- 0:11Speaker 3: Okay, go ahead.
- 0:12Speaker 4: Hiya from the bottom of my pure beef heart.
- 0:18Speaker 3: That should be the intro.

- 1:14Speaker 7: I hope that donkey.
- 1:16Speaker 5: Doesn't have a hiney troll.
- 1:21Speaker 10: What's up and welcome to Movie Meltdown.
- 1:27Speaker 11: I'm Brian.
- 1:28Speaker 4: I'm Misty.
- 1:30Speaker 5: I'm Jay.
- 1:31Speaker 11: And we are once again coming to you from the
- 1:32Speaker 11: vehicle on the road to the infamous annual trip to Chicago.
- 1:38Speaker 4: No short bus this year.
- 1:40Speaker 11: No short bus. We have decided it was not... economical
- 1:44Speaker 11: with the number of people we have on hand to
- 1:47Speaker 11: bust out the short bus. Does this one have a name?
- 1:50Speaker 11: I can't remember.
- 1:51Speaker 4: I don't think this one has a name. I don't
- 1:53Speaker 4: think Jay's named his car.
- 1:55Speaker 12: What?
- 1:55Speaker 4: The car doesn't have a name.
- 1:56Speaker 11: The car doesn't have a name.
- 2:01Speaker 4: My car has a name. My car's name is Conway.
- 2:04Speaker 4: It's not a very girly car. It's just kind of cool.
- 2:07Speaker 9: Conway.
- 2:08Speaker 11: So.
- 2:10Speaker 11: Not quite the huge group that it was last time,
- 2:12Speaker 11: but we have dragged someone else along. We can introduce
- 2:16Speaker 11: you to Natasha.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Hi.
- 2:20Speaker 11: Odd, I suppose. A few weeks ago, we were at
- 2:24Speaker 11: another convention. You were actually at Fright Night a while ago.
- 2:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:31Speaker 11: And now, did you have any idea you would end
- 2:33Speaker 11: up stuck in a car riding to Chicago with us?
- 2:37Speaker 4: Well, certainly didn't.
- 2:39Speaker 11: Little did you know.
- 2:40Speaker 4: I still didn't, so.
- 2:41Speaker 11: Yeah, that's true. It was still questionable, but. So, it's
- 2:46Speaker 11: an exciting life you lead, is what you're saying.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Yeah, it certainly is.
- 2:52Speaker 11: Oh, well that can be, I don't even have, as
- 2:54Speaker 11: far as Geek Week, I haven't watched anything that I
- 2:56Speaker 11: haven't actually talked about on the show, is the sad part.
- 3:00Speaker 11: Everything I watch, I end up talking about on the show. So, um,
- 3:04Speaker 11: I was trying to think of anything else random, and, uh,
- 3:07Speaker 11: one thing I thought, as it happened, I was like,
- 3:09Speaker 11: this is a very geek thing, and only really occurs
- 3:14Speaker 11: at something like a convention. So, uh, I was gonna
- 3:17Speaker 11: at least pass this little story along. And this was, uh,
- 3:21Speaker 11: you were involved in this, Natasha. Uh, we were hanging
- 3:23Speaker 11: out at Fright Night, um, what, three, four weeks ago,
- 3:28Speaker 11: however long it's been now. And, uh, This was later
- 3:33Speaker 11: on because, you know, most of the people there don't
- 3:35Speaker 11: really have anything to do. So you seem to loiter
- 3:38Speaker 11: about in the hotel. That seems to be a pretty
- 3:40Speaker 11: standard operating procedure at these conventions. So, yeah, hanging around,
- 3:47Speaker 11: it's the middle of the night at this point because
- 3:49Speaker 11: there's nothing else useful to do. And sitting there, and
- 3:53Speaker 11: it's pretty much empty. Even most of the annoying drunk people,
- 3:56Speaker 11: and there were a lot of annoying drunk people, had
- 3:59Speaker 11: wandered off. and we're sitting there in this, like, hallway,
- 4:02Speaker 11: and at one point, this guy, obviously pretty drunk, and
- 4:07Speaker 11: it's very late at this point, so, uh, comes sort
- 4:10Speaker 11: of stumbling up, doesn't really say anything, and tries to
- 4:13Speaker 11: walk into a door, and it's closed, and almost, like,
- 4:17Speaker 11: smacks himself into it, because he's half out of it,
- 4:19Speaker 11: because he's drunk, and, uh, he, he stops, and he
- 4:23Speaker 11: sort of looks at it confused, like, and without.
- 4:27Speaker 13: Missing a beat, He pulls out a sonic screwdriver. He
- 4:31Speaker 13: zaps the handle. It lights up and everything. This was
- 4:33Speaker 13: the deluxe model. It still doesn't open.
- 4:38Speaker 11: He shrugs. And I believe without a word.
- 4:41Speaker 5: He walked off after that.
- 4:42Speaker 4: That ain't gonna work. Well, just fuck it.
- 4:46Speaker 11: I suppose so.
- 4:48Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 4:49Speaker 11: I just sat there and was like, yeah, that's the
- 4:51Speaker 11: kind of thing you only see at a convention. It's
- 4:54Speaker 11: Nowhere else in my time have I ever seen someone
- 4:57Speaker 11: just randomly pull out a sonic screwdriver, start trying to
- 5:00Speaker 11: make it work on a door. I'm not even sure
- 5:03Speaker 11: that's the specific use for sonic screwdrivers, but he was
- 5:07Speaker 11: thoroughly convinced it was going to get him in that room.
- 5:09Speaker 14: Is there a specific use for sonic screwdrivers?
- 5:13Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 5:13Speaker 11: I'm not geek enough. I don't know. Is anyone here
- 5:16Speaker 11: steeped deep enough in the doctor to tell us that?
- 5:19Speaker 11: I'm sure listeners definitely know. Awesome.
- 5:23Speaker 4: Doctor Who.
- 5:26Speaker 11: Oh, I don't watch Doctor Who. Even the new ones
- 5:29Speaker 11: I want to, but just because I've heard the new
- 5:32Speaker 11: batch are actually really well done.
- 5:33Speaker 4: You know, I really don't like the new Doctor, Matt Smith.
- 5:38Speaker 11: Just this last season or so?
- 5:39Speaker 4: This is the last season. The last two seasons he's
- 5:42Speaker 4: been on.
- 5:44Speaker 11: Does he know how to work his sonic screwdriver?
- 5:46Speaker 4: He does know how to work his sonic screwdriver.
- 5:48Speaker 11: Can't he open doors?
- 5:49Speaker 3: Dirty.
- 5:52Speaker 11: Not on our show. We would never make such innuendos
- 5:57Speaker 11: on our show. Nah, that's what I was waiting for. So, yeah,
- 6:03Speaker 11: I don't know. Had you watched The Last Doctor?
- 6:07Speaker 4: I haven't been following this season, just because I don't
- 6:10Speaker 4: like Pat Smith.
- 6:11Speaker 11: But the one before.
- 6:12Speaker 4: The one before I watched the whole season. David Tennant
- 6:15Speaker 4: before that?
- 6:16Speaker 11: Maybe it was.
- 6:17Speaker 4: It was David Tennant before that.
- 6:19Speaker 11: Who now I think is in Fright Night, isn't it?
- 6:22Speaker 4: He's like the guy that the cute kid from Star Trek.
- 6:25Speaker 5: Goes to for help.
- 6:26Speaker 11: He's the new Ronnie McDowell.
- 6:29Speaker 5: I think.
- 6:29Speaker 4: It took me a while to recognize that guy in Fortnite,
- 6:33Speaker 4: because I'm like, he doesn't have a thick accent. I
- 6:35Speaker 4: can understand what he's saying. How can that be him?
- 6:40Speaker 11: There are no vampires on this whistle.
- 6:42Speaker 4: Vampires on a whistle?
- 6:43Speaker 2: Wait a minute, I.
- 6:45Speaker 11: Think we're onto something here. I would watch that. Why
- 6:48Speaker 11: can't we have him doing vampires on this whistle? Oh,
- 6:51Speaker 11: but you were more partial to the previous Doctor?
- 6:54Speaker 14: Yeah, I preferred David Tennant to Matt Smith.
- 6:59Speaker 11: Again, I have not watched enough of it. I know
- 7:01Speaker 11: their difference, but I know they swapped out recently, but...
- 7:05Speaker 11: I've not seen enough to know one from the other
- 7:07Speaker 11: much as far as plotline or performance. I've never seen even.
- 7:10Speaker 4: A partial episode of Doctor Who. I just never got
- 7:13Speaker 4: into it. But I've seen enough of the memes and everything.
- 7:18Speaker 4: It's about my extent of knowledge of Doctor Who as
- 7:21Speaker 4: the internet memes.
- 7:23Speaker 11: Well, and it's kind of hard to... be a geek
- 7:26Speaker 11: and hang out at the conventions as much as we
- 7:28Speaker 11: are and not at least know what a Dalek is.
- 7:31Speaker 11: You're exposed to them.
- 7:32Speaker 4: I mean, I know the, you know, basic, like, the stuff,
- 7:34Speaker 4: the more visual things. Like, to my horn, a scarf,
- 7:37Speaker 4: it's usually either Harry Potter or it's Doctor Who.
- 7:41Speaker 11: That would be the Tom Baker years. See, I'm at
- 7:42Speaker 11: least geek enough to know. I have seen a few
- 7:45Speaker 11: episodes of the Tom Baker part. Even back then, they
- 7:49Speaker 11: were interesting.
- 7:50Speaker 3: They were well-written.
- 7:51Speaker 11: Obviously, they were working with a little, uh, more controlled
- 7:54Speaker 11: budget we'll say but you know it's it was fun
- 7:58Speaker 11: on its own dorky sci-fi way.
- 8:00Speaker 4: We're driving through all the windmills it always reminds me
- 8:02Speaker 4: of mac and me what mac and me was awesome
- 8:05Speaker 4: and i remember there being windmills at some point in that.
- 8:07Speaker 11: Movie oh we just need to have a whole mac
- 8:09Speaker 11: and me episode don't it's been years.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Since i've seen that movie you know i kind of
- 8:13Speaker 4: want to watch it again.
- 8:15Speaker 11: I'm guessing we wouldn't find it as endearing as we
- 8:18Speaker 11: probably did.
- 8:19Speaker 4: I've heard that it actually really sucks.
- 8:22Speaker 11: Yeah, that's all I've heard about it.
- 8:23Speaker 4: I should be able to leave my version of it
- 8:26Speaker 4: in my head and.
- 8:26Speaker 11: Just leave it there. Maybe for the best. Preserve your childhood. Windmills. Nice.
- 8:33Speaker 5: Oh, man.
- 8:34Speaker 4: They spin.
- 8:37Speaker 11: You do like things that spin and or sparkle. But
- 8:40Speaker 11: not vampires.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Can we put a windmill in our backyard?
- 8:43Speaker 5: Huh?
- 8:43Speaker 4: Can we put a windmill in our backyard?
- 8:45Speaker 11: Sure.
- 8:45Speaker 4: A real one?
- 8:46Speaker 3: Huh?
- 8:46Speaker 11: We've got a record of one of those.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Run our house on the power from it. Yeah.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Okay.
- 8:52Speaker 11: Off the grid. Oh, yeah.
- 8:56Speaker 15: I don't think you'd ever get anything done if you
- 8:58Speaker 15: had one of those in your yard. The novelty would
- 9:00Speaker 15: wear off eventually. It'd be an exciting year while it lasted,
- 9:04Speaker 15: let me tell you. It would take a year for
- 9:05Speaker 15: the novelty to wear off, get it?
- 9:07Speaker 11: Probably. You're just sitting out in the yard in a
- 9:08Speaker 11: lawn chair watching it spin around.
- 9:11Speaker 4: By the window, it's hot outside. I was kind.
- 9:20Speaker 11: Of thinking like a pinwheel action. We can find one
- 9:23Speaker 11: this weekend and once again nothing will be done but
- 9:25Speaker 11: you sitting there.
- 9:27Speaker 4: We saw the little pinwheels on sticks the other day.
- 9:31Speaker 7: It's a target.
- 9:32Speaker 11: She's like, what's this? Where do you put the batteries?
- 9:37Speaker 11: This thing's stupid.
- 9:38Speaker 16: We are the generation that is easily amused. It was
- 9:48Speaker 16: all sparkly and shit.
- 9:49Speaker 4: It was like holographic.
- 9:53Speaker 11: Now they are getting fancy with their shit. So did
- 9:57Speaker 11: that go into all our Doctor Who knowledge? or lack thereof?
- 10:02Speaker 11: Any other favorite Doctor Who moments?
- 10:05Speaker 14: Any other favorite Doctor Who moments? I just like the
- 10:10Speaker 14: David Tennant.
- 10:12Speaker 14: A couple seasons ago when Master came on. I just
- 10:16Speaker 14: felt like that was really well written. And then it
- 10:18Speaker 14: was just all downhill from there. They just couldn't get
- 10:20Speaker 14: better than that. So the writers just kind of gave up.
- 10:24Speaker 11: Maybe they did. I know they're bringing in different people now.
- 10:26Speaker 11: Neil Gaiman just did one with the new Doctor, so
- 10:28Speaker 11: that's a big deal.
- 10:30Speaker 14: I actually did see that episode of the recent season.
- 10:33Speaker 14: It was called The Doctor's Wife that Neil Gaiman wrote.
- 10:36Speaker 14: And it was actually really good, except for Matt Smith
- 10:39Speaker 14: still sucking.
- 10:40Speaker 11: Wow.
- 10:40Speaker 4: Yeah. Sure.
- 10:41Speaker 11: Not a fan of Mansfield.
- 10:43Speaker 4: Not at all. Do they change the doctors on a
- 10:45Speaker 4: regular basis for like a reason or just the actors
- 10:48Speaker 4: get tired of doing it? Well, the doctor is.
- 10:51Speaker 14: Supposed to be kind of immortal and whenever he dies,
- 10:55Speaker 14: he switches bodies.
- 10:57Speaker 11: So he's sort of like a slayer.
- 11:00Speaker 14: Yeah, kind of like a slayer, except the consciousness transfers over, too.
- 11:04Speaker 11: So he is the same person, he just gets a
- 11:06Speaker 11: new body.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Okay.
- 11:08Speaker 11: See, even that I wasn't 100% sure of. I just knew.
- 11:11Speaker 11: And I figured it all probably stemmed out of the
- 11:13Speaker 11: more practical fact of this guy wants out of his contract.
- 11:17Speaker 11: Except for Tom Baker, who did it for like 20-some
- 11:20Speaker 11: odd years.
- 11:21Speaker 14: Well, that's what happened with Christopher Eccleston. He did one season,
- 11:25Speaker 14: and then he turned down his contract because he thought
- 11:28Speaker 14: Doctor Who wasn't going to be very popular. I wonder
- 11:31Speaker 14: how pissed he is right.
- 11:32Speaker 4: Now, actually.
- 11:32Speaker 11: Yeah, as it turns out, a few people seem to
- 11:36Speaker 11: like it out there. Just a few, you know. A
- 11:39Speaker 11: handful of geeks, if you will. Well, we need to
- 11:43Speaker 11: continue on with our research into the doctor, I guess,
- 11:46Speaker 11: and get back to that. Miss PJ, did you have
- 11:49Speaker 11: your own stuff?
- 11:51Speaker 4: Geek Week stuff. The only thing I can think of
- 11:54Speaker 4: that we actually watched that we're actually allowed to talk
- 11:57Speaker 4: about at this current moment.
- 11:58Speaker 11: Because you're in the same situation as I am that
- 12:00Speaker 11: everything that you have watched lately we're going to talk
- 12:02Speaker 11: about later anyway.
- 12:03Speaker 4: The only thing I can think of right now that
- 12:05Speaker 4: we actually watched was Dylan Dog. It had some other
- 12:09Speaker 4: kind of subtitle thing.
- 12:10Speaker 11: I don't remember what it was. It's not really important.
- 12:12Speaker 4: But, yeah. Randy didn't like it, from what I understand.
- 12:15Speaker 4: From what Randy told Jay, it was just horrible. And
- 12:19Speaker 4: I kind of liked it a little bit, I guess.
- 12:21Speaker 4: It wasn't completely horrible.
- 12:22Speaker 11: It was enjoyable, I guess.
- 12:24Speaker 4: It wasn't... It didn't make me mad. It was no Expendables.
- 12:27Speaker 11: I don't know.
- 12:29Speaker 4: I mean.
- 12:29Speaker 11: If a movie doesn't make you mad, that's kind of
- 12:31Speaker 11: a big step for them.
- 12:32Speaker 17: Alright.
- 12:33Speaker 4: I'm not sure I thought that was the main guy.
- 12:34Speaker 4: Brandon Routh, whatever the fuck his name is.
- 12:37Speaker 11: I think it's Routh.
- 12:38Speaker 4: He had stupid hair.
- 12:40Speaker 11: Always has stupid hair.
- 12:41Speaker 4: Stupid hair to like half covered in ears that just
- 12:43Speaker 4: it just looks sloppy and i don't like that and
- 12:46Speaker 4: then he has this weird you know big butt pimple
- 12:48Speaker 4: chin that i.
- 12:49Speaker 11: Don't like i know you're a fan of those i.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Am not a fan of those whatsoever um but it
- 12:56Speaker 4: was i didn't hate it the main the high point
- 12:59Speaker 4: of the movie for me was his i guess you
- 13:01Speaker 4: call him like a sidekick or whatever but his partner
- 13:04Speaker 4: who also the guy who was on the american version
- 13:07Speaker 4: of being human he played the werewolf in that one
- 13:10Speaker 4: He's the best part of this whole damn movie. The
- 13:12Speaker 4: rest of it, I was just.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Like, eh.
- 13:13Speaker 11: Yeah. He's the dork from Fanboys, right?
- 13:16Speaker 4: I think so. That's a year since I've seen Fanboys.
- 13:18Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 13:19Speaker 11: He's so whiny. It's hard to get on board with
- 13:21Speaker 11: that guy.
- 13:22Speaker 18: Yeah, I'd rather just have a whole movie of him
- 13:24Speaker 18: trying to be a zombie and trying to live the
- 13:28Speaker 18: rest of his life.
- 13:30Speaker 4: Go through zombies anonymous.
- 13:31Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 13:33Speaker 4: Actually, we did watch something else. What was the movie
- 13:35Speaker 4: that we watched that pissed me off so bad? It
- 13:38Speaker 4: could be No, this was recent. Remember, it's the one
- 13:41Speaker 4: I said that I enjoyed Troll more than I liked
- 13:43Speaker 4: this movie.
- 13:45Speaker 6: Oh.
- 13:47Speaker 11: That was State Land.
- 13:51Speaker 4: No, this was the other one. The one that pissed
- 13:54Speaker 4: me off. The one with Slick and Ivan.
- 13:58Speaker 11: Oh, yeah.
- 13:58Speaker 18: You're probably going to get a lot of hate mail
- 14:00Speaker 18: for this, but neither Misty or I really liked Hobo
- 14:03Speaker 18: with the Shotgun.
- 14:04Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 14:04Speaker 4: Hobo with the Shotgun. That movie sucked so bad.
- 14:07Speaker 11: You know.
- 14:09Speaker 18: I think the best thing was the internet movie trailer.
- 14:14Speaker 11: I enjoyed it then. I thought it was really going
- 14:16Speaker 11: to be good. We watched it.
- 14:18Speaker 18: And I guess some people, you'll either like it or
- 14:22Speaker 18: you won't like it.
- 14:23Speaker 17: I can see how a lot of people would really
- 14:25Speaker 17: like it.
- 14:26Speaker 11: Because, I mean, it's got some kind of cool ideas
- 14:29Speaker 11: in it, I guess.
- 14:31Speaker 4: And Rutger Hauer is Chuckle Awesome. He is.
- 14:35Speaker 17: But just for me, it almost seems like it's trying
- 14:38Speaker 17: too hard. When I watch movies that are trying too hard,
- 14:42Speaker 17: I just don't really care.
- 14:43Speaker 4: See, it reminded me, it was almost the same level
- 14:46Speaker 4: of bad as, like, Drive Angry. But I loved Drive Angry,
- 14:49Speaker 4: but I had the knowledge that it was pretty bad
- 14:51Speaker 4: and pretty cheesy. But this, it just, I didn't enjoy
- 14:54Speaker 4: it at all.
- 14:55Speaker 18: Most of the characters couldn't die fast enough. I mean,
- 14:58Speaker 18: aside from Rutger Hauer.
- 14:59Speaker 11: He was the only one I really cared about.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Chick was okay.
- 15:01Speaker 11: Chick was okay.
- 15:04Speaker 17: The brothers were fucking annoying.
- 15:07Speaker 18: They couldn't die fast enough. Hell, I wanted to crawl
- 15:10Speaker 18: into the movie and kill them just so I wouldn't
- 15:12Speaker 18: have to watch it.
- 15:13Speaker 4: You want to reverse the ring. You want to crawl
- 15:15Speaker 4: in the TV to kill people.
- 15:16Speaker 17: And kill them so I wouldn't have to listen to
- 15:18Speaker 17: their stupid fucking one-liners. I mean, the worst one-liners. You know,
- 15:24Speaker 17: I mean, trying to be as filthy and.
- 15:26Speaker 11: Raunchy as possible. Which, hey, I'm okay with filthy and raunchy.
- 15:29Speaker 17: That's fine.
- 15:31Speaker 11: When it's not forced.
- 15:33Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 15:33Speaker 11: You know, I mean, it's forced to the point where
- 15:35Speaker 11: it's just like, really?
- 15:36Speaker 18: You're going to say that? Because that's really dumb. That
- 15:38Speaker 18: doesn't shock me. It was going more for shock value.
- 15:41Speaker 18: Everything was shock in this movie.
- 15:45Speaker 17: I've already been shocked.
- 15:46Speaker 11: It's not shocking me anymore. I'm just kind of like,
- 15:49Speaker 11: you're trying too hard, whatever. Yeah, that's one of the
- 15:53Speaker 11: ones I was just going into was like that a
- 15:54Speaker 11: couple weeks ago. I was like, you can tell how
- 15:57Speaker 11: hard they're trying to be clever with their dialogue, but
- 16:00Speaker 11: at the same time, shocking. So they're cramming in obscenity
- 16:04Speaker 11: where it doesn't really even fit naturally. So, yeah. To
- 16:08Speaker 11: give you a line out of the movie?
- 16:10Speaker 4: You're not going to get the whole thing the way
- 16:12Speaker 4: I'm thinking. I don't know.
- 16:14Speaker 11: So the girl, she's a hooker. She's in her car,
- 16:19Speaker 11: and this guy walks up to her, and he goes.
- 16:21Speaker 17: Baby, you look so good, I'd like to cut my
- 16:24Speaker 17: dick off and.
- 16:24Speaker 19: Rub it all over your tits.
- 16:27Speaker 11: That's one approach, all right. That's the dumbest line ever.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Who the fuck says that?
- 16:32Speaker 4: That's stupid.
- 16:34Speaker 11: Not really clever?
- 16:35Speaker 5: No, no, no. Dumb.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Yeah, there was no good lines in this movie.
- 16:41Speaker 18: It was like a bunch of 15-year-old boys sitting around going,
- 16:43Speaker 18: heh heh, this'll be funny.
- 16:47Speaker 11: I mean, it definitely falls in the exact same situation
- 16:51Speaker 11: as Machete, since it started as a trailer for a
- 16:56Speaker 11: movie that doesn't exist.
- 16:57Speaker 4: But Machete was fucking awesome!
- 16:59Speaker 20: Yeah.
- 17:00Speaker 4: And Danny Trejo, he really can't do any wrong.
- 17:02Speaker 11: But, you know, Rutger Hauer is also awesome, so it
- 17:06Speaker 11: seems like it should be similar, but I guess just
- 17:08Speaker 11: the writing is that bad in this one.
- 17:11Speaker 4: It is truly that bad.
- 17:13Speaker 5: It's bad.
- 17:15Speaker 11: Kind of reminds me of the line in Heathers where
- 17:16Speaker 11: the football player.
- 17:18Speaker 18: Is sitting there and he's like, I like to stick
- 17:20Speaker 18: a heather on my johns and spin around like a
- 17:22Speaker 18: goddamn pinwheel.
- 17:23Speaker 11: That's what it reminds me of.
- 17:24Speaker 18: It reminds me of like a 16-year-old football jock trying
- 17:28Speaker 18: to come up with something witty to say.
- 17:30Speaker 11: Yeah, in that movie it was satire. It was making
- 17:33Speaker 11: fun of these guys. Football players, and you're like, yeah,
- 17:36Speaker 11: I can see that guy saying that. Odds are it's
- 17:39Speaker 11: not quite as clever in Hobo with a Shotgun.
- 17:42Speaker 4: It had some creative deaths in it. I'll give it
- 17:46Speaker 4: that much.
- 17:47Speaker 14: Oh, yeah.
- 17:48Speaker 4: I'm not going to ruin anything. I'm pretty sure a
- 17:50Speaker 4: guy died with a roller, like an ice skating shoe.
- 17:54Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm pretty sure there's a death by ice skating shoe. Yeah.
- 17:58Speaker 18: And there's some things in the movie where you're just like, wow,
- 18:01Speaker 18: I didn't see that coming. So, I mean, I guess
- 18:04Speaker 18: it's entertaining if you like that.
- 18:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:07Speaker 11: Like I said, most people would probably.
- 18:08Speaker 4: Be like, I can't fucking believe it.
- 18:10Speaker 21: I'm like, what the fuck's.
- 18:11Speaker 5: Wrong with you?
- 18:12Speaker 11: I just didn't like it.
- 18:13Speaker 4: It's fine.
- 18:14Speaker 11: I'm not saying you can't like it.
- 18:15Speaker 1: And it took him way too fucking long to get
- 18:16Speaker 1: a shotgun.
- 18:17Speaker 4: If you're going to have a movie called Hulu with
- 18:18Speaker 4: a shotgun, bitch better start off with a fucking shotgun.
- 18:20Speaker 4: It takes him like half an hour to... I don't
- 18:23Speaker 4: even have... Half a movie if I can procure a shotgun.
- 18:29Speaker 4: Oh my good God. And you know what? I would
- 18:32Speaker 4: let Rutger Hauer mow our yard.
- 18:36Speaker 11: And now back to, you know, things being dirty.
- 18:38Speaker 4: Hold on.
- 18:39Speaker 17: Especially now that our damn lawn guy has disappeared.
- 18:42Speaker 11: Your weird neighbor guy?
- 18:43Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 18:44Speaker 11: He had to mow. He was supposed to mow the
- 18:45Speaker 11: yard on Thursday, and he didn't show up.
- 18:48Speaker 4: I would pay Riker Howard to mow our yard. That's
- 18:51Speaker 4: the whole point of this. His whole thing in this movie,
- 18:54Speaker 4: that's what he wants. He wants to buy a lawnmower
- 18:56Speaker 4: so he can start his own lawnmower business.
- 18:59Speaker 11: I'm not improving anything.
- 19:01Speaker 4: Trust me.
- 19:03Speaker 11: What was his slogan?
- 19:06Speaker 4: You grow it, I'll cut it. That's the stupidest damn thing.
- 19:09Speaker 4: That doesn't even fucking rhyme. I would have at least
- 19:12Speaker 4: enjoyed you grow it, I'll mow it. Because at least
- 19:14Speaker 4: that fucking rhymes. But you grow it and I'll cut it.
- 19:16Speaker 4: That's just fucking stupid.
- 19:18Speaker 11: That's kind of awesome when you pour them.
- 19:22Speaker 4: But you never mow another man's lawn.
- 19:23Speaker 11: See, that's what I was thinking. I don't know what
- 19:25Speaker 11: he's supposed to do because you never mow another man's lawn.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Unless they really want you to.
- 19:28Speaker 11: Unless they pay you to. I guess you're getting paid.
- 19:32Speaker 11: You're a professional.
- 19:33Speaker 4: I just randomly come by somebody's yard.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Actually, you know what?
- 19:37Speaker 4: I really would not mind if somebody just randomly come
- 19:39Speaker 4: by our yard as long as we didn't get paid
- 19:41Speaker 4: for it.
- 19:41Speaker 5: Alright.
- 19:43Speaker 11: Are you getting all fired up for the convention?
- 19:46Speaker 12: I am.
- 19:46Speaker 4: I'm a little excited.
- 19:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:50Speaker 4: Excited about Noah Hathaway. That's my main excitement right there.
- 19:53Speaker 11: That's the reason for our pilgrimage.
- 19:55Speaker 4: For me, pretty much.
- 19:56Speaker 11: That's it.
- 19:57Speaker 4: Aside from it's fun to go, but Noah Hathaway was
- 19:59Speaker 4: definitely the pushbacker for me.
- 20:01Speaker 11: Road trip to a train.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Hell yeah.
- 20:04Speaker 11: It is pretty awesome.
- 20:06Speaker 4: I watched that movie last night, too. Should we talk
- 20:07Speaker 4: about that, how awesome it is?
- 20:09Speaker 11: Might as well. I don't know that we're going to
- 20:10Speaker 11: devote the whole thing to it. So, yeah, let's get
- 20:13Speaker 11: our fix on it.
- 20:14Speaker 4: It's been a couple years since I've watched The NeverEnding Story,
- 20:18Speaker 4: and it's still just as awesome as it was when
- 20:20Speaker 4: I was a kid. Some movies, they lose it, and
- 20:21Speaker 4: you're like, oh, I'm afraid Maggie Mae's going to do it.
- 20:24Speaker 4: But The NeverEnding Story, actually, they put it in the
- 20:27Speaker 4: same category as What the Hook.
- 20:29Speaker 11: No, they shouldn't.
- 20:29Speaker 4: The NeverEnding Story is just so awesome. I'm surprised they
- 20:33Speaker 4: haven't tried to remake it yet.
- 20:34Speaker 11: I'll give it time.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:40Speaker 11: I don't know, there's so many other ones of that
- 20:42Speaker 11: level that I know were already in the works when
- 20:45Speaker 11: we were following through, but that one I don't remember an.
- 20:48Speaker 4: Official version, but I don't know. And I never stop
- 20:55Speaker 4: being annoyed by Bastion.
- 20:57Speaker 11: He is a dork.
- 20:59Speaker 4: Yeah, and it's just, he's obnoxious, and he's kind of
- 21:01Speaker 4: a little bitch, you know?
- 21:03Speaker 11: Yeah, I don't know about Bastion.
- 21:04Speaker 4: Come on, read the book.
- 21:05Speaker 22: Oh, yeah.
- 21:07Speaker 11: Still one of the reasons why I still can't watch
- 21:08Speaker 11: that movie. He screams too much.
- 21:11Speaker 18: Pisses me off. I can hear him yelling in the
- 21:14Speaker 18: other room. I was like, I'm not watching this movie.
- 21:20Speaker 18: He does scream a lot for a little kid, not
- 21:22Speaker 18: really doing anything that will move him.
- 21:23Speaker 4: But there was a big turtle!
- 21:25Speaker 11: He's reading a fucking book. Who gets scared of a
- 21:28Speaker 11: turtle in a fucking book?
- 21:31Speaker 4: Have you seen Oscar? If there was, like, a 900-foot
- 21:35Speaker 4: Oscar coming after you, wouldn't you be mad? Kind of,
- 21:38Speaker 4: you know, scared? Yeah, I heard. You know, he'd eat you.
- 21:41Speaker 4: He tries to eat my fingers.
- 21:42Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 21:46Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 21:49Speaker 11: Whatever.
- 21:50Speaker 4: But yeah, I grew up with Never Ending Story. That's
- 21:53Speaker 4: one of my favorite movies of all time. I love
- 21:54Speaker 4: that movie.
- 21:56Speaker 11: I can't argue. I mean, for a kid's movie, it's
- 21:59Speaker 11: amazing how well put together that is. And the fact
- 22:02Speaker 11: that they gave it to an amazing director, even at
- 22:05Speaker 11: the time. I mean, it's weird how it's become this
- 22:10Speaker 11: little kid's favorite movie, but it's also kind of well
- 22:14Speaker 11: put together.
- 22:16Speaker 4: I've heard the writer of the book, the guy who
- 22:18Speaker 4: wrote the book, fucking hated the movie so bad that
- 22:20Speaker 4: he demanded they remove his name from it.
- 22:23Speaker 12: Jesus.
- 22:24Speaker 4: Which, I mean, I don't understand, dude. I mean, the
- 22:26Speaker 4: movie's way fucking better than your book was.
- 22:29Speaker 11: Yeah, you have read the book. That's why.
- 22:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I read the book. It's kind of long, and
- 22:36Speaker 4: the second part really sucks.
- 22:38Speaker 11: The second part, which has nothing to do with the movie.
- 22:41Speaker 4: Well, no, because the movie ends halfway through the book.
- 22:45Speaker 4: And the second half of the book is just Bastion
- 22:47Speaker 4: making all his wishes, rebuilding Fantasia, and just generally being
- 22:50Speaker 4: a douchebag.
- 22:52Speaker 11: I can't imagine the Fantastica.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Only the book is Fantastica or whatever, but in the
- 22:56Speaker 4: movie it's Fantasia.
- 22:58Speaker 18: Because Fantasia sounds better than Fantastica, which is why you got.
- 23:01Speaker 19: This job, probably.
- 23:02Speaker 18: You came up with a better name, better title, which
- 23:06Speaker 18: other shit?
- 23:07Speaker 4: I'm still, I usually find myself annoyed at the same
- 23:09Speaker 4: part of the movie. I hate the end part of
- 23:11Speaker 4: the movie where Bastion's all, like, riding the luck dragon
- 23:15Speaker 4: and chasing the bullies under the garbage can. I'm like, dude, seriously,
- 23:17Speaker 4: these fuckers have bullied you and picked on you and
- 23:21Speaker 4: generally just tormented your ass for how long? And that's
- 23:24Speaker 4: all you're gonna fucking do. You got a fucking luck dragon.
- 23:26Speaker 4: You're gonna chase him under a garbage can.
- 23:28Speaker 18: Ugh.
- 23:29Speaker 4: Luck Dragon would be getting some little kid snacks. I'll
- 23:31Speaker 4: tell you. The whole fucker would be getting eaten by
- 23:33Speaker 4: a damn Luck Dragon if it was me. I would
- 23:35Speaker 4: know this.
- 23:36Speaker 11: Oh my god, I'm getting some new garbage.
- 23:37Speaker 4: No, that's fucking retarded. Eat the little bastards.
- 23:40Speaker 11: Just slam them into a wall.
- 23:43Speaker 4: Maybe whatever works for me. I want a Luck Dragon though.
- 23:47Speaker 4: Luck Dragons are awesome.
- 23:48Speaker 11: He looks pretty handy. I could make use of one
- 23:51Speaker 11: of those.
- 23:51Speaker 4: Every time I watch... I mean, the Gmork is still
- 23:53Speaker 4: fucking frightening.
- 23:55Speaker 12: The what?
- 23:55Speaker 4: The Gamora. Oh.
- 23:56Speaker 11: You didn't see the Gamora. I didn't see that.
- 24:00Speaker 4: It's like a big, huge wolf.
- 24:02Speaker 11: I don't know. No, it is. I thought they called
- 24:04Speaker 11: him some other name.
- 24:06Speaker 4: He was working with the... I don't know if he
- 24:08Speaker 4: was working.
- 24:08Speaker 11: He kind of worked in... Oh, the Nothing.
- 24:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:10Speaker 4: He wasn't the Nothing at all.
- 24:11Speaker 11: He was the agent of the Nothing. Okay.
- 24:13Speaker 4: He was the one who was sent to stop Atreyu
- 24:15Speaker 4: from stopping the Nothing.
- 24:17Speaker 12: Okay.
- 24:18Speaker 11: He is badass. Like, that was, like, my favorite part,
- 24:20Speaker 11: even as a kid. Again, the weird, creepy kid that
- 24:24Speaker 11: I was. I was just like that.
- 24:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:26Speaker 11: He was awesome.
- 24:27Speaker 4: The only thing bad about it is kind of distracting
- 24:29Speaker 4: how bad the puppeteering is in Frozen War. Because it's
- 24:33Speaker 4: like a hand puppet or something.
- 24:35Speaker 11: Again, this was a pretty modest budget in, like, what,
- 24:38Speaker 11: 82 or something? It was a long time ago. 84
- 24:42Speaker 11: or something like that, so.
- 24:45Speaker 11: I don't think they had hints in money, so it
- 24:47Speaker 11: was hard for it to be quite up to those standards,
- 24:49Speaker 11: but he's still awesome.
- 24:52Speaker 23: Yeah.
- 24:53Speaker 11: Are you familiar with that movie?
- 24:56Speaker 4: I've seen it.
- 24:58Speaker 5: I've seen it.
- 24:58Speaker 4: I read a survey. It was probably about ten years ago, so.
- 25:02Speaker 11: So you have a perfect recollection.
- 25:04Speaker 5: Oh, absolutely.
- 25:06Speaker 4: A perfect recollection.
- 25:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:08Speaker 11: Okay, sometimes the most interesting part of it is what
- 25:11Speaker 11: stuck with you. Even though the rest of it's fallen away,
- 25:13Speaker 11: what is what stuck with you this far in?
- 25:16Speaker 4: Um, the creepy way that Bathory used to say, I
- 25:20Speaker 4: like children.
- 25:21Speaker 18: I heard that from the other room, and I was like,
- 25:26Speaker 18: I don't even know what I was doing, but I
- 25:28Speaker 18: was online, and I heard, I like children.
- 25:30Speaker 11: I was like, you would, you fucking perv. Sometimes you
- 25:34Speaker 11: read it very differently as a grown-up.
- 25:36Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 25:37Speaker 11: Or as close as we get.
- 25:39Speaker 4: Oh.
- 25:40Speaker 11: So I like children. That's what you've taken from me.
- 25:42Speaker 14: That stuck in my mind, how deeply creepy that was.
- 25:46Speaker 5: That was creepy.
- 25:50Speaker 19: I don't know.
- 25:50Speaker 11: The other one is I try to work in the
- 25:52Speaker 11: term rock biter as often as possible.
- 25:55Speaker 4: While watching the movie, I realized the rock biter reminds
- 25:58Speaker 4: me of your friend Dave.
- 26:00Speaker 5: Who?
- 26:00Speaker 4: Your friend Dave.
- 26:02Speaker 5: Dave?
- 26:02Speaker 11: Which Dave? Homebar Dave. Big hands. Homebar Dave?
- 26:05Speaker 2: He's a fucking giant.
- 26:07Speaker 11: He is.
- 26:07Speaker 4: And he has these big hands. They'd be good, strong hands.
- 26:12Speaker 18: This guy's hands are so big he could probably pick
- 26:15Speaker 18: you up by your head.
- 26:17Speaker 11: He's a pretty big guy.
- 26:18Speaker 4: And then eat you like a rock.
- 26:19Speaker 19: Probably.
- 26:21Speaker 17: But he had his wife's itty bitty.
- 26:23Speaker 11: She's only like five foot. Rock biter. Just an awesome turn.
- 26:29Speaker 11: Any other favorite ones?
- 26:31Speaker 4: How did I get that guy?
- 26:32Speaker 11: Any that didn't actually scar you that were good moments?
- 26:35Speaker 5: Um, I don't know.
- 26:37Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 26:39Speaker 14: Honestly, half the time when I think about a never-ending story,
- 26:42Speaker 14: I have a tattoo of a dragon on my thigh,
- 26:44Speaker 14: and it's this really angry-looking Chinese dragon, and a little
- 26:47Speaker 14: kid saw it once and was like, oh, look, it's Falkor.
- 26:50Speaker 14: I'm like, oh, you ruined my tattoo for me forever.
- 26:53Speaker 11: Thanks, little kid.
- 26:54Speaker 12: Whatever.
- 26:54Speaker 11: Adjust it. Luck dragon. That would be awesome. Luck dragon.
- 27:01Speaker 11: I think when you go to these kind of places,
- 27:03Speaker 11: if you had a luck dragon on you, how fucking
- 27:05Speaker 11: cool you would be.
- 27:07Speaker 4: You know, I'm not sure if I want to be
- 27:08Speaker 4: that type of cool, actually.
- 27:10Speaker 5: Fine.
- 27:12Speaker 11: It's a very fine line, actually.
- 27:14Speaker 4: It really is.
- 27:16Speaker 11: The kind of person who gets a dragon, the kind
- 27:18Speaker 11: of person who gets a luck dragon.
- 27:19Speaker 22: Really?
- 27:20Speaker 11: It's a fine line. Anything else we need before we
- 27:25Speaker 11: get into the middle of this convention action?
- 27:27Speaker 4: I can't think of anything.
- 27:31Speaker 5: How about you? Yeah.
- 27:34Speaker 11: Are you anticipating the fun and excitement of this Comic-Con?
- 27:38Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 27:40Speaker 4: I'm sure there will be lots of fun and excitement.
- 27:42Speaker 11: You haven't seen this version of it before.
- 27:44Speaker 4: No, I haven't, so it'll be new and interesting.
- 27:47Speaker 11: And overwhelming and giant.
- 27:49Speaker 4: Last year Marlena had to leave after like five minutes.
- 27:52Speaker 4: She was like overwhelmed with the... Yeah, Comic-Con's probably the only.
- 27:56Speaker 18: large gathering of people that I could be around without
- 27:59Speaker 18: wanting to murder everybody.
- 28:00Speaker 11: Because they're such dorks you just kind of feel mad for.
- 28:03Speaker 18: Well, I mean, everybody's so nice, so, I mean, it's
- 28:06Speaker 18: kind of cool, and there's people in costume, which always
- 28:09Speaker 18: brightens my day.
- 28:11Speaker 11: They're entertaining.
- 28:13Speaker 4: You know?
- 28:14Speaker 11: It's too much entertainment.
- 28:15Speaker 5: You know, it's.
- 28:16Speaker 18: Different than the flea market, you know? Flea market, y'all
- 28:21Speaker 18: got all kinds of nutbags out there.
- 28:25Speaker 11: Oh, yes, it's definitely a very different crowd. All right,
- 28:29Speaker 11: I guess we will take a break and head back,
- 28:31Speaker 11: probably once we're in the midst of the craziness of Commodore.
- 28:35Speaker 19: Thank you.
- 28:56Speaker 5: I have found a sea.
- 29:39Speaker 24: Two minutes.
- 29:40Speaker 6: To go to the snack bar for a quick refresher
- 29:42Speaker 6: before showtime. No crowds to bark, just go get it.
- 29:46Speaker 25: You'll be sorry you.
- 29:47Speaker 6: Missed your chance to enjoy some of the many tempting

- 30:59Speaker 10: A Treyu!
- 31:01Speaker 5: Go! Go!
- 31:15Speaker 26: So now we come to basically the pinnacle of this episode,
- 31:18Speaker 26: the man who ties it all together, Mr. Noah Hathaway,
- 31:22Speaker 26: star of Battlestar Galactica, this week's featured troll, and the
- 31:25Speaker 26: classic The NeverEnding Story.
- 31:28Speaker 27: All right, so we're here with Noah. So you started
- 31:31Speaker 27: pretty early on in acting. Was it three years old?
- 31:36Speaker 24: I think I was four, but, you know, it was
- 31:38Speaker 24: counting at that point. Yeah, it's been a long time.
- 31:42Speaker 2: That's for sure.
- 31:43Speaker 11: Was it something, I mean, at that point you don't
- 31:45Speaker 11: have much of an option, but I guess as you
- 31:46Speaker 11: got older, was it something.
- 31:47Speaker 27: You were really interested in, or it just became a job?
- 31:50Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 31:51Speaker 24: I loved it for a long time. I worked nonstop
- 31:55Speaker 24: from four to.
- 31:57Speaker 2: My early 20s, and then I just needed a break.
- 32:00Speaker 24: I needed to get out of Dodge for a little
- 32:02Speaker 24: while and, you know, do some other stuff.
- 32:05Speaker 2: But it was definitely fun for a long time.
- 32:07Speaker 24: And, you know, it took 15 years off, and now
- 32:09Speaker 24: I'm back making movies again.
- 32:11Speaker 3: Very cool.
- 32:11Speaker 5: I'm stoked.
- 32:12Speaker 27: I was going to say, I mean, never a new story.
- 32:14Speaker 27: You still get a lot of that.
- 32:16Speaker 11: Absolutely.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Did you know.
- 32:18Speaker 11: how big a deal it was at the time just
- 32:20Speaker 11: from from I guess both like an artistic aspect.
- 32:24Speaker 24: Or well I we knew it was it was going
- 32:27Speaker 24: to be a special movie you know especially after reading
- 32:30Speaker 24: the book and seeing what they had done we're going
- 32:32Speaker 24: to do with it uh I didn't know that it
- 32:35Speaker 24: was going to last this long you know but it's
- 32:38Speaker 24: people it's got a real special place people's hearts you
- 32:41Speaker 24: know it really is one of those movies and it
- 32:43Speaker 24: stands up today you know it really does Yeah, it.
- 32:46Speaker 27: Became sort of memorable as time's gone on, and I
- 32:49Speaker 27: guess Atreyu became sort of iconic. Were you prepared for that?
- 32:53Speaker 2: I don't think you ever really are prepared for it.
- 32:55Speaker 2: I know I have.
- 32:56Speaker 24: People say that I'm a legend and an icon, and
- 32:58Speaker 24: that just makes me feel old.
- 33:01Speaker 2: But, you know, I'm fine with it. It could be
- 33:04Speaker 2: a lot worse.
- 33:05Speaker 20: Definitely.
- 33:06Speaker 24: I could be a ditch digger somewhere or something else.
- 33:08Speaker 24: It's not too bad.
- 33:12Speaker 11: And then working with Wolfgang Peterson, that... first English language
- 33:16Speaker 11: movie what was he like as a director.
- 33:18Speaker 2: He's a brilliant director he's just very meticulous.
- 33:20Speaker 24: You know very he knows what he wanted knows how
- 33:26Speaker 24: he wanted to see it and doesn't matter how many
- 33:29Speaker 24: takes until he gets it we get it you know
- 33:31Speaker 24: what I mean it was one of those yeah 50
- 33:33Speaker 24: takes sometimes.
- 33:34Speaker 27: Yeah Was it hard working with all the... I mean,
- 33:37Speaker 27: you had a lot of puppets and costumes and.
- 33:39Speaker 24: I love all the... I love the animatronics. I wish
- 33:42Speaker 24: they had more of it in movies now. All that
- 33:44Speaker 24: was a hell of a lot of fun. You know,
- 33:46Speaker 24: I mean, it was a very rigorous physical movie for,
- 33:49Speaker 24: you know, a 12- and 13-year-old.
- 33:51Speaker 2: So I got hurt a lot, but it was still fun.
- 33:54Speaker 20: Still fun.
- 33:55Speaker 27: The kind of stuff that was okay, or they didn't
- 33:57Speaker 27: mention that you were getting injured?
- 33:59Speaker 24: Yeah, exactly. I don't think anybody knew. It was supposed
- 34:03Speaker 24: to be a three-month shoot. It turned into nine and
- 34:05Speaker 24: a half, ten months. So I don't think anybody knew
- 34:08Speaker 24: what they were getting into until we were really into it.
- 34:11Speaker 4: Wow.
- 34:11Speaker 11: And then I have to ask, the scene with you
- 34:15Speaker 11: and the horse, how was that shooting it for a kid?
- 34:21Speaker 2: It was rough. It was very emotional. I mean, I
- 34:24Speaker 2: love animals anyways. I'm a huge animal fanatic. And so
- 34:28Speaker 2: just to.
- 34:29Speaker 24: be present there while they were doing it it's a
- 34:32Speaker 24: hard scene you know it's a gut wrenching scene it
- 34:34Speaker 24: was hard watching.
- 34:35Speaker 11: I think that was one of those that really caught
- 34:37Speaker 11: you off guard for a quote unquote kids movie that
- 34:39Speaker 11: it was not full enough.
- 34:41Speaker 24: Even acting in that scene it was it was real
- 34:44Speaker 24: hard it was just gut wrenching I don't watch that
- 34:47Speaker 24: scene I fast forward it if I see them you
- 34:49Speaker 24: know if I have to sit through it click goes
- 34:52Speaker 24: right past it it's hard to watch yeah and then
- 34:55Speaker 24: I just finished a movie called Sushi Girl yeah Which,
- 35:00Speaker 24: that's got a crazy cast. Mark Hamill and Tony Todd
- 35:04Speaker 24: and Jeff Fahey and Michael Biehn.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Good lord. So, we're excited about that.
- 35:11Speaker 11: And then I was going to have you work in stuff.
- 35:13Speaker 11: You've got the new ones. Are there any other projects
- 35:16Speaker 11: you want to tell people about?
- 35:17Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I did a movie called The Critic.
- 35:19Speaker 2: It was a little arthouse movie.
- 35:21Speaker 24: But what we're really proud of is Sushi Girl. We're
- 35:24Speaker 24: really excited. We're looking at a theatrical release sometime at
- 35:27Speaker 24: the beginning of the year. And, I mean, with the
- 35:29Speaker 24: cast that we have, you know, I don't know how
- 35:32Speaker 24: it could go wrong.
- 35:33Speaker 2: It looks really good, too.
- 35:34Speaker 27: I saw the trailer hit recently.
- 35:36Speaker 2: It looked cool, huh?
- 35:37Speaker 11: Yeah, it looks good.
- 35:38Speaker 5: Nice, nice.
- 35:38Speaker 2: I'm glad you liked it.
- 35:40Speaker 11: Did you want people.
- 35:41Speaker 5: I know you.
- 35:42Speaker 11: had a website or did you want people to find
- 35:44Speaker 11: you online anywhere or i.
- 35:46Speaker 24: Have a facebook page no halfway i try to answer
- 35:49Speaker 24: everybody it just got hacked so i had to start
- 35:51Speaker 24: a new one i noticed it disappeared i didn't yeah
- 35:53Speaker 24: someone hacked me and and uh i lost everything i
- 35:57Speaker 24: had a bunch of pictures that i didn't like i
- 35:59Speaker 24: hadn't saved on my computer which kind.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Of bummed me out but uh what are you gonna
- 36:03Speaker 2: do yeah i try to talk to everybody Very cool.
- 36:06Speaker 6: Very cool.
- 36:06Speaker 3: We'll send people there.
- 36:08Speaker 5: All right.
- 36:08Speaker 27: Anything else you want to.
- 36:09Speaker 5: No.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Very good.
- 36:10Speaker 11: Very good.
- 36:11Speaker 27: Thank you very much.
- 36:12Speaker 6: Yeah, absolutely.
- 36:12Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 36:34Speaker 28: So when I'm afraid of what's to come, I hit.
- 36:37Speaker 7: The ground and run.
- 36:38Speaker 28: Not sure what's coming next and never looking back.
- 36:44Speaker 5: Hollow nights and empty days.
- 36:45Speaker 19: Something had to change before it gets too late.
- 36:48Speaker 29: And there's no turning back.
- 36:50Speaker 28: One by one we've been and there we fall.

- 38:02Speaker 19: You're a dragon.

- 38:07Speaker 28: Friday night, I'm flying late.

- 38:19Speaker 28: And on a quest to Luck Dragon, it's the only way.
- 38:48Speaker 3: Alright, we're at Super Dogs. What's your take on it?
- 38:52Speaker 4: I got a cookie.
- 38:53Speaker 7: It's delicious.
- 38:54Speaker 3: That was dessert. You're not ruining your supper. You finished
- 38:57Speaker 3: your supper.
- 38:58Speaker 11: No, I didn't.
- 39:00Speaker 3: As much as you were going to, you finished your supper.
- 39:02Speaker 22: I finished it.
- 39:04Speaker 29: I finished my burger.
- 39:05Speaker 4: He ate my burger.
- 39:05Speaker 27: Oh, sorry, my bad.
- 39:07Speaker 4: I forgot a cookie though.
- 39:10Speaker 29: It's soft and delicious.
- 39:12Speaker 11: I'm enjoying a fine super malt.
- 39:14Speaker 3: Or no, super shake.
- 39:17Speaker 7: Sadistic bastard mess with you.
- 39:18Speaker 11: What about you?
- 39:20Speaker 19: I'm going to go take a super piss.
- 39:24Speaker 11: Yeah, I think he's annoyed that I keep putting super
- 39:27Speaker 11: in front of everything every time I order it.
- 39:30Speaker 3: I'm just like, I want a super shake. And he's
- 39:31Speaker 3: just like, shake.
- 39:33Speaker 11: All right, here.
- 39:34Speaker 23: He's like, burger.
- 39:35Speaker 3: Here you go. I'm like, no, I want a super burger.
- 39:38Speaker 3: He's like, leave me alone.
- 39:39Speaker 7: Mine's a super chocolate chip cookie.
- 39:42Speaker 3: I do like the fact that they put super in
- 39:44Speaker 3: front of it.
- 39:45Speaker 7: They got super veggies.
- 39:47Speaker 5: A big box of.
- 39:49Speaker 12: The mixed.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Is that even a word?
- 39:51Speaker 4: I can't read from here.
- 39:52Speaker 5: The mixed?
- 39:53Speaker 3: Is that a word? The mixed, sure.
- 39:55Speaker 7: The mixed battered veggies.
- 39:58Speaker 3: It's as much a word as the, uh... Happify. I mean,
- 40:01Speaker 3: it's as much a word as happify. Like, the chili's
- 40:04Speaker 3: gonna do to you.
- 40:05Speaker 4: Party. All beef chili will happify your tummy with its
- 40:09Speaker 4: zesty taste.
- 40:10Speaker 7: I'm so tired, I can't read a sign from here hardly.
- 40:13Speaker 3: Happify is totally a word.
- 40:15Speaker 7: But yeah, what.
- 40:19Speaker 3: Does it say on the sign about my shake?
- 40:25Speaker 7: I'm gonna read.
- 40:26Speaker 14: It from here again.
- 40:28Speaker 4: A full pint of smooth, creamy refreshment.
- 40:30Speaker 7: So thick we put straws in them.
- 40:33Speaker 29: Only to prove that you can't draw them through.
- 40:36Speaker 4: We will gladly thin them down if you prefer it
- 40:38Speaker 4: that way.
- 40:40Speaker 11: And yet, I ordered mine and he slapped a straw
- 40:43Speaker 11: on top of it, which my response was, that's a
- 40:45Speaker 11: mystic bastard.
- 40:47Speaker 4: And you still managed to suck hard enough to get
- 40:48Speaker 4: it through the straw.
- 40:49Speaker 3: I do suck a lot, yeah.
- 40:52Speaker 11: As our reviews have proven.
- 40:54Speaker 14: Yep.
- 40:54Speaker 4: Yep, yep.
- 40:56Speaker 2: That's a damn good cookie. And a damn good chocolate shake.
- 41:03Speaker 3: It is a damn good chocolate shake, thank you.
- 41:05Speaker 2: What about Bella's?
- 41:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I was thinking that as I got.
- 41:08Speaker 5: It, actually. I don't know who brought that up lately.
- 41:11Speaker 11: Somebody was telling me that it's funny how much that
- 41:14Speaker 11: scene kind of doesn't play now in Pulp Fiction because
- 41:17Speaker 11: they're like $ 5 shakes, so... He makes such a big
- 41:21Speaker 11: deal out of it, like it's ridiculous that it's $ 5.
- 41:24Speaker 3: I'm like, I just bought a $ 5 shake.
- 41:25Speaker 19: I was thinking right there.
- 41:27Speaker 1: That $ 4.
- 41:30Speaker 5: A little lower.
- 41:31Speaker 11: Tax and all, it was pretty damn close to a
- 41:33Speaker 11: $ 5 shake.
- 41:35Speaker 3: How many years ago was that, though?
- 41:36Speaker 4: About 20.
- 41:38Speaker 5: Oh, it wasn't 20 years ago.
- 41:41Speaker 7: They're about to figure it to come out in 93, 94.
- 41:42Speaker 1: 94.
- 41:42Speaker 4: 94.
- 41:42Speaker 2: Christ, I don't know.
- 41:44Speaker 5: But still, even then I remember, I don't know.
- 41:53Speaker 19: Yeah, I guess that would have been pretty expensive.
- 41:55Speaker 5: How many years ago?
- 41:57Speaker 3: That's depressing.
- 41:58Speaker 29: That was 10.
- 42:00Speaker 3: And you were enjoying chocolate shakes every day.
- 42:03Speaker 12: This is a.
- 42:03Speaker 11: Damn good picture. I went through that fucker.
- 42:07Speaker 7: Put a hurtin' on that bitch.
- 42:08Speaker 29: Hot damn.
- 42:13Speaker 7: Oh, could be followed by root beer.
- 42:14Speaker 29: That's delicious.
- 42:17Speaker 3: It's your personal recommendation.
- 42:19Speaker 30: Fuck.
- 42:23Speaker 4: Noah Hathaway winked at me.
- 42:24Speaker 7: And it didn't creep me out. And he winked at
- 42:27Speaker 7: me like.
- 42:28Speaker 4: Four or five times.
- 42:29Speaker 7: I was beginning to think he just said a twitch.
- 42:34Speaker 7: But it was a cute glitch, so it's okay.
- 42:36Speaker 11: The one that I saw was, well, probably disturbing for
- 42:39Speaker 11: the person it was directed at, who is Luke right now.
- 42:43Speaker 26: And it was the guy taking the picture for it.
- 42:47Speaker 11: It was a guy taking a picture of him and
- 42:49Speaker 11: another guy, and when they were done, he immediately winked
- 42:52Speaker 11: at the guy who took the picture.
- 42:54Speaker 3: I'm like, well... That's cool.
- 42:55Speaker 7: He is the Hulk, for fuck's sakes.
- 42:56Speaker 3: He can do whatever he wants.
- 42:57Speaker 5: I like him because I agree.
- 43:04Speaker 3: Damn straight. But you better like when he winks at you, motherfucker.
- 43:07Speaker 1: But yeah, I know I have him when he winks
- 43:09Speaker 1: at me most of the time.
- 43:10Speaker 4: He was the sweetest damn guy.
- 43:12Speaker 3: He is ridiculously nice.
- 43:14Speaker 4: Jay talked to him about tattoos.
- 43:16Speaker 19: For a little bit.
- 43:18Speaker 4: And about troll too.
- 43:21Speaker 3: He did not acclaim that one at all, did he?
- 43:23Speaker 12: No.
- 43:25Speaker 7: Yeah, he talked about Troll for a minute.
- 43:28Speaker 19: He said Troll was pretty fun to work on.
- 43:31Speaker 3: Oh, we'll get to that.
- 43:33Speaker 19: Yeah, yeah.
- 43:35Speaker 7: One of the pictures said, is that from Troll? And
- 43:39Speaker 7: he was like, yeah.
- 43:40Speaker 19: It's odd because it didn't look like the Troll in Troll.
- 43:43Speaker 2: It's still a Troll.
- 43:44Speaker 3: It's still a Troll, but it didn't look like.
- 43:46Speaker 2: The main Troll.
- 43:47Speaker 7: That Troll was off that day.
- 43:49Speaker 3: I guess.
- 43:50Speaker 7: It was still in Troll.
- 43:51Speaker 19: He called it sick.
- 43:53Speaker 5: Back of Troll.
- 43:53Speaker 12: Back of Troll.
- 43:55Speaker 7: It was Xander's brother.
- 44:00Speaker 3: That would make sense if you knew Xander's brother was
- 44:02Speaker 3: here today.
- 44:04Speaker 5: Where was he?
- 44:05Speaker 19: I don't know.
- 44:06Speaker 11: I barely found him.
- 44:07Speaker 4: I didn't even see Xander.
- 44:09Speaker 3: I saw Xander.
- 44:10Speaker 19: I didn't see his booth.
- 44:11Speaker 4: I didn't see Xander.
- 44:12Speaker 5: I saw.
- 44:12Speaker 19: No, wait.
- 44:13Speaker 5: I saw Xander's booth.
- 44:14Speaker 19: I didn't see Xander's brother's booth.
- 44:16Speaker 3: Julie Benz walked right past me.
- 44:17Speaker 11: I saw Julie Benz.
- 44:18Speaker 3: It was pretty exciting.
- 44:19Speaker 7: I saw Charisma Carpenter.
- 44:21Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 44:22Speaker 4: She was tiny.
- 44:24Speaker 7: She looks pretty from.
- 44:27Speaker 3: What I saw.
- 44:27Speaker 4: She is pretty.
- 44:28Speaker 26: She kind of is.
- 44:29Speaker 4: She looks taller on TV.
- 44:32Speaker 19: Everybody looks taller on TV. Come on, Danny Trejo looks
- 44:35Speaker 19: like a giant on TV.
- 44:36Speaker 3: Yeah, but they purposely shoot it that way for you.
- 44:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 44:39Speaker 2: He has to stand on a box.
- 44:41Speaker 7: Everybody has to walk on a trench.
- 44:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I know I had to.
- 44:44Speaker 7: I was a tiny little man.
- 44:46Speaker 4: Petite.
- 44:46Speaker 7: I wanted to carry him around in my pocket.
- 44:49Speaker 4: And.
- 44:49Speaker 7: He's been awesome.
- 44:51Speaker 29: And.
- 44:52Speaker 7: Was there anything else?
- 44:54Speaker 17: I yelled at a guy.
- 44:55Speaker 3: I think I was witness to that one.
- 44:59Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 45:00Speaker 4: When he bumped into you this morning?
- 45:01Speaker 2: Yeah, dude. He just started backing up.
- 45:03Speaker 19: And I strong-armed him in the back.
- 45:06Speaker 7: I yelled, too.
- 45:07Speaker 1: I forget what I said, but I'm sure it was
- 45:09Speaker 1: laced with profanities.
- 45:10Speaker 3: You, I can't imagine.
- 45:12Speaker 19: And you were like, watch where you're fucking going.
- 45:16Speaker 7: Because he was right... His ear was almost at mouth
- 45:18Speaker 7: level at that point. He was just backing up. So
- 45:20Speaker 7: I was like... He jerked into awareness, and then Jay
- 45:23Speaker 7: came in the back.
- 45:25Speaker 2: Worry about our merry way.
- 45:27Speaker 7: Let's set the mood for the rest of the day,
- 45:28Speaker 7: because I've been in a pissy-ass mood all day.
- 45:32Speaker 3: Yeah, with the exception of Noah Hathaway.
- 45:36Speaker 4: It was just ridiculously crowded.
- 45:38Speaker 7: I don't remember there ever being that many damn people.
- 45:41Speaker 7: Marlena would have had a meltdown.
- 45:42Speaker 3: She wouldn't even be at the damn door.
- 45:43Speaker 19: There's probably twice as many people there this year as
- 45:45Speaker 19: there was last year.
- 45:47Speaker 3: There was a lot of people.
- 45:48Speaker 11: Last year you just had that one front aisle that
- 45:50Speaker 11: was crowded and the back aisle was crowded.
- 45:52Speaker 17: This year it was like every aisle was crowded.
- 45:54Speaker 11: You at least had a little bit of room in
- 45:57Speaker 11: the artist's area because there wasn't a lot of people there.
- 46:00Speaker 3: But this year the artist's area was packed. That's a
- 46:04Speaker 3: lot of people.
- 46:05Speaker 4: No, and they were all stupid.
- 46:07Speaker 29: They don't know how to function in the real world.
- 46:09Speaker 3: They don't know how to.
- 46:10Speaker 7: Survive outside their mom's basement or whatever. But they were
- 46:13Speaker 7: just completely oblivious to the world around them. They were
- 46:16Speaker 7: just stumbling into people. J-Stuck on a kid.
- 46:21Speaker 3: Kid should've moved.
- 46:23Speaker 14: I know one girl who's ridiculously proud of a little
- 46:27Speaker 14: mustache tattoo she.
- 46:28Speaker 4: Had on her index finger.
- 46:29Speaker 7: And she was like showing it off to everyone. Like,
- 46:32Speaker 7: you have been on your body for life. Congratulations.
- 46:35Speaker 1: That one booth is going to make free mustaches. No,
- 46:38Speaker 1: I didn't see the free mustache food. It was free
- 46:41Speaker 1: mustache on like a popsicle stick.
- 46:42Speaker 11: I saw some girl walking around with it the whole time.
- 46:46Speaker 5: I'm so done with that.
- 46:47Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 46:47Speaker 4: I hate mustaches.
- 46:48Speaker 11: Well, just in general. It was barely funny ever, but
- 46:52Speaker 11: like it was five.
- 46:53Speaker 3: Years ago, everybody was doing it. It's so not funny now.
- 46:57Speaker 14: And now a billion people have it tattooed on their
- 46:59Speaker 14: index fingers.
- 47:00Speaker 7: And think that they're so cool.
- 47:01Speaker 3: It's not funny then either.
- 47:04Speaker 5: Just stop. And girls taking pictures with mustaches is just
- 47:08Speaker 5: not funny.
- 47:09Speaker 3: So girls of the internet, every one of your damn
- 47:12Speaker 3: Facebook profiles, just delete it, please. Because it's not funny.
- 47:15Speaker 4: I don't think I have any of those pictures.
- 47:17Speaker 3: I'd call you out if you did. I don't care.
- 47:19Speaker 5: It's over.
- 47:19Speaker 3: Please stop.
- 47:21Speaker 1: I know, because I hate mustaches, so I wouldn't even
- 47:22Speaker 1: pretend to have one. Although I do sometimes pretend to
- 47:25Speaker 1: have a pink mustache. But I don't take pictures of
- 47:28Speaker 1: it or anything.
- 47:28Speaker 7: I kind of want a picture of it, actually.
- 47:31Speaker 4: Then I'll become that person.
- 47:32Speaker 3: Yep, you will then become that person.
- 47:34Speaker 7: If I did it quickly, there was no cameras around.
- 47:37Speaker 11: Your paparazzi wasn't following you.
- 47:40Speaker 1: We saw some, speaking of paparazzi, we saw some.
- 47:43Speaker 4: Lady Gaga look-alikes today.
- 47:46Speaker 7: I called one of them, too, and I thought, dude,
- 47:48Speaker 7: I bet one of those is a dude.
- 47:51Speaker 3: I was pretty sure Lady Gaga was a dude.
- 47:52Speaker 4: One of them was a girl, one of them was
- 47:54Speaker 4: a dude.
- 47:54Speaker 3: But the Lady Gaga went.
- 47:55Speaker 11: Did you say the other one just looked like some
- 47:57Speaker 11: random backup dancer?
- 47:58Speaker 7: I don't think it was Lady Gaga.
- 47:59Speaker 3: They were both Lady Gagas.
- 48:00Speaker 11: They were at the costume.
- 48:02Speaker 3: Well, rightfully so.
- 48:03Speaker 11: The dude knew what he was doing, was decked out,
- 48:05Speaker 11: and looked exactly like Lady Gaga. The girl was.
- 48:08Speaker 7: There was a nerd guy reaction.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Yeah, to the Gaga.
- 48:12Speaker 23: Sucker.
- 48:13Speaker 7: It was a pleased reaction.
- 48:15Speaker 2: I don't think he.
- 48:15Speaker 4: Knew that was.
- 48:16Speaker 11: No, he just kind of took a double take and
- 48:18Speaker 11: was like, yeah.
- 48:20Speaker 3: All right. And that was all of the.
- 48:23Speaker 19: Black leather panties. I couldn't tell what those were.
- 48:26Speaker 7: No, they weren't leather. They were black, but they were more.
- 48:30Speaker 29: Of a polyester blend.
- 48:32Speaker 11: Poly blend.
- 48:34Speaker 3: Poly blend.
- 48:35Speaker 5: The hypoallergenic.
- 48:37Speaker 4: A good stretch.
- 48:37Speaker 11: They may paint your way like a special Gaga edition.
- 48:43Speaker 7: That one superhero that was wearing underpants. That one chick,
- 48:46Speaker 7: she was wearing like Hanes or something. And she was
- 48:50Speaker 7: the one with the blue cape.
- 48:51Speaker 1: But she had like the red bra and the red.
- 48:53Speaker 7: You took her picture.
- 48:54Speaker 22: Did I?
- 48:55Speaker 7: She was like the Asian girl.
- 48:57Speaker 3: Oh yeah, okay.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Is that her title?
- 48:59Speaker 3: The Asian girl.
- 49:01Speaker 7: Her waistband said Hanes. It was like, you're just wearing underpants.
- 49:04Speaker 3: She's the ghetto superhero.
- 49:07Speaker 7: I don't know. It had red flowers on it.
- 49:10Speaker 11: It took way too many pictures.
- 49:11Speaker 9: Yeah, I know.
- 49:13Speaker 7: He killed the battery on his camera. It was fully charged.
- 49:16Speaker 7: He had to commandeer my camera to take pictures.
- 49:20Speaker 3: Sometimes you gotta take pictures of crazy people.
- 49:22Speaker 4: Did anyone figure out what the purple thing was this morning?
- 49:26Speaker 27: I never did.
- 49:27Speaker 7: We were right next to her.
- 49:28Speaker 3: I saw her later.
- 49:29Speaker 29: I think it was Grimace.
- 49:32Speaker 3: She did not look like Grimace. Because I kind of
- 49:34Speaker 3: like Grimace. That was no Grimace.
- 49:36Speaker 7: What did I call her this morning?
- 49:38Speaker 2: Great babe. I'm so nice.
- 49:42Speaker 21: Yes.
- 49:44Speaker 3: I did get to see one of my favorite artists.
- 49:46Speaker 3: I don't know if anybody knows who he is, but.
- 49:49Speaker 5: He was awesome. That's right.
- 49:53Speaker 3: We didn't even know that he was going to be there.
- 49:57Speaker 7: He wasn't on this website?
- 49:59Speaker 8: I think this was a last minute deal for him
- 50:01Speaker 8: because I don't even think he was aware that he
- 50:02Speaker 8: was there. It looked like he pulled out a bunch
- 50:05Speaker 8: of prints out of his trunk.
- 50:07Speaker 5: He didn't want to sell them.
- 50:09Speaker 17: He had an art portfolio there which really was kind
- 50:11Speaker 17: of odd.
- 50:11Speaker 19: It was a portfolio of all original artwork.
- 50:13Speaker 3: That he had done.
- 50:15Speaker 17: All of them priced way expensive, like $ 300, $ 400, $ 900.
- 50:18Speaker 7: Yeah, one of them was like, this is $ 900. I
- 50:21Speaker 7: really don't want to sell this.
- 50:23Speaker 1: That's what it said on the tag. So yeah, he
- 50:29Speaker 1: had like two different prices, and that was it. One
- 50:31Speaker 1: of them was some girl walking downstairs, and then.
- 50:33Speaker 11: One of them was at the crow.
- 50:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:36Speaker 4: So you had to buy one to replace one that
- 50:38Speaker 4: somebody used to.
- 50:39Speaker 7: Work her way.
- 50:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 50:41Speaker 11: Well, I saw Gus Fink, who is one of my favorites,
- 50:44Speaker 11: and it's really twisted, weird stuff, and somehow it speaks
- 50:48Speaker 11: to me very deeply.
- 50:50Speaker 2: What did I buy?
- 50:51Speaker 11: I bought an owl. Why are you looking for an owl?
- 50:55Speaker 7: I was going to take you to your backpack.
- 50:56Speaker 29: I don't know if you want it.
- 50:57Speaker 7: I kind of want to go buy another owl tomorrow,
- 51:00Speaker 7: but I'm.
- 51:00Speaker 2: Not going to be there in time.
- 51:03Speaker 26: The owl is in the hotel room.
- 51:06Speaker 2: It's so cute.
- 51:07Speaker 3: It was pretty cool, I thought.
- 51:08Speaker 1: I might have to get another one, depending on what
- 51:11Speaker 1: time we're here tomorrow.
- 51:13Speaker 2: They open at 10 in the morning.
- 51:15Speaker 12: I think.
- 51:15Speaker 29: Lower is coming down outside.
- 51:18Speaker 5: It's a lot of rain.
- 51:21Speaker 7: We'll park really far away.
- 51:22Speaker 2: Are we ready to go now?
- 51:40Speaker 28: I would shut up if I thought that it mattered.
- 51:48Speaker 31: That's what it feels like.
- 51:53Speaker 28: When you're stitched into this skin. I feel stuck.
- 52:22Speaker 6: One minute left to top off the evening with a
- 52:24Speaker 6: treat from our snack bar still time if you hurry

- 53:07Speaker 4: An experience in shock.
- 53:09Speaker 19: More shattering than your strangest nightmare.
- 53:12Speaker 27: Penetration!
- 53:14Speaker 21: Night of the Living Podcast.
- 53:18Speaker 5: Ass to mouth is fantastic.
- 53:20Speaker 19: Holy shit!
- 53:22Speaker 4: That just happened.
- 53:23Speaker 5: What's that bad man doing to my donkey?
- 53:25Speaker 19: A night of total terror. I can't maintain this level
- 53:30Speaker 19: of ridiculousness.
- 53:31Speaker 3: Maybe it's song.

- 55:12Speaker 5: It's time for Sofa Theater. I'll take care of this.
- 55:19Speaker 4: Why don't you go play with your sister? Oh, Mom,
- 55:21Speaker 4: she's a pain in the ass. Okay, don't play with
- 55:26Speaker 4: your sister.
- 55:26Speaker 7: Just hold it forward, okay? And keep an eye on
- 55:29Speaker 7: your sister.
- 55:30Speaker 5: Yeah, I'd rather watch Star Trek.
- 55:34Speaker 2: Phaser's on dull.
- 55:35Speaker 5: You've been trolled, you've been trolled.
- 55:39Speaker 12: You have probably been told. Don't reply to this guy,
- 55:44Speaker 12: he is just getting a rise.
- 55:46Speaker 5: Out of you.
- 55:47Speaker 12: Yes, it's true, you respond and that's his cue. Two-star
- 55:51Speaker 12: trouble on the double, all these strokes is manly stubble.
- 55:54Speaker 12: You've been trolled, you've been trolled, you should probably just vote.
- 55:58Speaker 12: When the only winning move is not to play and
- 56:02Speaker 12: yet you keep on trying mindlessly replying you've been trolled
- 56:06Speaker 12: you've been trolled have a nice day all.
- 56:09Speaker 5: Right we're back and um misty what are you calling
- 56:11Speaker 5: this i don't forgot the sleepy time session yeah then wait.
- 56:15Speaker 29: A minute The sleepy time session is another meltdown.
- 56:19Speaker 5: We're back at the hotel now. We're all cuddling in
- 56:22Speaker 5: bed with our microphones.
- 56:23Speaker 29: I got my jammies on. They have kittens on them. Well,
- 56:26Speaker 29: the bottom parts do.
- 56:27Speaker 20: We're wearing a shirt that says drop dead and has
- 56:29Speaker 20: a skull on it.
- 56:30Speaker 5: That sounds about right. Yeah.
- 56:32Speaker 29: But I love kittens.
- 56:33Speaker 19: Your kitten pants.
- 56:34Speaker 29: I got my kitten britches on.
- 56:36Speaker 19: Kitten britches.
- 56:37Speaker 29: Kitten britches. I don't know.
- 56:40Speaker 19: What kind of kittens are those?
- 56:42Speaker 29: I think they're tabbies.
- 56:44Speaker 7: They're great.
- 56:45Speaker 8: Well, no, I mean the illustrations are kind of like
- 56:47Speaker 8: if anybody, which you probably don't, but if anybody out
- 56:52Speaker 8: there has ever seen the child craft books, the illustrated
- 56:57Speaker 8: kittens on her pants look like the illustrations out of
- 57:00Speaker 8: child craft.
- 57:02Speaker 29: It has butterflies, too.
- 57:03Speaker 5: Well, that's just crazy.
- 57:06Speaker 19: But they're great. They're kittens, and they're chasing butterflies.
- 57:09Speaker 5: They're chasing butterflies. Okay, that at least makes sense a
- 57:11Speaker 5: little bit, kind of. Just if they were just picking
- 57:14Speaker 5: another random wildlife to put on there.
- 57:16Speaker 8: Yeah, they're... How would you describe those kittens?
- 57:19Speaker 19: They look kind of frisky.
- 57:23Speaker 29: Not ready for bed.
- 57:24Speaker 19: No, not ready for bed at all.
- 57:27Speaker 29: Those kittens, they're not sleepy.
- 57:29Speaker 19: No, they're not sleepy at all.
- 57:32Speaker 23: Wow.
- 57:33Speaker 5: This is definitely a different round of us. Bedtime theater,
- 57:37Speaker 5: which once.
- 57:38Speaker 19: Again, you do that equally as much these days.
- 57:41Speaker 20: So, I'm kind of afraid to fall asleep, though, because
- 57:48Speaker 20: I know Freddy Krueger is probably really close.
- 57:50Speaker 5: To us right now. That's true. And I did run
- 57:52Speaker 5: into Malcolm McDowell downstairs, so he might come tap, tap, tap,
- 57:56Speaker 5: dancing his ass on in here in the middle of
- 57:58Speaker 5: the night.
- 57:58Speaker 20: Him and Freddy Krueger are going to have some kind
- 58:00Speaker 20: of thing going on.
- 58:02Speaker 5: Singing in the rain, start kicking in the ribs. That's
- 58:05Speaker 5: no way to wake up, let me tell you.
- 58:07Speaker 9: No.
- 58:08Speaker 29: You did lock the door, right? Or did I lock
- 58:10Speaker 29: the door?
- 58:10Speaker 19: Yeah, you locked the door.
- 58:13Speaker 29: Not that that would stop Freddy.
- 58:15Speaker 5: That's true. I told you he's kind of, like, oozing
- 58:18Speaker 5: through the wall in a second.
- 58:19Speaker 29: Boyfriend held the elevator door open for Robert.
- 58:23Speaker 4: England earlier today.
- 58:23Speaker 19: It was pretty exciting.
- 58:24Speaker 29: He texted me. I was excited for him.
- 58:27Speaker 19: There wasn't no Corey moment, but.
- 58:30Speaker 29: No Feldman.
- 58:31Speaker 19: No Feldman moment.
- 58:32Speaker 29: You weren't holding the mace at the time?
- 58:34Speaker 19: No, I wasn't.
- 58:35Speaker 5: I don't know why. You should be holding a battle
- 58:37Speaker 5: mace at all times.
- 58:38Speaker 24: Yeah.
- 58:40Speaker 29: I think it's illegal in Chicago.
- 58:42Speaker 5: Probably.
- 58:43Speaker 19: Everything's illegal in Chicago.
- 58:44Speaker 5: Yeah. We just do it underground. There's a special door
- 58:48Speaker 5: somewhere where we keep all the.
- 58:50Speaker 29: A boiler?
- 58:52Speaker 5: The illegal gambling and illegal booze consumption. Maces.
- 59:00Speaker 19: Lame-ass gun laws.
- 59:02Speaker 5: That's another rant. That's a whole different rant. Alright, are
- 59:08Speaker 5: we ready to move into the special bedtime edition of
- 59:11Speaker 5: Sofa Theater?
- 59:12Speaker 22: Sure.
- 59:14Speaker 5: This week's Sofa Theater feature is the classic and mentioned
- 59:20Speaker 5: earlier troll from our pal. What's your pal's name, Misty?
- 59:26Speaker 5: Your favorite bestest friend.
- 59:28Speaker 20: He winked at me multiple times, and not.
- 59:29Speaker 29: At all in a creepy fashion.
- 59:32Speaker 5: Yeah, last time out.
- 59:33Speaker 29: And he scared the bejesus out of me. I forgot
- 59:35Speaker 29: to mention that earlier. He grabbed me and startled me.
- 59:37Speaker 29: Remember when he snuck up behind me and grabbed my shoulder?
- 59:40Speaker 19: Well, it didn't scare me because I had the camera ready.
- 59:44Speaker 29: But I was unprepared. I was unawares.
- 59:46Speaker 19: He had snuck around his table.
- 59:49Speaker 29: Around the transvestite.
- 59:50Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 59:52Speaker 19: It was pretty damn fabulous. I don't remember his name.
- 59:55Speaker 5: I don't know his name. Sorry.
- 59:58Speaker 29: Whatever it's named. Peaches, I don't remember.
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: I think I saw one earlier. It seemed very nice.
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: It was in good spirits the whole time. Hold on.
- 1:00:07Speaker 29: What's the other business card?
- 1:00:17Speaker 19: It's Miss Fousey.
- 1:00:20Speaker 29: Not peaches at all.
- 1:00:21Speaker 19: It's Hello Pineapple, Miss Fousey.
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: Pineapple, peaches.
- 1:00:24Speaker 5: Pineapple, peaches, Miss Fousey.
- 1:00:26Speaker 19: Artist, hostess, and entertainer. Chicago, Illinois.
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: Oh, wow.
- 1:00:30Speaker 19: Miss Fousey at MissFousey.com. Miss Fousey was awesome.
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: Miss Fousey was very happy, I'm telling you.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: Great.
- 1:00:39Speaker 29: I liked her a lot better when I realized she
- 1:00:40Speaker 29: didn't get the last glossy.
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: Picture that I wanted. That would not have been cool. No.
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: Miss Fousey stealing your shit. Which one did she get?
- 1:00:49Speaker 19: She wanted the same one I wanted, but Oh, she
- 1:00:51Speaker 19: didn't get it, did she?
- 1:00:52Speaker 29: No, she did, because they found it was buried in
- 1:00:54Speaker 29: a different stack. And I was like, oh, my God,
- 1:00:55Speaker 29: where did you find that glossy one? She's like, oh,
- 1:00:57Speaker 29: it was hidden. So then I pouted, and then.
- 1:00:59Speaker 19: You got her way.
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: I guess I got my way.
- 1:01:02Speaker 20: No, I had to go through all of his photos
- 1:01:04Speaker 20: looking for a glossy one, because he's so sweet.
- 1:01:07Speaker 8: Because, damn it, I don't know if it was that
- 1:01:09Speaker 8: he was so sweet, or if he was just not
- 1:01:11Speaker 8: going to... Yeah, I wanted you to quit pouting, because
- 1:01:13Speaker 8: you were like, I want a glossy one.
- 1:01:15Speaker 19: And he's like, I don't know if I got any left.
- 1:01:17Speaker 19: And you're like, I don't want one now. And you
- 1:01:19Speaker 19: start stomping the floor.
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: I did not stomp my feet.
- 1:01:22Speaker 19: Shut up. And he was like.
- 1:01:25Speaker 29: We'll probably leave it that he was nice.
- 1:01:27Speaker 19: And he's going to pull one off the wall.
- 1:01:29Speaker 11: Hell yeah.
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: All right. So we'll let him tell his story in
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: a minute. But for the rest of the rundown here.
- 1:01:36Speaker 19: Whose story?
- 1:01:37Speaker 29: Noah Hathaway.
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: Oh.
- 1:01:39Speaker 25: Oh, yeah.
- 1:01:39Speaker 12: Okay.
- 1:01:40Speaker 19: I forgot.
- 1:01:40Speaker 12: Okay.
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: No, the rest of the rundown. The movie, once again,
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: is Troll. The year is 1986. Director John Carl Bolcher,
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: I guess is how you say that. The plot, according
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: to IMDb, a wicked troll king in search of a
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: mystical ring that will return him to his human form
- 1:02:01Speaker 5: invades a San Francisco apartment complex where a powerful witch lives.
- 1:02:05Speaker 29: I call it bullshit, because that is not what the.
- 1:02:07Speaker 19: Movie was about. Yeah, not at all.
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: What are the odds IMDb has a plot that doesn't
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: match up with the movie you just watched?
- 1:02:14Speaker 19: Who writes some of these things on IMDb?
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: Anybody. Yeah. Anonymous, usually.
- 1:02:21Speaker 19: Yeah, I'll write a review.
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: So, I guess before we get to our take, we
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: can let Noah tell his story.
- 1:02:33Speaker 27: And then we're kind of going back over Troll this week, too.
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: What was that one like? Troll was fun. I mean,
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: it was a great cast. You know, they asked me
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: to go and hang.
- 1:02:41Speaker 24: Out in Italy for, I don't know, four months, and.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: The cast was amazing, so I was like, hell yeah, sure,
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: why not?
- 1:02:48Speaker 27: My favorite, you got top billing.
- 1:02:50Speaker 20: Yeah.
- 1:02:50Speaker 27: June Lockhart, Sonny Bono, you're top billing.
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: Yeah, I know.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: That's not too bad. It's not too bad. It's impressive.
- 1:02:56Speaker 27: And then, it's only years later, you were the first
- 1:02:59Speaker 27: Harry Potter?
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Yeah, and Troll, yeah.
- 1:03:04Speaker 27: What a weird coincidence, I guess.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: If you can call it that, I guess. Dealing with
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: magic and creatures. Yeah, I know. It's kind of similar
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: in some ways, isn't it?
- 1:03:16Speaker 27: Oh, and then that's another one.
- 1:03:18Speaker 11: What was the effects with all the... I mean, you
- 1:03:20Speaker 11: did a lot of puppets and stuff on that set.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I love.
- 1:03:24Speaker 24: My sister's been in special effects for 20-something years, so
- 1:03:27Speaker 24: maybe it runs in the family.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: I love all that stuff. You know, it's fun.
- 1:03:30Speaker 24: It gives you something to act off of also instead
- 1:03:33Speaker 24: of just sitting in front of a green screen all day.
- 1:03:36Speaker 27: That was, I mean, yeah, you were sort of the
- 1:03:37Speaker 27: center of that movie, more or less.
- 1:03:39Speaker 11: What was that? I mean, I guess most scenes, a
- 1:03:42Speaker 11: lot of that you're in, was it a harder shoot
- 1:03:43Speaker 11: for you just being on set all the time?
- 1:03:46Speaker 24: No, I mean, that's, you know, Jeff Fahey said something
- 1:03:50Speaker 24: really cool to me. We just did this film together,
- 1:03:52Speaker 24: and he said, you know, you get paid to sit
- 1:03:55Speaker 24: around on set and do nothing and.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: You work for free. You know, you act for free.
- 1:04:02Speaker 24: So that's all part of the, you know, it's all
- 1:04:04Speaker 24: part of the gig is to sit around and be
- 1:04:06Speaker 24: on set all day long. So, you know, I mean,
- 1:04:08Speaker 24: like I said, it could be a lot worse.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: I'm not, I will not complain.
- 1:04:12Speaker 29: He was such a cute little man.
- 1:04:15Speaker 19: How old was he?
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: It's 1986.
- 1:04:17Speaker 19: How old was he?
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: He has to be like 11 or 12. He's the
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: same age as you are.
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: Is he?
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:04:27Speaker 29: Maybe a little bit younger.
- 1:04:28Speaker 19: I was going to say he seems a little bit younger,
- 1:04:29Speaker 19: but I don't know.
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: So thank you to Noah for his take on it.
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: So now we can go into our thoughts on it. So,
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: all right.
- 1:04:40Speaker 29: It didn't suck.
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: Yeah. Here's the thing. I'd seen this one, but it
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: was a long time ago. I think probably like when
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: it first hit video. And that's the last time I'd
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: seen it. And I had it sort of, categorized one
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: way in my head, and when I went back and
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: watched it, it's a totally different type of movie. I mean,
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: I was shocked by how much it's just a fantasy movie. Like,
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: it's almost like a kid's movie, to some extent, for
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: the most part. Like, if you took out a few
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: key scenes, you could easily market this to kids, and
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: that probably is how it.
- 1:05:13Speaker 19: Like Sonny Bono kicking the hooker out?
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, that's basically, it's like, it was so inconsistent.
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: It's like, 90% of it is this goofy kid's fantasy
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: movie that would be fine to play to any little kid.
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: And this is my theory that, okay, it's 86. We're
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: just on the wave of PG-13 kicking in. So it's like, oh,
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: we finally get to be able to throw some of
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: this other stuff in there. So you get the creepy
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: Sonny Bono character throwing shit around every other word. I mean,
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: he constantly is cursing in front of this small child.
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: And then, so, I mean, that seemed oddly out of place.
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: And then you get all the weird, like, violence and, like,
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: gore stuff that they throw in just for the sake
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: of throwing it in because, hey, it's PG-13, we can!
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: Let's do it! So, I don't know, those, some of
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: those scenes seemed, like, weird and out of place. But
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: the rest of it, yeah, I was kind of surprised
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: how much it was, it was sort of, like, almost
- 1:06:14Speaker 5: like a fun fantasy movie. Like, way more than I
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: kind of remembered. Like, I remembered it being sort of
- 1:06:19Speaker 5: a bad horror movie. And then going back and watching it,
- 1:06:22Speaker 5: I'm like, it's not even horror at all. It's just
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: a goofy, like, kid's story, like, storybook kind of movie.
- 1:06:29Speaker 30: I don't know.
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: How long would it have been since you guys had
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: seen it?
- 1:06:32Speaker 29: I've never seen it.
- 1:06:33Speaker 19: I mean, this is the first time I saw it.
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: Hmm. And just, and even, well, I mean, even in general,
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: doesn't it seem like over the years it's been marketed
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: more as a horror movie?
- 1:06:42Speaker 19: Yeah, it has.
- 1:06:44Speaker 29: Like, I hadn't heard much about it.
- 1:06:48Speaker 8: I was always told that it was kind of a
- 1:06:50Speaker 8: horror movie, like a bad.
- 1:06:51Speaker 19: Horror movie, but it seemed a lot... I think it
- 1:06:54Speaker 19: kind of overshadowed it.
- 1:06:55Speaker 29: For me as far as hearing stuff about it. I
- 1:06:57Speaker 29: don't know.
- 1:07:00Speaker 8: It did seem like one of those, you know, right
- 1:07:03Speaker 8: on the borderline of being a kid's movie.
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: It seemed a little more than that, and that's the thing.
- 1:07:08Speaker 5: I mean, I kind of remembered it being more of
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: an adult kind of horror movie, and then getting into this,
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: I was like, it just felt so much like a
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: kid's movie that they just crammed some other stuff into
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: to try to widen their audience all of a sudden.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:23Speaker 19: An 80s kid's movie.
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:07:24Speaker 8: Not a.
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: Not a Disney.
- 1:07:27Speaker 19: 2011 kids movie.
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: A Disney-fied bullshit CGI-filled kids movie.
- 1:07:32Speaker 30: I don't think his kids had better kid movies. I mean,
- 1:07:35Speaker 30: I'm just partial, but... Our kids movies didn't suck. They
- 1:07:39Speaker 30: weren't as baby-fied and baby-fied.
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: As they are now.
- 1:07:41Speaker 5: Yeah, that's maybe the thing. I mean, looking back, maybe
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: it's not that far removed. Maybe I'm just thinking of
- 1:07:48Speaker 5: more now-type projects that makes it seem a little inappropriate
- 1:07:52Speaker 5: when they work in some of this other stuff. Because...
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: thinking back to the 80's kids movies they were you
- 1:07:58Speaker 5: know you could get away with a lot of stuff
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: and they did and nobody thought twice about it really
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: so I don't know I really.
- 1:08:06Speaker 20: Didn't expect much going into this movie at all I'm
- 1:08:09Speaker 20: like oh this is going to be cheesy this is.
- 1:08:11Speaker 30: Going to be ridiculous but I was watching it and
- 1:08:14Speaker 30: there were some parts I didn't really laugh I thought
- 1:08:16Speaker 30: it was actually quite fun it was still cheesy and ridiculous.
- 1:08:20Speaker 20: But I enjoyed it I guess maybe I was just
- 1:08:23Speaker 20: in a really good mood that day.
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: I don't know well this is what i said to
- 1:08:27Speaker 5: noah it's pretty impressive right off the bat top build
- 1:08:31Speaker 5: how long was he doing i just thought that was
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: kind of cool that over you know june lockhart and
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: sunny bono and all these i mean he's still getting
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: top billing that's that's pretty awesome all right uh do
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: we want to address the fact that he's the first
- 1:08:45Speaker 5: harry potter yeah he's harry potter Actually, his dad would
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: be the first Harry Potter. Well, as the hero of
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: the story, you know.
- 1:08:55Speaker 29: I was making a connection. He asked the witch lady
- 1:08:58Speaker 29: if she would make him.
- 1:08:59Speaker 19: Oh, that's right.
- 1:09:00Speaker 29: If she would teach him how to be a wizard.
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 1:09:04Speaker 30: I told that comic about that to Jay when I
- 1:09:08Speaker 30: watched it.
- 1:09:10Speaker 19: What's her name again?
- 1:09:11Speaker 11: The witch?
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: The witch. june lockhart june lockhart yeah.
- 1:09:15Speaker 8: It's just me or when she transformed she turned into
- 1:09:18Speaker 8: one hell of a cougar.
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: Okay well that's he pointed it out that's what's funny
- 1:09:22Speaker 5: is like okay she she transforms from an old lady
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: to a slightly young girl yeah i know i was
- 1:09:28Speaker 5: like it's.
- 1:09:29Speaker 29: Her daughter who plays the role i know.
- 1:09:31Speaker 19: But i was like is that the same wow her
- 1:09:33Speaker 19: hair looks great and then i was like she's a
- 1:09:36Speaker 19: cool wait a minute but.
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: It's not like she well first of all I don't
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: understand why I mean we're jumping way ahead but I
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: don't understand why she had to turn like couldn't she
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: just battle them anyway why did she have to turn
- 1:09:46Speaker 5: a little younger and again if you were going to
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: go back in time why didn't she like a 20
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: year old version of herself.
- 1:09:53Speaker 8: Maybe she was a 20 year old version of herself
- 1:09:55Speaker 8: because you're kind of in your 80s when.
- 1:09:57Speaker 5: That's true I have no idea you.
- 1:10:00Speaker 8: Know it's like chicks you thought were like wow she
- 1:10:02Speaker 8: looks 40 she was really like you know 20 They
- 1:10:06Speaker 8: didn't have all that age-defying cream that they got now.
- 1:10:09Speaker 29: I guess.
- 1:10:10Speaker 5: I don't know. But it was weird. It almost made
- 1:10:13Speaker 5: no sense why she transforms anyway. I'm like, okay.
- 1:10:16Speaker 8: You know, she got tired blood and low iron and
- 1:10:21Speaker 8: calcium deficiency in her bones or some.
- 1:10:23Speaker 19: Shit like that. She's not taking her super cow. Yeah,
- 1:10:26Speaker 19: she's going to break a hip. She had to go
- 1:10:28Speaker 19: back in time.
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: I was going to run through some of this. Okay,
- 1:10:32Speaker 5: what was their obsession with freaking Rat Burgers? why why
- 1:10:37Speaker 5: would you even write that oh i don't know that
- 1:10:40Speaker 5: sounds like it was a joke i know but like
- 1:10:42Speaker 5: and then the kid just rants about him for like
- 1:10:44Speaker 5: 15 minutes yeah what is it i mean wouldn't that
- 1:10:51Speaker 5: again it serves its purpose to the story but like
- 1:10:54Speaker 5: if your child was behaving the way she was in
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: the first 10-15 minutes first of all beat that child
- 1:11:00Speaker 5: And second of all, wouldn't you have her committed by
- 1:11:02Speaker 5: the time she was, like, frothing at the mouth and
- 1:11:04Speaker 5: screaming rat burrs over and over again?
- 1:11:06Speaker 19: Oh, yeah, no, no, no, it's so cute. She's so cute.
- 1:11:09Speaker 5: She's so funny. All of a sudden, for a second,
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: she just giggles, and it's like, oh, honey, you're okay.
- 1:11:16Speaker 19: There's nothing wrong with you mentally.
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: It was like straight jack at that child. Oh, then
- 1:11:22Speaker 5: we get to meet the neighbors, and right off the bat,
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: Sonny's a jackass.
- 1:11:27Speaker 19: He is, isn't he?
- 1:11:28Speaker 5: Which, it makes me wonder what prompted him to take this.
- 1:11:31Speaker 5: I mean, he hasn't, at that point, hadn't done a
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: lot of acting, certainly not movie. I mean, he had
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: his own TV show, but he wasn't really known as
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: a film actor, so why he chose to make his
- 1:11:42Speaker 5: big breakout role Troll, I don't know. And then why
- 1:11:45Speaker 5: would you pick this role? Because you're horrible in it. Like,
- 1:11:49Speaker 5: you're a terrible person the whole time. I don't know.
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: I thought that was so weird. I mean, I like Sonny.
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: He's cool and all, but.
- 1:11:57Speaker 29: But he played the sleazy asshole so perfectly.
- 1:12:00Speaker 5: I guess. I mean, it wasn't bad casting. It just
- 1:12:04Speaker 5: seems odd from his perspective to put yourself in this
- 1:12:09Speaker 5: sleazy character and you're iced right off the bat. So
- 1:12:13Speaker 5: that's why I thought maybe he was just doing somebody
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: a favor. He's just, I don't want to be in
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: it long. Just kill me quick. Hurry up. I don't know.
- 1:12:20Speaker 29: I was more partial to the other neighbor.
- 1:12:22Speaker 19: Which military guy?
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: Crazy guy. Yeah, dude.
- 1:12:25Speaker 19: He reminded me of Terry off of True Blood. Yeah.
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: Oh, Terry on True Blood?
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:12:31Speaker 19: He's funny.
- 1:12:32Speaker 29: I can't remember the guy's name from the movie, though.
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: Yeah, me neither.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: Bart? Bart?
- 1:12:38Speaker 4: No, I wouldn't like his name.
- 1:12:39Speaker 12: Bart?
- 1:12:40Speaker 5: Bart. And then we meet Elaine. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
- 1:12:45Speaker 19: I forgot about Elaine.
- 1:12:46Speaker 5: Little itty bitty Elaine back when she was... I think
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: this was like her first movie at least this was
- 1:12:51Speaker 5: her first role as a big film star how.
- 1:12:56Speaker 8: Does she turn into not becoming a hideously deformed creature
- 1:13:00Speaker 8: she was a girl the troll.
- 1:13:03Speaker 29: Wanted to pet that.
- 1:13:04Speaker 20: Yeah you know I guess he multiplied her and made
- 1:13:11Speaker 20: her a wood nymph a.
- 1:13:14Speaker 5: Wood nymph she was she was a nymph of some
- 1:13:18Speaker 5: sort I'm multiplying him.
- 1:13:20Speaker 19: I'm sure Oregon has something to get rid of.
- 1:13:23Speaker 5: You've got to pay extra for that, though. It's an
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: extra service charge. The other thing that made me really
- 1:13:30Speaker 5: realize how much it felt like a kid's movie was
- 1:13:34Speaker 5: bringing in the whole Gene Lockhart character. Mrs. Sinclair. She
- 1:13:39Speaker 5: was awesome. She was awesome, actually. The more I watched,
- 1:13:42Speaker 5: I was like, no wonder. If I was this kid,
- 1:13:45Speaker 5: I'd go hang out at her house, too. She's got
- 1:13:46Speaker 5: cool stuff. She's got weapons on the wall. She's kind
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: of like a creepy old lady. She dresses sort of goth,
- 1:13:52Speaker 5: and she curses in front of kids, too. It kind of.
- 1:13:55Speaker 29: Reminds me of my grandma.
- 1:13:56Speaker 19: Yeah, kind of.
- 1:13:58Speaker 29: My grandma wasn't dressed goth. She calls you up and
- 1:14:01Speaker 29: yells at you for calling.
- 1:14:02Speaker 19: Yeah, really. She called me up to.
- 1:14:05Speaker 8: We're at the convention. She's like, who is this? I
- 1:14:08Speaker 8: was like, this is Jay. She's like, why do I
- 1:14:12Speaker 8: have your number on my phone? I was like, because
- 1:14:16Speaker 8: you called me.
- 1:14:19Speaker 5: That's a girl.
- 1:14:20Speaker 8: Apparently I have a New Haven number, which we don't
- 1:14:25Speaker 8: know why. And she couldn't figure out who it was
- 1:14:28Speaker 8: that was in New Haven that was calling her who
- 1:14:30Speaker 8: she was calling.
- 1:14:31Speaker 29: She don't put up with no shit.
- 1:14:32Speaker 19: She does not put up with any shit.
- 1:14:34Speaker 5: Yeah, immediately. Who the hell is this? But yeah, I
- 1:14:39Speaker 5: like that old lady.
- 1:14:40Speaker 29: Yeah, that was awesome.
- 1:14:42Speaker 5: She was the smartest.
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:14:44Speaker 5: I liked her.
- 1:14:47Speaker 29: We skipped over one of my favorite scenes. The weird
- 1:14:50Speaker 29: musical scene.
- 1:14:52Speaker 5: The singing trolls. What the fuck was that?
- 1:14:59Speaker 19: I wanted to ask him about that.
- 1:15:01Speaker 5: That was a what the fuck moment because as that
- 1:15:04Speaker 5: kicked in I was just like how did this movie
- 1:15:07Speaker 5: get made? Thank you. I just started laughing. I'm like,
- 1:15:49Speaker 5: once again, now it's kind of awesome, but I'm just like, what?
- 1:15:53Speaker 19: Yeah, I had a really puzzled look on my face.
- 1:15:56Speaker 19: I'm just kind of like, what the hell is going
- 1:15:58Speaker 19: on here?
- 1:16:00Speaker 8: I started thinking maybe Misty snuck some stuff in my drink.
- 1:16:03Speaker 8: And you were seeing trolls and ghoulies. That's my favorite,
- 1:16:08Speaker 8: is the people turn into pods.
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: And it creates a jungle, and then out comes Ghoulies. Yeah.
- 1:16:15Speaker 5: It really is, because that guy did the makeup on Ghoulies. So, basically,
- 1:16:20Speaker 5: he's using the same design, and then a few years later,
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: directed Ghoulies 3. Do you know the subtitle to Ghoulies 3?
- 1:16:29Speaker 19: Ghoulies 3.
- 1:16:31Speaker 5: I'm not making this up. Oh, electrical. No, it's even better.
- 1:16:35Speaker 5: Ghoulies go to college. What?
- 1:16:37Speaker 19: Is there any Dangerfield in this one?
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: Oh, back to Ghoulies go to college. Yeah, so yeah,
- 1:16:45Speaker 5: that I think is hilarious, Ghoulies go to college. But yeah,
- 1:16:47Speaker 5: he directed that, and I think he had done makeup
- 1:16:50Speaker 5: on a whole bunch of those beforehand. So yeah, he
- 1:16:53Speaker 5: really did. It's like it was nothing but Ghoulies and
- 1:16:56Speaker 5: then a miniature little Gilman. Remember the one guy.
- 1:16:59Speaker 19: That looked like a little creature? Yeah, he did.
- 1:17:01Speaker 5: What was that about?
- 1:17:02Speaker 19: That was awesome.
- 1:17:03Speaker 8: That was his little homage to the creature.
- 1:17:06Speaker 5: He says, like, I really like classic horror, but instead
- 1:17:09Speaker 5: I'm making this crazy-ass troll movie.
- 1:17:11Speaker 29: Yeah, that whole scene was just phenomenal.
- 1:17:14Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:17:14Speaker 5: But then, so the Miss Sinclair, like, that part is
- 1:17:17Speaker 5: the part that, like, really feels like you're reading, like,
- 1:17:20Speaker 5: a kid's book, almost. You know, like, where the main
- 1:17:23Speaker 5: character kid is talking about the creepy old lady that
- 1:17:25Speaker 5: lives upstairs, and then they They're kind of intrigued by her,
- 1:17:28Speaker 5: and they're going to go up there and try to
- 1:17:30Speaker 5: learn about her. I don't know. That part just really
- 1:17:33Speaker 5: felt very kid's storybook-like to me, which is, I think,
- 1:17:38Speaker 5: when I started realizing this isn't a horror movie at all.
- 1:17:40Speaker 5: This is just a kid's fantasy movie with some foul
- 1:17:44Speaker 5: language and horror grossness thrown in. And she has a
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: mushroom with a face.
- 1:17:50Speaker 29: Yeah, that was kind of crazy.
- 1:17:50Speaker 19: Yeah, that was weird.
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: That was strange. But again, very magical, just sort of
- 1:17:57Speaker 5: sitting around her house. She's a crazy old magical lady.
- 1:18:01Speaker 5: That she turns it into a lamp. Or a mushroom.
- 1:18:08Speaker 29: Lamp head. Have you seen my sister?
- 1:18:12Speaker 5: No.
- 1:18:13Speaker 23: Oh, good.
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: Can I come in?
- 1:18:15Speaker 5: I think I'm going to throw up. How can I
- 1:18:17Speaker 5: resist an offer like that?
- 1:18:18Speaker 12: Go on in.
- 1:18:19Speaker 29: The bathroom's on the right.
- 1:18:21Speaker 5: All of the apartments are pretty bitchin'. Sonny's bitchin' bachelor pad.
- 1:18:25Speaker 5: I mean, when you put racing stripes on the walls
- 1:18:29Speaker 5: of your house.
- 1:18:31Speaker 29: I'm surprised you haven't had to do that yet, Jay.
- 1:18:34Speaker 5: And the dragons. You know, you want to put the
- 1:18:36Speaker 5: big gold dragon up there.
- 1:18:37Speaker 29: I liked his dancing moves that he was doing. Those
- 1:18:39Speaker 29: were pretty sweet.
- 1:18:40Speaker 4: His seducing the lady moves, or whatever the hell they were,
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: or the after play.
- 1:18:45Speaker 5: Well it worked obviously you saw that sweet piece of
- 1:18:48Speaker 5: ass he.
- 1:18:49Speaker 19: Had in there that was the junk shaker.
- 1:18:54Speaker 5: Oh lord oh but then you get to the other
- 1:18:56Speaker 5: you get to Duke your favorite guy dude that was
- 1:18:59Speaker 5: his name snakeskin wallpaper is awesome yeah yeah.
- 1:19:02Speaker 32: I was like did he just have snakeskin wallpaper cause.
- 1:19:05Speaker 5: That's fucking awesome that is fucking awesome That I would
- 1:19:09Speaker 5: put up there with my dragon on the wall. The
- 1:19:12Speaker 5: racing stripes.
- 1:19:14Speaker 29: Racing stripes would not go well with your snakeskin wallpaper.
- 1:19:18Speaker 5: It would try to clash, but it would be so
- 1:19:21Speaker 5: awesome you couldn't argue with it.
- 1:19:22Speaker 29: I don't know about that.
- 1:19:24Speaker 5: I also like that Duke keeps a loaded gun on
- 1:19:26Speaker 5: the wall. Not just that he has guns hanging about,
- 1:19:30Speaker 5: but it was loaded.
- 1:19:32Speaker 29: What's wrong with that?
- 1:19:34Speaker 5: You never know when you're going to need it. That's
- 1:19:36Speaker 5: why I keep mine. So then I was going to
- 1:19:40Speaker 5: go into, we meet her little friend, Malcolm.
- 1:19:44Speaker 29: Malcolm was awesome.
- 1:19:45Speaker 5: Malcolm is awesome. He's like the best actor, and I'm
- 1:19:48Speaker 5: not counting the troll makeup. But as actors go, I'm like,
- 1:19:51Speaker 5: that guy's good. Granted, he's been in a ton of movies,
- 1:19:55Speaker 5: but it was funny just watching him. I'm like, this
- 1:19:57Speaker 5: guy's actually really good. He should get normal guy roles
- 1:20:01Speaker 5: more often. All they ever do is cast him in
- 1:20:04Speaker 5: crazy troll movies, but.
- 1:20:06Speaker 29: I told Jay that if Izzy ever brings home a midget, that.
- 1:20:09Speaker 5: Would not go over well. Why? You have a problem
- 1:20:12Speaker 5: with bringing a little friend over?
- 1:20:14Speaker 29: It's just creepy.
- 1:20:15Speaker 19: We got a little guy that lives in our neighborhood.
- 1:20:18Speaker 29: Not that midgets are creepy. I just don't.
- 1:20:22Speaker 19: The guy's cool. I want to be his friend.
- 1:20:26Speaker 29: You wouldn't feel creeped out if Izzy brought him over?
- 1:20:29Speaker 19: If he was hanging out?
- 1:20:30Speaker 5: No.
- 1:20:31Speaker 29: If he's hanging out with your kids?
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: What?
- 1:20:34Speaker 29: Never mind.
- 1:20:34Speaker 5: That would be a red flag. I would be worried.
- 1:20:37Speaker 19: Well, I mean, they were really hanging out. She just, like,
- 1:20:41Speaker 19: met him.
- 1:20:42Speaker 5: As the movie went on, they kind of are. Yeah,
- 1:20:46Speaker 5: they kind of are. The mom and dad didn't know that.
- 1:20:48Speaker 19: Yeah, but you've got to think about it.
- 1:20:50Speaker 8: The reason she's hanging out with him is not because
- 1:20:52Speaker 8: she's a little girl.
- 1:20:53Speaker 19: It's because she's a troll.
- 1:20:54Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:20:55Speaker 19: In a girl's body, thinking that he is a troll.
- 1:20:58Speaker 29: Her parents don't know that.
- 1:20:59Speaker 19: Yeah, their parents, back in the 80s, parents were stupid anyway.
- 1:21:03Speaker 19: They didn't really care.
- 1:21:04Speaker 8: You let your kids go outside and play all damn day.
- 1:21:08Speaker 19: You didn't know where the fuck they were, and they
- 1:21:10Speaker 19: showed up around dinner time.
- 1:21:11Speaker 8: You would drop them off with strangers, and they would
- 1:21:16Speaker 8: be fine.
- 1:21:17Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 1:21:18Speaker 5: That was going to be one of my main questions
- 1:21:20Speaker 5: about this movie, is who's watching these damn kids?
- 1:21:23Speaker 4: Nobody.
- 1:21:23Speaker 19: You don't have to.
- 1:21:24Speaker 5: Back in the 80s, nobody watched you. Not even the
- 1:21:27Speaker 5: little girl, because once again, she was a troll, and
- 1:21:29Speaker 5: she was out of her mind. But even Noah, I'm like...
- 1:21:32Speaker 5: Would you let your young boy go hang out with
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: this old lady? Talk about cougar. I mean, this old
- 1:21:38Speaker 5: lady lives upstairs, and he's spending all day there.
- 1:21:41Speaker 20: And if they'd have been watching her in the first place,
- 1:21:43Speaker 20: she wouldn't have ended up getting snatched by a troll
- 1:21:45Speaker 20: in the first place.
- 1:21:46Speaker 29: I know.
- 1:21:46Speaker 19: Dude, I don't know, man. When I was eight, when
- 1:21:48Speaker 19: I was growing up, I was running around the woods.
- 1:21:50Speaker 19: Did you ever get snatched by a troll? Never got
- 1:21:52Speaker 19: snatched by a troll.
- 1:21:53Speaker 29: Son of a bitch.
- 1:21:54Speaker 19: I could shoot a gun by the time I was eight,
- 1:21:56Speaker 19: you know? That's why I never got snatched by a troll.
- 1:21:58Speaker 19: That's why I never got snatched by a damn troll.
- 1:22:00Speaker 5: No, until you were 13, son.
- 1:22:01Speaker 8: Yeah, no, you know, I mean, I was eight, and
- 1:22:05Speaker 8: it was one of those things where I had my bicycle,
- 1:22:07Speaker 8: and my mom locked me out of the house because
- 1:22:10Speaker 8: Days of Our Lives or whatever soap opera she was
- 1:22:12Speaker 8: watching started, and I was not allowed to come in
- 1:22:15Speaker 8: the damn house the whole time she was watching her soaps.
- 1:22:18Speaker 19: Sorry to stay outside.
- 1:22:19Speaker 5: Her stories.
- 1:22:20Speaker 19: Her stories. I had to stay outside.
- 1:22:22Speaker 8: If you want a drink of water, you drink it
- 1:22:23Speaker 8: out of the garden hose. And you got your bicycle.
- 1:22:26Speaker 8: You want to eat, you eat bugs and berries. And
- 1:22:28Speaker 8: I rode everywhere. I mean, my nearest friend lived probably
- 1:22:34Speaker 8: about two and a half miles away, so I had
- 1:22:36Speaker 8: to ride my bike two and a half miles on
- 1:22:38Speaker 8: a road.
- 1:22:40Speaker 19: You know, I could have got hit by a car.
- 1:22:41Speaker 19: I could have got snatched.
- 1:22:43Speaker 5: But, you know. It was a different world.
- 1:22:44Speaker 19: It was a different world back then.
- 1:22:46Speaker 5: Obviously, because you let your kid go upstairs with the
- 1:22:49Speaker 5: creepy old lady.
- 1:22:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:22:51Speaker 5: But, yeah, that's what I thought was funny was just
- 1:22:53Speaker 5: how much, not just one, but both of the kids
- 1:22:56Speaker 5: are just hanging out in other people's apartments. I mean,
- 1:22:59Speaker 5: if you lived in an apartment complex and the kid
- 1:23:01Speaker 5: downstairs came up and just started hanging out in your house,
- 1:23:04Speaker 5: wouldn't you be like, It's in my house.
- 1:23:06Speaker 29: Peepholes are for. I'm opening that door. I can't see somebody.
- 1:23:09Speaker 5: That's what I was thinking.
- 1:23:11Speaker 29: I assume they're kids or midgets.
- 1:23:15Speaker 5: Don't open the door.
- 1:23:18Speaker 29: Again, I have nothing against midgets. I still don't like kids, though.
- 1:23:22Speaker 5: That's a given.
- 1:23:24Speaker 25: That isn't Spot, our pet, Nancy.
- 1:23:27Speaker 9: That's something that looks like Spot, acts like Spot, even
- 1:23:31Speaker 9: smells like Spot.
- 1:23:32Speaker 5: But in reality, it's a Martian.
- 1:23:35Speaker 6: You mean.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:23:37Speaker 11: Our dog is a pod person from the planet Mars.
- 1:23:41Speaker 5: Okay, I want to watch the pod person movie about
- 1:23:44Speaker 5: Mars that he keeps turning on. Because that looks pretty awesome.
- 1:23:47Speaker 4: Yeah, it does.
- 1:23:49Speaker 29: It's very repetitive.
- 1:23:51Speaker 5: But they're explaining all the rules to you.
- 1:23:53Speaker 29: Over and over again.
- 1:23:54Speaker 5: They did shoot all that themselves, I think. I think
- 1:23:57Speaker 5: it is like the band guys, the producer. Yeah, so
- 1:24:01Speaker 5: I think they shot all that footage themselves, which is funny. Okay,
- 1:24:05Speaker 5: I'm assuming if anybody noticed this, how many times did
- 1:24:08Speaker 5: he mention Star Trek in this movie? A lot. I
- 1:24:11Speaker 5: think like three times.
- 1:24:13Speaker 29: Actually, that was the first time he said he said
- 1:24:14Speaker 29: Star Trek, so.
- 1:24:15Speaker 5: That didn't count.
- 1:24:16Speaker 29: Because Star Trek, I would say it was Star Trek.
- 1:24:19Speaker 5: It might be.
- 1:24:19Speaker 29: No, I don't think so.
- 1:24:21Speaker 5: But how come the first time it was almost negative?
- 1:24:23Speaker 5: It was almost like it was like... Like he's talking
- 1:24:25Speaker 5: shit about it. Yeah, like it was the worst thing
- 1:24:27Speaker 5: he could imagine, and then later he was like a
- 1:24:29Speaker 5: big dork and he liked it. So I was like,
- 1:24:31Speaker 5: this is inconsistent.
- 1:24:32Speaker 29: When I was a kid, they were usually kind of wishy-washy.
- 1:24:34Speaker 5: I guess, but it was funny how many times in
- 1:24:37Speaker 5: this one, like, hour and a half movie, like, how
- 1:24:40Speaker 5: many times can you work that plug in for Star Trek?
- 1:24:43Speaker 29: Can we talk about the creepy pictures of Noah Haskell
- 1:24:45Speaker 29: we found on the internet?
- 1:24:47Speaker 4: No.
- 1:24:47Speaker 5: Would you like to take a creepy Noah Haskell?
- 1:24:48Speaker 8: I don't mind you reminding me about those when we
- 1:24:51Speaker 8: were talking to him.
- 1:24:52Speaker 19: That's all I probably would have said.
- 1:24:55Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:24:56Speaker 33: Now, what he was talking about earlier, I'm talking to him,
- 1:25:00Speaker 33: and the reason, I remember, Misty, we were talking about this,
- 1:25:02Speaker 33: that he had a Facebook page, and then I was like, oh, yeah,
- 1:25:05Speaker 33: I was going to message him before he got there,
- 1:25:07Speaker 33: but it was just gone.
- 1:25:08Speaker 5: And when I was talking to him today, he said
- 1:25:11Speaker 5: somebody hacked it. And he was talking about how it
- 1:25:14Speaker 5: was a shame because he'd lost some pictures that he
- 1:25:17Speaker 5: had on there. And I'm like, oh, I think I
- 1:25:20Speaker 5: know which ones you're talking about.
- 1:25:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:25:22Speaker 5: Okay, Miss, did you describe your favorite photos you found
- 1:25:25Speaker 5: on the internet?
- 1:25:25Speaker 29: Dude, they made me feel dirty. I feel like I
- 1:25:27Speaker 29: had to take a shower afterwards.
- 1:25:29Speaker 32: I'm pretty sure, like, the police are going to come
- 1:25:30Speaker 32: knocking on my door any day just for looking and
- 1:25:33Speaker 32: sending me.
- 1:25:34Speaker 29: Pictures for a ride.
- 1:25:34Speaker 5: Yeah, thanks, and you forwarded them to me.
- 1:25:36Speaker 29: I did, dude, totally.
- 1:25:37Speaker 4: Jerk.
- 1:25:38Speaker 29: I mean, they are some, like... How old would you
- 1:25:42Speaker 29: say he is in these photos?
- 1:25:44Speaker 5: I mean, it's around the same time as this movie, right? So, yeah,
- 1:25:47Speaker 5: 12 or 13, probably.
- 1:25:49Speaker 29: And he's wearing these, like, Really short.
- 1:25:52Speaker 19: Bike shorts.
- 1:25:53Speaker 5: They're jeans.
- 1:25:54Speaker 29: I think they're, like, jeans, aren't they?
- 1:25:56Speaker 19: Oh, they look like biking shorts, like the old biking shorts.
- 1:25:59Speaker 4: These were, like.
- 1:25:59Speaker 5: They look like just that stuff they used to sell as, like,
- 1:26:02Speaker 5: athletic shorts.
- 1:26:03Speaker 19: That's what I'm talking about. Athletic shorts were, like.
- 1:26:06Speaker 8: Not bicycle, but it was the brand bike shorts.
- 1:26:09Speaker 5: Yeah, okay.
- 1:26:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:26:10Speaker 19: Like coaches wore.
- 1:26:12Speaker 5: Yeah, the ones that are way, way, way too short.
- 1:26:15Speaker 19: And it's made out of some weird material. It's not jean.
- 1:26:18Speaker 19: It looks like jean, but it's, like, polyester.
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:26:21Speaker 19: It's, oh, it's just weird.
- 1:26:23Speaker 5: They were creepy back in the day.
- 1:26:24Speaker 29: They were wearing these really, really tight, short shorts.
- 1:26:29Speaker 19: White shorts.
- 1:26:30Speaker 24: White.
- 1:26:31Speaker 20: And there's a pose of him, like, on the bed.
- 1:26:33Speaker 5: And there's several poses on the bed. Those creep me out,
- 1:26:36Speaker 5: by the way. Why did you make me look at those?
- 1:26:39Speaker 29: One of them laying on his stomach, kind of gazing long.
- 1:26:42Speaker 5: Over his shoulder with his ass.
- 1:26:44Speaker 29: No.
- 1:26:45Speaker 22: Yeah.
- 1:26:46Speaker 19: What kind of kid pictures are these? Dirty, like, pedophile pictures.
- 1:26:50Speaker 12: Wow.
- 1:26:51Speaker 5: I don't know. These Hollywood producer guys or whatever photographer
- 1:26:56Speaker 5: they hired, I don't know.
- 1:26:57Speaker 32: Of course I saw them. I was looking for pictures
- 1:26:59Speaker 32: on eBay. I wasn't specifically seeking out strangers. I was
- 1:27:05Speaker 32: looking up Noah Hathaway on eBay to see if there
- 1:27:09Speaker 32: was anything like anything.
- 1:27:11Speaker 29: Cool stuff on there to purchase. And I found these
- 1:27:13Speaker 29: pictures and I'm like, oh my god, Jay, you have
- 1:27:15Speaker 29: to look at these.
- 1:27:15Speaker 8: And of course, you know, I'm sitting off of Motorcycle
- 1:27:19Speaker 8: Land and looking at parts on eBay and shit like that.
- 1:27:22Speaker 29: And then I show you parts.
- 1:27:23Speaker 8: And, you know, that's not the kind of parts I
- 1:27:25Speaker 8: want to see.
- 1:27:27Speaker 19: You know?
- 1:27:28Speaker 5: Got suckered in on that one, too.
- 1:27:30Speaker 29: And it was just, yeah, it was.
- 1:27:33Speaker 19: That's what I told her. I was like, you better
- 1:27:34Speaker 19: quit looking at that. The FBI is going to come
- 1:27:36Speaker 19: get you.
- 1:27:36Speaker 29: I never said it on eBay. I wasn't looking at
- 1:27:39Speaker 29: pity porn.
- 1:27:39Speaker 5: I don't know. It's a fine line, though. Those pictures
- 1:27:42Speaker 5: are scary.
- 1:27:43Speaker 3: They are.
- 1:27:43Speaker 19: Of course, I.
- 1:27:44Speaker 29: Had to forward them on to Brian.
- 1:27:45Speaker 5: Yeah, of course.
- 1:27:47Speaker 8: I mean, there's no nudity in them or anything like that,
- 1:27:49Speaker 8: but there's very, very, very suggestive posing.
- 1:27:52Speaker 5: Creepy.
- 1:27:53Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:27:54Speaker 5: I feel bad for Noah just knowing that they're out there.
- 1:27:56Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:27:58Speaker 29: And of course Jay's like, dude, you should print one
- 1:28:00Speaker 29: of those out and.
- 1:28:01Speaker 19: Have him sign it. Because I'm a bastard like that.
- 1:28:04Speaker 5: Then I said it would be so much cooler if
- 1:28:05Speaker 5: you asked him to sign it, Jay. Yeah, can you
- 1:28:08Speaker 5: sign right here?
- 1:28:10Speaker 29: Sign right across your ass.
- 1:28:12Speaker 19: I'm not creepy enough to pull that off.
- 1:28:14Speaker 5: Yeah, Brian, let's do it to you.
- 1:28:16Speaker 19: Wait a minute.
- 1:28:17Speaker 5: I'm like a young boy. Anyway, so I don't know.
- 1:28:23Speaker 5: Was there any more to the creepy photo story?
- 1:28:26Speaker 29: No, that was about it. That's all about the creepy photos.
- 1:28:30Speaker 5: Hopefully, you're not out there buying them, people, because they
- 1:28:32Speaker 5: were creepy. Yeah, Noah, I feel sorry that you had
- 1:28:37Speaker 5: to take those photos. Some producer or agent made you
- 1:28:42Speaker 5: do it. Creepy. Okay.
- 1:28:44Speaker 29: He's not going to listen to this and be traumatized,
- 1:28:46Speaker 29: is he?
- 1:28:46Speaker 9: Probably.
- 1:28:47Speaker 5: I don't blame him. I would have been traumatized by
- 1:28:49Speaker 5: those photos, too.
- 1:28:50Speaker 32: That's not like bringing up repressed memories or something.
- 1:28:54Speaker 19: I don't know.
- 1:28:55Speaker 8: It was probably one of those things that at the
- 1:28:57Speaker 8: time happened and he probably didn't really, I mean, you're
- 1:28:59Speaker 8: a kid and you don't know.
- 1:29:00Speaker 19: And then now you look back at it and you're like, man,
- 1:29:03Speaker 19: what the fuck, dude? This guy took pictures of me? God,
- 1:29:07Speaker 19: I want to kick his ass.
- 1:29:08Speaker 23: You know?
- 1:29:09Speaker 5: And now he could.
- 1:29:10Speaker 19: Yeah, yeah, he could.
- 1:29:12Speaker 4: Awesome.
- 1:29:12Speaker 19: But, I don't know. I don't know, though, because back
- 1:29:18Speaker 19: then it was the 80s. I got pictures of.
- 1:29:21Speaker 29: Are there pictures of you in those short shorts?
- 1:29:23Speaker 19: Yeah, actually there is. Tight ones? Yeah, tight ones. Little
- 1:29:27Speaker 19: tight biking shorts.
- 1:29:28Speaker 5: I'm sure I have.
- 1:29:30Speaker 19: Half cut off mesh jersey.
- 1:29:32Speaker 5: I think about some of the clothes they gave me
- 1:29:36Speaker 5: as a kid.
- 1:29:37Speaker 19: You wore that back then.
- 1:29:38Speaker 29: Did you pose like that?
- 1:29:40Speaker 19: No, I was climbing fake mountains.
- 1:29:44Speaker 5: I was riding my my Evel Knievel bike.
- 1:29:46Speaker 8: Around yeah you know you did stuff like that I
- 1:29:49Speaker 8: don't know now it's it's more at home at like
- 1:29:52Speaker 8: kind of a gay club.
- 1:29:54Speaker 19: But how did that happen you.
- 1:29:56Speaker 5: Know and why did it switch where now if people
- 1:29:59Speaker 5: saw that with their kids they would freak out I
- 1:30:02Speaker 5: know but like I mean you wouldn't even thought twice.
- 1:30:04Speaker 8: In the 80s about something like that I mean guys
- 1:30:06Speaker 8: went to school with like you know shit like that.
- 1:30:09Speaker 5: Yeah it's very strange this didn't make any sense to
- 1:30:12Speaker 5: me Very strange.
- 1:30:14Speaker 19: I got a picture of me in Boy Scouts like that.
- 1:30:16Speaker 8: Big old huge trucker Boy Scout cap and little half
- 1:30:22Speaker 8: cut off football jersey t-shirt.
- 1:30:24Speaker 29: Why am I not doing these pictures?
- 1:30:25Speaker 8: Because they're buried somewhere deep far in that big pile
- 1:30:30Speaker 8: of junk in my dad's basement.
- 1:30:34Speaker 29: You hit him there on purpose.
- 1:30:36Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 1:30:36Speaker 19: I didn't have to do any hiding. His junk does
- 1:30:40Speaker 19: all the hiding. Wait a minute. There's too much crap
- 1:30:42Speaker 19: in his face.
- 1:30:43Speaker 5: This is getting creepy in a whole different way now.
- 1:30:45Speaker 19: Yeah, lots of kind of junk, Misty.
- 1:30:48Speaker 5: Creepy. Yeah, I think it's still creepy for you to
- 1:30:52Speaker 5: go back and look at him now. Even though you're
- 1:30:53Speaker 5: with him and he's of legal age now.
- 1:30:56Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:30:57Speaker 5: I don't think it makes it any less creepy for
- 1:30:59Speaker 5: you to go look at those photos.
- 1:31:00Speaker 29: I'm not going to look at him like that.
- 1:31:01Speaker 19: Ooh, hey, baby, look at that.
- 1:31:03Speaker 29: I'm like, look how retarded you look.
- 1:31:06Speaker 5: I don't know. It's a fine line. Okay, have we
- 1:31:11Speaker 5: worn out the creepy photos there?
- 1:31:12Speaker 29: I think so.
- 1:31:13Speaker 19: I'm sorry, man.
- 1:31:15Speaker 5: Yeah, we all feel bad. That those photos exist. So, okay,
- 1:31:21Speaker 5: back to the troll. So, is it just me, or
- 1:31:24Speaker 5: is the troll a complete and utter jackass the entire
- 1:31:28Speaker 5: rest of the movie, but, like, anytime he's around Malcolm,
- 1:31:32Speaker 5: he's kind of cool. Like, all of a sudden, I mean,
- 1:31:34Speaker 5: usually he's the little girl, but, like, When he is
- 1:31:37Speaker 5: talking to him, he becomes like a regular person and
- 1:31:40Speaker 5: he can have a conversation.
- 1:31:42Speaker 19: Wait, which one's Malcolm again?
- 1:31:43Speaker 5: The little guy.
- 1:31:44Speaker 19: Because it's his buddy.
- 1:31:45Speaker 5: I know, but.
- 1:31:46Speaker 29: He has a connection to him.
- 1:31:47Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:31:47Speaker 5: But seriously, like he's such an asshole. The rest of
- 1:31:50Speaker 5: the movie, like you can't stand him the rest of
- 1:31:53Speaker 5: the time.
- 1:31:53Speaker 19: Because everybody else is human.
- 1:31:55Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:31:56Speaker 5: I don't like humans either. I'm just like, as a movie,
- 1:31:58Speaker 5: it's so imbalanced. I'm just like. I, like, through most
- 1:32:01Speaker 5: of this movie, I'm like, man, I hate this guy,
- 1:32:02Speaker 5: he's kind of the villain, let's get rid of him,
- 1:32:04Speaker 5: come on, Noah, go, you know, kick his ass, and
- 1:32:07Speaker 5: then you get those scenes with him and Malcolm, and
- 1:32:10Speaker 5: it's just like, he becomes kind of, all of a
- 1:32:13Speaker 5: sudden you lose your villain, and I'm like, wait, I
- 1:32:14Speaker 5: don't hate him now, he's not a complete jackass now, like,
- 1:32:18Speaker 5: he's got some plan, and he's trying to, you know,
- 1:32:20Speaker 5: make things great for all the little people of the world,
- 1:32:23Speaker 5: or whatever, and.
- 1:32:24Speaker 33: I don't know.
- 1:32:25Speaker 19: Because that guy's dying of something.
- 1:32:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:32:27Speaker 5: I don't remember what it was.
- 1:32:28Speaker 19: That's the other part.
- 1:32:29Speaker 5: All of a sudden, then it gets like this bittersweet
- 1:32:31Speaker 5: moment of, oh, look, he's trying to help him. And
- 1:32:33Speaker 5: I'm just like, wait, we hated this guy a few
- 1:32:36Speaker 5: minutes ago. Why now are you trying to have these
- 1:32:38Speaker 5: redeeming qualities in this creepy little troll bastard?
- 1:32:41Speaker 8: Yeah, he turned him into a tiny little.
- 1:32:44Speaker 19: pan troll fucking thing.
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: Go boy.
- 1:32:49Speaker 5: It was weird, because it was just recognizable enough that
- 1:32:52Speaker 5: it didn't kind of look like him.
- 1:32:54Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:32:54Speaker 5: It was weird. Yeah, strange.
- 1:32:58Speaker 19: It is weird that the, I mean, the whole point
- 1:33:00Speaker 19: of most.
- 1:33:01Speaker 5: Of the movie is let's turn this apartment building into
- 1:33:03Speaker 5: a fantasy realm. Like, that's kind of the whole movie.
- 1:33:07Speaker 5: All he does is stab people and turn everything into
- 1:33:10Speaker 5: like a jungle thing. for fantasy creatures to roam about
- 1:33:14Speaker 5: i don't know it's a weird plot really for a
- 1:33:18Speaker 5: movie i.
- 1:33:19Speaker 30: Forget what their whole reasoning behind it was it each
- 1:33:22Speaker 30: part is that each room they took over and once
- 1:33:25Speaker 30: he converted once the entire building was converted over it
- 1:33:28Speaker 30: would become like a permanent passageway to fairyland.
- 1:33:32Speaker 5: Or something like that yeah i.
- 1:33:34Speaker 20: Don't know i didn't say it makes sense i'm just.
- 1:33:36Speaker 5: Yeah whatever It's just weird. That was pretty much the
- 1:33:42Speaker 5: bulk of the story. Like, every new scene, it was
- 1:33:45Speaker 5: just him claiming, completely conquering the next apartment in the complex.
- 1:33:52Speaker 5: Very strange. Now, I'm trying to remember, was it during
- 1:33:56Speaker 5: the story of the old lady, the Miss Sinclair, telling
- 1:33:59Speaker 5: the story that she used the phrase, rebel fairies? Because
- 1:34:04Speaker 5: I decided that needs to be like an awesomely bad
- 1:34:06Speaker 5: metal band.
- 1:34:07Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:34:09Speaker 5: Rebel fairies. I don't know. I'm pretty sure she used
- 1:34:12Speaker 5: that phrase.
- 1:34:12Speaker 29: Flame at connection.
- 1:34:13Speaker 22: Yeah.
- 1:34:14Speaker 5: I'm like, rebel fairies. There's just something odd about that
- 1:34:19Speaker 5: whole phrase. And then she gets turned into a talking
- 1:34:23Speaker 5: tree stump.
- 1:34:24Speaker 29: Don't you hate when that happens?
- 1:34:26Speaker 5: Once again, a very fantasy-oriented movie. This is just not
- 1:34:30Speaker 5: the movie I remembered or expected going in. It's just
- 1:34:34Speaker 5: such a weird fantasy movie.
- 1:34:36Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 1:34:37Speaker 5: I mean, hell, even in there, they put the princess
- 1:34:41Speaker 5: in a glass coffin. I mean, really, it's straight out
- 1:34:46Speaker 5: of Snow White. It's kind of funny.
- 1:34:48Speaker 29: I can go on my nerves.
- 1:34:51Speaker 5: Which the little bratty child.
- 1:34:52Speaker 29: Yeah, even before she was a troll, I didn't like her.
- 1:34:55Speaker 5: Yeah, she was kind of already obnoxious. You get to
- 1:34:59Speaker 5: that end there, and you've got him battling this beast.
- 1:35:05Speaker 5: That's the way to save thing is the heart of
- 1:35:08Speaker 5: Turok's universe or whatever she tells him, and he has
- 1:35:11Speaker 5: to go destroy it. So if you could create a
- 1:35:16Speaker 5: monster or heart or whatever that's controlling your whole universe,
- 1:35:20Speaker 5: why wouldn't you make it smart enough to not eat
- 1:35:23Speaker 5: the princesses?
- 1:35:25Speaker 29: Yeah, it doesn't make any sense.
- 1:35:26Speaker 5: I mean, he's what's controlling his whole universe. She's the
- 1:35:30Speaker 5: key to the whole plan. Why would the monster then
- 1:35:33Speaker 5: go eat the princess? Why would he try to attack
- 1:35:36Speaker 5: the princess? That is the whole reason. I mean, you
- 1:35:38Speaker 5: created him. You should have instilled in him the protect
- 1:35:41Speaker 5: her at all costs. Or, like, yeah, I don't know.
- 1:35:44Speaker 5: I thought that was, again, like that last wrap-up just
- 1:35:47Speaker 5: sort of made no sense of, here, we need this
- 1:35:49Speaker 5: to go horribly wrong. Because it would make sense if, like,
- 1:35:52Speaker 5: Noah was trying to kill him with the spear. But
- 1:35:55Speaker 5: in the end, it ends up the troll does to
- 1:35:57Speaker 5: save the princess. But I'm like, this was your monster.
- 1:36:00Speaker 29: There's a lot of things in this movie that don't
- 1:36:02Speaker 29: make sense.
- 1:36:02Speaker 11: I guess.
- 1:36:04Speaker 29: Don't dwell on that one. We could dwell more on
- 1:36:06Speaker 29: the singing than that one.
- 1:36:08Speaker 5: Okay, explain that one to me.
- 1:36:10Speaker 29: There is no sense to that one. Some things in
- 1:36:13Speaker 29: this movie just don't make sense. You could sit and
- 1:36:16Speaker 29: try to make sense out of them, but that's not
- 1:36:19Speaker 29: going to happen. You cannot sense-ify this movie.
- 1:36:24Speaker 5: That may be the case.
- 1:36:26Speaker 29: I was kind of glad that the kids share the
- 1:36:28Speaker 29: same room, too.
- 1:36:29Speaker 5: Yeah, I think that's illegal, isn't it? I'm pretty sure
- 1:36:32Speaker 5: a boy and girl can't share the same room. I
- 1:36:35Speaker 5: think if you're of the same gender, you can double
- 1:36:38Speaker 5: or triple up on them, which to me still kind
- 1:36:41Speaker 5: of sucks, but that's just because I don't want to
- 1:36:43Speaker 5: room with any other little bratty kid. But yeah, I
- 1:36:46Speaker 5: thought officially you really weren't legally supposed to put boys
- 1:36:50Speaker 5: and girls in the same rooms. I don't know if it.
- 1:36:52Speaker 29: Was an official matter. It just kind of creeped me out.
- 1:36:54Speaker 5: I think it is. I'm sure today it probably is
- 1:36:57Speaker 5: an official matter. Maybe, again, the 80s relaxed. Maybe you
- 1:37:00Speaker 5: could get away with that then.
- 1:37:01Speaker 11: I guess.
- 1:37:02Speaker 29: Yeah, that part creeped me out. Oh, man.
- 1:37:07Speaker 5: Anything else in general? We're, I guess, kind of running
- 1:37:10Speaker 5: through most of it here.
- 1:37:11Speaker 23: So what else?
- 1:37:12Speaker 5: What was your final take on it, Misty?
- 1:37:14Speaker 29: I liked it a lot more than I thought I would.
- 1:37:16Speaker 5: I kind of did, too. I have to agree.
- 1:37:18Speaker 20: I kind of had low expectations. I mean, as much
- 1:37:21Speaker 20: built up as I've heard for Troll 2, I'm like,
- 1:37:23Speaker 20: this movie's going to suck. But it's not going to
- 1:37:25Speaker 20: have the epic suckage of Troll 2. So I went
- 1:37:28Speaker 20: into it, and I'm like, okay, I'll just watch it.
- 1:37:30Speaker 20: It's got to know it half the way. We're going
- 1:37:31Speaker 20: to see him at a convention.
- 1:37:32Speaker 29: We'll watch more than one of his movies.
- 1:37:35Speaker 4: And I figured it was easier to watch that than
- 1:37:37Speaker 4: try to pack in all of Battlestar Galactica.
- 1:37:41Speaker 29: So, yeah, I actually really ended up liking it. I
- 1:37:44Speaker 29: liked it better than I liked the one with the shotgun. So, yeah,
- 1:37:48Speaker 29: I gave it two thumbs up, surprisingly enough. How about you, boyfriend?
- 1:37:52Speaker 12: What?
- 1:37:52Speaker 19: What?
- 1:37:55Speaker 20: What is your overall feeling on the movie?
- 1:37:59Speaker 23: I liked it.
- 1:38:01Speaker 19: It's good.
- 1:38:04Speaker 5: I wish that this was the thinky time version. Again,
- 1:38:10Speaker 5: I had seen it, but it had been so long ago,
- 1:38:12Speaker 5: about the only thing I remembered, well, that Sonny Bono
- 1:38:16Speaker 5: was in it for one thing, but other than that,
- 1:38:18Speaker 5: I also remembered that it had that troll in it,
- 1:38:22Speaker 5: and the troll was kind of a jerk, and I
- 1:38:24Speaker 5: remember not liking the troll the whole time, and that's
- 1:38:26Speaker 5: sort of what I took from it, and forgot pretty
- 1:38:28Speaker 5: much all the rest of the plot. So, yeah, once
- 1:38:31Speaker 5: you take, I mean, because he's still watching it, and
- 1:38:33Speaker 5: he's still a jerk the whole time. I still don't
- 1:38:35Speaker 5: like that troll character, which is funny, because it's played
- 1:38:38Speaker 5: by the same character, it's the same actor as Malcolm,
- 1:38:41Speaker 5: and he's really good as Malcolm, so why he comes
- 1:38:43Speaker 5: off as such a terrible, I don't know, it's weird,
- 1:38:46Speaker 5: but aside from that, it's like you take that creepy
- 1:38:50Speaker 5: character out of it and it's kind of an interesting
- 1:38:52Speaker 5: little fantasy movie it's a lot more fun than I
- 1:38:55Speaker 5: remembered it's a lot more fun if you can get
- 1:38:58Speaker 5: past some of the cheesiness of it and just sort
- 1:39:00Speaker 5: of watch it it's more fun than I expected going
- 1:39:03Speaker 5: back into it and here's what's really funny I'm not
- 1:39:07Speaker 5: sure if you're aware of this but when you look
- 1:39:10Speaker 5: it up online it's listed as in pre-production for a
- 1:39:15Speaker 5: troll remake in 2012 oh no But it's actually the
- 1:39:19Speaker 5: original director himself is going back and redoing his own property.
- 1:39:24Speaker 5: So it's not like they're handing it off to some
- 1:39:27Speaker 5: Platinum Dunes loser, which, hell, who knows, it could still
- 1:39:30Speaker 5: end up going there. But, I mean, the fact that
- 1:39:33Speaker 5: it is the same director, it's kind of.
- 1:39:36Speaker 29: There's no half of it in it?
- 1:39:37Speaker 5: I would hope they would at least bring him back
- 1:39:39Speaker 5: to do something.
- 1:39:39Speaker 29: He'd be the dad.
- 1:39:40Speaker 1: Yeah, well.
- 1:39:41Speaker 29: I want to see him rock out like that guy.
- 1:39:43Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, I got... Dads in sweaters and chinos don't
- 1:39:47Speaker 5: need to be rocking out in their living room, by
- 1:39:49Speaker 5: the way. That's just a general rule. It creeps everybody out.
- 1:39:54Speaker 3: So, yeah, I don't know.
- 1:39:56Speaker 5: Does Noel fit the dad in chinos rule? He seems
- 1:40:00Speaker 5: too cool for that now.
- 1:40:01Speaker 29: That's gotta be a twist, you see. He'd be the
- 1:40:03Speaker 29: kick-ass dad.
- 1:40:04Speaker 5: I guess.
- 1:40:05Speaker 29: He's a tattooed dad.
- 1:40:07Speaker 5: Oh, maybe he can be the Sonny Bonobor. No. He
- 1:40:10Speaker 5: can be like, hey, ladies. He can wink at him
- 1:40:14Speaker 5: and bring him into his racing-striped apartment. Hmm. I haven't
- 1:40:19Speaker 5: seen that.
- 1:40:20Speaker 6: That'd be fun.
- 1:40:20Speaker 5: I'd fall for that. I'd see. I thought you'd eventually
- 1:40:23Speaker 5: come around to that. That would be a fun little
- 1:40:25Speaker 5: spin on it, actually. You obviously can't get Sonny to
- 1:40:28Speaker 5: come back anymore, so, yeah.
- 1:40:29Speaker 29: Why haven't you made any movies?
- 1:40:32Speaker 5: He's slacking off, that's why.
- 1:40:34Speaker 29: Don't they just make you so sad?
- 1:40:36Speaker 5: Yes, it does. So, yeah. That could be interesting, yeah.
- 1:40:41Speaker 5: Bring Noah back in to do the... Do the bachelor,
- 1:40:45Speaker 5: sleazy bachelor guy.
- 1:40:49Speaker 29: Or they could bring him in and he could be
- 1:40:50Speaker 29: the wizard. The lizard instead of the witch.
- 1:40:53Speaker 5: That could be too.
- 1:40:54Speaker 29: And the troll could be a chick. See, I'm fucking
- 1:40:57Speaker 29: your shit all up.
- 1:40:58Speaker 30: I am taking your world, putting it on the other end.
- 1:41:01Speaker 5: You're just really mixing it up because it wouldn't even
- 1:41:03Speaker 5: be the old lady that lives upstairs. It'd just be
- 1:41:05Speaker 5: that cool dude with a mohawk that lives there. Dude, seriously.
- 1:41:09Speaker 29: Then I'd be hanging out there all the time.
- 1:41:11Speaker 5: Yeah, that's true. You're huge. Your mom would wonder what
- 1:41:13Speaker 5: you were doing upstairs all day. Oh, wait, now I know.
- 1:41:18Speaker 5: Making time with Noah. All right, is that it for
- 1:41:24Speaker 5: you for a troll? All right, well, once again, we
- 1:41:28Speaker 5: liked it a little more than expected, and it's definitely
- 1:41:31Speaker 5: a lot more fun knowing that Noah had fun making it,
- 1:41:34Speaker 5: and seems to still think it's pretty fun to watch now, so.
- 1:41:39Speaker 5: I think that will wrap up Troll, and I think
- 1:41:42Speaker 5: we will wrap up this week's episode. So, since everybody's
- 1:41:45Speaker 5: falling asleep here anyway.
- 1:41:47Speaker 29: Yeah, come get your microphone off my belly.
- 1:41:50Speaker 5: Yeah, I guess so. Turn off all the lights while
- 1:41:52Speaker 5: you're up. Nice. Real nice.
- 1:41:56Speaker 4: Yep.
- 1:41:56Speaker 5: Otherwise, that about does it. We will return next week
- 1:41:59Speaker 5: with more exciting adventures from the con here. No telling
- 1:42:03Speaker 5: what we'll get into, but we'll see how that goes.
- 1:42:07Speaker 5: All right, we will return next week. Same geek time,
- 1:42:09Speaker 5: same geek feed. Thanks for listening.
- 1:42:11Speaker 3: Good night.
- 1:42:12Speaker 5: Good night.
- 1:42:13Speaker 29: Good night from Jay, who's asleep.
- 1:42:15Speaker 5: I guess you don't necessarily have to go to sleep
- 1:42:17Speaker 5: listening right now, but we're going to sleep, so good night.
- 1:42:21Speaker 29: Good night. Sleep tight. Don't let the bed bugs bite.
- 1:42:25Speaker 29: And if they do, just throw your shoe and say,
- 1:42:29Speaker 29: I don't want to sleep with you. Good night.
- 1:42:34Speaker 5: Wow. Where's a troll we need?
- 1:42:38Speaker 23: They look like big, good, strong hands, don't they? I
- 1:42:47Speaker 23: always thought that's what they were.
- 1:43:07Speaker 31: This isn't who I am From confidence to self-doubt In.
- 1:43:16Speaker 28: 60 seconds Storming stages and stereos.
- 1:43:20Speaker 2: From here to.
- 1:43:23Speaker 31: There Trying to prove that I belong Trying to win approval.
- 1:43:38Speaker 28: People that I don't know.
- 1:44:19Speaker 31: Than trees so I mean what I say.
- 1:44:22Speaker 29: Is it just this disease.
- 1:44:26Speaker 2: Where I never go.
- 1:44:28Speaker 31: Home never telling the truth how this life.
- 1:44:35Speaker 28: Feeds away admitting I'm fake and I'm questioning whether this
- 1:44:42Speaker 28: whole thing was worth it to die for.
- 1:44:46Speaker 5: And all I like children.
