- 2:32I'm on it. I've been in it. I've been blessed, I've
- 2:36been baptized, you know it, you know it. I still can't get
- 2:43over that music floor. Oh my god. Yeah, yeah, y'all just
- 2:46don't as a as a you know, black music head. It was just
- 2:51it was I mean talking about speaking my language like it was just it was
- 2:55everything. And you know, shout out to my book Hendreds, which drops
- 2:59and that July from Type Publishing. Pre order it now, because one of
- 3:02the central themes that I'm not going to give away is so related to that
- 3:07floor of music. And it was just like, hmm, this is so
- 3:13beautiful. M m so. So yeah, shout out to Leslie, Shout
- 3:16out to the n M a h C where we did that panel. You
- 3:20can hear all about it right now. You can also peep the whole panel
- 3:24on YouTube. We're gonna have to do a you know, we talk about
- 3:28these other few episodes that we're gonna be dropping, so and we definitely gonna
- 3:31have to do one on that because you know, we got to repost review
- 3:35us talking at the on the panel. The panel, yes, you know,
- 3:38we go to talk about experience, the feeling, how it was backstage,
- 3:44and all the inside information that people don't know about, you know what
- 3:46I mean. Okay, with it. Yeah, and we're also gonna be
- 3:51doing that, you know if you didn't. You know, just people were
- 3:53saying right now, we're gonna be bringing back some old episodes because this is
- 3:55our tenth anniversary year. We have been doing this for ten years, and
- 4:00some of y'all are new to this, you know. Like I was talking
- 4:02to people, somebody hit me up like yo, because they saw my picture
- 4:05with Tana Hosy coach, shout out to my brother, shout out to Hu,
- 4:09you know, and they were like, yo, when you're gonna have
- 4:12Tannaha see on the show. That's your boy. And I'm like, Negro,
- 4:15please, We've already had them on the show twice. Dose you know
- 4:18what I mean, So you gotta go back. But some people don't know
- 4:21that because some people just started listening. It's a lot to scroll through ten
- 4:26years of episodes, so they might not know that we've had Tanaazzi on the
- 4:30show twice, that we've had djil Older on the show full times, just
- 4:33Blaze of Faux five, you know, Mad Times, Young Girl Guru a
- 4:39billion times, DMC of Run DMC, I mean, don Will Jean Gray.
- 4:46I don't know a lot of people have been on this motherfucking shit,
- 4:48you know what I mean, Like a lot of people, I don't even
- 4:49remember it these days, you know, it's been ten years. Didn't even
- 4:54know we had DMC on the show. No, Like he said that and
- 4:57I'm like what, and I googled it and it popped up. I'm like,
- 5:00yet, that wasn't I think you were. I think you just weren't
- 5:02there that night, you know, But I don't know because I know the
- 5:08room reported. But I'm pretty sure Jamie was there because I remember Jamie,
- 5:14I know was there for me. No Ji, no Jamie, and you
- 5:17came on the exact same episode day, same day, both of y'all,
- 5:21you know, because I put out the call and both of y'all came through
- 5:25for the same episode. Because I'll never forget that that was you know,
- 5:28that was a moment. I know how that went, Like both we all
- 5:30came through and me and Chico both sitting there like, wow, we got
- 5:33two fucking champions joining us now, like here, I mean, look,
- 5:41that was my goal, Like ship, I was like, this is not
- 5:44popping y'all negro itis up in here. That's funny, funny, that's right,
- 5:50and the inflammation of Negroes. That's what it is, abstutely stand for
- 5:56information. Yes, so it was Negro artists and we had to cure that,
- 6:01you know what I mean. And now we have a first cast and
- 6:04crew of the four All Nerds show as it should be. You know,
- 6:09we are inclusion is revolution. So you know, we got to bring back
- 6:12some of that to show people our history, you know what I mean,
- 6:15because I'm with it, with it a lot. I'm with it. Are
- 6:18we we're time jumping now? Yeah? Man, you know time jumping time
- 6:23people slipping slipping into the huge How on the nose would have been if they
- 6:30played that song? I mean it would have been about right for everything else
- 6:34all every other musical drop has been on the notes. Yeah, what are
- 6:40we talking about? I guess we're gonna get right into it. Yeah,
- 6:43when I could talk about Marvel's whole you know, well, I think it
- 6:46needs right into it. I think I think understanding where we are with Loki
- 6:49will lead right into this big conversation with Marble. True indeed, and all
- 6:55right, First of all, people on YouTube, somebody came to me.
- 6:58I mean people coming to me all the time. I'm used to it,
- 7:00you know, but someone said that I wanted answers, and I don't.
- 7:05Like I don't. I also feel like a lot of people listen to me,
- 7:09like I've told just million times out down, like people listen to me
- 7:12on this show. They hear one thing that I say and they're like,
- 7:15let me know about that one thing he said, And it's like, bro,
- 7:19that's like ninety percent of everything else I said was not that. And
- 7:24if you thought I wanted answers like I want to know what the future is
- 7:28or you know what the king, I don't give a shit. I think
- 7:31people who are focused on that that's one of the biggest problems. And I've
- 7:34said that multiple times on this show. I want each self contained story to
- 7:40be a self contained, worthwhile story. I have not been convinced that anything
- 7:46is really happening Loki, especially as far as like character growth. But you
- 7:51can't really call that a self contained story. It's supposed to connect to everything.
- 7:56But but hold on, hold on, Okay. This is also related
- 8:00to the overall Marvel conversation we're going to have. But the idea that the
- 8:03original Marvel or I don't want to say Marvel idea, but the original corporate
- 8:07idea that there will never not be some Marvel something happening at any one time.
- 8:13Right, they said there's no movie, there's gonna be a TV show.
- 8:16They no TV show is gonna be a special, they gonna be a
- 8:18movie. Remember that. Remember that. So as far as throwing any fucking
- 8:22thing at the wall and making sure that just Marvel's name stay in the room,
- 8:26even if good or bad, I think that, And and this is
- 8:31all supposed to connect, right, technically, all is supposed to connect the
- 8:33shows to the film, to all this other stuff. So self contained in
- 8:39the manner of that's about that character, sure, but not really self contained
- 8:43within the manner of the entire universe of the the MCU. But I think
- 8:48that all right, I think Marvel has learned one that they don't just because
- 8:54it's in the MCU doesn't mean it has to like immediately relate, right like
- 9:01obvious, Yeah, or even or even like have a chance really like like
- 9:05there's okay, there's ways that they're gonna make Werewolf by Night relate in the
- 9:09long run if they want. The way I loved it, see that's what
- 9:15I'm saying. Okay, I loved it, but it was like different strokes
- 9:16for differ folks, and I think that's yeah, that's why I love Werewolf
- 9:18by Night because it took chances and it was different strokes for different folks,
- 9:22and it really unless they wanted to later on, it doesn't matter. None
- 9:26of the characters have to show up in the Avengers, sure, you know,
- 9:28but they're not flagship Markey characters either. But okay, see here's another
- 9:33one. And this throws into that Marvel conversation later when they were talking about
- 9:35bringing back Tony Stark and shit, I'm like, nigga, what y'all had,
- 9:39Like Tony Stark was motherfucking marquee. Like at first to all y'all mcu
- 9:45heads, he is, because of course you know, Junior, but for
- 9:48anyone who was before that, this nigga was sea level like he's part of
- 9:52the Avengers. Sure, but iron Man is not the premier coma book,
- 9:58like the premier seller of Marvel common. It's has always been the X Men,
- 10:01you know. And then and yeah, then I think Avengers, you
- 10:09know, it's like literally were they gonna have to lean on now? X
- 10:11Men is like, if you believe in all of doom and gloom talk,
- 10:15X Men is now the only hope right now. And I don't believe that
- 10:16at all. I don't believe that talk at all. That it's silly talk
- 10:20to me, because it's like they had Iron Man and made a superstar out
- 10:22of him. They had Thor and made a Thor. When you talk about
- 10:26like sea level fucking characters like that, Man's book was struggle unless Walt Simmonson
- 10:31was on it, Like it was a struggle for years. So and then
- 10:33you know, after the MCU, it's all kind of hot dope shit came
- 10:37up. But I'm talking like before that, it was struggle. You know,
- 10:41his book wasn't popping. Captain America's book wasn't popping like that. None
- 10:43of these characters books were popping. X Men was popping, but Marvel couldn't
- 10:48use x Men, they couldn't use Spider Man. So thats they started the
- 10:50MCU with these characters they did not want to start with, so they could
- 10:54take if what they need is a good story, what they needed good writers.
- 11:00That's why you know they pay people. Finally, now maybe we might
- 11:03see the effect because now they can get some talent in there who's gonna want
- 11:07to really work and really get paid for it. So hopefully, you know,
- 11:11the writing is going to get to where it needs to go, and
- 11:13hopefully to slow down will make them like. That's my issue with Loki.
- 11:18It's not about answers. My issue with Loki is I feel like fay here
- 11:22or someone said, all right, this is what we need from you.
- 11:24We need at the end of this, we need the canes to pop up
- 11:28beyond that. It's on you, bro, it's on you. But it's
- 11:33like, not only is it just on you, it's also we don't need
- 11:37too much else to happen. But I also feel like I have to blame
- 11:43the people behind Loki because I feel like they probably told the same thing to
- 11:48Kate Herron, and I feel like she did more with that, you know,
- 11:50and I feel like certain people have done more with like the holding pattern
- 11:56of these shows. You know, yeah, because you can still tell a
- 11:58dope where you can still characters, yes, that makes you care and may
- 12:03and want to see their journey. And in the second season of Loki,
- 12:05I've not seen that. I've seen these characters that restarted episode after episode,
- 12:09right like literal reboots of their comic book kind of parts, just you know,
- 12:15on account of like you could die in the comic you come back the
- 12:18next the next is literally I saw that happen over and over and over again,
- 12:20and it's like it's lost. It's it's lost its shine. I don't
- 12:26Yeah, I mean you can't keep Yeah, like now you're doing the infinity
- 12:31fade. Just what that's what Linguini he like, all right, you know
- 12:35that it's disturbing. I will say that it's not my favorite thing to look
- 12:37at, but no, you know, it is like it makes me feel
- 12:41be fifty whatever. Be fifteen scream was pretty horrifye. I don't, yeah,
- 12:46but like I don't know, Like I want to just just real quick
- 12:50just mention that about season one of Loki, because I will say that fulfilled
- 12:54that idea of like it's almost being the show's being a holding pattern to need
- 13:01to keep you satiated until the next film, right, but you can still
- 13:05have a compelling story. And when you look at season one on its own,
- 13:09that was an incredibly compelling story that if you took it out the time,
- 13:13I wouldn't necessarily disturb movies around it, right or the next movie is
- 13:16coming out, right, like I think, And I'm not saying take it
- 13:20out in a negative way. I'm just saying that it was able to and
- 13:22what you were talking about earlier tell its own story and its own contained space
- 13:28and also still fulfill both ends of the bargain, right like next Yeah,
- 13:35and it also I think I I'm wondering we I mean, like I love
- 13:41Kate and everything, and I love you know, the season one, but
- 13:43I'm like, were we fooled there too? Like because I fooled in one
- 13:48way? Like because what you lied about and what were you fooled about?
- 13:54You want to cancel with me again? Okay, like what are you doing?
- 13:58And you want to be fooled by a storyteller? But like the like
- 14:00the problem with Loki. One of the problem is like one thing that has
- 14:03doing with it in season two is like even to me, in season two,
- 14:07it's every episode has been highly entertaining because Tom Hitdleson and the rest of
- 14:11the cast are fucking amazing, and the little bit they give Shorty who's playing
- 14:18Sylvie this season, she eats it alive and it makes me like miss her
- 14:22and care for But it's like, at the same time, every episode has
- 14:26been a reboot. Reboot. Okay, you know everybody died at the end
- 14:30of the last episode, everybody dies. At the end of this episode,
- 14:33they're all back together again finally. I think the show is a very literal
- 14:39manifestation of the idea of time folding in on itself or the of the Mobius
- 14:45strip of the or Burroughs, like, all of it is like super on
- 14:48the nose. The whole thing is a conundrum and parallel and uh, what's
- 14:54the other? Yeah, paradox paradox. Thank you, Like like I get
- 15:01it. I kind of got it the first time round, and then like
- 15:05now in episode four, like you you like get it. I don't know,
- 15:11like it was entertaining, but I'm just like, damn, what the
- 15:15hell are you going right now? And we but we said this, they
- 15:18said, were said, there's no way all these niggas is gonna die,
- 15:20and I'd be the end of it. Man's literally found a way to control
- 15:24his time slipping to go back to write before I assume right before Victor Timeley
- 15:31runs out the dough with the with the alleged thing to fix the loom.
- 15:35So he's going to run out the door now and somehow not die. Are
- 15:39they gonna change something else? Are they not gonna do that? Whatsoever,
- 15:43Like he said, I write it, and like there's some interesting stuff being
- 15:48played with here, like I'm one of my favorite comic books. Planetary had
- 15:54a whole issue dedicated to it, and a lot of it is about that,
- 15:56and even Stephen King, a lot of writers talk about this medinnis about
- 16:00writing and about you know, is like are we and it's something to me
- 16:03and you were to talk about before the show is like we write our own
- 16:07realities. You know, we create our own story. You know, we
- 16:10tell a story and the story becomes real and that's like, you know,
- 16:15something that storytellers deal with and you know, people who imagine their lives deal
- 16:19with, and just there's some interests of being played with on the edges.
- 16:25Yes, but I don't feel like it's really like when you know, or
- 16:29Boris is dying and he's like it wasn't, it's not a problem, and
- 16:32then you know it wasn't. He realized that he needs to write his own
- 16:34story and be the hero of his own story. I guess right. But
- 16:40then yeah, and then there's like the the like there's like the goofiness of
- 16:44it, like this wasn't this episode. But when Loki and Sylvie are having
- 16:48that conversation, He's like, we gotta hope Sylvie, and like, you
- 16:51know, it's like, we gotta hope the cops get better. You know
- 16:52cause basically that's what he's saying. Because the TVA or a bunch of cops,
- 16:56and he's basically saying, I gotta hope the police get better. It's
- 16:57like that doesn't work fair time, right, you know, like Sylvie's dead
- 17:03ass, right, Like the TVA is not going to work, and you
- 17:07knew that before. It's I don't know everyone's motivations this season. I'm just
- 17:11not understanding expresses motivations. He wants to get back, but he wants to
- 17:17belong and he wants his friends back, but he wants some place to call.
- 17:23So I mean, but what about your brother, my brother one who
- 17:30has a live brother Okay that he sucks with that he cares about. That
- 17:37has anything to do with anything happening in this series. No, I mean
- 17:40no, I mean I get it. So he wants Sylvie and all of
- 17:41them, but like one that Casey, that MOBI is that ain't they?
- 17:47That ain't the right one? This some dude who don't know shit about the
- 17:51TVA. You're gonna take these niggas who ain't like, you're gonna take this
- 17:55thief to try and stop and save the world out, like like, these
- 17:59ain't the dude. So is it going to be Lowki that creates the TVA
- 18:03in the end, It's gonna be pictures of images of him in statues and
- 18:08on the walls and everything else. I mean, but how King Look,
- 18:12I don't know, going back to this whole marvel thing that we're gonna talk
- 18:15about, they say that, you know, people who've seen the final episode
- 18:18are like, yo, they locked into this job of the major ship man,
- 18:21like you know, but also yeah, they say that in the context
- 18:25of the multiverse, like as if the multiverse doesn't exist, as if they
- 18:27have not been using this as a as a you know, just as the
- 18:32what the dance as maca. But what I'm saying, they so far they
- 18:36you know, they're locked in, like change it, Bravona, ain't turning,
- 18:41ain't showing up as King in the last episode of what I'm saying,
- 18:44Sure, sure, regardless of how this goes, it does not necessarily affect
- 18:48everything else that's happening in the MTU right now. Like they've literally sitting there
- 18:52on edge the fucking rewrite the next four years. I'm really thinking that that's
- 18:55where they are right now. I believe it if they need if need be,
- 18:59because you make billions upon billions of dollars, even when your failed quote
- 19:03unquote movie still makes damn near a billion dollars. You can do shit like
- 19:07say, let's rewrite the next fucking face or rearrange thing and maybe not even
- 19:12be right. Maybe they just rearrange things. That's also something that was talked
- 19:15about in that article about all they may flop around. And that's another thing
- 19:21when I kept when I read through, I realized a lot of this articles
- 19:23just hearsay, and it's here say a lot of it is just bs,
- 19:30and it's like, well someone told me my Homegirl said in the Bello No
- 19:33Chase, And it's just like, but nigga, anyone who actually makes the
- 19:37decisions say something, well, I heard Homegirl got fired because it's like a
- 19:41big episode of mean girls. And I'm like, wait a minute, is
- 19:45this one variety article that we're talking about has now spawned? Like I mean,
- 19:49we're talking about it like I know, I mean, everyone has an
- 19:53article and it did what it's supposed to do. It did what it was
- 19:56supposed to do, which was to have the me and everyone in media talking.
- 20:00We need to start doing that. We should start doing that. We
- 20:03should start making up wild ship. This is what we heard, yo yo,
- 20:07when I heard yeah, they're about to bring high evolutionary back word up.
- 20:12Hang out of here, fam. This is why we think is happening,
- 20:15because people are saying the person right, many people are saying the Panini's
- 20:22to the office of the person who does the fucking script delivery told me.
- 20:29Everybody's talking about this. I know, and I and I want to talk
- 20:33about things. I do want to talk about it, but I also want
- 20:36to talk about how weird it is. It's just like everybody's talking about highvolutionary
- 20:41coming back. You haven't heard that, Like everybody's been talking about shut up.
- 20:45Many people are saying, but yeah, man, like I just I
- 20:52guess I just wanted to make that point that none of them like maybe it's
- 20:56one of three things that are a fact that everything else is just like,
- 20:59so I heard, and this is what the streets is saying. And it's
- 21:00like, all right, I'm sure there's some merits, some water being held
- 21:04somewhere, but what about the rest and the timing is odd. I mean,
- 21:10they talked a lot about the whole thing with the Marvels and how they're
- 21:12like, oh, I don't know, like they're basically writing it off before
- 21:15it even happens in the next week or two. And I'm just like,
- 21:21what the fuck is going on, because it's like it's just the way it
- 21:26was just dropped down into the media spear of me, just like negativity spread
- 21:30it. I'm just like, what's going on? Yeah, I mean,
- 21:33even the big one that was really hilarious in that article was when they were
- 21:40talking about how, I mean, are well we can get back to Loki
- 21:42but still talking about it, and an article they were talking about how Blade
- 21:48almost turned you know, female centric and all this. It was just like
- 21:53Marbury, let's drum up the hate, you know, let's this is what
- 21:57I'm saying. This is what I'm saying. I'm gonna third, I'm gonna
- 22:02find this tweet because it doesn't make sense. Okay, So they're talking about
- 22:07yeah again, I'm just I'm just quoting from the article, not from facts.
- 22:12Sawmon told me that at this stage that Blade is the fourth lead in
- 22:17his own movie, and this this and that Michael Starberry, who was one
- 22:22of the fucking writers on it at least at one point, was just like
- 22:26and he was on it in like too late in the game. He was
- 22:30just like, yeah, no point in time was any script that I worked
- 22:33on. Was he ever a fourth lead? Or what they said they tried
- 22:36to say, like it was like feminine feminist focus or some weird they were
- 22:41talking about. I'm like, where do y'all come up with this? Because
- 22:44the Blade does have a daughter now on the common books, and there was
- 22:48he would be introduced yet daughter. What wasley s nice was doing it?
- 22:52What do you mean? Like? What you know what? Because people loved
- 22:59it. It's just like you were saying, like how the Marvels is getting
- 23:03all this like oh, it's got to be trashed, It's going to be
- 23:06failed because there you know. Sadly, to this day there is still that
- 23:10side. Like I saw tweets where people were celebrating all the good stuff that
- 23:14was happening with Marvel but then in the same tweet being like, oh yeah,
- 23:18and the Marvels is crashed into the ground. So it's like they're happy
- 23:22because you know, the male male central ship is getting pushed up and then
- 23:26you know Marvels. But then y'all but then y'all sound stupid, and y'all
- 23:30sound this is your your your pat You're doing the same pattern that's always happening.
- 23:34You're doing the oh gosh, you know, go woke, you know,
- 23:41get broke type ship. You know, it's that dumb ship. I
- 23:45feel like Moby is stripped. I feel like a mob. This is happening
- 23:48again. When did this happen before? It happened for what you hope?
- 23:51When did this happen before? It happened before with the first Miss Marvel?
- 23:53When did this happen before? Like every fucking black Panther and forget? And
- 23:57I mean it's yeah, it's sad and it really is. And it's like
- 24:06I really don't have the energy to give to it. But it's one of
- 24:08those things like to me, like it's like my battle against the word content
- 24:12where I'm like, oh my god, I'm not gonna win this one,
- 24:15or like the your boy causing that, you know, doing a jail stream
- 24:21and I'm just like m M, you know, but it's like, you
- 24:23know, two hundred and fifty k viewers, so it's like, you know,
- 24:26it's not me. It must be the children, you know, like,
- 24:29what the fuck I don't you know, I must be wrong, right,
- 24:37Like you know, as someone who's been to prison, you know,
- 24:41I must be the idiot here. Yeah, like actual prison, you know
- 24:45where we didn't have porn stars in the prison, you know, playing security
- 24:48guards. You know, it's like I didn't. I must be wrong,
- 24:52right. But it feels like sometimes you know, when you're just battling against
- 24:56a sea of ignorance, and the ignorance is making all the money in the
- 24:59world, understanding all the attention in the world. So you know, it's
- 25:03like maybe we should start doing jail streams. I don't know, you know,
- 25:06oh my god, maybe we should hate on the Marvels. You know.
- 25:12Oh that shit's trying to suck it, you know, oh Marvel,
- 25:18you know, or like we gotta do the video like I saw the you
- 25:19know, this is the critical fucking drinker, you know, another you know
- 25:22whatever dick. You know, I saw his video today. The Marvel you
- 25:26know, Marvel is falling apart. You know. It's like now everybody's making
- 25:30that video. You know, we don't have that video. That's our problem,
- 25:33you know, our our our to this. But you know when I
- 25:36do say, hey, this show could be better. What are you talking
- 25:38about? But I've said that before we got to start. You know,
- 25:45I gotta go all in on my slender. I can't be like actually appreciating
- 25:49things and constructively criticizing that. You know. I try to be like,
- 25:53fucking Loki's the worst show ever, bro Loki, man, But that's never
- 26:00how I feel and that's never how we talk on here. So it's just
- 26:03you know, but people see that. They you know, when you could
- 26:07prontively criticize something, it's like you're just hating. I don't know, man,
- 26:14I know this whole thing is like super bizarre to me. And I
- 26:17mean it's always good to jump on like negative bad bandings, right and and
- 26:21also maybe we are going to maybe we are going to have a disaster,
- 26:25but like it's just weird or maybe it's gonna be great, but also it's
- 26:27just weird. Just how it's being formed right now. It's very it's very
- 26:32odd to me. It's like people people had like there were terrible, Like
- 26:37you know, the first for three phases of the MCU is just perfection because
- 26:42it wasn't there was a lot of mess. There was some mess. Someone
- 26:47even said, why can't you know? Been your complaining? Why you know
- 26:49about you want to wait for Why can't you wait for Kane like you waited
- 26:53for Danos? And I'm like, we didn't really wait for Dano's, like,
- 26:56but we know Dano's was coming, or maybe people will say you did
- 27:00know for a while, but Dano's never appeared. We've already had more King
- 27:07than we ever had a Thanos before Infinity War. This is facts. We
- 27:11had a whole movie with King as the villain. This is facts. That
- 27:15was my problem. I felt like they played King as the villain. Damn
- 27:18man, they nerved him so damn bad. Where it doesn't matter if someone
- 27:25said it best that the million Kings the only way they win is through a
- 27:29war of attrition because they get served one on one Danos, if you got
- 27:33a million Thanos as fuck, you know, you know, even without Infinity
- 27:38Gone, a millionaire niggas, you know they're slapping your ass around a Millionai
- 27:44the cats so this but a million Kings doesn't feel like a thread at all,
- 27:48and they haven't made him feel like a threat, and now we've got
- 27:52more time with him. And even though I really enjoyed Victor timely. I
- 27:56don't. One king got carted off by a fucking red ant. I'm still
- 28:03wondering how they're going to connect those million kings we saw with the king who
- 28:08was imprisoned in aunt Man with Victor timely, with the Kings being unleashed at
- 28:15the end of last season, and they still haven't shown up yet. But
- 28:19I don't know how they're going to that. And when people say, oh,
- 28:22you just want the answers, no, I don't. I just don't.
- 28:26You don't see where it's happening. I don't. We're gonna find out
- 28:30there's one more, two more episodes, one more episode. Sorry an apologies
- 28:33early I said episode four. This was episode five. That's how messed up
- 28:37in time I am right now. I mean, it's just it's weird because
- 28:42like last episode literally ended with them all getting erased. This episode ended getting
- 28:49them all erased and then him bringing it back. Yeah, so now you're
- 28:55bringing it back to right before they got erased the first time you got Weini
- 28:59twice. That means this whole episode and I can't all right, there was
- 29:03some moments like I really liked, you know, Sylvie and the bar with
- 29:06Loki when she's like, nigga, get over yourself. I really enjoyed that.
- 29:10But then five minutes later, Sylvie's like, oh no, the world's
- 29:12destroying, so fuck getting over myself. But you knew the world was destroying
- 29:17before. What was going to happen? She really, well, this,
- 29:22this written version of her thought, shit was sweet. Nigga. You know
- 29:25McDonald's just vanished from your face five minutes before you got in the car with
- 29:29her. Where did you thought getting a drinker? Don't fix that that McDonald's
- 29:33hadn't vanished yet, No, it did. Remember, Okay, she comes
- 29:36out of the car. When she comes out McDonald's, puts her ship on
- 29:38the truck. It vanishes. She's like, oh, that's weird. Loki
- 29:42appears behind her. Oh well, we saw it vanished. She saw that.
- 29:47She turns around. She turns because she felt local. She turns around
- 29:51her to Donald's and recognizes that it's drawing. And remember, she knows what's
- 29:55happening. Are you sure McDonald's being gone because it was guine's the McDonald's.
- 30:03Yes. The reason why I asked it because I swear on that scene when
- 30:07Loki appeared out the time door that he was standing in front of the McDonald's
- 30:11was the background. She walked out of McDonald's, puts her ship on the
- 30:15truck. Yeah, he appears behind her, but before he appears the McDonald's
- 30:21and Guinie, she sees it and then turns around to see him, and
- 30:23it's like, look, I already know what's going on, dog Jed Tree.
- 30:27So she already knew that I must have black because I don't remember McDonald
- 30:34No, the McDonald's and Guene's and she sees it in Guenie because she turns
- 30:40around looking for her fucking McDonald's and is dawn. But she knows, you
- 30:44know, when it's gone, she knows what happens. She's like, oh
- 30:45ship, you know, l Gueni, we're fucked, but let me go
- 30:48get a drink and add like we're not fucked, and then let me go
- 30:52back to you know, listen to some music like We're not fucked, to
- 30:56this on the Nose song telling me we have nothing, and then my man
- 31:03just trying to out run the lean greeniness, like when you do you all
- 31:08black dude? Like you know, no, you run a music. You're
- 31:11Italian, we in suit now you're not that he wrote his story fame,
- 31:15you're out of here Green, I don't know. Yeah, it was.
- 31:21It was an entertaining episode, as all of them have been. And yet
- 31:25after five episodes, I still feel like we're pretty much at the end of
- 31:29where we were in the maybe episode one. I'm still like, damn,
- 31:33how they prune Ravana Like it was so unceremonious and I was like, wow,
- 31:37you going. I was like, God, damn, I thought all
- 31:40that. The thing is when she got pruned during episode four, this is
- 31:45what I thought was going to happen. I'm not sure if I said that
- 31:47last week. I thought she would come tumbling onto the bridge when he who
- 31:52remains ran out there, because that's happened to Loki when Loki himself because he
- 32:00was time slipping, and that's that was what that was the reasoning. Yep,
- 32:05he got me there. Yeah, so I guess she did. That's
- 32:17what understand Like, no, that's I mean. I was like, because
- 32:22the moment she got proven, I was like, oh, well that was
- 32:24unceremonious, but you know she'll be back five minutes later. And then when
- 32:28she didn't come back, I was like, well that was everybody came back
- 32:31to her son, Like, I guess she wasn't part of the squad like
- 32:37that her temporal Aurora didn't need it. Yeah, I said to god dam,
- 32:42they just make him ship on this on this season, like every omisode,
- 32:45it's like it's like all the loom is the problem, now, temporar
- 32:49is the problem. Now, Well we're riding this out like mcguffs after mcguffin,
- 32:58Yes it is. And it's just like it's like we can still enjoy
- 33:00the show for the entertainment asker, but to also be like, yo,
- 33:04what the fuck like nigga that niggas introduce that niggas kids for them niggas to
- 33:07get linguenie. He's just like, who's this badass kids? Like he ran
- 33:15away that one kid and he was just like from you're felling like you know,
- 33:25it's like you know what level of badass you are when you are playing
- 33:28with magics like you're bad And then and then it's not just he was playing
- 33:30with the matches. He said he stole them and he set his g I
- 33:34Joe's on fire and then wait, but I'm trying to blow it's well don
- 33:38Don was is his timeline name. He was talking about how the wife left
- 33:44them, So I said whoa the wife left you and the kids? Mind?
- 33:46I mean this niggas a bum ass? Do I mean STI jit salesman
- 33:51like you leave his ass? Do this nigga can't even sell one of them
- 33:55ship to a nigga. Niggas just coming here for donuts. Look I'm but
- 34:00see. But also he was selling it in the year twenty twenty two.
- 34:04All this this mind it like that and that's not Can we talk about really,
- 34:07like the timelines in which they were placed and plugged out of? Yes,
- 34:10and how these niggas all struggle? Why was case so Casey was in
- 34:15Alcatraz and it was the sixties or I don't know. They really did a
- 34:22shout out to the movie Plenty Eastwood to Stay from Alcatraz. So they did
- 34:24a shot from it where immediately I knew they were in Alcatraz before it even
- 34:30said it, just because I know they was in Alcatras. Yeah, that
- 34:31the shot of them going through the pipes is from it Stay from Alcatraz.
- 34:36So, oh, well, that's a nice that's a nice Easter egg.
- 34:39I think I'm pretty sure it had to be. It looks similar if anything.
- 34:43I mean, I just just the way it was. I knew right
- 34:45away. I'm like the jail, so, I mean, I knew jail,
- 34:47but it was like that's big jails, but big jails. Alcatraz they
- 34:52had the whole at least kind of sort. They had the whole noir feel.
- 34:55And when I see jam Moir, I'm like, Alcatraz, you ain't
- 35:01picking enough state like you see yellow. It's Mexico, you know, Okay,
- 35:07Womie Missocica I'm talking about that's a real name. But only some people
- 35:10are gonna get that racism reference. I just knowed. I know B fifteen
- 35:15she was in twenty twelve. If I'm not mistaken that she was a doctor.
- 35:20She was the only one who is living again. I'm gonna say,
- 35:22p of PD. What is it? Pediatrician? Thank you. I don't
- 35:27know why I can't speak English, but a pediatrician. And I mean I
- 35:31was just like, damn, y'all ripped her away from me and a doctor.
- 35:34Enough and let's speak on that, because Okay, this is the thing,
- 35:37Sylvie once again is one hundred percent correct. The TVA stole these niggas
- 35:42from these timelines. This is we're all brainwashed to be put into this life.
- 35:46So no Moby is Don. That is his fucked up life, but
- 35:51those are his kids. You taking him away from this fucked up life of
- 35:53his to make him a time cop. It's really some wild shit because you're
- 36:00lonely, Like somebody needs to tell Loki about himself like Gomora told star Lord
- 36:07about himself in Guardians three, because you know, somebody really needs to be
- 36:12like, what is your fucking damage? Where you need me around m because
- 36:17that's the problem, Like Selvie didn't say that enough in this episode. You
- 36:21know, well, why are you gonna be the guy when he's down?
- 36:24He was he's clearly all down bad, So like she don't she don't hate
- 36:29the nigga? Why she gotta be? Because you're on him like being down
- 36:31bad, and then you're ruining other people's lives by being down bad, like
- 36:37dude had kids. And it's like at the end of it, it seems
- 36:42to be him saying, no, I need to say the universe, which
- 36:44it was all along, but you're hear this story and it ain't these other
- 36:49people. It ain't Casey you mentioning that. Just remember a question I had
- 36:53for you, because I want to ask you why does Don and why do
- 36:59you why are you able to see him basically his like when Loki took him
- 37:04from his timeline, how was Don able to see himself through the timeline?
- 37:09Like I thought that was only really reserved for And I could be wrong.
- 37:14I mean, someone explained, but I thought that was only reserved for Loki
- 37:16because the only person we've been seeing see themselves over and over again has been
- 37:20Loki. So then why when Loki was like, oh, Don, your
- 37:22kids will be Don rightfully says I can't leave my fucking kids behind your fucking
- 37:27badasses. Who's doing? Still there? And then now he's still there and
- 37:30I'm like, wait, when did that happen? Like I just felt like
- 37:32that that frustrated me. I'm not gonna hold you cause again, maybe I
- 37:36missed something, but I just didn't understand how that just felt like them trying
- 37:40to make it where Don could go on this adventure. Yeah, and it
- 37:45was that made no sense If that was the case, I'm like, that
- 37:46makes no sense. That was never established for his kids right in front of
- 37:51him, right there and be like this this universe is done well well.
- 37:53And that goes back to what I had said a couple of weeks ago,
- 37:55which was if and I'm sorry to use children. If y'all have to get
- 38:00families. Maybe I would have felt away when the timelines were being destroyed and
- 38:04and and be fifteen was crying talking about billions is dying. I was just
- 38:07like, it looks like good kids right in front of him right there.
- 38:12That would have been scary. And I don't think you. I don't like
- 38:15harm being done to children, fictional or not. It's just like, even
- 38:21if it would have died, if it was imp like I didn't they imply
- 38:24young people like being infinity faded, you know, popa red, So like,
- 38:28I just feel like something towards that family said, like you said,
- 38:31a family going around the corner, then you just see a bunch of spaghetti.
- 38:35I don't know, I don't I don't know, but I just wanted
- 38:37to ask you that because I wasn't sure where I missed that train of the
- 38:42person being able to see themselves. I thought that was really just Loki.
- 38:45That's really not giving don the character a choice though, But it would have
- 38:49been great if they'd been like, you know, no, you gotta do
- 38:51this. You're like, no, I gotta say my family speaking of speaking
- 38:54a choice, that speech Loki gave back to Sylvia about wanting to get peoples
- 38:59choice was bullshit. Yes, your speeches have been born. He love double
- 39:02speaking like. I was just like, look, this don't make sense what
- 39:06you're saying. I gotta put them back so they can see what their life
- 39:09was before they was in their timeline, so they have a choice. What
- 39:14are you talking about. There's no choice. You are making it for them.
- 39:16You are literally actioning and affecting everything. She said it best. She's
- 39:22like, dude, you are making them see something they can't unsee you.
- 39:25That's not giving a person a choice. That's the matrix again. It's like,
- 39:30do you want to take this, you want to go back to eating
- 39:32your steak or do you you know now the steak is face. And I
- 39:37was gonna say technically because someone could say, well, when he first when
- 39:39he popped up with the time door for the third time or second time for
- 39:43some people like and said hey, come with me if you want to live,
- 39:46yep, maybe that was a choice that they could have made. They
- 39:49could have been like fuck you cracking and kept it pushing right, or they
- 39:52could have, you know, did what they did was just keep going.
- 39:55And I'm just like, but would they really have a choice, like to
- 40:00you to what silver Spoint says, once you show somebody some ship like that,
- 40:05Like if that happened to you, would you be like, no,
- 40:07I'm good, comes out out of I might be like, no, I'm
- 40:13good, But at the same time, I'd be like, Yo, that's
- 40:14some ship I never seen in my life. You would keep staying curious about
- 40:17it and start searching. Yeah, because I'd never been able to leave that
- 40:20down. A nigga opened up, Tom, It'll tell me fucking uppearing in
- 40:24my womb, and then it was like, nah, I'm and I'm like,
- 40:29now I'm good, and he stepped back into this energy door and vanished.
- 40:31Nigga for the rest of my life. I think I was insane,
- 40:37so I have to go through that door. Yes, I'd be like,
- 40:39fuck it, I'm crazy right now, I'm going through this door. Just
- 40:42I'm already crazy, or this is a dream. I'm going through the door,
- 40:45you know, because there ain't no way this is really happening. Could
- 40:47you imagine if a time door open, like on a platform in a sub
- 40:51in a submit station here in New York. Honestly, so a lot of
- 40:54us would be like, you know, what and nothing to do with me
- 40:58today. Been pushing public, you would leave it alone because you'd be like
- 41:04other people saw this ship. But in private, you wouldn't be able to
- 41:07leave it alone because you'd be like, no, I'm going insane, so
- 41:10I have to go through this. This is a dream, you know,
- 41:13all those type things that start fucking with you. And that's what she That's
- 41:15what he did to the people he brought him, you know, pretty much
- 41:19private or like you know, Casey's on the but like Casey's sitting there just
- 41:22out of prison on the beach and this nigga's open. You know, it's
- 41:24like and a succession. I'm just saying, what are you gonna do?
- 41:28Like, you're gonna go through it. He's they got nothing to lose.
- 41:32He's a fucking criminal, yeah, allegedly because I don't know what he got
- 41:36put up for, but he's doing he's doing criminals ship. Even when he
- 41:38gets to that and he's still thinking horrible criminals shop, He's still talking about
- 41:43getting to the bank, which is weird. I'm just like, out of
- 41:45everything, bro, you can just go to a beach. It's like,
- 41:47let's And it was just weird. Also because It's just like, when did
- 41:52they telegraph that Casey was, you know, a jailbird, like they you
- 41:55could sit in here and say they telegraphed be fifteen to be the type of
- 41:59person wants to help people all the time. Okay, because he documents no
- 42:04doctor makes sense don literally Mobius and from season one was talking about fucking jet
- 42:08skis. Okay, got it. I mean Casey had everything in his desk.
- 42:12He's a you know, he's a klepto because he had all the cinema
- 42:15stuff. He was literally he wasn't taking it, like stealing it. What
- 42:20do you mean? Literally he was confiscating from the people he was supposed to
- 42:23confiscate from and put it in the desk. This feels like a lot of
- 42:27you know, a lot of Season two feels like, you know, the
- 42:30wrong extrapolation, you know, it feels like this is the wrongplation. Yet
- 42:34we didn't talk about Obi though, so Obi was the closest to who he
- 42:38is now. Like I said, they try to be cute with the whole
- 42:40Oh I am a best time telling writer, you know what I mean?
- 42:43Like because you know, with the whole TVA hand book whatever he came from
- 42:46ninety four. He was plucked out in nineteen ninety four. I wanted to
- 42:50talk really quick about the and I guess it doesn't matter. This is science
- 42:52fiction, he said, right, I don't know he was married. He
- 42:57was definitely later his wife left, well, he says his wife left them,
- 43:01so because he was he spent eighteen months building a time pad. And
- 43:07yes it was cute the way they made it very nineties with the giant modules
- 43:10and all that stuff, but they have a tech in ninety four to do
- 43:14that. I mean, he's a genius. Okay, you know he's mcgiver.
- 43:21He can made that shit out of a banana and a paper clip.
- 43:23Okay, you give him enough. Tom. You know what's his name?
- 43:27I mean, you know it's the same. And it's funny because I didn't
- 43:29even catch the reference. He's basically uh Rick and Morty who he's He's the
- 43:35doc from Back to the Future, because they even made a reference in the
- 43:38last episode. I completely forgot this, but it's a direct reference to Back
- 43:44to the Future when he brings out the whole model and shows them the models
- 43:49like, sorry, I didn't have the I only had one to the paint
- 43:52and themes aren't built to scale m that's a reference from that's the Doc shows
- 43:57when he tells Marty the whole plan to drive the car and have the lightning
- 44:01bolt hit the thing. He pulls off a sheet and has a whole model
- 44:06of the town and says, sorry, it's not built to steal and I'm
- 44:09not time to put a coat of paint on it. Yeah, so that
- 44:14was a direct reference. So he's basically that type of level genius, you
- 44:16know, like how Doc built a time machine in a Dolorean in eighty eight,
- 44:22right eighty six, I think, yeah, okay, yeah, it's
- 44:27supposed to be that type of level. So yeah, I don't mind that.
- 44:29It's just it is what it is. It took him eighteen months nineteen.
- 44:31Now, I love him. So he was hilarious throughout this episode.
- 44:36But again, you know that was in his life and you're turning them into
- 44:38a time cop and that was well, he's the mechanic behind the time Wherever
- 44:45they were was his same office, whatever it was. Was. Yes,
- 44:47that I noticed that nothing for miles around because they built miles around him.
- 44:53The whole TVA gets built around him. So yeah, I got all that.
- 44:58That's cute. Like I said, it from early I just feel like
- 45:05this show is going to end with a bunch of Knes beard and I'm supposed
- 45:08to care. They just they just should not have done what they've done.
- 45:15And a man three that that was That was the mistake. That was the
- 45:20initial mistaken that I would really be hype when a bunch of Kanes appeared at
- 45:23the end of the day. Yeah, yeah, even I think even if
- 45:25even I seem like they should have appeared in episode one, in that episode
- 45:30six, I would have been much more hype if I hadn't seen this man
- 45:34get served by a bunch of ants. That correct, and that also leads
- 45:38to the like the elephant in the room about what happens with this King character?
- 45:42What's happening with Jonathan Major's he is going to trial this month? This
- 45:45is November. I don't know when you listen, guys are listening to this,
- 45:49but this is November twenty twenty three. Welcome to the timeslot. But
- 45:52uh, he's going to trial this month for the case, right, And
- 45:57there's there's so much stuff that happened. I would have respected Tarren Howard to
- 46:00replace a mistake. Sorry, that was the tops talk about the multiverse for
- 46:14the future you want to be. You've been saying Terrence Howard is going to
- 46:21replace Try to say, may I'm back Mane, I'm back Mane. You
- 46:31know that's just you know, somebody who serves lunch at the Marvel cafeteria told
- 46:37me that, you know, they were talking about I just got a lot
- 46:46of sources. I'm sure you do. I'm sure you do lunch ladies and
- 46:50known, but yeah, I don't know. I I'm I'm rightfully confused,
- 46:55still entertained by things like Loki, but also just like I just have so
- 47:00many questions and again, I just don't like this whole this, this whole
- 47:06I guess scenario right now that is being painted or this this thing that's being
- 47:09painted that mark, like I get. You know, we talked about like
- 47:13I feel like every few years has happened, and it happened before, like
- 47:15what ten years ago or five years ago when they were like, oh,
- 47:17superhero fatigue and blah blah blah blah. Then you know then Marvel, Marvel,
- 47:22uh, Marvel is almost at Disney. But Marvel and DC did did
- 47:25some good things, right, So I'm just like it's almost superhero fatigue or
- 47:30it's just like bad storytelling fatigue, Yeah, which is all that's that's you
- 47:36know, with any genre, and people had like you know, and even
- 47:38in the same article they mentioned Guardians of Galaxy made a billion dollars and it
- 47:43was you know, well received. Everyone loved it, you know, across
- 47:45the Spider verse. Of course we already know. But this is the other
- 47:49part where I always say, like, also say some of the media covers
- 47:52is bullshit, because I'm like that. So remember how you just said.
- 47:53This Variety article spawned other people to talk and seeing their two cents. Fine,
- 47:59the Verge posted something, I think it was today. They posted something
- 48:01where they used the image of Guardians of the Galaxy as the thumbnail and said,
- 48:06uh, what is Marvel down? They say, Marvel down? Bag.
- 48:08We talked like that. Hold on, let me see what exactly did
- 48:10they say? They said, is it over? Is it over? Some
- 48:15shit like that. I'm scrolling up right now in Marvel we no longer trust
- 48:22Guardians of the Galaxy. With the Guardians with a picture of Nebulator holding the
- 48:28life model of Peter Quilt, and I'm just like, man, I love
- 48:32that movie. I watch it again. Oh it was fantastic, But I'm
- 48:35like, why would you use a successful movie that thedn't say because it gets
- 48:38people licking. They're like, no, I love that movie. What are
- 48:40you talking about? Click? You know, it's all tape bright, it's
- 48:45you know, it's it's And then the caption under the picture is the Guardians
- 48:49once guaranteed a good time. Technically they still do, so what are you
- 48:52talking about? But no, now they don't because there's no more Guardians than
- 48:53James Junner's over there in DC. But what is it? There's nobody else
- 48:58who could write a moment suspicious. Oh, this is a bit suspicious.
- 49:01And then also just I guess as we close this out, this conversation is
- 49:06just about Marvel, and this whole article is just like the things I'm like,
- 49:09Yo, is this actually confirmed? Like they said how Nia da Costa?
- 49:14How like they said that she and when the thing was still in post
- 49:17production that she basically stepped away to start her new movie. That might be
- 49:22that that seems confirmed that nobody was denying that one. That was more like,
- 49:25yeah, that was more like that happened, okay, And yeah,
- 49:30again from everything I've read and from people who are actually close in the industry,
- 49:34there's like that's not ever a good thing. No, no, it's
- 49:37not. No, it's not at all. But it also is it based
- 49:39on things that were out of her control because they said they had a lot
- 49:42of rewrites and they have some reshoots. Who knows if they took it out
- 49:45of her hands by that point. But like I love Nia, and I
- 49:50think that everyone deserves Like I think Nia is definitely doing what a lot of
- 49:53white men do in the industry. It's like they do a small, little
- 49:58movie and then they get these big movie movies, and a lot of times
- 50:00the results ain't what we wanted, you know, Like Colin trefor Row did
- 50:05it with Jurassic You know, I loved his little, small in dependent movie
- 50:07and then them Jurassic movies are trash, you know, But he got the
- 50:10chance to watch. Shouldn't he get the chance to do the same thing.
- 50:14And now she's doing her new joint with Tesla, and I'm sure that's to
- 50:16be cause that's who did her first movie, and so I'm sure that's back
- 50:20to what she should be doing, you know, or what she wants to
- 50:22be doing. Has this been sensationalized like this and other movies before, because
- 50:25like now I'm kind of weird also weirded out, like like they even blaming
- 50:30Neil like like whether like like even mentioning her like saying, oh, even
- 50:32she walked away from the shit in She's even part of help was normally right.
- 50:38I mean people talk about it. Colin Trevor Road is a great example.
- 50:42That man had a Star Wars movie on the way and then when Jurassic
- 50:45War and it wasn't in Jurassic he had this other film that was like his
- 50:49because he did Jurassic and then he was like, let me do what I
- 50:51want to do and they're like, yeah, do whatever you want. So
- 50:52he did this other movie and it flopped out the fuck and they were like,
- 50:57oh, well Star Wars you know, and so that was like,
- 51:00you know, that was known. This movie flop, so they ain't Star
- 51:04Wars from him, and it was a big thing. So not just her
- 51:06people. You know, when you hot, you hot it. When you
- 51:07ain't, they gonna give it to you. And that's the problem right now
- 51:10Marvels is trending towards not hot, so they gonna give her the business.
- 51:15And that's just how the business grows. Now we gonna, you know,
- 51:16we're gonna see it next week and we'll be here to talk about it.
- 51:20And I'm hoping for the best, because god damn it. You know,
- 51:22I love me some Monica, and I love me some, you know,
- 51:27Miss Marvel, and I even love me some you know, brelaunsing and everything.
- 51:30So I'm I'm hoping. But you know, I've heard, I've not
- 51:34heard, and the decision to hold the embargo until the last minute, when
- 51:40I really don't think this is gonna be that impactful in the huge Marvel universe.
- 51:45Like you said, we've that stares me. We've been in the game
- 51:47for this long and we've seen it like when when they're embargos are long as
- 51:52fuck because you know, like for for good reason, and when they're short
- 51:55and what that typically spells, or when they're short for because it's like they
- 52:00you know, like Infinity War. I saw, I think we saw that.
- 52:05We saw that many weeks in advance, We saw that many why for
- 52:09a minute on the Infinity War that was a very particular game was very short.
- 52:15The end game was like two days before that movie came out, But
- 52:17that could be the one we were at. Yeah, true, but most
- 52:21people hadn't seen any game in game because they did the premiere, it was
- 52:23very short because they knew they didn't want the spoilers getting out. That was
- 52:27more where they didn't want getting out. But this, I don't know about
- 52:30this. Don't feel like there's the spoiler movie. You know. It feels
- 52:35like Captain Marvel is kind of Captain Marvel and yeah, and then they talk
- 52:38about things like you know, virtual you know, the effects and animation and
- 52:44ships being fucked up. And then and then the part I said, like
- 52:46I said, there were some merits truth in the article in this low key
- 52:51episode, there was some wet looking trip well, I mean, the string
- 52:54Linguini was great, but like when he was on the beach for Casey,
- 52:58I'm like, this is like I got a question for you, though,
- 53:02do you think that John the Majors can return in the Court of public opinion?
- 53:09Because it feels like this, dude, it's pretty much the wow but
- 53:15doesn't but doesn't really feel that way, Like you said, the Court of
- 53:19publican like the the fire was high when everything first broke right, this was
- 53:23the summer. It still it feels pretty it is it though, because then
- 53:28now you have a lot of the nace areas that they're you know, they're
- 53:30talking about all the stuff that's happened with his ex girlfriend and all this.
- 53:34You know, you have all these people. So I'm just like, I
- 53:37don't know that there's a lot of there's a lot of cloudiness here for me.
- 53:39I don't feel as I feel for me. I don't feel like it's
- 53:44as strong as it was a few months back when people was just like hell
- 53:47no. Now like people are like, well, like, I feel like
- 53:50people are being in fee right now. I think you're right. And I
- 53:52think it's also that like we live in that world like the whole you know,
- 53:57recast the child thing where it's like, you know, it's seemed to
- 54:00be loud, but in reality, you know what condor fervor makes a billion
- 54:04dollars, then here, you know, it's not that loud. I don't
- 54:07know. But as I mean, what his future looks like, I have
- 54:09no clue. I think if I think if they come back with the Banger,
- 54:14you know, people are still going to be, you know, down
- 54:16for him, but would like it from in a good way, like or
- 54:21you get down from a good way. But what but like that seemed like
- 54:23they dropped his other movie from the schedule. You know, I mean,
- 54:27his own his own representation dropped him. Mad people dropped him, and his
- 54:30own camp dropped him because because there was apparently some veracity to to the things
- 54:36that were being said and explain about his behavior. Yeah, because one of
- 54:39the I don't know, Yeah, and I didn't notice they said that one
- 54:44of his agencies dropped him before they arrests even happened. Yes, and that's
- 54:46the one I'm that's why he was just a wild boy in general. And
- 54:51and that's what I'm alluding to to knew I've heard, you know, because
- 54:55that was the tweets came out when the ship first happened, and people who
- 54:59knew him, it's like all I always do is a wild boy. And
- 55:01then you know, someone shut them tweets down real quick. Marvel probably,
- 55:06but you know, it was like the word was out on the street that
- 55:08he was always a wild boy. I mean, most of these people ain't
- 55:15shit. You know. That goes what I was saying. You know,
- 55:17I have just like I don't know what's about to happen in this this season
- 55:22or series finale. I don't know of Loki. I just have no idea
- 55:28where Marvel is headed right now? Are they They're gonna be fine. Billions
- 55:32of dollars doesn't just evaporate into thin air, right, and they've got,
- 55:37you know, seventy eighty years a history of comics to Polon like it's it's
- 55:43ridiculous. And for someone like me, like with the X Men, I
- 55:46you know, I'm super hyped for it, but at the same time,
- 55:49I really it doesn't matter to me as much because it's like, yeah,
- 55:52that'll be dope, and however they do, it'll be dope. But I'm
- 55:55I'm a comic head, you know, and there's so much dope shit going
- 55:58on into the edh Men in the comics right now. I hope they would
- 56:00do the CoA era type stuff. But if they don't, I still got
- 56:04the comics. So it's like they're gonna be fine because I'm either way,
- 56:07I'm gonna go see the X Men ship. Yeah, yeah, well I
- 56:09think it'll do Coca and that I did, like the superhero industry, you
- 56:14won't even call that it's not going anywhere. I'm excited to see what James
- 56:16Gunn is doing with DC and like, man, yeah that man, you
- 56:22know, I mean he did it with Guardians of the Galaxy, like and
- 56:24he's talking about, you know, all start Superman being one of his inspirations
- 56:29for Superman legacy. So he got my money right there. And then we've
- 56:32got you know, beyond the Spider Verse, you know, coming out like
- 56:37right, you know, Invincible season two. You know we've seen the first
- 56:40few episodes of that is great. Yeah. Make sure, by the way,
- 56:44make sure you go to YouTube our YouTube for for Ogners TV, because
- 56:47we have that. We have a quick hit of me talking with Robert Kirkman
- 56:53creator, talking with Simon and I don't want to mispronounce his last name,
- 56:58but talking with Simon the showrunner, excuse me, the executive producer of the
- 57:01show. So I just there's a lot, there's a lot coming down pipeline.
- 57:08So you know it's not you know, they just a lot of good
- 57:13things. That a lot of good things. Yeah, they say they got
- 57:15Michael Green working on Blade. That's my boy. You know see how that
- 57:21works out. I mean, he did Logan. You know, some of
- 57:22some of the best superhero ship came from Michael, so you know he might
- 57:27you know, bring that Logan touch to this one. I'm scared though,
- 57:29because I said all this Hemmon and Han that that might be like Herschela might
- 57:35be over that ship. I mean who I mean. At the same time,
- 57:37as much as I love Myhrscheler, they can get another Blade, you
- 57:39know, yeah, of course, But I'm just still saying I like Marshal,
- 57:43but probably wasn't the best choice for Blade in the first place. You
- 57:47know, to be dead ass, so that wasn't your fancast. Who was
- 57:51your fancast? I don't know. It would be somebody younger and unknown,
- 57:53somebody who can really whoop ass. You know. I need another Wesley.
- 57:57I need it. I need somebody who can whoop ass like a trained martial
- 58:00artists, you know, you know, someone who's like really doing that ship,
- 58:05not someone who's going to step in and be like train me to be
- 58:07this. I need someone who can do it, you know, really,
- 58:10if you really want to do Blade the way I want to see it,
- 58:13or I need someone. I think Maharschela can pull this off. But I'm
- 58:17not sure they were going to go that route is to bring the horror,
- 58:21you know, the horror. But I think he could do the physicality.
- 58:23I don't I don't have any questions about I think no, I think he
- 58:25could do It's in shape. Yeah, you know, it's cuts and it's
- 58:29not not people are really fighting out there, and I think he can bring
- 58:32the horror, so he would. He wasn't my choice. But when they
- 58:36cashim, I'm like, oh, Ship, that's a great gut you know,
- 58:38don't gonna be wrong. Yeah, you know, but it wasn't like
- 58:42I wasn't thinking Myherschela's Blade, you know. That was I was thinking a
- 58:45million other people. He could be, you know, Marshalla, could be
- 58:46anybody. You know. He's a great actor. So this is Blade to
- 58:51me is like, unless you we're gonna do some ill shit, I don't
- 58:53feel like you Yeah no, no, no, not that bring it back.
- 58:59But you just don't need a great actor, you know. This is
- 59:02what I mean. Wesley's a great actor, and is right what you trying
- 59:06to say that? I mean, speak plainly, sir, what are you
- 59:09trying to say? Now? Wesley's a great actor. I don't think Blade
- 59:13is a that deep a role written in the first three films. I think
- 59:17Wesley put his all into it and made that. And I think you need
- 59:21a great actor or at least somebody who commits to that, you know,
- 59:25because you might not even need a great actor, because it's like someone like
- 59:28Arnold, who isn't traditionally a great actor, was perfect for the role of
- 59:31the Terminator where it was especially that's early where he's not great acting, but
- 59:36it just fit him. Keanu is not a great after me, but Neo
- 59:40fits him like a glove, you know, Bill and Ted fits him like
- 59:45a glove. David Dukeveny is another one. He David Dukeoveny said this about
- 59:51himself. He's like, I'm a one note actor, but I play that
- 59:52note very well, you know. And that's like and he does the X
- 59:58Files, you know, certain that other one Californication, like he can you
- 1:00:00know, it's certain roles that are for him. And he's like, when
- 1:00:04I step outside that lane, it don't work, don't right he knows,
- 1:00:06he knows himself. Yeah, So it's like that's it could be somebody who's
- 1:00:09a great actor who's committed, or it could be somebody who's not even a
- 1:00:13great actor, but they just fit Blade, you know. And so just
- 1:00:16I don't think Blade is that thing where you need Marshela. You know,
- 1:00:24come on, this man is a great actor. You know, this is
- 1:00:28Moonlight, this you know, this man can act like, yeah, okay,
- 1:00:31that's fair, like Jonathan made. I mean like they've given Jonathan a
- 1:00:37lot to do with he who remains and with and with time Lee. Now,
- 1:00:40you know, I don't think they give Blade all that. You know,
- 1:00:44Blade is more chopping heads off and you know, one liners like to
- 1:00:50do there, like you know, that's the fun thing. King is really
- 1:00:54giving this. You know, he different three different roles he's at so far
- 1:01:00because you know, all three of these interpretations have been different interpretations, as
- 1:01:05they should be. You you're literally playing unlimited manifestations of a character, unlimited power
