Jesus, Our Priest Forever (Hebrews 7:20-28)
We saw last time that our Lord Jesus has become a priest “by the power of an indestructible life” (7:16). He is qualified for a better priesthood not by genealogy but by resurrection. He has introduced a better hope to us, a hope through which we can draw near to God by grace. It’s this better hope, this better priesthood, that the author continues to unpack in our text.
