- Roc: What's going on everyone? Welcome back to the show. Drew Swap Podcast. I'm Rocco. We got Christian. It's a Thursday morning pod for you guys. We're gonna do a little breakdown of Thursday night football, obviously, tonight's game. And then we're gonna go into the Sunday slate, talk about five or six matchups that we find interesting or think are important, we wanna talk about. And then we got a nice little segment of trivia, you'll see, little little segment of fun segment for the the ender for the podcast. you guys enjoy it and let's get into it. Starting off, we got tonight's game, Thursday night football, Falcons at Packers. Packers favored it by five and a half and over under forty two and a half. Dub, what are you thinking? C-Dub: Rocco, question for you. What was that original line before any of this, before Penix was involved, before anything really happened? Roc: I mean when you had Cooper Rush and Strand as Q B play for the Falcons, I'd wanna say it's probably around seven and a half, eight, maybe for the Packers favorite. C-Dub: That line was seven. And Roc: Seven. C-Dub: I'll start it off here with maybe a scolding hot take, I'm not sure. I don't I don't really know. but is Penix a one and a half point kind of guy? Will he move the line that much in your opinion? Roc: I don't even know if the question is i is Penix a one and a half guy. It's just are those other quarterbacks that bad to the point where are they NFL guys? That's I think the real question. Is Cooper Rush and Strand NFL quarterback play? And I don't think so. So C-Dub: I Roc: I I think it's honestly it's it's a reasonable one and a half point swing bringing Penix back. I mean, he's talented. He can he can ball. Heisman finalist, top ten pick. Falcons drafted him what two years ago at the number eight overall pick. His biggest question was always just can he stay healthy? He had two s knee surgeries back in college. And of course, tears his ACL again right when he gets into the league. So hopefully he can stay upright. But I mean, he has talent. He throws a pretty ball. He has a big arm. C-Dub: Yeah. Yeah. I agree. It's just that inconsistency of his health and all that. I mean, I think one and a half points is I I I I think it's reasonable, but it might be a lot. I I in my opinion it might be a little a little a little much and just seeing how underutilized those receivers have been. Again, it might be chalked up to the poor quarterback play. And I I I saw somewhere about their QBR and all that, how bad it's been. And I get that. I do get that. But at the end of the day, seven is a lot. And I I don't know how you I don't know how you I don't know how you don't take the Packers here. i like with that spread. Roc: To emphasize though how bad how bad the Falcons quarterback play has been, their QBR is lower than if you just snapped the ball and spiked it on every single play. It is C-Dub: Yeah, I just hope this unlocks Bijan. I that's what I hope. Like, I mean Roc: Yeah, I saw. C-Dub: I I pray. I pray to the football gods. Roc: We talked about in the last episode. The Falcons have weapons. Bijan Pitts, London, Branch. I mean, they have offensive playmakers and it's it sucks that you can't watch them be full form or even see half them get involved because they just have had such bad quarterback play. So hopefully it opens up and we have a fun Thursday night game. I don't know. C-Dub: I hope and pray. I got a new segment. I love doing segments, as you know. If you if you if you listen to the first one, we're we're just we're just testing some out here. New segment Christian should be checked into a mental hospital. that is I adore Kyle Pitts over three and a half receptions. I think he has two Roc: dub, I'm in locks up with you. C-Dub: I think he has two two receptions this entire year. I just Roc: That's not ridiculous. C-Dub: I know I know he I know how bad it's been. I I know how inconsistent he's been his entire tenure in the NFL. I'm just I just love that line. I mean with Penix, I know I know I was just hating on a one and a half point guy, but I think he'll get the rock to those boys. Roc: I I want to say p Kyle Pitts. I mean, everyone knows the meme about him, the fantasy football darling of the offseason every year. How how Kyle Pitts looks at me in the first round, that meme going around. He he comes into the league, fourth overall pick out of Florida. Dude puts up one K receiving yards as tight end first year. Baller. And then since then it's just been down, down, down, down. I I'm a huge fan of Kyle Pitts and I I love the three and a half line. I love his receptions also, dub. And I think that they're gonna make it a point of emphasis to get him the ball and to get their playmakers the ball, whether it's quick quick passes, quick game, and then take a few shots to London over the top. But I I I love that play by you with Kyle Pitts. And yeah, he C-Dub: Yeah. I love it. I love it. Roc: he has he has one catch in two games so far. And I don't know if if C-Dub: One catch. I said two. I gave him too much credit. Roc: he has one catch in two games so far. And again, we we talked about it like not many people have been watching Falcons football because both games have been boring and just not not good. Brand of football. But C-Dub: Not good. Roc: if you're watching, he had a few plays in the Steelers game where Cooper Rush just missed him completely and he would have had like a sixty yard touchdown, wide open, over the middle of the field, and he just overthrows him by ten, fifteen yards. So I I don't hate that play. C-Dub: I I wanna I wanna see him do better. I wanna see him do better. I also Green Bay's pass defense ha it they don't have a body of work yet with who they've played to really really give me any way to trust them. I know I've been look I looked at them before this just to try and get some stats on like why I love this Pitts play so much to try to understand myself. Again, mental hospital. other than the Van Nesh guy Van Ness on their la their pass rusher, I mean Roc: Yeah. Lucas Venus. C-Dub: There's not much else that they have that I think can I hopefully stop Penix from getting the ball to one of his better receivers. Roc: We we said it before, ever since Micah went down with the ACL last year, they were they were 0 and six up until last week against the Jets. They're one and six since he went down. They're just C-Dub: Yeah. Yep. Roc: not creating any pass rush. They got rid of Rashad Gary. you said Lucas Van Esse is the only reliable, I guess, threat on the defensive line. C-Dub: He's the only guy that I saw I like the only name that I saw that jumped out from the stats to stats to me. Roc: No, yeah, and i again, we we said since Parsons went down, they just haven't been able to create a pass rush and you could you could see it's just it hasn't it hasn't been pretty and they've C-Dub: Has not Roc: been losing games that they shouldn't have been losing and they just can't they just don't look smooth like at all anywhere from offense to defense right now. It just looks all cluttered, like their offense is way too talented to be putting up barely twenty points in overtime against the Jets. And I don't know. Their defense is their their pass rush hasn't been great. C-Dub: But let me bounce off that to another mental ho mental hospital kind of take. another play that I love here. I'm still letting it marinate. I like Bijan's under yards, rush yards. Under rush yards. I'm not Roc: Under rush yards. C-Dub: sure what the line is. I didn't I didn't write it down. That's on me. But they held Brees Hall to that, like, and we talked about how the Jets have really improved that offensive line and have some weapons. We talked about that. And they're they're your team that's gonna be that you said would be sneaky during the off season. I mean, that's the only stat I really have, like how they held Brees. I mean, but like I I like his under I'm not I I but I do like his like rushing and receiving combined. His total yards, I like Roc: Total yards. C-Dub: that, but I'm I'm not ready. I th I don't I didn't write it down, that's on me, but like I saw the line, I'm like, after what they did last last game, I mean, how can we how can we be sure that Bijan doesn't Bijan hits that That yardage mark. Roc: confident play. Yeah. I to go off that kinda you said that you love the the pits receptions. I like Bijan four four plus receptions in this game. I think that's gonna be one of my plays that I give out tomorrow. exactly what we said, I think we're gonna want to get they're gonna want to get Penix in a little groove. They wanna get him get the ball out of his hand quickly, a little dump off. Bijan's so explosive and so dynamic that a screenplay you could pop for eighty yard touchdown, just like that. We've seen it multiple times throughout his career, so I don't mind the C-Dub: Multiple. Roc: the four plus receptions from Bijan. And just getting the ball out quickly. Don't don't have Penix take any hits. Don't have don't have him have to think too much. Just get the ball out to your playmakers. So I think that's that's a play I'm gonna probably be giving out tomorrow. Probably gonna be leaning on is Bijan receptions. And then another one that I liked going on the Packers side of things is Christian Watson, fifty plus receiving yards. He's explosive. C-Dub: Love that. Roc: He's the most explosive guy that they have on that. that offense, him and Matthew Golden, and he's been Jordan Love's guy for the past two years since he's gotten the league, ever since Tucker Kraft went down with the the ACL last year. They 'cause Tucker Kraft was his his blanket. He he would go to him like no man. He would just go to him no matter what. So I I like Christian Watson fifty plus receiving yards tomorrow. And I think they're gonna take take some shots, try and take the top off the defense and I think that's a that's a play I'm gonna give out. C-Dub: I found Bijan's rush yards. it's at seventy seven and a half. And he's averaged that from the first two games. Seventy seven and a half exactly. as you kinda said, I do think they're gonna try and wanna get Penix warmed up. I mean they have to get better QB play if they want to be competitive in these games. I think I think that under is gonna be a play I give out. Roc: Yeah, I I I don't I don't mind it and obviously when you have running backs like Bijan like a C C like a Gibbs who are receiving backs, they most of the time they don't even need the run game because they just incorporate those guys in the quick pass game. So I don't think it's a terrible take. The only thing is just he's so talented that one one rush could could ruin the play. Yeah, it just takes it C-Dub: It just takes one. It just takes one. Roc: just takes one. Which it sucks, but C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: I mean I I don't I don't mind it at all. C-Dub: Yeah. That's all I got in this game. If you got anything else. Roc: I got one more or two more actually. Matthew Golden longest reception, twenty plus yards. Again, I was just saying him and Christian Watson, they're firecrackers on that offense. They they take the top off Matthew Golden, fastest 40 time ever, four two speed, first round pick last year, kinda unperformed as a rookie for the Packers taking a skilled position wide receiver in the first round for the first time ever after having Aaron Rodgers for sixteen years and never giving him a weapon in the first round. their very first pick was Matthew Golden. So I think longest reception twenty plus yards tomorrow. I I like that a lot. Week one, his his longest was forty two yards and then week two he had his longest was eighteen. So again, that's just one drag dig over the middle of the field that you give it to him thirteen yards out and then let him be explosive and do the rest. And that that's all I got from this Thursday night game as of right now. Doug, you wanna say who you think's gonna win the game? Who who you taking? Just outright. C-Dub: I mean kinda what I've been saying. I think I th the Packers this I think this is a good get, right? I mean, after a lackluster performance on their first two games, I think the five and a half line for all the hate I've been giving it, it's probably pretty good. but I do think that the Packers will win this one. Roc: Yeah, I'm thinking the Packers too. Obviously Falcons got themselves in a hole and two and you really don't want to go down O and three, but Penix has been out for a year now. He's gonna be a little rusty and I think you you hit you hit the head on the nail with the Packers get right game. I think they need a big week to get back and get get their fans back back on the floor side. So I'm I'm rolling with the Packers also. C-Dub: I agree. I agree. I don't think it's kind of bouncing off what you just said there, my last thought. I think this is a Matt LaFleur game where I don't think he needs to make those tough decisions in in the fourth when when everything Roc: Yes. C-Dub: when the w when the castle seems to be crumbling and the wall and the walls are closing in, I don't think you'll need to make this against a team like the Falcons. Make those decisions. So it's probably good for him, Roc: I love that. C-Dub: good for everyone. Roc: Yeah, yeah, I I agree. C-Dub: Yeah, so next game we got Chargers at Bills. This is now Sunday. Buffalo favored by seven over under fifty and a half. Roc: Yeah. I I highlighted this game. C-Dub: Started off Roc: I first off, I think there's a lot of star power in this game, obviously. Josh Allen's the early MVP favorite every every September. It's the same thing. He's incredible. He's the best football player I've seen with my two eyes, honestly. So you have him, Herbert, and I think the the biggest talking point of this game is the Chargers need a win. They can't start off and three. We thought that they were getting bunnies with weeks one and two against the Cardinals and Raiders and they lost both of them. You you can't go O and three and then this is the start of their gauntlet. They we talked about it C-Dub: We we've we we discussed that the gauntlet. Roc: last episode. This is the start of it. You you start off O and three and then you have six more games straight of playoff teams where you could be really looking at yourself at a one and eight start, two and seven start, and nine start. I they gotta do something about it and they they have to they have to look look better. I think that's just the biggest the biggest note on this game. In C-Dub: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I hope they keep it close. I mean, I think that's a good s I think that's a good line. Buffalo favored by a touchdown. At Bills too. I mean, after the juice they had that first g that first game, the home opener in the new stadium. I don't think it's gonna die down too much the hype, 'cause they always get good fans, good crowd. Roc: Mafia. C-Dub: but yeah, I just hope 'cause I like Herbert. I and I hope the Chargers keep it close. I think one thing they're gonna have to do more McDan McDaniels loves getting guys getting guys on the outsides moving quick, all that motion, all that stuff. I think they have to establish Hampton early. We've seen the Spills defense not I mean, they're they're getting in the shootouts. I mean not la not Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: not last game, but the first game we saw him getting to sh an early shootout. I think they need to establish Hampton early. He's a great rusher. He's one of those marquee running backs, I think, like a One of those bell cows you can really rely on. I think they gotta utilize them more. So I when this comes around I might have a play for that, but until then I'm not sure. I also have another take here on the game. I don't know if you agree with this. This is my sneaky under game. Roc: That's I I in my notes I had sneaky over game. Sneaky over. I this my exact my my exact notes. As much as as much hype as the Bills get, as as much love as they get, they're incredible, their offense is incredible. Allen is Superman. Their defense hasn't looked good. If you want to be a Super Bowl Super Bowl contender, a legit Super Bowl contender champion, they're a lot thirty one and thirty one in Houston and Detroit. Yes, Detroit they were leading the whole game and it kinda never felt close. They they let up like five hundred yards of offense. C-Dub: see what you're saying, I do see what you're saying. I do, but how can we trust the Chargers after the first bunnies games we had them to score over fourteen when they've scored fourteen in both games? How can we trust that? So do we trust the is it gonna be the Bills get the over themselves? I'm not sure. I don't know. Roc: I think if there's a game though that McDaniels and Herbert can get the offense back on track because they've looked so bad these first two weeks is against a team that doesn't have a great defense and Bills don't have a great defense. So I think a sneaky overgame, even if the Bills go out, it could be just like the script of the Lions game. They go out and huge lead. The Chargers are just gonna be having to throw the ball again, trying, trying to put up points quick, trying to get back. I I think the the overunder at fifty and a half, I don't I don't mind it. The Bills offense is gonna score thirty of themselves. C-Dub: Could be, but the Chargers are of those teams where it's a shoot shoot themselves in the foot team, too. Where they have so many penalties, Roc: Yeah. The last week was brutal with six fumbles. C-Dub: so many fumbles. I I I like again, I hope I like Herbert, I like Hampton, I like their receivers. We've talked about it before, but I just I don't know if I could take that over confidently. Roc: I I I on the opposite end there, dub. I I like to sneak you over. Fifteen a half. Yeah. C-Dub: Alright, alright. That's okay. That's why that's why we talk. That's why we talk. Roc: and with that being said, I'm gonna take the Bills in that game. Bills at home. Chargers look lifeless right now. Herbert looks like he's checked out of it. I'm I'm taking the Bills at home. C-Dub: I I wanna take I think the Bills are gonna win, but I'd love to see the Chargers do this. Just Roc: yeah. C-Dub: just to make to make their gauntlet more fun and then me me have some hope in my in my in my brain for them. That yeah, that's all I got. Roc: Yeah. Not crazy. C-Dub: let me just can Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: I say something about the Panthers Browns real quick? I know we Roc: Yes. C-Dub: have it in our list the games we wanna talk about, but what if the Sean today's good? Roc: I don't I don't know what I was supposed to say about that, 'cause honestly, I he hasn't played a lot of football the last three, four years. He just hasn't played a lot. So maybe he's just he's just getting into the groove now. C-Dub: He woke up. He woke up again the last game. He was he used his feet. He was making the right reads. I mean, I'm not saying that the Browns win this game and that the spread is two and a half, so the bookmakers have this pretty close. But what if he I I mean, he might just stay good. I I this might be biased 'cause I took him as a dog and I loved watching that as much as it hurt my Survivor League. I don't know. That's that's my question. Roc: It's a it's a it's a great question. Honestly, it it goes twofolds, I think. The Browns gave him the highest guaranteed contract ever. So I think that the front office and the ownership wants him to be good, obviously. They're paying C-Dub: Need it. Roc: two hundred and fifty million dollars guaranteed to him. So they want him to be good if they're making that kind of an investment on him. But at the same time, the other side of things, fans, they obviously don't like him. They boo him at home. They boo his home games. They they had the whole situation in preseason when Deshaun came out and pretty much was talking crap about the Cleveland Cleveland fans. So I don't think they want him to be good 'cause they know that this year's quarterback draft is so rich that if they're just bad, they're gonna get their quarterback of the future. Hopefully. We've been saying that for the Browns for the past fifty years now. So C-Dub: That's that's the whole thing. That's the whole thing. What if he's good? Roc: I don't on to the next game. Jets at Lions. Detroit favored by six and a half with an over-under of 47 and a half. I don't know if you hear that, dub. Give me C-Dub: I hear it now. Roc: give me the live dog, the New York Jets. Who wanna fly with the Jets? Give me the Jets at plus six and a half. Obviously, in Detroit. In the dome, it will be difficult, obviously, but like I said last episode, the Jets were my my sneaky, sneaky fun team this offseason. They were my pick for my sneaky fun team. So they have a soft spot in my heart. And this Lions defense is Swiss cheese. Swiss cheese. They give up four hundred and seventy yards and four hundred and fifty yards the last two weeks. I think the key to this game for the Jets, if they want to win outright. Obviously the six and a half, I think the I think they can cover by a field goal, w lose by a field goal, back and forth game. I think the biggest key to this game though is you lean on Brees Hall and Braden Allen in in the run game and you control the clock. Kinda like how the Giants did to the Cowboys on opening night. I think C-Dub: Yep. Yep. Roc: you have to do that. This Lions defense is pathetic and they it's it's the same same thing from them every year. Their offense is unbelievable, with or without Ben Johnson. They're scoring thirty plus points and then the defense just Their secondary can't do anything. They Aiden Hutchinson C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: coming off the end. And obviously he had that brutal injury two years ago. So C-Dub: Yes. Roc: he he still looks like himself. And he's the only, the only guy on that defense. Brian Branch, I know if he's going to be back. I love him in the secondary, but that secondary has just been so banged up and so bad that I I think the Jets can control this game. And I think they can cover the six and a half. And I'm taking them as my lab dog. C-Dub: I love that. I I I do like that. I mean, I I don't have much else to say. I mean, hey, that's your dog. Roc: That's I I'm standing on it. I'm standing on it. I'm C-Dub: Let him meet. Let him eat. Roc: standing on it. C-Dub: Love it. Love it. Let's keep it rolling then. Next game, Texans Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: at Colts. Houston favored by three points. Over under forty two and a half. Take it away. Roc: I got loser gets loser gets run out of town. Both teams own two. Both teams own two. You ideally you don't want to start 0-3, but the only saving grace is at the AFC South has been so bad this year. Their combined one and seven record that it doesn't kill you. It doesn't kill you, obviously. If you start off 0 and 3, Houston last year started off 0 and 3, went to the playoffs, won a playoff game, and the Colts started off last year eight and one. before Daniel Jones got hurt and they missed the playoffs completely. So obviously starting off one and three doesn't doesn't end your season, but for the morale and for the overall faith of the team, losing a divisional game and and starting off that bad lead of the year, it's n it's not what you want. C-Dub: It is definitely not what you want. who's your Alwai r white rinner for this game? Roc: In I wanna I really wanna say in Indianapolis I wanna lean Colts, even though they're the underdogs. But losing Alec Pierce last week, he got put on the IR. They fed Jonathan Taylor and he's a stud. I you know what? I'm sticking with my gun. I'm going with Colts. Give me the Colts at home. C-Dub: I am too. I am too. I w I wanted to see where you lean in there. I I love the Colts in this spot, especially after the game they played last time. I think they had a good game plan. I mean, I know I shit on Steichen for his play calling at the end. They had chance to win against the Chiefs, who look like a juggernaut, like the juggernaut they have been in the past. So I I love the Colts in this spot, but at the same time, this is with Pierce being out, this could be a good Texans get right spot for their defense. I'm not sure about that offense, and I've talked a lot of shit about that offense. I'm not I'm not sure how they're gonna do, but this is a great get right spot. They played Allen and Burrow the first two weeks, and as we've said, maybe Burrow didn't play his best game, but he still got them enough to get the win. And handedly get them to win. maybe this is maybe against Daniel Jones, who I don't know if I who plays well who's been playing okay, but I don't I I don't put him at the marquee level that Allen and Burrow are at. This could be a good spot for that defense to get right. Forty two and a half over under. I kinda like the under there. I don't I don't know. I'm thinking Roc: It C-Dub: about it. Roc: it's tough because like I I kind of want to lead it under also because Texans offense, I just in their defense their defense is insane. Still, their defense is still top five in the league. I think it's it's exactly C-Dub: Yes. Yes. Yes. It is good. It is good. Roc: exactly what you said they played Burrow and Allen one and two weeks one and two. So it's tough to get a a gauge for has the the Texas defense fell off or that have they just been playing absolute studs. So C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: I think their defense obviously is Still good and I can't trust their offense fully yet. Even though Straud put up damn near 400 yards, you had 350 yards last week. They they mustered out six points. And the Colts offense, it's looked good the last two weeks. Obviously the shootout against against the Chiefs last on Monday night and or Sunday night. And then week one, I mean the first half against the Ravens, they were they were putting points up on the board. I I would lean the under also, 42 and a half. C-Dub: Yeah. Another play I like from this is on Montgomery anytime. I I think with how low scoring it's been, they're gonna want to get him to rock into open space. they and they kinda have to, I feel. just to get that's a guy that can score. I mean, what other receiver on the Texans are you heavily leaning on to get you in into the end zone? other than Schultz, I guess, who Stroud has been feeding rock to. I'm not sure who else can get in there for them. So I I do like at any time from him. Roc: I mean polar opposite performances by him, weeks one and two. First week gets finds the paint three times. C-Dub: I also think underutilized week two. Roc: Then we get then week two, six carries for ten yards. It's it's night and day. So we'll C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: see which one we get and what offense of game plan we actually get from the Texans, I guess, right? I guess C-Dub: Yeah. Yeah. Roc: that's the biggest question. C-Dub: Yeah, but at the end at the at the end of all that I'm still taking the Colts to win at home. Get out of that O two spot. You're good to go, Rock. Next game. Roc: Same. Same here. next game we got Titans at G Men. Titans at Giants. Giants still favored. Minus two and a half right now with an overunder of thirty nine and a half. C-Dub: Okay, I know we have a lot of bias going into this. I'll Roc: Yeah, yeah. C-Dub: I'll leave it off here. I think granted, they played against a st like one of the best the one of the best teams in the league, in my opinion, last game in the Rams. And they lost and Dark going down. Now he's out for the season. we don't have to talk about that too much, or else I'm gonna start crying on the air. but I think this is a game where that defense with the pass rush has been talked up so much. This is a game This is an i identity builder. This is one where you put the team on the back. I think I mean the over-under's thirty-nine and a half, so that I think the bookmakers are kind of leaning to to where I am, where I think it's gonna get ugly. And if this Giants defense can really muck this game up. I'm not saying they're gonna be there. I'm not saying they're gonna win. And I I I'm gonna take them to win because I'm biased and I'm a shitbag like that. I don't I don't have Roc: Yeah, yeah. C-Dub: the ability to think objectively when it comes to them. This is the tea this is a this is but this is a defense where they they have to meet up and they have to say, this is our game. They're playing a an 0-2 team in the Titans where I mean they gave the Eagles a run for their money. They did. But at the same time, I think this is this is an offense where you can eat. You can eat as a defense. I that's the one thing I want to see. That's a and that's all I'm saying. Roc: Yeah, my C-Dub: That's that's what I want to see. Roc: my my notes this game was just I wanna see how the Giants just overall their their morale is how they bounce back after the Jackson Dart news, after it's official this afternoon, he's gonna have surgery and he's done for the entire year. So I just wanna see how they bounce back if they're still in their bag about it and if they they come out flat or if they're like, All right, you know what, we're gonna go out there, we're gonna play for him and see how they respond. I also want to see how how does Jameis look after a week of first team reps and actual preparation. We said in the last episode that he just looked so unprepared and just really unprofessional. In my opinion, he I I love I love him, but he did not he didn't look professional at all. And it kind of bothered me that as a backup, that's you're supposed to be your job is that when you get thrown in any position, any situation, you're supposed to be able to handle it. And he just he looked completely lost. Like I've never even seen it before seen a Jameis like that before. We've talked about how they've been limiting teams scoring. Again, I th but I think how the Saints have been putting up numbers, this might be where some of their issues get exposed. That's all that's what I got there. If you got any players I got some players I like, Roc: I just wanted to go off. Obviously we had we asked the question, are are the Raiders actually good? It kinda goes back to New Orleans also. How good are the Saints? Honestly. I I think C-Dub: You think so? Roc: everyone I think everyone loves them as the underdog. Like I I I think ev everyone thinks that they're a good team. But they haven't in the last what year and a half, two years, they haven't been seen as a favorite. And I think C-Dub: No, not at all. Roc: So I I want to see what it's like when the Saints aren't the underdogs anymore and that they're they're favorites. Because I already know that their their pass game is so fun to watch. I I I know that offense can throw the thing, but I wanna see what their their offense looks like. Can they run the ball? Can they control the c the trenches? There were those games where like the Ravens would lose and then everyone would just go right to how many how many rushes did Henry get and it was always a low ass number. And then the next game it would auto correct and then we'd have this issue keep going over and over again. I think it might be kind of a hangover from Harbaugh where I think Henry will get his. and he should ha in my opinion against this Cowboys defense, he should have the best any time touchdown odds this entire week for any player. I mean the Broncos offense came alive in that second half as we discussed last time. and I I also think we haven't had too much of a good look at the Rams defense. C-Dub: I like I mean again, there was like we could talk about it with the Giants Giants Rams game, like I was comatose on the couch, but I keep kept hearing that lake guy's name. Roc: Fine like. C-Dub: pretty damn good. so I I want to see how good they are. again, I think it's a good spread. Roc: Him and land man. C-Dub: I still don't see how the Rams lose with all their weapons though. And I think the biggest key to this game is they gotta pressure Stafford and get him off the spot. You saw when he was with the Giants, he was a statue back there. So I I think that that's the biggest key just get Stafford off his spot and pressure him a little bit and make that thirty eight year old actually have to move around. C-Dub: Yeah. Yeah. That the throw-ins that they make, when they turn that turn it upside down, nothing falls out. I don't know what they put into it. It is unbelievable. And I think that the scarcity of it not being around plays a factor of why it's so C-Dub: That could be it. Roc: meaningful to me. We don't have one near us. So whenever I go out of town at C-Dub: That's fair. Roc: any at any point, if I'm on the road, anywhere, if there's a dairy queen around, I'm s I'm hit. I think to be a fast food joint, every single one of your stores has to have a drive thru. Roc: That's fair. That's that's fair. But you should you should be able to go to any fast food joint and go to a window. That's why I don't count five guys. I don't count Panera. I think I think Roc: That's C-Dub: I think there's a middle ground between restaurant and fast food where those places fall. Like the ch kind of more chains. Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: Where you can sit down, but it's not a sti I like if I'm getting Chipotle, I'm and out. Most of the time. I'm not eating there. But that's my take. But the cane sauce with the Texas toasts, you go and get a caneiac combo and you switch out the coleslaw for an extra piece of Texas toast and you dip that Texas toast into the cane sauce. Dude. Again, I I I'm I I don't know I don't know what they put in the blizzards, C-Dub: Ha. Roc: but it's it's gotta be it's gotta be illegal, whatever they're doing. They drop new flavors ever damn near every month. They have new flavors coming out. They have a rotation to keep it fresh, so you're not just like stuck with the same menu. They do sick collabs, they do the cinnamon toast crunch, Fruity Pebbles, they did the Superman when the movie was dropping. They have bangers of flavors. With all that being said. I've never had a single item of their actual fast food. I've only had the desserts. And that is how high I hold their blizzards. I hold their blizzards up here that it puts them in top three. That's how good it is. C-Dub: You sound like Harbaugh talking about Herbert. You sound like it. It Roc: And I'm standing on it. That's I'm I'm passionate about it. That's that's that's my goal. And as you said, like when when you're coming home from just a night hitting the town, there's nothing like I think if you look at like restaurants where my DoorDash money goes, I think it's ninety percent to Taco Bell. Roc: It's so good. C-Dub: It's ninety percent to them delivering to my place wherever I am. Even if I'm with gu with a group. It's so fun with a group. Just throw your tacos on there. Like it's so much fun. That Chick fil A's my number two. and they were my one, but now I live around them more, so the scarcity of it's a little little less. And they're they are kind of moving around the northeast now. They're spreading. cu just 'cause they're sauce and they're nuggies. I I'm a sucker. I'm a sucker. And they do do some fun seasonal stuff. and my three I don't the problem is I don't really have a three. I wanna say canes, but again I've had I've had it like two times. I don't think that if you're getting it in New York City it's the same experience. Roc: I was gonna say I've we I've we live on the East Coast, obviously. I've never even been to the West Coast after the age of like three. I was in California when I was like younger. So I don't know about like in and out. I've heard amazing things about like in and out burger.
