- 0:13Good morning, friends and friends, I am Julio Pérez and this is the
- 0:21train of life, a radio adventure along the routes of the heart. I
- 0:27want to invite you to travel with me and dream together in a better world,
- 0:34a different world where men and women of good will can live in peace
- 0:38and freedom. The train of life is a magaxin of good news and hope.
- 0:48This is a radio time specially designed for people like you and like so
- 0:54many truth seekers, of the only truth that can make us authentic free come
- 1:00I invite you to travel with us on the safest train of all, which
- 1:08will definitely take you to safe harbour. This is the train of life.
- 1:38Or very good morning, Spain, good day, friends and friends, tireless
- 1:57travelers of this three, of this epic train, the train of life,
- 2:01a living parable, like life itself for thirty- two years, already traveling
- 2:07through the children of the human soul and the most loving routes of the heart.
- 2:14Today we have very good friends among us. Don' t miss it,
- 2:17let' s go with me, let' s go there or d
- 3:47o o. Ladies and gentlemen, yes, here we are. Wow.
- 4:00This is an exciting, fast- paced train. Life is like that,
- 4:05well, sometimes life has so many requieves. Look at this is a parable
- 4:12of life, because a train trip suggests many things, external landscapes. While
- 4:18we are sitting comfortably on the train, especially on the bird today, not
- 4:24being told to the Minister of Turn, who is arguing the issue with competitors,
- 4:30but the thing is that it goes very well, very comfortably. Different
- 4:39trains, the albian bird, the bad euromet, so many good trains and
- 4:46we go traveling and we go looking at the outside, the landscapes, a
- 4:51lot, a lot of field through and many times populations and many curiosities that
- 4:59one is meditating on himself with his things and the trajines, the mental rus
- 5:03rum, but others good, at a given time, we have a newspaper,
- 5:09a period of paper. I read digital newspapers every day from four to
- 5:12five digital newspapers, but sometimes I like to have when I travel by train,
- 5:15buy one or two paper newspapers and read the newspapers and read a book.
- 5:23I read my Bible that I carry it too and prefer to read it
- 5:29on paper as I have it here too that I have this volume Faximil,
- 5:35which is the new two thousand twenty of the biblical partner. This is a
- 5:38jewel, uh, and there is already a little touch- up in this
- 5:43new edition, nothing that is orthographical, but bad, almost unrecognizable, but
- 5:49that, as we are so purist, I say because I am part of
- 5:57the board of biblical society and always look carefully at everything, because it is
- 6:00there reading my Bible and enjoying it. I recommend to you about that,
- 6:05the two thousand and twenty, which is masterful, among others, for us,
- 6:12our Bible at the head. So what happens, because you' re
- 6:18reading, you also have your iPad or your tablet, of course or your
- 6:24laptop. A lot of people go to work, obviously have built- in
- 6:30Internet or the WiFi from the train, that the Trein also has wi figense,
- 6:34we have everything on the trip and then a coffee or you bring it
- 6:39already I take a drop of water, but I like to go to the
- 6:45wagon, to the bar and have a coffee on the train, a coffee
- 6:49there and then, well, sometimes I travel in a single person seat,
- 6:56because it does not give for itself so much. But if there' s
- 6:58someone next door, maybe people don' t want to talk. Usually,
- 7:00not this one you' re going to want, but I do try to
- 7:06engage in a minimal conversation. Some people go more and sometimes find you people
- 7:13who tell you about life and you tell them your stuff too and that'
- 7:16s life. That' s life. So you don' t go and
- 7:20come, you carry your luggage according to where you go or for how long
- 7:26you go. So, that' s the way it goes. So,
- 7:29this is the train of life. It' s a living parable, for
- 7:33today we' ll be here with very good friends. Who will be with
- 7:35us. Look, we' ve got José Valladolid. He is the president
- 7:40of the Challenge Challenge association. In many of the local centers of return is
- 7:46called Challenge to hope. Challenge is a well- known organization. I know
- 7:50from hearsay and have ever seen Don Raimundo, who was the founder, an
- 7:55Insignian man who is alive is still many years old, but he has a
- 7:59lot of very brave energy. Very enterprising and well, I have very good
- 8:03friends who were in challenge and that some of them are part of our network
- 8:09of pastors today, but others who are there at the front, as is
- 8:13the case of José Valladolid, a really close man, will check it out
- 8:18and we want to know a little that good job that challenge is doing.
- 8:22The challenge is an organization that does its work and does not care if their
- 8:28prestige and such have it for what they do, for the fruit that is
- 8:33seen, but they are very good workers in all the headquarters and the truth
- 8:39work at the level of autonomous communities, work internationally in many countries and want
- 8:46to know a little inside who is who. And in Don José Valladolid,
- 8:50a little bit the current President, who many years ago, entered into a
- 8:54challenge and he has assumed the presidency for a few years. And also,
- 8:58because we want to know in depth about their performance, they work on humanitarian
- 9:05projects of all kinds and tell us about them. We want to know why
- 9:07it is an international Spanish organization. Let' s go there and then we
- 9:16' ll have a guest in the second part as well. Osvaldo Rebolleda ores
- 9:22va Rebra. He is a master of the word, a great teacher Look
- 9:28have his page Osvaldo Rebolleda, want to remember, can access and have an
- 9:35endless list books, but great and the big thing is that they are free.
- 9:41It is pure generosity with subjects of all kinds and it is a man.
- 9:46I met him recently, knew him by hearing from my good friend,
- 9:50Pastor Antonio Ventas there in Orihuela, but I met him personally on my last
- 9:56trip and made such a pleasant impression. He travels today, returns to Argentina,
- 10:01to his hometown, and he travels constantly. He is a lecturer and
- 10:09international and a man to listen to because he has a truly apostolic ministry.
- 10:13Also without boasting anything does it because it goes with him and we will have
- 10:20the taste and we will talk about God' s unlimited resources. I choose
- 10:24the title because I think it suits him this resources. It' s just
- 10:28that God has resources, man. Whether God man or woman. If God
- 10:31does not have unlimited resources, who can have them other than him, not
- 10:37artificial intelligence, not God' s god. He is our God, our
- 10:41good God, and we will be with Don Osvaldo Rebolleta. Don' t
- 10:46miss it and how we don' t have it There has Arroyo that is
- 10:54not easy to our Spanish influencer, Basque pure, Cepa more international, magnificent
- 11:01speaker and he is that Hael, because he preaches in one way to talk
- 11:03of another. It does it' s trappings of this and good and Tiel
- 11:09is a genius and believe me it is Some say sometimes it wears out one
- 11:13of so much to let itself be seen and to talk if there are a
- 11:18few such and they are good speakers, among them they were before Gebel in
- 11:24another in another is a showman, but of the good ones actually look at
- 11:28God through this June I will hear it on a trip that I have to
- 11:30do to Madrid. One of those nights I' m there, I'
- 11:33ll be listening to ante gebl but I like it, I like its creativity,
- 11:37its ingenuity and, besides, the monologues it has are super cool.
- 11:39But back to itier creek, well, we' re gonna have it.
- 11:46Look You know that we have a congress here from 26 to 28 April,
- 11:50here in Reus, in Tarragón, in the area of Catalonia, in the
- 11:54Fira area, which is a gigantic pavilion where the great fairs that fit in
- 11:58more than four thousand people are held. Then we have on top an auditorium
- 12:03with seats also very nice for six hundred and fifty, that there we have
- 12:07the meetings of pastors, that there are already about five hundred elderly pastors,
- 12:11wives, leaders ofprime mainly pastors and pastoral leaders at this congress and you still
- 12:20have time to enter. We' ll have him there and we' ll
- 12:24be there too, but it comes as one to receive, he' ll
- 12:28have a stake in me. You have to have a plenary. There are
- 12:31four days, in fact, two and a half, but one for pastors,
- 12:35where he too will have a participation in a forum and of course not.
- 12:41He comes says I go to receive being there almost all weekend, Sunday.
- 12:46You have to be traveling now, you have to travel to the United
- 12:50States in a commitment you have, but we will have it and we will
- 12:56talk about it with the title that Congress has until he comes, referring to
- 13:01Jesus, I have titled it until Jesus comes? What' s going to
- 13:03happen? Until Jesus comes? Well, that' s what we' re
- 13:07talking about, and we' re also talking about Congress, the importance of
- 13:09who' s going to be there. Mark Brunet, one of the best
- 13:13- known composers in the Christian world. We sang their songs in almost all
- 13:16our churches. Lucas also consley who comes in the group to take your place.
- 13:24Mariano Sene also comes, as well or in a powerful precious word,
- 13:28that of Mariano, the director of the Institute Mission in Montegrande, there in
- 13:33Buenos Aires, and also Benjamin Núñez, a young man who is impressive to
- 13:39hear. The truth is that well, they are three swordsmen of the word
- 13:43plus and tiel Arroyo and we interviewed him. Don' t miss it,
- 13:46because this interview is interesting until Jesus comes with Itira Rroya here on the train
- 13:52of life and I remember again those who arrived good, but July, to
- 13:58inform me of this res of Congress until he comes at the end of April,
- 14:03he is barely fifteen days away, because Mira can enter three double uves.
- 14:09Period, until he comes, period is there you have all the information
- 14:13of a day of all Congress, the Precongress only for pastors and elders and
- 14:18wives, of course, in this case, the day before. But until
- 14:24he comes, that' s where they have all the information. And the
- 14:28last interview is very, very nice, very affectionate for all evangelicals and Protestants
- 14:33in the country. Look you know that we have a Evangelite hospital, from
- 14:39the evangelit Hospital in Barcelona, many years on Cameliez Street, Barrio, very
- 14:45very very Barcelona, a very interesting neighborhood, but well, that place was
- 14:50small enough years ago and thought was given to the construction of a new hospital,
- 14:56what has been called the Now Evangeli Hospital. The new Evangeli Hospital is
- 15:00the Evangelical Hospital Evangelit Hospital in Barcelona, because it was no longer new,
- 15:05it was the project and that is already a reality. I tell you to
- 15:07see, you are going to watch video in the interview, photographs and we
- 15:13are going to talk to your Director General, a very bold woman, who
- 15:18is a squalid king Director General and very bold for the whole process, as
- 15:22she has lived, as she has worked, as tied, with all the
- 15:26human team. There are also doctors, doctors and has a very interesting intermediate
- 15:35function, which is unusual. This hospital is going to have a large hospital
- 15:41and the architectural design of the hospital has attracted the attention of many architects of
- 15:46Barcelona, because it is very avant- garde, it is very original and
- 15:52very beautiful and in tune with the history of the city Condal and think that
- 15:58it is in the twenty- two arroa, in one of the best places.
- 15:58Now he deserved this project, a hospital more than a hundred years old.
- 16:03It was one of the hospitals that, when there was little hospital care,
- 16:10this hospital that then had to name it foreign colonies, help me clearly
- 16:14international, because good Francoism left it banned because it was Protestant, obviously not,
- 16:22but then it restored everything when democracy returned. And here they are now,
- 16:30for you will say so. He' ll tell us a little gualda
- 16:34kings and all that in these four characters that we' re going to have
- 16:40on the train of life and well some curious music that is always seasoned the
- 16:45program and more things don' t miss it. Come on, join me
- 16:48on this traveling train, which is the train of life. Here we go.

- 21:37consumption a Government of Spain if you want to visit our website wwwwwww. The
- 21:45train of life. The train of life. You two, ladies and gentlemen,
- 22:32for as we announced to you here we are on the train of life.
- 22:37This wagon I have called him the magisterial bum, because it is a
- 22:40place of luxury in the sense that they look when I hear people so diverse
- 22:45and with so many experiences and everything, each one comes from where it comes
- 22:51from, each one is, each one, as you say rat No.
- 22:53And we have here our friend, who is the current president of the Challenge
- 23:00Association in Spain and also challenge is in many countries of the world. He
- 23:07is popularly known as José Valladolid, but is José Manuel. Here we have
- 23:12him and he will tell us all his last name, welcome José Manuel.
- 23:15Thank you very much, thank you very much. Real name and surname,
- 23:19first name and surname José Manuel Monjero, Gómez Monjero, José Manuel Monjero and
- 23:25have Valladolid de Madina in the countryside more completely. That' s why he
- 23:29leaves it. It was the theory of the field and many years ago I
- 23:33was there, I was there in a campaign, passing by measure to the
- 23:41camp Valladolid, when I had just converted to Jesus. I was very young
- 23:45and I was still living Franco eh It' s the last years and it
- 23:48was the year seventy- three. Or something like that and I remember going
- 23:52through the villages doing with the portorado, offering bibles, new wills and a
- 23:59kind of magazine that was Billy Grahal' s Book of Peace with God,
- 24:03which we offered in the form of a magazine. And then, good for
- 24:07the will that the people wanted, and we were also in that town,
- 24:12in teams that we went with Eric Bermejo, Vicente Galán, who are some
- 24:18men of God, some of them already left with the Lord and then one
- 24:23of the anecdotes is that some of us took us the civil guard and took
- 24:30us to the barracks and some left him locked up because we were the Protestants,
- 24:36that we were spreading some revolutionary literature for the regime and it was very
- 24:45curious. Then Don Juan Gilly came and took out my friend Pedro Albala who
- 24:48was locked away for a couple of days. But how curious of that deep
- 24:56Spain. No, yes, yes, nowadays Valladolid has very pretty. Yes,
- 25:02but then there was I want it to be the Assembly of Brothers.
- 25:04It seems to me that it was the only church in Valladolid, because curiously
- 25:10continues my friend Luis Fagardo, yes girda, the Director General of Biblical Society.
- 25:15I remember because my family had a bar. And, well, from
- 25:22when I became a Christian, for I asked, I say, why have
- 25:26I never met a Christian? And it was one day I remembered, I
- 25:33mean, but right next to the bar there was a little window like a
- 25:38window, where there was an open Bible. And well, it was an
- 25:42evangelical church, what happens is that I had never known it was a church,
- 25:47nor did I see the movement of a church people entering, that is,
- 25:52I did not know it. It was when I was Christian, when
- 25:56I was Christian, since I was able to approach and meet and well,
- 26:02in fact, I knew a lot of the people who were there, because
- 26:04they were people, because from there in the neighborhood not what, well it
- 26:10' s look, what stories and how the years have passed. And well,
- 26:11God' s work in Spain has grown immensely. No yes, it
- 26:15is, it is not comparable, but Valladolid has today very good churches.
- 26:21But today I agree that my good friend is from that very old church,
- 26:26from the Assemblies of Brothers, which was a very powerful missionary movement for Spain
- 26:32in the past. Well, then, as to how you came to know
- 26:36Jesus in what way, what happened in your life. Well, as at
- 26:42that time, in the 1980s it was years when Spain, well, had
- 26:49a very important drug addiction problem. I, well, the truth is,
- 27:00you could pretty much say I had a pretty successful life. I had a
- 27:06very good job. I' m into basketball downstairs and, well, I
- 27:11didn' t have much, I mean, practically no contact with everyone in
- 27:17this world. But for one reason or another, for friendships, for certain
- 27:22issues, I began to relate and well, with which, after three or
- 27:27four years I ended up hooked to heroin. Well, this came to me
- 27:37to have some income in the hospital in very bad condition and already one of
- 27:42the times, well, they told me that I had to find a solution
- 27:49to the problem I had then in Spain. The only thing they could say
- 27:55to me was the work the Patriarch was doing and I challenge, I was
- 28:00there, in Valladolid. And, well, challenge was free the Patriarch,
- 28:04so the decision was easy to make. And, well, then, I
- 28:11went to challenge. And, I don' t know, I don'
- 28:17t know how it happened. Not always that I have to think of that
- 28:21time I see as a grace, as one thing, an extraordinary miracle,
- 28:29because I did not have, I was not looking for God, I had
- 28:36no interest in the things of God. Well, I could just admit that
- 28:40I had a drug problem and that' s what I came here for,
- 28:45but little by little, something was happening in my life and well, in
- 28:52a matter of less than three months, I could say that I was a
- 28:55Christian. I went to my house and already went to my house with a
- 29:00change in my life, with a transformation, having been born again because I
- 29:04was someone else and not because of what I experienced, but because of what
- 29:11they could say to my own family. Not from me, then I saw
- 29:15a reality of what God did in my life. So that was my experience
- 29:22in finding the Lord and also my experience in terms of my entry into challenge,
- 29:29and I had no long- term plans, but also a time when
- 29:37I felt that God wanted to do something in my life, here in the
- 29:41work, in challenge. And since then, here I am and have been
- 29:48since the year eighty- seven I arrived, for it is already how many
- 29:56years, well, look, it is about forty years, the thirty-
- 30:04seven exactly if you have a wife, you have a family, yes,
- 30:11I married here in challenge. I also met my wife here and I have
- 30:15other children. Gee, he hears what, four grandkids, four grandkids,
- 30:19or this steals our hearts. Hey, how important it is when you feel
- 30:26involved. Well, you could have been there, like so many others have
- 30:30done and gone somewhere else to make an ordinary life in everyday life and not
- 30:37so. But how important it is that you understood to be part of the
- 30:45proactive, to recruit yourself into the army of challenge to reach out to others
- 30:51and to continue helping and helping until today and indeed congratulations, because it is
- 30:56to be thanked, because if there were no such people and well, there
- 31:03would not be that vanguard help that there is in the centers as a challenge,
- 31:07for example, you spoke of the Patriarch. I remember in the eighties
- 31:10we and here in Barcelona, when we received the charismatic experience and such we
- 31:17started a new community, that we came from the assemblies of brothers. Also
- 31:21and I remember that the boys were dying in the night so and we broke
- 31:29our heart and several in the street, in the neighborhood of Horta, and
- 31:33well adopt it as my new neighborhood. And the truth is, and we
- 31:41set up a center with a brother who senses us in a house. Then
- 31:45we bought, as we could a piece of land and there we were almost
- 31:52ten years and some of the leaders are still there working and then we transferred
- 31:56it. But really all there was back then was the patriarchs, but the
- 32:02patriarch was a sect. Actually, it was a sectarian group. As for
- 32:07the dynamics that were there, I remember, I can' t tell you,
- 32:14I can' t tell you. All right, so I' ve
- 32:15met a lot of people who' ve been there, had friends and disappeared.
- 32:21Yeah, yeah, she disappeared when Lucin the Mayer gene died. Well,
- 32:28it started to divide a lot. It' s just that there'
- 32:32s a big difference. I don' t mean, I don' t
- 32:35know. No, I never knew Lucin Engel Mayer, I don' t
- 32:38know his vocation his longing. But of course, when such a charismatic figure
- 32:45disappears to the rest of the people, or has a very important vocation,
- 32:52or if not, in the end the questions of money or and from this
- 32:55it disintegrates itself, unlike what happens in a center as a challenge, that
- 33:02there is a Christian implication. There' s an implication as to your dedicated
- 33:08life, and that' s not one person' s, it' s
- 33:14a lot of people. So, that' s why, well, I
- 33:16can be or not be. And a challenge will continue to work, because
- 33:22with the people who are at heart and who have given their lives to Lord
- 33:25Yes, what happens is that I mentioned only this detail, because there were
- 33:30no centers almost then and clearly the people or decanted that and we, when
- 33:36we saw what we saw, we said we will do what we can.
- 33:39Some also came from the world, from the street, from drugs, and
- 33:43I too came from the rabal and problems too and that gave us a vision,
- 33:47a little closer, but there was almost nothing. So that' s
- 33:53why it' s good that organizations already appear as challenge and good and that
- 34:00says, we' ve done the raymundo of an entire character, the well
- 34:02- founded character. Yes, he was a missionary in Mexico, he went
- 34:07there with his whole family and from there, then also by a personal call.
- 34:16They ended up arriving here in Spain. And I think that the year
- 34:22eighty- three eighty yes out there and in the year eighty- five is
- 34:27when they get a little bit, let' s say the stones, the
- 34:34foundations, a little bit of the work in the association. They first start
- 34:37catching people in their house and then they rent a house and in Santander,
- 34:44and there they start catching people, with the idea of that, of not
- 34:51going further, of being able to have that house and where to catch people.
- 34:55Which happens to be clear right away. It became small and there was
- 35:00the need to go to other places until what is now challenging, not that,
- 35:07because it is in many of the regions of Spain and in thirty countries
- 35:13abroad. Not good, well with an important presence in some of the countries,
- 35:21very important, very solid. Come on, yeah, well, then
- 35:25they were, obviously, in those years and centers like Remar, like Bettel
- 35:31or Cerma and so on, were appearing. But challenge, what I have
- 35:35observed is a sustainable trajectory and it goes on, no and then that'
- 35:40s interesting and until today and that' s still going on. And well,
- 35:45and that speaks now what I do seem to understand and detect that the
- 35:52needs of young people who have addictions among themselves to drugs, sex, other
- 35:57issues and networks and who are sick, have varied a little bit truth,
- 36:02yes, yes, obviously, the design drugs that are now affecting very differently.
- 36:15There are other kinds of additions, as you well said, there are
- 36:21also people who are simply people in need, battered women, women with problems.
- 36:29Then it' s about being able to offer an opportunity, a way
- 36:36out to anyone who needs it. What is true is that it' s
- 36:39like the issue of drugs, heroin and all this always comes back, always
- 36:45comes back. It seemed like that was a subject that was getting a little
- 36:51bit parked, but now, since in the United States there is a problem
- 36:58with hospital drugs, the frantanillo and other types of drugs that are gradually spreading
- 37:07and already in Spain you find people with this type of methadone die in their
- 37:12time, something good, but yes, but this is much more powerful.
- 37:17Also, with a very fast progression, in very few days you are practically
- 37:25hooked and shattered. Geez how many dangers and how many human stories of men,
- 37:32women, young and not so young, you see human dramas of real
- 37:38good, you live it on the front line, as was your case and
- 37:43that of so many others, who better, who better than the one who
- 37:49has lived it, but then they pass in front of you in eight hundred
- 37:52so many cases. Some pass and disappear and leave, but others remain because
- 37:55they have no life expectancy. They' re doomed to die if they don
- 38:04' t take it seriously, at least recovery. When you know Christ.
- 38:07This is really a vital ingredient. Not so, without disregarding the work that
- 38:17other people do, for example, the work that makes alcoholics, anonymous the
- 38:24vision in the end is that you are an alcoholic all your life and you
- 38:30have to live as an ex- alcoholic, as someone who has problems and
- 38:37who has to be there constantly vigilant to that situation. We, but mainly
- 38:44because of what God does in our lives, do not believe in that the
- 38:50possibility of a new person, of a new birth, of a person who
- 38:55has had a problem and who has had a not- good victory. There
- 39:00are things we all need to take care of and we already know the consequences.
- 39:07No, but I believe in a new man, a completely renewed person
- 39:13in a person who did, who had a problem, but that' s
- 39:20already like an old nightmare, not that already happened. And there is a
- 39:28victory in Christ, evidently, but there is a victory. This seems very
- 39:35interesting to me that you think about this myself that sometimes groups of alcoholics come
- 39:40here. Right now, your work is very much appreciated. Yes, that
- 39:43was founded by a gospel Christian who had the problem of addiction to alcoholism than
- 39:49alcoholism. I realized when we had the center at that time. The problem
- 39:54we had the most serious to detoxify people was with alcohol. Alcoholism was more
- 40:00serious than heroin addiction in many cases. Okay, then. In any case,
- 40:07what they declare, I want to understand what they mean not I am
- 40:12an alcoholic all my life. Of course you seem to believe your self-
- 40:15stigma. No, I mean, it' s true that I have to
- 40:20be on guard all my life when I' ve been a gambling addict or
- 40:24whatever, obviously, but in Christ I' m a new creature and I
- 40:31can' t go saying I have a new identity and it' s a
- 40:36clear fact that you' re tired of developing. You can say that every
- 40:37time. I am a miserable sinner who I want to tell myself so that
- 40:43I am not not a repentant sinner, I am a redeemed sinner and I
- 40:50do not trust myself in my old nature, but I do trust in the
- 40:52new identity that God has given me in Christ. Sure, that' s
- 40:57the right idea. Those things, I mean, honestly, we' ve
- 41:01never been tempted again with drugs. I know that my nature, because it
- 41:09has dangers and has things and I have to take care, like any man,
- 41:15of many things, but specifically of those. Those. Not really.
- 41:20I don' t know it' s, as it seems, a dream
- 41:24and, above all, when you talk to someone, when you tell them
- 41:30that you, because they always ask you in the third person. Listen to
- 41:31those guys you have there and I say well, those guys. I was
- 41:35one of those kids and then people say it can' t be. I
- 41:39mean yes, yes, could it be? Yeah, maybe? Maybe?
- 41:43It might be good, and there are so many cases in the life challenge.
- 41:46I' m good. I see and admire those changes very much.
- 41:52I was I grew up in the raval of Barcelona and I was born.
- 41:53My brother was a dealer of camels or you were a proxinita look at the
- 42:00environment I lived in. I was not addicted to heroin, but I was
- 42:02a smoker of joints of those who had the cane that was to kill you
- 42:08at that time, so that I gave you a heart attack and alcoholism,
- 42:14a 13- year- old boy, fourteen fifteen until the eighteen that I
- 42:17met Jesus. And the truth is that I can say as You, Jesus
- 42:23changed my life substantially. It is true that there is a whole process,
- 42:28that there are struggles, that there are moments of crisis of transitions, but
- 42:35it was a real change and that I love. It' s not a
- 42:37real change. God' s power changes life. When You make a determined
- 42:42surrender to Christ and submit yourself to His project, it is not accurate.
- 42:46The other day I had to go to the hospital for one thing they had
- 42:52to look at me and I was wondering you baby, I say not since
- 42:59the year eighty- five. It' s no good anymore, and you
- 43:00smoke. I say not since the year eighty- five. He doesn'
- 43:06t take drugs or something. I say no since the year eighty- five.
- 43:08Was the man already saying what happened in the year eighty- five?
- 43:13I said I met Cristóbal and that or year eighty- seven forgiveness, I
- 43:19said I knew Christ and no longer had interest in any of these things.
- 43:22The man was a little amazed to say the year why he spent the year
- 43:27eighty- seven? Yes, yes, yes, yes, I wanted to
- 43:30know what things are not, but that there are other cases that cost them
- 43:35more and quiet and also there the Lord helps you, no, no,
- 43:38all the cases are the same, already, but that is true. God
- 43:42' s transformational power is so great for a life. And here we are,
- 43:47here we are, we are after thanks to God, for the pure
- 43:52grace of God, the grace of God. Hey And then the challenge is
- 43:55in several cities and in several autonomous communities of Spain. Yes, well,
- 44:02look to see less Castilla la Mancha, that there is no center in Castilla
- 44:07la Mancha and Navarra either. But in the rest of the autonomous communities we
- 44:16are in all, in some places with more presence, in others with less.
- 44:21But, yes, yes, and well, as I said before,
- 44:27we started in Santander, that is, it started in Santander and from there,
- 44:30it started to open in other places, in Alicante, in Huelva.
- 44:34Here in Barcelona And then, already, that' s when I started taking
- 44:40the step abroad Mexico. There was a special bond because raimundo, as it
- 44:49had been there, Russia, Russia, John had called to go there and
- 44:59today in Rus O, be it good, there is a very strong,
- 45:04very powerful implementation of the challenge. In fact, we were given a kind
- 45:10of diploma from that of the entire Russian Federation as the association with the greatest
- 45:20implantation or with the best work that was being done in the Russian Federation.
- 45:25I mean, there are countries that are working very well in others a little
- 45:31less, but nice. Listen to Don Raymundo you call him good you want
- 45:39him by my friend Juan, who is a pastor and come back today Juan
- 45:45return by axis José Valladolid, because here from Juan Cruz, who will surely
- 45:51be listening to you now the boss called him the river of the Chief and
- 45:55all the llais love Sainte you call him yes, yes, what man?
- 45:58Really, I' ve heard it two or three times directly now, recently,
- 46:02that he paid you a little tribute a little while ago. And what
- 46:07a man that these men, who are impellers, are admirable, are men,
- 46:13but who have dared to do what no one or anyone else does not
- 46:17do easily. That' s right, that' s right, thank God.
- 46:22Yes, there are people who good, who listen to God' s
- 46:28voice and pull forward without looking at the complications, the family things. Well,
- 46:36thank God. Now what we would like you to explain José Manuel,
- 46:44is what are the activities he develops in the different places? Well, from
- 46:53the beginning, or at the beginning, because we had like all the need
- 47:02to self- finance ourselves, but on the part of the government or the
- 47:13municipalities, because there was no such will, among other things, because I
- 47:17think they looked at us and said these are going to last two days.
- 47:21And in two days, then, because it was not worth investing anything in
- 47:24a project like ours. So, well, we saw ourselves in the need
- 47:31to self- finance ourselves, to do things to serve as self- financing,
- 47:42also to serve as some kind of occupational workshops, so that boys could
- 47:46learn trades. And so, look, we have traces of second- hand
- 47:53furniture stores that are restored, are also fixed electrical appliances, which we arrange
- 48:00and put into operation. Here, in Barcelona, we have a furniture factory,
- 48:12a workshop where you work with him, hotel producer. It' s
- 48:19restored, too. In other parts of Spain there are car scrappings in three
- 48:24sites, Santander, Valladolid and Asturias. There' s these scrappings. We
- 48:31also have here a place where we buy vehicles, restore them, fix them
- 48:38and put them on sale. We move. We also have a cattle ranch.
- 48:49We also have cows there, in Tarrasa, in a village in vila
- 48:53de cabas. Well, we touch different points, among other things, because
- 49:00not everyone likes the same things So, then, there are people who now
- 49:07come many people also older, and sometimes people who are a little bit of
- 49:10this kind of design drugs, because they come a little touched and mentally with
- 49:21difficulties. Then there are jobs they can’ t do, but it’
- 49:25s just as good to be with the one that the cows carry or the
- 49:31ones that care for the chickens or good to tend a garden or things.
- 49:34So, they can do it. They are occupational jobs, but they require
- 49:38minimal effort. Basically yes, yes, you don' t need to go
- 49:44in a truck and make a bigger effort. So well you seek to have
- 49:50something that suits each other' s situation and in this way we finance ourselves,
- 49:58not good abroad. They pretty much follow the line we have here,
- 50:07although sometimes there are a little country- specific or site- specific things,
- 50:12which may vary a little bit, but usually we all work the same way.
- 50:16So, of course, you work with women who are in single-
- 50:24parent neglect, who have families who need help, also in addictions, especially
- 50:30there are people who come to the centers, but then in different places you
- 50:36have different programs of humanitarian solidarity. There is a diversity of programs also social
- 50:40cinema. Yeah, yeah, well, sometimes in Mexico we usually do medical
- 50:49campaigns every year. We go to the indigenous area, we gather a group
- 50:57of doctors and dentists, as well as people, and we do a program
- 51:02of several days meeting a little local needs. We have also done that,
- 51:08it was done a few years ago in Ukraine. Well, you try to
- 51:15attend a little bit to the needs after the guys who are with us,
- 51:21who are in rehab, because many of them also have particular needs, health,
- 51:31different things, to have glasses, to be able to fix their teeth
- 51:38in a certain way. So you' re tending a little bit according to
- 51:45the needs that are being raised and looking for a way also for people who
- 51:52want to rehabilitate and redo their lives, because they can do it. Some
- 51:57want to continue to maintain a link with us and others, because sometimes maybe
- 52:02because of the place where they live or, because of other circumstances you no
- 52:08longer know about them. No, but, well, it' s true
- 52:14that when we' re talking about drug addiction, there are also people coming
- 52:20back, coming back again. But we have also seen in these years people
- 52:23that well, they have overcome the problem, they have remade their lives,
- 52:30they are with their families and they hear and what you know about them is
- 52:34that they are well two hundred. It' s hundreds and hundreds and hundreds.
- 52:37I know many who have been in challenge and are fine families lives.
- 52:45This is the result of good work. That' s the best paycheck.
- 52:52One cannot be received and indeed many of us are so happy. Now,
- 52:58by the way, making a parenthesis that you will surely hear this interview said
- 53:04at four in the morning. I can' t hear her. Our friend
- 53:07Manuel Sáncha, who was a missionary, became through challenge. He was also
- 53:12a missionary during a time in Mexico. He lost his arm out there in
- 53:16one of his adventures and misfortunes of life. But a seventy- two-
- 53:22year- old man has been working every year for a few years, about
- 53:25five years. He is devoting every year five months to go all over the
- 53:30indigenous mountain range to talk, to bring them scriptures and, therefore, to
- 53:37some goods for shopping and such. But what and this spirit acquired in the
- 53:44challenge. The one comes from air, he' s made a phenomer.
- 53:49Yeah, yeah, yeah, and how brave he is. Drive well the
- 53:52manco of the left arm, Drive with the right hand. He' s
- 53:57carrying a loaded mini van to the top. He unwraps the shepherd very well
- 54:01and with an energy and with a spirit of the lord and leaves the car
- 54:07and I don' t know where. Then they throw themselves in for two
- 54:12hours to get to some village. It means that this, this generation,
- 54:16has been born in the king, yes, yes, thank God. That
- 54:22motivates you a lot from the testimonies of people you know and others who tell
- 54:30you. Sometimes the other day we have been talking about some people who also
- 54:35told me, two of them who were pastors in churches and others here in
- 54:40Spain, others in Slovenia, were telling us about some. That is,
- 54:45you say well, yes, I do. The truth is that there is
- 54:51one thing that interests me, unless you explain it to us, because I
- 54:55believe that the Christian evangelical people has been prescind in caring for the marginalized,
- 55:04like few countries in the world, in the world, even in the Christian
- 55:07world, Except for this man who made Niki Cruz, the David Wilkerson,
- 55:15who made the centers, those who came, even were one of them in
- 55:19Spain, in Burgos many years ago. But apart from that, well,
- 55:25Christian centers as a challenge and so many others in Spain. This is,
- 55:34I think, a precedent, because there are communities like this in some parts
- 55:39of the world. But the standard- bearers were you because I had not
- 55:45informed myself, there was practically nothing, or almost nothing. No. No.
- 55:50The truth is that, because there too you see a little the grace
- 55:55of God people who at first acted as founders or is true. What it
- 56:06says is that I' ve traveled a lot and you don' t go
- 56:12to many countries where there are no such answers. I remember a while ago
- 56:16that I was called by the consul of the United States here, from Barcelona,
- 56:22and that I wanted to come visit, but I don' t explain
- 56:27myself or what. Well, there they showed up with the official cars and
- 56:31I came to clean everything up so they' ll get a good picture.
- 56:37And she was just saying no. Really, it doesn' t make me.
- 56:43If you want, I look at it, but it' s not
- 56:45like I don' t want to see anything. I want to talk.
- 56:46I want to ask you why they were seeing that, there, in the
- 56:54United States, the money they invested in Christian works as having a much greater
- 57:01profitability than in the rest of the programs, and then I wanted to know
- 57:07our experience, because, well, they saw that Spain had been, for
- 57:12example, in the drug issue, an exceptional case in the world. They
- 57:17have embassies and they had as some kind of government mandate to investigate and they
- 57:24say we don' t see that here you are, there are other centers.
- 57:30They also spoke to the army of salvation which, for some reason,
- 57:37they referred to us and that was what they wanted to know. Why don
- 57:42' t I just say I can' t say very well. I know
- 57:45what happened and I know it was probably also a let' s call it,
- 57:53a little revival that there were people converted in those years because of all
- 58:00these situations. But yes, it' s true. Yes, it is
- 58:02true that what happened in Spain we did not find anywhere, that is,
- 58:07in Europe. There wasn' t a country I had. Sometimes it was,
- 58:13for example, you found yourself in England that Bethel, which has also
- 58:17happened here in Spain. They had a very powerful program there, or you
- 58:22found that Remar had a program, but it was the Spanish centers, especially
- 58:28Remar, Bethel and Challenge, that were working in the countries with a pretty
- 58:35good implantation amazing And well, I don' t know how to tell you
- 58:43the reason. I think God was involved in that. Well, I'
- 58:47ve watched the time and I' ve been following you all and giving it
- 58:52to you. Thank God, thank God so much for your work. Really
- 58:58once and many times. And yes, but it is something to notice that
- 59:05we evangelicals have had that of not putting in value ours. We have done
- 59:09what we had to do and because it makes us of the heart, of
- 59:15a redeemed heart. But I realized as a communicator, even with the ten
- 59:19of life, we must raise to the status of important what we do so
- 59:22that the world knows what is happening with the evangelicals. They are not a
- 59:27religious cuultic minority of fanatics who are locked in their places, but there is
- 59:32something else, there is something deeper. And in recent years, yes,
- 59:37the public authorities are man. We subtract a lot of work and a lot
- 59:44of money from them that they don' t have to invest in this case.
- 59:46But then, in Spain, I remember working in Ondacero for a few
- 59:51years and I remember good already before it was born driven by the journalist so
- 59:58famous Luis del Olmo, The project man go that the Catholic Church also the
- 1:00:01godfather or not and such and I think it is the only project better known.
- 1:00:05Maybe there' s time. There are hypocrat centers, which are payment
- 1:00:07centers and a lot of money. Not if you want to go and treat
- 1:00:13yourself an addiction, but and good and do a good job, but you
- 1:00:17have to pay, you have to pay and I mean enough then. But
- 1:00:23the man project is another one that was born and so was born, but
- 1:00:28that there was nothing and continues to see outside the evangelical networks. There'
- 1:00:34s not much, either. No. The other thing I have to say
- 1:00:37is it' s still like this. Keep it up, if you do
- 1:00:40or something like that when we go around, it' s not like you
- 1:00:45' ve started seeing no, there hasn' t been any conato sometimes wanting
- 1:00:52to do something and so on and it' s gone down not for anything.
- 1:00:54I mean, this doesn' t mean we have a secret. I
- 1:01:00attribute it to the grace of God, no doubt, but it is the
- 1:01:04reality. That' s right. I watch it, I watch it,
- 1:01:07I say it as an observer. I' m a journalist too and I
- 1:01:09look at all the data here gives for good or even for bad, to
- 1:01:15know what goes on. I would be very interested if our listeners Joseph could
- 1:01:22hear two things. One how can people who have various family problems who are
- 1:01:29listening to us how they can come into contact with challenge. And the second
- 1:01:34thing is how we can collaborate with the challenge of more of the centers that
- 1:01:39you have of places, that you sell furniture and all that kind of traces,
- 1:01:45and all that good, but everything is little, because it takes a
- 1:01:50lot of money for the maintenance of everything that you carry in dance. And
- 1:01:52what better than being able to make generous donations to centers as a challenge from
- 1:01:58many who say listen I want to do it regularly, or I want to
- 1:02:02do it sporadically or spontaneously, or I want to leave part of my heritage
- 1:02:08legacy for a credibility trajectory organization as a challenge. The first thing how people
- 1:02:13can say I want to need help, parents, friends, brothers, well,
- 1:02:19I can provide a phone. Yeah, that' s the main route.
- 1:02:25We try, as far as possible, to have a personal interview by
- 1:02:31explaining a little how we work. But on a general level, that is,
- 1:02:37if you need help, the income is immediate, the income is free
- 1:02:45and during your stay here you do not have to pay absolutely nothing, and
- 1:02:51you can always see we advise that this problem is something that sometimes it is
- 1:02:57not a matter of two days, that by hands a year or year,
- 1:03:01and something would be convenient. There are people who don' t, but
- 1:03:06well, there' s no problem. And well, if I may and
- 1:03:10of course not, I' m going to provide a phone and it would
- 1:03:17be interesting, we' re talking to José Manuel, the National President of
- 1:03:22Challenge in Spain. And then, well, look at what more interesting personal
- 1:03:28and also collective testimony of the organization is here in Barcelona the person responsible for
- 1:03:35the admissions is called Marcos and the phone number is six, seven, seven,
- 1:03:40one, nine, two, seven, five two? I repeat,
- 1:03:47Mark' s name is responsible and the phone is six, seven, seven,
- 1:03:53one, nine, two, seven, five two. You' ll
- 1:04:00be, then we' ll put it on top of the story we'
- 1:04:05ll publish so people can have it. President, and there is also a
- 1:04:09page that you have yes, yes on the Internet, in the rest of
- 1:04:15the challenge association and here come the phones and some information about who we are
- 1:04:19and what we do. And the second issue is a complicated one. Yes,
- 1:04:26but the issue of donating and giving donations is, on the one hand,
- 1:04:32the truth is that the purpose is for them to know us. The
- 1:04:40main wish is that people could know us, that there might be the work
- 1:04:45you do in general, which you develop all these kinds of donations from people.
- 1:04:57When you remove a piece of furniture or whatever is more or less in
- 1:05:01good condition, they don' t ask for it again, but good that
- 1:05:05you don' t have to go to the landfill to throw it away,
- 1:05:11because that really helps us a lot. There are also companies that make donations.
- 1:05:16Well you could name here several large supermarkets that collaborate with food others with
- 1:05:25materials and with things that sometimes for them is a problem or have a surplus
- 1:05:30or have an out of stock some things and call us and hear us all
- 1:05:35that. The issue of money, of course, so people can, but
- 1:05:42I really would prefer that they do it after they meet us. If they
- 1:05:50wanted to do something, to come, to see, to see the project,
- 1:05:56to see what we do on the phones, which they have on the
- 1:06:00website. Well, if anyone has any, I don' t know any
- 1:06:05interest in that, because we can gladly explain to him, teach him to
- 1:06:12see it with his eyes and then decide whether he wants to do something or
- 1:06:17not, because if he doesn' t, it seems a little cold to
- 1:06:18me. I just don' t know. I don' t think it
- 1:06:21' s ours. He seems very honest. It' s that attitude that
- 1:06:26the other one is, too. No, no, yes, but I
- 1:06:29find it extraordinarily honest for it to give transparency, for people to see and
- 1:06:34see what is ben and b not. That seems to me to be the
- 1:06:41point. He does not hear, for he does have the page of challenge,
- 1:06:47association in challenge. I don' t know. This is pointr.
- 1:06:50I don' t remember point com good gets into it will easily drift them
- 1:06:57and there are all the sections. They see all kinds of things, jobs
- 1:07:00that we make come to meet you and where this is so good. And
- 1:07:04but there are people who are also debating where I' m going to leave
- 1:07:09my estate or not. You don' t have anyone or you don'
- 1:07:12t trust each other. The truth is that that' s one hasn'
- 1:07:16t happened to us many times. A woman called me a long time ago
- 1:07:20and told me that of course she saw that, for example, Caritas and
- 1:07:28all the program that the Catholic Church has takes almost ninety- one percent of
- 1:07:36all that heritage. Moreover, we knew him because there was a law firm
- 1:07:45that collected those donations to put them in the name of the Catholic Church Association.
- 1:07:54Then they went from the things inside, took away the value and already
- 1:08:00what was left they called us. It was funny, but good. That
- 1:08:06' s where we saw it, because they had a movement of things.
- 1:08:12Okay. That' s happened to us in our history twice, yes,
- 1:08:16notice, twice, well, but it' s also true that, like
- 1:08:23us, we haven' t had, not for nothing, but a kind
- 1:08:29of willingness to sell ourselves, to have a lot of marketing, a lot
- 1:08:32of stuff. We haven' t had it. Erupted, I' ve
- 1:08:34noticed, done, well, but look. There' s what they call
- 1:08:40solidary testing. Now for people you want to do. And so, if
- 1:08:45someone wants to do something like this, and not necessarily people and but individuals
- 1:08:50who in life want to do, what better cause than this, that helps
- 1:08:56restore the lives of so many lives people, men, women, young people
- 1:09:02and people of all kinds, also contributing to such solidarity action, as much
- 1:09:10to the tourist and as Christian as it is to help the one who is
- 1:09:15in this situation. Another point is that with this one we are already concluding.
- 1:09:18José Manuel you are a pastor at the same time of the center,
- 1:09:25which is a Christian community. Challenge to hope, not to see we have,
- 1:09:30well, we started backwards. The churches usually start a social activity.
- 1:09:43Yes, we were a social activity that we set up a church. So,
- 1:09:50well, we did see, because we, in a way, are
- 1:09:55a church. We function like a church. Not all the kids who come
- 1:10:00in the center belong to the church because they don' t have the will,
- 1:10:05because they don' t want their religions. And a lot of people
- 1:10:10who aren' t in the center, they do like to come to meetings.
- 1:10:15So, well, we understood that at the same time that it works
- 1:10:20what social work is, because to set up a church with all that means.
- 1:10:27And then, we started with the name Church to the lighthouse, but
- 1:10:32we had a difficulty abroad and also a confusion with the subject of Jehovah’
- 1:10:40s Witnesses because of the publication they make. Then, in the end,
- 1:10:46we decided to call it the same Biblical Church. I challenge hope. And
- 1:10:51here we are in the polygon of the hardware store in Moncada never and well,
- 1:10:59because we work as a Church, with all its particularities. Of course,
- 1:11:06you have a life in community, really in addition to a Christian community,
- 1:11:12which has a culctic part, but then you function in everyday life,
- 1:11:16because like but there are people who have nothing to do with what comes,
- 1:11:20what comes with communion, what to do with a past of drugs, that
- 1:11:25comes to the Church. Sure, sure, of course, if I do
- 1:11:29have acquaintances like that it has also been a pleasure to listen to you,
- 1:11:36to have you here in this studio José Manuel and the truth that I celebrate
- 1:11:43a lot of encouragement for everything. And well, here you have this medium,
- 1:11:45the train of life waved peace or the pau cataluña at your disposal also
- 1:11:50with much affection. I really am not only pleased, but I am glad
- 1:11:55about the work you do, because I value it very much. Many thanks
- 1:12:00have been very kind and thank you for the opportunity you also give us to
- 1:12:05make it known that it is one, as I said before, of the
- 1:12:09important things, that people know who we are and what we do. Nothing
- 1:12:14else, then, but God bless you, your family, your work,
- 1:12:16and so on. Thank you very much. Likewise, you so great you
- 1:12:47travel on the train of life, wow or look at your pure air and
- 1:13:30baby of your water life belvizo your blood I want you are and gualda of

- 1:17:45sagua de quiero had nua of knit, you bread your fragrance and I want
- 1:18:12him gua or please, or you travel in the train of life. M
- 1:18:59o, ladies and gentlemen, we' re still going. This train is
- 1:19:25unstoppable in life. It' s unstoppable who stops her to see who'
- 1:19:29s capable. Only the creator and everything has an expiration date. Hey,
- 1:19:32don' t think this isn' t gonna be ineternal, too. Ineternal,
- 1:19:36It will be when we are in God' s Eternal Kingdom that this
- 1:19:42gives us why to speak on another subject. Well, then, today we
- 1:19:45have the taste, as we announced, of having the shepherd with us and
- 1:19:50he is an international Bible teacher, and not only of the Bible, but
- 1:19:54of books. He is a very prolific writer, of very good books,
- 1:19:59very good morning, what you can find on his own page also Osvaldo Rebolleda
- 1:20:08com and you will see the books. Besides, it has a peculiarity that
- 1:20:13is not usual. In addition, they are free, they are good books
- 1:20:16with topics of great interest and free. But in addition, he is already
- 1:20:20traveling through Spain, through several places and before returning to his place of origin,
- 1:20:26to Argentina, which has to return already today, as he has made
- 1:20:30a little stop here in Barcelona with the pleasure of having him welcome. Osvaldo,
- 1:20:36well, thank you very much, Julio. It is a pleasure for
- 1:20:40me to be able to be sharing this moment this beautiful medium as is the
- 1:20:45radio and this program of such prestige, which has its great trajectory, which
- 1:20:49is truly wonderful, so it is an honor for me to be able to
- 1:20:53be yes. Thanks, man. You see we are always so curious when
- 1:20:58we have someone like you sitting here and you, who are very used to
- 1:21:02going to so many places and so and you already have a trajectory, not
- 1:21:06only that supports you by your work, by your sowing that you have done,
- 1:21:12by your production, your ministerial performance. Osvaldo, who you are,
- 1:21:16where you come from and where you' re going, tell us a little
- 1:21:19bit about yourself. Well, I' m Argentine. I am now on
- 1:21:24a tour that ends just today and I am leaving tonight again back to Argentina.
- 1:21:29I came to Spain on March 3. I' m usually seeing twice
- 1:21:33a year and good and traveling to different places. Now I' m going
- 1:21:39back to Argentina and about 20 days later I' m going to the United
- 1:21:41States. A month. I was pastoring in Argentina for, like, twenty
- 1:21:45years with my wife and then we gave up that hour because of the trips.
- 1:21:49So, well I trained in Argentina at the Assembly of God of Argentina,
- 1:21:53the Association Assembly of God, and well I have that trajectory. How
- 1:21:59they go ge ready first after, like but I have always been an itinerant
- 1:22:04preacher then, when the process led me to what is teaching, the journeys
- 1:22:10intensified much more. From the two thousand fourteen fifteen I began to travel abroad
- 1:22:15continuously every year and well, that made us deliver the work, which well
- 1:22:19remains under my supervision. But I' ve devoted myself completely to doing that
- 1:22:26other kind of work. True, if you also have a ministry of pastoral
- 1:22:32accompaniment, Catholic ministry in different places, also that require your ministry. Some
- 1:22:39are from your own direct work, others are associated, but it is an
- 1:22:43important job. Also clear well, for me it is the most important work
- 1:22:47than development, to be able to work with different churches and on a pastoral
- 1:22:54level, advising the pastors and helping them in this beautiful task of the pastorate.
- 1:22:58No and well, there are several churches. In Argentina I have a
- 1:23:01church there with which I work in Cochea, in Barras del Medio, in
- 1:23:05Euken, in Sarmiento, in Fernández Soro, in Chile, in Viña del
- 1:23:12Mar, in the United States, in Los Angeles, in California and here
- 1:23:15in Spain also with Antonio Venta in Orihuela, a good friend. Yes,
- 1:23:19yes, yes, how important pastors that they need to be accompanied and well
- 1:23:27accompanied, indeed, of course they do. A lot, a lot,
- 1:23:31because we assume the Ministry as a job in which people presuppose that we are
- 1:23:36good at everything as if we had no problems and we have the same problems
- 1:23:42as anyone else. We carry forward the situations and circumstances of life plus the
- 1:23:46Communion we seek to have with God and the things that afflict us, by
- 1:23:50family, by work, by everything, and the Ministry is hard, really
- 1:23:54hard. People, maybe from outside, think it' s the preaching we
- 1:23:59do at one at a worship meeting, but it doesn' t go through
- 1:24:00there. The spiritual burden is very difficult to bear and good and if there
- 1:24:05are many pastors who are suffering this. In fact, a survey was conducted
- 1:24:10recently where it was found that 80 percent in Argentina, not 80 percent of
- 1:24:15pastors were experiencing health problems. And there' s no point in not serving
- 1:24:23God this we can have and most of the problems this has been ulcer,
- 1:24:28diabetes, blood pressure, this stress heart condition. Of course everything has linked
- 1:24:36to the nerves, the stress of the Ministry, so this good evidence that
- 1:24:41it takes a lot of work there and how important it is and if perhaps
- 1:24:47there you can help me for our listeners that many, because they are friends,
- 1:24:55do not have the confessionality, have no confessionality, but feel close to
- 1:25:00the Christian faith. Others are from other denominations and others, many are evangelicals,
- 1:25:08also in Spain, who are listening to us both members as pastors or
- 1:25:15pastors. What an important need. I have always said that, in my
- 1:25:20opinion, uh, and I have a Ministry similar to yours on the part
- 1:25:27of not so much of a writer, but the part of support for pastors
- 1:25:30and logistics. I have come to discover that shepherds are the most important people
- 1:25:35on earth. What I' m telling you is very big. Loquent is
- 1:25:41the people, because how important it is that pastors do not feel ministerial.
- 1:25:48They need support from someone who' s in equals with them. People can
- 1:25:55' t tell a lot of things, some can, but others can'
- 1:26:00t, and then they feel like they have a good friend, plus an
- 1:26:04advisor, an instructor, a mentor, a coach. Not today I did
- 1:26:10what I think coaching was invented by the shepherds without knowing it not really the
- 1:26:15good shepherds, who are many and shepherds. So what a great need for
- 1:26:24how to solve the ministerial orphanhood. There are many there is that there is
- 1:26:32sincerely yes and well, the development of different institutions or denominations has a job
- 1:26:39of administrative follow- up if you want, but in many cases you lack
- 1:26:45that, not that bond of paternal that must exist to be administered, because
- 1:26:50we need all pastors, we need to be shepherded. We also have to
- 1:26:55cope with our family and the intimate help that is needed to cope with the
- 1:27:01Ministry. That, when that bond is not close, is not really fulfilled
- 1:27:06with the effective with what is needed, because yes, institutional authorities, there
- 1:27:12will always be, but I call it sometimes that you suffer from the syndrome
- 1:27:15of the older brother truth, that it will help you whenever you have a
- 1:27:19need, but that is not the same as the one that may have a
- 1:27:24more paternal look about the situation. An aid is intimately interested and good hearted.
- 1:27:30So that is necessary, and much is needed, and the shepherds in
- 1:27:35general are greatly appreciated. Therefore, how important is accompaniment and training, because
- 1:27:43I know that your Ministry is very formative, you are a person who forms
- 1:27:46leadership and quality training, which is also very important. There are no pastors
- 1:27:58who are also quite lost what they can, what they know or what they
- 1:28:01imagine. But they also need advice in what is Bible instruction, in ministerial
- 1:28:09formation. Of course I don' t talk about those who can' t
- 1:28:14go to the seminars in those places, but who are making themselves on the
- 1:28:16go, but who would need someone like yours, to instruct them to teach
- 1:28:21them, to accompany them and also to advise them. Until, well,
- 1:28:28every pastor is taking more autonomy. That is why I was told by this
- 1:28:34slogan that some, when they have heard it from me, have said hey
- 1:28:36it is not a bit exaggerated that pastors are the most important people on earth.
- 1:28:41Having observed more than forty years as a shepherd, I say, I
- 1:28:46do not exaggerate, I am also a pastor with an apostolic ministry too,
- 1:28:53but I say to him but they are really the most important people on earth
- 1:29:00for many reasons. They are the ones who mediate in many human conflicts,
- 1:29:02they are the ones who instruct, they are the ones who teach, they
- 1:29:06are the ones who win the sea, they are the ones who are self
- 1:29:10- denial, they are the ones who are good. The list is long,
- 1:29:11true, clear and apart, we already do a job that has to
- 1:29:15do with eternity. Then we become transcient, true, and then work with
- 1:29:18the eternal. That is exactly not if it has that transcendence which is everything
- 1:29:24else it does not have. And of course, the formation we have is
- 1:29:29also fundamental because we all, somehow had our conversion at the time, came
- 1:29:35to a certain place and we had a no imprint and suddenly we were formed
- 1:29:43with a theological line, with a line. In some cases there are many
- 1:29:46factors that good are sent to the Ministry too soon without preparation, but they
- 1:29:55may have a call, but suddenly they do not yet have the necessary training
- 1:29:59to be able to do so. And others that come from a formation that
- 1:30:02may not be the best too and that also happens. That' s why
- 1:30:06we have so many divergences within the Church that, well, we shouldn'
- 1:30:12t have, but then working together and helping us think and find are correct
- 1:30:17guidelines. I think that' s very important. We all need that.
- 1:30:23How do you see Osvaldo that you for your books, which are good,
- 1:30:29can already say it on the page just Osvaldo Rebolera, as there you can
- 1:30:35find on the page of the pastor himself. I' m here. We
- 1:30:41have the book page, which is very interesting. You the naked church,
- 1:30:45the search for diogenes, the need, the needs of the Kingdom, the
- 1:30:50dynamic passive Kingdom rebellion, the titles are very interesting. I have heard some
- 1:30:57of your preaching and glimpsed some of them and divine fruits for redemption spiritual resilience.
- 1:31:04That word that is so fashionable the great warning, the Kingdom diet the
- 1:31:09love of many will cool down. I guess since recent times lions at the
- 1:31:15zoo, times of transition, breaking authorized boundaries, double life relining it How
- 1:31:24many good books. There are about one hundred and forty on the wow pages.
- 1:31:29Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, to read the titles. She
- 1:31:30' s a lot and besides, writing well, that' s the same
- 1:31:35good yes, I don' t see. I consider myself more than anything
- 1:31:39a teacher who writes and not a writer, because I understand that for him
- 1:31:45who has the gift of writing in his formation, who writes exquisitely, well,
- 1:31:50maybe it will not be so many books. There, in Argentina we
- 1:31:57have ernesto sabato, the author of the tunnel, he who called the incendiary
- 1:32:03because he to his writings, few survived the fire because it was burning.
- 1:32:09He said he' s a good writer. I was going to write two
- 1:32:13or three books, at most in life that could transcend it. But he
- 1:32:17was a writer and wrote literature. It' s not my case. I
- 1:32:21' m a writing teacher. So, for me, books are one more
- 1:32:26way to be able to deliver the teachings I have, which many of them
- 1:32:30started in the school module. I went to the school of spiritual government in
- 1:32:33Argentina a few years ago and I was making modules and giving messages by series,
- 1:32:41preaching by series. Then from the series they were from the wealth of
- 1:32:45the series came out some books from the modules of the school came out other
- 1:32:49books, but for me it is one more way to be able to give
- 1:32:55what I have received. By grace and since books have a large part of
- 1:32:58biblical backing and verses, and all that good, is what I do,
- 1:33:04which I consider to be written teachings and good is not judged by writing itself
- 1:33:13or the literary form, but by the content that I intend to be useful
- 1:33:17to the Church. But you' re good at writing, you explain,
- 1:33:29goods you write well, that is, that the construction of books is very
- 1:33:34very understandable and very good for a reader. Well, there are many saved,
- 1:33:41by his grace, the measures of the Kingdom. The glory of the
- 1:33:45final persecution, which hardly anyone speaks of, the scope of the Angel Covenant
- 1:33:48and among us the Church is of the Lord the Tribunal of Christ, the
- 1:33:56language of the Kingdom, the spiritual geography, the power of management, the
- 1:34:00order according to God. Well, there are so many. There are people
- 1:34:03who when you see your page to the page of Osvaldo Rebolera, point with
- 1:34:09books, Barra books, there will be that any topic that interests you of
- 1:34:13Christian life will find it here. Certainly, Yes, there are many,
- 1:34:17many different subjects and all the spiritual discouragement another of the books also, et
- 1:34:24cetera, et cetera. How do you see the Church in your travels,
- 1:34:30what you see, what you hear, what you perceive so much in Argentina,
- 1:34:34our beloved Argentina, and the Church there I have so many pastor friends
- 1:34:41who are so entangled. Now we will have Mariano be equal with us to
- 1:34:45his father Jorge, it looks the same as it has been and good,
- 1:34:48and so many others, John Paul, Hongarray and good already Brother Son and
- 1:34:53all we know are many different. When I' m around, I also
- 1:34:59like to be with several of them, at least for a little bit more
- 1:35:02three weeks or a month and you can' t be with as many as
- 1:35:08you want. But Argentina is very much in our heart. But in general
- 1:35:13Argentina, Latin America, the United States, I have a feeling that in
- 1:35:17the United States the Church is going through a crisis in general strong and much
- 1:35:25more since the pandemic here, also for political reasons, has polluted the life
- 1:35:29of the Church a lot and in other parts of the world, Africa Oceania,
- 1:35:39in the countries also Russia and the countries of the East. What a
- 1:35:43perception, what a cacti, how you perceive the Church in general encompassing powers.
- 1:35:50Just when you do an apostolic work, it' s like you have
- 1:35:57a more global vision. That' s the idea. The pastor has a
- 1:36:00local creational vision and apostolic work causes one to put on the spiritual thermometer.
- 1:36:06Let' s say it in a more global way. Anyway, always the
- 1:36:10panorama one can have is limited within the realms one moves, the things one
- 1:36:13knows. But well, the spiritual world is also territorial. There is one
- 1:36:18of the books called spiritual geography and that generates that, while in some places
- 1:36:24they are going through a good process, on other sides not so much.
- 1:36:28No yes, I believe that the Church would have to be one step further
- 1:36:35in terms of the advancement of society, a relative advance. I am not
- 1:36:42talking about a cultural change in the world and culture, by the way,
- 1:36:46it is very strong in darkness, because the capacity of science has grown,
- 1:36:53but morale has not grown. Morale has grown and then I think it'
- 1:36:57s something like what you put forward there in the chapter. It is that
- 1:37:00darkness covered the earth and darkness over the nations, and I believe we are
- 1:37:04seeing it more than ever. In fact, those of us who are more
- 1:37:11than fifty years old know that we live as in two different lives. We
- 1:37:15had a stage of a growth of an absolutely different society culturally, speaking of
- 1:37:21the one we live in today and we had that transition where there were no
- 1:37:29means and technology that exist today. We didn' t have cell phones like
- 1:37:33mobile phones, we didn' t have this technology that overcame us. And
- 1:37:35we' re talking about a generation. That is, if you go back,
- 1:37:39it can take thousands of years, almost with the same advance people who
- 1:37:44were born with vehicles in blood and so died. In the same way,
- 1:37:49society hardly changed. We are experiencing an impressive technological leap. Science grew suddenly
- 1:37:57and, as it grew suddenly, generated many different things and, unfortunately and
- 1:38:00sadly, not knowing how to take on that transition has generated many bad things,
- 1:38:08because globalization is not bad in itself, if globalism the globalist agenda,
- 1:38:14if you want. But globalization is not bad if you know how to use
- 1:38:18what I think is that you didn' t know how to use it in
- 1:38:23society and that has caused a lot of bad. A cloak of darkness came
- 1:38:26upon the world very suddenly and the Church does not end up absorbing that.
- 1:38:30When our approach is there, our worship work, our activities and everything we
- 1:38:40hardly look at what is happening globally. So if we have a verticalist look
- 1:38:45at God in our communion, our life with God and what is the worship
- 1:38:49meetings and our life, our life, our problems, our family, our
- 1:38:54situations, then we hardly see what is happening on a global level and what
- 1:38:59is happening after it is happening in our cities and how we are going to
- 1:39:02face things that we must face and how we are penetrating or not the system
- 1:39:06in which we live. One of the books is just called and I was
- 1:39:11giving it a little while ago the church in the market, because the church
- 1:39:16is a design to penetrate the system. The idea of bringing people to the
- 1:39:21Church is fine. It is logical that people will come, join in what
- 1:39:26it represents or what the life of the body of Christ means. But if
- 1:39:30the Church is not able to go out and show herself as she should,
- 1:39:35that is where I think we are missing. I think we' re,
- 1:39:41in fact, missing the first book, that one that was the last I
- 1:39:44ever did. The naked church is an almost provocative title to draw attention to.
- 1:39:49I would be unable to pretend such a thing, but I do speak
- 1:39:55of the fact that he will come by a glorious church, a Church clothed
- 1:40:00with it fine linen, as Maya says, of the spiritual meaning it has.
- 1:40:02And I believe that clothing is the one that covers the body and,
- 1:40:05according to the garments, it is what people have seen and the Church,
- 1:40:11throughout history, has lived different clothes not and I think those clothes have not
- 1:40:16shown us very well. The first three centuries of the Church were shown in
- 1:40:23quite Jewish clothing because of the influence and what they knew about the old Covenant,
- 1:40:28and then came the entire formation of Roman Catholicism. Then, one thousand
- 1:40:33two hundred years, the clothes were different and then comes the reform, which
- 1:40:40was also fundamental, the great reform. But I believe that the Church is
- 1:40:45still in a process of reform. It must continue to reform the word reform
- 1:40:49is the word diorsosis in Greek, but it has to do with returning to
- 1:40:54the original. That is the reform we need. We don' t need
- 1:41:00to reform something to be novel and tell how society faced it. What we
- 1:41:03need is to go back to design or digital. No. That is why
- 1:41:09I think the Apostolic Ministry is so important in this regard. Today' s
- 1:41:14Apostolic Ministry has nothing to do with creating this new foundation. The apostolic and
- 1:41:19prophetic foundations have already been established. He' s not going to lay a
- 1:41:23foundation for us after more than 2, 000 years on something that' s
- 1:41:26already built. What we must do is correctly interpret the foundations that were laid
- 1:41:31and suddenly discover that some things have been built that were not at the foundation
- 1:41:35of the original plan and suddenly there are things that were not done or stopped
- 1:41:41being done and we have to recover them. Then I believe that the Church
- 1:41:45would have to go on that path, because returning to the original design,
- 1:41:53which Jesus Christ left behind, is what guarantees us that, despite the cultural
- 1:41:56changes and the time we live in, the Church can make effective in penetrating
- 1:42:00the system, because the design that he left clearly spiritual. So, when
- 1:42:02you penetrate society spiritually beyond whatever cultural and natural manifestation it has, we are
- 1:42:09going to be effective. But we have to use the design that Christ left
- 1:42:14and not the designs that have been taking place through the different stages of the
- 1:42:17Church. Historically clear, it is interesting reflection and I agree with you Oswaldo
- 1:42:30in those reflections twenty- two And what happens is that we also have legions
- 1:42:35of people who say clear interesting things and everyone exposes in networks and in so
- 1:42:43many platforms Straimings, now everyone can do what self- edit. And it
- 1:42:49' s all right, it' s all right, it' s all
- 1:42:54open public participation for everyone. What' s true, we have a collection
- 1:42:58of phonies, cheaters, livers, people who, both male and female.
- 1:43:06And of course one says Caramba and Jesus warned in the signs of the end
- 1:43:15more than seven times about the carefulness with deception that even some deception is so
- 1:43:20strong, so sophisticated. The text of Matthew II already strikes me very much
- 1:43:28when many say that day, sir, we did this not typically the things
- 1:43:32of Pentecostalism. I' m no costal mind. No, no, no,
- 1:43:38I didn' t know you guys I don' t know who you
- 1:43:41are. It means that, because it is also important to discern the true
- 1:43:48from the false, clear truth, good to see. That' s the
- 1:43:51right word Julio said, because I think you don' t have to be
- 1:43:57afraid of that falsehood there is, because when you' re afraid of something
- 1:44:01false, the only thing you generate is a rejection of everything. It'
- 1:44:04s not like someone ever gives us a fake fifty euro bill and we don
- 1:44:09' t want to grab any more, because we think everything is fake.
- 1:44:12We' re gonna suspect everything. The idea is to pay attention and know
- 1:44:16the real one so that when a fake ticket comes, we can detect it.
- 1:44:20I mean, a banker isn' t trying to identify everything that'
- 1:44:26s false, he knows the real thing. So, when your human touches
- 1:44:28a false one, he discovers it and in order to do that, I
- 1:44:31think that what we should do, instead of being afraid or rejecting everything,
- 1:44:36is to have a deep communion with God, so that our discernment develops more
- 1:44:41in this time than ever, so that suddenly we have the openness we should
- 1:44:46have, if we should change some things and we have to learn to listen
- 1:44:50to each other, because I believe that in the diversity we have there is
- 1:44:56also a lot of wealth and be able to identify what it is not to
- 1:44:59be able to identify. Then I think it is not so dangerous, because
- 1:45:01there were false apostles and false prophets and false teachers and false brothers since the
- 1:45:08first century. It is not false everything, but God has never lost or
- 1:45:14lose the Church' s government, because it is the head. The Church
- 1:45:16will be victorious, as the Lord said, and that is our confidence.
- 1:45:21What we should do is to take our care and say I don' t
- 1:45:27want to fall into deception. I want to go the right way and the
- 1:45:30only way to know that what someone else is saying is truly what God is
- 1:45:34proposing. It is the condition of the one who listens, because capacity,
- 1:45:40my spiritual communion, my depth with him, will cause my spiritual sensibility to
- 1:45:45flourish in an attack way when he hears algae automatically. I will detect what
- 1:45:49is and what is not of God and that is what we need ministerially.
- 1:45:54People can' t detect that and the media is open. Then people sometimes
- 1:45:59get in to listen to what they don' t owe what' s interesting
- 1:46:01to them and sometimes they eat badly. Now it is not wise that we
- 1:46:05forbid him to listen, because they are just going to do the opposite.
- 1:46:09And the idea is to have a people who, if I mature in wisdom,
- 1:46:13will know what it is and what it is not. Even if you
- 1:46:15listen to the nets indiscriminately, everything that comes to you is not the same.
- 1:46:19Then we have to do it in leadership and I think we have to
- 1:46:23teach people, that is, when we have a little boy, we have
- 1:46:28to have a lot of attention, because he can eat anything he doesn'
- 1:46:31t grab a trash and take it to his mouth to eat it, so
- 1:46:34we' re looking after it. But when he grows up, you don
- 1:46:38' t have to be watching him anymore. He knows what' s good
- 1:46:39to eat and what' s not good, so I think we' ll
- 1:46:42have to go. On that side, instead of instilling fear or forbidding building
- 1:46:45in such a way that people have the ability to discern between what is and
- 1:46:49what is not. It is important to develop criteria in all the discernment of
- 1:46:57true and false things, if it is not to create an armism that puts
- 1:47:01us there in a Zulo or in a bunker and not. Not that in
- 1:47:06fact, I know from experience. I relate to the whole body of Christ
- 1:47:13and there are of all species I mean and they are respectable in the vast
- 1:47:20majority and with the accents of one and the other. What is there is,
- 1:47:27in the midst of all that bare magnum, to discern what can be
- 1:47:30harmful to one' s spiritual health. If you believe it as one of
- 1:47:35God' s last words so you don' t know what, then it
- 1:47:41is important, but yes, maturity also consists in knowing, acquiring the necessary
- 1:47:47marudez to know that we have to learn to have autonomy, to be living
- 1:47:54there, in locked up somewhere and everything is bad and the world comes upon
- 1:47:57us. Yeah, I don' t agree with that, because if you
- 1:48:00turn around, you get sick again, we' re clear Well, in
- 1:48:05some cases people are encouraged not to look at that, and in the long
- 1:48:10run that' s worse, because people, out of their own curiosity,
- 1:48:13go and look and just go to the issues that are most controversial. It
- 1:48:16seems to me that when we live the pandemic. The pandemic revealed one side,
- 1:48:24a lack of the church. I don' t think we should have
- 1:48:30ended up the same and continue as if nothing had happened, as was done
- 1:48:31in many cases. It doesn' t give me the feeling that it'
- 1:48:34s like those people who go down the street and fall and then it'
- 1:48:40s just shake a little bit and keep walking like nothing happened, but it
- 1:48:43actually happened and the pains come after. No, and I think we should
- 1:48:46have a much deeper reading of the pandemic, because there are things we didn
- 1:48:50' t see, because there are things that didn' t know and because
- 1:48:55it showed a lot of things that weren' t right. And then I
- 1:48:58think that responsibility of leadership, I think leadership because we can say of people,
- 1:49:01that people have the ability to destroy it, but leadership has to have
- 1:49:05a greater openness and depth. And I mean, we live in difficult times
- 1:49:13and that makes us have to be much more engaged in our intimate Communion with
- 1:49:17God, our time of quality and not of activity, because sometimes that doesn
- 1:49:21' t happen to us. The Ministry demands a lot of activity and the
- 1:49:26same activity we do for God is preventing us from being quality time with God.
- 1:49:30So sometimes we are filled with too many activities and the activities that we
- 1:49:39have within the Church, which is not that they are wrong, but that
- 1:49:42sometimes they blur our focus from the most important thing, which is to be
- 1:49:45with him. And we want to be with people, we want to help
- 1:49:48people and we are working for God, but we are not spending quality time
- 1:49:53with God. Then we can say good. Yeah, I' m on
- 1:49:56the Bible every day. I read a little, I' m praying,
- 1:50:00but I' m talking about something else. I' m talking about something
- 1:50:03deeper, because I can grate an hour and not have touched his presence and
- 1:50:06a touch of his presence is worth much more than an hour talking, so
- 1:50:12I think all leadership needs that. He needs that because there are people.
- 1:50:15The leader who doesn' t go for that is being passed over by people.
- 1:50:19And that' s the dangerous thing. Sometimes I also give a lesson
- 1:50:23that was good for the networks or the media, and I don' t
- 1:50:27want to create a conflict for a concierge, but sometimes I realize that if
- 1:50:30I release a word and people get it, if people get it before their
- 1:50:34own leader causes a problem and even if they don' t want it,
- 1:50:39today it generates that media. No, then we should all at this time
- 1:50:44take that precaution and that commitment to God to turn to the source that is
- 1:50:50that which is interesting. The issue of the pandemic has taught us well,
- 1:50:56see. It' s been four years since then, but it' s
- 1:51:00true. He told me, one of the leaders of the Church of God
- 1:51:03in the world who came to administer pastors. Two thousand twenty- one a
- 1:51:10year ago he was managing who hotel on the Valencian coast and an interesting man,
- 1:51:17not Darrell, and he said the pandemic caused in the United States that
- 1:51:25one third of the Church, thirty- two percent have not returned to the
- 1:51:28Church. They' re either in no man' s land or they'
- 1:51:33re in limbo. No. And it' s true because I' ve
- 1:51:39sometimes thought and meditated on no one, neither the Russian, nor the Chinese,
- 1:51:44nor anyone else. Nobody knew anything. And this showed us that yes.
- 1:51:47Looks like we' ve got everything under control. Someone' s got
- 1:51:50it under control in a lab. No, there was no fault that harmed
- 1:51:56Tolo Parra, but it was a general essay, clear for the end of
- 1:52:00the finals. It was a general essay because it was a hypothesis. And
- 1:52:05yet, thank God, we were late to get out of the bottling that
- 1:52:12caused the pandemic and the deaths and fear and global panic that was terrifying.
- 1:52:18What would we do in a situation of eventuality that we would do now we
- 1:52:25have to ask ourselves, because it is that now, seeing what we are
- 1:52:28seeing. Anything can happen. Of course, God is not free, but
- 1:52:32it can happen. It' s happened and you used to say. Everything
- 1:52:35that happened in the 20th century was much more intense than in all human history.
- 1:52:43In the 20th century alone two world wars, genocides, atrocious astronomical advances,
- 1:52:47technological advances, medical science and everything goes tremendous, I no longer say
- 1:52:53in the 21st century, with networks and with the media, artificial intelligence,
- 1:52:56I mean, at this time the history of the measured is advanced more than
- 1:53:00in all history, in a century and three decades, more than in all
- 1:53:05previous history, I mean, that we are going at a meteoric speed towards
- 1:53:12where we are going. And the change that was cultural, social, values,
- 1:53:17the change of values that took place was tremendous now. That is why
- 1:53:24I say that the Church should have done a much deeper reading of what the
- 1:53:29pandemic did, of how we handled the issue of the pandemic, of the
- 1:53:32consequences it caused and of what we did not see. In other words,
- 1:53:35the Church has recognized the need for God' s direction and for the warning
- 1:53:41of the things to come, of the Nisterium, of the prophetic movement and
- 1:53:45all that she wants. But we were not warned of such a thing.
- 1:53:47No, not as we should be warned. If you ask me, I
- 1:53:54think it is clear that I believe in a prophetic church because we need God
- 1:53:59' s direction. I believe in the ministry of many. I believe that
- 1:54:02today, there is a large percentage who can say that they are apostles or
- 1:54:08prophets or what they were as pastor and good sometimes they are not, but
- 1:54:12I do believe the truth of all that. The point is that we should
- 1:54:14not have distracted some ministries to entertain the brothers, but to delay the government.
- 1:54:20That is, when we looked at the prophets in the old Covenant,
- 1:54:26we discovered that they were close to the Government. They could speak publicly,
- 1:54:30but the main word was brought to the kings, to whom government decisions had
- 1:54:33to be made. So the same thing happens with the Church Today, the
- 1:54:40way God has to pass us direction is at governmental levels, not making events
- 1:54:44so that they can give him a word of encouragement, of impulse, of
- 1:54:48leadership stimuli to the little brothers at the prophetic congresses. And all that,
- 1:54:54I think that distracts them from a prophet, usually in the old covenant,
- 1:55:00although the prophetic ministry of the new covenant of absolutely different in the dynamics of
- 1:55:05expression is quite different. But anyway, they were strange, retracted people,
- 1:55:10who were with God, who were not half antisocial, they were difficult to
- 1:55:15cope with. But when a word came down, let down a word of
- 1:55:18God for the government, because they were always linked to the leadership of the
- 1:55:23nation. Today, let' s move on to the spiritual. It'
- 1:55:27s the same thing. The Holy Nation of God needs direction. It is
- 1:55:30expressed through the church and the designs of the Church. But we need to
- 1:55:36be redirected so that we don' t work on human schemes and human structures,
- 1:55:43but under the Lord' s impulse and direction, and we don'
- 1:55:45t have to recognize that. That there was a lack there And for me,
- 1:55:48the worst thing that can happen to us is that, after a crisis
- 1:55:51like the one that was experienced, let' s continue like nothing happened and
- 1:55:56with our activities, without changing anything. I have to have made an assessment
- 1:56:00of what happened, how we react, how we assimilate it and what can
- 1:56:02come. Because it' s written that there are things that are going to
- 1:56:08be worse interesting. They realize our listeners and those who are seeing us in
- 1:56:12f like, but especially the following ones of modulated frequency in the different Spanish
- 1:56:16cities, they realize how many things can be intersected from this conversation with the
- 1:56:23pastor and writer and lecturer and international teacher, Rualdo Rebolleda Rebolledo, that you
- 1:56:30notice if you merit the titles of your book, because it attests to that
- 1:56:39in the conversation, in the knowledge of so many topics we could be with
- 1:56:44some of the topics that we enter from this conversation a whole program, only
- 1:56:48with some of the topics. Sure, because there' s a lot to
- 1:56:56talk about and well, how can Osvaldo people who say hey I' d
- 1:57:00like to. I' m going to read the books of the pastor Rebolleda
- 1:57:05Rebolleda, if that actor Rebolleda is, I' m going to read them
- 1:57:15Osvaldo Rebolleta, com also has its walls of faxes from social networks, but
- 1:57:24its messages also that can listen in audios and videos. I don' t
- 1:57:27think so, too. It' s good, too. Actually, on
- 1:57:30the top page of the link you can go to the different sites. At
- 1:57:33first there is the agenda, because there is figure where I am, where
- 1:57:39I am going and whatever. There are the videos, which is a link
- 1:57:42that connects us to YouTube and there is one that says audios, that connects
- 1:57:45us to all the different audio series, that, well, there are a
- 1:57:49lot, a lot of different audio series that you can access and everything is
- 1:57:55to download and for all free, of course, yes, yes, well,
- 1:57:58it is very generous. Thank you for your part in blessing God'
- 1:58:01s people and people in general. So, well, you can take advantage
- 1:58:06of it on the Osvaldo Rebolleda com page and also audio books videos and this
- 1:58:15same program, which is also going to be posted on audio networks also that

- 1:58:30write to him, contact him, people in particular or pastors or leaders of
- 1:58:38the evangelical work. Somewhere I would be interested to meet you, listen to
- 1:58:43you, talk to him, maybe invite you in a moment, given how
- 1:58:46you can also do on the same page. We have behind schedule in the
- 1:58:53last one is contacts. Sure then, well, there' s the mail,
- 1:58:59my personal mail that I' m handling or via facebook. Also one
- 1:59:01connects with this via Facebook or my personal mail. There are all the data
- 1:59:09on my page, there are all the forms of connection and with all pleasure
- 1:59:14this being able to talk to the pastors and whoever I need for some reason.
- 1:59:19Sometimes there are pastors who, well, I am continually talking to pastors
- 1:59:24who are friends, who I know, who do not necessarily work with me
- 1:59:29under my authority, are not friends and sometimes I go to the Church and
- 1:59:33preach, but we are always in contact for advice, for a doubt they
- 1:59:40have or for a topic they are preparing, so that we can develop something.
- 1:59:45Then always, well it' s my job and I do it with
- 1:59:48great pleasure, with great joy. So you can connect them through the pages
- 1:59:53here in contacts. Also inside the page is in the emails info arroba Osvaldo

- 2:00:35also when I' m in Argentina and well and there I go to the
- 2:00:39United States for about a month and I hope to return to Spain. We
- 2:00:41have everything scheduled for the next trip in October. There are already at least
- 2:00:47a few palpable activities, but well, I say we' ll see,
- 2:00:53because the Lord only knows. It' s not what' s gonna happen
- 2:00:55to us tomorrow, but good is the idea. If the Lord wants it,
- 2:00:58so it will be not if well, for we will be aware that
- 2:01:01it will be a pleasure to be with you again and also enjoy your company
- 2:01:05and your Ministry. Well, thank you so much for the invitation. Thank
- 2:01:09you a pleasure to me. Nice to meet you. Shared the last meal
- 2:01:13we had there just over a month ago in Murcia, there with the Murcians
- 2:01:17and with our Catalan half- murtian that we have there. Antonio, a
- 2:01:24good friend, pastor Antonio Ventas and the breath of life the church. He
- 2:01:29' s the pastor of that church, with his radio station, with his
- 2:01:31work. He' s a tireless worker. This man is tremendous and the
- 2:01:38truth is good, for we will be in contract. Thank you for having
- 2:01:41been with making this stop and bottom, because we have to eat a meal,
- 2:01:45sing now how good until the next bucket. Thank you, thank you

- 2:09:41It is not a big word bridge, it is only an immense pleasure
- 2:09:48to have in the train of life a traveler very dear, very dear to
- 2:09:52many of us, as it is one of the most international characters of our

- 2:10:05us, there we have taken to the flight, because it flies in all
- 2:10:09directions. This is the bird heading north, south, east and west.
- 2:10:16Good morning, dear, itiel Julio, what a joy to make this stop
- 2:10:24and be able to visit good friends. I love you a lot. I
- 2:10:30really appreciate your love and always being here with the show audience is an honor
- 2:10:35to me. Then this stop, this stop is of pleasure how good is
- 2:10:41something mutual and tiel. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 2:10:48hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 2:10:48hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 2:10:48hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 2:10:48hey, hey. We call it Congress because it' s a summons.
- 2:10:52We do not discuss at the table or in working groups. We are
- 2:10:58all a little in unison celebrating the greatness of God. Let' s look
- 2:11:05at it, because more than two zero people who are already practically summoned and
- 2:11:11those who are still in the last Sprint we are going to have on the
- 2:11:16twenty- sixth to the twenty- eighth of April, there in Reus,
- 2:11:20in the Fira de reusen Tarragona, which, by the way, we are
- 2:11:20also going to you. We' re gonna have the pleasure of having you
- 2:11:22among the guests. Hey, what does this call name suggest to you until
- 2:11:26he comes. Well, Julio, I have to say that, although you
- 2:11:33have been very kind and have put me there among the guests, I am
- 2:11:39going to learn because it seems to me that it is going to be a
- 2:11:46congress of much learning, challenge to acquire vision for what is coming in the
- 2:11:52future and, above all, to be ready for the moment when Jesus comes.
- 2:11:56No, then I want you to know that both my wife and I
- 2:12:00are going with that desire to receive all that God has for us and I
- 2:12:05want to encourage the audience to join this call, which I believe is a
- 2:12:11divine call. I mean, July that I usually go as a guest to
- 2:12:16many events, but there are some key that I reserve to attend as an
- 2:12:24apprentice and this is one of them and I would like to encourage everyone else
- 2:12:28to join, because I think they will learn a lot then at first I
- 2:12:31would tell you this and if you want, now I will answer the question.
- 2:12:35Yes, let' s see if anyone asks me from one another or
- 2:12:39from or in front of you that sees about you or others hears and where
- 2:12:43these people feed themselves. I don' t say well as far as I
- 2:12:50know, not only do I have a great affection for Itiel, but I
- 2:12:54care about her well- being. I mean it he doesn' t go
- 2:12:58around saying everything he does does to the public, but what' s where
- 2:13:03he slows down feeds. He knows he has a personal discipline of what he
- 2:13:07has to do, but this connection, precisely of these people, is one
- 2:13:11of the connections that he has in secret that I make public, because if
- 2:13:16you know the mission institute, or take your place, or you know these
- 2:13:22people and the substance that they have in their biblical teaching, so powerful and
- 2:13:28so rich, so vitaminic, I say not good, I myself, after
- 2:13:33so many years, also feed back many of his teachings that are of the
- 2:13:39highest quality. I say so, and it has in this case too,
- 2:13:45i e ah caramba. I say clearly what you think it is that he
- 2:13:48lives from the air, no, and he lives from constant learning and I
- 2:13:54also from one another interact. You' re right You' re right.
- 2:13:58Someone once said that one is the result of the five closest influences in his
- 2:14:05life. So, whenever someone asks me Itiel why you live, how you
- 2:14:11live or why you have those approaches or that passion. I always say it
- 2:14:18' s because I' m surrounded by people who challenge me and drive me
- 2:14:24to a more passionate, dedicated, committed life. And I think that,
- 2:14:28as part of spiritual discipline, you don' t just have to have your
- 2:14:33reading of the Bible or your prayer or your devotional search. I think you
- 2:14:39also need to know how to create a good network of friends and make community.
- 2:14:46For that reason, someone like me must first always be integrated into the
- 2:14:50local church. That' s non- negotiable. You have to be in
- 2:14:56the local community, because there is no other way to be healthy in spiritual
- 2:15:01life and then take advantage of that global network that today we can harness through
- 2:15:07virtual means or through this globalized world and nourish ourselves with the good influence of
- 2:15:13men and women of God who challenge us to a life burning for God.
- 2:15:20And I think Mariano Senewald, Benjamín Núñez, Marcos Burunet, Julio Pérez,
- 2:15:30all the team behind him until he comes, are people I want to learn
- 2:15:33from and I want to have a good close look to look a little bit
- 2:15:39like them. You know Maria Nosen the same, Mark Brunet. In fact,
- 2:15:48this one, for example, participates in the great conference that has this
- 2:15:52summer there in Monte great intimacy with the beloved that people have. If you
- 2:15:56were aware of that conference, you would not miss something of the best in
- 2:16:01the Christian world every year. And you' re also invited with them.
- 2:16:05But it means Maria Nosen Igual, Marcos Burune, Benjamin Núñez, a young
- 2:16:11man. Still well, all four of them are young. But when you
- 2:16:15hear Benjamin' s word and but which planet this kid came from, I
- 2:16:20don' t and I don' t exaggerate that I' m not easily
- 2:16:24impressed by anything. How would you describe them to each one of them,
- 2:16:28starting with Marians Like we have the father, the son and the holy spirit,
- 2:16:37this joke looks at each one of them. Each of them has an
- 2:16:39invaluable personal wealth. First, I would point out in general that although their
- 2:16:52teaching is inspiring, their people, their heart, their character, really is
- 2:16:58most not of all, because not only do they preach beautiful, but they
- 2:17:05are people who reflect the character of Jesus and I do not say so to
- 2:17:13flatter him, but I really believe it. So, I think that what
- 2:17:15they preach and what they live with is aligned, they are coherent and they
- 2:17:24really live with the intensity with which they live, because they believe the message
- 2:17:28they are preaching. And it seems obvious to say this, but you'
- 2:17:33d be surprised to know how many people preach because it sounds nice, but
- 2:17:39then it doesn' t apply that which you' re preaching in your own
- 2:17:39life. And I think both Mariano and Benjamin Marcos do and the result is
- 2:17:45fiery lives. I could tell you about each one of them. For me,
- 2:17:52first, Marcos Brunet was someone who accompanied me in many of my moments
- 2:18:01of devotional life. I think we all started meeting him when we listened to
- 2:18:11the CDs. At that time of taking your place or of intimate worship,
- 2:18:16and Mark Brunet, his voice, his spontaneous worship, has accompanied us in
- 2:18:22many devotionals. Then I discovered him as a preacher and realized that he was
- 2:18:26not only a good and deep worshiper, but behind that worship there was theology,
- 2:18:31there was knowledge of God and I think he has that beautiful blend of
- 2:18:37a worshiper who knows the depths of God. De Mariano would tell you that
- 2:18:46he is a shepherd and has understood the moment that we are living, the
- 2:18:54era that has come to us to live and I believe that, as a
- 2:19:01visionary man, he has been able to answer this Commission of God to create
- 2:19:07a training institute to prepare many to be pioneers of the second Avenue. When
- 2:19:11I spend time with him, I always learn something, and above all,
- 2:19:16I learn not from the tremendous knowledge that he has so much, but from
- 2:19:22the pastoral heart, because I see that he wishes to shepherd a generation,
- 2:19:31to impel it to this great call to be people who prepare the way for
- 2:19:37the Second Coming of Christ and Benjamin Núñez. I' d tell you he
- 2:19:37' s one of these teachers who always pulls something new and something old,
- 2:19:43something new and something old out of the treasure trunk. Like you said before,
- 2:19:48when you listen to him, teaching you say wow where you got this
- 2:19:54from. I think you have to have a lot of concentration every time you
- 2:20:00hear Benjamin is not a superficial or light message. It always lays a really
- 2:20:07deep foundation for what is to come, issues related to intimacy with God,
- 2:20:13Second Avenue, eschatology, and the realities of God' s Kingdom. So
- 2:20:20I think each of them contributes a lot and we' re going to have
- 2:20:26them in Spain. You have spoken of this Congress in Argentina, which is
- 2:20:31a past, but we have the opportunity to have the same ones who are
- 2:20:35in Argentina in Spain and we cannot miss this opportunity. July is fantastic from
- 2:20:41the 26th to the 28th of April. We' re a few days away
- 2:20:46from the date, from the big date. There, in the giant pavilion
- 2:20:50of the fire of Reus, a very emblematic place of this the best place
- 2:20:56of Reus. There is also a band a day before, a pre-
- 2:21:01congress for pastors, already in fact, there are more than 400 pastors and
- 2:21:07writings, creating that we will surely come to more. The auditorium is six
- 2:21:11hundred. The auditium also that there is above the pavilion and the truth is
- 2:21:18that preamble to Congress for frontline leaders. Pastors, pastors, elders, consorts
- 2:21:26and leaders of the very first line, because they also have a word of
- 2:21:33faith for everyone, even for the leaders. They have one characteristic in common
- 2:21:37among others three of them I know all three, also Mariano. We live
- 2:21:41it more closely, because it is very affectionate, besides a great messenger and
- 2:21:46is that they are very passionate. All three of you, this is beyond
- 2:21:50doubt. They exude passion, but have a feature that is not fashionable and
- 2:21:56humble. They' re truly humble. They do not go to us as
- 2:22:05messengers of Jesus, in love with Jesus. They breathe it on all four
- 2:22:11sides. Then, from twenty- six to twenty- eight April for everyone
- 2:22:18can enter the page until he comes tre doubles of rigor point until he comes
- 2:22:22point is and there they can look for the modality. If you are a
- 2:22:26pastor or lead leader, you can also come in the previous and there we
- 2:22:31will be already there and he also with his family, we will all be
- 2:22:35there thank God. Already or Matorrado who is my colleague, they are praying
- 2:22:39and many more than pastors friends and truth that come pastors from the north,
- 2:22:45from the south of the whole country. Sergio Zubillaga plays well watered uzta,
- 2:22:48endless, frames, etcetera, etcetera. No And because they want to hear
- 2:22:54the voice of these swordsmen, I call them the three mojeteros to s They
- 2:23:01certainly like the name. I like the name And it is good that they
- 2:23:09team up with men and women of God here in Spain are challenging us to
- 2:23:18prepare for what is coming and I think that Spain will be as an important
- 2:23:24piece on the divine game board regarding the latest final events. I believe that
- 2:23:35Spain in particular will have a very interesting part in this and I believe that
- 2:23:41this Congress is a divine call for the Church in Spain to become courageous,
- 2:23:46to face the great challenges with courage, because it will be difficult times,
- 2:23:52but also times of great glory, and I believe that one cannot separate one
- 2:23:56from the other. Sometimes we just want to keep the glory and run away
- 2:24:01from suffering. But the Church does not flee. The Church is present.
- 2:24:05The Church takes on the challenge, the breakdown of suffering and carries it in
- 2:24:11such a way that it gives glory to God. And I think that the
- 2:24:15most beautiful always arises in the most horrible contexts and the greatest light shines in
- 2:24:22the most terrible darkness. Then I think very interesting times are coming and I
- 2:24:30want to be ready Julio. Yeah, hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 2:24:37hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 2:24:37hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 2:24:37hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 2:24:37hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
- 2:24:37You said it. I remember in the two thousand twelve I was in
- 2:24:41Argentina and I listened to Marcos the spontaneous singing and so many beautiful things,
- 2:24:46which was something original and he has a grace. In fact, we sing
- 2:24:50Many of the songs we sing in all the churches of the world are written
- 2:24:56by Marcos Brunet and Lucas and their entire team that will be there one Saturday
- 2:25:01night, at night 27 April, a concert with the whole band takes another
- 2:25:05place and with like as well and all the good one. And they are
- 2:25:09not people who show themselves, but are worshipers of the real ones and invite
- 2:25:15us all to be able to participate in that experience. But this thing on
- 2:25:20Avenida de Jesús Notice, they have two axes. Well, they talk about
- 2:25:24a lot of topics, they' re very inspiring and very challenging, but
- 2:25:30they have several of them two axes. One is the culture of intimacy with
- 2:25:31God, who have in it a special grace, especially Marian how to develop
- 2:25:39it truly and live it that live it. And then the subject of the
- 2:25:43attitude of the Church in these last times common to pioneers of the Avenue of
- 2:25:50the Lord But not as an armistice nor dramatic, nor as a plan of
- 2:25:56torture or terror. But beware, things are going to be as they are,
- 2:26:00but live the Christian life, the whole compendium of Christian life, because
- 2:26:05if not I, my generation yours, probably yes my children' s Hello,
- 2:26:11because you could be my son perfectly hello, because my daughter is about
- 2:26:16your age, and or my grandchildren very but highly likely will receive Lord Jesus
- 2:26:22by the signs of the times. It means living the whole Christian life in
- 2:26:30all aspects in the light of Christ' s return And, as the apostle
- 2:26:33John says, this hope in him purifies us, sanctifies us. That'
- 2:26:39s better than that. I enjoy it that way and I don' t
- 2:26:41know how you absolutely live it. And I think that when we just focus
- 2:26:52on discovering the signs, we become a person in alarmists, maybe yellowish people.
- 2:27:03But I believe that an eschatology that connects with intimacy with Jesus is the
- 2:27:09eschatology that we see in Revelation, that finally, the word apocalypse means revelation,
- 2:27:16is to see what is hidden. And every apocalypse is based not so
- 2:27:22much on the antichrist, the beast, the great Babylonian that are there,
- 2:27:28but it is based above all on discovering that the great victor is Jesus and
- 2:27:35understanding his glory and understanding that he is worthy to untie all the seals of
- 2:27:41history. Then I believe that eschatology without intimacy can even be harmful to our
- 2:27:50spiritual life. The other day, someone asked me and Tiel, do you
- 2:27:54think the antichrist is such a person? Or such a person or such person?
- 2:28:00And who do you think the antichrist is? And Tiel, how to
- 2:28:03discover the Antichrist. And I stopped that person and I said look, I
- 2:28:07see you very obsessed with Antichrist. It would be much better for you to
- 2:28:13know Christ, because when you know Christ deeply, you will be able to
- 2:28:20better discern the appearance of Antichrist, because Antichrist is just going to be the
- 2:28:24opposite of Christ. Whoever opposes Christ and cannot pretend to know the Antichrist if
- 2:28:28you have not had an intimacy with Christ first, then I believe that our
- 2:28:33great obsession should be to know the Christ and after that intimacy with him will
- 2:28:41derive the rest of wisdom. But wisdom, an apparent wisdom detached from intimacy.
- 2:28:48It is nothing more than catological yellowings and trying to get cabals from what
- 2:28:58is going to happen or how it is going to be and we can have
- 2:29:03a good time doing it even that Christian entertainment can be fun. No,
- 2:29:07but I think the most important thing is that our heart is so full of
- 2:29:13the revelation of Jesus, of the coming Jesus, that we have our own
- 2:29:18personal apocalypse, that we can see him and understand that he is the great
- 2:29:26victor of history and that we long for his coming, so that then everything
- 2:29:31else that is going to happen becomes meaningful within that intimacy that we have with
- 2:29:35Jesus. I don' t know if I explain the point. I love
- 2:29:39this reflection. I think it' s very descriptive and I can subscribe and
- 2:29:43I think many are. That' s how you have to live from another
- 2:29:48three movies of these already, in fact, what' s going to happen
- 2:29:54is already being before our eyes. But of course, the final brooch is
- 2:29:58going to be a world desistable that is advocated, but this will bring us
- 2:30:05closer to the mega point of history. But living it in that attitude is
- 2:30:07if not the other. It' s a terror that seems to be that
- 2:30:15I don' t know, you don' t know where you' re
- 2:30:16going. No. No, no, it' s not like that.
- 2:30:18It' s like you were saying.“ Hey, look,” says
- 2:30:20a friend of mine, Lucas Marquez, who is an international speaker. It
- 2:30:26also says the wheel of history," Dear friends, the Antichrist does not
- 2:30:30carry it" The wheel of history takes him to Christ from the beginning and
- 2:30:33to the end. He' s the one who leads the story and is
- 2:30:37going to end it in total victory. It is not and it says that
- 2:30:39we should not attribute to Antichrist what it is not or what it is going
- 2:30:46to be, but what Christ really is, our lord and then good,
- 2:30:50for it is pure good truth already to go closing I do not want to
- 2:30:56abuse your generosity of time and to remind our listeners is that Congress until he
- 2:31:03comes. And the subtitle is that I have given you, the subtitle of
- 2:31:07my book, which will be released later this year. Today closer than ever,
- 2:31:09look at you I' m doing spoiler on her. So, today,
- 2:31:16closer than ever, until he comes. We' ll meet the guests
- 2:31:20there. Mariano Senewal, director of the Instituto Misión, there in Buenos Aires,
- 2:31:26great speaker writer Marcos Brunet, known with all his band, comes to
- 2:31:33take your place in Lucas Corry company will also be managing and then Benjamin Núñez,

- 2:31:54also be with us. He says no I come to you just to be
- 2:31:56yes, but we go to him. We have to take advantage of it
- 2:32:00a little, a little, a little bit of the juice. He'
- 2:32:01s gonna hit us and then he' s gonna be with us and it
- 2:32:07' s gonna be you. You can enter the page. You go up
- 2:32:09double point until he comes point is and there are modalities that come to the
- 2:32:13Precongress. If that' s pastor or pastor elder leader, if you'
- 2:32:18re a front- line leader, you can come from Thursday afternoon until Friday

- 2:32:43It' s time for truth and til and now. The truth is
- 2:32:46that we cannot seize opportunities like this truth. That' s right, see
- 2:32:52you there July very eagerly. I embrace you with affection and encourage everyone who
- 2:32:58' s listening to this and they say I don' t have enough time
- 2:33:05to organize Look. If you feel like getting out, time is worth cancelling
- 2:33:11some other engagement and attending this divine appointment, God is calling us as a
- 2:33:18church to be pioneers of his second avenue. That' s right, dear,
- 2:33:22my friend, I' m sending you a big hug and tie.

- 2:35:33gentlemen, and allow me, good day, because we are from Barcelona in
- 2:35:39Catalonia and we have news, because the USA is a celebration for all the
- 2:35:46evangelical people, all the Protestant people in Spain. The inauguration at last,
- 2:35:50already after so much work and so long projecting a magnificent design that has attracted
- 2:35:56the attention of the avant- garde architects also for its avant- garde design,
- 2:36:05is worth the redundancy of the Evangelic Hospital. We called him the new
- 2:36:07Evangelic Hospital, but it is the Evangelic Hospital in Barcelona and also in Spain.
- 2:36:13And there we have your Director General, Reyes Gualda, who is going
- 2:36:16to explain to us a little bit how things are. Good morning, Reyes,
- 2:36:20good morning, Julio, delighted to be here with you. Well,
- 2:36:26finally, at last, the dream has come true, right, yes,
- 2:36:31yes, almost three years ago of constructions. It has burned us a lot,
- 2:36:37but well, at last we have a new hospital that is beautiful,
- 2:36:45as you said, It has more than ten thousand meters, two hundred beds
- 2:36:50and we are very proud to inaugurate shortly. On the 13th of next Saturday
- 2:36:54we move our outbuildings on Camelias Street to a new hospital or is located in
- 2:37:01the lied. A very innovative area of Barcelona has been stolen. Yes,
- 2:37:05yes, it is the area, the area that is growing where many companies
- 2:37:13are installing, especially technological. Modern Barcelona more than contemporary. Well, then,
- 2:37:22what are the services now that he offers the Evangelic Hospital of the city
- 2:37:28of Barcelona in this new stage, because Julio looks before explaining that services.
- 2:37:35I would like all listeners to understand what kind of hospital you are and I
- 2:37:41wanted to expect that we are a hospital specialized in the recovery of fragile people
- 2:37:48who have several chronic diseases and make them very vulnerable to any health problems that
- 2:37:56have happened, because it causes a great deterioration in them, both physically and
- 2:38:01often also at the cognitive level, is to locate the type of hospital that
- 2:38:03we are. So, this is a hospital called an intermediate care hospital.
- 2:38:11It is something that this concept, I think it is unknown, goes to
- 2:38:16unknown to the ordinary citizen and is called some reasons why it is called intermediate.
- 2:38:20It is because it is in this intermediate period between that it is that
- 2:38:26I give them a hospital and you return home, because this type of people,
- 2:38:31who usually coincide with people are older, their recovery is quite slow and
- 2:38:37require a stay in hospital after the hospital. So it is this time between
- 2:38:41a person leaving the hospital, returning home or returning to the residence where he
- 2:38:46lived. That kind of medicine we make, that' s specialized in these
- 2:38:56kind of people. The three key axes is a very integral vision of the
- 2:39:03person, a vision that not only affects the physical part, being also the
- 2:39:09emotional part, the psychological part, the spiritual part, also the focus.
- 2:39:16As it is supersounds that have many basic pathologies or more generally more than four,
- 2:39:22it requires an approach or a treatment of their situation from a very multidisciplinary
- 2:39:28point of view, which involves doctors, nurses, occupational plautas pisios, psychologists,
- 2:39:37social workers and with everything, the team. The third key of this
- 2:39:43kind of attention that is designed an individual plan for each person to be able
- 2:39:48to recover and achieve the objectives of returning home, of doing the road again
- 2:39:54day by day, of being autonomous, etcetera. So this is the type
- 2:39:58of the hospital and within this guy' s hospital our services, because we
- 2:40:05have both partner of its spiralization and outpatient hospitalization services. We have, as
- 2:40:09I said before, two hundred beds divided into units of supuds. It is.
- 2:40:15When a patient pays for emergencies, he has just been diagnosed and already
- 2:40:22from the emergency room, he goes directly to our hospital for treatment, which
- 2:40:28can last between eight or ten days. Then we have the functional recovery unit,
- 2:40:33which are for febook fractures another type of fractures that must be very intensive
- 2:40:39decentration in rehabitation. We don' t also have a long- stay unit
- 2:40:48that already has a patient. There it can be, because more days about
- 2:40:50a hundred days that are shelves in which the cures, which are complex and
- 2:40:56take a long time, the patient in or that redefined and then we also
- 2:41:03have a unit of pure valiatives that what is sought is comfort and that the
- 2:41:11patient is painless in the last days of his life. On the other hand,
- 2:41:18we also have at the outpatient level a therapeutic day hospital that we have
- 2:41:24about thirty pests to make both functional and cognitive realizations and specialized geriatric consultations in
- 2:41:37the near future. What we are going to do is we are going to
- 2:41:43expand the hospital beyond what are the four walls and we are going to do
- 2:41:48home care and home care also to the same type of patient profile that we
- 2:41:54have and there is a project, which is a very innovative project in the
- 2:41:56city of Barcelona, which we are going to do together with the professional is
- 2:42:03LIX, which is the ninth Catalan health situation, and we are going to
- 2:42:07make a community unit of fragility. I also want to specify that we are
- 2:42:13a hospital is a private foundation of Christian values and we offer public service,
- 2:42:24so we work hand in hand with all public health resources. I' ve
- 2:42:31explained myself little extensive, but no, but happy every time the kind of
- 2:42:37specialists you' ve perfectly updated us and besides, you know, we celebrate.
- 2:42:41I also celebrate clearly we spoke with different health and professional means and this
- 2:42:50type of intermediate care hospitals is deficient in Barcelona, that is, it means
- 2:42:56that there are few yes places attended. This type of uchas is deficient.
- 2:43:01Yeah, yeah, that' s why it' s one, it'
- 2:43:07s an offer, it' s a proposal coming up. It is covering
- 2:43:09a great need in this kind of intermediate assistance between transitions that is not usual
- 2:43:18and I think it is a great service and that audacity also to discover a
- 2:43:24need. Of course, because of the rest there are many proposals. Obviously
- 2:43:30not, but in this case it has. And more, how' s
- 2:43:35our society going? We don' t have more and more older people in
- 2:43:39society. He thinks that by two thousand and thirty, twenty- five percent
- 2:43:43of the society will be over sixty- five years old. I mean,
- 2:43:50we have a society that good people live for many years. It is positive,
- 2:43:56no, but also that the approach to health needs to be adapted and
- 2:44:03I believe that we have an evangelical hospital that manages these kinds of needs.
- 2:44:09It' s something of great value to society. In the end, it
- 2:44:15is a necessity in an increase and I think we are in the place that
- 2:44:22also touch the vision. The vision of having a health approach is not so
- 2:44:26specific. If you' re young, you have an offender, you go
- 2:44:35to a hospital, they diagnose you, and there' s a protocol that
- 2:44:41' s more than evidence that works and they apply it to you. Instead,
- 2:44:43when we talk about older people who have different pathologies, the approach gets
- 2:44:50complicated because what is good for pneumonia, in the end you get rid of
- 2:45:00that other thing and that complexity managed from the respective holistic integral is what I
- 2:45:07think is richer and I am happy to be able to dedicate myself to working
- 2:45:15in a hospital with that holistic vision. Yes, yes, and the truth
- 2:45:20another of the things, among others, that have been striking by what we
- 2:45:24are seeing and reading even the secular media, the Evangeli Hospital, which until
- 2:45:31now was the no, but it is new, but it is the Evangeli
- 2:45:35Hospital. It has been praised by many for its original architecture. What is
- 2:45:39in Barcelona' s landscaping and this is the truth, is that it is
- 2:45:43very peculiar. And that too, because it is a plus of call attention,
- 2:45:48at least to the observer. Yeah, or we had to. We
- 2:45:56have built on a plot that is public, that and that had a fault,
- 2:46:01that is catalogued and, therefore, we have built six floors, combining
- 2:46:07them with a historical facade that were the former garages of the metropolitan transports of
- 2:46:13Barcelona. The architects we select for the project are the architects very specialized in
- 2:46:24healthcare. They do many hospitals and they also have many awards and they have
- 2:46:30done a great project. The façade combines very well with the surroundings. It
- 2:46:37has different green colors that simulate the trees and when the plants go up,
- 2:46:48the building becomes more white, blue and also grayish. Simulating the clouds of
- 2:46:54Barcelona, it simulates very well what is a landscape of Barcelona. It is
- 2:47:03also located in a horite area and allows in all rooms that all have lots
- 2:47:09of light. A lot of light is made a design that optimizes the visual
- 2:47:16contact with the outside, as it also coincides that it is exterior. It
- 2:47:20is one of the first superillas of Barcelona, which is an environment, since
- 2:47:26it is very clear and beautiful. Yes, the truth is that we had
- 2:47:30made it clear, we have also taken advantage of the latest technologies in terms
- 2:47:35of sustainability and we were very clear that we wanted to build a hospital that
- 2:47:43was perceived by patients and families that we serve as very human and very welcoming,
- 2:47:50and that we have. I think we' ve made it. Also
- 2:47:52talk about works of art. We have cession of the Corts family, the
- 2:47:58cono art works of Johanns and some other artists, so it is also a
- 2:48:03space in which we will eat art and health. That' s nice,
- 2:48:09that' s original, and that' s nice, too. I'
- 2:48:13ve discovered and I think that many of us have realized that you' ve
- 2:48:18given him a lot of love. In addition to the novelty, so desired
- 2:48:22and desired by all the evangelical people, the Protestant people, the populace protesting
- 2:48:28Catalonia and Spain also, as it is not one in any way, is
- 2:48:35a flagship book the evangelical hospital. True, yes, yes, well,
- 2:48:41may it become. There is also another thing that is also important that we
- 2:48:48know that we are the first to design a double room with the opposite beds.
- 2:48:56This allows both patients who are in the same room to see the outside,
- 2:49:01even though they can run the curtain, that is, it works with
- 2:49:07two curtains and they can both see the exterior and what is the design of
- 2:49:11the room, two individual rooms with those participate and this has been visited we
- 2:49:18have passed many visits by other hospitals that are proposing reforms or that are doing
- 2:49:24new work to evaluate so to follow this model. And now the next hospital
- 2:49:31he' s going to do, which is a mental health whistle in Barcelona,
- 2:49:35and so on this model. So we' re very happy that we
- 2:49:41' ve changed the way the service is going to be provided in these types
- 2:49:45of double rooms, because it changes a lot for the patient. The possibilities
- 2:49:50offered by this room are much wider than those of a traditional room. They
- 2:49:58also have separate lights. One patient from the other two televisions is a grey
- 2:50:05is like a higher level of double action. As for volunteers and also apart
- 2:50:13from the volunteers of the Evangelic Hospital and more, in this new stage there
- 2:50:18is also a call for the solidarity of volunteers that can give an important and
- 2:50:26clear role for us volunteers. It' s part of our DNA. Our
- 2:50:35mission is to offer, is to provide physical, emotional and spiritual well-
- 2:50:41being with a model of attention, a tape to the person. And this,
- 2:50:46in order to get this out, is very important the work that volunteers
- 2:50:48do, for volunteers who can spend time and offer their affection at the foot
- 2:50:56of bed so few famous of time all, because that is very, very,
- 2:51:01very important to patients and to table a song with them and get to
- 2:51:05know them more thoroughly, make them feel they have value. All this is
- 2:51:09a plus that without the volunteers we couldn' t make it. Then it
- 2:51:15is necessary that we have and I give a ride to whoever wants to volunteer.
- 2:51:20There are many options to be able to offer help, from accompanying patients
- 2:51:31to medical visits outside our hospital, that accompaniment that before also told them the
- 2:51:39spiritual accompaniment for those volunteers who are well prepared in this field. Well,
- 2:51:45the truth is, the fan is very wide and yes, the truth is.
- 2:51:48If someone who hears this message wants to be part of our type of
- 2:51:54volunteers, then that enters the web and contact us there is a contact tab
- 2:52:00and we have more information than values and can really be a site where it
- 2:52:07can be developed. That' s his magnificent volunteer. We' ve asked
- 2:52:13for moves, but really? I don' t want to ask for more,
- 2:52:20because it' s so successful that we have over a hundred volunteers,
- 2:52:24that is, we' re going to assign one volunteer per patient, that
- 2:52:31' s almost really been a great satisfaction of all those who have wanted to
- 2:52:39come together to get there how nice this speaks of the collective illusion that also
- 2:52:45in the evangelical people ay for this hospital that is at the service of all.
- 2:52:46Of course, nothing more would be missing clear than yes, but only
- 2:52:50in a summarized way for our listeners who have incorporated themselves and are somewhat unaware
- 2:52:58of the existence of the Evangelic Hospital of Barcelona and at this very new age,
- 2:53:05the historical origins of the Evangeli Hospital in the city of Barcelona, which
- 2:53:09are very interesting medium, even when there were few care facilities one of them
- 2:53:16was the Evangeli Hospital in its time as a dispensary that later became a hospital.
- 2:53:18True, yes, it goes back to 1, 800 seventy- nine
- 2:53:30hundred and forty- five years we are a hospital or one of the oldest
- 2:53:37thousands in Barcelona. Together with Sanpao, I mean, we have a very
- 2:53:41beautiful downhill trajectory. Of course, Angel Hospital and Cornace for a need for
- 2:53:46the evangelists to be treated in a correct way in the health centers that at
- 2:53:56that time were all basically Catholics and there was discrimination for the evangelicals. Of
- 2:54:03course this has changed a lot over time. That was its beginning there is
- 2:54:09that a free hospital was opened that catered to all kinds of people, regardless
- 2:54:16of their faith and on equal terms then, of course, it was a
- 2:54:22hospital that was supported, helped by international funds and became a high- tech
- 2:54:30hospital, in which it was state- of- the- art and had
- 2:54:37a lot of prestige. Then, already with the Spanish Civil War, because
- 2:54:41it already became a field hospital, to be a habit point, habitation for
- 2:54:45children and older people, that gave milk, street people, food and then
- 2:54:50had to yield because of a political depression, to the foreign gatherings and it
- 2:55:00was the hospital of the foreign colonies. And at the death of the Frank
- 2:55:07and with religious freedom, he gave himself back to the pathonate of the evangelical
- 2:55:15churches and was once again a hospital, to the evangelical hospital. We have
- 2:55:26already reached a stage in which, because of the reform of public health,
- 2:55:31a concert was reached with the evangelical hospital and since nineteen hundred and seventy-
- 2:55:35six also makes public health and grace private health. And lately, because we
- 2:55:43have moved to make a center of internal evidence of the many years and now
- 2:55:50we inaugurate new stage, a new building two thousand twenty- four. Yeah,
- 2:55:56exactly good. We' re practically in the opening this month, aren
- 2:56:01' t we? Yeah, yeah. The transfer is next weekend. As
- 2:56:05for openings, we plan to do them after the transfer, so that we
- 2:56:11are there, we are all already evolving the whole hospital in a normal way.
- 2:56:18Think that not only do we have to make a transfer, which is
- 2:56:22the traditional grangélic hospital that you know on Camelia Street, but that in the
- 2:56:28last two years we have expanded and now we have patients in other hospitals,
- 2:56:33we have patients in the hospital of Hope. We have two floors from there,
- 2:56:37so first we move the patients from Camelias Street and then we move a
- 2:56:43few weeks later, week and mediate the patients in Hope. So, when
- 2:56:46we' re all together there, we' ll do the openings. We
- 2:56:52plan to make four, that is to say, openings, the first with
- 2:56:58the staff, with our professionals, the second with the angelic people, which
- 2:57:03is a time to be able to celebrate and we want to do it,
- 2:57:15because in our style, really in a time of participation and of so great
- 2:57:22years, And then we will also give after the elections, we will make
- 2:57:31a good opening that participates in the politicians and also the sector that directs us,
- 2:57:35let' s say in the field of health. And finally, we
- 2:57:37want to do an open day with the neighborhood, with the neighbors and be
- 2:57:43there to let us know how beautiful, how beautiful it will be. Moreover,
- 2:57:48and it is also intelligent to do so after the elections, because now
- 2:57:52well, as they are in all the political discourse and not to be told,
- 2:57:58let us say that the Evangelis are a hospital for everyone, for all
- 2:58:03the citizens and at the service of all the people of Barcelona and of the
- 2:58:09people of Catalonia, of course, and of course not by extension towards the
- 2:58:13Spanish people. But kings, besides celebrating it that we celebrate it above all
- 2:58:18as an evangelical people, for it is Protestant. What we can bring evangelical
- 2:58:26believers and the evangelical churches of Catalonia to the Evangelic Hospital in this new stage.
- 2:58:33What can be our benign and positive contribution, because I already believe that
- 2:58:41what we can contribute today to the churches and also in the hospital itself a
- 2:58:46rapprochement, to provide more information with our part and to create interest in knowing
- 2:58:56what we do And I would tell you without interest and be identification with a
- 2:59:05work that aims to care for people and manage people and fulfill the mission that
- 2:59:09we have all received. So what I would tell you is that identification with
- 2:59:15mission and this interest and, of course, a commitment to prayer and volunteering.
- 2:59:26Anyone who wants to help us on a recurring basis is welcome and even
- 2:59:33volunteers. Perhaps they are different from traditional and professional lawyers or communication experts or
- 2:59:39other types of profiles that help us to make the Angelic spice recognized to us
- 2:59:46that we can communicate abroad not only the affection we put to things, but
- 2:59:54the professionalism with which we want to alternate and every day is improved. Well,
- 3:00:05well, it is also clear, the establishment of professionals, this very
- 3:00:09first level of the Evangelic Hospital how it has always been characterized, even in
- 3:00:18its old stage. Now what happens is that it is also a relaunch in
- 3:00:22a version already avant- garde for the design that is striking. It is
- 3:00:28kindly striking and, moreover, because of the novelty of a bet to the
- 3:00:33day of modernity, of a series of accents that, therefore, has more
- 3:00:39updated. Obviously, one step forward. And well, and it' s
- 3:00:45a badge buoki for the city and also for the whole evangelical people, because
- 3:00:52we' re there, it' s worth asking you to be like we
- 3:01:01already saw we opened our professionals by April, we already have them, but
- 3:01:05the truth is that yes, we' re always looking for nurses, looking
- 3:01:07for doctors. And the truth if from the evangelical people wanted to enter the
- 3:01:16hospital to work and to conceive that this is an issue point, because it
- 3:01:22would also be very interesting, of course, entering the website. They can
- 3:01:26contact you directly professionals. And so much and so much, yes, yes,
- 3:01:31yes surely that in other parts of Spain there will be interesting professional people
- 3:01:37that there are to see them, those, there are and are not so
- 3:01:41few indigenous as many Latin Americans who are professionals of medicine and that we,
- 3:01:48I, for example, in our own churches, in Spain, in forty
- 3:01:54and so many churches Britania, we have medical professionals and surely some would like
- 3:02:03to think about the Evangeli Hospital and Barcelona. But in any case, we
- 3:02:05make this public appeal. Also of course, if you enter the website of
- 3:02:09the Hospital Evangelic of Barcelona, all the information mesh, yes, dear kings
- 3:02:16and you have something more to add, because already I will leave you because
- 3:02:20you have work, but it is this part of the time that you have
- 3:02:26dedicated to us and the thanks personally of polio. Of course, then,
- 3:02:30with great pleasure kings that we give at your disposal this is always your station
- 3:02:33and, of course, your home. I also send you a very affectionate
- 3:02:37greeting. Chao Chaocho Hello, socrayes Walda, director Sanadalda to the very good
