- 0:00Speaker 1: I kind of I kind of want to talk about
- 0:02Speaker 1: something that's that's on me right now. Uh. I want
- 0:09Speaker 1: to talk a little bit about expectations, and I want
- 0:14Speaker 1: to talk about patience. But I'm gonna throw one more
- 0:18Speaker 1: thing in that I'm gonna put need in there. Need
- 0:22Speaker 1: expectations and patience. Uh. It's something that I've been praying about,
- 0:28Speaker 1: you know, and I've been asking God for it for
- 0:31Speaker 1: quite some time and it hasn't gotten here. And He
- 0:38Speaker 1: knows exactly what I need. So as I'm saying this
- 0:42Speaker 1: to you, I want you all to imagine yourself and
- 0:46Speaker 1: plug in your need. So I'm talking to God right
- 0:50Speaker 1: and I'm asking God for something that I need and
- 0:55Speaker 1: I know I need it because it would it would
- 0:57Speaker 1: make some things go so much better, so much SMA,
- 1:00Speaker 1: so much easier. Just overall, it would just help in
- 1:05Speaker 1: so many areas. So I've been praying about it and
- 1:09Speaker 1: it hasn't gotten here yet. And so my oldest sister
- 1:14Speaker 1: texted me the other day and I didn't get back
- 1:16Speaker 1: to her, and so just last night she texted me
- 1:20Speaker 1: again and just said, Hey, could you answer my text?
- 1:25Speaker 1: I hope things are well with you, Love Mona, And
- 1:28Speaker 1: so I text her back and I told everything was fine.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I just been working so much. I said, sometimes I
- 1:35Speaker 1: don't get to answer your text when you send it
- 1:37Speaker 1: to me right away because I'll be on the set
- 1:39Speaker 1: of something, I'll be doing something. I said, but I
- 1:42Speaker 1: get them and I appreciate them. And then I told
- 1:45Speaker 1: my oldest sister. I asked her to please pray for me.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I said, I pray for a breakthrough for me, something
- 1:55Speaker 1: I've been asking God for, so I can just you know, take,
- 2:00Speaker 1: you know, relax a little bit about this situation. And
- 2:04Speaker 1: I went on to tell my sister that's hard being
- 2:07Speaker 1: successful and stuff like that, and I said, but we're good.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I'm just working real hard. I told I love you,
- 2:16Speaker 1: and then I said, let me know if you need something.
- 2:19Speaker 1: She text me back the simplest thing. Now, Remember, now,
- 2:24Speaker 1: I've told you that I was asking God for something
- 2:27Speaker 1: that I needed and I had been waiting for it,
- 2:32Speaker 1: and I'm almost out of patience, to be honest with you.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I just thinking it's taken a while, right, And I'm
- 2:40Speaker 1: pretty sure you could feel that way too. Sometimes you
- 2:42Speaker 1: ask God for something and you're living in expectation and
- 2:46Speaker 1: you get, man, what's taking so long? And you're getting
- 2:49Speaker 1: a little impatient. I think that's happened to every person.
- 2:53Speaker 1: My sister simply sent this text backs to me. She said,
- 2:58Speaker 1: just take one day at a time. The Lord knows
- 3:02Speaker 1: what he's doing. I'm praying for you. That was her message. Now,
- 3:08Speaker 1: my sister's eighty two years old. She told her brother,
- 3:14Speaker 1: who is like, you know, the family guy that they
- 3:19Speaker 1: can all come to when they need something. But she
- 3:22Speaker 1: simplified it for me so easy. She said, just take
- 3:26Speaker 1: one day at a time. The Lord knows what he's doing.
- 3:30Speaker 1: And do you know how much better that made me feel?
- 3:33Speaker 1: I simply, Becka said. I text her back. I said, okay,
- 3:36Speaker 1: I will because you know this thing that I've been
- 3:39Speaker 1: asking God for that I so desperately feel like I need,
- 3:43Speaker 1: and I keep expecting it to happen, but I'm starting
- 3:47Speaker 1: to lose patience about it. My sister says something so simple,
- 3:54Speaker 1: if you just take one day at a time, the
- 3:57Speaker 1: Lord knows what he's doing. And if I look at it.
- 4:02Speaker 1: In her simple way of talking to her brother, she
- 4:05Speaker 1: knows me very well. Her simple way of talking to
- 4:09Speaker 1: me was letting me know that if you just keep
- 4:13Speaker 1: waking up and keep doing what you're doing. God got
- 4:17Speaker 1: all this under control. He know what he doing, and
- 4:21Speaker 1: you know what he always has. He's always known what
- 4:26Speaker 1: he's doing always. He ain't never not known what he
- 4:33Speaker 1: was doing. Even when I thought I wanted it to
- 4:35Speaker 1: go another way, and he worked it out a different way.
- 4:39Speaker 1: It was for the best, and so I just had
- 4:42Speaker 1: to grab myself and go, okay, I will And it
- 4:45Speaker 1: made me feel better because I said, Okay, man, I'm
- 4:49Speaker 1: actually okay. I do actually keep waking up. I do
- 4:55Speaker 1: keep somehow surviving at all. I'm not just surviving, I'm
- 5:01Speaker 1: actually thriving. I'm going through it, but I'm getting through it.
- 5:07Speaker 1: It's taking a while, but it's in the process and
- 5:12Speaker 1: God does know what he's doing. So that settled it
- 5:18Speaker 1: for me. So I'm saying to you, if there's something
- 5:22Speaker 1: you've been praying about, something that you need, and you're
- 5:25Speaker 1: living your life and the expectation because you know he
- 5:28Speaker 1: gonna deliver it for you, but you done got a
- 5:30Speaker 1: little bit impatient with it, like I have, just taking
- 5:34Speaker 1: a day at a time. God knows exactly what he's doing.
- 5:39Speaker 1: He's working on something on your behalf that you don't
- 5:42Speaker 1: even know about. And when he give it to you.
- 5:44Speaker 1: It's gonna fix it all, probably better than you could
- 5:47Speaker 1: have ever imagined. Those are my closing remarks. Just something
- 5:51Speaker 1: to think about. Yeah, wow, that put things in perspective. Yeah,
- 6:03Speaker 1: come stop playing in the day. Well tell us Steve.
