We tend to get depressed about the world situation we find ourselves in. The issues confronting humanity are seemingly threatening extinction of the human race and we see noeasy solutions; in fact, they appear to be getting worse. We have numerous different directions that are suggested for a way forward. There are political solutions, economic solutions, technological solutions, environmental solutions, and some even propose simply finding a way to colonize another planet rather than solve the problems…
