the table. Yeah,
- 14:18Speaker 2: it's like your head is under the table. You're squeezing
- 14:22Speaker 2: this thing putting it to your mouth. Oh, I didn't
- 14:24Speaker 2: see it. And by the way, it smells like juice,
- 14:27Speaker 2: solicious whatever.
- 14:31Speaker 14: They think they can hide it in the shirt, but
- 14:33Speaker 14: it just it just comes out.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Jerry. Enough about that. Let's get to your free gas.
- 14:39Speaker 2: We are buying your tank of gas to go to
- 14:42Speaker 2: school to confiscate.
- 14:46Speaker 14: Thank you so much. I appreciate it.
- 14:48Speaker 2: You are very welcome my brother. Thanks for the good
- 14:51Speaker 2: work you're doing. You take good care of his safe day.
- 14:54Speaker 10: You too, Ryan, Thank you so much.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 14:58Speaker 4: Oh man, but Ray brings you gotta stop the vaping.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Yeah, do you vape?
- 15:04Speaker 2: Dude?
- 15:04Speaker 4: I don't vape, bro, No, I can't. I got a
- 15:06Speaker 4: beautiful voice.
- 15:11Speaker 2: I love the humility. All right, come out, Chewie Martinez.
- 15:18Speaker 2: So if you've got our free ieartradio app. Thank you
- 15:21Speaker 2: and when you go inside you can leave us a
- 15:23Speaker 2: voice note that red microphone. I got someone to play here,
- 15:26Speaker 2: so Sysney, Tanya, Everybody, Teddy and Granada Hills. So we
- 15:30Speaker 2: were talking about what to do if someone asks for
- 15:34Speaker 2: your number and you don't want to give them your number.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Here's what Teddy thinks about that.
- 15:41Speaker 16: My name is Teddy. I just wanted to respond to
- 15:43Speaker 16: the clip about Mikayla giving out her number when jamn
- 15:46Speaker 16: want to. We don't owe these boys anything. If you
- 15:50Speaker 16: do not want to give your number out, just say no.
- 15:53Speaker 16: We need to stand in our power and talk about
- 15:55Speaker 16: being a modern woman.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Love you all.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess Mikayla, just say no, I'm not interested.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Just say no.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Like our interurn Malia did to the Beret boy. It
- 16:06Speaker 2: was five to two and she didn't want to date
- 16:08Speaker 2: a guy five too, so she said no, sorry, five
- 16:13Speaker 2: and a half? What about five six?
- 16:15Speaker 1: Yes?
- 16:18Speaker 3: All right?
- 16:20Speaker 2: Olga in Tarzana loved our quote the other day. I
- 16:24Speaker 2: can't remember what our quote was today.
- 16:26Speaker 9: I didn't tell you, og Ryan.
- 16:28Speaker 8: I just wanted to tell that I really love the quote.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Today's quote.
- 16:34Speaker 8: It just hits me right in a moment and it's
- 16:39Speaker 8: a great reminder. Honestly, thank you very much again listening
- 16:45Speaker 8: to you all day long, guys.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Well, thank you. And here is the quote she was
- 16:49Speaker 3: talking about.
- 16:50Speaker 2: I got it. The quote was, don't wait for the
- 16:53Speaker 2: stars to align, reach up and rearrange them the way
- 16:57Speaker 2: you want for real, Williams. Yeah, what's up for all?
- 17:02Speaker 3: All right?
- 17:03Speaker 2: Our Sally in the eight one eight is requesting a
- 17:05Speaker 2: shout out. Here is our Sally.
- 17:07Speaker 17: Good morning, Ryan, Good morning, Sissany and Tanya. I wanted
- 17:12Speaker 17: to see if you guys can give me a birthday
- 17:14Speaker 17: shout out. Today is my birthday. My name is Ada Sally.
- 17:18Speaker 17: I listen to you guys every single morning. I am
- 17:21Speaker 17: very thankful for what you guys do and I laugh
- 17:25Speaker 17: with you guys every morning.
- 17:27Speaker 1: So a birthday shout out would be nice.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Thank you, Sally. Happy birthday to you. Thank you for listening,
- 17:33Speaker 2: Appreciate your loyalty and dedication, and have a great celebration today.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Don't wait for the stars to a line, reach up
- 17:39Speaker 2: and rearrange them the way you want. Yeah, froh Williams.
- 17:43Speaker 2: All right, friends, moving forward, almost time for Ryan's Roses
- 17:49Speaker 2: one two point seven us FM it's time for Ryan's roses.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Let's not delay. So you know, Hailey has heard us
- 17:57Speaker 2: do this on the air, and it's a last resort.
- 17:59Speaker 2: We don't want to do it, but if you need
- 18:01Speaker 2: peace of mind in your relationship, right to us. She said, Hey,
- 18:04Speaker 2: I'm told that my husband's been giving preferential treatment to
- 18:07Speaker 2: a new young employee at his office and that she
- 18:10Speaker 2: is very pretty. There is even a rumor that she
- 18:13Speaker 2: went with him on a business trip and they only
- 18:17Speaker 2: booked one hotel room. Oh so that's now, what's a rumor.
- 18:21Speaker 2: It's a rumor. Let's start now, Hayley, tell me about
- 18:24Speaker 2: this pro referential treatment you're hearing about.
- 18:29Speaker 13: Hey, So, I mean I used to go to all
- 18:33Speaker 13: of his work events, so I know quite a few
- 18:36Speaker 13: of his coworkers, and a few of them have reached
- 18:39Speaker 13: out to me recently, so it feels like a little
- 18:43Speaker 13: more than a rumor. But they said that he has
- 18:47Speaker 13: some connection with this new coworker lady. Her name is Jamie.
- 18:53Speaker 13: She's some young girl who walks around the office. She
- 18:58Speaker 13: just wears low cut pops and mini skirts the whole time.
- 19:02Speaker 13: And they sent me her Instagram and nothing but bikini
- 19:05Speaker 13: shots and skimpy dresses and honestly, she's definitely his the type.
- 19:12Speaker 13: And then last week they went to New York for
- 19:14Speaker 13: business and they say that she went with him and
- 19:19Speaker 13: they only got one hotel room that they saw on
- 19:22Speaker 13: the expense report.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Wow.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Now, what kind of a job is it that she
- 19:30Speaker 2: wears these little miniskirts.
- 19:32Speaker 13: For It's an office job, okay.
- 19:38Speaker 2: And why would they stay in at like a hotel
- 19:43Speaker 2: together one?
- 19:45Speaker 3: Is that even legal with the company.
- 19:49Speaker 13: Well, I'm not sure if that's true or not, you know,
- 19:54Speaker 13: but apparently that's what they heard, that she might have
- 19:56Speaker 13: gone with him and that they only saw one hotel
- 20:00Speaker 13: on the expense reports.
- 20:02Speaker 2: But can you believe like rumors?
- 20:04Speaker 3: Okay?
- 20:05Speaker 2: Can you actually trust your source here?
- 20:08Speaker 13: I mean, I know these people, like we go to
- 20:11Speaker 13: like Christmas parties with them and stuff, so they have
- 20:14Speaker 13: my number, you know. And if it was just one
- 20:16Speaker 13: person that was saying it, then I would take it.
- 20:20Speaker 13: I would take it with a grain of salt. But
- 20:21Speaker 13: it's been several of them.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Have you. Have you addressed this directly with your partner,
- 20:28Speaker 2: your husband?
- 20:30Speaker 13: Well, so far, I don't have any proof. It's just rumors.
- 20:34Speaker 13: I just need to catch him in the act.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Okay, got it, Listen, I'm with you.
- 20:38Speaker 2: If I were to hear like rumors like this, I
- 20:42Speaker 2: would want to find out if I can, what's really
- 20:45Speaker 2: going on, because otherwise it's eating you up. And it's
- 20:48Speaker 2: absolutely First of all, what's her name? This mini skirt woman, Jamie?
- 20:56Speaker 2: Jamie should not be first of not, probably dress like
- 21:00Speaker 2: that at work, and then also dressing like that on
- 21:03Speaker 2: a work trip, and then staying with your husband. It's bad.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Do me a favor, take a breath, stand by, we
- 21:09Speaker 2: come back. We will address it. Do we like Jamie?
- 21:13Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 21:14Speaker 2: This is one of two point seven kids FM and
- 21:17Speaker 2: this is Ryan's Rose's We just met Hayley. She was
- 21:23Speaker 2: telling us that she's got like all kinds of things
- 21:26Speaker 2: in her head because there are rumors that her husband
- 21:30Speaker 2: is flirting giving preferential treatment to a younger woman at
- 21:34Speaker 2: work named Jamie who is dressing provocatively, I think would
- 21:38Speaker 2: be the way to say it. Then she finds out
- 21:42Speaker 2: that they traveled on a business trip and stayed in
- 21:45Speaker 2: the same hotel room.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Like you can't.
- 21:50Speaker 9: That's a horrible you cannot seem to be told by
- 21:53Speaker 9: multiple people.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Well, and these are rumors and she wants peace of mind. So, Hayley,
- 21:58Speaker 2: let's go. I need you to say, Bryan, you have
- 22:01Speaker 2: my permission to call, and then your husband's name, Ryan.
- 22:06Speaker 13: You have my permission to call.
- 22:09Speaker 2: His name. Okay, So we're going to you. Be very quiet.
- 22:15Speaker 2: We are going to make the call. We're going to
- 22:17Speaker 2: find out. You'll listen in on this. We want to
- 22:19Speaker 2: find out who he is thinking about. Is it Jamie
- 22:23Speaker 2: or is it you? Because it's Ryan, it's roses. Ryan's
- 22:26Speaker 2: like romantic roses. Obviously there's they should go to you.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Here we go, Hu, Hi is this Brandon? Yes speaking
- 22:47Speaker 2: Hi Brandon.
- 22:47Speaker 9: My name is Celeste. I'm calling from Beach Blooms. How
- 22:50Speaker 9: are you doing this morning?
- 22:52Speaker 4: Uh?
- 22:53Speaker 15: I'm doing a right Sorry? Who is this again?
- 22:57Speaker 1: Beach Blooms.
- 22:58Speaker 9: We're actually a local flower shop here on Second Street
- 23:01Speaker 9: and deliver locally in Long Beach and surrounding areas. And

- 23:06Speaker 9: roses that you can send anybody they'd like.

- 23:12Speaker 1: I don't I don't need cash from you.
- 23:13Speaker 9: Yeah, I don't need anything credit card info. It's not
- 23:16Speaker 9: a subscription, it's just a promotion we do about once
- 23:18Speaker 9: a month to try to, you know, gain customers, and
- 23:21Speaker 9: we hope that if you like our arrangements, you come
- 23:23Speaker 9: back as a customer one day. But these are free.
- 23:25Speaker 9: You can send them to anybody.
- 23:27Speaker 15: Okay, I got it. Yeah, sure, great, that sounds good.
- 23:31Speaker 1: What's the name of the person you want to send
- 23:32Speaker 1: them to.
- 23:35Speaker 15: Her name is Jamie.
- 23:37Speaker 9: Amazing, And what would you like to put on the
- 23:39Speaker 9: card for Jamie?
- 23:42Speaker 15: Oh, card, I don't know, maybe something something like I
- 23:52Speaker 15: could stare into those eyes. No, it's it's kind of cheesy.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Oh, I don't know.
- 23:59Speaker 15: It's I don't like you take my breath away?
- 24:01Speaker 1: You take my breath away. Okay, we'll do that.
- 24:04Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Okay, that's not that is cheesy.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Both and your voice is being broadcast on the radio. Brandon,
- 24:12Speaker 2: I have your wife, Hayley on the line. You work
- 24:16Speaker 2: with Jamie.
- 24:17Speaker 3: I know this.
- 24:18Speaker 2: You've been treating it really well. She dresses provocatively. And
- 24:21Speaker 2: recently you had a business trip. Did you stay in
- 24:24Speaker 2: the same hotel.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Room you did? What we know?
- 24:30Speaker 15: I'm sorry, what is going on where I was talking
- 24:36Speaker 15: to a flower shop?
- 24:37Speaker 2: No, Brandon, the questions are going to come from this side,
- 24:41Speaker 2: you provide the answers. You are having an affair with
- 24:46Speaker 2: your coworker Jamie, true or false.
- 24:51Speaker 15: I'm sorry, this is kind of this is I don't
- 24:56Speaker 15: know what this is, but I'm not participating. I didn't
- 24:59Speaker 15: sign up for this.
- 25:00Speaker 2: No, neither did I trust me. The last thing I
- 25:03Speaker 2: wanted to do was have this conversation with you about
- 25:07Speaker 2: you cheating on your wife with Jamie and her little
- 25:09Speaker 2: provocative skirts and staying with her at the Fairmont when
- 25:13Speaker 2: you're on business trips. So why don't you just come clean?
- 25:17Speaker 2: Because your wife is on the line.
- 25:21Speaker 15: My wife is on the line.
- 25:24Speaker 3: Is there an echo?
- 25:25Speaker 2: Yes?
- 25:25Speaker 3: Brother, your wife is on the line.
- 25:29Speaker 15: I'm not married.
- 25:31Speaker 1: You're not married to Haley. Haley. No, no chime in,
- 25:37Speaker 1: who's Haley?
- 25:38Speaker 10: Okay?
- 25:40Speaker 13: I'm not your wife? But okay. People that you work
- 25:50Speaker 13: with asked me to do this, and your relationship with
- 25:54Speaker 13: Jamie is apparently causing a lot of problems at the office.
- 25:58Speaker 9: I mean.
- 26:00Speaker 15: The most.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Haley. Hold on for a second. Brandon, Hold Hailey, you
- 26:08Speaker 2: are not romantically involved, dating, engaged, or married to Brandon.
- 26:12Speaker 2: You lied to us, yes.
- 26:15Speaker 13: But only because his coworkers put me up to this.
- 26:18Speaker 13: Because they wanted to find out if he was actually
- 26:21Speaker 13: in fact having an affair or inappropriate relationship with Brand
- 26:27Speaker 13: does he have?
- 26:28Speaker 3: But Brandon, are you single?
- 26:31Speaker 15: I am not married. I don't understand what is going
- 26:34Speaker 15: on right now, but this is completely unacceptable.
- 26:38Speaker 3: I agree.
- 26:39Speaker 2: I mean literally, we have a lot to do here,
- 26:42Speaker 2: and I really appreciate it your story, but you literally
- 26:47Speaker 2: lied to us. We had compassion for what you know
- 26:50Speaker 2: was you were going through empathy, and you lied to
- 26:55Speaker 2: us about all of it with great detail. I will
- 26:58Speaker 2: I will not take this call any fir there. Brandon,
- 27:00Speaker 2: I don't know what's going on with you in a
- 27:02Speaker 2: colleague and Haley, that's just not cool.
- 27:04Speaker 10: Yeah, this is so out of line.
- 27:07Speaker 15: This is so irresponsible of you to try to dish
- 27:10Speaker 15: on the radio.
- 27:12Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 27:12Speaker 15: This, this is definitely gonna be brought up with with
- 27:15Speaker 15: my boss. Yeah, now like I'm bringing in with Gary.
- 27:19Speaker 15: You know Gary, if you were working, if you're working
- 27:21Speaker 15: with me, so this is going to Gary.
- 27:24Speaker 3: Take it to Gary.
- 27:25Speaker 13: That's true, then you don't have anything to worry about.
- 27:27Speaker 13: But it's not. Then I guess you have some explaining
- 27:30Speaker 13: to do to Gary.
- 27:31Speaker 2: But Haley, don't call us if it's not your partner,
- 27:34Speaker 2: like married.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Not what Ryan's roses is about.
- 27:38Speaker 2: No, this is if you're with somebody, you're married, engaged, whatever,
- 27:42Speaker 2: and you need to get to the bottom of it.
- 27:44Speaker 2: But like, honestly, you kind of wasted everyone's time, all right, Brandon,
- 27:53Speaker 2: I don't know what's gonna happen. Good luck, Hailey, I'm
- 27:56Speaker 2: not quite sure. Maybe you are interested in Brandon may
- 28:00Speaker 2: That's what is in the back of my mind. I
- 28:05Speaker 2: like you, Haley. I just don't want you to lie
- 28:08Speaker 2: to everybody listening right now because we just lost eight
- 28:13Speaker 2: minutes of our lives. And good luck ry I do
- 28:19Speaker 2: want to say ninety nine percent of the people who
- 28:23Speaker 2: we do speak to do it out of the right place.
- 28:26Speaker 2: That was us being used one. But maybe she's in
- 28:32Speaker 2: love with Brandon.
- 28:33Speaker 1: I don't think. I don't think she even knows him.
- 28:35Speaker 1: I don't think she knows him.
- 28:38Speaker 2: On air with Ryan Seacrest, I just kiss up him.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 28:44Speaker 2: I gotta get this call because it's right in my
- 28:47Speaker 2: Wheeler house.
- 28:49Speaker 3: This is Erica and.
- 28:51Speaker 2: She's called because she needs officient advice for a wedding.
- 28:56Speaker 3: How perfect you know, Erica? Thank you?
- 29:02Speaker 2: So, what's the issue you need an officiant and you
- 29:05Speaker 2: need an advice about it?
- 29:08Speaker 10: No.
- 29:08Speaker 18: So, so my husband and I were asked to co
- 29:12Speaker 18: officiate our friend's wedding, and so we were very honored
- 29:16Speaker 18: and excited. But now it's approaching and we're kind of
- 29:20Speaker 18: terrified and we just don't know what to do.
- 29:23Speaker 10: And so it's wondering if you had any advice.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Oh yeah, so what do you what do you confuse?
- 29:30Speaker 2: What are you stumped about? What are you worried about?
- 29:32Speaker 18: Well, so we know one of them really really well,
- 29:35Speaker 18: we go way back. But her, you know, fiance, her
- 29:38Speaker 18: soon to be husband, we don't know as well. And
- 29:41Speaker 18: so do you talk do you like, talk to them separately?
- 29:44Speaker 10: Do you talk to them as a couple?
- 29:46Speaker 15: Like?
- 29:46Speaker 10: How much you know? How do you How much preparation
- 29:49Speaker 10: do you do in advance for what you're going to do?
- 29:51Speaker 3: You do quite a bit.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Honestly, you do quite a bit because you want it
- 29:54Speaker 2: to be seamless when you get there, and you want
- 29:56Speaker 2: everybody at the wedding to feel like you know the
- 29:59Speaker 2: story and the petty of both the room and the bride.
- 30:04Speaker 2: So is this a wedding that will be a destination
- 30:07Speaker 2: or local?
- 30:10Speaker 18: It's in Chattanooga, Tennessee, so they live in Nashville. So
- 30:14Speaker 18: it's sort of a destination. That's great, not huge, not
- 30:20Speaker 18: not huge.
- 30:21Speaker 2: No, it doesn't matter when do you arrive a night
- 30:24Speaker 2: before or two nights before the actual wedding.
- 30:27Speaker 10: We're gonna get there Thursday, in the wedding Saturday.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Done.
- 30:31Speaker 3: This is great?
- 30:32Speaker 2: What about.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Page out of my book?
- 30:35Speaker 2: So I married Tanya and Robbie, and it was a
- 30:39Speaker 2: destination wedding, and so I got down there early so
- 30:43Speaker 2: that I could spend time with everybody's family. Tanya's family too,
- 30:47Speaker 2: but a lot of Robbie's family, because I didn't know
- 30:49Speaker 2: them very well. And there were aunts and uncles and
- 30:53Speaker 2: moms and dads and what's that guy's name is in
- 30:56Speaker 2: the hot tub with me?
- 30:57Speaker 1: Uncle Cookie?
- 30:58Speaker 2: Uncle Cookie, this guy who's a player, just like all
- 31:02Speaker 2: kinds of different personalities. So what I did, honestly, and
- 31:05Speaker 2: I think it's important. You need to go socialize a
- 31:08Speaker 2: little bit with the other party, right, like the people
- 31:13Speaker 2: you don't know as well, and get to note sort
- 31:15Speaker 2: of their family dynamic, and you'll come up with some
- 31:17Speaker 2: great funny stories because everybody is at the wedding doing
- 31:21Speaker 2: fun stuff, and you'll use those anecdotes, jot them down,
- 31:24Speaker 2: those anecdotes when you get to the what do you
- 31:28Speaker 2: call it?
- 31:28Speaker 3: The ceremony? So what I did.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Performance, So what I did was I got there early,
- 31:36Speaker 2: and I made a deliberate effort to spend time with uh,
- 31:41Speaker 2: Robbie's best friends, the groomsman, and Robbie's family, whom I
- 31:47Speaker 2: love anyway, you know, like I ran into them at
- 31:50Speaker 2: the gym a cold plunge. I just I focused one
- 31:53Speaker 2: day on trying to like understand their story, and I
- 31:56Speaker 2: would write notes down, jotted my notes down. So I
- 32:00Speaker 2: got that down. Now it was how many.
- 32:02Speaker 3: Nights was I there?
- 32:03Speaker 2: Two or three?
- 32:03Speaker 1: Two?
- 32:04Speaker 2: Okay?
- 32:04Speaker 3: So I did that the night before.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Then on the day of the wedding, I locked myself
- 32:10Speaker 2: in my room. I did not socialize. I didn't see
- 32:12Speaker 2: any people. I went to the gym for a minute.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Then I wrote up my sort of speech at my
- 32:19Speaker 2: little talking points about you know, Tanya and Robbie and
- 32:22Speaker 2: their story and their history and their background. And then
- 32:24Speaker 2: I incorporated some funny little stories from Uncle Kokie in
- 32:27Speaker 2: the audience, who was in the cold plunge with me
- 32:30Speaker 2: and he was cold trust me. And and then you
- 32:35Speaker 2: know the way that their family interested. So I did
- 32:37Speaker 2: all of that, but I wrote it down in my
- 32:40Speaker 2: room hours. I really practiced really fresh. Yeah it was fresh,
- 32:45Speaker 2: but I studied it. I practiced it, I memorized it
- 32:48Speaker 2: to the best I could, and then I locked my
- 32:50Speaker 2: notes in the safe when I went to the gym
- 32:52Speaker 2: in case somebody came in took them.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Not so cute, that's honestly so.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Because your wedding planner like key to my room every
- 33:00Speaker 2: now and then I walk in. She's be like on
- 33:02Speaker 2: the terrace on a phone call.
- 33:04Speaker 1: You have eyes on you at all time. You're a
- 33:06Speaker 1: big player in the ceremony.
- 33:08Speaker 3: So I recommend spending time with you.
- 33:11Speaker 18: Take me nervous to wait till the.
- 33:13Speaker 10: Last minute, so they'll be the best.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Stuff is going to come last minute because they're going
- 33:18Speaker 2: to be fresh stories.
- 33:18Speaker 9: I think you have something already ready to go, and
- 33:20Speaker 9: then you can add in all this extra stuff.
- 33:22Speaker 3: Yeah, spend time with the people.
- 33:25Speaker 2: You'll get stories and it'll be great Erica coefficient.
- 33:29Speaker 18: You well done, Thank you so much, very very good advice.
- 33:35Speaker 10: Great, I'm happy, all right, will be ready to go.
- 33:39Speaker 10: Thanks Ryan, you got it all right.
- 33:42Speaker 3: Let's talk about Instagram. You know, I don't.
- 33:46Speaker 2: I don't mean negative, but I will say I hope
- 33:50Speaker 2: soon there's a renaissance. There's a backlash of the constant
- 33:55Speaker 2: need to take a photo and post it up, taking
- 33:59Speaker 2: yourself out of the moment. I know, right, I really
- 34:05Speaker 2: what gets under my skin very few things. Tardiness, m
- 34:11Speaker 2: right up under the epidermis.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Yeah, that really gets to grind your gears.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Yelling calm down, have a conversation. Yeah, not looking at
- 34:22Speaker 2: when you're in a dispute or you're in a debate,
- 34:26Speaker 2: not looking at the other person's point of view clearly,
- 34:31Speaker 2: so you can understand why they feel that way. And
- 34:33Speaker 2: these are things are important. The other thing, Instagram and
- 34:37Speaker 2: social media, we need to back off. I don't want
- 34:41Speaker 2: so many features, you know, I want what is this now?
- 34:45Speaker 9: Like do you remember Instagram back in the day, it
- 34:46Speaker 9: was just like you just posted pictures of whatever you
- 34:48Speaker 9: thought ye was great, and you know, and then there's
- 34:51Speaker 9: like the likes and the comments in this, and then
- 34:53Speaker 9: then the stories got added, and I know, and now
- 34:55Speaker 9: they're adding what are those little like things that that
- 34:58Speaker 9: the pictures that poke through the side?
- 34:59Speaker 1: Now were those called?
- 35:00Speaker 2: Gotcha?
- 35:02Speaker 10: You know?
- 35:02Speaker 1: It's like we didn't ask for that.
- 35:04Speaker 2: But anytime you change the aesthetic of the screen, it
- 35:06Speaker 2: screws me up.
- 35:07Speaker 9: I know, well, this is going to be another extra
- 35:10Speaker 9: feature on the app, but this one costs money. So
- 35:14Speaker 9: three dollars nine to nine cents a month for this subscription.
- 35:17Speaker 9: It's called Instagram Plus. They're saying the biggest perks are,
- 35:20Speaker 9: like what we were just talking about your stories, So
- 35:22Speaker 9: you'd be able to keep your stories up for forty
- 35:24Speaker 9: eight hours instead of twenty four.
- 35:26Speaker 1: But is that a perk? Like I thought's the great
- 35:28Speaker 1: thing about stories is that.
- 35:29Speaker 9: They just got to go away, But now they're stay
- 35:31Speaker 9: there for two days.
- 35:33Speaker 1: I don't know that we need it.
- 35:34Speaker 16: Maybe they're thinking for like like sales things from people.
- 35:39Speaker 9: Sure, okay, I guess if you're doing like a brand deal,
- 35:42Speaker 9: it's more enticing to the brand to keep it up
- 35:45Speaker 9: for forty eight hours versus twenty four. They will have
- 35:49Speaker 9: you'll be able to create custom audience lists. And then
- 35:52Speaker 9: this is actually kind of crazy, so you'll be able
- 35:55Speaker 9: to see how many people rewatched your story, who get
- 36:01Speaker 9: over your gee?
- 36:03Speaker 2: Tonya perked up for that? Now crazy?
- 36:07Speaker 9: It's all toxic, and you'll even be able to peek
- 36:09Speaker 9: at someone's story secretly without showing up as a viewer.
- 36:14Speaker 3: Like that for four hours for.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Four dollars a month. That's pretty good that I would do.
- 36:19Speaker 3: Two point seven Kiss FM.

- 37:44Speaker 2: a treck? My uh, it hurts between my legs even
- 37:50Speaker 2: with that padded little Titi thing. What do you do

- 37:58Speaker 14: You know what you gotta do before that? Get you
- 38:01Speaker 14: some They sell shorts that has a padding in them.
- 38:04Speaker 14: I know I can wear under Oh you have the
- 38:06Speaker 14: shorts with the padding in him?
- 38:07Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 38:09Speaker 2: Still run.
- 38:12Speaker 9: Is also fat?
- 38:13Speaker 3: Not so much? Is that the key? Do I need that?
- 38:16Speaker 14: Yeah? You need a pattage seat. You need a seat
- 38:19Speaker 14: that has like a groove. That'll have a groove right
- 38:21Speaker 14: in the middle of the seat.
- 38:23Speaker 3: Oh well, I love it.
- 38:24Speaker 2: I mean it's good for you, longevity, hell, fitness, wellness, cardio,
- 38:28Speaker 2: and most importantly, we got your free gas this morning.
- 38:32Speaker 3: Thank you so much for listening to us.
- 38:35Speaker 14: Hey, thank you. I've been listening to you guys ever
- 38:37Speaker 14: since I was a kid, when I was in high school.
- 38:39Speaker 14: With Rick D's and those guys.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Yeah, Rick d Rick in the morning.
- 38:45Speaker 10: That's right.
- 38:46Speaker 2: What was your favorite Let me what was your favorite thing?
- 38:51Speaker 2: Because I listened to Rick Dy's too as a kid
- 38:54Speaker 2: growing up. What was your favorite thing he did?
- 38:58Speaker 17: Oh?
- 38:58Speaker 14: Man, he did all kinds of thing.
- 39:00Speaker 10: Liked it.
- 39:02Speaker 14: He I don't remember specifically. We're talking like like twenty
- 39:05Speaker 14: something years thirty years ago.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, but this will be exactly how people
- 39:09Speaker 2: will react to me after I leave. I don't know
- 39:12Speaker 2: what he did, but guy was there every day.
- 39:15Speaker 14: He was there every day, and he made me laugh
- 39:17Speaker 14: and he played great music.
- 39:18Speaker 2: There you go, Rick These in the morning. Yeah, kiss
- 39:23Speaker 2: and thank.
- 39:24Speaker 1: You my brother, Hey, thank you man.
- 39:26Speaker 14: And these guys are great chewing Anthony, appreciate you got it.
- 39:31Speaker 14: Thank you.
- 39:32Speaker 2: Isn't it true? We do all the this is what
- 39:35Speaker 2: life is like. You'll do all the things, whatever they are.
- 39:37Speaker 2: And at the end of the day, people just remember
- 39:40Speaker 2: how you made them feel.
- 39:42Speaker 1: That's true.
- 39:44Speaker 2: And do you feel good?
- 39:45Speaker 3: Do you feel like see right?
- 39:49Speaker 1: Memory of that feeling?
- 39:51Speaker 2: Just the feeling is what you want. Right on air
- 39:57Speaker 2: with Ryan Seacrest, fates over Ophelia Taylor Swift on Kiss FM. Yeah,
- 40:05Speaker 2: toy story five and she's got that song in there.
- 40:07Speaker 2: It's pretty exciting, very cool the way that rolled out.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Let's see Enie Meanie miney MoMA Leah.
- 40:14Speaker 3: Okay, let's go to you.
- 40:16Speaker 5: What's good?
- 40:17Speaker 2: Newest intern Sophia leaves us in a day. This is
- 40:20Speaker 2: gonna be I don't know what I'm going to feel.
- 40:24Speaker 2: I don't know how we're going to deal with it.
- 40:26Speaker 2: But she's calm, she's done her internship. She's off to Florence,
- 40:29Speaker 2: and that's it. That's it, right, But you have to
- 40:33Speaker 2: keep us posted. You have to call in from Florence.
- 40:35Speaker 2: You know.
- 40:36Speaker 1: I will weekly update.
- 40:38Speaker 2: Yes, here, see get Marcello to like U borrow his
- 40:41Speaker 2: cell phone. Okay, Now, Malia, you want to talk about
- 40:46Speaker 2: a bad date?
- 40:47Speaker 5: Yes, okay.
- 40:49Speaker 7: So I work at an ice cream shop, as you
- 40:51Speaker 7: guys all know, yes we do. I'm nice, not overly nice,
- 40:55Speaker 7: but I've given this guy ice cream for free once.
- 40:58Speaker 7: We just had like a really good talk, like over
- 41:01Speaker 7: the line. He was like not too busy, he talked well,
- 41:03Speaker 7: loved it, and then he asked me out on a
- 41:05Speaker 7: date and I just immediately just red flags all over
- 41:12Speaker 7: the place and it was kind of disappointing. But one
- 41:15Speaker 7: of the biggest ones is let me know what you think.
- 41:17Speaker 7: But he was bragging about sleeping behind the wheel, like
- 41:21Speaker 7: when his car was on autopilot.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Okay, what do you think about that?
- 41:28Speaker 7: That's just the craziest most that's reckless. I wish he
- 41:33Speaker 7: was conscious behind the wheel. But just like this is
- 41:35Speaker 7: something he would like regularly do.
- 41:38Speaker 16: There are people who drive without even drivers in the car.
- 41:41Speaker 1: Was it true, no driver in sleeping?
- 41:43Speaker 7: We do have, we do have the way most I
- 41:45Speaker 7: understand that, but it was like it was like ritualistic
- 41:48Speaker 7: for him.
- 41:49Speaker 5: I just I don't know. I can't get behind that.
- 41:51Speaker 7: So I kind of just first date was it was okay,
- 41:55Speaker 7: it was good, but this thing just like it had
- 41:59Speaker 7: me up at nay.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't all right, let me go back.
- 42:02Speaker 2: First of all, it's like the more and more women
- 42:06Speaker 2: I speak to tell me that they just every time
- 42:08Speaker 2: they go out.
- 42:08Speaker 3: They just get hit on.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Are guys that pursuant that they just hit all of
- 42:15Speaker 2: the time? Right, Like you know, you do one nice
- 42:17Speaker 2: gesture so you get free ice cream. He thinks that's
- 42:21Speaker 2: a flirt. He thought that it was a flirt, right,
- 42:24Speaker 2: But why can't it be a kind just just generous act.
- 42:28Speaker 2: That's the problem, right, Yeah, so you gave the free
- 42:31Speaker 2: ice cream. He misread the situation. Now here's the biggest
- 42:36Speaker 2: red flag. Anybody that brags about anything is a major
- 42:45Speaker 2: major turnoff. If a guy, in this case, I mean
- 42:51Speaker 2: bragging about sleeping, that's that's weird. But if a guy
- 42:55Speaker 2: has to tell you about all of his accomplishments, his things,
- 43:00Speaker 2: his job, his car, whatever, this is a giant red flag. Yeah.
- 43:07Speaker 13: That.
- 43:08Speaker 1: But here's the thing.
- 43:09Speaker 7: Some guys go into dates thinking that that's them putting
- 43:13Speaker 7: their best foot forward, like naming all of their accomplishments.
- 43:15Speaker 3: Ever, it's not.
- 43:18Speaker 2: I will tell you this. I actually don't talk about
- 43:22Speaker 2: me on a first date. I ask a lot of questions.
- 43:26Speaker 2: I really don't talk about me.
- 43:29Speaker 3: I don't.
- 43:29Speaker 2: I mean if they ask, like where you're from. But
- 43:31Speaker 2: I never ever ever speak about my work. I never
- 43:34Speaker 2: ever ever speak about any thing like that.
- 43:38Speaker 1: To be fair, yours is pretty public.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Fine, But I also don't say, oh, you know what
- 43:45Speaker 2: what I did today?
- 43:47Speaker 8: Right?
- 43:48Speaker 3: I did this, that and the other night.
- 43:49Speaker 2: I love it so much, And then you know I'm
- 43:51Speaker 2: going I have to fly to the I Radio Music
- 43:53Speaker 2: Festival because I'm the host. It is gag. I don't.
- 44:00Speaker 2: It is such a gag, and I think a lot
- 44:01Speaker 2: of guys make that mistake.
- 44:04Speaker 7: Yeah, it's just like eg like eck all over the
- 44:07Speaker 7: pitches for me alone.
- 44:08Speaker 5: Boy?
- 44:09Speaker 2: How about the problem is you don't want to not
- 44:12Speaker 2: do nice gestures like give the ice cream, but you
- 44:14Speaker 2: almost kind of can't be too nice if they're gonna
- 44:18Speaker 2: just think it's always a hit. So become cold and
- 44:23Speaker 2: rigid and stay behind that counter. Good luck. Thanks. How
- 44:28Speaker 2: long you've been at this ice cream shop?
- 44:30Speaker 7: I've been there officially for a year.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Okay, maybe you'll meet your guy there.
- 44:35Speaker 3: Who knows?
- 44:35Speaker 1: Should I be a barista next?
- 44:37Speaker 2: Oh that'd be great for us because we like fantastic Yeah,
- 44:42Speaker 2: all right, coming up, taking a break. I think it
- 44:45Speaker 2: is a note. It's his Tania. Guys do not talk
- 44:49Speaker 2: about yourself on a first date. Ask questions. Yes, listen,
- 44:55Speaker 2: they don't care and it sounds not good and it's
- 44:59Speaker 2: a bit desperate. I had to learn this. Yeah, tomorrow
- 45:03Speaker 2: is your last day here as an intern on one
- 45:06Speaker 2: or two point seven Kiss FM. We have prepared a
- 45:10Speaker 2: lot of parady things for you, so we'll be broadcasting
- 45:15Speaker 2: down in Santa Monica. Closing the streets and is that right,
- 45:21Speaker 2: mark ors that we decide not it's still in the work.
- 45:23Speaker 3: We're not sure works.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Yeah, but well, you know, have some fun memories of
- 45:28Speaker 2: the things that we have learned along the way with you,
- 45:30Speaker 2: and we wish you the best as you go off
- 45:31Speaker 2: to Florence with a boyfriend. Back home skeletor who am
- 45:35Speaker 2: I going to check in with regularly? And yeah, but
- 45:40Speaker 2: so first thing tomorrow morning, are back at it. We
- 45:42Speaker 2: will see you then at six o'clock in the morning,
- 45:44Speaker 2: go live life, come back see you then it's kiss,
- 45:48Speaker 2: take your care. Thanks for listening so on air with
- 45:51Speaker 2: Ryan Seacrest, make sure to subscribe, and we'll talk to
- 45:54Speaker 2: you again tomorrow
