- 0:07It's the show you've all been waiting for, so whoop and cheer
- 0:11and welcome your hosts. Thank you.
- 0:13Thank. You so.
- 0:18Much. Hello, hello there.
- 0:20I'm Ted Talker. And I'm Paige Turner.
- 0:23And this is Lego Party. Let's go see how our contestants
- 0:30are preparing for the show. OK, then let's bring in our
- 0:43contestants, make them feel welcome.
- 0:47Play in the red circle. It's.
- 0:49Player 1 and in the Blue Square it's player 2.
- 0:55Player 3 is our yellow star today.
- 0:58And finally, player 4 is in the green hexagon.
- 1:05Oh my goodness. Do you think they have any idea
- 1:09what's about to happen to them? Well, they've shown up, so I'm
- 1:12going to say no. Now, what kind of show are we
- 1:16making today? We're going to the challenge,
- 1:23though. So now the question becomes,
- 1:25which one are we playing? And have we still got all the
- 1:28pieces for it? Everyone on the coach, we're
- 1:34heading to the theme park. Whoa.
- 1:53Welcome everyone to the Theme Park Zone.
- 1:58Before we dive in, would you like to know how to play Lego
- 2:01Party? I am Mr. Gold and I am his
- 2:10identical twin. Find either of us in the park to
- 2:16purchase a Golden Brick Round one start.
- 2:34Simply stand on a square and the one with the most boats wins.
- 2:40Oh, that's it. Make 4 choices.
- 2:43That's about as definitive a result as you can ask for.
- 2:49It's time to give our players a thorough evaluation as we head
- 2:53to our lab for a spatial awareness test.
- 2:55It might sound scary, but really it's just about dropping
- 2:58colorful flasks into shoots. But how you do it?
- 3:02Well, that's where the twist comes in.
- 3:04Get ready, it's tumble time. 32 go go.
- 3:42They're the first to catch one of the flasks and get off the
- 3:45starting line. What the Did we just drop a bomb
- 3:48into their Tumblr? Looks like it.
- 3:50And that's bad news, because if it lands in their chute, they'll
- 3:53lose a point. Which will be a real problem as
- 3:55they only have one of them at the moment.
- 3:57Clever. One of our players just figured
- 4:00out that you can drop the bombs as long as they don't land in
- 4:02your chute. They make me so proud.
- 4:06Go be careful player 2. And that was not where to put
- 4:10that bomb. Player 4.
- 4:12And they slightly misjudged that one.
- 4:14Player 2. Next time, aim for the shoot.
- 4:18Get a load of player 4. And that blast means another
- 4:21point for them. Oh my goodness, Player 3.
- 4:25And another chemical spill to clean up for us.
- 4:28There's not much time left. Clever.
- 4:33One of our players just figured out that you can drop the bombs
- 4:36as long as they don't land in your shoes.
- 4:38Time's up till pencils down. The test is over.
- 4:41OK, let's grade those tests and hand out some rewards.
- 4:48There's our first results screen.
- 4:50Just look at all those numbers and words.
- 4:53I wonder if they mean anything. I guess we'll never know.
- 5:36A reminder for the viewers at home that the players finishing
- 5:39position in a mini game not only determines how many stunts they
- 5:42win. But also the order in which they
- 5:45take turns during this round. And when there's a Tide result,
- 5:48the turn order of the Tide players is chosen completely at
- 5:52random for maximum unfairness, and another brave contestant
- 5:56steps into the challenge zone. Oh, it's one of our new micro
- 6:32games. They're like mini games but
- 6:34micro. On this one, they just have to
- 6:36hit the button at just the right moment.
- 6:40Good luck. If a player ends their turn on
- 6:48one of these spaces, they get 3 stunts for free.
- 6:57It's a real fairground favorite, this one, although our version
- 7:02isn't fixed and our final player takes their first footsteps on
- 7:11their adventure. You can never have enough free
- 7:18studs. Round 2 point O.
- 7:20It's like round one but new and improved.
- 7:30Mini game voting time. It comes earlier every year.
- 7:34I feel terrible I didn't even get you a card.
- 7:36Yes, that's my favorite mini game.
- 7:39You could say that about all of them.
- 7:42I just don't like to hurt their feelings.
- 7:44It's time to put on your personal helicopter and take to
- 7:47the skies. You'll have to risk it all as
- 7:50you fly headlong in a race to grab the most points.
- 7:53Because hanging back and staying safe is not how you win this
- 7:57game. Get ready, get steady.
- 7:59It's helicopter hustle. 3 21 Go Oh, it's the rink.
- 8:34The first person through each of these will get the most points.
- 8:37And it is diminishing returns for everyone else.
- 8:51Hit those lanterns and grab some points.
- 8:53Unlike the rings, only the first player gets the boys.
- 9:17And that's helicopter hustle. So let's take a whirl over to
- 9:21the results area. You look at that, we've got a
- 9:26draw. I know it's where I keep my hair
- 9:29dyed that I don't use. And by what strange means did
- 9:59our judges decide the turn order of the Tide players this time?
- 10:02I believe they asked the audience who they like the most
- 10:05and then ignore the results. Oh no, it's a loose stud space.
- 10:14Those things will SAP your studs as soon as look at you.
- 10:30That's a small look. They can make it up in the next
- 10:32minute. It's time to exercise your
- 11:22democratic right to vote, even if you're a minor.
- 11:25In fact, especially if you're a minor to make up for all the
- 11:28homework, get ready for the all action golf game that knocks
- 11:36putt putt on it's butt butt. We're cranking up the rivalry on
- 11:40this one as all four contestants play simultaneously.
- 11:44And at the same time, because in our game, we don't care how many
- 11:48strokes you take. We just care who sinks their
- 11:50golf ball the fastest. So get your clubs ready because
- 11:54we're feeling golfy. Go.
- 12:30And in goes a second golf ball. And down goes 1/3 golf ball.
- 12:42And that is time, people. Let's go play another round.
- 12:45Go. And now player Three shows that
- 13:06they're just as good as anyone at sinking golf balls.
- 13:13Wow, that's a third golf ball suck.
- 13:18OK, let's move things on to the next course folks go.
- 13:33Player 1 proves their ability by sinking us up and that was the
- 13:37last shot of our tournament. So let's go check out the
- 13:40results before anyone calls a Mulligan.
- 13:44Well, what do you know, none of the shots ended up in the
- 13:47parking lot today. Great, so how am I meant to
- 13:50explain away all the damage to my car now?
- 14:07A reminder for the viewers at home that the players finishing
- 14:10position in a mini game not only determines how many studs they
- 14:13win. Entry to my park, maybe 3 but my
- 14:17golden bricks. Or not.
- 14:19And there we go, they've just nabbed the first golden brick of
- 14:22this game. I would play my trumpet in
- 14:24celebration, but it was curiously destroyed after the
- 14:28last time I played it. It truly is a mystery how that
- 14:32happened. I am so sad we'll never know the
- 14:35answer. Yes.
- 14:43Time to check the map and see where you might end up, I'd say.
- 14:48Oh, looks like they picked your favorite page.
- 14:51Obviously they're a very discerning player.
- 14:54Or they forgot to pack any swimwear.
- 15:11It's a free power up space where you can find a free power up.
- 15:18Layer 4 is next to move. Perhaps you'd like to buy a
- 15:43Shrini souvenir of your special day.
- 15:47Yes, You see, it's glittering worth, don't you?
- 15:50Good day. And another player joins club.
- 15:53I have a golden brick now. I bet it won't be long before
- 15:57another player joins it too. I hear they'll let just about
- 15:59anyone in. Well, not, not anyone.
- 16:15Victory is sweet candy. Corner it is.
- 16:18Just don't try eating the extractions this time, Ted.
- 16:50If you don't buy a golden brick, I may have to close the park
- 16:55down. Good job.
- 16:57Player 2, Absolutely. Now they've grabbed their first
- 17:00golden brick. They're off the starting line.
- 17:02Let's hope no one steals it and puts them right back on there.
- 17:06It's round 4. It's time to vote for the next
- 17:24mini game. Don't worry, you don't have to
- 17:26be over 18 to participate. No firm favorite, huh?
- 17:30No problem, we'll choose. You mean you'll choose, right?
- 17:36You know me so well. Buckle yourselves into your
- 17:38forklifts and prepare for some extreme G forces.
- 17:42Players have to speed along our slightly uneven race courses,
- 17:46getting as far as possible. While dropping as little of
- 17:49their load as possible. It's a big ask, but that's how
- 17:52we play forklift fumble. OK, so in each round the players
- 18:29scores will be figured out by taking the distance they've
- 18:31traveled. And multiplying it by the amount
- 18:34of boxes they're still carrying at the end.
- 18:36So either driving really carefully or really far.
- 18:40But if you can't, try to do both.
- 18:42Boy, the whole course is littered with boxes.
- 18:45What are they doing? Sure, they practically burned
- 18:49out their forklifts motor to get ahead, but they've lost a whole
- 18:52bunch of boxes. Second round and it's just going
- 19:03to get bumpier. That slope they've got coming up
- 19:06is no joke, although it will probably cause some laughter.
- 19:10I'm surprised at the tough speed of those things.
- 19:12They can really shift. You're almost out of time,
- 19:20people. Oh, one of our players has lost
- 19:23more than half of their boxes. They better hope they can go the
- 19:26distance. We're in the final round so make
- 19:38it count people. I think we might see a few drop
- 19:41boxes once they hit the speed bumps.
- 19:43I hope we can still get a refund on these things after the show.
- 19:54You haven't got long left, folks.
- 20:06And that's game over. So while the interns go pick up
- 20:09all the boxes. We're going to hand out some
- 20:11studs. It's hard to believe that round
- 20:15is actually based on a genuine forklift driving test.
- 20:18Because it's not true. That's right, yes.
- 21:06I hope the Penguins and Yetis can keep things civil today.
- 21:09They're capping off their turn with a free power.
- 21:13Nice. What's on the cards for this
- 21:20contestant, I wonder? Now are they going to?
- 21:50What do you know, you're skipping the chance of a free
- 21:53golden brick. Hey, hey, you can't go wrong
- 21:56with that one, my friend. And that's not a bad place to
- 22:04end their turn. Player 4 brings this round to a
- 22:06close. Do it.
- 22:10I want to see that flying Unicorn so bad.
- 22:19Of course, why wouldn't you pick the option with the magic
- 22:22Unicorn? It's happening.
- 22:52It's a lucky space where fortunate folks can win from a
- 22:55Galaxy of prizes. Well, about 6 prizes.
- 22:59Here comes round 5. Let's pick us a mini game,
- 23:10folks. And don't let anyone talk you
- 23:12out of your choice. Oh, if they can't decide, I
- 23:17guess we could just pick our favorite instead.
- 23:23Welcome to the game of pulverized pottery and
- 23:26gargantuan globes. 4 bases enter, only one vase leaves.
- 23:30Who's ready for some museum mayhem?
- 23:50321 Go look at those wonderful, priceless heirlooms.
- 23:58Oh, Player 1's face is out of here.
- 24:01Oh my goodness, that is a bit more serious than a hairline
- 24:05crack. Yep, that's what's the kind of
- 24:07damage where you can just turn the base around and hope nobody
- 24:10notices. Oh no, Player 3.
- 24:13That's the second base reduced to rubble.
- 24:16Can we make it 3 before the museum guards finally weighed in
- 24:19and stop us? And we have our winning base.
- 24:22Until next time, when odds are it'll definitely get smashed.
- 24:26But until then, let's go to the results.
- 24:29And our winner is player 4. Oh boy, that makes it two wins
- 24:34in a row. Should we just hand over the
- 24:36trophy now and call it a day? Because you really think they'll
- 24:40win or? Oh, you've got me.
- 24:47Here they go, leading the charge.
- 25:04A * 2 always makes for an interesting turn.
- 25:11A few more studs never go amiss. Except down the back of my
- 25:15couch. It is so uncomfortable now.
- 25:18I wonder how far that'll get them.
- 25:24It's the slippery Speedway where players have to yank a lever to
- 25:28stop a pacey Penguin and snag some studs.
- 25:34Do they really think they can make it to the top of the
- 25:36mountain? Personally, I'd have to stop
- 25:39halfway just for a breather. If it's the brick they want.
- 25:46Just like me, they didn't have the energy to make it all the
- 25:49way. Which means a very swift trip
- 25:51back to the bottom. Never mind, there's always an
- 25:54extra. And another contestant steps up
- 25:57to the plate. There's a lot of tasty looking
- 26:01numbers on their roller now. You should consider buying a
- 26:07golden brick. They also doubled as season
- 26:10passes for the park. Way to go player 3 getting.
- 26:14Hold of a golden brick at last must be quite a relief for them.
- 26:18They've still got an uphill struggle in front of them if
- 26:20they want to get to the head of the pack though, which is.
- 26:23So what part of the park do they want to visit?
- 26:30So what free power up is on the cards for them today?
- 26:36There's just one more contestant to go.
- 26:42A + 5 for when you absolutely, positively don't want to roll A1
- 26:46such. A great 12 there.
- 26:53Whatever they win, the important thing is that they try.
- 26:57Although the more every important thing is how many does
- 27:00they get? Now are they going to try to
- 27:02make a run up the mountain? Past all those Penguins with
- 27:05piles of snowballs, you mean. And they want that brick.
- 27:11Oh, and they've grabbed a free golden brick.
- 27:14But excitingly, it's immediately been replaced with another one
- 27:18for the next great player. We are giving away golden bricks
- 27:21like candy today. But don't eat them because they
- 27:25will break your teeth. Sweet, a free power up just in
- 27:39time for their next turn. Round 6, folks.
- 27:55It's mini game boating time people.
- 27:57Which would you choose, Ted? Is there one which requires
- 28:00superhuman dexterity? As it happens, there is.
- 28:04Anything but that then. It's time for players to soar
- 28:10through the air, grabbing as many points as they can.
- 28:13Before planting themselves into our massive bonus pack target at
- 28:17the end. Grab the right bonuses to get
- 28:20the highest scores. One turn each most points wins.
- 28:24This is aim to please. 1st for this game it's player 1.
- 30:26They've made a start, but they need to grab all the points they
- 30:29can. All right, time to start piling
- 30:44on the points, no? It's time for Player 2 to shine.
- 30:51A word of warning to our players, don't even think about
- 30:54trying to steal any of the crown jewels.
- 30:57Because of how tight security is, no.
- 30:59Because they hot the real ones to pay a tax bill years ago.
- 31:07Now let's see how many more points they can grab, no?
- 31:14Layer 3 is ready for take off now.
- 31:33That'll be the first point of many, I'm sure.
- 31:38No. Player 4 is last up.
- 31:56And they have nailed that final approach to not a finish.
- 32:01OK, someone grab a big ladder and get them down.
- 32:04From SO, we can see who grabbed the most points.
- 32:07Well done Player 4. What a performance.
- 32:11That's two wins in a row. It might be time to clear their
- 32:14mantelpiece for a trophy. And even if they don't win, it
- 32:17probably still needs dusting. Well, we should probably head
- 32:20back to the challenge zone and find out how these results
- 32:22impact the game there. 1st to move this round.
- 32:40They won the mini game, but will their luck hold out?
- 32:50Add five. That's what I do when people ask
- 32:53me my IQ just to get me into triple digits.
- 33:04Trust me, that's going to be a lifesaver.
- 33:13Are you sure those studs will come in handy soon enough?
- 33:20You should consider buying a golden Brick.
- 33:23They also double as season passes for the park.
- 33:28There's plenty of rounds left, so it's far too early to say
- 33:31who'll win. But just in case, I put my
- 33:34prediction in a sealed envelope and we'll see if I was right at
- 33:37the end. Is that why you asked me for
- 33:39four envelopes earlier? Well, don't tell everyone how
- 33:41the magic is done. Yes?
- 33:47Get ready to endo some gnarly grinds, folks.
- 33:51That doesn't even make sense, Ted.
- 33:53Spoken like a true dude. If you don't buy a golden brick,
- 34:22I may have to close the park down.
- 34:24That golden brick must seem extra shiny as it's given them
- 34:28the lead. I know which way I'd go, so they
- 34:37should probably choose the opposite.
- 34:44I feel the need to floss just looking at this place.
- 34:47It's a free power up space. So what do you think they'll
- 34:50get, Ted? Whatever it is, I say stick it
- 34:53on brick bed and here comes our final player for the round.
- 35:04Do they really think they can make it to the top of the
- 35:07mountain? Personally, I'd have to smoke
- 35:09and they're going for gold. Oh no, that was the last place
- 35:15you wanted to land. Oh, and some of these free stud
- 35:21spaces come with a bonus prize. Oh, it's round 7.
- 35:28You're reading it right, folks. We're halfway through.
- 35:33Get ready for escalation time. Which means harsher penalties on
- 35:40these spaces. Higher rewards on these spaces.
- 35:44And higher rewards for the mini games.
- 35:56Vote for your favorite mini game, people.
- 35:59Or alternatively, vote for the one your rival likes the least.
- 36:03Yes, split vote. That means we get to choose.
- 36:10We're about to find out who can concisely accumulate carefully
- 36:13considered conveyances. Also, we're going to see who can
- 36:16count the cars the fastest. And the faster you can do it,
- 36:19the more points you get. Assuming your answers right in
- 36:23the 1st place, this is a rally tally.
- 36:59Go. We'll take it easy on you for
- 37:05the first round. By the way, if you count as you
- 37:07watch, it'll mean you can lock in your answer at the end even
- 37:11faster. It's time to lock in your
- 37:19answers and hope they're right. It's one thing to answer first,
- 37:31but to do that and get it right as well, that's the key to
- 37:35winning. We're bumping up the difficulty
- 37:40for the second round, so I hope you're ready.
- 37:42Remember folks, it's not very sporting, but you're totally
- 37:46allowed to shout out random numbers to put off the other
- 37:48players. The only reason we're not doing
- 37:50it is because we don't want you to turn us off in the options
- 37:53menu. Are they allowed to do that?
- 37:56Read your contract, Ted. Everyone got that right.
- 38:10I think this round might be too easy.
- 38:16Final round and the strategy I recommend for this one is
- 38:20copying someone else. Which doesn't work if you all do
- 38:23it. Quickly lock in your guesses.
- 38:32Answers. Sorry answers.
- 38:43I don't know how so many of you managed to get that right.
- 38:47Let's stop counting cars and start counting out studs.
- 38:51Carefully, though, can't afford to give away too many.
- 38:55Nicely done Player 2, you are our winner.
- 38:59In less good news, how about Player 3?
- 39:02Second time and last place. They need to pull something
- 39:05special out of the bag next time.
- 39:21Going first isn't always a guarantee of success, especially
- 39:25in this game. With a + 10 in the mix, the
- 39:28shortest turn we're looking now, are they going to try to make a
- 39:32run up the mountain? Cast all those Penguins with
- 39:34piles of up. They're after the brick.
- 39:39The speed they went up there, they made it look like a
- 39:42mountain has an escalator. Which it does, but it's for
- 39:45staff only. Oh dear, the unlucky space where
- 40:09players try to choose the least worst option.
- 40:12You know, like when you have to taste test cat food to get the
- 40:14right one. Up next, it's Player 1.
- 40:21It's at times 2 and there's nothing odd about that.
- 40:25I do not think. Are they off to see the flying
- 40:28Unicorn? What a surprise they chose the
- 40:42magic Unicorn option. It's.
- 40:46Happening. Everyone's getting involved here
- 40:50and the prizes are coming thick and fast.
- 41:04You've got to love the lucky's face.
- 41:06It's like a tombola full of awesome.
- 41:10Now what will this player do? Entry to my park, maybe 3, but
- 41:21my golden bricks are not and that's not a bad place to
- 41:46end their turn. Now what will our final
- 41:49contestant do? Whatever they roll, they're
- 41:52going to make tracks. Hey team, could they be
- 41:56considering not trying for the Golden Brick is quite a choice.
- 42:00Get ready to stop that rocket and score some stratospheric
- 42:03stunts. But you'll have to hit the
- 42:05button at just the right time to get the biggest prize.
- 42:16I hope that's a real big help for you.
- 42:18You have a nice day now. Perhaps you'd like to buy a
- 42:28training souvenir of your special day.
- 42:42If they need studs or power ups, there's plenty down here at the
- 42:45park entrance. Although taking another trip
- 42:47round the park means more opportunities for free golden
- 42:51bricks. I thought you picked that one.
- 42:56It's my favorite too. Contestants, you need to vote
- 43:12with your feet. Hey, hey, everyone's on the same
- 43:18page. Or rather, everyone's on the
- 43:20same little square platform. Doohickey.
- 43:24It's the game where we balance everyone on top of balls.
- 43:27And balance those balls on top of a tower.
- 43:30With crocodiles at the base, no. No, we had to remove those.
- 43:34Remember the memo? And there goes our first player.
- 44:52Only two more eliminations and we'll have our winner.
- 44:59That will have probably left the score tomorrow.
- 45:05Oh no, Player 2, they've actually fallen off.
- 45:09Damn damage was wreck and brawl. Well, somebody had a double shot
- 45:13of espresso before the show. Let's check out the results.
- 45:16Nice job player one. Oh well, deserved win.
- 45:20Talk to me about player three though, Ted.
- 45:22That is their second time in last place.
- 45:25I hope they're not getting comfortable there.
- 45:37Our first player here, fresh from the mini game.
- 45:42Who is that in play? We might be looking at a long
- 45:45turn here. Dad, there are 4 results which
- 45:48justify the use of the times 2 and that was none of them.
- 45:55Good luck with that friend. I really hope it sparks joy.
- 46:03Who else slather me in low calorie mayonnaise?
- 46:06It's a lucky space. But how lucky?
- 46:09That's up to our contestant. I'd cross my fingers for him but
- 46:12I don't have any. They won't get out of the park
- 46:20down there, but they could pick up some great prizes.
- 46:23Or they can take another lap around the park.
- 46:28Now what's in store for Player 2?
- 46:34At times 2 I love it. That's 16.
- 46:40I get the feeling they're going to be happy they had that times
- 46:432 on hand. Do it?
- 46:46I want to see that flood up. I don't know that I could turn
- 46:49down a chance like that. In Sweet Spinner you get
- 46:52multiple spins on the Wheel of luck.
- 46:55But it's not all good luck, so don't stop on the zeros.
- 47:17I hope it wins the game for you my friend.
- 47:27Perhaps you'd like to buy a Shrini souvenir of your special
- 47:31day. It's an unlucky space where it
- 47:53doesn't matter what you win because you're actually going to
- 47:56lose. And here's the last contestant
- 48:05to take their turn. It's wheel of studs where you
- 48:14get four chances to add some studs.
- 48:17But if you're not careful, you might end up winning nothing.
- 48:31Will this round be as action-packed as our others?
- 48:34Let's find out. Contestants, you need to vote
- 48:43with your feet. But that doesn't mean you should
- 48:46leave. Look at that, they all agreed.
- 48:54It's time to put the pedal to the metal in a no holds barred
- 48:57race to the finish. Or if you forget to steer
- 49:00straight into a wall. So watch out for tight turns and
- 49:04hazards of plenty. And even more importantly, the
- 49:06other players. This is Rumble Rally.
- 49:2832 Go go The lights are green. Go go go.
- 49:34I'm not sure if that crash was deliberate or accidental, but
- 49:37either way it sounded expensive. They are not going to win this
- 49:43race by spectacularly ramming their car into the wall like
- 49:46that. But they might win our hearts.
- 49:49Check out layer 2. Goodbye.
- 49:51Last place it's been real. Take a look at layer 3.
- 49:55They've taken pole position, it's the final lap.
- 49:59That wasn't exactly a polite nudge there.
- 50:05And what a rumble Rally Rally. Let's check out how everyone
- 50:08did. It just goes to show that while
- 50:15Rumble Rally might have tiny cars, it's got big thrills.
- 50:19Truer words have never been spoken, Paige.
- 50:36Oh, and watch out because not one, but two thieves have just
- 50:40shown up on what I'm assuming are not their own boats.
- 50:44I love it when they show up here.
- 50:45I can already taste the chaos and it is delicious. 1st to go
- 50:50is player 1. With a lucky 8 it's All or
- 51:17Nothing 12-8 or One, but that's less catchy.
- 51:35Do they take a risk or do they take the safe path, assuming
- 51:39there is a safe path. I know which one of those power
- 51:41ups I'd go for. No, changed my mind already.
- 51:45Uh oh, they've got their hands on one of our new half flip
- 51:49power ups. Fill the good people in, Ted.
- 51:52Gladly, Paige players can use a path flip to reverse direction
- 51:56of an entire corner of the park. Just imagine the chaos you can
- 51:59wreak with that. I am and I'm loving it.
- 52:03Of course if another player has a path flip, they can flip that
- 52:07section right back if they want. Or just make more chaos.
- 53:01The Lucky 8, also known as the Super Unlucky 1.
- 53:09Could they be considering going for goal?
- 53:11Oh, they're going brickward? That does not look like an easy
- 53:16job, Ted. They did not land that one.
- 53:24That is such bad luck. Well, someone knows a bargain
- 53:39when they see it. It's a lucky space.
- 53:46And don't worry, because all of that luck is the good time.
- 53:50Round 10. Mini game voting time.
- 54:04It comes earlier every year. What a choice.
- 54:10Oh yeah, that gains everyone's favorite.
- 54:13Well, everyone except our legal department.
- 54:15So many settlements. It's the game of flinging lances
- 54:19and floating horses. Can you eliminate all your
- 54:22opponents before they take you out instead?
- 54:24The only way we'll find out is by playing fancy Lancy.
- 55:11321 go. Player 4.
- 55:21They're the first contestant to get hit, but they won't be the
- 55:24last. Well done Player 2.
- 55:27And that is a textbook Lance throw, even though I'm fairly
- 55:31certain you don't usually throw lances.
- 55:33Player four look out. They're on their last life.
- 55:37It's time for them to start playing defensively, or at the
- 55:40very least better. What in the world is Player 4 up
- 55:46to? If only the idea was they hit
- 55:48the walls with their oh player 2.
- 55:50What's the story with Player 1? The way those lances keep
- 55:54missing everyone. Oh, player 1.
- 56:01Look at that everyone turn your lances in because we are done.
- 56:05Let's go sort the Knights from the naves in the results area.
- 56:09I hope they aren't too sort from all that horse riding.
- 56:12Or having lances thrown at them. All right, Yeah.
- 56:25Layer 3 is first up to bat. You should consider buying a
- 56:35golden brick. They also double as season
- 56:39passes for the park. And with that brick, they take
- 56:42the lead. What a good golden brick.
- 56:45Someone give it a sauce or a milk.
- 56:50The advantage of not going first is that you've already lost the
- 56:53mini game, so people won't be expecting too much of you.
- 57:03I'm not sure how lucky those eights are when there's seven of
- 57:06them to choose from. Free power up space.
- 57:17This is like a lucky dip except the prizes aren't garbage.
- 57:20I'm. Telling you those are lucky
- 57:22gifts. They're trash cans.
- 57:25You're just jealous of that Apple core I won.
- 57:28Could they be considering going for gold?
- 57:31And do they have the extreme sports game they're heading for
- 57:34the goal now? Will they pull off a gnarly move
- 57:38or just pull a muscle? And they're over.
- 57:47That's a relief. This is a big loop and they
- 57:52build up enough speed to make it all the way around.
- 58:18That should help them buy something useful.
- 58:21Dragging their heels. It's player 2. 5678 What do we
- 58:27appreciate? High Roller.
- 58:29High Roller although it doesn't actually feature A5.
- 58:32Sorry up entry to my park. Maybe 3 but my golden bricks on
- 58:38block. This is so exciting.
- 58:42We really don't know who win this game at the moment.
- 58:45Although we do have a fairly good idea of who won't.
- 58:49If they need studs or power ups, there's plenty down here at the
- 58:52park entrance. Although taking another trip
- 58:54round the park means more opportunities for free golden
- 58:58bricks, they're caping off their turn with a free power.
- 59:04Nice. It's round 11, folks.
- 59:09We are getting very close to the finish line.
- 59:20These are the games you know what to do.
- 59:23And if you don't, then maybe try guessing.
- 59:26Look at that, The Boats, 5050. Learn to count Paige.
- 59:31There aren't 100 players. Percentage, Ted.
- 59:34Oh, right, my bad. I'll let you choose the winner.
- 59:37It's time for Perfect Pillars, the game of quick construction
- 59:41and rapid reactions. Line those layers up as well as
- 59:44you can. Or your chances of success will
- 59:46get slimmer and slimmer. So grab some bricks and let's
- 59:50get building. None of these things have to
- 59:52pass any safety inspections, right?
- 59:54I hope that 3/2. One go.
- 1:00:05So how would you rate yourself as a perfect Pillars player,
- 1:00:08Ted? Not that great, I'm afraid.
- 1:00:10Oh sure, the first floor is fine, but the second?
- 1:00:13It's bon voyage to our first competitor.
- 1:00:15Risky. Times for player 4.
- 1:00:18They Rove out. And with a heavy heart, we
- 1:00:19bidded you to another contestant.
- 1:00:22That's it, We're done. We have a victor.
- 1:00:26Let's go look at the overall results.
- 1:00:31And Player 1 is our winner. Oh, but bad luck to player 3,
- 1:00:36huh? That's another last place
- 1:00:40finish, but I just know they're going to turn it around soon.
- 1:00:451st to play this round it's player 1.
- 1:01:33Not sure why they've lived an area with no one in it, but I
- 1:01:36guess we'll find out. I know which one of those power
- 1:01:50ups I'd go for. Nope, changed my mind already.
- 1:01:55Now let's see how this contestant's term goes.
- 1:02:01Throwing down at times 2, that's a tasty, tasty move.
- 1:02:11Now how about we make your day out at the park even more
- 1:02:14special? Here comes our next contestant.
- 1:02:56Melbourne Army. The real fuck could be game eh?
- 1:03:18Where someone's buying a serious game on today.
- 1:03:29The good thing about stealing a golden brick is that not only do
- 1:03:32you have one more golden brick, someone else has one less.
- 1:03:36It really is a win win situation, except for the person
- 1:03:39who lost the brick. Hang on, there's something else
- 1:03:57with these free studs. It's a free prize, and it didn't
- 1:04:01cost anything. Last up, it's Player 3.
- 1:04:09This could make for an interesting turn.
- 1:04:11A very long, interesting turn. If you don't buy a golden break,
- 1:04:28I may have to close the park down.
- 1:04:42This is it, the final round. And excitingly, we've got a tie
- 1:04:47for first place. Oh boy, it's escalation time
- 1:04:52again. And that means even bigger
- 1:04:56losses on these spaces. Even better rewards on these
- 1:05:04spaces. And even more studs for each of
- 1:05:07the mini games. So what else is going to change
- 1:05:10on the board this time, Ted? Let's see, no surprises there.
- 1:05:14We're shutting all the shops. But what happens when someone
- 1:05:17lands on one of those chance spaces?
- 1:05:20Well, that probably will be a surprise.
- 1:05:34Time to vote for our final mini game.
- 1:05:40The final mini game choice is locked in.
- 1:05:43This is it folks. It's time to pick the odd one
- 1:05:48out, assuming you can remember which ones are in first.
- 1:05:52In read the instructions, you'll have a few seconds to remember a
- 1:05:55whole page of pieces. Then once it disappears, you
- 1:05:59have to figure out the one piece which wasn't shown on them.
- 1:06:02But find it fast because only the swiftest answers get the
- 1:06:06highest points. Go.
- 1:06:28So all they have to do is remember an entire page?
- 1:06:32Well, that's reasonable. Wow, this might be the smartest
- 1:06:41set of players we've ever had. Far answers and all of them
- 1:06:45right go. Oh, this is the very first
- 1:06:54project I was ever paid to put together back when I was in
- 1:06:57construction. You were in construction.
- 1:07:00How did that work out? Well, it was also the last
- 1:07:03project I was ever paid to put together, so you can probably
- 1:07:06guess. No, I would have totally got
- 1:07:10that with more time and an answer sheet.
- 1:07:17Here's another memory test. Good luck with it.
- 1:07:29I don't mind admitting that I actually got that one wrong.
- 1:07:32But I got it right. Oh no, did we body swap by
- 1:07:36mistake again? It's time to see who had the
- 1:07:39most rapid recollection. And who'd rather forget this
- 1:07:42game ever happened? Tell him, Ted.
- 1:07:47And player 4 gets the win. That's two wins in a row, and
- 1:07:51while it might be a coincidence, it might point to something more
- 1:07:55significant. A player who's discovering their
- 1:07:58inner potential. That or some faulty code.
- 1:08:14Well, they haven't flipped any of the other players with it,
- 1:08:17but I'm sure they've got a cunning plan.
- 1:08:32They won't get out of the park down there, but they could pick
- 1:08:35up some great prizes. Or they can take another lap
- 1:08:38around the park. Good idea a lot of people pass
- 1:08:43up. We're having a brick battle and
- 1:08:45that means playing A2V2 team based mini game where the lucky
- 1:08:49winners get a gold brick each. It's time for two teams to shoot
- 1:09:10shirts at frenzied fans, but it won't be easy.
- 1:09:14Because one player controls the angle of the T-shirt cannon.
- 1:09:17While the other controls how far the shirts are fired.
- 1:09:20Only the team with the best cooperation skills will win the
- 1:09:24shirt target. 321 go We're really lucky that
- 1:09:55our audience chose to wear great T-shirts today.
- 1:09:57It makes things way less confusing.
- 1:10:00I'm pretty sure we. Actually changed them into these
- 1:10:02shirts in preparation for this Roundhead.
- 1:10:04Oh right, that explains the time when we cut to them too early
- 1:10:08and got fined by the network for breaking their decency
- 1:10:11guidelines. Swing and this.
- 1:10:14That shot was definitely overcooked.
- 1:10:16I think that one went over the head of the intended target.
- 1:10:20They clearly didn't put enough power behind that shot.
- 1:10:27They judge the distance spot on. It's the aim that let them down.
- 1:10:39And that's your target. Now, while security tries to get
- 1:10:43the shirts back off the audience, let's take a look at
- 1:10:45the results. Time's up, folks.
- 1:10:48Now that's what I call a game of dress up.
- 1:10:51Let's go give our commendable customers some golden bricks.
- 1:11:08That golden brick must seem extra shiny as it's given them
- 1:11:11the lead. That times 2 could double their
- 1:11:42range this turn. Boy, using a * 2 and then
- 1:11:52rolling 8 or less awkward. I bet everyone's got stacks of
- 1:12:07stuff just steal by now, haven't they?
- 1:12:12Oh, a golden brick? Now you're talking what sort of
- 1:12:23person steals a golden brick from the person with the least
- 1:12:26of them? It's a valid tactic.
- 1:12:28Break their will, and maybe they'll give up entirely.
- 1:12:31And there it is, folks. That's your depressing thought
- 1:12:33for the day. And with that brick, they take
- 1:12:36the lead. What a good golden brick.
- 1:12:39Someone give it a sauce or a milk.
- 1:12:40With a move like that in the final round, they could have
- 1:12:43this whole thing wrapped up. Not only wrapped up, but it
- 1:12:46could even have a lovely bow in the box too.
- 1:12:49And maybe a gift tag. Possibly it comes with a nice
- 1:12:51card as well. I think I may have lost track of
- 1:12:54this analogy. Get ready for an exhilarating
- 1:13:11speed climbing platform placing 2 versus 2 contest.
- 1:13:14It's a full pelt race to the top of the wall so you can hit the
- 1:13:18big red buzzer and claim victory.
- 1:13:20But with one player building the platforms and the other
- 1:13:23climbing, you'll have to work smart and fast.
- 1:13:26Get yourselves ready, because it's Rock Climb Blaster.
- 1:14:14You can't hang about in this game.
- 1:14:15As soon as you can go for a jump, you've got to go for it.
- 1:14:19It's like they say, leap before you look.
- 1:14:21Other way around, Ted. Well, that's explained a lot of
- 1:14:24my sprained ankles. I just want to take a moment and
- 1:14:27say how impressed I am with the set they built for this game,
- 1:14:30Ted. Oh yeah, the way the wall sinks
- 1:14:32through the floors, our teams climb them.
- 1:14:34I got to say, I'm a fan. Sewing, I are downstairs.
- 1:14:38Neighbors, though? Not so much.
- 1:14:41The end is insight for Team One. Team Two, it's now or never.
- 1:14:46Remember, those bricks won't just fit anywhere, folks.
- 1:14:48Aren't. Oh, and that foul?
- 1:14:50Seems we have a winner. What incredible teamwork.
- 1:14:54Let's take this party to the results area.
- 1:14:58They've hit the buzzer and won the race.
- 1:15:00We have our winning team. And our winning team has a pair
- 1:15:04of golden bricks. That golden brick has allowed
- 1:15:24them to pull ahead even. Further, but no lead is
- 1:15:27unassailable, is it? I don't know, considering their
- 1:15:30lead, there aren't that many rounds left in this game.
- 1:15:45That plus five will give them an even bigger reach than usual.
- 1:15:56This one's all about the timing. They've landed on a lucky space,
- 1:16:13so clearly they're already lucky.
- 1:16:15And the final player takes their bow.
- 1:16:23Remember, you've always got a handy dandy map you can check.
- 1:16:34I'm sure those studs will come in here.
- 1:16:35And that was the final turn of the final round.
- 1:16:39Oh my goodness, what an incredible game.
- 1:16:42Should we head back to the studio and share the final
- 1:16:45results? Yes, please.
- 1:16:55Welcome back to the studio. Oh boy.
- 1:16:58Now that was a game. Yeah, let's get our players back
- 1:17:02in here, huh? OK, Let's not keep them waiting.
- 1:17:09Ted, how did everyone do? Coming in a mere 3 places away
- 1:17:13from first place, it's player 4. What?
- 1:17:19I demand a recount. And I demand a copy 3 sugars and
- 1:17:24in 3rd place it's player 2. There's nothing wrong with third
- 1:17:31place. It's the best place you get.
- 1:17:33Any higher than that and you start to set unreasonable
- 1:17:36expectations. Your work ethic suddenly makes a
- 1:17:39lot of sense, Ted. So this is it, the reveal of our
- 1:17:42first place player, and that player is player 1.
- 1:17:52And so second place goes to player 3.
- 1:18:00Come on, bring in that trophy. My goodness though,
- 1:18:06congratulations to all our players, you were amazing.
- 1:18:10They really were very special. I don't think I'll ever forget
- 1:18:14this show until the next one. Okay, we're out of here last.
- 1:18:36One out. Turn off the lights, Kate.
