- 0:00Speaker 1: Remember always being warned growing up that you're going to
- 0:02Speaker 1: poke an eye out doing various things. And how many
- 0:05Speaker 1: people do you know in total that ended up poking
- 0:07Speaker 1: an eye out?
- 0:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think you ever really poke an eye out,
- 0:10Speaker 2: But there's nothing worse than getting poked in the eye.
- 0:13Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Hang on a second, because a man in China has
- 0:18Speaker 1: poked his own eyeball out, and you know how he
- 0:22Speaker 1: had a fly flying in his face, which is one
- 0:25Speaker 1: of the worst things in the world. Yes, you know
- 0:30Speaker 1: what it sounds like. He swatted himself in the eye,
- 0:32Speaker 1: thought nothing of it, but he poked himself in the
- 0:34Speaker 1: eye in the process, and an hour later his eye
- 0:37Speaker 1: became so swollen because there was an infection. He had
- 0:40Speaker 1: to go in and in order to stop the infection
- 0:43Speaker 1: from reaching his brains, they've had to surgently removed the
- 0:47Speaker 1: man's eyeball and.
- 0:48Speaker 3: What was in his finger? Like, how did you? Yeah,
- 0:50Speaker 3: total poop face, I mean.
- 0:52Speaker 2: You know, I mean there's got to be something else
- 0:53Speaker 2: going on here, like that's pretty bizarre or just like a.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Weird victim blame. I have a man who his own
- 1:00Speaker 1: eye out. I'm sure he had a perfectly clean finger.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Oh just horrible.
- 1:04Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, but can you imagine?
- 1:06Speaker 1: That was always one of my biggest fears, probably because
- 1:09Speaker 1: people kept saying, you're gonna poke your eye out.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Yeah, but even with kids, every once in a while
- 1:14Speaker 2: you're playing, you're doing I feel like more times than
- 1:17Speaker 2: not since I've had kids is when I'm getting poked in.
- 1:19Speaker 3: The eye and it is so painful. Oh it is.
- 1:24Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:25Speaker 1: I think I've maybe shared this story, but I was
- 1:26Speaker 1: a real bad sport growing up, wrestling as a child,
- 1:29Speaker 1: and for whatever reason, this kid who had beat me
- 1:32Speaker 1: in a wrestling match like upset me so much to
- 1:35Speaker 1: the point and I'm not proud of this, but you didn't.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I poked him in the eyeball and not just like
- 1:40Speaker 1: a quick little jab. I can still feel it because
- 1:43Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure I touched his cerebrum. It was the
- 1:47Speaker 1: grossest feeling, and you know, understandably, he started sobbing, and
- 1:51Speaker 1: I think our parents had to get into this whole thing.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I mean, I can imagine not brown at all. But yeah,
- 1:56Speaker 1: I'm afraid do you ever get like an update? I'm
- 1:59Speaker 1: afraid I'm afraid this guy's walking around with one eyeball
- 2:02Speaker 1: with a glassy eye because of me.
- 2:05Speaker 3: I mean it's a pretty small community. Like, did you
- 2:08Speaker 3: ever wrestle this guy again?
- 2:10Speaker 4: No?
- 2:10Speaker 3: I never. He probably dipped out. You probably traumatized him.
- 2:13Speaker 1: No, I think I think we were in I want
- 2:15Speaker 1: to say we drove to like Lisbon somewhere like that
- 2:17Speaker 1: got it, somewhere I would never return to again.
- 2:20Speaker 2: So this guy's listening right now, and you're just going down.
- 2:23Speaker 4: Like a minute in the morning, Big ninety eight point seven.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Speaking of frustrating, you ever drive through a fast food
- 2:28Speaker 1: place and you pull out after they give you the
- 2:30Speaker 1: bag and then you realize they screwed your order up?
- 2:33Speaker 3: Is there anything worse?
- 2:34Speaker 1: I think it is the worse, you know, and you
- 2:36Speaker 1: know we've both lost family members and friends, and it's
- 2:39Speaker 1: you know, it's up there.
- 2:41Speaker 3: It is so frustrating for me.
- 2:43Speaker 2: It's like you might as well, Like I'm just gonna
- 2:46Speaker 2: throw this out there like an Arby's if you if
- 2:49Speaker 2: you remember my sandwich, which is always going to be
- 2:51Speaker 2: you're the roast beef sandwich.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Okay, the classic, give it to me. I'll be excited.
- 2:57Speaker 2: But if you forget the Arby's and Horsey sauce, I
- 2:59Speaker 2: will throw roll that sandwich out the window, you know,
- 3:01Speaker 2: because there's no point in setting it without having that.
- 3:04Speaker 1: You're exactly right. Ah, man, you're exactly right. And people
- 3:07Speaker 1: for whatever reason, because they're free the sauces. It's not
- 3:10Speaker 1: something they can put on there and like charge you
- 3:12Speaker 1: for same thing with a glass of water. When you
- 3:14Speaker 1: ask for that, it just goes in one ear and
- 3:16Speaker 1: out the other.
- 3:16Speaker 3: They don't care.
- 3:18Speaker 2: You ask for a glass of water at a restaurant
- 3:21Speaker 2: at a faster procession, you cheap skit.
- 3:24Speaker 1: You're like, you don't what I'm supposed to order the bottle? No,
- 3:27Speaker 1: I'm already spanding. If i'm if, I'd probably still charge
- 3:30Speaker 1: you for the cop.
- 3:31Speaker 3: If I or no, they're not. They have to give
- 3:33Speaker 3: you water. That's the the yes they do.
- 3:36Speaker 1: There's no there should be one thing in society that
- 3:39Speaker 1: is agreed on and that you can get a glass
- 3:41Speaker 1: of water from anywhere at any time. You've got to
- 3:44Speaker 1: be especially if I'm already fifteen dollars into a single
- 3:47Speaker 1: roast beef sandwich, which is the case, I should get
- 3:51Speaker 1: a glass of water anyway. But the point is they
- 3:55Speaker 1: basically just say, I screw this guy. I'm not gonna
- 3:57Speaker 1: give him that so then you have to go the.
- 4:00Speaker 2: The glass of water, because I would be so annoyed
- 4:02Speaker 2: that you ordered it.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Who knows what they're doing to it?
- 4:06Speaker 1: You think that upsets them that much that I ordered that.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I want to hydrate a little and not spend three
- 4:11Speaker 1: dollars for a desani no offense anyway, Can I tell
- 4:16Speaker 1: the story?
- 4:16Speaker 3: Yeah you can.
- 4:18Speaker 1: A lady went through a drive through realized that there
- 4:21Speaker 1: was a missing chicken strip. I mean, you order a
- 4:23Speaker 1: six piece, you want six if not seven.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Or sometimes they'll give you like if you'd get a
- 4:28Speaker 2: three piece, but then that one piece is like this
- 4:32Speaker 2: is like a half a piece?
- 4:33Speaker 1: Like what happened here? Well, she her name is Tilanier,
- 4:37Speaker 1: it's forty one and a full name. He actually got
- 4:39Speaker 1: all the way home when you realized that there was
- 4:41Speaker 1: a missing chicken strip. So that's frustrating because you don't
- 4:43Speaker 1: want to go all the way back, but you do
- 4:45Speaker 1: want vengeance, like you're not gonna forget about it. So
- 4:48Speaker 1: the next day she goes back to the fast food
- 4:50Speaker 1: restaurant and demands to speak to the manager about the
- 4:53Speaker 1: missing chicken strip.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Well, she became irritated. The next day, the.
- 5:00Speaker 1: The manager replaced the missing chicken strip. A single chicken
- 5:03Speaker 1: strip the next day. That was the solution, and with
- 5:06Speaker 1: it she got some ranch.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Well it's nice because I don't feel like a lot
- 5:09Speaker 2: of people would even bother.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Yeah, because there's no way to prove it. But at
- 5:12Speaker 1: that point, just do what they say. Like when I
- 5:14Speaker 1: worked at Arby's, if somebody came in, it was like
- 5:16Speaker 1: the other day I came in, It's like, okay, just
- 5:18Speaker 1: take it. I don't care, just get out of here. Well,
- 5:21Speaker 1: Tilania then was not just upset about the chicken strip,
- 5:24Speaker 1: she was upset with the lack of ranch provided and
- 5:28Speaker 1: spit in the store manager's face.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Geez, and it's one chicken strip, honey, they gave you
- 5:33Speaker 2: probably one thing of ranch. That's plenty of ranch, that's all. Yeah,
- 5:38Speaker 2: I mean for one chicken strip, how much do you need?
- 5:40Speaker 5: Right?
- 5:40Speaker 1: Well, then she leaves the restaurant and the manager actually
- 5:43Speaker 1: goes out the door as well. At that point, Tilanye
- 5:46Speaker 1: got in her vehicle and proceeded to run over the
- 5:49Speaker 1: store manager.
- 5:51Speaker 2: I'm certain to think she's not the sweet at that
- 5:54Speaker 2: nice girl that I thought she was gonna be with
- 5:56Speaker 2: that beautiful name.
- 5:57Speaker 1: At that point, Tlanie put her car in reverse no,
- 6:01Speaker 1: and backed into the store manager, hitting the manager's left
- 6:05Speaker 1: foot and ankle and knocking her to the ground. Store
- 6:08Speaker 1: manager's ankle was severely swollen and bruised, you can imagine.
- 6:12Speaker 1: And then she left the scene. So now it is
- 6:14Speaker 1: at this point the police are charging over second degree
- 6:17Speaker 1: assault and fourth degree assault. She's in jail. There's no
- 6:21Speaker 1: word if she finished that single chicken strip or not.
- 6:23Speaker 3: My gosh, isn't there really a tempted murder in there somewhere?
- 6:27Speaker 4: You know?
- 6:27Speaker 1: Isn't that funny where you can where do you draw
- 6:29Speaker 1: the line? Because I mean, when you're running somebody else,
- 6:31Speaker 1: you have to consider the fact that they may die.
- 6:35Speaker 3: I mean, I think tempted murder for life.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Not to get a into a random conversation here about crime,
- 6:42Speaker 1: but you know, when you shoot somebody and they don't
- 6:45Speaker 1: like it's just because they don't die, doesn't mean you didn't.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Shouldn't be the same, shouldn't really be the same just
- 6:50Speaker 1: because you missed or you know what I mean?
- 6:52Speaker 3: Correct? Was there? Yeah? Like what is it?
- 6:56Speaker 2: Because is it then murder with intent? Or is it manslaughter? Well,
- 7:00Speaker 2: if they don't die, there's none of that. It's just
- 7:02Speaker 2: attempted murder, or sometimes they hit you with like assault,
- 7:05Speaker 2: assault with a deadly weapon. A couple of months you're out. Yeah,
- 7:09Speaker 2: Now I don't know what the penalties are, right.
- 7:10Speaker 3: We're on the radio. We don't know the judicial.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Judicial system's guiltiest charged.
- 7:18Speaker 3: But not knowing the judicialing.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Ta get a man in the morning, I guess.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Maybe empathy is the word. But sometimes I'll just hear
- 7:26Speaker 1: stories about people I don't even know, I've never heard
- 7:28Speaker 1: of in my life, and I'll hear about something that happened,
- 7:30Speaker 1: and I'll just like, really really sad for them. Yes, absolutely,
- 7:34Speaker 1: Well tell me if you're there with this story. Because
- 7:36Speaker 1: there's a seventy seven year old woman. Her name is
- 7:39Speaker 1: Mary Jacobs. Now Mary some years ago thought it would
- 7:42Speaker 1: be cool to start a collection. You know, you hear
- 7:44Speaker 1: people who collect stamps, old cars points. Yeah, but she
- 7:50Speaker 1: wanted to have something unique. I want to do something
- 7:52Speaker 1: and nobody else has collected before. So Mary thought about
- 7:55Speaker 1: it and she landed on bedpans. Bedpans that like that
- 8:00Speaker 1: you go to the bathroom, you go to the bathroom
- 8:02Speaker 1: in like in a hospital.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Right, interesting, Do we know the reasoning or no?
- 8:07Speaker 1: She she just wanted to collect something different, and it
- 8:12Speaker 1: snowballed from there. She said she found herself going around
- 8:14Speaker 1: to so many different places to add to her collection
- 8:17Speaker 1: of bedpans.
- 8:19Speaker 2: What do you mean, Like, was she going into nursing
- 8:21Speaker 2: homes and hospitals and stealing.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Them anywhere she could find him? Now I know she
- 8:24Speaker 3: was stealing.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I don't want to assume the worst of Mary seventy
- 8:27Speaker 1: seven year olds years old though, and over the years
- 8:29Speaker 1: she's managed to collect in impressive one hundred and sixty
- 8:33Speaker 1: three bedpans. This goes back to the year nineteen eighty four.
- 8:36Speaker 1: That's a lot of bedpants. Now where are you displaying these? Like,
- 8:40Speaker 1: do you have a bedpan collection? Well, if you're gonna
- 8:43Speaker 1: have a collection, are you gotta have like a weird
- 8:44Speaker 1: room to yeah, or are.
- 8:46Speaker 3: You using them?
- 8:47Speaker 2: I had a one of my great grandma's God rest
- 8:49Speaker 2: her soul had an entire think of like an older
- 8:53Speaker 2: home when you walk in and they have a not
- 8:57Speaker 2: like a sunroom, but like a sitting area before you
- 8:59Speaker 2: get into their house.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Does that make sense?
- 9:01Speaker 2: If you go through the front area, sure that entire
- 9:04Speaker 2: area was just full of porcelain dolls.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Oh, I think you're gonna say bedpans and tons of
- 9:10Speaker 3: porcelain dolls. That's creepy.
- 9:12Speaker 1: It's not as bad as bad pants because for the
- 9:14Speaker 1: just maybe the word in general, it's one of the
- 9:17Speaker 1: grossest things. Yes, thinking about a bedpan. So here's what
- 9:21Speaker 1: the sad part is. Because now it's seventy seven years old,
- 9:24Speaker 1: Mary thought it's time for me to pass my collection
- 9:27Speaker 1: on to somebody else.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Oh gosh, imagine that being your grandma.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Yeah, you've been wanting grandma's good So what are we
- 9:34Speaker 2: getting from grandma?
- 9:36Speaker 1: She put it up for auction. The man is a
- 9:38Speaker 1: big auction the whole She thought. You know, I'm seventy seven.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I could use some money in retirement. Social Security isn't
- 9:43Speaker 1: paying what it used to. Maybe it is, I don't know.
- 9:47Speaker 1: I got to check lately.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Nobody bid on it, not even a hospital or anything.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Not a not a single person put a bid on
- 9:57Speaker 1: Mary's one hundred and sixty three bedpans.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Well it's not to night. I mean a bid we
- 10:02Speaker 3: could put in. I'm throwing five bucks here throwing.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Well.
- 10:05Speaker 3: The thing is, what are we going to do? Too late?
- 10:06Speaker 3: It's just pity.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Now, this is like when a kid sends a bunch
- 10:10Speaker 1: of invites out for his birthday party and nobody shows up,
- 10:13Speaker 1: and then of course you hear the good stories where
- 10:16Speaker 1: somebody catches wind of it. Then the whole town shows
- 10:18Speaker 1: up for his birthday party. But it's like it's not
- 10:20Speaker 1: the same. The damage was done. Yeah, the damage. I
- 10:23Speaker 1: don't care if we swoop in and buy up all
- 10:25Speaker 1: of these bedpans. Mary still knows nobody wanted them, and
- 10:28Speaker 1: that's where my heart breaks.
- 10:29Speaker 3: And they're not used bedpans, right, No.
- 10:31Speaker 1: They were used, but she insists that they are clean,
- 10:34Speaker 1: washed and in great condition, arguably like new.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Yeah that's a pass for me. I'm sorry.
- 10:39Speaker 1: No, yeah, okay, Well, have you ever had a collection
- 10:42Speaker 1: or anything that meant anything to you?
- 10:45Speaker 3: Really? Yeah?
- 10:46Speaker 2: Well I wouldn't be I'm starting to collect a nice
- 10:48Speaker 2: wine collection.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Yeah. Empty bottles are fu.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Yeah really, even racking up the empty bottle to the.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Big Seven and now Amanda Stills the Sea Wet's see.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Well, we knew it was gonna do big at the
- 11:08Speaker 2: box office, and it did. Deadpool and Wolverine is the
- 11:11Speaker 2: highest rated R opening of all time, both worldwide and domestic,
- 11:15Speaker 2: four hundred and forty four point one million dollars worldwide,
- 11:19Speaker 2: two hundred and eleven million dollars domestically. Now, what they're
- 11:22Speaker 2: saying is that this is the biggest one since Avatar
- 11:25Speaker 2: the Way of the.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Water high star rated opening ever and then the biggest
- 11:28Speaker 1: just overall opening since that Avatar movie.
- 11:30Speaker 2: It was Ryan Reynolds, you Jackman, both of them for
- 11:33Speaker 2: their biggest openings ever. Just crazy. And again I feel
- 11:36Speaker 2: bad because this is just so.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Not for me.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I like the b jacks Men growing up. But
- 11:42Speaker 1: where are these two intersects, Deadpool and Wolverine. I guess
- 11:46Speaker 1: you gotta find out. But how weird is that that
- 11:48Speaker 1: Avatar is still always like the bar for these movies.
- 11:51Speaker 3: But also another thing that is just like not my.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Jam well, not just you, Like I don't hear anybody
- 11:55Speaker 1: talk about Avatar.
- 11:56Speaker 2: One of the parts I guess in Deadpool that a
- 11:58Speaker 2: lot of people saw. I did see it on one
- 12:00Speaker 2: of the Instagram reels is Ryan Reynolds at the very
- 12:03Speaker 2: beginning doing a dance to in syncts Bye Bye Bye.
- 12:06Speaker 3: So people are like, oh my gosh, you got moves.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Well, Ryan Reynolds yesterday said I got to give all
- 12:11Speaker 2: the credit to the choreographer in dance double Nick Polly.
- 12:14Speaker 3: So it wasn't actually him. He had a dance.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Oh, you can't just learn a little dance, not like
- 12:20Speaker 2: the boys. He didn't have the moves. He didn't have
- 12:23Speaker 2: the moves like in sync. Sometimes he might be an actor,
- 12:26Speaker 2: but he just might not have dance moves.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Oh you could teach him. Man, you think I don't know.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I can learn that one dance, that chaw chaw slide,
- 12:33Speaker 1: just by what the guy says on the song to
- 12:35Speaker 1: the right to the last A little hop chow chhiing
- 12:38Speaker 1: real smooth. That's my favorite part when you do.
- 12:42Speaker 2: The chow chow real smooth. Do you do you get
- 12:43Speaker 2: a little hippie with it? Do you all arms?
- 12:47Speaker 4: Oh?
- 12:47Speaker 1: It is like a run in. In fact, my hips
- 12:51Speaker 1: are locked in place. Kind of thrust him forward and
- 12:54Speaker 1: lock it in, clench in the back.
- 12:56Speaker 3: What about you? I do like kind of like I'm
- 12:58Speaker 3: doing like the salsa, like a.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Trying to show off, really try to show off and
- 13:04Speaker 2: get those hips going all arms all right. Travis Kelsey's
- 13:07Speaker 2: VIP Suite at Arrowhead Stadium has some new items in it.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Apparently there was somebody doing a tour and they looked
- 13:15Speaker 2: in and they're like, oh my gosh, it's Travis Kelcey
- 13:17Speaker 2: sweet And there is a frame poster of Taylor Swift's
- 13:20Speaker 2: to Eras Tour in it.
- 13:21Speaker 5: Now.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Isn't that cute?
- 13:22Speaker 4: Wait?
- 13:23Speaker 2: Did he put it in there? Wud assume? Yeah, it's
- 13:25Speaker 2: his suite where like his family. Everybody goes, oh really,
- 13:29Speaker 2: so in it now it has a picture of Taylor
- 13:31Speaker 2: Swift and Eras Tour.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I figured it would have been like the team, just
- 13:33Speaker 1: sort of memorial like making it like a museum basically.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Yeah, no, anybody else who rents it. This is just his.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Uh how adorable is that? I know it. It made
- 13:42Speaker 3: me happy, it really did.
- 13:45Speaker 2: I'm glad you're putting I mean a picture of your
- 13:47Speaker 2: girlfriend on your nightstand back in the day.
- 13:50Speaker 3: No, it's more like having it at work. Oh yeah,
- 13:52Speaker 3: that's good. Point. Does he sleep in the suite? Who else?
- 13:56Speaker 3: I don't know how how dedicated game is.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I did hear him in a recent interview say he
- 14:02Speaker 2: was really trying to get his body back. He's like,
- 14:04Speaker 2: I had a good off season, but I'm ready to
- 14:06Speaker 2: get back to what I need to be doing.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Too many concert beers.
- 14:09Speaker 2: It looked like yeah, right, and Katy Perry. She's also
- 14:12Speaker 2: trying to get her career back home. Just kidding, I
- 14:14Speaker 2: know she had a rough go with her first single.
- 14:17Speaker 2: She just announced she has her next single coming out
- 14:19Speaker 2: of this new album that's going to be out in September.
- 14:22Speaker 2: It's called Lifetimes. We've got to you gotta wait till September.
- 14:25Speaker 2: We gotta wait September for the whole album. This one
- 14:28Speaker 2: we get out August ninth. It's called Lifetimes.
- 14:31Speaker 3: I have a clip of that. You do, Sorry, it's
- 14:32Speaker 3: in your folder if you the Pike folder.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Behind the scenes, we've shared a folder, and uh, I
- 14:38Speaker 1: should look at it before we do this.
- 14:39Speaker 3: Okay, I have it. I'm ready for you. Are you ready?
- 14:42Speaker 3: It's called Lifetimes. Oh club banger? Okay, yeah.
- 14:57Speaker 2: She said this song is going to be inspired by house.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Yeah, it is very housey.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I love that She's just and she knew she had
- 15:05Speaker 1: this follow up single ready to go based on how
- 15:07Speaker 1: well the first one did. And you know, I listen,
- 15:10Speaker 1: I'm hearing it several places, including this radio station, So
- 15:13Speaker 1: you know it's getting a chance anyway. I mean, you
- 15:15Speaker 1: always get a chance, right, But I would say critically
- 15:19Speaker 1: not acclaimed the song that's a nope for you. It's
- 15:22Speaker 1: gone critically unclaimed for the most part. But yeah, now
- 15:26Speaker 1: the follow up, it sounds maybe a little less cheesy,
- 15:28Speaker 1: So I have hope for the album this.
- 15:30Speaker 3: One, this one. I was listening to it and I went,
- 15:32Speaker 3: you know what, I'm moving, I'm shaking, not.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Doing a chatcha real slow but I'm here for it.
- 15:40Speaker 4: Trending. Now here's what you need to know.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Well, it has been so fun to watch the US
- 15:46Speaker 2: and the Olympics. Last night men's gymnastics, they scored their
- 15:49Speaker 2: first Olympic medals since two thousand and eight when they
- 15:51Speaker 2: were at the Games in Japan. Japan took the gold
- 15:54Speaker 2: in team competition over rival China.
- 15:57Speaker 3: America men took the bronze.
- 15:58Speaker 2: But just so cool to see the stories like that
- 16:02Speaker 2: is the one thing I've noticed about the Olympics this
- 16:04Speaker 2: go around.
- 16:04Speaker 3: They're putting together like these vignettes.
- 16:06Speaker 2: So right before some of these guys are taking or
- 16:08Speaker 2: gals are taking the main stage, you're going need to
- 16:11Speaker 2: know about him that we maybe you know, maybe never
- 16:14Speaker 2: would have known, and you're like, gosh, you're.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Really starting to like him, and then they shine. It
- 16:17Speaker 3: so cool. I love a good TV broadcast.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Right, Uh, one of the you know, biggest stars tonight, Pike,
- 16:23Speaker 2: I'm ready for it. Simone Biles will compete in all
- 16:26Speaker 2: four events in the team finals.
- 16:28Speaker 3: He ended up having that calf injury during.
- 16:30Speaker 2: The qualification round, so they have everything all taped up.
- 16:33Speaker 3: People were pretty nervous about it.
- 16:34Speaker 2: But the gymnastics final team team final is going to
- 16:37Speaker 2: be tonight and then the individual all around will be
- 16:40Speaker 2: on Thursday. Us by the way, has three gold, eight silver,
- 16:44Speaker 2: nine bronze.
- 16:44Speaker 3: We are in the lead so far with the overall
- 16:47Speaker 3: metal count.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Right.
- 16:48Speaker 1: You know you speaking of the men's gymnastics, you said
- 16:50Speaker 1: that I almost forgot that that was a thing.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Yeah, there was.
- 16:53Speaker 2: There was a guy and his name, of course, is
- 16:55Speaker 2: going to slip my mind because I just learned about
- 16:57Speaker 2: him yesterday. I want to say Frederick, but he uh
- 16:59Speaker 2: be frid is uh an African American gymnast and he
- 17:03Speaker 2: just said, you know what, My whole goal, he goes,
- 17:06Speaker 2: is for everybody to know that I am who I
- 17:09Speaker 2: am and this is what I'm doing. He put together
- 17:11Speaker 2: like this whole TikTok thing, and you should follow him
- 17:13Speaker 2: on TikTok. He did this all these vignettes where he's
- 17:15Speaker 2: like doing gymnastics.
- 17:17Speaker 3: Going in, he goes. Nobody pays attention to mend gymnastics.
- 17:19Speaker 3: I don't even think.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Jokingly like, I don't think anybody even really knows that
- 17:22Speaker 2: we're doing what we are.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly what I was saying. I mean, that's just
- 17:26Speaker 1: because there's so much focus on some own biles.
- 17:28Speaker 3: But good for them, good for the boys.
- 17:30Speaker 2: He's really taking TikTok to a new level, and so
- 17:33Speaker 2: is Snoop Dogg.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Have you been watching his commentary?
- 17:36Speaker 1: No, I haven't. I did like his album Doggies Style, though.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Is it as good or better?
- 17:43Speaker 3: You know what?
- 17:44Speaker 2: I'm actually gonna go because you know I loved it.
- 17:46Speaker 2: You know how much I love that album. We really,
- 17:48Speaker 2: we really.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Come together on that gue has got some bops on it.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Yeah forgot it is commentating the Olympics.
- 17:53Speaker 3: But here's him doing a little commentating on the bad minton.
- 17:57Speaker 5: Oh boy, oh I love is badmon Right, this is
- 17:59Speaker 5: a great rally right in between China and the US
- 18:02Speaker 5: right here as you see it. Don't stop to the
- 18:03Speaker 5: cash to drop.
- 18:04Speaker 3: They rocking and rolling back and forth.
- 18:06Speaker 5: Give me that, No I need that. No over here,
- 18:08Speaker 5: no over there? What about over there. Nope, what about there, No,
- 18:11Speaker 5: give me that. I need that that too, nope, sent
- 18:13Speaker 5: out work. Yeah, wait a minute, way up in the spy,
- 18:16Speaker 5: now down, back up over there, now.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Over here, get off the wait move.
- 18:21Speaker 3: I told you we need that. That was a good point.
- 18:24Speaker 1: That's I mean, it sounds like his flowing a song.
- 18:27Speaker 1: It sounds like a verse right.
- 18:28Speaker 3: It's unreal.
- 18:29Speaker 2: His voice is starting to just get to that point
- 18:31Speaker 2: where you're like, I could just listen to.
- 18:33Speaker 3: You all day.
- 18:35Speaker 2: So for me, I thought this is going to be
- 18:36Speaker 2: super annoying, but yet I'm I'm starting to really enjoy it.
- 18:39Speaker 1: No, and if you, I mean, you really didn't have
- 18:41Speaker 1: to see the video because he described it so perfectly.
- 18:44Speaker 3: What was going on back in my badminton days? Oh yeah,
- 18:47Speaker 3: love a good badminton. Is that the one with the birdie?
- 18:50Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay, Wait is it a birdie or is
- 18:52Speaker 1: it a shuttle cock?
- 18:54Speaker 3: Oh gosh, is that the same thing? No, there's enough,
- 18:57Speaker 3: what is okay? So there's tennis badminton.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Then there's something else with the you know, I think
- 19:01Speaker 1: they might call the technical term for the birdie, which
- 19:04Speaker 1: is in gym class, which you would call it.
- 19:06Speaker 3: I think it's a shuttlecock. I'm looking it up.
- 19:09Speaker 2: A shuttlecock also called a birdie thank you is a
- 19:12Speaker 2: high drag projectile.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Yep.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Yeah. And for badminton, I was probably top four in
- 19:17Speaker 1: my gym class.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Were you really? I mean a small class, but I
- 19:22Speaker 3: feel like open I was in the top or get
- 19:26Speaker 3: out of here with that. The best, not the worst.
- 19:28Speaker 2: All right, Twisters of course is uh just making nut.
- 19:32Speaker 2: It's up against a lot of big movies at the
- 19:34Speaker 2: box office, but I feel like on social media, everybody
- 19:37Speaker 2: who has gone in seeing this movie has said it
- 19:39Speaker 2: is incredible. Well, there are a bunch of storm chasers,
- 19:42Speaker 2: and there's actually a meteorologist at Texas A and M
- 19:44Speaker 2: saying that this movie is doing such a good job
- 19:47Speaker 2: not only with like using the real terminology, but actually
- 19:51Speaker 2: following what it would look like all of it. And
- 19:54Speaker 2: he said back in the day in the nineties when
- 19:56Speaker 2: Twister came out, the amount of people that want to
- 20:00Speaker 2: be meteorologists or storm chasers and all that, there was
- 20:02Speaker 2: like a huge influx of that. So he definitely sees
- 20:05Speaker 2: that happening this time around again because.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Absolutely, I know a guy watch locally here he's a
- 20:11Speaker 1: storm chaser, Like on the side as a hobby.
- 20:14Speaker 3: What is his same like Ryan Mock or whatever.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Yeah, oh not who I was thinking of there was
- 20:18Speaker 2: I thought there was like a wrestler.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Now this guy's like a hip hop artist and I
- 20:22Speaker 1: think he's a nurse. So he does it all. But I,
- 20:24Speaker 1: you know, from Facebook, I follow his adventures. He'll just
- 20:27Speaker 1: get in the car and be like, well there's a
- 20:29Speaker 1: storm in Kansas and he'll just drive to Kansas.
- 20:32Speaker 3: Really but he loves it.
- 20:33Speaker 1: But yeah, he kind of said the same thing, which
- 20:36Speaker 1: is good because these movies, when they're very specific to
- 20:38Speaker 1: like one industry, it's not it shouldn't be that hard
- 20:41Speaker 1: to get it somewhat right. Like you and I we
- 20:43Speaker 1: watched that stupid Mel Gibson movie that was like radio related,
- 20:47Speaker 1: and it is horrific. It is so painful to watch
- 20:51Speaker 1: because it's so like it's close but it's not.
- 20:54Speaker 2: You know, Yes, I always wondered, like with Grey's Anatomy
- 20:57Speaker 2: or some of these you know, er, if you are
- 20:59Speaker 2: actually in the situations, yeah, is it good? Or you're like,
- 21:02Speaker 2: what are you guys even talking about? This is so ridiculous? Well, us,
- 21:05Speaker 2: it seems like it like medical stuff. You think they'd
- 21:08Speaker 2: be able to get that right because it's not so niche. Yeah,
- 21:10Speaker 2: that's right, storm chasing, like, yeah, that's good, they did
- 21:13Speaker 2: the research. Well, speaking of that, woke up I don't know,
- 21:15Speaker 2: at eleven thirty last night with the storm rolling through
- 21:18Speaker 2: the area. Stuck around till about three point thirty. Hopefully
- 21:20Speaker 2: you didn't get too much damage as it was roaring
- 21:23Speaker 2: through here.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Gonna be a hot one today, high of ninety one in.
- 21:26Speaker 4: The morning, big ninety eight point seven.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Some people are just idiots and unaware of things you
- 21:30Speaker 1: should or shouldn't say, right. It is pretty remarkable to me,
- 21:35Speaker 1: especially when it comes to it's a sensitive topic, people
- 21:38Speaker 1: and children and how many they choose to have.
- 21:40Speaker 3: To each their own.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Of course, you can have your opinions, and a lot
- 21:43Speaker 1: of times people just aren't in control of how many
- 21:45Speaker 1: children they're able to have. Well, there are things that
- 21:48Speaker 1: you should never say to somebody of a parent who
- 21:50Speaker 1: has only one child, and you know, people have a
- 21:53Speaker 1: lot to say about that, it seems like, but they're
- 21:56Speaker 1: saying that more and more nowadays. It's becoming common for
- 21:59Speaker 1: people to only have one child.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, number one reason I would think is
- 22:04Speaker 2: probably financial child care costs.
- 22:06Speaker 3: And one thousand, that's enough, like that, that's enough.
- 22:09Speaker 2: But also there are people who have kids later in
- 22:11Speaker 2: life and maybe you can't have another kid.
- 22:14Speaker 3: But yeah, you should never ever be judging.
- 22:18Speaker 1: So here are things that apparently people with only one
- 22:20Speaker 1: child here quite a lot that you should not be saying. Okay,
- 22:23Speaker 1: well don't you want to give them a sibling. You
- 22:26Speaker 1: don't know what they've gone through to have the one child.
- 22:29Speaker 1: You know, maybe that one alone was a miracle. Absolutely,
- 22:32Speaker 1: and not to mention, you know, couldn't you argue you
- 22:34Speaker 1: Amanda with two kids would know like, yes, I'm sure
- 22:37Speaker 1: it's adorable to have siblings and they can play and
- 22:40Speaker 1: they can learn to interact. But my god, there's also
- 22:42Speaker 1: got to be a ton of times where you're like,
- 22:44Speaker 1: if it was only one, this would be so much
- 22:46Speaker 1: easier one hundred percent.
- 22:47Speaker 2: And depending on the situation, I was an only child. Yes,
- 22:50Speaker 2: I have step siblings. Yeah, but I turned out just fine. Yeah, yeah,
- 22:58Speaker 2: perfect example. Anyway, other things, I mean, yeah, I see
- 23:05Speaker 2: nothing wrong with you grow you that's just the way
- 23:08Speaker 2: you grow up. And for us it was I had
- 23:10Speaker 2: so many cousins and others. You still people to play
- 23:13Speaker 2: with and hang out.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Yeah, is that the worry that they're not gonna know
- 23:16Speaker 1: how to interact with people, like they don't get the socialization.
- 23:19Speaker 3: It's like, well that you can find other ways to
- 23:20Speaker 3: do it.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Yes, of course you're not supposed to say to somebody
- 23:23Speaker 1: with one child only, well, aren't they lonely?
- 23:28Speaker 3: No, they're probably not because they don't know any different.
- 23:30Speaker 3: They probably loving it.
- 23:32Speaker 1: I think we just put too much thought into really
- 23:34Speaker 1: everything now. But do you know, it's like one hundred
- 23:38Speaker 1: years ago.
- 23:38Speaker 2: What do you think they were lonely then when they
- 23:40Speaker 2: had all one hundred years in a rock to play with,
- 23:44Speaker 2: one hundred years. They were bored then too, Just so
- 23:46Speaker 2: you know, kids are bored, and believe it or not,
- 23:48Speaker 2: they didn't have a tablet with blippy twenty four hours
- 23:50Speaker 2: a day.
- 23:51Speaker 3: What would they have done? But didn't they have like
- 23:54Speaker 3: eight kids back in the day? A lot of people.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I just I can imagine these things were a
- 23:59Speaker 1: little or prevalent if you were if it was nineteen twenty,
- 24:02Speaker 1: it was the it was the what do you call
- 24:04Speaker 1: that thing? The Great the Great Depression?
- 24:06Speaker 3: You only had one kid? Oh man, jeez, Margaret, what
- 24:09Speaker 3: are you doing?
- 24:10Speaker 1: Also, things you should avoid saying are well, only children
- 24:13Speaker 1: are selfish? Now again, man, you being the example here,
- 24:17Speaker 1: of course, not that's never.
- 24:20Speaker 3: But I grew up in like, oh, she's an only.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Child like my cousins because they all came from really
- 24:25Speaker 2: big families. And so it was especially like around my
- 24:30Speaker 2: grandma because I had always come to visit and do
- 24:32Speaker 2: and it was always like, oh, she spoiled, she's this that.
- 24:34Speaker 3: It's like, no, I'm from.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Out of town and I'm you know, getting a little
- 24:39Speaker 2: extra love because you guys get to see her all
- 24:41Speaker 2: the time.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:41Speaker 1: People just love to have they have that idea in
- 24:43Speaker 1: their head. Yeah, so they'll find any way to go.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Oh yeah, look at that only child syndrome.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Yep. Yeah.
- 24:49Speaker 2: It wasn't used to getting picked on, though, I will
- 24:51Speaker 2: tell you that, you know what I mean. So when
- 24:53Speaker 2: they were like razzing each other, I'm sure I was
- 24:54Speaker 2: a lot more sensitive. Sure, so there was something to
- 24:57Speaker 2: be said about that.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know, maybe the sharing, I don't know,
- 25:01Speaker 1: do you feel like, I'm sure the sharing not that
- 25:03Speaker 1: you know, if you have two kids, you know that
- 25:04Speaker 1: siblings aren't great about sharing either.
- 25:07Speaker 2: What mean we do try to sharing is caring. But yeah,
- 25:10Speaker 2: I mean that kind of stuck with me all the
- 25:12Speaker 2: way through. I told you I didn't go to a
- 25:14Speaker 2: college where I would share a living situation with anybody. Yeah,
- 25:18Speaker 2: like that was not my jam. I did not want
- 25:20Speaker 2: to live with anybody anything else because you were an
- 25:22Speaker 2: olly child. Maybe yeah, probably really diving deep into your
- 25:26Speaker 2: thank you this is like a therapy, sing brain here.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Yeah, and then finally just avoids saying things like, well,
- 25:31Speaker 1: who will take care of you when you're old? Who
- 25:34Speaker 1: are people that say these things? And you know what happens.
- 25:37Speaker 1: People just have some like you really do. Yes, even
- 25:39Speaker 1: Lauren and I my wife, we don't have any children,
- 25:42Speaker 1: and you know, I'm thirty three, so it's tick tick right,
- 25:44Speaker 1: But just people, Now, it's just amazing the things people say.
- 25:48Speaker 1: You know, it's like just it's none of your business,
- 25:51Speaker 1: like you have no idea the situation.
- 25:54Speaker 3: So it's just so you guys are planning to have kids.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Well, I'll tell you this, we're considering having one, which one?
- 26:02Speaker 1: Can you imagine we only had one child arguably worse
- 26:06Speaker 1: than having none.
- 26:07Speaker 3: No, I'm just kidding.
- 26:08Speaker 1: No, I mean, like listen, well, like I said, I'm
- 26:09Speaker 1: thirty three, so you know it's like it's a little
- 26:11Speaker 1: old to start, But then again, it's not if you're
- 26:14Speaker 1: if you're only having one, because you know, you think
- 26:16Speaker 1: about people who have had three four children. Well, by
- 26:19Speaker 1: the time you have the last one, you're probably in
- 26:21Speaker 1: your thirties.
- 26:22Speaker 3: So I feel like it. I feel like it evens out.
- 26:24Speaker 2: So and it's really funny because you have a younger
- 26:27Speaker 2: friend friend group.
- 26:28Speaker 3: And I'm not saying it's like the small I hang
- 26:30Speaker 3: out with high schoolers. No, no, no, know what I'm saying.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Let me if you like your.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Friend group is oddly young. Restate this coming from a
- 26:40Speaker 2: small town. And I also also from a small town. Yeah,
- 26:45Speaker 2: a lot of high school sweetheart, they started younger. Like
- 26:48Speaker 2: I have friends who I graduated with and their kids.
- 26:51Speaker 3: I'm like, jeez, bigger than you. They're about to graduate agors,
- 26:55Speaker 3: I know.
- 26:55Speaker 2: And so it's hilarious that I'm in a completely different
- 26:58Speaker 2: life stage because well took a different route, you know,
- 27:02Speaker 2: when right, I met my significant other later in life
- 27:05Speaker 2: to have kids because I had a huge chunk.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Of my life where I was not going to sure, Yeah,
- 27:09Speaker 3: and then all of a.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Sudden Nick and I met and it was boom boom,
- 27:11Speaker 2: and just so you know you can have kids real quick.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Good turnaround. I mean, what you had two weeks? That's
- 27:17Speaker 1: how much time you need.
- 27:19Speaker 4: Like it a minute in the morning. Come on, get
- 27:21Speaker 4: up on Big seven.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Well look at us on top of the world, quite literally,
- 27:27Speaker 1: the US of A leading the medal counts so far
- 27:29Speaker 1: the twenty twenty four Paris Olympics, and today the US
- 27:32Speaker 1: women's gymnastics team clicking to take home of gold. And
- 27:35Speaker 1: I assume that's just pretty much guaranteed, right we haven't
- 27:38Speaker 1: gotten into the swimming portion, right, So there has.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Been yeah, little swimming last night there was, there was
- 27:44Speaker 2: a couple of highlights from it.
- 27:46Speaker 1: You ever wonder though, when they're in those pools, and
- 27:48Speaker 1: they spent a lot of time in those pools, the swimmers,
- 27:51Speaker 1: So are you peeing in the pool?
- 27:52Speaker 4: Or not?
- 27:53Speaker 3: If you're an Olympic swimmer? Oh gosh, you ever wonder that?
- 27:56Speaker 2: So is when they're in the pool, they're swimming so
- 27:58Speaker 2: fast you're not going to be able to multitask like that.
- 28:01Speaker 3: You're gonna have to actually be sitting there treading water.
- 28:03Speaker 4: Right.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Well, that thought because the Wall Street Journal one of
- 28:06Speaker 1: the UH group, you're the top uplications in the country. Uh,
- 28:10Speaker 1: they did the Lord's work here and did some researching
- 28:12Speaker 1: with these Olympic athletes to get the tea on whether
- 28:15Speaker 1: or not they're peeing in the pool. So Katie hoff Us, swimmer,
- 28:19Speaker 1: she this is her quad. She says it sounds grossed outsiders,
- 28:22Speaker 1: but because there's so much chlorine in the pool, you
- 28:25Speaker 1: don't even think about it.
- 28:26Speaker 3: You just do it, Okay, So she's given the full
- 28:29Speaker 3: go ahead. Just whatever.
- 28:31Speaker 2: I could see maybe at the end, because they're sitting there,
- 28:33Speaker 2: they're looking up at their scores, kind of celebrating. I mean,
- 28:35Speaker 2: if you had to go, but otherwise you're on the
- 28:38Speaker 2: podium jumping off. I just can't imagine swimming and going
- 28:43Speaker 2: to the bathroom at the same time.
- 28:44Speaker 3: It doesn't mean not especially as fast as they're going.
- 28:47Speaker 1: It's hard to do any It's hard to you're right,
- 28:49Speaker 1: because you have to sort of engage whatever that muscle
- 28:51Speaker 1: is that kind of lets you.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Go, yeah, I'm a girl.
- 28:54Speaker 2: I mean you kind of have to, like you can
- 28:55Speaker 2: can sitting next to somebody like I'm not gonna I
- 28:58Speaker 2: have to like swim away, go behind the pond.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Like it's still like going to the bathroom, not to mention.
- 29:05Speaker 1: You can't even have a conversation, like you can look
- 29:08Speaker 1: somebody in the eye and go you're peeing.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Because there is like that. Yeah, it's like somebody distracted
- 29:14Speaker 2: on their phone.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, you engage the one muscle and then you
- 29:17Speaker 1: lose any control of your face or what you're looking like.
- 29:20Speaker 1: So apparently though Lily King, it's another Olympic swimmer. She says,
- 29:25Speaker 1: I pee in every single pool I've ever swam in.
- 29:28Speaker 1: That's just how it goes. I can actually pee while
- 29:31Speaker 1: I'm swimming. Oh yeah, and I don't Okay, what's the
- 29:35Speaker 1: longest because some of those races go on for a while.
- 29:38Speaker 2: We watched a four hundred meter race the other day
- 29:41Speaker 2: and I thought that was in my mind, I'm thinking, okay,
- 29:43Speaker 2: you're down in back four times.
- 29:46Speaker 3: Maybe they were. It felt like if they were there
- 29:48Speaker 3: for ten minutes. It was wild to me.
- 29:50Speaker 1: I know, you just sit on your couch and it's just,
- 29:53Speaker 1: you know, drinking a beer, going Why can't you swim
- 29:56Speaker 1: a little faster than that?
- 29:57Speaker 3: Last night we were watching his name was Ryan maybe Johnson.
- 30:00Speaker 3: He was going for nice.
- 30:03Speaker 2: He was expected to maybe metal and he's coming up
- 30:07Speaker 2: and he almost won, but it was like a tenth
- 30:09Speaker 2: of a second for first second thirty and he was
- 30:11Speaker 2: in first at that last We're like, oh, come on,
- 30:13Speaker 2: yelling at our TVs. And then all of a sudden
- 30:15Speaker 2: so bummed because he got bronze.
- 30:18Speaker 3: Isn't that the world? He's just sitting here like, come on,
- 30:20Speaker 3: come on, man.
- 30:22Speaker 1: You just couldn't couldn't stick that finger out a little
- 30:24Speaker 1: further to touch the pool first.
- 30:25Speaker 3: I think it's a pancheck o. But what his name is?
- 30:28Speaker 2: He knew exact and they were saying that he knew
- 30:30Speaker 2: just to put his finger up right where he needed
- 30:33Speaker 2: to get first.
- 30:34Speaker 1: What is that that was his He knows something the
- 30:37Speaker 1: other guys don't.
- 30:38Speaker 2: He did what he needed to do in order to
- 30:41Speaker 2: get gold, to like really push himself to the to
- 30:43Speaker 2: the finish, like they were saying, the last.
- 30:47Speaker 3: To do it.
- 30:48Speaker 1: You know you're analysis here is forget Snoop Dogg.
- 30:51Speaker 3: They got to get you on the.
- 30:52Speaker 4: Broadcast on in the morning on SIG seven.
- 30:57Speaker 1: There are some people who believe that they have I've
- 31:00Speaker 1: discovered a sighting of none other than you guessed it,
- 31:04Speaker 1: gigantipithecus man sasquatch, otherwise known in North America as Bigfoot. Now,
- 31:11Speaker 1: this is potentially big, big stuff, Amanda, So don't ask,
- 31:15Speaker 1: because I think you might be think. Think back to
- 31:17Speaker 1: this moment. Go where was I when I found out
- 31:19Speaker 1: Bigfoot was real. There's a documentary, a two thousand and
- 31:23Speaker 1: one nature documentary called Great North that people are claiming
- 31:27Speaker 1: they've just now discovered in one of the shots of
- 31:30Speaker 1: this documentary, which by the way, documents the Arctic landscape.
- 31:34Speaker 1: So they're just filming ran a wildlife in the Arctic,
- 31:38Speaker 1: and in one of the shots is a bipedal figure
- 31:42Speaker 1: they suspect is none other than Bigfoot.
- 31:46Speaker 3: I don't buy it, and they're just now realizing.
- 31:48Speaker 1: It, and they just look back like you ever looked
- 31:50Speaker 1: back at home videos and see something in the background
- 31:53Speaker 1: he didn't notice before. Oh there's our uncle Beck There
- 31:55Speaker 1: no taking a shot a whiskey.
- 31:57Speaker 2: I feel like I need to get back and look
- 31:59Speaker 2: at some of the videos. It's been so long.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Yeah, go look through because you never know when sasquatch
- 32:04Speaker 1: might pop up at your third birthday party.
- 32:06Speaker 2: I do remember finding it hilarious, like the old Budweiser cans.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Like my grandpa, that was one thing I remember. He
- 32:12Speaker 2: was always drinking good old Budweiser at every birthday that
- 32:16Speaker 2: I had.
- 32:17Speaker 3: What does that have to do with Bigfoot?
- 32:19Speaker 2: If you were asked me what random things I saw
- 32:21Speaker 2: on videos that stuck out to me, I'm just saying.
- 32:23Speaker 3: I'm just budweiser, bigfoot.
- 32:26Speaker 1: I don't know you thing, but eating Bigfoot is clugging
- 32:30Speaker 1: a few cans of Budweiser.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Do you believe in Bigfoot? Do you think there is?
- 32:34Speaker 1: I have no reason to believe that's not true. I mean,
- 32:38Speaker 1: big and hairy beast. You see them all the time,
- 32:40Speaker 1: the Luckness Monster reel. Yeah, that is confirmed, real for real.
- 32:45Speaker 2: No, that's just like I'm starting to get to the
- 32:49Speaker 2: point where I don't know what to believe.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Which one would you rather be? Real NeSSI or Sasquatch?
- 32:54Speaker 2: Oh gosh, probably probably NeSSI. Nessie looks a little sweeter.
- 32:59Speaker 2: It's terrifying.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Are you kidding? I hate the thought of Lockness Monster.
- 33:02Speaker 3: He I think Nessy would reminds me of a lamb
- 33:05Speaker 3: before time? Uh, what's the not ducky? What's little foot? Littlefoot?
- 33:11Speaker 3: For some reason, I think it's just gonna be like
- 33:13Speaker 3: this is.
- 33:13Speaker 1: That's just like a that's just so what do you
- 33:15Speaker 1: call those things bronosaurus. But it's in the water, you know,
- 33:19Speaker 1: that's the creepy part. I don't like things in the water. Yeah,
- 33:23Speaker 1: not a fan anyway. So this documentary, which by the way,
- 33:25Speaker 1: they were just following a bunch of caribou and that's
- 33:28Speaker 1: when the shot. Now some people are saying, okay, it
- 33:30Speaker 1: was probably a crew member who got in the shot,
- 33:32Speaker 1: but the makers of the documentary are defending it, saying
- 33:35Speaker 1: it was very unlikely that it would have been a
- 33:37Speaker 1: crew member because anyone who got into the shot who
- 33:40Speaker 1: was a crew member would have to buy the beers
- 33:42Speaker 1: that night.
- 33:43Speaker 3: So it's just bad Protocolike, I don't want to pop
- 33:47Speaker 3: your bubble over here, don't. I don't.
- 33:50Speaker 2: I'm starting to think that the crew, the cast, the
- 33:53Speaker 2: people who put together Up North.
- 33:56Speaker 3: Might be giving us a little tail.
- 33:58Speaker 2: So that way we decide to watch what is it
- 34:00Speaker 2: called Up North?
- 34:03Speaker 3: Great?
- 34:03Speaker 1: Okay, it's a stupid nature documentary. Twenty four years later,
- 34:06Speaker 1: you think, guys, you know what that we.
- 34:08Speaker 3: Need a little extra cash? Are you kidding me? Inflation?
- 34:10Speaker 1: We spent all that time filming caribou, or at least
- 34:13Speaker 1: standing out there in the Arctic, hoping we'd see some caribou.
- 34:16Speaker 3: That's that's what I think. There's one of them.
- 34:18Speaker 1: There's so many, like really good nature shots, and you
- 34:21Speaker 1: just wonder who's who's getting all these?
- 34:24Speaker 3: You know.
- 34:24Speaker 2: No, my husband all he watches is the Outdoor Channel
- 34:27Speaker 2: and it's amazing to me.
- 34:28Speaker 3: It makes me want to go and do.
- 34:29Speaker 2: But I know the reality as you're just sitting there
- 34:32Speaker 2: for days and days and days, I'm probably not getting.
- 34:34Speaker 3: Any of that. You want to go shoot nature? No,
- 34:37Speaker 3: I don't want to shoot nature. I just be in nature.
- 34:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Just well, I'd like to like see the big animals
- 34:43Speaker 2: and nessy and ask watch all of them. You know,
- 34:48Speaker 2: whoever it may be out.
- 34:49Speaker 3: There, you should go. I do want to go now.
- 34:53Speaker 2: One of my one of my buckets, i'd love to
- 34:55Speaker 2: do Africa. South Africa. Yeah, where's the one where.
- 35:00Speaker 1: All the well, there's South Africa. That's a country, very
- 35:03Speaker 1: beautiful than from what I understand. Very beautiful, yes, but
- 35:06Speaker 1: that's down there to you're like Madagascar, any other African
- 35:09Speaker 1: nations you'd care to visit?
- 35:11Speaker 3: That one sounds good? Yeah, start there and work your
- 35:13Speaker 3: way up. Let us know how it goes.
