Big changes are finally here for the N.C. 87 and N.C. 11 interchange—starting July 29, drivers will see the long-awaited end of the all-way stop that’s been in place since 2017. After a fatal crash spurred safety upgrades, crews are now rerouting N.C. 11 traffic onto the new bridge, with full ramp connections expected by August.
