- 3:27stating, we were all kind of stuck. Christian
- 3:31Crawford, Hull's Director of Climate Adaptation
- 3:34and Conservation, emphasized the existential
- 3:37threat faced by residents as 66 % of the town
- 3:41lies in the floodplain. State officials are now
- 3:45exploring a broader pilot program for home buyouts,
- 3:48with Governor Maura Healey focusing on adaptation
- 3:51efforts for coastal communities. Now on to sports.

- 6:21slowing, but Japanese investors and builders
- 6:24are moving in anyway, and Sumo owns 6 % of the
- 6:27business in America. For more than a decade,
- 6:30Japanese home builders have been tiptoeing into
- 6:33the U .S. housing market with small, discreet
- 6:36acquisitions of private American construction
- 6:38companies. Their quiet era is over. Since 2020,
- 6:44Japanese builders have announced or closed acquisitions
- 6:47of 23 U .S. single -family home builders, more
- 6:50than double the number from 2013 to 2019. Japanese
- 6:57companies are accelerating their U .S. presence
- 6:59at a moment when the American home construction
- 7:02market is slowing down. In crypto movement, Bitcoin
- 7:07is up 2 % to about $68 ,000. Ethereum is up 3
- 7:13% to $2 ,000. And XRP is unchanged at $1 .32.
