Not everything deserves a reaction.
Every comment doesn’t need a comeback.
Every disagreement doesn’t need a debate.
Every accusation doesn’t need a defense.
And every person who tries to pull you out of character doesn’t deserve to meet that version of you.
Sometimes we confuse responding with standing up for ourselves.
We think if we stay quiet, they won.
If we don’t correct them, they’ll think they were right.
If we walk away, it means we were weak.
But sometimes…
walking away isn’t weakness. Sometimes it’s discipline.
Anybody can react.
Anybody can say something when they’re angry…
