Backpacks Bonanza Brings Hope to NKY Kids | Lexington News
Northern Kentucky’s Backpacks Bonanza is set for Saturday, August 8th, from 9 AM to noon, handing out over 1,175 backpacks filled with school supplies for kids from preschool through 12th grade — including homeschoolers — especially those from underserved families. Organized by Northern Kentucky Harvest for 26 years, the event has distributed more than 21,000 backpacks since its humble start with just 150.
