A 29-year-old man in Wautoma is facing felony child abuse charges after a five-month-old baby suffered life-threatening injuries believed to be from physical abuse. The infant, found spitting up blood and unable to eat, was rushed to a children’s hospital where doctors confirmed severe trauma. The baby’s mother reported discovering the child bleeding after being left alone with Polvi, who was already on probation for reckless endangerment.
