  - Hello, this is your PCJ pop, I'm Olivia.
• 0:10
  - And I'm Shauna.
• 0:11
  - So Shauna, what are we recommending to our listeners
• 0:15
  to pop this time?
• 0:17
  - So I mentioned on our latest full episode
• 0:20
that I was recently in a classic horror movie binge.
• 0:24
So I'm gonna pop one of the films
• 0:25
that I watched called The Omen.
• 0:28
So The Omen came out in 1976.
• 0:31
  - Oh man.
• 0:32
  - You've never seen that one either?
• 0:33
  - No, I've never seen The Omen, man.
• 0:36
I want to be a better connoisseur of horror.
• 0:39
So I am just bustin' these bad boys out.
• 0:42
  - Who needs a Christmas movie?
• 0:43
You got shit to catch up on.
• 0:45
  - I really do.
• 0:46
I need to watch if nothing but horror movies
• 0:47
  all the way through Thanksgiving.
• 0:49
There's no good Thanksgiving movies anyway.
• 0:51
  All right, I digress.
• 0:52
So The Omen stars Gregory Peck and Harvey Stevens
• 0:57
and Lee Rimmick as a family.
• 1:00
  Well, they're a merry couple
• 1:01
  who delivers a stillborn baby.
• 1:04
And knowing that his wife would be very distraught,
• 1:08
  the dad does something ridiculous
• 1:10
and just kind of like adopts another baby from the hospital
• 1:14
or at this Catholic hospital from this priest
• 1:16
who's like, look, this baby's mom died delivering it.
• 1:19
You should take it and not tell your wife
• 1:21
and pretend like it's your son.
• 1:22
And he's like, "Buy Goli, all right."
• 1:24
  That's exactly what I'll do.
• 1:25
  - And Antex and Sue.
• 1:27
  - Oh, you should do with us.
• 1:29
So Antex and Sue and the kid turns out to
• 1:34
  maybe be the Antichrist.
• 1:36
  Maybe, maybe.
• 1:38
  The movie's got the Omen.
• 1:39
  - I'm auctioning though.
• 1:40
  - So some weird shit goes down.
• 1:42
  So that is that famous.
• 1:44
It's all for you, David and Lime.
• 1:47
Damien is very creepy in this movie.
• 1:49
  It's all very well acted.
• 1:51
It came out in 1976, but I was not bored
• 1:54
for one second in this movie.
• 1:56
I watched it on Amazon Prime
• 1:58
and I am definitely going to pop it.
• 2:00
  - Oh, I lost my virginity to someone named Damien.
• 2:05
  (laughing)
• 2:06
  Did you scream?
• 2:07
And this is all for you, Damien.
• 2:10
  - No, but my dad, when I was like,
• 2:14
"Oh, I'm dating this guy named Damien."
• 2:17
  And he was like, "What?"
• 2:19
Because, you know, he was around in that time.
• 2:23
  So yeah, I...
• 2:25
  - So, Livia slept with the Antichrist.
• 2:27
  - I slept with the Antichrist.
• 2:29
  He grew up not bad.
• 2:31
  - I'm honestly.
• 2:33
  (laughing)
• 2:35
  - So I watched that when I started dating that guy
• 2:38
because my dad immediately was like,
• 2:40
  "You need to watch this."
• 2:42
  - No, who you're dating.
• 2:43
  - Shout out to Damien, the Antichrist
• 2:46
  and Livia's ex-boyfriend.
• 2:47
  Both.
• 2:48
  - Yeah.
• 2:49
  And V-card taker.
• 2:50
  So, you know, all around,
• 2:53
  all around title holder.
• 2:54
  (laughing)
• 2:56
  - Oh my God.
• 2:58
  - So, I actually hadn't seen this movie.
• 3:02
I was around when it came out,
• 3:05
but I'm gonna actually pop Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter.
• 3:09
  - Oh my God.
• 3:11
  Have you ever seen it?
• 3:12
  - No, because I heard it didn't get very good reviews,
• 3:14
  but you go off, girl.
• 3:15
  - Yeah.
• 3:16
  - Okay, I will say I did watch this.
• 3:19
  A wee bit hungover.
• 3:21
  - It's like where you bought it.
• 3:22
  - So, I was, yeah, I was, but I was mainly hungover,
• 3:27
but it is produced by Tim Burton as well.
• 3:30
  - Oh, yeah.
• 3:31
  - So, you know, it's got that kind of like dark feel.
• 3:34
  - I'm in.
• 3:35
  - It's got Abraham Lincoln and vampires in it,
• 3:39
  and he's hunting them.
• 3:41
So it is kind of like a Van Helsing style movie
• 3:46
with historical Abraham Lincoln in it.
• 3:49
  - It's fucking weird, but it is good.
• 3:51
  - It's hot.
• 3:52
  - Oh yeah, Abraham Lincoln's hot in this.
• 3:55
  - Yeah.
• 3:56
  - So you're not looking at a historical description of it?
• 3:58
  - Yeah.
• 3:59
  - And he's ripped.
• 4:01
So we have Benjamin Walker, Dominic Cooper, Anthony Mackie,
• 4:04
in it, we have Marial Elizabeth Winstead
• 4:07
and I love Mary Todd Lincoln.
• 4:09
And overall just, you know, a silly goofy time,
• 4:12
we had Jimmy Simpson in it as well.
• 4:14
So it is just a silly goofy one, pop it on.
• 4:18
  - Pop it on.
• 4:18
  - And if you liked Van Helsing,
• 4:20
you'd probably like this dial cinematography.
• 4:24
  - Pop it on drunk and hungover and high.
• 4:26
  - You don't have to be, but you know,
• 4:30
no that was the mindset I was in.
• 4:32
  (laughing)
• 4:33
So you can see that on HBO and where did you watch that?
• 4:37
  - You can watch the Omen on Amazon Prime.
• 4:40
  - Love it.
• 4:41
So we're popping the Omen and Abraham Lincoln
• 4:44
the Vampire Hunter this week and that's your PCJ Pop.
• 4:47
