- 1:08SPEAKER_04: Episode three, we pushing, we driving, we're doing pretty good here.
- 1:12SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
- 1:13SPEAKER_04: Uh I finally got somebody to be on the podcast, man.
- 1:16SPEAKER_04: They got a nice little interview going on, and I'm gonna let her go ahead and introduce herself.
- 1:22SPEAKER_02: Hi, I'm Al the way J.
- 1:24SPEAKER_02: Um, y'all probably know me as a local rapper here in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
- 1:28SPEAKER_02: Um I'm a mother and artist, and yeah, I'm excited to get myself and my brand out there.
- 1:35SPEAKER_04: She ain't no regular artist either.
- 1:37SPEAKER_04: Like I I've seen I've seen her her work um from her mom.
- 1:42SPEAKER_04: Her mom was showing me while I was trying to face somebody up in school, and I had to stop.
- 1:47SPEAKER_04: I'm like, because I love music.
- 1:49SPEAKER_04: Y'all know me, I love music so much.
- 1:51SPEAKER_04: And and um when I heard I was like, ain't no way.
- 1:56SPEAKER_04: I was like, everybody, we say I know, man.
- 2:02SPEAKER_04: Because it's like people, like, and I apologize because I listened to so much of your music, I kind of forgot which one it was exactly, but I remember the moment, and I remember everybody started gathering around.
- 2:16SPEAKER_04: And I was just like, people, I know it was a remix.
- 2:20SPEAKER_04: People who do remixes are scared and timid to do their thing on the remix because they don't want to, you know, what if it pops and you you get in trouble or whatever the case may be.
- 2:30SPEAKER_04: You was like, No, no, this is my song.
- 2:33SPEAKER_04: Okay, he was like, you was on your little Wayne O'Sillions mixtape vibe.
- 2:37SPEAKER_04: You like this is my song now.
- 2:38SPEAKER_04: And I was like, that's what I'm talking about.
- 2:41SPEAKER_04: And I love it when a female rapper come in and just dominate, you know what I'm saying?
- 2:49SPEAKER_04: Like, it's always on the guys, and ain't nothing wrong with the guys, but you got lyrics, you know what I'm saying?
- 2:56SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
- 2:57SPEAKER_04: Like, so to start things off though, I gotta ask you, who is out the way J?
- 3:04SPEAKER_04: Like, what where in the world did that name come from?
- 3:07SPEAKER_04: And how do you spell it?
- 3:08SPEAKER_04: Let everybody know.
- 3:09SPEAKER_04: Put your socials out there, do what you gotta do.
- 3:11SPEAKER_04: But I just need to know where did that where did it come from?
- 3:13SPEAKER_02: So, um, Out the Way J is, well, first off, let me give y'all my Facebook and my Instagram.
- 3:19SPEAKER_02: It's O-U-T-A W A Y J A Y.
- 3:25SPEAKER_02: Um, it's underscore J A Y on Instagram, but it's Out the Way and then it's J J A Y.
- 3:30SPEAKER_02: Um, I would say Out the Way is just like, I mean, clearly most artists gotta like an altered ego.
- 3:36SPEAKER_02: So you know you got your other person, like Jada is real um friendly, Jada is giving, compassionate, kind, um caring, supportive.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: You know, that's Jada, that's love.
- 3:54SPEAKER_02: Out the way is like you got me in that moment, like, yeah, I'ma let you know.
- 3:59SPEAKER_02: It's that switchover.
- 4:01SPEAKER_04: Oh, so you got two sides too.
- 4:03SPEAKER_02: It's that switchover, like, hold on.
- 4:06SPEAKER_04: Oh no.
- 4:07SPEAKER_04: I gotta watch you.
- 4:08SPEAKER_02: It's more so just like, you know, finding a way to like mesh them both is kind of the hard part, I guess.
- 4:14SPEAKER_02: Like being a good person, but still having that balance to like don't freaking play with me either.
- 4:18SPEAKER_04: So you gotta find balance between the two, but you know how to unleash whatever you need to unleash it for.
- 4:24SPEAKER_04: Yeah, for sure.
- 4:25SPEAKER_04: But um, I took it as like I'm a person who's out the way, literally.
- 4:30SPEAKER_04: Like, I stay to myself and I'm here to just put pressure on people.
- 4:34SPEAKER_02: For sure.
- 4:35SPEAKER_02: That's that's definitely it.
- 4:36SPEAKER_02: Um, that definitely plays a part of it.
- 4:39SPEAKER_02: I'm very like private.
- 4:40SPEAKER_02: Um, I like to keep my family private, my relationship.
- 4:44SPEAKER_02: Well, it was hard to find you on Facebook.
- 4:45SPEAKER_04: I was trying to find you every you are private.
- 4:47SPEAKER_02: Yes, I like to keep myself private for sure.
- 4:49SPEAKER_02: So that is definitely it, but again, majority of the time I'm compassionate or giving or you know what I mean?
- 4:55SPEAKER_02: So it's like that other part of me, you gonna get you gonna get dealt with accordingly.
- 5:01SPEAKER_02: That's all I can say.
- 5:02SPEAKER_02: You're gonna get dealt with accordingly.
- 5:04SPEAKER_04: See, I like that personally.
- 5:05SPEAKER_04: I I like a I like a woman who can, you know, stand on business, you know, and still, like you said, keep that fine balance, you know.
- 5:13SPEAKER_04: Like that's that's real cool, man.
- 5:15SPEAKER_04: That's real cool.
- 5:16SPEAKER_04: So um what what else I gotta say to you for you?
- 5:20SPEAKER_04: Um now music.
- 5:24SPEAKER_04: I heard you rap.
- 5:26SPEAKER_04: I heard you spit bars.
- 5:28SPEAKER_04: Who is your inspiration, man?
- 5:30SPEAKER_04: Because like I I couldn't pinpoint like usually you can tell like somebody you know picked up a cadence from somebody, or they just came up with it on them by themselves.
- 5:37SPEAKER_04: Like I was telling your friend over there, I was like, I was like, who are you inspired by?
- 5:41SPEAKER_02: Like, um, if I could be real, I know people probably gonna throw their shade, but even the hairstyle today, mind your business, y'all.
- 5:49SPEAKER_02: Don't don't throw no shade to nobody.
- 5:51SPEAKER_02: I don't care.
- 5:51SPEAKER_02: I'm a Nicki Minaj era.
- 5:53SPEAKER_02: I knew it.
- 5:53SPEAKER_02: That's my person, that was my girl, that was my time.
- 5:56SPEAKER_02: Um she done went crazy a little bit, but she she went off the dick for my generation.
- 6:02SPEAKER_02: She kind of paved the way for us.
- 6:04SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 6:05SPEAKER_02: Before that, they had Little Kim's and um Foxy Browns and stuff like that.
- 6:09SPEAKER_02: And I love all music.
- 6:10SPEAKER_02: So even when you first start rapping, you have to go back and study.
- 6:13SPEAKER_02: You have to go back and listen to all different rappers.
- 6:16SPEAKER_02: You have to listen to Queen Latifah and Foxy Brown and uh MC Light, Salt and Pepper.
- 6:22SPEAKER_02: You know, you have to study how it really goes.
- 6:24SPEAKER_02: But if we was going to like bars and just listening to people for sure, Nicki Minaj, that was my and people don't give her enough credit, man.
- 6:31SPEAKER_04: Like, like I know we got Cardi B, we got Megan the stallion and stuff, and kudos to them.
- 6:37SPEAKER_04: Yes, but like like you said, like the style they're rapping in now, who paved the way for it.
- 6:43SPEAKER_04: For sure, you know what I'm saying?
- 6:45SPEAKER_04: But like Nicki Minaj, man, like you could she was undoubted undoubtedly the the best female rapper of our time for over a decade, yeah.
- 6:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, for agevity of time.
- 6:56SPEAKER_04: So I still rock with it.
- 6:58SPEAKER_02: You knew all her style, like color, hair, I mean everything.
- 7:01SPEAKER_02: We was inspired, but you were you're 15, 13, you're 12 years old, you're inspired by somebody, even big butts and stuff like that, like that.
- 7:09SPEAKER_02: That was Nikki.
- 7:11SPEAKER_02: That's where we came from.
- 7:12SPEAKER_02: That's the number 10.
- 7:13SPEAKER_04: That was the time, like she said if you got it, you better say something about it.
- 7:19SPEAKER_02: Of course, Nicki Minaj.
- 7:20SPEAKER_04: Yeah, she man, I was so in love with that girl.
- 7:24SPEAKER_04: I swear.
- 7:25SPEAKER_04: I wanted Nikki so bad as a kid.
- 7:28SPEAKER_04: Everybody did, but it was like she made it cool for niggas to rap her lyrics.
- 7:35SPEAKER_04: Like, you might still be able to say something, but he was like, nah, whatever.
- 7:39SPEAKER_02: It's so much more like I love that music is changing so much.
- 7:43SPEAKER_02: I pulled up to the gas station with my dad the other day, and this guy was banging Timbs.
- 7:47SPEAKER_02: He was like, I know what you need.
- 7:50SPEAKER_02: I wrote the window down and started singing with him.
- 7:52SPEAKER_02: He was laughing because I'm like, yeah, because it's a new time.
- 7:54SPEAKER_02: I mean, and especially women is empowered right now.
- 7:58SPEAKER_04: Like women, we we're definitely taking over the music game right now.
- 8:03SPEAKER_02: We tired of that shit.
- 8:05SPEAKER_02: Y'all speaking.
- 8:06SPEAKER_02: We tired of hearing this bullshit.
- 8:08SPEAKER_02: Y'all, y'all speaking up.
- 8:10SPEAKER_02: Like, it's we empowered right now for sure.
- 8:12SPEAKER_02: So I'm just I'm just wanting anybody around me like just to be doing their thing.
- 8:17SPEAKER_02: You know, that's where I'm at with it.
- 8:18SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I like where music is heading, you know?
- 8:20SPEAKER_04: Like, I'm not I'm not against it, and I know a lot of dudes who are, and I'm just like, why?
- 8:26SPEAKER_04: Why why can't why can't the the next woman speak?
- 8:29SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
- 8:30SPEAKER_04: Like, like y'all, and this was crazy too.
- 8:34SPEAKER_04: Like, they say women are are rapping the same, speaking on the same things, but if you really listen closely, they all got a different mission.
- 8:42SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah, they all got a different, like a different journey, a different path, a different lane.
- 8:48SPEAKER_04: Like, you could spit the same making the stallion bars.
- 8:52SPEAKER_04: But you ain't making the style.
- 8:53SPEAKER_04: You ain't making it Italian, you know?
- 8:54SPEAKER_04: Like, you can write a song for me that came from Chris Brown.
- 8:57SPEAKER_04: I can't sing it like him.
- 8:59SPEAKER_04: It's not it's gonna hit different.
- 9:00SPEAKER_01: For sure.
- 9:01SPEAKER_04: And so people, I just I just wish people put a little bit more respect on it, you know what I'm saying?
- 9:05SPEAKER_04: Absolutely, but like I I I appreciate you for putting Nikki out there because I've been man, I've been fighting this war with people for the for a minute now.
- 9:14SPEAKER_02: It's convenient, I'm telling you, style right now, but Nikki Minaj.
- 9:17SPEAKER_04: I know I'm seeing the style of the bangs and everything.
- 9:19SPEAKER_04: That was like her 2012 era.
- 9:20SPEAKER_04: I'm like, yeah, that is it, it's good to see.
- 9:23SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
- 9:24SPEAKER_04: But um, so like as far as artists go, I know you said Nikki.
- 9:28SPEAKER_04: Is there anybody else that like really stand out to you that you like to listen to or whatever?
- 9:32SPEAKER_02: So I can kind of go back um and tell you like what made me want to rap, I should say, like inspiration for me.
- 9:39SPEAKER_02: Um, I'm an east side girl, yeah.
- 9:41SPEAKER_02: I don't care.
- 9:41SPEAKER_02: They talk shit about the east side.
- 9:43SPEAKER_02: I don't care, I'm east side till I die.
- 9:45SPEAKER_02: Um, but my cousins are wise guys, Aries, Quavy, T.
- 9:50SPEAKER_02: So growing up in the house with them, um, my auntie was a single mother of five boys.
- 9:56SPEAKER_02: They would do stuff like play on the computer, and my cousins would rap, and they would perform back then at like Club Dreamers and little stuff like that, and I would see them and I'd be like, dang, yeah, it's a lot a lot of my cousins.
- 10:08SPEAKER_02: I even got a cousin that's assigned to a little thing called Moon, uh, it's not even little, but it's a place in Texas, it's called Moon Yang Gang.
- 10:14SPEAKER_02: She now she lives in Dallas and she popping right now.
- 10:18SPEAKER_02: Shout out to Dallas, yes.
- 10:19SPEAKER_02: Um, but a lot of my family just music is in our family.
- 10:22SPEAKER_02: My cousin Jason made it to BET, he's a DJ.
- 10:25SPEAKER_02: Um, it's just ancestry or something.
- 10:29SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 10:30SPEAKER_02: It's just like I'm connected to so many people that been doing music for so long.
- 10:35SPEAKER_02: Even my friend T Asia, my sister, like I'm even when we did Cash Doll, she's connected to so many, like, it's just a it's a door that's been there that I just hadn't knocked on for real.
- 10:46SPEAKER_02: Like and I always liked literature, I always like poetry.
- 10:50SPEAKER_02: So I'm like, damn, how can I turn this into music?
- 10:52SPEAKER_02: Like I can't.
- 10:53SPEAKER_04: You ain't knocking on no door, you're gonna kick that door down, man.
- 10:56SPEAKER_04: You're gonna kick that door down anytime.
- 10:59SPEAKER_04: I'm trying to tell you, like, no, seriously though, because it's like again, going back to like listening to your music, and I'm just like, she really got something to say.
- 11:08SPEAKER_04: Like, she is on a mission, you know what I'm saying?
- 11:11SPEAKER_04: Like, you hungry for it, and don't lose that.
- 11:14SPEAKER_04: Cause like people, when they get to a certain point in their career, they slow down.
- 11:20SPEAKER_04: And they like, what else can I do?
- 11:21SPEAKER_04: I could drop anything and it'll hit.
- 11:24SPEAKER_04: Like, one example that and uh it hurts my soul to say it, but Drake, man.
- 11:28SPEAKER_04: Like, like I love meets with Drake, like like the like his music be hitting, but he went to the top, yeah.
- 11:36SPEAKER_04: And it's just like you still gotta fight for your spot though, so why are you slowing down, you know?
- 11:41SPEAKER_04: Like his last few projects is like I can say these last three albums that he had dropped.
- 11:46SPEAKER_04: I mean, I liked them because rent was due.
- 11:48SPEAKER_04: Kendrick tore that tore him up, I'm not gonna lie.
- 11:51SPEAKER_04: And he had to prove something.
- 11:53SPEAKER_02: So I was like, Well, for sure.
- 11:54SPEAKER_02: He definitely, after Kendrick Lamar and his little uh, he definitely had something to prove because it basically was like, shit, I'll put you out there, like what's good.
- 12:03SPEAKER_04: But it shouldn't be have to you shouldn't have to rap like the rent do though.
- 12:06SPEAKER_04: Like, I mean you should do it like every day.
- 12:08SPEAKER_04: Like every every time you get in the studio, you should rap.
- 12:11SPEAKER_02: Like you should be passionate about your what you do, and that's why like I don't oversaturate myself.
- 12:17SPEAKER_02: Um, I haven't even put my stuff like on a plat, like a real streaming site.
- 12:21SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm actually we'll talk about that more as we get into it.
- 12:24SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I got that question loaded up.
- 12:25SPEAKER_02: Yes, but I but that's why I go back like every time I do a project, my goal is to come back harder than the last project I did.
- 12:31SPEAKER_02: So, okay, if this one got 200 likes, this next one gotta get 600, this next one gotta get a thousand, this one gotta get, you know, every time it's just doing something different, being more lyrical, and most importantly, just finding a way to tell my story because that's what I feel like God has allowed me to do.
- 12:48SPEAKER_02: You know, like speak, I have a voice, you have a voice, and it can change lives.
- 12:53SPEAKER_04: That's how I feel about this podcast, man.
- 12:55SPEAKER_04: Like, I was born to talk.
- 12:57SPEAKER_04: Like my mom kept telling me I gotta be, she was like, You gotta be a lawyer or something because you talk too much.
- 13:02SPEAKER_04: And then lo and behold, podcasts start coming through.
- 13:04SPEAKER_04: I'm like, this is where I this is where I belong right here.
- 13:07SPEAKER_04: Okay, yeah, for those who remember, this is my third podcast.
- 13:11SPEAKER_04: It's because the first two suck.
- 13:13SPEAKER_04: I got in trouble actually by the first one.
- 13:15SPEAKER_04: The first one, let's just say, views from the sit from the nine, that's what it was called.
- 13:21SPEAKER_04: I got in trouble by somebody in higher authority about that name.
- 13:25SPEAKER_04: So I had to stop it.
- 13:27SPEAKER_04: So I stopped the name, cancelled that podcast, scrapped it, whatever.
- 13:31SPEAKER_04: The second one was cool, but it was just it just wasn't hitting.
- 13:35SPEAKER_04: Hitting like I wanted it to.
- 13:37SPEAKER_04: But then I was just like, you know what, God, what do you want me to do, man?
- 13:40SPEAKER_04: Because like I don't want to give up podcasting.
- 13:43SPEAKER_04: And it woke me up, and I was just like, I hear you.
- 13:46SPEAKER_04: Let's go.
- 13:46SPEAKER_02: Well, you know, they say like you never you don't just succeed the first time, you know, you're gonna fail.
- 13:52SPEAKER_02: Failure is a part of growing.
- 13:53SPEAKER_02: So if I don't fail, then how will I not how will I know what to do next?
- 13:57SPEAKER_02: You know, yeah.
- 13:58SPEAKER_02: That's so that's just it's all about just keep going and keep striving.
- 14:01SPEAKER_02: And even when I first started, like I didn't, I was like, well, I don't know, I didn't really, you know, but I'm like, let me, I'm gonna keep going.
- 14:07SPEAKER_04: You remember your first rap?
- 14:09SPEAKER_02: For sure.
- 14:11SPEAKER_04: Do you need B or you wanna go ahead and spit it right in?
- 14:13SPEAKER_02: I did a uh when I first dropped, I never forget to.
- 14:17SPEAKER_02: I had did a remix to tomorrow and I had like wrapped it to myself.
- 14:22SPEAKER_02: I recorded it and I caught this girl I used to be friends with, and she was like, I know somebody that'll record you today.
- 14:28SPEAKER_02: I'm like, she like you need to rap that, like people be like, you need to do that shit, like put it out.
- 14:34SPEAKER_02: Like I'd be like, no, like I was not confident, but I had what it was scritch money, and it was um, everybody knows scritch, and it was Zion, no, not it was Scritch Money, it was my cut, my little brother Vaughn Cruz, and um my mom and his dad used to be married when we was kids, and they was at the studio, we went to 808, and they was like, you gotta rap it.
- 14:57SPEAKER_02: I was so scared, shaken, like I was so nervous, and he like scritch, like, no, you got that shit.
- 15:02SPEAKER_02: Like, they telling me like rap that shit.
- 15:04SPEAKER_02: 808 had to put the do something to make my voice, he's cold.
- 15:08SPEAKER_02: He had to put my voice like on the back off me recording off my phone.
- 15:11SPEAKER_02: He like, just you know, you got it.
- 15:12SPEAKER_02: They helped me with my eyelids and everything, because I could hear myself, but I didn't really know I could do it, you know.
- 15:19SPEAKER_02: And shit, when you got people that's around you telling you like you can really do that shit, you gotta believe in yourself.
- 15:24SPEAKER_02: Like, oh no, maybe I can really do something like that.
- 15:25SPEAKER_04: Yeah, maybe I could make something shake a little bit.
- 15:28SPEAKER_04: So, like my next question for you though is like when did you realize you actually had it though?
- 15:32SPEAKER_04: Like, when did you like lock into it?
- 15:35SPEAKER_02: So I did a little one mic um after I did that tomorrow.
- 15:39SPEAKER_02: And I did a one mic with Tweezy.
- 15:41SPEAKER_02: I had just my baby, probably was like two, three.
- 15:45SPEAKER_02: It's probably like 2022, 2023.
- 15:48SPEAKER_02: And I had just that was when Lola Brooke came out with that don't play with it, don't play with it.
- 15:51SPEAKER_04: Oh man, dog.
- 15:53SPEAKER_04: She hey, I had Lola.
- 15:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she was the one.
- 15:57SPEAKER_02: I had did a little uh remix to that, and when I remixed it, I posted on Facebook.
- 16:02SPEAKER_02: That's the one they had gone up.
- 16:03SPEAKER_02: I'm like, dang, that's the one I was listening to.
- 16:06SPEAKER_02: Yes, a lady had invited me to do the female takeover.
- 16:08SPEAKER_02: I said her name is Maxine.
- 16:10SPEAKER_02: She had invited me to do the female takeover, and when I tell you I went up there and I wild them people, like this the way they was just rocking with me, like it was like, damn, like they was feeling it, like yeah, they really feeling that.
- 16:21SPEAKER_02: They like shit.
- 16:22SPEAKER_04: They felt that confidence I was telling you about it.
- 16:24SPEAKER_02: And I was talking to them and interacting with them, and they just like they felt it.
- 16:28SPEAKER_02: And I was like, all right, I got a little pitch, but I was still in a transitional point in my life.
- 16:33SPEAKER_02: Like my son was only three, I had baby weight on me.
- 16:36SPEAKER_02: Um, I just had to work on myself.
- 16:38SPEAKER_02: I had just moved back from Indy.
- 16:39SPEAKER_02: My uncle was murdered in 2021.
- 16:42SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 16:42SPEAKER_02: Um so I kind of just like took a little break and stuff.
- 16:45SPEAKER_02: I would rap and do a little stuff, but I really wasn't invested.
- 16:49SPEAKER_02: And then we did cash on.
- 16:52SPEAKER_02: And when I did that, I was like, okay, like, yeah, you got this.
- 16:56SPEAKER_02: Like this ain't even, you ain't even really, you know, the opportunities was just like manifesting towards me, like coming towards me.
- 17:03SPEAKER_02: And me and T Asia got connected when we did that, and then when we shived, and then I seen her start going, we start, it just so many opportunities was coming.
- 17:12SPEAKER_02: Like, God is like, I want this for you.
- 17:14SPEAKER_02: You know, like I want this for you.
- 17:15SPEAKER_02: You have to want it for yourself.
- 17:16SPEAKER_02: I want this for you.
- 17:17SPEAKER_02: You say you want this, I believe in you.
- 17:18SPEAKER_02: Like, he starts showing me, like, you say her name T Asia, right?
- 17:22SPEAKER_04: Why is that?

- 17:56SPEAKER_02: We didn't have no sound check, we didn't nut like that.
- 18:00SPEAKER_02: We just went in there, like we just went for it.
- 18:02SPEAKER_02: Like, we just went for it.
- 18:04SPEAKER_02: And Tia's like, this is the order we gonna do the songs.

- 18:08SPEAKER_02: We cooked some breakfast.
- 18:10SPEAKER_02: Y'all was rolling.
- 18:11SPEAKER_02: We was rolling, like, so it just and then for her to just take off how she taking off and just even being connected and not even knowing that it was gonna even be an alignment like that.

- 19:11SPEAKER_04: I still gotta hit her up.
- 19:12SPEAKER_04: We got work to do.
- 19:14SPEAKER_04: But uh man, I just this hearing you talk about your success so far and your music and how you fell into it, I can see you gonna go really far with it though.
- 19:23SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
- 19:24SPEAKER_04: Like, and everybody in Fort Wayne, if you sleeping, you I'm trying to tell you to wake up because uh It's going.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: It's going.
- 19:32SPEAKER_04: You're gonna you're gonna miss it.
- 19:33SPEAKER_04: And if you rocking with her now, you better stay with her.
- 19:35SPEAKER_04: Hey, it's going.

- 19:50SPEAKER_04: Oh god.
- 19:52SPEAKER_04: Dive a little deeper.
- 19:54SPEAKER_04: Are you single?
- 19:57SPEAKER_04: It's complicated.
- 20:00SPEAKER_02: It's complicated.
- 20:01SPEAKER_02: Um it's just a lot.
- 20:04SPEAKER_02: That's it's just they just gotta stay tuned in.
- 20:06SPEAKER_02: It's it's a lot.
- 20:07SPEAKER_04: You more focused on the music right now.
- 20:09SPEAKER_02: I'm focused on my music right now.
- 20:11SPEAKER_02: Um they just gotta stay tuned in.
- 20:14SPEAKER_04: I have we gonna get any love music or something?
- 20:17SPEAKER_04: Like real?
- 20:17SPEAKER_04: Yeah, of course.
- 20:18SPEAKER_02: They're gonna get a lot of, like I said, they haven't even got a full, like they've only been getting remixes and little verses.
- 20:25SPEAKER_02: They haven't even had like I'm a songwriter too.
- 20:27SPEAKER_02: You know, I don't just rap music, I write songs.
- 20:30SPEAKER_02: I create, you know, I'm a creator.
- 20:31SPEAKER_02: So singing, harmonizing, hooks, um, lyrics, everything, I put it together for sure.
- 20:38SPEAKER_02: And I'm just I have so much that's in store that I've been quiet on the creek, people say, or whatever.
- 20:44SPEAKER_02: Quiet on the creek about I'm just excited to share.
- 20:47SPEAKER_02: So but as far as relationship wise, I'm not looking.
- 20:51SPEAKER_02: I am focused on my music and oh, so she out here.
- 20:55SPEAKER_04: I want God to hide me for the right man.
- 20:57SPEAKER_04: It's too much.
- 20:58SPEAKER_04: I know that's right.
- 20:59SPEAKER_02: I'm tired.
- 21:00SPEAKER_02: Lord.
- 21:00SPEAKER_04: I know that's right.
- 21:01SPEAKER_04: So it's like, um, so basically you don't want nothing to really I'm not say interfere with the music, but like you don't want something to be a hundred percent distraction.
- 21:12SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 21:13SPEAKER_02: Um, and I'm I'm almost 27 years old, I'm pushing 30.
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: I'm not in a yes.
- 21:18SPEAKER_02: I'm almost 27.
- 21:19SPEAKER_02: I'll be 27 in January.
- 21:20SPEAKER_02: Don't look like it.
- 21:21SPEAKER_02: Ain't no cap.
- 21:22SPEAKER_04: Y'all can see this, not capping.
- 21:24SPEAKER_02: But I don't I'm not looking for anything like casual.
- 21:27SPEAKER_02: Um, I need somebody that is a leader, that's handstrong, that respects the the vision that I have and what I'm working towards and who's willing to help provide and who's willing to help see that vision.
- 21:40SPEAKER_02: And I want a partner.
- 21:42SPEAKER_02: I want a real like I want to hug.
- 21:43SPEAKER_02: That's important.
- 21:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't I don't want to waste I've done that already.
- 21:47SPEAKER_02: I've partied, I've dealt with that's I'm not wasting any energy or anything.
- 21:50SPEAKER_02: I'm I am too I'm here now.
- 21:53SPEAKER_02: I'm here now.
- 21:54SPEAKER_04: And that's important too.
- 21:55SPEAKER_04: And this is talking to both y'all.
- 21:56SPEAKER_04: I mean, I don't know what your situation like, but it's like focus on her.
- 22:00SPEAKER_04: Music.
- 22:02SPEAKER_04: But it's like it's like you need to have somebody if you want somebody, like you said, they gotta respect that.
- 22:10SPEAKER_04: And it's really good to have somebody to respect it because they can add on.
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 22:15SPEAKER_04: And I'm I'm me personally, in fact, you can't add on what you're here for.
- 22:19SPEAKER_02: What you here for.
- 22:20SPEAKER_02: So if you don't respect that.
- 22:23SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 22:24SPEAKER_02: Okay for you to use them in a positive way.
- 22:26SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: Okay for me to use you in a positive way.
- 22:29SPEAKER_01: So let's make this shit take.
- 22:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah, absolutely.
- 22:31SPEAKER_04: That's why I don't got that many friends right now.
- 22:32SPEAKER_04: Because it's like all my friends that really was with me, they was like asking for handouts.
- 22:37SPEAKER_04: Can I get these shoes?
- 22:38SPEAKER_04: Because I buy and resell shoes and restore.
- 22:40SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 22:41SPEAKER_04: And so like when they hit me up, like, hey, you got these Georgia, you got these Georgia, I'm like, man, let me put you to work or something.
- 22:47SPEAKER_04: Like what you can make sense.
- 22:49SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 22:50SPEAKER_04: Like, I don't sit here, like, we can be friends one day, but it's just like, I need you, you need, you can't just ride off the success.
- 22:58SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
- 22:58SPEAKER_04: Like, you need to be put to work.
- 23:00SPEAKER_02: Well, you definitely, and you definitely have people that, you know, are not meant to go with you forever.
- 23:04SPEAKER_02: You have people that ride with you for a couple seasons and they might talk about you or have their perception or villainize you or whatever the case may be, but God said this was not your chapter.
- 23:14SPEAKER_02: And then you got people that you know, because I've been doing uh THs, well, Wiseetta, let me stop on this podcast because she cut me out of your but I've been doing Wiseta since I was like 12 or 13 years old.
- 23:23SPEAKER_02: That's a fire name, by the way.
- 23:25SPEAKER_02: Even my real name, but they know who I'm talking about.
- 23:29SPEAKER_02: But anyways, but I've been doing since I was like 12 years old, and then I have another best friend, her name's CC, and we've been locked in since we was like in the sixth grade.
- 23:36SPEAKER_02: Like we I don't I don't want to get a couple, I got a couple of friends, Tara, you know, but I I don't everybody's own, you know, they have their own frequency.
- 23:45SPEAKER_02: You deal with people on their own level.
- 23:48SPEAKER_02: Like I might talk to CC and T Aja every day.
- 23:50SPEAKER_02: I might talk to Tara every couple weeks, you know, but there's a difference.
- 23:53SPEAKER_02: You know, there's definitely a difference.
- 23:55SPEAKER_02: Is it so mad?
- 23:57SPEAKER_02: It's sliding down.
- 23:58SPEAKER_02: It's gone now.
- 23:59SPEAKER_02: Y'all got these titties, y'all know.
- 24:01SPEAKER_04: Y'all got these cities in his ass, they know.
- 24:05SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you good, you good.
- 24:06SPEAKER_04: Well, um, yeah, I see what you're saying.
- 24:09SPEAKER_04: Like, especially you hit like you caught me with that frequency thing right there.
- 24:13SPEAKER_04: Like, if they can't match the energy, then you gotta get a roll.
- 24:18SPEAKER_04: I mean, then your time is up.
- 24:19SPEAKER_02: It's all it's all an experience.
- 24:21SPEAKER_02: You down here, you just experiencing relationships, it's an experience.
- 24:24SPEAKER_02: You know, you're supposed to grow from it.
- 24:26SPEAKER_02: Some of it be permanent and some of it be temporary, but it's all hey, you might your season might be, it's ran its course.
- 24:32SPEAKER_04: And I'm just saying, and that that's leading me to my next question, too, because it's like I see where your mindset is, and I see you really are headstrong in your own lane, too.
- 24:40SPEAKER_04: That's really cool.
- 24:41SPEAKER_04: So, like, where do you see yourself?
- 24:44SPEAKER_04: Excuse me, where do you really see yourself like even in the next year or two?
- 24:51SPEAKER_02: Um well I guess I can go ahead and put this out now.
- 24:56SPEAKER_02: Um, in the next year, so I'm actually gonna be dropping my first EP.
- 25:01SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna be dropping my first EP.
- 25:02SPEAKER_02: Oh, that was my next question, too.
- 25:05SPEAKER_02: Um I'm thinking Scorpio season in October in between Libra and Scorpio.
- 25:10SPEAKER_02: So I just they gotta stay tuned in.
- 25:12SPEAKER_02: That's why I can't tell y'all too much.
- 25:14SPEAKER_02: Y'all wanna know about love and all that?
- 25:15SPEAKER_02: Just listen to the music, okay?
- 25:18SPEAKER_04: Listen to the music, give us a little story.
- 25:20SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 25:21SPEAKER_02: Um, but I uh more so I just see myself like I did that went legit last year, and I would say when in 2026 I was going legit, and I meant that.
- 25:31SPEAKER_02: So I I want my music to be legit.
- 25:34SPEAKER_02: I want to be able to be streamed on all platforms, I want to be making money, um, building my brand, um, and really just getting it off the floor, like I said, and as far as I do I plan on starting school, I'm thinking probably next year, coming into the year.
- 25:50SPEAKER_02: I want to go for behavioral studies.
- 25:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah, behavioral studies.
- 25:53SPEAKER_02: I like working with people that have um mental intellectual disabilities.
- 25:56SPEAKER_02: I've always done that.
- 25:58SPEAKER_02: Um I can be in like a BC or a therapist or a case manager.
- 26:02SPEAKER_02: So music is like again, that's out the way, you know what I'm saying?
- 26:06SPEAKER_02: But like Jada, I see myself graduating from college, I see myself my music making money for itself and residual income, and um I don't know.
- 26:17SPEAKER_02: I just like to trust God and God, He's gonna be the same today, tomorrow, and yesterday.
- 26:22SPEAKER_02: So I didn't wake up.
- 26:23SPEAKER_04: All right, I I hear you, I see you.
- 26:25SPEAKER_02: I just wake up, whatever he's saying, because you can have a plan and he be like, girl, that is not the plan, okay?
- 26:29SPEAKER_02: You be like, I'm doing this, this guy be like, No, you ain't.
- 26:32SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 26:33SPEAKER_02: You just hey, you gotta faith.
- 26:35SPEAKER_02: You gotta wake up and trust the divine every day because you don't you can have a million plans.
- 26:39SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 26:40SPEAKER_02: Okay?
- 26:40SPEAKER_04: Well, I like that's what I like to hear, man.
- 26:42SPEAKER_04: We're gonna take a quick five-minute break.
- 26:44SPEAKER_04: Yeah, uh, then we're gonna get right back to it.
- 26:46SPEAKER_04: Is that cool?
- 26:47SPEAKER_04: Okay, take a five minute.
- 26:48SPEAKER_04: Yeah, hey, we'll be right back.
- 26:51SPEAKER_04: All right, y'all.
- 26:52SPEAKER_04: We're back again.
- 26:54SPEAKER_04: If you wanna go ahead and check out some of that podcast, we're gonna try to get Patreon up and running.
- 27:00SPEAKER_04: If not, you know, we're just gonna go ahead and throw this whole thing on the on the podcast itself on Spotify and all stream platforms.
- 27:06SPEAKER_04: We're just testing the waters for something new.
- 27:08SPEAKER_04: But anyway, we back with Out the Way J.
- 27:11SPEAKER_04: And she is doing phenomenal on this podcast.
- 27:14SPEAKER_04: You like, is this your first one?
- 27:16SPEAKER_02: Yes, this is my first time being on the podcast.
- 27:18SPEAKER_04: Man, you flowing on this, but like you I'm I'm just answering it.
- 27:22SPEAKER_00: You making me feel good, yeah.
- 27:26SPEAKER_04: So I wanted to hit you with some more deeper questions because I want to like open you up a little bit, you know.
- 27:33SPEAKER_04: Like, you know, it's good for the world to bond with you, even if it's through camera.
- 27:39SPEAKER_04: So one of my questions is what's your what's one of your biggest fears when it comes to the future?
- 27:50SPEAKER_02: What is one of my biggest fears when it comes to my future?
- 27:58SPEAKER_04: If you wanna if you want to pass, we can, but it's just I'm not a fearful person.
- 28:03SPEAKER_02: Like, so to say, like, to have a fear, fear is a low vibration.
- 28:07SPEAKER_02: Um, I don't nothing.
- 28:12SPEAKER_02: How can I how can I fear anything when I got God?
- 28:15SPEAKER_04: Like, he's with me, so what Bro, did y'all hear what she just said?
- 28:20SPEAKER_04: Say that one more time.
- 28:21SPEAKER_04: Why?
- 28:21SPEAKER_02: God is with me, who can be against me?
- 28:23SPEAKER_02: So I don't I don't have no fears.
- 28:25SPEAKER_02: I fear nothing.
- 28:26SPEAKER_04: And that's one thing that's one thing I'm gonna say right now.
- 28:29SPEAKER_04: I don't I don't I'm gonna talk about God on this podcast.
- 28:33SPEAKER_02: Like, you're not gonna stop me from saying anything in my life.
- 28:36SPEAKER_02: It's all because of him.
- 28:37SPEAKER_02: No matter how I look, how people think, they perceptions, it's all because of him.
- 28:42SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 28:43SPEAKER_04: People don't recognize that, but hey, I'm here to help you recognize.
- 28:46SPEAKER_04: So another question that I have for you is what does happiness actually look like for you right now?
- 28:54SPEAKER_02: Happiness right now looks like peace.
- 28:58SPEAKER_02: Um, I just want genuine people around me.
- 29:02SPEAKER_02: I just want peace.
- 29:03SPEAKER_02: I want financial stability, financial security, I want just healthy relationships and to just focus on my music.
- 29:13SPEAKER_02: Really, I'm just at a point right now where everything is just about my brand, my music, my platforms, and getting my message out there.
- 29:22SPEAKER_04: So how do your parents feel about your music?
- 29:24SPEAKER_02: My mom, she's he, for sure.
- 29:28SPEAKER_02: My dad is like, my dad is a a realist.
- 29:32SPEAKER_02: My dad is very like down to earth.
- 29:34SPEAKER_02: A lot of people know my dad too.
- 29:35SPEAKER_02: Uh uh.
- 29:36SPEAKER_02: But uh my dad is like really down to earth.
- 29:39SPEAKER_02: So he he supports it.
- 29:41SPEAKER_02: He's like, he likes that I'm vocal, he likes that I rap about real life.
- 29:47SPEAKER_02: You express yourself.
- 29:48SPEAKER_02: I express myself.
- 29:49SPEAKER_02: But he's definitely has um he like get your backup plan.
- 29:53SPEAKER_02: And that's where I was telling you, even about behavioral studies coming in, because he like in real life, you know, outside of that, what else you gonna do?
- 30:00SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 30:01SPEAKER_02: So the more I rap and the more he sees, he like, dang, I think he's gonna be.
- 30:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I even think he's starting that because people be like, yo dad, show me.
- 30:11SPEAKER_02: Or when I did the white room, my dad was like, I'm like, yeah, yeah.
- 30:15SPEAKER_02: I be having to put show him something like that.
- 30:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah, come on now.
- 30:18SPEAKER_02: You ain't gonna be saying that when you're driving that Lambo truck, and I'm putting it on you.
- 30:22SPEAKER_04: Hey, the Lambo truck though, I got to say the muffin right now.
- 30:28SPEAKER_02: You know?
- 30:28SPEAKER_04: Like I'm really about that.
- 30:30SPEAKER_04: That's uh Hello.
- 30:32SPEAKER_04: I'm not afraid to say, like, I wanna be wealthy.
- 30:35SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I wanna be rich.
- 30:36SPEAKER_02: It's already happening.
- 30:37SPEAKER_02: We're not even gonna say wanna be, it's here.
- 30:39SPEAKER_02: Like we just haven't people don't understand, it's already written.
- 30:41SPEAKER_02: You just we haven't even we just gotta step into it, you know.
- 30:44SPEAKER_02: It's it's gonna come.
- 30:45SPEAKER_04: I'm already in my millionaire season.
- 30:47SPEAKER_04: Hello.
- 30:47SPEAKER_04: I'm trying to let you know because people people um they look at you sideways.
- 30:52SPEAKER_02: I need to generation a wealth.
- 30:54SPEAKER_04: Bro, I'm sorry.
- 30:55SPEAKER_02: My dad, like I tell him, he'll he'll figure it out when that when them them stacks coming in.
- 31:00SPEAKER_02: He gonna know.
- 31:01SPEAKER_04: And that's one thing that um because I I I dip in the Bible from time to time and I saw some, it's literally instructions on how to make money and be successful in the Bible.
- 31:10SPEAKER_04: And it literally said, I don't I forgot the whole name and everything, but it literally said in the Bible, lazy hands don't make money pretty much.
- 31:20SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 31:20SPEAKER_02: You have to tie your camel.
- 31:21SPEAKER_02: Like that's what they say, faith without work is dead.
- 31:23SPEAKER_02: So I can't pray, pray, pray and have all the faith, faith, faith.
- 31:26SPEAKER_02: But if I don't get out there and put it in the work in the work, then okay, then you don't eat.
- 31:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah, God, like I gave the opportunity.
- 31:32SPEAKER_02: Just like that story when they was saying um this man, I don't know if you ever heard this story.
- 31:36SPEAKER_02: It was like this man, it was a flood, and the man was sitting on top of his house and he was like, a boat came by.
- 31:40SPEAKER_02: They was like, Come on, get on this rope, get on the boat.
- 31:41SPEAKER_02: He was like, No, God gonna save me.
- 31:43SPEAKER_02: A helicopter came by.
- 31:44SPEAKER_02: He was like, get on the helicopter.
- 31:45SPEAKER_02: He was like, No, God gonna save me.
- 31:47SPEAKER_02: And the man was like, get on this truck, no, God gonna save me.
- 31:50SPEAKER_02: So he died, and God he went to heaven, he was like, God, why you ain't saved me?
- 31:53SPEAKER_02: God was like, I sent you a helicopter.
- 31:55SPEAKER_02: I sent you everything.
- 31:56SPEAKER_02: I sent you a boat, I sent you a rap like, what you mean?
- 32:00SPEAKER_02: I saved you.
- 32:01SPEAKER_02: You ain't saved yourself.
- 32:02SPEAKER_02: It's like you gotta God be like, What you gonna do too?
- 32:04SPEAKER_02: God wanna see you do something too.

- 34:15SPEAKER_02: Wait, let me see your pork.
- 34:17SPEAKER_02: Nigga, I don't eat no pork.
- 34:18SPEAKER_02: When I ain't had nobody, I was talking to the Lord.

- 34:27SPEAKER_04: For the next three and a half months?
- 34:29SPEAKER_04: Beef.
- 34:30SPEAKER_04: Really?
- 34:31SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 34:32SPEAKER_04: The US just approved uh some poisonous beef to the station.
- 34:37SPEAKER_02: I'm tired of these people putting chemicals in our food.
- 34:39SPEAKER_04: Man, that's why I'm over here just like, man, I can't even trust the water.
- 34:46SPEAKER_02: You can't trust nobody or nothing.
- 34:47SPEAKER_02: Now that this is the one that's all right.
- 34:49SPEAKER_04: But you said beef sauce.
- 34:50SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna have to try that.
- 34:50SPEAKER_02: What?
- 34:51SPEAKER_02: Beef smoked sausage, little eckridge?
- 34:54SPEAKER_02: Bomb.
- 34:54SPEAKER_02: You gotta use it in your cabbage.
- 34:56SPEAKER_02: What?
- 34:56SPEAKER_02: You gotta it hit different.
- 34:58SPEAKER_04: Oh man, but you put me on game.
- 35:00SPEAKER_02: I might actually have to try that.
- 35:01SPEAKER_02: Beef bacon is bomb.
- 35:02SPEAKER_02: It's expensive though.
- 35:03SPEAKER_04: Oh yeah, it is expensive.
- 35:04SPEAKER_02: I don't like turkey bacon.
- 35:05SPEAKER_02: It gotta be turkey bacon gotta be like cooked right for me.

- 35:09SPEAKER_02: Like you can't.
- 35:10SPEAKER_04: I had some where it was like truck tired tough, bro.
- 35:12SPEAKER_04: Fuck no.
- 35:13SPEAKER_04: I was good.
- 35:15SPEAKER_04: You're right.
- 35:15SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 35:16SPEAKER_04: So uh next question.
- 35:18SPEAKER_04: What's your biggest pet peeve?
- 35:20SPEAKER_02: My biggest pet peeve.
- 35:26SPEAKER_02: My biggest pet peeve.
- 35:31SPEAKER_02: I would say probably be like, I don't know, I just want somebody around me that's genuine.
- 35:37SPEAKER_02: Like being genuine, keeping God first, being genuine.
- 35:41SPEAKER_02: Like I don't want nothing around me that's just not genuine.
- 35:44SPEAKER_04: That fake stuff.
- 35:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't want nothing that's like if you're not, I don't want you loyal to a fault, I don't want you, I don't want none of that.
- 35:51SPEAKER_02: Like, and once I peep that, I'ma deal with you here come out the way.
- 35:55SPEAKER_02: I'ma deal with you accordingly.
- 35:57SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 35:58SPEAKER_02: So it's just like I but I'ma always come in knowing that I did my part and that I I was transparent, I was honest, I was this, or I was you know what I mean?
- 36:10SPEAKER_02: So all you can do is just be a good person from your end.
- 36:13SPEAKER_02: You can't, I learned that you can't expect yourself out of others.
- 36:18SPEAKER_04: Man, like this is me.
- 36:21SPEAKER_04: Like, I'm a little toxic, I ain't gonna lie to you.
- 36:24SPEAKER_04: Like, it's a little bit sign.
- 36:27SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 36:28SPEAKER_04: When's your birthday?
- 36:28SPEAKER_04: Look, I'm gonna be real with you.
- 36:30SPEAKER_04: I don't know anything about these signs.
- 36:31SPEAKER_04: I don't know nothing about Jesus.
- 36:32SPEAKER_02: Big Jesus.
- 36:33SPEAKER_02: And I love I do I love Jesus Christ.
- 36:35SPEAKER_02: Don't get it twisted now, hold on.
- 36:37SPEAKER_02: But I do like sometimes like learning about I like astrology.
- 36:40SPEAKER_02: I like astrology.
- 36:40SPEAKER_02: August 18th.
- 36:42SPEAKER_02: August 18th.
- 36:42SPEAKER_02: I think that's Lee.
- 36:43SPEAKER_02: I think that's Lee.
- 36:44SPEAKER_04: That's exactly what somebody said.
- 36:46SPEAKER_04: Leo.
- 36:46SPEAKER_04: Yep.
- 36:46SPEAKER_02: That's Leo, hey, fire sign.
- 36:48SPEAKER_04: Am I good?
- 36:50SPEAKER_02: Hey, Leo's.
- 36:51SPEAKER_02: They're Leos are um a little cocky, a little confident.
- 36:55SPEAKER_02: But they're Leo's got big hearts.
- 36:57SPEAKER_02: My son's daddy, my first my son's dad is my baby daddy, but he's a Leo.
- 37:02SPEAKER_04: I can't say I'm very loyal.
- 37:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they be loyal, they be baby givers.
- 37:08SPEAKER_04: I don't know if I'm really cocky or not.
- 37:10SPEAKER_04: Only someone else can tell me.
- 37:12SPEAKER_04: Like, I uh you can I'm confident.
- 37:14SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I'm very confident, but I'm like if I'm like that, I'm gonna tell you.
- 37:19SPEAKER_04: I'm like that, but I'm never just gonna be the first one, you know, to put it be out there like that.
- 37:26SPEAKER_04: That's just me.
- 37:26SPEAKER_04: That's just me though, you know.
- 37:28SPEAKER_04: Like I like Leo's though.
- 37:31SPEAKER_01: I get along good with Leo's.
- 37:33SPEAKER_01: I I feel like we get along good right now.
- 37:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, I be I vibe.
- 37:37SPEAKER_04: What's your biggest red flag?
- 37:39SPEAKER_01: Inconsistency.
- 37:40SPEAKER_02: I hate a nigga that's inconsistent.
- 37:43SPEAKER_02: Men are so inconsistent nowadays, like the inconsistencies is what's telling them.
- 37:50SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 37:51SPEAKER_02: So I'm big on patterns.
- 37:52SPEAKER_02: Like, you tell me this, but you do that.
- 37:54SPEAKER_02: You tell me this, but you do that, you say this, but you do that.
- 37:57SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 37:58SPEAKER_02: I'm big on like patterns, inconsistency, empty promises.
- 38:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, for sure.
- 38:04SPEAKER_02: Don't if I'm not gonna sugarcoat it.
- 38:06SPEAKER_02: It is what it is and it ain't what it ain't.
- 38:07SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 38:08SPEAKER_02: And let me know that.
- 38:09SPEAKER_02: Like, and that's been a problem a lot, especially if we talk about dating and men and stuff like that.
- 38:14SPEAKER_02: Um, these men be inc they be inconsistent.
- 38:16SPEAKER_04: Is that what you ran into a lot when you was dating?
- 38:20SPEAKER_02: I just ran into p picking the wrong type of men.
- 38:23SPEAKER_02: Uh you just ran into me.
- 38:25SPEAKER_02: We're gonna be real.
- 38:26SPEAKER_02: I mean, you ran into picking the wrong type of men.
- 38:28SPEAKER_02: You be interested in the men that be popular.
- 38:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 38:31SPEAKER_02: You got this name, and then these men that wear that mask, and once that mask falls off, they be.
- 38:37SPEAKER_04: What's your type?
- 38:39SPEAKER_02: Right now, in the season that I'm in, my type is a God-fearing man.
- 38:45SPEAKER_02: My type is a man that can be a role model to my son.
- 38:49SPEAKER_02: My type is a man that believes in the Lord.
- 38:54SPEAKER_02: My type is a man that is a provider, a protector, a prayer warrior.
- 38:59SPEAKER_02: And if you ain't doing none of that, then you ain't doing nothing for me that I can't do for myself.
- 39:05SPEAKER_02: So that's where I'm at with it.
- 39:07SPEAKER_02: I pay these bills, I got this, I take care of this kid.
- 39:09SPEAKER_02: No, uh-uh.
- 39:10SPEAKER_02: I'm you better get over here and add to this pot.
- 39:14SPEAKER_02: So it's either, hey, if I'm gonna be putting it out, if I'm putting it out, then we banking together.
- 39:18SPEAKER_02: But you know, I mean, I'm just saying you could be banking somewhere, like, oh, I'm banking, banking, banking.
- 39:23SPEAKER_02: I mean you ain't you ain't I shouldn't be putting it out.
- 39:25SPEAKER_02: But if I'm putting it out, nigga, you better be over here and be invested.
- 39:28SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 39:28SPEAKER_04: And that's kind of where so now this is a trending question.
- 39:33SPEAKER_04: Like, I was gonna try to end this mug, uh, but this is a trending question.
- 39:38SPEAKER_04: Now, do you want to get married?
- 39:41SPEAKER_04: Yes or no?
- 39:42SPEAKER_02: Of course.
- 39:42SPEAKER_04: Okay, with that being said, do you feel like marriage is teamwork?
- 39:47SPEAKER_04: Or do you feel like it's we just together but we hold it down on our own?
- 39:52SPEAKER_02: No, and that's kind of the problem, like too nowadays.
- 39:55SPEAKER_02: Everybody's so selfish.
- 39:57SPEAKER_02: Um, love is sacrifice.
- 39:58SPEAKER_02: You know, you gonna you gonna sacrifice that.
- 40:00SPEAKER_04: Thank you for saying that.
- 40:02SPEAKER_02: You gon you might want to buy yourself a new jaguar, but you be like, okay, well, my wife needs, you know, that's just not the reality of the situation, but you know that good things come because God is covenant.
- 40:14SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 40:14SPEAKER_02: So you know that good things come back like from that.
- 40:17SPEAKER_02: Of course I want to get married.
- 40:18SPEAKER_02: I wanna be, I'm I'm wife-coated.
- 40:19SPEAKER_02: I want to cook for the same man every day, I want to clean up my house for the same man, I want to have kids by the same man, I want to be married today, I want to sleep with the same man every night, of course.
- 40:28SPEAKER_04: And I don't think I want to be in love.
- 40:30SPEAKER_02: I don't want to be, I don't want to be spread things for sure.
- 40:32SPEAKER_02: That's not mine.
- 40:33SPEAKER_02: That's not my I've done that in my life already, and I don't like that's not it.
- 40:39SPEAKER_04: Because like I don't think marriage is 50-50 either.
- 40:42SPEAKER_04: I think it's a hundred-a hundred.
- 40:43SPEAKER_02: Hey, and I think that I do think that men have to, well, women too, but especially like there has to be a balance.
- 40:51SPEAKER_02: Like, okay, if my man is the provider and he pays all these bills, then he should come home to a clean house every single day, kids fed every single day.
- 40:59SPEAKER_03: Nothing wrong with that.
- 41:00SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying, if that's the situation, but if your woman is 50-50, then nigga, sometimes some next sheets might be dirty.
- 41:05SPEAKER_02: Sometimes, if you know what I'm saying, this rent still, I still gotta go to work.
- 41:08SPEAKER_02: I still gotta take care of these kids.
- 41:09SPEAKER_02: I still gotta cook.
- 41:10SPEAKER_02: Like, you can't, you have to, it's again, we go back to what I said, balance.
- 41:14SPEAKER_02: So it's like, you gotta pick your struggle.
- 41:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because you gotta pick your struggle.
- 41:18SPEAKER_02: Like you, these men, you they want a lot.
- 41:20SPEAKER_02: They want you to go 50-50 on bills and cook and clean and put out and mother and hold on, wait a minute, nigga.
- 41:27SPEAKER_02: I can go somewhere else and get a little assistant to take this by myself.
- 41:30SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 41:31SPEAKER_02: You gotta be realistic.
- 41:32SPEAKER_02: So it's like, you put put me in a position to win.
- 41:35SPEAKER_02: I want a man that can, I'm gonna put myself in a position to win, but you might but put me in a position to win because just like Gucci Man, he said, I gave Kishi Korea and she flipped that for her, man.
- 41:45SPEAKER_02: Like, that's the type of thing.
- 41:46SPEAKER_04: That was some real.
- 41:46SPEAKER_04: That's the type of thing.
- 41:47SPEAKER_02: I need I need him to be like, damn, okay, I'm gonna invest in you right now because I see you got this vision and it's going, and I know that this can bring me generational wealth in the end.
- 41:57SPEAKER_02: Like, man, I might have, let's hypothetically speaking, you might deal with a scammer, or I'm just keeping it real.
- 42:03SPEAKER_02: You might be with a scammer or a dope boy or something.
- 42:05SPEAKER_02: He might get quick money, it might be instant.
- 42:06SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 42:07SPEAKER_02: It might be right now, nigga.
- 42:09SPEAKER_02: But this long term, and so you you gotta see the vision, and vice versa.
- 42:13SPEAKER_02: Sometimes you a woman might have her bag up before a man that you deal with have his bag up, and he might have a vision that take care of y'all for the rest of your life.
- 42:21SPEAKER_02: You gotta be willing to invest in your nigga too.
- 42:23SPEAKER_02: Like, it gotta go both ways.
- 42:25SPEAKER_04: Hey, one thing I do want to throw out there though, and this is not I'm not throwing this at you.
- 42:30SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna say this to all the ladies out there.
- 42:33SPEAKER_04: Don't be scared to get you a nerd, bro.
- 42:35SPEAKER_04: Okay, don't be scared, don't be scared to get you a week.
- 42:38SPEAKER_00: I'm a whoever treating it right.
- 42:40SPEAKER_04: Hey, a nerd to get a nerd to get to that money, he he he won't cheat on you, he won't do nothing to you, crazy, because he knows he got one.
- 42:48SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you know, and he'll stay loyal to you, you stay at home, do what you gotta do what you gotta do.
- 42:52SPEAKER_02: Because the niggas that's outside, they don't want to be a good thing.
- 42:55SPEAKER_02: For the streets, boy, for the streets.
- 42:56SPEAKER_02: You gotta throw them niggas back out there.
- 42:57SPEAKER_02: Hello.
- 42:58SPEAKER_02: And some be it sometimes you can wanna keep a person and they just don't want to be kept.
- 43:04SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 43:04SPEAKER_02: And they just may not like the idea of you being with somebody else, but they some people just are for themselves.
- 43:12SPEAKER_02: Some people just don't want hey, you gotta know what you want.
- 43:16SPEAKER_04: Well, that it's well spoken because honestly, I'm I I'm personally tired of seeing men catching like it's our fault though.
- 43:25SPEAKER_04: Like it's the dudes' fault.
- 43:26SPEAKER_04: Like, I watch it, paying attention.
- 43:29SPEAKER_04: I was like, you're doing it to yourself.
- 43:31SPEAKER_02: Well they they just they wear their mask.
- 43:33SPEAKER_02: They en well one thing about men, they like the chase.
- 43:35SPEAKER_02: So once they get the chase, they wear the little mask, they do what they they get comfortable.
- 43:39SPEAKER_02: We all get comfortable.
- 43:40SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 43:41SPEAKER_02: As humans, we all get comfortable, but they get comfortable, they fight they don't have to do what it they did to get you, to keep you.
- 43:46SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 43:47SPEAKER_02: That's just and that's a man but a man is a pursuer.
- 43:50SPEAKER_02: I don't care what anybody says, it's it's biblical.
- 43:52SPEAKER_02: It's in the a a man is a provider, a protector, he is a pursuer.
- 43:55SPEAKER_02: The when a man finds a wife, he finds it a good thing.
- 43:58SPEAKER_02: It's so you have to Hey, that's all I can say.
- 44:02SPEAKER_04: So, one more question before we uh go ahead and wrap it up.
- 44:05SPEAKER_04: So, what is one thing you'll never ever apologize for?
- 44:10SPEAKER_02: Being myself.
- 44:12SPEAKER_02: I'll never apologize for being myself.
- 44:14SPEAKER_02: Um I won't.
- 44:16SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna be authentic, I'm gonna be myself.
- 44:18SPEAKER_02: Um I'm never gonna apologize for being myself.
- 44:22SPEAKER_02: If you if myself bothers you, then you not my frequency.
- 44:28SPEAKER_04: God dang.
- 44:30SPEAKER_04: I wish I would have met you a long time ago.
- 44:34SPEAKER_04: Man, I wish I would have met you a long time ago.
- 44:37SPEAKER_02: I would never apologize for being myself.
- 44:39SPEAKER_04: Well, Miss Altaway J, I appreciate you for being on this podcast.
- 44:44SPEAKER_04: We got a closing question.
- 44:45SPEAKER_04: I want you to look at that camera when I ask you too, right?
- 44:48SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 44:49SPEAKER_04: So if somebody's watching this and they're growing going through something right now, and they feel like they're behind in life, they're not making it, the numbers aren't hitting, what do you got?
- 45:00SPEAKER_04: What do you want to tell them?
- 45:05SPEAKER_02: Pray.
- 45:06SPEAKER_02: I would first start off by saying, pray.
- 45:09SPEAKER_02: See God, Jesus, whatever your niche is, because we all got our own ways, our own cultures, but um pray, you know, and keep going.
- 45:21SPEAKER_02: Because don't compare yourself to others, don't look at other people and be like, well, she doing this, so I should be doing that.
- 45:26SPEAKER_02: No, you supposed to be doing exactly what you supposed to be doing in divine timing.
- 45:30SPEAKER_02: Um just keep going.
- 45:32SPEAKER_02: Like it don't matter.
- 45:33SPEAKER_02: Keep eventually the right people will latch on to you, the right people will notice you.
- 45:39SPEAKER_02: Like, don't compare yourself to others, be yourself, be your own person.
- 45:43SPEAKER_02: And the more authentic you be, the more stuff you're gonna attract.
- 45:46SPEAKER_02: And yeah, I would just tell them to pray and get they zen, get right with that guy, and keep going.
- 45:54SPEAKER_04: Well, I appreciate you.
- 45:56SPEAKER_04: That was the realest, that was the realest it's gonna get.
- 45:59SPEAKER_04: And uh whatever you take it if you won't take it.
